Poland sends thousands of texts to illegal Muslim migrants at Belarus border telling them to go back

Poland declared a state of emergency at the border with Belarus earlier this month and revealed that some of the migrants “had radical Islamic propaganda in their possession.” The jihadist infiltration through unvetted refugee streams has been a major threat to the security of Western countries across the board, although globalists refuse to acknowledge this. Back in August, Poland deployed hundreds of troops along the Belarus border and erected barbed wire to stop the influx of illegal Muslim migrants. According to ABC News, “Most of the migrants trying to cross over from Belarus are originally from Iraq, with some from Afghanistan and Syria.”

Also:

Some of the migrants are also said to have possessed child pornography and images of bestiality on their mobile devices, which led to a bizarre fact-check by left-wing journalists as to the correct species of animals in the pornography in question.

Poland has remained steadfast in upholding the rule of law and protecting itself from invasion, even under longstanding EU pressure to accept open-door mass migration. Only now there has been a shift in the face of a new challenge from Belarus. European Union Home Affairs Commissioner Ylva Johansson accused Belarus President  Alexander Lukashenko of luring “people from the Middle East, Asia, and Africa to the border of Europe.”  She added: “We must never be weak towards Lukashenko. He is desperate.”

Any Western nation in fact that appears (and is) “weak” and unknowledgeable about jihadists, their lies and their manipulations, is contributing to the destruction of its own civilization from within.

Turkey, on the other hand, which would be a more religiously and culturally compatible place for Muslim refugees to settle, has been deporting hundreds of Afghan refugees.

Go home’: Poland sends thousands of text messages to migrants at its border with Belarus

translated from “”Rentrez” : la Pologne envoie des milliers de SMS aux migrants à sa frontière avec la Biélorussie,” FranceInfo, September 29, 2021:

This is not a welcome message. Poland says it has sent nearly 31,000 text messages to foreign telephones along its border with Belarus on Tuesday, September 28, in an attempt to deter migrants there from entering its territory. “The Polish border is closed. The Belarusian authorities lied to you. Go back to Minsk!”, Read the message in English.

The text messages also contained a link to a site in English, French, Arabic, Russian and Polish warning migrants that crossing the border illegally “can lead to jail.” “Deteriorating weather conditions can endanger your life and health,” the site added. “Any attempt to hide and sleep irregularly (outdoors, unsheltered) can end tragically.” Six migrants recently died on the border between the EU and Belarus.

Immigration orchestrated by Minsk and Moscow?

Poland has deployed thousands of troops to the 400 km border in recent weeks, built a barbed-wire fence and declared a state of emergency that prohibits the press and NGOs from approaching it. With the drop in temperatures, associations spoke of a humanitarian crisis among migrants and asked for access to provide medical assistance.

Poland accuses Russia and Belarus of being at the origin of this wave of illegal immigration at its land border, with nearly 10,000 entry attempts since early August. The European Union sees this as a form of reprisal for the sanctions imposed by the EU against Belarus following the repression of the opposition by the Minsk regime.

My “Wealth Effect Monitor” for the Money-Printer Economy: Holy Moly, October Update

Editor’s Note: It is amusing, if not tragic, that those who complain the most about “inequality”, pursue monetary, fiscal, and tax policies, that make it much worse for the poor.  Asset price inflation favors obviously those with the means to own assets: stocks, bonds, and real estate. While inflation is a tax on all of us, and a regressive tax at that, lacking the ability to own assets means the poor get hurt the worst by precisely the economic fallacies peddled by those who say they help the poor.

The bottom 50% need not apply. They just get to eat the soaring costs of housing. How the Fed totally blew out the already gigantic wealth disparity during the pandemic.

On Friday, the Fed released the detailed data about the wealth of households by wealth category for the 1%, the 2% to 9%, the “next 40%” (the top 10% to 50%) and the “bottom 50%” for the second quarter, after having released less detailed figures on September 23. You read the stories at the time about how the Fed’s money-printing and interest-rate-repression has enriched American households.

But the detailed data, just now released, show whose wealth jumped the most, and who got left endlessly further behind. It wasn’t households in general that benefited, but only the richest households with the most assets. The more assets they had, the more they benefited.

My Wealth Effect Monitor divides the wealth (assets minus liabilities) for each wealth category by the number of households in that category, which produces average per-household wealth within each category. The wealth of the bottom 50% is reflected by the jagged green line on the bottom, essentially on top of the horizontal axis:

Not shown separately are the truly rich – the 0.01% – and the Billionaire Class.  The Fed wisely doesn’t provide any information on them separately, but includes them in the Top 1%.

But according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, the top 30 US billionaires are worth on average $69 billion per household currently, having gained on average $2.2 billion in wealth each over the quarter.

The bottom 50% of US households (green line above) – 63.2 million households – are worth on average $47,900 per household. But this includes $25,970 in “durable goods” (cars, phones, furniture, etc.), which for consumers are normally considered consumables, not assets, because their values are declining, and they don’t produce incomes.

The bottom 50% gained $7,900 per household over the quarter, and those gains included $2,085 from purchases of durable goods!

Socialist Spending Bill Fails To Move Forward

Thank you for taking the time to send emails.

Socialism is hostile toward a wide range of liberties that Americans have cherished for hundreds of years.  Socialism is very oppressive toward religious liberties especially towards Christians and Jews.

“This is the biggest step toward socialism in my lifetime.”  U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi declined to take a vote on the $3.5 trillion dollar socialist spending bill by her September 30, 2021 deadline after approximately two dozen members of the house indicated that they would not vote for it.  Additionally, Senators Joe Manchin (D-West Virginia) and Kyrsten Sinema (D- Arizona) voiced their opposition to the fiscally irresponsible legislation.  Additionally, it appears that some other Democrat senators also indicated that they would not vote for the bill.

Since the overwhelming majority of Republicans are opposed to the $3.5 trillion dollar socialist spending bill Florida Family Association focused on encouraging 7 moderate Democrats in the Senate and 19 moderate Democrats in the House to oppose the legislation.   Florida Family Association launched several email campaigns that provided prepared emails for subscribers to send to these moderate Democrats.   These prepared emails were produced in a format that sent them through each subscriber’s own email client.  This embedded email format was chosen in order insure their delivery. Florida Family Association estimates that each official received over 15,000 emails from Florida Family Association subscribers.  Additionally and thankfully, there were conservative news media and talk shows that expressed grave concern regarding this radical legislation.

Why is Florida Family Association concerned about the $3.5 trillion dollar spending bill?  This legislation moves America ever closer to oppressive socialism.   U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham described the $3.5 trillion dollar spending bill as “This is the biggest step toward socialism in my lifetime.”  Socialism is hostile toward a wide range of liberties that Americans have cherished for hundreds of years.  Socialism is very oppressive toward religious liberties especially towards Christians and Jews.

High inflation and gas prices caused by recent excessive congressional spending are hurting millions of American families and threatening our economy.   Fox News Poll reports: “83% worry about inflation, majority says benefits hurting economy.  Inflation tops the list of economic concerns for voters– ahead of taxes, unemployment, the federal deficit, and interest rates.”   The increasing gasoline prices and energy costs will likely go even higher with the left’s obsession with the New Green Deal which is part of the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill.

It is fiscally irresponsible for congress to throw more money on the inflation fire that will break the budgets of more American families and burden them with entitlement programs that will endure forever.   Additionally, the $3.5 trillion plan will require much more money from the private sector to pay for more entitlement programs thus pushing America even closer to socialism while hurting our robust economy.  This bill will increase energy costs and our dependence on foreign oil thereby weakening national security.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi extended the deadline for voting on this irresponsible socialist legislation to October 30, 2021.  The $3.5 trillion amount will likely be reduced in order to garner votes.  However, the bill’s passage becomes much less probable following this failure and as the calendar nears the 2022 elections when voters will be more likely to hold these officials accountable.  Florida Family Association is prepared to launch more email campaigns if necessary.

Thank you for taking the time to send emails.  Your emails made a difference.

A Record? Twitter Has Had Me “Under Suspension” for SIX MONTHS

Maybe they want to see who’ll blink first. But I’ve heard of Twitter suspending people’s accounts (e.g., Nicki Minaj) and banning users (e.g., President Trump), along with the games they routinely play, such as shadow-banning tweets. I’ve never heard, however, of someone being in Twitter limbo for more than six months while the Twitter twits “review” his appeal.

But that’s me.

September 17, 12:29 p.m. marked the six month anniversary of my first and only “suspension” from Twitter. Oh, it was a long time in coming. I mean, I’d posted so much politically incorrect material that I was wondering when I’d be suspended and, frankly, had been feeling a bit neglected, as if I wasn’t persecution-worthy. In particular, I’d sent a multitude of “un-woke” tweets (a.k.a. the Truth) about the MUSS (Made-up Sexual Status or “transgender”) agenda, which the Twitter twits are often intensely sensitive about. (I guess they can sympathize with aspiring shape-shifters, having long ago transitioned from a social media platform to an anti-social propaganda outfit.)

But I finally attracted their attention when I responded to rapper Cardi B after the March dust-up she had with commentator Candace Owens. Owens had criticized the “singer’s” depraved 2021 Grammy Awards performance featuring her testimonial to America’s descent into idiocracy — her song “WAP” — and, in response, Cardi B had posted an old, suggestive photo of Melania Trump to justify her actions and asked why Owens had a problem with her. I then tweeted:

@iamcardib Maybe because you’re acting like a greedy slut who’s corrupting the young? Just a thought. Here’s a pro tip: You don’t justify bad behavior by citing other bad behavior. Children do that.

There are two ironies here. First, in saner times, pre-Sexual Devolution, Cardi B’s cultural effluent wouldn’t have been produced by any major label, let alone aired.

Now it’s criticism of such that mayn’t be aired.

Second, my Twitter cancelation befell me while I was crafting a magazine essay on cancel culture. So as I put it, sort “of like a researcher in the midst of a set of experiments who then finds out he’s going to be one of the test subjects, Twitter gave me some timely and personal material a day before my article deadline.”

What’s more, the Twitter twits explained my suspension thus:

“You may not promote violence against or directly attack or threaten other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease.”

Of course, I didn’t actually call Cardi B a “slut,” but said she was acting like one. But help me out: Into which of the above categories does “slut” fall? Maybe it’s a “disability,” I don’t know. Or perhaps it’s a race from an alternate universe where vice is the norm (oh, wait, that’s what we’re becoming!) and the women are all like Bill Clinton without the self-restraint.

By the way, I won’t explicitly relate what “WAP” is an acronym for, but the first word is “Wet,” the second is a three-letter term for derrière, and the third is both a name for a cat and a vulgar noun describing an intimate female body part.

But, no matter, Cardi B, worth $30 million dollars, needs GoogTwitFace (Big Tech) protection from those of modest means who’d dare question her probity. So for the last six months, when logging into my Twitter account, a page appears on which the Twitter twits “thank” me for my appeal and then write:

Please note that while we review your appeal, you won’t be able to access your Twitter account. We’ll take a look and will respond as soon as possible.

If you’d rather just delete the content, you can cancel your appeal.

I’d sent the Twitter twits a link to my first article, in which I also called them Twitter twits, which probably didn’t exactly endear them to me. I also wrote in reference to my possibly deleting the tweet that this will never, ever happen. The Twitter twits might have taken this as a bit of a challenge and perhaps want to see me go back on my word — see me blink first, as I said.

Yes, well, Twitter twits, I really do miss being shadow-banned and having a grand total of seven followers actually see my tweets. What exposure I’m missing!

But I’ll manage and, along with many others, will use alternative social media platforms. This will further divide the country and clarify the battle lines. I won’t say “It’s all good,” but it is all now necessary — and a heck of a lot better than the alternative.

Today is October 5th, 2021 and Joe Biden’s ‘Build Back Better Agenda’ is the worst in U.S. History

Biden and his minions are bound and determined to Build Back Bigger Government.” – Dr. Rich Swier

So what does Build Back Better (BBB) mean? Didn’t the last President Make America Great Again? So is Biden’s intent to make America greater than his predecessor?

According to the White House website the intent of Build Back Better is to:

The Build Back Better Agenda is an ambitious plan to create jobs, cut taxes, and lower costs for working families – all paid for by making the tax code fairer and making the wealthiest and large corporations pay their fair share.

Since Biden’s inauguration has he created more jobs? Cut taxes? Lowered costs for working families?

Just look at the economy and you will see higher unemployment, lower wages, workers being fired for not taking the Covid vaccine, higher gasoline prices, shortages of goods and services (particularly in those states that have full or partial lockdowns) and more people looking for a job.

What we are seeing is the false notion that taxing corporations is good for us. Why? Because when any corporation is taxed more they either pass on that cost to their consumers or go out of business.

AOC’s dress with the statement in red to “tax the rich” is a false flag. History tells us that the rich find ways to avoid taxes and the working class gets a greater tax burden or worse workers are laid off because corporations cut staff when faced with more regulation and higher taxes.

Is Build Back Better Really Better, so far?

Biden laid out the following goals for his “Build Back Better” agenda:

  1. “Build a Modern Infrastructure” [More government spending]
  2. “Position the U.S. Auto Industry to Win the 21st Century with technology invented in America” [Mandate the auto industry comply or else]
  3. “Achieve a Carbon Pollution-Free Power Sector by 2035” [Green New Deal]
  4. “Make Dramatic Investments in Energy Efficiency in Buildings, including Completing 4 Million Retrofits and Building 1.5 Million New Affordable Homes” [More Green New Deal mandates]
  5. “Pursue a Historic Investment in Clean Energy Innovation” [Green New Deal on asteroids]
  6. “Advance Sustainable Agriculture and Conservation” [Famers required to be green or else]
  7. “Secure Environmental Justice and Equitable Economy Opportunity” [Equal people are not free and free people are not equal]

The Biden administrations agenda has become very clear.

If the intent of Biden is to make the lives of every American better then as of October 5th, 2021 he is a complete failure.

According to Wikipedia Build Back Better:

The Build Back Better Agenda is a projected $7 trillion COVID-19 relief, future economic, and infrastructure package proposed by President Joe Biden. It will include investments in infrastructure, and is projected to create 10 million clean-energy jobs. Expenditures would also include government funds on housing, education, economic fairness and health care.[1]

The plan is divided into three parts: the American Rescue Plan, a COVID-19 relief package, which passed in March 2021;[2] the American Jobs Plan, a proposal to rebuild America’s infrastructure and create jobs;[3] and the American Families Plan, a proposal to invest in areas related to childcare and education.[4] As of October 1, 2021, the American Rescue Plan is the only plan that has been signed into law, though proposals featured in the American Jobs Plan have been passed in the Senate through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act[Emphasis added]

So Build Back Better is actually a massive government growth coupled with social a massive government spending spree. Not surprisingly it is inextricably tied to Covid.

To pass the Democrat/Biden Build Back Better agenda requires the American people’s cooperation. However, we are seeing more and more Americans taking up arms against this plan via civil disobedience.

Since Biden’s election his poll numbers have dropped dramatically as he and his handlers try to implement his BBB agenda.

Conclusion

Build Back Better is missing one word in its title “government.” Biden and his minions are bound and determined to Build Back Bigger Government.

There’s no better in Biden’s Agenda only worse

Using the office of the president Biden has not waited for Congress to implement his BBB agenda. Rather he and his administration are using federal agencies like the CDC, OSHA, IRS, Justice Department and FBI to suppress any and all opposition to the BBB agenda.

If you are in the medical profession and work in a hospital and you choose not to get the Covid vaccine you can be fired.

If you are in a company with more than 100 workers and you fail to get the Covid vaccine you will be fired.

If you are in the U.S. military and your choose to not take the Covid vaccine you could be dishonorably discharged.

If you don’t have a “vaccine passport” your ability to travel within the United States and overseas can be restricted or even denied.

The backbone of Build Back Better is comply or else.

Freedom of choice. My body, my choice only applies to killing the unborn, not to you if you don’t get jabbed.

We predict as the Build Back Better agenda moves forward more and more American workers and their families will move backwards.

Biden seems to be building backwards, not forward. He wants to empower government not the individual, and many Democrats are fine with this. This goes beyond socialism, this is Communism writ large.

Gird your loins. We have three years and two more months of Biden, unless something dramatic happens.

Can you survive? Can your family survive? Can America’s Constitutional Republic survive.

The midterm elections in 2022 will be a bell weather election. If conservatives, note I did not write Republicans, don’t take control of one or both houses of Congress we are doomed

Get out and vote. Insure your state implements laws that enhance election integrity.

Can The Government Mint a $1TRILLION Coin to Pay Its Bills?

Here’s why the fantastical notion of a trillion-dollar coin appearing out of thin air to pay the bills is so appealing—and perilous.

Gridlock in Washington, DC continues amid a fight over raising the debt ceiling, the legal limit on how much the federal government can borrow. Right now, the federal government will be unable to pay its bills on October 18 if the limit isn’t raised, which would prompt a default with disastrous economic ramifications. The most likely outcome is that Congress, in one way or another, comes together to raise the limit. But the deadlock is leading some progressives to push for an extreme and unusual solution.

What if the Treasury Department simply minted a $1 trillion platinum coin, deposited it, and used it to pay its bills without taking out new debt? Yes, seriously. The idea sounds fantastical, but is gaining traction.

“[President] Biden does have an ace in the hole if Congress doesn’t suspend the debt limit,” left-leaning economist Dean Baker wrote for CNN.com. “Due to a technicality in the law, the Treasury Department can print a platinum coin and assign a huge value to it—say, $1 trillion—and sell it to the Federal Reserve Board. This would get around the need to borrow.”

Others share Baker’s view. Writing for the Washington Post, Zachary D. Carter described the solution as “perfectly painless” and “economically meaningless.” New York Times columnist and left-wing economist Paul Krugman has endorsed the idea, as have members of Congress including Reps. Rashida Tlaib and Jerry Nadler.

But if this admittedly novel solution sounds too good to be true, that’s because it is.

In fact, there’s an intense debate over whether the federal government actually has the legal authority to pursue such a scheme. Florida Atlantic University economist and monetary policy specialist William J. Luther told FEE in an interview that he believes minting a $1 trillion “token” coin would be unlawful. (For wonky legal reasons explained in this thread.)

More importantly, it’s a bad idea on the policy front. For one, it undermines citizen accountability for the federal government’s spending policies.

“We don’t want bureaucrats at the Treasury circumventing the rules established by Congress,” Luther says. “If Congress wants to spend more without raising taxes, it needs to raise the debt ceiling. If it does that, voters can hold these elected officials accountable. But if you don’t have that vote, it’s hard to hold people accountable.”

Moreover, the economic ramifications of minting a $1 trillion coin are grave.

One of the most glaring concerns people raise with the idea is that minting a $1 trillion coin would lead to inflation by increasing the money supply while the economy otherwise is unchanged. But Luther explains that the Federal Reserve would likely counteract this effect.

“The Fed would neutralize the monetary effects of this coin by selling some of its treasury holdings back to the public and destroying the money it received,” the economist said. “On the one hand you have the Treasury creating a $1 trillion coin, on the other hand you have the Fed contracting the money supply by $1 trillion… so there’s no net monetary effect.”

This means inflation isn’t necessarily a worry—but also reveals why the $1 trillion coin is not actually “painless” or “economically meaningless.”

“Yes, it’s a way around the debt ceiling,” Luther explained. “[But] a trillion dollars that used to be in the private sector is now in the public sector.”

“There is a real resource constraint,” he continued. “Typically, if the government does more, the private sector does less… with some exceptions. [Generally], markets do the best they can with the resources they have. So, if the government bids more of those resources into its own projects, it is necessarily bidding those resources away from the alternative projects they would have been used to pursue. It doesn’t matter how they’re funded… those real resources are in the economy, the question is whether they’re going to be used by the public sector or the private sector.”

“We’re going to spend that $1 trillion on something,” Luther said. “If you spend a portion building a road, you’re going to have to hire employees, which means you’re bidding them away from other pursuits. You’re going to have to acquire machinery, which means you’re bidding away machinery from other projects. Those real resources are not going to be available for other purposes. Whenever the government is using real resources, that necessarily means someone else in the economy—the private sector—is not using those resources.”

Odds are, the bureaucratic and inefficient federal government will make worse investments with these resources than the private sector would have. After all, the free market allocates resources where they’re needed most in accordance with price signals. The government allocates resources based on lobbying and politics. So, it’s not even just a 1-1 trade-off facing us in the coin-minters’ fantasy, but likely even more lost in economic fallout.

Why does this matter? Well, progressives pushing this scheme are desperate to find a way they can fund their endless government spending ambitions and expansions of the welfare state without having to pay the price or deal with any consequences. That’s why the fantastical notion of a trillion-dollar coin appearing out of thin air to pay the bills is so appealing.

But there’s simply no getting around the basic economic reality of trade-offs and scarce resources, no matter how clever the scheme. Ultimately, government spending has costs that cannot be avoided—no matter how many trillion-dollar coins the Treasury mints.

America’s Medical Stasi, from Subjugation to Slavery

“The propagandist’s purpose is to make one set of people forget that certain other sets of people are human.” –  Aldous Huxley (pacifist, philosophical mysticism, writer, and universalist)

“Propaganda is the executive arm of the invisible government.” –  Edward Bernays (pioneer in the field of public relations and propaganda)

“Only those who believe in child sacrifice would be in favor of the poison death shot.” – Dr. Vladimir Zelenko

“If everybody is thinking alike, then somebody is not thinking.” –  General George Patton

“However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion.” – George Washington

Who were the Stasi in Nazi Germany?  They were one of the most effective and repressive intelligence and secret police agencies ever to have existed.  I’ve seen them in today’s America, throughout society, throughout the medical industry, throughout corporations, throughout our military, throughout state legislatures and within our own FBI, CIA, NSA and every other federal alphabet soup entity.

They’re here. They’re the mask Nazis, the quarantine Nazis, the jab Nazis; they’re the destroyers, those who hate freedom and liberty. From subjugation to slavery, their goal is complete control and the elimination of our God-given rights.  Who is in charge? The multi-billionaire depopulation eugenicists like Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum, Bill Gates and his mouthpiece, Anthony Fauci, Soros and his tableau of organizations. Their underlings are those who occupy high offices in political parties throughout the world and follow the dictates for power and money.  Only a small percentage of Americans refused to don face diapers knowing it was control of the masses.  Fighting back means not accepting their lies.

Anthony Fauci

Speaking of Fauci and his love of his compatriots in the Chinese Communist Party, his emails– obtained exclusively by The National Pulse – reveal the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director congratulated epidemiologist Dr. Ian Lipkin, a key Wuhan Institute of Virology collaborator, on receiving personal awards from Chinese Communist Party dictator Xi Jinping.  How nice.  His emails even prove that he funded lab training for Wuhan’s most deadly lab.

Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted to Sen. John Kennedy in late May that the Wuhan Institute of Virology may have engaged in “gain of function” research funded by his National Institutes of Health (NIH), as there is “no way of guaranteeing” how U.S. taxpayer dollars were used.  “Gain of function” research is medical research that alters an organism or disease in a way that increases pathogenesis, transmissibility, or host range (the types of hosts that a microorganism can infect).

The Wuhan lab then deleted Fauci’s NIH and “gain of function” mentions from their old web pages in early 2021.

Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, Budesonide, Colchicine, and other safe, long used “approved” medicines have shown a remarkable reduction in Covid symptoms and severity, but will not be utilized because the “emergency use” authorization of the injectables would be eliminated.  This would result in exposing the usual waste of billions upon billions of taxpayer dollars which does nothing to solve the problem and only enriches selected corporations and individuals.  This is why Fauci dressed down then President Trump for mentioning HCQ as a prophylactic.  Fauci should have been immediately fired and VP Pence locked in a closet for the remainder of the term.

Subjugation

Biden’s latest request of the Supreme court justice to strip American citizens of their second amendment rights would leave us as fish in a barrel, easy targets.  This is their dream…and unlike Australia, we need to cling to our Bibles, our guns and our Constitution’s God-given freedoms.  Do you get it folks?  This means getting off your backsides, turning off sports where multi-millionaires refuse to stand with their hands over their hearts for our flag.  Those very stars and stripes represent the blood of our soldiers spilt on foreign soil that bought these ungrateful punks the right to act like fools in front of all America.

It means telling our servants via email or phone that they no longer represent the American people and we’re taking our country back.  Across our country, we should be marching in the streets for medical freedom. If we don’t respond soon and make our voices heard, there will be boxcars to take us to the Gulags for not accepting their poisonous jabs.

There are a myriad of physicians and scientists who have put their lives and professions on the line to expose the dangers of this experimental injection.  They need our support as does Sidney Powell’s Defending the Republic.   When you fund her organization, you fund billboards across the country exposing the dangers of the Covid jab, and this is only one issue she is fighting.  Are you listening to these warriors of freedom? Are you spreading their truths, telling people to avoid the toxic venom in these experimental jabs? Or are you circumventing involvement to save your family, friends and acquaintances? Silence may be golden, but not in today’s world.

America’s Military at Risk

Dr. Lee Merritt was a Navy orthopedic surgeon for 10 years and is a member of America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS.org).  In a previous interview with New American Magazine’s Senior Editor Alex Newman, Dr. Merritt stated that there were Chinese scientists embedded in every bioweapon lab in America. And now we know there are hundreds of Chinese scientists working in Pfizer, Glaxo Smith Kline, and AstraZeneca who are helping to make these Covid injections.

In this two-minute video from August 27th, Dr. Merritt tells that there were only 20 Covid deaths of active duty in 2020 in all the services put together, yet they’re “vaccinating” everyone.  They have a big epidemiologic base now to track these stats.  She states that since the Covid jab, we’ve already had tumors and 80 new cases of myocarditis which has a significant five-year mortality rate at 66%, so the jab program has ostensibly killed more of our young soldiers than Covid did.  There are 48 leukemias per average in VAERS, and we’re now up to 229.  In 31 years of VAERS, there were 337 cases of myocarditis, and this year there were 1,113.  Why are we not stopping this?

In this video, Dr. Merritt gives us some ominous statistics.  She speaks at 1:23 and was asked about adverse events in our military. What she said was devastating.  “After our soldiers received the Covid jab, myocarditis increased to 1400 cases above the average.  The real issue here is our national security and it doesn’t appear that anyone is paying attention.”

Dr. Merritt says, we’ve had nine civilian pilots die of thrombotic events (blood clots) and they can get up and walk around in the cockpit, but military pilots are strapped into ejection seat aircraft.  They can’t move around at all and they do these long flights and sometimes they’re carrying weapons, some potentially nuclear weapons.  She says, “This is insane; they never used to give them any kind of drug that hadn’t been on the market for five years.”

She went on to explain that Canadian President, Justin Trudeau, has allowed the Chinese to train on their indigenous lands.  And when she was working on the Mexican border 20 years ago, she said they had Chinese being smuggled across the border when the average person paid $1500 to 1800, the Chinese were paying $60,000. There are two militaries not taking this mRNA technology…the Russians and the Chinese.  Whose national security here is at risk?

She says that the unvaxxed in our military should stall since they have until December 1st and the house of cards may fall by then.  The rumor has it that the Navy in Australia is 25 to 50% undeployable with 100% of them “vaccinated.”  “We are the target guys, and if you took an oath to the Constitution, my advice is to honor that oath by not getting vaccinated so you can help defend this nation if things require it here in the near future.

Dr. Merritt states that 200 Chinese scientists were embedded in Pfizer and Moderna who helped to develop these “vaccines.”  That should make all of us extremely wary.

Refusing Biden Mandates

Have you seen the refusals being met with Biden’s dictates?  He claims our soldiers will be dishonorably discharged for choosing medical freedom.  He wants to treat them the same as deserters.  For deserter Bowe Bergdahl, who cost the lives of his fellow soldiers, Newsweek reported, “There is clear evidence,” said former Army intelligence officer Tony Shaffer, “that [Bergdahl] was going over to the other side.” Both Shaffer and former Fox News intelligence reporter Catherine Herridge cited senior government sources with access to a 2009 report by the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). Bergdahl, Shaffer declared, “was actually trying to offer himself up to the Taliban.”

Remember the deaths of our soldiers in Benghazi?  It’s all connected.  Obama used Bergdahl’s exchange for the five Taliban generals in Gitmo to cover that Obama was being coerced by the Taliban about the unauthorized Stinger Missile deal that Ambassador Stevens was sent to Benghazi to retrieve.

Navy Seals will not be deployed if they refuse the poisonous flu virus jab that 99.8% recover from.  These are warrior efforts we must support.  They are not accepting the lies.

The Navy is going even further.  National File reported the United States Navy is forming a new disciplinary squad to punish vaccine resisters, according to an unclassified NAVADMIN memo. The Navy policy document from Washington, D.C. states that a new “central authority” called the Covid Consolidated Disposition Authority (CCDA) will be the arbiter of punishing unvaccinated military members.

The document states that the CCDA will “serve as the central authority for adjudication and will have at his or her disposal the full range of administrative and disciplinary actions.” They have even denied a top Naval officer’s religious exemption.

Patriotic military heroes are outraged by the Biden regime’s actions knowing Biden wants those patriotic Americans separated from the military.  Tucker Carlson asks if the Covid vax mandate is being used to purge Christians and traditional patriots from the military.  I believe he’s spot on.

In Part 3 of Project Veritas’ expose on Covid-19 “Vaccine,” even Justin Durant, a scientist for J&J vaccines does not recommend taking his own company’s inoculation, and he argues against children getting the jab.

Expanding Totalitarianism

In the deep south, a Louisiana Hospital system is going to dock pay from employees with unvaxxed spouses.  As my friend Marsha said, “The push to jab can be described as unhinged.”  Yes, it’s propaganda, control and subjugation.

On October 1st, Merck announced that its experimental antiviral pill reduced the risk of hospitalization or death by about 50%, and they plan to submit an application for emergency use authorization (EUA) as soon as possible.  Problem is, Preferred Primary Care Physicians said they are having no luck recruiting patients for the trial.  Wonder why…

Diane Feinstein, the 88-year-old Senator from California, has introduced a bill that requires proof of vaccination or negative Covid test for domestic flights, but of course she’s not required to have the jab, according to Biden’s exemptions, so she’s shoving a little more of her authoritarian dogma down our throats.

United Airlines is set to terminate 593 of its employees who have chosen to not comply with the company’s vaccine mandate.  This eliminates getting on another airplane for me and mine.

There’s a bill in Congress introduced by a Democrat in August of this year that would prohibit state to state air travel unless fully jabbed (probably means with the boosters too).

New York Governor Kathy Hochul, a Democrat who assumed the job after Andrew Cuomo’s resignation, announced that she is prepared to declare a state of emergency if the state’s vaccine mandate results in an unmanageable shortage of healthcare workers. The mandate, which pertains to all New York healthcare workers (as well as NY school teachers), is set to take effect on September 27th.  However, a federal judge granted a temporary restraining order.  Hochul said she’s making sure those who are fired will not receive unemployment benefits.  The state is also planning to train national guard personnel in order to deal with the expected staffing shortages.  Huh?  Are they going to take care of patients and assist in surgeries?

Sharyl Attkisson reports that 1,685 health care workers are jobless after refusing vaccine mandates — and that’s just a small sampling.  Basically, those left to care for you are jabbed and they have 251 times the viral load in their nasal passages.  Not good for those in nursing homes or hospitals.

If you haven’t read about the mRNA trials for seasonal flu shots…it’s here.  How about putting the mRNA in your lettuce and spinach?  It’s big brother’s totalitarian control; to subordinate all aspects of individual life to the authority of the state; fascism and communism combined.

In this 27-minute video, Dr. Ryan Cole explains to Del Bigtree that cancers rarely seen in young people are growing exponentially and are more serious than they’ve ever seen.  Dr. Cole states that our “T receptors” who warn of invaders who should be attacked, are being weakened and deactivated.  This allows foreign invaders to conquer rather than being wiped out allowing cancers to grow in the vaxxed.  Another video by Dr. Nathan Thompson exposes this fact with blood work from a vaxxed patient.

recently-released CDC dataset detailing provisional Covid deaths by age from January 1st, 2020 to September 15th, 2021 appear to show that less child deaths were linked to Covid in that time-frame than would have died from the flu in a typical year.  The cause of a child’s death would be 9.49 times more likely to be suicide; 8.46 times more likely to be homicide; 2.02 times more likely to be a drug overdose or alcohol poisoning; and 1.29 times more likely to be influenza.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) supposedly set precedent this summer and published an emergency Covid-19 rule in the Federal Register taking jurisdiction over and providing justification for Covid-19 being a workplace hazard for healthcare employment, even though 99.8% recover from Covid.  But this wasn’t enough for Biden, the legislative provision that passed the Budget Committee raises the fines for non-compliance 10 times higher…from $70K to $700K. This would easily bankrupt companies and effect 80 million workers.

However, The Last Refuge reports this has been another con.  OSHA was not taking any steps needed to engage with business interests to trigger the first-step in the organization of a process to initiate a rule-making process.

The fascist beat goes on.

Lawsuits

Ohio-based Attorney Thomas Renz has filed a federal lawsuit from an alleged whistleblower who claims inside knowledge of a coverup of reported deaths filed with VAERS, and now there are more.  Renz says the death rate with those who’ve taken the Covid jab is much high than originally thought.

Presenting data that he claims comes directly from the CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) database, there have been 48,465 deaths among CMS beneficiaries within 14 days of a 1st or 2nd dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.  There are about 59.4 million Americans covered by Medicare, representing 18.1% of the population, so these are staggering numbers!

He states that they chose deaths within 14 days of vaccination, because the federal health agencies are no longer counting deaths within 14 days of a COVID-19 as a death among the “vaccinated,” but among “unvaccinated.”

A “Physicians’ Declaration” produced by an international alliance of 3,000 physicians and medical scientists strongly condemns the global strategy to treat Covid, accusing policy-makers of potential “crimes against humanity” for preventing physicians from providing life-saving treatments for their patients and suppressing open scientific discussion.  The document states that “one size fits all” treatment recommendations have resulted in needless illness and death.

The new Nuremberg trials led by Dr. Reiner Feullmich and a team of over 1,000 lawyers and over 10,000 medical experts have begun legal proceedings against the CDC, WHO & the Davos Group for crimes against humanity.

Do I trust the courts?  Not likely.

Live Not by Lies

Senator Ron Johnson said we’re being lied to daily and he’s right. Biden claims we’re experiencing “a pandemic of the unvaccinated.” The Centers for Disease Control share no US data with the American people, so the Senator looked to England for the truth.  The UK reports that 63% of Delta deaths in the last 7.5 months were fully vaxxed. Dr. Peter McCullough states in this video that the UK keeps some of the best statistics.

Truth is a rare commodity in America these days.

On the day he was arrested and exiled to the West, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn wrote a short paper entitled, Live Not by Lies.  His last words before leaving his homeland urged Soviet citizens as individuals to refrain from cooperating with the regime’s lies.

He said, “And therein we find, neglected by us, the simplest, the most accessible key to our liberation: a personal nonparticipation in lies!  Even if all is covered by lies, even if all is under their rule, let us resist in the smallest way: Let their rule hold not through me!

And this is the way to break out of the imaginary encirclement of our inertness, the easiest way for us and the most devastating for the lies. For when people renounce lies, lies simply cease to exist. Like parasites, they can only survive when attached to a person.”

Václav Havel was a Czech statesman, playwright, and former political dissident, who served as the last President of Czechoslovakia from 1989 until the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1992 and then as the first President of the Czech Republic from 1993 to 2003.

Havel echoed Solzhenitsyn’s sentiments and said, “If the main pillar of the [totalitarian] system is living a lie, then it is not surprising that the fundamental threat to it is living the truth.  This is why [the truth] must be suppressed more severely than anything else.

We must commit to a non-participation in their lies.  We must live within the truth and that means seceding from the totalitarian state or county and reestablishing yourself in one that holds to freedom and liberty.

Havel says we are to live as freely and authentically as possible, to boldly express our individuality and spontaneity with its incalculability is the greatest of all obstacles to total domination over man.”

Conclusion

The choice is ours; subjugation to slavery or the cry of freedom.

Natural Immunity Trumps Getting Jabbed!

“People who recovered from prior infection and remained unvaccinated were 27 times less likely to experience symptomatic reinfection from the Delta variant when compared to those who had not been infected and received two doses of the mRNA Pfizer vaccine.” Israel study

There is growing evidence that natural immunity to Covid, and its Delta variant, is better and is longer lasting that getting jabbed.

There is growing evidence that getting double jabbed doesn’t make you immune to Covid, and its Delta variant. Here’s just one example:

Natural Immunity vs. The Jab

Laura Ramirez-Feldman in an article titled “Where does natural immunity stand in fight over vaccine mandates?” reported:

But proponents of including natural immunity in the vaccine mandates equation are also basing their argument on scientific data. They point to certain studies over the past year that have shown that natural immunity offers significant protection against reinfection. These include studies out of Cleveland Clinic and Washington University, as well as Israel.

The Israel study, however, has been the one that has received the most attention recently.

According to the 778,658-person study, which has yet to be peer-reviewed, people who recovered from prior infection and remained unvaccinated were 27 times less likely to experience symptomatic reinfection from the Delta variant when compared to those who had not been infected and received two doses of the mRNA Pfizer vaccine. The study also found that a single dose of the vaccine in people with natural immunity boosted protection against the Delta variant.

In response to the Israeli study, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the White House chief medical adviser, said natural immunity was “something that we need to sit down and discuss seriously.”

The FDA added a warning to Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines about risk of heart inflammation.

As of June, the CDC said more than 1,200 cases of heart inflammation (myocarditis or pericarditis) in young people had been reported after Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccination. More than half were after the second dose. Most of the injuries are in males under age 30.

The Covid-19 Vaccine Exposed

Growing Civil Disobedience to Getting Jabbed

The WorldTribune Staff in an article titled “More than 560,000 adverse vaccine events reported to VAERS as of Sept. 27” reported:

According to the U.S. government’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), as of Sept. 27, there were 569,294 adverse event reports associated with Covid vaccinations.

Investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson reported on Oct. 3 for Just the News that the most common reports to the VAERS system relating to the Covid vaccines are temperature-related issues (226,457), skin problems (174,793), and a category that includes movement, muscle, nerve, neuropathy, numbness, and paralysis (164,200).

“Scientists have estimated that adverse events occur at a rate many fold higher than what is reported in VAERS, since it is assumed that most adverse events are not reported through the tracking system,” Attkisson noted.

As of Sept. 27, there were 8,164 reports of deaths following the Covid vaccination.

Other common reports to the VAERS system include pain-related issues (139,395), feeling abnormal, tired or weak (139,395), injection site reactions (121,538), headaches (111,549), heart events (79,012), and lung or respiratory problems (77,976). [Emphasis added]

in an Op-Ed titled “The country with the best data shows infection rates higher among the vaccinated” states:

The idea of mandating the vaccine to protect other people is built upon a complete lie.

Whatever side of the vaccine debate you may find yourself on, it is clear that none of us predicted cases would grow exponentially a year later, when most adults are vaccinated and there is so much more built-up immunity. The evidence that cases are growing among the vaccinated is too compelling to ignore and makes the entire push for vaccination, and certainly for mandated shots, completely unmoored from reality. Isn’t it about time we start asking questions about the consequences of a leaky vaccine?

It’s time to stop calling infections among the vaccinated “breakthrough” cases. In fact, The U.K., which posts the most comprehensive granular weekly data every Thursday, shows that COVID cases per capita are more common among the vaccinated than the unvaccinated in most age groups.

“We Got Them. Fact Check This!” Attorney Thomas Renz – All new whistleblower information

Attorney Thomas Renz Releases Stunning Data from Never Before Seen Vaccine Injury/Death Tracking System

Thanks to a Whistleblower that came forth to Attorney Thomas Renz, the public is now seeing, for the first time ever, hard data from the largest database available in the U.S. to study the COVID-19 impact including deaths & injuries; The CMS Medicare Tracking System.

During an extraordinary speech at Clay Clark’s ReAwaken America Tour, Attorney Thomas Renz shocked the crowd of thousands in attendance and millions watching via livestream as he revealed:

That data from the Medicare Tracking System reveals that 19,400 people less than 80 years old have died within 14 days of receiving the COVID-19 Vaccine.

In addition, 28,065 people have died that are over the age of 80 within 14 days of receiving the Covid-19 vaccine.

The Total number of American Citizens that died within 14 days of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine is 48,465 according to hard data revealed in the Medicare Tracking System.

In July Attorney Renz Whistleblower, under penalty of perjury, stated that she estimated at least 45K people had died from the Covid-19 Vaccine. USA Today Fact Checkers and other fact checking services claimed that to be “misinformation.” Today’s revelations solidify that the “Trusted News Initiative” is actually the source of misinformation and propaganda, and that Attorney Thomas Renz Whistleblower was correct all along.

After proving that over 45K people have died from the COVID-19 vaccine, Attorney Renz then moved his attention to focus on the amount of people that are being killed in American hospitals by Dr. Anthony Fauci’s instituted protocol of Remdesivir.

Attorney Renz is also in possession of Remdesivir death data from the Medicare Tracking System that has been withheld by the government from our citizens.

The Remdesivir data reveals of the 7,960 beneficiaries prescribed Remdesivir for Covid-19 2,058 died. That is 25.9%.

46% of people died within 14 days of the Remdesivir Treatment. The Remdesivir Treatment was established in U.S. Hospitals at the direction of Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Serious adverse events were reported in 131 of the 532 patients who received Remdesivir. That is 24.6%.

Attorney Renz says ” This begs the question… Why is this the protocol in American Hospitals? Does this appear “Safe and Effective” to you?”

RENZ NURSE WHISTLEBLOWERS REVEAL TWO TIER SYSTEM OF CARE DEPENDING ON YOUR VACCINE STATUS

During Attorney Thomas Renz speech at Clay Clark’s ReAwaken America Tour in Colorado Springs, Colorado Renz also talked about 2 Whistleblower nurses that revealed to him that they have seen a 2 tier system of health care depending on the patients “vaccination status.” “The nurses revealed to me that patients that are vaccinated are getting Ivermectin, which is proven to heal people. But if you are unvaccinated, they put you on Remdesivir in the hopes that you will die” said Attorney Thomas Renz.

THE FDA IS TRACKING VACCINE DEATHS, ALL THE WHILE CLAIMING THE COVID VACCINE IS SAFE AND EFFECTIVE

Also during Attorney Renz’ speech he revealed that the FDA is actively working with CMS real-time data ( CMS Medicare database ) to gather weekly reports on Covid-19 adverse events, despite the fact that the US population is told repeatedly this vaccine is “safe and effective.” Attorney Renz says “This information has never been given to the public, and you will see why they have kept it hidden and never published. It’s very damning, and this data reveals that the FDA knew what was coming, let it happen, and thousands and thousands have died or been injured.”

During his speech Renz revealed in one state alone ( New York ) that the amount of people who experienced adverse events after the Covid shot were in the thousands. Adverse events experienced by people who got the Covid-19 shot in New York State included thousands of cardiovascular events, thousands of cases of people getting Covid, and thousands of deaths. At least 13 side effects are reported in the system. “Remember, these are “side effects” that the government, media, and social media continue to tell the public that are not happening. The mantra of “safe and effective” must stop after today’s information” says Attorney Renz.

A copy of Attorney Renz entire speech along with data from the hidden vaccine tracking system will be posted on his website at www.Renz-Law.com

Conclusion

Natalia Mittelstadt, from JusttheNews.com reports:

The European Journal of Immunology accepted a study on Sept. 24 from scientists at the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare, who studied 1,292 subjects eight months after infection for the presence of antibodies.

Their findings included 96% of subjects still carrying neutralizing antibodies and 66% with the nucleoprotein IgG antibody.

After randomly selecting 367 subjects from the original cohort who were not yet vaccinated a year following infection, the scientists found that 89% of subjects still had neutralizing antibodies, and 36% with the IgG antibody.

Subjects who had experienced a severe SARS-CoV-2 infection had higher antibody levels, anywhere from two to seven times as many antibodies as those with mild infections at least 13 months after contracting the disease. [Emphasis added]

Getting the jab is a personal choice, not one that governments at any level should mandate. Mandates are not the law. Mandates are not constitutional.

Each individual, in consultation with their doctors, are best equipped to make the decision about getting or not getting the Covid jab.

My body, my choice certainly applies to getting jabbed.

FBI: More People Killed with Fists, Feet, Than Rifles

By AWR Hawkins,, Breitbart News, 27 Sep 2021:

The FBI released its Uniform Crime Report (UCR) Monday showing that more people were killed in 2020 with fists and feet than were killed with rifles of all kinds.

The UCR shows that 454 people were killed with rifles in 2020 while 657 were killed with “personnel weapons,” which are defined as “hands, fists, feet, etc.”

The UCR figures show a similar situation was occurred in 2019, when 375 people were killed with rifles but 639 were killed with “hands, fists, feet, etc.”

In 2018 the number of people killed with “hands, fists, feet, etc.,” was more than twice the number killed with rifles of all kinds.

Breitbart News notes that the UCR also shows more than 3.5 times more people were stabbed to death in 2020 than were killed with rifles. The UCR shows that 454 people were shot and killed with rifles in 2020 while 1,732 were stabbed or hacked to death with “knives or cutting instruments.”

Book Profile: The Argument: Revolt of the Activists

The Capital Research Center (CRC) specializes in investigating how left-of-center nonprofits impact American public policy and how such groups are funded. Independent nonpartisan nonprofits can greatly influence issues that affect electoral outcomes, even without directly involving themselves in partisan politics.

CRC has published reports analyzing different categories of political spending over past election cycles, finding that aggregate revenues of selected liberal and conservative public policy 501(c)(3) nonprofits have increased since the 2006 cycle. Those increases were especially significant on the left, and CRC has traced multiple threads of this phenomenon back to roughly the 2004 cycle when President George W. Bush was re-elected despite unprecedented Democratic efforts at making him a one-term president.

A firsthand account of the multifront internecine conflict between the Democratic Party’s grassroots and establishment that characterized this era was published by journalist Matt Bai in 2007 as The Argument: Inside the Battle to Remake Democratic Politics. The book has many interesting takeaways—it’s a well-written, entertaining read—but one takeaway that may not have been fully appreciated at the time of its publication was its glimpse into a nascent swell of politically motivated funding that was beginning to be directed toward independent left-leaning nonprofits.

The events chronicled in The Argument largely take place between 2004 and 2006—an era before the Obama presidency that admittedly feels like a lifetime ago in American politics. For the newest soon-to-be voters in the 2022 cycle, the 2004 election was a lifetime ago.

The soul-searching and finger-pointing among Democrats in the shadow of that election are a dominant theme of the book. Outsider “progressives” (a term Bai notes was being intentionally employed because the word “liberal” invoked negative connotations among the public) were agitating against what they saw as a Democratic establishment dominated by Clintonian centrism and the machinations of Washington insiders. These activists were geographically diffuse, keen to adopt new methods of organizing and fundraising, and more assertively left-wing (they would say “progressive”) than many in their party’s leadership.

Much of the book’s narrative focuses on these activists and the ways that prominent Democratic politicians of various ideological dispositions interacted with them. The Argument explores the rise of MoveOn, “the group that embodied the liberal backlash against the democratic ethos of the booming 90s” and that heralded the end of “the days when political parties held a monopoly on organizing their constituents.”

Bai also had a firsthand look at another form of online activism: the “netroots” blogging world represented by Daily Kos and the politicians like Howard Dean and Ned Lamont who attracted that world’s left-wing anti-establishment views. All told, the book is an intriguing snapshot of a particularly contentious period of Democratic politics just before the ascendency of Barack Obama, who makes several appearances toward the end.

Fifteen years of political hindsight, combined with the author-s first-person perspective, make The Argument effectively a primary source history for readers in 2021. As such works age, their value increasingly lies as much in explaining subsequent trends and observations as in simply chronicling past events. Today’s readers can easily draw threads and parallels from the tribulations of the mid-2000s Democratic Party right through the presidential campaigns of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, and Donald Trump, alongside many other political developments. For The Argument, Bai had a unique insight into the development and early history of what would become one of the most important funding networks driving this development, at least on the left: the Democracy Alliance.

What Makes A Country?

A loose definition might start with “an aggregation of people sharing some or all of the same culture: language, religion, values, arts, music, sports, political organization, history, etc.” In other words, a country consists of people with a shared culture. Not everyone shares everything identically or completely, but there is a general commonality of beliefs and preferences. When such a group of people lives in a defined area under an accepted government (not necessarily a democracy) that is recognized by most of the rest of the world, it officially becomes a country.

A country has borders. Without borders, a culturally distinct group would merely be nomads or gypsies. Within its borders, a government is expected to provide both internal and external security for its citizens.

This naturally raises the questions of cross-border access and treatment of foreigners. What are a country’s legal and moral rights to deny access to outsiders or control their behavior when inside?

Before we get to those questions, it should be noted that countries with two distinct languages or religions often have problems of dominance. Even peaceful Canada has a French-speaking province that has occasionally proved problematic. Whatever benefits bilingualism may bring the country, the need for everything to be produced in two languages is inherently more complicated and expensive. When antagonistic religions are thrown into the mix, chaos is often the result. Think Muslims-Hindus in India, Shias-Sunnis in the Arab world, Chinese-Malays in Indonesia, and countries with large unassimilated indigenous populations like Bolivia.

There are counter-examples like Australia and Switzerland, of course. However, the key is assimilation. In recent years, France has tried to absorb a great many Muslims. The problem is they do not want to assimilate. They want the benefits of living in France, but they want to maintain their own separate culture. In many countries with large Arab populations, they want Sharia law to be equal to or superior to the laws of the country. The more a country gives in to such demands, the more it finds that the real goal is to change the culture of the nation to that of Muslim culture.

Australia has been the most outspoken in asserting its policy. If you want to live in Australia, be an Australian. If you think you are going to change Australia into something like your former country, go back there. In the 1500s, Christian missionaries went to Japan. They not only tried to turn the Japanese into Christians, but they also meddled in politics and tried to change Japanese culture. The Government responded by outlawing Christianity and crucifying a lot of Christians.

The United States has always been unusually welcoming of strangers. If you come to America legally and strive to become an American, embracing its culture (even while preserving some of the more positive characteristics of your previous culture), you are likely to fit in and do as well as your talents permit.

America likes to call itself a melting pot. This is true, but only where newcomers try to fit in. In 1960 I went to graduate school in Austin, Texas. Initially, I was just a “damnyankee”. There were no problems until I was invited to attend Southern Baptist church meetings. Everyone was very nice and very encouraging. But when it became apparent that I was not interested in becoming a member, I was clearly an outsider thereafter. There was no overt discrimination, but I felt less “inclusivity” than before.

There is nothing wrong with being an outsider, but it does not justify nasty behavior. However, not being “inside” can easily lead to wrongful exclusion. When someone has voluntarily chosen to be an outsider, he has less validity to a claim of being excluded from insider activities. When I was a young man, I was employed by an actuarial firm that operated in a very collegial fashion. At some point, we hired an Orthodox Jewish actuary. He was competent and did satisfactory work, but he held himself apart from the rest of us, as is often the case with the Orthodox. This was despite repeated attempts to include him in various activities and involve him in team projects. Eventually, we gave up. His work life must have been very lonely, but that was his choice. After a year or so, he departed, probably feeling underappreciated.

The Apostles of diversity and inclusivity completely miss the reality of the importance of fitting in. Personally, I do not care about the color of someone’s skin, their ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, accent, etc. If we have enough things in common to form a relationship, the superficial things are (or should be) immaterial.

On the other hand, if someone chooses to emphasize differences, then I am less likely to try to build a relationship, especially if they are insistent that their way is the right way and mine is either wrong or is evidence of racism or some other “ism”.  I have friendships with people as diverse as Indians and Italians, Japanese and Chileans. My criteria are intelligence, integrity, and no exaggerated sense of self-importance.

OK, That is just me. What about countries? It seems to me that if a recognized country chooses to exclude “others” from its boundaries, that is its right, regardless of reasons. It may choose for moral or practical reasons to admit foreigners, but it is at its discretion as to numbers, characteristics, requirements, etc. If they are to have some or all of the privileges of citizenship, then why not require them to learn the language? Without it, they will always be several steps behind. Government funding for teaching English as a second language makes more sense than many welfare handouts to foreigners.

I think we should discourage ethnic enclaves. Shipping a boatload of Somalis to Minnesota may give them some comfort over the short term, but it discourages their fitting into the American culture and values, and in some cases leads to enough political power to send representatives to Washington whose focus is on deconstructing our culture and replacing it with that of another people.

I am not picking on Somali’s. I don’t think I have ever met one. The United States clearly needs immigrants, as our birth rate is below the replacement level. Plainly stated, without immigrants, our social safety net will collapse because there will be an insufficient number of workers to support those receiving benefits.

The question of what immigrants to admit (and on what basis) is largely political. One of the major problems in Israel is that unrestricted immigration by Arabs would eventually lead to an Arab majority and a Jewish minority. Do the Israelis have a right to preserve what is a Jewish theocracy from those who would prefer a Muslim theocracy? Personally, I answer in the affirmative. I think the Jews have a right to maintain the culture and country they have created. It has nothing to do with not liking Muslims. The question that needs to be asked is where do the outsiders get a right to change the culture that is in place? It wouldn’t make any difference if it were militant Buddhists or Baptists seeking to overturn the existing way of life of the country.

Again, speaking personally, I am greatly opposed to theocracies for many reasons. But if the Jews in Israel want a theocracy, it is their country. If Muslims in Arab countries want to live under Sharia law, that is their right, however much we may find it distasteful.  The international community of nations has the right and the duty to protest if the government of a theocracy systematically persecutes non-believers. But if a government mistreats its own citizens (or a segment thereof), as for example the Taliban in Afghanistan, that is the problem of the citizens of that country to sort out. The same can be said of Iran, North Korea, Russia, etc. It is not the job of the U.S. to overthrow governments simply because we are opposed to aspects of their cultures we find repugnant. But others will disagree. Some want the U.S. to be like the old Cavalry heroically charging over the hill; others see the U.S. as having a moral duty to mold the whole world into some ideal image that even we do not live up to.

But what about back home? Where do immigrants derive the right to the benefits of living in this country? Some would argue that those fleeing persecution have a moral right, with no exceptions. Surely, there are limits to the sacrifices citizens may be asked to make in order to relieve the suffering of others. This seems more a matter of individual morals and consciences than a purely political question.

While most people are willing to help the persecuted, I question whether anyone has the right to demand access to a friendlier country simply because things are very bad at home. Everyone desires a better life, but how does that create a right to live in a more prosperous country? Where there is real persecution in the home country, there is also the question of whose responsibility it is to change things, and under what circumstances? It is dreadful that Muslim countries treat women so abominably, but it only becomes someone else’s problem to solve under the theory that the world is merely a global village, an air-headed concept concocted by dreamers.

In Aristophanes’ great play, Lysistrata, the women of ancient Greece got their men to stop their ruinous fighting by denying them sex. I wonder if that play has ever been performed in Arabic? The idea that women are always helpless in the face of more powerful males is exaggerated. Modern examples of women dominating men stretch from Margaret Thatcher to Nancy Pelosi. I believe it is a mistake to always task men with saving women in every situation. Women demanding both equality and protection from those they claim equality with just doesn’t compute. I am not talking about stopping a man who is beating his wife. That is different from sending troops because the men in one culture don’t treat their women as equals. Afghan women surely have the right to a better life, but Americans don’t have an obligation to provide it.

Lapid On Gaza – Stupid Is As Stupid Does

Lapid’s recent Gaza policy proposal is just one more display in an appalling catalogue of his imbecility-cum-ignorance, which, in light of his electoral success, is—in itself—a grave indictment of the Israeli voter

Two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity; and I’m not sure about the universeattributed to Albert Einstein.

I used to have so many opinions before I learned the facts—Yair Lapid, New York Times, May 19, 2013.

When it comes to Gaza, don’t dream about demilitarization or economic miraclesAaron David Miller, senior fellow at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace & veteran State Dept. Mid-East negotiator, in Foreign Policy, July 22, 2014.

Almost eight years ago, much to his chagrin, I wrote an Op-Ed on the then-Finance Minister, Yair Lapid.

It began:

Yair Lapid is the most dangerous man in Israeli politics today, a good-looking, charismatic, overconfident fool, an affable ignoramus with no intellectual gravitas, devoid of moral principle, but with the gift of a silver tongue and the unmistakable – and largely undisguised – penchant for demagoguery and dictatorship.”

Sadly, this caveat is no less relevant today than it was then—arguably, more so.

Confounding “cause” & “effect”

Thus, earlier this month, at an international conference on counter-terrorism, Yair Lapid, now Foreign Minister, floated a policy proposal for dealing with the perennial problem of Gaza.

Although there was scarcely anything new about the idea, appearing to be little more than “old goods in an equally old wrapping”, it garnered considerable media attention.

Depending on one’s perspective of Israel’s mainstream media, this is either somewhat surprising…or preeminently predictable.

Unsurprisingly, the parameters of the Lapid proposal were entirely within the guidelines of accepted wisdom on Gaza, prescribing that, somehow, the enduring violence in, and from, the luckless enclave is due to the poor economic conditions with which it is afflicted. Of course, little reflection is required to grasp that precisely the opposite is true. After all, in Gaza, it is not penury that begets the violence, but the violence that begets the penury.

But then, sadly,  reflection does not appear to be Lapid’s core expertise. After all, his public appearances have been afflicted by some of the most embarrassing faux pas, mortifying gaffes, and bumbling blunders—which, for some reason, have left his public image largely unscathed. But more on that mystifying enigma—and its disconcerting implications—a little later.

Stating the painfully obvious

But for the moment, let’s focus on the substance—for want of a better word—of the Lapid initiative for quelling the violence emanating from, and fermented in, Gaza.

In mid-September, the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs put out a 2000 word statement, setting out the parameters of Lapid’s alleged “vision”. In it, Lapid states the painfully obvious: “The policy Israel has pursued up until now hasn’t substantially changed the situation… We need to change direction.”

Accordingly, he asks: “What should we do?”—and answers: “… we need to start a large, multi-year process of economy for security.

In Lapid’s view, his initiative is a “more realistic version of what in the past was called rehabilitation for demilitarization.”

In an attempt to forestall any criticism, which he apparently foresaw, he preemptively parried:

There will be experts who tell you that this plan has no chance. The answer is – we never tried. For too long the only two options on the table have been conquering Gaza, or never-ending rounds of violence…[A] serious proposal of “economy for security” in Gaza has never before been put on the table”.

Lapid is wrong—on both counts!!

Unoriginal and unrealistic

Firstly, his proposal is hardly original—i.e. “we have never tried [it].”

On the contrary, it has been raised repeatedly in the past—at least as far back as 2014–chiefly by failed and forgotten politicians. It was in  2014, that former Defense Minister, Shaul Mofaz, suggested a financial package of $50 billion, together with independent seaport access. Likewise, several other ministers, including former Justice Minister Tzipi Livni, and former senior security officials such as ex-Shin Bet director, Yuval Diskin, have incorporated this notion in their political declarations and speeches.

Indeed, in August 2014, Lapid himself touted the idea, calling for ensuring that the economic “rehabilitation [of Gaza]takes place alongside [its]demilitarization.”

Although I have many points of disagreement with senior Carnegie fellow, David Aaron Miller, he has written a particularly incisive critique, entitled The Endgame in Gaza. In it, he derisively dismisses the attempts to resolve the Gaza question by promises of economic development in exchange for Hamas laying down its weapons. Wistfully, he muses: “I wish I had a dollar for every time some well-intentioned soul approached me with some new Marshall Plan for Gaza or the Middle East.”

“Meanwhile back on Planet Earth…”

Secondly, Lapid’s proposal is not even remotely “realistic”.

Indeed, Miller, somewhat acerbically, prefaces his review of the inherent deficiencies of Lapid’s “more-goodies-for-less-guns” school of thought with a sardonic barb: “Meanwhile back on Planet Earth..”, thus relegating them to the realms of ridicule.

Detailing the reasons why none of these schemes seem even “remotely possible”, Miller points out that they call on Hamas to repudiate its very raison d’etre. He writes: “Hamas would have to abandon its 35-year reason for being, give up armed struggle, accept Palestinian Authority rule, and become a political party without achieving the end of Israel’s occupation, let alone statehood.”

But not only ideological obstacles render the idea of “rehabilitation for demilitarization” unworkable. Thus, as Miller explains:

Someone would also have to supervise the area close to the Israel-Gaza border inside the Strip in order to ensure that Hamas didn’t continue to tunnel…

But, he cautions, to ensure that,

An acceptable international force would have to be organized to identify, collect, and destroy Hamas’s weapons. All other smaller resistance groups, including Islamic Jihad and the Popular Resistance Committees, would need to be defanged…[and] the international community — in an uncharacteristic display of focus and commitment — would need to step up with tons of money and technical assistance.”

In assessing the feasibility of such an outcome, Miller is unequivocally caustic and blunt: “In other words, forget it.”

Plumbing the depths of absurdity

But the absurdity of Lapid’s proposal goes beyond that outlined by Miller.

Indeed, he suggests that Israel initiate the undertaking of major infrastructure projects within the Gaza Strip, not only without engaging Hamas, but to undermine its stature in Gaza!!!

Thus, he underscores:

I’ll say it clearly – this isn’t a proposal to negotiate with Hamas. Israel doesn’t speak to terror organizations who want to destroy us.”

However, beyond vague references to the “international community,” he offers no clue as to who would comprise the stout-hearted entity that is to challenge the brutal Islamist terror group, indeed goad it, by overtly trying to erode its public support.

Accordingly, he asserts:

The electricity system will be repaired, gas will be connected, a water desalination plan[t] will be built, significant improvements to the health care system and…rebuilding of housing and transport infrastructure will take place…

Then, oblivious of prevailing realities on the ground, he blithely prescribes:

The international community will use its influence over Hamas [Yeah, right! – MS] to assist in the efforts to stop Hamas arming itself. It will work to strengthen efforts to prevent smuggling and an economic oversight mechanism will be put into place to prevent resources going to Hamas.

And then, with unbounded—and equally unfounded—optimism, he determines: “In exchange, Hamas will commit to long term quiet”.

Lapid in la-la land?

Lapid disclosed:

The purpose of the process is to create stability on both sides of the border”…the people of Gaza need to know that Hamas terrorism is what’s standing between them and a normal life.

According to him:

Advancing a formula of economy for security will force Hamas to explain to the residents of Gaza why they live in conditions of poverty, scarcity, violence, and high unemployment, without hope.”

He insisted,

We need to tell Gazans [that] Hamas is leading you to ruin. No one will come and invest real money… in a place from which Hamas fires and which Israel strikes on a regular basis.”

Accordingly, he urged:

It’s time to put the pressure on Hamas. It’s time to cause the residents of Gaza to pressure Hamas because they understand what they are missing out on as a result of terrorism and understand how much they stand to gain if that terrorism stops.”

So there you have it, the purported “rationale” of Lapid’s template for a masterly stroke of statesmanship for dealing with Gaza in a nutshell: Assemble an unspecified force to disarm Hamas—or at least curtail is armaments and their use against Israel, thereby effectively annulling its very raison d’etre—while initiating large economic projects, whose specific purpose is to denude the influence of the Islamist organization.

Gee, what could possibly go wrong ??

Two terribly tenuous tenets?

Lapid’s regurgitated formula rests on two terribly tenuous tenets.

The first is that, as a collective, the Palestinians can be lured into some kind of peace arrangement with Israel—or at least, into durable non-belligerence—by the promise of enhanced economic well-being.

The second is that Hamas rule is maintained only—or at least chiefly—by force of arms and lacks significant public support—and thus, could be displaced by wide public dissent if seen/portrayed as an impediment to the achievement of enhanced living standards.

Neither premise is valid.

As for public support for Hamas, a recent Palestinian poll is starkly unequivocal! “It states: “If new presidential and parliamentary elections were to take place today, Hamas would do relatively well compared to Fatah…

According to the poll’s findings:

This is particularly true for a presidential election…Most importantly for Fatah, findings show a significant increase in the demand for Abbas’[s] resignation, with almost 80% making the demand, an unprecedent[ed]… finding…”

But if there is little sign of eroding public support for Hamas in favor of the Fatah-dominated Palestinian Authority (PA), there is similarly scant evidence that the prospect of improved economic conditions is likely to generate such erosion.

Terribly tenuous (cont.)

Indeed, further findings of the same poll reflect realities no less discordant with Lapid’s pivotal notion of the prospective allure of higher living standards becoming a lever to promote anti-Hamas sentiments.

Thus, when asked to designate what they considered the most vital Palestinian goals and the main problems confronting Palestinians today, respondents gave the following answers:

44% believe that the first most vital Palestinian goal should be to end Israeli occupation in the areas occupied in 1967 and build a Palestinian state in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip with East Jerusalem as its capital. By contrast, 32% believe the first most vital goal should be to obtain the right of return of refugees to their 1948 towns and villages, 12% believe that the first and most vital goal should be to build a pious or moral individual and a religious society, one that applies all Islamic teachings and 10% believes it should be to establish a democratic political system that respects freedoms and rights of Palestinians”.

Significantly, there is nary a mention of a desire for a better economy, the very lynchpin of the Lapid plan, and which purportedly would induce public opposition to Hamas, paving the way to the demilitarization of the Gaza Strip and the cessation of terror attacks from within it.

Hmmmm!

Lapid mimicking Liberman

Given all of the above, it is hardly surprising that the Lapid plan was roundly rejected by Hamas. Thus, Hamas spokesperson Hazim Qasim stated bluntly:

The enemy has resorted to various proposals…to weaken the resistance, and they did not succeed. Its resort to such a plan indicates its inability to deal with the resistance and our Palestinian people.

However, it was also the intended beneficiary of the scheme, the Fatah-dominated PA, that condemned it as gravely misguided. Thus, PA Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh castigated it as essentially irrelevant: “Gaza’s problem is political [i.e. not economic-MS]. It is the same problem that all of Palestine faces, including Jerusalem. There must be a serious political process based [o]n international law, to end the occupation and lift the blockade… this would make the reconstruction of Gaza possible and sustainable.”

In other words—as a collective—economics is subordinate to, and contingent on, politics.

But, of course, had Lapid not been afflicted with such ignorance and arrogance; had he not been imbibed with such narcissistic desire to appear original/innovative/creative, he might have realized that four years previously, his coalition partner, one Avigdor “Yvette” Liberman, had raised an almost identical proposal—based on precisely the same elements as stipulated by Lapid. Indeed, if anything, it was even more explicit!

In it, Liberman proposed turning Gaza “into the Singapore of the Middle East” by building a seaport and an airport and by creating industrial zones that would help create 40,000 jobs, if Hamas agreed to demilitarisation and to dismantling the tunnel and rocket systems it has built up. Sound familiar??..

The Hamas response was swift. Mahmoud al-Zahar, a senior Hamas official, dismissed it derisively, sneering, “If we wanted to turn Gaza into Singapore, we would have done it ourselves. We do not need favors from anyone.

Demilitarization: A futile fetish

The fetish with the demilitarization of Gaza is both timeworn and futile.

Indeed, it has ostensibly been part and parcel of the Oslowian “peace-process” since its inception.

Thus, those who suggest demilitarization of Gaza today, are apparently oblivious of the fact that Gaza is already supposed to be demilitarized under the Oslo Accords, and they give little clue as to why future demilitarization is likely to be any more effective than in the past—or by whom it will be enforced and how such enforcement is to be effected.

Moreover, demilitarization advocates give scant hint as to how a demilitarized regime (Hamas or otherwise) could contend with radicalized and extreme adversaries (domestic—such as Iranian-backed groups like the PIJ—or foreign—such as ISIS-affiliated jihadis in Sinai). Could the unspoken intention be that the IDF will be called on to provide security to the demilitarized rulers of Gaza? Surely not!

Israel’s chief diplomat: A snapshot?

Israel must now come to terms with the perturbing fact that the man charged with the conduct of the nation’s foreign policy is someone with a long and documented history of poor judgment and appalling ignorance, coupled with commensurate arrogance.

After all, Lapid is on record as referring to the 16th-century Polish astronomer, Nicolaus Copernicus (1473-1543) as a great classical Greek scholar, several centuries BCE, and to Swiss sculptor, Alberto Giacometti, who was born and died in the 20th century (1901-1966) as a Renaissance period artist.

He was apparently unaware of the differences between “forefathers” (i.e. ancestors) and “four fathers” (i.e. one more than three), or of the fact that the US constitution was not written exclusively by one man, John Adams. Likewise, he claimed that Yom Kippur—the Day of Atonement—generally considered the holiest day in the Jewish calendar—only dated from the Spanish Inquisition, rather than from the time of Moses and the Israelites exodus from Egypt.

More recently, towards the end of 2020, he sneered at Netanyahu’s promise to provide a large-scale supply of COVID-19 vaccines, even accusing him of blatantly lying to the public. According to Lapid, Israel would be last in line for vaccines, behind dozens of Western countries.

Of course, within weeks, Lapid was proven utterly wrong on every count…

With Israeli diplomacy in such “capable hands”, what is there to worry about?

After all, what you vote for is what get!

PODCAST: GOP Voters to ‘Overtake Democrats’ in Florida

I joined Matt Boyle from Breitbart News to discuss the Florida GOP’s efforts on the ground to turn Florida into a Republican state (in terms of voter registration) for the first time in our state’s history.

Registered Republican voters are poised to overtake registered Democrats in the Sunshine State, Vice Chairman of the Florida GOP Christian Ziegler told Breitbart News Saturday.

By: Katherine Hamilton

According to Ziegler, who has played a pivotal role on the ground getting Republicans registered in the state, there were 700,000 more Democrats than Republicans in 2008. By 2016, when former President Donald Trump took office, Democrats only maintained a 320,000 voter lead.

“And then today, we’re at about 20,000 more registered Democrats than Republicans,” he said, noting the narrowing gap between parties in the state. “So you’re seeing that gap go from 700,000, 320,000, to today about 20,000. So we’re going to overtake the Democrats. This is something that we’ve been working hard on as a state party.”

“We get a lot of people that flip,” he noted, crediting Florida’s shift, in part to the Democrat Party. He said the party’s insistence on becoming more extreme and socialistic, especially during the pandemic, is pushing people from blue states to red states — such as Florida — in search of freedom. He also sees more independent voters stepping out and choosing to vote red, as Democrats continue to push their luck with their leftist agenda.

“The socialism that they push does not play well in South Florida. The “Defund the Police” message that they pushed, and the anti-military, anti-law enforcement, you know positions that they’ve taken, does not play well in the I-4 corridor,” he said. “And then the full attack on parental rights, and families, and culture, and religion doesn’t play well on the panhandle.”

Another factor bringing people south, according to Ziegler, is the state’s leadership.

“It’s interesting. When people moved to Florida for decades, all we’ve heard is ‘I’m moving because of the sunshine and the weather,’” he said. “And now the top thing that I’m hearing is ‘I’m moving because number 1: the freedom, and number 2: because of who your governor is.’”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has risen among the ranks of Republican leadership in the country and often sets himself up as a foil to President Joe Biden and Democrat governor’s in other states. During the height of the pandemic, DeSantis took a more individualistic approach compared to some Democrat governors, many of whom locked down their states for months and kept children home from school — something Ziegler described as “frankly tyrannical.”

“They’re coming down to Florida, and they are realizing they do not need to put up with big government,” he said. “It’s like a perfect storm for us in terms of flipping the state.”

The influx of new residents actually caused Florida to gain a congressional seat, which will boost the state’s sway even more in national politics. Simultaneously, California, New York, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia lost seats — and in California’s case, for the first time in state history.

“The latest stats from snntv.com indicate that nearly 1000 people move here every day and many are coming from northern states like New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. According to move.org, Florida was the most moved to state in 2020,” Florida television station Fox4 reported in August.

Ziegler called DeSantis the “greatest attraction to the state,” which is opposite to what Democrats largely say of his leadership. Ziegler said the smears are an effort to slow DeSantis down before he has the chance to run for president of the United States one day, a political move heavily speculated in conservative circles.

“He has a spine, and that spine is strong. He’s standing up real tall, and he’s leading the fight — and he’s not afraid to take on fights,” he said.

Overall, Ziegler said he believes Democrats, “both locally and nationally” are fearful of what a “ruby red” Florida — the “swing states of the swing states”  — could mean for their agenda going forward.

“It’s going to be historic. For the first time ever in the State of Florida, we’re going to have more registered Republicans than Democrats, and that’s terrifying the Democrat Party both locally and nationally. I love watching them terrified, so it’s a lot of fun to be on the ground doing that,” he said.

The Parents’ Rebellion

Robert Royal: Politicians are backing Critical Race Theory and LGBTQ initiatives in schools. If you’re still sending your kids to such schools, either get them out or get involved.

Terry McAuliffe, the once and (possibly) future governor of Virginia, said something during a campaign debate last week that surprised many of us who thought we couldn’t be surprised anymore by American politics: “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”

Now, in America, States and specific locales run schools. The Constitution gives the Federal government no authority over education (despite Jimmy Carter’s creation of a Department of Education, which spends almost a quarter trillion dollars annually).

You could argue that parents and other voters in a given jurisdiction have already expressed their preferences by selecting mayors, school boards, etc. But as in any democratic context, that doesn’t mean those authorities then exist in a realm beyond criticism – or even removal – if parents who are voters and taxpayers are outraged by their performance.

Catholic Social Teaching also maintains that “Parents have the first responsibility for the education of their children.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church,  2223) McAuliffe graduated from Bishop Ludden High School in Syracuse N.Y., the Catholic University of America, and the Georgetown Law Center. But, it appears, he remains untouched by that principle.

He wasn’t really speaking of American practice or Catholic principle in the recent debate. He was trying to signal to several progressive constituencies that he’s with them. The politics of the schools in Virginia have become so toxic lately that explosions were inevitable. And he’s made clear which side he’s on.

Two issues in particular have given rise to heated – almost insurrectionary – Virginia school board meetings in recent months. First, an entirely Democrat board in Fairfax Virginia (where this column is being written) has been vigorously promoting Critical Race Theory (CRT). Not exploring, not debating, promoting.

It went so far as to pay $20,000 to Ibram X. Kendi, one of CRT’s architects, for a mere 45-minute Zoom lecture followed by 15  minutes of questions. Over $300 a minute as critics pointed out – while schools constantly plead poverty. Kendi is famous for arguing that past discrimination against blacks can only be remedied by present discrimination against whites, a stance he and others call “anti-racism.”

No surprise, then, that parents, including some black parents, were furious about this reverse racism masquerading as justice, schools teaching children that they are “racist” merely because they are white.

More recently, controversy broke out over two books – Lawn Boy and Gender Queer – that portray sexually explicit “homoerotic” acts, one showing a boy about to fellate an older man. The Fairfax board temporarily removed the books from school libraries and appointed a committee to study whether the material is “pornographic.” The politics may force the committee to do the right thing, but today’s librarians are not the bluenoses of yesteryear. The American Library Association “honored” both books as having “special appeal to young adults, ages 12 through 18.” (Is 12 “young adult” now for sexual purposes?)

Democratic politics is a process by which we debate how to order our lives together. As such, it demands a commitment to certain basic principles, not least that we respect the opinions of others even as we try to live with one another. And that means often not pushing conflicts into public spaces, where live-and-let-live then becomes impossible.

For all the talk these days of “diversity,” the term does not really mean tolerating the widest possible range of people. It more typically means privileging favored liberal groups – gays, trans, “people of color” – even if impartiality has to be discarded to do so. The most radical division, of course, is between the roughly half the nation that still follows Christian precepts and the half who see those precepts, in varying ways, as biased and even as hate speech.

Still, any sane person can see that racism – including reverse racism – and homoerotic pornography – like heterosexual pornography – are outside of true civic dialogue, however politically correct they may be in how they present themselves. It’s best to keep them out of the state’s hands – just as we don’t want the nightmare of the state teaching religion.

McAuliffe was appealing to those constituencies who want the current emphasis on CRT and LGBTQ interests to prevail in schools. Parents who oppose this imposition are not trying to tell schools “what they should teach.” That’s a red herring. Parents know quite well – it’s why they send their children to government schools – that teachers there know better than they do themselves how to teach students at various grade levels about mathematics, science, geography, reading and writing, and many other subjects. That’s their prerogative.

The protest stems from their teaching a reverse racism instead of the older American ideal of equality before the law. And, at an even more fundamental level, it arises from not just a discussion of current sexual mores, but a deliberate challenge to religious traditions.

I don’t know if the recent parents’ rebellion will succeed. Terry McAuliffe is clearly betting that it won’t. He signaled the other day to progressive school boards, teachers, diversity consultants, and media that he’s their guy, not his opponent, Glenn Youngkin.

If he prevails, it will be the parents’ fault. Over two decades ago, my own two oldest children were in a Fairfax high school. The county began a sex-ed program that was objectionable – but parents could opt out. We did. But in an area of the country with a highly educated and politically engaged population, and many conservatives as well as liberals, only two students opted out: my daughter and the son of one of Chuck Colson’s vice presidents at Prison Fellowship. Most parents, I’m afraid, just want their kids to fit in.

The stakes are even higher now and parents are motivated in several states. But the rebellion will have to become orders of magnitude larger to succeed. If you’re still sending your kids to state-run schools, for whatever reason, either get them out or get involved. If you don’t, you can’t complain that the sexual revolutionaries, anti-racist consultants, and other radicals are ruining our children and our lives.

Poll: Majority of Trump Voters Want Red States to Secede from Blue States

By: Breitbart News, October 3, 2021:

When the survey asked voters who supported then-candidate Joe Biden in 2020, 41 percent agreed with the same statement, and 18 percent strongly agreed with the statement.

“The divide between Trump and Biden voters is deep, wide, and dangerous. The scope is unprecedented, and it will not be easily fixed,” UVA Center for Politics Director Larry J. Sabato said.

The majority of both sets of voters agreed that someone voting for a candidate from the opposing party is disloyal to the people they care about: 54 percent for Trump voters and 52 percent for Biden voters.

The poll also revealed that over 40 percent of voters in both parties favor abolishing the checks and balances built into the federal government and giving the president greater control: 44 percent for Trump voters and 46 percent for Biden voters.

However, over 75 percent of both parties also agreed with the statement that Americans who support the opposite party present a “clear and present danger to the American way of life.”

“In order to figure out ways to bridge these divides, we need to understand not just the divides themselves, but also understand the ways in which we can, together, move forward to reach common ground. This project helps us do both,” Larry Schack of Project Home Fire said.

The poll was taken from July 22 to August 4 with the help of InnovateMR — an industry-leading marketing research data collection firm — to collect data from a series of questions.

There were 2,002 2020 voters who were asked questions. They were divided equally between 1,001 Trump voters from 2020 and 1,001 Biden voters from 2020. There is a margin of error from this survey of +/- 2.2 percent.

Biden’s ‘Evacuation’ Was a Taliban Human Trafficking Scheme

The Biden administration is covering up its final crime in Afghanistan.

After Biden evacuated tens of thousands of Afghan “translators”, refugee resettlement groups are desperately looking for translators to translate to the translators.

Why do Afghan translators, who were supposed to be able to translate from English to their native language, need help from translators?

It’s because they’re not translators.

In the last two years, Front Page Magazine ran multiple articles like How the ‘Interpreter’ Scam Brought 75,000 Iraqis and Afghans to America and ‘Saving Afghan Interpreters’ is a Scam That Would Bring 100,000 Afghans to U.S. exposing the “translator” scam. Now tens of thousands of Afghans are arriving in this country and they need translators because they don’t speak English.

As I previously pointed out, there were more Afghan “translators” applying for visas than there were American soldiers for them to translate for. But the vast majority of SIV visa applicants were never translators. The number of actual translators, Afghans embedded with U.S. forces who risked their lives by working in the field, was miniscule and was its own special category.

But by the end, almost any Afghan who worked for any U.S. organization could apply for a visa.

Biden’s disastrous Afghanistan retreat made that existing scam so much worse because he didn’t evacuate the approved SIV visa holders who might have actually worked for the U.S.

State Department sources have said that the majority of SIVs were actually left behind.

The Biden administration claims to have evacuated 124,000 people, of them only 5,500 Americans, from Afghanistan. 60,000 have been brought into the United States. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas admitted that only 1,800 are SIV holders, another 8,000 are citizens or have green cards.

That leaves over 50,000 Afghans who were just brought here with no legal basis.

And there are tens of thousands of “evacuated” Afghans who might still be brought here.

According to Mayorkas, the “balance of that population are individuals whose applications have not yet been processed for approval who may qualify as SIVs and have not yet applied, who qualify or would qualify—I should say—as P-1 or P-2 refugees who have been employed by the United States government in Afghanistan and are otherwise vulnerable Afghan nationals, such as journalists, human rights advocates, etc.”

Mayorkas describes bringing a whole lot of people who “might” qualify as SIVs, if they were to apply for them, who “would” qualify for P-1 and P-2 visas: categories that took the existing translator scam and turned it into a free-for-all and allowed virtually anyone to qualify.

The Biden administration evacuated all these planeloads of “journalists” and “human rights advocates” who immediately began sexually assaulting some of the girls they were trafficking.

Two Afghan refugees at Fort McCoy have already been charged, one for sexually assaulting two minors, and another for beating his wife who alleged that he “beat me many times in Afghanistan to the point I lost vision in both eyes.”

The wife also told a translator “that nine women have been killed since getting to Fort McCoy and that she would be the tenth.” There’s been no confirmation of this, but even well before these two criminal cases, anonymous officials at Fort McCoy were warning that “older men were admitted together with young girls they claimed as ‘brides’ or otherwise sexually abused.”

That’s strange behavior for “human rights activists”.

The human rights activists that the United States funded in Kabul were largely middle-aged women who didn’t wear burkas. We’ve seen and heard almost nothing from any of them at Fort McCoy or anywhere else in the resettlement system. Some have remained in Afghanistan and are risking their lives by courageously organizing protests against the Taliban.

They’re not raping children in Wisconsin.

The Afghan evacuees lean heavily toward “military age males” and older men with young girls. The women in those families that have come through tend to wear burkas and appear fearful.

Whoever the hell these people are, they’re not “human rights activists” and “journalists”.

Nor are they translators since most of them need translators and few have SIV visas.

The question no one asked Mayorkas is why the vast majority of SIV visa holders never got on board those planes, but people who he thinks “might” qualify did.

What process could have possibly resulted in such a strange outcome?

The answer comes in two damning parts.

Kabul embassy personnel had tainted the pool of applicants by sending out “electronic credentials”. State Department officials claimed that the passes were widely distributed by the applicants and that soon everyone had them and was demanding access to the airport.

“Within an hour, everyone in the crowd had that pass,” a senior official claimed.

He noted that, “every credential we tried to provide electronically was immediately disseminated to the widest possible pool,”

And while that might explain why a lot of people showed up who weren’t qualified, but were waving credentials, it doesn’t explain why so few of those who were actually qualified made it into the airport and onto a plane. The only explanation is that they were deliberately kept out.

The Biden administration outsourced security to the Taliban, which passed it along to checkpoints manned by the Haqqani Network which is allied with Al Qaeda. Biden officials provided the Taliban and Haqqanis with lists of qualified people they were supposed to admit.

And yet the Taliban repeatedly prevented some Afghans from getting to the airport while allowing others to make it through. They did so regardless of the official credentials.

The media reported on this behavior but treated it as random sadism or malice. It’s not.

The Taliban were experts at cashing in on the American presence in Afghanistan. At one point the Jihadis were making more money from “taxing” contractors working for us than they did from opium. There was no chance that the Taliban would leave all the money to be made from providing access to the evacuation flights on the table. And there’s no reason to think they did.

An Australian Financial Review columnist reported that, “Taliban fighters are allowing people to pass through if they pay thousands of dollars in bribes.”

That was likely only the tip of the iceberg.

The distribution of electronic credentials was deliberately tainted in the pipeline and the Taliban controlled access to the Kabul airport to keep out legitimate SIV visa holders while allowing the tens of thousands of Afghans who were illegitimately evacuated to bribe their way in.

This wasn’t an evacuation: it was a massive Taliban human trafficking scheme.

The Taliban didn’t just cash in on all the reconstruction projects and the weapons left behind, they undoubtedly made a fortune from every seat in Biden’s Kabul airlift.

Now that tens of thousands of Afghans are here, they won’t be leaving. They can’t be deported and whether or not the “parolees” qualify for an SIV or P-2 visa is a mere technicality.

The truly explosive question is whether the Taliban just cashed in on the usual corruption in Afghanistan, or if they got any Al Qaeda or ISIS terrorists into the evacuation pipeline?

Did any of the Taliban grab the chance to get their own family members into the airport?

Probably.

Sources have said that 0.5% of Afghan evacuees have been flagged for terror ties. That’s a high percentage for “translators” and “human rights activists”. Some of the flags were reportedly triggered by terrorist family ties. In a tribal and clan society, Taliban and Al Qaeda family members are extremely unlikely to be working as translators or human rights activists.

Beyond just getting family members into the evacuation pipeline, did the Taliban get actual terrorists into the United States. Probably. But it’ll take us years and bodies to find out.

Biden and his administration have treated the Kabul airlift as a massive triumph, when it was actually the final act of a disaster that has brought rapists and terrorists to America.

The “translators” need translators, children are being sexually assaulted and women are being beaten before the refugees have even left Fort McCoy. Afterward things will get much worse.

Untold billions in taxpayer money will be squandered on resettling the beneficiaries of the Taliban’s human trafficking scheme. The Afghans will be signed up for every possible welfare program and a fortune will be spent just on translating for the “translators” at resettlement agencies, government agencies, schools, hospitals, and the local police.

More money will be spent on dealing with their abuses through the criminal justice system.

The SIV holders and their families who were left behind in Afghanistan, but who manage to eventually make it over here, will also have to be resettled, doubling our refugee load.

And then the terrorist plots will begin.

The Kabul airlift wasn’t heroic: it was a bleak farce in which the Biden administration allowed the Taliban to select who got on the planes. And then it’s shocked that the Afghans whom the Taliban chose are not the SIV visa recipients that were on the list, but a whole other crowd.

It will take us decades to discover exactly who are the Afghans that Biden brought to America.

The Biden administration will cling to the myth of its heroic airlift by retroactively legitimizing the tens of thousands of Afghans to cover up the final installment of its humiliating disaster. And the Taliban, once again, will have the last laugh as their human trafficking scheme pays off.

Human trafficking isn’t only for Mexican cartels, the Taliban likely made a fortune trafficking rapists and terrorists, and anyone who could pay, to Kabul airport. The old men raping young girls, the military age men scowling at the camera, and all the best of Afghanistan is here now.

And the Biden administration will cover up its final crime in Afghanistan.

Texas Moves To Ban Social Media Banning

On September 9, Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed HB 20, a law designed to keep social media companies with more than 50 million subscribers from blocking users whose viewpoints the company disapproves of. Scheduled to take effect in December, the law has already attracted controversy and threats of lawsuits to keep it from going into effect.

Currently, if a user is de-platformed from a large site such as Facebook, there are not a lot of alternatives. The overarching law in the US pertaining to such situations is Section 230 of the federal Communications Decency Act, which prevails if there is a conflict between it and a state law. However, there is wiggle room that Section 230 leaves, at least according to State Representative Briscoe Cain, who authored the Texas statute. Cain regards social media in the same light as telephone companies—that is, “common carriers” — whose business it is to take on any and all comers and not discriminate among them based on content.

Such discrimination happens all the time, as one unconfirmed incident I heard of recently attests. A man at the church I attend volunteers at a local pregnancy resource centre, which will be holding an online fundraising event in a few weeks. He told me that the centre has found that some of their emails sent to supporters have mysteriously disappeared, implying that the internet service providers’ spam filters had been adjusted to block emails from the centre.

Another example taken at random from a web search concerns Ryan Moore, a self-described writer and advertising broker, who tried to advertise a video he made in the spring of 2019 in which he was wearing a red “MAGA” (Make America Great Again) hat. While I have not viewed the video (I checked the link and it is now “unavailable”) his description of it sounds mild enough—criticism of the Christchurch, New Zealand terrorist bombing, good wishes for a nice St Patrick’s Day, and so on. Not only did Google refuse his ad to promote his video, but it also permanently banned him from ever having a Google ad account again, and confirmed this decision when Moore inquired, saying “Since this decision is final, the account will not be reinstated.”

I could multiply such instances that range everywhere from a single post being blocked to the wholesale destruction of an entire business when the Parler app and website were de-platformed by Google and Apple in 2019.

Not everyone who gets de-platformed is defensible, and even Rep. Cain probably does not want to allow hard-core child pornography to go unrestricted on the internet (although it probably does if you look hard enough). But HB 20 is an attempt to redress the huge power imbalance that happens when an individual or small organization has its access to social media blocked by a giant well-funded firm that exercises essentially monopoly powers.

Either the Texas attorney general or the wronged entity could sue under the new bill, and this may be a point of vulnerability, in that opponents of the bill claim it may interfere with the ability of social media companies to regulate their own content. Of course it will.

NetChoice, a trade association which counts Google, PayPal, and Facebook among its members, issued a statement condemning the passage of HB 20 and saying that it will probably be blocked by a federal court once it goes into effect. NetChoice’s position is that social media firms, as private entities, are entitled to carry only content that they choose, and by using their facilities, users put themselves at the mercy of the firm’s discretion.

This reminds me of a scene out of the 1940 Disney animated film “Fantasia,” which set to music cartoon characters both familiar and otherwise. In time with the famous ballet music “Dance of the Hours,” viewers are greeted by a company of baby hippopotamuses, each with a frilly pink lace tutu encircling her waist.

The analogy is clear—we have a troop of baby-hippo Big Tech giants stomping over the public stage, asking us to believe that their private-firm tutus, which might have been appropriate in the very early days when legacy media such as TV and newspapers overshadowed them, mean that whatever they decide about their content is their own business because it affects so few people.

The tutus no longer fit, if they ever did. Big Tech now operates a lot of 900-pound gorillas, to mix the animal metaphor, who do exactly as they please with regard to content that currently will not gain attention any other way than being filtered through the social-media monopoly. The Texas legislation is one state’s attempt to make dealing with social media a little less unfair.

I note a disturbing trend of which this controversy is only one example. A nation, to be a nation, must share a common pool of underlying principles or philosophies, in order to endure. By their behaviour in China, for example, Big Tech firms such as Apple, Google, and Facebook make it clear that nations mean little or nothing to them when it comes to the bottom line. Of course they need to stay within the law, but “the law” is a slippery and many-faceted thing, especially when you have deep enough pockets to hire enough lawyers to keep even states busy for years just trying to keep from being overwhelmed with lawsuits.

In past controversies involving freedom of speech in this country, opposing sides could at least agree on the statement, “Well, at least we’re all Americans.” But I have a hard time picturing the leaders of Big Tech freely admitting such a thing even in public, let alone in private. Great wealth confers great power, and as Lord Acton said, power corrupts. It is not yet time to despair that the systems of government that the founders deeded to us can overcome the exercise of raw power with the rule of law, which is all we have to guard ourselves against despotism.

But the upcoming battle over the implementation of HB 20 will be yet another skirmish in the war that is currently being fought over the right of free speech, which Big Tech increasingly wants to define for itself.

Please Consider Helping Former Marine Battalion Commander Stuart Scheller

The same Pentagon high command that botched the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan—leaving 13 U.S. troops dead—is now attempting to crush and humiliate Marine Battalion Commander LTC Stuart Scheller, who knowingly broke the chain of command by posting a video demanding accountability of higher-ups for those needless deaths at the airport in Kabul.

In his video message, Scheller said, “People [service members] are upset because their senior leaders let them down, and none of them are raising their hands and accepting accountability or saying, ‘We messed this up.’” He went on to ask if Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin or Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Mark Milley threw their rank on the table and said, “Hey, it’s a bad idea to evacuate Bagram Airfield, a strategic air base, before we evacuate everyone? Did anyone do that [throw their rank on the table]? And when you didn’t think to do that, did anyone raise their hand and say, ‘We completely messed this up.’”

For violating a gag order, Scheller was relieved of duty, arrested, handcuffed, stripped searched, forced to undergo a psychological exam (that’s what Stalin did to dissenters), and is now being held in pre-trial solitary confinement in a military prison, as if the married father of three is a flight risk. Two days ago, the Biden Pentagon sought to intimidate Scheller by presenting him with 640-pages of legal documents, all of which will have to be reviewed by his lawyer.

After limiting him to a 2-minute phone call to his parents when he was taken into custody, the Pentagon has refused to allow him any further contact with his parents, or with his wife and three young children. Now facing court-martial, the 17-year Marine officer stands to be dishonorably discharged and stripped of his retirement benefits, future VA benefits, and health insurance for his family.

Scheller knew breaking the chain of command would bring consequences, but I argue that what he did is infinitely less harmful to the military, and thus to America, than what the overfed Secretary of Defense and overfed Joint Chiefs Chairman have been doing: (1) politicizing the military for the first time in U.S. history by purging the ranks of “extremists,” i.e. straight white Christian supporters of President Trump; and (2) indoctrinating every branch of the military with critical race theory, a victim vs. oppressor (Marxist) political construct being used to brainwash service members to see America as an evil and systemically racist place where things can be made right only by upending its constitutional democracy in favor of single-party socialist rule. Scheller went outside the chain of command; what Austin and Milley have done is tantamount to treason.
