Arizona AG opens probe into voter SHARPIE complaints in Maricopa County
By: Sara Carter, November 4, 2020:

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich is investigating claims that hundreds of ballots were tossed or rejected by the use of sharpies being passed out by people at voter locations in Maricopa County, as well as other polling stations in the state.
“We’ve received hundreds of voter complaints regarding Sharpies at polling locations”
Brnovich tweeted out a letter sent by Arizona Deputy Solicitor General Michael Catlett demanding Maricopa County Director of Election Day and Emergency Voting Scott Jenson answer questions regarding complaints lodged by hundreds of voters who may have been disenfranchised because they were given Sharpies to fill out their ballots.
Maricopa County has a significantly higher Republican base and concern that ballots were tossed or not counted began Tuesday with voters complaining on social media platforms, as well as complaints being lodged with the Emergency Voting Office, according to reports.
“We have received hundreds of voter complaints regarding Sharpies at polling locations,” said Brnovich. “Accordingly, we sent this letter to Maricopa County election officials. Let’s get some answers.”
In the letter, Catlett said the election board must answer his questions by Nov. 5. He wants to know which voting centers provided the sharpies and where they are located. More importantly, he wants to know how many ballots at those centers were rejected because of over-votes – mainly the ink from the sharpie leaked onto the backside of the ballot.
“Were the ballot tabulation machines utilized at voting centers on Election Day programmed to reject over-voted ballots,” he asked. He also asked the Maricopa County Election board what the process is for cancelling a voters ballot? If a ballot is reflected as “cancelled” on the Secretary of State’s website, what does that mean for the voter?

Trump Will ‘Immediately’ Request A Recount In Wisconsin, Campaign Manager Bill Stepien Announces

President Donald Trump will “immediately” request a recount of votes in Wisconsin, campaign manager Bill Stepien announced in a statement Wednesday.
“Despite ridiculous public polling used as a voter suppression tactic, Wisconsin has been a razor thin race as we always knew that it would be,” Stepien wrote. “There have been reports of irregularities in several Wisconsin counties which raise serious doubts about the validity of the results. The President is well within the threshold to request a recount and we will immediately do so.”
The campaign’s statement came just one hour after Wisconsin election officials announced that former Vice President Joe Biden held a roughly 20,000-vote lead over Trump after “all of the ballots” had been counted.
https://twitter.com/travisakers/status/1324025795312906243?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1324025795312906243%7Ctwgr%5Eshare_3&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fdailycaller.com%2F2020%2F11%2F04%2Ftrump-campaign-manager-wisconsin-recount-immediately%2F

It should be noted that though his margin of victory in 2016 was small enough to trigger a recount in the state, a Trump-supporting super PAC filed a suit blocking recounts in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
Based on the results tabulated Tuesday and Wednesday morning, Trump would need to win two of the aforementioned states, plus Georgia and North Carolina, to secure reelection.
The president spent much of Wednesday questioning the yet to be finalized results in Wisconsin and five other battleground states.
“Last night I was leading, often solidly, in many key States, in almost all instances Democrat run & controlled,” he wrote in a message Twitter eventually marked as misleading. “Then, one by one, they started to magically disappear as surprise ballot dumps were counted. VERY STRANGE, and the “pollsters” got it completely & historically wrong!”

‘I Have Cash’: Joe Biden Offered Financial Assistance To Hunter, Texts Show

  • Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden offered his son financial assistance at least four times between November 2018 and March 2019, text messages show.
  • The texts cut against allegations that Joe Biden benefited financially from Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings.
  • The Daily Caller News Foundation obtained a copy of Hunter Biden’s alleged hard drive on Wednesday. While a review of the drive is ongoing, no evidence has yet surfaced showing Joe Biden reaped financial benefits from his son’s business dealings.

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden offered Hunter Biden financial assistance on at least four occasions between November 2018 and March 2019, text messages obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation show.
The texts cut against allegations that Joe Biden benefited financially from his son’s foreign business dealings.
“Dad can you please cash app me $2,000,” Hunter Biden texted Joe Biden on March 15, 2019. “I’m again overdrawn in my account for bills that can’t be left unpaid.”
“I’ll have it all paid back next week I hope,” Hunter Biden texted his father after he was asked if the transfer went through.
The texts were on a hard drive that Hunter Biden allegedly dropped off at a Delaware computer repair shop in April 2019 but never retrieved. Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani provided the DCNF with a copy of the drive on Wednesday.
The DCNF has not been able to review all of the more than 40,000 emails and scores of text messages on the drive, but no direct evidence has yet surfaced showing that Joe Biden reaped any sort of financial benefit from Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings.
A cybersecurity expert previously authenticated a key email from the laptop that the New York Post called “smoking gun” evidence that Joe Biden was introduced by his son to a Burisma executive in 2015.
Hunter Biden appears to have been under financial strain around the time he texted his father asking for financial assistance. Emails and other records on the hard drive show that Hunter Biden owed $37,000 a month in alimony payments to his ex-wife, Kathleen Buhle Biden, following their divorce in 2017. [CLICK HERE FOR TEXT]
An email from the drive reveals that Hunter Biden was stuck at a rest stop on March 6, 2019, with no money to buy gas awaiting a $50,000 wire for his company, Owasco, LLC. [CLICK HERE TO SEE THE EMAIL]
“Buddy do you have cash app to send me … $100 until wire goes,” Hunter Biden emailed his business partner Jeff Cooper. “I have no I have no money for gas and im literally stuck at a rest stop on 95 on my way from Boston to DC.”
On March 1, 2019, Joe Biden texted Hunter Biden about his daughter, asking: “Do you want me to do anything about Maisy dentist bill.”
“Let me know if you need anything cash,” Joe Biden said in another text to Hunter Biden on Feb. 6, 2019.
And in a Nov. 28, 2018, text, Joe Biden told his son: “Do you need anything. I have cash. Love Dad.
Joe Biden received a financial windfall of his own after he left the White House in 2017. He signed a book deal valued at $8 million in April 2017, according to Publishers Weekly, and he and his wife reported a combined adjusted gross income of $16.6 million in their 2017, 2018 and 2019 tax returns.
Joe Biden’s offers of financial assistance came after Hunter Biden received a much-publicized May 2017 email that suggested he would hold a 10% stake in a joint Chinese business venture for the “big guy,” a reference to the former vice president, according to Hunter’s former business partner Tony Bobulinski.
However, corporate records for the joint venture reviewed by the DCNF show no indication that Joe Biden obtained any off-the-books stake in the firm when it was finalized later in May 2017.
Joe Biden campaign spokesman Andrew Bates said in a statement in October that the former vice president “has never even considered being involved in business with his family, nor in any overseas business whatsoever. He has never held stock in any such business arrangements nor has any family member or any other person ever held stock for him.”

Evidence of Massive Election Tampering

UPDATE: Wisconsin
Comparing the latest number of registered Wisconsin voters (3,684,726) to the number of votes cast in Wisconsin (3,297,137) would mean that 89.5% (3,297,137 / 3,684,726) of Wisconsin voters voted.
How often has 90%± of any state’s voters ever voted on anything?
As a point of reference, here are the voter turnout rates for the 2016 national election — very hotly contested. The highest of any state was 74%. A 90% voter turnout for an entire state would be a phenomenal record.

DHS: Twitter Censorship ‘Threat to Security’

On the eve of U.S. elections, where candidates have significant differences on U.S. immigration policy, Twitter censorship shut down the account of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Mark Morgan.
Morgan had attempted to tweet out the following information, which was flagged by the tech giant for violating its rules on hateful and violent content:

Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Chad Wolf called the censorship a “threat to security” in a letter to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, saying it served to “cut off an essential mode of communication between U.S. government officials and the public. In doing so, Twitter is sabotaging public discourse regarding important national and homeland security issues.”
Further, Wolf said, suppressing the tweet constituted “obstructing Americans’ inalienable right to communicate with each other and with their government and its officials.”
The issue of illegal immigration is a point of contention between President Donald Trump and his Democrat challenger, former Vice President Joe Biden.
While building a border wall and allowing for only legal, vetted immigration has been a central tenet of Trump’s domestic policy, Biden and his party have been vehemently opposed to the wall as well as Trump’s limits to immigration.
Biden has vowed, if elected, to cancel the current administration’s temporary ban on immigration from Iran, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Chad, North Korea and Venezuela, which he characterizes as a “Muslim ban.”
The temporary pause in immigration from these countries (two of which are not Muslim) is due to the fact that current vetting procedures were not deemed sufficient to counter the security risks from immigrants from these countries.
In its recently-released report, “Homeland Threat Assessment 2020,” the DHS identified immigration as an important homeland security threat for 2021.
In addition to expected immigration surges at the southwest border from the Caribbean and Central and South American countries (looking for post-pandemic economic opportunities), the Center for Immigration Studies says the DHS is predicting “surges in migration from outside the Western Hemisphere, among them unspecified national security ‘threat actors,’” a likely reference, in part, to terrorist travelers who would stand a better chance of disappearing in a huge, smothering crowd.
The Threat Assessment report states, “Although the majority of migrants do not pose a national security or public safety threat, pathways used by migrants to travel to the United States have been exploited by threat actors. As a result, surges of migrants could undermine our ability to effectively secure the border.”
The Twitter censorship of the CBP tweet took place just hours after Dorsey concluded his testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee after he was summoned to explain why his company had shut down the Twitter account of the New York Post to suppress a story unfavorable to Biden.
In his letter to Dorsey, Wolf pointed out the information in the tweet was supported by data. In addition, Wolf told Dorsey,

“Whether you know it or not, CBP guards the front line of the American homeland. CBP repels and arrests thousands of violent criminal gang members each year. CBP rescues young girls who are forced into cross-border sex trafficking. CBP intercepts dangerous drugs and contraband, including enough of the opioid fentanyl to kill every man, woman, and child in the United States several times over.
“CBP fulfills the United States’ most obvious and essential law enforcement and national security responsibility to the people of our country. Your company may choose to be ignorant of these facts, but it is no less censorship when you choose to suppress them.
“There was no reason to remove Mr. Morgan’s tweet from your platform, other than ideological disagreement with the speaker. Such censorship is disturbing. Twitter’s conduct censoring U.S. government officials also endangers the national security.
“It is dangerous and damaging when any publisher arbitrarily and unfoundedly decides, as it did here, that the facts and policies of a particular Presidential Administration constitute ‘violence’—in order to censor them.”

Wolf also noted that the “gross censorship” was not accidental. After the CBP’s tweet was censored and Morgan’s account shut down, the CBP appealed the decision to Twitter, but Twitter denied the appeal. Only after the CBP went public with the story did Twitter unlock the account.
Twitter may think it is acting in the service of the underprivileged through its censorship, however, it only weakens the foundations of law and order by ignoring the threat to the U.S. posed by extremists and other nefarious actors — and denying the American people the opportunity to choose how to protect themselves.
Moreover, when criminal gangs, sex traffickers and drug dealers perceive that entry into the country is easy, they are only emboldened. With their increased ability to harm, more innocents become their victims.

Hunter Biden Emails, Texts Raise Questions That Need Answers

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has long denied that he has any knowledge of, or involvement in, the questionable business dealings of his son, Hunter Biden, or his brother, James Biden. But a deluge of revelations from a laptop reported to have belonged to Hunter Biden and from the on-the-record statements of Hunter Biden and James Biden’s former business partner, Tony Bobulinski, seem to undermine that claim.
The New York Post published an article Oct. 14 that summarizes the contents of an unencrypted laptop reportedly abandoned at a Delaware computer repair store in April 2019 by Hunter Biden. Both Facebook and Twitter blocked access to this Post article.
The laptop contained “a treasure trove of top-secret material,” according to the Daily Mail, including personal phone numbers for Joe Biden, the Clintons, Secret Service officers, and other senior executive officials. It was secured simply by the password “Hunter02.”
Among the information retrieved from the laptop was an email—its authenticity confirmed by cybersecurity expert Robert Graham—from Vadym Pozharskyi to Hunter Biden thanking him for the opportunity to meet with his father, Joe Biden, while he was vice president.

When the elections end, the work begins. Learn what the election results mean for the future of America now >>

Pozharskyi was an adviser to the board of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, on which Hunter Biden sat and earned millions of dollars despite his complete lack of experience in the energy industry.
Joe Biden, while vice president, was successful in getting a Ukrainian prosecutor fired for investigating Burisma after a pressure campaign that apparently included threatening to withhold U.S. military aid from Ukraine.
After the New York Post published that article, and a follow-up article purportedly showing how Hunter Biden tried to leverage his family name in a business deal with China’s largest private energy company, a group of 50 former intelligence officials published a letter claiming that these revelations looked like a Russian disinformation campaign, despite admitting that they “do not have evidence of Russian involvement.”
Their unsubstantiated claim was undermined when Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe confirmed there was no evidence that these revelations were part of any Russian disinformation campaign, and when the cybersecurity expert, Graham, confirmed the authenticity of the email from Pozharskyi to Hunter Biden.
The former intelligence officials’ claim was further undermined when the former business partner of Hunter Biden, Bobulinski, corroborated many of the emails and text messages revealed by the New York Post and provided more of his own.
Bobulinski said he came forward only because he was offended by the false claims of Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, who said these revelations about the Bidens were part of a Russian disinformation campaign.
Bobulinski is a former U.S. Navy officer with top security clearances, who served honorably and received decorations, including the Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal—as confirmed by the Navy.
In an interview last week with Tucker Carlson of Fox News, Bobulinski explained that he had two meetings with Joe Biden in 2017 concerning the proposed joint venture with a Chinese energy firm. In his telling, he, Hunter Biden, and James Biden aimed to enter into a joint venture with the Chinese firm CEFC China Energy.
Bobulinski reported that Hunter Biden kept Joe Biden in the loop about the deal and even arranged for Bobulinski to meet the former vice president to talk “at a high level” about the business venture.
What’s more, according to Bobulinski, Hunter Biden treated $5 million contributed to the joint venture by CEFC as his “personal piggybank,” and was going to hold 10% of those funds for his father, whom the parties to the agreement referred to as “the big guy.”
Bobulinski also reported that Joe Biden exercised veto authority over Bobulinski’s attempts to impose corporate governance formalities on the newly created joint venture.
According to Bobulinski, Hunter and James Biden went to great lengths to maintain what James Biden called “plausible deniability” of Joe Biden’s involvement.
Since these and other revelations have come to light, Joe Biden and his campaign have not denied any of the specific allegations. They have, however, continued to maintain that Joe Biden has not been involved in any business dealings with his family.
Notably, however, a recent campaign statement dropped the line that Joe Biden never has had knowledge of his family’s business dealings.
Biden’s campaign also has said, without offering evidence, that these revelations are “smears” and part of a Russian disinformation campaign.
A fuller examination of all the revelations to date, in addition to scrutiny of the media’s attempts to bury the story, may be found in journalist Glenn Greenwald’s comprehensive write-up here and columnist Kimberley A. Strassel’s article here.
Our more limited purpose now is to ask, why does this matter?
If true, these revelations confirm that Hunter and James Biden leveraged Joe Biden’s position of power to gain access to financial opportunities with politically connected foreign companies that they were otherwise unqualified for.
This is not, however, new. That Hunter and James Biden have traded on Joe Biden’s influence and power has been known for a long time.
What is new is that these revelations, if true, reveal that Joe Biden knew about these activities, permitted them, and may have participated in them. The American people deserve a fuller explanation from Biden as to the extent of his participation or involvement.
The revelations renew concerns that Biden had possibly used his authority as vice president to aid his son’s business dealings with Burisma in Ukraine, and therefore raise the question whether he would do so again as president.
They also raise questions about serious potential conflicts of interest Biden would face as president between his family on the one hand and the politically connected businesses with whom they are involved on the other.
For example, the chairman of CEFC, Ye Jianming, is (or, perhaps, was; he has disappeared) extremely well connected to Chinese President Xi Jinping, who also is general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, in addition to other foreign leaders.
In 2017, federal prosecutors arrested another of CEFC’s officers and alleged that he used bribes to secure oil deals in Chad and Uganda, brokered arms deals, and tried to circumvent American sanctions on Iran.
What’s more, while Hunter and James Biden were trying to enter into the joint venture with CEFC, the Chinese energy firm was simultaneously attempting to acquire a 14% ownership stake in Russian state-owned energy company Rosneft, even though it was under heavy American sanctions.
According to Bobulinski, this discovery worried him so much that he pulled out of the joint venture. Not so, however, Hunter Biden. According to text messages that Bobulinski released, and which were shown during his interview with Carlson, Hunter Biden went on to serve as Jianming’s legal counsel in the United States.
In fact, it has been reported that the FBI “took possession of a copy of the computer hard drive” on Hunter Biden’s laptop last December. And a Department of Justice official now has confirmed that the FBI has an active investigation into Hunter Biden and his associates that was opened in 2019 over allegations of possible money laundering.
The FBI has not, however, said whether it is investigating Hunter Biden and his work on behalf of Burisma under the Foreign Agents Registration Act—the law used by special counsel Robert Mueller to go after 2016 Trump campaign officials Paul Manafort and Richard Gates.
Mueller also threatened to use the law against Gen. Michael Flynn’s son to get Flynn, President Donald Trump’s first national security adviser, to plead guilty to a charge of lying to federal agents. Flynn is seeking to withdraw that guilty plea with the support of the Justice Department, which says it has dropped the case against Flynn.
The Foreign Agents Registration Act has been around for over 80 years, but has seen only a few prosecutions at least until recently, including when Mueller decided to use it against former Trump associates. The law requires Americans doing political or advocacy work on behalf of foreign interests, including foreign companies such as Ukraine’s Burisma, to register with the Justice Department and file detailed disclosures about their work.
Under 22 U.S.C. § 611, the Foreign Agents Registration Act applies to someone who represents the “interests of such foreign principal before any agency of official of the Government of the United States.” That would certainly seem to apply to any individual who arranges meetings with, and lobbies, the vice president on behalf of a foreign energy company.
Yet, there is no indication of any investigation of Hunter Biden under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, in contrast to the enforcement actions taken against Manafort and Gates. Interestingly, the inspector general of the Justice Department issued a report in 2016 suggesting a lack of enforcement of this law by the department.
Americans deserve a fuller explanation from several sources on these allegations and their relationship to each other. We should be asking:
1. On what evidence do Joe Biden, Schiff, and the 50 former national security officials base their claim that these allegations are part of a Russian disinformation claim?
2. Has the FBI uncovered evidence that Joe Biden played a more active role in his son’s foreign business dealings?
3. Has the FBI formally declined to pursue an investigation into Hunter Biden under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, and if so, why?
The media, law enforcement, and Congress should pursue the answers to these questions as vigorously as they pursued allegations surrounding the current president and his associates.
