Single Payer: The Left Never Quits, So Neither Can We

I know the Left never quits, but this is ridiculous.

The Left has been pursuing its dream of controlling the people through healthcare for more than a century.  Those chasing the dream in Vermont had a rude awakening a few years ago when the Democrat Governor killed a single payer proposal after realizing it would bring payroll taxes to 25 percent to pay for it.  But now they’re back, pushing a bill that would phase in single payer in Vermont over ten years.  Apparently, it’s the boil-the-frog-slowly theory – hoping people won’t notice a huge tax increase if taxes are raised a little at a time as the state takes over more pieces of the healthcare system.

Meanwhile, a single payer healthcare bill in California died last month after its main sponsor pulled it from the floor for lack of votes.  Even Democrats don’t all agree single payer is a good idea.  The bill would have cost $400 billion a year, doubling California’s budget. It would have turned everything upside down even though only a tiny fraction of California residents are without insurance or public healthcare assistance.  But you can bet the radical nurses associations and other Leftists will try to bring single payer back next year.

Leftists are still chasing the dream of single payer at the federal level, as well.  The socialist sympathizer Pramila Jayapal is back with another single payer bill which has 120 co-sponsors in the House.  But if they can’t get the whole enchilada at once, salami-slicing their way to single payer will do.  Super-sizing Obamacare subsidies is just the first slice.  To paraphrase a Tibetan proverb, beware of salami offered on a sharp knife.

Public option insurance, now in its second year in Washington state, is another slice.  But it’s not going so great, there.  Enrollment is nothing to write home about. Advocates are already talking about forcing hospitals to participate because hospitals won’t voluntarily join public provider networks on their own.  Other states planning public option insurance are looking at this and building coercion into their plans right from the start.  America, land of the free – unless you’re a hospital, I guess.

A single payer bill being considered in New York would raise taxes to unprecedented levels.  The bill would spread the misery around through hikes in payroll taxes, income taxes, and capital gains taxes which would more than double the state’s already stratospheric tax take.  The bill would hit self-employed people especially hard.  Careful what you wish for. High state tax rates means wealth will pick up and move to another state.  Just ask Maryland which tried to institute a millionaire’s tax some years ago.

Meanwhile, more town are virtue-signaling their support for single payer.  The most recent town resolutions are pending in Ft. Collins  where the Democratic Socialists of America are involved, and Cleveland Heights.  Gotta hand it to the Left.  Pretty clever to get politicians to vote for something their town will never have to pay for. Great way to make it look like the idea is gaining momentum.

The Left has also taken the fight for single payer to the AMA, the membership of which narrowly defeated a support proposal in 2019, encouraging supporters to try again. It’s a certainty the fight’s not over there yet, given that the AMA has recently gone Woke, urging doctors to recognize their minority patients as “oppressed” and “historically marginalized”.

There are lots of reasons to oppose single payer.  In my most recent commentary on this subject [1/14/22], I talked about how healthcare will become totally politicized and doled out the way Washington wants, not the way you want and you won’t have any options left.  Today, I’ve mentioned tax hikes in single payer proposals in Vermont, California, and New York.  The CBO found a year ago financing federal single payer could double income tax rates, or worse.  It found more recently single payer could cut GDP by 10 percent if you take away the assumption it could be financed by cutting the federal budget in other places.  It’s not likely you could ever cut the budget enough in other places to pay for single payer.  That leaves destructive tax hikes as the most likely outcome if the Left succeeds.

The Left never quits, so we must keep fighting.  Remember, single payer is not about healthcare.  Relatively few people are without insurance, government healthcare assistance, or the means to pay for it themselves.  This means the fight is about controlling the people through their healthcare, not about healthcare itself, just like the congressman let slip during the Obamacare fight.  The Left makes single payer sound so sweet, but what it really means is the Left’s complete domination over the rest of us.  It comes down to this: Do you want to keep your freedom or not?

Under President Biden, geopolitical tensions with Russia and China have risen, while America lost face in the Afghan debacle.

51 percent of Americans believe the world is less stable since President Biden took office, according to a TIPP poll conducted for the Center for Security Policy.

The survey, conducted in early March, asked “Generally speaking, since President Biden took office is the world…” 24 percent of respondents said that the world was more stable, 18 percent said there had been no significant change, and 7 percent were not sure.

There was a sharp difference along party lines: 22 percent of Democrats, 88 percent of Republicans, and 53 percent of independents believe the world is less secure.

Russia’s Invasion Of Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine on February 24 – the largest military conflict in Europe since World War II –undoubtedly impacted Americans’ perception of world stability. While the President is not responsible for many of the factors that contribute to global instability, only about one-third of the country gave Biden good grades for his handling of Russia.

A recent TIPP poll showed that 56 percent blame Biden’s Afghan debacle for emboldening Putin to invade Ukraine. Another poll, conducted by the Harvard Center for American Political Studies (Caps)-Harris, found that 62 percent of those surveyed believed Putin would not have invaded Ukraine if former President Donald Trump was still in office.

Biden’s Handling Of Russia

In late 2021, the Biden administration began warning about a build-up of Russian troops on the Ukrainian border. The administration provided extensive detail about the intelligence, raising eyebrows among national security experts as intelligence agencies typically go to great lengths to avoid revealing sources and methods.

Despite that, Biden repeatedly said the U.S. would not send troops – not even to evacuate Americans in Ukraine because it would be “world war.” In fact, Biden removed U.S. troops training Ukrainian fighters days before the invasion to avoid the possibility of U.S.-Russian military interaction.

Biden went to great lengths to tell Putin that the United States did not want a war with Russia – which was precisely what Putin wanted to hear. Putin invaded Ukraine without the risk of a U.S. military response.

Despite strong rhetoric, Biden’s actions since the invasion have been similarly weak-kneed. The European Union announced sanctions against Putin personally and agreed to cut Russian banks out of the SWIFT financial system before the Biden administration announced they would do the same. Sanctions did not include energy exports – which account for 36 percent of Russia’s total budget – until March 8, and only after the U.K. announced they would phase out Russian energy.

Furthermore, the administration has subcontracted negotiation of the Iran nuclear deal to Russia. The details of the agreement with Iran have not been made public, raising bipartisan concerns in Congress. Russia has already used its positions in the negotiations to its advantage by halting discussions until the U.S. agreed it would not sanction Russian nuclear projects in Iran – which will amount to a multi-billion dollar payout for Moscow.

Unfortunately, President Biden’s refusal to act decisively against Putin will be noticed by other dictators around the world and until that changes, Americans can expect more global instability.

I had just finished serving our great nation in Afghanistan when I decided to take a vacation with my two childhood friends in Europe during 2015. We were traveling on a Paris-bound train when a terrorist armed with a gun, a jar of gasoline, and 270 rounds of ammunition attempted to take over our train.

As a soldier, I was trained to take out a terrorist threat – As an American, I was taught to stand up for freedom no matter where I was in the world. Which is why I, my friends and other brave travelers took the action needed to stop this terrorist.

For this, the President awarded me the United States Army’s Soldier’s Medal, and the events of that fateful day were later retold in the film The 15:17 to Paris, directed by Clint Eastwood.

But I didn’t do what I did to receive recognition – I did it out of duty. And now, duty is calling me again.

Under questioning from Senator Marsha Blackburn from Tennessee, Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson said she could not define what a woman is because she (Ketanji Jackson) is not a biologist. This was among the most revealing of some of her muddled answers.

This was obvious pandering to the Transgender Lobby and is disqualifying on a number of levels.

She will have cases pertaining to this social controversy and she already is prejudiced herself. We cannot afford to have such a confused brain sitting on the Supreme Court.

Likewise disqualifying is the cowardice displayed, in that she could have answered the question as a reasonable person would, but chose to be evasive because she either thinks the question is very complicated or she is more a politician with her finger in the wind than a judge. Both positions are disqualifying.

She also pandered to the credentialed crowd and the idiotic notion that one has to have a degree to think. We have to possess a degree in biology now to know the difference between a man and a woman? Good grief, humans had that figured out long before universities were formed and degrees granted. They had to have known the difference or all of us wouldn’t be here!

So now a stallion has to have a degree in biology to recognize a mare? A degree as a veterinarian is necessary to recognize a dog? A degree in geology is necessary to identify a rock? A degree in law is necessary to know this candidate is not worthy of a seat on the Supreme Court?

What condescending drivel!

Since the case of Rachel Dolezal, a white woman who “identified” as being black and became the head of the Seattle area NAACP a few years back, some felt a person’s race can be changed by mere declaration or affirmation. Interestingly, the NAACP was not among those that felt that way as they fired her promptly.

Senator Elizabeth Warren at least did not “identify” as a Native American, she simply lied about her family background in order to advance her academic and political career. She may have actually believed her family stories about the origins of high cheekbones.

Those positions are less breathtaking than the idea that sex can be “changed” by a simple declaration. Progressives seem to believe this can be done, while Conservatives generally believe that one’s sex is biological and genetic makeup, is not a function of self-declaration.

The genetic difference between one white female and one black female is very slight.  But the difference between a man and a woman is much greater.  But in neither case can one’s internal identification and later public declaration change the facts of sexual organs, the hormones they produce, and DNA.

But thanks to “Gender Studies” at universities, we find ourselves as a society questioning our own sanity.

If I declare that I now identify as Peter Pan, does that mean I can fly? Does it mean I can remain a child for the rest of my life? This is fairy tale stuff, not reality. Need proof?  Let our newly identified Peter Pan jump off a building and see if gravity cares one wit about personal identification.

Thus, if a person’s self-declaration of what they are determines their sex, how would being a biologist help? If anything, a biologist would be confused because the physical evidence and DNA could conflict with the declaration of the person being examined. As a biologist, you are not trained to weigh psychotic statements any better than the rest of us. So, why does Judge Brown even make that argument?

Joe Biden says he wants to appoint a black woman to the Supreme Court. This should not be the criteria for such an important appointment, but Biden has made his political calculations and made his choice based on the idea that he can find a black female for the job. How can that be done if the President is unable to define what both a black and a woman are? Moreover, if he is able to determine what a black woman is, but his candidate for the Supreme Court cannot, what does that tell you about the process? Perhaps the President is a biologist?

Either the President is terribly wrong or the judicial nominee is mistaken. You can’t have it both ways.

It is time, well past time, for both women and men to stand up and say to the transgendered advocates that your declarations or affirmations do not change reality. It is not prejudiced in any form to resist being sucked into another person’s mental illness. Delusional behavior is bad enough on the individual level, without elevating it to the societal level. None of us are under any moral or ethical requirement to join in this dangerous fiction. Rather, we have a moral and ethical obligation to resist it.

Our position should be as follows: We are sorry for your sexual confusion and we hope you get help. But your psychosis is damaging to the rest of us, our families, our children, and we will not accept as fact your emotional outbursts, no matter how sincerely felt.  You may do what you wish with your own life, but we will not change our laws, customs, and manners, just to accommodate your psychosis.

The transgendered have the rights to be treated as a human beings and be free of violence and coercion. But we also have the right not to share their mental illness. We also have the right to be free of violence and coercion from the transgendered. Seen any videos lately of campus behavior among this crowd?

If one cannot determine what a woman is even for the purposes of sport, how is this inability going to influence the functioning of the law?

We have Title 9 and other laws creating opportunities for women in sport and education. But if women cannot be identified, then how do these benefits get allocated?

What the heck does “women’s rights” even mean, if there is no ready way to know what a woman is?

Equal pay for men and women?  How could you possibly know how to apply such a concept if you cannot determine who is male and who is female?

Sexual harassment of women? How can one harass something that does not exist, except in the mind of whomever? Only biologists can know it would seem and thus be guilty or not.

Generally, women get benefits from marriage and justified or not, get additional economic support in divorce, and usually child custody. Well, how can that be accomplished if you don’t know the difference between the man and the woman?

If a Federal judge cannot define what is a man or a woman, how are the rest of us supposed to enforce those employment and family laws that apply particularly to either men or women?

So, do today’s feminists have any idea how damaging this embracing of transgenderism is to their cause?

On an even more prosaic level, if a Federal judge cannot define what is a man or a woman, how are we supposed to describe a criminal to the police if we cannot either determine their sex or race? Kind of hard to provide a description, would it not? We could not know unless we interviewed the perp and got to know how they identified.

If it is impossible to know the difference between a man and a woman, who will be eligible for the draft, should that be needed again?

Besides her inability to answer a simple question, it would appear the candidate selected by President Biden is very soft on crime, particularly sexual crimes involving children, and very much has bought into the sexual insanity in vogue at universities. On other matters, she seems to side with criminals embracing the fashionable left-wing notions that society is at fault and thus, no one is really a criminal.

Our Senators should vote NO on her nomination.

Republicans will no doubt waver, afraid as always, they might in any way confirm the racist calumny Democrats have hung on them.

This really has nothing to do with the race of the candidate. This is a clear-cut case of poor judicial judgment, activism, and temperament.

If there is one thing you can say about the Russians it is that they stick to their proven playbook no matter what carnage they inflict on the innocents or how greatly they deceive the gullible.

During the height of the Cold War, they sought to stop America’s introduction of sophisticated weapons that would have blunted any planned invasion of Western Europe by the Red Army by infiltrating the “peace movement” with money and resources.

So it should come as no surprise that members of Congress continue to express deep concern that Putin’s Russia may be preventing the West’s energy independence by promoting through third parties, who may be unwilling dupes or active co-conspirators, “green” alternatives that are either impractical, aspirational, or an outright fiction.

It has been reported that Russia has been using a legal loophole to actively fund opponents of American energy independence, by funneling untraceable money through an entity in Bermuda, a nation that does require disclosure as to whether funds originated from a foreign government.

The loophole has apparently been serving as an open invitation for Russia — in particular its largest oil and gas company, Gazprom — to channel unlimited, unaccountable millions in dark money (anonymous donations) to American non-governmental organizations; these then fund “green” programs that discourage “dirty” energy exploration, and encourage the use of “clean” energy, such as solar panels and wind turbines. Unfortunately, even if they were able to meet all energy needs — which is disputed — they are not widely available or ready for use.

Such a strategy would not only be consistent with past Soviet/Russian practices but would be expected by a Putin whose long game of chess seeks to hold the West hostage by becoming the major supplier of natural gas to Europe at a time when his operatives have helped shut down viable energy alternatives. So as Putin seeks to decapitate Ukraine, he knows that one source of income for his war machine remains the natural gas that nations such as Germany must have in order to survive economically.

Not surprisingly, the Biden administration’s seemingly inept energy policy has played directly into Putin’s hands. Americans, from the first day of the Biden administration, have been devastated by skyrocketing inflation. The most dramatic example is at the gas pump. In just one year, the price of gasoline — $2.17 a gallon in 2020 — has doubled, with no signs of slowing.

How did we get here?

To appease the Progressive wing of his party, Biden, within days of his inauguration, began shutting down virtually America’s entire energy independence and oil and gas exploration industry, and is still freezing future oil-and-gas drilling leases. The move not only threw thousands of Americans out of work, it has also forced Americans to pay premium prices for just about everything in the American economy — whatever is processed, manufactured, or transported — all of which require fossil fuel energy. Wind turbines and solar panels do not truck supplies to your supermarket, or even build the electric vehicles — costing more than $56,000 a car — that the Biden administration wants you to buy. If you cannot afford $5-a-gallon gasoline, hey, an electric vehicle is your answer! Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg’s questionable suggestion was, “Take the bus.” The current administration policy seems to be, “Let them eat electric vehicles.”

Some members of Congress understand that this kind of response is more than ludicrous. Buying oil from Russia, Iran, and Venezuela is basically counterproductive. Given the nature of potential threats, it would make America a vassal state.

Congressmen Jim Banks and Bill Johnson have sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, asking for an investigation into the reported Russian manipulation of American “green groups” that are seemingly funded with “dark money.” The letter was following up on an earlier letter sent by Representatives Lamar Smith and Randy Weber to then Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin in 2017. Their letter notes:

“According to Sea Change’s tax filing, in 2010 the group received $23 million, half of its total annual contributions, from a Bahamian shell corporation tied to the Russian government. Sea Change then passed that money to groups like the Sierra Club and the Center for American Progress who lobbied strongly against fracking and pro-energy policies, to reduce competition with Russian oil and gas. In 2020, the Center for American Progress donated over $800,000 exclusively to Democrat politicians and groups’ and Sierra Club Independent Action spent $3.7 million supporting Democrat candidates.

“Russia also used its state media and social medial disinformation campaigns to attack America’s energy industry. Russia Today is especially focused on energy policy. According to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Russia Today’s coverage ‘is likely reflective of the Russian Government’s concern about the impact of fracking and US natural gas production on the global energy market and the potential challenges to Gazprom’s profitability.’ In 2021, after Biden’s first year in office, Gazprom, a Russian state-owned energy company, earned record profits.”

The paper trail is chilling and as clear a warning as one could ask for. Yet, as of this writing, it is not clear if Yellen has replied.

Recognizing the one strategic card the Russians have to play, the late U.S. Senator John McCain once said “Russia is a gas station masquerading as a country.”

In whatever private moments Putin may allow himself, he knows that Russia’s energy exports are the one truly genuine weapon he has against the West, democracy, and the forces of history that are coming for him. If he can prevent affordable energy independence from being achieved by America and her allies, he will have secured a victory beyond measure. But he will need the duped assistance of those in the White House to achieve that objective.

American Elites Have Deep Ties To A New Chinese Spy Chief

The new deputy head of a propaganda and espionage agency in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) has documented ties with business tycoons, university heads, and other elite members of American society.

Chen Xu, former party secretary of one of the PRC’s most prestigious universities, Tsinghua, was promoted to deputy head of the United Front Work Department (UFWD), according to an updated leadership roster on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) portal, which was first reported in Chinese media on Feb. 28.

The Department of State described the operations of the UFWD as including “the use or threat of physical violence, theft and release of private information, espionage, sabotage, or malicious interference in domestic political affairs, academic freedom, personal privacy, or business activity” in a 2020 press statement.

The general secretary of the CCP, Xi Jinping, labeled the UFWD a “magic weapon” for “realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation” in a 2014 speech celebrating the 65th anniversary of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), a state organ which oversees the UFWD.

Recently, Beijing’s espionage operations have garnered increased scrutiny in the U.S. following the FBI’s charging of five individuals with “transnational repression schemes” on Mar. 16, crimes which allegedly included the targeting of a Congressional candidate.

The Justice Department’s announcement comes just two months after MI5 named a London solicitor, Christine Ching Kui Lee, as an alleged UFWD operative acting to financially influence British politicians in a January “security service interference alert” issued to the House of Commons.

Republican Rep. Michael McCaul of Texas, who is the lead of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs and chair of the group’s China Task Force, spoke with the Daily Caller News Foundation about the dangers of associating with CCP, UFWD, and CPPCC members.

“The Justice Department’s indictments this week are yet another wakeup call that the CCP is actively reaching into American society and trying to limit our freedoms,” McCaul said, making reference to the FBI’s Wednesday press conference as evidence of the looming espionage threat. “Years of law enforcement activity, including this week, clearly show that this transnational repression can raise to the level of criminal activity, and Americans should be aware when they are dealing with entities who carry out the CCP’s objectives abroad.” (RELATED: DOJ Kills The China Initiative, Kowtowing To A Chinese-American Group With Documented CCP Ties)

The UFWD’s new deputy, Chen, has spent years cultivating relationships with U.S. politicians, leaders in the Chinese-American community, student associations, and other high-profile individuals, such as the billionaire CEO of The Blackstone Group, Stephen Schwarzman.

Schwarzman’s connections to individuals tied to the CCP began years before meeting Chen at Tsinghua University.

Schwarzman began traveling to China in 1990, but by 2007, when his global investment business, Blackstone, opened its second Asia-Pacific office in Hong Kong, Schwarzman had already begun keeping regular company with figures directly and indirectly associated with the CCP, such as Antony Leung.

Before heading up Blackstone’s Hong Kong office, Leung was employed as the financial secretary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. In that capacity, Leung reported to the Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Tung Chee-hwa, a man linked to PRC influence operations across America and someone the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission reports is “clearly associated with the United Front.”

Mao Zedong’s right-hand man, Zhou Enlai, was the first person appointed to the position of vice-chairman of the CPPCC, a title Tung now holds.

Schwarzman credits Tung’s subordinate, Leung, with the lion’s share of Blackstone’s success in the PRC.

Schwarzman said it was Leung who was by his side when he first met with Xi Jinping during the future president’s short stint as party secretary of Shanghai in 2007, and it was Leung who helped arrange for $3 billion in funding for Blackstone’s June 2007 IPO from China Investment Corp (CIC), a sovereign wealth fund created by the CCP.

“When we were going public in 2007, we were planning a $4 billion IPO, and the government of China came in and asked can we buy $3 billion of the $4 billion IPO?” Schwarzman told The Economic Times in 2020. “This was sort of a shock because I have not been to China since 1990 and nobody buys three-quarters of an IPO.”

“So, what we did is, we just increased it to $7 billion and we became the world’s second-largest IPO of the decade after Google,” Schwarzman told The Economic Times. “As a result of this, it was for the first time China had bought an equity interest in a public company outside of China since modern China was established in 1949.”

After going public, Blackstone’s first earnings report arrived in August 2007, showing the firm’s profits had tripled over a year.

The Tsinghua Clique

Schwarzman also credits Leung with helping him set up the 2013 deal for Schwarzman Scholars, a one-year English-language international program at Tsinghua University which required $300 million in fundraising. 

As a one-party government, the political power to control the PRC has historically been fought over by competing intra-party “cliques,” of which there are known to be at least three: the Shanghai Clique, the Communist Youth League Clique and the Tsinghua Clique, which Xi is said to lead.

Chen Xu was promoted to party secretary of Tsinghua University in December 2013 and thereafter became an important and frequent point of contact for Schwarzman time and time and time again.

As Tsinghua’s party secretary, Chen held an important position for both the university and the CCP, with Tsinghua serving as both a fertile training ground for domestic and international talent, as well as a capable vehicle for projecting the PRC’s soft power.

According to her station, Chen was expected to promote the interests of both her university, as well as the CCP, which more often than not were indistinguishable.

When Xi arranged for President Vladimir Putin to receive an honorary doctorate degree from Tsinghua University in 2019, it was Chen who “presided over the ceremony and read out the address of honor,” welcoming the Russian dictator into the “Tsinghua family,” according to a Chinese state-run media Global Times report. (RELATED: Below Their Lines: American Corporations Cancel Russia But Remain Silent On Uyghur Genocide)

Schwarzman Scholars

When the opening convocation for Schwarzman Scholars was held, the Great Hall of the People — Beijing’s prime CCP venue for “state affairs and diplomatic activities” — was selected to host the event in April 2013.

From its inception, Schwarzman Scholars attracted high-level CPPCC and UFWD attention.

David Daokui Li, a member of the CPPCC of which Tung was the vice chairman, was appointed in 2013 as the dean of Schwarzman Scholars. Among other things, Li would chair a seminar for the program’s admissions attended by CCP cadre from the UFWD, Communist Youth League and central committee, while Tung himself sat on the advisory board for the program.

Schwarzman sat beside the CCP’s highest-ranking female, Liu Yandong — the vice premier and former head of both the UFWD and Confucius Institute project — during the program’s opening convocation in April, then again in November 2013 when Liu visited Washington D.C., and again in 2016 when the program began its first semester.

“The Schwarzman Scholars program is extremely fortunate to have the support from China’s top leadership, exemplified by the gracious congratulatory letter from President Xi Jinping and by the unwavering support of Vice Premier Liu Yandong,” said Tsinghua University President Chen Jining in April 2014.

Liu reappeared in Schwarzman’s life again and again, with Schwarzman labeling Liu a “special friend” in the acknowledgment section of his 2019 book “What It Takes: Lessons in the Pursuit of Excellence.”

Schwarzman also thanked many other “friends and colleagues in the Chinese government” in his book, such as “President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang, Vice President Wang Qishan” and high-ranking influence operatives, such as Sun Chunlan, another vice premier and former head of the UFWD, with whom Schwarzman Scholars engaged at least once or twice.

Chen was also thanked in the acknowledgment section of Schwarzman’s book.

“Party Secretary Madame Chen Xu at Tsinghua has also been an essential part of the senior leadership who created the opportunity for Schwarzman Scholars to occupy a unique position at the university,” reads Schwarzman’s acknowledgment. “She and President Qiu have helped create broad support for the program within the Chinese government. I always enjoy meeting with her and President Qiu on my frequent visits to Beijing.”

While Chen and Tung worked off and on together over the years, Schwarzman and Tung also continued to stay in touch.

As honorary chairman of the China General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC) — characterized as a type of UFWD front organization in a 2018 Jamestown Foundation report — Tung often appeared at the body’s annual galas in New York, including with Schwarzman in 2017 and the following year.

On stage during the 2018 gala, Tung praised Schwarzman for “his remarkable and impactful contributions to a constructive and cooperative China-U.S. relationship,” before personally presenting the billionaire with the “Goodwill Ambassador for China-U.S. Exchange” award.

While Schwarzman Scholars did not immediately respond to request for comment, a spokesperson for Blackstone told the DCNF: “The insinuations are false and misleading. ‘The UFWD And CPPCC Are Not Benign Entities’

Not long after helping establish Schwarzman Scholars, Schwarzman’s partner, Leung, left Blackstone in November 2013.

Today, the senior managing director of greater China for Blackstone is a man named Liping Zhang, another member of the CPPCC.

The addition of Schwarzman Scholars to Tsinghua was no less than a watershed moment for the university, coinciding with a sharp spike in the institution’s international prestige, an event which also dovetailed with Xi Jinping’s rise, offering Chen unprecedented access to a surplus of global elite and ample opportunity to advance her personal, professional, and political interests.

“The UFWD and CPPCC are not benign entities,” Rep. McCaul told the DCNF. “They are elements of the CCP charged with carrying out political subversion. Americans should be aware of their own exposure to the CCP, which is distinct from ordinary foreign ties.”

“Whether it’s spreading CCP propaganda, exporting sensitive technology to China, or lobbying for United Front groups, there are many activities that benefit the CCP that are legal in the United States — at least for now,” said McCaul. “As we saw with the passage of the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, which banned the importation of Uyghur slave labor goods, things can change fast as the CCP threat comes into focus. Even in areas where federal intervention isn’t appropriate, cooperation with the CCP is carrying increasing reputational, financial, and moral costs as Americans better understand our adversary.”

Lithium is often dubbed as “white gold” for the development of electric vehicles.

The cost of lithium needed to make electric car batteries is up 472% just in the past 12 months and 850% since Biden took office.

Biden, Harris, Buttigieg and Democrats want America to go all green and want to force Americans to drive only “clean cars” powered by lithium batteries. All electric vehicles (EVs) are now in the crosshairs. Having charging stations is not the issue. The issue is what will be the future cost of owning “clean cars”?

The The Biden-⁠Harris Electric Vehicle Charging Action Plan states,

President Biden has united automakers and autoworkers to drive American leadership forward on clean cars, and he set an ambitious target of 50% of electric vehicle (EV) sale shares in the U.S. by 2030. Now, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will supercharge America’s efforts to lead the electric future, Building a Better America where we can strengthen domestic supply chains, outcompete the world, and make electric cars cheaper for working families.

There’s only one problem with the Biden-Harris EV action plan, the market and the price for lithium has sky-rocketed.

In the March 22, 2022 edition of the Independent Journal Review Warner Todd Huston reported,

One of the key ingredients in the battery packs that power EVs is lithium. This mineral is important in the production of glass, aluminum products and batteries of all sorts, especially for electric cars.

According to Mining.com, battery-grade lithium carbonate is up 95 percent thus far in 2022, and a whopping 472 percent over the course of the past 12 months.

As the soaring prices of lithium and other minerals needed to manufacture EVs soar, the costs of battery packs for EVs are seeing pressure. Already the battery pack is one of the most expensive parts of an electric vehicle, with prices ranging from $10,000 to $25,000 to replace them — and that does not include labor.

Today, three countries—Australia, Chile, and China—mine roughly 86% of the world’s lithium.

It appears from this chart that the United States produces little of the key ingredient to make Biden’s all electric dream come true. But Communist China, the third-largest lithium producer, has been on the front foot in the race for lithium.

Visual Capitalist reported, “Since 2018, Chinese companies have snapped up over $5 billion worth of lithium mining projects in various countries. Furthermore, the country also dominates the refining and battery manufacturing stages of the lithium-ion supply chain.”

Biden’s Dream has Become a Nightmare

Lithium batteries do not make energy. Batteries do not make electricity – they store electricity produced elsewhere, primarily by coal, uranium, natural gas-powered plants, or diesel-fueled generators.

To say an EV is a zero-emission vehicle is not at all valid.

To manufacture each EV auto battery, you must process 25,000 pounds of brine for the lithium, 30,000 pounds of ore for the cobalt, 5,000 pounds of ore for the nickel, and 25,000 pounds of ore for copper.

Incredibly one must dig up 500,000 pounds of the earth’s crust for just – one – battery.

According to senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute Mark P. Mills,

Hydrocarbons supply over 80 percent of world energy: If all that were in the form of oil, the barrels would line up from Washington, D.C., to Los Angeles, and that entire line would grow by the height of the Washington Monument every week.

Mills also notes,

A 100x growth in the number of electric vehicles to 400 million on the roads by 2040 would displace five percent of global oil demand.

It costs less than $0.50 to store a barrel of oil, or its equivalent in natural gas, but it costs $200 to store the equivalent energy of a barrel of oil in batteries.

About 60 pounds of batteries are needed to store the energy equivalent of one pound of hydrocarbons.

The Bottom Line

Biden’s “clean car” plan is a myth. Clean cars and green energy from solar and windmills cannot and will not make America carbon neutral or energy independent.

As we wrote,

According to the EPA, in order to reduce greenhouse gas pollution by 50-52% we must: stop using all fossil fuels, stop making cement, stop transporting coal, natural gas and oil, stop growing crops and raising cattle, pigs, chickens, etc., stop industrial activities, stop treating waste water and finally end all industrial processes.

Sixty-eight percent of the world’s cobalt used to make EVs, a significant part of a battery, comes from the Congo. Their mines have no pollution controls, and they employ children who die from handling this toxic material. Should we factor in these diseased kids as part of the cost of driving an electric car?

The truth is that mankind cannot become carbon neutral without hurting mankind itself.

Biden’s dream is a myth that kills.

Don’t forget that China dominates global battery production with its grid 70 percent coal-fueled.

EVs using Chinese batteries will create more carbon-dioxide than saved by replacing oil-burning engines.

P.S.  Don’t forget that CO2 and carbon are not the same.  Carbon is the incredibly versatile element, that as Carl Sagan pointed out years ago, “likes to combine.”  You’re made of it.  Carbon dioxide is what you get when a carbon molecule combines with two molecules of oxygen.  CO2 is the odorless, invisible gas you just exhaled.

An thus ends this lesson on Biden’s clean cars folly.

He explained how an American-led PYSOP campaign perfected during the 2014 Ukrainian coup is being used on Americans, particularly against Trump supporters.

His text message was curious, to say the least.

But then I started to look into things, a lot of things.

While I was researching the 2014 Ukrainian coup, another strange thing happened.

YouTube suddenly banned Oliver Stone’s 2016 “Ukraine on Fire,” a documentary about that Ukrainian coup (popularly known as EuroMaidan).

Well, when YouTube bans something, we should immediately see sparks of a cover-up. But when YouTube bans a documentary made by a liberal filmmaker, we should see lightning bolts.

Under cross-examination, Judge Jackson has signaled that she has not merely a problematic judicial philosophy, but a radical ideological agenda. Her mask has slipped revealing: an admirer of the subversive Maoist divide-and-conquer strategy known as Critical Race Theory; a slavish devotee of leftist identity politics; and a reflexive advocate for even the most odious of criminals, namely terrorists and child sex offenders.

Some Republican Senators previously voted to put her on an appellate court bench. They are now on notice that she would not only be a hard leftist justice. It is predictable that, if confirmed, she will radicalize what is today a minority of the Court, but possibly a future majority.

It’s amazing how fast I’m back to this subject.  But the stories about crazy leftists keep piling up.

This week, a Disney actor called Senator Tom Cotton an ‘f***ing white slaver piece of s***’ for Cotton’s questioning of Ketanji Brown Jackson. So much for civil discourse.

AOC recently blamed oil companies for the kidnapping, rape, and murder of Native American women across the U.S.   Wild accusations are easy to make; now let’s see you prove them.  Did you know that watching AOC on TV causes tooth decay?

A Democrat congressman from New Jersey said people who talk about parental rights are just the crazy fringe, want to ban books, seeking power, support gun violence, and a distraction from fighting climate change. He forgot ‘racists’ and ‘white supremacists’, but that’s OK, they were filled in by a leftist sex education guru who advocates ‘porn literacy’ for children.  Johnny and Jane can’t read, but they sure know how to gawk at pictures, thanks to people like him.

Racists and white supremacists, huh?  Only being able to see your opponents as cartoon characters and caricatures is what you get for believing your own propaganda.  That’s why Kamala Harris can’t tell the difference between Republicans wanting voter ID laws today and the state troopers who attacked black protesters in Selma in the 1960s. And Pramila Jayapal thinks voter ID requirements are the same as Putin invading Ukraine.  How crazy is that?

Nancy Pelosi claimed Joe Biden has reduced the national debt by a trillion dollars.  Actually, the debt has gone up two-and-a-half trillion dollars since Biden took office.  Not being able to accurately perceive reality is a sign of mental illness.  When they put her in the loony bin, Pete Buttigieg will be in the padded cell next to her. He claims increased government spending reduces the national debt.  How does that work?

Another leftist with no grasp of economic realities is Rashida Tlaib who thinks there is no real inflation, it’s just the evil corporations jacking up prices and extorting people.  Gee, why didn’t the evil corporations think of that BEFORE Joe Biden became President?

Did you know that freedom is just a white thing?  That’s according to an editorial in the Washington Post which claimed the Canadian truckers were just white supremacists and their belief in freedom is “a key component of White supremacy.”  So the slaves didn’t want to be free? I wonder what Frederick Douglass and Booker T. Washington would have thought about that?  So much for the huddled masses yearning to breathe free. I’m going to start a national campaign to paint the Statue of Liberty white because only white people want to be free.

Then there’s the abortion crowd who are going completely bonkers at the prospect of Roe v. Wade being overturned.  They’re now claiming that all babies who might be born in poverty should be killed in abortions even though their parents might win the lottery the next day.  They also claim killing babies in abortions is pro-child.  That’s how warped these people have become.  Don’t expect any rational thinking out of them any time soon.

Unhinged leftists would be amusing, if they weren’t so violent. A teacher in Texas said conservative Christians all need to get COVID and die. A CNN analyst was so mad at the Canadian truckers, she urged people to slash their tires and empty their gas tanks.  Another Disney miscreant, ESPN, celebrated a cop-killer character in an HBO show.

If you’re having violent thoughts like these, I suggest you seek professional help – you are going off the rails.  And, if you find yourself in sympathy with any of the crazy Leftists I’ve discussed here today, stop and ask yourself:  Why would you want to hang around with these people?  They’re nuts.

Open letter to Dean Baquet

Good day Deano,

I hope today finds you well at your desk, as the Executive Editor of the iconic New York Times.  It seems your tabloid itself has been very much in the news as of late. Those radical right wingers are at it again, questioning your tabloid’s veracity and dedication to journalistic integrity—the nerve Deano!  Well let’s put together some facts and let the public judge for themselves, shall we old sport?

Hunter’s Laptop

Well is seems Joey Robinette’s prodigal son, Hunter (former energy expert, now famous artist), is back in the news again.  When will these right wing lunatics stop their relentless assault on the Biden crime family, um, I mean Biden family?  I thought that we had solved the issue of Hunter’s laptop during the Presidential installation of 2020.

Remember Deano—when about a month before the installation, the New York Post reported that Hunter’s laptop was discovered in a Delaware repair shop, with some very incriminating emails on it.  This was verified, in part by interviewing recipients of emails, from said laptop.  Some of the evidence even pointed to the angelic, morally uncompromised, Joey Robinette (aka, the Big Guy, Mr. 10%).

The New York Times to the Rescue

Thank goodness, a legitimate trustworthy news outlet such as The NY Times was able to squash this hyped-up propaganda immediately.  I believe the ‘go to’ battle cry at the time was, “Russian disinformation.”   Together with the aid of such other credible stalwart outlets like: CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, The Washington Post—as well as social media icons Twitter and Facebook, you were able to slam that door shut.  In addition, we had unbiased celebrities and talk show hosts; and of course with credible political powerhouses like Chardonnay Pelosi and Adam Schiff, we were able to silence this vile propaganda.   Of course, let’s not forget those 50 “intelligence officials,” who concurred wholeheartedly.  The FBI too, who has had said laptop in their possession for years now.  Calm down Conservatives, the Gestapo, I mean FBI have their hands full, you know, investigating Joey’s daughter’s diary.   These investigations take time unless of course……….. it involves the “insurrection”.  Then the FBI perform with lightning fast efficiency.  Conservatives see it a very different way Deano, let’s look at it from their viewpoint.

“The news that is fit to print”………..Sometimes!

Conservatives point out that you, Dean Baquet, recently ran an article in The Old Gray Lady in regards to this matter.  It seems now, 17 months after that original story ran, you are NOW corroborating this New York Post article.  Even in this article, you waited until the 24th paragraph to mention these facts (must have been an oversight by your editing department).  Have you taken leave of your senses, Deano old boy?  Have you drank the proverbial right wing Kool-Aid?  Why the admission of this evidence now?

Conservatives say that there is no reason to withhold the truth anymore.  No reason to omit, lie, or censor factual information— the mentally addled, corrupt puppet Joey Talibiden has been installed.  That it was a concerted effort by tabloids such as yours, that omitted or better yet, “fact-checked,” these incriminating emails.  They refer to you and your ilk as journalistic disgraces, who long ago sold your souls and integrity to become a political arm/hack of the Democratic/Progressive Party.  They add, this combined with your blatantly deceitful arrogance and hubris, has done irreparable harm to the core of honest, unbiased journalism. With your printing or omission of your vile, fictional tripe, I say bravo, Deano!

Mission Accomplished

So, I guess you ruffled a few Conservative feathers Deano.  I’m with you buddy, the end justifies the means, as far as I’m concerned.  The main objective of course, was to block elected President Trump from being legitimately re-elected; partly, by hiding any incriminating criminal evidence against the Houseplant-in-Chief, and his corrupt family. So what if some fraud had to be committed to secure the vote……no harm, no foul, right Deano?  So what if you had to run a little interference (many say, a lot), to get the job done.  It’s all good.  President Trump is a racist!

I understand there is another train of thought here champ.  A few unnamed sources (WAPO trick I picked up), feel Joey Bidenflation has worn out his welcome with his puppet masters.  You know, those behind the scenes, who are hard at work destroying this great country while using the Vegetable-in-Chief as a mouthpiece – a very bad one at that, they add.  They are saying, he is in the process of being Cuomo’d.

From what I understand, these powers that be are not happy with little Joey’s, in-the-toilet poll numbers, and his never ending slew of screw-ups.  Sources say, Deano, your admission to the authenticity of Hunter’s (famous artist) laptop, is proof that Joey may be being set up to step down.  Of course, I know your honesty and professionalism are pure as the driven snow, but the timing does seem a bit peculiar champ, I mean 17 MONTHS?

Moral Compass Gone Astray Deano?

Unnamed source’s say Conservatives want to know how you push out this blatant partisan nonsense, day in and day out.  They are curious how people like you, or the Minister of Propaganda, Jen Goebbels Psaki do this everyday and then go home to your families?

They wonder if you guys teach the golden rule at home for you children: tell the truth, be responsible for your actions, own up to your mistakes, treat others the way you would like to be treated?  Do you then, turn that switch off in your heads once you get in the car and head out to work?  Or do you teach your kids to lie, deflect, and connive from the time they start to talk?   Do Peppermint Patti Psaki’s kids run to the door when Mom comes home and ask, “what lies did you tell today Mommy?”  It takes a certain type of person to pull that off……..you should be proud!  President Trump is a racist!

Andy’s Back!

I see Andy boy may be throwing his hat in the political ring again.  He shouldn’t let all those nursing home deaths and sexual harassment issues get in the way. As Andy said, “what can I say, I’m Italian.”  Word is he will be handing out cannoli’s at polling places. I see Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli, reported that ole Andy severely under reported the number of nursing home deaths.  Funny though Deano, people were screaming for these numbers for months while Andy was still governor, and Tommy D. remained silent. Then Andy starts hinting he may venture back into politics and …………voila, Tommy had those numbers likkity split.  Remarkable!  Who says Tommy DiNapoli isn’t on the up and up!

NATO Summit

It is good to see our fearless leader Joey Talibiden, heading overseas to meet with NATO leaders. I’m sure he will be setting policy and showing who is in charge over there. In the meantime, it is nice to see the other world leaders leading Joey around by the arm—pointing in the direction of the bathroom—wiping the spittle off his chin after his juice box and mac and cheese lunch, and waiting with him until “Dr.” Jill picks him up.

Reportedly, Heels Up Harris was originally supposed to be representing us over there in Brussels.  I was shocked that she was shelved, seeing as she did so well last time she was abroad.  When asked to comment on this Kalamity said, “we have to go, in order to go, I will go, to go where they go, we have to make sure we go, ultimately we will go, in order to go. Thank you, no more questions.”

Senator Ted Cruz questioned Biden’s SCOTUS nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson (KBJ) about her seat on the Board of Directors of Georgetown Day School (GDS), a private school in Washington, D.C.

Georgetown Day School teaches its students Critical Race Theory (CRT) and has CRT not only in the school’s curriculum but multiple books in its library on CRT.

On the Georgetown Day School’s Welcome page you will  find this statement:

Nearly 75 years ago, Georgetown Day School was founded as the first integrated school in Washington, DC, and our School’s longstanding commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion are grounded in that history.

When you go to the GDS’ Our Philosophy page you find this statement:

GDS graduates leave the School with a love of learning, an abhorrence of bigotry and intolerance, a broadly rounded fund of knowledge, the ability to enter the great conversations of life, and the willingness and capacity to bring needed change to a troubled world.

Sitting on the board of directors of GDS then KBJ must know about the purpose and philosophy of the school.

Note that KBJ says that the board of directors doesn’t approve the curriculum. However, the board of directors certainly approves GDS’ mission and philosophy statements.

Senator Marsha Blackburn also pointed out that the school teaches its children that they,

“can choose their own gender and teaches them about so-called White privilege.”

The Three Great Myths of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

On June 25, 2021, Biden signed an Executive Order on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility in the Federal Workforce. According to a White House fact-sheet, the Executive Order, among other items:

  • “Establishes a government-wide initiative to advance diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in all parts of the Federal workforce. 
  • charges all Federal agencies with reviewing within 100 days whether employees who are members of underserved communities face barriers to employment, promotion, or professional development within their workforce.
  • Directs agencies to seek opportunities to establish or elevate Chief Diversity Officers within their organizations.
  • Expands diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility training throughout the Federal workforce.
  • Directs agencies to ensure that the Federal health benefits system equitably serves LGBTQ+ employees and their dependents by expanding access to comprehensive gender-affirming health care.”

This single action created a massive bureaucracy to push the three myths of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Surely Ketanji Brown Jackson knows about the Biden Executive Order and at some point may have to rule a case about these myths.

The Declaration of Independence, written by Thomas Jefferson, reads:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

What Jefferson, and the founding fathers, understood that while men are created equal by God, once born they, via nature and nurture, become different not equal. Some are stronger, have a higher IQ, are more prone to success, have families, have children and grandchildren and have hopes and dreams for the future.

It doesn’t matter what the color of ones skin is, what matters in the long run is the content of ones character. Sadly Georgetown Day School isn’t teaching this to its students.

However, Jefferson understood that the role of government was to protect and defend our individual rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. If government fails to protect these rights then the Declaration of Independence demands:

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

Perhaps the three greatest and most “persistent, persuasive and unrealistic” myths are diversity, equity and inclusion. These myths have taken the idea of “equal justice under the law” and turned it on its collectivist head. These myths threaten “abuses and usurpations” and are leading America toward “absolute despotism.”

These myths are race based and by definition racist policies.

Those who promote “diversity, equity and inclusion” want these myth for some but not for all Americans.

These three myths have become the rallying cry for the Biden administration, the Democrat Party, Black Lives Matter, Antifa, social media, the legacy media and Hollywood. Anyone who doesn’t support any or all of these myths is labeled a right wing radical, homophobic, Islamophobic, racist, white supremacist and domestic terrorist.

The Bottom Line

In an The National Interest article Adam Milstein, James Jay Carafano and Elan S. Carr wrote:

A recent Heritage Foundation study found strong anti-Israel bias in the social media posts of “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” (DEI) officials at colleges and universities throughout the United States. These officials criticize Israel far more frequently and far more severely than they do China. Their posts about Israel exceed those mentioning China by a factor of three, and almost all of their statements about Israel express condemnation, whereas nearly two-thirds of their comments on China convey praise.

These disturbing findings should surprise no one. U.S. campuses have become hotbeds of hostility toward the state of Israel as well as toward the idea of American exceptionalism, and in the radical religion of the campus, far-left professors are the priests and DEI officers are the choir.

America was founded as the new Israel. Our Founding Fathers believed in the power of the God of Abraham and said so in both the Declaration of Independence and in the U.S. Constitution and in the First Amendment there to.

On February 14th, 2022 The Daily Conservative reported:

A private school in Rhode Island has excluded white children from an event, allowing only those who “identify as a student of color or multiracial” to attend.

The Wheeler School in Providence, Rhode Island, excluded white students from attending the guest speaker event.

“In a February 7, 2022, email to sixth, seventh, and eighth graders, the school invited only non-white students to attend a ‘Students of Color affinity group’ speaking event with actress and author Karyn Parsons, who is best known for her role as Hilary Banks in NBC’s The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” reports Breitbart News.

Diversity, equity and inclusion are anti-American, un-America and anti-Semitic myths designed to separate us, make us unequal and shut some out of the political, cultural, legal and social systems.

Remember all men are created equal but after that it is up to them to do what is right, good and healthy.

During the National Prayer Breakfast of 1963, President John F. Kennedy said,

“Do not pray for easy lives. Pray to be stronger men.”

Finally, George Washington University associate professor Elisabeth Anker in a CBC Radio interview said,

“Freedom is a slippery concept…On the far right, [individual freedom] is often translated into somebody who refuses to be bound by norms of equality, treating all people equally or norms to remedy inequality, whether that’s trying to remedy racial discrimination or gender discrimination…Freedom is often used almost as a national entitlement, as a claim for what people have…It’s been taking a lot of people by surprise to see people in Canada, who often seem so much more accepting of social interdependence, to start pushing back against it with the language of individual freedom.

Yes, Elisabeth freedom is a national entitlement, equity is a myth. For you see,

Free people are not equal and equal people are not free.

And so ends this lesson on political mythology 2022 being taught to children who attend Georgetown Day School.

Jim Ashby — Learning to Walk Again

Ashby was forced to get a COVID-19 shot by December 3, 2021, or his employer would consider him “voluntarily resigned.” Eight days after receiving the Pfizer jab, he had a major hemorrhagic stroke.

He’s been in rehab since October 2021, suffering from complete paralysis on the left side of his body. He still has a long way to go in recovery, and still can’t feel or use his left arm or walk without assistance. His rehab is excruciatingly painful, he says, and he spends up to six hours a day learning how to walk again.

What’s worse, his employer isn’t covering the medical bills for the costs of this stroke. “My life has been totally changed, all because of the vaccine mandate … my old life is dead,” he says, “and I have started my new life as a paraplegic.”

Athletes Collapsing and Dying

Healthy athletes around the world are dying of heart attacks and strokes. The numbers are exploding, with athletes suffering neurological problems, too. What’s happened in the last six months to a year that’s different? Is there anything in common that’s changed that hooks all these athletes together? They all have had COVID-19 shots. Among them:

  • Abou Ali, 22-year-old football (soccer) player, who suffered from cardiac arrest in Denmark on September 11, 2021
  • Caddy Alberto Olguin collapsed and died from a heart attack on the golf course on October 9, 2021
  • 30-year-old Venezuelan marathon champion Alexaida Guedez, 30, died of a heart attack during a 5,000-meter race on August 22, 2021
  • Andrea Astolfi, 45, sports director of Calcio Orsago in Italy, died of a heart attack on September 11, 2021 after returning from training
  • Ava Azzopardi, 14, collapsed on a soccer field in the U.S. on October 15, 2021, suffering from cardiac arrest; she had to be put in a medically induced coma to survive

Dr. Neil Singh Dhalla, Died From Myocarditis

Dr. Neil Singh Dhalla fell asleep four days after he got a COVID-19 booster shot — and died from a heart attack. The autopsy stated myocarditis — inflammation of the heart muscle that’s a recognized adverse effect of mRNA COVID-19 shots.4 A CEO of a major health clinic, he was only 48 years old and had never had heart problems in his life.

Faith Ranson, 16-Year-Old Plagued by Convulsions and Tics

A happy, healthy 16-year-old girl in Australia who got the Pfizer COVID-19 shot is now crippled with convulsions, persistent nausea and visible tics. The problems began three days after her second shot and have been ongoing for months. Health officials actually admitted “there is no question Faith has had a delayed reaction to the second Pfizer vaccination” and is suffering adverse reactions from the shot. Her story even made it to mainstream news.

Nurse With COVID Told to Go Back to Work

In this video, a “triple vaxxed” nurse from New York explains how she tested positive for COVID-19, and her employer told her to come back to work even though she hadn’t been in quarantine for five days — against CDC recommendations.

Since she was asymptomatic, she was cleared to go to back to work in a health care setting, but told she still had to quarantine in all other aspects of her life. In short, she can go to work to care for patients while actively positive for COVID-19, but she can’t go to a grocery store or a gas station. Not to mention, her kids were quarantined for 10 days, but she was expected to go back to work in less than five.

Stroke-Like Symptoms in a Healthy Woman

Complaints of neurological problems and stroke-like reactions continue to pile up. Immediately after receiving the AstraZeneca COVID-19 shot, this previously healthy woman experienced headaches and dizziness and blacked out “a few times.”

Within days, she started experiencing numbness to the point that she couldn’t stand up. Eight days later, she’s in the hospital with loss of feeling in her left arm, left leg and face. She states that 19 women were brought in to her hospital ward with the same symptoms over the span of one weekend.

Two Teenage Boys Die From Myocarditis in Their Sleep

Epidemiologists have confirmed that two teenage boys from different U.S. states died in their sleep of myocarditis days after getting the Pfizer shot. Both had received second doses of the shot, and McCullough said that in his view, the shots led to the deaths of the teenagers. In a study that examined the autopsy findings, it’s reported that the “myocarditis” described in the boys’ deaths is “not typical myocarditis pathology”:5

“The myocardial injury seen in these post-vaccine hearts is different from typical myocarditis and has an appearance most closely resembling a catecholamine-mediated stress (toxic) cardiomyopathy. Understanding that these instances are different from typical myocarditis and that cytokine storm has a known feedback loop with catecholamines may help guide screening and therapy.”

59-Year-Old Woman Dies Hours After Shot

A 59-year-old front line health care worker in the U.K. took the COVID-19 shot and died a few hours later. In the video, her acquaintance states, “Now I know it’s a given the vaccine’s going to have some casualties — but people are threatened they are going to lose their jobs if they don’t take it … You have the right to take that risk, but you should have the right to refuse it as well — without jeopardizing your job or your freedom of entry or freedom from discrimination.”

Vaccine Advocate Nearly Goes Blind

The man in this video describes himself as a believer in “science” and a “vaccine advocate,” but this didn’t spare him from the shot’s adverse effects. Five days after his first Pfizer COVID-19 shot, he started having blurry vision in his left eye. Within three days, he had lost 60% of his vision in that eye.

After several medical examinations, doctors, optometrists and retina specialists diagnosed him with central serous retinopathy (CSR), in which a small vein ruptured, leading fluid to accumulate under the retina, causing retinal detachment and partial blindness.

Other cases of CSR have also been reported following COVID-19 shots, he says, and in a case report published in the American Journal of Ophthalmology it’s stated, “Acute CSR may be temporally associated with mRNA Covid-19 immunization.”6 The man’s doctor told him that the risk of getting additional COVID-19 shots outweighs the potential benefit for him and tried to help him get an official exemption from further shots, but it was denied. He states:

“I have been deprived of my human rights as a citizen … I try to gather all my strength so many times during the past few months to just go and receive my second dose in order to follow the laws.

But the fact that the science says there is an above-average chance that I may lose more of my sight has driven me to anxiety attacks, night terrors and disabling depression … This is a direct violation of my constitutional rights as a citizen and a human being.”

Young Woman Suffers From Seizures, Nearly Dies

Caution: This video contains language that may offend some people

Beginning her story by stressing she is NOT anti-vaccine or pro-conspiracy theory, this young woman describes what happened to her after she received a Moderna COVID-19 shot, which she decided to get so she and her husband could join some friends on a cruise.

The day after the shot she started feeling “weird,” delirious and “disassociated from herself,” she says. Soon after, she blacked out in the bathroom, and when her husband tried to revive her, she began seizing. She had three seizures between the time her husband called 911 and when the ambulance got her to the hospital.

She was intubated and suffered other severe effects, she says. She spent days in the hospital and is now taking anti-seizure medication, while living with ongoing anxiety about her near-death experience, which she believes was caused by the shot. “Go out there and do your research so you can make an informed decision,” she says. “Because you don’t want to put something in your body that could potentially harm you.”

Project Veritas published a bombshell video this morning featuring Microsoft Corp legal documents that the Biden Administration’s Department of Justice has sought to keep secret. The documents reveal that the DOJ went behind a federal judge’s back to conceal secret warrants and orders that were used to spy on eight Project Veritas journalists.

After a U.S. District Court Judge rejected the DOJ’s argument to ignore Project Veritas’ “journalistic privileges,” the DOJ went behind the judge’s back to obtain an extension on two sealed non-disclosure orders from a magistrate judge to conceal the fact they already had unsupervised and unfettered access to Project Veritas’ journalists’ privileged emails and contacts.

Here are some of the highlights from today’s video:

  • Despite multiple opportunities to do so, the DOJ has not publicly disclosed the orders, warrants, or subpoenas to Judge Torres or Special Master Judge Barbara Jones – who was appointed by Judge Torres to protect Veritas’ “journalistic privileges” from potential DOJ overreach.
  • The DOJ has not sought Judge Jones’ approval to review Project Veritas’ materials seized from Microsoft. The documents uncover a sixteen-month clandestine campaign against journalists in which the DOJ obtained 7 secret orders, warrants and subpoenas from six magistrates within the Southern District of New York.
  • In a motion filed Tuesday, Paul Calli, an attorney for Project Veritas, fiercely opposed the actions from the DOJ which he called an act of “violence” to the First Amendment.
  • Based on preliminary research data, the SDNY appears to be in possession of nearly 150K documents they should not have. In addition to the emails, the SDNY obtained over one thousand contacts from journalists that they also failed to disclose to Judge Torres or to the Special Master.

In a blow to his political base, suburban America is abandoning President Joe Biden after giving him his 2020 victory over then-President Donald Trump. In new 2022 and 2024 election polling, Emerson College found that Trump leads Biden by a huge 47%-38% among suburban voters.

The shift is notable and worrisome for Democrats and Biden’s reelection campaign. After the 2020 election, the liberal Brookings Institution declared that suburbs won it for Biden and predicted that they would become the party’s backbone…….

Ketanji Brown Jackson: An Insult To Black Females

As the very proud friend and teacher of hundreds of Black females for numerous decades, I am appalled that the nominee for U.S. Supreme Court Justice has violated the most basic and precious norm of every Black female I have known – the ideal to protect children from harm.  Throughout America’s history, the Black female has sacrificed immeasurably to protect her own children and others as well. The Black female has no history of condoning child molesting or child pornography.

To nominate a Black female to a position of esteem and honor when she has consistently betrayed the honorable hallmark of her peers is an outrageous insult to the fellow females I so admire, who believe to the depths of their souls that sexualized and victimized children are not and never to be objects of adult pleasure and entertainment.

The fates of these children are death by murder, disability, depression, drugs, suicide, and sexual slavery.  Is their slavery any less hideous and heinous than the slavery this nation fought to abolish forevermore?

Children in chains, trapped and beaten, tortured to provide entertainment until their end. This is sexual slavery, which begins with child molesting and child pornography.  Is this slavery any less hideous and heinous than the slavery Harriet Tubman risked her courageous life to cease for all times?

The current U.S. Supreme Court nominee is the antithesis of my role model, Harriet Tubman, since my earliest years.

Whenever I have lunch or dinner with someone – especially with recent events — I ask a very straightforward question. “In your wildest dreams did you ever believe they would muck things up this bad, this fast?” I use more vivid language, but I am against using such language in a public forum so I will leave it to your imagination. Sit back and think about the question yourself and derive your own answer.

In a little over a year, the Biden Administration has opened our border to an estimated two million illegal aliens who have been spread throughout the country with very little hope of ever tracking them; shut down a significant amount of our home grown energy production by killing a major pipeline deal costing 3,900 full-time equivalent jobs and pausing oil production on all federal government land which is 25% of national production; taken sanctions off Nordstream 2 to continue the flow of Russian gas to Europe; had a radical withdrawal from Afghanistan that is roundly considered a disaster for the United States; engineered policies that lead to inflation levels not seen in over 40 years which caused a severe depression; and has the world involved in a war in Europe which is destroying a sovereign nation and killing hundreds, if not thousands, of innocent people. In addition, there is an explosion of crime throughout the country that Biden has not caused, but his party has, and he has done little to combat it.

But Biden has solutions. Real solutions.

One of the countermeasures to pressure the Russians to stop their war on Ukraine is to stop the import of Russian oil. Over the last seven months in 2021, we imported 670,000 barrels of oil daily from Russia. Though 73% of that was in process products, we could have easily replaced this production with one policy decision. Had Biden not stopped the Keystone pipeline, we would have a flow of 850,000 barrels a day from friendly neighbor Canada. Biden decided to tell our Canadian neighbor’s “tough luck” and we now have our adversarial supplier – Putin.

Telling the world that America is going to turn on the spigot, produce oil, and gas that will supply us and our allies what we need for energy independence would be a logical and effective solution. We are down an estimated million-plus barrel a day. A simple announcement clearing the regulations for that to occur would crash the price of oil as pricing is based on future expectations.

Uncle Joe has a better idea. Why don’t we engage the Venezuelans and the Iranians to replace the oil and gas from Russia? Nothing like replacing supplies from one murderous despot with two murderous despots. Biden tried to engage the Middle Eastern countries including Saudi Arabia, but they will not even talk to Biden because he is negotiating with the Iranians – who are hated by the Arab countries of the Middle East.

Biden reopened negotiations with Iran even while it was on the verge of collapse because American imposed sanctions decimated its cash supplies leaving it on the edge of bankruptcy. Not only is Biden at the table with Iran, but part of the negotiations is – you guessed it — the Russians. Do you think the Russians believe we really want to crush their invasion over here while negotiating with them over there? The Saudis are looking at turning to the Chinese since this American administration antagonizes them at every turn.

You just cannot make this stuff up. If your head is spinning, it is completely expected at this point.

Makes you thankful for small things. Thank God North Korea has a completely dysfunctional economy or Biden would be asking them for some help.

Biden also has a solution for inflation.

President Biden, the very definition of a career politician, tries to find others to blame for his own failings. He angrily states “I am sick of this stuff. We have to talk about it. The American people think the reason for inflation is the government spending more money. That is simply not true. Make no mistake, inflation is largely the fault of Putin. Democrats did not cause this problem. Vladimir Putin did.”

Uncle Joe is right. Adding more than $3 trillion into the economy with made-up money had nothing to do with inflation. Biden missed the class where supply and demand were explained. When there are more dollars chasing fewer products, that does not cause inflation – it is Putin. When people get free money and produce nothing that does not cause inflation – it is Putin. When the federal reserve injects additional money into the economy and holds interest at historically low rates, that does not cause inflation – it is Putin.

We have not even touched on the ridiculously lax border. That would take a whole other column.

Fourteen months into the Biden presidency and you come to your own conclusion. Did you ever in your wildest dreams think that he could muck this up so badly so quickly? We thought it might be bad. We can only pray for the next 34 months.

Justice Reporter Who Called Constitution ‘Trash’ Heads Up Dark Money Group Spending Millions To Support Jackson SCOTUS Nomination

A pundit who called the Constitution garbage is a leader of a dark money group funding a million dollar campaign to confirm President Joe Biden’s nominee to the Supreme Court, according to tax documents provided to the Daily Caller News Foundation by Americans for Public Trust.

Demand Justice seeks to nominate left-wing judges to American courts. Most recently, the group is pushing for the confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court.

Elie Mystal, who is listed as a director on a Demand Justice IRS application that was submitted in May, according to a document obtained by the DCNF, said in a March 4 appearance on ABC’s “The View,” that the U.S. Constitution “is kind of trash.”

Mystal made the comment in response to a question of whether he believed the Constitution is a “living document or is it a sacred document?”

The idea is also part of Mystal’s new book, “Allow Me to Retort: A Black Guy’s Guide to the Constitution.”

The day before his appearance on “The View,” Mystal suggested throwing out the Constitution for something “more inclusive.”

“You don’t need to be a legal scholar to understand your own rights. You don’t need to accept the ‘whites only’ theory of equality pushed by conservative judges. You can read this book to understand that the Constitution is trash, but doesn’t have to be,” the book’s publisher states on its website.

Mystal couldn’t be reached for comment.

It’s unclear how Demand Justice squares Mystal’s latest remarks about the Constitution with the organization’s push for Jackson’s confirmation to the high court. The organization did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

Before Biden took office, Demand Justice included Jackson on its “shortlist” for suggested nominees to the bench, and in February, the organization announced an initial $1 million campaign to fund an ad campaign supporting her nomination.

Demand Justice Initiative, a charity associated with the organization, told the IRS it will bring in $4,250,000 in 2022 that will go directly to Demand Justice.

Some Republicans in the Senate, including South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, have criticized Biden’s nominee for being too far left.

Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley has also criticized Jackson, specifically for her record on criminal justice issues, which includes when she represented Guantanamo Bay detainees.
