Now that the revolting Communist Zohran Mamdani has been elected mayor of New York City, we can expect New Yorkers to flee the once Big Apple for South Florida en masse. Miami Mayor Francis Suarez in particular is eager to lure more of New York City’s financial firms to Miami. Suarez is rightly highlighting Miami’s business friendly environment, beautiful weather, safety, and fabulous quality of life to drive financial firms out of New York City and into Miami. New Yorkers flee to Florida amid fears of Mamdani’s socialist agenda and rising taxes

WASHINGTON (TNND) — In the months leading up to the New York City mayoral election, which self-described Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani won on Tuesday, Florida real estate developers have seen a boost in closed deals with New Yorker city residents fearful of the impact Mamdani’s policies would have on their wallets and the city’s public safety.

Miami based real estate developer Isaac Toledano, CEO of BH Group, shared with Fox News Business that in the past few months alone, his company signed more than $100 million contracts with New York buyers. Toledano said that this is about twice of contracts signed all of last year by New York buyers. He said was not surprising to see an uptick of New York buyers seeking to flee the state amid concern of a Mamdani administration, but said the demand was “higher than expected.”
