Planned Parenthood Warns New Abortion Laws Will Disproportionately Allow More Black People To Be Born

NEW YORK, NY—Furious progressives working at Planned Parenthood warned today that Texas’ new abortion limitations will inordinately affect minority communities, and if they were to stand, could lead to more minorities being allowed to live.

“This terrible law that keeps babies from having their heads crushed will particularly affect poor communities of color,” said Brenda Davis, Planned Parenthood spokesperson. “If you’re poor, and then you have a baby, you’ll be even poorer. Children are obviously better off dead than having to be alive and poor! But these sick, twisted Republicans want these babies to be alive anyway, even though we know their entire lives will suck because they are black and poor. Monsters!”

Abortion advocates have also pointed out that the restrictions would eliminate the ability of parents to kill their baby if the baby turns out to be disabled. “Not allowing women to get the screening back in order to decide if the child’s life is worth living is simply unconscionable,” said Hillary Clinton. “Surveys of people with Down syndrome say they lead happy and fulfilling lives – but obviously we know better than they do, because they have Down syndrome! Women should be able to kill their baby for any reason – too short, too many toes, having an outie belly button – that’s what women’s rights really look like!”

Abortionists warned that if they were to close down, Texas would pay the price by having more people of color and with disabilities, which would make Texas even more awful than it already is. “This is a tragedy on top of a tragedy,” said Alexis Johnson, president of Planned Parenthood. “Not only are we talking about more babies being born, but we’re also talking about a disproportionate number of black babies being born. That’s an existential threat to the eugenics mission we were founded on, if you know anything about our history.”

At publication time, liberals were trying to make a point by releasing proposals forcing men to be equally involved in the raising and supporting of children, but conservatives simply agreed to everything.

H&M Refuses to Play by China’s Rules, and More Companies Should Follow Suit

American corporations are walking a thin, and thinning, tightrope when it comes to Communist China. On one hand, companies want customers at home to see them as “values-based organizations.” Thus, they issue “woke” press releases accompanied by massive donations to organizations that are often fundamentally opposed to American ideals like freedom and equality.

But many companies are willing to look the other way when it’s the Chinese Communist government violating their so-called values. If they want to sell products in Communist China, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) won’t allow them to criticize the government for its brutal treatment of Tibetans and Uyghurs. Since Communist China’s massive market means billions of dollars in revenue, companies dutifully play along: they keep quiet about the CCP’s alleged enslavement and genocide of ethnic minorities, and they turn their guns on America instead, branding our freedoms and free markets as “racist” and “hateful.”

While many companies happily and hypocritically play by the CCP’s rules, there are a few brave exceptions. One is H&M, a retail fashion company, which recently condemned Communist China’s forced labor of Uyghurs in their cotton industry. Communist China’s response was swift and severe: Beijing removed H&M from map apps and e-commerce sites, and landlords closed 20 storefronts across Communist China. H&M lost $74 million because they dared to speak out.

H&M stood up for real human rights in Communist China, even though it meant a loss in revenue, and that should be applauded. While the company isn’t perfect – their CEO signed onto a pro-abortion letter in 2019 organized in part by Planned Parenthood – today, H&M deserves our support. Few companies are willing to hold Communist China accountable when it means slashed sales.

Contact H&M today and thank them for focusing on the global epicenter of human rights violations, rather than using their platform to lambast America, the freest country in the world. Then, tell the countless companies – ESPN, Disney, Gap, and more – that being “values-based” means calling out Communist China for brutal human rights violations – whatever the cost to their bottom line – and staying out of the cultural fray in America, where freedom and human rights flourish.

Florida To Start Issuing $5000 Fines To Businesses Requiring Proof Of Vaccination

The Florida Department of Health will start fining businesses $5,000 for violating the state’s ban on vaccine passports.

The state agency’s rule, “Penalties for COVID-19 Vaccine Documentation Requirements,” says it will impose the fine on “any business entity, governmental entity, or educational institution.” The $5,000 fine will apply “per individual and separate violation” and must be paid within 30 days.

“Promises made, promises kept,” Gov. Ron DeSantis’ spokesperson Taryn Fenske told Fox 13 Tampa Bay on Wednesday.

The fine does not apply to vaccine mandates businesses impose upon their own employees. Florida is an at-will employment state, which means employees have limited rights and may be terminated for a wide variety of reasons unless they are unionized or are under contract, legal experts told Fox 13.

“Governor DeSantis is retaliating against Floridians who are trying to protect themselves and their communities from COVID-19,” Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried, a Democrat campaigning to run against DeSantis in 2022, told Fox 13 in a statement.

“This not only goes against common sense — it’s also an insult to the free market principles that he claims to champion,” Fried added.

DeSantis consistently opposed vaccine mandates in Florida. “It’s completely unacceptable for either the government or the private sector to impose upon you the requirement that you show proof of vaccine to just simply be able to participate in normal society,” he said at a press conference in March, NPR reported.

Florida is not currently enforcing its ban on vaccine mandates on cruise lines following since a federal judge issued a temporary injunction allowing Norwegian Cruise Line to require proof of vaccination from passengers.

Florida saw a record number of COVID-19 hospitalizations over the last few weeks as the delta variant surged in the state. DeSantis encouraged Floridians to get vaccinated, saying vaccines are effective against the virus.

“Again, we must continue this stride to expand vaccination rates across eligible age groups. As stated by Governor DeSantis, ‘These vaccines are saving lives, and reducing the mortality of COVID-19,’” Christina Pushaw, a spokesperson for Gov. Ron DeSantis, told the Daily Caller News Foundation in a statement in August.

Biden Wrong On Fires and Ida

Hurricane Ida brought powerful wind and rain to Louisiana and drenched the Northeast.

Devastating fires have consumed California forests and burned people out of their homes.

Politicians and pressure groups, from President Biden on down, rushed to capitalize on people’s heart-rending losses, and exploit them to push the global warming narrative.

President Biden said,

“The past few days of Hurricane Ida and the unprecedented flash floods in New York and New Jersey is yet another reminder these extreme storms and the climate crisis are here.”

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said,

“Global warming is upon us, and it’s going to get worse, and worse, and worse, and that’s why it’s so imperative that we pass the two bills.”

Embattled Governor Gary Newsom, speaking on the Caldor and Dixie fires, vowed to,

“continue to lead on climate change, and that is our resolve and commitment to take a backseat to no one in this country in terms of our commitment to radically change the way we produce and consume energy.”

There is a chorus of voices conflating our weather with climate in ways scientific data does not support.

Hurricane Ida strengthened over a warm Gulf of Mexico.  Yet there is no trend that shows the Gulf warming in a meaningful way.  This is U.S. government data. Could any number of wind turbines, solar panels, or electric vehicles have meaningfully altered this temperature data, or for that matter Hurricane Ida?

Similarly, California rainfall always varies greatly from year to year.  Here, for example, is the precipitation data for San Diego.  Rainfall is low this year, yet not as low as many other years, some over a century ago.  Who truly believes that taxes, redistribution or energy mandates could have meaningfully brought more or less rain?  Would that even be desirable if they could?

When Hurricane Katrina struck, New Orleans flooded, not because of climate change, but because aging levies and pumps failed.  We spent the last sixteen years improving the levies and pumps.  This year they held.  That’s what genuine “infrastructure” investment looks like.

We must manage our forests better, harden the New York City Subways against storm surge and rain as required, and continue to ensure our noble first responders have the equipment and planning they need to protect us.

A National Disgrace

I am trying to wrap my head about what has transpired over the last month or so, in regards to the withdrawal/collapse in Afghanistan. While I usually defer to the bastions of fair, unbiased reporting such as The Times, or CNN….I just don’t know if I can in this case.

MILITARY DEBACLE

You see the right has been vehemently condemning just about every move made by what they call, this mentally addled puppet installed as the POTUS. This is what they have been saying. Before we examine some of his major miscues and blatant lies, just remember the most important one. As of today Joey “ice cream” Biden has left American citizens in the hands of the Tailban (who now apparently sets policy for the United States), and ISIS. This, after his now famous interview with Biden lapdog George Stephanopoulos, saying the “United States military will not leave Afghanistan until every American is out.” Well, I believe this qualifies as a blatant LIE , by the 5 deferments coward-in-chief. As, alas, of this writing our military is gone, and there are 100’s of Americans and there are additionally 1000’s of Afghan refugees who have been ABANDONED, that’s right Jen “Goebbels” Pskai, ABANDONED. This is an absolute national disgrace!

You see Deano, most believe Joey Talibiden picked this arbitrary day in order to have a photo opportunity on the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. It seems Joey went against all military advice and removed our air cover by closing Bagram Air Base in the dead of night this last July 5th. Then removed the 2,500 ground troops. Brilliant strategy, wouldn’t you say Deano, you know remove the military before civilians. When his generals woke him from his late morning nap (not to be confused with his afternoon nap), they advised him his plan was imploding. Well, Joey ordered 7,000 troops back in, genius, pure military genius, remove 2,500 and then install 7,000!

OUR BRAVE SERVICEMEN AND SERVICEWOMEN

As a result of this catastrophic quagmire, we now have 13 brave service men and women dead. This the result of a decrepit, feeble, stubborn, mentally challenged, installed puppet, looking for a photo op on 9/11 saying that he brought closure to the war in Afghanistan. Well, Joey….how did that work out for you? Matter of fact, all you Trump protest voters…..how has it worked out for you? I suggest you ask the families of these heroes who gave their lives due to the incompetence of an inept, feeble-minded old man, who should be residing in the Shady Rest retirement home instead of occupying the White House, enjoying pudding cups, and Judge Judy.

His handlers felt it would be a great gesture to show Joey accepting the return of these brave warriors in Dover Delaware. That was until the liar-in-Chief began to frequently check his watch. Nap time, snack time, tv time, just plain bored? Well, whatever it was, it was a HELLAVA lot less important than paying the proper respect to these fallen heroes…….disgusting. Surprisingly, minuscule to no media coverage of this…..go figure.

It’s seems Joey’s administration now has some universal pictures of babies being tossed over barriers too. First, almost daily down at the Southern border. Not too much mention of that lately, you know 200,000 illegal aliens streaming to the border monthly! Well, now Afghan refugees were throwing their babies over barriers in Kabul. Ah Joey, his polices are spanning that globe. President Trump is a racist!

It seems our allies are just as disgusted as most Americans are, with the exception, of course, of the likes of Pelosi, Schumer (dancer extraordinaire, with dance partner Stevie Colbert), Jen “Goebbels” Psaki, aka Peppermint “Propaganda ” Patti. Maybe Kamala feels this way, one can only wonder, as she is incommunicado. Well, she did make one comment when she was on her crucial Singapore/Vietnam tour. When asked about Afghanistan, she replied with her trademark ridiculous, sophomoric, moronic cackle. No word if her former boss, Willie Brown accompanied her on her vacation.

OUR ALLIES OPINION

Former British Prime Minister referred to the whole operation as “imbecilic,” which seems pretty accurate, as Joey is often referred to as an imbecile. The French also had strong words for this military debacle. Except you really wouldn’t know that, as the White House had all criticism of the operation redacted from the transcript. It now reads like a lovely fictional novel, ala Andy Cuomo’s now out of print fiction. Ya have to love the transparency(campaign/propaganda promise) of the Harris administration, don’t ya, Deano old sport?

Has anybody been brought to task over this catastrophe? Clueless Joey, globe trotting Kamala, woke General Milley, honest Tony Blinken (so sincere), Lloyd Austin (race relations expert), the list goes on and on. Finally, just recently , someone is being held accountable. It is heroic Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Schiller, who was relieved of his command and later resigned. Why? He questioned “why none of the higher ups are taking responsibility for this strategic debacle and acknowledging that they messed up.” So, this is the one person who gets punished for Joey and his administrations gross ineptitude…….seems reasonable. When they asked Joey who should be held accountable he said, “I finished an 8 piece jigsaw puzzle of Winny the Pooh and “Dr.” Jill put it on the White House refrigerator! President Trump is a racist!

General Mckenzie, commander of the US central command said the Taliban were being useful and helpful. Doesn’t it just warm your heart that the Taliban (extreme terrorist organization) is going out of their way to be helpful. This by the way, as reports come in that this “helpful” organization is going house to house executing Afghan’s who cooperated with the previous Afghan government and American’s. Ya see Deano, I didn’t see or hear mention of any of this in your bastion of honest reporting, The New York Times. Now that I think about it you have been leaving a lot of details out about Afghanistan lately. I see you’re keeping up with the important issues, like President Trump’s tax returns or Stormy Daniels attorney Michael Avenatti (former Democratic candidate considered for President). Word is, he is considering running in 2024………if he is out of jail by then, that is.

LITTLE RED LYING HOOD

It has been a little tough getting answers from the press secretary Little Red Lying Hood Psaki. Republicans say Psaki is busy blaming this disgraceful debacle on President Trump. Word is she is now blaming President Trump for the Titanic sinking, the Lindbergh kidnapping, the Hindenburg disaster, as well as all natural disasters since the Galveston hurricane of 1900. When they asked Joey about this he replied, “Dr.” Jill said I can have two pudding cups today!

Speaking of Joey, he has been on top of his game as usual in regards to press conferences. His reading off the teleprompter has been top notch. When pressed for questions, this is where he really excels. Joey just turns around and shuffles off and out the door. CNN reportedly has been showering Joey with accolades. No, not on his comments, but the fact that he knows how to open the door to run away, sorry I mean leave. The right says this should be his Presidential portrait, turning his back…..you know like he turned his back on Americans in Afghanistan.

WHERE’S KALAMITY?

Many Republicans as well as Democrats have been asking, where is Kalamity, I mean Kamala? As the self described “last person” in the room with Joey in regards to decisions in Afghanistan. Well, it seems first thing Heels Harris did when the stuff hit the fan was to obviously, board a plane for Singapore and Vietnam. You know Deano, this trip must have been imperative, no way to reschedule. What was it again that she accomplished, oh yeah, she did her best to distance herself from this debacle and political suicide. Then she had to cancel her stop over in California to campaign on behalf of the grossly incompetent Governor Gavin Newsom. Well surprisingly, she STILL hasn’t been seen with Joey working on the Afghanistan catastrophe. I mean it must be bad, when the 2nd worst Governor in America (Andy will always be #1 in American hearts) tells you to please not campaign for him, to please, please stay away. As far as that “last person in the room” comment, maybe she meant Willie Brown, not Joey.

7 SHORT MONTHS

Well Deano, let’s take a look at Joey’s accomplishments in 7 short months, shall we. Bear in mind, these were done by the over 50 executive orders that were shoved in front of old Joey, mostly by resident anarchist’s Pelosi and Schumer. You know after Joey said this is how dictators govern, using executive orders. The rumor that Joey tried to sign in crayon is false……..I think.

Let’s look at some of the magnificent political moves by Joey:

  • cancelling the Keystone pipeline, costing numerous jobs and trying to make America energy dependent versus energy independent.
  • lifting of sanctions on the Russian Nord Stream 2 pipeline. Well at least Russia is energy independent and are making money exporting their gas.
  • halted all gas and oil leasing on federal land…..there is that pesky jobs lost thingy.
  • opening the Southern border to illegal aliens at a rate of 200,000 a month. They are redistributed throughout the United States in the dead of the night. Mostly to political swing states, I wonder why? No concern over covid, even by the esteemed political stooge “Dr.” Fauci? Fentanyl pouring in, gang members coming in. They can join in with the Taliban coming in masquerading as Afghan refugees.
  • rampant inflation with no end in sight. Oh, the CPI index excludes food and energy. To be fair, who really needs food and gas? Oh yeah, price of lumber and other essentials are through the roof. Who needs lumber and such trivialities anyway.
  • promised bipartisan unity, claiming he was not a radical progressive………………enough said.
  • had a plan to conquer covid while campaigning. We are still waiting to hear this plan as covid and variants rage. It’s almost like anything and everything he says is a LIE.
  • bailed out grossly mismanaged Democratic states with $350,000,000,000 taxpayer dollars, no questions asked. If not for the voter fraud, many of these states would be facing bankruptcies. Thank goodness for all those dead grandparents votes and illegitimate mail in votes (you know covid)……never let a crisis go to waste.
  • endorsed a covid relief bill, you know the one that 15% actually went to covid. The remainder of the money went towards a Democratic wish list, you know important stuff, gender studies and the like.
  • not acknowledging Andy Cuomo’s nursing home deaths and subsequent coverup, as well as 4 other Democratic Governors who sent sick seniors with covid back to nursing homes. Shockingly the DOJ doesn’t seem to think there is any need to investigate this either…..shocking I tell ya!

You see that is a mere fraction of the things Talibiden Joe has accomplished in 7 short months. Oh, and possibly the biggest military blunder in this nations history. Sleepy Joe can Blame President Trump, the Afghan government, the Afghan military, global warming, covid, alignment of the stars, etc, etc. but according to a majority of Americans including 90 retired Generals and Admirals who addressed this in a letter, the blame lies strictly with JOESPH BIDEN, period! My guess is a few more active Generals and Admirals would say the same, except they would experience the same fate as Lt. Col. Stuart Schiller.

But Old Joe isn’t the only one to blame Deano. Maybe the biggest partner in this national disgrace is the media. Yep, Deano, you and the Times, CNN, ABC, NBC CBS, MSNBC, Jackie Dorsey(Osama Bin Laden look alike)and Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc, etc. You are all complicit by censoring, (you know Twitter bans President Trump, but allows the Taliban to tweet), seems very reasonable. Editing clips, distorting the truth, concealing blunder after blunder by this incompetent, mentally deficient, morally corrupt individual occupying the White House. One moderate Conservative said it this way, “he is just a weak, frail, figurehead not elected, but installed by a criminally corrupt political system.”

You, in the media, and also the corrupt swing state governors who circumvented legislative procedures to install a fraudulent voting system. You know, non verified mail in voting due to plandemic covid hysteria. When science is convenient, it is the go to, unless of course you are celebrating Barack Hussein’s birthday, or Pelosi’s fundraising garden party(or getting her hair done), or Chuckie Schumer dancing the night away with political stooge Stevie Colbert in Central Park, or incompetent Newsom dining maskless, during the height of the pandemic. Move along nothing to see here…..but, but, but, the science!

I take the last and by far biggest quagmire by this installed occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, personally. As I have relatives who have served in the military, as well as some who are presently serving. The blood of these 13 heroes is on JOE BIDEN’S hands, due to his incompetence, stubbornness, diminished mental acuity, and on the hands of those who were complicit in this national disgrace. Including, of course the media, who runs cover for this buffoon. Also, in a way, all the Trump protest voters have a hand in this also. Any voter remorse out there?

Say what you want about President Trump, call him crass, egotistical, bombastic, etc. But I can guarantee you this, that this would have never happened on his watch. Not by a long shot. If you deny that fact, then you are just in denial or delusional. Ah, whatever helps you sleep at night.

Enjoy your Labor Day weekend there Deano. Maybe you’re having a BBQ at your non diverse affluent estate over in Larchmont, California. Or perhaps, you are vacationing up at Barack Hussein’s non diverse affluent estate in Martha’s Vineyard? I wonder if those abandoned, stranded, inconvenienced (whatever semantic, you like), will be celebrating. Or will these abandoned Americans and refugees be running for their lives trying to survive. I think the latter.

Well, keep up the fantastic work over there at The Old Gray Lady, Deano. I’m sure your family is proud that you were in charge while all this has been going down with Old Joe. Yep, proud indeed. The example you set for our children is immeasurable, great job.

San Francisco to Fight Rising Gun Crime by Paying People Not to Shoot Each Other

San Francisco will roll out a pilot program in October that will pay “high risk” individuals not to shoot one another, Fox News reported.

The program, which is sponsored by the Dream Keeper Fellowship, will pay 10 people “who are at high risk of being on either end of a shooting” $300 per month to forego the violent crime. Notably, the Dream Keeper Initiative is part of San Francisco Mayor London Breed’s (D) plan to divert $120 million from the city’s law enforcement budget to projects aimed at helping the city’s black minority.

“These small investments can transform the lives of individuals, but they can also transform communities,” Sheryl Davis, executive director of the Human Rights Commission, told Newsweek.

In August, Mayor Breed said she believes the program will cut down on violent crime in the city, which has skyrocketed this year.

According to Fox News, there have been 119 recorded gun crime victims in the first six months of 2021, “which is double the number during the same timeframe in 2020.” In 2020, homicides rose 35 percent.

Richmond, California, reportedly instituted a similar program, which the media called “cash for criminals.”  A 2019 study concluded that the program helped reduce gun homicides in the city by 55 percent, the report states.

Critics of the program have pointed out that similar initiatives haven’t been very successful, with the Washington Examiner‘s David Freddoso saying in a Wednesday op-ed, “It was also tried in Sacramento, where its promoters boast that ‘only’ 44 percent  of participants were subsequently arrested on new charges — well, as long as you don’t count about one-third of the participants who dropped out or were arrested in its first six months.

California also recently decided to throw money at its drug problem by paying people to stay sober, something Gov. Gavin Newsom called “contingency management.” He asked the federal government for permission to use tax dollars to pay for it through Medicaid.

The European Union’s counterpart to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), said there’s no urgent need to deploy COVID-19 vaccine boosters, coming a week after federal health officials recommended them and set a Sept. 20 deadline.

On Sept. 2, the European CDC stated that booster doses for individuals who are fully vaccinated aren’t needed for the time being.

“Based on current evidence, there is no urgent need for the administration of booster doses of vaccines to fully vaccinated individuals in the general population,” the EU agency stated, adding that its “report also notes that additional doses should already be considered for people with severely weakened immune systems as part of their primary vaccination.”

The agency stated that the priority now is to “vaccinate all those eligible individuals who have not yet completed their recommended vaccination course” and stressed that there’s a difference between booster shots and additional doses provided for individuals with weakened or compromised immune systems.

The European Medicines Agency last month concluded that more data is needed on the duration of the protection conferred by COVID-19 vaccines before it could recommend booster shots for non-immunocompromised people.

Besides the United States, Germany and France have announced that they would provide boosters to immunocompromised individuals and vulnerable people starting in September. They cited the spread of the Delta COVID-19 variant as a reason to push the third doses out.

After top officials with the CDC and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) last week announced they would try to start rolling out booster shots by Sept. 20, the World Health Organization issued a sharp rebuke against wealthier nations and accused them of pushing for booster shots rather than providing vaccines to poor countries. U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, however, said that the United States can provide both booster shots for its own residents and distribute the vaccine to poorer nations.

As booster shots are being rolled out, meanwhile, concerns have been raised that the extra doses would shift the definition of what it means to be “fully vaccinated.”

For example, in Israel, which is one of the most vaccinated countries in the world, health officials recently began declaring that individuals who have received three—not two—COVID-19 vaccine doses are “fully vaccinated.” Holders of Israel’s vaccine passports have to get a third dose of the Pfizer mRNA vaccine within six months of their second shot or they could lose the pass.

“We are updating what it means to be vaccinated,” said Israel’s COVID-19 response coordinator, Salman Zarka, during a recent news conference, reported The Wall Street Journal.

Stocks for AstraZeneca, which administers the majority of vaccines in EU countries, were up by about 1.19 percent as of mid-day trading on Sept. 2.

Joe Kent, a retired U.S. Army Special Forces chief warrant officer, served for over 20 years and completed 11 combat deployments. He’s running as a Republican for a seat representing Washington state’s 3rd Congressional District.

“It starts with Biden, and we have to work our way down,” Kent told Fox News. “I think we need to have a full Afghan war commission and find out who was lying and when they were lying.”

“If we don’t fight for it, they will get away with this one, and that will lead to more and more of these,” he continued. “And I don’t just mean the military industrial complex, the intelligence community. I mean every level of our government.”

Kent also expressed disdain for senior leadership across government institutions and questioned the motivations behind their decision-making.

“We have to come to the realization that the vast majority of our elites and of our institutions really are not working in our best interest whatsoever,” he told Fox News. “Some of them outright despise us.

The former combat veteran who fought in the Iraq War specifically targeted leadership within the U.S. military.

“These commanders, these generals, have been lying for years because they want to keep these wars going,” Kent said. “Wars are good for generals. This is how they make their rank.”

“This is how they slide into their next gig within the D.C. beltway, in academia, in think tanks or even on the board of a defense contractor, just like Gen. [Lloyd] Austin,” he said, referring to the secretary of defense.

Austin previously served as a four-star general in the Obama administration. After retiring as commander of the U.S. Central Command, or CENTCOM, Austin joined the board of Raytheon Technologies, a military contractor.

Kent’s wife, Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer Shannon Kent, was killed on Jan. 16, 2019, while conducting special operations against ISIS in Syria. The former Green Beret-turned political candidate blamed her death, in part, on the military industrial complex and on war perpetuated by the desire for personal gain.

“President Trump attempted to get us out of pretty much every conflict,” Kent told Fox News. “The apparatus of the Pentagon, the military industrial complex, the blob, whatever you want to call it, found ways to thwart President Trump.”

“That’s how my wife got killed,” Kent, a father of two, continued.

He also said the U.S.’s chaotic exit from Afghanistan showed that military leadership never intended to fully withdraw from the country even after Trump signed a deal to have U.S. troops out by May 2021.

“The military never planned on living up to the deal that Trump negotiated with the Taliban,” Kent told Fox News. “You can tell they didn’t have a plan to ever leave Afghanistan … There would have been things in place already to get us safely out of there.”

“The military knows how to do this,” he continued. “This isn’t incompetence, this is malice.”

“This culture that the military has of, ‘no matter what, we’re going to stay in these conflicts till we can slow roll presidents and essentially go against the will of the American people,’ that’s absolutely toxic,” he continued.

“And then the Biden administration just wanting a political win and just wanting these optics … that just made this lethal combination there at Kabul International Airport that we all witnessed.”

The U.S. completed its evacuation from Afghanistan late Monday, ending America’s longest war and closing a chapter in military history likely to be remembered for colossal failures, unfulfilled promises and a chaotic exit.

President Biden addressed the nation the following afternoon – nearly 24 hours later – declaring the mission an “extraordinary success,” despite stranding more than 100 American citizens and thousands of Afghan allies in Afghanistan.

Kent said waking up to the deep-rooted corruption within the government made him want to run for office

“The odds aren’t in our favor, but I am optimistic,” he said. “I think every day, people see the narrative coming from the establishment erode more and more. If we push hard and fight for it, we will take our country back.”

Trump on Wednesday endorsed Kent, who is challenging Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler. She was one of the 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump following the Jan. 6 Capitol Hill riot.

“Joe served his country proudly for many years and understands the tremendous cost of America’s wars in the Middle East, and elsewhere,” the former president said in a statement. “In Congress, Joe will be a warrior for the America First agenda, unlike Jaime Herrera Beutler who voted, despite the facts, against the Republican Party and for the Democrats’ Impeachment Scam.”

Wisconsin to begin audit of 2020 presidential election results

Wisconsin Republican state legislators approved an audit of the state’s 2020 presidential election results, to begin in the coming weeks. Former state Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman was appointed to oversee the investigation of the election results.
Michael Gableman traveled to Sioux Falls, SD to attend MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell’s cyber symposium on election integrity in August.

Gableman traveled to Arizona last month to learn about their election audit and how it could be useful in Wisconsin.

“I learned a lot there that will be helpful to my investigation,” said Gableman, who also attended the election fraud symposium led by MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell in Sioux Falls, South Dakota last month.

Gableman’s investigation is one of several in the state of Wisconsin. The nonpartisan Legislative Audit Bureau is reviewing the results of last year’s election. Republican State Rep. Janel Brandtjen, chairwoman of the Assembly Elections Committee, issued subpoenas to election clerks in Brown and Milwaukee counties for voting machines and ballots.

President Donald Trump issued a statement calling Brandtjen a “strong and great leader.”

“All eyes are on Wisconsin as they begin their election audit,” said Trump. “Hopefully Republican Speaker Robin Vos has the integrity and strength Wisconsin needs to support Rep. Brandtjen’s efforts. Our Country is counting on it!”

Legislative attorneys have stated that election subpoenas are not valid unless Republican Speaker Robin Vos signs them.

Vos replied saying that if Gableman believes that subpoenas are necessary, “we will look into making sure those can happen.”

Republicans have attempted to change voting laws in Wisconsin since last year, but their efforts have been vetoed by Gov. Tony Evers, D-Wis. Evers vetoed legislation last month that would have required residents that vote absentee to provide ID.

Joe Biden was projected as the narrow winner of Wisconsin’s 10 electoral votes for the 2020 presidential election after securing the state by less than one percent of votes.

Biden’s War on Women by Sharron Angle [+Video]

Biden’s war on women is subtle but not so subtle if you are a woman’s rights warrior who knows the history of the women’s movement. Women’s suffrage was more than just the right of women to vote which was the last voting right to be granted to a free person regardless of gender August 26, 1920 by the 19th Amendment. Just as a point of reference, black men were granted the right to vote in 1868 by the 14th amendment. August 26 is Women’s Equality Day and this year marked a time effectively negating the entire hundred-year-old movement.

In politics it takes three punches to effectively notify voters of an opponent’s perceived villainous activity and reputation. It’s difficult to come back from those three strikes even if the attacks are verifiably false, especially if the media refuses to report the truth or stands by neutrally to watch. That’s how Biden was able to deliver the final blows without much objection from women’s rights activists.

Biden’s first blow was choosing Kamala Harris as his running mate and later as the elected United States Vice-President. Of all the qualified Democrat women in the United States, Joe Biden chose the woman who personified the sexist stereotype of women in the workplace of the last century — all women get jobs in a man’s world by sleeping with the boss. It took decades, a World War in which women worked in hitherto men’s jobs, and sacrifices of family and long hours of hard work by qualified, intelligent women to break the glass ceiling. Harris’ selection was an insult to any woman who suffered and fought against sexual harassment and the humiliation of watching a man get the job she was more qualified to do. (I’m one of those!)

Rick Trader, my co-host on Conservative Commandos Radio Show, a weekday nationally broadcast radio and TV show, calls her the “Vice-Prostitute.” Her relationship with Mayor Willie Brown launched her political career. The Democrat Party, the self-proclaimed champion of women’s rights, and their media stooges said nary a critical peep. On the contrary they heralded her as a hero to women’s rights by becoming the first female Vice-President.

We hear constant reports on Kamala Harris’ trip abroad, when she should be present during the Afghan crisis. How many stories have we seen on truly heroic women like Allyson Reneau, coordinator of the rescue of the all-woman Afghan robotics team or Marine Sgt. Nicole Gee and Marine Sgt. Johanny Rosario Pichardo who were killed by a suicide bomber while escorting young girls to cargo planes for escape? Ironically they died on Women’s Equality Day 2021and not one mention of their sacrifices in the President’s proclamation.

Biden’s War on Women continued with ending Title IX during The Olympics in Japan. Title IX, established in 1972, provided equal access to any program or activity that receives Federal financial assistance, including sports. Public schools, are legally required to provide girls with equitable sports opportunities. When men were allowed with transgenders competing as women in women’s sports, with the support of the woke Democrats and their leaders Biden and Harris made it clear that women no longer have equal status. Women and girls lost their unique rights to sports, restrooms, privacy, even their pronouns and genetic roles as mothers and wives. To those who know basic biology gender chromosomes, because they are contained in every cell, are immutable. However, science is not the rule of the day nor is the law. Feelings are the trump card of Biden and friends.

That’s why Allyson Reneau, mother of 11 biological children all with the same father, and a NASA expert, is being demonized by the press. She told CCRShow in an exclusive interview that she was being threatened, her reputation besmirched, and has been served with a cease and desist summons since the valiant rescue of the Afghan girls. Although Allyson would not name the names of her accusers one only has to read the newspaper articles or research the modus operandi of the left to know that those manipulating Biden are also the engineers of this War on Women.

The dehumanization of  Afghanistan’s women and girls is the final blow. Biden deserted women and children to home invasion, brutality, forced marriages, and rapes. The Taliban’s medieval barbarian treatment of women and girls as livestock makes females into sub-humans. By abandoning Afghan women, Biden sent a message to all women around the world. “You don’t matter to the President of the United States.”

In Christ there is neither male nor female. That was the Bible principle the Founders wrote into the Declaration of Independence that “all men [all human beings] are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights.” They were standing on the Bible and scientific fact that all mankind is 95% the same. That’s why a woman can donate an organ to a man and vice-versa. Sadly because all mankind was not created perfect, it took nearly a hundred years for all males to be declared equal and over a hundred and fifty years to make women equal under the law. In less than nine months women’s rights and their humanity have been obliterated. How’s that for a great re-set Mr. Biden? Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton are you rolling over in your graves? I say to the women who voted for “touchy-feeler -of-women” Biden, the Male Chauvinist Pig, “Shame on you for betraying women! “ One last thought, who’s next?

13 YEARS IS A LONG, LONG TIME. . . .

In Judaism, 13 is a blessed number, as it is the age of accountability for boys to spiritually and ritually become men, taking on the responsibilities of an adult. 13 is momentous mindfulness, the beginning of a new life cycle.

After 13 years of antisemitic persecution in South Florida’s Manatee County, our family was evicted from my Dad’s beloved modest condominium for the sake of Judenrein at Heritage Village West Condominiums (HVW) – the absence of Jews, as a former Board Officer had expressly vowed to drive out the Jews.

The perfect storm of antisemitism in Florida’s capital of antisemitism, scenic Manatee County, involves willing lawyers, organizations, neighbors, community leaders, judges, and clergy, none of whom will object to or protest against decades of grotesque discrimination against Jews. It is the perfect storm amidst the ravages of the COVID pandemic, when life stopped for awhile but not hate.

Like the viral pandemic, Jew-hatred is a highly-contagious disease, passing easily from person to person, group to group, neighbor to neighbor, congregant to fellow worshipper, community to nearby community, state to state, and nation to nation. Like the corona pandemic, it must be eradicated. In Manatee County in 13 years of persecution, not a single official spoke or demonstrated against the repeated vandalism of our property on and near to Jewish Holy Days, deflating and slitting of our car tires, theft of our personal possessions, threats against us, years of extortionate demands upon us for scores of thousands of dollars, intimidation, mocking of us in court, and illegal eviction of us on July 14, 2021, by orders of Judges Edward Nicholas and Charles Sniffen.

Amongst the written threats to us were: “Be warned, I’ll be keeping an eye on you.”; “The last thing you want to do is make an enemy of me.”; “By the way, you make yourselves look foolish with this [Holocaust] survivor crap.”

By order of the Florida Court of Appeal, Judge Nicholas was officially removed due to his bias and prejudice against us from the eviction case that HVW had filed against my husband, Lawrence Newman, and me pursuant to Florida’s rent diversion statute (F.S. 718.116(11)) that expressly requires four criteria to be met for eviction of a family by a condominium association. While it was undisputed that our family never met the criteria of “rent”-paying “tenants” under contract with our Dad for less than one year, and our family never refused to divert said alleged “rent” from HVW condo owner, Al Katz (who never charged us rent), to HVW, the lawsuit filed by attorney Scott K. Petersen falsely claimed that Lawrence and Beverly Newman refused to divert their “rent” from Al Katz to HVW in December 2015 and January 2016 – 5 1/2 years after our Dad had moved to Heaven and could not receive “rent” from anyone.

In the course of years of perjurious litigation against us, Judge Edward Nicholas ordered me to produce all of my confidential intimate medical records, including gynecological exams, from the time of my birth, for HVW’s lawyers to inspect and for the Judge to personally review himself, purportedly to confirm that I have asthma. Illegal subpoenas were sent by HVW to my physicians in New Mexico and Ohio, threatening them with contempt of court although the court had no jurisdiction over them. Judge Nicholas refused to sanction the lawyers for overt intimidation of my physicians.

In the course of years of eviction litigation, Judge Nicholas variously referred to our Jewish family in classic antisemitic accusations, which would not even be hurled at habitual criminals: “deliberate callousness”; “gross indifference”; “bizarre”; “egregiousness”; “vindictive”; “abject contempt”; “gross indifference”; “abuse”; “egregious and inappropriate indifference”; “contumacious disregard.”

Far from habitual criminals, I am an author of children’s books and nationally-published articles, a Holocaust educator, and Director of the Al Katz Center for Holocaust Survivors & Jewish Learning with my husband, who is also a Holocaust educator. My Dad, Al Katz, was a slave for the Nazis for seven years in concentration camps across Europe. He was also a guardianship Ward of the State of Florida, due, in large measure, to the direct involvement of HVW Officers and Board Members, who refused to evict the four convicted criminals exploiting and abusing him at HVW, namely, Randall Scribner, Sara Scribner, Peter Klimek, and Fred Carreras, whose collective felonies include: child molesting, narcotics drug dealing, aggravated assault on an officer, grand theft, spouse abuse, car thefts, armed robbery, escape, aggravated battery, resisting arrest, burglary, forgery, DUI, violations of probation, receiving stolen property, prowling, disorderly intoxication, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Nonetheless, HVW fought relentlessly to evict its only remaining Jewish family through years of perjurious filings and classic antisemitic accusations that we were “dishonest and “not credible.” Since our fraudulent eviction, we cannot rent anywhere due to our “eviction history.” Our lives and work are utterly severed, and we have had to start a new life in our old age.

During the perfect storm of antisemitism amidst the perfect pandemic, The Creator has blessed us with fortitude and inspiration to persevere. We have no more deflated and slit tires, no more angry false accusations by neighbors; but we also have the majority of our worldly possessions left behind in the haste of our eviction in the condominium that our Dad worked and paid for as we were given only 24-hours notice to vacate.

Eviction is a major, major life cycle event, which can be life-threatening even in healthy circumstances. During a deadly pandemic, eviction is inherently dangerous, and hordes of precautions must be taken to protect one’s health. These factors were discarded and disregarded by two Manatee County judges, HVW Officers, and a plethora of HVW attorneys with no respect for Jewish lives, beginning with the life of an 89-year-old Holocaust Survivor who had suffered skull fractures, extreme facial and head wounds, and intracranial hemorrhaging at the hands of the violent criminals whom HVW refused to evict.

This is the perfect storm of antisemitism that threatens the entire society and world just as it did in the Holocaust, costing 60 million lives globally. Yet, here we sit watching the same reruns and not knowing the ending. Here we sit silent, voiceless, thoughtlessly waiting for another sequel to our own destruction by Jew-haters in tailored suits and honored professions.

We have teachers who don’t want to be vaccinated and the UFT is trying to force them.” He announced that he too is leaving the New York City Teachers Union (UFT)

“As many of you know I publicly announced I am leaving my union, the UFT … Leaving the union does not mean I am leaving my NYC DOE job … It just means I will no longer be paying union dues to the UFT while I teach in NYC.

The United States Supreme Court has ruled I cannot be compelled to pay any union dues or fees as a condition of my employment.  As of this date, I revoke any dues deduction authorization that I may have signed and no longer authorize the deduction of any union dues or fees from my paycheck.

The President of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), Randi Weingarten was on the record that she supported forcing teachers to get the COVID vaccine to keep our jobs. Thankfully due to pressure fron TEACHERS FOR CHOICE she reversed those comments. We cannot stop fighting!”

VIDEO: January 6th Political Prisoners of Biden Admin File Formal Complaint With UN Human Rights Committee

Tortured, beaten and kept in solitary, the Americans who stood for election integrity on January 6th are prisoners of war.

Decent, freedom loving Americans have no recourse. Imagine the desperation — the United Nations Human Rights Committee.

At noon on Aug. 27, 2021, outside the United Nations in New York City, Look Ahead America (LAA)and Citizens Against Political Persecution (CAPP) announced they will present a joint letter to the United Nations Human Rights Committee to investigate and demand relief for the Biden Administration’s January 6 political prisoners.

Speaking,  Matt Braynard, Executive Director of Look Ahead America and Cara Castronuova, Founder of Citizens Against Political Persecution (CAPP) regarding their  Formal Complaint. They are demanding sanctions against key Biden Administration Officials.

From the complaint:

“Today I write in support of basic human rights for a specific group of Americans who have been disparately and inhumanely treated by their government – singled out, imprisoned, and even physically abused – because of their political beliefs. As outlined herein, LAA has sought relief from several members of the United States government, as well as other U.S.-based human rights advocacy groups. We have been largely ignored, and human rights violations continue unabated, with no relief in sight. Those avenues exhausted, and in recognition of the United Nations’ long and prestigious history of human rights advocacy, we ask for your review and consideration of these prisoners’ plight.”

Matt Braynard, Executive Director of Look Ahead America, made the following statement:

“Not only do we urge the United Nations to investigate this abuse of human rights, but we ask that other governments hold US officials to the same standards US officials have held others around the world. Just as the US government has imposed sanctions on foreign leaders whom they allege have fallen short of international norms, we urge government around the world to impose travel restrictions and financial penalties against President Biden, Attorney General Merrick Garland, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and other US government officials who involved in this gross violation of human rights.”

Cara Castronuova, Executive Director of Citizens Against Political Persecution, made the following statement:

“We here at Citizens Against Political Persecution have been fighting for the January 6th detainees for months now. The government continues to unconstitutionally detain our fellow American citizens and we feel that submitting this letter to the United Nations is the next logical step towards justice. Hopefully the United Nations hears our plea, as we are the voices of the unheard political prisoners right now who are not able to speak for themselves.”

Donald Trump: All U.S. States Should Go to Paper Ballots, Same-Day in-Person Voting, Voter ID

By: Matthew Boyle, Breitbart, 2 Sep 2021:BEDMINSTER, New Jersey — Former President Donald Trump told Breitbart News that all states should ditch voting machines and return solely to paper ballots, in addition to eliminating early voting and instituting voter ID requirements coast to coast. Asked during a nearly two-hour interview at his golf club last week what reforms he thinks could fix the system and restore confidence in American elections, Trump listed several things he hopes states will implement to reform the system

“Voter ID is very important,” Trump told Breitbart News. “Frankly, going to paper ballots is better than anything you can do — paper ballots. Going to paper ballots. You know, Canada uses paper ballots. I think going to paper ballots would be the best thing if you want to have accurate elections. Countries that do paper ballots — solidly watched paper ballots — those are the ones that work. And stop the mail-in ballots unless it’s for military and overseas or very sick people, people that just can’t vote — and they have to have some kind of a real excuse. I think paper ballots, same-day voting would be great. Those things, you’d straighten out your elections.”

Canada does use paper ballots. In fact, late last year in November 2020, Canadian election officials made that clear in a public statement:

Trump also said during the interview he is encouraged by some actions taken at the grassroots level to reform elections across the country, particularly in Texas where the state legislature just cleared final hurdles to get a bill through to Gov. Greg Abbott (R) who is expected to sign it soon. Trump, though, had harsh words for Georgia — the state’s new law has been viciously criticized by the left, but Trump thinks it does not go far enough. He said Gov. Brian Kemp (R) weakened the proposal.

“Georgia’s new law is not strong,” Trump said. “Texas’s new law is strong. Georgia’s new law is not strong because the governor of Georgia didn’t want it to be strong. It’s better than it was, but it’s not strong.”

Trump also said that Republicans need to focus not just on the future — 2022, 2024, and beyond — but also on exposing what he says happened last year.

“The single biggest topic for the Republican Party is the voter fraud of 2020 — not 2022, not 2024,” Trump said. “You’ll never get to 2024, you’ll never get to 2022.”

He pointed to various audits from around the country, like in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania as important. But he said the establishment media ignoring voter fraud and election issues make it harder to get his side of the story out.

“Here’s the question. This is a new phenomena. This is what happens with Communism. You can’t have a scandal if nobody writes about it.” Trump said, “Look at what they’re finding in Georgia. Look at what they’re finding in Arizona. I mean, Arizona they want to recheck and double-check — people can’t even believe. Look, that’s being done by the Senate, not by me. But people can’t believe the kinds of numbers coming out. They’re massive. Now, you’re starting in Wisconsin. Now, Pennsylvania is moving because they said, ‘wait a minute.’”

Trump is also watching what is coming out from broader national pushes to investigate what happened last year. Asked about a recent report on a forthcoming investigation from True the Vote — one such election integrity group — that claims it has obtained cell phone GPS ping data from hundreds of alleged “ballot traffickers” who allegedly went to multiple ballot drop boxes in key cities in a number of these swing states multiple times, Trump said he thinks it is a “big deal.”

“This is a big deal. This is a big deal. I know — I’ve been hearing about it,” Trump said of True the Vote’s forthcoming investigation.

The group says it has obtained surveillance video from ballot drop boxes in Georgia to back up its case and those videos will be coming out soon, as Breitbart News has recently reported.

Trump also in the interview cited multiple recent reports from Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) president and general counsel J. Christian Adams, who, using Election Assistance Commission (EAC) government data, reports that 15 million mail ballots nationwide were unaccounted for in the 2020 election.

Trump argued that the sheer volume of the questionable outcome of those ballots Adams discovered using government data is well over the margins of the outcome of the election between him and Biden. “That’s the election right there,” Trump said.

Adams, who joined Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel after the Trump interview this past weekend to explain his report, said 2020 was “the worst way to run an [American] election.”

“This is not data that we are speculating about,” Adams said. “This is federal data, and that’s where we get the 15 million number. Fifteen million ballots were sent in the mail last year that never ever came back and were counted.”

Ken Blackwell, a longtime conservative activist and former mayor of Cincinnati, Ohio, who serves on the board of Adams’s group PILF and also as the chairman of the America First Public Policy Institute’s Center for Election Integrity, told Breitbart News the two groups and others are digging into what happened in 2020.

“In combination, we have shined a light into the dark corners of the 2020 election, and we are going to continue to beat the drum for transparency. And we are going to litigate, and we have a track record of winning,” Blackwell said.

“There were disturbing patterns of irregularities and constitutional transgressions that took place in the 2020 election,” Blackwell added in a phone interview. “One of the things that makes you go ‘huh?’ is that President Trump was the first president to get 11 million more votes in his reelection effort than his first election, and he lost. Joe Biden won the election with a record low percentage of counties in which he won. The voting public is demanding transparency and a deep dive. While there is no constitutional provision that would boot Joe Biden out of office, there is sufficient evidence that a federalized system which is being proposed by the Democrats and the radical left would undermine states’ rights and common-sense practices that tighten the chain of custody of ballots and establish verification systems that make it clear that people are who they purport to be.”

Blackwell also serves as the co-chair of the bipartisan International Foundation for Electoral Systems, which he said gives him unique insight into elections worldwide. “There is not another country in the world that uses mail-in ballots on the scale we did in 2020,” Blackwell said. “To top it off, unlike a couple states in the country that use primarily mail-in ballots, most states don’t have the competency to do it without problems.”

Blackwell said in addition to the fact no other countries use mail-in ballots to the extent the United States did in 2020, “most advise against it.”

“There is a reason why you have an election day and that is because you have people voting at this same time at the precinct level and that helps with the verification process,” Blackwell said. “The further we get from voting on the same day, the more risk we take on the chain of custody and verification processes. It’s consistent with balloting all over the globe. The same Biden clown car that gave us the Afghanistan mess wants to take control of our elections. That’s what they want to do with federalizing elections.”

Joe Biden on Tuesday said his botched withdrawal which resulted in the deaths of 13 US service members and hundreds, if not thousands of stranded Americans was an “extraordinary success.”

However, text messages between US military commanders and private citizens paint a different picture.

“We are fucking abandoning American citizens,” said an Army colonel assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division in secret text messages leaked to Just the News:

The text messages and emails were provided to Just the News by Michael Yon, a former Special Forces soldier and war correspondent who was among the private citizens working with private networks and the military to rescue stranded Americans.

Yon told Just the News that a group of Americans were abandoned at the Kabul airport, pleading for help as military officials told them they were finished with evacuations. “We had them out there waving their passport screaming, ‘I’m American,’” Yon said Tuesday while appearing on the John Solomon Reports podcast. -Just The News

“People were turned away from the gate by our own Army,” Yon said.

“You guys left American citizens at the gate of the Kabul airport,” Yon wrote Tuesday to the commander. “Three empty jets paid for by volunteers were waiting for them. You and I talked on the phone. I told you where they were. Gave you their passport images. And my email and phone number. And you left them behind.”

He added: “Great job saving yourselves. Probably get a lot of medals.”

At Least 29 Sacramento School Children Abandoned in Afghanistan, Among Thousands Still Stranded

29 Sacramento students stuck in Afghanistan, school district says

More than two dozen students from the Sacramento, California, area remain in Afghanistan after the U.S. evacuation ended earlier this week, according to San Juan Unified School District.

“We can confirm that we currently have 29 students, from 19 families, in Afghanistan,” Raj Rai, director of communication for the school district, said Tuesday, responding on behalf of Superintendent Kent Kern. “We stand ready to support these students and families in whatever way that we can.”

Earlier Tuesday, the total number of students from San Juan Unified School District still in Afghanistan was thought to be 32, but the district since learned that three students had been evacuated, he said.

The Sacramento area has one of the largest populations of Afghan immigrants in the U.S.

The last U.S. flight out of Kabul took off a minute before midnight local time Monday (3:29 p.m. ET), capping a bloody and chaotic end to America’s longest war and opening a new, uncertain chapter for Afghanistan.

Since July, the U.S. has helped to airlift more than 120,000 people out of Afghanistan, including roughly 5,500 Americans. President Joe Biden said Tuesday that roughly 100 to 200 Americans still remained in Afghanistan who have “some intention to leave,” many of whom are dual citizens.

While tens of thousands of evacuees made it out as the U.S. military withdrew, initial figures suggest that only around 8,500 of those who left in recent months were Afghans, according to numbers released by the Biden administration and estimates from advocates.

It was not clear if the students from the Sacramento area were U.S. citizens.

A spokesperson for the State Department said they could not comment on specific cases, but officials were continuing to assist U.S. citizens and their families in Afghanistan. The department was also continuing efforts to help lawful permanent residents, as well as many Afghans who “stood with us over the years” and are seeking to leave Afghanistan, the spokesperson said.

The Sacramento Bee reported that at an information session at a local high school last week, students and parents asked questions about how to get their loved ones out of Afghanistan. Humaira Hanif, 21, wiped away tears as she asked how to bring her mother to the U.S., the paper reported.

Travis Horne, communications director for Rep. Ami Bera, D-Calif., said his office was in close contact with San Juan Unified School District and had sent the information of students stuck in Afghanistan to the Department of Defense and the State Department.

“We are pushing the DOD and State for an update,” he said.

NBC San Diego station KNSD reported Tuesday that a San Diego-area family, including three students who go to schools in Cajon Valley Union School District, were also not able to make it out of the country. It was not immediately clear how many other U.S. school districts were missing students because they were unable to get out of Afghanistan.

The U.S. war in Afghanistan drew to a close Monday nearly 20 years after America invaded in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, toppling the Taliban government.

After a heavy cost in lives and a price tag of $2.3 trillion, the Taliban are back in power having swept aside the U.S.-backed government in a lightning-quick offensive that took Afghans and the West by surprise.

The U.S. hopes Americans and Afghans will be able to leave once Kabul airport is back up and running, but it remains unclear how long that will take.

ARIZONA: Muslim Family Tries to Kidnap Woman With Non-Muslim Boyfriend for Honor Killing

Amid all the discussion about the resettlement of Afghan refugees in the United States, few are focusing on the question of the compatibility of their societal mores with American culture. At this late date, we all know that such inquiries are “Islamophobic.” However, a recent incident in Arizona suggests some of the difficulties that could arise among the new arrivals. Fox 10 Phoenix reported Saturday that “police arrested six members of a Phoenix-area family they say targeted a 20-year-old relative and tried to kidnap her because they disapprove of her boyfriend, who doesn’t share their Muslim faith.” This family is Iraqi, but the Afghan refugees share the same religion, and many have the same ideas about women, marriage, and the permissibility of honor killing.

Fox reported that “the woman, who is 20 weeks pregnant, told police she was afraid her relatives will kill her because they believe she has brought dishonor to the family.” Arizona police “believe the family wanted to send the victim back to Iraq,” where she would face almost certain death. Court records “describe accusations of threats and assaults, most recently at a medical building in Avondale last week. Police said the relatives took the woman’s cell phone and purse, along with her boyfriend’s gun, during a ‘violent assault.’ The woman grabbed onto a responding officer, pleading ‘please, don’t let them take me.’”

This woman’s father, mother, three brothers and her sister, who are all “described as traditional Muslims,” were arrested. The entire family has “a history of harassment against the victim because of her relationship with a boyfriend, who is described as being of another religious faith.” Islamic law forbids Muslim women to marry non-Muslim men, although Muslim men may marry Jewish or Christian women; the idea is that the Islamic community is always growing at the expense of non-Muslim communities. For appearing to be on the path toward breaking this rule, the woman says that her family members tried to kill both her and her boyfriend.

The woman and her boyfriend moved away from the Phoenix area, but then the threatening phone calls began. One brother left this message: “This is Ali, her brother. If you don’t bring my sister back, I’m going to kidnap your sister. I’m not scared of your American laws.” Ali was relentless, declaring that “he would still find the victim even of he was in prison, and the victim was 80 years old.” It is not surprising in light of all this that the woman told police that she was afraid she was going to be killed because she had “dishonored the family.”
