A security firm called Strider Technologies published a report this week that said China paid leading scientists at America’s Los Alamos National Laboratory hefty sums of money to conduct research for the Chinese Communist government, including research with military applications that could threaten U.S. national security.
The report, titled The Los Alamos Club: How the People’s Republic of China Recruited Leading Scientists from Los Alamos National Laboratory to Advance its Military Programs, offered a rather straightforward answer to its titular question — China recruited those scientists by offering them up to a million dollars each, and at least 154 of them accepted.
Weren’t the Rosenbergs executed for this?
The Strider report is an extraordinarily detailed look at a problem that has been discussed at length in recent years, China’s extremely aggressive “talent recruitment” programs. The People’s Republic of China puts a great deal of effort into recruiting talented foreigners to serve its purposes, often without emigrating to China or leaving the positions they hold in free nations. Often, but not always, these recruitment programs target foreign citizens of Chinese heritage.
The most notorious of these initiatives is called the Thousand Talents Program (TTP). Many of the scientists in the Strider report were involved in TTP or its youth wing.
China’s recruitment activities often look a lot like espionage or technology theft, and sometimes participants are prosecuted for such, including employees of the Los Alamos National Laboratory. Other scientists and academics have been disciplined or fired by U.S. institutions for failing to disclose the full extent of their work for China. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) in April 2021 told a Senate committee that over 500 federally funded scientists were under investigation for possible links to China and other foreign powers. At least 154 Chinese scientists who worked on government-sponsored research at the U.S.’s foremost national security laboratory over the last two decades have been recruited to do scientific work in China — some of which helped advance military technology that threatens American national security — according to a new private intelligence report obtained by NBC News.
The report, by Strider Technologies, describes what it calls a systemic effort by the government of China to place Chinese scientists at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where nuclear weapons were first developed.
Many of the scientists were later lured back to China to help make advances in such technologies as deep-earth-penetrating warheads, hypersonic missiles, quiet submarines and drones, according to the report.
We are literally financing our own destruction in every possible way. It’s not surprising that Communist China would want to plant its own people at Los Alamos. The mindboggling thing is that they were able to plant over 150 of them. No waiting.
For instance, according to the report, Zhao Yusheng received nearly $20 million in U.S. taxpayer grants during an 18-year career at Los Alamos, where he held a top-secret Q clearance and led a defense project developing bombs that can penetrate deep underground.
Then, in 2016, Zhao joined a talent program, Strider found, and left the U.S. for a job at a research center in China. The report notes that before that, while he was at Los Alamos, he hired another Chinese scientist who worked with him on the bomb research. That scientist filed a patent in China in 2007 for an “ultra thick penetrating warhead,” according to the report.
Zhao is now a vice president at China’s Southern University of Science and Technology, known as SUStech, which conducts defense research. He did not respond to requests for comment.
The baffling question here is why we keep hiring people coming from an enemy state and then expected different results? What exactly are the qualifications for a secret Q clearance? An ability to wear pants? A solid grade point average? Technical ability with no regard to obvious issues? It used to be that people with family in enemy nations or even foreign nations had trouble getting security clearance. And that was over the top. But now all the barriers are gone.
“The correct number of Chinese or Russian citizens at our weapon labs should be zero,” said Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Ala., the ranking member of the House Armed Services Committee.
But that’s crazy talk. We need cheap foreign labor in our labs so we can be ripped off by our enemies.
“U.S. officials and experts say most Chinese scientists who immigrate to the U.S. remain here — and many have made significant contributions to U.S. defense technology.”
Except the tradeoff doesn’t seem to be worth if they go on to use what we know in the service of our leading enemy.
There’s a huge difference between Chinese immigrants opposed to the regime and those who are supportive or loyal to it. We used to make those distinctions with Russia, we threw them away with China. A George Soros-backed immigration nonprofit that’s suing Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and other officials after the state flew illegal migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, has repeatedly called to “defund” two agencies responsible for protecting the U.S. border.
The group, Alianza Americas, has supported defunding Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The nonprofit, which Soros’ Open Society Foundations (OSF) network donated almost $1.4 million to between 2016 and 2020, notably launched a “Freedom for All” campaign in February that urged the U.S. government to “abolish immigration detention & defund private prisons that hold the majority of detained migrants.”
“@ALIANZAAMERICAS is out on the Capitol with #DefundHate @UNITEDWEDREAM & others to call for cuts in funding for CBP’s massive border enforcement operations, including Border Patrol agents, invasive border surveillance technologies, and physical walls & barriers,” Alianza Americas tweeted Sept. 12. “#FreedomForAll.”
Alianza Americas and the advocacy law firm Lawyers for Civil Rights filed a lawsuit Tuesday on behalf of “Vineyard migrants and all similarly situated people who are fraudulently induced to travel across state lines by DeSantis and the State of Florida.”
Last Wednesday, DeSantis sent two flights with illegals to Martha’s Vineyard. Democrats as well as liberal activists have called the move “inhumane,” and Alianza Americas’ lawsuit on behalf of the illegal migrants alleges officials in Florida “intentionally targeted only individuals who are non-white and born outside the United States.”
“It is opportunistic that activists would use illegal immigrants for political theater,” a spokeswoman for DeSantis told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
As part of its Freedom for All campaign, Alianza Americas in September met with the office of Democratic Illinois Rep. Dick Durbin “to share about the urgency of defunding” both CBP and ICE, according to Twitter posts.
In 2018, Alianza joined over 200 groups to demand Congress reject additional funding for ICE. The groups sharply criticized the Trump administration for its border wall construction.
Mark Morgan, the former acting CBP commissioner under former President Donald Trump, said “it’s absolutely absurd” that groups such as Alianza Americas want to defund federal agencies responsible for safeguarding the U.S. border from violent crime and drugs.
“It’s pure politics and it’s pure ideology,” he told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “The only thing they do is focus on illegal immigration. What these advocacy groups won’t be honest with the American people about is that when you facilitate and you encourage illegal immigration, that drives our borders to be insecure.”
Alianza America in 2019 called on Congress in a roughly two-minute video to “defund ICE and CBP, two agencies who are directly complicit in the abuse and death of thousands.” It criticized the policy of deportations in the video and pointed out examples of individuals dying in ICE detention facilities.
Alianza Americas did not respond to a request for comment nor did OSF.

Migrants Say They Weren’t Tricked Into Coming To DC
Massachusetts is activating 125 national guardsmen to help transport the 50 illegal immigrants who recently arrived at the island of Martha’s Vineyard late Wednesday off the island, Republican Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker announced Friday.
Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis sent the migrants to Martha’s Vineyard on Wednesday as part of the state’s program transporting illegal migrants to sanctuary cities. Massachusetts is now activating its national guard and offering to transport the migrants to Joint Base Cape Cod, Baker announced.
The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) is coordinating with state and local officials to provide food and shelter, according to CBS. Baker said locals had provided temporary shelter to the migrants but were unable to help them long-term.
Today, our administration announced new shelter and humanitarian supports at Joint Base Cape Cod for the migrants who arrived this week in Martha’s Vineyard.
“The island communities are not equipped to provide sustainable accommodation, and state officials developed a plan to deliver a comprehensive humanitarian response,” he said, according to CBS.
The move to the military base will be voluntary, according to Baker, who noted that Joint Base Cape Cod has previously housed people fleeing Hurricane Katrina and served as a medical site during for COVID-19. It will now offer food and shelter, healthcare and legal services to the 50 migrants, according to Baker.
The rate of illegal immigration through the southern border has shattered records throughout the Biden administration, with nearly 2 million individuals encountered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) between October 2021 and July 2022.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — A Florida sheriff’s deputy working an overnight shift providing safety in a construction zone was accidentally struck and killed by a worker operating a front end loader who is in the U.S. illegally, officials said Friday.
Pinellas County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Hartwick had started his shift shortly before the accident happened late Thursday on Interstate 275, Sheriff Bob Gualtieri said at a pair of Friday news conferences.
The initial name given by the worker, Victor Vazquez-Real, was false, Gualtieri said. His real name is Juan Ariel Molina-Salles, 32, who the sheriff said is a migrant from Honduras who arrived in March and was deported previously.
“He shouldn’t have been here. He shouldn’t have been driving that thing,” Gualtieri said of the large road construction vehicle. “He shouldn’t be working.”
Molina-Salles fled from the job site on foot, allegedly with the help of a co-worker, but was eventually tracked down using bloodhounds, the sheriff said.
The sheriff said Hartwick had blocked the two inside southbound lanes of the interstate and was standing on the road’s shoulder when he was struck by the front end loader traveling at about 20 mph (32 kph). Hartwick died instantly.
The construction worker continued driving for about one mile (1.6 kilometers) before stopping in a parking lot, the sheriff said. Gualtieri said the man then told another construction worker that he had killed a deputy. That worker took Molina-Salles’ gear and hid it in a wooded area, according to the sheriff.
The sheriff said Molina-Salles will be charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death, which carries a minimum mandatory four-year prison sentence in the event of a conviction. The other construction worker is being charged with being an accessory after the fact.
It was not immediately known whether Molina-Salles has a lawyer who can speak on his behalf. He had not yet been booked into jail early Friday afternoon.
Hartwick had been with the agency for 19 years.
“Mike was a good guy, a good cop,” Gualtieri said. “He did his job.”
The company that employs the two workers, Tampa-based Archer Western Construction, did not immediately respond to a phone call seeking comment. The company is involved in several large transportation projects in the Tampa Bay area, some involving contracts with the state of Florida.
Gualtieri said he referred the matter to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, which has jurisdiction over immigration issues.
The office of Gov. Ron DeSantis released a statement saying the state was investigating to determine whether undocumented migrants have used fraudulent information to obtain employment with contractors working with the State of Florida.

The majority of Hispanic voters surveyed approve of the migrant relocation policies enforced by some Republican governors, a Politico/Morning Consult poll found Wednesday.
The poll surveyed 223 Hispanics and asked them if they believe the transporting of migrants to liberal enclaves by Republican Govs. Greg Abbott of Texas and Ron DeSantis of Florida are appropriate. Forty-one percent of Hispanics surveyed approved of the relocation policies, according to the poll.
Just over one-third of those surveyed, 35%, disapproved of the governors’ transporting of migrants, according to the poll. The numbers resembled the answers of the white voters surveyed, finding that 46% approved and 39% disapproved.

According to a brand new POLITICO / Morning Consult poll, a plurality of Hispanics say it’s appropriate for Republican governors to relocate migrants to liberal areas — by nearly the same margin as whites.
Among the total number of registered voters, the opinion was almost entirely cut in half with 42% approving and 41% opposing the relocation policy put forth by the Republican governors. The poll surveyed 2,005 registered voters between Sept. 16-18 with a 2% margin of error.
The governors’ actions sparked outrage among some liberal figures, such as The Nation’s justice correspondent, Elie Mystal, who accused DeSantis of “human trafficking” the 50 illegal migrants who were recently sent to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. Sheriff Javier Salazar of Bexar County, Texas, announced an investigation Monday into allegations that migrants were “lured” onto the planes.
“The allegations that we’ve heard, it’s absolutely distasteful, it’s disgusting. It’s an abuse of human rights. But, I would like to find out sooner rather than later what charges if any are going to apply and to whom,” Salazar said. “I believe there’s some criminal activity involved, but at present, we’re trying to keep an open mind and we’re going to investigate to find out, to determine what laws were broken, if that does turn out to be the case.”
Taryn Fenske, a spokesperson for DeSantis, said in a statement received Tuesday by the Daily Caller that the migrants voluntarily chose to board the two planes chartered to Massachusetts. The Florida governor also confirmed Friday that the migrants voluntarily traveled to the upper-class New England island.
Migrants received brochures informing them of their destination before boarding the flight to Martha’s Vineyard, according to documents viewed Friday by the Daily Caller. The brochures showed migrants where they were headed and offered a variety of resources on job opportunities and community services areas on the island.
Three Venezuelan migrants — Yanet Doe, Pablo Doe and Jesus Doe — filed a class action lawsuit Tuesday against DeSantis, alleging they were “manipulated” and stripped of their constitutional rights protected under the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments.

The United States under the Biden administration is using the force of government to harass the late Phyllis Schlafly’s group in Alabama.
In recent months, the Eagle Forum of Alabama has helped write legislation in that state to protect children with gender confusion from receiving “treatment” that could permanently damage them.
In his End of Day Report (9/9/22), Gary Bauer writes, “After Alabama banned transgender surgeries on children, the Biden Administration sued the state in federal court to block the law. But they’re not just arguing against the constitutionality of the law. They are also going after a conservative public policy group that lobbied on behalf of the law.” Of course, that group is the Eagle Forum of Alabama.
The United States’ Department of Justice issued a subpoena in August demanding records from the Eagle Forum of Alabama, stating: “Several public statements suggest that Eagle Forum of Alabama staff may have had some involvement in drafting the legislation or its predecessor bills. As a result, the United States is issuing the enclosed subpoena for certain records in the Eagle Forum of Alabama’s possession from January 1, 2017 through the present.”
The official subpoena demands: “any draft legislation, proposed legislations, or model legislation.” This included all their communiques on the subject, e.g., “any social media postings.”
Eagle Forum of Alabama responded to this “unprecedented request”: “This should cause every single advocacy group or individual in America engaged in the legislative process to pause and consider the potential ramifications if any part of this subpoena is allowed to stand.” Becky Garritson, the executive director of the organization, explained more to me on a radio segment.
Kristen Ullman, president of Eagle Forum (nationally), comments on the wider issue here: “If the Department of Justice doesn’t like your viewpoint it may target you next.”
What is the government alleging was illegal? Certainly it’s not illegal for an organization to be involved with crafting legislation?
The Biden Administration’s action is particularly astounding because we do not yet fully grasp the long-term deleterious effects of the puberty blockers and body-part-removal surgeries to “cure” gender dysphoria.
In her eye-opening book, Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters (2020), Abigail Shrier chronicles the incredible harm being foisted on so many children in our society today, especially girls, because of this current fad of transgender mania.
Shrier, a writer for The Wall Street Journal, notes, “In 2016, natal females accounted for 46 percent of all sex reassignment surgeries in the United States. A year later it was 70 percent.”
She adds, “Some small proportion of the population will always be transgender. But perhaps the current craze will not always lure troubled young girls with no history of gender dysphoria, enlisting them in a lifetime of hormone dependency and disfiguring surgeries….No adolescent should pay this high a price for having been, briefly, a follower.”
The left is imposing on this country a form of mental insanity. Both God and science teach us that we are either male or female. God said He has created us male or female in His image. Science teaches us that we have trillions of cells in the human body, and virtually every one of them provides a marker that you are either male or female.
No one denies gender dysphoria, where some children feel confused. “Am I a girl trapped in a boy’s body?” they wonder. But experts say that about 95% of these children with gender dysphoria will grow out of this by around puberty—if the process is not interrupted along the way.
Tragically, there are many people in high places that are interrupting this process all too often.
And then when children go through with some form of transition, very often deep depression follows, as documented at www.sexchangeregret.com, a ministry to help the hurting.
Dr. Ryan T. Anderson, author of When Harry Became Sally, writes: “The most thorough follow-up of sex-reassigned people—extending over 30 years and conducted in Sweden, where the culture is strongly supportive of the transgendered—documents their lifelong mental unrest. Ten to 15 years after surgical reassignment, the suicide rate of those who had undergone sex-reassignment surgery rose to 20 times that of comparable peers.”
The founders gave us the First Amendment to enshrine in the Constitution the right to freely practice religion and by extension, the right of conscience. We also have free speech rights and the right to petition our government in case of grievances. That would include lobbying for legislation for the good of society.
But the Biden administration is steam rolling over conscience rights, despite the Constitution.
Phyllis Schlafly herself once told me in a 2004 television interview: “The Constitution is not out of date. It’s just as good today as when it was written.” Would that it was being followed today by the Biden administration.

Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ office challenged arguments that he “misled” illegal migrants to board planes to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, saying that they were given days to decide whether to travel to the island, senior officials with the governor’s office said on a call with reporters Monday afternoon.
The illegal migrants, who were flown from Texas to the island, were informed of their destination and given days to decide whether they wanted to board the flights the governor was offering, the officials said. DeSantis sent two planes of illegal migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, a popular destination for many wealthy elites, on Sept. 16.
“Everybody was given multiple opportunities to, you know, to voluntarily go or to decide even after receiving meals, accommodations and an opportunity to clean up and get some rest to stay behind if they wanted and some chose to do that. These were people that were in a rough situation, and undoubtedly had their circumstances improved,” one official said.
The Daily Caller News Foundation recently obtained the packets of documents that DeSantis’ office gave to the illegal migrants that pointed them to local refugee and shelter resources and a map with the island labeled and marked with a red star. The official acknowledged reporting of such documents from multiple outlets, saying some reports show “authentic” packets.
Multiple media outlets reported that the illegal migrants were told they were going to Boston, not Martha’s Vineyard, and promised specific jobs, which the official said wasn’t true.
“They were given every opportunity over a multiple day period to decide if they didn’t want to go on the trip and to go a different direction,” the official said. “Indeed, some of these individuals after a night or two of accommodations chose to stay behind and not go on the trip. During the flights, individuals were given bags with snacks, with water, with other provisions of information taken from the Massachusetts website that talks about benefits that are available in a sanctuary state.”
The illegal migrants were homeless, malnourished and had been sleeping in parking lots around the Texas border before they were given shelter and time to decide whether to take the flights, according to the officials.
“Many had been in a shelter at some point previously and had been kicked out, did not have a place to go and essentially we’re wandering homeless along the border,” the official said. “We gave everybody a voluntary opportunity, it was made very clear it was voluntary to go to Massachusetts, and at multiple occasions prior to the departure of these flights these individuals were told they would be going on Martha’s Vineyard.”
Several states have threatened DeSantis with possible legal actions. Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom urged Attorney General Merrick Garland to investigate DeSantis’ effort for alleged kidnapping and civil rights violations.
About 50 illegal migrants DeSantis sent to Martha’s Vineyard have since been relocated to Joint Base Cape Cod because the island was not equipped to help them for a long period of time, Republican Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker said at the time.
If Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ flying illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard was a political stunt, it sure worked. Finally, the country is buzzing about illegal immigration, and Joe Biden’s open borders policies are getting the attention they deserve. But left-wing activists and their willing accomplices in the press hate DeSantis for it, and are launching Stinger missiles – including a class action lawsuit alleging misrepresentation – into his operation.
DeSantis’ flights are meant to draw attention to the ruinous consequences of Biden’s open borders policies: chaos at the border, fentanyl deaths, and a growing terrorist threat chief among them.
Biden’s border chaos continues. The border patrol reports it has encountered more than two million illegal aliens so far this fiscal year, a record number. That’s 8,000 encounters a day, the highest ever. That doesn’t even count the ‘got-aways’. All these people are now in the country. Instead of closing the border, Kamala Harris wants to reward these law-breakers with a pathway to citizenship. Two more Texas counties responded to the border chaos by declaring it an “invasion” – bringing the total to 29 – and Texas Governor Greg Abbott has just designated Mexican cartels as terrorist organizations.
Speaking of terrorists, Venezuelan paramilitary personnel are embedding themselves into north-bound caravans and organizing into cell structures led by unit commanders once inside the United States. So it appears Latin American socialists are not done exporting revolution just yet. On top of that, an Inspector General report found the Biden administration let Afghan evacuees into the country who were not properly vetted, some of whom are national security risks. Oh, Joe, what have you done.
As for fentanyl, Florida authorities seized enough fentanyl to kill four million people. The fentanyl was routed through California, but there was enough left there to kill a girl who died at school and cause six other students to overdose. Record amounts of fentanyl and meth are being seized in Texas and Arizona. Oh Joe, what have you done.
Arizona authorities have lost track of 550 alien children. It is feared many of the missing children are now victims of sex trafficking. Almost 750 illegal aliens have died trying to cross the southern border this fiscal year. Texas morgues are ordering more refrigerators to keep up with the flow of dead bodies. Oh Joe, what have you done.
Double down, that’s what he’s done. In previous commentaries, I’ve given you more than two dozen policy changes the Biden administration has made to open the border. Here are two more to add to the list: prohibiting the use of GPS technology to track the whereabouts of illegal aliens released into the U.S., and allowing illegal aliens to receive food stamps, Medicaid, and housing benefits without being barred from permanent admission as a public charge. Also, an Inspector General report indicated the administration is doing a bad job screening visa applications in foreign countries and cannot certify applicants are properly vetted.
In previous commentaries, I’ve listed various theories that could account for why Biden wants the border open: replacing the present population and getting a permanent political majority for the Democrats. Here’s one more to add to the mix: Miss Venezuela 1984, now in the United States, warns an open border is prelude to a left-wing authoritarian takeover. It happened in Venezuela before Chavez took power, and it could happen here. If that sounds far-fetched, consider this. DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, an open borders crazy, met with George Soros-funded groups during a trip to the border last year, according to government records. Wouldn’t you like to know what they discussed? Is it possible the Biden administration is in touch with socialist revolutionaries from Venezuela now in the United States to start the preparation for a left-wing authoritarian takeover? Are they here to disrupt the November elections and provoke a national emergency so the elections can be canceled? If not, what ARE they here for? Explain it to me.

U.S. Border Patrol has seen a massive spike in southern border encounters with people on the U.S. terror watchlist between ports of entry, according to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) statistics.
CBP personnel came across individuals on the watchlist 78 times in those areas between October and August, the data reveals. There have been more than 2,000,000 migrant encounters on the southern border so far this fiscal year, a record-breaking surge.
CBP reported only fifteen southern border encounters with people on the watchlist between ports of entry in FY2021. No such incidents were recorded in FY2019.

President Joe Biden appointed Vice President Kamala Harris to address migration’s root causes early last year, and she did not visit the southern border until more than 90 days later. Harris insisted in a “Meet the Press” interview released Sept. 11 that the border was “secure,” admitting, “We also have a broken immigration system and particular[ly] over the last four years before we came in and it needs to be fixed.”
Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz conceded under oath in late July that the southern border was in crisis. Texas Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar said Sept. 9 that the border was not closed, arguing the administration was “not on the same page” when it claimed otherwise.
The White House and CBP did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

The Florida senator criticized the class action lawsuit filed by three Venezuelan migrants Tuesday over the flight to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. Alianza Americas, a Chicago-based network of migrant-led organizations and the migrants — Yanet Doe, Pablo Doe, and Jesus Doe — argued they were used “for the sole purpose of advancing their own personal, financial, and political interests.”
“Think about this, okay? People came into this country illegally, violating our laws and the first thing they do is get lawyers and use our laws to sue an elected governor, to sue a state,” the senator said. “I mean, just think about that. They just got here, they’re not even here legally, they didn’t enter the country the proper way, and they’re immediately in court demanding rights and claims under our laws. This is outrageous. What other country in the world would that even be allowed? What other country in the world would even tolerate that?”
“This is not immigration, what we’re seeing,” he continued. “This is mass migration. That’s a very different thing. But to just think about the fact that somebody just came here illegally and within a week they’re in court and they have lawyers representing them in court suing the American government whose laws they just violated is unbelievable. It’s outrageous. It angers me and it should anger everybody.”
The migrants alleged that accomplices acting on behalf of DeSantis and his administration “manipulated” and “stripped” them of constitutional rights protected under the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments. The accomplices allegedly pretended to be individuals offering the migrants humanitarian assistance.
“Defendants manipulated them, stripped them of their dignity, deprived them of their liberty, bodily autonomy, due process, and equal protection under law, and impermissibly interfered with the Federal Government’s exclusive control over immigration in furtherance of an unlawful goal and a personal political agenda,” the lawsuit stated.
Taryn Fenske, a spokesperson for DeSantis, said in a statement received by the Daily Caller Tuesday that the migrants voluntarily chose to board the two planes chartered to Massachusetts.
“The transportation of the immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard was done on a voluntary basis,” Fenske said. “The immigrants were homeless, hungry, and abandoned – and these activists didn’t care about them then. Florida’s program gave them a fresh start in a sanctuary state and these individuals opted to take advantage of chartered flights to Massachusetts. It was disappointing that Martha’s Vineyard called in the Massachusetts National Guard to bus them away from the island within 48 hours.”
Migrants received brochures informing them of their destination before boarding the flight to Martha’s Vineyard. The packets showed the location and offered a variety of resources on job opportunities and community services areas.

Ron DeSantis joined Fox News’ Sean Hannity during his Monday broadcast to respond to threats of criminal investigations against him for the State of Florida’s transport of 50 illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard on Wednesday. California’s Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom has called on the Biden administration’s Department of Justice to investigate DeSantis, while the Sheriff of Bexar County, Texas, Democrat Javier Salazar has also opened an investigation.
DeSantis was dismissive of the arguments against the move, telling Hannity’s audience, “Give me a break.”

Hannity alluded that they were “put up in hotels, given accommodations. They were fed. They were showered. They were offered haircuts and any of the services that they were needed.”
DeSantis was quick to add, “Yeah. Not only that. They all signed consent forms to go, and then the vendor that, that is doing this for Florida provided them with a packet that had a map of Martha’s Vineyard. It had the numbers for different services on Martha’s Vineyard, and then it had numbers for the overall agencies in Massachusetts that handle things involving immigration and refugees.”
He then cited the availability of jobs and accommodations on the island. “So it was clearly voluntary, and all the other nonsense you’re hearing is just not true. And why wouldn’t they want to go given where they were? They were in really, really bad shape, and they got to be cleaned up, everything treated well, and then put in a situation — because, Sean, there are jobs available in Martha’s Vineyard. According to a new cost analysis by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), providing for the needs of illegal aliens who entered the country under President Biden adds an additional $20.4 billion annual burden on American taxpayers. This figure is in addition to the well over $140 billion a year cost burden taxpayers are already bearing to provide benefits and services for the longer-term illegal alien population.
The Biden administration has willingly released approximately 1.3 million illegal aliens into the country’s interior after removals and Title 42 expulsions are accounted for. Add to this figure approximately 1 million “gotaways” according to FAIR’s sources within U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and it can be safely estimated that approximately 2.3 million illegal aliens successfully entered the country’s interior after President Biden took office.
Based on the most recent comprehensive cost study, FAIR conservatively estimates that each illegal alien costs American taxpayers $9,232 per year.
“Even in an age in which trillion dollar spending packages are considered modest, the additional $20.4 billion the Biden Border Crisis has heaped onto the backs of American taxpayers is still staggering,” noted Dan Stein, president of FAIR. “$20.4 billion could address some very important needs of the American public, instead of covering the costs of the surge of illegal migration triggered by this administration’s policies.”
The $20.4 billion that taxpayers will spend this year, on just the illegal aliens who have entered the country in the last year and half, could cover the cost of:
Providing every homeless veteran in America $50,000 per year for a decade. This would effectively end veteran homelessness.
Giving every family in America earning $50k or less a grocery voucher of roughly $410.
Providing Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits to more than 7 million additional needy families.
Funding and expanding the entire National School Lunch Program.
Hiring more than 315,000 police officers to combat rising crime across the country.
Hiring of 330,000 new teachers, which would easily end the long-standing teacher shortage in America.
Construction of nearly the entire Southern Border Wall (which could prevent millions more illegal aliens from entering).
“According to another new report, 35 percent of U.S. families with a full-time worker struggle to meet their basic needs. These are the people President Biden pledged to champion. You must feel the same, as I haven’t seen ANY coverage of this nearly 2 year humanitarian crisis until just recently in your tabloid.
We need to point out the fact that these semi-fascists (sort of like being a little pregnant), MAGA’s and even the extremely rare Ultra-MAGA’s are at it again—reeking havoc. Well at least that is what Joey Robinette, and his installed administration are saying. Who would ever doubt Ole Joe, the great unifier. Well, our radical right wing friends have a different spin on it altogether. Let’s take a look , but first a little look back at events at the Vineyard.
A Little Vineyard History
It seems Martha’s Vineyard is an exclusive enclave for many of the liberal elite to vacation on. Some even have multimillion dollar estates, like Barack Hussein and his partner Michael—more on that power couple later.
Teddy the Liberal Lion
It seems, Martha’s Vineyard and a tiny island just off it, Chappaquiddick , made headlines back in 1969. It was back then that Kennedy scion, Teddy (the liberal lion), really put the Vineyard on the map. If you recall, a tragic accident occurred that night for which Teddy was minutely involved, simply a tragic accident nothing more, as all liberals recall.
That is not what our friends across the aisle say though, quite the contrary. It seems the married Teddy (devout Catholic), left an alcohol fueled get together with a young single staffer, Mary Jo Kopechne. As Teddy headed to a secluded beach, (probably to finish up some official paperwork), he said he got lost going to the ferry with Mary Jo, even though he had been coming here for years, he then drove off a small bridge into the water. After freeing himself and leaving Mary Jo, he then went back to the party house and after conferring with staffer’s, Ole Teddy was able to swim the channel (some 500 feet) to the mainland and go back to his hotel—while Mary Jo was still in the car, albeit under water.
Well, after only 12 hours (after speaking to lawyers and advisors), the highly moral, devout Catholic Teddy decided to call police and report the accident. He received a slap on the wrist and insurance paid a modest sum to the family…..seems fair, don’t ya think Kahny? I understand that some of these same police now work for the Gestapo, sorry I mean the FBI, and they were assigned to investigate Hunter Biden.
Conservatives say, this incident sets the stage for the latest example of entitled, elitist liberals and the hypocritical double standard that they seem to be afforded. Like the fact that the southern border has basically been wide open since the vegetable was installed in the White House, which has resulted in border states being inundated with illegals. Repeated calls to the White House for a plan or assistance from state representatives have gone unheeded.

They even appointed the outrageously incompetent Heels Up Harris as the Border Czar. Was the plan to have her go there and giggle hysterically, like a village idiot and drive them back to Mexico? Conservatives ask, besides sampling various pastries and traveling the world on the taxpayer dime—what has this word salad, cackling buffoon accomplished as the “Border Czar,” or anything else for that matter?

Well, it seems all that needed to be done was deliver 50 illegals to the playground of the out of touch liberals to get some action. Even you started giving coverage to this over at your tabloid Pravda, Kahny. Bravo champ!

Imagine, an island that houses roughly 20,000 year round and over 100,000 during the summer, is having a “CRISIS,” housing FIFTY of the downtrodden, that they have such compassion for (as long as it is somewhere far away apparently). Sources say celebrities were screaming at their minimum wage help to rip those—“we welcome all” signs off the front lawn, before they would release the hounds on them.

Being queer (LGBTQ+) is a healthy behavior and life choice that must be encouraged, promoted, funded and even mandated.
Taking Covid vaccines is the only right thing to do. Not to get vaxxed is a form of fascism.

PEACE
Since taking office we have seen the world respect for America disappear. Today, under Biden, we have morphed from a peaceful world under President Trump, e.g. the Abraham Accords, into a global war with our sworn enemies: Russia, Iran, China and North Korea.
It all began with the Biden administration’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.
The withdrawal from Afghanistan showed the incompetence and weaknesses in Biden and his administration including Biden’s Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark A. Milley.
In 2017 President Donald J. Trump warned that any hasty withdrawal from Afghanistan would be disastrous. Watch:
Trump made the following key points that upon taking office Biden ignored:
First, our nation must seek an honorable and enduring outcome worthy of the tremendous sacrifices that have been made, especially the sacrifices of lives.
Second, the consequences of a rapid exit are both predictable and unacceptable. 9/11, the worst terrorist attack in our history, was planned and directed from Afghanistan because that country was ruled by a government that gave comfort and shelter to terrorists.
We must address the reality of the world as it exists right now — the threats we face, and the confronting of all of the problems of today, and extremely predictable consequences of a hasty withdrawal.

Some examples of Biden lying and denying on the U.S. economy include:
Saying there is no inflation. Biden in a statement released Thursday, July 28th, 2022 said, “Coming off of last year’s historic economic growth — and regaining all the private sector jobs lost during the pandemic crisis — it’s no surprise that the economy is slowing down as the Federal Reserve acts to bring down inflation.” In 2021 there was no historic economic growth. The Federal Reserve just warned that the economy will get worse, not better.
America’s gross domestic product fell by 0.9% on an annualized basis from April through June 2022 according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis. It is commonly understood that to be in a recession there must be two consecutive quarters of the country’s gross domestic product shrinking. The Business Cycle Dating Committee officially defines when the U.S. economy is in a recession, and they define a recession as involving “a significant decline in economic activity that is spread across the economy and lasts more than a few months.” In other words America is in a recession.
There was a time because of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) of 1996 when every American’s health record was kept secret. The U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention website reads,
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) is a federal law that required the creation of national standards to protect sensitive patient health information from being disclosed without the patient’s consent or knowledge.
Medical information confidentiality was the one thing that doctors and patients could depend upon. HIPPA was designed specifically to insure “nothing” would be shared without the “patient’s consent.”
That consent has now been compromised.
Today there is a new weapon that is being used to destroy doctor patient confidentiality—Electronic Health Records (EHRs).
QUESTION: Why are EHRs a threat to Doctor—Patient Confidentiality?
ANSWER: EHRs are a ball and chain to physicians and patients alike.
The Destruction of Doctor Patient Confidentiality
There are three issues that are key to understand why doctor patient confidentiality is a myth.
Doctors who use EHR are monitored.
Patients don’t know who is looking at their medical records.
Neither a patient nor his or her doctors have any say on protecting confidential medical information.
As Mobius.MD’sRemy Franklin states, “This quickly evolving [EHR] industry is still finding solutions to key challenges like interoperability and security, but the inevitable era of EHRs has arrived.”
Here is one glaring example of what happens today with EHRs. In his Newsletter Steve Kirsch wrote an article titled Why doctors aren’t speaking out. Steve wrote about how we are headed for a perfect storm with escalating health needs and a shortage of doctors because of how we treat them. One doctor wrote to Steve and stated,
Dear Steve,
You ask why doctors are silent. The electronic medical records (EMRs) are a ball and chain to physicians. We are tracked through them. When I wrote a prescription for Ivermectin for a patient, with informed consent (she was vaccinated), I received 5 letters threatening my medical license, my hospital privileges, and my insurance contracts. I would not have received 5 letters if I killed someone in negligence or malpractice. If I have my license pulled, I will no longer be able to help my patients.
I speak to patients on a one-on-one basis, butspeaking out would destroy my family. I have children.
Today, EMRs are being used to attack doctors who don’t comply with political practices of keeping patients from getting the treatments, in this case the use of Ivermectin, to prevent the flu.
Never have we seen doctors, nurses, hospitals so afraid to speak out against government medical mandates.
We went to a pulmonologist recently and all of the office and professional staff and patients were required to wear a mask even though there is study after study reporting that masks don’t work to prevent the spread of the Covid flu. When I asked why, as experts in lung issues, they still required wearing masks they were silent.
Why, because, like the doctor above, they are afraid of standing against the “statist medical-government complex.”
In another troubling sign the Biden administration views distrusting American citizens as dangerous and subversive, the public learned this week the FBI has been reading private Facebook posts, and labeling the writer a domestic terrorist threat, if you questioned the 2020 presidential election. Those comments then earned the Facebook user his or her own investigation by their own disapproving government.
In an exclusive story published this week, The New York Post quotes Department of Justice whistleblowers who describe a 19-month operation in which a Facebook employee secretly sent online messages to the FBI if the author complained about their government – specifically if they questioned if Joe Biden legally defeated Donald Trump. $78 Billion Annual Cost for Limited-English Proficient Students Revealed in New Report by FAIR
Washington, D.C. — A new report by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) finds that one in ten students in our nation’s public schools are considered Limited English Proficient (LEP), requiring an annual expenditure of $78 billion to provide remedial English language instruction. Moreover, the surge of illegal migration instigated by Biden administration policies – including an unprecedented number of unaccompanied alien children (UACs) – is outpacing the nation’s education system’s ability to hire enough teachers qualified to meet the needs of LEP kids.
It’s also worth noting that due to an approximately two year delay in releasing official enrollment and detailed cost data in most states and school districts, the figures in this report are accurate as of the 2020 school year, and do not include education costs incurred by the millions of illegal aliens who have entered the country since President Biden took office. Because of this, the true cost today is almost certainly at least several billion dollars more than the estimates detailed in this report.
“By almost every metric, America’s education system is already failing our kids whose critical skills lag behind those of almost every one of our global competitors,” noted Dan Stein, president of FAIR. “Meanwhile, schools all across the country are being burdened with a surge of new non-English-speaking kids by Biden administration policies that virtually assure admission to UACs and anyone who enters illegally in the company of a minor.”
The report, The Elephant in the Classroom: Mass Immigration Imposing Colossal Cost and Challenges on Public Education, finds that there are currently only 370,000 teachers qualified to deal with the educational needs of LEP students, and that an additional 76,000 instructors will be needed over the next five years just to keep pace with the consequences of the Biden administration’s open border policies. Worse yet – for the children themselves and the future of our nation – only about 4 percent of LEP students are proficient in math by the time they complete 12th grade, and only about 3 percent are English proficient by the time they complete high school.
“As a nation, we are failing to adequately educate the next generation of workers and taxpayers – even those for whom English is their native tongue. At the same time, our immigration policies are adding millions of LEP students, whose academic prospects are even more abysmal. Under the Biden administration, our failing educational system is being asked to cope with our failed immigration policies, which is a recipe for disaster,” concluded Stein.
Among the key findings of The Elephant in the Classroom: Mass Immigration Imposing Colossal Cost and Challenges on Public Education:
5.1 million students in American public schools were classified as LEP in 2020. That figure represents about 10 percent of all K-12 enrollment.
The additional cost to American taxpayer to educate LEP students is $78 billion a year, an increase of $18.8 billion just since 2016. This estimate does not include additional costs, like free or subsidized meals that they may qualify for.
All but 9 states now have more than 10,000 students designated as LEP, and 26 states have more than 50,000 LEP students. California and Texas now exceed 1 million LEP students.
The large influx of new illegal LEP students under the Biden administration amounts to an unfunded federal mandate on state and local governments. As a result of a narrow 1982 Supreme Court decision, all K-12 students must be provided a taxpayer-funded public education.

Your federal Government has made bold steps to take away our guns. Oklahoma, a week ago, passed a law confirming people in this state have the right to bear arms and transport them in their vehicles. That’s a setback for criminals, and The Liberals didn’t like it, BUT… Oklahoma did it anyway.
Just this month, Oklahoma has voted and passed a law that ALL drivers’ license exams will be printed in English, and only English, and no other language. They have been called racist for doing this, but the fact is that ALL of the road signs are in English only. If you want to drive in Oklahoma, you must read and write English. Really simple, folks.

Washington, D.C. — According to a new cost analysis by the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), providing for the needs of illegal aliens who entered the country under President Biden adds an additional $20.4 billion annual burden on American taxpayers. This figure is in addition to the well over $140 billion a year cost burden taxpayers are already bearing to provide benefits and services for the longer-term illegal alien population.
The Biden administration has willingly released approximately 1.3 million illegal aliens into the country’s interior after removals and Title 42 expulsions are accounted for. Add to this figure approximately 1 million “gotaways” according to FAIR’s sources within U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and it can be safely estimated that approximately 2.3 million illegal aliens successfully entered the country’s interior after President Biden took office.
Based on the most recent comprehensive cost study, FAIR conservatively estimates that each illegal alien costs American taxpayers $9,232 per year.
“Even in an age in which trillion dollar spending packages are considered modest, the additional $20.4 billion the Biden Border Crisis has heaped onto the backs of American taxpayers is still staggering,” noted Dan Stein, president of FAIR. “$20.4 billion could address some very important needs of the American public, instead of covering the costs of the surge of illegal migration triggered by this administration’s policies.”
The $20.4 billion that taxpayers will spend this year, on just the illegal aliens who have entered the country in the last year and half, could cover the cost of:
Providing every homeless veteran in America $50,000 per year for a decade. This would effectively end veteran homelessness.
Giving every family in America earning $50k or less a grocery voucher of roughly $410.
Providing Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits to more than 7 million additional needy families.
Funding and expanding the entire National School Lunch Program.
Hiring more than 315,000 police officers to combat rising crime across the country.
Hiring of 330,000 new teachers, which would easily end the long-standing teacher shortage in America.
Construction of nearly the entire Southern Border Wall (which could prevent millions more illegal aliens from entering).
“According to another new report, 35 percent of U.S. families with a full-time worker struggle to meet their basic needs. These are the people President Biden pledged to champion. Instead, he is choosing to divert an additional $20.4 billion away from their needs, in order to fund a radical open borders agenda with no end in sight,” concluded Stein.
