In Florida Public School Students Will Learn About the Dangers of Communism

“Communist tyranny has already resulted in 100,000,000 victims.” — Governor Ron DeSantis

Ron DeSantis, the governor of Florida, signed a law this week that will require Florida public schools to educate students about the history and dangers of communism, both in the U.S. and in other countries, and about the growing threat of communism in the U.S. now.

“We are going to tell the truth about the unprecedented death toll of the 20th century at the hands of communist tyranny – 100 million people killed by communist regimes, which spread to China, the Soviet Union, Cuba…” said Ron DeSantis.

‘The Final Battle for the Holocaust. In Gaza, Israel is not only fighting for our future, but also for our past.’ by Michael Oren

By The Geller Report

This perceptive article by Michael Oren, among other things, describes the kind of mental gymnastics combined with a deliberate misrepresentation of the historical facts mobilized by Jew-haters of all stripes to portray Israel as a determined aggressor in her relationship to her Arab Palestinian citizens in particular and the Arab Palestinians in general.

There is no grievance real or imagined that could possibly justify the horrific genocidal attack on Israel by Hamas on October 7th. This is an absolute statement that admits to no moral relativism and cannot be applied on a sliding scale which is why Israel must utterly destroy every last vestige of the Hamas regime and bring its leaders to justice one way or another.

In Gaza, Israel is not only fighting for our future, but also for our past.

By: Michael Oren, Apr 04, 2024

Along with destroying Hamas and reestablishing our security, the great unspoken objective of Israel in Gaza is restoring our self-proclaimed role as the keeper of the six million’s memory and the guarantor of “never again.” At stake is not only Israel’s future but, in a very real sense, our past. And yet, even as Israelis have frequently referenced it, the war has posed the ultimate challenge yet to our right to speak in the name of, and have recourse to, the Holocaust.

When, in July 2018, the Israeli government held a reception for Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, I declined to attend. As Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office dealing with diplomacy, it was only fitting that I be among those receiving him, yet I wouldn’t. The reason had nothing to do with Orbán’s support for Israel, which was ironclad, or his willingness to oppose the European Union’s ceaseless hounding of the Jewish state. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s campaign to whittle away the 28-nation consensus that the EU needed to condemn us certainly made strategic sense. And while the Hungarian strongman’s efforts to dismantle parts of his country’s democracy discomforted me, far more draconian measures by Russian, Arab, and Chinese leaders had not moved me to boycott them. My problem, rather, lay with Orbán’s relationship to the Holocaust—he and his neo-fascist party had praised Hungarian collaborators with the Nazis—and the danger that posed to Israel’s security.

Along with the IDF, the Mossad, and the Shin Bet, the Holocaust is an essential component in Israel’s defense. Very few countries in history ever confronted genuine existential threats—Japan and Germany in World War II set out to defeat, not destroy, the United States—but Israel has faced several, simultaneously and daily, since its creation. Conversely, while the U.S. determined to defeat the Nazis and the Imperial Japanese, it did not seek to wipe Germany and Japan off the map but to restore their peaceful place in world affairs. Egypt, Syria, and Jordan, by contrast, once strove to annihilate Israel entirely, and Iran and its proxies—Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis—still do today. And when Israel acts to protect itself from these existential threats, the Holocaust joins its F-35 jets and Merkava tanks as a major defensive asset. “As a people which has suffered and survived an attempted genocide,” we declare, “Israel has the right to use extraordinary means to prevent its recurrence.” By providing a moral tailwind the Holocaust provides time and space for those jets and tanks to act.

The Holocaust is hardwired into our nuclear facility in Dimona.

Preserving the memory of the Holocaust is, therefore, a strategic national interest for Israel, one that we would be tragically negligent to harm. Establishing warm relations with Orbán’s Hungary or with Austria’s ultra-rightist Former Chancellor Sebastian Kurz or with the Polish government that denied its country’s complicity in the mass murder of Jews may have short-term diplomatic benefits but at an irretrievable strategic cost. By selling our Holocaust birthright expediently, we risk forfeiting our past and jeopardizing our future.

We also chip away at the nation’s roots. Israel’s Declaration of Independence cited the Holocaust as a basic justification of the state, and Israel thereafter arrogated the role as the prime repository of the Holocaust’s legacy: “The Nazi holocaust which engulfed millions of Jews in Europe proved anew the urgency of the re-establishment of the Jewish state, which would solve the problem of Jewish homelessness by opening the gate to all Jews and lifting the Jewish people to equality in the family of nations.” This claim enabled Israel, in 1952, to accept hundreds of millions of dollars in German reparations to the Jewish people and, nine years later, to try and execute Nazi mass murderer Adolf Eichmann. Yad Vashem, Israel’s World Holocaust Remembrance Center, became first stop of every foreign dignitary’s visit to Jerusalem. The message was clear: “This is what can happen without an independent, defendable, Jewish state.”

Israel’s claim to exclusivity didn’t last long, though. By the 1970s, Holocaust memorials, many with a universalist message, were inaugurated in Washington, DC and other capitals, and Holocaust Studies programs sprouted on American campuses. Hollywood seized on this interest by producing blockbuster movies and television series—so many, in fact, that conventional wisdom held that a Holocaust theme was a surefire path to an Oscar. As Israel’s ambassador to the United States, the most important speech I gave annually was to the leaders of Congress and the administration assembled in the Capitol building for Holocaust Remembrance Day.

But along with the rising challenges to Israel’s claim to the Holocaust legacy came assaults on the Holocaust itself, and not just from the David Irving-esque deniers. Scholars such as Yale historian Timothy Snyder and journalist Isabell Wilkerson sought to contextualize the Holocaust by linking it to other Eastern European massacres or comparing it with other racially based injustices. Young American Jews, raised in a victimhood-equals-virtue environment, became increasingly reluctant to cite the Holocaust’s uniqueness, and to challenge the Palestinians’ attempts to liken it to the 1948 Nakba.

The Palestinians, meanwhile, keenly aware of its contributions to the creation and protection of Israel, assailed the Holocaust in multiple ways. Many echoed the longstanding Arab claim—first presented to President Roosevelt by King ibn Saud in 1945—that Palestine was simply the place where Europe dumped those Jews it failed to kill in the camps. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas went from downplaying the Holocaust (one million dead, not six) in his Soviet university doctoral thesis of 1982, to, last year, both minimalizing the Holocaust and insisting that the Jews brought it on themselves. “When Hitler perpetrated the Holocaust, he had obvious reasons,” Fatah Official Yasser Aby Sido, echoing Abbas, recently explained. “They were plotting to take over Germany.”

For a great number of Palestinians, acknowledging the Holocaust was tantamount to recognizing Israel’s legitimacy and negating the importance of the Nakba. Accordingly, in 2009, PA officials shut down a Palestinian youth orchestra after it performed for Holocaust survivors. In 2014, al-Quds University forced the resignation of American Studies professor Mohammed Dajani after he led a delegation of West Bank Palestinians to Auschwitz.

In general, the Palestinians and their supporters have focused less on denying or even justifying the Holocaust and more on painting Israel as the new Nazi Germany and the Palestinians as the new Jews. The Palestinians, in the words of Edward Said, were “the victims of the victims.” Other Palestinians adopted the pledge “Never Again,” and turned it against Israel. “This…desperate cry…is pointed to the descendants of those Jewish victims of Nazi terror who now inflict on the indigenous people of Palestine a crime equally horrendous,” proclaimed the introduction to the book The Plight of the Palestinians, published in 2010. It accused Israel of emulating the Nazis in perpetrating “a prolonged, merciless attempt to erase a people from their land by whatever force is needed.”

The equation Israel=Nazis, Palestinians=Jews, which might be abhorrent to neo-Nazis, gained increasing traction among Israel’s critics, among them a growing number of Jews. Princeton professor Richard Falk, musician Gilad Atzmon, Holocaust survivor Hedy Epstein—all have compared Zionism to Nazism. Jewish writers Primo Levi and Jean Améry both expressed the fear that, by citing the Holocaust to justify its brutal military operations, Israel was in danger of resembling Nazi Germany—a fear that Israeli theologian Yeshayahu Leibowitz upgraded into a condemnation of Israel’s “Nazification.” Political scientist Norman Finklestein began his lifelong assault on Israel protesting the 1982 siege of Beirut with a sign demanding, “Israeli Nazis – Stop the Holocaust in Lebanon!”

Still, none of these developments had the least impact on Israel. From the sabras who, in the 1950s, disdained those who “went like sheep to the slaughter” and labeled those who survived “sabonim”—soaps—Israelis came to embrace the legacy of the Holocaust. “The alternative to fighting is Treblinka, and we have resolved that there would be no Treblinkas”—so Prime Minister Menachem Begin justified Israel’s invasion of Lebanon in 1982. For high schoolers, a pilgrimage to Auschwitz, draped in the Israeli flag, became a pre-army ritual, while the dwindling number and plight of survivors regularly made national news. Every government office, including my own in Washington, boasted the photo of the three Star of David-emblazoned F-15’s flyover of Auschwitz in 2003. Israel, quipped New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman, was in danger of becoming “Yad Vashem with an air force.”

Friedman failed to understand the depth of Zionism’s victory over victimhood, though the enlistment of the Holocaust in Israel’s defense, once implicit, had grown increasingly manifest. Defying the mounting attempts to impugn Israel’s right to harness the Holocaust in its battle against existential threats, Israeli leaders now adamantly asserted it. “The Jewish people have learned the lessons of the Holocaust,” Prime Minister Netanyahu declared on Holocaust Remembrance Day in 2020, “always to take seriously the threats of those who seek our destruction [and] always to have the power to defend ourselves by ourselves. We have learned that Israel must always remain the master of its fate.”

Those very lessons were lost a mere four years later, on the morning of October 7. Seen through the prism of the Holocaust, the trauma of the Hamas onslaught was excruciatingly magnified. An avowedly genocidal organization enamored of Hitler had perpetrated the greatest single slaughter of Jews since World War II. Not surprisingly, Netanyahu compared the massacre at the Nova Festival to that of Babi Yar and the kibbutz children who hid for their lives to Anne Frank. Gilad Erdan, Israel’s ambassador to the UN, pinned a yellow “Jude” star to his lapel. Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett declared, “we are facing a Nazi conception.”
Billboard in Tel Aviv (@the_civil_front on X/Twitter)

“We stand here as men who refute their Jewishness and the Holocaust being hijacked by an occupation which has led to conflict for so many innocent people,” announced filmmaker Jonathan Glazer upon winning an academy award for “Zone of Interest,” a biopic about Auschwitz commander Rudolf Höss. The import of the maker of a Holocaust movie stripping Israel of the power to wield the Holocaust in its defense was not lost on the Oscar audience, which avidly applauded Glazer’s statement.

Writing in The New Yorker, Masha Gessen put a finer point on Glazer’s accusation, likening Gaza to the Warsaw Ghetto. “The term “ghetto” would have …given us the language to describe what is happening in Gaza now. The ghetto is being liquidated.” Like Glazer, a Jew, Gessen notes how the Nazis built the ghettos to protect non-Jews from “Jewish diseases,” much as Israel created the Gaza ghetto to protect Jews from Palestinian threats. “Both claims,” she concludes, “propose that an occupying authority can…isolate, immiserate—and, now, mortally endanger—an entire population…the name of protecting its own.”

Gessen’s comparison of Gaza with the Warsaw Ghetto was echoed by Colombian President Gustavo Petro while Vladamir Putin equated Israel’s offensive to the Nazi siege of Leningrad. “In the past they were massacring the Jewish people in the gas chambers,” railed Turkish President Erdoğan. “A similar mentality is being shown [by Israel] in Gaza today.” The social media were rife with posts drawing parallels between Israel and the Third Reich and accusations that the Jews are emulating the Nazis in perpetrating genocide in Gaza.

Yet these themes were hardly confined to the Web. In a lengthy essay published in the prestigious London Review of Books, Indian writer Pankaj Mishra argues that the war in Gaza is, in fact, a struggle over the Holocaust. Its memory, though sullied by Israel, is upheld by the millions of pro-Palestinian protesters demonstrating “against savagery.” Their actions will eventually overcome Israeli propaganda, Mishra predicts, and “go some way towards redeeming the memory of the Shoah.”

Mishra’s voice is hardly lone. Podcaster and wrestler Joe Rogan recently claimed that Israel’s actions in Gaza amounted to Israel “saying that genocide is okay as long as we’re doing it.” Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula said Israel’s war in Gaza was unparalleled in history except when “Hitler decided to kill the Jews.” Chris Williamson, of the British Labour Party, called Gaza a “concentration camp” and characterized Israel as “worse than the Nazis.”

Call it Holocaust decoupling or Holocaust severance, but a global movement is now mounting to cut the ties between the Jewish State and the Final Solution and deny the former the ability to adduce the latter in its defense. Europeans, in particular, are welcoming this trend as an opportunity to at last escape the Holocaust’s burden, and even Germany is purportedly reexamining its initial support for Israel’s policies in Gaza. The slogan, “Never again,” is being appropriated from Israel and, according to Mishra, replaced by the universal, “Never Again for Anyone.”

As soon as this war is concluded, once Israel succeeds in defeating Hamas and begins the process of demilitarizing, deradicalizing, and reconstructing Gaza, we must embark on a quest to reclaim the Holocaust from those who seek to detach us from it and even use it against us. While parts of the world may now contest that ownership, we must nevertheless uphold and preserve it if for ourselves and generations of Israelis to come. We must think twice before squandering our legacy—selling our birthright—for potentially short-term benefits. Girded once more in our past, we can fight more effectively, more morally, for our future.

‘America Needs To Bomb Iran’ — Dr. Mike Evans

By NEWSRAEL Telling the Israeli Story

How do you deal with Iran when it intends to take out Israel with a nuclear bomb? There’s only one way this can be prevented: A preemptive strike on Iran by America.

Israel experienced a preemptive attack upon its nation, which was the worst massacre in its history by Iranian proxy Hamas, carried out with Iranian arms and funded by Iran. It opened Pandora’s box, forcing Israel to fight a war for its survival, knowing that without it, there would be many more attacks like October 7 or worse.

The new twenty-first-century wars are proxy wars, but they are also media wars.

ISRAEL CANNOT WIN A MEDIA WAR

It’s only a question of time before the United Nations global club of Zionist haters will turn international public opinion against Israel with the assistance of the media.

ISRAEL CANNOT WIN AN ECONOMIC WAR

It’s a tiny country the size of New Jersey, with its residents from the north and south displaced and its citizens at war. The economic damage to the country is massive. Iran has a much bigger proxy in Lebanon with more than double the terrorists than Hamas has and more than 10 times the missiles than Hamas has, and much more sophisticated.

Iran has been waging a war against the “Little Satan” Israel for decades. October 7 was Israel’s Pearl Harbor, in which Iran decided to move to a much greater extreme. Iran has been waging a war against the “Great Satan” America for decades also. On October 23, 1983, I preached the gospel to the Marines in Beirut, giving them the Christmas gift of a small Bible.

A young soldier, 18, from Worcester, Massachusetts, asked me if I could send a message to his mom. So, I had my camera crew tape it. He said, “Dear Mom, I know you’ve been praying for me. I won’t be coming home for Christmas. But I have a Christmas gift for you. I’ve just accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. Merry Christmas, Mom.”

That Marine and 240 others were dead in the morning. I slept on the beach that night.

Since then, Iran has conducted ongoing attacks on numerous countries in a long-term effort to exert influence in the region. A 2021 State Department report observed that in that year alone, “Iran pursued or supported terrorist attacks against Israeli targets in 2021, including a thwarted January plot to attack an Israeli embassy in East Africa, a January bomb attack outside the Israeli embassy in New Delhi for which the Indian government said the IRGC-QF was responsible, and a disrupted attempt to attack an Israeli businessman in Cyprus.”

According to a CBS News report, the United States presently has the USS Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group in the Red Sea south of Israel, including an array of weapons and 5,000 sailors. The US also has a nuclear power Ohio-class submarine in the area, the Ford Carrier Strike Group in the Mediterranean Sea, which includes three ballistic missile defense ships and four additional warships in the Mediterranean.

In addition, the Pentagon has deployed 1,200 additional troops to the Middle East since October 7. The forces are a deterrent for protecting 45,000 US service members and contractors throughout the Middle East.   Iran has attacked US troops over 40 times since October 7. A reported 56 US military personnel have been injured. The US has responded with three sets of strikes so far in Syria. with airstrikes in Syria, with more likely to come.

Everyone is worrying about where this could lead. The reality is that there is no question where this will lead. It’s only a matter of time until Iran’s more powerful proxy is authorized to attack Israel fully. Hezbollah, since October 7, has fired over 1,000 rockets into Israel. Six IDF soldiers and three Israeli civilians have been killed so far.

This will put Israel’s back up against a wall. In every Israeli Air Force barracks, there is a picture they have to pass before leaving. The picture is a picture of Auschwitz and the railroad tracks with the words, “We, the Israeli Air Force pilots, fly in the skies over the camp of atrocities. But we’ve risen from the ashes of the millions of victims, and we carry their silent cry. We salute their courage and pledge to serve as the defenders of the Jewish people and the State of Israel.”

The Brigadier General who hosted me that day, Tomer Bar, wrote in the picture, “The voice of the thunder was in the heaven. The earth trembled and shook” Psalm 28:19.

October 7 flushed the smoke of Auschwitz into the soul of the nation of Israel, creating trauma that Israel has never experienced and waking them up to a stark reality. A lot of Israelis were peaceniks. In the kibbutz, where I was invited by the foreign minister of Israel, Eli Cohen, as he hosted the Foreign Minister of Ireland and other dignitaries, many Israelis were burned alive, beheaded, and raped.

America’s facing a presidential election in 2024. It was once a famous saying, “It’s the economy, stupid.” Now, the reality is that the priority is Iran. “It’s Iran, stupid.” Israel is going to have to face an Iran terror state that will have an atomic bomb before the next presidential election in November 2024.

If Hitler had an atomic bomb, the world would be speaking German. Iran is a terrorist state driven by Mullahs with an obsession to usher in the Mahdi, the twelfth descendant of Muhammad, through an apocalypse, believing that the moment the apocalypse happens, and he is resurrected, the entire world will bow down and become an Islamic caliphate.

They boldly said their intentions of what they were doing to Israel. Iran’s supreme leader has called Israel a “cancerous tumor” that “will undoubtedly be uprooted and destroyed.” It’s not a question of if. It’s a question of when Israel will be forced to attack Iran, but that apocalyptic date has been pushed up because of October 7. Israel is faced with an existential dilemma. Iran has a partner now, Russia, and, for that matter, China also.

With Russia, Iran’s partnership was formalized over the drones that they sent to Russia to use in the war with Ukraine.

A head Israel general and intelligence leader told me off the record that Russia has agreed to assist Iran with its nuclear program. They have also agreed to provide a nuclear umbrella for Iran, with planes flying over Iranian airspace like they have in Syria. This would make it virtually impossible for Israel to go to war against Iran in light of its nuclear program.

What are Israel’s options? The only window they have is to deal with Iran before the umbrella is in the sky and before Iran has an atomic bomb. But how do you deal with Iran when it intends to take out Israel with a nuclear bomb?

Another Iranian proxy, the Houthi rebels in Yemen, have also joined in the war against Israel. The group fired a medium-range ballistic missile toward Israel last month, with the Israel Defense Forces intercepting it with its Arrow air defense system. It marked the first time a missile had been destroyed from space, adding to outstanding technological military achievements by the Israeli military.

During the Yom Kippur War, when Golda Meir was faced with the possibility of losing, Israel reportedly opened its nuclear silos for US satellites to observe. This caused an instant reaction from the United States in assisting Israel.

If the US continues to appease Iran with what they call a proportional response, Israel will be forced into an apocalyptic dilemma. How do you stop Iran from wiping Israel off the map with a nuclear bomb? It could be that Israel will be forced to do the unthinkable and authorize the Samson Option against Iran as a preemptive strike on Iran to save the State of Israel, in a decision similar to President Harry Truman’s move to drop an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan, on August 6, 1945, and three days later on Nagasaki, to help end World War II.

US SHOULD STRIKE IRAN
There’s only one way this can be prevented, and that is if the US courageously has a preemptive strike on Iran itself, destroying all the oil refineries and ports for shipping. This could be done over a very short period. Iran would have minimal capability to confront the US. If they attempted to do so, the US has the power to bomb Iran into the Stone Age, and they know that.

In essence, the US could, in 72 hours, bankrupt Iran by destroying its ports and oil refineries. Iran has made $10 billion off the US under the Biden administration. An attack would stop these finances from promoting terror, and the people of Iran would have the power to overthrow the government.
Another option would be to attack Kharg Island. This would send a signal to Iran of what is to come if they do not back down. The Kharg Island oil terminal reportedly exports 80% of the country’s daily 2.2 million barrels.

The US needs to bankrupt Iran and its terror state to prevent an apocalyptic crisis that is on the horizon and to send a signal to any would-be terror.

REPORT: Israel’s Intentions Regarding the Attack on Iran

By NEWSRAEL Telling the Israeli Story

What are the Israeli intentions behind last night’s attack?

According to a Washington Post report, the Israeli intention behind the attack on Iran was to signal that Israel has the ability to attack its nuclear facilities.

Additionally, according to a former Mossad senior official, the purpose of the attack was to signal to the Iranians that Israel is capable of not only hitting Iranian infrastructure (airports, oil fields, etc.), but also other infrastructures (electricity, water, traffic), and again—their nuclear facilities.

These reports haven’t been confirmed by Israeli officials.

Biden’s NASA: Fully Woke and Boldly Going Where No One Has Gone Before, or Ever Wanted to Go Before thumbnail

Biden’s NASA: Fully Woke and Boldly Going Where No One Has Gone Before, or Ever Wanted to Go Before

By Jihad Watch

“To reach out to the Muslim world… to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math, and engineering.”

There’s the Right Stuff and the Woke Stuff. NASA no longer has the right stuff, so all it’s got is the DEI stuff.

Remember this?

In July 2010, NASA chief Charles Bolden, an Obama appointee, told Al Jazeera that his boss had given him three priorities… none of them involving space exploration. The foremost priority for the agency once tasked with sending a man to the moon was “to reach out to the Muslim world… to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math, and engineering.”

How many of you remember Obama’s “Muslim List”?

The Muslim list included two alternative candidates for NASA administrator. One of them, Dr. Charles Elachi of JPL was dismissed as “possibly Christian.” Indeed Elachi, who grew up admiring John Wayne and believes that American success is possible because it isn’t “held back by the long-standing, ingrained systems and beliefs found in the Middle East” would have been a rather poor fit.

The other name on the list however is Firouz Naderi, an Iranian board member of the Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans which advocated in support of the Iran nuke sellout.

While Trump threw out some of this stuff, under Biden NASA is fully woke and is boldly going where no one has gone before or ever wanted to go before.

Victor Glover, the black mission pilot, who had been working on Senator John McCain’s staff when he was selected as a NASA astronaut candidate, is preparing for his mission by listening to Gil Scott-Heron’s racist rant ‘Whitey on the Moon’ “twice a week on the way to work.”

NASA has a team that will update everything for the lunatic’s “current genders, names and pronouns” (which may or may not change on a biweekly basis) and then deploy a “workplace gender transition plan” that is only a little less complicated than the original moon landings.

“When I first came out, I did not come out as nonbinary at work. I wasn’t sure that people would accept that, so I came out as transmasculine and am only recently being completely authentic about it, like, ‘Actually, I’m nonbinary, and my pronouns are they/them,’” Mars “research scientist” Silas J. Ralston explains in a special NASA feature.

Now the four-person crew for the “virtual” mission to Mars has been unveiled and they carefully screened out white non-Muslim males.

A new team is set to enter HERA!

On May 10, four volunteers will step inside the 650-square-foot HERA habitat and begin a 45-day simulated journey to Mars, helping @NASA test how isolation affects crews on deep space journeys. Meet the crew: https://t.co/yKFboXjrYQ

— NASA’s Johnson Space Center (@NASA_Johnson) April 16, 2024

NASA has selected a new crew of four volunteers to participate in a simulated mission to Mars within a habitat at the agency’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.

Jason Lee, Stephanie Navarro, Shareef Al Romaithi, and Piyumi Wijesekara will step into the agency’s Human Exploration Research Analog, or HERA, on Friday, May 10. Once inside, the team will live and work like astronauts for 45 days.

Or woke cosmonauts anyway. During this time they’ll accuse each other of hate speech and microaggression.

But who actually needs to go to Mars when we can explore new dimensions of diversity right here?

‘No Tech For Apartheid’: Google Workers Protest Company’s Services To Israel thumbnail

‘No Tech For Apartheid’: Google Workers Protest Company’s Services To Israel

By The Daily Caller

A group of Google employees protested Tuesday in California and New York against the information technology corporation’s provision of cloud computing services to Israel, according to reports.

The protesters in Google’s Sunnyvale, California location entered the office of Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian Tuesday morning and said they would leave only if Google would withdraw from Project Nimbus, a $1.2 billion joint contract with Amazon to provide cloud services and data centers to the Israeli government, the Washington Post reported.

A similar protest took place in a common space within Google’s New York office, Zelda Montes, one of the protesters, told the outlet. A banner reading “Google Worker Sit-In”, “Against Project Nimbus”, and “No Tech for Genocide” hung above the common space, the outlet revealed.

A protester wore a T-shirt sporting the slogans “Googler against Genocide” and “No Tech for Apartheid” according to Gizmodo.

The provision of public cloud services to the Israeli government is the first of five “central layers” of the “multi-year, large-scale flagship project” that started in 2019, according to Israel’s Government Procurement Administration. Google and Amazon shrugged off Microsoft, Oracle and IBM, the other tenderers who also bid for the contract, in Apr. 2021, Reuters reported.

A group of Google employees staged sit-ins at the company’s offices to protest the tech giant’s work with Israel’s government, escalating the conflict inside tech companies over the war in Gaza and whether U.S. companies should sell technology to Israel. https://t.co/xGxXOnXrGW

— The Washington Post (@washingtonpost) April 16, 2024

Protests from within Google and Amazon have erupted in various forms since then. More than 90 Google employees and more than 300 Amazon employees collectively signed an anonymous Oct. 2021 letter accusing the companies of “aggressively” pursuing military and law enforcement contracts that “are part of a disturbing pattern of militarization, lack of transparency and avoidance of oversight.” They called on both companies to “pull out of Project Nimbus and cut all ties with the Israeli military.”

Two months after Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023 terror attack on Israel, workers staged a “die-in” at Google’s downtown San Francisco offices to protest against Israel’s reported use of what appeared to be a separate artificial intelligence program—termed “the Gospel”—in its military response to Hamas, according to the San Francisco (SF) Chronicle.

Google fired an employee who heckled the corporation’s top executive in Israel during a conference in New York in March, leading Montes to contemplate the possibility of being fired, too, according to the Washington Post report. “I have been waiting for months for people to be in the same position as me and be ready to put their job on the line,” Montes told the outlet in part.

Montes also reportedly alleged that Google lied to its employees about Project Nimbus.

Google spokesperson reportedly told the SF Chronicle that Project Nimbus was a public service program, not a military one.

Is America A ‘Failed Historical Model’? thumbnail

Is America A ‘Failed Historical Model’?

By Jerry Newcombe, D. Min.

Virtually every week there is some news item about the war on America’s founding ideals.

In Concord, Massachusetts on April 19, 1775, the “shot heard round the world” rang out, which was the very beginning of the American War for Independence. But, syndicated columnist Don Feder notes, that town recently “removed three historical markers, which had been in place since 1930, that commemorated the founding of the Massachusetts Bay Colony 300 years earlier,” lest the signs offend woke sensitivities.

In the state of Michigan recently, we have seen Muslims in what has been called “Dearbornistan” chanting “Death to America.” What ingratitude.

We also see people in high places of America who, it would seem, want to see the nation die.

Conservative critics would argue that one way of killing off America is by forcing woke policies until they bankrupt us spiritually, socially, militarily, culturally, academically, and so on.

Woke policies often use the acronym DEI for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. But isn’t Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson correct when he says that DEI should be more accurately called DIE? Because whatever things the woke policies touch ultimately die.

President Biden hired Anthony Blinken as Secretary of State. Blinken hired Zakiya Carr Johnson, who does not have a high view of the founding principles of America, to put it nicely.

In a now-deleted post, Carr Johnson wrote, “I understand that we cannot have equity without dismantling structural racism, patriarchy and heterosexism.”

She also pens, “These are chinks in the armor of traditional leadership that refuse to reconcile with a colonizing past, or recognize that time has run out for experimentation and tweaking of a failed historic model.”

Carr Johnson’s role in the State Department? Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer.

What is she saying? America has a “colonizing past” and is a “failed historic model.” Gary Bauer of Our American Values responds to that remark: “I’d like to know what her preferred ‘model’ is.”

To this day, people risk their lives to come to America. Perhaps the DEI revisionists should go to the border and tell migrants to turn around, since we’re just “a failed historic model.”

But are we? The founding fathers weren’t perfect. But they got a lot of things right.

America’s framers showed the world a better way to promote lasting good in the world. You begin with the foundational truth that our rights come from God, not the state. And then, building on that clear structure, because of man’s inherent sinful nature, you divide power so that no one man or small group can seize all the power for themselves. As James Madison, a key architect of the Constitution, summed up well: “All men having power ought to be distrusted.”

In my documentary on the Constitution (“We the People”) for Providence Forum, some of the guests from different backgrounds remarked how pleased they are to be Americans.

Alveda King, the niece of Martin Luther King, Jr., told our viewers, “I’m very grateful, very blessed, and delighted to be an American, because there’s so much liberty still in this great land.  Many problems, and I will not deny that we have those problems. But there is still opportunity in America. There is still hope in America. There is still prayer in America, and I continue to pray for America.

The late Billy Falling, a pastor and author, said, “As a Native American, the Constitution means to me that I have a protection, I have a wall, I have something that covers me, and that is the rule of law.”

Father Leon Hutton, a priest based in Ventura, California, noted, “As a Catholic, the Constitution has meant to us the opportunity to freely practice faith as we see it and to celebrate it and to share it with others and allow it to be part of the human discourse in the United States of America.”

Dennis Prager, the Jewish founder of PragerU, remarked, “Let me take the question of what America’s meant to the Jews and incorporated in that is the Constitution. This is the Judeo-Christian country. Christians rooted in [Judaism] founded the country; Jews knew this. Jews who came to America from Europe called it the ‘Golden Medina,’ the golden country, not money gold, but the prize place. Look, ‘God Bless America’ was written by a Jew. Jews were in love with this country and for good reason.”

There’s a famous aphorism that circulates around Washington, D.C.: “Personnel is policy.” The beliefs of the people working in powerful positions in various departments will eventually become the policy of those departments. It’s distressing to see enemies of America’s founding principles in so many high places. Too many of our public officials are woke. The rest of us need to be awakened before we lose the country.

Here Is What We Know About The Twelve Jurors Selected For Trump Trial

By The Daily Caller

All twelve jurors have been selected for former President Donald Trump’s trial relating to Democratic Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s allegations he falsified business records to hide a payment to pornstar Stormy Daniels.

The jurors include an investment banker, a security engineer with three children, a retired man from Lebanon who enjoys fly fishing, a speech therapist, a worker at an eyewear company, a woman from California who works in product development and a physical therapist, according to Politico. The panel is comprised of seven men and five women, according to NBC News.

The seven jurors sworn in Thursday join five who were selected on Tuesday, completing the panel that will weigh Bragg’s 34 count indictment against the former president. Six additional jurors are needed to serve as alternates, and Judge Juan Merchan said he is “hopeful” that selection will finish tomorrow, according to NBC News.

One alternate has already been selected, according to multiple reports. The alternate is a female asset manager who “likes to run, hang out with her friends and eat,” according to NBC News.

The jury’s foreperson, selected Tuesday, works in sales and is originally from Ireland, according to Politico. He’s married, likes “anything outdoorsy,” lives in West Harlem and reads The New York Times, Fox News and MSNBC, according to NBC News.

The second juror is a married investment banker who says he follows Trump’s posts on Truth Social, according to NBC News.

The third juror is a young corporate law attorney from Oregon who lives in Chelsea. He’s unmarried and says he gets news from The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and Google, according to CNN.

The fourth juror has three children and likes woodworking and metalworking, according to NBC. He’s a security engineer without any social media accounts, according to CNN.

The fifth juror is a young, female English teacher who lives with her boyfriend in Harlem, according to NBC News.

The sixth juror is a recent college graduate who works as a software engineer. She lives in Chelsea with three roommates and does not have strong feelings about Trump, according to CNN.

The seventh juror is a civil litigation attorney from North Carolina who lives on the Upper East Side in Manhattan. He has two kids and is married, according to CNN.

The eighth juror has two kids and used to be a wealth manager. He’s retired now and enjoys hobbies that include skiing, fly fishing and yoga, according to NBC News.

The ninth juror is an unmarried woman who lives alone, works as a speech therapist and said she likes reality TV podcasts, according to CNN.

The tenth juror, originally from Ohio, works in commerce and enjoys podcasts on behavioral psychology, according to CNN.

The eleventh juror, who Trump tried to remove after she said she did not like his “persona,” is a product development manager, according to CNN.

The twelfth juror is a female physical therapist who listens to sports and faith-based podcasts, according to NBC News.

Seven jurors were initially selected on Tuesday, though two were released earlier Thursday, according to reports. One said she did not believe she could be impartial after friends and colleagues asked her if she was a juror. Another was dismissed after prosecutors questioned the truthfulness of his answer on the jury selection questions.

Merchan directed the media Thursday not to report physical details about jurors or information about their employers.

Beyond the Headlines: Iranians vs. the Islamic Republic thumbnail

Beyond the Headlines: Iranians vs. the Islamic Republic

By Amil Imani

“This isn’t the Iranian people’s war, it’s Ali Khamenei’s war.” –Reza Pahlavi

Recent tensions between the Islamic Republic and Israel have once again thrust the Middle Eastern region into the spotlight. However, it is crucial to delve deeper into the intricate dynamics at play beyond geopolitical maneuvering and saber-rattling. One key distinction often overlooked is the differentiation between the Islamic Republic and the Iranian people. Iran means the land of Aryans.

The first step in supporting Iranians is to recognize and understand the distinction between the Iranian people and the Islamic Republic. It is essential to acknowledge that the Iranian people are distinct from the regime that governs them. This understanding can help prevent the conflation of the actions of the regime with the desires and aspirations of the Iranian populace.

Iran is NOT the Islamic Republic. Period.

The Ayatollah Khomeini went as far as stating:

“We do not worship Iran; we worship Allah,” he declared in a speech in 1980 in Qom. “For patriotism is another name for paganism. I say let this land [Iran] burn. I say let this land go up in smoke, provided Islam emerges triumphant in the rest of the world.”

The frustration felt by Iranians due to the world conflating them with the regime cannot be overstated. It is imperative to recognize that Iran has a rich historical and cultural identity that predates the establishment of the Islamic Republic. Once referred to as Persia, it was the land of the Aryans. A civilization renowned for its contributions to art, science, and literature. The Iranian people, contrary to the regime’s actions, yearn for peace and stability in their homeland.

It is clearly the Mullahs vs. the People. Discontent with the Islamic Republic runs deep within the Iranian populace. Activists and ordinary citizens alike have voiced their opposition to the regime, often at great personal risk. The simmering ethnic tensions between the regime and segments of the Iranian population further underscore the internal strife that plagues the country.

Let’s filter out the misinformation and know the Untold Story. Iranians face a daunting challenge in amplifying their voices amidst the cacophony of misinformation that surrounds them. “Crazy narratives” and “mass disinformation” about Iran often cloud the true aspirations and struggles of its people. The advent of social media, while a potential tool for activism, also presents its own set of challenges in a landscape dominated by state-controlled narratives.

This is a Call for Clarity. It is essential to advocate for the use of precise language when discussing Iran. By distinguishing between “Iran” and the “Islamic Republic,” observers can better understand the situation. This differentiation is crucial in acknowledging the Iranian people’s desire to be recognized as a peace-loving society distinct from the actions and policies of the Islamic regime.

We can begin the process by discoursing Iranian voices. The world can better support Iranians by providing platforms for their voices to be heard. This can be done through international media coverage, support for independent journalism within Iran, and facilitating opportunities for Iranian activists and advocates to share their perspectives on the global stage. By doing this, the Iranian voices and the world can better understand the sentiments and aspirations of Iranian citizens.

Only then can we move on to the “Diplomatic Engagement” stage because diplomatic efforts that prioritize the well-being and aspirations of the Iranian people are the only significant form of support. This involves fostering constructive dialogue with Iranian civil society, human rights organizations, and representatives of diverse Iranian communities and diasporas.

Diplomatic engagement should aim to empower Iranians and address their concerns, thereby demonstrating solidarity with the Iranian people.

Advocacy for human rights in Iran is crucial for supporting Iranians. The world can advocate for the protection of fundamental rights, freedom of expression, and the release of political prisoners in Iran. By standing up for the human rights of Iranians, the global community sends a powerful message of solidarity and support for those striving for a more just and free society within Iran.

The final stage of recognition of the Iranian people is cultural exchange and collaboration. Promoting cultural exchange and collaboration with Iranian artists, intellectuals, and civil society members can foster mutual understanding and solidarity. Encouraging educational and artistic exchanges and collaborations in science, technology, and academia can build bridges between the Iranian people and the international community.

Therefore, it is imperative to recognize the complexities underlying the relationship between the Iranian people and the Islamic Republic. A more nuanced understanding that separates the people from the regime is crucial and respectful of the desires and struggles of the Iranian populace.

The time for a change has arrived.  The majority of the Iranian people refuse to be fooled and intimidated any longer. They refuse to obey orders from the beasts of Allah currently ruling Iran. Iranians have recognized the fundamental weaknesses of their oppressors. With a little help here and a little help there, they can be transformed overnight from seemingly subdued and helpless sheep into mighty lions.

It is time for the Iranians to strike, gather forces, organize, and especially demonstrate in the streets in increasing numbers, even in the face of massive, gruesome, bloody repression by the Islamic rulers, who still have a powerful armed apparatus at their disposal. It is time to unleash the wrath of the Iranian people on the Islamic zealots. It is time to become even more defiant and end the barbaric theocratic regime by massive participation in a freedom revolution to end this primitive Islamic nightmare.

Senate rejects Mayorkas impeachment charges at trial, ending GOP bid to oust him

By Kaia Hubbard

Washington — The Senate quickly dispensed with the two impeachment charges against Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, convening a short-lived trial Wednesday that brought an end to a months-long effort to punish the secretary for his handling of the southern border.

The Senate’s 51-member Democratic majority voted to dismiss both charges as unconstitutional over the objections of Republican members. The entire proceeding lasted just three hours.

Mayorkas became just the second Cabinet secretary in U.S. history to be impeached when the House charged him in February with “willful and systemic refusal to comply with the law” and a “breach of public trust.” Democrats strongly opposed the impeachment effort, decrying it as a political stunt and saying the allegations constituted a policy disagreement that fell far short of the constitutional threshold for impeachment.

“We felt very strongly that we had to set a precedent that impeachment should never be used to settle policy disagreements,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said Wednesday evening. “If we allowed that to happen, it would set a disastrous precedent for Congress — could throw our system of checks and balances into cycles of chaos.”

Under the Constitution, the Senate is responsible for holding a trial to determine if impeached officials are guilty and should be removed from office. The House transmitted the articles on Tuesday, and senators were sworn in as jurors Wednesday afternoon. Sen. Patty Murray, a Washington Democrat and the president pro tempore of the chamber, presided over the trial. Senators took turns signing an oath book, an indication of the gravity of the proceedings.

Biden’s Marxist Government Accuses Maduro’s Marxist Venezuelan Government of Election Interference thumbnail

Biden’s Marxist Government Accuses Maduro’s Marxist Venezuelan Government of Election Interference

By Geoff Ross

The Communist installed Biden regime roosting in the White House and the Marxist Democrat National Committee (DNC) are getting extremely concerned about third party independents like Robert Kennedy (RFK) running for president.

The Biden Marxists know RFK will siphon votes away from the corrupt Biden presidency and help President Trump return to the Washington D.C. cesspool allowing Trump to drain it completely of this Marxist corruption and ideology.

So the Biden Communist Democrat National Committee (DNC) has hired an unprecedented team of lawyers to try and block the ballot access of such independent candidates like RFK threatening Biden’s reelection bid especially in swing states.

This is nothing more than election interference from the Marxist rats in the White House that are lifting their heads up sniffing each other’s backsides while swimming in the DC cesspool of corruption.

Dana Remus is the lead rat running this legal coup against RFK. This Marxist Remus used to be Comrade Biden’s White House thug. Or as they call it in the Biden Oval Office legal counsel.

Biden is now moving from the Communist left to the moderate center as it’s an election year but he continues to inject massive election interference against political opponents in our republic especially against Trump.

This is the norm as Biden gets closer to November which is indicative by taking this new position on his Communist pal Nicolas Maduro in Communist controlled Venezuela.

The hypocrite Biden is publicly stating that his secret Santa pal Nicolas Maduro is interfering with the Venezuelan up coming July elections while Biden is doing the exact same thing here at home.

Biden’s Treasury Department manages General License 44 which authorized the United States to buy oil and gas from Maduros Communist dictatorship. This license expires at 12:01 AM on April 18th 2024.

The 7th Floor State Department that secretly supports Maduro is stating:

“After a careful review of the current situation in Venezuela, the United States determined Nicolas Maduro and his representatives have not fully met the commitments made under the electoral roadmap agreement, which was signed by Maduro representatives and the opposition in Barbados in October 2023”.

So apparently the Treasury Department and the State Department is no longer going to renew License 44 allowing the purchase of oil and gas from Communist Venezuela because Biden is upset about Nicolas Maduro’s election interference.

The State Department also stated:

“We are concerned that Maduro and his representatives prevented the democratic opposition from registering the candidate of their choice, harassed and intimidated political opponents, and unjustly detained numerous political actors and members of civil society”

Maduro’s political opponents are either in jail or blocked from running or are experiencing unprecedented election interference, much like Biden’s political opponents here in the United States. There is not much difference between Maduro and Biden’s political campaign strategies and it took the U.S. Supreme Court voting 9-0 to allow Trump on the Colorado and Maine ballots.

Biden and his gang of corrupt Marxists will lose to the American patriot Donald Trump on November 5th 2024 that’s a promise from we the American people. We Americans that love our country also love a good fight and we will restore constitutional governance soon.

As for RFK we wish him well and he will probably be offered a leadership roll in the upcoming Trump Administration. My opinion.

High Court’s 9-0 Ruling Lowers Bar for Filing Anti-DEI Discrimination Lawsuits thumbnail

High Court’s 9-0 Ruling Lowers Bar for Filing Anti-DEI Discrimination Lawsuits

By The Daily Signal

A low-profile case decided Wednesday by the Supreme Court could have big implications for employers’ diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.

Muldrow v. City of St. Louis was a case about a female police officer who alleged that she was transferred from one department to another because of her sex. She argued that the transfer violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, which forbids “race, color, religion, sex, or national origin” discrimination with respect to employment “compensation, terms, conditions, or privileges.”

She lost in the lower court because she could not show that the transfer caused her “significant” harm. The lower court held that the transfer “did not result in a diminution to her title, salary, or benefits” and caused “only minor changes in [her] working conditions.”

A unanimous Supreme Court reversed, holding that any harm—whether significant or insignificant—satisfies Title VII.

Writing for the court, Justice Elena Kagan said that the policewoman “does not have to show … that the harm incurred was significant. Or serious, or substantial, or any similar adjective.”

The take-away is that the policewoman gets to sue, and so do a lot of other people. And not just over sex discrimination or transfers.

The opinion covers a lot more.

Title VII applies to all compensation, terms, conditions, and privileges of employment. If you have been fired, transferred, denied a bonus, or forced to attend (or excluded from) a training program, mentorship program, or retreat, on the basis of your race, sex, or religion, you can sue.

And now, you need not prove that you suffered any significant sort of harm.

As Justice Brett Kavanaugh explained in his concurring opinion, if there’s no floor on the amount of harm you must suffer, then the harm requirement is satisfied by any change in “money, time, satisfaction, schedule, convenience, commuting costs or time, prestige, status, career prospects, interest level, perks, professional relationships, networking opportunities, effects on family obligations, or the like.”

The ruling applies to sex-based transfers, like the policewoman’s, but it also applies to many corporate DEI programs.

It’s fashionable for corporate employers to create race- and sex-based employment conditions and privileges as part of their DEI initiatives.

Some cases are obvious and egregious. For example, Novant Health fired a white male executive in order to replace him with two women—one black, the other white. And Starbucks fired a former manager because she was white.

Other cases are subtle yet ubiquitous. LinkedIn’s “employee resource groups” and mentoring and training programs for “systemically marginalized” groups are representative examples. LinkedIn gives employees access to official programs organized on race and sex lines and creates special mentorships for members of certain groups.

These are all “privileges of employment” under Title VII.

LinkedIn also provides the leaders of these groups special pay on top of their salaries, which is “compensation” under Title VII.

Similarly, other companies, such as the law firms Morrison Foerster and Perkins Coie, provided race-based fellowships until they were sued. Other companies, like Twilio, consider race during layoffs.

Still more companies—including StarbucksMorgan StanleyMcDonald’sHersheyBlackRockDisneyand many others—administer programs and engage in practices that appear to give or deny special preferences and detriments on the basis of race and sex.

All of these programs and practices are celebrated as part of what Microsoft, for example, calls its “Diversity and Inclusion Journey,” which aims to “intentionally shift behavior” so that “everyone is accountable for change.”

Until Muldrow, cases challenging these programs faced the hurdle of having to prove “significant” harm. A judge might say, “Yes, you were discriminated against, but you didn’t really suffer.” To this, Kavanaugh and others would answer “discrimination is harm,” but that claim wouldn’t have gotten you anywhere.

A judge or jury sympathetic to DEI programs could easily say that a black person who was forced to work on certain projects to meet a client’s racial quota hadn’t suffered “significant” harm. Or that an Asian person denied the benefits of a mentorship program given to black employees hadn’t suffered “significant” harm. Or that a white person forced to undergo training telling her to “be less white” hadn’t suffered “significant” harm.

Today, that hurdle is gone. The harm requirement may now be satisfied by anything as simple as discomfort, status, or interest level. Functionally, discrimination alone is all that must now be proved.

That means that anti-DEI lawsuits just got a lot easier.

Robinson also states that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are still involved behind the scenes at the White House.

Tyler Robinson, Special Advisor to the Chief of Staff of SBA Administrator Isabel Guzman, details how the White House directs Isabel Guzman to campaign for the President of the United States so constantly that “[Guzman] is the most traveled member of the cabinet.  Like pretty much every week.”  Under the guise of talking to small business owners, Guzman travels across the country to help elect Democrats – especially swing state Democrats like Senator Jon Tester: “The White House was like, yes, go.  Invite Senator Tester.  Don’t invite the other Senator because he’s a Republican.  And don’t invite the two members of Congress because they’re Republicans.”  Such actions may be considered potential violations of the Hatch Act, which restricts federal employees from taking an active part in partisan political management and forbids them from campaigning for or against candidates.

Robinson says Guzman acts “as a spokesperson for Biden” as “…we try to visit with a member of Congress if they’re a Democrat…Just because then we can help them get re-elected as well.”

As military action escalated in the Middle East while President Joe Biden rested at his Delaware beach house, an OMG American Swiper Citizen Journalist captured Tyler Robinson, Special Advisor to the Chief of Staff of Biden Cabinet member Small Business Administration (SBA) Administrator Isabel Guzman, discuss who really makes the decisions at the White House and how the White House uses its position and resources to help elect Democrats.

Robinson detailed how Guzman acts “as a spokesperson for Biden” under the direction of the White House, traveling around the country “Like pretty much every week.”  He said, “we try to visit with a member of Congress if they’re a Democrat…Just because then we can help them get re-elected as well” and explained the White House specifically sends them to strategic states like Montana because “that’s like a seat we need in the Senate to maintain a majority.”  Robinson admitted it is illegal for Guzman to tell people to vote for Biden, but she essentially campaigns for President Biden and Democrats: “The White House was like, yes, go.  Invite Senator Tester.  Don’t invite the other Senator because he’s a Republican.  And don’t invite the two members of Congress because they’re Republicans.”

Who exactly did Robinson mean when he referred to the White House?  According to Robinson, the power behind President Biden who is running the White House is White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients whom Robinson described as more powerful than Vice President Kamala Harris.  Robinson implied unelected Zeints wields considerable control claiming, “by getting Jeff’s sign-off, you’re getting the President’s sign-off” and “whatever this guy says, it’s what the President says.”  White House Chiefs of Staff have an expansive role and help shape the President’s agenda as a gatekeeper to the President, but Jeff Zeints is not your average Chief of Staff using the position as a steppingstone to more lucrative government relations positions.  Named to Forbes Magazine’s 40 Under 40 list with an estimated net worth of $149M when he was only 35 years old (over 20 years ago), Zeints is already an experienced public and private sector executive.  He has held numerous positions in the executive branch, investment firms, on the Board of Facebook, and as Chief Operating Officer of DGB Enterprises, a holding company for the media company that publishes The Atlantic.  This is the person whom Robinson states “can sign off on things without the President.”

Along with Zeints, Robinson named lobbyists and political operatives from the Obama and Clinton administrations – Ron Klain, Steve Reschetti, Anita Dunn, Gene Sperling, and Biden’s sister Valerie Biden, as the President’s closest advisors.  Anita Dunn, for example, is a former managing director of SKDK (formerly SKDKnickerbocker), a prominent consulting firm for the Democratic Party machine.  Robinson also stated Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton have close ties to the White House with Hillary specifically advising Neera Tanden, the Director of the Domestic Policy Council.  These are the people whom Robinson states are advising and directing the White House.

Robinson also divulged how the SBA would eagerly become a financial lender to businesses if only “Congress provided us the funding and helped give us the collection agency.”  However, Robinson said the SBA “didn’t want [Guzman] to mention that like we would like to do direct funding to small businesses because Republicans hate that.”  Robinson did not mention any discussion within the SBA about the innate dangers of the federal government becoming a banking institution and providing loans to businesses who are refused loans by private banks.

Leftist Immigration Policies Waste Billions of Dollars and Undermine Election Integrity thumbnail

Leftist Immigration Policies Waste Billions of Dollars and Undermine Election Integrity

Several U.S. states and cities have embraced the president’s policy of a wide-open southern border, which has allowed millions of illegal immigrants to flood in. Not only are they treated better than U.S. citizens in many cases, receiving taxpayer funded housing, food, education, and health care, they have also contributed to an increase of violent crimes including harassment, rape, theft, and murder — not to mention the escalation in threats from people on the terror watchlist. But these harsh realities didn’t stop Denver Mayor Mike Johnston (D) from addressing them as “newcomers” in a recent announcement.

In order to justify spending $45.9 million on illegal immigrants, he used the “newcomers” to help excuse the complete irrationality of the circumstances. As Denver is overwhelmed by immigrants, the multi-million package is meant to “fully fund programs … for 2024 and avoid worst-case scenarios projected by the city,” Fox News reported. But notably, the $45.9 million comes “in addition to $44 million in spending already secured for the program through previous budget moves,” which means illegals in this city are now receiving just shy of $90 million.

In a literal sense, taxpayers are a major source of this money. But in a metaphorical sense, American citizens are also paying through programs and services they have not willingly sacrificed. Johnston’s package, for instance, resulted in an $8.4 million cut from the city’s police department, which hurts public safety. The immense spending on illegal immigrants, which went from $2 million to $15 million in Denver between August and December of last year alone, requires budget cuts. And what do budget cuts often result in? People losing their jobs.

Johnston’s office said “it will avoid layoffs or furloughs of employees,” but that doesn’t seem like a promise worth banking on — especially considering the skyrocketing demands of the illegal immigrants. Countless stories have emerged from the border, proving that once the migrants get an inch, they take a mile. And if previous headlines of immigrants murdering young college students, squatting in occupied homes, and overrunning public facilities doesn’t labor the point of their persistence, then perhaps current headlines will.

On Tuesday, “Hundreds of illegal immigrants swarmed New York City’s City Hall … to demand more aid from the city as well as work permits,” The Post Millennial wrote. They also objected to being moved out of luxury hotels, where they were staying for free, to local shelters. Now they want more money? According to Bloomberg, the Big Apple has already “spent $1.45 billion in fiscal 2023 on migrant costs,” and they “expect to spend a combined $9.1 billion housing migrants in fiscal years 2024 and 2025.” But evidently, that’s not enough.

America needs to take the reins. Imagine an illegal immigrant claiming to live in your home, but when you report it to the police, you are the one arrested. Well, we don’t have to imagine, since that’s what happened to a 47-year-old woman in Queens. The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh explained the woman was “dragged away from her own home — in handcuffs — because someone claims to have a lease for her property.” Walsh said the squatter couldn’t “show the lease to anyone, including the police and the media. But because he claimed he had “been living there for around a month, they arrest the woman.”

These stories are prompting some lawmakers to act, as evidenced by a new bill proposed by Rep. Dan Meuser (R-Pa.) to “stop illegal aliens from squatting in U.S. homes.” The Safeguarding Homes from Illegal Entry, Living, and Dwelling Act (SHIELD Act) comes in response to Leonel Moreno, an illegal immigrant from Venezuela, who posted a video on social media “explaining how to take advantage of squatting laws in the U.S.” And according to The Daily Signal, Moreno’s videos led to an uptick in illegals squatting in New York and Pennsylvania homes.

As Meuser explained, the SHIELD Act would ensure that “if an illegal were to claim squatter rights and enter an individual’s home illegally without any rental paperwork or legitimate lease, they can be arrested and deported and prohibited from ever entering the United States again.”

The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project also warned how election integrity efforts have been compromised by the border crisis. On Monday, they highlighted a flyer found posted throughout Mexico “encouraging illegal immigrants to vote for President Joe Biden in the 2024 election.” The page read, “Reminder to vote for President Biden when you are in the United States. We need another four years of his term to stay open.” And even though federal law prohibits non-U.S. citizens from voting in federal elections, organizations are desperately trying to take advantage of the millions of new crossers.

As the Oversight Project emphasized on X, “Election integrity is under assault.” Now, they continued, “You do not need documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote. You can vote if you simply swear you are eligible,” and the flyer in question “obviously seeks to prey on unsophisticated illegals and encourages them to illegally vote.” This is all pretty frustrating information. But as overwhelming as this issue has grown to be, it’s not where we give up.

Instead, when reading of all the horrible things happening, we have to understand that this is not a matter of getting frustrated and walking away, but of standing for truth and for what’s right. And every Christian can stand for what is right, even within this messy, hostile, divisive arena. Indeed, we are called to take our voices into the public square. Ephesians 5:11 states, “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” And so, that is what we will do, even now. Especially now.

Judicial Watch Statement on Prosecution of President Donald Trump in the ‘Hush Money’ Trial

By Judicial Watch

Washington, D.C. – Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton made the following statement regarding the unprecedented prosecution of President Donald Trump by Democrats in New York:

It will be nearly impossible for Trump to receive a fair trial in a courtroom run by biased, anti-Trump Democratic Party politicians. Today’s kangaroo court proceedings in the Manhattan Supreme Court mark the first-ever criminal trial of a U.S. president. Today is a sad day that will go down in infamy. This is a dangerous attack on the rule of law and a brazen attempt to rig the 2024 elections for President Biden and Democrats. Judicial Watch denounces Alvin Bragg’s corrupt attempt to make former president Donald Trump a political prisoner.

Trump committed no crimes, and this is a prosecution about “nothing.” These and other Democratic Party political prosecutions of Trump are an abomination under law and are destabilizing to our nation.

Judicial Watch will continue to expose in court the truth about these attacks on the rule of law, free and fair elections, and the U.S. Constitution.

Judicial Watch has several Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuits related to the prosecutorial abuse targeting Trump:

In March 2024, Judicial Watch filed a Georgia Open Records Act lawsuit against District Attorney Fani Willis and Fulton County, Georgia, for records of any communication Willis and the county had with Special Counsel Jack Smith and the House January 6 Committee. The lawsuit was filed in the Superior Court of Fulton County after Willis and the County denied having any responsive records.

In February 2024, the U.S. Department of Justice asked a federal court to allow the agency to keep secret the names of top staffers working in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office that is targeting former President Donald Trump and other Americans.

(Before his appointment to investigate and prosecute Trump, Special Counsel Jack Smith previously was at the center of several controversial issues, the
IRS scandal among them. In 2014, a Judicial Watch investigation revealed that top IRS officials had been in communication with Jack Smith’s then-Public Integrity Section about a plan to launch criminal investigations into conservative tax-exempt groups. Read more here.)

In January 2024, Judicial Watch filed  lawsuit against Fulton County, Georgia, for records regarding the hiring of Nathan Wade as a special prosecutor by District Attorney Fani Willis. Wade was hired to pursue unprecedented criminal investigations and prosecutions against former President Trump and others over the 2020 election disputes.

In October 2023, Judicial Watch  sued the DOJ for records and communications between the Office of U.S. Special Counsel Jack Smith and the Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney’s office regarding requests/receipt of federal funding/assistance in the investigation of former President Trump and his 18 codefendants in the  Fulton County indictment of August 14, 2023. To date, the DOJ is refusing to confirm or deny the existence of records, claiming that to do so would interfere with enforcement proceedings. Judicial Watch’s litigation challenging this is continuing.

Through the New York Freedom of Information Law, in July 2023, Judicial Watch received the  engagement letter showing New York County District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg paid $900 per hour for partners and $500 per hour for associates to the Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher law firm for the purpose of suing Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) in an effort to shut down the House Judiciary Committee’s oversight investigation into Bragg’s unprecedented indictment of former President Donald Trump.

Trans-Identifying Female Boxer KO’d in 21 Seconds by Biological Male thumbnail

Trans-Identifying Female Boxer KO’d in 21 Seconds by Biological Male

By Family Research Council

April showers bring May flowers, as the saying goes, and there’s seemingly a shower of men dominating in women’s sports that has yet to cease. What has bloomed as a result? Social outrage.

Two recent events are surfacing in news outlets, in which many have argued serve as further examples of why men should not be competing in women’s sports (and vice versa). On Saturday, trans-identifying runner Aayden Gallagher nearly blew his female competitors out of the water during the 2024 Sherwood Need For Speed Classic track competition in Oregon. The biological male finished the 200-meter race in a time of 25.49 – roughly two seconds ahead of the other runners — a sizeable margin in the realm of track and field.

In a different heat, Gallagher barely came in second behind female runner Aster Jones. But despite losing his hold on first place, it’s notable that Gallagher hit the “fifth fastest time ever run in the state’s girls 200m,” and the “fourth fastest time ever run in the Oregon girls’ 400m,” The Post Millennial reported. But to make an accurate comparison against male-born athletes, PM continued, “Gallegher’s 200m time would have earned 61st place among the male athletes and 46th in the 400m.”

The online rage sparked by these circumstances were partly due to Gallagher specifically, but also by the bigger picture of men being able to compete in women’s sports in the first place. As the Independent Council on Women’s Sports (ICONS) shared on X, “Championing boys in girls’ sports is blatant misogyny.” Libs of TikTok, a prominent conservative social media presence, also posted on X, “These high school girls just had their dream stolen from them because the school is catering the delusions of a boy who pretends to be a girl.” Gallagher “is a cheater,” the post stated.

One X user responded to that post, “This man is not just a cheater, he’s a criminal. He’s stolen from girls their opportunity for fair competition and to have a bright future in sports.” Another wrote, “One day, future generations will look back on this with pain, wondering how humanity ever got to this point. Such a sad situation.” And amid several other angry comments, one sobering comment read, “When will parents of girls get sick of their daughters taking second place?”

On the flip side of this social controversy is boxer Patricio Manuel, formerly known as Patricia. The biological female recently became the first trans-identifying pro boxer to compete in the men’s division. Before her transition in 2013, Manuel competed in the U.S. women’s Olympic Trial, but had to take a step back due to a shoulder injury. According to The Daily Mail, “Manuel was a five-time national amateur women’s boxing champion.” But eleven years later, she started boxing with the big boys. Literally.

While the female boxer had recorded three consecutive wins, the fight during the Golden Boy Fight Night in California on April 4 put an end to the streak. Manuel went up against her male opponent, Joshua Brian Reyes, and was knocked out within 21 seconds. Media Research Center (MRC) posed the question, “Ever wonder why you never hear stories about women who believe they’re men stealing actual men’s sports trophies and championships?” To which they concluded, “That’s because it doesn’t happen.” And as many have argued, this topic shouldn’t be up to debate.

Macy Petty, an NCAA volleyball player and former Family Research Council intern, warned, “[The Biden] administration continues to reduce sex-based competition to arbitrary hormone levels,” she shared with The Washington Stand. But “women are so much more than a hormone level, and our sports should reflect our unique design.”

According to Petty, “The female league is not a B league, or simply a league for athletes with particular hormone levels. It is a league specifically created for women to embrace the potentials of their God-created design.” She continued, “Male intrusion not only disrupts the protection of female opportunity but attacks the very design of male and female.” And it appears it’s not just men in women’s sports that causes controversy, as Manuel’s case demonstrates.

Petty concluded, “Male athletes beating women by seconds in track competition is a true mockery of the intentionality distinguishing the sexes. [And] in many cases, such as boxing, it places women directly in harm’s way.” But many have joined Petty in the pleas of keeping men and women’s sports distinct, including “over a dozen female athletes [who] are suing the National Collegiate Athletics Association for letting transgender athletes compete against them and use female locker rooms in college sports.”

The question is: will high school athletes and their parents follow suit?

Global Imams Council Issues Statement Condemning Iran’s Attack On Israel thumbnail

Global Imams Council Issues Statement Condemning Iran’s Attack On Israel

By Middle East Media Research Institute

Iran | Special Dispatch No. 11285

On April 14, 2024, following Iran’s large-scale missile- and drone-attack on Israel, the Global Imams Council (GIC) issued an English-language statement that strongly condemned this attack, which “brought with it a new phase of tension, uncertainty and confrontation in the Middle East,” endangered the religious sites in the Holy Land and could spark an escalation threatening the the security of Millions of Muslims across the region. Rejecting Iran’s claim that it was acting in self-defense and highlighting the Iranian regime’s “history of sponsoring terrorism, sheltering terrorist organizations,” the statement also urged the world democracies to designate Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.

The statement was signed by 295 Imams who are members of the GIC, representing 38 countries, in addition to endorsements from the GIC Governing Board, GIC Senior Imams Committee, GIC Advisory Committee and the Members of the GIC General Council.

The GIC is the world’s first and largest international non-governmental body of Muslim religious leaders from all Islamic denominations and schools, and advocates for peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and interfaith dialogue and for tackling extremist ideologies and militant Islam.[1]

The following is the text of the statement:

PUBLIC STATEMENT CONDEMING IRAN’S TERRORIST ATTACK

By the authority vested in the Global Imams Council by the Islamic Seminaries of the Holy Islamic Cities of Najaf and Karbala, we condemn in the strongest terms the terrorist attack conducted by the un-Islamic regime occupying the Iranian Republic on the 13th of April 2024.

The wave of drones and missiles that the regime launched has not only brought with it a new phase of tension, uncertainty and confrontation in the Middle East, but also targeted the Holy Land and place religious sites, including the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in serious danger.

The Global Imams Council rejects the regime’s self-defense pretest, and we highlight its history of sponsoring terrorism, sheltering terrorist organizations, and exploiting Mosques, Holy Shrines and diplomatic venues to shelter terrorists. For the last four decades, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has been the main source of Islamist terrorism in the world, with its leader Ali Khamenei financing organizations not limited to Hamas, Hezbollah, Yemen’s Houthis:; as well as harboring Al-Qaeda members on Iranian territory.

This escalation and threat of open warfare threatens the safety and stability of millions of Muslims, compelling us, as religious leaders, to denounce the regime in Iran and demand accountability for its acts of terror in the name of Islam.

Furthermore, The Global Imams Council urges all democracies yet to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization to do so promptly in response to this egregious attack.

‘Rather Despicable’: John Eastman Speaks Out After Bank Of America, USAA Shut Down His Accounts thumbnail

‘Rather Despicable’: John Eastman Speaks Out After Bank Of America, USAA Shut Down His Accounts

By The Daily Caller

One of the left’s biggest political targets recently found himself “de-banked” with no warning and little avenue for recourse, the Daily Caller has learned.

John Eastman, once an attorney for former President Donald Trump, was de-banked twice in the span of several months by two prominent financial institutions, Bank of America and USAA, he told the Daily Caller. His accounts were closed as he faced substantial backlash for his work advising Trump around the time of the 2020 election.

Eastman said he had switched most of his banking from Bank of America to USAA, a company that provides financial services exclusively to military veterans as well as their families, due to the former’s “wokeness.” Both corporations are federally insured, and Bank of America was bailed out with billions of dollars in taxpayer funds during the global financial crisis.

Bank of America alerted Eastman in September of 2023 that it would be closing his accounts, a letter obtained by the Daily Caller shows. Shortly thereafter, USAA notified Eastman in November that his two bank accounts with the company would be closed, a separate letter shows.

“And then two months later, we get a similar letter from USAA saying that they’ve decided that they’re going to close your account and they did like three weeks later,” Eastman told the Daily Caller. “And so that was where all of our automatic payments were coming out of, all our automatic deposits. So it was a real pain to shift everything. We had to get a new bank account opened and shift everything over.”

Eastman was notified of his USAA accounts being closed on Nov. 20, 2023. A few weeks prior, a California judge made a preliminary decision saying that Eastman was culpable of ethics violations in a state bar disciplinary case, CNN reported.

USAA claimed in its letter that it was “exercising its right to no longer do banking business” with Eastman per its “Depository Agreement.”

“We may close your account for any reason without advance notice. We may require you to give us a minimum of seven (7) calendar days advance written notice when you intend to close your account by withdrawing your funds,” a section of the agreement reads.

USAA did not respond to the Daily Caller’s multiple requests for comment.

When Eastman inquired about the closures, the banks said it was their policy to not provide any more information on the matter, he told the Daily Caller. An audio recording of Eastman’s call to Bank of America, provided to the Daily Caller, reflects as much.

LISTEN:

“De-banking” is a phenomenon in which financial institutions refuse financial service to the targets of political activism, who often end up being conservatives.

“What these banks are doing is they’re saying you’re either high risk, or we don’t want to do business with you, or whatever it is. There’s no methodology behind this. There’s no kind of reason that matches traditional indicators or traditional metrics that a bank would use to calculate your liquidity, your credit score, whatever it is. They’re using these non-financial factors, and then making these decisions and just like closing people’s accounts,” Eric Bledsoe, an expert on de-banking for the Foundation for Government Accountability, told the Daily Caller.

In typical de-banking situations, it is normal for the banks to withhold their reason for suddenly closing their clients’ accounts, Bledsoe added.

Eastman told the Daily Caller he was using the accounts he had set up with Bank of America and USAA for personal finances. He and his wife qualified for USAA bank accounts because his father-in-law served in the Navy in WWII and in the Marines in the Korean War, the attorney told the Daily Caller.

“We had Bank of America accounts for about 40 years. But just because of their wokeness we kind of quit a couple of years ago, using them much. They’ve got physical locations and therefore easy ATM, so we kept our accounts there, but we didn’t use much. And about four or five years ago, we opened USAA bank accounts and we were using those as our primaries,” Eastman said.

The Daily Caller reached out to the Bank of America for comment, giving the corporation multiple days to respond. Bank of America initially told the Caller it would answer, though about an hour before the deadline provided, the company decided not to comment.

“Just as a general policy, we don’t comment on client matters. So I don’t have a comment at this point on the situation,” Bill Haldin, from Bank of America media relations, told the Daily Caller after asking if the focus of the story was solely on Eastman.

Bledsoe spoke to the political nature of de-banking and how it can make Americans’ lives harder.

“I’m gravely concerned. It really is the kind of next step in [Environmental, Social and Governance]. So ESG across the board, it really is about like, re-directing capital away from the politically disfavored and to the politically favored at the moment, without going through the political process at all,” Bledsoe said.

Neither bank specified to Eastman whether the closing of his accounts was for political reasons, though he has his suspicions.

“I’m 99.9% confident,” he said. “What I don’t know is whether they didn’t want to do business with me, or whether they didn’t want to continue to be hassled by federal regulators for doing business with me. I don’t know which of those two it is, either one of them is rather despicable.”

Eastman’s confidence could, in part, be attributed to the litany of challenges he has faced following the 2020 presidential election.

Since Eastman argued that Vice President Mike Pence had the power to help deliver Trump the 2020 presidential election, the attorney has seen his life be uprooted by his opponents. Just days after the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, Eastman resigned as a law professor from Fowler School of Law at Chapman University after the school faced pressure to oust him, Forbes reported. In a statement of his own, Eastman said he had “mixed feelings” about resigning, though the school said the pair had reached an agreement on the matter.

Then, at the end of that month, the University of Colorado’s Benson Center for Western Civilization banned Eastman from speaking at the institution despite being a visiting scholar, according to Forbes.

“The University of Colorado Boulder relieved John Eastman of duties related to outreach and speaking as a representative of the Benson Center for the Study of Western Civilization,” the institution said in a press release.

Nearly a year later, in June 2022, FBI agents seized Eastman’s phone as he was leaving a restaurant, the Associated Press reported. Eastman and his wife have also experienced death threats, graffiti threats in their neighborhood and have had spikes planted in their driveway, his friend Josh Hammer wrote in a column.

A number of red state attorneys general — including from Florida, Iowa, Missouri, Indiana and Montana — voiced their opposition to the de-banking trend after the Daily Caller laid out Eastman’s situation. Many of the state AGs pointed to politics as a potential reason Eastman’s accounts were closed.

“No American should lose their bank account because banks want to play politics. Time and time again, we are seeing banks target and cut off those they disagree with and refuse to explain why. That is unacceptable,” Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird told the Daily Caller.

“De-banking contradicts the very character of our nation, as elites wrongfully use their power to punish their political opponents. Here’s the bottom line: If financial institutions are punishing consumers who don’t fall in line with their political beliefs, that could constitute a violation of both state and federal law,” Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey told the Daily Caller.

Now, Eastman is being prosecuted by Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney Fani Willis as part of her case against Trump. On March 27, a California judge ruled that Eastman should be disbarred due to his legal advice in the wake of the 2020 election. The case will now move to the state Supreme Court for a final decision.

“I just think this is a terrible trend. I think it’s harmful. I think it prohibits people from bringing their values and the public square into the marketplace. And they have every constitutional right under the Free Exercise clause to bring their values into the marketplace. And I think this is also I think this is something we’re just gonna have to fight against,” Sam Brownback, an attorney and former U.S. Senator whose Christian non-profit was de-banked, told the Daily Caller.
