Election Integrity Remains a Fault Line Between RINOs and the Grassroots

Sen. Murkowski says she opposes the SAVE America Act which would require voter ID. Murkowski said: a person living on a small Alaska island would not be able to vote if the SAVE America Act was passed because they would have to travel all the way to Anchorage to get an ID. An Unalaska (island) resident confirmed voting takes place at City Hall and said residents “Don’t have to go to Anchorage [to register to vote or obtain ID].”
GOP strategist Matt Locke says, the real problem is that President Trump’s agenda hasn’t advanced because of RINO Republicans. “The John Thune’s of the party, they like the old ways, they like being in charge, they like telling the President what to do” Locke said, “Now you have these Republicans who are used to the old ways, who want to run everything who can’t, so they’re going to step in and try to do as much damage as they can do, to outlast Trump and get the power back.”
WYOMING

Wyoming voters reject Freedom Caucus incumbents across the board, perhaps because of focus on spending cuts. “Establishment Republicans annihilated Freedom Caucus. ”WY’s results crushed the conservative narrative that establishment Republicans are out-of-touch “RINOs.”

What Is a RINO?
Our working definition of a RINO is a Republican who meets one or more of these criteria:
- Votes with Democrats against a Republican majority
- Endorses Democrats
- Takes money from Democrat-aligned sources
- Doesn’t care about immigration, election integrity, limited government under the Constitution, free markets, or fiscal responsibility
- Votes for more Democrat social spending
- Wants open primaries
- Is a former Democrat who ran as a Republican as the only way to get elected in a red state
- Doesn’t stand for anything except reelection and personal enrichment
