FLORIDA: DeSantis Investing $10m in Semiconductor Production to Combat China

By The Geller Report

Once again, Governor Ron DeSantis is the best governor in the nation. No one is fighting harder for the American people than the great governor. When DeSantis becomes POTUS in either 2025 or 2029, he will take the fight to China and all of America’s adversaries. And he will win. #DeSantis2024!

DeSantis investing $10m in semiconductor production to combat China

By Red State Observer, January 6, 2022

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) announced a nearly $10 million investment in semiconductor production for the state of Florida to combat the United States’ reliance on China and other foreign countries for vital supplies, parts, and materials.

On Wednesday, DeSantis announced the investment whereby millions from the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund will go to Osceola County, Florida, and Valencia College to support semiconductor manufacturing.

DeSantis said the investment will support about 5,400 jobs in Florida, and Osceola County officials have suggested that tens of thousands of jobs will be supported by the investment once the infrastructure for the project is fully completed.

“Manufacturing is something that we need to do a better job of … semiconductors are a huge issue,” DeSantis said:

If you look at how the supply chain works, we are overly dependent on foreign nations, including Tawain which is a good ally of ours, but which is one that is under serious pressure from the Communist Party of China and so we have an opportunity to do more here in the United States and I think the more manufacturing of semiconductors here, the better off we’ll be. [Emphasis added]

Strength Of U.S. Dollar Slips After Poor Jobs Report

By The Geller Report

In 4 out of the last 5 months, the U.S. economy performed below expectations. But Decembers job report was the Biden Administrations worst one yet. It was gad awful. Less than half the jobs expected were created. As such, the U.S. dollar took a hit. America will not be able to withstand a second term of the Biden Administration.

This is the worst jobs report of Biden’s presidency so far.

Less than HALF the jobs expected were created.

It’s clear: His “plan” is not working!

Strength Of U.S. Dollar Slips After Poor Jobs Report

By Daily Wire, January 8th, 2022

The price of the U.S. dollar slipped on Friday following a weaker-than-expected jobs report as the U.S. economy struggles to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns.

The Department of Labor reported on Friday morning that the U.S. economy added 199,000 jobs in the month of December. The gain was roughly half of what economists predicted.

The unemployment rate dropped to 3.9%, outpacing economists’ expectations of 4.1%. The share of working adults, however, still has not returned to pre-pandemic levels as many continue to stay out of the workforce, according to Axios.

“Employers want to create new jobs, and are hiring the formerly unemployed, driving down the jobless rate,” Axios reported Friday. “But that isn’t coaxing more people to work. The share of adults in the labor force was unchanged in December and remains 1.5 percentage points below pre-pandemic levels.”

The report preceded a dip in the purchasing power of the U.S. dollar, which fell in value compared to a basket of other currencies. As Reuters reported:

The dollar index fell 0.269% at 96.001. Even with Friday’s weakness, the dollar was still on track for a weekly gain, its first in three weeks.

The euro was up 0.3% to $1.1325 as it strengthened against the greenback in the wake of the payrolls report, after showing little reaction to data showing euro zone inflation rose to 5% in December.

Euro zone policymakers have said they expect inflation to gradually slow down in 2022 and a rate hike will likely not be needed this year.

The Japanese yen strengthened 0.12% versus the greenback at 115.71 per dollar. The yen has taken the brunt of the damage while the greenback has strengthened recently, with the dollar hitting a five-year high versus the yen earlier this week.

Sterling was poised for its third straight weekly gain and was last trading at $1.356, up 0.24% on the day, even after data showed growth in Britain’s construction sector cooled in December as the Omicron variant of coronavirus spread.

Biden reacted to the jobs report on Friday, ignoring the poor jobs added number and instead focusing on the unemployment rate.

“It’s a historic day for our economic recovery,” Biden said, according to Fox Business. “Today’s national unemployment rate fell below 4% to 3.9%, the sharpest one-year drop in unemployment in United States history … Years faster than experts said we’d be able to do it, and we have added 6.4 million new jobs since January of last year.”

Biden also touted that from the time he took office in January 2021, the U.S. “went from 20 million people on unemployment rolls to under 2 million on the unemployment rolls today.”

“This is the economy I promised and hoped for, for the American people,” the president said. “Where the biggest benefits go to the people who work the hardest and who are more often left behind. The people who have been ignored before. The people who just want a decent chance to build a decent life for their families.”

What Is the Great Reset?

By Imprimis Digest

The following is adapted from a talk delivered at Hillsdale College on November 7, 2021, during a Center for Constructive Alternatives conference on “The Great Reset.”

Is the Great Reset a conspiracy theory imagining a vast left-wing plot to establish a totalitarian one-world government? No. Despite the fact that some people may have spun conspiracy theories based on it—with some reason, as we will see—the Great Reset is real.

Indeed, just last year, Klaus Schwab, founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF)—a famous organization made up of the world’s political, economic, and cultural elites that meets annually in Davos, Switzerland—and Thierry Malleret, co-founder and main author of the Monthly Barometer, published a book called COVID-19: The Great Reset. In the book, they define the Great Reset as a means of addressing the “weaknesses of capitalism” that were purportedly exposed by the COVID pandemic.

But the idea of the Great Reset goes back much further. It can be traced at least as far back as the inception of the WEF, originally founded as the European Management Forum, in 1971. In that same year, Schwab, an engineer and economist by training, published his first book, Modern Enterprise Management in Mechanical Engineering. It was in this book that Schwab first introduced the concept he would later call “stakeholder capitalism,” arguing “that the management of a modern enterprise must serve not only shareholders but all stakeholders to achieve long-term growth and prosperity.” Schwab and the WEF have promoted the idea of stakeholder capitalism ever since. They can take credit for the stakeholder and public-private partnership rhetoric and policies embraced by governments, corporations, non-governmental organizations, and international governance bodies worldwide.

The specific phrase “Great Reset” came into general circulation over a decade ago, with the publication of a 2010 book, The Great Reset, by American urban studies scholar Richard Florida. Written in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis, Florida’s book argued that the 2008 economic crash was the latest in a series of Great Resets—including the Long Depression of the 1870s and the Great Depression of the 1930s—which he defined as periods of paradigm-shifting systemic innovation.

Four years after Florida’s book was published, at the 2014 annual meeting of the WEF, Schwab declared: “What we want to do in Davos this year . . . is to push the reset button”—and subsequently the image of a reset button would appear on the WEF’s website.

In 2018 and 2019, the WEF organized two events that became the primary inspiration for the current Great Reset project—and also, for obvious reasons, fresh fodder for conspiracy theorists. (Don’t blame me for the latter—all I’m doing is relating the historical facts.)

In May 2018, the WEF collaborated with the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security to conduct “CLADE X,” a simulation of a national pandemic response. Specifically, the exercise simulated the outbreak of a novel strain of a human parainfluenza virus, with genetic elements of the Nipah virus, called CLADE X. The simulation ended with a news report stating that in the face of CLADE X, without effective vaccines, “experts tell us that we could eventually see 30 to 40 million deaths in the U.S. and more than 900 million around the world—twelve percent of the global population.” Clearly, preparation for a global pandemic was in order.

In October 2019, the WEF collaborated with Johns Hopkins and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation on another pandemic exercise, “Event 201,” which simulated an international response to the outbreak of a novel coronavirus. This was two months before the COVID outbreak in China became news and five months before the World Health Organization declared it a pandemic, and it closely resembled the future COVID scenario, including incorporating the idea of asymptomatic spread.

The CLADE X and Event 201 simulations anticipated almost every eventuality of the actual COVID crisis, most notably the responses by governments, health agencies, the media, tech companies, and elements of the public. The responses and their effects included worldwide lockdowns, the collapse of businesses and industries, the adoption of biometric surveillance technologies, an emphasis on social media censorship to combat “misinformation,” the flooding of social and legacy media with “authoritative sources,” widespread riots, and mass unemployment.

In addition to being promoted as a response to COVID, the Great Reset is promoted as a response to climate change. In 2017, the WEF published a paper entitled, “We Need to Reset the Global Operating System to Achieve the [United Nations Sustainable Development Goals].” On June 13, 2019, the WEF signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations to form a partnership to advance the “UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.” Shortly after that, the WEF published the “United Nations-World Economic Forum Strategic Partnership Framework for the 2030 Agenda,” promising to help finance the UN’s climate change agenda and committing the WEF to help the UN “meet the needs of the Fourth Industrial Revolution,” including providing assets and expertise for “digital governance.”

In June 2020, at its 50th annual meeting, the WEF announced the Great Reset’s official launch, and a month later Schwab and Malleret published their book on COVID and the Great Reset. The book declared that COVID represents an “opportunity [that] can be seized”; that “we should take advantage of this unprecedented opportunity to reimagine our world”; that “the moment must be seized to take advantage of this unique window of opportunity”; and that “[f]or those fortunate enough to find themselves in industries ‘naturally’ resilient to the pandemic”—think here of Big Tech companies like Apple, Google, Facebook, and Amazon—“the crisis was not only more bearable, but even a source of profitable opportunities at a time of distress for the majority.”

The Great Reset aims to usher in a bewildering economic amalgam—Schwab’s stakeholder capitalism—which I have called “corporate socialism” and Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben has called “communist capitalism.”

In brief, stakeholder capitalism involves the behavioral modification of corporations to benefit not shareholders, but stakeholders—individuals and groups that stand to benefit or lose from corporate behavior. Stakeholder capitalism requires not only corporate responses to pandemics and ecological issues such as climate change, “but also rethinking  [corporations’] commitments to already-vulnerable communities within their ecosystems.” This is the “social justice” aspect of the Great Reset. To comply with that, governments, banks, and asset managers use the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) index to squeeze non-woke corporations and businesses out of the market. The ESG index is essentially a social credit score that is used to drive ownership and control of production away from the non-woke or non-compliant.

One of the WEF’s many powerful “strategic partners,” BlackRock, Inc., the world’s largest asset manager, is solidly behind the stakeholder model. In a 2021 letter to CEOs, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink declared that “climate risk is investment risk,” and “the creation of sustainable index investments has enabled a massive acceleration of capital towards companies better prepared to address climate risk.” The COVID pandemic, Fink wrote, accelerated the flow of funds toward sustainable investments:

We have long believed that our clients, as shareholders in your company, will benefit if you can create enduring, sustainable value for all of your stakeholders. . . . As more and more investors choose to tilt their investments towards sustainability-focused companies, the tectonic shift we are seeing will accelerate further. And because this will have such a dramatic impact on how capital is allocated, every management team and board will need to consider how this will impact their company’s stock.

Fink’s letter is more than a report to CEOs. It is an implicit threat: be woke or else.

In their recent book on the Great Reset, Schwab and Malleret pit “stakeholder capitalism” against “neoliberalism,” defining the latter as “a corpus of ideas and policies . . . favouring competition over solidarity, creative destruction over government intervention, and economic growth over social welfare.” In other words, “neoliberalism” refers to the free enterprise system. In opposing that system, stakeholder capitalism entails corporate cooperation with the state and vastly increased government intervention in the economy.

Proponents of the Great Reset hold “neoliberalism” responsible for our economic woes. But in truth, the governmental favoring of industries and players within industries—what used to be known as corporatism or economic fascism—has been the real source of what Schwab and his allies at the WEF decry.

While approved corporations are not necessarily monopolies, the tendency of the Great Reset is toward monopolization—vesting as much control over production and distribution in as few favored corporations as possible, while eliminating industries and producers deemed non-essential or inimical. To bring this reset about, Schwab writes, “[e]very country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed.”

Another way of describing the goal of the Great Reset is “capitalism with Chinese characteristics”—a two-tiered economy, with profitable monopolies and the state on top and socialism for the majority below.

Several decades ago, as China’s growing reliance on the for-profit sectors of its economy could no longer be credibly denied by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), its leadership approved the slogan “socialism with Chinese characteristics” to describe its economic system. Formulated by Deng Xiaoping, the phrase was meant to rationalize the CCP’s allowance of for-profit development under a socialist political system. The CCP considered the privatization of the Chinese economy to be a temporary phase—lasting as long as 100 years if necessary—on the way to a communist society. Party leaders maintain that this approach has been necessary in China because socialism was introduced too early there, when China was a backward agrarian country. China needed a capitalist booster shot.

Stripped of its socialist ideological pretensions, the Chinese system amounts to a socialist or communist state increasingly funded by capitalist economic development. The difference between the former Soviet Union and contemporary China is that when it became obvious that a socialist economy had failed, the former gave up its socialist economic pretenses, while the latter has not.

The Great Reset represents the development of the Chinese system in the West, but in reverse. Whereas the Chinese political class began with a socialist political system and then introduced privately held for-profit production, the West began with capitalism and is now implementing a Chinese-style political system. This Chinese-style system includes vastly increased state intervention in the economy, on the one hand, and on the other, the kind of authoritarian measures that the Chinese government uses to control its population.

Schwab and Malleret write that if “the past five centuries in Europe and America” have taught us anything, it is that “acute crises contribute to boosting the power of the state. It’s always been the case and there is no reason it should be different with the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The draconian lockdown measures employed by Western governments managed to accomplish goals of which corporate socialists in the WEF could only dream—above all, the destruction of small businesses, eliminating competitors for corporate monopolists favored by the state. In the U.S. alone, according to the Foundation for Economic Education, millions of small businesses closed their doors due to the lockdowns. Yelp data indicates that 60 percent of those closures are now permanent. Meanwhile companies like Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google enjoyed record gains.

Other developments that advance the Great Reset agenda have included unfettered immigration, travel restrictions for otherwise legal border crossing, the Federal Reserve’s unrestrained printing of money and the subsequent inflation, increased taxation, increased dependence on the state, broken supply chains, the restrictions and job losses due to vaccine mandates, and the prospect of personal carbon allowances.

Such policies reflect the “fairness” aspect of the Great Reset—fairness requires lowering the economic status of people in wealthier nations like the U.S. relative to that of people in poorer regions of the world. One of the functions of woke ideology is to make the majority in developed countries feel guilty about their wealth, which the elites aim to reset downwards—except, one notices, for the elites themselves, who need to be rich in order to fly in their private jets to Davos each year.

The Great Reset’s corporate stakeholder model overlaps with its governance and geopolitical model: states and favored corporations are combined in public-private partnerships and together have control of governance. This corporate-state hybrid is largely unaccountable to the constituents of national governments.

Governance is not only increasingly privatized, but also and more importantly, corporations are deputized as major additions to governments and intergovernmental bodies. The state is thereby extended, enhanced, and augmented by the addition of enormous corporate assets. As such, corporations become what I have called “governmentalities”—otherwise private organizations wielded as state apparatuses, with no obligation to answer to pesky voters. Since these corporations are multinational, the state essentially becomes globalist, whether or not a one-world government is ever formalized.

As if the economic and governmental resets were not dramatic enough, the technological reset reads like a dystopian science fiction novel. It is based on the Fourth Industrial Revolution—or 4-IR for short. The first, second, and third industrial revolutions were the mechanical, electrical, and digital revolutions. The 4-IR marks the convergence of existing and emerging fields, including Big Data, artificial intelligence, machine learning, quantum computing, genetics, nanotechnology, and robotics. The foreseen result will be the merging of the physical, digital, and biological worlds, which presents a challenge to the ontologies by which we understand ourselves and the world, including the definition of a human being.

There is nothing original about this. Transhumanists and Singularitarians (prophets of technological singularity) such as Ray Kurzweil forecasted these and other revolutionary developments long ago. What’s different about the globalists’ vision of 4-IR is the attempt to harness it to the ends of the Great Reset.

If already existing 4-IR developments are any indication of the future, then the claim that it will contribute to human happiness is false. These developments include Internet algorithms that feed users prescribed news and advertisements and downrank or exclude banned content; algorithms that censor social media content and consign “dangerous” individuals and organizations to digital gulags; “keyword warrants” based on search engine inputs; apps that track and trace COVID violations and report offenders to the police; robot police with scanners to identify and round up the unvaccinated and other dissidents; and smart cities where residents are digital entities to be monitored, surveilled, and recorded, and where data on their every move is collected, collated, stored, and attached to a digital identity and a social credit score.

In short, 4-IR technologies subject human beings to a kind of technological management that makes surveillance by the NSA look like child’s play. Schwab goes so far as to cheer developments that aim to connect human brains directly to the cloud for the sake of “data mining” our thoughts and memories. If successful, this would constitute a technological mastery over decision-making that would threaten human autonomy and undermine free will.

The 4-IR seeks to accelerate the merging of humans and machines, resulting in a world in which all information, including genetic information, is shared, and every action, thought, and motivation is known, predicted, and possibly precluded. Unless taken out of the hands of corporate-socialist technocrats, the 4-IR will eventually lead to a virtual and inescapable prison of body and mind.

In terms of the social order, the Great Reset promises inclusion in a shared destiny. But the subordination of so-called “netizens” implies economic and political disenfranchisement, a hyper-vigilance over self and others, and social isolation—or what Hannah Arendt called “organized loneliness”—on a global scale. This organized loneliness is already manifest in lockdowns, masking, social distancing, and the social exclusion of the unvaccinated. The title of the Ad Council’s March 2020 public service announcement—“Alone Together”—perfectly captures this sense of organized loneliness.

In my recent book, Google Archipelago, I argued that leftist authoritarianism is the political ideology and modus operandi of what I call Big Digital, which is on the leading edge of a nascent world system. Big Digital is the communications, ideological, and technological arm of an emerging corporate-socialist totalitarianism. The Great Reset is the name that has since been given to the project of establishing this world system.

Just as Schwab and the WEF predicted, the COVID crisis has accelerated the Great Reset. Monopolistic corporations have consolidated their grip on the economy from above, while socialism continues to advance for the rest of us below. In partnership with Big Digital, Big Pharma, the mainstream media, national and international health agencies, and compliant populations, hitherto democratic Western states—think especially of Australia, New Zealand, and Austria—are being transformed into totalitarian regimes modeled after China.

But let me end on a note of hope. Because the goals of the Great Reset depend on the obliteration not only of free markets, but of individual liberty and free will, it is, perhaps ironically, unsustainable. Like earlier attempts at totalitarianism, the Great Reset is doomed to ultimate failure. That doesn’t mean, however, that it won’t, again like those earlier attempts, leave a lot of destruction in its wake—which is all the more reason to oppose it now and with all our might.

The Democrat Party and The Red [Marxist] — Green [Islamist] Alliance

By Dr. Rich Swier

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy.” – Winston Churchill, The River Wars.

“Communism has never come to power in a country that was not disrupted by war or corruption, or both.” – John F. Kennedy

Each morning I wake up hoping Democrats stop embracing absurd policies only to be disappointed.

The most recent example is an amendment introduced by Republican members in Congress to stop a check for $1,400 being sent to convicted terrorist Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. On April 15, 2013 Dzhokhar and his brother Tamerlan set off a bomb at the Boston Marathon murdering three people and maiming 265 others. Both were followers of Mohammed.

Jessica Chasmar from Fox News reported:

Senate Republicans are slamming their Democratic counterparts for blocking an amendment last March that would have prevented prisoners from receiving stimulus checks, after it was revealed Wednesday that Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev received $1,400 in federal relief.

“Senate Democrats blocked my amendment to prevent prisoners, like the Boston Marathon bomber, from receiving government stimulus checks,” Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “It is an insult to victims.”

Senator Tom Cotton tweeted:

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Boston Bomber, murdered three people and terrorized a city.

He’ll be getting a $1,400 stimulus check as part of the Democrats’ “COVID relief” bill.

— Tom Cotton (@TomCottonAR) March 6, 2021

But this isn’t the first and only time Democrats have funded terrorists.

QUESTION: Why?

ANSWER: The Red-Green Alliance

The Marxist (Red) Islamist (Green) Alliance

I personally witnessed a Red-Green Alliance in action while stationed with the 1st Infantry Division (FWD) in Neu-Ulm, Germany in from 1970 to 1974.

U.S. Army Europe (today known as United States Army Europe and Africa), headquartered in Wiesbaden, Germany, was at that time confronted by two deadly terrorist organizations.

The first was known as the Red Army Faction, also known as the Baader–Meinhof Group or Baader–Meinhof Gang. The Baader–Meinhof Gang was a West German far-left militant organization founded in 1970. The Baader–Meinhof Gang were killing public officials, robbing banks, attacking places frequented by U.S. Army soldiers and kidnapping both German politicians and the children of Americans stationed in Germany.

The second group was the Marxist Black September Organization. The terrorist Black September Organization, Arabic Aylūl al-Aswad, was a faction of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO). Black September attacked the Olympic Village in Munich, Germany on September 5-6, 1972. My unit was called out to provide additional security at the Olympic Village after the attack.

What is most interesting is that both the Black September Organization and Baader–Meinhof Gang were trained by the PLO.

I learned a harsh lesson from these personal experiences, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure when it comes to stopping the followers of Marx and Mohammed.

On September 17th, 2013 Tom Trento, Florida talk show host, author and internationally known speaker on national security issues, warned about the Red (Marxist) and Green (Islamist) alliance. Watch:

The Marxist Mohammed Alliance in the U.S. Congress

Today’s poster children for the Democrat supported Red-Green Alliance are Representatives Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar.

Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez is a Democratic-Socialist. Ilhan Omar is a follower of Mohammed.

Both have made their marks on the Democrat Party and their influence is  both significant and growing.

Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez made her mark by introducing the Green New Deal, which has now been fully embraced by the Democrat Party and is part of Biden’s Build Back Better agenda. Click here to read articles about the Green New Deal.

The Green New Deal will not only eliminate fossil fuels but also begin the process of nationalizing all forms of industry. A Marxist goal.

Ilhan Omar has introduced legislation that would make any criticism of Islam a federal crime. Omar’s support for the PLO and other Islamic groups is well known. Click here to read articles about the myth of Islamophobia.

The Biden administration is now funding the Palestinians. On April 7th, 2021 the BBC News reported that Biden administration had restored $235m in U.S. aid to Palestinians.

According to the BBC:

Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the US plans included $75m in economic and development assistance in the West Bank and Gaza, $10m for peacebuilding programmes through the US Agency for International Development (USAid), and $150m in humanitarian assistance for the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

The Bottom Line

History is repeating itself. We are seeing the rise of Marxism and support for Islamists in our schools, colleges, universities, government and via organizations like the Council on American Islamic Relations.

The Red-Green Alliance is growing in political, social and cultural strength globally and in the United States.

While sending a check to a terrorist is bad, even worse is the efforts to support any use of tax dollars to support America’s enemies, foreign or domestic.

I lived through the Iran Hostage Crisis which ended on the day Ronald Reagan became President of the United States. The hostages were released on January  21, 1981 just a few hours after President Reagan’s inauguration address.

I am concerned as we enter into negotiations with Iran, yet again, that we will see something much worse – Iran becoming a member of the nuclear club.

In his book The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order Samuel P. Huntington wrote,

“Islam’s borders are bloody and so are its innards. The fundamental problem for the West is not Islamic fundamentalism. It is Islam, a different civilisation whose people are convinced of the superiority of their culture and are obsessed with the inferiority of their power.”

Huntington also wrote,

“It is my hypothesis that the fundamental source of conflict in this new world will not be primarily ideological or primarily economic. The great divisions among humankind and the dominating source of conflict will be cultural. Nation-states will remain the most powerful actors in world affairs, but the principal conflicts of global politics will occur between nations and groups of different civilizations. The clash of civilizations will dominate global politics. The fault lines between civilizations will be the battle lines of the future.”

We are now in a clash of civilizations. This clash goes from Washington, D.C. in both houses of Congress to the headquarters of the United Nations in New York City, to the European Union in Brussels, Belgium to the Middle East and beyond.

God help those who continue to expose the truth about the Red-Green Alliance.

Trump to Launch His Social Media App in February

By The Geller Report

The mainstream social media platforms are ruthlessly censoring conservatives. As such, President Trump’s social media platform could be a game changer. It will enable conservatives to have the ability to express their views to a large audience. President Trump’s 150 million plus social media supporters must (and will) support his social site. Expect alternative social media platforms to explode in popularity between now and 2024.

I predict this will be YUUUUGE. I am all in.

(Reuters) -Former President Donald Trump’s new media venture plans to launch its social media app Truth Social on Feb. 21, according to an Apple Inc App Store listing.

TRUTH Social, the Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) alternative to Twitter, is available for pre-order before going live on the U.S. Presidents’ Day holiday.

Similar to Twitter, the app offers features to follow other people and trending topics, according to demo photos. Its message equivalent of a tweet will be dubbed “truth”.

The app’s launch would come 13 months after Meta Platforms Inc’s Facebook and Twitter banned Trump for encouraging his supporters to participate in the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol based on unsubstantiated claims of widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election.

Marking the one-year anniversary of the attack, U.S. President Joe Biden said on Thursday that his predecessor’s false claims could unravel the rule of law and subvert future elections.

TMTG and Apple did not respond to requests for comment, but a source familiar with the matter confirmed that Feb. 21 is the planned launch date of the app.

The launch is expected to be the first of three stages in TMTG’s development. The second would be a subscription video-on-demand service called TMTG+ with entertainment, news and podcasts, according to the company website. A November investor presentation indicated that TMTG also wants to launch a podcast network.

TMTG is valued at $5.3 billion based on the stock price of Digital World Acquisition Corp, which rose 20% after Reuters reported the app’s listing on the App Store. TMTG agreed in October to merge with the blank-check firm at a valuation of $875 million.

Trump supporters and retail investors have snapped up Digital World’s stock, betting that Trump’s popularity with his Republican political base will translate into commercial runaway success.

The blank-check acquisition deal faces regulatory risk. Democratic U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren asked Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Gary Gensler last month to investigate the planned merger for potential violations of securities laws around disclosure. The SEC has declined to comment on whether it plans any action.

TMTG last month raised an additional $1 billion from private investors.

Trump canceled a news conference at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida that had been scheduled for Jan. 6, marking the one-year anniversary of the Capitol attack. He said he will instead deliver remarks at a rally in Arizona on Jan. 15.

Biden Wrecking Ball: Over 3 Million Jobs Lost Due To Employer Closures Or Lost Business

By The Geller Report

Destroying your livelihood, your ability to make a living, is a form of murder.

The Biden Effect: Over 3 Million Jobs Lost Due To Employer Closures Or Lost Business

A new report revealed on CNBC Friday that 3.1 million people have been unable to work due to their employer closing or losing business as inflation and government regulations continue to cripple the job market.

The information was discussed during a “CNBC Investing Club with Jim Cramer” report on Friday morning.

“3.1 million people reported they’ve been unable to work because their employer closed or lost business,” Cramer said.

“This is what I’m hearing from a lot of CEOs is that basically, look, we can’t staff, or we’re looking for people, or a lot of our customers are going under,” he added.

The report also comes as CNBC reported the nation’s economy added just 199,000 jobs in December, falling far short of expectations.

— CNBC (@CNBC) January 7, 2022

The December drop was largely blamed on the large surge of COVID-19 cases in December.

“The new year is off to a rocky start,” wrote Nick Bunker, economic research director at job placement site Indeed told CNBC. “These less than stellar numbers were recorded before the omicron variant started to spread significantly in the United States. Hopefully the current wave of the pandemic will lead to limited labor market damage. The labor market is still recovering, but a more sustainable comeback is only possible in a post-pandemic environment.”

Rising inflation was another issue cited in the report.

“Average hourly earnings rose more than expected as the U.S. sees its fastest inflation pace in nearly 40 years. Wages climbed 0.6% for the month and were up 4.7% year over year. That compares with respective estimates of 0.4% and 4.2%,” CNBC said.

Related to the lower than expected job numbers in December was the growing number of vaccine mandates and COVID-19 restrictions in American workplaces. Some companies reinstated mask mandates in December in response to the surge in cases related to the Omicron variant, a factor that may have lowered customer traffic and impacted jobs.

Other businesses closed storefronts temporarily or limited services during December. One notable example was Apple. It temporarily shuttered some locations, including ending in-store shopping in its New York City locations in December……

January 6th: One Year Ago A New Hoax Was Born

By The Geller Report

For four years, we suffered through a Russia hoax in order to cripple the people’s president.

Four years later, a fictionalized ‘insurrection’ drummed up by Democrats and their stooges in the FBI and DOJ was created in order to stop dead the exposure of the greatest political steal in human history.

By: Tristan Justice, The Federalist, January

After spending a year justifying brazen acts of routine political violence, Democrats relished the opportunity to scapegoat Republicans into being complicit in the same. Only Republicans aren’t: the riot at the Capitol remains roundly condemned, and Democrats invented a new conspiracy theory to claim otherwise.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s first step to adopt Jan. 6 as a new national holiday on the same pedestal as 9/11 began with a snap impeachment of an outgoing president for “incitement of insurrection.” Then-President Donald Trump, the story goes, corralled his supporters in Washington, inflamed the mob, and ordered them to overthrow Congress in an attempted coup.

“The president of the United States summoned this mob, assembled the mob, and lit the flame of this attack,” said Wyoming Republican lawmaker Liz Cheney in a statement announcing her intent to impeach. “Everything that followed was his doing.”

Cheney, whose crusade to recruit House Republicans in favor of impeachment only drew at most nine members, conveniently omitted that the assault on the Capitol started before Trump had finished a speech wherein the president explicitly demanded supporters protest “peacefully.” It wouldn’t be the last time the Wyoming representative would make up her own timeline.

Democrats pushed onward with their proceedings using fabricated evidence made up by The New York Times that a Capitol police officer was killed in the turmoil by way of a fire extinguisher. The reporting used to label the riot “deadly” beyond the police killing of Ashli Babbitt and mysterious death of Rosanne Boyland was later stealthily corrected a week after the trial’s conclusion. The officer, Brian Sicknick, died of natural causes, according to the Washington D.C. chief medical examiner in April.

Trump was ultimately acquitted in February, but the hoax went on. House Democrats immediately demanded a 9/11-style commission to probe the riot at the focus of a month-long impeachment. After refusing to probe legitimate acts of political violence beyond the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, including the shooting of Republicans at a congressional baseball practice or the Good Friday attack this year, GOP lawmakers blocked its creation.

Republicans rightfully saw what it was: the 2021 version of 2017’s special counsel probe run by Robert Mueller, and another excuse to use the weapons of law enforcement against Democrats’ political enemies. After the two-year investigation run by a team of Democrats with unlimited resources, Mueller’s team found not one person, let alone Trump himself, had colluded with the Russian government to capture the pinnacle of power.

By the fall, Democrats launched their first impeachment anyway over another made-up scandal emanating from a temporary hold on Ukrainian military aid. Trump, they said, withheld nearly $400 million in aid in exchange for a foreign government’s investigation into the family of political opponents. By 2020, Trump stood acquitted.

While not established as a chartered commission, Mueller 3.0 arrived by mid-summer in the form of a Select Committee with members hand-picked by Pelosi, who took what she admitted to be an “unprecedented” move of barring Republican appointments. Pelosi denied participation to GOP Indiana Congressman Jim Banks, appointed by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, as ranking member, alongside Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan. Under Pelosi’s orders, Reps. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., and Cheney, who was tapped to serve as vice chair, filled their place.

While at the dead commission’s inception Democrats revealed no interest in a broad examination of political violence in D.C., the committee’s work over its six-month lifespan has revealed even less interest in the riot at the Capitol. Instead, the committee has followed through on its central purpose of seeking retribution against political dissidents while offering a smokescreen to Pelosi’s own culpability in the Jan. 6 riot over her failure to reinforce Capitol security. The committee’s chairman, Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., admitted to CNN last summer the probe had no interest in the speaker’s negligence.

“If you look at the charge that we have in the resolution, it says the facts and circumstances around January 6. I don’t see the speaker being part and parcel to that,” Thompson said.

With more than 100 subpoenas issued by Pelosi’s deputies, their authority which to do so remains questionable, a vast majority have targeted individuals with no connection to the Capitol turmoil. Instead, the committee has sought to review telecom records of private individuals, including many for their mere association with a constitutionally protected same-day White House protest.

The committee’s performative outrage came on display at its first hearing wherein members offered tears and condolences to Capitol police officers while represented by activist attorneys from the Democrats’ past routine hoaxes. There were no tears from the same lawmakers in the prior year’s Summer of Violence that resulted in “some 15 times more injured police officers, 23 times as many arrests, and estimated damages in dollar terms up to 1,300 times more costly than those of the Capitol riot.”

Did any of these politicians cry when the capital looked like this last summer?

Did they even care? https://t.co/r99pcI8D4M pic.twitter.com/fpWbxkft62

— Tristan Justice (@JusticeTristan) July 27, 2021

Members on the committee now prosecuting those who dared question the validity of election results also possess their own history of objecting to electoral certification. Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland objected to Trump’s electoral certification in 2017, and Pelosi did the same of George W. Bush in 2004.

The committee’s grand revelations, meanwhile, have so far only reinforced the image of a White House more concerned about maintaining security and public peace than Speaker Pelosi. In December, the probe released a trove of documents obtained through a subpoena of former Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows

“Mr. Meadows sent an email to an individual about the events on January 6 and said that the National Guard would be present to ‘protect pro Trump people’ and that many more would be available on standby,” the Select Committee wrote. This was conveyed by its members and a complicit press as an unearthed scandal.

The probe went on last month to fabricate text messages again, and again, and Cheney invented her own timeline to indict Trump as waiting “187 minutes” to do anything about the riot 2 miles down the road.

“The violence was evident to all — it was covered in real time by almost every news channel,” Cheney said. “But, for 187 minutes, President Trump refused to act when action by our president was required, indeed essential, and compelled by his oath to our Constitution.”

Except an honest examination of the day’s timeline revealed Trump’s first statement came within 25 minutes of the first building breached, far from a president who relished the chaos.

NASCAR Rejects Brandon Brown’s ‘Let’s Go, Brandon’ Car

By The Geller Report

Talk about spitting in the face of your sports-fan base.

NASCAR Rejects Brandon Brown’s ‘Let’s Go, Brandon’ Car

NASCAR has officially canceled driver Brandon Brown’s sponsorship deal with the “Let’s Go Brandon” cryptocurrency purveyor.

By: Breitbart, January 6, 2022:

At the end of December, Brown announced that he was signing a deal for LGBcoin to sponsor his race team going forward.

Brown later revealed that NASCAR sent a written letter approving the deal, so they went forward and even spent the money to make up the car’s LGBcoin paint scheme.

But on Jan. 3, NASCAR abruptly put a halt to the deal, telling Brown that the decision to allow the sponsorship needed to be “reviewed at a higher level” in the NASCAR leadership.

Now it appears that NASCAR has officially denied Brown’s request to sanction to LGBcoin sponsorship deal, according to the Washington Times.

NASCAR claims that, as far back as November, they made it clear that no wording or imagery referencing the “Let’s Go, Brandon” chant would be allowed, according to the Washington Post.

“NASCAR on Tuesday decided against approving a sponsorship based on the anti-President Biden slogan ‘Let’s go, Brandon,’ according to a NASCAR official with direct knowledge of the deliberations,” the Washington Post reported.

Further, the official told the Post that NASCAR’s decision was “not a reversal … but the governing body’s first and final word on the matter,” contradicting reports that the racing organization had initially approved the deal.

Regardless of the timing, NASCAR clearly became spooked by the subtle insult to Joe Biden that the phrase “Let’s Go Brandon” represents.

The phrase has become a popular chant at events of all sorts and is a form of protest against Joe Biden. It was accidentally originated last October when NBC NASCAR reporter Kelli Stavast fraudulently claimed on live television that a crowd chanting “F*ck Joe Biden” was actually chanting “Let’s Go, Brandon” to praise Brown, who had just become the Talladega winner.

— Sn00pster 🚨 (@sn00pdad) October 3, 2021

After the chant, Brown claimed that he was afraid that his unwitting part in the creation of the anti-Biden chant would hurt his ability to get sponsors for his racing team. But by December, he obviously decided to embrace the chant with his LGBcoin deal.

Of Insurrections and Threats to Democracy

By The Daily Skirmish – Liberato.US

As long as the Democrats are all hopped up about Law & Order today, let’s see if they’ll do something about the gargantuan criminal monster they created.  I’m talking about the Soros DAs, the prosecutors who won’t prosecute.  They are a threat to democracy.

Manhattan’s new DA Alvin Bragg has taken it upon himself to ignore the state legislature and change the laws so that many crimes no longer carry jail sentences.  He’s doing this in the name of “fairness and safety”.  That’s pretty cheeky, don’t you think?  He is also imposing ‘incarceration impact statements’, meaning prosecutors can’t recommend prison terms if it will make it harder for defendants to get a job or they will suffer racially disparate outcomes in the future.  He also changed the law where it allows sentences of life without parole.  He unilaterally limited punishment in those cases to a maximum of 20 years.

Bragg claims all this will make the city safer because criminals will find it easier to reintegrate into society.  Maybe that will actually happen in a handful of cases where the criminal wouldn’t eventually straighten out anyway, but what about the rest of the cases where criminals have no intention of reforming?  They will receive kid glove treatment under Bragg’s policies and thus be incentivized to commit more crimes.  What’s the net?

Police unions did not hold back in their criticism.  “In Bragg’s Manhattan, you can resist arrest, deal drugs, obstruct arrests, and even carry a gun and get away with it,” one said.  Another said this is all very demoralizing for the police.  “Police officers don’t want to be sent out to enforce laws that the district attorneys won’t prosecute and there are already too many people who believe that they can commit crimes, resist arrest, interfere with police officers, and face zero consequences.”

In Seattle, where crime is spiking, police are allowed to go to the scene where a stolen vehicle is reported, surround the vehicle, and draw their guns.  That’s it.  They’re not allowed to pursue the vehicle if the car thief drives away, as just happened in a case this week.  But don’t worry, under the logic of the Soros DAs, the poor oppressed car thief should be allowed to keep the car because it’s a crime of poverty.  The car thief needs the car, and the rich owner of the car has insurance and can replace the car.  In other words, the car thief wins because the car thief is a class hero and everybody else loses because they are class enemies, just like in communist countries.  I defy you to tell me what democracy can survive if those are the rules of the game.

The Soros DA in San Francisco has been in office two years.  He has made it easier for violent and non-violent offenders to get released, but, to hear him tell it, recent smash-and-grab robberies are not his fault.  It’s society’s fault because society doesn’t prevent these crimes before they happen.   Let me see if I’ve got this right.  Prosecutors shouldn’t have to prosecute, because there shouldn’t be any crime in the first place.  It is society that is bad, not criminals who are bad.  So I guess that means the criminals should be prosecuting US for giving THEM a hard time when it is US who are bad.  I feel so much better now that I understand just how bad I’ve been all this time, including the two times robbers have stuck a gun in my face and gotten away with it.

By the way, the San Francisco DA faces a recall election next June.  I hope San Francisco voters come to their senses and kick this guy out.   It’s not impossible.  In November, voters in Seattle rejected a candidate for City Attorney who wanted to abolish the police and prisons entirely.

However, a recall effort against the Soros DA in Los Angeles failed last year.  One consequence is that a murderer who received a 50 year sentence is free after just six years.  The Soros DA did not even have the decency to tell the victim’s family the early release was in the works.  It’s not the first time he sought a reduced sentence for a murderer.  So, apparently, murderers are class heroes in this guy’s book and everybody else just has to suck it up.

If you’re worried about insurrection today, you should worry about the Soros DAs who are overthrowing the criminal justice system in cities around the country.  If you don’t want to see the death of democracy, then you need to mobilize against the Soros DAs who ignore state legislatures, turn criminals into class heroes who always win no matter what, and you the voters into chumps who should just keep paying big salaries to prosecutors who won’t prosecute because some billionaire wants to turn your cities into cesspools.

Here’s Why San Francisco is Experiencing a Shoplifting Surge That’s Putting Some Stores Out of Business

By Foundation for Economic Education (FEE)

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what’s going on here.

“I’m new to San Francisco,” New York Times journalist Thomas Fuller told a grocery store clerk shortly after moving to the city. “Is it optional to pay for things here?”

It sounds like an absurd thing to ask, but Fuller explains in a new article that he was genuinely forced to wonder what was going on after he witnessed people walk into Walgreens and Safeway, grab stuff, and walk out. He says that the problem has only gotten worse in recent years—and is now literally forcing businesses to close their doors.

“Representatives from Walgreens said that thefts at its stores in San Francisco were four times the chain’s national average, and that it had closed 17 stores, largely because the scale of thefts had made business untenable,” Fuller reports. Meanwhile, CVS told him that San Francisco had become “one of the epicenters of organized retail crime” and that the chain has scaled back its security guards’ shoplifting enforcement because it’s become so dangerous.

You might understandably be wondering: What the heck is going on?

One of the richest cities in America is struggling with sticky fingers. https://t.co/bgliOnHFp1

— NYT National News (@NYTNational) May 21, 2021

In 2014, a ballot referendum passed that downgraded the theft of property less than $950 in value from a felony charge to a misdemeanor. In the years since, enforcement of shoplifting charges has waned significantly.

“It has become part of the landscape,” local politician Ahsha Safaí remarked of the shoplifting. “People say, ‘Oh, well, that just happens. [Thieves] are obviously choosing locales based on what the consequences are. there are no consequences for their actions, then you invite the behavior. Over and over.”

It’s not just based on anecdotes and it’s not just happening in San Francisco.

One study found that in Santa Monica, California, crimes unaffected by the ballot referendum fell by 9 percent but those that were downgraded increased 15 percent. Another analysis found that statewide, larceny thefts increased 9 percent after the 2014 change.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out what’s going on here. Many different factors impact crime rates, but when the government fails to protect property rights and enforce the law, theft becomes more common and innocent business owners are victimized. The resulting economic uncertainty discourages growth and, in extreme cases like San Francisco, literally leads stores to close.

Protecting property and enforcing the rule of law is one of the core, legitimate functions of government. That the Golden State has chosen to focus its government’s robust spending and involvement in social life elsewhere speaks to a grave misalignment in priorities.

Virginia Leads the Way Up from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative

By Committee For A Constructive Tomorrow

Energy ideology is one thing.  Energy reality, another.

Just ask the motorists who spent a night stranded on I-95 in Virginia this week when winter dropped some epic snow if they’d rather have spent the night in an electric car.

Virginia foolishly joined eleven other states in a “Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative” which dramatically raised energy prices and covered pristine natural landscapes with inefficient wind turbines and solar panels.  All without making any meaningful impact on the temperature of the Earth.  The RGGI is a perfect poster child for “all pain no gain” policy making.

Gabriella Hoffman reports at CFACT.org in a piece that originally appeared in The Virginia Pilot:

“‘RGGI describes itself as a regional market for carbon, but it is really a carbon tax that is fully passed on to ratepayers. It’s a bad deal for Virginians. It’s a bad deal for Virginia businesses,’ Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin said. ‘I promised to lower the cost of living in Virginia, and this is just the beginning.’”

Gabriella further reports that:

“Virginia’s continued participation in RGGI will result in residents paying more for their electricity bills. According to recent State Corporation Commission filings, participation in the RGGI program will raise energy costs to $4.37 a month, or $52.44 per year, if enacted on Sept. 1. When paired with the new — and costly — Virginia Clean Economy Act, the net-zero law slated to raise energy bills $800 a year by 2030, this spells disaster for Virginians currently paying more to heat and power their homes.”

CFACT’s close friend Collister (Terry) Johnson is a tireless Virginia energy advocate.  Terry and his friends and allies did a brilliant job beating back plans to wreck Virginia’s energy infrastructure with the facts.  Well done!

Virginia under Governor-elect Youngkin is waking up to energy reality… fast.  Other states are heading for the RGGI exit as well.

Energy reality beats energy ideology every time.

STEEP LOSSES: Democrat-run states of NJ, NY & CT saw more wealthy residents flee in 2021, annual moving survey shows

By The Geller Report

Droves of residents fled Democrat-run states with surging crime and COVID-19 restrictions last year — with New York, New Jersey and Connecticut among the five that suffered the steepest losses, a sobering new survey shows. Let’s hope these escapees don’t destroy the states they move to by importing their poisonous Democrat policies.

Democrat-run states of NJ, NY & CT saw more wealthy residents flee in 2021, annual moving survey shows

Droves of residents fled Democrat-run states with surging crime and COVID-19 restrictions last year — with New York, New Jersey and Connecticut among the five that suffered the steepest losses, a sobering new survey shows.

By Carl Campanile, New York Post, January 3, 2022:

New Jersey led the nation with 70 percent of the people involved in moves fleeing the Garden State, compared to just 30 percent who migrated in, according to United Van Lines’ 45th Annual National Movers Study.

Illinois — home to crime- and shooting-ridden Chicago — came in second with 67 percent of the moves recorded were of residents leaving the state, while just 27 percent were in-bound.

New York ranked third, with 63 percent of movers headed for the exits and 37 percent settling in.

Nearly 30 percent those who fled the Empire State said “family” was a primary factor in their decisions, with about 12 percent citing “cost.”

The survey also showed that the exodus largely involved the wealthy, with those making $150,000 or more comprising 45.3 percent of the total.

It’s unclear when those moves took place, but in April the state adopted a record $212 billion budget that targeted big earners with new taxes that rise as high as 10.9 percent.

Meanwhile, six of the top 10 metro areas suffering from the worst exodus were in the New York-New Jersey region.

Nearly 80 percent of the moves in Long Island’s Nassau-Suffolk counties were exiters — the highest outbound rate of any region in the country.

About 75 percent fled Binghamton and 73 percent exited Poughkeepsie/Dutchess County. Three New Jersey areas — Bergen-Passaic, Newark and Middllesex-Somerset-Hunterdon also had among the worst outbound rates.

Neighboring Connecticut didn’t fare much better — 60 percent of the moves recorded were outbound and 40 percent inbound.

“The study also revealed that the COVID-19 pandemic continued to accelerate many decisions to move, indicating that Americans were on the move to lower-density areas ” United Van Lines said in a release.

For the entire Northeast, 60 percent of the moves were outbound.

The results from 2021 mirrored United Van Lines’ 2020 findings, when the COVID-19 pandemic first ravaged the NY-NJ metro region and later the entire country.

“The study also revealed that the COVID-19 pandemic continued to accelerate many decisions to move, indicating that Americans were on the move to lower-density areas and to be closer to their families throughout last year,” United Van Lines said in a release.

And sunny California is no longer the Golden State — with more people leaving than “California Dreamin’.”

California — long a driver of population growth — was fifth-worst for movers heading for the exits, with 59 percent fleeing the state while only 41 percent of newcomers moved in.

All five states with the highest outbound rates have a few things in common: they are run by Democrats, are high-taxed and suffer from spikes in crime.

Less populous Vermont, represented by democratic socialist Senator and former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, broke the mold. It had the highest in-bound migration in the U.S., with 74 percent of the moves reported were of those coming into the state.

The other top in-bound states were South Dakota (69 percent), South Carolina (63 percent), West Virginia (63 percent) and Florida (62 percent).

In addition to the state-by-state data, United Van Lines also conducts an accompanying survey to examine the motivations and influences for Americans’ interstate moves.

This analysis found that about one-third of Americans who moved did so in order to be closer to family – a new trend coming out of the pandemic as priorities and lifestyle choices shifted.

This is great news. However, President Trump must also support the alternative social media sites, and not just his own after it is finally launched. For alternative social media to succeed, President Trump needs to bring his 100 million plus social media followers to these sites. That way they will be robust, engaging, interesting, and sustainable. This will happen. The tide will turn.

By RSBN, January 4, 2022

Free speech social media platform GETTR reached over half a million signups in the two days after podcast legend Joe Rogan announced he opened an account. Rogan joined the platform, billed as a Twitter alternative, in response to Twitter’s ban on Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Rogan’s recent guest, Dr. Robert Malone.

Over 545,000 new signups for GETTR since @joerogan announced he had joined on Sunday.

Following Rogan’s announcement to his 7.8 million Twitter followers, more than 171,000 GETTR accounts were opened on Sunday. The number doubled the following day, with more than 341,000 individuals joining the platform. GETTR reached the highest amount of new accounts Tuesday morning as over 545,000 people rushed to join the free speech platform, according to a press release.

“This is the great disruption in the social media landscape,” GETTR Chief Executive Officer Jason Miller said in a press release. “People have been looking for a new outlet for free expression, and GETTR is the destination. When Joe Rogan says that the establishment social media giants might get ‘even dumber,’ people listen and join the migration.”

Simultaneously, Twitter permanently banned Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Sunday for Covid-19 “misinformation.”

“When Maxine Waters can go to the streets and threaten violence on Twitter, Kamala and Ilhan can bail out rioters on Twitter, and Chief spokesman for terrorist IRGC can tweet mourning Soleimani but I get suspended for tweeting VAERS statistics, Twitter is an enemy to America and can’t handle the truth,” the congresswoman wrote on GETTR following the ban.

“That’s fine,” she continued, “I’ll show America we don’t need them and it’s time to defeat our enemies.”

DESANTIS CALLS OUT BIDEN: For failing to ‘shut down the virus’, importing it from across the border & trying to mask young kids.

By The Geller Report

If our election laws are not overhauled, Governor DeSantis will route President Biden in 2024. And DeSantis would wreck Biden in the debates. It would not be pretty. It would be the political version of Tyson vs Spinks.

DESANTIS DESTROYS BIDEN: ‘His Solution is to Force Kindergarteners to Wear Masks’

By the First, January 4, 2022

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has had enough of the Biden Administration singling out Floridians over their handling of the coronavirus pandemic. DeSantis unloaded on the President and his administration during a press conference today —excerpts below.

“Joe Biden has taken to himself to single out Florida over COVID. This is a guy who ran for President saying he was going to “shut down the virus.” And what has he done? He’s imported more virus from around the world by having a wide-open southern border. You have hundreds of thousands of people pouring across every month.”

“And it’s not just from Mexico – in fact it’s rarely from Mexico. You have over one hundred different countries where people are pouring through – not only are they letting them through, they’re then farming them out all across our communities across this country…putting them on planes…putting them on buses. You think they are worried about COVID for that? Of course not. So he’s facilitating. Who knows what new variants are out there but I can tell you whatever variants are around the world, they’re coming across that southern border.”

“And what is his big solution? His solution…he wants to have the government force kindergarteners to wear masks in school. He doesn’t believe the parents should have a say in that. He thinks that should be a decision for the government. Well I can tell ya in Florida, parents are going to be the ones in charge of that decision.”

Are Citizens Arming themselves for an ‘American Revolution 2.0’? 18.5 Million Guns Sold in 2021

By Dr. Rich Swier

On November 20th, 2021 we wrote a column titled “An American Revolution Version 2.0?” We wrote:

We are now in the 256th year since the beginning of the American Revolution on March 22nd, 1765. “The shot heard round the world” occurred when British soldiers and minutemen—the colonists’ militia—exchanged gunfire at Lexington and Concord in Massachusetts.

Questions: Is it time for a Second American Revolution? Will there be a second shot heard round the world?

To have a Second American Revolution one must arm themselves to defend one’s family, property and community. Since writing this column we have seen a rise in violence in certain communities and the murder rates in certain cities reach historic numbers.

It now appears that the citizens of America are exercising their 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms.

On January 4, 2022 The Reload’s Stephen Gutowski in an article titled “18.5 Million Guns Sold in 2021” wrote:

2021 was the second-best year on record for gun sales.

Americans bought more than 18.5 million guns, according to an industry analysis of FBI background check data. That puts the 2021 numbers about 12 percent off the all-time record set in 2020. But it also puts 2021 40 percent ahead of 2019’s total.

“The fact that over 18.5 million Americans chose lawfully purchase a firearm in 2021 is indicative the value Americans hold of the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms,” Mark Oliva, a spokesman for the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), which did the analysis, said in a statement.

[ … ]

Oliva pointed specifically to the nomination of former-ATF agent and current gun-control activist David Chipman as an example of the Biden Administration’s animus towards the gun industry. He said Chipman’s failure to get confirmed coupled with the big sales numbers was further evidence the president’s gun agenda, which polled poorly throughout 2021, is faltering.

“Americans have taken stock of their personal safety concerns and their fundamental, God-given rights,” he said. [Emphasis added]

The Bottom Line

Tom Paine wrote,

“Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it.”

Today in America we are clearly seeing abuses and usurpations. The goal is absolute despotism.

When we the people see these truths to be self-evident, that our despotic government does not hold that all men as created equal. When our government takes away our inalienable rights, to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness it is time to take action.

We the people must either alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government.

George Washington  wrote:

“Our cruel and unrelenting Enemy leaves us no choice but a brave resistance, or the most abject submission; this is all we can expect – We have therefore to resolve to conquer or die…”

We are now all called to become Minutemen and women preparing to defend our Constitutional Republic.

Give me liberty or give me death.

2024 WATCH: Trump enters 2022 as clear frontrunner for next GOP presidential nomination

By The Geller Report

President Trump is unquestionably the clear frontrunner for the Republican Party nominee in 2024. Governor DeSantis is the second most popular figure in the Republican Party. The two should just run together in 2024 to take down the Left. If President Trump runs for POTUS with Governor DeSantis as his running mate, he would need to change his residency to another state because of the 12th Amendment. Not a big deal though.

2024 Watch: Trump enters 2022 as clear frontrunner for next GOP presidential nomination

Your weekly look at the latest developments, buzz and speculation in the next race for the White House

By Fox News, January 1, 2022

Former President Donald Trump begins the new year in the same political position he ended the old year – as hands down the most popular and influential politician in the GOP.

With just over 10 months to go until the starting gun in the next race for the White House, Trump remains the overwhelming front-runner in the hunt for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

The most recent public opinion numbers come from a Reuters/Ipsos national poll conducted in mid-December and released a couple of days ago. Fifty-four percent of Republicans questioned in the survey said they’d back the former president as their party’s standard-bearer in 2024.

Trump spent 2021 repeatedly flirting with another White House run.

“I am certainly thinking about it,” he told Fox News in a November interview.

“I think a lot of people will be very happy, frankly, with the decision,” the former president added, suggesting that such a decision would be announced after the 2022 midterm elections.

The Reuters/Ipsos survey is in line with other public opinion surveys of the 2024 GOP nomination race. An average of all the most recent national polls puts Trump at 52% support, light years ahead of the rest of the other possible Republican White House hopefuls.

But of note: The support for the nomination Trump grabs in these public opinion surveys is a good 20-30 points lower than his overall standing among GOP voters. Trump’s favorable rating among Republicans in the Reuters/Ipsos poll stood at 82%.

Another early 2024 barometer is fundraising – where Trump was a juggernaut in 2021.

The former president’s three main political fundraising committees reported hauling in a combined $82 million during the first six months of the 2021, with over $100 million cash on hand as of the end of July, which was the most recent filing period for the groups. Fueling much of the fundraising are Trump’s baseless claims that the 2020 presidential election was “rigged” and “stolen.”

One thing Trump’s fundraising, impressive poll position, immense clout over his party, and repeated flirtations has not done is discourage other potential GOP White House hopefuls from visiting the states that kick off the presidential primary and caucus calendar.

As Fox News recently reported, there were 15 trips last year to Iowa – the state that for half a century’s kicked off the nominating calendar – by nine potential Republican presidential contenders. That’s not far off from the 17 visits by 11 possible candidates in 2013 at the same early point in the wide-open GOP nomination race in the 2016 cycle.

And according to a Fox News count, there were also eight visits to New Hampshire in 2021 by six potential contenders, close to the 11 visits by seven possible candidates in 2013 to the state that for a century has held the first presidential primary in the nominating calendar.

The Bait and Switch Con Game to Destroy our 1787 Constitution

By Kelleigh Nelson

“Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Congress has no power to disarm the militia. Their swords and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American.  The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people.” — The Pennsylvania Gazette, Feb. 20, 1788

“I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations.”  – James Madison

“The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes…. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” –  Thomas Jefferson

“Cities may be rebuilt, and a People reduced to Poverty, may acquire fresh Property: But a Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty once lost is lost forever. When the People once surrender their share in the Legislature, and their Right of defending the Limitations upon the Government, and of resisting every Encroachment upon them, they can never regain it.” – John Adams letter to Abigail Adams, July 7, 1775

The Convention of States (COS) proponents have continuously lied to their constituents, most of whom have never opened the US Constitution and read Article V. The push for an Article V Convention is the most vicious bait and switch con-game of all time.

Amendments to the Constitution

COS adherents tell us we can simply open the US Constitution and add amendments to rein in the powers and jurisdictions of the federal government, but if elected officials won’t obey the constitution now, why would they obey changes to the document unless the changes benefited them?!

Article V unequivocally provides only two procedures for amendments to the Constitution, to wit: Method 1.  Congressional Enactment when “two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary,” OR Method 2.  Congressional Convening of a Convention in response to “the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several states.”  Furthermore, even the choice between the two declared modes of State ratification of any resulting amendments therefrom is specifically left to “be proposed by the Congress.”

How much semantical distortion of the English language; or “bouncing off the wall of legalize” does it take to create a “Convention of States” out of Article V?  Nowhere in Article V does it say that a convention can be called, opened or convened and bypass Congress, which COS promoters claim they can do.  Read it for yourselves:

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress; provided that no amendment which may be made prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article; and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate. (Emphasis mine)

Why can’t we add amendments to the constitution as we have for 235 years rather than risking opening the constitution to violent partisans and nefarious individuals?

1787 Convention Precedent

The COS promoters have also stated that they could “control” the convention, but the precedent for total lack of control was set in 1787 when the Founding Fathers realized the weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation could not be fixed under the current form of government and thus, started anew.  Throwing out our 1787 Constitution, written by true statesmen, and substituting “privileges” rather than individual freedoms is the goal of those behind the Convention of States and their irreputable monetary benefactors.

At the time the Articles of Confederation were written there was a widespread fear of a strong central government among Americans whose loyalties were to their own state rather than any national government.  During the American Revolution, the Articles purposely kept the national government as weak as possible and the states as independent as possible.  But there were serious weaknesses, and these weaknesses were discussed at the 1786 Annapolis Convention.  Thus, a new document was needed, but states rights were strongly included in the ten unalienable Bill of Rights.

Convention Advocates and Financiers

Mark Meckler is the man being funded with millions from Koch Brothers organizations, American Legislative Exchange Council and other odious groups and organizations. Rob Natelson, formerly of the Goldwater Institute and now with the Independence Institute, and Michael Farris of the Home School Legal Defense Association and Patrick Henry College are also defenders of the egregious Convention of States.  Yet, they’re afraid to debate those constitutional scholars who know the truth of their intentions.

Their real purpose in opening another Constitutional Convention is to impose a new constitution of their own making.  One of the early rewritten constitutions was published in Rex Tugwell’s 1974 book, The Emerging Constitution.  It was a project over a period of 10 years and $25 million by Fund for the Republic (the Ford Foundation).  The proposed “New States Constitution” is a frightening combination of government privileges rather than individual freedoms, and a culmination of the final objectives of regional governance conspirators.

In addition to the proposed new Constitutions already out there; the National Constitution Center’s Constitution Drafting Project has released three proposed new constitutions to replace our existing constitution.  You can read the proposed new constitutions here. These proposed constitutions would transfer massive new powers to the federal government; would legalize the unconstitutional acts which have been going on for over 100 years; and bring about a long list of additional horrors.

Robert George and the Conservative Constitution

One look at the “Conservative Constitution” headed up by Robert George should give anyone the willies.  Robert George, globalist Council on Foreign Relations member, who poses as a conservative Christian while serving UNESCO and the CFR’s agenda, has found common ground with the purveyors who wish the destruction our 1787 Constitution.

Quite obviously, COS board member, Robert George, would like to delete the entire second amendment.  Here’s what he has written that negates the original meaning of the founder’s “teeth” of our Bill of Rights.

The modified “Second Amendment” clarifies what we understand to be the best original understanding. It provides, “Neither the states nor the United State shall make or enforce any law infringing the right to keep and bear arms of the sort ordinarily used for self-defense or recreational purposes, provided that states, and the United States in places subject to its general regulatory authority, may enact and enforce reasonable regulations on the bearing of arms, and the keeping of arms by persons determined, with due process, to be dangerous to themselves or others.” (Emphasis mine)

So, who will determine those who are dangerous to themselves or others?  Unelected councils as in Soviet Russia?  The same unelected councils as our local county health departments?  Those unelected councils determined healthy people should be locked up, schools should be closed, and everyone should don face diapers, breathing in their own exhaled bacteria, depriving their brains of oxygen, and literally doing damage to themselves. Adopted because other unelected councils told them what to do…NIH, CDC, FDA, AMA, etc… the snakeholders!  Our elected officials willingly complied.

Robert George’s revision of our unalienable second amendment is a prescription for the annihilation of our God given right to defend ourselves, and we know exactly who the targets will be.

America’s Gun Owners

Will Dabbs MD writes for Firearms News and in a recent article he said, “American civilian shooters bought as many firearms in the month of January 2021 as are maintained in the entire US Army inventory.  In a nation of 328 million people, we own more than 400 million guns and forty million of those firearms were sold in 2020.  There’s just no putting that back in the box.  As a people, we are irrevocably armed to the teeth.  No amount of legislated social engineering will ever make a dent.  That means the bad guys in the United States will be well armed until the sun burns out.”

Dr. Dabbs continues, “While the left wishes the United States was actually Sweden or Norway, we pragmatists appreciate that in the face of such a sordid state, we need to assume responsibility for our own security.  In the Information Age, this means we avail ourselves of the proper tools and train to proficiency.”

Remember the summer of 2020, when Antifa thugs pulled Adam Haner out of his pickup truck in Portland during a BLM protest march and beat him unconscious?  His crime was just trying to help another person who had been beaten by the same mob.

As Dr. Dabbs says, “I don’t know about you guys, but that’s just not happening to me.”

“We must avoid this type of chaos at all costs, but should the exigencies of life place you in that sort of place, nothing screams, ‘Don’t screw with me, dude!’ like a handy takedown AR.”

Conclusion

Too many evil entities wish to destroy the finest document of individual God given freedoms ever created by man.  Frederick Douglass said, “Interpreted as it ought to be interpreted, the constitution is a Glorious Liberty Document!”  He was right.

In 1788, James Madison wrote to G.I. Turberville when he was asked how he felt if another General Convention should be called.

He wrote, “You wish to know my sentiments on the project of (an Article V) Convention as suggested by New York. I shall give them to you with great frankness. If a General Convention were to take place for the avowed and sole purpose of revising the Constitution, it would naturally consider itself as having a greater latitude than the Congress appointed to administer and support as well as to amend the system; it would consequently give greater agitation to the public mind; an election into it would be courted by the most violent partizans [sic] on both sides; it would probably consist of the most heterogeneous characters; would be the very focus of that flame which has already too much heated men of all parties; would no doubt contain individuals of insidious views, who under the mask of seeking alterations popular in some parts but inadmissible in other parts of the Union might have a dangerous opportunity of sapping the very foundations of the fabric.”

My friend, Joanna Martin, a true scholar of our 1787 Constitution as well as the Federalist papers, has written a much more in-depth article exposing the deleterious effects of allowing another constitutional convention.  Please take the time to study her work.

The war to save our 1787 Constitution continues.  Please join the battle to restore our God given liberties and freedoms.

100 Reasons to Homeschool Your Kids

By Foundation for Economic Education (FEE)

From fostering creativity and freedom to providing impressive educational outcomes, homeschooling is an increasingly appealing option.

This is my 100th article at FEE.org, so here are 100 reasons to homeschool your kids!

  1. Homeschoolers perform well academically.
  2. Your kids may be happier.
  3. Issues like ADHD might disappear or become less problematic.
  4. It doesn’t matter if they fidget.
  5. YOU may be happier! All that time spent on your kids’ homework can now be used more productively for family learning and living.
  6. You can still work and homeschool.
  7. And even grow a successful business while homeschooling your kids.
  8. Your kids can also build successful businesses, as many grown unschoolers become entrepreneurs.
  9. You can be a single parent and homeschool your kids.
  10. Your kids can be little for longer. Early school enrollment has been linked by Harvard researchers with troubling rates of ADHD diagnosis. A year can make a big difference in early childhood development.
  11. Some of us are just late bloomers. We don’t all need to be on “America’s early-blooming conveyor belt.”
  12. Then again, homeschooling can help those kids who might be early bloomers and graduate from college at 16.
  13. Whether early, late, or somewhere in the middle, homeschooling allows all children to move at their own pace.
  14. You can choose from a panoply of curriculum options based on your children’s needs and your family’s educational philosophy.
  15. Or you can focus on unschooling, a self-directed education approach tied to a child’s interests.
  16. Homeschooling gives your kids plenty of time to play! In a culture where childhood free play is disappearing, preserving play is crucial to a child’s health and well-being.
  17. They can have more recess and less homework.
  18. You can take advantage of weekly homeschool park days, field trips, classes, and other gatherings offered through a homeschooling group near you.
  19. Homeschooling co-ops are growing, so you can find support and resources.
  20. Homeschooling learning centers are sprouting worldwide, prioritizing self-directed education and allowing more flexibility to more families who want to homeschool.
  21. Parks, beaches, libraries, and museums are often less crowded during school hours, and many offer programming specifically for homeschoolers.
  22. You’re not alone. Nearly two million US children are homeschooled, and the homeschooling population is increasingly reflective of America’s diversity. In fact, the number of black homeschoolers doubled between 2007 and 2011.
  23. One-quarter of today’s homeschoolers are Hispanic-Americans who want to preserve bilingualism and family culture.
  24. Some families of color are choosing homeschooling to escape what they see as poor academic outcomes in schools, a curriculum that ignores their cultural heritage, institutional racism, and disciplinary approaches that disproportionately target children of color.
  25. More military families are choosing homeschooling to provide stability and consistency through frequent relocations and deployments.
  26. While the majority of homeschoolers are Christians, many Muslim families are choosing to homeschool, as are atheists.
  27. Homeschooling has wide bipartisan appeal.
  28. More urban parents are choosing to homeschool, prioritizing family and individualized learning.
  29. Religious freedom may be important to many homeschooling families, but it is not the primary reason they choose to homeschool. “Concern about the school environment, such as safety, drugs, or negative peer pressure” is the top motivator according to federal data.
  30. Fear of school shootings and widespread bullying are other concerns that are prompting more families to consider the homeschooling option.
  31. Some parents choose homeschooling because they are frustrated by Common Core curriculum frameworks and frequent testing in public schools.
  32. Adolescent anxiety, depression, and suicide decline during the summer, but Vanderbilt University researchers found that suicidal tendencies spike at back-to-school time. (This is a pattern opposite to that of adults, who experience more suicidal thoughts and acts in the summertime.) Homeschooling your kids may reduce these school-induced mental health issues.
  33. It will also prevent schools from surreptitiously collecting and tracking data on your child’s mental health.
  34. Your kids’ summertime can be fully self-directed, as can the rest of their year.
  35. That’s because kids thrive under self-directed education.
  36. Some kids are asking to be homeschooled.
  37. And they may even thank you for it.
  38. Today’s teens aren’t working in part-time or summer jobs like they used to. Homeschooling can offer time for valuable teen work experience.
  39. It can also provide the opportunity to cultivate teen entrepreneurial skills.
  40. Your kids don’t have to wait for adulthood to pursue their passions.
  41. By forming authentic connections with community members, homeschoolers can take advantage of teen apprenticeship programs.
  42. Some apprenticeship programs have a great track record on helping homeschoolers build important career skills and get great jobs.
  43. Self-directed learning centers for teen homeschoolers can provide a launchpad for community college classes and jobs while offering peer connection and adult mentoring.
  44. With homeschooling, you can inspire your kids to love reading.
  45. Maybe that’s because they will actually read books, something one-quarter of Americans reported not doing in 2014.
  46. Your kids might even choose to voluntarily read financial statements or do worksheets.
  47. You can preserve their natural childhood creativity.
  48. Schools kill creativity, as Sir Ken Robinson proclaims in his TED Talk, the most-watched one ever.
  49. Homeschooling might even help your kids use their creativity in remarkable ways, as other well-known homeschoolers have done.
  50. With homeschooling, learning happens all the time, all year round. There are no arbitrary starts and stops.
  51. You can take vacations at any time of the year without needing permission from the principal.
  52. Or you can go world-schooling, spending extended periods of time traveling the world together as a family or letting your teens travel the world without you.
  53. Your kids can have healthier lunches than they would at school.
  54. And you can actually enjoy lunch with them rather than being banned from the school cafeteria.
  55. Your kids don’t have to walk through metal detectors, past armed police officers, and into locked classrooms in order to learn.
  56. You can avoid bathroom wars and let your kids go to the bathroom wherever and whenever they want—without raising their hand to ask for permission.
  57. Research shows that teen homeschoolers get more sleep than their schooled peers.
  58. Technological innovations make self-education through homeschooling not only possible but also preferable.
  59. Free, online learning programs like Khan AcademyDuolingoScratchProdigy Math, and MIT OpenCourseWare complement learning in an array of topics, while others, like Lynda.com and Mango, may be available for free through your local public library.
  60. Schooling was for the Industrial Age, but unschooling is for the future.
  61. With robots doing more of our work, we need to rely more on our distinctly human qualities, like curiosity and ingenuity, to thrive in the Innovation Era.
  62. Homeschooling could be the “smartest way to teach kids in the 21st century,” according to Business Insider.
  63. Teen homeschoolers can enroll in an online high school program to earn a high school diploma if they choose.
  64. But young people don’t need a high school diploma in order to go to college.
  65. Many teen homeschoolers take community college classes and transfer into four-year universities with significant credits and cost-savings. Research suggests that community college transfers also do better than their non-transfer peers.
  66. Homeschooling may be the new path to Harvard.
  67. Many colleges openly recruit and welcome homeschoolers because they tend to be “innovative thinkers.”
  68. But college doesn’t need to be the only pathway to a meaningful adult life and livelihood. Many lucrative jobs don’t require a college degree, and companies like Google and Apple have dropped their degree requirements.
  69. In fact, more homeschooling families from the tech community in Silicon Valley and elsewhere are choosing to homeschool their kids.
  70. Hybrid homeschooling models are popping up everywhere, allowing more families access to this educational option.
  71. Some of these hybrid homeschool programs are public charter schools that are free to attend and actually give families access to funds for homeschooling.
  72. Other education choice mechanisms, like Education Savings Accounts (ESAs) and tax-credit scholarship programs, are expanding to include homeschoolers, offering financial assistance to those families who need and want it.
  73. Some states allow homeschoolers to fully participate in their local school sports teams and extracurricular activities.
  74. Homeschooling may be particularly helpful for children with disabilities, like dyslexia, as the personalized learning model allows for more flexibility and customization.
  75. Homeschooling is growing in popularity worldwide, especially in IndiaAustralia, the United KingdomIsrael, and even in China, where it’s illegal.
  76. Homeschooling grants children remarkable freedom and autonomy, particularly self-directed approaches like unschooling, but it’s definitely not the Lord of the Flies.
  77. Homeschooling allows for much more authentic, purposeful learning tied to interests and everyday interactions in the community rather than contrived assignments at school.
  78. Throughout the American colonial and revolutionary eras, homeschooling was the norm, educating leaders like George Washington and Abigail Adams.
  79. In fact, many famous people were homeschooled.
  80. And many famous people homeschool their own kids.
  81. Your homeschooled kids will probably be able to name at least one right protected by the First Amendment of the US Constitution, something 37 percent of adults who participated in a recent University of Pennsylvania survey couldn’t do.
  82. Homeschooling can be preferable to school because it’s a totally different learning environment. As homeschooling pioneer John Holt wrote in Teach Your Own: “What is most important and valuable about the home as a base for children’s growth in the world is not that it is a better school than the schools but that it isn’t a school at all.”
  83. Immersed in their larger community and engaged in genuine, multi-generational activities, homeschoolers tend to be better socialized than their schooled peers. Newer studies suggest the same.
  84. Homeschoolers interact daily with an assortment of people in their community in pursuit of common interests, not in an age-segregated classroom with a handful of teachers.
  85. Research suggests that homeschoolers are more politically tolerant than others.
  86. They can dig deeper into emerging passions, becoming highly proficient.
  87. They also have the freedom to quit.
  88. They can spend abundant time outside and in nature.
  89. Homeschooling can create strong sibling relationships and tight family bonds.
  90. Homeschooling is legal in all 50 US states and has been since 1993, but regulations vary widely by state.
  91. In spite of ongoing efforts to regulate homeschoolers, US homeschooling is becoming less regulated.
  92. That’s because homeschooling parents are powerful defenders of education freedom.
  93. Parents can focus family learning around their own values, not someone else’s.
  94. Homeschooling is one way to get around regressive compulsory schooling laws and put parents back in charge of their child’s education.
  95. It can free children from coercive, test-driven schooling.
  96. It is one education option among many to consider as more parents opt-out of mass schooling.
  97. Homeschooling is the ultimate school choice.
  98. It is inspiring education entrepreneurship to disrupt the schooling status quo.
  99. And it’s encouraging frustrated educators to leave the classroom and launch their own alternatives to school.
  100. Homeschooling is all about having the liberty to learn.

COVID Nazis Goose-Stepping Their Way to Thousand-Year Reich

By The Daily Skirmish – Liberato.US

The COVID Nazis were out in full force over the holidays.

A video shows a woman on a domestic flight yelling at a man to put his mask on.  After the man refuses because he is eating, the woman hits him and spits on him.  New York police are enforcing the city’s vaccine mandate by surrounding diners at their tables, demanding to see their vaccination cards, and threatening to arrest them if they don’t leave.   New York Democrats have proposed legislation to silence critics of COVID policies under the guise of prohibiting what they call ‘medical disinformation’ on social media.  Catholic Charities in Spokane refused to feed the homeless on Christmas if they weren’t vaccinated, so some people got together and did it themselves.  A commentator on MSNBC said the unvaccinated should be refused hospital care.    How about we just take them away in ambulances with the windows blacked out and incinerate them, instead?

In recent weeks, A Portland school forced children to eat outside in 40-degree weather in order to enforce the state’s indoor mask mandate.  Oregon Democrats are itching to make the mandate permanent.  Santa Cruz County in California imposed an indoor mask mandate that applies to private homes.  New York City required all private sector employees to be vaccinated.  Doctors and nurses are being warned not to speak out against COVID vaccines on pain of losing their license.   I have a friend whose doctor just received such a letter.

Things could be worse.  In the Netherlands, police sicced dogs on anti-lockdown protesters and beat the protesters with batons.  The Australian Army is forcibly removing people who test positive and their close contacts to quarantine camps.  Austria has announced mandatory universal vaccination over age 14 and will soon send out swarms of inspectors to collect fines from people who refuse to pay up, or drag them to jail.  A Canadian province has decreed no vaccine, no access to grocery stores.

It’s getting crazier, and for no good reason.  I’ve commented before that COVID rules are becoming more authoritarian precisely at the same time the phony narratives supporting them are getting weaker and weaker.  Tomorrow, I’ll delve more deeply into the phony narratives which, collectively I call COVID Derangement Syndrome.  But for today, I leave you with hope.  Resistance is not futile.  Resistance works.  Los Angeles public schools canceled their COVID vaccine mandate because 30,000 students were not in compliance.  Some big hospitals have dropped their vaccine mandates because so many hospital workers refuse to get the shot.  A Virginia hospital was held in contempt of court for withholding ivermectin from a patient.  If you are refused treatments like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin which have been proven safe and effective against COVID, you should sue, too.  Sue every single medical professional who refuses to provide a reasonable standard of care for political reasons.  They want to play politics, make them pay, that’s what I say.
