Poll Finds Majority of Surveyed Voters Feel America Is ‘Spiraling Out of Control’

By Family Research Council

Former President Donald Trump scarcely escaped death after Saturday’s assassination attempt, and America is not the same because of it. In fact, following the attack, Reuters/Ipsos conducted a two-day poll to see just how U.S. citizens are faring with the tragic events. It appears they’re not doing all too well.

The poll surveyed 1,202 U.S. adults across the nation, as well as 992 registered voters this week. According to the results, 80% of these voters, including both Democrats and Republicans, fear “the country is spiraling out of … control.” Additionally, “Some 84% of voters in the poll said they were concerned that extremists will commit acts of violence after the election,” which is set to take place November 5.

The poll compared data to that of one they conducted in June of 2023. Last year, 60% of the respondents admitted concern that political beliefs would lead to acts of violence within their communities. This year, that number rose to 67%. Also last year, 12% of those surveyed claimed they feared violence, but that “it was acceptable for someone in their political party to commit violence to achieve a political goal” — a number that fell to 5% in this recent poll.

But perhaps most interesting is that Reuters/Ipsos felt inclined to examine how people viewed the spiritual side of these circumstances. If anything has been made abundantly clear as we process this attempted murder, it’s that many consider it “divine intervention” that the bullet just grazed Trump’s ear rather than ending his life. This is evidenced by the poll, which found 65% of registered Republicans and 11% of registered Democrats believed “Trump’s survival showed he was ‘favored by divine providence or God’s will.’”

As Dr. Albert Mohler and Family Research Council President Tony Perkins discussed earlier this week, there is, indeed, a Christian response to Saturday’s shooting. Mohler, the president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, went on to say that what happened to Trump is truly “an affirmation of the gift of life.” But what he also said, and what may be relevant to these poll results, is that it was “a parable of human sinfulness.” When looking at it this way, maybe, just maybe, it’s not so surprising that people feel the country is “spiraling out of control.”

Thomas Matthew Crooks, the 20-year-old young man who attempted to kill Trump, is an example of the sinful world we live in. In comments to The Washington Stand, David Closson, the director of the Center for Biblical Worldview at FRC, explained, “A deep insight of the biblical worldview is that we live in a fallen world.” As Genesis three teaches, it is “because of man’s rebellion against God, we live in a deeply disordered, sinful, [and] fallen world.” As such, he added, “Whatever the ideology of the shooter on Saturday, desiring to take someone’s life [and] committing an act of violence — that is the fruit of a deeply disordered heart and soul. It’s a result of sin” and “the world that we live in.”

Ultimately, “for Christians trying to process what took place,” Closson argued that there are “two major theological themes that we can see unfolding before us.” First, as previously noted, is that of sin. “The fact that someone thought it was morally permissible to take a gun to a political rally and … shoot a bullet at a candidate that you disagree with … is a parable of a sinful, fallen world.” But more importantly unfolding here, Closson urged, is the theme of God’s providence.

He elaborated, “Christians believe that at all times and at all moments, God is there. Christ is holding the world together and nothing happens without His allowance and being aware of it.” Closson emphasized this is the same God who “knows when a sparrow falls.” And we see His providence in the fact that the “bullet grazed the former president’s head, rather than being a kill shot.” But beyond the picture of God’s grace demonstrated in Trump’s survival, Closson urged that this is an opportunity for Christians to preach the good news of God’s providence over all creation.

“The events of recent years, even including the COVID-19 pandemic, have really brought a lot of people to their knees,” he stated. “It’s the developments that we see around us, whether a national tragedy or just the daily hardships of life, [that] remind us … we are needy people.” And as Christians, we “can look around the broader culture and realize that people are in desperate need of hope. Everybody is looking for hope.”

As Closson argued, “Every worldview, every religion, [and] every philosophy of life attempts to offer an explanation for where we can find hope.” And yet, he continued, “the biblical worldview holds out … the most intellectually satisfying and compelling answer, which is the hope Christianity offers the world is Jesus Christ” and “the gospel that sinful men and women can be reconciled to Holy God through faith and repentance in Jesus Christ.”

And so, he concluded, as the world feels America is swirling into chaos, there is a hope the church has to offer. “Christians have an opportunity, when they look around at their neighbors and friends who are scared, depressed … [and] confused,” to “leverage hardships for gospel opportunity.” For no matter our circumstances, what greater hope is there than Christ Himself?

Cartel Soldiers Invade U.S. Soil

By ACT For America!

Recently, local officials turned whistleblowers have provided Judicial Watch with critical intel on the alarming escalation of activity at our southern border.

As major southern border crossings draw mainstream media attention amidst an unprecedented illegal immigration crisis, remote areas with no Border Patrol presence are becoming entry points for “fighting age males” dressed in military uniforms.

This significant security lapse is underreported, yet local, federal, and state law enforcement have provided Judicial Watch with detailed accounts, diagrams, and photos, highlighting the terrorization of residents in an Arizona town near the Mexican border. They blame the Biden administration’s open border policies for the escalating issues.

Santa Cruz and Pima County regions in southwestern Arizona are experiencing a surge in violence and crime fueled by Mexican cartels involved in drug and human smuggling. Fourth and fifth-generation cattle farmers are finding dead bodies and drug paraphernalia on their properties, alongside thousands of illegal immigrants captured on security cameras since President Biden took office. A veteran law enforcement official reported that violent activity has drastically increased over the past three years, with American citizens in the communities of Amado and Arivaca feeling much less safe compared to the Trump administration era.

Key Issues:

  • Unmanned Border Patrol Checkpoints: An unmanned checkpoint east of Arivaca raises significant security concerns, yet DHS has no plans to deploy agents.
  • Organized Movements: Local and law enforcement sources confirm an influx of young men, likely organized by Mexican cartels, dressed in camouflaged military uniforms and equipped with camouflaged backpacks and carpet booties to hide footprints.
  • Rancher Reports: Ranchers report a tenfold increase in illegal immigrants on their properties, with over 3,560 recorded since Biden became president. Border Patrol presence is scarce due to the overwhelming number of migrants.
  • Environmental Impact: Large piles of discarded carpet booties and plastic waste litter the area and pose hazards to cattle, which often ingest the trash and fall ill or die from traces of drugs left behind by smugglers. Mexican cattle crossing into the U.S. further threaten to introduce diseases to American livestock, posing a risk to the U.S. food industry.
  • Community Impact: The violence and environmental degradation are causing the populations of small towns like Arivaca to dwindle rapidly. From a population of 1,200 a few years ago, only about 600 remain, with many relocating to Green Valley or Tucson. The U.S. Forest Service has ceased monitoring certain areas due to safety concerns.

Law enforcement officials and residents believe the situation will worsen if Biden is reelected. Similar issues are seen in other small towns, such as those in Cochise County, where human and drug traffickers, including U.S. citizens recruited by Mexican cartels, create dangerous conditions by evading the limited Border Patrol force.

When are these militarized cartels going to start formally taking possession of cities and carving out territories as they’ve already done in Mexico, Central America, and most of South America? Reports have already surfaced that Venezuelan gangs are running some cities in Texas.

Organized, uniformed soldiers are marching across our borders! This is the legal definition of an “invasion,” and very dangerous.

All states must declare an invasion and protect their borders. This action is justified by invoking both Article IV, § 4, which mandates the federal government to “protect each [State] against invasion,” and Article I, § 10, Clause 3, which affirms “the States’ sovereign interest in protecting their borders.” In addition, Congress must designate the Cartels as a terrorist organization.

Who Is Usha Vance the wife Of Trump’s VP Pick? She’s the daughter of immigrants with an impressive resume!

By The Daily Caller

Usha Vance, wife to Trump’s pick for vice president, Republican Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance, has a long and impressive resume, which is likely to fall under increased scrutiny as she and her husband surge into the national spotlight.

A child of immigrants, Usha’s parents emigrated from India and settled in San Diego where they raised her, according to ABC News.

She attended Yale for her undergraduate degree and, after earning her Masters at Cambridge, returned to Yale for law school where she met Vance, he recalled in his memoir “Hillbilly Elegy.”

She built upon a prestigious educational CV with an even more impressive career resume.

She clerked for current Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh when he was on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit in 2014-2015 and then for Supreme Court Justice John Roberts from 2017-2018, according to ABC News.

Following her clerkship for Roberts, she returned to her previous firm, Munger, Tolles & Olson, to serve as a trial lawyer, according to her LinkedIn. She left the firm shortly after Trump announced Vance as his running mate.

“Usha has informed us she has decided to leave the firm,” a Munger, Tolles & Olson spokesperson told Bloomberg Law. “Usha has been an excellent lawyer and colleague, and we thank her for her years of work and wish her the best in her future career.”

In his book, Vance describes Usha as being one of the most blunt people he’s ever met. She had “an extraordinarily direct way of speaking,” he wrote in “Hillbilly Elegy.”

“Where others might have asked meekly, ‘Yeah, maybe you could rephrase this?’ or “Have you thought about this other idea?’ Usha would say simply: ‘I think this sentence needs work’ or ‘This is a pretty terrible argument.’ At a bar, she looked up at a mutual friend of ours and said, without a hint of irony, ‘You have a very small head.’ I had never met anyone like her,” he wrote.

The pair have three children together. Vance credits her as his “spirit guide” in his book. Besides her lengthy list of professional accomplishments, she also served on the board of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, according to LinkedIn.

Thousands of Unaccompanied Immigrant Children Now Victims of ‘Taxpayer-Funded Child Slavery’

By Family Research Council

Data collected between February of 2021 and January of 2024 revealed “464,922 [unaccompanied] children have been encountered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection police nationwide.” Some experts, such as those from the child immigrant aid organization Kids in Need of Defense, have explained this surplus of unaccompanied minors was “expected” and likely due to “U.S. measures implemented at the border during the coronavirus pandemic.” But what is shocking, experts have gone on to point out, is how the whereabouts of thousands of these children are unknown, with the biggest concern being that many are becoming victims of human trafficking.

These concerns flooded the mainstream media as whistleblowers testified in a roundtable discussion on Tuesday. The accusation laid forth is that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Department of Labor are guilty “of covering up how the government and contracted companies have failed to properly care for 500,000 parentless immigrant children in government custody at the border,” the Washington Examiner reported.

Acknowledging the outcry, HHS Secretary Xavier Bacerra said, “No child has gone missing under our watch.” But Allison Dyer pointed out on X that not only is Bacerra’s statement false, but she used information collected by a New York Times report to highlight that “85,000 unaccompanied children released to sponsors in the United States by our government are unable to be accounted for,” meaning “their whereabouts or welfare are unknown.”

Emphasizing a point similar to Dyer, Senator Bill Cassidy (R-La.), who also serves on the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, argued that the claims that these children are not unaccounted for shows a “blatant lack of transparency with the American people.” He added, “Frankly, it is hard to see this as anything other than an effort to cover up and shield the Biden administration from scrutiny for its mistreatment and mishandling of unaccompanied children, particularly in an election year where the president is behind in the polls.”

HHS whistleblower Deborah White described the circumstances as “taxpayer-funded child slavery,” and she noted that part of what led to this was the government “prioritizing speed over safety.” As a result, she stated, children are being sent to abandoned houses, unsafe homes, and even one case in which “a child was sent to an open field,” which only further proves the lack of integrity of the system. White said that even after several concerns were raised, nothing was done to stop children from being sent to dangerous locations.

“[I]t’s unbelievable that we’re … talking about government-sponsored, taxpayer funded child trafficking,” said Tara Rodas on Thursday’s episode of “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins.” Rodas, who formerly worked for the Department of Health and Human Services and testified on Tuesday, explained how she and some of her “colleagues began reporting trafficking cases in June of 2021.” She sighed, “So, if you can imagine, it’s been more than three years” since those first reports.

Rodas emphasized how their efforts were received better “in the beginning, and [we] thought they were going to do something about it.” However, over time, they were threatened and warned from “coming forward to speak the truth.” And “this is not just one incident,” Family Research Council President Tony Perkins pointed out, further noting that she “began to see … patterns.”

Rodas explained that what it boils down to is a system that is not organized or monitored well. “So,” she continued, “you can imagine how easily a system like that is exploited.” The process, she described, is that children are brought across the southern border “from Guatemala, El Salvador, all over Central and South America with smugglers.” Then, “the smugglers give them the name and address to where they’re going, the children turn that into Border Patrol, Border patrol turns it over to us at HHS, and then we send the child to that person. It’s really end-to-end delivery.”

And the issue with this, as Perkins noted, is that there’s “no verification of relationship, family connection or anything” to ensure these children end up in a safe place. Again, he contended, “[T]his is being funded by tax dollars. I mean, we’re bringing these children to this country and allowing them to be exploited. This is … horrific.”

In many cases, Rodas explained that what leads children to these horrible homes is the fact that “there is no ultimate verification because” the government “did not even verify if the person was a legal permanent resident.” But ultimately, she insisted, no sensible “child welfare organization around the globe would send a child to an unknown person. … That doesn’t even make sense. And yet, that’s what the government is doing.” However, Rodas concluded that sitting idle is not an option. “There are children in crisis now, and we need to rescue” them.

Trump Leads In Key Swing State Where Many Voters Say Immigration Made Life ‘Worse,’ Poll Finds

By The Daily Caller

Former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden in Wisconsin, where many voters claimed immigration made the state’s quality of life “worse,” according to an American Greatness poll exclusively released to the Daily Caller News Foundation on Thursday.

Trump leads Biden 46% to 44% in a two-way race, compared to an even split at 45% in April, according to the poll. Only 13% of likely voters said that immigration has improved the “quality of life in the state,” while 34% said it made it worse.

“Wisconsin figures to be a very tight race once again, as reflected by this new polling,” Steve Cortes, former senior advisor to President Trump and polling consultant to American Greatness, told the DCNF. “In such a close election, the more we highlight the damage of Biden’s open border, the more likely battleground state voters are to return Donald Trump to the White House.”

Wisconsin has voted for the Democratic presidential nominee every year since 1988, except for in 2016 when it went for Trump.

In addition, 45% of respondents claimed that immigration had “no real effect” on the state’s quality of life and 8% were unsure, according to the poll.

Whitewater, a town in Wisconsin that has 15,000 residents, has taken in as many as 1,000 immigrants since 2022, PBS reported. Among the respondents, 53% said that immigration levels are “too high” for a community that size, while 29% said it was “about right” and 4% said it was “too low.”

“Even thousands of miles away from the US border, Biden’s reckless, radical border policies are firmly rejected by supermajorities of citizens,” Cortes told the DCNF. “Sensible Wisconsin voters know that Biden and Harris and Mayorkas prioritize unvetted foreign migrants over American citizens, and they demand a return to law-and-order.”

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has encountered over seven million migrants entering the country illegally since Biden took office, according to the CBP data.

Biden issued nearly 300 executive actions on immigration during his first year in office, 89 of which reversed or began to reverse Trump’s immigration policies, according to an analysis from the Migration Policy Institute.

The poll also asked likely voters about Biden’s mental and physical fitness for office, with 65% saying Biden is not capable of serving another term, compared to 57% in April. Nearly half of Wisconsin likely voters, 48%, think Biden is making his own official decisions in office, while 31% think it is First Lady Jill Biden. (RELATED: WSJ And NYT Polls Are Latest In String Of Surveys Showing Biden Losing Ground To Trump After Debate)

The American Greatness poll surveyed 600 likely Wisconsin voters from July 6 to July 10. The poll has a margin of error of 4%.

The Shrinking United States: Demographic Collapse Cloaked by Mass Migration

By MercatorNet – Navigating Modern Complexities

Today’s West is a world of social dysfunction and demographic collapse, with warmongers and woke commissars in charge. Where moral relativism rules, those of us abiding by traditional values are cultural warriors by default. Our very lifestyle is an expression of dissent. The regime, steeped in secular globalism, frowns upon us. How dare we value family over enlightened, empirical economic man!

In our media-obsessed popular culture, it is images and soundbites that sway the public. Enter Tucker Carlson.

Truth-teller Tucker

Years ago, when Tucker Carlson first came to my attention, I casually assumed that he was just another Buckleyite National Review stuffed shirt, replete with bow tie and elitist east-coast affect. Guess it was his NR affiliation that led me to pigeonhole him. When I worked in the imperial capital, conservative blowhards would come and go like Greyhound buses. Here’s a heartfelt mea culpa. Tucker has emerged as today’s most effective spokesman for traditional values.

His recent Down Under tour included a tour de force appearance at the Canberra Hyatt. During the after-speech Q&A, he annihilated an antagonistic query from a saucy, self-important “journalist”. The would-be “gotcha” interrogator was Kat Wong of AAP Newswire. She tried to frame Carlson as “racist.” Nothing new there. Anyone who advocates traditional values these days gets the R smear sooner or later. Comes with the territory.

Even conscientious (though media-conditioned) conservative Christians will fall all over themselves sniffing out racist “dog-whistles,” “hate”, and “hurtful” content. Such self-righteous self-policing is a cowed and controlled opposition doing the cultural left’s work for them. Think of that the next time you hear someone begin a sentence with “I’m not a racist, but…”

What is the definition of a racist? Someone who is winning an argument with a leftist. I digress.

Ms Wong falsely alleged that Tucker had been carping about American Whites being replaced. “Great replacement” and “conspiracy theory” are phrases weaponised by the chattering class to tamp down dissent. Tucker was having none of it.

In reply, he nailed it about the challenge to American families. A too-clever-by-half reporter trying to score a PC putdown isn’t the story here. The takeaway was in Carlson’s response, where he succinctly summed up the critical challenge facing Americans, which is that we are not replacing ourselves:

Native-born Americans are being replaced, including Blacks…

My concern is that the people who are born in a country are the main responsibility of its leaders. And as noted earlier, when those leaders shift their concern from the people whose responsibility it is to take care of, to people around the world, to put their priorities above those of their own citizens, that’s immoral.

That’s globalism.

And they are being replaced in my country, people who were born in the United States; and the birthrate tells the whole story. They are not at replacement rate. And so the US population is growing because we’re importing people from other countries.

My view is that happy people have children, and a functioning economy allows them to do that. And we don’t have that so we need to fix the economy and fix the culture and make it so that people who want to have kids can. You don’t just go for the quick sugar fix of importing new people; like that’s my position, and if you think that’s racist then that’s your problem.

My views derive from a deep concern for Americans, actually. Americans aren’t having kids because they can’t afford to, and nobody in charge cares.

Bravo to Tucker, teller of truth!

Identify the problem

Indeed, native-born Americans, whatever their race, creed, colour, etc., are not replacing themselves, thus they are being replaced. Tucker is worth repeating:

[H]appy people have children, and a functioning economy allows them to do that. And we don’t have that, so we need to fix the economy and fix the culture and make it so that people who want to have kids can.

That is exactly what needs to be done. It is a very tall order.

To fix the culture and the economy, we need to overthrow the globalist ethos of profit before people. Corporations ruthlessly move employees around, uprooting them from family and community. Shareholder value is prioritised above providing a living wage. There is money aplenty, but it goes to upper-echelon pay packages and stock buybacks, while frontline workers are treated like equipment with minimum maintenance and scheduled obsolescence. Consumerism and careerism are lionised, while stay-at-home moms are ridiculed.

Special interest lobbies and venal politicians have melded the corporate and government sectors, fostering crony capitalism (as opposed to free enterprise capitalism) infused with woke secularism. Ever wonder why corporations shove DEI “human resources” workshops down our throats and sponsor “drag” events? What about having seminars and workshops on pre-natal counselling, child-rearing, and workplace daycare?

Values and priorities

Rather than doing something about demographic collapse, it is easier to simply import new people. That brings sweeping demographic change: cheap labour for powerful corporate interests, a growing customer base for Big Pharma and others, an expanding clientele for the welfare/social services industry, and millions of new voters for the leftist agenda.

What’s not to like? You get extra people by packing the place with imports and needn’t do anything to improve conditions for the native-born. Too expensive to have children? Just import more people and sell it to the public as “diversity is our strength.” Tar anyone who doesn’t agree as “racist”, “nativist”, “xenophobe”, etc.

In the 1980s blockbuster movie Wall Street, the protagonist was Gordon Gekko, modelled on America’s high-flying, paper-spinning, outsourcing moguls:

The point is, ladies and gentlemen, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right; greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit.

This gargantuan social engineering scheme scam, aka open borders, is greed incarnate. It has brought a demographic metamorphosis of the American population. Social cohesion is gone. Family life suffers. It makes a lot of money for some but doesn’t help the rest of us. Maybe subsidising families would work better than subsidising mass immigration.

Our world is in the throes of demographic collapse and on the cusp of global war. It is high time that each of us, in ways small and large, make ourselves heard. None of us are getting any younger. Speak up.

What do you make of the demographic challenges facing America? Leave a comment below.

ELECTION INTERFERENCE: Biden’s DOJ Says It Will Intervene in Georgia Election Lawsuit to Ensure Election Integrity

By The Geller Report

The Democrats are hellbent on corrupt, rigged elections.

The Justice Department confirmed that it will intervene in a lawsuit targeting an 11-day deadline to register for mail-in ballots in Georgia.

By Jack Phillips, The Epoch Times, July 9, 2024:

The Department of Justice (DOJ) confirmed on July 8 that it will intervene in a lawsuit that challenges a Georgia state deadline for absentee ballot applications and whether it is illegal under the Voting Rights Act.

In 2023, a group of theater workers challenged a provision of Georgia state law SB 202, which was passed in 2021 and requires a voter to apply for an absentee ballot 11 days before a presidential election. Their lawsuit argues that Section 202 of the Voting Rights Act mandates that voters be able to cast ballots in presidential elections if they applied seven days before an election, arguing that the Georgia law violates federal law, and requests that a court block the law’s enforcement.

The DOJ’s filing on July 8 did not make any arguments. It was a notice that it would make a filing that “exercises its right to intervene in this proceeding to defend the constitutionality of Section 202 of the Voting Rights Act,” noting that it would “submit a brief regarding the constitutionality and interpretation of Section 202” by July 22.

Earlier this year, the DOJ filed a statement expressing interest in the lawsuit that challenges the state’s 11-day application deadline and “has a substantial interest in ensuring Section 202’s proper interpretation.” The agency also argued that private parties are able to file lawsuits to enforce the section of the Voting Rights Act, which provides a “general remedy for private plaintiffs to redress violations of federal rights committed by state actors.”

Republican state officials have defended the 11-day cutoff deadline, arguing that the group of theater workers lacks the right to sue under the Voting Rights Act.

Mr. Carr said in late 2023 that the theater workers have not “come close to satisfying its burden of establishing standing.”

They instead rely “only on threadbare allegations of injury that are insufficient even at this stage,” his office wrote. “The court should … dismiss the amended complaint because Plaintiff has no private right of action under the [Voting Rights Act].”

The Republican National Committee and the Georgia Republican Party also submitted court filings in the case, arguing that the deadline rules in question should be upheld and that the plaintiffs’ case should be dismissed.

In a separate challenge to the 2021 Georgia law, a federal judge in 2023 ruled against the DOJ and voting rights groups after they claimed that the Republican-backed law intentionally discriminates against black voters by issuing new rules on providing identification for mail-in voting, restricting drop boxes, shortening the absentee ballot request, and other provisions.

Earlier this year, Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp signed legislation—SB 189—that made new changes to Georgia’s voting laws, including defining “probable causes” for removing voters from the rolls when their eligibility is challenged.

The measure lists death, evidence of voting or registering in another jurisdiction, a tax exemption indicating a primary residence elsewhere, or a nonresidential address as probable causes for removing voters from the rolls. It also states that the National Change of Address list can be considered, although not exclusively.

Packs of “Fighting Age Males” in Military Uniforms Entering U.S. through Remote Arizona Town

By Judicial Watch

As the nation’s largest southern border crossings finally receive mainstream media coverage years into an unprecedented illegal immigration crisis, untold numbers of “fighting age males” dressed in military uniforms are entering the United States through remote areas with no Border Patrol presence. It is a palpable security lapse unlikely to be reported by most news outlets and local, federal, and state law enforcement sources have provided Judicial Watch with detailed accounts, reports, diagrams, and photos of the situation which is terrorizing residents in a once harmonious Arizona town just a few miles from Mexico. They blame the Biden administration’s catastrophic open border policies for the serious problems that have gripped the area in the last few years.

The Santa Cruz and Pima County regions in southwestern Arizona have been slammed with extraordinary violence and crime fueled by Mexican cartels—smuggling drugs and humans—that are victimizing fourth and fifth-generation cattle farmers who have captured thousands of illegal immigrants on security cameras passing through their property since Joe Biden became president. Sometimes they find dead bodies and drug paraphernalia. “Violent activity has drastically increased over the past three years since the border is now perceived to be wide open,” a veteran law enforcement official told Judicial Watch this week, adding that in the communities of Amado and Arivaca American citizens feel much less safe than they did when Donald Trump was president. Both are cattle ranching towns with small populations that are diminishing because of the increased violence. Amado is nestled in the Santa Cruz River Valley about 29 miles from the Mexican border. Arivaca is situated southwest of Amado about 11 miles from Nogales, Mexico.

An unmanned Border Patrol checkpoint east of Arivaca worries residents deeply, but the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has no intention of deploying agents, according to multiple sources. In the meantime, law enforcement officials and residents confirm that young men are pouring in through the region in what appears to be an organized movement operated by Mexican cartels. “They are unemployed, the majority are fighting age males and there is a strong possibility some have undergone some level of insurgency training,” according to a law enforcement source familiar with the situation. The groups of men are usually dressed in “camouflage military uniforms, indicating a robust and well-funded supply network to ensure everyone is outfitted the same,” said an intelligence officer with extensive U.S. military training who provided Judicial Watch with pictures and graphs of recent crossings. The uniformed men also carry camouflaged backpacks and wear carpet booties to hide footprint tracks. Large piles of the disposed carpet booties litter ranches on the U.S. side, creating a hazard for cattle that consume the trash.

One longtime area rancher said that since Biden became president, he has recorded over 3,560 illegal immigrants on security cameras on his property, a tenfold increase from the previous administration. Another said he has not seen a Border Patrol agent for quite a while, likely because the frontline Homeland Security agency is overwhelmed with the onslaught of migrants in the last few years. “They have recommended we not travel to certain areas of our ranch, and we never go out there at night,” said the rancher, who does not want his name used out of fear for the safety of his family. Locals say the violence is causing the already small population of Arivaca to dwindle quickly. A few years ago, the town had 1,200 residents and now there are approximately 600. Authorities say those who leave are mostly relocating north to Green Valley, about 35 miles away, or Tucson which is around 60 miles away. The area has become so dangerous that the U.S. Forest Service told a rancher it would no longer travel there to monitor enclosure areas established to oversee endangered species.

The continuous stream of trash and human waste left behind by the staggering flow of migrants and smugglers has also devastated the local environment and livestock. Besides large piles of discarded carpet booties, mounds of plastic waste are having a detrimental effect on cattle because they eat it and become ill, ranchers said. Many also die after ingesting traces of drugs found in wrappings left behind by smugglers. To help illustrate how porous the border is in this region, one rancher said Mexican cattle regularly cruise into the U.S. side, creating a major risk of introducing illnesses to American cattle that, although inoculated, may be vulnerable to new strains and diseases that may prevail south of the border. “We removed 120 Mexican cattle over the past six months,” said a veteran rancher, who explained that it is a lot of extra work to keep the foreign livestock from mingling with local cattle to prevent unsafe beef being distributed throughout the U.S. food industry.

If Biden gets reelected the situation will likely worsen, say law enforcement officials and residents in the remote Arizona region. Other small towns are also suffering from the impact of this administration’s flagrant open border policies. Just a few months ago Judicial Watch wrote about another once tranquil border region that has been devastated by illegal immigration and drug smuggling. It is situated in Cochise County to the east of Amado and Arivaca in the picturesque Sonoran Desert surrounded by the scenic Huachuca Mountains. Human and drug traffickers regularly evade a meager force of Border Patrol agents in the mountainous region and local law enforcement officials say the addition of the new “American smuggler,” U.S. citizens, predominantly young adults from Phoenix and Tucson recruited by Mexican cartels through social media, has created deadly consequences in the communities where the American recruits often travel at dangerously high speeds through local roads and highways.

House Passes Bill Aiming To Keep Illegal Immigrants From Voting

By The Daily Caller

The House passed a bill on Wednesday that requires proof of U.S. citizenship for voter registration.

The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act is an amendment to the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 that requires proof of citizenship “to register an individual to vote in elections for Federal office,” according to the bill text. The bill, which was introduced by Republican Rep. Chip Roy of Texas, passed the House 221-198.

Five Democrats joined with Republicans to pass the bill.

“We will only be able to keep this republic as a republic as long as our citizenship as Americans remains meaningful,” Roy said in a press release following the bill’s passage. “That’s why I introduced the SAVE Act in the first place, and it’s why the People’s House passed it today.”

The bill establishes criminal penalties for election officials who register voters without enforcing the requirement to provide proof of U.S. citizenship. Additionally, the bill requires noncitizens to be removed from official lists of eligible voters.

The Biden Administration released a statement in opposition to the bill on Monday, claiming that states “already have effective safeguards in place to verify voter’s eligibility and maintain accuracy of voter rolls.”

“This bill would do nothing to safeguard our elections, but it would make it much harder for all eligible Americans to register to vote and increase the risk that eligible voters are purged from voter rolls,” the White House said. “The evidence is clear that the current laws to prevent noncitizen voting are working as intended — it is extraordinarily rare for noncitizens to break the law by voting in Federal elections.”

Speaker Mike Johnson said on Tuesday that Democrats are trying to “mislead” Americans about election integrity efforts because “they want illegals to vote in our elections.”

“They’re claiming to oppose the bill because they say it’s going to make it harder to vote,” Johnson said during a press conference. “But they know that that is not true. Many of the Democrats want all of these illegals to participate in our federal elections. They want them to vote. There’s no other conclusion that you could draw. When the White House announced that they would veto the bill they effectively handed our elections over to all of these illegal aliens that have come here.”

California Rep. Jennifer McClellan said on Wednesday that the bill is “the 2024 version of the Jim Cow poll tax.”

“Let me be clear, they don’t want you to vote. ” Democratic Rep. Summer Lee of Pennsylvania said during a floor speech. “They don’t want to hear black voices, brown voices, LGBTQIA voices, young voices. Our fundamental access to our democracy is being politicized. And this xenophobic attack that we are debating today will make it harder for Americans to vote.”

The bill was cosponsored by over 100 Republican lawmakers including House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York, Rep. Byron Donalds of Florida, Rep. Tim Burchett of Tennessee and Rep. Anna Paulina Luna of Florida.

‘Clear and Real Threat’: Johnson Backs SAVE Act to End Non-Citizens Voting in U.S. Elections

By Family Research Council

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives will vote on a bill to reverse “the ease with which illegal aliens can register and vote in our elections, including in every single swing state,” said Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-La.) on a video conference call attended by The Washington Stand.

The House will vote on the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which requires states to verify that only U.S. citizens can register or vote in U.S. elections. The bill requires applicants to show proof of citizenship and grants states access to federal databases that can verify citizenship. It also orders the Department of Homeland Security to determine whether to initiate removal proceedings if a non-citizen unlawfully attempts to register to vote.

The bill attempts to fix a problem created by the 1993 National Voter Registration Act (NVRA), often dubbed the “Motor-Voter Law.” The bill, signed into law by President Bill Clinton, requires officials to offer to register those who apply for a driver’s license. While federal law says only U.S. citizens should register, a 2013 Supreme Court opinion held that “the NVRA forbids [s]tates to demand that an applicant submit additional information beyond that required by the [f]ederal [f]orm.”

The form asks applicants to swear on penalty of perjury that they are U.S. citizens — but requires no proof whatsoever.

“In effect, this law, the NVRA, requires states to use the honors system,” Florida Secretary of State Cord Byrd (R) told TWS. “There’s no mechanism to ensure that only those registering or voting are citizens,” Speaker Johnson told The Washington Stand. With the SAVE Act, “we can assure American citizens that their vote isn’t going to be canceled out by a non-citizen,” said Byrd.

“The purpose here was basically to mirror the existing language in the NVRA,” said the bill’s sponsor, Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas), in response to a question asked by TWS, the only question asked during the video call. “We’re just literally amending existing law” to underline and facilitate the states’ responsibility to safeguard election integrity.

Speaker Johnson released a 22-page report late last month documenting the reality of non-citizens registering to vote, and actually voting, in U.S. elections, “As of May 2023, Virginia Department of Elections officials have removed 1,481 registrations,” said the report, and 23% had cast a ballot.

Non-citizens already legally vote in several areas nationwide. “A number of localities are blurring the lines of citizenship by allowing non-citizens to vote in local elections,” said Johnson. Cities and municipalities that allow non-citizens to vote legally include:

  • Oakland, California
  • San Francisco, California
  • Washington, D.C.
  • Burlington, Vermont
  • Montpelier, Vermont
  • Barnesville, Maryland
  • Cheverly, Maryland
  • Chevy Chase (Section 3), Maryland
  • Garrett Park, Maryland
  • Glen Echo, Maryland
  • Hyattsville, Maryland
  • Martin’s Additions, Maryland
  • Mount Rainier, Maryland
  • Riverdale Park, Maryland
  • Somerset, Maryland
  • Takoma Park, Maryland
  • Winooski, Vermont

“We are extremely grateful that the speaker of the House has taken it on himself to push this bill and say this is a significant problem,” said Election Integrity Network founder and Only Citizens Vote Coalition co-founder Cleta Mitchell, which hosted the call.

Speaker Johnson called the issue of non-citizens voting in the United States “a very clear and real threat” to U.S. election integrity. “We know that President Biden and his policies have invited more than 8.6 million illegals into the United States in three years. In fact, I’ve been on the record saying I think the number is more than 16 million.” When Border Patrol agents add in “gotaways,” they safely estimate a total of 10 million illegal border crossings during the Biden administration — more than the population of 41 states. To make matters worse, Johnson told TWS that Border Patrol agents revealed they are not permitted to count all gotaways, unless they “have clear sight and vision of them” fleeing into U.S. territory.

Yale University researchers estimated the total number of illegal immigrants in the U.S. at 16 to 29 million, in 2016.

“Democrats have said they want to make non-citizens voters. We have them on tape,” Johnson told TWS. Democrats, including Democratic socialist organizers, have long described amnesty for the illegal immigrants as the best mechanism to “create a governing coalition for the long-term.”

“The reason why they’ve got that wide-open border is so they can get as many illegals in here and get them to vote, so they can dominate the American vote,” Rep. Mike Ezell (R-Miss.) told “Washington Watch” guest host Jody Hice on Tuesday. “They want to dominate the House, the Senate and the White House. They want to get elected by any means necessary,” even “going against the rules,” Ezell told Hice.

After such an influx of lawless immigration, coupled with indifference to the citizenship of voter applicants, “among the other remedial measures we have to take, [the SAVE Act] is the most obvious one,” Johnson told TWS.

“Election integrity is a cornerstone to this country,” Ezell told Hice.

The bill enjoys strong support nationwide. A recent poll commissioned by Tea Party Patriots found 87% of all Americans, including more than three-quarters of Democrats, believe people should show proof of U.S. citizenship before registering to vote. Similarly, a bipartisan coalition of more than 500 state elected officials have signed a letter from the State Freedom Caucus supporting the SAVE Act.

Florida Secretary of State Cord Byrd (R) noted that in 2020, Florida amended its state constitution to say only a citizen can be eligible to vote with 80% support. “We can’t get 80% to agree if it’s night or day,” Byrd told TWS. “It has broad bipartisan support.”

Yet the Biden administration announced on Monday that the administration “strongly opposes” the bill, because “it is extraordinarily rare for noncitizens to break the law by voting in [f]ederal elections.”

“It is already illegal for noncitizens to vote in [f]ederal elections — it is a [f]ederal crime punishable by prison and fines. The alleged justification for this bill is based on easily disproven falsehoods,” Biden asserted. “Additionally, making a false claim of citizenship or unlawfully voting in an election is punishable by removal from the United States and a permanent bar to admission,” said Biden, who effectively ended deportations early in his term.

Biden’s statement implied he would refuse to take any action related to the border until the House Republicans submit to his agenda. “If House Republicans really want to do something about securing our border and fixing our broken immigration system, they should vote on the border deal that the [p]resident negotiated,” which would facilitate the entry of millions of non-citizens into the United States but do little to provide border security.

Biden and his fellow Democrats oppose the SAVE Act and “want to try to kill it, because they don’t believe in American sovereignty,” Roy told TWS.

Some members of the House seem “bent on destroying this country,” Ezell said. “As long as I’m breathing, I’m … going to continue to stand for the American people and do what’s right in the eyes of God. That’s my stand.”

Sorry RINOs: GOP’s new platform is pure Trump!

By Cherie Zaslawsky

In the midst of our almost daily dose of bad news, it’s heartening when some sunshine breaks through the dark clouds. Leave it to Wayne Allyn Root to broadcast the good news!

In his recent commentary, Wayne points out that Trump just trumped both the Country Club Republicans, (a.k.a. Republicans in Name Only/RINOs) and the Dems, by coming up with such a solid, common sense platform that rivals or surpasses Newt Gingrich’s “Contract with America.”

The platform includes a combination of goals that Trump accomplished during his term in office, such as making the U.S. energy independent again (Drill baby, drill!), and cutting inflation (arguably more difficult to achieve this time ‘round due to O’Biden’s profligate spending), cutting taxes, securing the border, and more.

Some important new planks:

  • Deport tens of millions of these foreign invaders, rapists, murderers, terrorists and welfare addicts out of America.
  • Kill regulations strangling our economy— like electric car mandates.
  • Cut federal funding for any school, college or institution that brainwashes students with CRT, DEI, and transgender ideology.
  • Secure our elections with Voter ID and proof of citizenship.
  • Deport pro-Hamas protestors on college campuses who preach violence, hate Jews, and chant “death to America.”

Wayne dares the Dems to argue against the 20 Planks in this Platform:

“Please say loudly and proudly that you support open borders, keeping illegal invader criminals in the country, more massive spending and debt, higher inflation, raising energy prices, letting violent criminals out of prison, protecting pro-Hamas protestors, and starting WW3.” Etc.

More good news: Trump is opposed to Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC)! See Forbes article on this here.

And read more of Wayne’s optimistic and inspiring take on Trump and the RNC playing to win! Here’s the link.

RIGGING 2024: Biden to VETO Bill Preventing Non-Citizens from Voting After He Flooded the Country with 10 Million Illegals

By The Geller Report

“It should alarm every American citizen that the sitting President of the United States, who has opened our border to over 9 million illegals, just announced that he would veto our bill to prevent noncitizens from voting.” — Speaker Mike Johnson

Biden and his regime oppose the “SAVE ACT“, which requires proof of U.S. citizenship to vote.

This was the treasonous plan all along.

This is Biden and the Democrats’ only path to reelection at this point.

After spending the last three years flooding the country with millions of illegals, the Biden admin just came out against the SAVE Act, which would require documentary proof of United States citizenship in order to vote in American elections. pic.twitter.com/DwmGESO8w0

As Border Crisis Continues, Trump Puts Illegal Immigration at the Top of RNC’s New Platform

By Family Research Council

It doesn’t take much to see how the border crisis has grown preposterously out of control. Considering this, perhaps it’s not so surprising that sealing the border and commencing a mass deportation are the top two priorities of former President Donald Trump’s new platform.

The truth is, Americans are crying out for a secure border. Millions of illegal immigrants have invaded the country. They’re occupying hotels, schools, and airports and causing billions of U.S. dollars to go down the drain. According to data accumulated by the National Immigration Center for Enforcement, roughly 17 million illegal immigrants currently reside in America — two-thirds of which came in during President Joe Biden’s administration alone. Directly due to this open border, there have been countless consequences. Among them is one arguably more prominent and dangerous than the rest: That is, rampant crime.

Just last week, 12 “criminal illegal immigrants” from Texas’s list of “most-wanted fugitives” were arrested. Some of the crimes committed by these felons include “human smuggling, commercial sex trafficking, evading arrests, indecency with a child, driving while intoxicated, sexual assault, assault causing bodily injury, deadly conduct by discharging a firearm at a person, indecency with a child by sexual contact, burglary of a residence, and aggravated sexual assault of a child.” Good luck getting through that list in one breath. And sadly, these crimes were related to only a handful of illegal immigrants who were recently arrested in Texas — it hardly accounts for the total damage occurring throughout the rest of the country.

Innocent Americans such as 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray and 22-year-old Laken Riley are now dead due to murderous illegal immigrants. Public schools and health care systems have been corrupted by illegal immigration. The U.S. is facing an incomprehensively high threat level for terrorist attacks. Not to mention, by 2026, some have estimated “the annual net cost will exceed $200 billion” in relation to illegal immigration. As Federation for American Immigration Reform President Dan Stein said in a statement, “[T]he fiscal and social burdens of the Biden administration’s sabotage of our immigration enforcement policies are unsustainable.”

Biden has created a system where taxpayer dollars are fueling a demographic of criminals who are actively wrecking this country. Reportedly, only 1.34% of the millions of illegal immigrants are in Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention or watched by the Intensive Supervision Appearance Program. The remaining roughly 99%, which includes murderers and terrorists, are “living freely across American communities.” The president responsible for allowing these illegal immigrants to destroy lives and roam free is the same president allowing innocent Americans to be locked up for supporting the lives of unborn babies.

In addition, concerns continue to rise surrounding the 2024 presidential election as these illegal immigrants “living freely” in the U.S. are also preparing to vote freely in U.S. elections. In May, TWS reported on a study that revealed “roughly 10 to 27% of non-citizens living in the U.S. are illicitly registered to vote, which could result in up to 2.7 million illegal votes being cast in the November election.” One would think a unified effort would start to stop this attack on election integrity, and yet, it appears the opposite is true. A unified effort has been launched, but it is one that only adds fire to the flame of these irrational circumstances.

If passed, the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, also referred to as the SAVE Act, would require “individuals to provide documentary proof of U.S. citizenship in order to register to vote in federal elections.” As House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) emphasized, this bill is meant to “safeguard our elections by ensuring only American citizens vote in federal elections.” This bill, however, is one the Democratic leadership in the House have “urged” their fellow members to vote against.

In a “whip question,” House Minority Whip Katherine Clark (D-Mass.), wrote, “As we’ve seen a number of times this Congress, House Republicans continue to irresponsibly call into question the credibility of our elections.” She went on to say that “there has been zero evidence of the widespread fraud that this bill purports to target,” and concluded her “whip question” with the notion that “Democrats are urged to VOTE NO on H.R. 8281.” It’s stunning to see how few Democratic lawmakers seem to care about the havoc illegal immigration is causing in America. Even tech billionaire Elon Musk wrote of the SAVE Act “Those who oppose this are traitors.”

Really, it doesn’t take much to see the conundrum our country sits in presently. Americans want a secure border, fair elections, and taxes spent responsibly. Families want to feel safe in their own neighborhoods. It’s not surprising that out of his 20 primary principles, Trump has placed illegal immigration at the very top. These circumstances are not sustainable, and for those who refuse to admit that, it’s time to wake up.

New York City Hotels Score Big With Taxpayer-Funded Migrant Shelter Deals: REPORT

By The Daily Caller

New York City taxpayers are reportedly set to pay out over $1 billion to house illegal immigrants and asylum seekers who have crossed the southern border into the U.S.

Of 193 shelters being used to house migrants, about 153 are hotels, motels or inns, according to the New York Post. About 65,300 people are reportedly residing in these facilities.

The average cost for each room is $156 per night, or as high as $300, according to the outlet.

About $1.98 billion of the $4.88 billion New York City residents have collectively spent on migrants has gone toward housing, the outlet reported. Several hotels reportedly have hefty contracts with the city, including the Row NYC hotel, which is getting $5.13 million each month, and the Crowne Plaza JFK in Queens, which secured a $2-million-per-month deal for housing migrants in its 335 rooms.

Some are not happy with how their tax money is being spent.

“Our taxes are being used to pay for the migrants, and where are we supposed to make revenue?” asked a local business owner, the New York Post reported.

Councilwoman Joann Ariola also criticized the use of taxpayer funds for migrant housing.

“These locations were meant to boost the economy of this city, but instead they’ve become a net drain and are costing us enormously,” she said.

New York Mayor Eric Adams’s administration signed an emergency $76.69 million contract in January 2024 with the Hotel Association of New York City to provide “last resort” shelter to migrant families, according to the New York Post.

The contract directed 15 Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx hotels to provide asylum-seeking migrants access to blocks of rooms for up to 28 days under a “vouchering program” until July, the outlet reported.

Adams later issued a March 15, 2024 decree restricting migrants’ access to shelters. Under the order, migrants would have to leave shelters after 30 days and would not be able to reapply, though exceptions could be made for individuals with medical conditions or an “extenuating circumstance,” according to the release.

Wall Street Is Panicking That Trump’s Policies Could Make The Economy Work For Average Americans

By The Daily Caller

Wall Street is panicking that former President Donald Trump’s populist economic policies will hurt growth in a second term, but experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation that it’s average Americans who stand to benefit.

Wall Street traders are increasingly betting that Trump will win the presidency following President Joe Biden’s dismal debate performance at the end of June and are worried that the former president’s immigration and trade policies will hurt topline economic growth, according to Politico. While Trump’s economic policies might harm the results of headline economic reports, they channel benefits to average American workers who are dealing with the effects of a massive surge of illegal immigration and unfavorable trade policies, according to experts who spoke to the DCNF.

Trump has campaigned and governed on key populist policies that prioritize trade protectionism and American manufacturing. This goes hand in hand with Trump’s immigration policy plans for his potential next term, as he pledged to implement the largest domestic mass deportation during an Iowa campaign speech in December.

“What the Biden administration has done is they have just essentially stopped enforcing border laws, and they parole these illegal immigrants into our country,” Michael Faulkender, chief economist at the America First Policy Institute, told the DCNF. “They give them work visas. And this is why people on the left are saying that Trump’s policies would cause inflation. It’s because if we deport all of those workers, then somehow we wouldn’t have enough workers to do all the work that’s currently being done.”

In the last year, the number of employed foreign-born workers rose by over 600,000 to nearly 31 million, while the number of employed native-born Americans dropped by nearly 300,000. The disparity indicates that benefits under Biden are going to foreign-born workers rather than native-born Americans.

“The average American is no longer going to have to compete against the incredibly low-wage labor that is driving down the standard of living,” E.J. Antoni, a public finance economist and Richard F. Aster fellow at the Heritage Foundation, told the DCNF about the effect of Trump’s immigration policy in a second term. “In other words, you will increasingly see businesses pay living wages to their employees.”

“This was actually a key reason why a lot of blue-collar jobs saw such rapid wage growth during the first Trump term,” Antoni told the DCNF. “It was because they really helped stem the tide of illegal immigration that existed before Trump. As less of that illegal labor came across the border, it helped buoy the labor market, at least for Americans.”

A key feature of Trump’s economic policy in his first term that remains a part of his planned agenda for a second is trade protectionism, which involves setting tariffs on imports, particularly from foreign competitors like China, and promoting American manufacturing.

“Take a look at the significant application of tariffs that President Trump did during his first term,” Faulkender told the DCNF. “We had sub 2% inflation during his entire presidency. So if applying tariffs at the scale President Trump has talked about were to be as inflationary as the Democrats or demagoguing people into believing, where was the inflation during President Trump’s presidency?”

Peter Earle, senior economist at the American Institute for Economic Research, disagrees with the effectiveness of tariffs, arguing that these trade policies ultimately burden American business owners and consumers by raising costs through inflation.

“Because disinflation is underway, for now, it seems less likely that the concern is higher rates of inflation in coming years owing to monetary policy,” Earle told the DCNF. “It’s more likely that worries about Trump’s promised tariffs are causing higher yields on longer-term bonds. Tariffs increase the costs of imported goods, and if they are put on a wide variety of goods can give rise in the overall price level of goods and services.”

“To be sure, his recent call for 60% tariffs would be devastating to world trade, even beyond the U.S. and China. When costs to businesses rise, such as those for inputs which are imported, consumer prices will rise,” Earle told the DCNF.

Other economists, like Faulkender, say that Trump’s economic and trade policies actually benefit Americans across the board.

“The Trump era was very good for average Americans, for working-class Americans, and it was good for investors,” Faulkender told the DCNF. “If you look at the stock market’s performance during the Trump administration, it did exceptionally well. I really just dispute this analysis, coming from the left, that suggests that the economy is this zero-sum game and that benefiting workers is bad for investors. With the right set of policies, we can improve outcomes for investors and workers alike. That was the record under President Trump, and that’s what I expect the second term to go back to.”

RIP: 13 Men, Women, and Children Whose Lives Were Cut Short by Illegal Immigrants in Past Year

By The Daily Signal

Over the past 12 months, illegal aliens have been arrested in connection with the deaths of at least 13 Americans. Seven of those victims were minors.

“The simple fact is that every crime committed by an illegal alien is one committed by an individual who should not have been at large in the country in the first place,” House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Rep. Mark Green told The Daily Signal.

“While the Left likes to hide behind flawed studies and incomplete data on illegal alien crime, families across our country are suffering from the tragic realities of President [Joe] Biden and Secretary [Alejandro] Mayorkas’ open borders,” said Green, R-Tenn.

The growing number of American lives lost at the hands of illegal immigrants coincides with an increase in the number of criminal illegal immigrants crossing America’s borders annually.

According to Customs and Border Protection, 13,130 criminal noncitizens were encountered between ports of entry since the start of fiscal year 2024 on Oct. 1, setting up fiscal 2024 to outpace last year’s 15,267 such encounters.

“Instead of enforcing the laws they swore to uphold, Biden and Mayorkas have devoted themselves to a policy of mass catch-and-release,” Green said. “This radical agenda may excite their far-left base, but the rest of us are left wondering if one of our loved ones will be the next to fall victim to these violent crimes.”

The following are 13 Americans who have lost their lives at the hands of illegal aliens in the past 12 months.

Franklin Jose Peña Ramos, 26, and Johan Jose Martinez-Rangel, 22, have been charged with capital murder in the death of Jocelyn Nungaray in Houston. Nungaray’s body was found in a creek on June 17.

In court documents obtained by Fox News, Harris County Assistant District Attorney Michael Abner wrote that “the defendant lured a 12-year-old under a bridge, where he and his co-defendant remained with her for over 2 hours, took her pants off, tied her up, and killed her, then threw her body into the bayou.”

Peña Ramos crossed the border in May; Martinez-Rangel in March. Both men are from Venezuela.

“Let me be very clear,” Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, recently said in an appearance on Fox News, “These bastards should be executed, and they should burn in the pits of hell. But we shouldn’t have to be talking about this, because Jocelyn should still be with us. And every day this administration is releasing more and more and more illegal aliens who are going on to kill people day after day after day.”

On April 26, Maine state troopers responded to reports of a car crash on Interstate 95 in Wells, about 30 miles south of Portland.

Driving a Toyota Prius, Oguzhan Cildir—an illegal immigrant who crossed the U.S. border from Mexico in January—hit a minivan and a pickup truck, according to The Maine Wire. The pickup truck, carrying Gloria Cascio and her husband, rolled over a number of times. Cascio was pronounced dead at the scene, and her husband suffered serious injuries.

The Maine Wire reported Thursday: “More than 62 days after the fatal accident, no charges have been filed against Cildir, and a police source tells the Maine Wire that State Police are still waiting for a toxicology report.”

Rafael Govea Romero was indicted in February on capital murder charges in the death of Lizbeth Medina last December.

Nilson Granados-Trejo, an illegal alien and Salvadoran national, has been charged with first- and second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of 2-year-old Jeremy Poou-Caceres in Maryland in February.

The little boy and his mom were out for a walk when they were caught up in the crossfire of an illegal immigrant who was in a car and firing, reportedly at another group of people.

An illegal alien who had been deported four times faces charges in connection with the accident that killed mother and son Melissa and Riordan Powell in December 2023 in Colorado. He was reportedly driving under the influence.

Jose Guadalupe Menjivar-Alas, an El Salvadoran, was said to be going about 100 mph when his vehicle struck the vehicle carrying Powell and her son.

Menjivar-Alas faces multiple charges, including vehicular homicide.

Hermanio Joseph, a Haitian migrant, illegally crossed the border in 2022, according to the Daily Mail.

On Aug. 22, Joseph was driving with an invalid license in Lawrenceville, Ohio, when he swerved over the centerline and struck a school bus full of children. Aiden Clark, 11, was ejected from the bus and pronounced dead at the scene. About two dozen other children were injured.

Joseph was found guilty May 1 of involuntary manslaughter and vehicular homicide and was sentenced to nine to 13 years in prison, WDTN-TV reported.

Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez, 23, crossed the U.S. southern border illegally in February 2023, according to Harford County, Maryland, Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler. Six months later, in August 2023, Hernandez is suspected of attacking, raping, and killing Rachel Morin, a mother of five, while she exercised on the MA & PA Heritage Trail in Bel Air, Maryland, about 30 miles northeast of Baltimore.

After a lengthy investigation, authorities arrested Hernandez in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on June 14 on charges of rape and murder.

Biden Regime to Let Migrants from 7 Jihadi Regions, Denied Visas Under Trump’s National Security Order, Can Reapply for Free

By The Geller Report

Because we don’t have enough problems.

Written by Alza Kryeziu, Visa Guide,  June 14, 2024:

Almost 25,000 people from seven Muslim nations who were refused visas under Turmp’s travel ban can now reapply for free.

Under the new rules, the US will accept new nonimmigrant and immigrant visa applications for 365 days, provide fee credits, and schedule consular appointments.

From 2017 to 2021, when Donald Trump enacted the Muslim ban, the US denied about 41,000 visas.

After the US visa denial of nearly 25,000 immigrants from Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Syria, Venezuela and Yemen under President Donald Trump’s “Muslim ban”, they are currently allowed to reapply for free.

The decision came under a deal between immigrant groups and the Biden administration, which was approved by a federal judge in San Francisco, VisaGuide.World reports.

Over 41,000 Visas Denied Under Trump’s Travel Ban Between 2017-2021

In January 2021, when Biden rescinded former President Donald Trump’s ban on immigrant visas, it was also revealed that over the past four years, more than 41,000 visa applications have been denied.

Individuals from the above seven Muslim countries were denied a visa under Proclamation 9645 between December 8, 2017, and January 20, 2021, but they did not receive a waiver and have not received a visa since.

The settlement stipulates that the Department of State must notify class members within 30 days and provide final instructions within 80 days. Class members are entitled to submit new visa applications and receive a one-time, non-transferable fee credit. The Department is required to accept new nonimmigrant and immigrant visa applications from class members for 365 days, provide fee credits, and schedule consular appointments.

New Opportunities for Visa Applicants Affected by Trump’s Travel Ban

According to Reddy Neumann Brown PC (Houston’s largest immigration law firm), the following parameters will be used to identify class members:

Individuals who filed a nonimmigrant visa application or immigrant visa application and were denied under PP 9645 between December 8, 2017, and January 20, 2021

No waiver of that visa refusal was issued

The individual was ultimately not granted a visa for the same visa application after Proclamation 9645 was revoked

The visa requested and denied under PP 9645 was NOT a diversity visa application

Since the cancellation of PP 9645 on January 20, 2021, the applicant has not made another application for a nonimmigrant or immigrant visa

During his 2016 campaign, Trump declared that “Islam hates us” and would ban all Muslim immigration to the US. At the same time, he released his first version of the travel ban a few days after taking office, barring people from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the US.

In response to this decision two months later, federal courts struck it down as discrimination based on religion and nationality. However, when Biden took office, he reversed the ban, but people are still affected.

Evidence mounts Islamic State is looking to the US southern border

by Jeff Seldin, VOA News, June 26, 2024:

WASHINGTON — U.S. intelligence and security officials are increasing their focus on the country’s southern border, worried the constant flow of migrants has attracted the attention of the Islamic State terror group.

The heightened concern follows the arrests earlier this month of eight men from Tajikistan, all of whom entered the United States via its southern border with Mexico, some making the trip over a year ago.

While the initial background checks came up clean, U.S. law enforcement subsequently turned up information indicating potential ties to the Islamic State group, also known as IS or ISIS.

“It’s not lost on us that the people who killed over 150 Russians in that theater were from the same part of the world,” said Ken Wainstein, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s undersecretary for intelligence and analysis, referring to the March attack on a Moscow concert hall, claimed by the terror group’s Afghan affiliate….
