Did You Know Patriots and Traitors Have Their Own Religions—Here’s How They Differ.

By Dr. Rich Swier

“Liberty is never unalienable; it must be redeemed regularly with the blood of patriots or it always vanishes. Of all the so-called natural human rights that have ever been invented, liberty is least likely to be cheap and is never free of cost.” ― Robert A. Heinlein, Starship Troopers.

“By its very nature, politics appears to be a system that has great difficulty preserving what the patriot dreamt of and died for.” ― Craig D. Lounsbrough

“A patriot is not someone who condones the conduct of our country whatever it does. It is someone who fights every day for the ideals of the country, whatever it takes.” ― Kamala Harris, The Truths We Hold: An American Journey.

“It’s not unpatriotic to denounce an injustice committed on our behalf, perhaps it’s the most patriotic thing we can do.” ― E.A. Bucchianeri, Brushstrokes of a Gadfly.

Historian and author Christopher Dawson in 1948 wrote,

“Religion is the key to history. We cannot understand the inner form of a society unless we understand its religion. We cannot understand its cultural achievements unless we understand the religious beliefs that lie behind them. In all ages the first creative works of a culture are due to a religious inspiration and dedicated to a religious end.”

History tells us that in every culture, every nation state and every political party there are patriots and traitors. Each holds onto its “religion.”

Both patriots and traitors have a system of beliefs which form their “religion.” These beliefs come from a true religion (i.e. Judaism or Christianity) or they are derived from a political ideology that morphs (transforms itself) into a “belief system” with all of the “characteristics of a religion.”

The trick is to recognize which is which.

Data published by the Cooperative Election Study found that 48.5% of Gen Z identifies as either agnostic, atheist or nonreligious, a 3% increase from the previous year and another study from last month found that only 31% believe religion is “very important.”

However, this doesn’t mean that Gen Z doesn’t believe in something.

Joshua Mercer, co-founder of The Catholic Vote said,

“[I]t’s not that Gen Z isn’t religious, it’s that they picked a new religion. They have fervent beliefs and rituals, they have their symbols and sacraments, and they definitely purge their ranks of ‘blasphemers’ or anyone insufficiently dedicated to their faith. Look at how every corporation rushes to embrace the rainbow flag every June and look at how people adorn their social media platforms with symbols to show solidarity with Black Lives Matter, Covid vaccination, Ukraine, or climate change.

They are definitely evangelizing, [i]t’s just not Christianity.”

The Religion of Traitors

Both traitors and patriots have very strong beliefs. Beliefs that they will fight to preserve and protect.

For traitors it boils down to what they have been fed in our public schools, colleges and universities. These religions are myths perpetrated to do one thing and one thing only, empower one group over another. Wither it is race/racist based, gender based, climate based or simply a political system derived from the teachings of Marx, Trotsky and Lenin, it becomes their religion.

Karl Marx famously stated that “religion… ist das Opium des Volkes,” meaning “religion… is the opiate of the masses.”

He argued that religion could be used by those in power to oppress workers and oppressed people.

Interestingly Marx never foresaw that his system of beliefs would become its own religion. Its own opiate of the masses in places like the former Soviet Union, China, Cuba, Venezuela, Brazil and even in America.

The Religion of Patriots

For patriots their religion is the three “Fs”. Faith in God, the traditional Family and Freedom from oppression. Today’s patriots have the same ideals as did the Founding Fathers.

Patriots hold on to their God and His Truth. For the truth has set them free.

Today, people of faith are being spied upon in America. People of faith are being imprisoned in American jails in our nations capital. Parents have been designated as “domestic terrorists” for standing up against those who want to groom our children to become the playthings of the tyrants, physically, emotionally and culturally.

People of faith are the true patriots because without faith and a moral people our Constitutional Republic cannot stand.

The Bottom Line

The Executive Director of the Institute for Human Ecology Joseph Capizzi stated,

“Loneliness, despair, unhappiness, and declines in worship and belief are connected. This is something people have known for centuries, long before the rise of social science. For instance, Christians have long believed that hope requires more than material progress. Believing in ‘progress’ — which is always ambivalent — cannot be a ground of hope; it will lead to despair. Instead, we must have experiences of great love to give our lives meaning. That can help explain why in an age of unprecedented material affluence we have so much hopelessness.”

Patriots believe in hope for the future of their children and grandchildren. Tyrants want to control future generations to keep themselves in power—forever!

These are the fundamental differences between the religion of patriots and political beliefs of the traitors.
