Law-Free Zone & Biden’s Border Policies

By The Daily Skirmish – Liberato.US

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas got his comeuppance Friday.  He had issued a memorandum last September limiting the deportation of illegal aliens to certain criminals, national security risks, and recent border crossers.  He explicitly said in the memo being in the country illegally is not a reason for deportation.  In fact, he said if somebody’s been here illegally a long time, or if they’re young, they should be allowed to stay.  Then he went on TV to brag about how he single-handedly “fundamentally changed immigration enforcement” in the country.

On Friday, a federal judge in Texas threw out the memo, ruling Mayorkas had changed immigration law on his own, when only Congress has the power to legislate.  The judge also said Mayorkas broke the law by proclaiming all this on his own without going through the normal rulemaking process that gives affected states and the public due notice and opportunity to comment.  DHS can appeal the court’s decision, but the judge’s ruling is a welcome rebuke to our lawless DHS Secretary who thinks he can do anything he wants on immigration.

In a previous commentary [4/28/22], I listed numerous policy changes Mayorkas and the Biden administration have made to open the border.  There are others I didn’t mention – no longer detaining criminal illegal aliens for deportation when Congress said they must be detained; discontinuing the detention of families with children; ending large-scale worksite arrests; pausing an operation that targeted sex offenders (Operation Talon); and shielding pregnant women and victims of crime from deportation entirely.

In addition the Biden administration is pushing free college for illegal aliens and sending border patrol agents into Mexico to work with asylum lawyers and shelter operators to identify sympathetic cases, like single mothers, to bring into the U.S.  To top it all off, the Biden administration’s streamlined asylum claim procedures went into effect at the border last week.  Critics say immigration courts are cut out of the process and low-level bureaucrats will simply approve most asylum claims.

All of this is being done in the name of racial equity or, as I call it, racial payback.  Mayorkas has called equity (equal outcomes) the “core founding principle” of our country – which it’s not – and he’s willing to break the law to achieve it.  The executive branch is supposed to faithfully execute the laws, not pretend it’s Congress or rewrite statutes willy-nilly anytime it feels like it.

Mayorkas reminds me of the German Leftist who said in a video at the start of Europe’s migration crisis that Germany has existential guilt because of what it did in World Wars I and II and, therefore, Germany must hand its country over to somebody else so they can do something else with it.    That’s just crazy.  You won’t have anywhere to live for very long if you think like that.

What we have in the Biden administration’s open borders policies is the diversity narrative run amok.  White people are guilty of you-name-it, so we must open the borders and let other people get their fair share – equity – no matter who it hurts.  No matter how many women are raped en route, how many Americans die of fentanyl overdoses, or how many terrorists are coming across the border.  And, no matter how many times the Biden administration ignores the will of Congress and rewrites the laws to its own liking.

If equity is your game, what will it take to satisfy you?  How much will be enough?  By what objective standards?  To what ultimate end?  If you have a bottomless pit of racial resentment like Alejandro Mayorkas, and think the hate and the punishment are just supposed to go on forever, without end, there’s a job waiting for you in the Biden administration.  No Capitol Hill experience required.

Authorities Release Paul Pelosi’s Mugshot After DUI Arrest

By The Daily Caller

Authorities released the mugshot of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s husband Monday after he was recently arrested for an alleged DUI.

The mugshot features a sullen-looking Paul Pelosi dressed in a button-down with a brown suit jacket.

Pelosi, 82, was arrested after he allegedly was involved in a two-car crash in Napa Valley while under the influence.  Authorities arrested Pelosi and took him to the Napa County Detention Center for one count of allegedly driving under the influence and one count of allegedly driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 or higher, both misdemeanors in California.

California Highway Patrol (CHP) denied a public records request Thursday for bodycam and dashcam footage of the arrest. The Napa County District Attorney’s office decided not to release the footage at the time of the arrest because they felt it would “jeopardize” the ongoing investigation, according to Fox News.

‘They Know Its Murder’: Ashli Babbitt’s Husband Calls Out Jan 6 Committee For Not Mentioning His Wife’s Death

By The Daily Caller

The husband of Ashli Babbitt, Aaron, called out the Jan. 6 committee Friday for not mentioning his late wife’s name at Thursday’s hearings.

Babbitt, an Air Force veteran, died after a police officer shot her in the left shoulder and neck after she attempted to crawl through a barricaded section of the Capitol outside the Speaker’s lobby. The officer was later identified as Lt. Michael Byrd in an NBC interview with Lester Holt in August, 2021.

Aaron told Fox News host and Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson that Republican Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger, a member of the committee, publicly donated $200 to Byrd. He then said members of the committee refused to answer former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani when he asked if Babbitt would be discussed at the hearings.

“I truly believe in my heart that they know it’s murder,” he said. “They can’t admit to it, so they have to just bypass it and blow by it and just act like it never happened.”

The committee hearings were held Thursday and aired live on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and MSNBC. Members of the committee played surveillance footage, audio and clips of interviews conducted with government and former Trump administration officials.

Carlson asked if Kinzinger or Republican South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham called him to express their condolences over his wife’s death.

“No, I’ve never received a call from anybody from Congress. We do have members of Congress that are openly helping us and championing us, but I have not received any phone calls regarding the death of my wife other than Jan. 6, Darrell Issa called me that night,” Babbitt said.

Carlson pointed to evidence finding that Babbitt did not pose a threat and attempted to prevent others from threatening officers and others inside the Capitol building. Aaron said his wife pleaded with rioters to stop and diffuse the situation.

“It appears to me that way,” Babbitt replied. “Everybody was caught up in the emotion and energy that day, but I know my wife and I could see the change in her demeanor once things started getting hectic at those doors, once she started — what we now know are bad actors — breaking down those doors and breaking down those windows, I specifically hear her and I urge everybody to listen to it. She’s yelling at them to stop. ‘No, don’t. Wait.’ And I could see the agitation on her. The police moved and it turned chaotic and [it’s] very confusing for somebody that was not there causing violence.”

Aaron was not present at the Capitol riot and had previously told local news outlet Fox 5 Washington D.C. that his wife was a supporter of former President Donald Trump. He filed a request under the Freedom of Information Act demanding to obtain footage documents and witness testimonies of the incident and to identify the officer who shot her in June 2021.

America is Racist, Violent Country, Says Diversity Director Telling Congress to Take Away Civil Rights

By Jihad Watch

If this doesn’t sell Republicans on eliminating the Second Amendment, I can’t imagine what will.

Zeneta Everhart, the mother of 21-year-old Zaire Goodman, who was wounded but survived the racially motivated attack on the Tops supermarket on May 14, testified before the House Oversight Committee about how the massacre in Buffalo and recent mass shootings in Uvalde, Tex., and Tulsa reflected what the United States has been in terms of gun violence.

More relevantly, Zeneta is a diversity advisor to a Dem politician.

Everhart, who is black, also testified that racism and violence were tied together — “My ancestors brought to America through the slave trade were the first currency of America” — and told lawmakers that “America is inherently violent.”

“This is who we are as a nation,” testified Everhart, the director of diversity and inclusion for New York state Sen. Timothy M. Kennedy (D). “I continuously hear after every mass shooting that this is not who we are as Americans and as a nation. Hear me clearly: This is exactly who we are.”

By “we”, I presume she means the folks responsible for dozens of mass shootings every weekend in the urban areas of major cities.

And if that doesn’t do it, how about some racist indoctrination?

Everhart argued that part of the change would need to be done in the classroom setting, and called for African American history to be included as part of the curriculum in the U.S. education system.

“We cannot continue to whitewash education and create generations of children to believe that one race of people are better than the other,” she said.

Except that’s actually what critical race theory does and is meant to do it. And it’s even implicit in her testimony.

Everhart’s testimony appeared to irk Republicans on the House Oversight panel when she began to discuss her belief that America was created on the shoulders of hate and white supremacy that continues to target the black community.

Rep. Glenn Grothman (R-Wis.) shifted back in his chair before rolling his eyes. Rep. Andrew S. Clyde (R-Ga.) mouthed, “Oh my God.”

More hearts and minds won. But this isn’t about winning hearts and minds. It’s about virtue signaling and tribal shows of contempt.

Is all this acceptable? thumbnail

Is all this acceptable?

By Save America Foundation

We hear that we are expected to celebrate Pride week and/or Pride Month. Regardless of our personal beliefs either moral or religious. We are called bigots and homophobes if we don’t. Five brave players from our Tampa Bay Rays refused to wear the Pride flag patch on a Pride celebratory game and have been hated on ever since.

As tax payers we are expected to have our taxes used for flags, bunting and celebrations for Pride and to celebrate their so called achievements. If we disagree we are called bigots and homophobes.

As apparently non-equal citizens our opinions on if our kids are to be taught disgusting sexually based education from age 5 up seems to be ignored by public officials paid with our taxes.

Equally our opinions on drag queens and transgendered persons being allowed to read perverted books to our young children in public funded libraries also are ignored. We are called … you guessed it Bigots and homophobes plus the normal racist!

Our beliefs, our own thoughts are totally irrelevant to the left and the ever increasing aggressively militant LGBTQUI movement. We are not tolerated, even though we are in the majority, and as I mentioned expected to celebrate their lifestyle despite our solidly held beliefs.

There is but one opinion that matters increasingly to the left and their friendly pocket pets, the MSM, and that is the leftist agenda. Dare to differ and even worse differ publicly and verbally and you are cancelled. You lose work, your job, your reputation as they spread lies and disinformation about you, cancel your social media and generally make your life hell.

We are expected to attend Gay Pride parades and celebrations, despite the immoral talk, clothing and actions of the many participants. I mean, do we really have to see scantily dressed men in black chaps and other leather wear or even worse, dressed as God knows what? Do we need to see females that are increasingly trying to look, sound and act more masculine than men?

I HAVE NEWS FOR THEM ALL.

I do not celebrate Gay Pride hour, day, week, month or year.

I do not agree with the destruction they have caused to my beloved military, reducing standards and our battle readiness.

I hate that every show I used to enjoy on TV has become a Gay Fest, with men kissing men, women kissing women and even same sex sexual acts. I am unable to watch much TV anymore and have to carefully screen the shows, taping them first so I can fast forward adverts but also turn it off or fast forward when those actions are about to occur.

I know Gay people. I do not hate them. I like some of them. (By that I mean I don’t like that many people!). What they do behind their closed doors is between them and God. Believe me, one day they will have to answer to Him. It’s not my business.

I do not accept or believe in Gay marriage. I find it offensive and against everything I believe in. God made two sexes to enable breeding. Regardless to what any of these people think they are on any given day, they have X or Y chromosomes. Male or female regardless to what they remove or add to their bodies.

I do believe my opinion is valid. I am always prepared to talk and debate anyone with differing opinions in a friendly fashion but find the left and most in the LGBTQUI community, cannot discuss but only aggressively attack and name call.

I understand the above is my opinion but hey guys, this is my blog! If it is your opinion too then stand up firmly against this evil indoctrination.

Roy Rogers, Roi Rotberg and Me thumbnail

Roy Rogers, Roi Rotberg and Me

By Howard Rotberg

One played the part of a brave cowboy and one really was a brave cowboy. Which one does today’s Israel resemble?

I grew up in a “traditional” North American Jewish home – kosher at home, most holidays observed, driving to the synagogue, and with the television on during Shabbat. I remember that around my tenth birthday, we boys were expected to go to Shabbat services, but before that age we stayed home and even watched television. Saturday mornings saw the broadcast of some of the best children’s programs, and the most popular of all was the singing cowboy, Roy Rogers and his wife Dale Evans.

Rogers was good and moral in every way, and unlike some cowboy shows, he did not fight the Indians, who of course were in the way of the westward march of American civilization. Roy and Dale were friends with the Indians (whom we now call “Natives” as they were clearly not from India). While the cowboy and Indian movies made by others often featured the killing of hostile Indians, many of the Saturday morning television fare had the natives acting as “buddies” to white cowboys such as the Lone Ranger with his native sidekick Tonto (played by a Six Nations actor who grew up in the native “reserve” approximately 4 miles from where I lived.

We read that Roy and Dale even adopted a Native American orphan girl. White people were not supposed to be able to adopt Natives, but it turned out that while Roy grew up in Cincinnati Ohio, his great grandmother was a Native American and thus he and Dale qualified.

We were never too much into playing cowboys and indians when we were young. In 1960, when my cousin and I both turned nine, we instead played the characters from Otto Preminger’s great movie version of Leon Uris’ Exodus with one of us playing Paul Newman’s character Ari Ben Canaan and one playing Sal Mineo’s character Dov Landau.

My first trip to Israel was with my family when I was 15 – about a year prior to the 1967 Six Day War. And Israel, much smaller than it would become after that war, was still very much in the mode of settling land in the Negev, the Galil, and the numerous other vacant pieces of land. For some reason, perhaps the romantic spectacles of Americans settling the West in the cowboy movies, I was interested in the often dangerous aspects of settling the Holy Land, and one of my most memorable visits, during that trip, was to Kibbutz Yad Mordechai, adjacent to the Gaza strip – site of a difficult battle where a large number of Egyptian troops attacked the kibbutz in 1948.

I vividly remember how the kibbutz had opened a museum and created a battle scene with fake Egyptian soldiers overrunning one of the kibbutz’s fields. I don’t know if that battle scene is still there, but I do know that the kibbutz is still there, despite all Arab attempts to kill it, including the wars of 1967 and 1973 and then the missile attacks from 2014 to the present day.

Together with the residents of Sderot, Nahal Oz and other communities facing Gaza, we have seen over the years the bravery of those living close to Gaza or in Judea and Samaria. And as a young man, I started reading as much as I could find about the history of the kibbutzim and other settlements along the Gaza border.

And that is when I discovered the story of Roi Rotberg. (In Hebrew, pronounced Ro-ee.)

In Canada, there are many people with the family name Rotenberg, some with Rothberg, Roitberg, Rutberg and very few with the name Rotberg, a name I was somewhat embarrassed about as a child due to it including “Rot”; accordingly when I first learned about Roi Rotberg it was with the hope that he might be a relative and he might have been, like most of the Rotbergs I found, descended from tailors in Warsaw or Lodz or Kiev.. As the child of a survivor of the Shoah, knowing how many Rotbergs were murdered, I was curious to see what Rotbergs might have survived the Holocaust and might there have been some Rotbergs of greater renown.

Roi Rotberg’s parents left PolandRussia for Israel and he was born in 1935 in Tel Aviv. At the age of 13 he was a messenger between troops in the War of Independence.

After studying at the Mikveh Israel agricultural school and the Shevah Mofet vocational school, he enlisted in the IDF and joined the infantry. After completing an officer’s course, he settled in Nahal Oz right by the armistice line with Gaza, which was to be the first of the Nahal security settlements. Someone who moved to the land adjacent to the Gaza Strip must have been ideological enough to put the interests of the country ahead of his own safety, and nothing much has changed. Rotberrg became the Nahal Oz security officer, and was regularly involved in chasing off infiltrators, sometimes with force.

Rotberg married Amira Glickson and had a son, Boaz, who was an infant at the time of his death at only 25.

The Arab terrorists of the day were called fedayeen. Their constant clashes with the nearby Jewish settlements was one of the causes of the 1956 Sinai War, which started some 6 months after Roi’s murder.

On 29 April 1956 he was caught in an ambush; Arab harvest workers, who had a habit of stealing things from the kibbutz, began to take wheat from the kibbutz’s fields. After Rotberg saw them, he rode his horse toward them to chase them off. If life was a Hollywood movie, he would have chased them away. But in real life, as he approached, others emerged from hiding to attack him. He was shot off his horse, beaten and shot again, then his body was mutilated and dragged into Gaza. His body was returned on the same day after United Nations intervention.

IsraeliChief of StaffMoshe Dayan was visiting Nahal Oz at the time of Roi’s murder and was asked to give a eulogy. This eulogy became one of the most well known speeches in the history of Israel.

As Mitch Ginsburg wrote in April 2016 in the Times of Israel: “What Dayan intended was to eulogize a single fallen comrade. Maybe also to send a message to prime minister David Ben-Gurion, in advance of the 1956 War, about the need for a full-scale operation against the constant flow of Egyptian and Palestinian Arab terror from Gaza. Instead, he penned an ethos that is succinct and brutal, pessimistic and defiant, unapologetic and, tragically, more important to the understanding of Israel today than are large swaths of the state’s own Declaration of Independence.”

And here is a large part of the eulogy on the death of Roi Rotberg, that rings true today as much as that day in April, 1956.

“Yesterday with daybreak, Roi was murdered. The quiet of a spring morning blinded him, and he did not see the stalkers of his soul on the furrow. Let us not hurl blame at the murderers. Why should we complain of their hatred for us? …

“Not from the Arabs of Gaza must we demand the blood of Roi, but from ourselves. How our eyes are closed to the reality of our fate, unwilling to see the destiny of our generation in its full cruelty. Have we forgotten that this small band of youths, settled in Nahal Oz, carries on its shoulders the heavy gates of Gaza, beyond which hundreds of thousands of eyes and arms huddle together and pray for the onset of our weakness so that they may tear us to pieces — has this been forgotten? For we know that if the hope of our destruction is to perish, we must be, morning and evening, armed and ready.

“A generation of settlement are we, and without the steel helmet and the maw of the cannon we shall not plant a tree, nor build a house. Our children shall not have lives to live if we do not dig shelters; and without the barbed wire fence and the machine gun, we shall not pave a path nor drill for water.

“The millions of Jews, annihilated without a land, peer out at us from the ashes of Israeli history and command us to settle and rebuild a land for our people.

“But beyond the furrow that marks the border, lies a surging sea of hatred and vengeance, yearning for the day that the tranquility blunts our alertness, for the day that we heed the ambassadors of conspiring hypocrisy, who call for us to lay down our arms.

“It is to us that the blood of Roi calls from his shredded body. Although we have vowed a thousand vows that our blood will never again be shed in vain — yesterday we were once again seduced, brought to listen, to believe. Our reckoning with ourselves, we shall make today. We mustn’t flinch from the hatred that accompanies and fills the lives of hundreds of thousands of Arabs, who live around us and are waiting for the moment when their hands may claim our blood. We mustn’t avert our eyes, lest our hands be weakened. That is the decree of our generation. That is the choice of our lives — to be willing and armed, strong and unyielding, lest the sword be knocked from our fists, and our lives severed.

“Roi Rotberg, the thin blond lad who left Tel Aviv in order to build his home alongside the gates of Gaza, to serve as our wall. Roi — the light in his heart blinded his eyes and he saw not the flash of the blade. The longing for peace deafened his ears and he heard not the sound of the coiled murderers. The gates of Gaza were too heavy for his shoulders, and they crushed him.”

This eulogy, along with his surviving wife, son and parents are pretty much all that Roi Rotberg left behind. On the other hand, Roy Rogers left his wife and 9 children, some natural and most adopted, together with an estate of some $150 million, a chain of restaurants and royalties from his songs.

Roy Rogers was not a “real” cowboy but Roi Rotberg was. Moshe Dayan went on continuing to serve his country, with distinction,, but the great words of the eulogy were later drowned out by Dayan’s naive plea for “tolerance” in the Six Day War of 1967 when, in his autobiography, he justified turning over the Temple Mount to the Muslims.

Moshe Dayan, the famous Israeli General who headed up the re-capture of Old Jerusalem after it had been occupied and often desecrated by Jordan, from 1948 to 1967 (but who deprecatingly called the Temple Mount a “Vatican” in a famous talk with Central Comman head, Gen. Uzi Narkis, who pushed for liberating the Old City), made a fateful decision not to offend the very Muslims who had desecrated Jewish cemeteries and synagogues in the Old City.

Prior to Israel’s capture of the Old City in the defensive war of 1967, Jordan controlled the Temple Mount and it made sure to control what the Imam was allowed to say in his sermon.

Since 1967, while each Friday Moslem religious leaders indulge in rabble-rousing sermons that would incite some of their followers, Israel has never taken appropriate action. In fact, Jews are not allowed to visit the Temple Mount except under strict guidelines, which, amongst other rules, forbid praying, even silent praying where lips are moving with no sounds coming out.

This Jewish presence is deemed “offensive” to the holiness of the Muslim Mosque built on top of the Jewish Temple; however, Arab children play soccer there, and that is not deemed offensive.

Dayan’s wished to show “broad tolerance,” what I call Tolerism in my book of the same name. Non-Muslims, we are told, must evidence a special tolerance for Muslim intolerance and that extends to changing the facts where necessary to placate Muslim revisionist history – in this case the idea that there is some equivalence between Muslim claims to a supposed ‘third holiest site” (not mentioned in the Koran) and Jewish claims to the absolutely most holy site in Judaism.

The Israeli flag flew over the Temple Mount for a total of 12 hours before Dayan ordered it taken down and he then gave administration of the area to the Arabs.

Dayan, despite his great military career forgot the lesson from Roi Rotberg’s murder, of which he spoke in his eulogy.

The late Prime Minister Ariel Sharon once wrote: “We cannot secure every water pipe from vandalism, or prevent the uprooting of every tree. We do not have the capacity to prevent the murder of workers toiling in vineyard, or families when they are asleep.

“But we do have the power to exact a very high price for our blood.”

Finally then, are we willing and armed, strong and unyielding when it comes to the terrorists who hate us so? Israel has the power to exact a very high price for its blood – but does it have the will to use its power to become something other than rich singing cowboys?

Proud Boys Charged with Seditious Conspiracy for Attending the January 6th, 2021 Capitol Rally thumbnail

Proud Boys Charged with Seditious Conspiracy for Attending the January 6th, 2021 Capitol Rally

By Save America Foundation

Foreword by Fred Brownbill. As many of you understand our jails are filling up with political prisoners whose constitutional rights have been summarily removed by a tyrannical and to me illegal Biden administration and a corrupt politicized DOJ and the disgusting and dirty excuse of a law enforcement agency, the Capitol Police. Friends and acquaintances of mine sit in prisons and jails around this country charged with fictitious and unprovable charges in connection with the January 6th protest outside Congress. Nearly 18 months later they are still holding a dog and pony show trying to take our attention off the disastrous job they are doing as the deliberately destroy our constitutional republic, one right or freedom at a time. America. Wake up. This is not Cuba. This is not China or Venezuela. This is the United States of America. Stand up and tell these traitors enough is enough. This November show them by wiping out the democrats in the mid term elections. It is our last chance to attempt to save this constitutional republic. Do not be found to have come up short or I believe there will be bloodshed.

By MICHAEL KUNZELMAN and ALANNA DURKIN RICHER

The former top leader of the far-right Proud Boys extremist group and other members were charged Monday with seditious conspiracy for what federal prosecutors say was a coordinated attack on the U.S. Capitol to stop Congress from certifying President Joe Biden’s 2020 electoral victory.

The latest indictment against Henry “Enrique” Tarrio, the former Proud Boys chairman, and four others linked to the group comes as the U.S. House committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot prepares to begin public hearings this week to lay out its findings.

The indictment alleges that the Proud Boys conspired to forcibly oppose the lawful transfer of presidential power. Tarrio and the others — Ethan Nordean, Joseph Biggs, Zachary Rehl and Dominic Pezzola — were previously charged with different conspiracy counts.

They are scheduled to stand trial in August in Washington, D.C.’s federal court.

The seditious conspiracy charges are among the most serious filed so far, but aren’t the first of their kind. Eleven members or associates of the anti-government Oath Keepers militia group, including its founder and leader Stewart Rhodes, were indicted in January on seditious conspiracy charges in a serious escalation in the largest investigation in the Justice Department’s history.

Three Oath Keepers have already pleaded guilty to the rarely used Civil War-era charge that calls for up to 20 years in prison. The indictment alleges that the Oath Keepers and their associates prepared in the weeks leading up to Jan. 6 as if they were going to war, discussing things like weapons and training.

Tarrio, the group’s top leader, wasn’t in Washington, D.C., when the riot erupted on Jan. 6, 2021, but authorities say he helped put into motion the violence that day.

Police arrested Tarrio in Washington two days before the riot and charged him with vandalizing a Black Lives Matter banner at a historic Black church during a protest in December 2020. Tarrio was released from jail on Jan. 14 after serving his five-month sentence for that case.

An attorney for Tarrio said his client “is going to have his day in court.”

“And we intend to vigorously represent him through that process,” said Nayib Hassan.

Defense attorney Carmen Hernendez, who represents Rehl, said her client is “as innocent of these charges as the ones that had already been pending against him.”

“Seditious conspiracy requires the use of force, and he never used any force nor thought about using any force,” Hernandez said.

More than three dozen people charged in the Capitol siege have been identified by federal authorities as leaders, members or associates of the Proud Boys, whose members describe it as a politically incorrect men’s club for “Western chauvinists.”

They have brawled with antifascist activists at rallies and protests. Vice Media co-founder Gavin McInnes, who founded the Proud Boys in 2016, sued the Southern Poverty Law Center for labeling it as a hate group.

The indictment alleges that the Proud Boys held meetings and communicated over encrypted messages to plan for the attack in the days leading up to Jan. 6. On the day of the riot, authorities say Proud Boys dismantled metal barricades set up to protect the Capitol and mobilized, directed and led members of the crowd into the building.

Prosecutors have said the Proud Boys arranged for members to communicate using specific frequencies on Baofeng radios. The Chinese-made devices can be programmed for use on hundreds of frequencies, making it difficult for outsiders to eavesdrop.

Shortly before the riot, authorities say Tarrio posted on social media that the group planned to turn out in “record numbers” on Jan. 6, but would be “incognito” instead of donning their traditional clothing colors of black and yellow.

Around the same time, an unnamed person sent Tarrio a document that laid out plans for occupying a few “crucial buildings” in Washington on Jan. 6, including House and Senate office buildings around the Capitol, the indictment says. The nine-page document was entitled “1776 Returns” and called for having as “many people as possible” to “show our politicians We the People are in charge,” according to the indictment.

Nordean, of Auburn, Washington, was a Proud Boys chapter president and a member of the group’s national “Elders Council.” Biggs, of Ormond Beach, Florida, is a self-described Proud Boys organizer. Rehl was president of the Proud Boys chapter in Philadelphia. Pezzola is a Proud Boy member from Rochester, New York.

A New York man pleaded guilty in December to storming the U.S. Capitol with fellow Proud Boys members. Matthew Greene was the first Proud Boys member to publicly plead guilty to conspiring with other members to stop Congress from certifying the Electoral College vote. Greene agreed to cooperate with authorities investigating the attack.

Another Proud Boy, Charles Donohoe, of Kernersville, North Carolina, pleaded guilty in April to conspiracy and assault charges and also agreed to cooperate in the Justice Department’s cases against other members of the extremist group.

In December, a federal judge refused to dismiss an earlier indictment charging alleged leaders of the Proud Boys with conspiring to block the certification of Biden’s electoral college win. U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly rejected defense attorneys’ arguments that the men were charged with conduct that is protected by the First Amendment right to free speech.

Hear O Israel––How Do I Hate Thee? thumbnail

Hear O Israel––How Do I Hate Thee?

By Joan Swirsky

King Solomon said, “there is nothing new under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 1:9).

The sun rises, and the sun goes down…all streams run to the sea… what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.

In his prescience, King Solomon no doubt knew that one of the things that would remain the same was the obdurate persistence––over thousands of years––of maniacal Jew hatred and a fanatical loathing of Israel.

If it weren’t so serious, and deadly, it would be almost comical, considering that the massive, heavily armed, immensely populated, and hugely influential empires that tried to annihilate the Jews—the Babylonians, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines, Assyrians, et al––have been extinct for centuries, while the teeny tiny world of Judaism flourishes to this day.

And that is not to omit the Crusades and Inquisition and forced conversions and the 20th century Holocaust in which Hitler’s “willing executioners” ––all over Europe––succeeded in mass-murdering a full half of the world’s Jewry. Here is a partial picture of Jewish history and persecution that makes the vibrancy of modern Jewish life even more amazing!

But not so amazing that today, in the putatively evolved 21st century, the historical scourge of viciously rampant Jew hatred not only gallops across the globe but also in hundreds if not thousands of colleges and universities in our own country!

According to The Center for the Study of Contemporary European Jewry, hatred of Jews is on a significant rise. Their 2021 survey reports:

  • In the US, which has the largest Jewish population outside of Israel, the number of anti-Jewish hate crimes recorded in both New York and Los Angeles was almost twice that of the previous year,
  • In France, the number of recorded anti-Semitic incidents increased by nearly 75% compared with 2020,
  • In Canada, a leading Jewish group reported a 40-year record in anti-Semitic physical violence in one month – August,
  • In the UK, the number of recorded physical assaults against Jews increased by 78% compared with 2020,
  • In Germany, anti-Semitic incidents recorded by police were up 29% compared with 2020,
  • In Australia, there was the sharpest rise in recorded anti-Semitic incidents, with 88 in May alone.
  • In Ukraine (Jewish population: 43,000), acts of vandalism against Jews increased 162.5% from 2019.

In fact, according to the Annual Report on Hate Crimes released by the Uniform Crime Reporting Program of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), it is Jews, among the world’s tiniest populations––15 million in a world of nearly eight billion––who experience the most bias, hatred, assaults, blatant racism and hate crimes.

Yet, we Jews continue to thrive not only in our ancestral home in the State of Israel but around the world, contributing disproportionately, as we always have, to the world’s welfare––in science, the arts, medicine, technology, athletics, media, et al. Still, the world’s Jew haters and Israel loathers continue to marinate in their DNA hatred and envy of the Jews who, of course, they should be admiring and emulating. Stupid is forever!

WHO COULD IMAGINE?

It is inconceivable that in America, a country that welcomes the stranger, strives mightily for equality, and in which minorities have succeeded far beyond even their own expectations, that many of our leaders have been outright racists themselves, with a particularly irrational hatred toward Jews.

Going back to Franklin Delano Roosevelt, whose Jew hatred has been exhaustively documented by professor, columnist and author Rafael Medoff, among others; up to the Ayatollah-infatuated Jimmy Carter who had and continues to have a “special animus” toward Jews and Israel, according to rabbi and author Shmuley Boteach; and not to omit the seething Jew hatred of Barack Obama, as spelled out here and here and here and here, the list has no end.

But who could imagine that in the so-called evolved culture of 2022, that among the most maniacally anti-Semitic people in the world––and among the most powerful––are those in the Biden regime who currently occupy the White House?

Very unfortunately, many of them are apostate Jews…you know, the species that has replaced Judaism with their own fetishistic, cult-like religion of Social Justice––a cult that worships at the altar of political correctness, multiculturalism, moral relativism, and the convoluted and racist construct of intersectionality.

And all of them are Democrats, including a huge number of elected members of the U.S. Congress! We have all witnessed the ferocious Jew hatred and abhorrence of Israel vomited out on a regular basis by the growing number of racist Democrats in the U.S. Congress, aka “the Squad” of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Cori Bush (D-MO), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Jamaal Bowman (NY), and Ilhan Omar (D-MN), et al––the list gets longer every day.

Here is their latest  Resolution, which calls the founding of Israel “a catastrophe.” And here, political activist Paul Schnee describes The Treachery of the ‘Squad’.

Of course, if any member of Congress dared to criticize the color, style, or primitive nature of a:

or a:

…all hell would break loose. But vilify, insult, lie about, slander, or proffer a blood libel about Jews, a thunderous silence!

WHY ARE SO MANY JEWS DEMOCRATS?

Clearly it is not solely because their parents and grandparents were Democrats, but because they appear to genuinely like high taxes, open borders, a weak military, no-bail laws, the rampant thuggery of Black Lives Matter and Antifa, and especially abortions up to birth (now legal in 29 states) and even infanticide after live births. We know this because this is what they consistently––decade after decade after decade––campaign for, teach their children, contribute money to, and vote for.

But there are other theories. Writer M. B. Mathews says this phenomenon is “hard to fathom.” But a rabbi in New Jersey, he reports, says that Jews vote Democrat because it’s in their DNA.

The late English journalist Malcolm Muggeridge, Mathews writes, said: “I am not certain that college attendance is the only cause of Jewish liberalism, but it is probably the most likely culprit. Many colleges are festering pustules of regressive socialist/Marxist thinking. Our Jewish youngsters are being groomed intellectually to be perversely liberal.”

And editor, writer and conservative political commentator Norman Podhoretz has posited that “To most American Jews . . . liberalism is . . . the very essence of being a Jew…it is a religion in its own right, complete with its own catechism and its own dogmas and, Tertullian-like, obdurately resistant to facts…”

IN THEIR OWN WORDS

But don’t believe me. Here, in alphabetical order, are the direct quotes and credentials and behavior of some of Joe Biden’s hand-picked Jew-hating and Israel-loathing appointees, which are not limited to the Oval Office, but also include officials in the State Department, the National Security Council, the Defense Department, and U.S. intelligence agencies. It is as if the arch criterion for employment in this regime is a loathing of Jews and detestation of Israel. Otherwise, don’t apply!

I have written about this before, but I repeat it here because I believe that repetition aids learning. Only space limitations prevents me from listing all these miscreants and presenting the entire sordid picture of these career anti-Semitic racists.

I could write a doctoral thesis on Joe Biden’s animus toward Israel, going back decades. Here are just a few headlines, out of thousands.

Biden Is No Friend of Israel

Biden to visit Jerusalem to tell the world: Zion belongs to Muslims

Biden State Dept “Strongly Opposes” New Jewish Homes in Israel

Biden Institutes Rules Forbidding US Soldiers from Non-Official Travel to Israel

Why Is the Biden Administration Determined to Help Terrorist Iran Get a Bomb?

HADY AMR (whose mother is Jewish) is the Deputy Asst. Secretary for Israeli and Palestinian Affairs. Caroline Glick writes that Amr is an anti-Israel activist with “a long record of statements hostile to Israel and supportive of Palestinian terrorists, including Hamas.” Amr said: “I was inspired by the Palestinian intifada” (the terror wars in which Palestinian Arab terrorists murdered or maimed 10,000 Jews).

MAHER BITAR, the “Palestinian” Senior Director for Intelligence of the National Security Council (NSC), supports the Boycott/Divest/Sanction (BDS) movement to strangle Israel economically and has called for the destruction of Israel.

ANTHONY BLINKEN, Secretary of State (who is Jewish), has praised radical anti-Israel J Street as a ‘constructive force,’” and opposed designating the murderous terrorist Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a foreign terror organization.

KRISTEN CLARKE, head of the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice, has a long history of advocating for anti-Semites and spewing anti-Semitic lies,” going back to her heading Harvard’s Black Students Association.

REEMA DODIN, the “Palestinian” Deputy Director of the White House Office of Legislative Affairs, supports the suicide bombings of Jews, was the leader of the Hamas-affiliated Muslim Students Association, and has spread Medieval-style blood libels about Jews.

AVRIL HAINES, Director of National Intelligence (who is Jewish) has been described as rabidly anti-Israel, and was (surprise surprise!) Obama’s deputy national security adviser and is now deputy director of Obama’s anti-Israel Columbia World Project.

KARINE JEAN-PIERRE, White House Press Secretary, former head of far-left, anti-Israel MoveOn.org, has praised lawmakers for boycotting pro-Israel groups and accused Israel of “war crimes.”

JOHN KERRY, who has Jewish roots, is Envoy for Climate. With personal family connections to Iran, Kerry, according to Adam Berkowitz, has written that “even the Israeli leftist newspaper Haaretz is appalled by John Kerry’s bungled, counterproductive, utter capitulation to Hamas.”

ALEJANDRO MAYORKAS, who is Jewish, is Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. He is a board member of HIAS, which partners with terrorism-financier Islamic Relief, and he has undermined Israeli repatriation policies regarding illegal immigrants, among many anti-Israel actions.

DENIS McDONOUGH is Secretary of the Veterans Administration. Obama’s former Chief of Staff, he has spoken at the anti-Israel J Street convention and falsely condemned Israel’s “occupation.” As Obama’s Deputy National Security Advisor, he praised the imam of a Virginia mosque, knowing that the imam was a Muslim Brotherhood leader and VP of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), which directly funds Hamas.

THOMAS NIDES, Obama’s former deputy secretary of state, is Biden’s Israel Ambassador. According to Daniel Greenfield, Nides tells BDS group he wants Jews out of Jerusalem, and also documents that Nides “is the ambassador to the anti-Israel lobby.” Nides also describes Arab terrorists who murder Jews as “martyrs,”

SUSAN RICE is Domestic Policy Advisor (aka Biden’s Valerie Jarrett). The serial liar and inveterate Israel basher was Obama’s senior foreign-policy advisor and John Kerry’s chief foreign-policy adviser when he ran for President. And you know what both those Jew-hating racists stood for!

WENDY SHERMAN, who is Jewish, is Deputy Secretary of State. She negotiated the genocidal-to-Israel Iran deal and has also praised arch-terrorist Yasir Arafat as “the leader of the resistance movement” as well as downplaying the PLO suicide bombings and other terror attacks on innocent Israelis that Arafat engineered; on and on.

Unfortunately, because of space limitations, this is the very very short list! But you can see some of Biden’s other Jew-hating, Israel-detesting appointments here.

All of them––I repeat, all of them––are obsessed––to the point of utter capitulation to all the Draconian demands of Iran––to seal the malevolent Iran deal in order to put nuclear weapons into the hands of the one nation on earth that has vowed for the last 50 years literally to destroy every last vestige of the State of Israel, to wipe the only Jewish state in the world and its inhabitants off the map of human history.

I could recite the colossal failures of the current regime, but everyone in America knows and recognizes and “feels” the horrors that a very compromised and diminished Joe Biden and his communist handlers have inflicted on this nation and on their own personal lives.

WHAT TO DO?

There are only two solutions to this regime’s rampant racism.

The first is for every sane citizen to write to their representatives in the U.S. Congress and the U.S. Senate EVERY DAY to insist on voter IDs and scrupulously monitored midterm elections.

If these elected officials don’t answer you, or they send a waffling response, know that they are in on “the fix,” no doubt for the hefty payments they’re receiving––paying off their mortgages, financing their children through college, et al––from the leftwing billionaires who control all Democrat behavior.

Here’s How to Contact All 535 Members of United States Congress. CALL, EMAIL, TWEET, et al, them every day! | This will take you 10 minutes.

Simply prepare a two-or-three-line message that expresses your ideas, for example: Mr. President…I insist that you mandate Voter ID cards for ALL voters in ALL elections, starting with the midterms in November 2022.

In influencing elected officials, numbers count! Let’s send them an avalanche of phone calls and a Mt. Everest of e-mails!

The second is to vote in the midterms on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. And to encourage everyone you know to cast their vote in this all-important, history-changing, anti-fascist election.

When We the American People put our hearts and minds and efforts into any mission, we can accomplish anything!

Senator John Barrasso: Schumer ‘Bears Some Responsibility’ for Threat on Kavanaugh‘s Life

By Discover The Networks

Wednesday on the Fox News Channel’s America Reports, Senate Republican Conference Chair Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) said that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) was partly responsible for the threat on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s life.

Barrasso said, “Thanks to the police officers for being there and responding so quickly. That man was there. As he stated, apparently, he was there to murder Justice Kavanaugh. I believe Chuck Schumer bears some responsibility because he has contributed to this atmosphere of directly attacking members, by name, of the Supreme Court. Remember, talking about abortion, Chuck Schumer went to the steps of the Supreme Court, and he called out Kavanaugh by name.”

John Roberts said, “What did he say, unleash a whirlwind, or something?”

He added, “He said, ‘I’m telling you Kavanaugh, you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you.’ That is a pretty direct threat. Now with the Supreme Court ready to rule on abortion, it was the abortion issue we are talking about. We have passed a bill in the Senate to provide additional protection for all members of the Supreme Court, all nine members. Nancy Pelosi in the House has refused to take it up.”

At a July 2021 event with Roosevelt Island and Upper East Side community leaders in New York, Schumer said: “How could 74 million people vote for such a despicable human being as Donald Trump? I don’t care if you’re a liberal or a conservative, Democrat or Republican, he is a vile man. He is dishonest, divisive. That’s what he loves to do. Just divide and have people fighting with each other. He’s a racist. And he always appeals to the dark side of human nature, which he’s very good at, unfortunately. How did they vote for him?”

Biden Administration Veering Off Into Authoritarianism thumbnail

Biden Administration Veering Off Into Authoritarianism

By The Daily Skirmish – Liberato.US

Government documents obtained from a DHS whistleblower show the agency’s Disinformation Governance Board is focused on U.S. citizens (not foreigners, as claimed), is engaged in operations (not just analysis, as claimed), and had begun work prior to the date DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas provided in Congressional testimony.

The whistleblower documents also show the disinformation board was seeking commitments from social media platforms to censor content it didn’t like.  A board leader held meetings with Twitter executives.

The board is currently ‘paused’ and the woman chosen to run it resigned.  After she left, Nina Jankowicz said anyone who criticized her and the board were “endangering our national security.”  Sieg Heil!   She had earlier said she shudders at the thought of free speech advocates gaining control of social media platforms.  Heaven forbid people should have their say.  You know, she can call it ‘disinformation’ but the fact of the matter is she’s talking about censorship, plain and simple – the silencing of opposition viewpoints.  But it’s worse than that.  She’s also talking about the imposition of government-approved viewpoints in their place.   We do not want the government in the business of deciding what is true and what is false for very good reasons I’ve laid out in previous commentaries.  She has proposed having supposedly “trustworthy” people like herself add ‘context’ to other people’s tweets.  This from a woman who had no trouble pronouncing the Hunter Biden laptop story Russian disinformation when no one any longer contests the laptop is genuine.  She was just plain wrong.  One small example of why we don’t want the government telling us what is true or what to believe.

And now we find our government was lying to us all along about the disinformation board.  They told us it was just a study group that would look at foreign bad actors feeding us bad information.  The fact of the matter is it is an operational group that was on the verge of using social media to censor U.S. citizens.  This is the iron fist of state control and it’s not the only way the Biden administration has been veering off into authoritarianism, lately.

The administration told schools to knuckle under to the transgenderism agenda or they would lose funding for school lunches and other federal programs.  Let biological males destroy your girls sports teams and allow them into girls locker rooms or the federal government will starve school kids until you submit.  South Dakota’s Governor has already vowed to fight this gangsterism in court.

The Biden administration in recent days has issued a secret subpoena to get the phone records of a journalist in a leak investigation and secretly been getting the results of home COVID tests from unsuspecting consumers.  Biden climate advisor Gina McCarthy threatened airlines with destruction unless they follow new sustainable energy rules.  They better go all-in on the rules “or they’re gonna be out of here,” she said.  She bragged in the same speech the administration would issue a hundred new rules on appliances this year alone.  This calls to mind Thomas Jefferson’s famous quote about King George who “erected a multitude of New Offices and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.”

Put all this together with Joe Biden openly talking about jailing political opponents who don’t follow his rules and the January 6th Committee openly persecuting its political enemies and you can see things are headed in the wrong direction.

Let’s get one thing straight:  these politicians and bureaucrats work for us.  We are the Sovereign.  They are not supposed to be censoring us, telling us what to believe, forcing their sexual agendas on us, secretly gathering data on us, or smothering us with swarms of new rules.  They might have the power to do so at the moment, but they are without question jack-booted thugs and you really should stop supporting them before they find a reason to come after you.

New Book Offers Return to a Conservative Future thumbnail

New Book Offers Return to a Conservative Future

By Jihad Watch

“Many can now see that the nations of the West are hurtling toward the abyss,” writes American-Israeli political theorist Yoram Hazony in his recent 400-page magnum opusConservatism: A Rediscovery. Herein he provides a tour de force review of Anglo-American conservative political thought, from fifteenth-century England to the modern West, and draws lessons for why increasingly fragmented free societies must abandon failed “Enlightenment liberalism.”

At home and abroad, Hazony surveys the Enlightenment’s political wreckage. Domestically, a “dogmatic belief in the individual’s freedom has moved liberals to destigmatize—and, eventually, to actively legitimize—sexual license, narcotics, and pornography, as well as abortion, easy divorce, and out-of-marriage births.” Correspondingly, the “family has been broken and fertility ruined in nearly every Western country.” In foreign affairs, it was “just this kind of rationalism that brought America and other Western countries into the last generation of costly and unsuccessful wars seeking to bring Enlightenment liberalism to the Balkans, the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa.”

The antidote for Hazony comes in a “revived nationalist conservatism” that has appeared in recent years in places such as America, Britain, Brazil, Eastern Europe, and Italy. This movement “is rightly called a ‘nationalist’ conservatism, since it seeks to return the national interest, or the common good of the nation, to the center of political discourse,” he writes. By contrast, the “liberal paradigm is blind to the nation” and sees “only individuals and the state that rules over them.”

“Conservative democracy,” as Hazony terms it, or the “Anglo-American tradition is rooted in the ideal of a free and just national state, whose origin is in the Hebrew Bible.” This nation arises “out of diverse tribes, its unity anchored in a common traditional language, law, and religion,” he notes. “Conservative democracy regards the traditional family and congregation as the most basic institutions necessary for the conduct of civilized life,” he adds. “At the same time, the state offers toleration to religious and social views that do not endanger the integrity and well-being of the nation as a whole.”

In contrast to the seventh-century English political philosopher John Locke, the “decisive figure in the liberal tradition,” Hazony praises the eighteenth-century British Parliamentarian Edmund Burke. Empiricists including Burke rejected “Locke’s axioms” that “one need only consult reason to arrive at the one form of government that is everywhere the best, for all mankind,” Hazony notes. The “only realistic prospect for advancement in politics and morals is by means of an empirical method, which requires a course of trial and error over centuries,” as exemplified by Anglo-American constitutional history.

Hazony elaborates that “there are certainly principles of human nature that are true of all men, and therefore natural laws that prescribe what is good for every human society.” Yet these “are the subject of unending controversy” due to the “great variety of human experience, and the weakness of the operations of the human mind that are used to generalize from this experience,” he adds. In actuality, the “way people think and the things they believe are largely the product of the particular culture in which they were raised,” not pure reason.

Hazony juxtaposes the French Revolution with the “Second American Revolution” following the ratification of the United States Constitution, both in 1789. Following views developed by Locke and others such as Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the French Revolution unleashed “its universal Declaration of the Rights of Man and subsequent terror for those who would not listen to reason,” Hazony observes. Meanwhile, after the failed Articles of Confederation, the United States Constitution, “ended a decade of shocking disorder by restoring the familiar forms of the national English constitution.”

At Philadelphia’s 1787 constitutional “convention dominated by the conservative party,” of the “initiators and the most consequential participants, most were longtime nationalists and later Federalists” such as George Washington, Hazony notes. “The Federalist Party was from the start the party of American nationalist conservatism,” he adds, whose legacy, including opposition to slavery, would continue in the later “American Whig party.” This “name strikingly intended to invoke the Anglo-American conservative tradition and the ideas of Edmund Burke,” ideas that later laid the basis for the emergence of the Republican Party under Abraham Lincoln.

This concrete political history means underlines for Hazony that “[n]either America nor Britain has ever been a ‘creedal nation,’ defined primarily by an abstract formula as found, for example, in the American Declaration of Independence.” Beginning with the Federalists, national conservatives therefore believed that the “adoption of immigrant communities into a new nation can only be successful if the immigrants are sufficiently weak, and therefore willing to assimilate,” Hazony notes. Belying mantras that diversity is strength, he observes that the

relationship between cohesion and tyranny is actually the reverse of what is commonly supposed. Where a nation, tribe, or family is cohesive, it may be ruled with a light hand, and a greater degree of freedom can be entrusted to its constituent members.

Enlightenment rationalism has unleashed a “perpetual cultural revolution,” Hazony notes. As he explains, “since liberalism constantly inculcates an aversion to tradition, it is unstable and unsustainable. For this reason, it is easily overthrown by Marxists and others claiming that their own reasoning is superior to that of any liberal.” Accordingly, merely thirty years after the Cold War’s end, an “updated Marxism—one that has taken the oppressed to be people of color and LGBTQ rather than the working class,” has conquered leading American institutions.

A major engine of American social upheaval has been the United States Supreme Court since its 1947 Everson v. Board of Education decision, which falsely proclaimed a “separation between church and state,” Hazony writes. He ironically notes that Washington, America’s first president, and his successor, John Adams, “appointed only committed Federalists to the Supreme Court” such as John Marshall, and thereby further strengthened national union. They never “imagined the circumstances that most Western nations face today, in which jurists use the national Supreme Court to impose what is in effect a new constitution—one that is post-national and hostile to Christianity.”

Changing America’s judicial direction is thus a key concern for Hazony in his drive to restore faith and family to societal prominence in America as part of a wider national renewal. His analysis of American judicial history is just one of the many fascinating facets of this richly detailed, insightful book.  “Conservatism begins at home” with conservative mores, Hazony pithily concludes his tome, which would be a welcome addition to any curious home.

Psychologist Explains the Unhealthy Incentives Behind ‘Cancel Culture’ thumbnail

Psychologist Explains the Unhealthy Incentives Behind ‘Cancel Culture’

By Foundation for Economic Education (FEE)

Jonathan Haidt, author of ‘The Righteous Mind,’ says one of the marks of an open and civil society is that individuals are not afraid to share opinions.

If there was a video documenting every second of my life, you can bet it would contain some pretty stupid comments I’ve made over the years. I would also probably be reminded of some opinions I no longer believe. If you’re being honest with yourself, yours likely would be equally cringe.

The things we have said in the past may not have been outrageously offensive, but we have all made comments, or held opinions, we later regret. We are, after all, inherently flawed creatures.

But imagine if one instance of poor judgment or one “fringe” opinion stuck with you forever. This is the problem our society is now facing with the prevalence of cancel culture.

In 2016, then-high school freshman Mimi Groves posted a video to Snapchat in which she used a racial slur. The video later circulated around her school, though it wasn’t met with controversy at the time.

Fellow classmate Jimmy Galligan hadn’t seen the footage until last year when the two were seniors—four years after it first made the rounds at Heritage High School. By this time, Groves had moved on to focus on her role as varsity cheer captain with big dreams of attending the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, a school known for its nationally ranked cheer squad.

For Groves, summer 2020 had been a time of celebration as she found out she had been accepted to the university’s cheer team. But her joy was short-lived when the death of George Floyd rightly outraged the nation, sparking a resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Like many teens, Groves used her social media platforms to urge people to protest, donate, and sign petitions in support of ending police brutality. It was then that her unfortunate video came back to haunt her.

“You have the audacity to post this, after saying the N-word,” one commenter, unknown to the teen, posted on her Instagram.

That’s when her phone began ringing nonstop.

Galligan had held onto the video made four years earlier and had chosen to celebrate Groves’ admission to UT by blasting the footage to every major social media platform.

As the video began going viral, public outrage ensued, calling for the university to rescind her acceptance.

Capitulating to the mob, UT removed her from their cheer team, a decision that resulted in Groves withdrawing from the school because of what she perceived as pressure from the school’s admissions office.

Make no mistake, making racial slurs of any kind is demeaning and inappropriate behavior. But is one comment made four years prior enough to ruin the future of a teen who hadn’t even entered adulthood yet?

The court of public opinion said yes, without giving Groves any chance at redemption.

Groves’ story is just one of many.

Cancel culture has become more widespread over the last several years than anyone could have imagined. When I penned this article on the topic two years ago, I had no idea the problem would escalate to the level it has reached today.

But cancel culture isn’t reserved only for those who have made distasteful comments in the past.

Today, those espousing any opinion that goes against “woke” rhetoric are ridiculed online, fired from their jobs, and some are banned from using popular social media platforms altogether.

One University of North Carolina Wilmington professor, Mike Adams, even took his own life after tweets construed as offensive pushed him into early retirement after years of service to the institution.

Jonathan Haidt, author of The Righteous Mind and co-author of The Coddling of the American Mindhas been an outspoken critic of the cancel culture phenomenon for some time.

“Part of a call-out culture is you get credit based on what someone else said if you ‘call it out,’” he said in a 2018 interview.

This virtue signaling, which is really just a means of proving to society how “good” and “moral” your views are, is only half of the equation, however. Cancel culture is also about personal destruction, which is obvious in Groves’ situation, since Galligan didn’t use this ammunition against her until the time was ripe for maximum harm.

“It(cancel culture) has reached a level of personal vindictiveness, where people go out of their way to find ways the things other people say could be construed as insensitive,” Haidt said.

Slurs and inappropriate comments aside, cancel culture has made people scared to share their opinions lest they be condemned for thinking “incorrectly” about any given issue.

We now live in an era where people are constantly looking over their shoulders, or computer screens, worried that whatever opinion they post might make them victims of cancel culture.

There is no opportunity to change one’s mind, nor is there room to defend opinions you genuinely believe. And this is a huge problem for any civil society.

Haidt spoke of the importance of protecting open dialogue so that we may live in a society filled with varying opinions from which to choose.

“One of the most important [aspects] is that people are not afraid to share their opinions – they’re not afraid that they’re going to be shamed socially for disagreeing with the dominant opinion,” Haidt said.

The odds are high that your opinions about certain issues will change over time. However, some may not, and you shouldn’t live in fear that your beliefs will be met with social condemnation and isolation.

We are no longer given the room to share our opinions today because we are no longer able to disagree with each other respectfully.

You’re not always going to agree with everything other people say — not your professors, your classmates, or your parents. In fact, you might even find that your own views change as you learn new things and grow as a person and adult.

But having the freedom to consider all opinions and decide what you genuinely believe is vital to the human experience and civil discourse.

There is a market of choice in all things, from what clothes you wear, products you buy, and what ideas you subscribe to.

When you go shopping, you might not like the first outfit you try. You might not even like the second or third. But trying on different looks, or opinions, allows you to think for yourself and figure out what it is you want, or believe.

To be truly open-minded, you must be able to consider all opinions, instead of condemning any thought contrary to your own. The free exchange of ideas pushes individuals to share unique ideas and allows for opinions to evolve.

Dissent is what makes democracy strong. Our Constitution has outlasted so many others because the Founders disagreed and debated with each other until they crafted a document that fostered “a more perfect union” than had ever been seen before. We would be wise not to forget the example they set.

Put simply, shaming others doesn’t work. It’s purely punitive, and self-aggrandizing. It also rarely changes a person’s mind and often further radicalizes their beliefs, widening the divide already growing in our country.

To foster a world where ideas can be freely expressed, Pacific Legal Foundation will be hosting an event this Friday featuring Haidt that will examine the many ways free speech serves as a central tenet of innovation, community, and civil society, and how we can preserve and protect this fundamental value that makes our society so extraordinary.

Without the ability to speak freely and consider all opinions, civil discourse cannot occur. In its absence, society as we know it will cease to exist and the divides between us will continue to grow.

Lyin’ Biden Hits the Talk Show Circuit thumbnail

Lyin’ Biden Hits the Talk Show Circuit

By Christopher Cirino

Good morning Joey Kahn,

Diversionary Tactics

Well, it is finally here. I speak of the orchestrated Chardonnay Pelosi and gangs, diversion. The 1/6 kangaroo court just ahead of the midterm elections. You know Joey Kahn, to (try) and take the attention away from the dumpster fire referred to as, the Biden Crime Family Administration, and ALL their failed policies. This according to those radical right wingers, those darn white supremacist’s.

Is This Joey’s Idea of a Press Conference?

I don’t see it that way at all, that this installed administration is an absolute disaster. I think little Joey is doing a bang up job. Just ask him, he will tell you how great things are going. See…….that’s all you need, forget about all the data that says otherwise. Did you see him knock it out of the park last night on Jimmy “lapdog” Kimmel’s show. It was like listening to JKF, Barack Hussein and Bubba Clinton, rolled into one. What an articulate, orating genius. Mind-boggling actually. I’m sure most intelligent American citizens, feel the same way……..even though I understand ratings were in the toilet.

Of course, those conservatives threw water on Lyin’ Biden’s parade again. Calling this desperate attempt (to actually Lie) to fool viewer’s ……a complete embarrassment. They liken it to visiting a grandfather at the senior center, while he rambles on incoherently. Maybe he was exhausted from trying to climb (tripping) up the stairs to Air Force One again…….darn wind!

Kimmel: Democratic Stooge

Was Jimmy Kimmel (former comedian, now political arm of the DNC) going to kiss him? It was getting a little too close for comfort, as he looked lovingly into Joey Talibiden’s eyes as he tried to formulate words……very touching and sincere. Helping Joey finish his sentences, it was awe inspiring. Conservatives suggested next time this liberal hack just sit him in his lap and stroke his hair plugs, and tickle him under his face lifted chin. Embarrassing is a gross understatement! You have to love the fact that he hasn’t done a totally unscripted press conference YET, and his handlers think this is a formidable substitute. Absolutely hilarious. Wouldn’t you agree Joey Kahn, highly respected Executive Editor, …..ahem.

I see, right on cue your tabloid is flooding it’s iconic front page with your propaganda, sorry, I mean honest, unbiased reporting. I love the compensated Op-Ed writer stating, “Liz Cheney Will Not Tolerate Trump’s Lies.” Is this like the Russian collusion farce? You know where everything you accuse elected President Trump of, is actually the blueprint of the Nazi, sorry I mean Democratic Party. Of course, I’m pointing to Beijing Biden’s inability to tell the truth…….at all. He does it with ease, very sociopathic of him. He could give ole Hillary Rodham, Chuckles Schumer, or Chardonnay Pelosi a run for their money. Hilarious.

How much longer is his loving wife “Dr.” Jill going to let her dementia ridden husband be used as Barry’s puppet. I mean when she started dating Joey (while still married) she must have felt something for him. Tell me she has not fallen into the Svengali-like trance of Hunter (former crack addict/now famous artist), like his brother’s widow Hallie.

Now Joey Kahn, I know you are still smarting from your ridiculous photo shoot in your office recently. The one of you reading your tabloid, in your stocking feet on the floor of your office…yikes. Has anyone been fired for this enormous snafu? But, you must get back on track. We need more apolitical, highly moral reporting that the Old Gray Lady is known for. So what, if most say your tabloid is now considered a few notches below The National Inquirer . As long as Slushy is signing those big checks, who really cares, right Joey?

Get Back to Work

So focus champ……..INSURRECTION, INSURRECTION, INSURRECTION, maybe some Russian collusion sans Hillary’s input, of course. Remember no coverage of inflation, the treason being committed at the border, baby formula, violent crime exploding (in Democratic cities), etc, etc, etc. You see that Joey, I said that 3 times. It’s a little trick I picked up from the Houseplant masquerading as a leader last night. When he said, “we have the strongest economy in the world, the world, the world.” See, that is all you need to do. The hell with the actual facts, just Joey doing what he does best…….pathologically lying! Some have even said this would apply to your tabloid as well as WAPO, CNN, MSNBC, network news….well you get the idea.

Remember to deflect, omit and if that fails, just lie. Amazing how some can look themselves in the mirror, eh Joey. Of course, I’m talking about white supremacist’s.

‘Printing the news that is fit to print.” Absolutely hilarious!!

Sincerely,

Chris Cirino

CALIFORNIA: Newsom Intervenes Drops All Drunk Driving Charges Against Paul Pelosi thumbnail

CALIFORNIA: Newsom Intervenes Drops All Drunk Driving Charges Against Paul Pelosi

By The Geller Report

This is third world corruption.

Driving drunk, Paul Pelosi nearly killed a family. And purportedly killed his brother in a car accident some decades ago.

If Newsom wins re-election, California deserves to suffer his reign.

Nancy Pelosi’s husband killed his brother in 1957 car crash

Details of the fatal wreck emerged in the wake of Paul’s arrest following his alleged drunken crash in Napa Valley on Saturday night.

Paul — who has been married to the House speaker since 1963 — was charged with one count of driving under the influence and another for driving with a blood alcohol content level of 0.08 or higher. Both charges are misdemeanors.

BREAKING: All charges have reportedly been dropped against Paul Pelosi for his DUI crash

Gavin Newsom reportedly intervened at the request of Nancy Pelosi and directly ordered the California Highway Patrol to drop all charges.

Meaninglessness in Art thumbnail

Meaninglessness in Art

By Jerry Newcombe

A recent visit to a museum of modern art got me thinking about how much of it is meaningless.

Ecclesiastes begins with these famous words: “Vanity of vanities…All is vanity.” All is meaningless.

As a book in the Bible, Ecclesiastes is a terrific precursor to the Gospel of Christ. It shows us how life apart from God has no ultimate purpose. Ecclesiastes shows our great need for Jesus, who by His broken body and shed blood has purchased peace with God and everlasting life, which He has made available to all who believe.

But, alas, much of modern art today reflects a nihilistic worldview. Much of art today is just “vanity of vanities.”

Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Some modern art is interesting, but how is a painting with an eye over here and a leg over there and a grotesque uglifying of the human form “art”?

Every time I see eyesores that pass for modern art—for instance, the weird sculptures prominently displayed at some airports—I think, “That artist must be laughing all the way to the bank.” My wife adds, “Why should they call it art when a three-year-old could create it?”

Dr. Jeff Myers, president of Summit Ministries, which teaches a Christian worldview to youth, has written an upcoming book, Truth Changes Everything. For this article, he gave me a sneak peek of the art chapter and permission to quote him.

Myers writes: “I appreciate many works of modern art, but often I’m left wondering what it was about that previous age that give us Michelangelo’s David, while our age’s ‘famous’ works include Marcel Duchamp’s 1917 display of a urinal, entitled ‘Fountain,’ symbolizing that everything is waste to be flushed away. It is impossible not to notice the difference. Today’s attention-getting art exhibits often feature blank canvases or galleries scattered with random objects. According to postmodern author Glenn Ward, this is not a lack of skill, but an intentional effort to ‘disrupt bourgeois fantasies about art.’”

Because our elite class has rejected God, they are left with a purposeless, absurd universe—and their art and writings reek of despair. Such a worldview isn’t creative—it’s anti-creative.

By contrast, our country was created on a couple of key ideas, fashioned by concepts found in the Bible:

  • There is a God, our Creator, who is the source of our being and rights.
  • He has revealed what is right and wrong.
  • There will be a test at the end of life for each of us, when we give an account to Him.

The New England Primer sold 120 million copies and was used as a textbook for several decades. This little book taught many of our founding fathers how to read and even taught them theology. It included the Westminster Shorter Catechism, which is used to this day in many Presbyterian and Reformed churches.

The opening of that catechism famously says: “Q. What is the chief end of man? A. Man’s chief end is to glorify God and enjoy him forever.”

Life with God has meaning. Life without God is meaningless.

One time I interviewed a former agnostic psychology professor and author, Dr. Paul Ackerman, who used to believe life was meaningless. He said, “If I just came from hydrogen and I’ve just evolved up from grunting apes, I am in principle a very complex chemical reaction. We are the result of simply random processes. Then it’s very hard to logically find any meaning in the concept of mind. I used to teach my students that mind—-well, ‘you don’t have a mind.’”

Ackerman said, “I was a student, went off to college, and evolutionism/humanism stole or robbed me of my existence; and I lived for a period of let’s say four years or five years not existing. And non-existing is hell. It was a very painful, horrible thing. I was meaningless.”

Later Ackerman had a crisis. He lost a son in a car accident, and his philosophy of meaninglessness could not cope with the loss. For the first time in his adult life, he prayed. And God answered those prayers, and ultimately Paul became a Christian and regained meaning to life. He told me, “You throw God out, and you lose the meaning of man.”

Life without the Lord is described well by Shakespeare in Macbeth:

Life’s but a walking shadow

A poor player [actor]

That struts and frets

His hour upon the stage

And then is heard no more.

It is a tale told by an idiot,

full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

But ultimately, life does have meaning. As Jesus once put it, “I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.” Sadly, many of our cultural institutions have rejected that truth. And so they churn out ugly art that is “vanity of vanities.”

Tips on Pumping Gas that Will Save You $$$! thumbnail

Tips on Pumping Gas that Will Save You $$$!

By Scott Adams

I don’t know what you guys are paying for gasoline…. but here in California we are paying up to $5.75 to $7 per gallon. My line of work is in petroleum for about 31 years now, so here are some tricks to get more of your money’s worth for every gallon:

Here at the Kinder Morgan Pipeline where I work in San Jose , CA we deliver about 4 million gallons in a 24-hour period thru the pipeline. One day is diesel the next day is jet fuel, and gasoline, regular and premium grades. We have 34-storage tanks here with a total capacity of 16,800,000 gallons.

1️⃣ Only buy or fill up your car or truck in the early morning when the ground temperature is still cold. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried below ground. The colder the ground the more dense the gasoline, when it gets warmer gasoline expands, so buying in the afternoon or in the evening….your gallon is not exactly a gallon. In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and the temperature of the gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, ethanol and other petroleum products plays an important role.

2️⃣ A 1-degree rise in temperature is a big deal for this business. But the service stations do not have temperature compensation at the pumps.

3️⃣ When you’re filling up do not squeeze the trigger of the nozzle to a fast mode If you look you will see that the trigger has three (3) stages: low, middle, and high. You should be pumping on low mode, thereby minimizing the vapors that are created while you are pumping. All hoses at the pump have a vapor return. If you are pumping on the fast rate, some of the liquid that goes to your tank becomes vapor. Those vapors are being sucked up and back into the underground storage tank so you’re getting less worth for your money.

4️⃣ One of the most important tips is to fill up when your gas tank is HALF FULL. The reason for this is the more gas you have in your tank the less air occupying its empty space. Gasoline evaporates faster than you can imagine. Gasoline storage tanks have an internal floating roof. This roof serves as zero clearance between the gas and the atmosphere, so it minimizes the evaporation. Unlike service stations, here where I work, every truck that we load is temperature compensated so that every gallon is actually the exact amount.

5️⃣ Another reminder, if there is a gasoline truck pumping into the storage tanks when you stop to buy gas, DO NOT fill up; most likely the gasoline is being stirred up as the gas is being delivered, and you might pick up some of the dirt that normally settles on the bottom.

6️⃣ Note: If the pump repeatedly shuts off early, it could be a sign of a problem with the vapor recovery system, such as a clogged carbon canister.

Rectifying George Floyd Mania thumbnail

Rectifying George Floyd Mania

By The Daily Skirmish – Liberato.US

Liberal San Franciscans threw out Progressive DA Chesa Boudin yesterday.  It wasn’t even close – 60-40.  Good riddance to bad garbage.  It also brings me joy that more than a few of George Soros’ Benjamins went down the drain yesterday.  Mister Chaos has spent $40 million to elect 75 criminal justice crazies as prosecutors-who-won’t-prosecute across the country in the last 10 years.  George Soros really is the devil, as the Soros document leak a few years ago so copiously documented.  If anyone wants to challenge me on that statement, bring it on.  I’m loaded for bear.

With the spawn of the devil out of the way in San Francisco, residents can start reclaiming their city from the smash-and-grab artists and the perps who have been brutally attacking Asians.

But more work remains to be done in reclaiming the criminal justice system from the social justice crazies who were able to hijack it after George Floyd-induced mania got cities to defund the police.  This was a crazy policy now repudiated in several places.  George Floyd mania also allowed Black Lives Matter to rule the roost and get street murals painted in their honor.  BLM is now in tatters after financial scandals exposed it as a get-rich-quick scheme for its organizers – Build Large Mansions indeed, several at a time.

Work remains to be done in Seattle which defunded the police and gave a green light to rioters to take over city blocks for a lawless autonomous zone.  Robberies went up 30 percent and violent crime overall spiked 32 percent after Seattle politicians defunded the police.  One thing that needs to be fixed in Washington is the state’s new law limiting vehicle pursuit by police to cases of probable cause for specific crimes.  The restriction has emboldened criminals not to stop when being chased and has even caused hundreds of ordinary people to refuse to pull over when they should be getting a speeding ticket.  Things are out of whack.

But there are signs of hope.  More people are recognizing the pendulum has swung too far in favor of criminals and the Woke social justice mob that coddles them.  As I mentioned earlier and documented in previous commentaries, several cities have confessed error and re-funded their police departments.  Illinois passed a new law targeting smash-and-grab robberies.  New York is considering bringing back cash bail in some cases.  The liberal New York Times admitted crime is out of control and it’s people of color who are demanding something be done about it.  New York City Mayor Eric Adams called on residents to fund and support the police, a clear rebuke to Democrat AOC who is out to lunch on this issue like so much of her party, the Party of Chaos.  A vote for the Democrats is a vote for mayhem, as is now plain for all to see.

The nation got drunk on George Floyd.  It’s a tragedy what happened to him, but people binged on Woke criminal justice reform after his death and are finally starting to deal with the bad hangover their drinking to excess has caused.  Nothing like brazen smash-and-grab robberies and deadly subway shootings to focus the mind.

New York Times and Gun Control thumbnail

New York Times and Gun Control

By Christopher Cirino

TO: Joe Kahn

Managing Editor

New York Times

Good morning Joey,

I hope today finds you well. May I say, a job well done with today’s headlines. Not a mention of the great unifier (sans Barack Hussein) Beijing Biden…..again! I think your grasp of deflection/omission is absolutely fantastic. Deano (highly moral journalist) the former Executor Editor, has trained you well. Good boy. Let’s take a look at some of the hot topics in today’s tabloid. Here is what Conservatives think of what I consider your highly moral approach to journalistic integrity. Those kill joys, using factual data. The nerve.

What’s not to Like?

The “INSURRECTION!” No not the one on November 3, 2020, the one orchestrated on 1/6/21. Is Nancy still withholding video tapes……any reason for that, especially if she is demanding justice. Care to weigh in on that one Joey Kahn? At least you don’t keep your quiet thoughts to yourself champ. You actually print that you hope this sways voters in the primaries. I don’t know Joey boy, I think people might have other things on their minds, things like:

  • $5 a gallon gasoline, no matter how many times the village idiot installed in the White House calls it “Putin’s Price Hike.”
  • highest inflation in over 40 years, strangling low income(protected class of Democrats, wink, wink)and the middle class. This does not apply to Chardonnay Pelosi and her husband DUI Pelosi, obviously. An 82 year old driving drunk (allegedly alone) in a Porsche…….embarrassing.
  • daily shooting (massacres) by revolving door justice Progressive Democratic district attorney’s. By the way, did you hear about the recall vote on San Francisco’s DA? Isn’t that Chardonnay’s neck of the woods?
  • absolute chaos at our southern border. A truly treasonous event, and hopefully those who orchestrated this are punished to the full extend of the law, eventually. This of course will depend on the voting ballot variant waiting in the wings.
  • trying to blame legal gun owners for all shooting events, while conveniently failing to mention the almost daily minority on minority massacres perpetuated on each another.
  • babies going hungry in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, while Joey Bidenflation says once again it is not his fault, he was kept out of the loop. Very Presidential indeed!
  • the White House constantly having to clean up the first installed dementia patient (Susan Rice’s puppet, via Barry) gaffes. The village idiot is the laughingstock to world leaders.

On that note, did you hear the latest about Joey—that Saudi Arabia and Mexican leaders have told Talibiden to pound sand and refused to meet with him. Any mention of that in your tabloid? I couldn’t find any…..shocking!

Well, as you can see Joey Kahn, as much as you and those other credible stalwarts, like CNN, MSNBC, WAPO, even those angelic ladies on The View, beg people to tune in to this staged attempt to sway voters— I believe people are a bit busy working to put food on the table and gas in their cars. You should consider doing a article or two on rampant inflation……just a thought. Some people are calling this deflection attempt incredibly desperate……I actually find it hilarious—-such integrity. I mean come on Joey: Harvard, Columbia and this is the best you got? Deano I could understand, a college dropout, but you with your pedigree……..I expect more from you Joey boy.

Speaking of Gun Control

While gun control seems to be all the rage lately, have any of your investigative “reporters” looked into Hunter Biden’s (crack addict/famous artist) recent reveled videos? Maybe get Matty Rosenberg (just tell him , no interviews in any bars!) or Kenny Vogel of American Greed fame on the case.

It seems the houseplants son is shown walking around naked waving a gun in the company of a hooker. We don’t think the lovely lady is his brothers widow, but it cannot be confirmed. Have any of your investigative “reporters,” been on this story. Or is this not newsworthy? Hey, just pretend it is one of elected President Trump’s kids. I would venture to say, you might have a thing to say then…..right Joey boy? There is that journalistic integrity again. You could even work in that President Trump is a racist angle somewhere….see, win, win.

Hey how about the time they found Hunter’s (famous Navy hero) discarded gun……in a trash can, right by a high school. No moral outrage from your tabloid? Doesn’t a crack addict have to reveal this drug issue on the gun purchase. DOJ, CIA, FBI, seem to know nothing about it. They also said they have some beachfront property in Kansas, if your interested. Care to weigh in Joey (Biden or Kahn).

How much money (I believe it is $30,000 a month) do taxpayers spend on security to keep him off the pipe or offing his disgraced self? Again, just pretend it’s elected President Trump’s kids. You get the idea Joey.

Integrity, yep journalistic integrity just oozes from your tabloid. How does it feel to be the Captain of this ship Joey Kahn old sport? Does the end justify the means? You know, anything goes , as long as it fits the narrative. As long as you can look yourself in the mirror HONESTLY and except you are doing the righteous and honest thing……that is all that matters. Of course, you have to be honest and not lie to yourself, just to enjoy a nice title and a hefty paycheck from Slushy Berger.

Lastly, are you going to have any coverage of how Beijing Biden is the proverbial lapdog of the CCP. There seems to be some rumors with him being compromised due to………..you guessed it, Hunter! I reached out to the FBI and they said , “nothing to see here, move along.” I haven’t seen anything in months regarding China in your unbiased, apolitical, ethical tabloid…….just shocking!

Remember, “printing the news that is fit to print.” Absolutely hilarious, thanks for the morning chuckles, every morning, without fail. You guys are too funny. You do know that…right?

Sincerely,

Chris Cirino

AOC Slams Congress as ‘Corrupt,’ Full of Decay, Moral Emptiness thumbnail

AOC Slams Congress as ‘Corrupt,’ Full of Decay, Moral Emptiness

By Discover The Networks

Radical Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) slammed Congress on Saturday for being corrupt and full of “so much decay and moral emptiness” after failing to pass radical policies to “fundamentally transform” the country, as Barack Obama once put it so ominously.

“It’s just really wild to be a person that works in a corrupt institution, which is what Congress is,” AOC stated. “And to try and be a normal person surrounded by so much decay and moral emptiness — that frankly transcends party — is very difficult.”

Her lament comes after her fellow radicals failed to convince the Senate to pass the socialist “Build Back Better” package, thanks largely to moderate Democrat holdout Sen. Joe Manchin.

“It should not surprise anyone that Senator Joe Manchin went on Fox News to kill the Build Back Better Act — he’s been promising to do it for months, and some folks did not want to believe him,” AOC’s fellow “Squad” leftist Rep. Rashida Tlaib complained at the time.

Whether AOC qualifies as “a normal person,” as she put it, is a topic for another day, but it’s worth noting that conservatives and AOC finally agree on something: Congress is corrupt and morally empty.

Identifying “White Supremacy” As the Leading Cause of “Domestic Terrorism”

In late May 2022, Ocasio-Cortez said: “You look at FBI statistics, which under-report hate crimes. Police statistics, which also under-rep — even all the institutions that under-report hate crimes still has [sic] white supremacist groups as by farby far the leading driver of domestic terrorism in the United States. And that’s with all the generosity that they get from under-reporting. It’s not even close.”

Was George Floyd a Psyops? thumbnail

Was George Floyd a Psyops?

By Save America Foundation

Foreword by Fred Brownbill. This article was written by a great friend of many years, Kenny E. It is thought provoking and falls into my firm belief of the many false flag events committed by the Obama and Biden administrationsLet me know your thoughts on the subject of this felons demise and if you feel that there is some truth in this story! You can comment here or to me privately. Here we go ……

Regarding the subject of George Floyd . . .

I witnessed this myself.

I’m an airline pilot by trade – and have been for most of the past 20+ years.  I’ve flown both domestic and international.  When you do this job for this long, you tend to learn what ‘normal’ is in the (seemingly) endless number of cities we overnight it.  One thing about knowing what ‘normal’ is – it’s easy to spot ‘abnormal’ when you see it.

A thought recently hit me . . . and compelled me to do a little research.  You see, I was flying at a charter airline during the time of the Floyd incident.  I was flying a corporate jet, and things were anything but normal at the time.  Fear of covid-19 was near its peak, and as a result few were traveling on commercial airlines.  Hotels were mostly empty (at least the ones that stayed open), and the ones that were open were limiting the number of floors that remained in operation.   On May 7th, we flew a family home to Minneapolis from Florida.  When we landed in Minneapolis, our company told us there were no other flights scheduled for us – and to check into a hotel.  Our company allows its pilots to book their own hotel rooms – and gave us a general ‘rule’ as far as the cost for the room.  We typically stay at decent hotels – but rarely anything extravagant.  Since the demand that week was almost non-existent, prices plummeted at even the nicest hotels.  For that reason, we booked ourselves at one of the top end hotels near the MSP airport.

We ended up staying at this fancy hotel for nearly a week before we received orders to fly another charter.  During our week at this hotel, we were the ONLY two rooms being occupied for the first couple of nights . . . but later in the week, things changed dramatically.  Despite this hotel having (roughly) a dozen floors, only two consecutive floors were being used.  As I walked down the hallway on my floor one day I noticed a VERY strong odor of marjuana.  There was literally a cloud of blue smoke that covered the entire hallway on my floor.  Later, as I was in the hotel’s elevator, several occupants from the rooms on my floor were waiting to take the elevator.  They were all male, approximately 20-25 years old . . . and clearly belonged to inner-city gangs.

I grew up in Los Angeles in the 70’s and 80’s . . . so I know what street gang members look like.  Between the clothing, the (specific) tattoos, the body language, etc – I learned at a young age who to avoid.  And why.

As it turned out, both floors were occupied with these individuals.  For timeline purposes, it was almost a week before George Floyd would be ‘arrested’ by local police.  And we were just a few miles from where the incident would take place.

My colleague and I flew that day – and ended up in Detroit for the night.  Michigan – like Minnesota – was on a self-imposed lock-down.  We found an above-average hotel just outside of Detroit – and booked it for the night.  To our surprise, it was also filled with gang-banger-types . . .  just like the hotel in Minneapolis.  What I found even more odd was that – even with our pilot uniforms on – the gang-bangers would not make eye contact with us as we crossed paths in the hotel.  My colleague and I are both white males in our fifties – all the gang-bangers we encountered at both hotels were black.

So here we were – literally one week from THE watershed event that obviously my colleague nor I knew was coming.  It was an event that would ostensibly (and allegedly) spark an outbreak of ‘spontaneous’ riots in the streets in (mostly) large cities throughout America.  It was an event that would be shoved down our throats from the moment it (allegedly) happened.

But THEY knew.  In twenty-plus years of spending half of my work-week in hotels, I was seeing something I had never seen before.  Street-gang thugs were being staged in (mostly) empty hotels – and in this case . . . high-end hotels.  This all took place in the two weeks leading up to the George Floyd incident.  I also spoke to several pilots and flight attendants at commercial airlines who said these same ‘types’ were on their flights leading up to May 24th, 2020 (the date of the Floyd incident).

This is no conspiracy theory . . . I actually watched it happen.  So what REALLY took place as George Floyd was being arrested?  Was the whole thing staged?  Parts of it?

Who knew about it?  Who paid for the logistics in getting all the gang-bangers transported, lodged and fed?

And how did they keep them quiet?

This was clearly a HUGE undertaking.

I keep going back to the speech Obama made to a crowd of SEIU members – shortly before being inaugurated in 2009 . . . the one where he said he will assemble a CIVILIAN army that is every bit as well-funded as our military . . . and equally well-trained.

It would appear that he achieved his goal . . .
