The J6 Show Trial Is Lying About Election ‘Fraud’

The January 6 show trial is partly about persecuting political opponents. But it’s also about covering up the truth of the 2020 election.

The purpose of the January 6 committee is to further the lie that there was nothing seriously wrong with the 2020 election and to criminalize any questioning of the election. The January 6 riot gives the committee a nice hook, but that’s not what they really care about.

They want to prevent you from admitting the election was irregular, faulty, or anything less than the most perfect election in the history of mankind, and from supporting people who fought against those irregularities. In service of this goal, the January 6 committee repeatedly lied about the actual claims Donald Trump supporters have made about the flaws in the election.

The January 6 Committee is conducting a show trial, not a criminal one. Show trials, common in authoritarian regimes, are held for propaganda purposes, to punish political opponents, and to cover up the truth of what the regime has done.

Democrats’ show trial is completely one-sided. The members on the committee were appointed exclusively by Democrat Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. There are zero Republican-appointed members. In fact, Pelosi refused to allow the top Republicans Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy picked for the committee — an unprecedented violation of House rules and norms.

No one represents the accused or advocates for their rights. No cross-examination or presentation of defense has been allowed from the targets of the trial. The committee does not follow House rules on evidence or witness depositions. The so-called investigation has declared off-limits any good-faith inquiry into issues that contradict their persecution, whether a look at what led to the lack of security by Capitol police forces or a look at the legitimate concerns about the unique and novel way the 2020 election was conducted.

The show trial is deeply and profoundly un-American. This week’s “surprise” hearing has already imploded under the weight of the inaccurate testimony given by young staff assistant Cassandra Hutchinson. But last Thursday’s episode also deserves scrutiny for the lies it contained.

That hearing was focused on Jeffrey Clark, a Department of Justice (DOJ) official during the Trump administration who had proposed more aggressive investigative and legal efforts in the controversial aftermath of the 2020 election than many of his peers. Incidentally, among the growing concerns about a ream of false statements given is a report that Hutchinson also lied about Clark.

The Misdirection On ‘Fraud’

The “storyline” for the committee’s June 23 televised spectacle revolved around a letter that Clark drafted and wanted other DOJ officials to sign and send to the leadership of the Georgia state legislature. Here’s a portion of Rep. Liz Cheney’s loaded remarks about this. Before reading them, it should be noted that it has already been shown that Cheney repeatedly lied about DOJ lawyer Ken Klukowski throughout the hearing:

Neither Mr. Clark nor Mr. Klukowski had any evidence of widespread election fraud, but they were quite aware of what Mr. Trump wanted the department to do. Jeff Clark met privately with President Trump and others in the White House and agreed to assist the president without telling the senior leadership of the department who oversaw him.

As you will see, this letter claims that the US Department of Justice’s investigations have ‘Identified significant concerns that may have impacted the outcome of the election in multiple states, including the state of Georgia.’ In fact, Donald Trump knew this was a lie. The Department of Justice had already informed the president of the United States repeatedly that its investigations had found no fraud sufficient to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

The words fraud or fraudulent were used some 50 times in Thursday’s hearing, typically in the way they’re used in the excerpt above. The Democrat-appointed members would claim that Clark was alleging election fraud and, further, that everything about the election had been fully investigated and there was no evidence of problems with the election.

There are two major problems with Cheney’s argument. First, if she had read Clark’s letter, she would have noticed that while it did discuss major identified problems with the election potentially affecting the outcome, it never once alleged fraud. Second, it is highly debatable that the problems with the election were ever competently investigated or even understood.

If you look at the actual letter Clark drafted for discussion, he referenced “various irregularities,” “significant concerns that may have impacted the outcome of the election,” and “irregularities, sworn to by a variety of witnesses.” He referenced a report arising from Georgia Senate hearings that had taken sworn testimony and affidavits from many people about the chaotic and troubling administration of the Georgia election.

The complaints included problems with ballot custody, inability to monitor vote tabulation, inadequately maintained voter lists, and the counting of ballots from ineligible voters. The testimony even included something that would become a massive concern of election integrity advocates — the private takeover of government election offices by Mark Zuckerberg-funded groups.

And Georgia really was a mess, Fulton County in particular. None of Fulton County’s respected Republican election commissioners voted to certify the election. They had numerous problems, including that the first certification vote was taken just hours after Fulton County was still finding, processing, and tabulating ballots.

During the run-off, thumb drives were accidentally left in voting machines, exacerbating their previous concerns about ballot custody and chain of command issues. The commissioners also were concerned that no chain of custody information had been provided to them, even after they asked, for the 38 drop boxes spread throughout the country. The commissioners were concerned that no meaningful efforts had taken place to verify signatures on mail-in ballots.

It is false to claim that these things were properly investigated or that, if they were, there was no evidence to support them. Many independent analysts have determined that the Zuckerberg-funded takeover of government election offices significantly affected the outcome of the election.

That was where nearly $450 million was given — with a focus on the Democrat areas of swing states — to help run Get Out The Vote efforts. In an election that came down to 43,000 votes across three states, it is not difficult to make an overwhelming case that the Zuckerberg funding alone was outcome determinative.

It would have been difficult to properly investigate that in the short time period after the election, but it’s absolutely false to say it was investigated, much less thoroughly.

More Than 12,000 Illegal Votes In Georgia

Clark also expressed in his draft letter a “troubling” concern over a lawsuit that was being slow-tracked by a Georgia judge. He urged action because, “Despite the action having been filed on December 4, 2020, the trial court there has not even scheduled a hearing on matter, making it difficult for the judicial process to consider this evidence and resolve these matters on appeal prior to January 6.”

His concern was extremely well-founded. That lawsuit, widely regarded at the time as being strong and based on legitimate election problems, ended up being vindicated. In their lawsuit, the Trump campaign claimed that tens of thousands of voters had moved without registering to vote in their new residence. To get the figures about changes of address, the campaign looked at the National Change of Address data set, a secure data set of information on people who have filed a change of address with the United States Postal Service.

Filing a change-of-address form with the post office doesn’t conclusively mean the person is no longer eligible to vote at his or her former address. Some of those address changes could be college students or military members serving elsewhere. They would still be eligible to vote at the address they changed their mail from being delivered to.

But many of them reflected permanent moves to new cities and states. In fact, with around 10 percent of the population moving each year, and inadequate maintenance of voter rolls, experts say there are literally millions of bogus registrations on voter rolls all over the country. Such a situation doesn’t necessitate fraud, but it does make the situation ripe for fraud or the illegal casting of votes.

There were around 122,000 Georgia voters in 2020 who told the Postal Service they were moving to a new county in Georgia with a “move effective date” of more than 30 days before the election and who failed to re-register in their new county in time to be eligible to vote in the general election.

The secretary of state specifically instructs, citing Georgia law, that doing this means “you have lost your eligibility to vote in the county of your old residence.” Voters are required to register in the new county. “Remember, if you don’t register to vote by the deadline, you cannot vote in that particular election,” the secretary of state instructed.

The vast majority of the 122,000 voters who moved obeyed the law and did not try to vote in their old county. But thousands of voters appeared to break the law by casting a vote in a county in which they didn’t live. Most did so by voting absentee ballot, albeit many by early in-person absentee voting rather than mail-in voting.

Nearly all of these voters appeared to have voted in the wrong state house district, and more than 85 percent appeared to have voted in the wrong state senate district. Nearly two-thirds appeared to have voted in the wrong congressional district. And all of them appeared to be illegal votes in all races, since they would be ineligible to vote by law. Those who made similar moves but did not register to vote at their new address, and therefore didn’t vote, had obeyed the law.

The issue is important because it shows “the folks who obeyed the law didn’t get to vote, and the folks who broke it did get to vote,” Mark Davis, a Republican data expert in Georgia who raised alarms about the problem, said last year. Davis was a fighter for election integrity in a state that could be lax about enforcing its basic laws. He drew attention to several problems, including vulnerabilities enabling double voting.

“For years and years and years, I’ve kind of been that nerd over there that will bore you to tears talking about election integrity,” he jokes. He’s been an expert witness in five different election cases, usually dealing with problems caused by failure to place voters in their proper municipal district or related to change-of-address issues.

Davis shared the information with the Georgia Secretary of State’s office, which has admitted the problem, although it made excuses for the admittedly illegal votes.

Incidentally, it was this lawsuit that was being discussed when President Trump told the secretary of state to “find” votes. That was wrongly characterized as the president trying to pressure someone to invent a finding of problematic votes. Here’s why.

The latest update on these illegal votes is that evidence indicates more than 12,000 illegal votes were cast in Georgia in the November 2020 general election — exceeding the 11,779 votes that separated Joe Biden and Donald Trump. The campaign knew that the problem of illegal voting may be more than the margin of victory that Biden, which would have meant that the state would grant relief.

But the campaign also knew their lawsuit was being slow-tracked and that it could take more than a year to get confirmation on the numbers without help from the secretary of state. They had also listed categories of other major problems potentially affecting the margin of victory.

They just needed the secretary of state’s office to care about enough of the illegal votes earlier. While at least this illegal voting portion of the campaign’s lawsuit was vindicated, it wasn’t vindicated in a timely enough fashion to matter.

Different Legal Strategies Are Not A Crime

The Soviet-style show trial has featured testimony from people in Trump’s administration who did not think it wise to keep challenging election results, particularly after the Electoral College had convened. I know and interviewed many of them for “Rigged,” my book on the 2020 election.

They found the post-election day legal efforts led by Trump to be poorly strategized and executed. I share details about some of those debacles in the book, particularly how Rudy Guiliani took a promising Pennsylvania case with superstar attorneys — about disparate treatment of voters — into a case about fraud, thereby ruining it. That decision also led judges in other states to get nervous and impatient about other cases.

It also increased anxiety among establishment attorneys who had previously been part of the legal effort. Many of these attorneys were also having their lives and reputations threatened by NeverTrump groups, who were posting personal information and sending mobs to harass them.

Trump administration officials had major concerns — prior to the election — about the lack of election integrity provided by the rush to widespread mail-in voting. For example, former Attorney General Bill Barr said in September 2020 that expansive mail-in voting was “playing with fire.”

But these officials also believed it wasn’t really the job of the Justice Department to pursue investigations about the issue. They were willing to look into various claims that were swirling about, but considered it to be more of a local or regional crime issue that could rise to the level of DOJ interest, rather than something that should be driven from the headquarters down.

The January 6 show trial has tried to suggest that problems with the 2020 election were thoroughly investigated. Evidence for the claim is lacking. Former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Bill McSwain has publicly said he was told by Barr to stand down from investigating, a claim Barr publicly denies. McSwain wrote Trump was “right to be upset about the way the Democrats ran the 2020 election in Pennsylvania — it was a partisan disgrace.”

He added, in a letter to Trump that was later publicized, “On Election Day and afterward, our Office received various allegations of voter fraud and election irregularities. As part of my responsibilities as U.S. Attorney, I wanted to be transparent with the public and, of course, investigate fully any allegations. Attorney General Barr, however, instructed me not to make any public statements or put out any press releases regarding possible election irregularities. I was also given a directive to pass along serious allegations to the State Attorney General for investigation — the same State Attorney General who had already declared that you could not win. I disagreed with the decision, but those were my orders. As a Marine infantry officer, I was trained to follow the chain of command and to respect the orders of my superiors, even when I disagree with them.”

Again, Barr denies this accounting. And he’s publicly said he did try to run down various allegations of fraud that were being bandied about.

Clark’s superiors at the Department of Justice did not want him to pursue his aggressive efforts, but he was also discussing the topic with their superior, the president himself. He tried to pursue a more aggressive strategy than the one that many DOJ officials thought prudent.

Reasonable people can see both sides here. Prudence — particularly so late in the game — is a huge issue. More tenacious fighting for election integrity is also virtuous. Many leaders up to and including Trump himself should have done far more — far earlier — to fight Democrats’ coordinated and widespread attacks on the integrity of the country’s election system. Many Republican officials were sounding the alarm in the months prior, but more should have been done to effectively fight before the election, including a legal strategy to fight the chaos, confusion, and corruption that was almost certainly going to occur.

But differing legal strategies are not crimes, no matter how much Pelosi and Cheney and their media bootlickers would like them to be. It is reasonable to oppose Clark’s strategy, but the letter causing so much dispute was not about fraud. It was about the many other problems affecting the integrity of the election. It was also — and it says this clearly on every page — a draft product for discussion. The letter urged state legislatures to ensure the integrity of their state’s elections when there was cause for concern. The Constitution does give that responsibility to the states.

The January 6 show trial is partly about persecuting political opponents. But it’s also about covering up the truth of the 2020 election. Turning questions about the many problems with the 2020 election into a crime is the type of thing that is done in third-world countries. Persecuting people who talk about it or try to do something about it is what you expect in corrupt authoritarian regimes. It is horrific to see it happening here.

Every responsible adult in this country who reads a newspaper, watches a TV news program, or surfs the internet knows that we are experiencing a serious breakdown of the foundation of our culture. That foundation has long been considered the Judeo-Christian values that were so prevalent when our Founding Fathers gathered together to form what is now the United States of America.

In that time, for the most part, there was an accepted moral standard that provided guidance throughout a person’s life. And no, that guidance did not begin at the schoolhouse doors, nor was it completely given through sermons from the local pulpits. It was in the family home, listening to the words, and prayers of a loving father and mother where children received most of this guidance. The Holy Bible was the ‘primer’ used by families to give direction and purpose to their children. This dispensation of guidance was the most basic tenet of family life and it produced some of the most courageous, honest and trustworthy men and women who then guided our nation to become the greatest in world history.

Fast forward to today; what was considered immoral, unethical, illegal, or sinful then is now accepted as the norm in a society that has seemingly lost its moral compass. What could possibly have happened to change our national culture to this extreme in only a few hundred years? It’s easy to simply blame the devil but the truth is much more frightening. We have seen, and are still seeing, a breakdown in the American family that can be blamed on a lack of understanding of, and respect for, marriage.

The divorce statistics in the United States are staggering; in fact, one source indicates that the rate of divorce for first marriages is somewhere between 41% and 50%. Even more disturbing is the divorce rate among couples claiming to be Christian. While slightly lower than the divorce rate for non-Christians, the figures are still very high, and indicate serious problems that should be addressed by the Body of Christ.

The Origin of Marriage

Marriage is much more than a legal means for having a sexual relationship. The sexual part of marriage is very important and is a crucial part of God’s plan, but there is much more to a marriage than the sexual relationship. For Christian couples, there should be a much better understanding of the totality of marriage, how it began and why it exists. What does God have to say about marriage? Since He is the creator of marriage, let’s start with His Word on the subject. In Genesis 1:27 (KJV), we read: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” What clearer explanation for why there are only two genders on this planet: God wanted it that way! But wait, it also says in Genesis 2:18 (KJV): “And the Lord God said, it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet (or, suitable) for him.” Originally, Adam, the man, was created without the woman. After God created all the animals and brought them to Adam for him to name, God then saw that Adam was still alone, since none of the animals was suitable as a mate. Some people, in error, have stated that if God saw the woman as an afterthought, He must have made a mistake creating Adam alone. But, since God is perfect and cannot make a mistake, they must be wrong who think this way. Before God created Adam, did He know that Adam would be incomplete without a mate? Of course, He did. But He was about to demonstrate His amazing love and awesome wisdom in solving the problem of Adam not having a mate.

For most Cristian couples who were married in a church ceremony by a minister of the gospel, the words “what therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder” should be very familiar. These are very common words used at the end of many, if not most, church weddings. But how many new husbands and wives listen to those words and consider what they mean, and how important they are in a marriage?

Let’s continue the historical account of what happened from Genesis:

“And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof. And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore, shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh (Genesis 2:18-24 KJV)”.

In God’s eyes, when Adam and Eve were married, He saw them as one flesh, or one body. This is the beginning of the mystery of marriage-the joining together of a man and a woman which, in the eyes of God, forms one body from the joining of two. This passage of scripture is the first mention of marriage in the Bible, and it was the act of a loving God, joining together a man and a woman for life. God himself originated, ordained and approved marriage.

God’s Plan for Adam – a Perfect Mate

Though the animals God created were magnificent and perfect, they were not created in God’s image, and they were not what Adam needed to make him complete. However, God knew exactly what He was doing; He always does. His plan was to take a part of Adam, from his flesh and from his bone, and skillfully craft an exquisite being who would augment and complete every part of Adam’s existence, spiritually, physically and mentally.

I once heard a Christian woman say to her congregation that God is spontaneous, and she stated that Christians should also be spontaneous, like God. While that may be partly true, especially in our worship of God, I disagree with most of what she said. The very creation we are a part of, the universe and everything in it, proves that a being with supernatural intelligence and wisdom planned the entire creation down to the most minute detail. He left nothing to chance, or evolution.

The act of God’s creativity in removing a piece of Adam’s own body and transforming it into the very element that was originally missing from Adam is, to me, a proof that God plans everything well in advance. It is also possibly the greatest act of Love, other than the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus, ever recorded in the Bible. How much more perfect could Eve have been than to have come directly from the body of her husband? Please understand, in the same way that the animals were created, from the dirt, Adam was also made from the dust of the earth, from actual dirt. God took that dirt and changed it into the marvelous creation known as man, the human body, then he breathed into it His own life.

But, unlike Adam, the first human being created, Eve was made using flesh and bone that had already undergone the miraculous transformation God exhibited in creating Adam when He changed dirt into a flesh and blood body. Eve was made using material from Adam’s physical body that had already been transformed and perfected by God’s touch! But, as perfect and unique as she was, Eve, just like Adam, was incomplete on her own. It was only when God joined them back together that they completed each other. And what is just as wonderful and amazing is this: every living human being after this came from the body of the woman whom God made using the flesh and bone of Adam. Wow! God is the ultimate planner!

In God’s eyes, when Adam and Eve were joined in marriage, the two fleshes that came from one were perfectly joined back into one flesh again; only this time they perfectly complemented and completed each other! God’s plan was for Adam and Eve to remain in a perfect married state, perfectly joined together forever, since they were created not to die, but to live eternally. Had sin not entered the world, every man born of this perfect union should also have sought out and found the perfect woman, the one who would complete his life before God.

The Corruption of Sin

Up to this time, Adam and Eve had neither needed nor worn clothes because they were unaware of their nakedness: “And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed “ (Genesis 2:25 KJV). But we all know that sin did enter and that changed everything. Instantly sin opened their eyes and they saw themselves as God did; for the first time, Adam and Eve saw each other’s naked physical bodies and were ashamed: “And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons” (Genesis 3:7 KJV). Up until that time, only God knew they were naked. The shame of seeing their naked bodies caused them to hide themselves from God, as sin and shame always do.

I have often wondered why Adam and Eve didn’t know they were naked until they sinned. I personally believe that they were both covered, or crowned, with God’s own glory when He created them and they were totally unaware of their physical bodies until their eyes were opened after they sinned, and God’s glory departed from them. When sin entered through the disobedience of Adam and Eve, and their eyes were opened to know good and evil, God’s perfect plan for marriage became corrupted.

Eventually, having seen that women were beautiful to behold and physically desirable, many men began to look more for the physical beauty of a woman for completion. However, this only provided the physical completion, rather than the total completion God had planned as a result of Eve’s creation. Anytime man’s actions contradict God’s perfect plan, man loses some of what God originally intended for him. God desired, and expected, to have Adam and Eve multiply and replenish the earth with beings just like themselves. God wanted the original perfect union between one man and one woman to create a worldwide family that He could fellowship and commune with on a daily basis.

The Deception of Physical Beauty

Because of the corrupting influence of sin, men began to place a higher priority on the physical attributes of women and many eventually chose their mates based on those attributes that were pleasing to the eye. Sin caused men to relate to women more on a physical level based on their appearance, rather than their spiritual and/or intellectual makeup. However, this was a very short-sighted means of choosing a mate since another result of sin was the aging process, which is essentially the death process whereby all human beings begin to gradually lose that which keeps them young and physically attractive. Physical beauty, which soon fades, is a poor means of determining the suitability of a mate, but it now seems to be the highest priority used by both men and women in the ‘mate selection process’.

Physical beauty, without a corresponding spiritual beauty or purity, is a means of deception Satan uses to deceive men and women into making poor choices for marriage. When the aging process, or any other circumstance, such as accident or illness, causes the loss of physical beauty, the basic reason for the marriage based on appearance alone vanishes and divorce is considered a viable alternative to staying with a person who is no longer physically attractive. Based on the divorce rate statistics, this option is used nearly as often by Christian couples as those who are non-Christian. Just because it is considered to be a legitimate way of dissolving a marriage does not make it acceptable in God’s sight.

Enter Divorce

It didn’t take long for men to realize that the selection of a mate based on a woman’s physical beauty was no guarantee of a successful, or happy, marriage. The first mention of divorce is found in the Book of Leviticus, indicating that divorce had already become an issue in the time of Moses. Much later, during Jesus ministry, the question of divorce was one of the weapons the Pharisees used to try to catch Jesus in His words. In the Gospel of Matthew, we read, “The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? And he answered and said unto them, have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, and said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. They say unto him, why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. And I say unto you, whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.” (Matthew 19: 3-9 KJV)

Jesus states clearly that Moses granted divorce as an option to the Israelites due to the hardness of their hearts, not because it was acceptable to God. Those men who sought to separate from, or ‘to put away’, their wives had obviously chosen their wives using their eyes, not their hearts, and had easily fallen prey to the deceiver, Satan. As I stated earlier, God’s plan was for a man and woman to fully complement and augment each other, physically, spiritually and mentally.

But, when mate selection was based only on a physical attraction, something was missing in the marriage that hastened a divorce. What? Most people would likely answer this question that one, or both simply stopped loving the other. Only when we examine the type of love that forms the basis of a good marriage can we truly answer this question.

The True Basis for Marriage

Even though there are other words in the Greek language that are defined as ‘love’, two are mainly used in the New Testament, translated into the English word, love. The first is phileo (5368 in Strong’s Concordance), a Greek word meaning to be a friend to, or to have affection for (denoting personal attachment, as a matter of sentiment or feeling). This word usually connotes a brotherly love, or the feeling one might have for a friend. The second word is the Greek agapaó (25 in the Strong’s Concordance), which means to love in a social or moral sense, to prefer, i.e. embracing God’s will. One Word study, defines it as a “discriminating affection which involves choice and selection”.

This word has a much wider and deeper meaning than phileo, since agapaó embraces judgment and the deliberate assent of the will as a matter of duty, principle and propriety. This is the God kind of love, whereby He chooses to love when it would seem to us impossible to do so. This is the love described in John 3:16 and fully explains why God gave His only Begotten Son to be the sacrifice for our sins. God loves because He chooses to love.

Agapaó is the love God used when he took a part of Adam and skillfully crafted a mate that would provide everything, physical, spiritual and mental, that Adam was missing in his aloneness. Adam was neither physically, nor spiritually, complete until Eve was presented to him. God understood then, and understands now, exactly what every person needs to be complete.

Agapaó is the kind of love that God determined to be the basis for a man to leave his mother and father and cleave (or cling, adhere) to his wife. Agapaó love says to another person: “you are valuable and precious to me and I choose to love you and hold on to you”. But agapaó love is much more than that; agapaó is love that goes far beyond the physical and dwells on a much higher level, that of the spiritual. Unless this is the type of love that forms the foundation for a marriage, the chances for divorce are extremely high.

Since men and women are triune beings, made up of spirit, soul and body, there is a third Greek word that is very important for a healthy marriage is the word ‘eros’, from which the word ‘erotic’ is derived and it specifically refers to the physical, intimate love that is connected to the sexual act between a husband and wife. God designed the marriage of a man and woman to be a ‘complete union, one in which the two totally become one with the physical union meant to provide a satisfying physical relationship while also providing the means for the union to produce offspring. God, who is perfect, leaves nothing undone and the sexual part of marriage is no exception.

Requirements for a Successful Marriage

In the Book of Ephesians, the apostle Paul plainly tells the men in the Church at Ephesus what is required for them to be followers of God: “Husbands, love (agapaó) your wives, even as Christ also loved (agapaó) the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless, let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband” (Ephesians 5:25-33 KJV).

In this passage, Paul is comparing the relationship between a man and his wife with the relationship Christ has with the Church. The Church is the ‘body of Christ’, and Jesus loves His body. He was willing to lay down His own life for a body of sinful people so that they could form the Church that was, as yet, non-existent. The holy Spirit signified through the writing of Paul that a man should love his own wife in the same way. Even as Christ loves His body, the Church, and was willing to lay down His life for it, a man must love his wife in the same way, and certainly no less than he loves his own flesh; by the same token, the wife is instructed to reverence, or respect, her husband no less than the Church reveres Christ.

Conclusion – The Missing Ingredient in Many Marriages – Real Godly Commitment

It is indeed a great mystery that God used the union of a man and his wife to describe the union between Christ and the Church. Jesus was committed to God’s plan of salvation, knowing in himself that He would have to die for the church, His body of believers, to become pure and clean and worthy of Him. He knew the terrible price He would have to pay for that union to come into existence, but He possessed the critical attribute that allowed Him to face His death and not waiver—commitment. By an act of His will, he chose to follow God’s plan, no matter what the cost to Him. A husband should have the same commitment concerning his wife, and by an act of his will, he should choose to love her, at all costs.

In the same way, once a man determines what is required of him to love his wife with agapao love, he must then decide, by an act of his will, to commit to, and remain committed to, the union with his wife that has been ordained and blessed by God. When this commitment is present, the means to cherish and nourish his wife will come much easier, as will her respect and reverence for her husband

I am reminded of the words of Ruth Graham, wife of evangelist Billy Graham, who, during an interview, was asked about her long marriage to her world-famous husband. When asked if she ever thought about divorce, she answered emphatically, “No, I’ve never thought of divorce in all these 35 years of marriage, but I did think of murder a few times”. She was obviously joking about the murder comment, but her words indicate that even the most godly and strongest believers are, at times, driven to think negative thoughts about their marriages. However, with Godly love and commitment, the divorce option can, and should, be taken off the table when marital problems occur, as they invariably will. Situations will occur in every marriage to cause anger, frustration and hurt, but none of these should ever be considered a reason to dissolve a marriage that was ordained and blessed before God.

Imagine the hurt that Jesus feels when we, His body, mess up and sin against Him. Yet, He is always there, waiting for us to come to Him, repent and ask forgiveness and restore the fellowship that was broken as a result of our sin. In the same way, when problems arise that break the marital fellowship, husbands and wives should first consider what is needed for restoration, and then repent, ask for forgiveness of, and forgive, each other. This act of fellowship restoration will often save the marital relationship.

It is somewhat understandable that non-Christian couples will not comprehend the majesty and mystery of marriage, but all who have a good Christian foundation on which their lives together were built must realize that they will be held accountable for what happens in their marriages. When Jesus said the words: “what God has joined together, let not man put asunder” (Matthew 19:6 KJV), He established and confirmed God’s law on marriage. I know that many will say they made a mistake and should not have married the person they did. But does that make divorce among Christians OK? To answer that properly, we must consider that marriage vows are just that: they are vows or oaths made before Almighty God. In Psalm 15, the psalmist asked these questions of God: “Who shall dwell in thy tabernacle? And who shall dwell in thy holy hill?” He provides a partial answer in verse 4b: “He that sweareth to his own hurt and changeth not”. Christian couples must understand the sacred duty and obligation they accepted when they both spoke the vows that were to bind them together in holy matrimony for life. The basis for their marriage must not be a purely physical attraction and love, but it must be the agapaó love described previously.

This agapaó love, and the ensuing commitment to a marriage, will not keep problems from occurring, but they will provide the Christian couple with the Godly means to work on, and solve, every problem that does arise and will allow them to remain in a committed and loving relationship. The agapaó love and commitment should always find the answer to any problem before divorce is ever considered. If all Christian couples would work more diligently on their level of commitment, embracing love as a choice, rather than a physical attraction, a long and successful marriage is possible. The best result would be that Christian divorce rates would drop dramatically and God will be pleased.

Her appearance at the July 3rd, 2022 Somali Independence Day concert attended by 10,000 Somalis is proof of the political mess she is now in. She is up for reelection and has a primary opponent Don Samuels who said that now is the time to run for Congress because he’s concerned about the direction of the country — and because he believes Omar’s style is “not compatible with the needs of the moment.” If Omar’s appearance at the concert is any indication then Omar may be primaried out.

Tomorrow, on the 4th of July, there will be massive protests by Dutch farmers against the Dutch government.

The Dutch government led by Prime Minister Mark Rutte (a fake conservative) wants to drive large numbers of farmers off their lands. Dutch farmers are among the best in the world and they supply the Dutch population with high quality food, every day.

The reason that the government needs to intervene is supposedly to save Nature. They claim that the farmers and their cattle produce too much Nitrogen.

In reality; they want their land to build houses on for mass numbers of immigrants from Africa and the Middle East. Mostly Muslims.

Disney’s ‘Baymax!’ features transgender man buying period pads, sparking outrage

Conservatives expressed outrage online after a leaked video of an episode of “Baymax!”, the new kids’ show streaming on Disney+, features a transgender man who buys tampons at a supermarket.

Christopher Rufo, the conservative academic from the right-leaning think tank the Manhattan Institute, said he had “obtained leaked video” on Tuesday from an upcoming episode of “Baymax!”, which is a six-episode spinoff of the popular hit film “Big Hero 6.”

In the scene, the protagonist, the Marvel Comics superhero nurse robot Baymax, is in the aisle of a supermarket in the fictional town of San Fransokyo browsing women’s hygiene products.

Baymax, who serves as a “personal healthcare companion” for the residents of the city, is trying to help a 12-year-old girl named Sofia who in an earlier episode confided in her superhero friend that she was having her first period, the Houston Chronicle reported.

Sofia told Baymax about her menstrual cycle during an intimate conversation in an all-gender bathroom just before she was supposed to perform at a school talent show.

“I wasn’t prepared for this!” an anxious Sofia tell Baymax.

“And the dispenser’s empty! And I don’t even have a thing! A tampad. A pad-pon. A maxi-pad-pon with wings?”

Eager to help his friend, Baymax heads to the supermarket to go shopping for some period products.

In the scene, the protagonist, the Marvel Comics superhero nurse robot Baymax, is in the aisle of a supermarket in the fictional town of San Fransokyo browsing women’s hygiene products.

He then asks a woman in the women’s hygiene aisle to recommend a product for a period.

The bewildered woman, who initially wears a shocked look on her face, tells Baymax: “Oh, um, well…these are the tampons I usually use.”

Baymax is then surrounded by several other shoppers who offer their own recommendations.

“I prefer pads. They’re more comfortable for me,” another woman said, handing Baymax a different product.

A woke California school board member is calling for people to boycott the Fourth of July, claiming ‘there is no reason to celebrate’ America’s Independence Day.

AnaMarie Avila Farias, a third-generation Contra Costa County resident and member of the county’s board of education, shared a fading blue and white image of the United States flag on June 28, along with the words ‘BOYCOTT 4TH OF JULY,’ on Facebook.

‘I haven’t celebrated 4th of July since 2016 and I don’t think it’s a holiday to celebrate’ Farias wrote in a Facebook post. ‘What do you think?’

The elected official’s stance on the federal holiday prompted a mixed bag of reactions from people on her private page, some agreeing with her while others were critical.

‘Why boycott the 4th of July? Without what our forefathers did we as Americans would not have the freedoms that we have today,’ one user wrote.

Another agreed him with him, only to ask: ‘Why? The holiday celebrates declaring independence from Britain’s tyrant King George III. You wish we were still subjects of Britain?’

The mother-of-two, who is also a member of the Democratic Party of Contra Costa County (DPCCC), also shared a blog post from the online-publishing platform, ‘Medium,’ written by Dana P. Saxon – founder of Ancestors Unknown, a ‘curriculum and special programming for schools and youth orgs.’

Her blog post is titled: ‘9 Reasons Why I Don’t Celebrate the 4th of July.’ In it she writes: ‘After 1776, it took nearly another 100 years before my ancestors technically gained their freedom in 1865. And a whole heap of pain, trauma, and oppression maintained during those years when only white Americans were liberated from someone else’s rule.’

She then went on to cite the three-fifths compromise, the 1787 fugitive slave clause and Frederick Douglass’ 1852 famous speech: ‘What to the Slave Is the Fourth of July?’ as reasons not to celebrate the federal holiday.

While Merrick Garland’s hyper-politicized Justice Department keeps hunting for terrorists at school board meetings, real terrorism continues: San Antonio’s KSAT reported Saturday that “a Gonzales County man was sentenced to 18 years in federal prison for conspiring to provide material support to the foreign terrorist organization Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham/Syria, also known as ISIS.” The convict’s name is Jaylyn Christopher Molina, or rather, it was Jaylyn Christopher Molina; now’s it’s Abdur Rahim. Molina/Rahim is “accused of conspiring with a South Carolina man to provide services to ISIS by administering a chat group to share pro-ISIS propaganda and instructions on firearms training and bomb-making.” What was that you were saying again about “white supremacists” being the biggest terror threat the nation faces today?

Molina was very clear about his allegiances, writing in an online chat: “Let it be clear, I am against America. America is my enemy.” He and another American, Kristopher Sean Matthews, or rather, Ali Jibreel of Elgin, South Carolina, to commit “Netflix worthy” terror attacks at Trump Tower and the New York Stock Exchange, which they thought would gain them “rock star status.”

Molina wrote: “We need to stick together, we need to defeat them, we need to take a lot of casualties, a lot of numbers.” Matthews stated: “I would hit places like that to send a message.” According to the legal complaint against the pair, Molina “also described attacking communications centers and plans to ‘fortify a town barrier and establish the first bases or establish a HQ.’” Both Molina and Matthews pledged allegiance to the Islamic State (ISIS), discussed traveling to Syria to join up with the jihad group, and even tried to make contact with an ISIS operative who would help them get there. Molina pursued his jihad online, posting instructions on how to train to handle an AK-47 along with directions on how to build a bomb.

This raises a question that has come up many times before, but has never been answered: why do so many converts to Islam come to hate their own country? Nor are Matthews and Molina by any means the first Americans converted to Islam to try to join ISIS. Spc. Hasan Edmonds, a Muslim member of the U.S. Army National Guard, was arrested in 2015 at Chicago’s Midway Airport; he had been planning to join the Islamic State. His cousin, Jonas “Yunus” Edmonds, was arrested as well. They had allegedly been plotting a jihad attack against a U.S. military facility — making Hasan Edmonds the latest in a long line of people who convert to Islam and then turn traitor.

Is it just a coincidence that so many converts to Islam come to regard the country in which they were born and raised, the land of their families and forefathers, as an enemy? Or is there some connection?

Hasan Edmonds clearly believed that his new religion required a shift of his allegiance. “I am already in the American kafir [infidel] army,” he told an informant in January, “and now I wish only to serve in the army of Allah alongside my true brothers.”

Other American converts to Islam who have turned traitor include Sgt. Hasan Akbar, an American engineer from the 101st Airborne Division, who murdered Capt. Christopher Scott Seifert and Maj. Gregory Stone, wounding fifteen others in a grenade and small-arms attack in northern Kuwait on March 22, 2003. As he committed his murders, he yelled, “You guys are coming into our countries, and you’re going to rape our women and kill our children.”

Yet Akbar was not Iraqi or Kuwaiti. He was an American from Los Angeles. But when he became a Muslim, any allegiance he may have had to America was gone. Likewise in the cases of al-Qaeda spokesman Adam Gadahn and the Marin County Mujahid, John Walker Lindh, both of whom converted to Islam and ended up waging war against the country of their birth on behalf of its enemies.

All the major Muslim organizations in the United States condemn ISIS. So why, when Jaylyn Molina and Kristopher Matthews converted to Islam, did they fall prey to its supposedly twisted and hijacked understanding of Islam? Why wasn’t the peaceful, tolerant, true Islam that everyone assumes converts to Islam are taught in American mosques able to withstand a challenge from the supposedly un-Islamic vision of ISIS? Why aren’t the mosques they attended being investigated? Why am I the only person in the country asking these questions?

There is another question as well: what if Molina and Matthews had succeeded in carrying out a large-scale jihad massacre at Trump Tower? How many Leftists would stand up and cheer because the killing took place at a site that had Trump’s name on it? Can anyone really doubt that this would have brought out the Left’s enthusiastic bloodlust?

(RepublicanPartyNews) – I think it’s pretty safe to say, at this point, Joe Biden is the worst president this country has ever seen. Given that the ranks for such a title include names like Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama, this is a major accomplishment, albeit one that no normal, sane individual would be happy to have bestowed upon them.

There are a number of things that make Biden’s term so egregiously bad. The fact that gas prices are so high you nearly have to sell off a kidney on the black market just to get work everyday is a good starting point. Then, of course, there’s the 9 percent inflation rate, the crisis at the southern border, and the fact that many of our nation’s enemies are more emboldened to take action against us than ever before.

Yeah, things are looking pretty bleak right now.

In fact, according to WND, who cited a report from Just the News, Republican Rep. Jim Jordan from Ohio is calling it a deliberate assault on the United States. Jordan made an appearance on the John Solomon Reports podcast where he cited Biden’s threat to withhold funding for school lunch programs from establishments that don’t fall in line with the LGBT agenda.

“It makes no sense. That tells you this is intentional,” Jordan said.

Deroy Murdock, a columnist and London Center fellow, spoke with Just the News, stating, “The wide-open ‘border’ is no accident. It is deliberate. This is not a sign of incompetence. It is a reflection of [Biden’s] relentless, intentional destruction of the southern ‘frontier.’”

“Those high fuel prices, triggered by Biden’s cancellation of drilling leases in the Gulf and blocked energy exploration in oil-rich part of Alaska?” the report posits.

“It’s intentional,” Liz Harrington, a former spokesman for President Trump, remarked.

The Just the News report said, “House Minority Whip Steve Scalise expounded in a recent statement, noting Biden approved a pipeline for Russia but blocked one for America.”

Scalise stated, “It’s not that he’s against all pipelines. As my colleagues have pointed out, he approved Russia’s pipeline, the Nord Stream 2, which builds on top of the Nord Stream 1, which was already supplying Russian oil to parts of Europe. We could have been there to provide all of the oil and gas that Europe needs. And instead, Biden turned off the spigots here and sent leverage to Putin.”

Scalise then went on to explain that Americans are not that dumb.

“People get this,” he said during a conversation with Just the News. “As [GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik] said, ‘The American people are smarter than Joe Biden gives them credit for.’ They know it’s Biden’s policies — anti-American energy policies — that have led to this skyrocketing sticker shock at the pump, where it costs over $150, in some cases, to fill your car.”

“It actually was Biden, and Kamala Harris too, who suggested that high fuel prices were just part of their intentional scheme, even though Republicans had been labeled conspiracists when they suggested it first,” WND reported.

Biden confessed, “When it comes to the gas prices, we’re going through an incredible transition that is taking place that, God willing, when it’s over, we’ll be stronger and the world will be stronger and less reliant on fossil fuels.”

Harris then stated, “We are all in the midst of a turning point. We have the technology to transition to a zero-emission fleet. Our administration — together, all of us — is working to make that possibility a reality.”

The congressman then said that Biden, along with Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, basically lied to the American public when they said that inflation was transitory, so Democrats could spend however much they wanted.

“Janet Yellen said this week, ‘We were surprised that we had this kind of inflation. We didn’t really see it coming.’ And I’m like, how could you not see it coming? You spent like crazy. You paid people not to work, and you drove up the cost of energy,” Jordan noted.

“Yellen’s claims, Jordan said, make clear that what is happening under Biden ‘is intentional,’” WND reported.

It appears that Ilhan Omar has fallen out of favor with her own people. On June 7th, 2022 Robert Spencer reported that Muslims accused Ilhan Omar of unbelief, calling her a ‘disgrace to the hijab’ because of her Pride Month tweet.

Her appearance at the July 3rd, 2022 Somali Independence Day concert attended by 10,000 Somalis is proof of the political mess she is now in. She is up for reelection and has a primary opponent Don Samuels who said that now is the time to run for Congress because he’s concerned about the direction of the country — and because he believes Omar’s style is “not compatible with the needs of the moment.” If Omar’s appearance at the concert is any indication then Omar may be primaried out.

The race for Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District seat, currently held by U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar, is shaping up to be one of the state’s most interesting in the 2022 midterms. Omar is already facing several Republican candidates — Royce White, Cicely Davis and Shukri Abdirahman — but as of this week, Omar has a new challenger from her own party.

Don Samuels, 72, a community organizer who previously served as a member on the Minneapolis City Council and the Minneapolis Public Schools Board of Education, announced this week that he would be running to unseat Omar in the DFL primary.

The Great Reset in Action: Ending Freedom of the Press, Speech, and Expression

Governments, corporations, and elites have always been fearful of the power of a free press, because it is capable of exposing their lies, destroying their carefully crafted images, and undermining their authority. In recent years, alternative journalism has been growing and more people are relying on social media platforms as sources of news and information. In response, the corporate state, digital conglomerates, and the mainstream media have been increasingly supportive of the silencing and censoring of alternative media outlets and voices that challenge the official narrative on most issues.

At the recent World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, Switzerland, “Australian eSafety commissioner” Julie Inman Grant stated that “freedom of speech is not the same thing as a free for all,” and that “we are going to need a recalibration of a whole range of human rights that are playing out online—from freedom of speech … to be free from online violence.” Meanwhile, the Canadian government is seeking to restrict independent media and the freedom of expression via the implementation of Bill C-11, which would allow it to regulate all online audiovisual platforms on the internet, including content on Spotify, Tik Tok, YouTube, and podcast clients.

Similarly, the UK is seeking to introduce an Online Safety Bill, the US “paused” the establishment of a Disinformation Governance Board following backlash, and the European Union approved its own Digital Services Act, all of which aim to limit the freedom of speech. Attempts by elites and politicians to silence dissenters and critical thinkers is not something new. In fact, history is full of examples of “the persecution of men of science, the burning of scientific books, and the systematic eradication of the intelligentsia of the subjected people.”

However, these current efforts to curtail freedom of speech and press by supposedly liberal governments are still somewhat ironic, given that even “the most intolerant of churches, the Roman Catholic Church, even at the canonization of a saint, admits, and listens patiently to, a ‘devil’s advocate.’ The holiest of men, it appears, cannot be admitted to posthumous honors, until all that the devil could say against him is known and weighed.”

The corporate state, digital conglomerates, and the mainstream media want to ensure that they have the exclusive authority to dictate people’s opinions, wants, and choices through their sophisticated propaganda techniques. To do so, they have even resorted to transforming falsehoods into truth. In fact, the word truth has already had its original meaning altered, as those who speak the truth on certain subjects are now regularly accused of spreading hate speech, misinformation, and disinformation.

Presently, truth is no “longer something to be found, with the individual conscience as the sole arbiter of whether in any particular instance the evidence (or the standing of those proclaiming it) warrants a belief; it becomes something to be laid down by authority, something which has to be believed in the interest of the unity of the organized effort, and which may have to be altered as the exigencies of this organized effort require it.”

However, modifying the definition of truth comes with the potential for great peril, as truth-seeking often contributes to human progress in that it leads to discoveries that ultimately benefit society at large. It should be noted that truth is by no means the only word whose meaning has been changed recently in order for it to serve as an instrument of propaganda; others include freedom, justice, law, right, equality, diversity, woman, pandemic, vaccine, etc. This is highly concerning, because such attempts at the “perversion of language, the change of meaning of the words by which the ideals” of the ruling class are expressed is a consistent feature of totalitarian regimes.

As a number of liberal-democratic governments increasingly move toward totalitarianism, they want people to forget that there is “the greatest difference between presuming an opinion to be true, because, with every opportunity for contesting it, it has not been refuted, and assuming its truth for the purpose of not permitting its refutation.” According to them, “public criticism or even expressions of doubt must be suppressed because they tend to weaken public support.”

In fact, they believe that all views and opinions that might cast doubt or create hesitation need to be restricted in all disciplines and on all platforms. This is because “the disinterested search for truth cannot be allowed” when “the vindication of the official views becomes the sole object” of the ruling class. In other words, the control of information is practiced and the uniformity of views is enforced in all fields under totalitarian rule.

The suppression of freedom of the press, speech, expression, and thought means that current and future generations will be “deprived of the opportunity of exchanging error for truth: if wrong, they lose, what is almost as great a benefit, the clearer perception and livelier impression of truth, produced by its collision with error.” They are also at risk of becoming ignorant of the fact that the only way in which a person can know “the whole of a subject” is by “hearing what can be said about it by persons of every variety of opinion, and studying all modes in which it can be looked at by every character of mind.” That is to say, current and future generations will be unaware that “the steady habit of correcting and completing” one’s own “opinion by collating it with those of others, so far from causing doubt and hesitation in carrying it into practice, is the only stable foundation for a just reliance on it.”

At present, it is likely that the masses do not regard freedom of the press, speech, expression, and thought as being particularly important, because “the great majority are rarely capable of thinking independently, that on most questions they accept views which they find ready-made, and that they will be equally content if born or coaxed into one set of beliefs or another.” Nevertheless, no one should have the power and authority to “select those to whom” freedom of thought, enlightenment and expression is to be “reserved.”

In fact, John Stuart Mill went so far as to claim that “if all mankind minus one, were of one opinion, and only one person were of the contrary opinion, mankind would be no more justified in silencing that one person, than he, if he had the power, would be justified in silencing mankind.” He further added that silencing the expression of an opinion is essentially an act of “robbing the human race,” which applies to both current and future generations. Even though the suppressors can deny the truth to people at a particular point in time, “history shows that every age having held many opinions which subsequent ages have deemed not only false but absurd; and it is as certain that many opinions, now general, will be rejected by future ages, as it is that many, once general, are rejected by the present.”

If current efforts to suppress freedom of the press, speech, expression, and thought to succeed, then the search for truth will eventually be abandoned and totalitarian authorities will decide what “doctrines ought to be taught and published.” There will be no limits to who can be silenced, as the control of opinions will be extended to all people in all fields. Accordingly, contemporary authoritarian policymakers need to be reminded about the crucial importance of freedom of speech, expression, and thought, which the US Supreme Court recognized in the 1957 case Sweezy v. New Hampshire when it ruled that

to impose any strait jacket upon the intellectual leaders in our colleges and universities would imperil the future of our Nation. No field of education is so thoroughly comprehended by man that new discoveries cannot yet be made…. Teachers and students must always remain free to inquire, to study and to evaluate, to gain new maturity and understanding; otherwise, our civilization will stagnate and die…. Our form of government is built on the premise that every citizen shall have the right to engage in political expression and association. This right was enshrined in the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights. Exercise of these basic freedoms in America has traditionally been through the media of political associations…. History has amply proved the virtue of political activity by minority, dissident groups, who innumerable times have been in the vanguard of democratic thought and whose programs were ultimately accepted. Mere unorthodoxy or dissent from the prevailing mores is not to be condemned. The absence of such voices would be a symptom of grave illness in our society.

Yes, I grew up in the 1950s, and graduated from eighth grade in 1960.  Those were some wonderful years in America.  The war was over, the future was bright, and hard work promised prosperity.

Television was brand new and still pretty sweet.  The cartoons of those days were so much fun.  Mighty Mouse, Road Runner and Tom and Jerry were some of my favorites. And those Saturday morning programs…The Lone Ranger, Sky King, Adventures of Superman, Flash Gordon, Rin Tin Tin, Gene Autry, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, The Cisco Kid, Andy Devine with “Plunk your magic twanger froggy.”

Famous evening shows I remember were Gunsmoke, Rawhide, Yancy Derringer, Cheyenne, the Rifleman, Lassie, Rod Serling’s Twilight Zone, Peter Gunn, Bonanza, Sea Hunt with Lloyd Bridges, father of Beau Jeff Bridges, and Paladin.

There were so many more, and I know readers born in the early baby boomer generation can name all their favorites from those marvelous days in America.

I miss those days.  I want them back.  And I want back the wonderful and patriotic American actors and actresses of that era.  Here is one of our favorites, John Wayne and the celebrity ensemble.  In the second half, they all share in singing God Bless America.  Surely, you’ll fondly remember those stars who have long since passed on, but there are a few who are still with us.  Each of them has a special place in my heart, but Duke was and is always at the top, right along with Bob Hope and Bing Crosby.

Before you start the barbeques and fireworks, watch this six-minute video, and ask the Lord for help in resurrecting the marvelous America we once had.  Won’t you take just a few minutes every day to bend your knees to the Lord and ask for Him to give us wisdom and guidance in saving our beloved country?

I hope today finds you well, at your desk as Executive Editor of The NY Times. That is quite the achievement, my friend. It is ultimately you who has the last say in what is published in your esteemed tabloid. As usual, your ace reporters are spot on with their highly moral, factual, and prevalent reporting. As you already know, those radical right wing lunatics are at it again, calling your tabloid one level below the National Enquirer and Pravda….even below CNN, if you can believe that! Let’s see what has been going on lately, news that you are laser focused on.

We Must Get Trump!

It seems that elected President Trump is still at the forefront of your news coverage. Conservatives are shocked that there is rarely a mention of Brandon, the installed resident at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. I myself find it a bit odd also, with all Joey has accomplished in such a short time—that your front page wouldn’t have wall to wall coverage of his monumental accomplishments. It’s almost….almost mind you, as if you are intentionally trying to divert attention away from Joey. Now why would that be Kahny?

Well, let’s get back to what is most important—to get elected President Trump! I understand the highly unbiased, partisan 1/6 committee investigating Trump was not doing well in the rating department. That is until recently, that is. Things have taken a dramatic turn since the very reputable Cassidy Hutchinson, former White House aide appeared before the committee.

Sharing stories of President Trump lunging and choking secret service agents, then trying to grab the wheel and commandeer the vehicle commonly called, “the Beast.” I know Kahny, this name is sometimes confused with Hillary Clinton, who went by the same moniker while occupying the White House with Bubba. I am actually terrified just hearing these stories. Those poor secret service agents, I hope they didn’t experience PTSD. The horror! Of course, I’m referring to working with Hillary.

More Witnesses to Come Forward

This is just the tip of the iceberg Kahny. Unnamed sources (old WAPO trick), have said there would be more witnesses coming forward in the upcoming weeks. From what I’m told, these witnesses will be the final nail in the coffin for President Trump.

This first witness was also in the President’s car. It seems that when no one was paying attention: President Trump put on war paint and a full length Indian headdress and, armed himself with a crossbow. He started screaming, “that he wanted to lead the violent INSURRECTION, and to drive the Beast (not Hillary) to the Capitol steps. The Secret Service tried to dissuade the President, saying that this wouldn’t be in his best interest….but to no avail. That’s when President Trump started to shoot arrows at the driver, demanding he change course. If not for the agility and dexterity of said agent, this would have been a very different story.

One of the arrows pierced the windshield, so they had to pull over naturally and call one of those mobile windshield places to come replace it. Reportedly, they have video of this, but Chardonnay Pelosi has refused to release the tapes again. We reached out to her office, but it was visiting day at Betty Ford, and she was out there visiting Big Paulie. She also had to give him some information on some stock trades he needed to make…….before the information goes public of course.

Well, once the vehicle stopped to have the windshield replaced; President Trump made his move, he bolted from the beast (not Hillary) and made a beeline towards the Capitol. What a horrifying account! It was later revealed that the witness is Adam Schiff’s chief of staff.

It Gets Worse!

Now, the President was on the loose, and nowhere to be found. This is why we can’t understand why Chardonnay will not release those videos, it would clean up so many unanswered questions. Like the pesky question: why wasn’t FBI agent Ray Epps (inciting the crowd to storm the Capitol), not arrested for his part in the INSURRECTION? Any idea Kahny?

Back to President Trump. It seems he was next seen running through the halls of the Capitol. He was dressed like Rambo and shooting an M-16 haphazardly screaming “where’s AOC’s office, I want to date her.” Little did President Trump know, but AOC was nowhere near her office hiding under her desk as she originally claimed. Her whole story was later debunked. Possibly her head was foggy as she had a bartending gig the night before, and had to close. Once again the President got away before he could be contained. This witness is reportedly Liz Cheney’s secretary.

The Worst Account Yet!

Well, during all this pandemonium the President was spotted once more. It seems he now was wearing a giant MAGA hat and was carrying a noose and some bleach. He was screaming at the top of his lungs, “that this is MAGA country.” Oh, the humanity.

This unnamed source said this witness was actually Jussie Smollett. It seems he had taken a wrong turn and got lost while going out for a sandwich again. I mean what are the chances Kahny? That the identical racist attacks would be perpetuated against the honorable Jussie, twice? I mean the odds are astronomical. He should start to use door dash or grub hub, for his sandwich runs to avoid this happening again.

Where is the News Coverage of Brandon?

Now I’m starting to understand why President Trump is plastered all over your front pages, and not Brandon. I mean who can cast doubt on any of these witnesses. Hopefully you will give them the same over the top notch coverage that you are giving the the highly moral and reputable Cassidy Hutchinson.

Don’t let the radical right drag you down Kahny. How soon they forget about Russian collusion and the Steele Dossier. On second thought, maybe we should forget that one Kahny, seeing as though that dossier was bought and paid for by Hillary (aka, the beast). Hey, do you think Hillary may have paid off Cassidy, from contributions to her charity organization (wink, wink), the Clinton Foundation? Oh, that Killery, that scamp!

So Kahny, we have to go into overdrive with this fairytale INSURRECTION coverage. I mean Bidenflation’s approval rating is in the mid 30’s. I understand Jimmy Carter recently sent him a thank you card, for assuming the spot of worst President of all time. All in 18 months…..quite the accomplishment.

Better Call Pelosi

I understand Joey wants to get to his beach estate in Rehobeth Beach as soon as possible. It seems he has entered a soapbox derby with the other neighborhood kids. Joey’s car has been fitted with training wheels due to recent bike riding mishaps. Well, they are planning to introduce all the contestants on a stage before hand and there is this 11 year old neighborhood kid that always gives Joey problems at these events. Joey tried to have him banned by saying he participated in the INSURRECTION! Sadly, this didn’t pan out.

But the always innovative Brandon knew just what to do. He called up Chardonnay and said he needed some help. So ole Chardonnay sharpened up her elbows, hopped on her broom and headed to the beach (with some flying monkeys as escorts). We are told Big Paulie broke out of Betty Ford when he heard the news, and was heading out to a ladies night at a local tavern (by himself of course…..wink, wink). Hopefully, he or she calls Uber this time. Well when she got there, she lined up with the other kids and Beijing Biden. Then at the just the right moment, she pointed behind the crowd and screamed, “look, it’s President Trump with an axe!” When the crowd looked away ole Chardonnay drove her elbow into into the 11 year olds neck (Joey’s nemesis), driving him off the stage.

When video of the incident made the news, Chardonnay’s staff said she was trying to get the child in the picture. As the child was being loaded into the ambulance, Chardonnay and Brandon were seen eating waffle cones. Reportedly the child will be wheelchair bound for life. Brandon later blamed this incident on President Trump, Putin and corporate greed.

Pravda at its Best

Well Joey Kahn, it’s time for you to get off the office floor, put your shoes on, and put down that China Communist Party coffee cup of yours, and get to work. Remember, we must get President Trump. To Hell with runaway inflation, violent crime out of control (evidently this is due to legal gun owners), the invasion of our country at the southern border, attack on fossil fuel companies by the Vegetable-in-Chief and more importantly….his handlers, moronic military decisions, encouraging harassment against Supreme Court Justices, ridiculous revolving door no bail policies, etc., etc. From all these disastrous policies we can only conclude one thing—President Trump is a racist! We must get Trump!

Neil Gorsuch Takes a Stand Against the Tyranny of Unaccountable, Rogue Bureaucracy

“The framers believed that a republic—a thing of the people—would be more likely to enact just laws than a regime administered by a ruling class of largely unaccountable ‘ministers.’”

Without a doubt, Neil Gorsuch is the most libertarian Supreme Court justice of my lifetime. He just proved his constitutional, limited government bona fides yet again with a powerful concurrence inveighing against the tyranny of unaccountable, rogue bureaucracy.

The case in question is West Virginia v. EPA, which was decided Thursday in a 6-3 ruling against the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) along the justices’ typical ideological lines.

At issue was the Obama-era Clean Power Plan, a 2015 regulatory scheme devised by the EPA. The plan sought to reinterpret a decades-old statute to discover new authority for the EPA to forcibly transition the energy sector so that new coal power plants could not be built.

The Clean Power Plan never actually went into effect as it was caught up in legal battles. Then, in 2019, the Trump administration sought to repeal the rule and was itself sued. So, it remained a live question: Could the EPA take unilateral action to restructure the energy industry without congressional approval?

The Supreme Court sought to answer this question in its decision. The majority, authored by Chief Justice John Roberts, ruled in favor of West Virginia and against the EPA, but did not go so far as to overturn long-held doctrines enabling wide bureaucratic discretion.

Gorsuch, for his part, wrote a concurrence perfectly explaining why rogue bureaucracy must be further reined in. (Full credit to the Brownstone Institute’s Jeffrey Tucker for first highlighting Gorsuch’s concurrence + quotes).

“Vesting federal legislative power in Congress [rather than bureaucrats],” Gorsuch writes, “is vital because the framers believed that a republic—a thing of the people—would be more likely to enact just laws than a regime administered by a ruling class of largely unaccountable ‘ministers.’”

But what about those, like dissenting Justice Elena Kagan, who say that federal bureaucrats need wide latitude because Congress is failing to, in their view, adequately address climate change?

“Admittedly, lawmaking under our Constitution can be difficult,” Gorsuch acknowledges. “But that is nothing particular to our time nor any accident.”

“The framers believed that the power to make new laws regulating private conduct was a grave one that could, if not properly checked, pose a serious threat to individual liberty….” he said. “As a result, the framers deliberately sought to make lawmaking difficult by insisting that two houses of Congress must agree to any new law and the President must concur or a legislative supermajority must override his veto.”

With an empowered, unelected bureaucracy, “agencies could churn out new laws more or less at whim,” Gorsuch adds. “Intrusions on liberty would not be difficult and rare, but easy and profuse.”

This isn’t hypothetical speculation—it’s exactly what we’ve seen under the status quo.

For a glaring example, just consider the Centers for Disease Control’s pandemic-era “eviction moratorium.” The federal agency unilaterally declared that evictions nationwide were prohibited in many circumstances by citing an old statute that gave the CDC director the ability to order in specific places “such measures to prevent such spread of the diseases as he/she deems reasonably necessary, including inspection, fumigation, disinfection, sanitation, pest extermination, and destruction of animals or articles believed to be sources of infection.”

They went from that to a nationwide “eviction moratorium.” Stretch, much?

That’s right: Unelected government officials effectively commandeered the nation’s rental market, which caused tremendous dysfunction, trampled over property rights, and sabotaged the supply of rental housing. (For which prices are now surging. Shocker!) And, it was years before the courts finally stopped them and struck down the “moratorium.”

The stakes of this issue are high.

Most Americans might not realize it, but the federal government is actually the biggest employer in the US. Yup: more people work for the feds than any private company. The scope of the administrative state is genuinely hard to grasp.

Tucker describes the administrative state as “the effective governing apparatus of the US,” and a “vast and permanent bureaucracy of 432 agencies and 2.9M bureaucrats who are unreachable by any standard of personnel management.”

He’s exactly right.

The federal government’s vast bureaucracy continues to grow and exercise more power over our daily lives. But the average American has no say in what they do, no recourse if their decisions harm us. At least with Congress or the president, as deeply flawed as they may be, they’re ultimately accountable to voters every 2, 4, or 6 years.

If we want to preserve our freedoms and protect our prosperity over the long run, we need to follow Neil Gorsuch’s lead and rein in the administrative state—before it’s too late.

Elizabeth Frawley Bagley was recently nominated by the Biden Administration to be our next ambassador to Brazil. Then someone – clearly not a member of the Biden State Department – looked into her recorded remarks and was most disturbed to discover that in the past, Bagley in an interview had complained about “Jewish money” and its influence on American political life. She also said that moving the American Embassy to Israel was “stupid.” Word spread; she was questioned about those remarks by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and when the vote on her nomination came up, it was a 11-11 tie, insufficient to permit her nomination to go forward. The Biden administration’s pick for ambassador to Brazil was blocked by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee after a party line 11-11 vote on Thursday, with Republicans on the committee uniting to oppose her.

Nominated for the position in January, the ascension of longtime diplomat and Democratic donor Elizabeth Frawley Bagley appeared uncontroversial until the Washington Free Beacon reported an interview with Bagley from 1998. In the interview, she said that money was the reason American lawmakers support Israel and the idea of moving the US embassy to Jerusalem was “stupid”. The article galvanized Republican opposition to her nomination.

According to the Free Beacon, Bagley’s statements were from an interview for an oral history project at the Association for Diplomatic Studies and Training, where questions from the interviewer prompted her to speak on the effects Israel advocacy supposedly has on American politics.

“There is always the influence of the Jewish lobby because there is major money involved,” Bagley said about the Clinton administration. “But I don’t remember any major issues coming out on that, besides the usual ‘make Jerusalem the capital of Israel,’ which is always an issue in the campaign.”…

“Bagley characterized the interview as a free flowing conversation and said that she regretted her “poor choice of words.”

“I’m very sorry about that choice of words and none of them reflect any of my thinking then or now,” she said.…

“I’m very sorry that we ever had the interview. [It] didn’t really make sense to do. It was an oral history. But it certainly does not reflect my views on Jewish Americans or Cuban Americans or anyone else,” Bagley said. “I absolutely, strongly support the right of Jewish Americans, Cuban Americans, Irish Americans, all Americans to be part of the political process, to be politically active, to raise money, give money to those that they support, as I have done myself.”

Don’t be silly. Of course those remarks reflect your views. Had they not done so, you might yourself have brought them to the attention of the committee, owned up to having said them, and explained that you now deplore them. Instead, you hoped they would stay hidden. You see that you were wrong. And it is only now, when caught out, that Ms. Bagley claimed that those interview answers “do not reflect my [current] views.” I don’t believe her.

Before the vote on Thursday, the Republican Jewish Coalition called on the Biden administration to withdraw Bagley’s nomination or, if it does not, for the senators to reject her nomination.

What is wrong with the Biden Administration? Why couldn’t they have done due diligence, and found out what some reporter for the Washington Free Beacon found out? And once that new information had been revealed, why didn’t they withdraw her nomination before the vote was taken? Was it because Elizabeth Bagley has been a major contributor to the Democratic Party, just like her late husband, Smith Bagley, heir to the R.J. Reynolds tobacco fortune, and the Bidenites weren’t going to abandon such a deep-pocketed donor over some antisemitic remark? And Elizabeth Bagley has rich and powerful friends, in the same Georgetown-and-Nantucket set of limousine liberals, or salon Bolsheviks, the people whom Wikipedia demurely describes as “philanthropists.” Amusing, isn’t it, that here we have Bagley, who owes her diplomatic career, including what would have been her ambassadorship to Brazil, not to merit, but to the amount of money she and her husband contributed to the Democrats, , raising the issue of “money” — that is, “Jewish money” which for some reason is particularly to be deplored — in politics.

There are only two possibilities to explain why the Biden Administration decided to nominate Bagley and to stick with her, even when her disqualifying remarks were made public. The first, that they simply didn’t do their due diligence. They failed to look into Bagley’s past remarks, didn’t care enough to find out what in her past might have been worrisome. She was a deep-pocketed contributor to the Democratic Party, and her husband had been not only a contributor himself but a Democratic fundraiser for decades. The second, that they knew perfectly well about Bagley’s antisemitic remark — “There is always the influence of the Jewish lobby because there is major money involved” — but it didn’t bother them. And even after Democratic Senators, including Robert Menendez and Ben Cardin, both on the Foreign Relations Committee, had grilled her, and deplored her statement, the Biden people still applied pressure on all eleven Democratic Senators, including Cardin and Menendez, so that they swallowed their reservations and voted for her anyway.

Ms. Bagley’s disgraceful, antisemitic comments are absolutely disqualifying; her outrageous slurs include suggesting the ‘Jewish lobby’ influences elected officials with ‘major money’ – an age-old antisemitic stereotype,” RJC Executive Director Matt Brooks wrote in a news release. “It is sad and troubling that this isn’t the first time the Biden administration has put forward a nominee who is hostile to Israel and the Jewish people.”

Morton Klein, the national president of the Zionist Organization of America, said that his organization was deeply concerned about the nomination of another person apparently hostile to Jews by the Biden administration and praised the committee members for voting against her nomination.

The vote came down to 11 for the Bagley nomination, all of them Democrats, to 11 against, all of them Republicans. In the end, the Democrats on the Foreign Relations Committee succumbed to the Administration’s pressure, and decided unanimously not to vote against someone who had been so generous to the Party in the past and, if they voted right this time, even if those votes would not be enough to get her nomination out of the committee, would no doubt continue to be as generous in the future. Bagley’s nomination, and the Democrats’ vote to confirm, were both “all about the Benjamins.”

As we pause to celebrate our freedoms this July 4th, I believe our Forefathers would be appalled at how the gift of this exceptional Nation they sacrificed and fought for has so radically changed from what they presented. They would, however, recognize a fighting remnant developed to expose the corruption and far-reaching tyranny that has become the norm. Our founders would further recognize the ferocious assault on America’s freedoms has diabolical dimensions, and a great spiritual conflict is raging across the Land. The church at-large is silent, Christians across the country are weak and unprepared to stand against such growing darkness, but a fighting remnant is developing. I believe our nation was founded by God with a special calling, and the original settlers and colonists, for the very most part, knew in their hearts that they were to live in submission (cooperation) to God, not walk blindly to the call of government. We were to truly become “one nation under God.” I further believe we are in such serious trouble because we have forgotten this covenant; in fact we have become even cynical about it, and we, as a people, have thrown away our Christian heritage.

Democratic New York Gov. Kathy Hochul on Friday urged the Biden administration to consider opening up military bases for abortions to women living in states that heavily restrict the procedure, ABC News reported.

Since military bases are considered federal lands, Hochul argued in a virtual meeting with President Joe Biden that federal law would allow them to override state bans, according to ABC. Her suggestion heeds widespread outcries from  Democratic politicians about loss of women’s rights following the Supreme Court’s decision on June 24 overturning Roe V. Wade.

“Veterans hospitals, military bases and other places where the federal government controls the jurisdiction in some of the states that are hostile to women’s rights” could “make sure that those services can be available to other women” not publicly employed, Hochul said, according to ABC.

Democratic Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham of New Mexico, also in the meeting, floated the idea of using Indian Health Service clinics and tribal territory, where state law does not govern, as alternatives to private abortion facilities, ABC reported.

Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren stated that the U.S. government should plant abortion facilities on the outskirts of national parks on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” Sunday and in a Washington Post interview Monday.

Health and Human Services secretary Xavier Becerra said Tuesday that “every option is on the table” regarding abortion access, but the agency would “have a conversation with the president to make sure we implement his directives”

The White House, while agreeing with the Democratic leaders on the supposed need for comprehensive reproductive healthcare availability for all, said on Tuesday putting abortion centers on government-owned property could have “dangerous ramifications.”

Currently, however, federal facilities, including military bases, can only perform abortions in the case of rape, incest or where the life of the mother is in danger due to the Hyde Amendment, which prevents taxpayer dollars from funding elective abortions.

The House Appropriations Committee approved amendments to the fiscal year 2023 funding bill Thursday that would repeal the Hyde Amendment, allowing federal medical centers to perform abortions to the degree Congress decides, according to a press release.

“The bill eliminates the Hyde and Weldon amendments, a long-standing discriminatory policy that denied low-income women their legal right to an abortion,” the bill summary stated.

Hochul’s office and the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies did not respond to The Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

A video of Brian Deese, a political adviser serving under President Joe Biden, speaking about the “liberal world order” in the context of gas prices has racked up 1.4 million views on Twitter.

While in Madrid for the NATO summit on Thursday, Biden was asked by a reporter: “How long is it fair to expect American drivers and drivers around the world to pay that premium for this war?” in reference to Russia’s war in Ukraine, which Biden has blamed in part for rising U.S. gas prices.

Biden said: “As long as it takes” and stressed that Russia could not be permitted to win the war.

Deese, who is the director of the National Economic Council, was being interviewed Thursday by CNN’s Victor Blackwell, who referenced Biden’s comments when asking what he would say to American families who can’t afford to pay gas prices such as $4.85 a gallon for the months or years it takes the Russia-Ukraine war to end.

CNN: “What do you say to those families that say, ‘listen, we can’t afford to pay $4.85 a gallon for months, if not years?’”

“Well, what you heard from the president today was a clear articulation of the stakes,” Deese said. “​​This is about the future of the liberal world order and we have to stand firm. But at the same time, what I would say to that family and Americans across the country is you have a president and an administration that is going to do everything in its power to blunt those price increases and bring those prices down.”

The Biden administration has been facing heavy pressure to combat U.S. inflation, which hit a 40-year high in May and has elevated costs for products like gas, food and clothing. Though Biden has partly attributed rising costs to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, a Newsweek fact check determined that while the conflict has impacted inflation, it was not the trigger.

According to World101, an online course from the Council on Foreign Relations think tank, the “liberal world order” refers to a “series of international organizations and agreements to promote global cooperation on issues including security, trade, health, and monetary policy.” It was created by world leaders in the wake of World War II in an effort to prevent the world from devolving into such violence again, and the U.S. has “championed” the system since, according to the explainer.

A local Arizona Democratic Party deleted a tweet promoting an event called “F–k the Fourth.”

The event, which the now-deleted tweet said was being hosted by the Tucson Women’s March, was promoted by the Pima County Democratic Party on Twitter.

“F–k the Fourth. See you at Reid Park,” the tweet stated.

“Bring comfortable shoes, water, lawn chairs, posters, and your anger,” the event description reads.

After Fox News Digital reached out for comment, the Pima County Democratic Party deleted the tweet.

In a follow-up tweet thread, the Pima County Democratic Party said that posting the graphic was a “mistake,” but said it still supports the “F–k the 4th” event.

“PCDP posted a graphic advertising a women’s march which, we agree, was in poor taste. We were eager to share the event, and in our haste we used the graphic provided by the event organizer. That was a mistake, and we will do better,” the Pima County Democratic Party tweeted. “Make no mistake, however. We support the event which will be on July 4 at 7 pm at Reid Park. The event was organized to help women in our community grieve for the loss of their bodily autonomy, which we consider an elemental right.”

They also said that while the graphic “upset some people,” the outrage should be saved for “the women in this state who will die of botched abortions.”

“Our posting of the graphic upset some people. We urge you to save your outrage for the women in this state who will die of botched abortions. Arizona is not a good place to be a woman right now,” the group said.

The Tucson Women’s March has posted multiple retweets of other users tweets with the hashtag “#F–kthefourth.”

“This July4th won’t be the same, it will be a solemn occasion. We have lost rights,” one retweet states.

“I will not celebrate a country that doesn’t recognize my rights to my own body,” states another.
