Senator Ben Cardin: Sieg Heil!

I have a group that pushes back whenever we see anyone trashing the Constitution.  This time, my Champions of the Constitution Grassroots Network pushes back against Senator Ben Cardin, Democrat of Maryland.

Last week, he said: “If you espouse hate, if you espouse violence, you’re not protected under the First Amendment. I think we can be more aggressive in the way that we handle that type of use of the internet.” Wrong, but he later doubled down, saying, “Hate speech is protected under the First Amendment, unless it incites violence.”  Wrong again.

Senator Cardin doesn’t understand the First Amendment and shows very little fidelity to free speech.

Let’s start with hate speech.  You might not like it, but the First Amendment protects my right to stand on a street corner and say, “I hate Pollocks and you should hate them, too,” just to pick a group and ethnic slur at random.  In fact, I can organize a whole neo-Nazi parade and march right down the main street of Skokie, Illinois – a Jewish suburb of Chicago – to express hatred of Jews.  That was a famous case in the 1970s.  So, regardless of what you hear these days, hate speech is protected under the First Amendment.

Espousing violence is also protected.  The Supreme Court drew a line in 1969 that is still in place today.  In the case of Brandenburg v. Ohio, the Court ruled that espousing violence is protected speech.  Contrary to what Ben Cardin says, I can get up on a street corner and say, “Violence, generally speaking, is a good idea.  People should throw rocks through store fronts and beat up the owners because violence is the only way we will ever throw off the capitalist system of oppression.”  But what I can’t say is, “Alright, people, pick up some rocks and throw them through the store across the street and beat up the owner, right now.”  That’s the incitement of “imminent lawless action” where the Supreme Court drew the line in Brandenburg.  Cardin forgets the “imminent” part.

So, Ben Cardin is just wrong when he says “If you espouse hate, if you espouse violence, you’re not protected under the First Amendment.”  He’s also wrong in saying, “Hate speech is protected under the First Amendment, unless it incites violence.”  These statements are wrong because hate speech, espousing violence, and inciting violence in general do not cross the line the Supreme Court drew in Brandenburg at “imminent lawless action.”  It would take an amendment to the Constitution to give Cardin what he wants.

Why do I say Senator Cardin shows little fidelity to free speech?  Because he wants to be “aggressive” in curbing hate speech and general incitement to violence on the Internet.  This is not a man who loves freedom.  This is a man who wants to make everyone jump to his tune.  This is a man who doesn’t want to hear certain speech and wants to stamp it out.  He has the instincts of an authoritarian.  Like former leftist David Horowitz says, “Inside Every Progressive Is A Totalitarian Screaming To Get Out.”  To Cardin, we say, keep your hands off our Internet and our free speech.

People in my Network had instructive things to say about this.  One said, “Using Ben Cardin’s interpretation of the 1st Amendment, he and most other Democrats, not to mention the violence prone Antifa and BLM, would be immediately arrested for their blatant hate and encouragement of violence against real Americans.”

Another wrote a parody constitutional amendment along the lines Cardin suggests, which includes a definition of hate speech:

  • “Hate speech” as used in this article shall consist of any speech deemed to offend Senator Ben Cardin, Democrat from the State of Maryland, or his replacement in his seat of Congress as long as the replacement obtains a greater than 51% approval rating from the Congressional Progressive Caucus….

This person also reinforces the point Ben Cardin should be checked for authoritarian tendencies, so I’ll give them the last word:

  • It is amazing to behold the hubris of the radical left as they announce this and similar plans to impose their authoritarian utopia on the American citizenry. That they do so without a hint of hesitation or uncertainty as to the constitutionality of their plan is breathtaking.

An Ecuadorian man has changed his gender to gain custody of his children.

“Self-determined gender is a cornerstone of a person’s identity. The resulting obligation of States is to provide access to gender recognition in a manner consistent with the rights to freedom from discrimination, equal protection of the law, privacy, identity and freedom of expression.”

So says the UN’s Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in a sterling affirmation of gender fluidity as a human right.

However, the possibilities arising from liberation from cisgender normativity have still not been fully realised in the United States and other Anglophone countries. People have been changing their gender on passports, ID cards, and birth certificates to validate their authentic gendered self. It’s part of a patchwork of solutions to gender dysphoria. Boring.

In Latin America people have been far more creative in exercising these new-found freedoms.

In 2021 a new party, Fuerza por Mexico (FxM) was having trouble meeting gender parity requirement for electoral lists. Fortunately, 18 of its candidates in the state of Tlaxcala, to the west of Mexico City, were courageous enough to embrace their true gender identity. Appearances notwithstanding, they always had been women.

Some people churlishly alleged that this was just a self-serving charade. However, the Tlaxcala electoral commission declared that it was wrong to doubt the reality of the candidates’ gender self-identification. How could you? Only the candidates know whether they are male or female or whatever. Biology has nothing to do with it.

And now an Ecuadorian dad caught up in a messy divorce case has declared that he is really a woman, and therefore a mother of his two daughters. The possibility of changing gender came as godsend to him, because a judge had declared that she could only grant custody to the children’s mother.

As El Universo reports, just after Christmas René Salinas Ramos legally changed his gender in the registry office of the city of Cuenca. René, a journalist, is confident of her true sex, but was willing to sacrifice the sex she was assigned at birth to subvert a legal system which gives women more rights in custody cases. “This is a proof of my love for my children,” says Ms Salinas.

Ecuador appears to be far more progressive than the United States. Since 2015, its citizens have been able to change their gender, provided that they are of legal age and that two witness can testify to the autonomy of their decision. Unfortunately they can only do this once and it has to last for at least two years, unlike the even more progressive state of Victoria, in Australia, where genders can be changed every 12 months.

Hopefully this will bring to an end a very sticky situation. He, or rather she, has not seen one of her daughters for a year and a half. The other, she alleges, is being physically mistreated. She would like custody of the girls.

However, the court has declared that until the case is resolved, the children must remain with “su mamá”, their mother.

No sooner said than done. René is now a mother of her daughters.

“Now that I am a woman, I can be a mother and I am on an equal footing to fight for my daughters’ parental rights,” Salinas told La Voz de Tomebomba.

“I haven’t seen my daughters for more than five months. I can be a mother too, I know how to cook, give love, do the ironing and other motherly things,” explained Salinas.

With respect, it does appear that René Salinas is trying to game Ecuador’s law on gender recognition. It’s impossible to know the real story behind this custody dispute. However, René’s tactic is more honourable than the one used by male criminals masquerading as women who live in women’s prisons to have more lenient conditions and access to sex.

Or mediocre athletes who break women’s sporting records.

Once reality is abandoned as the basis for law, there’s no telling how gender fantasies will be exploited to gain power, adulation, or sex.

A description of George Washington’s transformation from gentleman planter to Revolutionary Patriarch of a Nation, as a real-life template for Neo  –  motion picture protagonist of The Matrix  –  a character likewise awakening to a seminal role as a Revolutionary Agent of Liberty after swallowing a Red Pill.

As a youth, young man and then ambitious Virginian gentleman planter George Washington sipped the sweetness of partaking – despite the Vine of Tyranny sending out evermore encompassing & invasive tendrils to imperceptibly envelop the unfettered Trellis of Liberty that Virginians had constructed for themselves.

In retrospect, it was an idyllic state  –  so like the intended manner of living Providence had provided for men, as to be almost…dream-like.

Then, as Liberty began to recede under the weight of Tyranny, clutched by tendrils of taxation, legal bindings & the exertions of Monarchical Force upon People of the Colonies  –  up to and including the shedding of blood  –  a maturing Washington began to awaken through circumstance & the shared counsel of contemporaries to his part in casting off Tyranny, to restore & secure the blessings of Liberty for the budding Nation and its Posterity.

Thus, reluctantly, did Washington come to find himself over the course of events in the dire, dark & despairing Winter of 1776, huddling with men in the field, in some of the worst winter snow and bitter cold yet on record for the Nation  –  absent sufficient rations, medicine, supplies, arms, treasure, comfort or numbers clinging tenuously to the shore of Hope, along the frozen western bank of the ice caked Delaware River.

Celebrated Patriot Thomas Paine had followed these American Revolutionaries across their New Jersey retreat, famously writing:

“These are the times that try men’s souls…”  1

Reeling from discouraging defeats, with the sour tastes of retreat & even acidulous treason sharp on his tongue, while the Continental Congress bickered over particulars, as the remnants of the Continental Army withered by the hour in the depths of privation, with enlistments about to run out, and with American Liberty itself hanging in the precarious balance, an impulse began to emerge from deep within Washington’s breast. In the lonely hours of the Commander in Chief’s greatest need, a primordial compulsion, innate & unyielding  –  unbidden yet familiar and Universal to All Men  –  the intrinsic Impulse to Freedom, arose to compel him to action.

Against all convention, against all odds & even against much sober counsel, Washington would act.

With Washington in the vanguard, the Revolutionaries crossed the Delaware on Christmas Night in daunting, frightful conditions, to crush the Monarch’s Hessian mercenaries garrisoned at Trenton the next morning.

A thousand enemy were killed, casualties or captured.

Full consummation of Washington’s Impulse was near at hand and the Light of Liberty once again began to flicker a little more brightly over the land. He grew anxious to extend the moment’s initiative to full advantage.

The day before New Year’s Eve, he again crossed the Delaware from the west  –  in even more desperate conditions  –  issuing a proclamation at Trenton that the American Army had returned & calling on the whole of the People to rise up against the Enemy and drive them from the land.

So it was on January 3rd, 1777, 1,500 Continentals met a proportionate number of the Enemy at Princeton.

The fighting became general as the Monarch’s minions fought with the resolve of battle hardened troops.

At a critical moment an American Brigadier was mortally wounded and his command  –  despite reinforcement from militia  –  wavered and fell back.

If Liberty were not to be extinguished in America,

there must appear someone now  –  right now  –  to redeem Her.

Anyone who believes the Affairs of Mankind do not hinge upon the Greatness of Men has not long considered the achievement of George Washington.

On white horse Washington galloped forward at the head of most of his men.

The Mount Vernon Ladies’ Association of the Union describes what passed next:

“…Amidst the flying musket balls Washington coolly assured his soldiers, “Parade with us my brave fellows! There is but a handful of the enemy and we shall have them directly!” Washington then proceeded to lead the militiamen forward to the front. He at one point was only 30 yards from the British line – easy musket range…one of Washington’s officers reportedly pulled his hat over his eyes, expecting to see the General shot from the saddle at any moment. Despite his proximity, Washington remained uninjured and his galvanizing presence stabilized the American line at a critical moment in the battle. Soon Washington, along with fresh reinforcements, were chasing the remnants of the enemy’s broken force through the fields and woods.” 2

Washington biographer Harrison Clark described it thus:

“…Washington himself came up with the greater part of his men. Charging ahead on his horse he rallied the Americans, telling them to hold their fire. The enemy shot first and there was a great cloud of smoke around the general. One aide put his hands over his eyes, afraid to see the commander in chief fall. Then Washington called the order to charge and fire and the British lines broke. Washington and his cavalry pursued them, while others chased the enemy as far as four miles on foot.” 3

Charging to the front, perhaps intuitively perhaps consciously, in realization of the moment of sacred conviction  –  the crucible test when a man girds up his loins to throw into the balance everything he ever had or can have, including every sinew & fiber of his being at the cost of even his very life  –  in the close press of duty renouncing without qualm or compunction, that sweetness of partaking in family, friends, in fine even Liberty itself, Washington committed himself resolutely to the course. This decisive instant was Washington’s point of no return, his swallowed Red Pill  –  the selfless moment of his perfection as a man, as a Patriot, as a Leader  –  the moment of his sublime, solemn consummation.  From this point forward there would be no looking back.

George Washington was all in.

Soon enough, the Creator’s Gift of Liberty to All People had been secured again for a time in America and in that reality, lay Hope for All the World.

Later after the dust of battle and travail of years & precedent in consolidating a government Of the People, By the People and For the People had long settled in the new United States, a matured and reflective Washington gave us his final, priceless gift. Solicitous as ever for the welfare of Fellow Citizens and for Their Posterity, Washington favored us with his hard won wisdom & paternal counsel in his timeless “Farewell Address To The People of The United States.” 4  It stands alongside the Constitution & the Declaration of Independence forming the Seminal Trinity of American Political Letters.

WE IGNORE ITS SAGE DICTUMS AT OUR ETERNAL PERIL.

Trajectory of awakening consummated, Citizen Washington passed from this earthly realm in 1799, the Venerated Father of a Grateful Nation & the Protector of Christ’s Liberty in America, taking his place among the Immortal Champions of the Pantheon of Freedom.

Citizens, should we each in turn, fulfill the restored Promise of Liberty in our own trajectories, Freedom shall ever beam upon this Earth.

One of the insidious machines Democrats use to gain popularity and power is the democratization of vice.  It’s an easy sell.  Vote for the Democrats because they promise to legalize everything that feels good.  It’s much harder to struggle against base instincts and not make pleasure-seeking the center of your existence.

But it’s a fantasyland to think things that feel good have no consequences.  Sexual promiscuity?  You’ll end up with sexually transmitted diseases or a baby you didn’t want.  Legalized gambling?  It’s foreseeable some people will end up with gambling addictions that will ruin their lives.

And so it is with recreational marijuana, now legal in 21 states and the District of Columbia, thanks to the Democrats.  But there are consequences, as I’ve outlined in previous commentaries.  One of those consequences is back in the news today:  The number of toddlers poisoned by marijuana edibles is up 15-fold from five years ago, as marijuana has become legal in more states.  There are now more than 3,000 cases a year.  Hundreds of children are ending up in the hospital from eating marijuana-laced cookies, candies, and chocolate.  They are admitted to critical care units with breathing problems or even in a coma.  But if it feels good, do it – right?  It doesn’t matter who you hurt, even your own children.  Speaking of hurting children, a Virginia mother was charged with murder after her 4-year-old son died from eating THC gummies.  Virginia legalized recreational marijuana in 2021, thanks to the Democrats.

Darn those pesky consequences.  Here are some more:

Marijuana smoke causes more lung damage than tobacco smoke.  More pot users than cigarette smokers have emphysema.  It takes a while to manifest, but pot smoke pokes holes in lung tissue and users will eventually start coughing, wheezing, and having difficulty breathing.  Marijuana smoke causes more damage because potheads hold it in longer.

Betcha the Democrats didn’t tell you that.  They’re also not telling you you’re setting yourself up for psychosis and schizophrenia if you smoke marijuana.  Not only that, if you expose your unborn child to marijuana, they are more likely to have psychotic episodes by the time they are 10.

The manufacturers are deliberately increasing the potency of their marijuana products because users are developing a tolerance, requiring more active ingredient to get the same high.  So, you get all the psychosis and none of the profit.  Sounds like a deal to me.

Other problems arising from marijuana use include:  vomiting, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, memory loss, learning deficits, lost IQ, poor decisionmaking, heart attacks, lower income, impairment of relationships, and lower life expectancy.  Should I go on?  OK, I will: dropping out of high school, lower GPAs and longer graduation times in college, and vulnerability to opioid addiction.  Betcha the smiley-face Democrats didn’t tell you all that.

Meanwhile, their friends in the pot industry will sell $30 billion of the stuff this year.  Big players control the market.  Somebody should investigate their political campaign contributions.  What do you want to bet campaign donations didn’t buy Democrat votes to legalize marijuana in the 21 states I mentioned?

Follow the money, folks.  You’re being played.  Stay stoned and don’t look behind the curtain.

Which state? The New York Post, as hopeless as the rest of the establishment media, shows no curiosity about this question. But clearly Trevor Bickford, after he converted to Islam, was no stalwart American patriot. He wanted to target a uniformed officer as an enemy of the Islamic state.

The 19-year-old alleged Islamic radical suspected in the New Year’s Eve machete attack on NYPD cops had specifically sought to target “a uniformed officer” or someone armed because he believed them to be an “enemy of the state,” sources told The Post on Sunday.

Trevor Bickford, of Wells, Maine, allegedly went to Midtown on Saturday night to assault police officers or “someone with a gun,” the sources said he told the feds after his arrest.

The suspect allegedly said he’d hatched the plot as recently as Friday, according to sources.

Bickford “found religion” after his father’s overdose death in 2018 and became radicalized as recently as a month ago, according to sources.

He was already on an FBI terrorism watchlist after his mother and aunt tipped off the agency about his allegedly extremist views, the sources said.

The attacker was a “lone wolf” who did not appear to be affiliated with any particular Islamic extremist group, but noted the investigation is still active and ongoing with cops combing through his cellphone and computer, the sources said.

He apparently had planned to travel to Afghanistan to join Islamic militants, according to sources — but instead traveled to New York alone, arriving on Dec. 29, and was staying at the Bowery Mission….

The Illinois Supreme Court halted the state’s new law eliminating cash bail pending further litigation.  Good.  Maybe sanity will prevail in the end.  Here’s what no-cash bail laws do:  A New York man was arrested for beating his wife.  He was released on no bail.  Less than 24 hours later, he shot her dead in front of her three children.  The no-bail situation in New York City has gotten so bad, Mayor Eric Adams now calls it ‘catch and release’ and said, “We have to stop passing laws that protect the guilty.”

Eric Adams might finally be telling the truth, but other Democrats who brought you insane ideas like no-bail are now trying to cover up the consequences of their insanity.  In Chicago, the mayor – who condones riots – wants to switch from police scanners to encrypted radio frequencies.  This will prevent journalists from reporting breaking crime stories and the public from learning about threats to their safety.  In Colorado, a Democrat senator’s wife is urging lawmakers to defund the police the sneaky way by reallocating funds to social services.  In case you don’t know, several cities got mugged by the reality of what happens when you defund the police and moved to re-fund their police departments.  But not in Seattle, which has found another sneaky way to defund the police.  The tolerance for riots and disparagement of police professionals caused a number of vacant positions in the police department and the city council voted last month to eliminate 80 of them.

But try as they might, the stupid Democrats can’t cover up the fact that large cities like Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles are now more dangerous than war zones like Iraq or Afghanistan for young males.  The most dangerous city is actually St. Louis where the progressive prosecutor won’t accept arrests by 300 officers and the mayor won’t authorize pay increases for officers, causing the police department to operate at less than half strength.  Staffing shortages and progressive prosecutors are being blamed for the rise in violent crime in many cities across the country last year.

And Democrats can’t cover up the fact that Target lost $400 million last year to organized retail theft.  Overall, retail theft is up more than 26 percent and is closing in on $100 billion a year.  Houston – and elsewhere – we got a problem.  Walmart is warning it will have to raise prices and close stores, if this keeps up.  The CEO specifically blamed progressive prosecutors and their soft-on-crime policies.  The violence is so bad in North Philly, a gas station owner hired armed security.  Police don’t respond and nobody feels safe, he said.  A restaurant in D.C. is closing down because employees are being attacked and their cars are being broken into.  The insane Democrats who run the city voted late last year to reduce penalties for illegal gun possession, carjacking, robbery, and other crimes.

Another business closed, this one in Portland, another Democrat city that loves riots.  The owner cited “unrelenting criminal behavior” and “escalating safety issues” for employees. “We have no protection, or recourse, against the criminal behavior that goes unpunished,” an open letter posted on the front door said.  Here’s the interesting part:  You hear these progressive prosecutors and other apologists for high crime say, ‘don’t worry about it, insurance will cover any losses.’  Not true.  The owner went on to write: “Do not be fooled into thinking that insurance companies cover losses. We have sustained 15 break-ins … we have not received any financial reimbursement since the 3rd.”

Think about all this the next time the Democrats are flashing you a big smile and asking you to keep them in power.  Better yet, take action now.  The city council in Roanoke recently asked state lawmakers to undo the Democrats’ woke criminal justice reforms and bring back no-knock warrants, traffic stops for broken tail lights and other minor infractions, and holding suspects without bond for violent offenses.  Voters in Democrat-controlled Kansas City, Missouri voted up a constitutional amendment requiring the city to spend more on police.

This is not a situation where reforms swing between competing values on a pendulum.  The Democrats threw the pendulum out the window with their woke criminal justice reforms.  But this is still America and citizens like you can take action so they can’t turn your life into a war zone.

When the law fails you in the most fundamental, rational way, one has no choice but to take whatever action is necessary to right the terrible, horrible harm. The father should escape to a foreign country with his son.

The left has corrupted every institution in this country.

Jeffrey Younger has lost his court case to prevent his ex-wife from taking their son to California, where he could be medically transitioned. Younger has been trying to stop this from happening for years, and has now reached the end of the line. He is prevented by the courts of Texas from protecting his boys from medical mutilation at the hands of their mother, who is a pediatrician. Younger has accused her of using the children to help advertise her “inclusive,” “gender affirming” practice.

The Supreme Court of Texas denied my Mandamus, effectively terminating my parental rights. My children are now subject to being chemically castrated in California. Texas is an empire of child abuse, led by Texas judges.

This after Judge Kim Cooks, on October 24, said that both parents should have a “joint managing conservatorship,” which each able to have “a say in his medical treatment,” The Texan reported.

The custody case was before the Supreme Court of Texas, which ruled against Younger. Younger had issued a petition on December 16 to try to retain his parental rights after his ex-wife, Dr. Anne Georgulas, took the boys to California.

California has a law in place, starting on Sunday, that children in that state will not be returned to their home state in the event that the home state would prevent the children from being medically transitioned to present as the opposite sex. Younger wanted the boys brought home.

California Senate Bill 107, proposed by State Senator Scott Wiener and signed into law by Governor Gavin Newsom, will “prohibit the enforcement of an order based on another state’s law authorizing a child to be removed from their parent or guardian based on that parent or guardian allowing their child to receive gender-affirming health care or gender-affirming mental health care.”

Younger’s concern, per his petition, is that in California, his son “would be subjected to transgender procedures deemed to be child abuse by official opinion of the Texas Attorney General.” Texas has laws against the medical gender transition of children and teens.

“The Children would lose the protections of injunctions on the Mother that prevent her from chemically castrating the Children or sexually mutilating them in transgender surgeries,” younger said in his petition, according to The Texan.

Younger was married to pediatrician Georgulas. Georgulas and Younger ended up in court fighting over the children when she believed that James, Younger’s 7-year-old, wanted to live as a girl called Luna.

She petitioned the court to prevent Younger from “from signing Luna up as James for any activities or taking her as James or calling her James or using male pronouns related to Luna at any activities outside the home…”

She further asked the court to prevent Younger from “allowing the children to remain in the presence of anyone who is not calling Luna by her chosen name, ‘Luna,’ not using female pronouns to refer to her and otherwise not affirming Luna.”

Georgulas began to believe James was a girl when he asked for a “girl’s toy” from McDonald’s and wanted to wear dresses, as well as began to emulate the female lead characters in Disney’s Frozen. It was a counselor at the GENecis clinic at the Children’s Hospital Center who advised Georgulas to “socially transition” James, according to court documents. Georgulas was affiliated with that hospital.

Younger, who had joint custody in 2019, was and remains entirely against this course of action. When James is with Younger, he does not ask to be called Luna, does not seek out girls’ clothes. Yet a court determined that Younger must use the pronouns and names the ex-wife demanded.

In a video posted to the dad’s website, James is asked, “You’re a boy right?” Heavy reported.

“No, I’m a girl.”

“Who told you you’re a girl?”

“Mommy.”

The child said Anne also put James in dresses. “She buys me headbands. She gets me hair clips…she paints my nails.”

“Do you think you’re a girl?” The child answered in the affirmative.

Georgulas was awarded custody by the Texas courts in 2021. “Dallas County District Court Judge Mary Brown awarded Georgulas full custody of James. Brown also eliminated the requirement that Jeff Younger be notified about James’ medical procedures, except for instances of hormone suppression therapy, puberty-blocking drugs, and gender reassignment surgery. Under that order, Younger must consent to any decisions made under those categories of procedure,” The Texan reported.

Witnesses who knew the boys and could attest that James did not identify as a girl when left to his own devices, were prevented from testifying in the case. One mother of the boys’ friends said, in testimony she wasn’t allowed to give in 2019, that:

“Over the past year, I have observed that James is blissfully happy as a boy. He loves to march around outside and yell, ‘we are the only boy scout troop’ or ‘I’m the Leader of the wolf pack!’ He is always the ring leader, even though he isn’t the oldest of the group. He loves dressing as a super hero and sword fighting. One day we all walked to a playground near my house and on the way home James slipped in some mud and got his clothes dirty. He asked if he could borrow some of my kids clothes and I could wash his.

“Of course I said, ‘no problem’ and grabbed him a pair of shorts from the chest of drawers and tossed them to him. I said, ‘hang on while I grab a shirt from the closet’. He immediately said, ‘Mrs. Sarah, I don’t need a shirt! It’s hot! And boys don’t have to wear shirts if they don’t want to! Isn’t that awesome!’ He was so cute. I said, ‘yes that is awesome!’ As he ran off to play. I did eventually get him to put on a shirt. It was gray with lizards on it and he loved it! He also likes having his hair cut a certain way but told my son Grayson that his mom wouldn’t let him get it too short even though he wanted it to be spikey.”

The Office of the Attorney General of Texas filed an amicus letter with the courts on December 22, 2022, saying “a trial court has allowed relator’s former partner to move to California with their children over relator’s objection. There, she intends to provide the child with potentially irreversible medical interventions that may constitute child abuse under Texas law, Atty Gen. Op. KP-0401—particularly given that a court has previously found that ‘Mom may have over corrected’ for any symptoms of gender confusion exhibited by their child, Pet. 8 (excerpting order). The trial court clearly abused its discretion in permitting relator’s former partner to remove the children from the State given the ongoing litigation regarding their well-being. And that error may be irremediable on appeal because California has enacted a law that makes it difficult (if not impossible) for Relator to regain custody of his vulnerable child.”

When Younger attemtped to speak out about gender transition at the University of North Texas, he was prevented from doing so by far-left activists who shut the speaking engagement down.

Most major Muslim organizations in the U.S. are linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, which has the stated goal (according to a captured internal document) in America of “eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within, and sabotaging its miserable house.”

And this tool of Qatar is going to fight against “foreign propaganda.” Given the proclivities this administration, that could mean that Rubin is going to fight against pro-American material.

The State Department’s Global Engagement Center is charged with understanding and countering propaganda from America’s adversaries. So a man who has shilled for Qatar, Zimbabwe, and a Turkish state bank linked to Iran may be an awkward fit as its leader.

As a partner at the firm Ballard Partners, James Rubin until 2020 lobbied State Department and White House officials on behalf of Qatar, the oil-rich Gulf nation that funds terrorist groups and is allied with Iran, according to disclosures filed under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. Rubin, who served in the State Department under President Bill Clinton, also represented Halkbank, a Turkish state bank indicted in a gold-for-oil scheme with Iran. He shilled for the government of Zimbabwe in its effort to alleviate sanctions over the “unusual and extraordinary threat” the regime poses to the United States.

Biden on Friday appointed Rubin to serve as special envoy and coordinator of the State Department’s Global Engagement Center, formed to identify and expose foreign propaganda “that threatens the security of the United States, our allies, and partners.” According to the State Department, Rubin will focus on countering foreign disinformation and propaganda with a focus on Russia, China, Iran, and terrorist groups like ISIS and al Qaeda….

Rubin, the ex-husband of CNN anchor Christiane Amanpour, is the latest in a string of foreign agents hired by the Biden administration….Erin Pelton, who served as special assistant to Biden, lobbied for Qatar prior to joining the administration. George Salem, appointed chairman of a board at USAID this year, represented the Palestine Monetary Authority, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Disclosures filed with the Justice Department show Rubin met frequently with State Department and White House officials on behalf of his foreign clients. He registered as an agent of Qatar in May 2019 as Ballard Partners worked for “the betterment of U.S.-Qatari bilateral relations.” The Gulf nation has long funded and provided a safe-haven for ISIS and al Qaeda extremists. Qatar’s foreign minister offered condolences to Iran after a U.S. airstrike killed Iranian general Qassem Soleimani.

Rubin registered as a lobbyist for Halkbank and Zimbabwe in March 2019, according to his foreign agent disclosure.

In 2017, the Department of Justice accused Halkbank of violating U.S. sanctions against Iran by trading gold for Iranian oil and gas. Prosecutors indicted Halkbank executives in 2018 and filed additional charges in 2019 for evading sanctions. During meetings with his lobbying contacts at the State Department and White House, Rubin reportedly suggested the United States go easy on Halkbank because of Turkey’s membership in the NATO alliance….

‘What Is A Woman?’: A Provocative Look at the Transgender Debate

These days, dead white males do not count for much. But we still have the legacy of an exceptional man who went around Athens asking people to provide basic definitions. In so doing, he proved to many that they were not as knowledgeable as they thought themselves to be. This man’s questions annoyed many, and for that, he was called “the gadfly”. Ultimately, some Athenians could not handle his intellectual curiosity, and sentenced him to death.

American conservative commentator Matt Walsh has often been labelled a “troll”. What is the difference between a troll and a gadfly? It is hard to tell. Very much as Socrates, Walsh simply asks questions. Admittedly, Walsh may be more exasperating than the father of Western philosophy in this endeavour, but he gets the job done. And that job is getting closer to truth.

What is a Woman?, Walsh’s latest documentary has been produced by the Daily Wire, a bumptious but highly professional conservative media company. It is structured as a series of Socratic dialogues about the transgender debate. He interviews many gender studies “experts” who spout the usual ideological points regarding gender dysphoria (sex is a social construction, children should not be refused hormone replacement therapy, etc.), and asks them “What is a woman?” Predictably, none of them provide a clear answer.

The most challenging interlocutors for Socrates were the Sophists — teachers who taught how to persuade people with rhetoric but did not care about the truth. How can you establish a meaningful dialogue with someone who does not even accept that there is a difference between truth and falsehood? American academia is awash with transgender Sophists, as Walsh discovers. One stands out for his absurdity. Professor Patrick Grzanka says: “I am uncomfortable with that language ‘getting to the truth’… It sounds deeply transphobic to me… You keep invoking the word ‘truth’, which is condescending and rude.”

This is not the only outrageous thing coming from the mouth of a college-educated person in the film. Paediatrician Michelle Forcier tells Walsh that puberty blockers are “completely reversible and don’t have permanent effects, and are wonderful, because we put that pause on puberty.” Many paediatricians have pushed back against this claim. For example, the American College of Pediatricians states that “puberty blockers may cause permanent physical harm.” Bioethicists frequently invoke the “precautionary principle”, yet strangely, puberty blockers get a free pass. Even medical ethics is falling under the influence of woke ideology.

Critics are ignoring this uncomfortable documentary

Not all moments in the film are as sad. Walsh travels to Kenya to meet members of the Masai tribe and asks some men: “What if someone is non-binary?” The Masai interlocutor’s confused and perplexed reaction is hilarious. Now, some social justice warrior might denounce this as an evil racist film that makes fun of African people. But that would be missing the point. The ones being mocked are the (mostly white) North American liberals who project onto the rest of the world their social constructionist ideas.

Walsh lays the blame for the transgender craze at the feet of Dr Alfred Kinsey, who allegedly had a mission to erode Judeo-Christian values. I do not see the need for Walsh to go down this path. Kinsey may have claimed many questionable things, but I do give him credit for having lifted the veil on many sexual practices whose existence the 1950s establishment refused to acknowledge. And I see no need to bring a religious angle to this topic. Saying that women have vaginas and men have penises is not about Judaism or Christianity. It is about common sense, regardless of whether you are a Jew, Christian, Buddhist, or atheist.

He also goes overboard exhibiting people who self-identify as animals, presumably to mock the extent to which self-identification can be taken. In the film, one Naia Okami identifies as a transgender woman and “wolforian”, walks on all four, and howls. Of course, psychiatry has always documented cases of lycanthropy. But to bring such exceptional cases to the transgender debate is more akin to P.T. Barnum’s 19th century so-called “freak shows” than serious engagement with issues of identity.

Nevertheless, Carl Trueman, a scholar interviewed by Walsh, does have a point in arguing that at the root of the transgender craze is a desperate need to belong. Adolescents are searching for an identity, and in our fragmented communities, it is hard to find one. Describing yourself as a “man trapped inside a woman’s body” may do the part, and with peer pressure, others follow suit. Hollywood takes note and being transgender becomes the new cool.

This “social contagion” theory is anathema to woke activists. But it should be noted that not long ago, leftists embraced the concept. When in the 1980s some religious conservatives talked about Satanic ritual abuse in books and TV shows, suddenly multiple personality disorder rates exploded. Why do they refuse to even consider that some similar process may now be at play with gender dysphoria?

But of course, social contagion cannot be the sole factor in gender dysphoria. Yes, many kids may become transgender due to media influence, but surely there must be some cases in which social factors do not play a role. The scientific data does suggest a degree of biological origin in some cases. Walsh does not address this.

Walsh’s film is at times excessively one-sided. There is no interviewee genuinely expressing the frustrations of feeling trapped in the wrong body. Likewise, there are no testimonies of adolescents transitioning and doing just fine. Surely there are many such cases, and even though Walsh is entitled to make his point, he could at least give the devil his due.

Be that as it may, Walsh speaks for many people who are simply too afraid to let their views be known. Walsh deserves praise for that courage. And he is very effective in the bottom line of any film: entertaining the audience. Like Socrates, he is forcing us to challenge many of the assumptions of woke culture by asking “dumb questions”.

The Internet has opened up a Pandora’s Box of threats to our children. These threats include grooming by online predators for sexual abuse or to be sex trafficked; having sexually explicit images and videos shared online that will haunt our children for the rest of their lives; exposure to pornography; messages encouraging harmful sexual behavior like sexting, hookup sex, and more; and the mental health impacts of seeing countless objectifying messages.

We believe a critical aspect of child online safety is the availability of caregiver controls on any device or platform where children are likely to be found. We are taking steps to ensure technology companies prioritize child safety and give parents more power.  

According to a Bark’s 2021 Annual Report that analyzed over 3.4 billion messages across platforms:

  • 68.97% of Tweets and 90.73% of teens encountered nudity or other sexual content.
  • 9.95% of tweens and 20.54% of teens of teens encountered predatory behaviors.

Thanks to your partnership, we are making significant progress in transforming the Internet into a safer place for children. Here are just a few highlights from the past year:

  • Our lawsuit against Twitter for facilitating and profiting from sexual abuse images of two young boys continues to move forward in the federal courts. It is presently pending before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
  • In August, Snap Inc. released its first set of parental controls, named “Family Center”, providing parents with the ability to view their children’s friends and report suspicious accounts. NCOSE participated in discussions and official expert consultations around the Family Center development.
  • After a half-dozen consultations with NCOSE, Apple announced multiple improvements to their parental controls, named “Screen Time”. These improvements included defaulting content restrictions based on a user’s age, and providing a “checklist” of safety features to ensure parents know what is available for them to protect their children.
  • Meta implemented numerous changes which NCOSE and our allies have been advocating for them to make for several years. In mid-November, Meta announced they would be defaulting settings to higher safety levels for 13-15-year-old users on Facebook and Instagram. These defaulted settings make it much harder for teens and “suspicious accounts” to interact with each other, and increase messages and educational tools meant to prevent sextortion and self-generated sexually explicit images. Earlier in the year, Instagram also restricted content for teens under 16 to the highest safety setting (though teens are able to change this and other settings – something we hope will be changed through more parental oversight tools).
  • This year Congress introduced SIX bills on online child safety, five with bipartisan support! Congress hasn’t addressed these issues in a serious way since the early 2000s!

Drag Queen Performer: Time to “Kick Down Traditional Family Values,” “F**k Family”

The radical left long ago declared war on Christmas, traditional values, and Christianity in general.  Now an infamous contestant from RuPaul’s Drag Race is doubling down on the war while shoving a disgusting, anti-Christmas play down America’s throat.

Miz Cracker, a biological male whose real name is Maxwell Eiias Heller, is staging a one- “woman” show called Who’s Holiday!. The play mocks a prominent character from the classic Christmas tale The Grinch and the story’s moral lesson.

Cracker plays The Grinch’s Cindy Lou and reimagines her as a “hard-drinking, pill-popping, experienced woman.”  He explained to far-left gay website PinkNews Saturday why his “ungodly” show rejects family values and Jesus Christ:

“To say that Christmas is about traditional values or values of any kind anymore is pretty ridiculous.  Christ is nowhere featured in this.”

“In America, if you look at the way people knock down the doors of shopping centers, I think you can tell that we have separated Christmas from Christ.”

Cracker surprisingly makes a good point regarding the commercialization of Christmas. The combination of Corporate America’s unyielding desire for maximum profits and the decline of Christianity in America has led to people forgetting the true meaning of the holiday.

Lest one think Cracker actually wants traditional Christmas values to make a comeback, however, he says he desires the opposite:

“I think any opportunity that we have to kick down traditional family values is welcomed.”

“The way of thinking about family is old and tired and we need to reinvent it.”

“I think that Who’s Holiday! does that. It makes fun of family and I think it talks about chosen family and talks about the friends that really matter and what it means to have them in your life. So yeah, f**k family.”

Cracker also makes clear he suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome. He told PinkNews that the former president’s return to the White House would show support for homophobia in America.

If this policy is put into effect so goes good order and discipline which has already been diminished with the many Obama 1,2,3 social engineering policies impacting our military.

This woke recommendation was made in a new $2 million report commissioned by the Corps from the University of Pittsburgh.

So if the United States Marine Corps can afford $2 M to waste on such a report why should they receive any budget appropriations increases in the new $830 billion Department of Defense budget, an all time record high? Same goes for all the services—no telling what else completely unrelated to combat readiness and ability to fight and win against our enemies is in this new budget.

The US Marines may ban recruits from respectfully addressing senior members as “sir” or “ma’am” to avoid “misgendering” and offending them.

The woke recommendation was made in a new $2 million report commissioned by the Corps from the University of Pittsburgh.

The exhaustive, 738-page study that the Marines first commissioned in 2020 said traditional ways of addressing superiors were holding back gender integration.

“Employing gender-neutral identifiers eliminates the possibility of misgendering drill instructors, which can unintentionally offend or cause discord,” the study said.

“By teaching recruits to use gender-neutral identifiers for their drill instructors, Services underscore the importance of respecting authoritative figures regardless of gender.”

The two-year study by the University of Pittsburgh’s Warrior Human Performance Research Center also said that “the Army, Navy, and Coast Guard effectively de-emphasize gender in an integrated environment.”

“Instead of saying ‘ma’am’ or ‘sir,’ recruits in these Services refer to their drill instructors using their ranks or roles followed by their last names,” it said.

In an address to the Federation of State Medical Boards in New Orleans in May, the Biden administration’s Department of Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary Rachel Levine called on tech corporations to censor “misinformation” about child sex changes.

Levine, a man who identifies as a woman, remarked that health professionals “must continue and expand their work to address health misinformation directly.” He added, “I’d like to just talk briefly about another area of substantial misinformation that is directly impacting health equity in our nation, and that is the health equity of sexual and gender minorities.”

Levine went on to say, “There is substantial misinformation about gender-affirming care for transgender and gender diverse individuals” and claimed that America is “facing an onslaught of anti-LGBTQI+ actions at the state levels across the United States,”

Translation: The Biden administration needs to take totalitarian control of the flow of information in this country.

But an overwhelming majority — 70 percent — of the 1,851 respondents to a recent poll from Harvard Harris favor “new national laws protecting internet and social media users from corporate censorship.” 72 percent of Democrats, 69 percent of Republicans, and 71 percent of independents favor the legislation.

Redfern told Fox News Digital: “The Surgeon General is opposed to experimental and irreversible medical treatments on children and teenagers that suffer from gender dysphoria. The idea that this makes anyone at the Department of Health an ‘opponent of LGBTQ equality’ is nothing more than a poorly attempted character assassination.”

A Dem-Linked Dark Money Network Is Quietly Funding The ‘Misinformation’ Research Industry

  • Arabella Advisors, a consultant firm with ties to the Democratic Party, manages funds that are supporting academic and independent research into online “misinformation,” predominantly targeting conservatives’ online presence.
  • Researchers funded by the Arabella network recommended strategies such as censorship as ways to mitigate the spread of “misinformation” and “disinformation.” 
  • “Groups like the Arabella network weaponize charitable laws and tax exemption to aid Democratic electoral victories, bypassing the IRS prohibition on electioneering,” Hayden Ludwig, senior investigative researcher at Capital Research Center (CRC), a conservative watchdog group researching liberal financial influence, told the DCNF.

Several funds managed by Arabella Advisors, a Democrat-linked consultant firm, are quietly bankrolling research by universities and non-profits into how online “misinformation” and “disinformation” spreads, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation review of the networks’ grants.

Arabella Advisors, run by former Bill Clinton official Eric Kessler, manages certain administrative, legal and philanthropic functions of several non-profits including the Sixteen Thirty Fund, Hopewell Fund, North Fund and New Venture Fund, which donate to a variety of left-leaning groups, causes and Democratic candidates, according to tax filings and statements on the funds’ and Arabella’s websites. Several funds within the network are also sponsoring research into the effects of, and how best to mitigate, misinformation and disinformation, according to a DCNF review of public grants.

Many of the Arabella-funded research projects cite conservatives predominantly as purveyors of misinformation, with several projects recommending solutions to mitigate the spread of misinformation, including censorship.

The New Venture Fund sponsored a project in March called “The True Costs of Misinformation” at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy, led by the center’s research director Joan Donovan, that sought to study the impacts of online misinformation, particularly on “vulnerable communities,” according to the project’s description. The project included a workshop featuring several panels on different topics related to the alleged impacts of misinformation.

A presentation titled “What Is Driving Conservativism’s Post-Democratic Turn in America?” by Steven Feldstein at the Carnegie Council ostensibly examined the impact of misinformation on the perceived “anti-democratic” attitudes espoused by conservatives in the U.S., according to the workshop agenda.

“How did American conservatives reach a point where their main political messages are either blatantly anti-democratic or outright falsehoods?” the presentation’s description read, alleging that “political partisanship” in the U.S. was “largely stoked by conservative propaganda and disinformation.” 

One panel entirely focused on strategies for “misinformation mitigation,” with presentations from researchers at the University of Washington and Google, among other places, according to the workshop agenda. The strategies included legislative action to alter election laws to curb election misinformation, and “psychological inoculation” against dis- and misinformation.

Another presentation sought to figure out ways to demonetize sites promoting “divisive disinformation on COVID” at “the industry or policy level,” according to the workshop agenda.

The Shorenstein Center did not respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

In addition, The New Venture Fund provided a grant for a 2021 research project, performed by researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, the University of Texas at Austin and the University College London, that explored methods for mitigating misinformation by facilitating “social groups” to “[exchange] judgments regarding the probability that news is true,” according to the project’s acknowledgements. The project cited the “spread of misinformation” as “one of the leading threats to democracy, public health, and the global economy.”

Arabella Advisors and the New Venture Fund did not respond to the DCNF’s request for comment.

The Hopewell Fund, another Arabella-managed philanthropic organization, sponsored a research project, the results of which were published in The Atlantic, that examined how misinformation spreads on Facebook, focusing on “superusers.” The paper cited examples of spreaders of misinformation, including “Calvin,” who uses “’gay’ as a slur and declares that black neighborhoods are always ‘SHITHOLES,’” and “Michelle,” a woman who criticizes the “plandemic.”

The article’s authors appeared to suggest censorship as the most effective means of curbing misinformation.

“Allowing a small set of people who behave horribly to dominate the platform is Facebook’s choice, not an inevitability,” the article read. “If each of Facebook’s 15,000 U.S. moderators aggressively reviewed several dozen of the most active users and permanently removed those guilty of repeated violations, abuse on Facebook would drop drastically within days.”

The Hopewell Fund told the DCNF that the project was part of a “program focused on supporting researchers studying misinformation and accountability on the social web.”

While the Sixteen Thirty Fund explicitly donates to Democratic political action committees (PACs) and candidates, according to an OpenSecrets review of its campaign spending, the Arabella network’s other funds bankroll left-leaning and Democrat-affiliated groups that engage in electoral activism and issue-based advocacy, according to The New York Times

“Groups like the Arabella network weaponize charitable laws and tax exemption to aid Democratic electoral victories, bypassing the IRS prohibition on electioneering,” Hayden Ludwig, senior investigative researcher at Capital Research Center (CRC), a conservative watchdog group researching liberal financial influence, told the DCNF.

The Hopewell Fund sponsored both the Voter Participation Center and the Center for Voter Information, the NYT reported, which spent almost $150 million together preceding the 2020 election in “get-out-the-vote” efforts targeting demographics that lean Democratic; the fund also bankrolled a Democrat-aligned legal group, Democracy Docket Legal Fund, led by Democratic Party election lawyer Marc Elias.

The New Venture Fund also set up the Trusted Elections Fund, according to a memo obtained by CRC, which courted donors to pour money into election security efforts ahead of the 2020 election. The fund distributed grants that were partly intended to “prepare journalists and civil society organizations with tools to respond to mis/disinformation and cybersecurity issues.”

“Nonprofits pour hundreds of millions of dollars into voter registration and get-out-the-vote (GOTV) campaigns which microtarget likely Democratic voters,” Ludwig said. “The Arabella nonprofits are a massive funnel to shift those millions from foundations and mega-donors to these professional activists.”

In addition to financial support for academic research, the Arabella network supports several non-profit organizations that conduct research into misinformation and disinformation.

For instance, the New Venture Fund is the architect of the Media Democracy Fund, a grantmaking non-profit that supports a variety of left-wing groups active in the spheres of media and communications, according to the Media Democracy Fund’s website. The Media Democracy fund has several wealthy partners, such as George Soros’ Open Society Foundation and the Ford Foundation.

The Media Democracy Fund partially sponsored the Disinfo Defense League, which describes itself as “a distributed national network of organizers, researchers and disinformation experts disrupting online racialized disinformation infrastructure and campaigns that deliberately target Black, Latinx, Asian American/Pacific Islander and other communities of color,” according to the group’s website. Members of the league include numerous left-wing and progressive activist organizations, such as Free Press, the Women’ March and Ultraviolet.

Ahead of the 2020 election, the group held numerous webinars, trainings and other educational events with misinformation researchers, in partnership with Joan Donovan of the Shorenstein Center, to train activists to combat perceived misinformation, Protocol reported.

The New Venture Fund has also sponsored a fellowship at the Algorithmic Integrity Institute, which was described as “a pilot program to train ethnic media reporters to identify, surface, and analyze instances” of misinformation and other unsavory content, according to the fellowship’s description.

In addition, the fund donated roughly $25 million to the Center for Tech and Civic Life, according to tax filings, an organization which also received hundreds of millions in “zuckbucks” from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative to administer elections during 2020. The organization trained election workers to spot perceived election misinformation and cited former President Donald Trump as a chief purveyor of election falsehoods, according to a July 2020 manual.

The North Fund, another Arabella affiliate, is behind a group called Accountable Tech that, among pro-antitrust activism and support for privacy regulations for tech companies, researches and advocates against online misinformation; Accountable Tech is a registered trade name of the North Fund, according to the North Fund’s business filings. The group organized a pressure campaign targeting advertisers to boycott Twitter amid Elon Musk’s takeover of the platform, citing the threat of misinformation, among other concerns. The North Fund declined to comment to The Washington Free Beacon, who also reported on this link, but said that it “follows all disclosure requirements related to the disclosure of individual donors and grantees.”

The North Fund did not respond to the DCNF’s request for comment.

2022 Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake and her attorneys once again took the stand on Thursday as the trial moved forward proving  she was the rightful winner of the race.

Lawyers for Lake are focusing on problems with ballot printers at a majority of the polling places in Maricopa County, home to more than 60% of voters. The defective printers produced ballots that were too light to be read by the on-site tabulators at polling places. Lines backed up in some areas amid the chaos and confusion.

The trial is set to conclude Thursday.

Election modeling expert Richard Baris said Thursday in the Kari Lake election lawsuit that his projections showed as many as 40,000 voters were disenfranchised over Election Day chaos in Arizona’s Maricopa County, causing him to “have no doubt” that she would’ve won the gubernatorial election had there been no problems at polling centers.

Baris is the final witness for Lake in the scheduled two-day trial for her election lawsuit.

Baris testified that 25,000 to 40,000 voters were disenfranchised in the county as a result of roughly one in five vote centers suffering problems with ballot tabulator machines in the first hours of Election Day

“We’ve got about 20% of the locations out there where there’s an issue with the tabulator,” Maricopa Board of Supervisors Chairman Bill Gates, a Republican, said on election night. Describing the problem, he said that after some voters filled out their ballot, the machine wouldn’t accept it. Since then, the county has admitted that 70 out of the 223 vote centers experienced issues on Election Day.

Election officials, however, assured voters their ballots would still be counted as a result of redundancy protocols.

The vote margin between Lake and Hobbs is 17,117 votes.

Baris said the net gain Lake would’ve received in the votes that weren’t cast on Election Day would have made her the winner of the Arizona gubernatorial election.

Baris testified that his firm, Big Data Poll, typically finds the difference in the exit-poll participation rates between early voters and Election Day voters is about 5-8%. In Maricopa County last month, however, the difference was about 20%, further suggesting that would-be voters there stayed home upon learning about voting machine problems.

That has “never happened to me before,” he said.

Following Baris’ testimony, Lake’s lawyers rested their case, and legal counsel for the defendants called their first witness, Kenneth Mayer, a political science professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Mayer, who said he has been involved in polling for the last 30 years, testified that there was no data to support the idea that ballot tabulator issues on Election Day caused voters to be disenfranchised and affected the outcome of the election.

The professor discounted Baris’ polling data, noting issues with self-reporting rather than using systematic methods, and said that Baris’ conclusions about his own data weren’t supported by the data.

During direct examination by the defendants’ legal counsel, he addressed the declarations regarding long wait times at vote centers, saying that the estimates widely varied and people generally do not correctly guess wait times due to the frustration of waiting in line.

Under cross-examination by Lake’s legal counsel, Mayer said that he didn’t verify the accuracy of the wait times provided by Maricopa County.

Lake, the 2022 Arizona GOP gubernatorial nominee, is suing her Democratic opponent, Governor-elect and Secretary of State Katie Hobbs; Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer; the county Board of Supervisors; and county Director of Elections Scott Jarrett.

Lake’s case alleges the “number of illegal votes cast in Arizona’s general election … far exceeds the 17,117 vote margin” between her and Hobbs.

The trial began Wednesday with the testimony of Richer, Jarrett, cybersecurity expert Clay Parikh, county temporary technician Bradley Benticort, and Republican National Committee attorney Mark Sonnenklar.

Following Baris’ testimony, the defendants’ legal team will call four witnesses to the stand, then each side will give closing arguments.

They are killing thousands of innocent people, drugging others, orchestrating car accidents, plane crashes, defrauding, cheating, and stealing money from millions. They are supplying a staggering supply of drugs. I am describing and writing about Socialism and I have been doing it for the last forty years…

Today you can see all of the crimes at Biden’s America: people are drugged by fentanyl, dying on the streets. Biden dismantled secure borders and open borders, threatening to bring 5-6 million foreigners, illegal migrants to the U.S. This is not the end, due to Biden’s lawlessness, crime is rising and the first historical colossal fraud took place in the American economy at the FTX: Crypto Collapse. In case you don’t know—SEMAFOR means in Russian-traffic light. TikTok is no less important issue, which has been directly connected to the Russian Intel, infiltrating and spying on America since the 20th century. That is the reason I had deliberately presented you the Russian Intel Apparatus in my presiding column, December 14, 2022.

I am now returning to Russia: all above mentioned events had been orchestrated, planned, and organized by the KGB’s Mafia/Army, I hope you know what it means: “If you want to know China, you have to first know Russia.”  I have already stated these words a hundred times. Nothing has changed in the world. It is still divided into Capitalism and Communism, and the latter is still an aggressive usurper-invader. Nothing has changed in Russia, only changing of names: the old KGB has become FSB to cover up an inhuman crime had committed by the KGB. So, Putin just adjusted the Soviet System to crony capitalism with the same KGB in power. China has repeated the maneuver, adjusting its crony capitalism to the same Communist Intel Apparatus. Don’t be confused—Soviet Socialism and Chinese Communism are the same ideological fraud, neither had ever worked productively. Their current name is GLOBALISTS.

The recent Twitter Musk’s revelation No. 6 and 7 are even more incredible than the preceding ones—The FBI/DHS and CIA have been establishing a Police State in the U.S. like in the Soviet Union. The Biden administration and FEDS had deep reach into Twitter and some other parts of Social Media through the FBI/DHS and CIA. The contact was constant and pervasive as if they were a subsidiary of the FBI. (That control reminded me of the Soviet KGB and the memory of the Obama administration sending the official personals’ info to Putin’s Russia.) There is now no question of interference of the FBI in the 2020 election. It is the Soviet behavior! Moreover, to prevent you from knowing the truth, the FBI had submitted my name to the FUSA Court and the Court made me a Foreign Agent in 2002. Inevitably, the FBI banned and sabotaged all my writings.

At the same time, the Biden team had sponsored $1, 5 Billion to promote Woke, while watching how Woke is demolishing America in various directions. As I previously stated, Woke is a fraud, I recognize and called it a Sovietization of America. I am not alone, in fact, Brent Bozell was right in analyzing the later Musk’s revelation and called them, and “Elon Musk bought a crime scene.” Yes, I agree. This “crime scene” had been investigated by Special Prosecutor John Durham and by me for the last forty years. Read my book: What is Happening to America? That “crime scene” is familiar to you for the last 6-7 years of Trump’s Witch Hunt. The FBI and Biden’s team were accusing Trump of the exact same crime, they have themselves committed, just like Stalin outlined. Please, recall my description of Socialist modus operandi: lies, deception, fabrication, and fraud. You will find all of that again in the Twitter “crime scene”—the predator is the same with the Soviets dirty tricks and psychological propaganda. Look at two Virginian Senators Tim Kaine and Mark Warner and listen to them. They are representing the “crime scene” and covering-up the crime committed by the Democrat leadership for the last several decades. I have described it in detail in my books and columns.

Joe Biden and the Democrat Party is the center of that “crime scene.” To grasp it the knowledge of Russia and its KGB’s Mafia/Army is imperative. I have been repeating this phrase for forty years. Russian KGB’s Mafia/Army had infiltrated and overturned the Democrat Party to Socialist one. So, why do we have such a similarity for more than 6-7 years? Because we are dealing with the same Socialist/Communist forces fighting for global control and power. President Donald J. Trump loved America and had been a convenient target to cover-up the “crime scene” and therefore the real Target—American Political System Designed and Left to Us by our Founding Fathers. In fact, we are in the process of Socialist Revolution in America implemented by Biden’s White House. Don’t put your faith and trust in the Democrat Party anymore, the Party has betrayed you…

While in unknown to Hunter Ukraine, someone connected him with the pro-Russian owner of Burisma. It could be anyone from the Obama administration, but as I have already suggested it was the American Embassy in Kiev. The connection was an official and long-term one…

General Pacepa wrote in the same article:

“According to Andropov… the Muslims had a taste for nationalism, jingoism, and victimology. Their illiterate, oppressed mobs could be whipped up to a fever pitch. Terrorism and violence against Israel and her master, American Zionism, would flow naturally from the Muslims’ religious fervor, Andropov sermonized.”

I have written this piece many years ago describing the Russian infiltration and psychological propaganda of the Muslim world. It was the time, of Stalinist policy to marry Islam with the ideology of Soviet Socialism spread by Stalin’s devoted disciples. Pay attention to the words: nationalism, jingoism, and especially, victimology. The manipulation methods of the psychological propaganda by the KGB’s Mafia/Army have not changed since and applied to America today. Therefore, the knowledge of Russia, its Intel Apparatus and Security Service is a Must to understand how Russia has been demolishing us from within. The Paul Pelosi story illustrates it clearly:

Although left-wing activists often say they represent “the right side of history,” a well-regarded poll finds that support for a key item of the LGBTQ agenda has collapsed faster than virtually any other issue: Significantly fewer Americans support allowing men to use women’s restrooms in 2022 than in 2016.

“Americans are 17 percentage points more likely to favor” laws requiring the two sexes to use separate restrooms “today than they were in 2016, when the question was first asked,” according to the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI). “In fact, 2022 saw the sharpest uptick of strong support for requiring transgender people to use bathrooms based on their” sex.

“Typically, opinion does not move so quickly on such issues,” PRRI notes.

Americans of all political views became less supportive of this plank of the LGBTQ agenda over the last six years, with registered independents switching their views completely. “In 2016, most independents opposed” laws respecting female privacy, “but by 2022 a small majority favored these laws,” the polling firm states in an article published on December 15.

Surprisingly, the number of Democrats backing restroom privacy laws has grown by four points in 2022 (31%) over the level in 2016 (27%), according to PRRI’s 2022 American Values Survey.

Support for laws respecting privacy in intimate settings spans all racial and ethnic backgrounds, religions, and nearly all generations. A majority of multiracial (53%), Hispanic (52%), and white Americans (51%), as well as half of black Americans (50%), told PRRI they support legally established zones of privacy where people disrobe. Only college-educated white people, registered Democrats, people not affiliated with any religion, and those under the age of 30 tend to favor sexually mixed restrooms, the poll finds.

One likely reason for the seismic change is increasing public awareness of physical and sexual assaults inflicted by men against women inside restrooms. Last week, details emerged that a male who identifies as female physically attacked two teenage girls in a female restroom inside the Edmond Memorial High School in Edmond, Oklahoma. The nation’s restrooms have been the sight of numerous assaults and acts of voyeurism stretching all the way back to 1999. Recent incidents include:

  • “Two Loudoun County Public School (LCPS) officials have been indicted in Virginia on charges related to attempts to cover up two sexual assaults in a girls’ bathroom and in an empty classroom perpetrated against female students by a male student” who identified as “gender fluid,” The Washington Stand reported last week;
  • In March, an 18-year-old male exposed his genitals to a child inside a gender-neutral restroom in Wisconsin’s Rhinelander High School;
  • A five-year-old girl said a male student who identified as “gender fluid” sexually molested her inside the restroom of Oakhurst Elementary School in Decatur, Georgia, on November 16, 2017. The school district violated Title IX by failing to adequately investigate the incident, according to a 2020 ruling from the Office of Civil Rights in the Trump administration’s Education Department; and
  • Police arrested a man for indecent exposure inside a women’s restroom in Charlotte, North Carolina, in July 2016.

Similar outrages have occurred in intimate facilities other than restrooms:

  • The Daily Mail reported this month that prison authorities transferred convicted child rapist Brett David Sonia, who now identifies as Brooke Lyn Sonia, to Washington Correctional Center for Women, reportedly leaving women “petrified” they will be victimized next;
  • In July 2016, police arrested a man for recording a young girl changing her clothes inside a Target changing room. Sean Patrick Smith, who identified as woman named “Shauna Patricia Smith,” reportedly told police that he exploited Target’s celebrated, transgender-friendly policies to record several young women undressing. Smith entered a guilty plea to one count of video voyeurism in October 2016; and
  • Officials accused voyeurs of recording similar, surreptitious videos in Target’s multi-sex changing rooms in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Texas in 2016 alone.

The real difference on the issue comes down to ideology, not age, PRRI states. The Silent Generation, Baby Boomers, and Generation X oppose opening restrooms to transgender people. Americans aged 30-49 are evenly split, while those 18-29 support transgender restroom use. But the report notes that Millennials and Gen Z who belong to the Republican Party side with older Republicans in backing restroom privacy legislation.

“Generational divisions, then, are largely attributable to differences in the generations to identify with the Democratic or Republican Party,” says the survey. “If younger cohorts start identifying more with the Republican Party,” support for restroom privacy will increase.

“It is not guaranteed that demographic change means a destiny of victory for LGBTQ equality,” concludes PRRI.

Values play a strong role in how citizens view transgender restrooms. A majority of “members of all religious groups support requiring transgender individuals to use bathrooms that correspond to their sex,” notes PRRI, “including three in four white evangelical Protestants (75%), 64% of other Christians, 58% of white mainline Protestants, 57% of Black Protestants (57%), 53% of white Catholics, 51% of Hispanic Catholics, and 50% of non-Christian religious Americans.” Yet only 34% of the Nones support gender privacy.

Americans who believe there are only two sexes are also three times more likely to support separate restroom and changing spaces than those who believe in gender fluidity (69% vs. 23%).

What’s more, the poll’s results fall to the left of many other surveys; for instance, a 2016 WPA Opinion poll found two-thirds of all Americans oppose transgender restrooms. PRRI’s declining numbers indicate public support has eroded even more than the report lets on. The title of the report announcing these results, “Challenges In Moving Toward A More Inclusive Democracy,” reflects PRRI’s pique.

PRRI also complains that “Americans who most trust far-right news outlets” are “notably more likely to support” restroom privacy (84%), even more than those whose first news choice is Fox News (78%). Americans who “most trust mainstream outlets are much less likely to support” female restroom rights (44%).

Time magazine ran an article in 2016 titled, “Transgender Bathroom: Advocates Say ‘Predator’ is Myth.” A year later, CNN asserted that “there is no evidence” that policies giving males access to female’s intimate spaces “lead to attacks in public facilities.”

Nearly two out of three people who stopped or curbed their viewing of CNN (61%) agreed that “one of the reasons I find myself watching CNN less often is because of its liberal/left-wing bias,” according to a new poll from the Media Research Center.

Attached is an Intelligence Briefing on Healthcare directly related to Illegals and Refugees flowing into the United States. While the rhetoric regarding illegal crossings flowing into America and the concomitant influx of Middle Eastern “Refugees” into targeted States rages, the intelligence contained in this Briefing Summary transcends the debates, issues of political correctness, and politics in general. The content herein stated is already at a critical stature, and could quickly spiral out-of-control and represent a pandemic set of circumstances. You will receive unvarnished candor about the growing concerns health care professionals already are confronting in over twelve states, and multiplying.

This memorandum stems from a formal closed-door Intelligence Briefing I provided at the Arizona State Senate on August 17th, 2016. We are now about one month later, and the conditions in multiple states, including the Border States of Arizona, California, and Texas are reportedly more challenging, and purposefully kept under the public radar.

Among the most remarkable acute diseases arriving with illegals are: scurvy, measles, chicken-pox, acute explosive diarrhea with third-world bacterial agents, and unknown bacteria and parasites attempting to resist antibiotics, as well as pernicious and new forms of lice and worms. It is well known, but concealed and not reported to local and State health officials by the Federal Government, large segments of the unaccompanied children coming into America are seriously ill coupled with remarkable malnourished syndrome. Additionally, numbers of TB cases are increasing rapidly, including treatment resistant TB.

The Federal Government has now increased the speed and volume of third-world populations into the United States; interestingly, especially into politically conservative states. The calculated work of the Feds has led to Muslims by the thousands from mostly terribly underdeveloped and deteriorating Muslim countries, including those Islamic Nations hostile to the United States, now arriving. The U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest has presented official figures depicting a massive spike in Green Cards for Middle Easterners; most notably, Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Syria, and Iran. In 2014 (the most recent year for which data is available) the U.S. awarded Green Cards to 103,901 immigrants from Middle Eastern countries entitling the holder to permanent legal status, federal benefits, and a direct path to US citizenship. This is a 32% increase from the 78,917 given the year prior. These numbers do not reflect the numbers of illegals and Middle Easterners successfully entering America from our unsecure southern Border. There are unknown numbers of third-world humanity stemming from Haiti, Central America, and South America.

The influx of humanity that is being discarded by these third-world Muslim countries is astounding, and fearful. These people bring nothing of value with them; no skills, no education, no work ethic or even moral framework. In point of fact, the preponderant majority of these people are hardened

criminals, many purposefully released from prisons, and warriors who have only known civil war and strife by opposing gangs and warlords. Their health conditions are terrifying which will demand a response to stem epidemic.

For the first-time, medical professionals this past June found a person in Pennsylvania carrying a bacteria resistant to antibiotics. This finding is highly disturbing, and health officials are sobered and alarmed. In the past two weeks, a high school in Manhattan, Kansas experienced an outbreak of unknown type of bacteria or parasite creating bloody diarrhea, coughing and fever in over 150-students. Parents were asked to collect specimens from their children for lab exams. Refugees dumped in Vermont, North Dakota, Nebraska, Maryland have acute TB. This past week in Riverside, California, two cases of Leprosy have now been found on grade-school age children; Lab samples were sent to a specialty lab in Louisiana for confirmation but it will take 2-weeks for a definitive diagnosis. Here in Arizona, over 100-cases of chlorine resistant bacteria were discovered in a couple of city operated pools.

At the federal level there is silence coupled with denial. At the state level, for at least upwards of fifteen states, there is horror as to what they are challenged with now, and concerned with in months ahead.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) and other agencies coordinating mass refugee resettlement are quick to reassure the public that NO problems exist, that speculation is merely politically motivated. But data from health services in the States of Florida and Indiana belie that claim. These two states have aggressively been combatting the out-of-control refugee resettlement program fully underway in America. The health services in these two states have confronted the political hogwash and typical political speak oxymoron spilling out from various federal agencies, especially CDC. As an example, State of Florida Health Officials caught the

listing refugees as diagnosed with TB as, “Active Tuberculosis – noninfectious.”

Among the most serious responsibilities an Elected Official has upon being sworn into office is the responsibility to provide for the protection and welfare of the citizens to whom he/she serves. A ticking medical time bomb exists across America with the ever increasing rise of illegals from third-world countries, and the refugee relocation program sponsored by the Washington establishment. A Clear and Present danger that knows no political ideology or party or candidate, but is stealthily spreading seeking new places to hide and take up residence. The chance for contracting a vicious disease mentioned in this report becomes ever significant, and this statement is NOT political rhetoric.

A year ago, I wrote a commentary about how the Left was giving up its War on Christmas and was trying to convince people it had never started the War in the first place.  I haven’t seen any War on Christmas articles this year and I attribute that to how effective the political Right can be when it decides to fight back.

The Right is fighting back, now, in other areas, and winning.  Hate to break it to you Lefties, but you are NOT on the two-yard line and total victory is NOT in your grasp like you think.  You are losing on a number of fronts, starting with abortion.

Everybody knows the Left was smashed in the Dobbs case, but fewer people know about the pro-life flight attendant who sued Southwest Airlines for wrongful termination after she criticized her union president for taking part in the Women’s March.  The March was sponsored in part by Planned Parenthood.  A jury awarded the flight attendant $5 million and a judge ordered Southwest to rehire her.  In a new court fight, a Texas nurse sued to stop the Biden administration from turning VA hospitals into abortion clinics in violation of federal law.

Legal fights on other fronts are underway.  Two flight attendants sued Alaska Airlines for firing them for commenting that expanding federal law to prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity would raise religious liberty concerns.  Actor Kirk Cameron threatened to sue libraries that host drag queen story hour but won’t rent him a room on the same terms for a reading of his own children’s book about the Christian faith.  Writer Chris Rufo threatened to sue teachers’ union president Randi Weingarten if she does not retract a quote she fabricated regarding Rufo’s position on school choice.

One last fight on the legal front: state lawmakers in Texas plan to introduce legislation to allow district attorneys around the state to bring charges against people who provide abortions against state law where the local prosecutor has vowed not to act.

On other fronts, another piece of the ‘patriot economy’ is getting built.  We have seen conservatives start social media platforms, a mobile phone company, and even a shaving club.  Now comes country singer John Rich announcing the creation of a new bank for people worried about Woke banks punishing them for their political beliefs.  He pointed to the Canadian banks that froze the accounts of truckers who took part in protests against the COVID vaccine mandate.  He also cited PayPal which, earlier this year, started fining its customers for what PayPal deemed ‘misinformation’.

Another battleground is the minds of the young.  A Massachusetts mother worked with cult specialists to retrieve the mind of her daughter who went away to college and came back raving about the patriarchy, systems of oppression, and other leftist claptrap.  A women’s soccer player at Virginia Tech refused to kneel during the national anthem at games.  The coach benched her and verbally abused her, so she sued.  A high school football team in California was ordered by a local superintendent not to carry the Thin Blue Line flag onto the field for pregame ceremonies because it might upset some players on the team who don’t support law enforcement.  The team complied with the order for a few weeks, but then rebelled and reinstated the tradition.  Lastly, conservative students around the country – fed up with the dominant liberal line on their campuses – are starting their own college newspapers.

So you see, Leftists, you’re not even close to the goal line and won’t ever be.  They only way you can win is to make your stupid ideas ubiquitous and shut out all other voices.  But you will never succeed in controlling our thoughts.  There will always be people with common sense who see right through your insanity about abolishing prisons and 57 genders.  You are losing ground among blacks, Hispanics, Asians, women, and the young.  The tide is turning; you just don’t know it yet.

Do We Have to Accept Transgenderism If It’s ‘Inborn’?

Question: Is the following a good summation of the argument used, starting decades ago, to normalize homosexuality?

“Many researchers [are] taking a different view of homosexuality,” a newspaper wrote late last century. “Homosexuality once was thought to stem from psychological influences early in life. Now, many experts view it as a deep-rooted predisposition that does not change.” These “experts view it as a sexual orientation as immutable as heterosexuality…,” the periodical later added.

You may recognize this as the foundation of the “born that way” argument, with such claims regularly used to promote the idea that if something is innate, questioning it smacks of bigotry. But I have a confession to make: I told a little fib (for effect). The above quotation is not from decades ago but from the Los Angeles Times on January 14, 2013 — and the subject wasn’t “homosexuality.” I’d inserted that term in place of another: pedophilia.

The passage originally read:

“Many researchers [are] taking a different view of pedophilia. Pedophilia once was thought to stem from psychological influences early in life. Now, many experts view it as a deep-rooted predisposition that does not change.” These “experts view it as a sexual orientation as immutable as heterosexuality or homosexuality.”

Oh, what a tangled web we weave, huh?

This comes to mind, again, because the born-that-way argument is now also used to justify MUSSes (Made-up Sexual Statuses, aka “transgender” ones). But its use to whitewash pedophilia is illustrative: If the principle is valid, then anything — from the good to the bad to the ugly — is morally licit if it’s inborn. That way lies madness and civilizational death.

Note here that “experts” have also told us that psychopathy is inborn and that, similarly, genes may cause alcoholism. (We’re all just organic robots, some pounds of chemicals and water, whose behavior is explainable via hardware and software, don’t you know?) Does this mean that if someone is born with homicidal instincts, it’s okay for him to commit murder? Should we endorse a person’s liter-a-day gin habit if his urge to drink like a fish is innate?

This can be analogized to physicality. We know man can manifest a multitude of physical abnormalities; e.g., spina bifida, cleft palate, heart defects, microcephaly, cystic fibrosis. We recognize that they are in fact abnormalities and undesirable states of being, however, and correct or at least mitigate them when possible. Why, someone I know well was born with one foot turned inwards 90 degrees. But his physician father, understanding the malleability of babies’ bones, gradually corrected the problem by taping the foot appropriately. Should he have left it as it was because the kid was “born that way”?

The point is, again, that something’s status as inborn has no bearing whatsoever on whether it’s good from a human-health standpoint or, in behaviors’ case, its morality. As to the latter, the lesson here could be said to be that genetics doesn’t determine morality; however, espousing the born-that-way argument is, in fact, to act as if morality doesn’t even exist and replace it with biological determinism. And, once more, this principle could justify anything — as long as it’s considered innate.

Some may now say, referencing pedophilia and the homicidal instincts example, “But, wait, they’re not like ‘transgenderism.’ Those things are wrong!” Congratulations. By citing their “wrongness,” you’re instinctively recognizing the Truth: Morality exists and is above those supposedly biologically induced feelings (and corresponding behaviors) — for if it can be used as a yardstick with which to judge them, it is above them.

This said, even the Bible alludes to genetically influenced misdeeds; e.g., “The sins of the father will be visited upon the child.” There’s no question people are born with different characteristic weaknesses and temptation tendencies; one person may have a greater urge to drink heavily while another may be more inclined toward lust. This doesn’t mean they should give their darker urges free rein, however, but that they should cultivate the virtue (good moral habits) that can preclude their acting upon them.

If anyone still disagrees, note that many scientists now say we’re born “racist.” So if “born that way”=behavior a-okay, it must be bigoted to pejoratively call someone racist. Just pass out the white KKK hoods and New Black Panther party berets, and shut the heck up.
