Musk Slams Soros on Rogan Show: ‘He Hates Humanity,’ ‘Eroding the Fabric of Civilization’

Tesla CEO and X/Twitter owner Elon Musk told Joe Rogan on Tuesday that billionaire Democrat financier George Soros is “eroding the fabric of civilization,” and that he “hates humanity.”

“In my opinion, [Soros] fundamentally hates humanity,” Musk said. “He’s doing things that erode the fabric of civilization — getting DA’s elected who refuse to prosecute crime.”

“That’s part of the problem in San Francisco and LA and a bunch of other cities. So why would you do that?” Musk added, to which Rogan asked, “Is it humanity or is it just the United States as a whole?”

“He’s pushing things in other countries, too,” the Tesla CEO said. “He’s very good at arbitrage. You know, famously, he shorted the British pound. That’s sort of how I think he made his first of money, was shorting the pound.”

“So he’s good at spotting, basically, arbitrage — spotting value for money that other people don’t see,” Musk added.

Musk went on to explain that “one of the things [Soros] noticed was that the value for money in local races is much higher than it is in national races.”

“The lowest value for money is a presidential race. Then the next lowest value for money is a senate race, then a congress, but once you get to city and state district attorneys, the value for money is extremely good,” Musk said.

“And Soros realized you don’t need to actually change the laws, you just need to change how they’re enforced,” he added. “If nobody chooses to enforce the laws, or if the laws are differentially enforced, it’s like changing the laws. That’s what he figured out.”

Musk also pointed out that Soros is a top contributor to the Democrat Party.

Cornel West Rants Against ‘Genocidal’ Israel in Pro-Palestinian Rally

By Discover The Networks

Dr. Cornel West, radical professor-turned-independent presidential candidate, delivered a speech at a pro-Palestinian rally on Saturday in which he ranted against the “genocidal” existence of the state of Israel.

In a video West posted to his own Twitter/X account, he declared:

Let the word go forth here and now, that we stand with our brothers and sisters and siblings dealing with unbelievable assault and attack, genocidal on the one hand, but 75 years of it, and we still stand tall, they still stand tall, ’cause any time, yes, any time everyday people straighten their backs up they’re going somewhere, because folk can’t ride our back unless it’s bent, and we are standing in solidarity.

The reference to “75 years” is a reference to the creation of the State of Israel in 1948. The claim that its very existence constitutes “genocide” is an inversion of history, and implies that Israel is illegitimate and should be destroyed.

Later, West declared:

Don’t let any of these mainstream folks try to manipulate you and say you hate Jewish brothers and sisters — you hate an Israeli occupation! You hate an Israeli genocidal attack on our precious siblings, Palestinian siblings in Gaza! … And some of us will be faithful unto death! Just like those in Gaza and faithful unto death!

Israel is attacking Hamas and other terror organizations in Gaza, while encouraging civilians to take refuge in safe zones in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. The call to fight “unto death” echoes the slogans of many of those same terror organizations, which are attempting to stop Palestinians from fleeing and would prefer death to coexistence or surrender.

Not once in the video did West condemn Hamas, or terror against Israeli civilians, though he did call for learning “how to live with Israeli brothers and sisters.”

West also marched in the same rally holding a banner depicting “Zionism” as a snake, a common theme in antisemitic imagery.

Defeating Manufactured Fear: How to Defuse the Left’s Most Powerful Tool thumbnail

Defeating Manufactured Fear: How to Defuse the Left’s Most Powerful Tool

By John Droz, Jr.

Fear has been shown to be a VERY effective way of getting people to be compliant.

Every day we are barraged with a slew of fears: inflation, national debt, terrorism, city riots, drug deaths (e.g., fentanyl), community killings, out-of-control immigration, school propaganda, legislative self-serving, executive branch incompetence, judicial bias, corporation corruption, climate, COVID-19, China, Russia, etc., etc.

A case can be made that we are living in really bad times so fear is warranted. But two quick thoughts:

a) what can the average citizen do about most of the threats we are dealing with? and

b) doesn’t this incessantly foreboding fear desensitize us?

Let’s back up a bit and consider what goes on internally in us that causes fear. Anxiety is typically at the root of this emotion, and anxiety is usually the result of a perception that we lack control (i.e., a comforting plan). Regardless of the threat, if we believe that we have a safe way out, our fear will be minimal.

Whether fear is a good or bad thing, has been debated for a long time. On the one hand, fear can be beneficial when it is a wake-up call. On the other hand, it is detrimental when it causes us to give up in the face of a perceived threat, or when it eats away at our health, relationships, enjoyment of life, etc.

Another significant matter here is when a fear-inducing claim is made, who is responsible for establishing its authenticity: the alarmist or us? Fear perpetrators almost always rely on deference to authority: these supposed experts say “do such-and-such.” In other words, you should toe the line and go along (be compliant).

This article has some good insights, like explaining the difference between stress and fear:

Stresses come in many varieties—viral, bacterial, parasitic, fungal, toxic, chemical, mechanical, emotional, physical, and spiritual. Many of the assaults on our bodies are just part of living in our modern world. We can’t avoid air pollution. We can’t stop all the germs that land on us in the elevator. We can’t change modern-day farming practices. There is much we can not control, but fear is a bit different.

It comes in one variety: thoughts that start with “what if,” and often end up with a worst-case scenario. The fear of loss in humans is very keen — a primary motivator that has made many advertisers rich. What if you lose your job? Or your child? Or your lover? Or your home? Or your reputation? Or your car? Or your wallet? Or your mind? Or your health? So many things to lose!…

There are two major worldwide fears we have been continuously bludgeoned with:

a) Climate Change. The basic message is: unless we make radical societal changes, the world will come to an end in 10± years. You might think this fear is the worst that we can be threatened with, but no…

b) COVID. The basic message was: unless you are willing to drastically surrender your rights and freedoms, you or your loved ones will likely die very quickly.

There are several tactics to counter these fear-inducing messages (like just ignoring them), and two (2) have proven to be very effective:

1 Critical Thinking

2 God

1 – CRITICAL THINKING regarding Climate or COVID would reveal that the media messages we are being fed are purposefully designed to create and feed fear. This should not be a surprise, as feeding fear has a long tradition in media — as they believe that bad news sells much better than good news.

Worse is that many of the media messages we are being fed are without merit. This also should not really be a surprise, as how many journalists writing about highly technical matters like Climate or COVID are bonafide experts (real scientists)? Almost none.

They might argue that they are just passing on what the “experts” are saying. That might sound sensible, but it is false, as they only endorse and pass on what SOME experts are saying. Since experts differ on both of these complex issues, how does a non-technical journalist decide which experts are right?

They do not have the technical background to make a science-based determination!

For example, there are experts on both sides of the issue as to whether black holes exist. If a journalist writes about this topic, they have no business taking a side. Instead, they should write objectively and thoroughly about the arguments made on BOTH sides — and let the reader make up their own mind.

None of that is happening regarding the mainstream media’s handling of technical matters (Climate, COVID, energy, etc.)!

One of their arguments would likely be that they are just passing on what the “majority” of experts are saying. That is more BS meant to fool non-critically thinking citizens. For example, do they have proof that the majority of climate experts believe that unless radical changes are made immediately, the planet will cease to exist in 10± years? Of course, they have no such thing!

That leaves citizens who want accurate information one choice: do their own investigation and apply Critical Thinking. Checking things out on their own, they will likely come across experts who are more interested in the Truth, rather than going along with what is politically popular. Citizens would do well to listen to such parties — but should still apply Critical Thinking to what they are told even from them. (My twice-a-month Newsletter is a free vehicle for such sources.)

The same would apply to multiple other societal issues. For example, we know that an eight-year-old does not have the maturity to: drive a car, own a gun, drink a beer, get married, decide whether or not to wear a COVID mask, etc., etc. So (critically thinking about this), what sense does it make to say that this same child has the maturity to make a sex change decision — that will have extraordinarily profound consequences on them for the rest of their life?

My last observations about Critical Thinking start with the reality that keeping things in perspective is a key objective for maintaining mental, emotional, and spiritual health… We need to appreciate that fear prevents an organized, rational resistance — which is exactly what the bad actors are hoping for… Manufactured (and exaggerated) Fear is intended to divide us (e.g., see here). To counteract that, surround yourself with quality people.

In other words: have strong personal relationships in your life. For example, if you are in a committed relationship with the love of your life, societal troubles will fade into the background.

2 – GOD. A powerful conclusion from a critical thinking analysis on these societal fears we are being subjected to, is that many of these are not simply a difference of opinion, but rather are just evil. Many of us tend to be skittish when it comes to taking a stand on moral issues, and that is exactly what our opponents want us to do: stay on the sidelines, be wishy-washy, etc. That leaves the playing fields open to bad actors to wreak havoc on America and our Judeo-Christian standards.

When we have a proper perspective on why we exist, God is the most logical answer. For example, as a professional scientist, I say that to believe that we are just a statistical part of a Big Bang, is stretching credulity beyond the breaking point.

If we really believe in — and are on good terms with — God, then the threat of a “worst-case scenario” is actually an illusion. If the world ends or we die, so what? All that has happened is that our time to get an eternal reward is accelerated. This is one of the main reasons that our country’s opponents want to undermine our Judeo-Christain beliefs, as they are a powerful anecdote to their fabricated fears

God is the guaranteed anecdote for the evil we are being subjected to, as God’s power is far greater than all the evil in the world combined. But there is a hitch: this power will not come into play until a) we acknowledge it, b) we ask for it, and c) we do our part: pray as if everything depends on God, but work as if everything depends on us.

Some people are resistant to accepting the God part because they say things like “How could God stand by and allow XYZ to happen?” The fact is that God understands the Big Picture of the world a thousand times more than any of us do — so for us to say we need to have it explained to us why God does something, is arrogant.

Following the logical plan of Critical Thinking + God will result in less stress and more comfort. It will also open the door to more happiness (see our recent discussion on that).

Some additional interesting thoughts on this topic:

I like this quote: “Fear is like heroin: it takes more and more to get the same high until it finally kills you.”

‘Protests’ are the New Pogroms thumbnail

‘Protests’ are the New Pogroms

By Jihad Watch

“We are here for the Jews, we came to kill them with knives and shoot at them.”

Pogroms are the new protests.

The AP which is pretty much 24/7 Hamas propaganda headlined its coverage of the Dagestan Muslim mob descending on an airport hunting for Jews to kill as a “protest”.

Crowd Storms Russian Airport to protest flight from Israel – AP

Here’s the AP propaganda.

Hundreds of people on Sunday stormed into the main airport in Russia’s Dagestan region and onto the landing field to protest the arrival of an airliner from Israel, Russian news agencies and social media reported.

Authorities closed the airport in Makhachkala, the capital of the predominantly Muslim region, and police converged on the facility. There were no immediate reports of injuries or arrests.

And here’s reality.

20 people were injured, 2 of them in critical condition, and the Muslim mob came to kill Jews.

Footage reportedly from the scene shared on local Telegram channels showed a hoard of people, Muslim pro-Palestinians, chanting “Allahu Akbar” and stopping cars to check the documents of passengers, ensuring they were not Israeli or Jewish, carrying Palestinian flags. In one of the videos that circulated social media, a rioter can be heard saying: “We are here for the Jews, we came to kill them with knives and shoot at them.”

Here’s videos of the “protesters”.

“Why are you here?” “I came for the Jews.” “The Jews?” “Yes, to kill them”

Mike Johnson in his Own Words thumbnail

Mike Johnson in his Own Words

By Jerry Newcombe

After Louisiana Congressman Mike Johnson was voted in as the Speaker of the House, many on the left threw a fit about him. He has been described as:

  • an “extremist” by Congresswoman AOC of New York City.
  • a “Christian Nationalist” by a Christian professor (John Fea, Messiah College).
  • a “staunch conservative on issues like abortion and government spending” by journalist Garrett Haake of NBC News and MSNBC.

And on it goes.

But the reality is that Mike Johnson stands in a long tradition of American leaders who looked to God and the Bible for guidance. If you know history, you know that great Americans like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Martin Luther King, Jr. were regular readers of the Scriptures.

Today’s secularists have so successfully cut us off from our Judeo-Christian traditions that someone like Mike Johnson is supposedly an interloper in an otherwise blissfully secular America, to paraphrase the late D. James Kennedy.

Mike Johnson, a constitutional attorney, first became known among many in the Christian community because of his legal work in the Alliance Defending Freedom (the ADF)—an organization co-founded by D. James Kennedy, James Dobson, the late Bill Bright, Marlin Maddoux, Larry Burkett, and others.

At D. James Kennedy Ministries, we have had the privilege to interview Mike Johnson on occasion. Here are some of his own words on what America is all about (or what the framers intended it to be all about).

Our God-given rights

“We are endowed by our Creator with these certain inalienable rights. [America’s founders] put that in their writings, it’s reflected in all of their documents, their personal letters, and that’s what it’s really about.”

On Religious Liberty

“My background before I got to Congress is in constitutional law. I worked for the Alliance Defending Freedom, and we defended religious freedom and the right of conscience in courts all around the country, and we’ve seen an increasing assault on that most fundamental freedom that we have. We call religious liberty our first freedom, for a reason of course, because it’s listed first. And that’s because the founders understood: your right to believe and to act upon that belief is essential to who you are as an American, but even more fundamental than that, who you are as a human being. And so it’s critically important to protect it.”

On Threats Against Religious Freedom

“And yet we’ve seen this increasing assault over the last several decades really, it’s been growing. And right now it’s just at a critical point. You have an empowered, kind of radicalized left, who is trying to steamroll over this idea of religious freedom, and they’ve had some success in recent decades. So we’re trying to roll back some of that to defend what’s left of that ground, and even take some back. And we’re gratified that we’re seeing some strides in that result.”

On a Growing Hostility to the Judeo-Christian Heritage

“Instead of seeing a tolerance for people of all ideologies and all faiths, what we’ve seen is a growing hostility, an outright hostility towards one particular faith. And that’s the Christian faith, in almost every case. The Judeo Christian heritage that we all revere, and those who live in accordance with those principles, are under assault.”

On This Present Moment

“I say all the time, it’s a great time to be alive if you have the answers. We know we’re in difficult times, but it’s never been more important to be able to give voice and a witness to the truth. We live in a postmodern era, as we know, and we live in a nation, sadly, of biblical and constitutional illiterates. It’s easy to take freedom away from a people if they don’t even know what those freedoms are. So it’s never been more important to be a bold voice.”

Called to be “Winsome Warriors”

“We’re called to be winsome warriors. We’re called to be gentle with those who disagree, we demolish their arguments, but we recognize they’re not the enemy. The enemy is the principalities, right? And I find that you can get a long way with being winsome about that. We don’t have any reason to be angry at anybody. I think [Mike] Huckabee said one time, ‘I’m a conservative, but I’m not mad at anybody about it.’ That’s kind of my philosophy. And I think that…we can approach those, even with whom we vehemently disagree, just talk with them reasonably. Reason together. We can…make some headway, and we’re beginning to see some of that even in the Congress, believe it or not.”

If Mike Johnson is an “extremist” and a “Christian Nationalist,” then so were George Washington, John Adams, and most of America’s founders. And I’ll gladly take more of that rather than less of it.

How Do You Eat a RINO. . .? thumbnail

How Do You Eat a RINO. . .?

By Karen Schoen

What was your take-away from the recent 3-week House Speaker battle?

I learned that America’s Silent Majority is silent…no longer. I learned that, when we work together, we are a Force like no other, and that the “Elite” are not as elite as they like to think. Actually, they are much smaller in numbers than we were led to believe by the lying media. I learned how to eat a RINO, one bite at a time.

The Marxist Left always says, “Never let a good crisis go to waste.”  In the news cycle, you can see the power of this plan, of this agenda.

The lies and maneuvers of the Speaker of the House election. The extraordinary convenience of Hamas genocide on Jews. Despicable behavior by the Marxist Left, supporting Hamas actions and making excuses for them. That Israel is the Bad Guy.

All these events create severe Crisis in our country, and the World. The stage is set for WWIII.

The World, as a result, now knows exactly what the Marxist Left thinks of We the People. The people of America, and the people of the World, have had enough!

There are over 20+ food plants that caught fire and were destroyed in 2022. Are all these food plant fires a coincidence? Are they planned out? It is estimated that these fires have reduced our food supply by 2%. Doesn’t sound like much, but that much does impact our fragile food supply chain. No, Klaus Schwab, (Chairman of the World Economic Forum) we will not eat your bugs. You can have them.

Can someone tell me what is the difference between killing a baby before it is born, and killing a baby after it is born?  Putting baby killing in perspective, Hamas just finished what Planned Parenthood started, the death of babies.  Abortion is baby killing, how about we call it what it is, and stop letting the Left continue driving the agenda and defining our words?

Around the world, things are changing as the people who believe in their country stand up for Freedom. In the Argentina election, a come-from-behind candidate, populist Javier Melie, is in a run-off election with the man who destroyed Argentina. Don’t let that election be stolen. The interesting thing about that election is that Polls opened at 8 a.m. (1100 GMT) and close, 10 hours later. Voting is conducted with paper ballots, making the count unpredictable, but initial results were expected around four hours after polls close. I hope Milei wins the run-off.  Don’t let anyone tell you they can’t conduct an election with paper ballots.

The conservative leader in Canada, Pierre Poilievre, shows us how to talk to the know-nothing, lowered-standards, Affirmative Action Graduate Lefties. Can you show his video below, at your next meeting? Question the Lefties, write comments back to them in paper format or on-line. Make the Lefties support their worthless policies. Ask them, “What is MAGA?”

Ask them, “Why do we give U.S. citizen seniors only $1400 a month, when Illegals get $2200 a month for each adult and child? Why is it a good thing? Why are the U.S. Taxpayers giving money to people that never worked for it? Why give taxpayer money to non-U.S. Citizens?

In America, the RINO swamp must be primaried out, specifically those who put their constituents last, like Vern RINO Buchanan:

Buchanan Bowls at Biden White House After Opposing Jim Jordan Speaker Bid

Our calls help:

Ken Buck is being evicted from his main Colorado office. The landlord is a major GOP donor.

Tom Emmer is a never Trumper that should NEVER become Speaker or get re-elected.

Knives out in House GOP whip race over Electoral College abolition

Vet your candidates:

PoliticsThatWork.com – check voting records

OpenSecrets.org – check where they get donations

Our calls worked, and finally the Swamp got the message. Mike Johnson, a man who believes in the values of America, was elected as Speaker of the House.  Business will not be as usual. We the people are now in charge of our lives, and our destiny. We are many, they are few, and we no longer listen to you, or believe the garbage that you spew.

Matt Gaetz to Steve Bannon: “If you don’t think that moving from Kevin McCarthy to MAGA Mike Johnson shows the ascendance of this Movement, and where the power in the Republican Party truly lies, then you’re not paying attention.”  The American Blacks get it. The American Hispanics get it. The American Asians get it. The American Indians get it. But I fear the American Jews are still out to lunch.

Tara Setmayer, senior adviser to the anti-Trump group Lincoln Project, called on the media to “stop burying the lede” about “MAGA Mike,” adding that he would “do the bidding of” the extremist agenda. What is the extremist agenda, you should ask. What does Make America Great Again mean?  Why would any American be against that?  We must ask!

Many other bobble heads said the same:

Paul Rieckhoff: “This is the biggest power grab for Trumpist since they won the White House in 2016.”

Joe Scarborough is crying that MAGA is stealing our Democracy. I hope so, Joe, because America IS NOT a Democracy. America is a Republic!

Jeff Timmer:  “It’s strange to say , but Matt Gaetz is 100% correct about this.”

Tim Miller: “Matt Gaetz keeps being right and it’s kind of annoying.”

Answer them –  and ask, ‘Why do you hate America? What are you afraid of?’

What has just happened over the past few weeks is just the beginning of what will be a reverse of power from the Swamp, back to the People.  This is a Hundred-Year battle, and it will take a long time to reverse. The Swamp will not give up power easily. This is a start.  Our job is just beginning.

It is not over by a long shot. But we should have learned that if we work together as Americans, we will win. The first step should be to drop all adjectives in front of America. We are America first, the largest group of Free people in the World. So let’s act like it.

Our next challenge is 2-fold. We must conduct oversight on the House. It is one thing to have Mike Johnson as Speaker to talk the talk, but what are the actions? We must watch and make calls to keep our representatives on-track, to represent us.

Then we have the 2024 Election.  The time to focus on the 2024 Election is now, not after when the courts can throw out evidence of impropriety, saying “NO STANDING”. So what is the solution?

First we must check our laws, and make sure they are being followed. In Florida, we must follow election law that says only citizens can vote. But who checks citizenship? No one.

Florida is also mandated to use machines to count the votes. Wording in Florida Statute 101.5604 must be changed. Audits of all equipment must be conducted by a non-biased 3rd-party, not the company providing the machines. Those are legislative issues and could take a long time to “fix.”

Second, what about now? What can We the People, do to secure the 2024 Election?  It’s simple. Secure the voter rolls.  According to law, the voter rolls must be accurate. If they are not accurate, elections cannot be certified. Certifying an inaccurate voter roll is unlawful. This is what Pence was supposed to do! Send back the results to the states that requested them, so that the states could recheck their voter rolls.   It is up to us to check the voter rolls, and verify that dead people didn’t vote, and that all information, especially addresses, are accurate.  Jovan Hutton Pulitzer has a plan, and can help you to insure that your precinct, your county, conducts accurate and secure elections, and what you can do about it. jovanhuttonpulitzer,substack.com

More Good News: Americans are rejecting foreign entities owning pieces of America

Governor Katie Hobbs (D-AZ) stopped the theft of AZ water by Saudi Arabia for their own farm land. But beware of the propaganda of lies in the past paragraph:

“Human-related air pollution is one of the key drivers of global heating, so moving away from dirty fuel, cutting meat consumption, and recycling are small but helpful ways to prevent the volumes of harmful, planet-warming gases we produce annually.”  Water vapor is 95% of greenhouse gas and humans can do nothing about that.

Thank you, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-AR). She gave China 2 years to get off of Arkansas farmland. What’s going on in your state, to stop foreign governments and companies from owning and destroying America?

Everything is connected. Nothing is random, Everything has a plan. All plans are lies. All Globalists want is MONEY, POWER, CONTROL. Don’t give them yours. Challenge them with the Truth. Is America worth saving?  Doing Nothing is affirmation.

The Perception of Three-Dimensionality: Our Paradoxical Curse thumbnail

The Perception of Three-Dimensionality: Our Paradoxical Curse

By Amil Imani

We are mere 3-D beings and cast our gaze upon this mortal realm through our feeble two-dimensional vision. Perceiving our three-dimensional world through a genuinely three-dimensional lens is a labyrinthine concept. To achieve such a feat, it is postulated that we must transcend our confines and attain the status of four-dimensional beings.

Our reality is like a three-dimensional playground, where we can hop up and down, skip left and right, and dash forward and backward with glee.

But we often ask ourselves, “Can we really see our fantastic world in all three dimensions, just like we navigate it?” Not really is the straightforward answer. For this, we’d have to evolve into four-dimensional beings, akin to leveling up in a game. Think of it like switching from playing a simple 2D game to embarking on an exhilarating 3D quest. It’s a captivating notion that bends the mind and stirs the imagination, wouldn’t you say?

In our limited existence, we behold a world endowed with three dimensions. However, our two-dimensional eyes render only two sizes to our perception. Objects around us cast two-dimensional shadows upon our retinas. Yet, in our peculiar human way, we extrapolate from these spectral shadows the voluminous truth of their three-dimensional form. Such an artifice, fundamental and intrinsic to our understanding, is our paradoxical curse.

To perceive our world in the veritable splendor of three dimensions, we, the fragile denizens of this realm, must ascend to the exalted status of four-dimensional beings. This notion finds its roots in the cryptic realm of multiple dimensions, an idea that whispers to us of universes that may transcend the trifling bounds of our perception.

So, what could be this 4-D perception?

The fourth dimension, speculated, could be the elusive dimension of time, granting us the ethereal ability to witness simultaneous events from myriad perspectives.

Yet the concept of n-dimensional perception beckons us deeper into the abyss of understanding. To perceive an n-dimensional world with n-dimensional vision, one must ascend to the rank of an (n+1) dimensional entity within the (n+1) dimensional world that cradles it.

This mysterious notion is often called “hyperspace,” which presents the disquieting proposition that our reality is imprisoned by our dimensionality, allowing us to apprehend only those dimensions that match our own.

This theory challenges the absoluteness of our perception and reality itself. It insinuates that our understanding of the world is a frail approximation, an illusory mirage bound by our dimensionality. Profound inquiries are awakened – what then of the nature of reality itself? Should our reality be four-dimensional or even grander, how does this revelation reverberate through the corridors of time, space, and causality?

These enigmas beckon philosophers, physicists, and mathematicians into an endless labyrinth of contemplation, an abyss from which there may be no return.

The perception of our three-dimensional world, seen through a three-dimensional lens, unfurls as a riddle, entwined with the very fabric of reality. Though we presently navigate our existence through the prism of three dimensions, ensnared by the shackles of our two-dimensional sight, the whispering of n-dimensional perception suggests we may be prisoners of our dimensionality. These tantalizing questions persistently torment inquisitive minds as they tread the dark and treacherous path of the unknown.

ADL CEO Slams Andre Carson For Threatening Jewish Congressman thumbnail

ADL CEO Slams Andre Carson For Threatening Jewish Congressman

By Discover The Networks

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt accused Rep. André Carson (D-IN) of attempting to “intimidate” a Jewish member of Congress, Josh Gottheimer.

“It’s inexcusable for any member of Congress to threaten a colleague, & especially egregious that @RepAndreCarson is threatening a Jewish member for speaking out at a moment when we’re seeing a massive spike in antisemitism,” Greenblatt wrote. “What’s the point? Does he think it’s productive to intimidate @RepJoshG?”

“He’s cowardly,” Carson said of Gottheimer (D-NJ). “I think he’s not acting in his role as a member of Congress. I think he’s shown himself to be very emotional. Like most cowardly people, when you confront them, they’re afraid. I’m unafraid of the guy. And if he wants to call us despicable, I’m saying he’s a coward and he’s a punk.”

“If he wants to play some kind of tough guy or gangster, we can handle it like gentlemen, or we can get into something else,” Carson added.

Carson’s comments came after Gottheimer slammed Carson and other Democrats who did not vote in favor of “condemning Hamas terrorists.”

“Last night, 15 of my Democratic colleagues voted AGAINST standing with our ally Israel and condemning Hamas terrorists who brutally murdered, raped, and kidnapped babies, children, men, women, and elderly, including Americans,” Gottheimer wrote in a post Thursday. “They are despicable and do not speak for our party.”

“Hamas terrorists brutally murdered, raped, burned alive, and kidnapped innocent babies, children, women, men, and elderly, including Americans,” he wrote Sunday. “Anyone claiming this was ‘military action’ is delusional and complicit in the spike of antisemitism and hate.”

Jihad Isn’t All About Israel thumbnail

Jihad Isn’t All About Israel

By Center For Security Policy

If you listen to some political pundits these days, on both sides of the aisle, you might get the mistaken impression that terrorism against the West only began with the creation of Israel, and only exists because of the West’s support for Israel. This claim routinely appears on college campuses by students parroting Middle East Studies professors. It’s an attractive viewpoint because it implies that if only the U.S. and European countries adopt an anti-Israel position that the terrorism would end.

The problem with this line of thinking is that it’s false. It ignores some 1400 years of Islamic doctrine of Jihad, warfare against non-believers in order to establish an Islamic state, ruled by Islamic law, known as Sharia. This is a common goal, shared by Al Qaeda, HAMAS, Hezbollah, Lashkar e Taiba, Abu Sayyaf, Jemaah Islamiyah, Boko Haram, Al Shabaab, ISIS, and others, which transcends any localized disagreements over borders and pure politics.

The doctrine behind global jihad is over a thousand years old. Tragically, it is one of the most successful “exports” in the world.

The obligation to wage Jihad to establish Sharia motivated the Umayyad Caliphate to conquer Spain and attack the Franks at the Battle of Tours in 732. And Even today Al Qaeda claims they will restore Islamic rule to “Al-Andalus.” It motivated the Ottomans to attack Vienna in 1529 and 1683. It motivated the Barbary states to seize American merchant shipping and enslave their crew, provoking the Barbary wars in 1801 and 1815. The obligation to wage Jihad was used to justify the Armenian genocide in 1915.

Likewise, it motivated Boko Haram to kidnap 300 young Christian schoolgirls in Nigeria 2014. Abu Sayyaf to kill 21 innocent Filipino civilians in 2015, Chechen terrorists to massacre 334 people, mostly children, in Beslan, Russia Federation in 2004.

None of these attacks had anything to do with Israel. All of them were about waging Jihad.

This is not to say that the Jewish people haven’t faced particular vitriol from jihadists across the ages. Islamic doctrines of antisemitism are as ancient and established as that of jihad, and also predate the modern state of Israel. Even if Israel evaporated tomorrow the overriding goal of establishing rule by sharia would not change, as long as there are those who take the obligation to impose sharia by force of arms seriously.

Jihadists target America not because it backs Israel but because it represents the biggest obstacle to achieving their global goal. That is why Iran refers to the US as the Great Satan and Israel as the Little Satan.

It is the height of arrogance to assume our enemies are motivated only by what we do. It’s a bizarre reverse bigotry that assumes that our opponents lack any agency or will of their own.

It is satisfying to believe that jihad is the fault of our own policy, because it gives us the mistaken belief that we are fully in control of our own fate and can end attacks against us just by making some policy changes.

The truth is Jihadists are not motivated only by our actions, but rather by their own doctrine. That means jihadists can only be temporarily deterred and must be defeated every time they rear their head.  The quicker our politicians—both Democrat and Republican—gain a full understanding of this, the better.

With Its October 7 Attack, Hamas Foolishly Repeated The Mistake Made By Al-Qaeda On September 11 thumbnail

With Its October 7 Attack, Hamas Foolishly Repeated The Mistake Made By Al-Qaeda On September 11

By Middle East Media Research Institute

EgyptPalestine | Special Dispatch No. 10916

In an October 19 article in the London-based daily Al-Arab, Egyptian Journalist Hesham Al-Nagar lambasted Hamas for its October 7 terror attack in southern Israel, stating that, like other jihadist terror organizations, it behaved “foolishly and rashly” and carried out “reckless military adventures” to gain a momentary victory, without considering the cost in Gazan civilian deaths.

Likening Hamas’ October 7 attack to Al-Qaeda’s September 11 attacks, Al-Nagar wrote that, instead of reading the international political map and using its strengths to promote the Palestinian cause, Hamas set itself the unrealistic goal of eliminating Israel, just as Al-Qaeda set itself the goal of destroying the U.S. and eliminating Western Society. This impractical notion of eliminating Israel, he argued, is far removed from the mentality or policies of a state, and only provides Israel with an excuse to pound Gaza. He added that Hamas is similar to Al-Qaeda, ISIS and other Salafi-jihadi organizations not only in its recklessness but also in its policies and ideology.

The following are translated excerpts from his article:[i]

“The Palestinian Hamas movement did not fail in management and governance the way [other] branches of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Arab countries failed. However, it suffered from stupidity and disconnection from reality, an affliction shared by all other jihadist groups when they wage their battles but ignore the question of the legitimacy or significance of this fighting.

“Unlike other Islamic entities, Hamas has the means to survive in the arena and become an inspiring mass movement, thanks to the justice of the cause it defends and the generous support it receives from many parties. [But] this Palestinian movement did not take advantage of the characteristics that make it unique. It was taken over by ideological affiliations and considerations of regional alliances, which brought it to the brink of deterioration and regression that characterize many Islamic and jihadist elements around the world.

“The recent events, which led to a war whose repercussions for the Gaza Strip front and other fronts are still unclear, gave rise to a series of comparisons between this Islamist-oriented Palestinian movement [Hamas] and other jihadist entities like Al-Qaeda. Many felt that Hamas, which is rooted in the Muslim Brotherhood, repeated the sin of Al-Qaeda, which is part of the Salafi-jihadi movement, namely its September 11 attack on U.S. soil. This [attack] provoked the U.S. and gave it an excuse to invade Afghanistan, after the Taliban [which controlled Afghanistan at the time] refused to surrender the planners of the attack… eliminate [Al-Qaeda’s] leaders and allow it no foothold in its Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

“These scenarios seem to be repeating themselves in a new arena. The unprecedented organized attacks launched by the elite units of Hamas’ military wing, the Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, on  Israeli targets on October 7 made an impact similar to that of the September [11] attacks on the Americans. Israel [now] wants to eliminate Hamas and its control [of Gaza], and is determined to eliminate and exterminate the leaders of this organization.

“This event is unlike the previous ones, in which Israel’s retaliatory [action] was confined to punishing Hamas and causing it to regret [its actions] and suspend its occasional and limited attacks for a long time. This time, Tel Aviv has clearly been dragged into a harsh conflict, after which the situation will not go back to the way it was, due to the blow suffered by [Israel’s] image, the deflation of its military and security arrogance, and the existential danger in which it found itself [on October 7].  According to statements by Israeli officials, this will prompt it to  continue its counterattack until Hamas is eliminated.

“As a matter of fact, this Palestinian movement [Hamas] managed to achieve what Al-Qaeda set out to achieve with its attacks on the U.S. more that two decades ago, [attacks] that were unprecedented in the history of global jihad… [Hamas] managed to deceive the entire experienced Israeli intelligence apparatus and the skilled Israeli army. But, ultimately, it [only] secured itself a place on the roster of organizations devoid of rationality and wisdom, which sought to achieve something big and score some points, without considering its implications and repercussions…

“While the Israelis did not believe that Hamas would dare to precipitate another war, which would cause the Palestinians to turn against it, the movement decided that ongoing war was to its benefit, and that what it had failed to achieve by keeping quiet could be achieved by playing with fire. Hamas, which is a branch of the global Muslim Brotherhood, betted on the intervention of the international community and of regional forces, as happened in the four previous wars in which Israel set out to eliminate it.

“Hamas did not consider the fate of the Palestinians, leaving them to be targeted by Israeli fire from the air, sea and land. It did not change its ways, even though it has repeatedly caused the destruction of [Gaza’s] water, power and sewage infrastructures, and given rise to scenes of children’s bodies being pulled out from under the rubble and of families uprooted and fleeing from their homes.

“Despite the fact that Israel caused terrible destruction to Gaza and its people, to all the Palestinians and their cause, and to Hamas itself, Hamas – which, like all other jihadi movements, lacks any rational thought – did not refrain from boasting about the results of its massive attack and presenting it as a glorious battle and a historic victory. [In this it is similar] to Al-Qaeda, which still celebrates the attacks of September 2001, and to the Egyptian Al-Gamaa al-Islamiya, which celebrates the assassination of President Anwar Al-Sadat in October 1981.

“Hamas was praised for the courage and bravery of the perpetrators of its great military operation, which was recorded as a historic achievement on its part. This brings it closer, in terms of its decision-making and conduct, to the classic jihad fighters, who are not remotely interested in the suffering they cause to peoples and the devastation that they bring to the regions and countries they themselves control, or co-rule.

“As is typical of the jihadists, Hamas did not invest in infrastructure, rehabilitation or building shelters for the residents, and at the same time made clear its intention to carry out plans that would lead to retaliation and the destruction of everything that had been built. This movement, which stunned the world by establishing a formidable military force in just a few years, rushes ahead with ill-advised military adventures, for it understands that the burden of reconstruction will be borne by Arab countries, international organizations and the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah…

“Hamas employs force without regard for any diplomatic objective, and without any horizon for a stable settlement, because it believes that the solution lies in the elimination of the Israeli entity, although this cannot be realized. [This is] similar to Al-Qaeda’s plan to destroy the U.S and Western civilization. That is why other parties [are forced to] intervene in order to heal the wounds left by the [Hamas’] adventures and to protect the Palestinians and their rights by proposing realistic initiatives and solutions [to the conflict] such as the two-state solution.

“The Palestinian movement [Hamas] did not learn from the lesson and experience of the Salafi- jihadi factions, even though it was able to take advantage of the uniqueness of the arena in which it operates and achieve an independent identity as a legitimate resistance movement. The stupidity and frivolity of the movement’s leaders caused it to be compared to ISIS, and prompted the U.S. to give Israel financial and military aid and greenlight its collective punishment of the Palestinians and its disregard of humanitarian law, the laws of war, international treaties and religious principles.

“Hamas did not learn from the long history of the Arab struggle with Israel, which was subject to a balance of power both in cases of victory and in cases of defeat, because Israel never fought alone: the West, led by the U.S., was always by its side. The resistance led by Hamas did not take into consideration the need for balance, even relative [balance], via-a-vis the Palestinians’ options and their ability to endure, especially in the Gaza Strip. Moreover, by continuing the sacrifice with no political returns, it has exhausted the [Palestinian] people, rather than the enemy.

“Hamas has missed golden opportunities to improve its performance and to increase the Palestinian achievements on the ground, through acts of resistance that are not related to axes and to ideologies, and which would unite all the Palestinians around a shared mode of operation and a

“In the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, Hamas sought to humiliate Israel and to trample upon its pride, while taking advantage of Israel’s severe internal crisis. [It was also motivated by] a desire to embarrass the Arabs, against the backdrop of progress towards a peace agreement between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

“Hamas also sought to demonstrate, 50 years after the Egyptian victory in the October 1973 war, that it is capable of carrying out a similar action.  It did this in order to strengthen its position in the Arab world and prove that Hamas and Iran can jointly inflict a military defeat on Israel, thus embarrassing the Arabs who have made peace agreements with it.

“While Egyptian President Anwar Al-Sadat went to war with Israel for the sake of making peace and restoring land, Hamas refuses to negotiate within a framework that recognizes the existence of Israel and the two-state solution, and seems to have no interest in making peace… Hamas’ conduct belongs to the approach, thinking and tactics of the jihad organizations, and in particular Al-Qaeda, which have nothing to do with the concepts, methods and operating frameworks of states. This brings Hamas into an endless zero-sum struggle, due to its very desire to destroy Israel, and while Israel strives to eliminate it and paralyze its capabilities, it causes damage and destruction in Gaza.”

Release All Political Prisoners Prosecuted by Biden’s DOJ

By Royal A. Brown III

I completely agree with the open letter to the Capitol Police written by Senior Chief Ross, U.S. Navy Retired below.

We have a 2-tiered justice system in the current federal Police State we are living in under the U.S. Department of IN-JUSTICE!

Those J6 protesters below sentenced to prison for over a year and having their lives ruined for same offense (interfering with official proceedings) as a Democrat Congressman who gets a $1000 fine and charges to be dismissed in 3 months. This is not only unfair but a total double standard and a travesty of injustice.

This is another example of the weaponized Obama 3/Biden regime using the politicized DOJ to overcharge people who disagree with them politically knowing those charged can’t compete in legal proceedings with the unlimited power of the Department of IN-JUSTICE and then hypocritically barely punishing a Democrat Congressperson for the same offense.

This kind of Double Standard of one system for Democrats, Marxists and those supporting Obama 3/Biden and another for those who oppose them and their socialist ideology must be curtailed.

Dear Capital Police, Washington DC

We are living in a Police State under construction led by the Biden Department of Justice and his Marxist pals.

Reference Communist Representative Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y.

He pleads guilty to a misdemeanor charge for pulling a fire alarm in an attempt to stop and interfere with a vote in a congressional building on Capitol Hill thus interfering with official proceedings.

Result: $1,000 fine and charges to be dismissed in 3 months.

Now compare this to

  • Connie Meggs, 60, of Dunnellon, Florida, she was sentenced to 15 months in prison and 36 months of supervised release. She was convicted of conspiring to obstruct an official proceeding. Same as Jamaal Bowman.
  • Ethan Nordean, 32, of Auburn, Washington, was sentenced to 18 years in prison and 36 months of supervised release. He was found guilty of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding. Same as Jamaal Bowman.
  • Leo Christopher Kelly, 37, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was sentenced to 30 months in prison, 36 months of supervised release, and ordered to pay $7,000. He was found guilty at trial of obstructing an official proceeding same as Jamaal Bowman.
  • William McCall Calhoun, Jr., 60, of Americus, Georgia, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for obstruction of an official proceeding, just like Jamaal Bowman. The DOJ said Calhoun was a practicing attorney in Georgia when sentenced.

The list is long I can continue –

The Communists running the DOJ protect those Marxists that support their police state agenda.

I look forward to seeing President Trump back in the White House in January 2025 where he will correct these miscarriages of Justice.

He will order the release of these and hundreds of others Biden’s political prisoners and then prosecute the Communists that inflicted this harsh punishments on their political opponents.

1 in 10 American Jews Support Hamas thumbnail

1 in 10 American Jews Support Hamas

By Jihad Watch

Jews for Jewish Genocide.

On October 18, Hamas supporters stormed the United States Capitol and rallied in the Canon rotunda against the Israeli campaign to stop the Islamic terrorist group. While many of the insurrectionists were Islamist and non-Jewish leftist activists, the event was linked to two veteran anti-Israel organizations: Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow.

There has always been a pro-terrorist fringe among American Jews exemplified by organizations such as these two, along with others such as J Street, the Israel Policy Forum, the New Israel Fund, Jews for Racial & Economic Justice, T’ruah and other anti-Israel groups. And while they have generally boasted more organizations than members, a new poll raises the question of what percentage of American Jews supports Hamas and the killing of Jews.

The answer in one poll is deeply troubling.

Cygnal polled Muslims and Jews in America. It found that 57% of Muslims believed that Hamas atrocities against Jews were justified. But a less widely reported result found that 11.5% of American Jews also agreed that Hamas was justified.

3.6% of American Jews “strongly agreed” that Hamas was justified while another 7.9% “somewhat agreed.”

While the vast majority of American Jews, 88.5% disagreed, there is a distinct minority of people who were born Jewish that supports killing Jews.

And supports Hamas.

Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh enjoys a 7.2% favorability rating among American Jews.

When asked if knowing that “Hamas is nothing but a proxy for Iran and is funded and supported by Iran. Would you be more or less likely to vote for a political candidate who supports releasing billions of dollars in frozen assets for Iran to use any way it chooses”, 10.8% of American Jews would be more likely to vote for such a candidate.

1 in 10 American Jews supports the murder of Jews. Not to mention the rape, torture, kidnapping and dismembering of Jews. That is the JVP, IfNotNow, J Street, T’ruah demographic.

Polls are flawed and Cygnal  dramatically oversamples Reform who make up 44.7% of the poll, but only 37% of American Jews, and Orthodox and Conservative Jews barely make up a quarter of the respondents, but the poll likely does reflect some percentage of American Jews.

They are the ones who rallied for Hamas in the Capitol and who, like Anna Epstein at Boston University, can be seen tearing down the posters showing the kidnapped women and children.

Anti-Israel groups over the years have claimed that they don’t support terrorism. Even the IfNotNow and JVP rallies operate under the false flag of calling for a ceasefire. Their allies from J Street to JFREJ to T’ruah use similarly misleading language. Some even claim to be advocating for the hostages. This is often enhanced by theatrical performances inappropriately using borrowed Jewish rituals such as a shofar, a tallit and the recitation of Kaddish, the mourning prayer, for Islamic terrorists.

In reality, IfNotNow’s first statement after the Hamas rape, torture, kidnapping and murder of Israelis asserted that, “we cannot and will not say today’s actions by Palestinian militants are unprovoked. Every day under Israel’s apartheid system is a provocation.” It made no mention of Hamas, but only claimed that the “blood is on the hands” of America and Israel.

But what the poll really lays bare is the worldview of Hamas supporters with Jewish last names. It does so without any of the dishonest language, the equivocation, the changes of subject that form the essence of their anti-Israel arguments. Asked if they support Hamas, they do.

It’s that simple and it was always that simple.

There is a percentage of American Jews whose leftist politics are so extreme that they back Hamas and the mass killing of Jews. We don’t know exactly what percent it is, is it really 11.5% or 7% or 3.6%. What we do know is that members of this group routinely lie and mislead about what they believe. They talk about peace when what they’re after is war. When they advocate for a ‘ceasefire’, what they really want is the unrestricted ability by Hamas to kill Jews.

They are not just opposed to the policies of a “right-wing Israeli government” or any Israeli government, they have a favorable view of Ismail Haniyeh: the leader of Hamas, who had bragged that the Islamic terror group would win because it loved death while “the Jews love life more than any other people, and they prefer not to die”.

They aren’t actually advocating for a deal with Iran, they just want an end to all sanctions on Iran even if it supports Hamas and even in the absence of any actual deal to end its nuclear program.

What does the anti-Israel fringe of the Jewish community support?

Israel released a recording of a Hamas terrorist excitedly calling his parents to tell them, “Father, I killed 10 Jews! Check your WhatsApp! I sent you the photos! Father, I killed 10 Jews! I killed 10 Jews with my bare hands. check your WhatsApp. Father, be proud of me!”

How did we get to the point where any percentage of American Jews supports Hamas?

Another poll, from Harvard/Harris, found that 16% of Americans side with Hamas and 24% agreed that “the Hamas killing of 1200 Israeli civilians in Israel can be justified by the grievances of Palestinians.”

This was an opinion held by 31% of Democrats and 36% of self-described liberals. People with college degrees (29%) were more likely to support Hamas atrocities than people with only some college (21%). Urbanites (40%) were far more likely to believe that the murder of Israeli women and children was justified than suburban (17%) or rural (13%) residents. Those making $75,000 or more were more often Hamas supporters (33%) than those making less (19%) and blacks (33%), Hispanics (28%) justified the murder of Jews more than white people did (21%).

The poll didn’t assemble the percentage of Hamas support from urban (40%) liberals (36%) with college (29%) degrees, but it’s a good bet that it’s between a third and a half of them.

That also is a good description of a sizable percentage of American Jews.

A third of American Jews do not support Hamas, but when they are immersed in an environment that does, especially on college campuses, is it any surprise that some do?

When 21% of liberals admit that they side with Hamas, some Jewish leftists will do it too.

Move to a neighborhood full of Nazis, enroll your kids in schools where there are daily chants of “Heil Hitler” during lunchtime and students are taught of the greatness of the Third Reich, and the odds of your kids coming home goose stepping vastly increases. Even if they’re Jewish.

Jews in America have become part of a cultural community that has supported leftist terrorism for at least half a century. Some never abandoned their admiration for Communism, others saw the Marxist terrorists of the counterculture as noble idealists, and some now celebrate Hamas.

American Jews are much less likely to support their own killing, kidnapping and torture than the average liberal (36%), but as many as 1 in 10 may be willing to accept Jewish genocide as the price of social justice. In the early days of the Soviet Union, the Yevsektsia or Jewish Section, made up of people who were born Jewish, was the most ruthless in wiping out Judaism and Zionism. Today, IfNotNow, J Street and Jews for Racial & Economic Justice take up the banner.

The Hamas atrocities and the reaction to it are a reality check. Some Jewish liberals recoil in horror at the implications of the ideology of social justice, others double down and embrace it. They claim that they want peace, but the Cygnal poll shows what they really want is dead Jews.

SHOSHANA BRYEN: Don’t Lecture Israel About ‘Proportionality’ thumbnail

SHOSHANA BRYEN: Don’t Lecture Israel About ‘Proportionality’

By The Daily Caller

As the Israeli incursion into Gaza continues, increased attention has been focused on the notion of “proportionality” in both the number of casualties on each side and the sophistication of weapons each side brings to bear. Mostly, pundits mean that Israel is killing too many Palestinians. An understanding of proportionality in the laws of war, however, has been missing.

Even friends of Israel get it wrong – one irate speaker on British television said, “Do you want proportionality? Should Israel seek out young women in Gaza, rape, torture, and kill them? Should Israel find babies and murder them in front of their parents – or murder parents in front of their children? Should Israel indiscriminately shell Palestinian villages?”

An Israeli journalist, in a prior response to Hamas missiles, went so far as to call Israel’s Iron Dome missile defense system “unsportsmanlike.” He wondered what FIFA would say “if Germany, with its superior economy and industry, were to replace Manuel Neuer with a bionic goalkeeper… capable of calculating where each Argentine ball will come from, the exact position to stand in, and amount of force needed to block it… On the modern battlefield (Israel) is a bionic Germany.”

How unsportsmanlike!

Then there is the “yes, but…” response. “Yes” Hamas started it; “Yes,” Hamas tortured and massacred Israeli civilians; “Yes” Hamas puts military infrastructure in civilian neighborhoods; “Yes” Israel is entitled to self-defense; “Yes” the Israelis warn Palestinians. “But” so many more Palestinians have been killed than Israelis.

Isn’t that the definition of “disproportionate?” No. It isn’t.

Proportionality in international law is not about equality of death or civilian suffering, or even about firepower returned being equal in sophistication or lethality to firepower received. Proportionality weighs the military necessity of an action against the suffering that the action might cause to enemy civilians in the vicinity. A review of expert opinion – none of which was written in relation to Israel – helps to clarify. And each should be read in relation to Hamas crimes against Israeli civilians.

Prof. Horst Fischer, Academic Director of the Institute for International Law of Peace and Armed Conflict at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum in Germany, and Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, wrote in The Crimes of War Project:

The principle of proportionality is embedded in almost every national legal system and underlies the international legal order… When a party commits a lawful attack against a military objective, the principle of proportionality also comes into play whenever there is collateral damage, that is, civilian casualties or damage to a non-military objective… attacks are prohibited if they cause incidental loss of civilian life, injury to civilians, or damage to civilian objects that is excessive in relation to the anticipated concrete and direct military advantage of the attack. This creates a permanent obligation for military commanders to consider the results of the attack compared to the advantage anticipated.

Exactly as Israel does when it drops leaflets warning civilians of an impending attack and aborts missions after finding civilians used as human shields on rooftops.

The Council on Foreign Relations notes:

A state is legally allowed to unilaterally defend itself and right a wrong provided the response is proportional to the injury suffered. The response must also be immediate and necessary, refrain from targeting civilians, and require only enough force to reinstate the status quo ante.

Status quo ante October 7 is impossible for Israel.

Luis Moreno-Ocampo, Chief Prosecutor at the International Criminal Court, investigated allegations of war crimes during 2003 invasion of Iraq, and in 2006 published an open letter containing his findings. Included was this section on proportionality:

Under international humanitarian law and the Rome Statute, the death of civilians during an armed conflict, no matter how grave and regrettable, does not in itself constitute a war crime. International humanitarian law and the Rome Statute permit belligerents to carry out proportionate attacks against military objectives, even when it is known that some civilian deaths or injuries will occur.

A crime occurs if there is an intentional attack directed against civilians (principle of distinction) or an attack is launched on a military objective in the knowledge that the incidental civilian injuries would be clearly excessive in relation to the anticipated military advantage (principle of proportionality).

Finally, Dr. Françoise Hampton, University of Essex (UK) wrote about the concept of “military necessity.”

Military necessity is a legal concept used in international humanitarian law (IHL) as part of the legal justification for attacks on legitimate military targets that may have adverse, even terrible, consequences for civilians and civilian objects. It means that military forces in planning military actions are permitted to take into account the practical requirements of a military situation at any given moment and the imperatives of winning.

As some military objectives are destroyed, the enemy will use other installations for the same purpose, thereby making them military objectives and their attack justifiable under military necessity. There is a similarly variable effect on the determination of proportionality. The greater the military advantage anticipated, the larger the amount of collateral damage – often civilian casualties – which will be “justified” or “necessary.

All civilian casualties are to be mourned, but what becomes clear – absent a shaky notion of sportsmanship – is that Israel has the right, and indeed the obligation, to defend its people, has the right to “win” the war of self-defense that it is fighting, and has taken account of the requirements of international law regarding “proportionality” and “military necessity.”

The same cannot be said for Hamas.

Biden is Sanctioning Hamas While Funding Hamas thumbnail

Biden is Sanctioning Hamas While Funding Hamas

By Jihad Watch

Is USAID still operating under a terrorism funding exemption license?

The Biden administration has rolled out some new sanctions on Hamas and other terrorist groups.

“Today’s action underscores the United States’ commitment to dismantling Hamas’s funding networks by deploying our counterterrorism sanctions authorities and working with our global partners to deny Hamas the ability to exploit the international financial system,” Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo said in a statement.

“We will not hesitate to take action to further degrade Hamas’s ability to commit horrific terrorist attacks by relentlessly targeting its financial activities and streams of funding,” he added.

Among the individuals targeted includes Khaled Qaddoumi, described as Hamas’s liaison to the Iranian government, as well as a number of Iranian military members who trained Hamas militants.

Also sanctioned was the Al-Ansar Charity Association, which the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control said funds the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a Hamas-affiliated militant group.

The Biden administration and Democrats have been reluctant to sanction the IRGC, these sanctions target some IRGC figures. And while this is good, Biden announced $100 million in aid to Gaza going through USAID. which, according to a statement by Samantha Power, will work with “our trusted UN, International Committee of the Red Cross, and Red Crescent partners are ready to distribute to those in need.”

The Red Crescent locally has a history of terror ties. There’s nothing trusted about it. Or the UN.

Rep. James and the House Oversight Committee are asking some tough questions.

In a letter to USAID administrator Samantha Power, Republicans on the oversight panel led by chair James Comer (R-Ky.) requested that by Nov. 7 the agency provide materials showing how it has assessed the risks that aid could be diverted.

“It is vital to fully account for U.S. funds intended for humanitarian purposes to ensure they do not directly or indirectly fund terrorism,” the GOP lawmakers wrote in the letter, which was first obtained by Axios.

Among the documents requested are any reports since 2020 detailing aid that was or could be diverted by terrorist groups and the assessments of a USAID body that oversees risk management.

That is crucial because, documents have revealed that the State Department knew already that it’s high risk.

In 2021, State Department officials warned that “there is a high risk Hamas could potentially derive indirect, unintentional benefit from U.S. assistance to Gaza” and asked for a special exemption from sanctions on funding terrorists.

In 2022, Biden met with Palestinian Authority terror leader Mahmoud Abbas and boasted that, “I reversed the policies of my predecessor and resumed aid to the Palestinians — more than a half a billion dollars in 2021.”

Samantha Power and USAID aren’t denying that Hamas can benefit, only offering a toothless warning.

We have been clear that any interference by Hamas will jeopardize the continuation of that life-saving assistance,” a USAID spokesperson told Axios.

Note the language carefully. Not ‘cut off’, “jeopardize”. What does jeopardize mean? Absolutely nothing. Biden has made it clear that Gaza aid is a priority. It’s not going to be cut off. Samantha Power offers no meaningful and clear consequences for cutting off the aid. And you can’t sanction Hamas and fund Hamas at the same time.

The real tell will be the information that Rep. Comer is searching for and the question of whether USAID to Gaza is still operating under a special terrorist funding exemption license.

If it is, that’s an admission that we’re still funding Hamas.

Vaccine Awareness Week 2023

STORY AT-A-GLANCE

  • It’s been 15 years since I first made the commitment to support the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC), which has fought for medical freedom for 41 years. During the COVID epidemic we came to see just how crucial this work really is. Freedom of choice and bodily autonomy when it comes to decision-making regarding vaccines can truly be a matter of life and death
  • In a special report shared with the U.S. House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, NVIC cofounder and president Barbara Loe Fisher explains how mandatory vaccination has been used as a tool to accumulate power and money
  • In 2023, NVIC tracked more than 1,000 legislative bills and posted more than 700 of them to the NVIC advocacy portal
  • No U.S. state was able to pass a COVID vaccine mandate, thanks to public pushback against such legislation. All minor consent bills that would have allowed doctors to persuade children to get vaccinated without their parents’ knowledge or consent were also successfully blocked
  • During our 14th Vaccine Awareness Week, I will match all donations made to the NVIC, so it’s a great time to contribute, as each dollar you give will be doubled

This week, we celebrate our 14th anniversary of Vaccine Awareness Week. In this video, Barbara Loe Fisher, cofounder and president of the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) — which celebrated its 41st anniversary as an organization in April 2023 — shares research on the censorship of vaccine information that she’s compiled for the U.S. House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.

As usual, I will match all donations made to the NVIC during this week, so it’s a great time to contribute, as each dollar you give will be doubled.

It’s been 15 years since I first made the commitment to support this extraordinary organization that fights for medical freedom like no other, and during the COVID pandemic we came to see just how crucial this work really is. Consumer freedom of choice and bodily autonomy when it comes to decision-making regarding vaccines can truly be a matter of life and death.

The Why Behind 15 Years of Persecution

While the NVIC has worked against headwind since the beginning, the public attacks, persecution, demonization, discrimination and censorship really took on new dimensions during the COVID pandemic.

“I decided that I wanted to know exactly by whom, and why NVIC and my voice have been silenced online,” she says. “We knew, particularly in 2015, with the Disneyland measles outbreak, that the heat was on. Clearly, the goal by the pharmaceutical lobbyists that had joined with government was to have everyone take every federally recommended vaccine.

And they knew that our opposition — the work we … had been doing since 2010, to educate legislators about the fact that they need to have informed consent protections of vaccine laws — was a big obstacle. In my research, I realized that it was around 2009, when you lent your support to NVIC, that the persecution actually began.

Honestly, that’s what I realize now. In this report, I’ve gone in chronological order and I bring the reader along so they can see how, every step of the way, this was done.

Last night I said, ‘This reads like a crime novel.’ It’s unbelievable what has been done because a group of parents in 1982, whose children had been injured by DPT vaccine, decided to take on the pharmaceutical industry and big public health.

The 1986 National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act was a major piece of legislation that basically said vaccine safety should be a national priority; that vaccines do injure and kill, and that was the first time that had been acknowledged.

From that point on, the pharmaceutical industry knew that they had to do something to stop this. But it took them a long time. What I’ve done is, I’ve gone into the documents. What’s amazing to me is it’s all online. All you have to do is put it together.

This report is anchored by over 300 references, live linked. So as a reader, you are able to go in and read the documents yourself, and decide for yourself if what I have found here is one of the most incredible stories in the history of medicine.”

COVID Unmasked the Police State

Fisher goes on to review some of the most recent documents, such as a 2019 Department of Homeland Security (DHS) report on “Combating Targeted Disinformation Campaigns, a Whole of Society Issue.”1 Part 2 of that DHS report came out in August 2021.2

Mind you, the first part of this report came out before COVID-19 was declared a pandemic, clearly demonstrating that censoring the internet didn’t begin with the notion that people had to be protected from “misinformation” about COVID. They’ve been moving in the direction of controlling information online for a long time. The pandemic was just an excuse that allowed them to stop pretending that information control wasn’t a key goal.

“Who do we have meeting [here]? The FBI, Fannie Mae, the MITRE Corporation, National Oilwell Varco, Booz Hamilton, University of Florida, Levin College of Law, Northern California Regional Intelligence Center.

This is a meeting that is basically trying to say that the internet needs to be policed, that social media platforms need to be sure that information that is not officially blessed, if you will, is not on the internet.”

Then came a 2020 report by the Sabin-Aspen Vaccine Science & Policy Group, “Meeting the Challenge of Vaccination Hesitancy.”3 This report was funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which is massively invested in vaccines and vaccine development.

A Hate Group Doing What Hate Groups Do

In the summer of 2020, the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) also published “The Anti-Vaxx Industry,”4 after which the demonization of those questioning the COVID jabs really took off.

That report was followed by “The Anti-Vaxx Playbook: Exposing Anti-Vaxxers’ Deadly Plan to Disrupt COVID Vaccines, and How We Can Stop Them,”5 published by the CCDH in December 2020, three months after the NVIC held its fifth international public conference on vaccination.

“That was really the all-out frontal assault on anybody that is branded an anti-vaxxer,” Fisher says. “And in that report, again, NVIC, myself, you [Dr. Mercola] and others who spoke at the NVIC conference are targeted and demonized in vicious language.

Imran Ahmed, who founded the Center for Countering Digital Hate, is a political operative out of England who now has come to the United States in the Washington, D.C., area to do his work, trying to discredit, demonize and stop anybody who does not conform with what the World Health Organization and U.S. government decides is the correct vaccine information.”

In a December 22, 2020, Twitter post,6 the CCDH stated that “Anti-vaxxers have been meeting secretly to plan how to stop the COVID vaccine. We were there. Today we’re exposing their playbook.” The report also claims to quote “leaked audio” from the conference.

The reality of the situation was that there was no audio to be “leaked” because it was a PUBLIC conference, open to absolutely anyone and everyone. It was about as far from a “secret meeting” as you could possibly get. Since the CCDH admitted “being there,” they must have paid the nominal attendance fee, as did thousands of others. So, the entire premise and context of that report was a lie.

CCDH Is the True Misinformation Superspreader

The CCDH also fabricated data to support a false narrative in it’s March 21, 2021, “Disinformation Dozen” report,7,8,9 in which Ahmed falsely claimed 12 people and/or organizations were responsible for 65% of all anti-vaccine content on social media and 73% of vaccine misinformation on Facebook.

In mid-August 2021, after conducting an internal investigation, Monika Bickert, vice president of Facebook content policy, publicly called out the falsehoods in “The Disinformation Dozen” report, stating:10

“There isn’t any evidence to support this claim … In fact, these 12 people are responsible for about just 0.05% of all views of vaccine-related content on Facebook. This includes all vaccine-related posts they’ve shared, whether true or false, as well as URLs associated with these people.”

Bickert highlighted the fact that Ahmed had preselected the 12 individuals listed in the report, and that his “faulty narrative” was based on nothing more than “a narrow set of 483 pieces of content over six weeks from only 30 groups, some of which are as small as 2,500 users.”

Despite that, a long list of officials continued to cite the CCDH’s fabricated claims. What’s more, even though Facebook admitted the CCDH’s claims were bogus, they still took action against accounts by applying penalties and/or bans.

The Rise of the Censorship Industrial Complex

In February 2021, the WHO issued the “WHO Public Health Research Agenda for Managing Infodemics.”11

“How they define ‘infodemic’ is basically ‘too much information.’ We have too much information. They’ve got to be the arbiters of what is truth; they’ve got to be the ones to tell everybody what to think,” Fisher says.

The following month, the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security at the Bloomberg School of Public Health published “National Priorities to Combat Misinformation and Disinformation for COVID-19 and Future Public Health Threats: A Call for National Strategy,”12 and in June, the National Security Council issued “National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism.”13

The next month, July 2021, the U.S. surgeon general issued an advisory, “Confronting Health Misinformation,”14 which, like so many others, referenced the CCDH’s fabricated “Disinformation Dozen” report that targeted me, the NVIC and the Organic Consumers Association (OCA) — two of my Health Liberty partners — for destruction.

“Next you have ‘Memes, Magnets, and Microchips: Narrative Dynamics Around COVID-19 Vaccines,’15 by the Virality Project, put out by the Stanford International Observatory, the NYU Center for Social Media Politics, the University of Washington Center for an Informed Public and Graphika. It goes on and on …

And what is so unbelievable is that what it shows is that the federal government, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of State, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Defense and more, joined with businesses and institutions in society, particularly universities, to create what is known now, or is described by some, as ‘the censorship industrial complex,’ or ‘the disinformation industrial complex.’

It is an unbelievable story about how ordinary citizens in this country, particularly myself and NVIC, who have been working for 41 years with the federal government, with state governments, doing work in a civil and responsible way — the way we’re supposed to do it in this representative constitutional republic when we want to change something — we were targeted for elimination from the digital public square simply for trying to be good citizens.”

Government Has Been Weaponized Against Its People

As mentioned, Fisher’s report will be presented to the U.S. House Judiciary Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, chaired by Rep. Jim Jordan.

“He’s a very courageous man,” Fisher says, “because he is digging down in the testimony that’s being submitted. One of my references is ‘The Weaponization of CISA: How a ‘Cybersecurity’ Agency Colluded With Big Tech and ‘Disinformation’ Partners to Censor Americans’16 [an interim staff report of the subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government].

[CISA] is the cybersecurity agency within the Department of Health and Human Services. The testimony that’s already been submitted to that committee is phenomenal, and that testimony is in these more than 300 references that I have in the report.

I’m very glad I did it, but it was a sobering experience. I’m still trying to deal with what I learned, and I feel like everyone needs to understand that this is a moment in history when we have a choice to make. We are either going to stand up … and fight for our right to freedom of thought, speech and conscience, or we will live as slaves for the rest of this century.

It reads like a crime novel, and I feel like I’ve lived through it. And, look … we’re still standing. We’re still here, we’re still able, at least right now … to communicate online with our followers, through your newsletter, through the NVIC websites.

How long that’s going to last, I don’t know … because our websites have dropped by half in terms of visitors. We’re off of Facebook, we’re off of Instagram, we’re off of YouTube. All my commentaries for more than a decade, completely gone. When Elon Musk purchased Twitter … NVIC was restored to that platform, but other than that major platform, we’re blocked [everywhere].

And on December 21, 2021, 18 members of the U.S. House of Representatives from one political party wrote a letter to PayPal and told them to take me and NVIC off that platform, so that nobody could donate to NVIC through PayPal. I mean, this is an all-out assault, trying to obliterate a small nonprofit charity.

We’re a small charity, but we were able to strike a chord within many Americans and many legislators who understood the importance of protecting informed consent rights when it comes to taking a medical risk, in this case, a vaccine risk.”

A Great Awakening Is Underway

Following Fisher’s report, Dawn Richardson’s report on the NVIC’s legislative efforts in 2023 will be released. The good news there is that NVIC has tracked more than 1,000 legislative bills and posted more than 700 of them on the NVIC advocacy portal, and not a single state ended up passing a COVID vaccine mandate.

Also, no state passed a minor consent bill that would allow doctors to persuade children without their parents’ knowledge or consent to get vaccinated.

“There has been an awakening in the state legislatures,” Fisher says. “So, there are two times as many positive vaccine bills, which we supported, than negative vaccine bills. It’s an incredible story … It’s a miracle, with everything they’ve thrown against us …

So, I urge everybody to please tune in on November 1, when we release this report. Read it, share it with your friends and family, and please, we’ve been ghosted and we do need donations. We need your support to continue to do this work that we’ve been doing for 41 years.”

Who Benefits From the ‘Greater Good’ Narrative?

At the end of the day, the censorship of negative vaccine information comes down to protecting profits — pharmaceutical profits — even though lives will be lost in the process. In this sense, the vaccine agenda is very similar to the war industry, which sacrifices the lives of young men and women to protect private central bank interests. Fisher notes:

“For many years, I said it’s about ideology, and my dear husband would say, ‘No, Barbara, it’s about business, it’s about the money.’ Well, you know what? It is about money.

At the end of the day, this is about a pharmaceutical industry and their partners, including academia, including a lot of other institutions in society, who have decided that there will be no opposition to the mass use of vaccines — every vaccine that the pharmaceutical industry creates.

But vaccination has been used as a political tool, no question. And that’s where ideology comes in, this idea that you do not have the right to protect your bodily integrity, or that of your minor child; that you must take the risk for the good of society. That’s the utilitarian rationale, ‘for the greater good.’

A minority of people can be sacrificed in service to the rest … Well, that’s a very convenient ideology to adopt when you want power, and when you want to profit from the exploitation of people.

And that’s, to me, what it all comes down to: power and profit, and the people are the victims of this hierarchy that has been established globally, this infrastructure that those who have the wealth of the world are operating in …

I have been very focused on that pseudo-ethic and defending informed consent. But when I did this report, I went, ‘Wait a minute, this is about the money. Pure and simple, it’s business.’ And that’s disturbing.

I’m disturbed by the fact that so many institutions in society, particularly academic institutions, have been co-opted by the money. It is very dangerous. And really, we’ve got a melding of government with big business, which is fascism. It’s frightening, really, and needs to stop.

Government money should not be used to try to demonize people and drive them out of the public square. The whole issue of freedom of thought, speech and conscience is such a fundamental freedom issue, and I really hope that the report I’ve written will help open some people’s eyes to how the issue of vaccination has been used to try to discriminate against and silence people in the public square …

The other thing that just blows my mind is, they have all these behavioral psychologists trying to figure out how to change everybody. All of these papers published in the academic journals are about ‘How can we figure out ways to change the values and beliefs of people who are resisting vaccination?’

Is that the role of government, really? Is the role of government to come in and try to screw around with your mind and your personal beliefs so that you’ll do what they want you to do? That’s truly Orwellian.”

Of course, the reason government is trying to brainwash people into using certain products is because their interests are the same as the corporations’ interests, which, again, is the very definition of fascism.

Push for Vaccine Mandates Has Backfired Big-Time

A silver lining to the devastating fiasco of the mRNA COVID shots is that Americans have finally realized that not only do they not work, but they’re also incredibly dangerous. As of October 12, 2023, only 7 million Americans had rolled up their sleeves to receive the latest reformulated mRNA shot.

Assuming the U.S. population is 340.47 million people,17 7 million is only about 2.06%, and an October 2023 study18 tells us the reason for this drop-off — 54.9% of previously jabbed people are skipping further boosters due to fears about their safety.

Another 39.5% are skipping it because they’ve already had COVID, 28.6% doubt the booster will provide additional protection over the shots already received, and 23.1% don’t believe it’ll protect them from infection.

But people are not only waking up to the potential risks of mRNA shots. They’re also starting to question the safety and effectiveness of conventional vaccines as well, which is the exact opposite of what all this censorship was intended to achieve.

“The polls are showing a lessening of confidence in vaccination because of what they did with the COVID vaccine,” Fisher says. “So, a lot of people are just going to skip that flu shot this year.

There’s an uneasiness about vaccination right now, and I think it’s their own fault. It’s the fault of the federal agencies and the pharmaceutical companies that tried to oversell this product, tried to make everybody afraid that they were going to die if they didn’t get it.

There was like an 80% uptake in this country of one COVID shot. That’s a huge, huge uptake. However, now, on the fifth booster people are just saying, ‘I don’t think so.’ So, Pfizer announced this week that they’re having to cut $3 billion in expenses and in staff, et cetera, because they are not able to meet the projections for their stockholders of the uptake of the COVID booster.”

Consumer Advocacy Is Essential

In closing, it’s important to realize just how impactful the NVIC has been over the past 41 years, and why it’s so essential to support its continued work.

“If NVIC had not formed in 1982, if we had not gone into the states in 2010 and educated legislators on this issue and worked with families in the states, this country would’ve had a COVID vaccine mandate for children. I don’t have any question in my mind about that,” Fisher says.

“The combination of education and advocacy has absolutely changed the landscape of the mandatory vaccination infrastructure in this country. And it was done because parents of vaccine injured children decided that their children were not an acceptable sacrifice.

This is an important point, because all of the groups that have formed since 1982, particularly in the last 10 years, are riding on the back of the ground that we plowed. And I couldn’t be happier or more satisfied about that because our influence has allowed other groups to form and be bigger megaphones to warn people that this is a problem.

The mandatory vaccination system is not humane, it’s not something that should be allowed. You cannot throw people under the bus. You have to care and value every life. And despite all of this persecution and all of this ghosting and removal from online platforms, we are still standing. I feel very much that you, and all the people who have donated to us over the years, played a huge role in helping us survive.”

Help Us Protect Medical Freedom

Funds are tight for many right now; we understand that. But if you can make a donation, even if it’s only a dollar or two, please do. Every dollar counts, and I will match whatever you give. This is crucial work, and we cannot do it alone.

If you donated in the past, know that your generosity is ultimately what helped prevent COVID shot mandates in this country, and that is no small feat. It truly speaks to the power of consumer advocacy and education.

“It’s a truly grassroots movement, and it’s of ordinary people who are doing extraordinary things because they believe that in this country, we should have freedom of thought, speech, and conscience, and we should have the right to speak in the public square civilly, constructively.

That’s what America’s always been about. I believe this is a shameful, shameful era in U.S. history and I pray that it is consigned to the dustbin of history sooner than later. Like I say, we’re at a cross-roads in this country. These culture wars are tearing us apart. But hopefully, we can all agree on the Bill of Rights …

At the same time, you can’t do something about something you don’t understand, and that’s why I did this report. I wanted to understand, what exactly had happened and why. It’s clear to me now, and I hope it’ll be clear to other people, how the issue of mandatory vaccination was used as a tool to accumulate power and money.”

So, again, if you can, please make a donation to NVIC today, and be sure to sign up with the NVIC advocacy portal, so that you can stay abreast of legislative efforts involving medical freedom issues in your home state.

GAZA: Mis-Conceptualizing the Conflict, Miscomprehending the Enemy thumbnail

GAZA: Mis-Conceptualizing the Conflict, Miscomprehending the Enemy

By Martin Sherman

One of the reasons that the conflict with the Palestinian-Arabs in general and Gazan Arabs in particular, has dragged on for years, is that Israel has failed to conceptualize the conflict correctly.

There is a prevailing myth that the general population in Gaza is the hapless victim of its radical leadership. This is demonstrably false.

Crucible, not victim

Indeed, the population in Gaza is not the victim of its Islamist leaders! On the contrary, it is the crucible in which that leadership was forged and from which it emerged.

Nothing can underscore the gruesome truth of that assertion more indelibly than this excerpt from a chilling telephone conversation between an elated Gazan terrorist and his enthralled parents—rejoicing over the slaughter of Israeli civilians.

TERRORIST: Hello Dad. Dad Open your WhatsApp right now and see…how many I killed with my own hands. Your son killed Jews.

FATHER: God is great God is great. May God protect you.

TERRORIS: [F]ather. I am talking to you from the phone of a Jew, I killed her and her husband, I killed ten with my own hands.

FATHER: God is great.

TERRORIST:       I killed ten. Ten! Ten with my own bare hands. Their blood is on my hands, let me talk to Mom.

MOTHER: Oh, my son, may God protect you.

TERRORIST: I killed ten all by myself, mother.

MOTHER: I wish I was there with you.

This is the nature of the enemy. This is the human condition—or rather the inhuman condition with which Israel is compelled to contend.

Nothing as practical as good theory

This failure of Israeli society to grasp the true dimensions—the depth, and durability—of Arab rejection of Jewish sovereignty has long been reflected in both its domestic policy and in its foreign policy towards the nation’s Arab adversaries. Nowhere is this failing more glaring than in Israeli policy toward the Palestinian-Arabs in general, and toward the Arabs of Gaza in particular.

At this point, we would do well to recall the wise dictum of eminent social psychologist, Kurt Leven, who observed: “There is nothing so practical as a good theory.” After all, action, without comprehension is a little like swinging a hammer without knowing where the nails are, just as hazardous—and just as harmful. In this regard, good theory creates an understanding of cause and effect and hence facilitates effective policy.

Accordingly, to devise effective policy to contend with abiding Arab enmity, Israel must correctly conceptualize the conflict over the issue of Jewish sovereignty in the Holy Land.

Archetypical zero-sum game

The unvarnished truth is that—correctly conceptualized—the conflict between the Jews and the Palestinian-Arabs over the control of the Holy Land is a clash between two rival collectives, with irreconcilable foundational narratives.

They are irreconcilable because the raison d’etre of the one is the preservation of Jewish political sovereignty in the Holy Land, while the raison d’etre of the other is the annulment of Jewish political sovereignty in the Holy Land—thus generating irreconcilable visions of homeland.

As such, the conflict between the Jews and the Palestinian-Arabs is an archetypical zero-sum game, in which the side’s gains inevitably imply the other side’s loss.

As such it is a clash involving protagonists with antithetical and mutually exclusive core objectives. Only one can emerge victorious; the other vanquished. There are no consolation prizes!

Consequently, as a clash of collectives, whose outcome will be determined by collective victory or defeat, it cannot be personalized. The fate of individual members of one collective cannot be a deciding determinant of the policy of the rival collective—and certainly, not a consideration that impacts the probability of collective victory or defeat.

Grudgingly accepted or greatly feared?

Thus, Israel’s survival imperative must dictate that it forgo any expectation of eventual approval from the Arabs. For the foreseeable future, this seductive illusion will remain an unattainable pipe dream. Rather, Israel must reconcile itself to the stern, but sober, conclusion: The most it can realistically hope for is to be grudgingly accepted; the least it must attain is to be greatly feared.

Any more benign policy goals are a recipe for disaster.

To underscore the crucial importance of this seemingly harsh assessment, I would invite any prospective dissenter to consider the consequences of Jewish defeat and Arab victory. Indeed, a cursory survey of the gory regional realities should suffice to drive home the significance of what would accompany such an outcome.

Accordingly, only once a decisive Jewish collective victory has been achieved, can the issue of individual injustice and suffering in the Arab collective be addressed as a policy consideration. Until then, neither the individual well-being nor the societal welfare of the opposing collective can be considered a primary policy constraint.

After all, had the imperative of collective victory not been the overriding factor of the Allies’ strategy in WWII, despite the horrendous civilian causalities that it inflicted on the opposing collective, the world might well have been living in slavery today.

In weighing the question of the fate of individual members of the opposing collective, it is imperative to reiterate the point made at the start of this column: the Palestinian-Arab collective is not the hapless victim of radical terror-affiliated leaders. Quite the opposite. It is, in fact, the societal crucible in which they were forged, and from which they emerged. Indeed, its leadership is a reflection of, not an imposition on, Palestinian-Arab society.

Accordingly, the Palestinian-Arab collective must be considered an implacable enemy—not a prospective peace partner…and it must be treated as such.

‘It’s a New Day’: Mike Johnson Brings Principles and Purpose to Speakership

By Family Research Council

While D.C. politicos scramble to figure out who House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) is, here at Family Research Council, we needed no introduction. To most of us, the young-looking Louisiana lawyer represents the best the movement has to offer. “He’s a social conservative’s conservative,” Politico pointed out in a lengthy piece about his relationship with FRC. But more than that, he’s a man who deeply loves God and this country. So as senators like Susan Collins (R-Maine) turn to Google to find out who the new speaker is, we can tell you simply: he’s the real deal.

My boss, FRC President Tony Perkins, met Mike more than two decades ago when the future speaker was just an up-and-coming law student at LSU. During Tony’s days in the Louisiana legislature, the two crossed paths a lot, eventually working together on a blockbuster bill that became one of the first abortion clinic regulation laws in the country.

“You mentioned how far back we go,” Johnson said in an interview on “Washington Watch” a couple years ago. “I saw you as a young state legislator, and I remember that your banner and your motto when you ran for office was ‘raising the standard.’ And that resonated with me, because I felt that same call on my life. And in so many ways, Tony, you were a huge influence on my life. I saw that you could do it. … [Other] people that I knew [also] did it right and did it well, and they followed the Lord first. And it showed in all their work and their life and their family. And that was a great encouragement to me.”

As Johnson alluded to in his speech before the House chamber Wednesday, the road to Congress was paved by his God-fearing parents. “I was blessed,” he emphasized to Tony. “I was raised in a Christian household, and my parents — I was actually the conception of a teenage pregnancy my parents’ junior year in high school. And they dropped out, decided to have me, and keep me. And that’s why I’m so pro-life today. I’m a living example of faithfulness. … They just trusted God.”

And made sacrifices. “My dad went to work early. They didn’t finish high school. Then he went back later, got his GED, but I don’t have any memory of not being a Christian,” Mike said. “I got saved when I was seven years old. I got baptized in a horse trough out behind our old country church in northwest Louisiana. And I was just raised to know and understand and believe that faith is very real. And it was just part of the fabric of our family, and who we are.”

But the fabric of that family was tested when Mike was just 12. His dad, an assistant chief for the Shreveport, Louisiana fire department, was a training officer. “And on September 17th, 1984,” he remembers, “he went into work on a hazardous materials leak in a cold storage plant. And the building blew up. He was burned 80% of his body, third-degree burns — and given a 5% chance to live. His co-captain died in the fire, so it was a terrible tragedy. [But] God miraculously saved my dad’s life.”

“He had a long journey back,” Mike said. “He lived another 30 years. And he was in pain every day — but he survived. … I was the oldest of four kids in my family,” he pointed out. “[And I learned that] our faith was real. … God saved my dad’s life … and I just knew that prayer worked. So that’s never left me. It’s been with me my whole life.”

When Tony asked Mike what surprised him most about his time in Congress, he replied that his answer was “kind of a sad one.” “I was surprised to see that many members of Congress are elected to serve, and they don’t truly have a fully formed philosophy of government. Some of them are not even crystal clear on what their worldview is, you know? And so it has an effect on their work and the decisions they make. … If you don’t have a fully formed philosophy of government, if you don’t have your principles set in stone … before you get there, then you’re going to be easy prey for all the influences that are out there.”

That’s why, he says, he’s been trying to encourage his colleagues to think about what it means to be a Christian in public service. “The only seedbed of virtue,” Johnson insisted, “is in religious faith. I mean, men have to understand that they owe an allegiance to a higher power, and they have a judge that is above all others. And that is what has guided our country since its founding. And that’s what’s going to continue to guide it. So we shouldn’t make apology for it. We should go out and live that boldly and encourage others to do the same.”

He owes that strength of conviction to a number of people who encouraged him along the way. “I had a mentor when I was really young, [and he] told me one time — he said, ‘Mike, you know what? Always remember this: What is popular isn’t always right, and what is right isn’t always popular.’ And we have to remember that even in politics, you know, highest levels of elected office in the country, that’s a pretty simple axiom that everybody needs to follow.”

Now, Johnson is passing that advice along to his four children — and all of the young leaders he meets. At the time, his son, Jack, was just starting high school, and he wanted to make sure that his son was firmly rooted in truth. “I said, ‘Listen, I want you to be real intentional about this. You know, the calling of a Christian young man or young woman is that you are not called to be a thermometer. You’re called to be a thermostat. What does that mean, Jack? You know, what does a thermometer do? Well, a thermometer goes into a new environment, takes a temperature, and adjusts to it. That’s not what we do. The Christian young man or woman is called to be an atmosphere changer, to be a thermostat. So you walk in, and you hold that standard, raise the standard.’”

At the end of the day, Mike said, “You live according to that truth that you know, and it will change the atmosphere you’re in. And people will look to you. … [They’re] dying for truth and authenticity. They want to know that there really is an absolute … that there’s a standard.” He pointed to Chronicles 6:9. “The eyes of the Lord range throughout the whole earth, seeking those whose hearts are holy, committed. There’s only a few in every generation, but if you’ll do that, God will give you His blessing. He’ll give you His platform. His promotion principles will set in place, and He’ll give you things that will amaze everyone.”

They were prophetic words for a man whose heart is holy, whose God has just given him that enormous platform he spoke of. And yet, back in January, Mike would have been the last to guess that when he and a handful of Republicans knelt in the House chamber to pray for the speakership, they would ultimately be paving the road to him.

As Tony said in a Newsmax interview Wednesday, America can be proud to have a man of substance at the helm. “That’s why he’s the first speaker, I think since 2011, to have unanimous support from his colleagues on the Republican side. … I’ve known Mike for 25 years, and he is going to be an excellent speaker for the times in which we live.”

Looking back on the arc of their long friendship, he said with pride, “He has a sense of purpose, and that comes from his faith. … And this is what’s important, because in politics this has gotten lost. It’s really about people. And he cares about people,” Tony insisted. “… He told me this morning, I was talking to him as he was working on his speech, and he said, ‘It’s a new day. They’re going to see a new thing in this Congress.’”

And those of us who admire him believe it.

Biden’s Leadership Wins Approval . . . From Russia, China, and Iran

By Kenneth R. Timmerman

Iranian regime proxies have launched 14 attacks against U.S. servicemen and installations across the Middle East since Hamas unleashed its murderous slaughter of Israeli civilians on October 7. More than two dozen Americans have been injured, and the U.S. did nothing.

Finally, on Thursday, the U.S. struck back.

What did the world’s most powerful military, backed by the world’s most expensive intelligence-gathering network, do?

We sent two F-16s to drop bombs on a pair of ammo dumps used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps near Abu Kamal, Syria, not far from the U.S. base in al-Tanf that the Iranians have struck repeatedly.

Two F-16s. Two ammo dumps.

The Israelis conduct similar air strikes in Syria four times a week. We wait until we have been attacked fourteen times before we launch just one.

If that weren’t enough, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin announced that “the United States does not seek conflict and has no intention nor desire to engage in further hostilities.”

You can bet the Iranians are very impressed by that statement.

The Chinese and Russians are similarly impressed. The Russians met with leaders from Hamas and Iran this week, no doubt calling the newest ISIS affiliate to “exercise restraint.”

(Sorry, I was being sarcastic. They did no such thing. In fact, the Russians and the Chinese both backed Hamas at the United Nations this week, leaving the U.S. once-again flat-footed).

We also learned this week that Team Biden has “invited” – their words – the Chinese to get more engaged in the Middle East as the U.S. seeks to distance itself from the region.

That’s like asking the arsonist to come back for cocktails after he burned down your house in the morning.

President Biden has been speaking out of all sides of his mouth on the Hamas atrocities. While Israelis, in their grief, saw him as supportive during his brief appearance with Prime Minister Netanyahu recently, we now know that he demanded Israel delay or outright suspend its ground invasion of Gaza.

Just yesterday, Biden met in the White House with three top American Hamas-supporters, including the Minnesota Attorney General, Keith Ellison and the head of the largest Muslim Brotherhood lobbying group in America, the Islamic Society of North America.

He promised them he would push Israel for a ceasefire  and would deliver US aid to Gaza, where it will be immediately commandeered by Hamas

If there is a silver lining to any of this it’s this: Americans overwhelming support Israel, and have been outraged to witness the pro-Hamas demonstrations on our city streets and on the campuses of our most prestigious universities.

Those pro-Hamas protestors are a key constituent of Biden’s Democrat Party, which partially explains why Biden constantly kisses their kerchiefs. Let’s hope Americans remember that in the next election.

I discuss these stories and the world’s slow-march to war in this week’s edition of Prophecy Today Weekend.

Dem Rep. Dean Phillips Challenges Biden For President In 2024

By The Daily Caller

Democratic Rep. Dean Phillips of Minnesota launched a White House bid during a CBS News interview released Thursday evening, challenging President Joe Biden in 2024.

Phillips had been weighing a run for months, citing concerns over Biden’s age and electability, as well as the lack of alternatives in the Democratic field. The congressman announced his presidential campaign during an interview with CBS News’ Robert Costa where he insisted 2024 needs to be “about the future.”

“I am. I have to,” Phillips told Costa when asked if he’s running for president. “I think President Biden has done a spectacular job for our country. But it’s not about the past. This is an election about the future. I will not sit still I will not be quiet in the face of numbers that are so clearly saying that we’re going to be facing an emergency next November.”

Phillips recently reached out to the New Hampshire Democratic Party Chairman Ray Buckley, and approached potential staffers to build his campaign’s operation within the state ahead of his launch.

Phillips was one of the first elected Democrats to warn against Biden running for reelection when he called for a “generational change” in July 2022. The congressman has also expressed concern that Biden’s candidacy could hand the White House back to former President Donald Trump, who has been leading the president for a potential 2024 rematch in a series of recent national and battleground state polls.

The RealClearPolitics average for a 2024 national Democratic primary, based on polls conducted between Oct. 12 and Oct. 23, indicates Biden has 70.3% support, followed by self-help author Marianne Williamson at 9%. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was polling around 14% prior to his campaign’s switch from Democrat to independent on Oct. 9.

Phillips stepped down from his position as co-chair of the House Democratic Policy and Communications Committee on Oct. 1 ahead of his presidential announcement, citing “convictions” he held about the 2024 election.

The congressman was first elected in 2018 when he ousted Republican Rep. Erik Paulsen 56% to 44%, and most recently secured reelection in 2022 by nearly 20 points. Phillips is also a businessman who opened a coffee shop, helped build a gelato company and headed his family’s distillery.

Finally, The New York Times Begrudgingly Admits It Was Wrong About the Gaza Hospital Attack thumbnail

Finally, The New York Times Begrudgingly Admits It Was Wrong About the Gaza Hospital Attack

By Jihad Watch

When there was an explosion at the parking lot at the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza last week, the New York Times was quick — much too quick, rather — heedless, off the mark, claiming that an Israeli airstrike was to blame for the attack “on the hospital,” and that nearly 500 people were killed. How did the Times know? It didn’t. It simply acted as a dutiful amanuensis, transcribing what Hamas dictated to its reporters. It ran with their account of the incident, without waiting for the Israelis to provide their detailed explanation of the blast. Within a matter of hours, Israel responded with its version of events: first, it said that an errant rocket fired by Palestinian Islamic Jihad had caused the explosion; second, the explosion was not in the hospital, which was largely unscathed, but in the parking lot of the hospital; third, that while it could not provide an exact figure, it believed there were far fewer than 500 people killed. But the damage was done. The Times had put out the story as Hamas wanted it, and Israel suffered terribly in the kangaroo court of public opinion.

Now, many days after it became crystal clear, through visual and audio evidence, including a view of the very small depression left by the blast, and after the American government, conducting its own forensic investigation, determined that Israel’s version of the incident was correct, the Grey Lady finally, albeit reluctantly, has had to admit it was wrong. The Times did not, of course, apologize for such an egregious and grievous error, nor take note of the likely violent consequences of disseminating that false claim, which in fact cam quickly to pass, with violent anti-Israel demonstrations all over the Arab and Muslim world. The Times is far too arrogant an institution to do that. More on how the high-and-mighty New York Times was brought low when it had to admit its error in the way it had covered the “hospital blast” story, can be found here: “NYT admits error in Gaza hospital report,” by Matt Berg, Politico, October 23, 2023:

The New York Times walked back its initial coverage on the explosion that killed hundreds of Palestinians at a Gaza Strip hospital last week, saying in an editors’ note that the newspaper “relied too heavily on claims” made by the Hamas militant group.

Just “an editors’ note”? On an inside page? The admission of its error ought by rights to have appeared where the misleading report had appeared — that is, on the front page, and in the same size type as the original.

Soon after a huge blast rocked the al-Ahli Hospital on Tuesday, finger-pointing over its source began.

Hamas, which has been battling Israel since its Oct. 7 surprise attack on Israeli soil, called the blast a “horrific massacre” and blamed the Israeli government. Israel, however, blamed the Islamic Jihad, a smaller, more radical group that often works with Hamas….

“The Times’s initial accounts attributed the claim of Israeli responsibility to Palestinian officials, and noted that the Israeli military said it was investigating the blast,” reads the Times’ editors’ note published on Monday. Early coverage “relied too heavily on claims by Hamas, and did not make clear that those claims could not immediately be verified.”

It took the Times six full days, from when the Israeli and American governments had presented their separate conclusions that Israel was blameless and that an errant rocket, launched from Gaza by Palestinian Islamic Jihad, had caused the “parking lot blast.” Why so long? What is it that makes the Times so reluctant to own up to its errors?

The newspaper’s coverage had a clear impact, according to the note: “The report left readers with an incorrect impression about what was known and how credible the account was.”…

That’s too weak. Make it stronger: “All the evidence supports Israel’s version of the incident.” Israel has explained, and provided the evidence, for what happened. The visuals show the rocket coming from Gaza toward Israel, and then suddenly breaking up, then heading downward and landing on the ground where the light of an explosion can be seen. And we have, too, the recorded telephone conversation of two Hamas operatives, discussing the fact that the rocket was fired by Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Why doesn’t the Times mention any of that in its “Editors’ Note”?

Five days ago, PBS presented Israel’s version of the cause of the blast. Three days ago the AP accepted Israel’s version after Washington had confirmed it. Two days ago, it was CNN that held Israel blameless. But the New York Times waited until six days had passed, long after everyone in the Western world had learned that the American government, having conducted its own investigation, had concluded that Israel was blameless.

Here was what National Security Council spokesperson Adrienne Watson tweeted the day after the blast: “While we continue to collect information, our current assessment, based on analysis of overhead imagery, intercepts and open source information, is that Israel is not responsible for the explosion at the hospital in Gaza yesterday.”

The Times stopped short of an apology for its initial coverage but said editors should have been more careful with the way the blast was represented….

Here’s what one would have wished from the Times: a full-throated, unbegrudging apology for the haste of its initial report, its credulous acceptance of a Hamas libel, and its unwillingness to wait just a few hours for Israel’s response. Surely it knew that putting the blame on Israel was likely to cause, and did cause, outbursts of anti-Israel hate all over the Arab and Muslim lands. Nor does the Times explain why the admission of its mistake came so many days after everyone else had admitted that Israel’s explanation of the blast was correct. Why was that? Perhaps the Times can assign a reporter to provide an “anatomy of an error ” to supplement that “Editor’s Note,” so that readers can find out exactly how, and why, that initial mistaken report came to be.
