The uncontested absurdities of today are the accepted slogans of tomorrow. They come to be accepted by degrees, by dint of constant pressure on one side and constant retreat on the other – until one day when they are suddenly declared to be the country’s official ideology.

Our contributors, since we began publishing columns, have focused on one thing and one thing only – contesting the uncontested absurdities.

You see these absurdities that have now become public dogma are made up of myths. 

John F. Kennedy said,

“The great enemy of truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest, but the myth – persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.”

JFK understood that myths allow many to bathe in the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of critical thought.

We wrote this column after reading some headlines over the past few weeks, that on their face are absurd and are clearly political myths, pushed by the media which have now become public policy.

These myths have been relentlessly repeated so today, and even though these myths are absurd and unrealistic, many believe they’re the truth.

Today’s Uncontested Absurdities

Here is a list of some uncontested absurdities (myths) that have now become public policy:

1. USA Today fact checkers deny the existence of a woman. USA Today fact check quote, “Marsha Blackburn asked Ketanji Brown Jackson to define ‘woman.’ Science says there’s no simple answer.”
2. Nancy Pelosi states Biden is  “just perfect.” Pelosi’s exact words,  “Our country could not be more — it could not be better served, than with this most experienced, capable hands than yours, President Biden. He‘s just perfect! 3. NCAA promotion and celebration of a transgender male athlete in women’s sports. Mahri Irvine, the executive director of the Women’s Liberation Front (WoLF), said in a statement to The Daily Wire, “We are deeply disappointed by the NCAA’s promotion and celebration of a male athlete over the wellbeing of female athletes during the past few months. Lia Thomas has been portrayed by the NCAA as a woman who legitimately deserves to compete in women’s sports. However, nothing could be further from the truth.” Read more.
4. A Wisconsin school district says parents ‘not entitled’ to know child’s sexuality. A school district in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, has become the center of a parent-teacher firestorm after leaked documents revealed instructors told parents they must “earn” the right to know their children’s sexual identity, and showed the school pushed a “heterosexual privilege” checklist. The district’s aggressive push for “gender-nonconforming” accommodations has irked parents and educators who say the school’s training and policy changes surrounding the issue have gone too far. “The actions of the Eau Claire Area School District are not only dangerous to the mental, emotional and physical health of its students, but they also violate the constitutional rights of parents to make choices about their family life and upbringing of their children,” said Ian Prior, senior adviser at America First Legal and creator of the Fight for Schools PAC.
5. Justice correspondent for The Nation Elie Mystal states “The Constitution is kind of trash.” This was not a momentary aberration. On another outlet, a reporter asked him, “[A]re you arguing that the Constitution needs to be scrapped altogether?” He replied: “Sure…But, I don’t think that’s going to happen. Like, if we could throw that out and start over with a new document that was more inclusive of everybody, that was written by everybody—at no point have black people, brown people or women had a say in actually writing the Constitution or the amendments to that Constitution—if we could throw that out and have a delegation of all Americans to write a new one, I would be all for that.” Mystal also tweeted that he was proud to trigger “white wing media this morning by noting that their slaver’s organizing document is trash.”
6. Twitter Deplatforms The Babylon Bee for telling a joke. Twitter denied the Christian satire site The Babylon Bee’s appeal on Wednesday after it had its account locked down over a joke calling transgender HHS assistant secretary Dr. Rachel Levine a “man.” “Twitter has denied The Babylon Bee’s appeal. They wrote, ‘Our support team has determined that a violation did take place, and therefore we will not overturn our decision,’” Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon announced on Wednesday, March 23rd. The Babylon Bee’s unforgivable offense was to post an article on Sunday mocking USA Today for recently declaring the biological male Rachel Levine a “woman of the year.” “The Babylon Bee’s Man of the Year is Rachel Levine,” read the headline. Twitter then locked the site’s account for 12 hours on the condition they delete the tweet, alleging it violates the platform’s “hateful conduct” policy.
7. The Biden/Buttigieg Solution To High Gas Prices: ‘Take The Bus!’ In a Yahoo Finance interview Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg when asked about skyrocketing gasoline and diesel prices said, “We do have a lot of capacity in public transit.” Watch the full interview.
8. HHS Secretary Becerra Promotes Critical Race Theory-Based ‘Health Equity’ as Top Priority. During an address on Friday, March 22nd, marking the dubious milestone of his first year in office, Health and Human Services (HHS) Sec. Xavier Becerra identified “health equity” as his department’s top priority. “Health equity has to be part of everything we do,” Becerra said. “You will see health equity pervades everything we do.” You will recall that “equity” is not the same as “equality.” Equality is by definition anti-discrimination. Equity is discrimination — present discrimination against the white power structure in retaliation for past discrimination. Health equity operates under the assumption that the medical profession has been historically racist, and that health care needs to be “relearned” in order to “center on” black lives. The American Medical Association (AMA) issued a 54-page manifesto called “Advancing Health Equity” which teaches medical professionals how to agitate toward critical race theory-centric policies and practices.
9. INFANTICIDE: Democrats Propose Law That Would Allow BABIES TO BE KILLED Up to 28 days After Birth. Maryland Senate Bill 669 could be interpreted to allow for infanticide through the first month after the baby is born, a legal analyst says. Legislation proposed in the Maryland Senate would allow babies to be left to die for as long as the first 28 days after birth, according to analysis from a pro-life attorney. Senate Bill 669 is also known as the Pregnant Person’s Freedom Act of 2022, but the problems go beyond the use of “person” in place of accurate references to women having babies. Senator William Smith, a Democrat, sponsored the legislation, which will have a hearing on March 15. Read more.

The Bottom Line

Seven years ago we the people would have found it absurd that a political candidate for president would pay the Russians to create a dossier on their opponent and, with the help of the FBI and DOJ, use it to spy on subject candidate and continue to spy on him after his inauguration as President. None would have believed that the son of a life-long politician, who is now the sitting president, would be drug-addicted, into child pornography, have sex with underaged children, deal with companies that created chemical and biological weapons for the U.S. government and then leave his laptop with all of this information on it at a computer repair shop. It would be absurd to have a major company like Apple create a pregnant man and pregnant person emojis for their iPhones, iPads and computers. It would be unheard of for a female U.S. Senator to ask a female nominee for the Supreme Court of the United States to define what is a woman and that person can’t or won’t respond.

We are now in officially in the theatre of the absurd. What is dangerous and deadly is that these absurdities (myths) are now public policy.

Since the election of Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. we have seen absurdities on steroids. They’re going full speed ahead to implement the myths of climate change, vaccine mandates, mask mandates, health mandates, regulating what kind of cars and trucks Americans can buy and taking away our capitalist markets and turning them into Marxist centralized bureaucratic control from Washington,D.C.

Finally, Democrats, Biden, Schumer and Pelosi are delusional and to date refuse to take responsibility for what is happening domestically and globally.

They blame Putin for high energy prices when the energy prices rose well before any invasion of the Ukraine. They blame the unvaccinated for spreading Covid, when data shows the vaccinated are more likely to become infected with Covid even after three booster shots and 9 times more likely to get Covid and spread it than the unvaxxed.

It’s these absurd myths that are killing the American dream. Prove us wrong.
