Americans Can’t Afford Gas, Congress Just Gave Itself a 21% Raise

By Jihad Watch

The $1.5 trillion omnibus bill has plenty of inflationary spending, and the honorable members of the legislature didn’t leave themselves out.

As part of the $1.5 trillion omnibus spending bill released Wednesday, the $5.9 billion fiscal 2022 Legislative Branch funding portion would substantially boost the office budgets of House members to pay staff more…

This legislation would provide $774.4 million for the Members Representational Allowance, known as the MRA, which funds the House office budgets for lawmakers, including staffer salaries. This $134.4 million, or 21 percent, boost over the previous fiscal year marks the largest increase in the MRA appropriation since it was authorized in 1996, according to a bill summary by the House Appropriations Committee. For paid interns in member and leadership offices, the House would get $18.2 million.

It’s not technically a pay hike for congressmembers, but, in particular House members, are notorious for putting family members on the payroll. And for using staffers to run their errands and handle assorted personal projects for them.

In August, Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced staffers’ salaries could exceed those of lawmakers. Members in both the House and Senate, with the exception of leadership, make an annual salary of $174,000. Staffers can make up to $199,300.

That’s convenient since it can act as a pay hike without the negative press.

MRAs tend to be between $1.2 and $1.4 million. A massive MRA increase has all sorts of political and potentially personal benefits. It’s also completely indefensible during an economic crisis.

House Dem leaders are cheering the disgusting pork sandwich as a victory for diversity.

House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05) and House Democratic Caucus Chair Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08), released the following statement this morning on the inclusion of a 21% increase in Member Representational Allowance (MRA) funding in the Fiscal Year 2022 Omnibus legislation.

Leader Hoyer and Chair Jeffries have long advocated for this increase to the MRA in order to ensure that Members, leaders, and committees can attract and retain the best and brightest to help them serve the American people while promoting a more diverse workforce.

Is there any obscenity that can’t be justified in the name of diversity?

“We join in thanking Chairwoman DeLauro and Ranking Member Granger as well as the Members on the Appropriation Committee for producing a bipartisan omnibus package that includes this increase in office budgets so that Congressional staff pay can be a priority and enhance this institution’s ability to deliver For the People.”

For the People.

Ask not what Congress can do for you, ask what you can do for Congress.

VIDEO: Stop Russian Gold? Sure! Create Global Economic Disaster

By Graham Ledger

The war in Ukraine is helping drive the price of oil through the roof, but the economic problems in the United States were created way before Putin’s personal, psychotic “manifest destiny” began to unfold. The Federal Reserve has painted the U.S. economy into a corner.

And now, Washington, D.C. wants to throw gasoline on the financial and fiscal fire by proffering the STOP RUSSIAN GOLD ACT. Insanity!

In this edition of the Ledger Report, Graham speaks with Peter Schiff about the economic mess, Barry Nussbaum about the Russian mess, and Michael Cutler about the mess at the border.

25 Republican Governors Call on Biden to Prioritize U.S. Oil and Gas Production

By Bethany Blankley

From oil rich North Dakota, U.S. senators introduce energy independence legislation

North Dakota can produce enough crude oil to offset dependence on Russian imports, but the Biden administration is prohibiting it from doing so, the state’s governor and U.S. senators argue.

North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum and 24 Republican governors have called on President Joe Biden to prioritize U.S. oil and gas production and restore American energy independence. They did so as crude oil hit $120 a barrel and is expected to surpass $200 a barrel, causing gas prices, and everything that depends on gasoline for transport, to skyrocket.

The market went into a correction on Monday, after the U.S. already entered into a 40-year inflationary high. Both are expected to push the U.S. toward a volatile recession.

This was totally avoidable, Burgum said.

“From the unsecured southern border to the underutilized oil fields of North Dakota, President Biden’s misguided policies continue to put U.S. citizens at risk and hold America back,” he said.

“The Biden administration has again failed to meet its obligation to hold a federal oil lease sale, [which] is further proof that this administration isn’t serious about U.S. energy security. The President needs to reverse his anti-oil policies and unleash American energy production to protect U.S. consumers and return our nation to a position where we can sell energy to our friends and allies instead of importing it from adversaries like Russia.”

The Biden administration argues that its restrictions on oil and gas production are necessary to combat climate change and that there are enough untapped permits for drilling on federal land that the industry could increase production if it wanted to.

North Dakota produces more than 1.13 million barrels of crude a day and 2,990,340 MCF (thousand cubic feet) of natural gas a day.

Crude oil production from North Dakota alone would easily offset the imports from Russia, the governor argues.

In Biden’s first year in office, he halted and restricted oil and gas leases on federal lands, stopped construction of the Keystone Pipeline, and redirected U.S. policy to import more oil from Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and Russia (OPEC+) instead of bolstering American oil and gas exploration and production.

While U.S. production on federal lands was stifled in 2021, the U.S. imported 8.47 million barrels per day of crude oil and refined products, of which 672,000 barrels per day (8%) came from Russia, according to the U.S. Energy Information Agency. The U.S. also imported 6.10 million barrels per day of crude oil, of which 199,000 barrels per day (3%) came from Russia.

The U.S. has been importing about 473,000 barrels per day of refined products from Russia, Andrew Lipow of Houston-based Lipow Oil Associates LLC, told The Center Square in an email. Of this, 354,000 barrels a day is unfished oils, which means they need to be upgraded in refineries in the U.S. – mostly on the Gulf Coast, because the Russian refineries aren’t unable to upgrade them.

The U.S. also imports 697,000 barrels a day of gasoline blendstocks, of which 50,000 barrels a day (7%) came from Russia, Lipow said. This mainly goes to states on the East Coast.

The U.S. also imports 287,000 barrels a day of distillate, of which 23,000 barrels a day (8%) come from Russia. This also mainly goes to states on the East Coast, he said.

The 25 governors in their joint statement to Biden called on him “to reverse his policies and restore America’s energy independence for our citizens as well as our allies abroad.

“By removing his bans on new oil and gas development on federal lands, building the Keystone XL pipeline, and reinstating regulatory reforms to streamline energy permitting, we can protect our national energy security and sell to our friends rather than buy from our enemies – specifically Russia.”

Governors from Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming signed the letter.

North Dakota’s two Republican U.S. senators, John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer, along with seven other cosponsors, also introduced the American Energy Independence from Russia Act in the U.S. Senate.

The bill would require the Biden administration to submit an energy independence plan to Congress within 30 days that provides an energy security evaluation and risk assessment, and plans to leverage America’s oil and gas resources.

It would authorize the construction and operation of the Keystone XL pipeline, which Biden shut down when he entered office, and remove regulatory hurdles to increase liquefied natural gas exports.

It also would prohibit any presidential moratoria on new federal leases and require the U.S. Department of Interior to hold a minimum of four oil and natural gas lease sales in fiscal year 2022 in each state that has federal land available for leasing. It also would prohibit the U.S. Energy Department Secretary from drawing down the Strategic Petroleum Reserve until the Secretary of the Interior issues a plan to increase oil and gas production on federal lands and waters.

America Can Loosen Europe’s Russian Energy Noose

By Larry Bell

Western Europe’s self-inflicted abandonment of its own energy resources resulting in dependence on Russian oil seems to generally follow Lenin’s playbook when he reportedly quipped that “capitalists will sell us the rope by which we hang them.”

The main editorial clarification to add here is that applies most directly to the crony capitalist green energy subsidy lobbies and their climate alarm enablers who build the scaffolds.

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine puts Vladimir Putin in a position to tighten that garrot around Western Europe — Germany in particular — using oil strangulation extortion to discourage their interference.

Germany, a dominant EU economic power, now depends on Russia for over half of its natural gas and a quarter of its oil imports.

Ironically, it isn’t as if the EU doesn’t have petroleum resources of their own … they have plenty. As recently as 15 years ago, their member countries produced more gas than Russia exported.

Also paradoxically, although Europe’s gas reserves are smaller than Russia’s, they may have as much technically recoverable shale gas as the U.S. which their governments won’t allow to be developed.

Plans by multinational energy companies, including Chevron, ExxonMobil, Shell, and TotalEnergies, to repeat the U.S. shale fracking boom were blocked by continentwide protests.

Former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen blamed Russia for fueling the fracking opposition. “Russia, as part of their sophisticated information and disinformation operations, engaged actively with so-called nongovernmental organizations — environmental organizations working against shale gas — to maintain dependence on imported Russian gas,” he noted in 2014.

Over the past decade, European oil and gas production has plunged by half, with Russia most pleased to fill the supply gap.

This is occurring at a time when Germany has sabotaged itself to become even more dependent on Russian gas by already shutting down three nuclear plants in December, with three more to be mothballed this year.

Simultaneously, coal plant shutdowns across Europe have left populations even more dependent on natural gas — including as backup for heavily subsidized intermittent solar and wind. Making matters even worse, a lag in wind production last summer has contributed to soaring gas prices as Europe now enters winter with little reserve storage.

Meanwhile, the global market lacks the capacity to make up for any eventual loss of Russian gas by substituting it with liquefied natural gas, or LNG, from the U.S. or the Middle East.

By killing nuclear and coal, while failing to develop its own technically recoverable massive shale gas resources, Germany, and the broader E.U., have legitimate reasons to worry that Russia will weaponize its energy life support supply leverage to advance its territorial agendas.

They did so before when Gazprom cut off Ukraine’s gas supply for 13 days during a 2009 dispute with painful effects extending to Poland and other European countries.

How and why did this occur?

With converging and compounding consequences, U.N.-promoted climate alarmism over fossil burning energy greenhouse gas emissions inexplicably prompted a plan hatched about 20 years ago by then-German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder to also phase out non-carbon emission nuclear energy over three decades.

It was also under Schröder’s term of office when Germany and Russia agreed to build a Nord Stream trans-Baltic Sea gas pipeline linking the two countries.

Then, following his electoral defeat to Angela Merkel, Schröder went on to chair the supervisory boards of both Nord Stream and the Russian giant state-controlled oil firm Rosneft.

Merkel, who succeeded Schröder in 2005, accelerated the process, with the country’s last nuclear-power plants due to go offline this year — a decade ahead of schedule.

Chancellor Merkel then subsequently teamed up with President Vladimir Putin to counter widespread opposition to Nord Stream 2, a second pipeline which is now completed running alongside the first one. If, and when licensed, it will double the Russian gas provided to Germany … making Berlin even more dependent on Moscow … doing so even after Gazprom had previously suspended pipeline exports to Ukraine.

Recognizing Russia’s opportunity to weaponize Germany’s vulnerable dependency, President Trump sanctioned the Gulf Stream 2 development, a policy that President Biden reversed upon taking office.

The Trump administration had also pressed Germany to build LNG import terminals to diversify its gas supply, as Poland, the Netherlands and Lithuania have done.

Whereas Poland and Lithuania now no longer rely on Russian gas because they can import supplies from as far away as Australia, the German LNG terminals became ensnarled in permitting delays, and one company last year decided to turn an LNG project into a “green hydrogen hub,” including an import terminal for ammonia and an electrolysis plant.

Then, most recently following Russia’s Ukraine invasion, both the new German government under Chancellor Olaf Scholz and the Biden White House belatedly put a hold on Nord Stream 2 licensing as well.

Germany and the U.S. also joined with other NATO countries in agreeing to end Russian access to SWIFT global interbank accounts … with the remarkable exception of those incredibly important ones involving Russian oil and gas transactions that will impact them as well.

The Biden administration has been directly complicit in this rolling self-inflicted disaster since Joe’s first day in the Oval Office when he inexplicably cancelled the U.S.- Canadian Keystone XL pipeline and, shortly thereafter, issued a moratorium on new oil and gas leases on federal land including Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) and in the Gulf of Mexico.

Over merely a year, the Biden White House and Democrat-controlled Congress has transformed President Trump’s America from not only being energy independent, but also a leading global exporter.

Consequential skyrocketing U.S. pump prices and plummeting poll numbers attributed in large part to Democrat anti-drilling policies have since incentivized President Biden to pathetically plead with OPEC and Russia to produce more oil.

Throughout 2021, the U.S. imported between 12 million and 26 million barrels of Russian oil monthly. There is now strong bi-partisan Congressional support to terminate such purchases altogether — even Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi supports such a ban — which is stalemated by far-left progressive elements that transparently control Joe Biden.

Current U.S. domestic and global energy starvation policies are insanely unnecessary and morally unconscionable. They will not benefit either the world’s climate or its inhabitants in any conceivable way.

America has the capacity to end Putin’s stranglehold weaponization of European oil and gas dependence and simultaneously fuel our own needs, economic prosperity, and influence in an increasingly dangerous world.

Let Ukraine be an instructive moment to bring this urgent realization home.

Putin, Russia, and Ukraine: Historical Roots of a Tragedy

By Sean McMeekin

When Vladimir Putin channeled history in his Feb. 21 speech justifying Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine, many Western critics dismissed his remarks as a pack of lies, the ravings of a delusional madman. But things are not always as simple as they seem. While many of the claims Putin made to justify his aggression are dubious, others are not, and it is worth unpacking those to better understand how we arrived at this terrible juncture.

To begin with, despite the long and varied history of Ukrainians as a people, Putin’s assertion that “modern Ukraine” was created by “Bolshevik-Communist Russia” is basically true, as are his aspersions against Vladimir Lenin as the main “creator and architect,” although Putin oddly left out Lenin’s German connections. It is an awkward fact that Lenin first came to the attention of the Central Powers in 1914, when he was agitating amongst Ukrainians in Poronin, near Cracow in what is now Poland but was then Austro-Hungarian territory. He was working for Ukrainian autonomy from the Tsarist empire, which was one of the reasons Germany financed and organized his return to Russia in 1917.

After the Bolsheviks seized power in November 1917, Lenin appealed to the German high command for a ceasefire and signed (along with Stalin, then commissar of nationalities) a declaration on the rights of the peoples of Russia to self-determination, inviting ethnic minorities, including Ukrainians, to declare independence, as the revolutionary parliament in Kiev/Kyiv or “Rada,” promptly did. The Rada then sent delegates to the peace talks at Brest-Litovsk, who negotiated with the Central Powers on behalf of Ukraine. By signing a peace treaty with the Rada on Feb. 9, 1918, Imperial Germany officially midwifed Ukraine into sovereign existence. Wittingly or unwittingly, Lenin had thus achieved both goals the Germans had in supporting him: ending Russia’s war and prying apart the Russian empire by giving up Ukraine. Small wonder Lenin was denounced as a “German spy,” “Judas,” and “traitor” when he addressed the Soviet Council of People’s Commissars later in February, or that Putin, like most Russian nationalists today, blames Lenin for tearing apart mother Russia.

Of course, there is rich irony in dismissing Ukraine’s claim to nationhood, as Putin does, on grounds that the Bolsheviks were illegitimate, anti-Russian usurpers, for Putin has also famously lambasted the 1991 collapse of the Soviet state they created as the “greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the twentieth century.” He cannot have it both ways. If the Bolshevik-Communist USSR was an artificial creation not representative of historic “Russia,” then trying to restore its boundaries must be an illegitimate enterprise.

This may explain why Putin has lately taken to invoking Russia’s Tsarist past more fervently than the Soviet period. In his article, “On the Historical Unity of Russians and Ukrainians,” posted on the Kremlin website on July 12, 2021—an article to which Western statesmen should have paid more careful attention—Russia’s president asserted that Russians, Ukrainians, and White Russians or “Belorussians” are all “descendants of ancient Rus.” Ukrainians would object here that Kyiv (as they call it, or Kiev, as the Russians and most of the Western world until recently called it) was the capital of this ancestral Russian state, giving the Ukrainians claim to its legacy. And yet Putin doesn’t really deny this, arguing that shared heritage is a shared heritage and that it just “so happened that Moscow became the center of reunification, continuing the tradition of ancient Russian statehood” after the shattering Mongol invasions of the 13th century.

Just as Putin and Russian nationalists insist, some version of Ukraine has been part of Russia for centuries, even if Ukrainians dispute Russian interpretation of “protection” treaties negotiated in the early Romanov period. After Russia’s first annexation of Crimea in 1783, most of what is now central and eastern Ukraine had been absorbed into the Tsarist empire, where it remained until Imperial Russia’s comeuppance in 1917-1918. And yet to claim, as Putin does, that Ukraine has never really existed as a separate nation other than in 1917-18 and after 1991 is to ignore not just the contested matters of deep Russian history but, more significantly, the turbulent history of Ukraine during the 20th century.

However murky Ukraine’s brief dawn of independence might have been during the chaos of the Russian Civil War—dependent initially on German arms in 1918 to stave off a Bolshevik takeover and then on a series of agreements with Poland in 1920 to push back the Red Army again—it was in the course of her bloody struggle for independence that modern Ukrainians first developed a strong sense of national identity. This oft-contested borderland was occupied by Germany and Austria-Hungary, invaded and re-invaded again by the Bolsheviks’ Red Army, then by the “White” or Volunteer Army which opposed the Reds, by Cossacks who brought terrible anti-Semitic pogroms in their train, then invaded and re-invaded by Poland during the Soviet-Polish war in 1920, before the final Bolshevik expulsion of the “Whites” from Crimea that November. By some estimates, control of the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, changed hands 16 times between 1918 and 1921. Putin might argue that this proves Ukraine was not strong enough to become independent, but the wrenching experience of being fought over by outside powers creates a national identity, all the same. The essence of the national character was forged in this terrible period by pox-on-all-your-houses partisans such as Nester Makhno, a kind of Ukrainian T. E. Lawrence, who specialized in ambushing troop trains of whatever army happened to be ravaging his country.

Ukraine suffered still greater horrors in the forced-collectivization nightmare of the early 1930s, now remembered as the “Holodomor” or Terror-Famine. Whether Stalin’s grain-hoarding NKVD kulak-killers starved millions of Ukrainians to death on ethno-genocidal or on ideological grounds can hardly diminish the significance of this terrible human catastrophe for Ukrainians and their burgeoning sense of themselves as a people.

The history of World War II in Ukraine, after the German invasion of June 1941, was more bloody and painful still. It is true that some (though hardly all) Ukrainians collaborated with the invaders. Even Ukrainians who fought honorably in the Red Army against the Germans, of which there were millions, were sometimes treated differently by the invader after being captured; many were allowed to return to their homes rather than face the terrible privations other Red Army POWs faced in German camps. This selective treatment furnishes the historical basis for Putin’s explosive and hate-filled talk about Ukrainian “Nazism” today, a smear amplified by Russian nationalists online in their incessant chatter about “Ukro-Nazis.”

However real Ukrainian collaboration might have been in a few cases, such as that of the notorious Stepan Bandera and his followers, it is grotesque to slander all wartime Ukrainians as Nazis by association, and still more grotesque to apply this label to modern Ukrainian patriots. (Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, is Jewish, which makes the Nazi label even more absurd and insulting.)

The reason some Ukrainians cooperated with the invader in 1941 was that they had suffered terribly under Soviet Communist rule, both during the Civil War and the Holodomor and (lest we forget) in Stalin’s Great Purge of the late 1930s, which claimed still more thousands of innocent lives. It did not mean that Ukrainians shared Nazi racial ideology–to the Nazis, after all, they were racially inferior “Slavs” no less than Russians were. Moreover, much of the wartime collaboration, particularly in western Ukraine, wasn’t with Germans anyway but with Romanian occupying troops, who might have been antipathetic to the Russians, who had invaded their own country in 1940, but who were not Nazis by any plausible definition.

As if the trauma of civil war, foreign intervention, pogroms from 1918 and 1921, Holodomor in the early 1930s, Terror in the late 1930s, Germano-Romanian invasion, war, and genocide after 1941 were not enough, Ukraine faced another half-decade of horrors after being “liberated” by the Red Army in 1944. These new horrors came from ferocious Soviet “anti-partisan” operations directed by Nikita Khrushchev and from another terrible famine in 1946-1947, which killed hundreds of thousands more Ukrainians. Indeed, when the idea of genuine Ukrainian independence emerged in the glasnost years of the late 1980s, it was largely on the basis of shared national suffering and trauma that Ukrainians came together in the movement called Rukh,or “hand,” forming a human chain in 1990 between Kiev and Lvov (also known as Lviv), much as Lithuanians, Latvians, and Estonians had done the previous year, linking the three Baltic capitals of Vilnius, Riga, and Tallinn to mark the 50-year anniversary of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, which had snuffed out their countries’ independence. For Putin to dismiss the force of this shared history of trauma in forming a genuine Ukrainian national identity is not just insensitive, but deeply ahistorical.

Putin is on firmer ground in his invocation of post-Cold War history, as in his complaint in the Feb. 21 speech that the U.S. and its allies had “expanded NATO to the east, moving military infrastructure closer to our borders,” a point Putin emphasized at still greater length on Feb. 24, when he announced the start of military operations against Ukraine. In the latter speech, Putin also reminded Russians that NATO had launched “a bloody military operation against Belgrade” in Mar. 1999, “without the UN Security Council’s sanction but with combat aircraft and missiles used in the heart of Europe.” I was in Moscow when this Kosovo war began, and I can attest that the reaction among many Russians I knew, their sense of rejection and betrayal by an ever-more contemptuous West, was visceral. Whatever the merits of the NATO case against Serbia for cleansing Albanian Muslims from Kosovo, to Russians this looked like a war of aggression against one of their oldest allies.

It was not only Russians and Russian “apologists” who decried NATO expansion, especially after the controversial vow made by then-U.S. Secretary of State James Baker to Mikhail Gorbachev in Feb. 1990 that, if Moscow consented to German reunification, NATO would “not shift one inch eastward from its present position”–a promise Putin highlighted in his Feb. 24 speech. While it is true that Gorbachev, foolishly, did not get this pledge in writing, multiple witnesses have confirmed the “one inch” phrase was uttered, and it is the kind of memorable line which, oft-repeated, Russian nationalists like Putin will never forget. There may have been no binding treaty with Russia limiting NATO expansion, but this does not mean that moving ahead was wise. It was not only anti-war doves but experienced Cold Warriors, such as Richard Nixon and Henry Kissinger, and even the great architect of the “containment doctrine,” George Kennan, who warned loudly in the early 1990s that to expand NATO would result in “a new Cold War, probably ending in a hot one” (from The Kennan Diaries, page 659).

But NATO expansion proceeded nonetheless, not merely into the former Soviet-allied Warsaw Pact member countries of Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic (1999), followed by Romania and Bulgaria, but also into the Baltic region, where three former Soviet republics abutting Russian territory—Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania—were admitted in 2004, one year after the U.S. had further offended Moscow by invading Iraq over stout Russian opposition. Today there are no less than 30 members of this wealthy, well-equipped military alliance, four of which border Russia overland, with two more former Soviet republics listed on NATO’s own website as “aspirant countries” who have “declared their aspirations to NATO membership”: Georgia and, yes, Ukraine.

One does not have to be a Russian chauvinist to recognize merit in Putin’s complaint about “the eastward expansion of NATO” over Russian objections. If, as a few Western politicians have dubiously claimed, NATO is not really directed against Russia—we are constantly told, it is a “voluntary defensive alliance” that any country can join—then it is worth asking why Russia was never invited to join it. It is not without interest that Putin mentioned, in his otherwise bellicose speech on Feb. 21, that he asked President Clinton in 2000 whether the United States might see Russia joining NATO one day. Although Clinton seemed amenable at the time, the U.S. delegation reportedly became “very nervous.” Needless to say, no invitation ever followed for Russia to join NATO. Perhaps this was an impossible fantasy, but if so, does it not rather prove Putin’s point that NATO is fundamentally an anti-Russian alliance?

Surely NATO expansion should have stopped at some point, if not with German unification in 1990. Was it wise to push NATO all the way into the Baltic region, turning Russian-held Kaliningrad into a potential nuclear flashpoint, sandwiched between NATO members Poland and Lithuania?  Or to invite Georgia to the NATO summit in Bucharest in April 2008, which helped poison Russia’s relations with Tbilisi prior to the Russo-Georgian war later that year? As for Ukraine, experienced American statesmen, from Kissinger and Kennan to Carter’s National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski, had warned for years that even talking about Ukraine joining NATO might be fatal to peace.

American leaders have done far more than talk. First under President George W. Bush, in the “Orange Revolution” of 2004-5, and then even more brazenly under President Obama and then-Vice President Biden in the overtly U.S.-backed “Euromaidan” revolution, which toppled Russia-friendly Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in February 2014, the U.S. and its allies threw down the gauntlet to Moscow, which responded by annexing Crimea and moving into Lugansk and the Donbass.  Putin’s claims that Ukraine has, since 2014, been carrying out “genocide” against Russian-speakers may be groundless, but his case that the U.S. and its allies have turned Ukraine into a lethally armed catspaw is not. As the leading U.S. realist scholar of international relations, John Mearsheimer, presciently warned in September 2015, “the West is leading Ukraine down the primrose path, and the end result is that Ukraine is going to get wrecked.”

In the months leading up to the Russian invasion launched on Feb. 24, it appears to be mostly Western fecklessness which has encouraged Putin’s aggression: German politicians signing lucrative pipeline deals with the Kremlin, taking positions on the boards of Russian energy companies, and ratcheting up their abject dependence on Russian energy by shuttering nuclear plants; the Biden administration’s humiliating botch of the withdrawal from Afghanistan; Biden’s hint that a “minor incursion” into Ukraine might not occasion a decisive response; the withdrawal of U.S. diplomatic personnel from Kiev to Lvov, and so on. There has been no shortage of ineptitude in Western capitals, and this has undermined the deterrence of Russia vis-à-vis Ukraine. But we also should not forget the larger story of NATO expansion and the U.S.-backed “color revolutions” in Ukraine and other former Soviet republics, which have fueled Russian fear, anger, and resentment.  It may be too late to wind the clock back and reverse NATO expansion, but it is never too late to learn the lessons of history.

Unfortunately, it is the people of Ukraine who are paying the price of Western hubris, just as Mearsheimer warned in 2015. By dangling NATO membership and the mirage of an American security umbrella before them, the U.S. and its allies have unleashed the furies of Russian ressentiment, resulting in a devastating and bloody invasion of Ukraine, even while doing almost nothing to assure the country’s defense. They deserved better from us.

The Unfaithful Are In Control: Fidelity, Fidelity where art thou Fidelity?

By Dr. Rich Swier

“Entreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the Lord do so to me, and more also, if aught but death part thee and me.” – Spoken by Ruth to Naomi, her mother-in-law on fidelity.

My wedding ring has inscribed on it “whither thou goest.” My marriage, as in my life, fidelity has been key to how I live, love and prosper.

Today, I ask where is our fidelity as individuals, families, communities and a nation?

The Marine Corp motto is Semper Fidelis which is Latin for always faithful. According to the U.S. Marine Corps website:

Today our nation is in dire need of those who serve us to have fidelity to our nation. Without this fidelity our nation is adrift in the world. Others see our lack of fidelity as a sign of weakness and history tells us our enemies are always ready to take advantage of our lack of fidelity.

This is not new in our history. Before WWII our people did not want to get into another land war in Europe. Still reeling from the aftermath of WWI and in the midst of a severe worldwide economic depression that took place mostly during the 1930s, beginning in the United States, America was weak.

On Sept. 1, 1939, after previously seizing Austria and Czechoslovakia, Nazi Germany invaded neighboring Poland, resulting in Britain and France declaring war on Germany and thus kicking off World War II in Europe.

As all of this was unfolding, in a poll conducted Sept. 1-6, 1939, Gallup asked Americans to what degree they supported assisting England, France and Poland. Americans supported providing material assistance to these three countries but were overwhelmingly opposed to sending military forces to fight Germany.

1939 Gallop Poll Question: How far should we go in helping England, France and Poland?

Yes No
% %
Should we sell them food supplies? 74 27
Should we sell airplanes and other war materials to England and France? 58 42
Should we send our Army and Navy abroad to fight against Germany? 16 84
GALLUP, SEPT. 1-6, 1939

This American half heartedness to help fight Nazi Germany in 1939 lead directly to the December 7th, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor by naval and air forces of Imperial Japan. A date that has gone down in infamy.

Actual or perceived U.S. weakness makes our enemies stronger, history tells us so.

Fast Forward to 2022

America is now facing a war in the Ukraine. If an Iran nuclear deal is reached which allows the mullahs to obtain nuclear weapons then a war in the Middle East between Iran and other Arab nations in partnership with Israel is a real and present danger. Add to this China’s clear intent to intimidate, if not provoke a war in the Pacific theater, over Taiwan rearing the ugly Communist dragon’s head.

China, Russia and Iran feel our lack of fidelity. We predict Iran and China will follow Russia’s lead in testing our fidelity as a nation.

Do we need to send U.S. troops to the Ukraine? No, however, we need to do all we can to help Ukraine and the Ukrainian people defeat the Russians. Not to do so will cause a humanitarian tragedy and potentially encourage Russian military action beyond the Ukraine.

What is Biden doing to prepare America and our military? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Biden and the Joint Chiefs of Staff are more concerned about diversity, inclusion, equity than winning wars. While Russian was invading Ukraine our military was holding mandatory classes on  “gender identity”. To understand watch this U.S. Army recruitment ad:

Today Americans are fast approaching yet another depression that may be worse than that during the 1930s. One caused by Biden and his administration’s policies. The price of food, gasoline, clothing, cars, homes, and consumer goods in general are rising at an alarming rate.

Question: Does America need war fighters or a military that is well versed in gender identity?

The Unfaithful Are In Control

In a November 10th, 2021 article in the Wall Street Journal titled “Inflation and Building Back Worsethe Editorial Board warned,

For something we’re told is “transitory,” inflation sure is persistent. The latest evidence arrived with a jolt Wednesday when the Labor Department reported that consumer prices jumped 0.9% in October, or 6.2% from a year ago and the fifth straight month higher than 5%.

That’s also the fastest rate since 1990, despite reassurances since March from the White House, Federal Reserve and Keynesian economists that inflation would soon vanish. It follows Tuesday’s report that wholesale prices rose 0.6% in October, or 8.6% from a year earlier. Producer prices flow into consumer prices, assuming businesses believe they have enough market power.

QUESTION: Why aren’t Biden, his administration and the majority of Democrats in Congress and the Democratic Party concerned about this?

ANSWER: They have neither an eternal nor a collective commitment to the success and progress of our Nation. They simply don’t put Americans first.

The unfaithful are now in control in the United States of America.

Indicators of our unfaithfulness as a nation began in Ferguson, Missouri. The Ferguson unrest (a.k.a. Ferguson uprisingFerguson protests, Ferguson riots) involved protests and riots which began on August 10, 2014, the day after the fatal shooting of Michael Brown by police officer Darren Wilson. This lead to the myth that black lives are more important than everyone’s lives. Which led to professional athletes taking a knee during the playing of the National Anthem, to individuals, corporations and non-profits funding organizations like Black Lives Matter. This in turn led to teaching Critical Race Theory on public schools across the nation. A curriculum that paints Americans as racist.

Finally, this led to Democrats appeasing Black Identity Extremists (BIE).

Black Identity Extremists were identified by the FBI as a threat to our national security. A report published by the Federal Bureau of Investigation on August 3rd, 2017 stated, “The FBI assesses it is very likely that BIEs’ perceptions of unjust treatment of African Americans and the perceived unchallenged illegitimate actions of law enforcement will inspire premeditated attacks against law enforcement over the next year. This may also lead to an increase in BIE group memberships, collaboration among BIE groups, or the appearance of additional violent lone offenders motivated by BIE rhetoric. The FBI further assesses it is very likely additional controversial police shootings of African Americans and the associated legal proceedings will continue to serve as drivers for violence against law enforcement. The FBI assesses it is likely police officers of minority groups are also targeted by BIEs because they are also representative of a perceived oppressive law enforcement system.” Black Identity Extremists include Black Lives Matter, which was co-founded by a self-identified Marxist, some members of the Democrat Black Caucus and black members of the Biden administration and cabinet.

The Bottom Line

Dr. Francis Collins, former NIH Director and current “science advisor” to Joe Biden in a newly leaked audio, obtained by The Daily Wire’s Meg Basham, demonstrates how Biden, his administration and the Democrat Party are unfaithful to America.

Dr. Collins claimed, even though science journals were already reporting that vaccinated people were just as likely to spread the then-dominant Delta variant as those who were unvaccinated,

The US government does have the authority to mandate vaccinations if there is an outbreak that is threatening people, because it’s not just about you, it’s about the people you’re going to infect.”

Collins went on to ask,

“Do [mandates] convince people who otherwise wouldn’t get them? Oh yeah, especially if it means losing your job.”

Collins then said evangelicals, in particular, have over-emphasize notions of personal liberty when it comes to mandates, saying they have so,

“wrapped themselves in the flag and wrapped themselves in this concept of personal freedom, that public health just grates on them.”

Here’s a list of things Democrats love to hate:

The Bill of Rights. The Constitution of the United States of America. The American flag. Parents who push back at school board policies. Jews who voted for and continue to support Trump. Blacks, Hispanics and other people of color who voted for and continue to support Trump. Donald J. Trump and his entire family, e.g. his wife, sons, daughter and grandchildren. Canadian and American truckers driving home the anti-vaxx message, e.g. Canada’s “Freedom Convoy” and America’s “The Peoples Convoy.” Those who are not vaxxed. Those who have natural immunity to Covid and refuse to get jabbed. The 79 million Americans who voted for Donald J. Trump in 2020. The patriots who held a peaceful protest in Washington, D.C. on January 6th, 2021. Americans who know that gender is binary, male=XX and female=XY. Straight men. Straight women. Mothers. Fathers. Families consisting of a husband, wife and their biological children. Also known as parents with children. A constitutional Republican form of government where the governed have the power, not the government. Those who believe in an all mighty and all powerful God, e.g. Jews, Christians and Muslims. Those who believe government is not God. Anyone who shouts out, posts, shares on social media, has a bumper sticker or wears t-shirts with the phrase “Let’s Go Brandon.”

The bottom line is Democrats hate America, the American people and our Judeo-Christian roots.

You see the danger to America is not Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of a Biden presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgement to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.

The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Biden, who is a mere symptom of what ails America.

Blaming the prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Biden, who is, after all, merely a fool. The Republic is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president!

Question: As the foundations of America are crumbling, what are the faithful and righteous to do?

Answer: There’s nothing that the faithful and righteous cannot do.

Stand up and be counted. Semper Fidelis!

Here’s a hint: God-fearing patriots don’t retreat!

Here’s this week’s Shout Out Patriots Show: “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”

The foundations of God are under assault, and we don’t have to look far to find the evidence.

A woman can become a man. Two men can marry each other. A father can give birth to a baby. An unborn baby is not human. And a mother is now a “birthing person.”

While living under the ruthless law of Saul, King David also saw the foundations of God being destroyed. His advisers even suggested that he “flee like a bird to your mountain,” making him scoff.

Though David didn’t flee, he was aware of the dangers of standing his ground. He saw “the wicked bend their bows” and “make ready their arrow upon the string.”

Their focus?

To shoot “the upright in heart.”

In Psalm 11, David asks the pointed question that Christians today are forced to answer:

“If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”

Our team attempts to answer that uneasy question in this episode of Shout Out Patriots.

To help us consider the answer, we invited Dr. Rich Swier to join us.

Dr. Swier is a 23-year Army veteran who retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He is also a former radio talk show host and is one of our nation’s leading pro-family advocates.

I hope you find time to watch or listen to this important podcast as we debate how to rebuild God’s foundations in America.

Kamala Cackles Awkwardly During Press Conference with Polish President

By Discover The Networks

During a press conference with the president of Poland in Warsaw on Thursday, hopelessly incompetent Vice President Kamala Harris embarrassed the United States yet again on the world stage in a time of crisis, this time cackling awkwardly as she passed a difficult — for her — question over to the Polish president.

After a reporter asked the unprepared and intellectually-challenged VP a question about Ukrainian refugees and a related follow-up question to Polish President Andrzej Duda, Kamala seemed surprised when Duda looked at her, naturally expecting her to answer her question first.

“OK,” she panicked, pausing to look down at her notes. Gesturing to Duda to answer instead, she cackled, “A friend in need is a friend indeed,” referring to Duda quoting her earlier in the conference. “As Madame Vice President remarked today, a friend in need is a friend indeed,’” he had said.

Duda politely took the question as the clearly uncomfortable Kamala continued to bray in laughter.

What a humiliation this diversity hire VP is for the United States. The whole world can see, in this time of impending war, just how out of her depth Kamala is and just how weak American leadership is.

Harris Gives Simplistic Explanation of Russia’s Recent Invasion of Ukraine

During a March 1, 2022 appearance on the syndicated “Morning Hustle” radio program, Harris was asked by co-host Headkrack to explain the conflict “in layman’s terms for people who don’t understand what’s going on and how can this directly affect the people of the United States.” Speaking slowly, Harris replied: “So, Ukraine is a country in Europe. It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So, basically, that’s wrong, and it goes against everything that we stand for.”

Fake viral footage on Ukraine: How to spot it

By MercatorNet – Navigating Modern Complexities

Amid the alarming images of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine over the past few days, millions of people have also seen misleading, manipulated or false information about the conflict on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and Telegram.

One example is this video of military jets posted to TikTok, which is historical footage but captioned as live video of the situation in Ukraine.

Visuals, because of their persuasive potential and attention-grabbing nature, are an especially potent choice for those seeking to mislead. Where creating, editing or sharing inauthentic visual content isn’t satire or art, it is usually politically or economically motivated.

Disinformation campaigns aim to distract, confuse, manipulate and sow division, discord, and uncertainty in the community. This is a common strategy for highly polarised nations where socioeconomic inequalities, disenfranchisement and propaganda are prevalent.

How is this fake content created and spread, what’s being done to debunk it, and how can you ensure you don’t fall for it yourself?

What are the most common fakery techniques?

Using an existing photo or video and claiming it came from a different time or place is one of the most common forms of misinformation in this context. This requires no special software or technical skills — just a willingness to upload an old video of a missile attack or other arresting image, and describe it as new footage.

Another low-tech option is to stage or pose actions or events and present them as reality. This was the case with destroyed vehicles that Russia claimed were bombed by Ukraine.

Using a particular lens or vantage point can also change how the scene looks and can be used to deceive. A tight shot of people, for example, can make it hard to gauge how many were in a crowd, compared with an aerial shot.

Taking things further still, Photoshop or equivalent software can be used to add or remove people or objects from a scene, or to crop elements out from a photograph. An example of object addition is the below photograph, which purports to show construction machinery outside a kindergarten in eastern Ukraine. The satirical text accompanying the image jokes about the “calibre of the construction machinery” — the author suggesting that reports of damage to buildings from military ordinance are exaggerated or untrue.

А вот и снаряд,пробивший дыру в садике на подконтрольной 🇺🇦тер-рии.Подскажите,это какой калибр? pic.twitter.com/UZr7Smo7zB

— ✯ Матрёшка Z V 🤍💙♥ (@Matryoshka_Ru) February 18, 2022

Close inspection reveals this image was digitally altered to include the machinery. This tweet could be seen as an attempt to downplay the extent of damage resulting from a Russian-backed missile attack, and in a wider context to create confusion and doubt as to veracity of other images emerging from the conflict zone.

What’s being done about it?

European organisations such as Bellingcat have begun compiling lists of dubious social media claims about the Russia-Ukraine conflict and debunking them where necessary.

Journalists and fact-checkers are also working to verify content and raise awareness of known fakes. Large, well-resourced news outlets such as the BBC are also calling out misinformation.

Social media platforms have added new labels to identify state-run media organisations or provide more background information about sources or people in your networks who have also shared a particular story.

They have also tweaked their algorithms to change what content is amplified and have hired staff to spot and flag misleading content. Platforms are also doing some work behind the scenes to detect and publicly share information on state-linked information operations.

What can I do about it?

You can attempt to fact-check images for yourself rather than taking them at face value. An article we wrote late last year for the Australian Associated Press explains the fact-checking process at each stage: image creation, editing and distribution.

Here are five simple steps you can take:

1. Examine the metadata

This Telegram post claims Polish-speaking saboteurs attacked a sewage facility in an attempt to place a tank of chlorine for a “false flag” attack.

But the video’s metadata — the details about how and when the video was created — show it was filmed days before the alleged date of the incident.

To check metadata for yourself, you can download the file and use software such as Adobe Photoshop or Bridge to examine it. Online metadata viewers also exist that allow you to check by using the image’s web link.

One hurdle to this approach is that social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter often strip the metadata from photos and videos when they are uploaded to their sites. In these cases, you can try requesting the original file or consulting fact-checking websites to see whether they have already verified or debunked the footage in question.

2. Consult a fact-checking resource

Organisations such as the Australian Associated PressRMIT/ABCAgence France-Presse (AFP) and Bellingcat maintain lists of fact-checks their teams have performed.

The AFP has already debunked a video claiming to show an explosion from the current conflict in Ukraine as being from the 2020 port disaster in Beirut.

Fact-checkers from all around the world are working TOGETHER (once more) to debunk falsehoods about #RussiaUkraineConflict. Collaboration is key in times like these! Make sure you support those who are seeking the facts.

(And I am sooo proud to be part of this community) pic.twitter.com/RJZty9luAL

— Cristina Tardáguila (@ctardaguila) February 24, 2022

3. Search more broadly

If old content has been recycled and repurposed, you may be able to find the same footage used elsewhere. You can use Google Images or TinEye to “reverse image search” a picture and see where else it appears online.

But be aware that simple edits such as reversing the left-right orientation of an image can fool search engines and make them think the flipped image is new.

4. Look for inconsistencies

Does the purported time of day match the direction of light you would expect at that time, for example? Do watches or clocks visible in the image correspond to the alleged timeline claimed?

Putin convened an unscheduled meeting with his Security Council in Moscow on Monday. The meeting was broadcast at 5 pm. But what time was it really held? Let’s look at some participants’ watches. Sergei Shoigu & Sergei Lavrov prep at 11:45. #OSINT #UkraineRussia #Russia #Ukraine pic.twitter.com/YlnLodkjdq

— Forrest Rogers (@Forrest_Rogers) February 22, 2022

You can also compare other data points, such as politicians’ schedules or verified sightings, Google Earth vision or Google Maps imagery, to try and triangulate claims and see whether the details are consistent.

5. Ask yourself some simple questions

Do you know wherewhen and why the photo or video was made? Do you know who made it, and whether what you’re looking at is the original version?

Using online tools such as InVID or Forensically can potentially help answer some of these questions. Or you might like to refer to this list of 20 questions you can use to “interrogate” social media footage with the right level of healthy scepticism.

Ultimately, if you’re in doubt, don’t share or repeat claims that haven’t been published by a reputable source such as an international news organisation. And consider using some of these principles when deciding which sources to trust.

By doing this, you can help limit the influence of misinformation, and help clarify the true situation in Ukraine.

Biden’s ‘science advisor’ trashes Christians, dismisses individual rights, says government can force vaccine

By Jihad Watch

America’s future as a free society is in serious peril because there are so many authoritarians in positions of power and influence who have contempt for the American people and their values.

by Christianity Today,” RedState, March 8, 2022:

Dr. Francis Collins, former NIH Director and current “science advisor” to Joe Biden, has long proclaimed himself and Dr. Anthony Fauci as “not political figures.” But newly leaked audio, obtained by The Daily Wire’s Meg Basham, tells a far different story.

The audio was taken on October 26th, 2021 at an event hosted by Christianity Today in conjunction with the Institute of Politics (a leftwing organization founded by David Axelrod). Russell Moore, a favorite among socially left-leaning “evangelicals” like David French and Beth Moore, conducted the interview portion that included Collins.

What followed was the mocking of Christians, the dismissal of individual rights, and false assertions about the legalities involved with vaccine mandates. But rest assured, none of this was political per Collins’ self-description.

“The US government does have the authority to mandate vaccinations if there is an outbreak that is threatening people, because it’s not just about you, it’s about the people you’re going to infect,” Collins claimed, even though science journals were already reporting by that point that vaccinated people were just as likely to spread the then-dominant Delta variant as those who were unvaccinated.

Collins went on to ask rhetorically, “Do [mandates] convince people who otherwise wouldn’t get them?” He answered himself, “Oh yeah, especially if it means losing your job.”

Perhaps Collins should opine less on legal issues because that turned out to be objectively false. As most are aware, the Supreme Court ended up striking down the Biden administration’s federal vaccine mandate. Collins tried to cite Jacobson vs. Massachusetts, a 1905 case that involved state-level mandates, in the interview, again showing his lack of knowledge of the topic. The lack of empathy shown to those losing their jobs over a mandate that was scientifically pointless (everyone spreads COVID) is also striking.

Later, Collins would go on to outright mock Christians who value personal freedom from the government.

Collins said evangelicals, in particular, over-emphasize notions of personal liberty when it comes to mandates, saying they have so “wrapped themselves in the flag and wrapped themselves in this concept of personal freedom, that public health just grates on them.”

“[Evangelicals] have forgotten many times that freedom is not just about rights,” Collins contended. He then employed a mocking caricature of a Southern accent, asking the students, “How many times have you heard, ‘Muh freedom means I got rights’? Well, okay, you also have that other R-word: responsibilities. That’s what freedom is supposed to incorporate.”

I’m not sure what planet this man lives on, but freedom is actually about rights. There can be no freedom without rights, and anything that violates those rights is logically not freedom. The nod to “responsibilities” is a weak, commonly used excuse by government apparatchiks to force their agenda on others. Even tackling Collins’ claim on the merits, what responsibility to others does someone have to get vaccinated if the vaccine does not stop the spread of COVID?…

Arguably the most politically pointed portion of Collins’ remarks came when Moore asked him about the political opinions of his fellow Christians. Collins answered by referencing an Atlantic article by anti-Trump pundit Peter Wehner, another member of his and Moore’s book club, that argued evangelicals have “embraced the worst aspects of our culture and our politics” and that “churches [have] become repositories not of grace but of grievances, places where tribal identities are reinforced, where fears are nurtured, and where aggression and nastiness are sacralized.”

Confirmed: There Was No January 6 ‘Insurrection’

By Jihad Watch

A Pulitzer Prize-winning NY Times reporter spills the truth on an undercover Project Veritas video. New in FrontPage:

The real journalists today aren’t working in propaganda mills such as the New York Times and CNN. The real journalists, the indefatigable hunters for truth of myth and legend, live on today in groups such as James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas. Feared and hated by the establishment media that it exposes for what it really is (and really isn’t, i.e., a genuine news source), Project Veritas scores coup after coup by getting establishment “journalists” talking, and recording what they say. This time, New York Times National Security Correspondent Matthew Rosenberg has inadvertently blown the cover off the entire January 6 “insurrection” hoax, confirming what we knew all along, but couldn’t say over the din of media lies: there was no “insurrection.” There was hardly even a disturbance.

The entire January 6 narrative is a Democrat Party/media fiction.

Rosenberg was caught on video saying everything that patriots have long suspected about January 6, and much more. He acknowledges that “there were a ton of FBI informants among the people who attacked the Capitol.” In these days of a rogue, partisan FBI that aided in efforts to frame a duly elected president of the United States for collusion with Russia when no collusion took place, that isn’t at all hard to believe. The entire Washington establishment was dead set against Donald Trump and determined to destroy his presidency, and the FBI is an integral cog in that Washington machine.

As Project Veritas notes, in acknowledging this, Rosenberg contradicted his own report, in which he dismissed the idea that FBI informants were among the protestors as a “reimagining of Jan. 6.”

Project Veritas also caught Rosenberg saying that January 6 was “not a big deal as they [media] are making it, because they were making too big a deal. They were making this an organized thing that it wasn’t.” However, as recently as January 6, 2022, the first anniversary of the insurrection that wasn’t, Rosenberg was one of three Times writers credited with an article entitled: “The Next Big Lies: Jan. 6 Was No Big Deal, or a Left-Wing Plot.”

In that piece, Rosenberg, along with fellow propagandists Jim Rutenberg and Matthew M. Grynbaum, wrote:

“Over the last year, that same self-nourishing loop — connecting the extremely online Trumpian grass roots to close Trump allies with national soapboxes and finally to the former president himself, plotting his comeback from Palm Beach exile — has circulated a furious array of rumor, innuendo, partial facts and outright lies to fill the right-wing media with alternative narratives of the first interruption in the peaceful transfer of power in American history.”

Rumor, innuendo, partial facts and outright lies such as the assertion that January 6 wasn’t really an insurrection, which Rosenberg is now on record admitting.

According to O’Keefe, this Times article “was written around the same time as he was making contradictory statements to a Project Veritas undercover reporter.” In his conversation with the undercover Project Veritas operative, Rosenberg dismissed the idea that January 6 was the terrorist rampage of Leftist myth, saying: “It was like, me and two other colleagues who were there outside and we were just having fun. I know I’m supposed to be traumatized, but like, all these colleagues who were in the [Capitol] building, and are like, ‘Oh my God it was so scary!’ I’m like, ‘f*ck off!’” He adds, “I’m like come on, it’s not the kind of place I can tell someone to man up but I kind of want to be like, ‘dude come on, you were not in any danger.’ These f*cking little dweebs who keep going on about their trauma. Shut the f*ck up. They’re f*cking b*tches.”

They’re worse than that. They’re authoritarian propagandists who embody David Horowitz’s adage, “Inside every progressive is a totalitarian screaming to get out.” They’re engaged in a large-scale attempt to stigmatize and ultimately criminalize all dissent from the Leftist agenda. That, in fact, makes them the real “insurrectionists,” and if future free people write the history of the United States, they will be recognized as such. Matthew Rosenberg himself would have been among them, but now, with one unguarded conversation, he has done a great deal to blow their cover and destroy their whole endeavor. We can only hope.

Deadly Incompetence

By Committee For A Constructive Tomorrow

Incompetence destroys.

Weakness kills.

The disastrous debacle in Afghanistan signaled to Vladimir Putin that  the time to strike is while Joe Biden is in charge.

Just yesterday, Biden blinked and declined Poland’s offer of fighter jets, leaving Ukraine struggling to defend its skies as equipment runs short.

Biden continually tells Putin what America will not do.  Mister President, it is not wise to inform the criminals that the police will not be coming.  Particularly if it is likely they won’t.

How can we expect a President to stand up to Putin if he lacks the courage to even stand up to the Green-Left and unleash America’s energy might?

Look at this clueless tweet from the @POTUS:

Loosening environmental regulations won’t lower prices.

But transforming our economy to run on electric vehicles, powered by clean energy, will mean that no one will have to worry about gas prices.

It will mean tyrants like Putin won’t be able to use fossil fuels as a weapon.

— President Biden (@POTUS) March 9, 2022

“Tyrants like Putin” includes Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro and the mad Mullahs in Iran.  Yet it is they whom Biden is asking to step up energy production.

Anyone who believes that purchasing gas and oil from tyrants rather than Americans will lower the temperature of the Globe does not understand energy, the climate, or freedom.

Have you seen White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki’s outrageous press briefings and her latest misinformation video?

Psaki keeps citing unused energy leases as evidence that all is well on the American energy front.  This is nonsense.

We posted a very detailed point by point debunking of Psaki’s energy leases political talking points by Kathleen Sgamma to CFACT.org.  Read it and arm yourself with energy facts.  As Sgamma clearly explains, the 9,000 leases figure is meaningless, “if permits aren’t approved (4,500 outstanding) & with myriad other delays the administration puts in the way of American producers.”

By the way, is Jen Psaki aware that the wind, solar and electric cars the Left so loves, are dependent on rare earths, metals and manufacturing from China and Russia?

The Greens, with China’s and Russia’s active funding and assistance, are blocking American mining as well!

Unleash American energy.  We won’t stop tyrants with daydreams of wind, solar and electric cars.

Pray for Ukraine.

For nature and people too.

Organized Confusion

By Ken Veit

Sometimes the average person wonders whether what passes for Government is really just organized confusion. Consider the current situation involving Russia, Ukraine, and U.S. energy policy.

The stated positions of the United States are:

  1. Climate change is an existential threat. Fossil fuels must be eliminated, and the energy industry shrunk.
  2. Russia is bad for invading Ukraine and must be sanctioned.
  3. MBS, the leader of Saudi Arabia, is a murderer and our relationship must be cooled.
  4. Iran is a state sponsor of terrorism and must be kept in check.
  5. Venezuela is controlled by an evil dictator. The US strongly supports regime change.
  6. Inflation is out of control and must be brought down, especially the price of energy.

Whether one agrees or not, those are clear policy positions. How are they being implemented?

With respect to Russia, we are sanctioning more and more, and urging our allies to do the same. China and Iran are ignoring us, and Germany, in its obsession with climate change, has gotten itself into a position of almost total dependence on Russia for energy.

To keep energy prices from spiking more than they already have, Biden is turning to Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Venezuela to pump more in order to offset the losses from sanctioning Russia. China, however, is allowed to keep buying Russian oil, which helps keep Russia afloat economically.

Why the Saudis would want to do Biden any favors is a mystery. Ditto for Venezuela, since their economy is kept afloat by Russian subsidies. Iran would love to pump more oil,  just as soon as Biden lifts the sanctions so they can go back to being the #1 state sponsor of terrorism.

Are there no better solutions? Actually, yes. The U.S. has the capacity to greatly expand oil and gas production and to export it to Europe, thus reducing Europe’s dependence on Russia.

So what is the problem? Answer: Biden. He is 100%+ committed to policy #1, above. He has banned drilling on Federal lands. He is making it virtually impossible to build pipelines outside of Texas. He canceled the Keystone XL pipeline, even though it had been given multiple environmental clearances by the Army Corps of Engineers. Regulations have been piled on regulations, primarily intended to hinder output growth. He has nominated to the Federal Reserve, as the person in charge of regulating banks, a woman who has publicly written that banks should be prevented from making loans to the energy industry.

Incredibly, he has tried to blame the greedy energy industry for charging too much and for refusing to increase output, even as his policies have made keeping output down the only prudent thing for energy executives to do. It is difficult to imagine that he does not realize that oil and gas prices are set by world markets, not by greedy executives.

To reverse positions now would infuriate his woke base. Instead, he goes begging our enemies to help him by taking steps that would go in the wrong direction if you are a climate change warrior. He seems to think it better to let countries that are his enemies reap the revenues and jobs than let American companies earn profits and American workers have high-paying energy jobs. Either way, he comes out looking like a hypocrite, but the election year calculus is such that the Democrats can’t afford to alienate the Progressive wing of their party.

His position is akin to that of Mitch McConnell. The Republicans can’t afford to alienate the Trumpkins, so they act as though they believe that Trump really won the last election. Biden’s preferred solution to the inflation problem is to increase subsidies to the lower rung of the economy, even though the cause of inflation is the excess liquidity resulting from excess Government spending. Is no one in touch with reality?

The media confidently predicts that Putin will lose his gamble in Ukraine. I am not so sure. We have a hard time understanding the ruthless. At the moment he is on his back legs. The Ukrainians are not caving. He did not expect Germany to defy him at all. He obviously saw Biden as a weakling. He expected more support from China than he is getting. He may be a cornered bully, but a ruthless one with few options and a stockpile of nuclear weapons is not to be written off. His domestic political capital is eroding rapidly. If he looks into the abyss and does not like what he sees, he may throw the dice regardless of how outrageous it seems to us. Historically, war has frequently been the only option left to tyrants who are flailing.

In the face of so much uncertainty and confusion, is it any wonder that financial markets are roiling?

Gov. Ron DeSantis Proves Conservatives Can Beat LGBT-Obsessed Left

By Douglas Blair

The Florida state Senate on Tuesday passed a parent’s rights bill, a media-maligned piece of legislation that will prohibit primary school teachers from talking about sexual orientation with children in pre-K through third grade.

Senate passage of the Parental Rights in Education bill by a vote of 21-17 marks a milestone in parents’ efforts across the nation to fight back against the radical left in the classroom. The legislation also represents a model for other states to use as they push back the woke tides.

The Florida House of Representatives passed the legislation last month, 69-47. It now goes to Gov. Ron DeSantis for his signature.

Opposition to the Parental Rights in Education bill has been fierce, with many on the left attempting to reframe the law as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. The left has attempted for years to indoctrinate children with LGBT ideology in public schools, and now activists are furious at attempts by conservatives to push back.

To be clear, the Florida legislation is not an “anti-gay” bill. It is instead a bill aimed at protecting children—and preventing educators with an agenda from infecting young kids with radical ideology.

DeSantis, a Republican, has expressed as much. In an exchange with a local reporter during a Monday press conference, the governor reiterated that the legislation was about protecting kids and that the corporate media was lying about what it would do.

DeSantis press secretary Christina Pushaw went one step further and argued that the bill, which takes effect July 1, was more of an “anti-grooming” measure.

They’re both correct, of course.

Americans are just waking up to how tight a grip the radical left has on the education system, and what dire consequences can result from that amount of control.

In Howard County, Maryland, eighth-grade students were subjected to a video in English class featuring a biological woman who identifies as a man talking about transgender issues. The video begins with discussions surrounding genital surgery, sex, and public restrooms before devolving into a screed about transgenderism in general.

Or consider the two California teachers who aided a 12-year-old girl with a gender transition without telling her parents, then called Child Protective Services when the parents found out and tried to stop it.

Parents and states must be empowered to counter the left’s complete and utter control of the education system. And when states take actions to empower parents, they should be praised.

DeSantis and Florida Republicans deserve credit for their aggressive efforts to push back against transgender idealogy. It’s not a given that lawmakers—whether local, state, or national—will take a stand and fight the left.

Last year, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, a Republican, failed to stand up for biological reality when she vetoed a bill to ban biological males from participating in girls and women’s sports. Noem’s actions empowered the radical left, which viewed her refusal to ban men from ruining women’s sports as a jab in the arm toward its warped worldview.

Although Noem since has backtracked and signed  South Dakota lawmakers’ Fairness in Women’s Sports bill last month, it came on the heels of DeSantis’ signing an identically named bill last June.

DeSantis and his team understand deeply that the radical left won’t stop and doesn’t care about parental concerns about the negative effects of its agenda on children. The left, alongside allies in the corporate media, will continue to lie about conservative efforts to counter its propaganda war in America’s classrooms.

That’s why it’s so important for DeSantis and his fellow conservatives in state legislatures and governor’s mansions to fight back actively. Because as passage of the Florida bill proves, conservatives can win.

DeSantis’ achievement in Florida should cause a cascade of similar legislation across the country. Americans who are rightfully concerned about leftist indoctrination deserve recourse against the activists who are hellbent on harming children.

There’s a long road ahead. But DeSantis and his team, along with GOP state lawmakers, can take credit for a huge first step.

Catastrophe in Progress: The Biden Presidency

By Mark Wallace

Almost all of America’s past presidents have had blunders occur on their watch.  For Jimmy Carter, it was skyrocketing inflation and the Iran hostage situation.  (Few people recall that when the “students” took over the United States Embassy in Tehran, it was the second seizure, not the first — yet Carter had done nothing to either reinforce the Embassy with Marines or else evacuate everyone).  For Bill Clinton, it was “I didn’t inhale” and Monica Lewinsky (“I did not have sex with that woman”).  Even the great Ronald Reagan, after he had been shot by John Hinckley, Jr., told Nancy “Honey, I forgot to duck.”

The Biden Administration, however, is in a class by itself.  In the mere space of less than 15 months, it has already outdone all the others by a huge margin.  It’s been one mindless blunder after another, not merely on one front (foreign policy, for example) but on all of them.  Let’s look at the sorry record on this.

Failure to Defend the Border

The Biden Administration has allowed two million illegals to cross our southern border.  Many of them have been surreptitiously flown at no charge to cities and towns across the United States, with planes landing in the middle of the night so the locals won’t know what’s happening.  Your taxes are paying for this.  If an illegal wants to fly a commercial on his or her own dime, he or she can use his arrest warrant as a form of identification.  Truly, you can’t make this stuff up.  The Mexican Drug Cartels are having a field day smuggling illegal drugs across the border along with trafficking human beings.  It wouldn’t be surprising to learn that the Sinaloa Cartel has given Joe Biden its “Most Friendly and Helpful Gringo Award” for 2021-2022.

Afghanistan

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that if you are going to withdraw both military personnel and civilians from a war-torn area, the civilians should go first.  Quite obviously, the military can stand by to protect the civilians if matters go awry.  If the military is withdrawn first, the civilians are left defenseless.  Yet the Biden Administration, in a mind-boggling display of incompetence, chose to evacuate the military first, with the result that hundreds of Americans are still stranded behind enemy lines.

Compounding this blunder, the Biden Administration left about $70 billion worth of military equipment behind in Afghanistan for the Taliban to use as it sees fit.  When the question is asked who benefited the most from Biden’s first year in office, the answer is clear:  the Taliban. Joe Biden has met all the requisite tests to qualify as the Taliban’s “Man of the Year.”

Bidenflation

Under Biden, consumer price inflation is now the worst in almost half a century.  We are now back to Jimmy Carter’s levels of inflation.  Enough said.

Destruction of the Oil and Gas Industry

When Biden was sworn in, the United States was energy independent and a net exporter of oil and natural gas for the first time in around 70 years.  At the instigation of fanatical Watermelon Greens (green on the outside, red on the inside), Biden set about to destroy America’s energy independence and its oil and gas industry by canceling oil and gas leases and by promulgating oppressive regulations expressly designed to cripple the industry.  Before too long, (1) America was no longer energy independent, and (2) prices at the gasoline pump began rising.  The Greenies, sadists that they are, rubbed their hands in glee as Joe Sixpack found it more and more expensive to fill up his SUV.  Let Joe Sixpack suffer, they argued — he should be riding public transportation anyway.

The Ukraine Invasion

Putin’s invasion of Ukraine was no surprise attack.  It was known for months that he was massing troops on Russia’s border with Ukraine.  The dolts running the Biden Administration had a golden opportunity to move Javelins, Stingers, maybe even fighter jets into Ukraine while Russia was standing pat.  If the armament transfer had been robust enough, Putin may have thought twice about trying to invade.  Instead, little or nothing was done until the war began.

The foregoing are largely instances of incompetence and poor planning.  More sinister are the Biden Administration’s efforts to quell free speech and deprive Americans of their First and Second Amendment rights.  An example in point is the targeting of parents of schoolchildren by the U.S. Department of Justice.  If you show up at a school board meeting to protest the mask requirements for your children or the tyrannical vaccine mandates (a clear and especially vicious form of child abuse — let the prosecutions begin after the Republicans re-take Congress and the White House), you may find yourself being investigated.  Additionally, there is the persecution of peaceful January 6 protestors and the issuance of a get-out-of-jail-free card to jackbooted thugs wearing a uniform and a badge who murdered January 6 protestors in cold blood.  Note that this too can be remedied after the voters send the Democrats packing — there is no statute of limitations for murder.

We can go on and on, but you get the point.  Joe Biden has shown by his actions and his Administration’s actions that he is far and away the worst President in our country’s history — and he still has almost another three years to wreak yet more havoc.

But there is hope.  If Republicans retake the House in November 2022, there would be nothing stopping the House from impeaching both Biden and Harris, thereby putting a Republican Speaker of the House in the White House if a two-thirds majority to convict can be assembled in the Senate.  Yeah, it’s a long shot, but if things get even worse between now and 2023 (which seems assured, given the way Biden is running the country), it’s not totally impossible.

American Fascisti: Looking For Fascism In All The Wrong Places

By Dr. Rich Swier

Since the rise of Antifa, which gained prominence in the United States after the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, VA, August 11-12, 2017, there has been an concerted effort to designate selected individuals and particular groups, who don’t fit the definition of fascists, as fascists. Love of ones country is not fascist.

Today patriotism has been equated to fascism.

These falsely labeled groups include parents, peaceful protesters in Washington, D.C. on January 6th, 2020, members of certain political parties (Independents, Libertarians and the GOP) and followers of a former President of the United States (#45).

We expected Antifa, and other anarchist groups, to go quietly into the night but they haven’t.

The cost of civil disorder has risen to alarming levels. Civil disorder has turned into a political, philosophical and a number of social movements that are gaining power to the point that they are now a new breed of fascists – we call them “American Fascisti.”

Costliest U.S. civil disorders

On May 26, 2020, after the death of George Floyd in police custody, protests and riots broke out in Minneapolis, Minnesota and spread over the weeks that followed to another 140 U.S. cities, including Washington, D.C., New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles. The National Guard was deployed in at least 21 states and Washington, D.C.

Axios’ Jennifer A. Kingson reported on the history of the costliest insurance claims due to civil disorders in 2020 that exceeded $1-2 billion. Here’s the cost of these protests and riots:

Includes riots and civil disorders causing insured losses to the insurance industry.

Dates Location Dollars 2020 dollars
May 26-June 8, 2020 20 states across U.S. $1-2b $1-2b
Apr. 29-May 4, 1992 Los Angeles, CA 775m 1.42b

Apr. 6-9, 1968 Baltimore, MD 14m 104m
Apr. 4-11, 1968 Chicago, IL 13m 97m

These riots are indicative of a new Fascism in America. The 2020 riots are more dangerous and costly than the Vietnam War protests and all others combined.

This article will shed light on the origins of Fascism in America from 1930 to 2022.

The legacy and social media, the Democrats and Biden’s DOJ, DOD and FBI continue to seek out Fascists in America.

What our research found is that they’re looking for Fascists in all the wrong places.

Merriam-Webster defines Fascism as:

1. political philosophy, movement, or – (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition;

2: a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control.

Through the Looking Glass: American Fascisti

We used four key benchmarks to find Fascism in America: 1. Those who are for a centralized autocratic government, 2. Those who exalt race over the individual, 3. Those who are implementing severe economic and social regimentation and 4. those who use suppression and oppression against those who oppose them and their political philosophy.

NOTE: We found during our research that today’s American Fascisti lack any love of America as a nation, or its people or its Constitutional Republican form of government. We found today’s American Fascisti actually hate America, its flag, the U.S. Constitution and all that America stands for. We also found that the American Fascisti are not right wing at all. Rather they trend toward the Marxist side of the political spectrum.

Based upon the above four benchmarks we present to our readers the following list of American Fascisti:

    1. Lawrence Dennis – was a leading light in the American fascist movement of the 1930s. He was a fan of Hitler and a self-avowed anti-Semite. A book titled “The Colour of Fascism” by Gerald Horne revealed that Dennis was actually black – although even his wife didn’t know. The BBC reported, “Lawrence Dennis was, arguably, the brains behind American fascism. He attended the Nuremberg rallies, had a personal audience with Mussolini, and met Nazi leaders; throughout the 1930s he provided the intellectual ballast for America’s bourgeoning pro-fascist movement. But though his work was well known and well appreciated by the intelligentsia and political elites on both sides of the Atlantic, there was one crucial fact about him that has never emerged until now: he was black.” So, history tells us that the first American Fascisti was a black man. Hold on to that thought as you will see a connection to what is happening in America today.
    2. The Ku Klux Klan – In Madison Square Garden, New York City, from June 24 to July 9, 1924, at the Democratic National Convention, a dispute during came up revolving around an attempt by non-Klan delegates, led by Forney Johnston of Alabama, to condemn the organization for its violence in the Democratic Party’s platform. But Ku Klux Klan delegates defeated the platform plank in a series of floor debates. To celebrate, tens of thousands of hooded Klansmen rallied in a field in New Jersey, across the river from New York City. This event, known subsequently as the “Klanbake”, was also attended by hundreds of Klan delegates to the convention, who burned crosses, urged violence and intimidation against African Americans and Catholics, and attacked effigies of Smith. The final vote was 546.15 for the Klan, 542.85 against it. The KKK was and remains American Fascisti.
    3. The 34 members of the KKK over time including one Supreme Court Justice, 11 members of the U.S. Senate, 3 House members, 6 governors, 1 Federal Judge. The KKK elected officials were all Democrats with the exception of David Duke who ran for president as both a Democrat and Republican. The most recent member of the KKK was Democrat Senator Robert Carlyle Byrd from West Virginia for over 51 years, from 1959 until his death in 2010. Byrd also served as a U.S. Representative for six years, from 1953 until 1959. Byrd was a recruiter for the Ku Klux Klan while in his 20s and 30s, rising to the title of Kleagle. Among those who gave eulogies at Byrd’s funeral were: Bill Clinton, Barack and Michele Obama. Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., during the memorial service held for Byrd, said, “Bishop, Reverend Clergy, Mona and Marjorie, the entire Byrd family — if you didn’t already know it, it’s pretty clear the incredible esteem your father was held in.  I know you’ve known that your whole life…Well, if there was ever a senator who was the embodiment of his state, if there was ever a senator who, in fact, reflected his state, it was Robert C. Byrd…After I was elected 1972 as a 29-year-old kid, I was number 100 out of 100 in Senate seniority.  And Leader Byrd offered up — he was then the whip — he offered his office to me to come down from Delaware so I could have a place to interview staff members… I said of him when I learned of his death, I was on an errand for the President [Obama] in Cleveland, and I said, ‘You know, to paraphrase the poet, we shall not see his like again.‘”
    4. EPA Administrator Michael Regan. Reagan, who is black like Lawrence David, recently used the power of his office to impose “stronger standards.” In remarks made by Regan on March 7th, 2022 Regan said, “Today the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing new, stronger standards to promote clean air and reduce pollution from heavy-duty vehicles and engines starting in model year (MY) 2027. The proposed standards would reduce emissions of smog- and soot-forming nitrogen oxides (NOx) from heavy-duty gasoline and diesel engines and set updated greenhouse gas (GHG) standards for certain commercial vehicle categories.  This proposed rule would ensure the heavy-duty vehicles and engines that drive American commerce and connect people across the country are as clean as possible while charting a path to advance zero-emission vehicles in the heavy-duty fleet.” Regan’s “Clean Trucks Plan” proposed revisions to existing GHG standards for MY2027 and beyond would “set updated GHG emissions standards for subsectors where electrification is advancing at a more rapid pace.  These sectors include school buses, transit buses, commercial delivery trucks, and short-haul tractors. In a separate action, EPA will be setting new GHG emissions standards for heavy-duty vehicles as soon as model year 2030. This action will more comprehensively address the longterm trend towards zero emissions vehicles across the heavy-duty sector.” Regan is the embodiment of severe economic and social regimentation.
    5. Democrat Pete Buttigieg’s husband Chasten led elementary school children in a pledge of allegiance to the rainbow flag. The Biden administration is filled with LGBTQ persons and supporters. Among them is Biden’s Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg. Pete’s partner, Chasten James Glezman Buttigieg, is an American teacher, writer, LGBTQ rights advocate. On March 7th, 2022 The New York Post reported, “Vice President Kamala Harris and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg were criticized Monday for a “tone-deaf” event focused on promoting electric buses as gas prices soared for most Americans. Rep. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.), a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, tweeted, “The Biden Administration could not be more tone-deaf.” “Vice President Kamala Harris and [Transportation] Secretary Pete Buttigieg spent the afternoon promoting electric vehicles and Green New Deal policies. “Are you kidding me?” Mullin wrote. Pete Buttigieg said, “you don’t have to worry about gas prices if you buy an electric vehicle.” Pete and Chasten Buttigieg are the embodiment of severe economic and social regimentation and Chasten exalts the LGBTQ flag over the American flag.
    6. Black Lives Matter (BLM). On February 6th, 2022 a Black Lives Matter speaker encouraged protesters to burn police precincts and show “absolute hate” toward their “oppressors” in a violent tirade during a protest in Minneapolis over the police shooting death of 22-year-old Amir Locke, who was killed after police executed a no-knock warrant in an apartment. “Fill your anger fully. Be mad. Be mad! Because your anger is justified,” the young man shouted into a megaphone. The BLM speaker continued with, “Build barricades. Burn precincts! Reappropriate everything that they have stolen from us for generations! Power to the looters, power to the rioters!“ Recently, a private school in D.C. marched kindergartners through halls holding BLM signs and chanting “Black Lives Matter.” BLM puts race above the individual and law and order. BLM stands for a centralized autocratic black government and their members forcibly suppress any and all opposition.
    7. Anti-Fascists are the new American Fascisti. reported, “The suspect arrested over the car-ramming attack against “Freedom Convoy” anti-vaccine mandate protesters in Winnipeg is an Antifa member with a long history of far-left militant activism in Canada. David Alexander Zegarac, 42, of Headingley, Manitoba, allegedly sped off in his Jeep Patriot to try to escape after the incident last Friday, which injured four people and was caught on camera. Zegarac ran multiple lights and resisted arrest when he was finally caught around 40 minutes later, according to the Winnipeg police.”

The Bottom Line

As time goes by we see a growing number of American Fascisti coming out of the political closet under Biden and his administration. These American Fascisti are being put into key cabinet and government positions to push an agenda of oppression.

The new American Fascisti support:

  1. A centralized autocratic government,
  2. Exalting race over individual liberty and Constitutional rights,
  3. Implementation of severe economic and social regimentation via the Red/Green/Rainbow/Build Back Better alliances,
  4. And, finally, suppression, oppression, imprisonment and torture against those who oppose them and their political philosophy.

The legacy media (NYT, WaPo), social media (FB, Twitter, Google), corporations (Apple, Walt Disney) and the Democrat Party are the new American Fascisti.

They are open about their agenda to fundamentally transform America into a Fascist regime that fits their political philosophy and movements. Watch:

With Americans Unable to Buy Gas, Biden Wants to Spend $2,600,000,000 on Global Gender Equality

By Jihad Watch

Americans are struggling to pay for gas, buy bread and meat, but the progressive regime always has money to burn on its political causes.

President Biden will request $2.6 billion for foreign assistance programs that promote general equality worldwide, he announced on International Women’s Day on Tuesday.

How about promoting the ability of Americans to work, eat, drive, and be able to pay their bills?

“Ensuring that every woman and girl has that chance isn’t just the right thing to do — it’s also a strategic imperative that advances the prosperity, stability, and security of our nation and the world,” Biden falsely claimed.

No, moving money to assorted leftist international groups is not a strategic imperative for America, just for the Left.

It has nothing to do with our “prosperity, stability, and security”.

If Biden wants to aid our “prosperity, stability, and security,” he can start by stopping the spending machine so that inflation doesn’t eat Americans alive.

And if he wants to help women, he can stop smelling their hair, groping them, and sexually assaulting them.

NYT journalist says “crazier leftist sh*t” influences reporting

By Project Veritas

Project Veritas released Part 2 of its series on NYT reporter, Matthew Rosenberg today.

This story focuses on statements Rosenberg makes about the infamous Trump “pee tape,” what happens inside The New York Times, and his confidential sources in agencies like the CIA and NSA.

Here are some of the highlights from today’s video:

  • Rosenberg on infamous pee tape: “It involved CIA and NSA. It involved Trump and involved that ridiculous, like, ‘pee tape’, which of course doesn’t exist.”
  • Rosenberg: “I think there’s like a real internal tug of war [at NYT] between, like the reasonable people and some of the crazier leftist sh*t that’s worked its way in there.”
  • Rosenberg said his colleagues at the NYT were “not the clearest thinkers, some of them” before calling the people that end up at the paper “very neurotic people.”
  • Rosenberg on colleague Adam Goldman: “He’s a terrible writer…He’s just not good at conceptualizing things. He’s not good with words. It’s a skill. It’s a hard one.”
  • Rosenberg on the NYT’s ongoing lawsuit with Project Veritas: “James O’Keefe, that was a f*ck up. We may well lose that one.”

You can watch the video HERE.

When I interviewed him in the streets of Washington DC, Rosenberg said he “absolutely” stands by the comments made in the undercover footage.

Let’s see if The New York Times itself also does…still crickets from them so far.

Illegal Immigrant Murders 4 in Jurisdiction of Sheriff Sued for Reporting Alien Criminals to ICE

By Judicial Watch

Months after a California sheriff got sued for reporting undocumented criminals to federal authorities, an illegal immigrant with a criminal history murdered four people in the veteran law enforcement official’s jurisdiction just days after being released from jail. The brutal crimes occurred in Sacramento, California where Sheriff Scott Jones was recently sued by a leftist civil rights group for transferring illegal alien offenders to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for removal rather than release them back into the community under state sanctuary laws known as the TRUTH Act and the California Values Act. The first one, which went into effect in 2017, requires that local police give criminals in the U.S. illegally a written notice of their transfer to ICE. The second, which was enacted a year later, forbids all California law enforcement agencies from using funds or employees to “investigate, interrogate, detain or arrest persons for immigration enforcement purposes.” The measure is also known as SB 54.

The Golden State’s outrageous sanctuary laws protected 39-year-old Mexican national David Mora-Rojas from deportation after at least two encounters with the law. In April 2021, the mother of his three children obtained a restraining order against him after a domestic violence incident, according to the Sacremento County Sheriff’s Office, which confirms that the order specifically states Mora-Rojas cannot own or possess firearms or ammunition. On February 23, 2022, Mora-Rojas was arrested Merced County about 115 miles south of Sacramento for driving under the influence, assaulting a police officer, and assaulting medical staff. ICE served a detainer on the jail, but state sanctuary laws prohibited Merced officials from holding Mora-Rojas or communicating with ICE about his release, so the illegal immigrant walked out of jail on a $15,000 bond.

Five days later Mora-Rojas shot his three daughters and a court-ordered chaperone at a Sacramento church before shooting himself. The girls were nine, 10 and 13 years old. Mora-Rojas used an Armalite Rifle (AR) style gun with no serial number or manufacturer makings, according to the Sacramento Sheriff’s Office, which describes it as a Privately Made Firearm (PMF). The rifle had an extended 30-round magazine inserted and 17 casings were found at the scene. The horrific crimes occurred on February 28 at around 5 p.m. at the Church in Sacramento which is located in a residential neighborhood. The church issued a statement expressing shock and sadness, “resulting in the deaths of five of our members,” which seems to include the shooter. One Sacramento news report says court documents paint a disturbing picture of verbal and physical abuse inflicted by Mora-Rojas on the mother of his three kids, yet he was allowed to remain in the country illegally.

In the tragedy’s aftermath, Sheriff Jones is publicly expressing outrage. The 33-year law enforcement veteran is currently serving his third term as the top cop in the central California county of around 1.6 million that includes the state’s capitol. In a social media post Jones writes that “there is only ONE thing that allowed this horrific tragedy to occur with certainty: the deplorable state of our national immigration policies, and California’s Sanctuary State Laws.” Jones warns that liberals and activists will try to spin the narrative, dredge up sympathy for the monster that killed the victims and focus on the horrors of ghost guns. “When I was invited to the White House by President Trump in 2018 to discuss immigration failures in our country, I described California’s Sanctuary State law as creating ‘spectacular failures’ all over this state,” Jones writes. “I was criticized in The [Sacramento] Bee and elsewhere for that statement, but I defy them now to color this tragic event any other way.”

In November Jones was sued by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) for transferring illegal immigrants convicted of state crimes to federal authorities. The group claims that collaborating with the feds—rather than releasing illegal alien offenders back into the community—compounds racial disparities in the policing, immigration, and criminal justice systems, in which black and Latinx communities are disproportionately targeted for arrest, detention, and deportation. In the federal complaint the ACLU accuses Jones and his agency of violating California sanctuary laws by reporting illegal immigrants jailed for committing local crimes to ICE upon completing their sentence. The offenders are eligible to return to their home and communities in the U.S. but instead are enduring a “cruel double punishment,” according to the ACLU attorney who filed the lawsuit on behalf of the illegal aliens. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s “anti-immigrant agenda” harms communities, the ACLU lawyer asserts. The group has failed to issue a statement or comment on the Mora-Rojas murders, which could have been prevented if he were deported after his first encounter with local law enforcement.
