State Government Should Take Steps to Protect Citizens from Terror

By Center For Security Policy

Louisiana, our life-long home, reels from a terrorist attack that murdered at least 15 innocent people, injured several dozen others, and postponed the College Football Playoff Quarterfinal at the Sugar Bowl.

Acts of terror have once again left carnage within the borders of America. Shamsud Din Jabbar ramming a truck through a crowd of New Orleans revelers follows multiple acts of terror committed in our homeland: a bombing at the Boston Marathon in April 2013; an axe-wielding terrorist in Queens, New York in October 2014; a shootout in Garland, Texas over cartoon images of Muhammad in May 2015; an attack on two military installations in Chattanooga, Tennessee in July 2015; a slaughter at a Christmas party in San Bernardino, California in December 2015; and an attack on a Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida in December 2019.

When, like yesterday, a mass terrorism attack devastates a community like New Orleans, all eyes turn to the federal government to provide protection and relief. Although the U.S. government does have primary responsibility for America’s national security, state and local governments can – and should – take specific steps to protect their citizens and the nation from terror attacks. All the above attacks were ended by state or local law enforcement, including the New Orleans Police Department dispatching Shamsud Din Jabbar before he killed dozens more.

Louisiana has taken many of these steps. State and local law enforcement in Louisiana have received training to identify potential terrorist threats. The Louisiana Legislature has passed various forms of legislation to deter and prevent terrorism as well as provide justice to victims of terror.

Like almost every state, Louisiana created the crime of terrorism in the wake of 9/11. The acts of Shamsud Din Jabbar appear to meet the statutory definition of terrorism in Louisiana. Din Jabbar appears to have committed the “intentional killing of a human being” and the “intentional infliction of serious bodily injury upon a human being” while having “the intent to intimidate or coerce the civilian population.” He intentionally drove a truck into a crowd of revelers while displaying an ISIS flag. He, or his accomplices, might also have committed “aggravated arson upon … a structure” with the same intent.

Although applicable to the despicable acts of Shamsud Din Jabbar, Louisiana’s statute should be improved, including adding additional predicate crimes to protect against attacks on critical infrastructure. Other states have done so.

Terrorists often receive support from others, including from organizations or foreign governments. Comments by officials knowledgeable about the initial investigation of the New Orleans New Year’s Day attack suggest that Din Jabbar did not act alone. Although terrorists, like Din Jabbar, usually die while committing their crimes, those who provide terrorists with material support can be pursued civilly as well as criminally. Louisiana has passed statutes granting terrorism victims special causes of action, including enhanced civil damages, costs, attorneys’ fees, and asset forfeiture, against terrorists and their supporters.

Article 2315.9 of Louisiana Civil Code provides for a special civil cause of action for terrorism that includes “court costs and reasonable attorney fees.” This cause of action would be available to the victims of Din Jabbar and his accomplices.

Article 2315.9 can be strengthened by providing for exemplary damages (as apply to domestic abuse) or by providing for treble damages (as apply to racketeering and unfair trade practices). The prescriptive period could also be extended considering the recent extension of the general tort prescriptive period in Louisiana.

Louisiana also added terrorism and material support of terrorism as predicate crimes for Louisiana’s racketeering statute. That statute, which requires multiple acts, provides for treble damages and asset forfeiture.

Such causes of action facilitate civil suits against terror supporting organizations and state sponsors of terrorism. Civil discovery in those lawsuits can expose terror networks.

States can also create legal protections for citizens who report suspicions of terrorist activity. Louisiana has not yet done so, although such legislation has been attempted in the past. Both Mississippi and Tennessee have passed such “See Something, Say Something” laws.

State legislation can further empower state attorneys general to shut down non-profits that support, do business with, or associate with terrorists, foreign terrorist organizations, or state sponsors of terror. The Louisiana Legislature could entertain such legislation. Such legislation is currently being drafted for a sister state.

Recidivism rates for terrorists are high. Most do not rehabilitate. Terrorist offender registries, like sex offender registries, can be mandated by legislation to offer law enforcement more tools to prevent convicted terrorists from repeating their crimes. Louisiana passed a terrorism registry in 2019, but under the last administration the State Police failed to implement it. Texas has recently passed and implemented a terrorist offender registry.

In the wake of this latest terrorist attack on Louisiana soil, Louisiana’s state government should take action to protect its citizens, including considering the adoption of multiple policies to prevent another tragedy like the deadly Islamic terrorism attack that just befell our City of New Orleans.

Will President Trump and Vice President Vance use powers signed into law by John Adams, Thomas Jefferson to confront the ‘enemy from within?’

By Dr. Richard M. Swier, LTC U.S. Army (Ret.)

It appears that President Trump and Vice President JD Vance are looking at laws passed during the 17th century by Presidents John Adams, Thomas Jefferson and others to fulfill their promises to the American people.

The first of these is the The Alien and Sedition Acts signed into law by President John Adams in 1798.

The first is The Alien and Sedition Act

The Alien and Sedition Act reads:

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That it shall be lawful for the President of the United States at any time during the continuance of this act, to order all such aliens as he shall judge dangerous to the peace and safety of the United States, or shall have reasonable grounds to suspect are concerned in any treasonable or secret machinations against the government thereof, to depart out of the territory of the United States, within such time as shall be expres

ssed in such order, which order shall be served on such alien by delivering him a copy thereof, or leaving the same at his usual abode, and returned to the office of the Secretary of State, by the marshal or other person to whom the same shall be directed. And in case any alien, so ordered to depart, shall be found at large within the United States after the time limited in such order for his departure, and not having obtained a license from the President to reside therein, or having obtained such license shall not have conformed thereto, every such alien shall, on conviction thereof, be imprisoned for a term not exceeding three years, and shall never after be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. Provided always, and be it further enacted, that if any alien so ordered to depart shall prove to the satisfaction of the President, by evidence to be taken before such person or persons as the President shall direct, who are for that purpose hereby authorized to administer oaths, that no injury or danger to the United States will arise from suffering such alien to reside therein, the President may grant a license to such alien to remain within the United States for such time as he shall judge proper, and at such place as he may designate. And the President may also require of such alien to enter into a bond to the United States, in such penal sum as he may direct, with one or more sufficient sureties to the satisfaction of the per- son authorized by the President to take the same, conditioned for the good behavior of such alien during his residence in the United States, and not violating his license, which license the President may revoke, whenever he shall think proper.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That it shall be lawful for the President of the United States, whenever he may deem it necessary (for the public safety, to order to be removed out of the territory thereof, any alien who mayor shall be in prison in pursuance of this act; and to cause to be arrested and sent out of the United States such of those aliens as shall have been ordered to depart therefrom and shall not have obtained a license as aforesaid, in all cases where, in the opinion of the President, the public safety requires a speedy removal. And if any alien so removed or sent out of the United States by the President shall voluntarily return thereto, unless by permission of the President of the United States, such alien on conviction thereof, shall be imprisoned so long as, in the opinion of the President, the public safety may require.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That every master or commander of any ship or vessel which shall come into any port of the United States after the first day of July next, shall immediately on his arrival make report in writing to the collector or other chief officer of the customs of such port, of all aliens, if any, on board his vessel, specifying their names, age, the place of nativity, the country from which they shall have come, the nation to which they belong and owe allegiance, their occupation and a description of their persons, as far as he shall be informed thereof, and on failure, every such master and commander shall forfeit and pay three hundred dollars, for the payment whereof on default of such master or commander, such vessel shall also be holden, and may by such collector or other officer of the customs be detained. And it shall be the duty of such collector or other officer of the customs, forthwith to transmit to the office of the Department of State true copies of all such returns.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That the circuit and district courts of the United States, shall respectively have cognizance of all crimes and offences against this act. And all marshals and other officers of the United States are required to execute all precepts and orders of the President of the United States issued in pursuance or by virtue of this act.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That it shall be lawful for any alien who may be ordered to be removed from the United States, by virtue of this act, to take with him such part of his goods, chattels, or other property, as he may find convenient; and all property left in the United States by any alien, who may be removed, as aforesaid, shall be, and re- main subject to his order and disposal, in the same manner as if this act had not been passed.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this act shall continue and be in force for and during the term of two years from the passing thereof.

Jonathan Dayton, Speaker of the House of Representatives.

TH. Jefferson, Vice President of the United States and President of the Senate.

I Certify that this Act did originate in the Senate.

Attest, Sam. A. Otis, Secretary

APPROVED, June 25, 1798.

John Adams
President of the United States.

The second is An Act Respecting Alien Enemies

An Act Respecting Alien Enemies reads:

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That whenever there shall be a declared war between the United States and any foreign nation or government, or any invasion or predatory incursion shall be perpetrated, attempted, or threatened against the territory of the United States, by any foreign nation or government, and the President of the United States shall make public proclamation of the event, all natives, citizens, denizens, or subjects of the hostile nation or government, being males of the age of fourteen years and upwards, who shall be within the United States, and not actually naturalized, shall be liable to be apprehended, restrained, secured and removed, as alien enemies. And the President of the United States shall be, and he is hereby authorized, in any event, as aforesaid, by his proclamation thereof, or other public act, to direct the conduct to be observed, on the part of the United States, towards the aliens who shall become liable, as aforesaid; the manner and degree of the restraint to which they shall be subject, and in what cases, and upon what security their residence shall be permitted, and to provide for the removal of those, who, not being permitted to reside within the United States, shall refuse or neglect to depart therefrom; and to establish any other regulations which shall be found necessary in the premises and for the public safety: Provided, that aliens resident within the United States, who shall become liable as enemies, in the manner aforesaid, and who shall not be chargeable with actual hostility, or other crime against the public safety, shall be allowed, for the recovery, disposal, and removal of their goods and effects, and for their departure, the full time which is, or shall be stipulated by any treaty, where any shall have been between the United States, and the hostile nation or government, of which they shall be natives, citizens, denizens or subjects: and where no such treaty shall have existed, the President of the United States may ascertain and declare such reasonable time as may be consistent with the public safety, and according to the dictates of humanity and national hospitality.

And be it further enacted, That after any proclamation shall be made as aforesaid, it shall be the duty of the several courts of the United States, and of each state, having criminal jurisdiction, and of the several judges and justices of the courts of the United States, and they shall be, and are hereby respectively, authorized upon complaint, against any alien or alien enemies, as aforesaid, who shall be resident and at large within such jurisdiction or district, to the danger of the public peace or safety, and contrary to the tenor or intent of such proclamation, or other regulations which the President of the United States shall and may establish in the premises, to cause such alien or aliens to be duly apprehended and convened before such court, judge or justice; and after a full examination and hearing on such complaint. and sufficient cause therefor appearing, shall and may order such alien or aliens to be removed out of the territory of the United States, or to give sureties of their good behaviour, or to be otherwise restrained, conformably to the proclamation or regulations which shall and may be established as aforesaid, and may imprison, or otherwise secure such alien or aliens, until the order which shall and may be made, as aforesaid, shall be performed.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That it shall be the duty of the marshal of the district in which any alien enemy shall be apprehended, who by the President of the United States, or by order of any court, judge or justice, as aforesaid, shall be required to depart, and to be removed, as aforesaid, to provide therefor, and to execute such order, by himself or his deputy, or other discreet person or persons to be employed by him, by causing a removal of such alien out of the territory of the United States; and for such removal the marshal shall have the warrant of the President of the United States, or of the court, judge or justice ordering the same, as the case may be.

APPROVED, July 6, 1798.

Vice President JD Vance is looking at restricting sending abortion drugs via the mail using The Comstock Act of 1873.

The Comstock Act of 1873

The Comstock Act of 1873 made it illegal to send “obscene, lewd or lascivious,” “immoral,” or “indecent” publications through the mail. The law also made it a misdemeanor for anyone to sell, give away, or possess an obscene book, pamphlet, picture, drawing, or advertisement.

The breadth of the legislation included writings or instruments pertaining to contraception and abortion, even if written by a physician. Although officially titled An Act for the Suppression of Trade In, and Circulation of, Obscene Literature and Articles of Immoral Use, the statute did not provide a definition of obscenity.

Congress adopted the Comstock Act in response to the proliferation of obscene materials in the 1870s. Anthony Comstock, head of the New York Society for the Suppression of Vice, had shown members of Congress illustrations that he considered obscene and urged legislators to pass the measure to prevent crime and corruption of children.

Anthony Comstock arrests individuals under the new obscenity law

After Congress passed the bill, it designated Comstock as a special agent in the United States Post Office charged with enforcing the law. With the help of his New York Society for the Suppression of Vice, Comstock was able to arrest individuals under the new act.

In the 1870s, Ezra Heywood, a feminist who studied women’s role in society, wrote Cupid’s Yokes, in which he asserted that women should have the right to control their own bodies. Comstock considered this obscene and arrested Heywood.

He also arrested De Robigne Mortimer Bennett, a libertarian, after he received a copy of Cupid’s Yokes from him through the mail. During Bennett’s federal trial, the judge denied the defense’s motion to show the jury the entire work, insisting that only the isolated passages charged as obscene were pertinent.

The judge applied the Hicklin test from the British decision in Regina v. Hicklin (1868): “I think the test is this, whether the tendency of the matter charged as obscenity is to deprave and corrupt those whose minds are open to immoral influences, and into whose hands a publication of this sort may fall.” The federal courts followed this standard until 1933, when Judge John M. Woolsey focused on the literary value of the entire work of James Joyce’s Ulysses, rather than a few passages, in United States v. One Book Entitled Ulysses (S.D.N.Y. 1933).

Petitioners ask Congress to repeal the law but are refused

In 1878, the National Liberal League and the National Defense Association presented Congress with a petition signed by more than 50,000 people requesting repeal of the Comstock Act.

The petitioners argued that its anti-obscenity provisions had been “enforced to destroy the liberty of conscience in matters of religion, against the freedom of the press and to the great hurt of the learned professions.” The House Committee on the Revision of Laws denied the appeal because the post office had not been established
to mail obscene writings, indecent pictures, or lewd books.

Comstock Act ban on birth control information overturned

Comstock vigorously enforced the sections in the act that dealt with birth control. Numerous doctors suffered arrest and conviction for supplying written materials explaining pregnancy and how to prevent it. This concerned social reformers because it prevented women from controlling the size of their families, a particular hardship for those with small incomes.

Activist Margaret Sanger lobbied for overturning the act’s birth control provisions, which the courts did in United States v. One Package (2d Cir. 1936). This decision made it possible for doctors legally to mail birth control devices and information throughout the country.

How Sex Traffickers Prey on the Vulnerabilities of Immigrant Populations

By Dr. Richard M. Swier, LTC U.S. Army (Ret.)

Jewel (pseudonym) faced severe economic insecurity in her home country of Nigeria. When she heard of the opportunity to work in Denmark as a caregiver for senior citizens, she felt incredibly fortunate.

“I was thanking God for the opportunity to be in this country. I was looking forward to starting work,” she recalled.

When she arrived in Denmark, she was met by another Nigerian woman, who brought her to Copenhagen’s red-light district. “This is where you’ll be working,” the woman said.

Initially confused, Jewel looked around for a hospital or something reminiscent of a caregiving facility. She quickly realized that the opportunity she had been promised was a hoax.

In that moment, Jewel’s heart shattered into a million pieces. For several years to follow, Jewel was serially raped by sex buyers and experienced repeated threats to her life from her sex traffickers.

Her sex traffickers also imposed immense fees that she was demanded to pay. It is typical in cases of international sex trafficking for traffickers to demand payment for travel and living expenses. In Jewel’s case her traffickers even went to her house in Nigeria, threatening her family members’ lives if she did not pay them.

Jewel is just one of thousands of immigrant women who have been trafficked into the sex trade. Europe provides a particularly tragic example. According to the International Organization for Migration, it is estimated that 80% of women and girls arriving to Europe from Nigeria are trafficked into the European sex trade.

Ukrainian refugees who have fled the country following Russia’s invasion are also frequently trafficked into the European sex trade.

One Ukrainian refugee who volunteered at the Ukrainian border to help other refugees described her feeling of vulnerability to BBC News. “The women and children come here from a terrible war. They don’t speak Polish or English. They don’t know what’s going on and they believe what anyone tells them.”

“The first day I volunteered, I saw three men from Italy. They were looking for vulnerable women to sell into the sex trade,” she recalled.

Further, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime’s (UNODC) Global Report on Trafficking in Persons 2024, reports that international trafficking inflows are increasingly geographically complex, with victims from 162 different nationalities being trafficked to 128 different countries.

Why Are Immigrants Vulnerable to Sex Trafficking?

Across the globe, sex traffickers prey on the vulnerabilities of immigrants, especially since being able to legally immigrate for lucrative work in a foreign country is often a lengthy and laborious process that many cannot afford to undertake.

In a world plagued by war, political instability, poverty, and an array of other calamities, it is common for those from affected regions to seek refuge in foreign countries. Tragically, unscrupulous individuals often leverage the desperation and vulnerabilities of those seeking to flee such circumstances as a means of trafficking them into prostitution. These vulnerabilities can include limited economic resources, inability to speak the native language, or unfamiliarity with the laws of the country they are residing in.

Evidence of this vulnerability was provided by researchers who studied the demographics of women exploited in 280 illicit massage businesses (IMBs) in the United States. Of the 1,629 women who were identified to have been sex trafficked, only four of them were from the United States, with the vast majority being from Asian countries. Seventy-nine percent of the women were lodged overnight in the facility where their sexual exploitation occurred, revealing an epidemic of homelessness among sex trafficked individuals, especially those from foreign countries.

Further, the U.S. Department of State reported that “unaccompanied foreign national children without lawful immigration status are among one of the most vulnerable groups to sex trafficking.”

Methods of Coercion by Sex Traffickers

The promise of economic opportunity is one of the most common ways that sex traffickers entrap immigrants within the sex trade, according to the 2023 Federal Human Trafficking Report.

Sex traffickers also frequently exploit the difficult nature of regaining lost identification documents in a foreign country as a way to control victims. In a study conducted in the Netherlands about the different methods sex traffickers use to control their victims, 32% had their travel documents confiscated and many of them were financially dependent on their traffickers.

This same study also showed that sex traffickers frequently preyed on individuals who did not know the languages commonly spoken in the Netherlands: 78% of victims did not know Dutch, 45% did not speak German, and 26% did not speak English. Twenty-seven percent listed having little knowledge of their rights as a method by which their trafficker controlled them.

The Undeniable Link Between Prostitution and Sex Trafficking

Many deny the linkage between prostitution and sex trafficking, but the truth is that the two cannot be separated.

Legalizing or fully decriminalizing prostitution is often touted as a remedy for sex trafficking and an inhibitor to violence faced by people in prostitution. In reality, the opposite is true. An analysis of data from 150 countries  found that nations where prostitution is legal reported higher inflows of human trafficking than in countries where it was partially or fully prohibited.

Legalization or full decriminalization increases the demand for prostitution because sex buyers no longer fear criminal penalties. This uptick in demand creates a profitable supply shortage, which sex traffickers are motivated to fill by pushing more vulnerable people into the sex trade.

In order to stop sex trafficking, we must put responsibility on those who keep the prostitution marketplace afloat: sex buyers. Without the dollars of sex buyers to fuel the commercial sex industry, it will have no choice but to collapse. No buyers=No business.

See how law enforcement and communities across the country are working to combat demand and encourage your own community to do the same!

1 of 3 Horrific Islamic Lessons: From The New Orleans Truck Slaughter

By The United West/ Defend The Border

LESSON 1

Shamsud-Din Jabbar was a true follower of Mohammad, not a “radical” Muslim.

Please, stop insulting the religion of Islam by referring to their devout followers of Mohammad as, “radicalized.”

Think about it, a Muslim is going about his life as an average Muslim, doing daily prayers, going to the mosque and even making the pilgrimage to Mecca. But, giving his life to Mohammad, as a Christian gives his life to Jesus, is not a norm in Islam, especially not with Muslims in Western countries.

Then, as that average Muslim begins to read the Quran deeply, learn from Islamic scholars, interact with fully committed Muslims worldwide, his eyes are opened and he begins to see that a true believer in Islamic doctrine, MUST give his life to Mohammad and follow his every word, every thought, every action, every deed and his total war doctrine.

Oops, now Jews and Christians have a problem, when the average Muslim understands that his Quran requires full devotion and dedication to Mohammad, that Muslim potentially becomes a deadly killing machine for all infidels who oppose Islam.

This is the 1400 year-old, belligerent military doctrine that expanded Islam all over the world. The military doctrine that HAMAS, Hezbollah, Iran, Turkey, Yemen and 50 other Muslim nations fully believe will lead Islam to world domination, once again.

(Thank Allah that Israel is fighting and winning the war that the West should be fighting)

THIS IS NOT A RADICAL VIEW OF ISLAM, IT IS DOCTRINAL ISLAMIC ORTHODOXY.

QUESTION: So, what’s going on with every news reporter and every politician and every law enforcement official denigrating Islam by saying a fully committed follower of Mohammad, who follows the path of Jihad to martyrdom is an insane, out-of-their mind, psychopathic spawn of Satan, a RADICAL?

THE ANSWER: We are in a Clash of Civilization, Islam against the West, Islam against the Judeo-Christian worldview.

We in the West cannot comprehend how a sane person can rent an electric pick-up truck and plan on slaughtering unknown men, women and children by smashing into them at high speed, run over them crushing bones, organs, brains, squashing the innocent life out of the “infidel.”

Surely this must be something RADICAL?

Yes, from a Judeo-Christian perspective, this is RADICAL and beyond, but NOT from a Mohammedan perspective, as I’ve said, this is NORMATIVE, Islamic doctrinal behavior during a jihad against the infidel.

So, it is accurate to say Shamsud-Din Jabbar is a “radical” human, violating every norm of human behavior.

But, it is NOT accurate to say that Jabbar is a “radical” Muslim.

Islamic scholars have taught through the centuries, Islam is separate and distinct from other religious systems, and is the completion of Allah’s plan and the solution to the failed religions of Judaism and Christianity.

Therefore, Shamsud-Din Jabbar is now a martyr to be honored in the Islamic world.

But wait, many Muslim Brotherhood groups in America quickly came out with statements “condemning” the truck killing of the people in New Orleans.

So what.

What do you expect them to say, the TRUTH, something like this…

“We praise Allah for Brother Jabbar’s mighty act of martyrdom on this glorious path to Al Aqsa as he struck fear into the hearts of the unbelievers!”

You see, we at The United West follow the beliefs and actions of true Mohammedans in America and other parts of the world and this is exactly what is being said about the truck killer, Shamsud-Din Jabbar.

You will not hear the truth from the many Muslim Brotherhood organizations in America because they are on a stealth mission, as we have been teaching for 17 years, to infiltrate the institutions of America, use our laws against us and bring down this miserable house (America) for the glory of Mohammad.

Here is lies an Islamic conundrum for 2025.

The Muslim Brotherhood organizations have had free reign over the past 20 years, embedding themselves in the Obama and Biden Administrations, implementing their cultural and political jihad perfectly.

Now these anti-American organizations have TWO BIG PROBLEMS

SHAMSUD-DIN JABBAR & PRESIDENT TRUMP

Jabbar’s use of violent Islamic war doctrine though not radical, is certainly not tactical, as the result will be Americans viewing every Muslim as a potential terrorist and these Muslim Brotherhood organizations simply as an extension of HAMAS.

SUMMARY

As Israel destroys the HAMAS and Hezbollah, then Yemen and Iran, with America’s help, frustrated true-believing Muslims will increase jihad activity here in America, targeting the university campuses and Democrat inner cities. Add to this volatile situation, the law enforcement thrust of Tom Homan’s deportation program and the Shamsud-Din Jabbar’s in America are going to be renting electric trucks on a regular basis.

The Muslim Brotherhood organizations, while secretly praising Jabbar’s martyrdom operation, are privately furious with Jabbar because he exposed Mohammad’s war doctrine sooner than the Brotherhood desired!

We actually warned America of these truck attacks over 10 years ago!

Over the months of 2025, The United West will provide leadership as to how patriotic Americans can legally and lawfully fight back to STOP the Shamsud-Din Jabbar’s…and there are many.

STAY TUNED FOR LESSONS 2 & 3, OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS

“How Truck slaughter is taught by Al Qaeda and Islamic State scholars.”

NB: We at The United West thank God daily that only a small percentage of 1.3 billion Muslims worldwide are Muslim true believers like, SHAMSUD-DIN JABBAR, MOHAMMD DEIF, HASSAN NASRALLAH, ISMAIL HANIYEH, GEN. QASSEM SOLEIMANI, KHAHLED MASHAL, YAHYA SINWAR, MOUSA ABU MARZOOK, AYATOLLAH KHAMENEI, PRESIDENT ERDOGAN AND MANY MILLIONS MORE!

Mexico Concerned Trump May Order Military Strikes On Cartels

By NEWSRAEL Telling the Israeli Story

As tensions continue to rise between the United States and Mexico over drug trafficking and cartel violence, Mexican officials have expressed deep concerns regarding the potential of a military strike ordered by former President Donald Trump against drug cartels operating within their borders.

This apprehension reflects both the ongoing security crisis in Mexico and the complex relationship between the two neighboring countries.

BACKGROUND

Mexico has long struggled with the influence and power of drug cartels, which have become deeply entrenched in various aspects of society. These criminal organizations are responsible for significant violence, including turf wars, kidnappings, and the trafficking of illegal drugs into the United States. The situation has deteriorated in recent years, with record levels of homicides attributed to cartel-related activities.

Trump has made combating drug trafficking a cornerstone for his future administration, often using strong rhetoric that included the possibility of using military force against cartels. His approach to border security and drug enforcement was characterized by a willingness to take aggressive measures, which has left Mexican officials wary of the implications such policies could have on their sovereignty and public safety.

RECENT DEVELOPMENTS

Since Trump began to plan his run for the presidency in 2024, his statements regarding drug cartels have reignited fears in Mexico. The prospect of a military strike is particularly alarming for Mexican leaders, who worry that such actions could escalate violence and undermine efforts to stabilize the country. Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has emphasized the need for cooperation and dialogue rather than unilateral military interventions.

DIPLOMATIC CONCERNS

The potential for military action raises significant diplomatic concerns. Mexico has long valued its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and any unilateral action by the U.S. would be viewed as an infringement on these principles. This could strain relations between the two nations, which have historically relied on cooperation to address shared challenges, including drug trafficking and immigration.

Moreover, the Mexican government has been working to strengthen its law enforcement capabilities and address corruption within its own ranks. A military strike from the U.S. could undermine these efforts and damage the trust that is necessary for effective collaboration in tackling organized crime.

PUBLIC SENTIMENT

Public sentiment in Mexico regarding U.S. intervention is mixed. While many citizens are frustrated with the ongoing violence and the perceived inability of the government to control the situation, there is also a strong desire for solutions that respect the country’s sovereignty. The idea of U.S. military action is often met with skepticism and fears of further violence and instability.

EXCLUSIVE: Trump’s Border Czar Has Plan For ‘Super’ Sanctuary County Wanting To Shield Its Criminal Migrants From ICE

By The Daily Caller

Tom Homan, the incoming border czar for the Trump administration, has a plan to deal with a major jurisdiction that recently doubled down on a statewide sanctuary law.

The Democrat-controlled San Diego County Board of Supervisors in December voted to expand a California sanctuary policy that already limited local law enforcement’s ability to cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The county-wide ordinance further restricts law enforcement from notifying ICE agents about a foreign national in their custody, even if they have committed severe crimes such as rape, child abuse, burglary or gang violence.

Homan, who has been tasked with fulfilling President-elect Donald Trump’s promise of mass apprehensions and deportations of illegal migrants across the United States, blasted the lawmakers involved with the vote and said they can simply expect more ICE agents in their neighborhoods as a result.

“Rather than arresting an illegal alien criminal in the safety and security of a county jail where we know he doesn’t have weapons, they’re forcing ICE officers into the streets, into neighborhoods to find these people,” Homan said to the Daily Caller News Foundation. “It’s ridiculous.”

“[Sanctuary laws] make it more difficult, but it doesn’t mean we’re not going to do it,” Homan said. “It just means we’ll have more agents in San Diego because rather than one guy arresting a guy in a jail — we have to send a whole team to safely arrest a guy, so they can expect a lot more agents in that jurisdiction.”

In her proposal for the policy change, Democrat Supervisor Nora Vargas referred to the provision within California law that made exceptions for foreign nationals with serious criminal histories as a “loophole” that “fell short of protecting all residents.” The proposal passed by a vote of 3-1, with GOP Supervisor Jim Desmond being the lone vote against it.

The resolution calls on San Diego County to no longer allow ICE agents use of county facilities for any purposes, no longer respond to ICE inquiries, or otherwise assist in any civil immigration enforcement matter.

In a scathing public statement after its passage, Desmond referred to the policy as a “super” sanctuary law that serves to protect illegal migrant criminals.

“This reckless measure not only goes far beyond California’s already extreme Sanctuary State laws but actively endangers our communities by shielding illegal immigrant criminals from deportation. Consider this: under this policy, law enforcement is prohibited from notifying ICE about individuals, in custody, who have committed violent and heinous crimes, including: Rape and stalking, Assault and battery, Burglary, Child abuse and more,” Desmond said in a statement provided to the DCNF earlier in December.

During an interview in December, former Democrat California Gov. Jerry Brown — who signed SB 54 into law in 2017, which prohibits some cooperation between ICE and local authorities — said he believes some cities across the state have now gone “way, way beyond” what he put on the books, and noted that his statewide policy made exceptions for migrants convicted of violent crimes.

The vote in San Diego County was just one of several moves by Democrat-controlled jurisdictions to tighten sanctuary policy in the wake of Trump’s election victory. Lawmakers in Los Angeles, Boston, Arlington County, Virginia and elsewhere have all voted to either make their sanctuary laws official or reaffirm what laws they already had in the books, and other Democrat mayors have voiced public opposition to Trump’s pledges of a hardline immigration enforcement agenda.

These efforts to refuse cooperation could prove to be problematic for the Trump administration’s plans for mass enforcement actions. The Center for Immigration Studies, a Washington, D.C.-based group that advocates for stricter immigration laws, estimates that are nearly eight million illegal migrants currently live within sanctuary jurisdictions.

Homan expressed confusion at politicians who wouldn’t rather have heinous criminals handed over to ICE, rendering them a threat no longer to their constituents.

“I’ve been clear and President Trump’s been clear, we’re going to concentrate on public safety threats right out of the gate,” Homan said to the DCNF. “What elected official doesn’t want public safety threats removed from their community?”

Germany’s Christmas Market Terror—The Second Terror Attack in Eight Years

By ACT For America!

Our hearts and prayers go out to the families and friends of the nine-year-old and the four adults killed and to the shocking 200 injured, many in critical condition, in the recent terror attack at the Magdeburg Christmas market.

WATCH: Terrorist attack at Christmas market in Magdeburg, Germany! Warning: Graphic images.

This tragic event marks the second time such a cherished German tradition has been targeted, highlighting a stark failure in preventive measures by the authorities. It’s disheartening that simple vehicle barricades were not in place, a basic step that could have potentially deterred this horrifying act due to a lack of intelligence or foresight.

The reality that professionals, including doctors, have been involved in past terror attacks across Europe — from the Glasgow Airport attack in 2007 to the more recent Magdeburg incident — underscores the unpredictable nature of these threats. It’s a grim reminder that the enemy can come from within, educated and seemingly integrated into society.

Europe has witnessed a disturbing trend where a significant number of attacks have been perpetrated by individuals who entered as migrants or asylum seekers. Data from Europol, the Center for Immigration Studies, and START InSight indicate that since 2014, Europe has faced numerous Islamist attacks, with some directly linked to individuals who exploited migration routes. The figures are alarming, with over 1,000 individuals murdered or injured since that time.

In this context, the policies of Hungary and Poland stand out. Both nations have maintained a firm stance against illegal immigration, particularly from Muslim-majority countries, and have not experienced Islamic terror attacks on their soil. This correlation between stringent border policies and national security cannot be ignored. It’s a lesson from history, perhaps echoing the resolve shown during the Second Siege of Vienna in 1683, where the Hungarian and Polish forces stood united against an existential Islamic threat.

However, the experiences of Austria and Germany, who joined forces with Hungary and Poland in 1683, demonstrate the consequences of neglecting historical lessons and the importance of robust border control. Prevention, through strong border policies and rigorous vetting, is not just about deterrence; it’s about protecting our citizens, preserving our cultural heritage, and ensuring that our children can celebrate traditions without fear.

We should learn from those who have successfully kept terror at bay through vigilance and strong policy. It’s not about isolation but about sensible, protective measures that respect the right to national security while addressing the root causes of migration and radicalization. Let us honor the victims by ensuring such tragedies do not repeat, through both remembrance and resolute action.

NEW CALIFORNIA? Rural Towns Push to Form New Conservative State

By NEWSRAEL Telling the Israeli Story

Supporters of ‘New California‘ say Sacramento has failed to address concerns from residents who live outside Los Angeles and San Francisco.

FIND YOUR FAITH, THE BEST IS YET TO COME

Many think California cannot be saved. We believe California is just getting started. With a Fresh start we can use are experience living under old California’s mismanagement to ensure that New California doesn’t make the same mistakes.

FOX NEWS — Rural voters in California have had it with the Democratic majority in Sacramento and are pushing for their communities to divorce the blue urban areas that dominate state politics.

Conservative residents in California’s rural regions are tired of overregulation, the high cost of living and the myriad of policies coming out of the Democratic-dominated state Legislature, said Paul Preston, who founded New California State in hopes of splintering off from its current home.

“We recognized that we were in a tyranny,” Preston told Fox News Digital, citing the disparity between Democrats and Republicans in state government.

Preston, a former school administrator, described California as a “one-party” state that operates similar to a communist regime by passing laws that disregard the rural class.

Under the proposed map, New California State would comprise nearly all of California’s 58 counties, except most of Los Angeles County and parts of Sacramento County, San Francisco and other parts of the Bay Area. The map is purely a proposal and doesn’t represent the final state borders, Preston said.

Supporters contend breaking California in two would provide fairer and more responsive governance for areas outside the state’s major cities.

Preston noted that the proposed state would border Mexico in an effort to combat illegal immigration. Among his many grievances are California’s crime woes, which prompted voters to recall San Francisco’s district attorney in 2022 and Alameda County DA Pamela Price in November. In Los Angeles County, voters ousted DA George Gascon on Nov. 5 after only one term as critics blamed him for being too lenient on criminals.

Voters also strongly passed tough-on-crime Proposition 36 last month despite efforts by state Democrats and Gov. Gavin Newsom to preserve a decade of criminal justice reform policies that critics say enabled criminals.

“I don’t think anybody’s going to tell California that we are free from invasion and we’re free from domestic violence,” Preston said, citing crime and the flow of illegal migrants into the state.

Fox News Digital has reached out to Newsom’s office and state Assembly Speaker Robert Rivas, a Democrat. The California Democratic Party said no one was available to comment on the matter.

ABOUT NEW CALIFORNIA STATE (NCS)

New California State was created by Californian Patriots that have had enough with the tyranny and corruption of the failed STATE OF CALIFORNIA government. By using the Article III, Section IV of the Constitution we are able to create a New state that guarantees us a Republican form of government, as our founding fathers intended. We are not a democracy! We are a Constitutional Republic and will return to this form of government.

OUR VISION

To restore California to the economic powerhouse that it once was. To provide a Republican form of government as the founders intended. To empower Californians with a free market economy and to eliminate wasteful spending.

WHAT WE DO

By starting with a clean slate we can ensure that California never falls into the debt hell it currently is in. We will accomplish this through innovation, less regulation, building dams, creating our own power and utilizing our vast resources found in our land.

OUR COMMUNITY

Californians will live in abundance and money will be put back into their pockets rather than constantly stolen with taxes that yield no positive results. California business will thrive and thus America will thrive. Jobs will be brought back to the state and Californians will hold their heads up high.

DHS secretary announces ‘jobs giveaway’ for newly arrived migrants with work permits

By Jihad Watch

What about Americans seeking jobs?

America doesn’t need to be supporting jobless illegals. Americans also need jobs. Responsible governments control migration, properly vet migrants, and put the needs of their home country first. Biden is doing none of those things. Instead, his administration is rewarding multitudes of unvetted foreign illegals, with criminals and terrorists among them.

Demonstrating how lightly the Biden administration regards American safety and well-being, Biden waived sanctions on Iran three days after the November election, providing the terrorist regime “access upward of $10 billion in once-frozen funds.” Why?

He also gave away a billion tax dollars to Africa, while residents of North Carolina are still struggling from the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

“DHS Chief Alejandro Mayorkas Announces Jobs Giveaway for Migrants,” by John Binder, Breitbart, December 10, 2024:

In the final weeks of President Joe Biden’s administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is announcing a jobs giveaway for newly arrived migrants with work permits.

On Tuesday, Mayorkas announced a final rule from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that will allow millions of migrants, many of whom have been released into the U.S. interior by the Biden administration, to keep their work permits for up to 540 days when they seek a renewal.

Migrants previously could renew their work permits for 180 days. For years, Democratic mayors had lobbied DHS to extend such automatic employment authorization for migrants. The rule will go into effect on Jan. 13, 2025.

Mayorkas said in a statement the move is meant to help “businesses fill” American jobs with more migrants:

Increasing the automatic extension period for certain employment authorization documents will help eliminate red tape that burdens employers, ensure hundreds of thousands of individuals eligible for employment can continue to contribute to our communities, and further strengthen our nation’s robust economy. [Emphasis added]…

Indeed, in the last year, more than a million foreign-born workers have secured American jobs while nearly 800,000 native-born Americans have dropped out of the workforce.

In July of this year, a Pew Research Center study found that as of 2022, more than 30 million legal immigrants and illegal aliens were holding American jobs — a 20-percent increase over the last 15 years….

Biden Program May Have Helped Sex Traffickers ‘Exploit Women and Girls’: Congressional Report

By Family Research Council

Human sex traffickers may have used a Biden administration program that imported tens of thousands of illegal immigrants a month into the United States “to exploit women and girls,” a congressional report has revealed.

In addition to breaking consecutive records for the largest number of border crossings in U.S. history, the Biden-Harris administration’s Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela (CHNV) program flew 30,000 illegal immigrants a month into the United States from those four nations alone.

“To mask the border crisis and artificially decrease historically high border encounters, President Biden and Vice President Harris implemented programs and policies that allowed aliens to bypass the southwest border so they would not be included as encounters in Border Patrol data,” notes the report, released by the House Judiciary Committee, titled “The Biden-Harris Administration’s CHNV Parole Program Two Years Later: A Fraud-Ridden, Unmitigated Disaster.”

“Sex traffickers have potentially used CHNV to exploit women and girls,” investigators found. “A fraud analysis of CHNV applications revealed that some applications that were sent from the same IP addresses were submitted on behalf of a high proportion of female CHNV aliens … raising concerns about potential sex trafficking. In one such case, 21 supporter applications were submitted from the same IP address on behalf of 18 females and only three males. At least six of the females were under the age of 18. Another concern surrounded the use of the same physical address by many supporters. According to the DHS analysis, 100 physical addresses were used at least 124 times each on behalf of 19,062 CHNV aliens.”

The report fuels concerns that the Biden-Harris administration has facilitated the heinous, illicit activities of human smugglers, drug cartels, and transnational criminal organizations. The administration is presently unable to account for 320,000 children whom it placed with U.S. sponsors after the minors crossed the border illegally.

U.S. taxpayers may also be paying welfare benefits to illegal immigrants brought into this country under CHNV. The report found Biden administration officials “approved CHNV supporters who admitted to receiving means-tested public benefits as part of their income listed as evidence that they can support a CHNV alien. Thus, American taxpayers may actually end up supporting CHNV aliens despite Biden-Harris Administration claims that those aliens will have supporters in the U.S.”

The Biden-Harris administration’s Department of Homeland Security temporarily halted the CHNV program in mid-July “out of an abundance of caution.” The pause coincided with the time Democratic leaders prevailed upon President Joe Biden to step aside and allow Kamala Harris to become the presidential nominee, out of fear his poor record on the economy and immigration would harm the party. The administration announced it would resume CHNV program flights in late August.

Before the mid-summer interruption, an internal investigation by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), obtained by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), uncovered evidence of significant fraud in CHNV, including the significant use of false Social Security numbers, including “666666666.” In addition:

  • 2,839 forms included non-existent zip codes.
  • 1,908 applications used fictitious phone numbers.
  • More than 1,800 applications featured the same, 184-word answer in response to a question.

“The most frequently used sponsor e-mail address was listed on 363 different forms. Further, the most frequently used parolee e-mail address was listed on 1,723 different forms collectively submitted by 477 different sponsors,” found FAIR.

The CHNV program approved applications by those who do not live in the four nations covered by that mass amnesty program, FAIR reported.

Critics say they are unsurprised by fraud, because the CHNV program itself is lawless. In 1996, Congress enacted a federal law — 8 U.S.C. § 1182(d)(5)(A) — which allows the attorney general to parole illegal immigrants into the United States “only on a case-by-case basis for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit.”

The Biden-Harris administration approved 650,200 applications from the CHNV program as of August 6.

Year-end numbers showed 2024 was the second-worst year for illegal immigration in U.S. history, with 2,901,142 illegal border crossings during the fiscal year, which began in October 2023.

The committee’s investigation “uncovered how the Biden-Harris Administration’s willingness to cast aside the best interests of Americans has enabled fraud, undermined national security, and endangered public safety, all in favor of ensuring that hundreds of thousands of otherwise illegal aliens can come to the U.S. through CHNV,” said the report.

Americans concerned with women’s and girls’ safety should support sealing the border and reversing illegal immigration, human rights advocates say. Polls show a majority of American (54%) support President-elect Donald Trump’s promises to begin mass deportations early in his second administration.

“This tragic reality underscores why the new administration’s promises to secure our borders, end the incentives for foreign nationals to put their lives at the mercy of ruthless criminals, and begin the process of removing Tren de Aragua and other brutal gangs from our soil are fully justified,” wrote Pawel Styrna, senior researcher at FAIR. “Those genuinely concerned about the welfare and safety of women and children should support secure borders and the rule of law, rather than misguided open-borders policies that empower and enrich cartels and gangs that force women, and even children, into prostitution.”

Trump Reportedly Has Ace Up His Sleeve For Countries That Refuse To Take Back Their Illegal Migrants

By The Daily Caller

The incoming Trump administration is reportedly devising a plan to remove illegal migrants from the United States, even if their home countries refuse to accept them.

Illegal migrants that have been ordered deported by an immigration judge, but hail from a country that refuses to take them back, may be sent to Turks and Caicos, the Bahamas, Grenada, Panama or possibly elsewhere once President-elect Donald Trump returns to the White House, according to NBC News. Such a plan, which has yet to be confirmed by the transition team, could prove to be a game-changer in the president-elect’s promised goal of conducting the largest deportation initiative in U.S. history.

It’s not immediately clear if these illegal migrants would be allowed to remain and work in the countries in which they are deported, or what type of pressure Trump officials are applying to these host governments. A spokesperson for the Trump transition team did not respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Foreign governments that refuse to take back deportees have long frustrated federal immigration authorities in multiple administrations. In lieu of remaining in detention indefinitely, many of these individuals may simply be released back into the U.S., even if an immigration judge has ordered them to be removed.

Under the Biden administration, federal immigration authorities and major cities across the country experienced an unprecedented illegal immigration crisis. Management of this crisis was made more difficult when Venezuela, the second-highest source of illegal immigration into the U.S., stopped accepting deportation flights in February.

Nearly 8 million Venezuelans have fled the country under Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, a leftist authoritarian who has overseen rampant inflation, economic turmoil and political repression. Trump is reportedly being pushed to make a deal with Maduro’s government, which would involve them accepting deportees again in exchange for an easing of U.S. sanctions, but it’s not clear if the incoming president is receptive to such an idea.

In the past, the Chinese and Cuban governments have also proven uncooperative with deportation flights from the U.S. However, both countries have begun accepting more flights from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) once again.

During Trump’s first White House term, he secured safe third country agreements with El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, which were intended to keep asylum seekers at bay by forcing them to seek refuge in those countries first before applying in the U.S. However, the Biden administration suspended those deals immediately upon entering office — part of a massive unraveling of Trump-era immigration policies by President Joe Biden that helped spark the current southern border crisis.

Trump plans to enter office and begin to not only conduct the largest deportation program ever witnessed in U.S. history, but he has also vowed to resume border wall construction, end birthright citizenship for those born to illegal migrant parents, restart the travel ban and bring back the Remain in Mexico program — which kept asylum seekers waiting in Mexico while their claims were adjudicated in immigration court.

DOGE Zeroes in on $150 Billion Spent on Illegal Immigration in Single Year

By Family Research Council

As the U.S. continues to accumulate debt at a record pace, entrepreneurs Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy of the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) are calling attention to tens of billions of taxpayer dollars being spent on illegal immigrants.

Citing a Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) study, DOGE posted on X Monday, “In 2023 alone, illegal immigration cost taxpayers $150.7 billion. To put this in context with other costs (adjusted for inflation): World War I: $334 billion[;] Apollo Space Program: $257 billion[;] Manhattan Project: $30 billion[;] Panama Canal: $15.2 billion[;] Hoover Dam: $1 billion.”

The FAIR study, which was released in March of last year, combined estimated expenditures by the federal government ($66 billion) with state and local costs ($115 billion), minus $31 billion in estimated tax contributions from migrants. The money was spent to cover schooling, health care costs including uncompensated hospital expenses and Medicaid, law enforcement costs including incarceration, removal, and border protection, and welfare costs including food and housing assistance, among other expenses. The $150 billion total equaled a $35 billion increase from a previous estimate of $116 billion in 2017.

The sharp acceleration in spending has coincided with the largest surge in illegal immigration ever seen in the U.S., which has occurred as a result of a series of open-border policies implemented by the Biden administration beginning in 2021. The total number of encounters with illegal border crossers as of June was 8.2 million more than in the entire first Trump administration.

The spending on migrants is part of a four-year federal spending spree never before seen in American history. Biden has overseen annual budget deficits of $2 trillion, and by the time he leaves office next January, it is estimated that he will have overseen a net increase of over $9 trillion in the national debt, a record-setting amount for a single term.

FAIR Executive Director Julie Kirchner told Fox News on Tuesday that the total amount of taxpayer dollars spent on illegal immigrants is likely much higher than their original estimate. “The population we cited in the study was 15.5 million. We now estimate that it’s over 16.8 million, and we’re in the process right now of doing another estimate on the illegal alien population, and I’m sure it will be higher. So, we know the costs are going to go up.” She also noted that their report did not include state and local costs associated with sheltering migrants.

In New York City, where there are currently over 58,000 illegal immigrants facing criminal charges, almost 100,000 migrants seeking asylum have moved there over the last two years, and the city estimates it will spend over $12 billion through fiscal year 2025. Meanwhile, Chicago has spent over $400 million on migrants over the past two years.

“The scale of spending on illegal immigration boggles the mind!” Musk observed Monday in response to DOGE’s highlighting of the FAIR report.

Kirchner expressed confidence that DOGE’s efforts could save “billions and billions of dollars each year” in taxpayer money by ending government-subsidized health care plans as well as income and child tax credits for illegal immigrants.

NumbersUSA Looks Forward to Helping to Restore Immigration Credibility

By Dr. Richard M. Swier, LTC U.S. Army (Ret.)

/PRNewswire/ — NumbersUSA, the nation’s largest single-issue advocacy group, congratulates President-elect Donald Trump and members of the 119th Congress on behalf of our millions of grassroots activists and supporters.

Donald Trump won a decisive victory based on the top two issues for voters — the economy and immigration — which are inextricably tied.

President-elect Trump has a clear mandate from the American people to restore the credibility of our immigration system, ensuring that it functions first and foremost in the interest of the American people.

Trump has promised to reestablish the rule of law, both at the border and in the interior of the country. His running mate, JD Vance, has promised that “we’re done importing foreign labor, we’re going to fight for American citizens and their good jobs and their good wages.”

These messages resonate with voters appalled by the past four years of the Biden-Harris administration’s open border policies, which have brought in the largest number of immigrants – both legal and illegal – of any single-term administration in history.

America was on pace to add 35 million new foreign residents in a single decade, an unsustainable increase that would make it harder for Americans to afford housing, secure good-paying jobs, and improve their quality of life.

NumbersUSA looks forward to working with President-elect Trump, Vice President-elect Vance, and members of both parties in Congress to make reforms that limit immigration a reality.

On day one in office, Trump can end programs put in place by the Biden administration that incentivized and rewarded illegal immigration. As Speaker Johnson has indicated, the priority for the House of Representatives is to reintroduce and pass H.R. 2 – a crucial first step.

We also urge the Trump administration and Congress to effect more lasting reforms by pushing for NumbersUSA’s Great Solutions in legislation.

VIDEO: Americans Are Paying $220 Million To Pakistan Government To House Illegals at Roosevelt Hotel in NYC

By The Geller Report

“This is Nuts,” Ramaswamy Blasts NYC’s $220 MN Deal with Pakistan’s Hotel | Firstpost America

New York City’s $220 million deal to rent the Roosevelt Hotel, owned by Pakistan’s government, has sparked outrage. The iconic Manhattan hotel, now used to house undocumented migrants, is part of Pakistan’s efforts to tackle its economic crisis. Republican leader Vivek Ramaswamy has slammed the agreement, calling it “nuts,” as NYC taxpayers effectively fund a foreign government struggling with debt and mismanagement. The three-year lease, costing $210 per room per night for 1,250 rooms, has critics questioning the city’s spending priorities. With Pakistan profiting from America’s migrant crisis, Ramaswamy vows to fight such wasteful expenditures. Is this deal a necessity or a gross misuse of public funds? The debate rages on.

Vivek Ramaswamy blasts NYC for $220 million migrant deal with Pakistani-owned hotel: ‘A broken system on display’

By: Economic Times, 30 November, 2024:

New York City has leased the Roosevelt Hotel, owned by the Pakistani government, for $220 million to house undocumented migrants. The 19-storey hotel was closed in 2020 but reopened this year under the deal. The lease agreement forms part of a $1.1 billion IMF bailout for Pakistan. Critics like Vivek Ramaswamy have slammed the arrangement, arguing it uses taxpayer money to benefit a foreign government. The deal has reignited debates on immigration spending and government waste.

New York City has committed $220 million to rent the Roosevelt Hotel, a Manhattan landmark owned by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), a government entity of Pakistan. The hotel, housing over 1,200 rooms, is being used to accommodate undocumented migrants for three years under a lease agreement. The deal is expected to generate significant revenue for Pakistan, aiding its financial recovery efforts.

Controversy Over Use of Taxpayer Funds

The arrangement has drawn sharp criticism from US Republican Vivek Ramaswamy, who expressed his disapproval in a social media post. “A taxpayer-funded hotel for illegal migrants is owned by the Pakistani government which means NYC taxpayers are effectively paying a foreign government to house illegals in our own country. This is nuts,” he said.

Ramaswamy’s reaction followed a report by author John LeFevre, who revealed details of the agreement on social media platform X. LeFevre stated, “The city of New York pays $220 million to rent the entire Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan to house illegal migrants. The hotel is owned by the government of Pakistan, and the deal was part of a $1.1 billion IMF bailout package to help Pakistan avoid defaulting on their international debt.”

A World of Leverage

By The Daily Signal

President-elect Donald Trump understands, better than any recent American president, one simple rule when it comes to dealing with the world: Leverage matters and ought to be applied to those who oppose American interests.

Trump believes, for example, that tariffs ought to be used to threaten those who would close their markets to American products or flood America with fentanyl or manipulate the pricing system to their own benefit. He believes that maximum pressure ought to be unleashed on countries who seek to destabilize vital strategic regions to their own ends.

And he is correct.

Trump has often been characterized as a bully, both publicly and privately. But the reality of the world is simple: Someone will be doing the bullying, and someone will be bullied. The only question is which party is which. It turns out that if America ceases to use leverage against its enemies, or to pressure neutral countries to align more solidly with it, our enemies will use their leverage to do what they want.

China isn’t shy about its use of power in the world; neither are Russia or Iran. Xi Jinping has never apologized for his aggressive use of military threat against the Philippines or Taiwan; he has never shied away from the use of economic sticks and carrots against weaker countries. Vladimir Putin is fully willing to invade his neighbors and cut off oil supply to his enemies. Iran has spread its terror proxies across the Middle East, cudgeling entire governments into doing its will.

So why wouldn’t America pursue similar tactics?

This is, for some odd reason, a mysterious insight to members of the Biden administration, who seem willing to apply leverage only to America’s allies and who seem to think that conciliation and tepidity somehow achieve victory against America’s enemies. Perhaps they are of the Noam Chomsky-esque view that the world’s only country with actual agency is the United States, and that everything else is “blowback”—a common but foolhardy view rooted in a form of self-centeredness that ignores the fact that every country has its own interests and pursues those interests with alacrity.

China does not threaten the South China Sea because of America’s naval presence; were America absent, China’s threats would simply be far more successful. Russia did not invade Ukraine because of Western influence in Ukraine; were that influence missing, Russia simply would have treated Ukraine as an outpost like Belarus long ago. Iran does not spread terrorism because of American presence in the region; it spreads terrorism because that is the best way for it to foment control over areas outside its purview.

America has interests in the world. Those interests are worth muscular defense, particularly in economic terms. And Trump instinctively understands that. Geopolitics is not a place of laws and regulations, enforced by neutral arbiters. It is a jungle, and the laws of the jungle apply. The best hope for the world is that the strongest also happen to be the best. But if the best refuse to be the strongest, someone else will be.

The world will be more stable with Trump at the helm than Joe Biden. That much is obvious. And in quieter moments, world leaders often acknowledge that reality. But it should be remembered just why that is true: because the unapologetic American, confident in the interests of his country, is the best option for stability and growth in a cruel world. That does not make America the world’s policeman; American interests are not specious “global interests.”

But the pursuit of American interests has generally beneficial externalities. And American refusal to pursue those interests leaves the world in the hands of those who would tear it apart, piece by piece.

‘Explore Every Action Necessary’: Here’s How Trump Admin, GOP May Change Fight Against Mexican Cartels

By The Daily Caller

The Trump transition team and congressional Republicans have promised an unprecedented immigration crackdown, which could also include a novel approach to combating drug cartels.

President-elect Donald Trump’s immigration platform includes a number of hardline measures, such as resuming construction on the U.S.-Mexico border wall, reviving the Remain in Mexico program for asylum seekers, conducting the largest deportation operation in U.S. history and a number of other hawkish proposals. Trump allies and upcoming administration officials have also called on the U.S. to officially designate key drug cartels as terrorist organizations, which would open more resources to combating the crime syndicates that have long sowed chaos at the southern border.

“The drug cartels are waging war on America — and it’s now time for America to wage war on the cartels,” then-candidate Trump said in December 2023, and declared that his plan to fight the cartels included designating them as foreign terrorist organizations.

“Millions and millions of families and people are being destroyed,” he continued. “When I am back in the White House, the drug kingpins and vicious traffickers will never sleep soundly again.”

Nearly a year after that announcement was made, Trump is now due to return to the White House for a non-consecutive second term, bringing his proposal for cartels far closer to reality.

Former Immigration and Customs Enforcement acting director Tom Homan — who Trump recently tapped to serve as his immigration czar — declared that he’d like to see cartels be given the terrorist designation, having said in a news interview in November that they have “killed more Americans than every terrorist organization in the world combined.”

A foreign terrorist organization (FTO) designation by the State Department — which has so far been mostly applied to Islamic terrorist groups that pose a significant threat to American security — would trigger U.S. authorization to freeze financial assets, prohibit entry into the country and prosecute members for supporting terrorism. The proposal itself is not new, as it’s been championed by border hawks over the years.

“What we need to do is make sure that legally we are approaching cartels as the dangerous organizations that they are, and I think an FTO designation is appropriate,” Texas Rep. Chip Roy said to the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Roy was an early proponent in the House of Representatives for this action, having introduced legislation in 2019 that called on then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to designate cartels as terrorists. The Texas lawmaker introduced a bill in 2023 that called for the Gulf Cartel, Cartel Del Noreste, Cartel de Sinaloa, and Cartel de Jalisco Nueva Generacion to be given the FTO designation.

While the incoming Trump administration appears to be fully on board with this approach, it remains to be seen if it can be done. Trump himself explicitly called for drug cartels to be labeled as terrorists in November 2019 — largely in reaction to the massacre of American Mormons living south of the border by drug lords earlier that month — but those plans never came to fruition in his first term.

The Mexican government has also long opposed the idea of FTO designation for drug cartels, believing the approach to largely be an affront to their national sovereignty.

In a statement to the DCNF, Todd Bensman, who serves as a senior national security fellow for the Center for Immigration Studies, said he doesn’t “outright oppose the idea” of an FTO designation, but noted that a cartel organization can employ tens of thousands of individuals. For this reason, careful scope would be needed so U.S. officials are not overwhelmed as they carry out their counterterrorism mission.

Roy argued that a specific FTO designation isn’t completely necessary, but some sort of formal action is needed in order to fully take on the threat of these drug cartels.

“We can get hung up with words and designations and whatever,” the Texas lawmaker said. “Alright, if you want to come up with a special designation that’s the equivalent, then so be it.”

“But the bottom line is that we need to designate them as the dangers that they are and then be able to take action with the full tools at our disposal,” Roy continued. “We need to explore every action necessary to stop them.”

On Election Day, Republicans won control of not only the White House and the Senate, but also maintained their majority in the House of Representatives, which will allow the Trump administration to more freely foment its agenda to control illegal immigration and tackle crime emanating south of the U.S.-Mexico border. Roy urged lawmakers to get behind the White House to push these goals over the finish line.

“What we need is the executive branch to act and we need the legislature to give the executive branch the tools necessary to act,” Roy said. “We can’t blink. We need to move now.”
