APPEASMENT: World Leaders Ignorant of World History

IMMUNITY FROM EXECUTION CANNOT BE BOUGHT WITH BRIBES OF STATEHOOD
‘New Threat to Israel’ if Palestinian State Established | News on The 700 Club – September 22, 2025
As world leaders declare their rule over sovereign Israel by proclaiming a Palestinian state, they believe they are buying their own protection from the killing fields and forces of Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, Al-Qaeda, Iran, the Houthis, the Islamic State, the Taliban, and more! They believe, therefore, in the tooth fairy and an entourage of fictional characters and events that flow forth from the notion of appeasement, which has never proved true throughout history, including all of the following bloody examples of violent regimes executing their own supporters and allies, believing that they would eliminate threats to their absolute power with death sentences:
Joseph Stalin (Soviet Union)
The Great Purge: From 1936 to 1938, Stalin’s former political allies were systematically eliminated in The Great Terror, including: high-ranking members of the Communist Party, military leaders, intellectuals, artists, religious figures, ethnic minorities, many ordinary citizens labelled as “enemies of the people” and the same government officials who had helped Stalin rise to power, later convicted in show trials and executed.
Adolf Hitler (Nazi Germany)
The Night of the Long Knives: In 1934, Hitler ordered the murder of dozens of his own political stormtroopers, including a significant supporter of Hitler since the early days of the Nazi Party that Hitler feared as a potential rival to his authority.
Rafael Trujillo (Dominican Republic)
Assassination of opponents: Trujillo’s brutal 30-year rule was marked by the torture and murder of anyone who opposed him. Including persons who had once been part of his government’s inner circle.
Jorge Rafael Videla (Argentina)
The “Dirty War”: As the leader of the military junta in Argentina in 1976, Videla oversaw the murder and “disappearance” of approximately 30,000 persons, including trade union leaders and others who had once supported aspects of the government.
Augusto Pinochet (Chile)
Consolidation of power: After the 1973 coup, Pinochet’s regime eliminated tens of thousands of persons, including former allies and those associated with leftist organizations that were once aligned with his nationalist policies.
Saddam Hussein (Iraq)
Elimination of dissent: Throughout his brutal rule, Hussein regularly purged his party by executing high-ranking members and close confidants. At a 1979 party meeting, he had dozens of officials arrested and executed in front of their colleagues.
Kim Jong-un (North Korea)
Consolidation of power: The current leader of North Korea has continued the family tradition of purging political figures and even family members, including his uncle in 2013, a key figure in the regime, and his half-brother assassinated in 2017.
Appeasement has been proven throughout history to be the avenue for betrayal, self-delusion, defeat, death, total loss of status and power, murders of family members, and a special place in history’s hallmarks of putrid self-defeating belief systems that backfire. It is the sure-fire way to backfire against those who are ignorant of history and reality, which do not change when world leaders dispute them.
History is real and unchangeable. Reality is real and often lethal and unthinkable.
The notion that visceral hatred can be distracted, diverted, dissuaded, or eliminated by giveaways of money, statehood, status, and material trappings is a trip into an imaginary universe and a direct disobedience of The Divine One, Who has ordered the world as He sees fit and knows best. Indeed, The Father knows best and will not be overruled by rulers of men deceiving themselves to their own detriment. The Divine and eternal word still and always stands immutable:
Ezekiel 47:13-20: Because I swore with an uplifted hand to give it to your forefathers, this land will fall to you as an inheritance.
Joshua 1:4: Your territory shall extend from the wilderness and Lebanon to the great River Euphrates—all the land of the Hittites—and west as far as the Great Sea.
Exodus 23:31-32: And I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the desert to the Euphrates. For I will deliver the inhabitants into your hand, and you will drive them out before you. 32You shall make no covenant with them or with their gods.
