With crime out of control, American cities are eroding. This was no accident — it was a choice made by progressive politicians who want to abandon law and order in pursuit of a utopian dream. Yet the dream of wealthy elites has become a real-life nightmare for millions of average Americans. The Daily Caller’s new feature film, “Lawless,” debuts Oct. 26 and will expose the real cost of the “Defund the Police” movement.
“We are not a city that can handle parallel critical incidents,” said Matt Mackowiak, co-founder of Save Austin Now, a PAC dedicated to restoring public safety and quality of life in Austin, Texas.
“If we get to a situation where we have a serious bank robbery in North Austin, and something happening at [Austin City Limits Music Festival] at the same time, we will not have enough police officers to respond to both incidents,” he continued.
Austin is home to some of the biggest cultural events in the country. Music festivals, football games, Formula 1 races — they all draw visitors from around the world. Yet, as Mackowiak pointed out, the “Defund” movement has made it so police no longer have the capacity to keep Austin safe during these events. Citizens will continue to be robbed, beaten, raped and murdered as calls to 911 increasingly go unanswered.

We sat down with Mackowiak as part of an investigation into the senseless violence and decay that has gripped American cities since the Black Lives Matter riots of 2020. Our crew of dedicated documentary filmmakers traveled to three cities at the forefront of the “Defund” movement to examine the terror it has unleashed. Random attacks, industrial-scale looting, and rampant homelessness and drug use — all the predictable results of siphoning resources and support away from police. Austin is the tip of the iceberg, but the problem is not confined to major urban areas.
Police resignations increased by 47 percent between 2019 and 2022, according to a Police Executive Research Forum survey. In the same span of time, the total number of sworn officers decreased by about 5 percent as recruitment was unable to keep up. Combined, this has led to a shortage of cops across the country; even small towns are not immune. Nearly 40 small towns have disbanded their police departments since 2019, according to a study from Rice University.
Facing unprecedented hostility and abuse, police officers around the country are quitting their jobs at a rate “never seen before,” according to the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP).
“I want to signal a crisis,” FOP President Patrick Yoes warned. “Our profession is dependent on the best and brightest stepping up and taking this job. And because of the actions, and because of the turmoil that has happened in the last two years, we have a crisis right now in manpower.”
Due to the national police shortage, all departments are struggling with recruitment, retention and pay. But rural communities face a unique set of difficulties, according to Sgt. Betsy Smith of the National Police Association.
“As a small-town police officer, there’s a really good chance you don’t have any backup,” Smith told Fox News. “You’re kind of on your own, left to take care of yourself and figure things out yourself. So, we have to think about what we are willing to pay for as the citizens of those small communities.” Without better funding, response times will continue to increase.
Through our investigation, we were able to paint a picture of the impending crisis yet to unfold. Soon, cities and towns across America won’t just face a choice between maintaining a police presence at major events and responding to everyday crime. If the trend continues, departments will no longer have the capacity to respond to crime at all. Liberal elites will always be fine in their gated communities, but in a time of crisis, this could mean life or death for vulnerable communities. A new generation of Americans will grow up wondering, “If I call 911, will anyone even answer?”

This story is critical for two reasons. First, to verify actual accuracy of the event on fact-check. Second, to see a strange similarity with a current situation on our Southern border. Thousands of unaccompanied children are crossing the Southern border and then they fled by Biden’s government at night to different states and appalling information comes back from those states: the children have been abused by different criminal groups and exploited by some companies. Immigration authorities encountered more than 152,000 unaccompanied minors at or near the U.S.-Mexico border in fiscal year 2022 (FY2022).

The seven deadly sins, also known as the capital vices or cardinal sins, are a grouping and classification of vices within Christian teachings. According to the standard list, they are pride, greed, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony, and sloth. These sins are considered obstacles to a fulfilling spiritual life and a healthy relationship with God. They can be overcome with the seven heavenly virtues of humility, charity, chastity, gratitude, temperance, patience, and diligence.
What we Americans are facing is an age old conflict between good and evil. Between free men and women and tyrants. Between those who want to take everything to gain, maintain and keep in power and those who want to live their lives peacefully and freely.
Examples of the Seven Deadly Sins
The following deadly sins have in many parts of America, in the three branches of the government and in all federal agencies the policies of this land.
Pride, Gay Pride Month, LGBTQIE+ agenda, sexualization of underaged children, gender transitioning (e.g. castration and female mutilation) and the introduction to pornography in public schools.
Greed, politicians, corporations, drug companies, non-profits, entertainment industries and others becoming wealthy by pushing specific political agendas
Wrath, attacking anyone or any political opponent who does not comply by creating hateful words to censor them such as homophobic, Islamophobic, right-wing, domestic terrorists (e.g. parents), Jews, Christians and many many more.
Envy, coveting what others have and doing anything to take away wealth from the workers and giving it to the state for redistribution to its allies.
Lust, rape, child trafficking, sex slavery, cheating, sexual abuse, incest, etc.
Gluttony, celebrating obesity, unhealthy eating habits, starving others so some have more to eat, drink and imbibe. Waste, fraud and self abuse.
and Sloth, public welfare, benefits for non-citizens (e.g. illegal aliens) over legal citizen, living off of government largesse as a employee of government, politician or elected official, spending more than one earns, looting.
Examples of the Seven Heavenly Virtues
Sadly in America, and globally, the following heavenly virtues are in short supply.
Humility, doing the right things for yourself, your family, community and America.
Charity, kindness, trust without prejudice nor resentment. Taking care of one’s family, friends and neighbors.
Chastity, being true to those who you love as a husband, wife, mother, father, son, or daughter.
Gratitude, Thankful for those gifts we have received, not from government but from one another.
Temperance, voluntary self-restraint, moderation and self-restraint in behavior and expression. Being a gentle man and woman.
Patience, the ability to endure difficult circumstances. Patience may involve perseverance in the face of delay; tolerance of provocation without responding with disrespect or anger; forbearance when under strain.
and Diligence a drive to steadfastly move forward with one’s means, carefulness and persistent effort or work. A belief that work is good in itself.
There are but two political parties now. Patriots and traitors.
Traitors embrace and promote the seven deadly sins.
Patriots are those who are blessed with heavenly virtues.
The 2024 presidential election is a battle between good and evil. Between right and wrong.

At least 11 illegal alien men are accused of having been involved in a house of horrors in the small town of Bemidji, Minnesota, where at least three young girls were drugged, tied up, and gang raped, according to local law enforcement.
Late last month, an 11-year-old girl presented herself at the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center’s Emergency Department to report that she had been sexually assaulted. The case was then turned over to the Bemidji Police Department where officers began looking for the residence where the alleged sexual assault occurred.
Police soon identified a residence at 1821 America Court NW in Bemidji as the location of the alleged sexual assault. The victim said she was staying with an adult male relative when he put her in a car with other men and she had a bag put over her head.
The men allegedly brought the victim to the residence at 1821 America Court NW, pushed her down a flight of stairs, forced her to consume alcohol, and tied her up. The victim alleges a man nicknamed “Panda,” later identified as 22-year-old Oscar Ernesto Luna of Mission, Texas, raped her while four men watched.
The victim said she was then gang raped by an unknown number of men.
Police said the victim described a house of horrors where another young girl was tied up and unconscious in a closet of the bedroom and that a 16-year-old girl was also tied up. Two other girls were also tied up, the victim said, as she was gang raped.

According to multiple DC media sources, a quiet effort is underway by members of the professionally republican mindset to kick Matt Gaetz out of the House Republican caucus. However, the advocates worry they will be primaried by voters in their district, as the population of Republican voters supports Gaetz. It is a duplicitous dynamic.
Meanwhile, Kevin McCarthy has told his Republican conference that despite prior statements, he will not attempt to become the House Speaker again and will instead retire to his home district in California.
No one is quite sure what comes next; what is clear is that Gaetz has channeled the frustration of the Republican/MAGA base into an actionable result. This should not come as a surprise to the GOPe, although many of the cloistered clan continue pretending not to understand the dynamic at play.
Allow me to provide some simple clarity.
♦ In 2009 72% of the country, and an even larger percentage of the Republican voters, did not want Obamacare. The govt takeover of healthcare was along purely ideological grounds. For the 2010 midterm election, the professional Republican apparatus campaigned on this single issue – repeal Obamacare. The voters destroyed the Democrats and flipped 67 seats to Republican control. The professional Republicans wanted the House, frustrated American voters gave it to them.
The Republicans did nothing.
♦ In 2012, the professional Republicans campaigned on retaining the House and asked to begin a process of taking down the Democrat control of the Senate. Remember, it was a 60/40 Senate when the Obamacare boondoggle was begun. Keep the House, help us take Senate seats, and we will repeal Obamacare and balance the budget. That was the call of the 2012 professional Republicans. The voters delivered. The GOPe kept the house, took 6 seats in the Senate and introduced a wave of fresh Republican blood.
The Republicans did nothing.
♦ In the 2014 midterm election, the professional Republicans campaigned on retaining the House and now flipping the Senate with more GOP seats. Keep the House, give us the Senate majority, and we will repeal Obamacare and deliver a balanced budget. The voters again delivered. Beginning in January 2015, the Republicans controlled the House and the Senate majorities for Obama’s last two years.
The Republicans did nothing.
Worse still, even with professional Republican control of both chambers of congress, President Obama never had to use his veto pen.
♦ In the 2016 election, after the professional Republicans could no longer stop/block candidate Donald Trump, they said if we get the White House, retain the House and retain the Senate, we will repeal Obamacare, return to regular budgetary order, and balance the budget. Stunningly, against all the odds, the voters yet again delivered. President Trump won the election; Republicans now held the White House, the House and the Senate – as requested.
The Republicans did nothing.
Worse still, the professional Republicans acted as if they were the dog that just caught the car. Now they had no excuses, and as a result there was an exodus of retirements announced from the caucus of the professionally Republican to begin in 2018.
Simultaneously, the professional Republicans passively allowed the targeting of Donald Trump by a fully weaponized intelligence apparatus and justice system to commence. To say the professionally Republican were willfully blind would be polite and generously honest.
In the background the RNC did nothing. The California ballot harvesting operation of 2018 reflected a complete lack of action by the RNC or CA GOP. We all well remember how that operation expanded nationwide in 2020, again with the RNC doing nothing.
This is the reality of what took place between the elections of 2010 and 2020. Every ask of the professionally rRpublican apparatus was delivered by voters. Every ask of the voters in return was ignored. Effective January 2021, Obamacare still exists, no budget was ever produced, the borders were unsecured, the economy tanked due to Biden policy, energy and printing presses. Crises, along with insufferable government mandates, amplified and expanded from coast to coast.
The Green New Deal was passed by Republicans and Democrats, and the collapse of the economy came with it.
Clear enough?
Suddenly, as if there was no background of repeated broken promises and a complete failure to deliver on any key request, Kevin McCarthy and his legion of professionally Republican supporters pretend they cannot fathom why the base voters are more than happy to support Matt Gaetz.

Another significant foundational piece is this: “The major components of the election procedure are: 1) voter, 2) machine, and 3) process (e.g., ballot handling). Election Integrity means that ALL the major aspects of the election procedure are done accurately, honestly, and transparently, in a timely fashion.”
I’m not an attorney, but am rather knowledgeable about the election integrity issue, and the 2020 election. From that perspective (and without knowing all the details that have happened to date at the Eastman disbarment trial), I’m suggesting what I believe is his best defense to the competent lawyers he hired to defend him.
The layperson summary is that there are two (2) major issues being contested here:
Did John Eastman have a reasonable basis to believe that the certified 2020 Presidential election results of some states, were likely inaccurate?
If yes, what should have been his legal advice to VP Mike Pence regarding how such likely inaccurate certifications should be dealt with?
I am not qualified to address the second matter, but the most effective defense for the first issue would be to rely on three pillars. They are (in order of importance):
a) Post-2020 Election Audits,
b) Post-2020 Statistical Reports on the 2020 election, and
c) Post-2020 Misc Evidence about the integrity of the 2020 election.
To date, based on inadequate state requirements, US post-election “audits” are relatively superficial checks like recounts, canvassing, risk-limiting “audits,” etc. These are lightweight, very limited “double checks” that were chosen because of their simplicity and low cost — NOT effectiveness! For example, none of these checks assure us that all the people who voted were legitimate voters, or that there were no machine manipulations of ballots cast, or that there were no subsequent ballot process irregularities. Etc.
The only legitimate way any state official can claim that there were no consequential irregularities in a prior election, is if the state conducted a timely Forensic Audit. A Full Forensic Audit consists of three key elements: i) a voter audit, ii) a machine audit, and iii) a process audit (i.e., audits of the three elements of the election procedure!).
Note: No precinct, county, or state in the US did a Full Forensic Audit following the 2020 election. ZERO.
A step-down is a Partial Forensic Audit, where one or more of the elements of a Full Forensic Audit is done.
There were only three (3) examples where a Partial Forensic Audit of the 2020 elections was done in a precinct, county, or state, prior to January 6, 2021. These are:
The results? ALL THREE of these Partial Forensic Audits (done by different people, in different locations, on different aspects of the election procedure) concluded that there were catastrophic failures in the 2020 election process:
The Voter Forensic Audit: Nevada — concluded that there were “130,000± instances of voter fraud” (and they have the names of those parties).
The Machine Forensic Audit: Antrim, Michigan — concluded “The Dominion Voting System is intentionally and purposefully designed with inherent errors to create systemic fraud and influence election results…”
So the takeaway from the “A” pillar is that EVERY meaningful audit done in 2020 following the 2020 election indicated widespread major election integrity failures.
B) Post-2020 Statistical Reports on the 2020 election. The following were done by my team of statistical, etc. experts, prior to January 6, 2021:
The results? ALL THREE of these statistical reports concluded that there were significant statistical anomalies in the 2020 election process.
The Pennsylvania Report — concluded that there were some 300,000 suspect ballots (where the Presidential vote differential was 80k±).
The Michigan Report — concluded that there were some 200,000 suspect ballots (where the Presidential vote differential was 150k±).
TheSpikes Report — concluded that there was a net of 3± million votes for Biden attributable to unexpected vote spikes.
So the takeaway from the “B” pillar is that EVERY one of these statistical analyses of the 2020 election indicated widespread major issues. [Note for the rest of the election reports done by our team of experts, see here.]
C) Post-2020 Misc Evidence about the integrity of the 2020 election. The following are sample reports from other experts, all prior to January 6, 2021:
So the takeaway from the “C” pillar is that miscellaneous reports from different experts about the 2020 election also indicated widespread serious election issues.
The bottom line is that ALL three of these pillars independently indicate that there were significant integrity issues with the 2020 presidential election.
What is disconcerting is that in many cases the state certification process seems to be more of a rubber stamp, rather than a meaningful, independent verification that the election process just held was accurate. For example, it appears that none of the underlying evidence in the above-referenced reports was addressed by the certification process of the states involved.
That John Eastman expressed concerns about the 2020 certification process of some states, was not only reasonable — but if he had not done so (knowing the above information) it would have been an abdication of his legal and fiduciary responsibility.
Again, this is my opinion as a non-attorney who is quite knowledgeable about the 2020 election.
PS — One of the many disingenuous assertions that the mainstream media has spread about the 2020 Presidential election is that fraud and malfeasance would only make a consequential difference if they were “widespread.” That is totally false. There are two powerful takeaways here: 1) if the results of three of these four states were reversed, the results of the entire election would have changed, and 2) just looking at one thing (vote spikes) the results of all four states are likely different.
Since John Eastman likely knew this, it was eminently reasonable that he was suspicious of the certifications provided by each of these states.
PPS — When I was on the witness stand, the prosecutor tried to communicate that my team’s reports were outliers — as state officials reported that there were no meaningful election problems. I pointed him to Appendix A of our Recommendations Report. Here we listed dozens of reports by other sources about the failings and vulnerabilities of the US election system. Two key points: 1) these reports were all done PRIOR to the 2020 election, and2) these are not just conservative complaints, as many of these reports were done by Left-leaning sources. Exclusive: Donald Trump Followers Targeted by FBI as 2024 Election Nears
The federal government believes that the threat of violence and major civil disturbances around the 2024 U.S. presidential election is so great that it has quietly created a new category of extremists that it seeks to track and counter: Donald Trump’s army of MAGA followers.
The challenge for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the primary federal agency charged with law enforcement, is to pursue and prevent what it calls domestic terrorism without direct reference to political parties or affiliations—even though the vast majority of its current “anti-government” investigations are of Trump supporters, according to classified data obtained by Newsweek.
“The FBI is in an almost impossible position,” says a current FBI official, who requested anonymity to discuss highly sensitive internal matters. The official said that the FBI is intent on stopping domestic terrorism and any repeat of the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. But the Bureau must also preserve the Constitutional right of all Americans to campaign, speak freely and protest the government. By focusing on former president Trump and his MAGA (Make America Great Again) supporters, the official said, the Bureau runs the risk of provoking the very anti-government activists that the terrorism agencies hope to counter.
“Especially at a time when the White House is facing Congressional Republican opposition claiming that the Biden administration has ‘weaponized’ the Bureau against the right wing, it has to tread very carefully,” says the official.

The U.S. House voted Tuesday to remove Kevin McCarthy as speaker after Democrats joined with eight House Republicans to vote for a motion to vacate the chair.
Republican Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz filed the motion to vacate the chair Monday night, which then picked up the support of Democrats. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries “definitively” called for a vote against any procedural motion to delay the motion to vacate the chair earlier Tuesday and also said Democrats should vote to remove McCarthy.
Before the actual vote, there was a motion to table to the vote, which failed with 11 Republicans voting against the motion to table the vote.
The actual vote on the motion to vacate was 216-210. Republican Reps. Gaetz, Bob Good, Tim Burchett, Eli Crane, Matt Rosendale, Andy Biggs, Ken Buck and Nancy Mace voted for the motion to vacate the chair.
“We need a Speaker who will fight for something, anything other than just becoming or staying Speaker. The polls show the public is blaming Biden and the Democrats for an imminent shutdown. If not fight now, when would we fight? Now is and was the time!,” Good said in a speech on the House floor before the vote.
“The thing we have in common? Kevin McCarthy said something to all of us at one point or another that he didn’t really mean and never intended to live up to,” Gaetz said on the floor before the vote.
Earlier in September, McCarthy challenged his GOP opponents to follow through with filing a motion to vacate the chair in a closed-door meeting with the conference, which came after Gaetz criticized McCarthy, giving him a list of demands while threatening a motion for McCarthy to vacate the chair.
“If you want to file the motion,” McCarthy told his GOP colleagues Thursday, “file the fucking motion.”
There will now be votes to decide who the next Speaker of the House will be.

Florida Republicans continue the trend of making relative gains in voter registrations as Republican registrations relative to Democrat registrations increased by 25,445 registrations in August and by 300,518 registrations since the book closing for the 2022 general election. Florida Republicans now have a 606,468 relative registrations advantage over the Democrats. Republican registrations were 37.51% of total registrations and Republicans now enjoy a 4.46% of total registrations advantage over the Democrats (see attached tables).
The Democrats lost 62,986 additional registrations in June, 369,353 registrations since the 2022 book closing, and 701,278 registrations since the 2020 election. The Republican registrations decreased by 37,541 in June, and the number of registrations which are neither Republican nor Democrat decreased by 69,783 registrations in August (see chart).
Every Florida County has had a gain in the Republican percentage of total registrations since the 2022 election (see Table 3)!
Note: There have been some relatively large shrinkages in the number of registrations in Florida Counties. The law was changed to make it easier to shift voters into the inactive voter category, a category where the process of removing voters from the voter rolls is initiated. The decreases in the number of registrations should end when the supervisors of elections complete the job of making the transfers in accordance with the new measures.
The Republican Main Thing
“The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.” — Stephen R. Covey
Keeping the main thing the main thing is great advice. Republicans and Democrats have a differing “main thing” in the pursuit of getting people elected. Which party has the better “main thing”?
Democrats’ “main thing” is to improve their underlying political support by growing the relative numbers in the demographics which tend to vote Democrat. Secondary to this are the Democrat candidates and their associated campaigns. Republicans have chosen candidates, and their associated campaigns, as their “main thing”. Republicans lack any secondary efforts to grow the relative numbers in the demographics which tend to vote Republican.
The Democrats keep their focus on growing the relative numbers in the demographics that tend to vote Democrat and therefore have less concern about having poor candidates. The 2020 Presidential Election is a good example of this strategy. Their poor candidate won the election. They had a similar situation in a 2022 national senate race in Pennsylvania.
This inability of Republicans to win with their “main thing” has been demonstrated in recent losses in Georgia, a state previously carried by the Republican presidential candidate by 5.09% in 2016, 7.80% in 2012, and 5.2% in 2008. Republicans lost Georgia in the 2020 Presidential election by .23%, and two senate elections in a January 5th, 2021, runoff by margins of 1.22% and 2.08%. Republicans had nearly two years to come up with a formula to win back one of the lost Georgia senate seats in the 2022 general election. The Republicans, demonstrating their lack of strategy to grow their base, could not pull it off, losing the senate seat by 2.80%, a larger loss than the losses of early 2021!
A lack of strategy to grow the Republican base causes the Republican 2024 presidential primary effort to being akin to Nero fiddling while Rome burned. Resources which should be used by Republicans to implement strategies to grow the relative numbers in the demographics that tend to vote Republican are instead being used in self-seeking endeavors to become the next Republican presidential nominee. A Republican presidential nominee leading an effort to grow the Republican base by growing those demographics that tend to vote Republican is nowhere to be found!
The reason most Republicans vote Republican is that the Republican Pary is viewed as the party most supportive of The Constitution. The Constitution cannot stand without widespread political support. Republicans have not won the popular presidential vote since 2004, signaling decreasing political support for The Constitution. Republican factions, stuck in the Republican “main thing” paradigm of candidates and their campaigns, are failing to address this challenge to The Constitution.
The true reason for this loss of support for The Constitution is the Democrats having a better “main thing” strategy. The main thing for Republicans is to replace their “main thing” of having a laser focus on candidates, and their respective campaigns, with policy efforts which grow the relative numbers in demographics that tend to vote Republican!
A Much-Needed Republican Effort to Gain the Vote of the Alienated
A politically significant Democrat demographic is those voters who rent their housing. In times of rising home prices, rising interest rates and increasing rents, such as those being experienced since President Biden took office, it is easy to understand why those voters who rent their housing become alienated voters. Higher rents result in renters having less wealth. Homeowners who are shielded from higher interest rates owing to their possession of low-rate fixed interest rate mortgages obtained when interest rates were lower, see their wealth increase as the value of their homes increases and their mortgage payments stay the same.
The inability of renters to purchase housing are generally the result of policies championed by most Democrats, and too often by Republicans, yet it is the Democrats who gain politically by these policies as the Democrats are generally the recipients of the vote of the alienated! The demographic of those who rent their housing is an ever-growing demographic and the primary source of the political gains made by the Democrats over the past few decades! An indication of lost Republican market share is that Reagan lost one state in 1984, George H.W. Bush lost ten states in 1988, George W. Bush lost 20 states in 2000. And President Trump lost 25 states in 2020.
For Republicans to capture the vote of the alienated renter requires Republicans to champion polies that remove impediments to renters becoming homeowners. It should be pointed out to renters that Democrats politically prosper by making it difficult for renters of average means to purchase their first home!
Republican politicians also need to point out these housing related realities to Republican voters to build political support for lower rates of rentership. Republicans should not be seduced by the unearned wealth that homeowners gain by governmental policies that inhibit the real estate market from producing entry level owner-occupied housing.
The biggest accomplishment of Justin Trudeau is that he managed to make Canada a focus of intense international media attention, but not for respectable reasons. Canada’s freedoms are being severely compromised, and it is drowning economically as well. The latest out of Canada: Elon Musk tweeted that Trudeau is “trying to crush free speech“ in Canada.
The proverbial ship has sailed. It has been a long, tough process for patriotic Canadians as they watch Trudeau strip away their freedoms. Musk was responding to a new law in Canada, Bill C-18, that requires social media and streaming services with revenues over $10 million to register with the government, starting in November 2023. Subscription television services which are available online, as well as Facebook, X, Netflix, and Disney, are also included, as are radio stations that livestream online, and podcast services. Individual podcasters need not worry, unless, of course, they make over $10 million in revenue.
The wing of the Canadian government overseeing Bill C-18 is the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC). Details of the requirements can be found here.
Trudeau is beyond “trying to crush free speech” in Canada, as Musk observed. He has already largely succeeded, and has trampled not only the freedom of speech. Other examples of Trudeau’s infringement of the freedom of Canadians include:
Bill C-18 did not suddenly appear in a kind of jump scare. The impetus for it was building over time, and its basis was actually formed under Canada’s anti-Islamophobia Motion, M-103, which “progressives” did everything they could to present as a benign motion which didn’t carry any legal ramifications. Everyone already knew that it wasn’t legislation, but few were willing to address its impact in laying the groundwork for a future bill, which we now see in Bill C-18.
In February, Trudeau’s own appointed Senator David Richards described the prime minister’s sweeping censorship Bill C-11, a precursor to Bill C-18, as “Stalinesque.” Richards called it “an Orwellian attempt to force individuals to comply with government messaging.” Richards’ description may have seemed exaggerated to those who were unaware of Trudeau’s activities, but it was spot-on.
Bill C-18 followed. It was also known as the Online Streaming Act. It was an updated version of Bill C-11, which it incorporated, with an addition: it requires digital giants such as Google and Meta to pay compensation to Canadian news sites to share any of the news content that appeared on their platforms. University of Ottawa Professor Michael Geist characterized it accurately: “Bill C-18 is a shakedown with requirements to pay for nothing more than listing Canadian media organizations with hyperlinks in a search index, social media post, or possibly even a tweet.”
The response from Google, Facebook and Instagram to Bill C-18, when they were asked to compensate Canadian news outlets, elicited a meltdown from Trudeau. Did he really expect social media giants to comply with his shakedown? Meta said it would shut out news in the country, meaning that all Facebook and Instagram users in Canada would be blocked from accessing news on these platforms. Google stated:
We have now informed the Government that when the law takes effect, we unfortunately will have to remove links to Canadian news from our Search, News and Discover products in Canada, and that C-18 will also make it untenable for us to continue offering our Google News Showcase product in Canada.
When Canada’s wildfires broke out and news was fundamental to access, everyone knew exactly whom to blame: Trudeau. But he wouldn’t accept responsibility. Instead, he blamed Meta and Google for supposedly “putting corporate profits ahead of people’s safety.”
Vicky Eatrides, Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of the CRTC, stated:
We are developing a modern broadcasting framework that can adapt to changing circumstances. To do that, we need broad engagement and robust public records. We appreciate the significant participation during this first phase and look forward to hearing a diversity of perspectives at our contributions proceeding in November.
A new bargaining regime to govern the making available of news content The operators of dominant digital news intermediaries to which the Act applies would be subject to a new duty to bargain with eligible news businesses, which may bargain individually or as a group. This duty to bargain would arise when an eligible news business initiates bargaining with a digital news intermediary organization subject to the Act. The bargaining process could involve up to three sequential steps: bargaining sessions; mediation sessions; and final offer arbitration.
Final offer arbitration When digital news intermediaries and news businesses do not reach agreements about making news content available through bargaining or mediation sessions, outstanding monetary disputes may proceed to a final offer arbitration process if at least one of the parties wishes to initiate arbitration. Under this process, an independent panel of arbitrators would select a final offer made by one of the parties.
This gibberish not only establishes powers of the CRTC online to set up an annoyingly inconvenient system in which potential users must now compete in a bargaining process, but it leaves a lot of questions about the players who will be comprising these “mediation sessions” and this “arbitration” on the government side. And beware whenever a government uses terms such as “independent panel,” because they are never “independent”; they end up being staffed with government cronies who are paid by taxpayers to advance the interests of the regime. And as for the sections of Bill C-18 guaranteeing the “freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression,” not even the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms has stopped Trudeau from his encroachments upon Canadian freedoms.
The world is increasingly coming to know what Canadians have been enduring ever since Trudeau came to power in 2015. In a telling gesture, Trudeau shut down the Office of Religious Freedom almost immediately after taking office. Three years later, his government made a change to the Canada Summer Jobs program that required organizations to tick a box affirming that they supported abortion in order to qualify for government funding. The former head of the Office of Religious Freedom, Andrew Bennett, pointed out Trudeau’s “totalitarian tendency,” and he has been proven right.
It was inevitable that Bill C-18 would now require registration with the Canadian government. The CRTC, which has been regulating Canada’s airwaves since 1976, is the reason why Canadian productions are so limited in content. Some would even say they’re boring. There is little room for full creativity. Now the CRTC has expanded online in its attempt to tighten its grip and stymie free expression, after the fashion of China and Iran.
M-103 was passed in 2018. It was cleverly presented as only a motion — not a law — but it was part of the groundwork for something more nefarious: a broad assault upon the freedom of expression. After extensive committee hearings, the Minister of Heritage, who was Melanie Joly at the time, published a document entitled “TAKING ACTION AGAINST SYSTEMIC RACISM AND RELIGIOUS DISCRIMINATION INCLUDING ISLAMOPHOBIA.” It stated:
The Government acknowledges that in order to fully understand the issues and challenges confronting Canada’s increasingly diverse population, comprehensive and high quality data is required to better monitor and target policies to eliminate discrimination and inequalities.
Those policies favored the red-green axis and were grounded in wokeism. They eventually resulted in the appointment of an “Islamophobia Czar“; Trudeau’s absurd designation of the patriotic Freedom Convoy as “racist” (and his subsequent crackdown on them); and the passing of Bill C-11, which promised “greater support for Black, Indigenous and racialized people’s content and viewpoints,” as determined by the woke Trudeau government. A group aligned with Trudeau, the Racial Equity Media Collective, called for a “mandatory collection of race-based data by broadcasters…” Then came a government-funded school booklet that warned the country’s children against the Conservative Party, the freedom of speech and even Donald Trump. The booklet was entitled Confronting and Preventing Hate in Canadian Schools; it was created by the far-left “anti-hate” network led by Bernie Farber, a member of the Trudeau government’s “’expert’ advisory group on online ‘safety.’” Some highlights of this 53-page propaganda booklet:
Freedom of expression is presented as a cover for “hate.”
Trump’s border wall to stop illegals is likewise presented as “hate.”
Mainstream Conservative parties are singled out, and are presented as being “infiltrated” by bigots, “groypers,” and “white nationalists.” The pamphlet actually states: “While the majority of Groypers are white, there are a growing number of youth of colour involved in the movement, as they engage in antisemitism, anti- feminism/misogyny, anti-2SLGBTQIA+, Islamophobia, and anti-Black racism.”
It condemns a “specific Canadian flavour” of the “worldview” that is “seen on many college campuses, often under the banner of “Canada First.”
In a chapter on “hate promoting symbols,” the booklet names the Red Ensign flag as offensive, even though it was used as Canada’s national symbol until 1965.
It condemns concerns about terrorism and crime as “anti-immigrant.”
It references Trump as a “problematic politician” and condemns his border wall as “racist.”
It warns about students who may inquire “why there aren’t any straight pride parades, or a white history month during class discussion.”
Without context, anti-police sentiment is taught; the pamphlet claims that “Black residents are 20 times more likely to be shot by Toronto police than white counterparts.”
The booklet ironically utilizes intersectional tropes and stereotypes “people of colour,” stating that “shared beliefs in misogyny, anti-2SLGBTQIA+, Islamophobia, and anti-Blackness will often attract and unite people of colour to hate groups.”
It heavily promotes the Marxist, anti-nuclear family Black Lives Matter movement.
The Canadian government’s mission was clear by that point, and that mission is now broadening via Bill C-18. Trudeau has severely impaired and is now working to marginalize the freedom of speech. Trudeau, with whom Canadians are stuck until the 2025 elections, is well on his way to crushing that freedom. The leader of Canada’s official opposition Conservative Party tweeted:
We warned that Justin Trudeau’s online censorship law was coming to censor what people can see and say online.
Liberals denied it. Now, it is exactly what they’re doing.
Conservatives will repeal Trudeau’s censorship, and restore freedom of expression online for all.…
As Trudeau tries to extend his egoism and oft-noted totalitarian tendencies beyond the borders of Canada itself, he may be in for a tougher ride than he anticipated. The ongoing controversy with India isn’t about to disappear, especially in light of the fact that India has just ordered Canada to remove 41 diplomats from its Delhi embassy. The Hindustan Times just published a story entitled Elon Musk’s Big Attack On Trudeau Amid India Tensions; ‘Canada Govt Crushing. Now Trudeau must contend with Facebook as well as Musk’s X. Add in the brouhaha over Canadian MP’s giving standing ovation to a prominent Nazi during a Zelensky visit to Ottawa, and the accompanying calls for accountability.

It is time for the Republican Party, the party of Abraham Lincoln, to nominate a black member of Congress to be the 56th Speaker.

The best part about this ruthless move by McHenry is that Pelosi isn’t even in Washington DC right now. She is in California attending the late Senator Dianne Feinstein’s funeral.
“Sadly, because I am in California to mourn the loss of and pay tribute to my dear friend Dianne Feinstein, I am unable to retrieve my belongings at this time,” she said.

“Please vacate the space tomorrow, the room will be re-keyed,” wrote a top aide on the Republican-controlled House Administration Committee. The room was being reassigned by the acting speaker “for speaker office use,” the email said.
McHenry, a close McCarthy ally, was first on his list to become acting speaker after the Californian was booted in a Tuesday afternoon vote.
Only a select few House lawmakers get hideaway offices in the Capitol, compared to their commonplace presence in the Senate.

On September 26, 2023, renowned Russian academic Sergey Karaganov, who is honorary chairman of the Presidium of Russia’s Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, published an article titled “How to Prevent a Third World War” on the “Russia in Global Affairs” website.
The article follows an analysis that Karaganov published in mid-June, in the Russian media outlet Profil magazine, in which he stressed that more than 75 years of relative peace have made Western people forget the horrors of war and stop fearing nuclear weapons. Consequently, their instinct for self-preservation has weakened. “Therefore, it is necessary to arouse the instinct of self-preservation that the West has lost and convince it that its attempts to wear Russia out by arming Ukrainians are counterproductive for the West itself. “We will have to make nuclear deterrence a convincing argument again by lowering the threshold for the use of nuclear weapons set unacceptably high, and by rapidly but prudently moving up the deterrence-escalation ladder,” Karaganov said.
Concluding that Russia may take the “difficult but necessary decision,” to use nuclear weapons, Karaganov added: “For a quarter of a century, we did not listen to those who warned that NATO expansion would lead to war and tried to delay and ‘negotiate.’ As a result, we have got a severe armed conflict. The price of indecision now will be higher by an order of magnitude. But what if they do not back down? What if they have lost the instinct of self-preservation completely? In this case we will have to hit a bunch of targets in a number of countries in order to bring those who have lost their mind to reason. Morally, this is a terrible choice as we will use God’s weapon, thus dooming ourselves to grave spiritual losses. But if we do not do this, not only can Russia die, but most likely all of human civilization will cease to exist.”
In the following article, Karaganov stated: “If strikes – any strikes – are carried out on our territory or the territory of the Republic of Belarus, Americans and their allies should be aware of the fact that, of course, limited retaliatory strikes will follow on the territory of the United States and those countries that dare to attack. But, as I have made it clear many times, including in the previous article, only a madman sitting in the White House who hates his own country, along with a military willing to carry out such an order (which means they also hate their homeland), would risk condemning hypothetical Philadelphia, Boston, or Los Angeles to nuclear fire to confirm the bluff of ‘security guarantees’ for hypothetical Poznan, Klaipeda, Frankfurt, or Bucharest. I hope there are still no madmen in Paris and London. But what do their experts mean by threatening a massive strike on Russian armed forces? However, considering the trajectory of the evolution of Western elites, we may eventually see such madmen at the helm. This trajectory needs to be arrested soon before it is too late, and humanity plunges into a Third World War.”

It was widely reprinted around the world, sparking a tsunami of responses, objections, and debates, tens of thousands of reactions. There was also no shortage of words of support, either.
“I took the criticism coming from some of my compatriots calmly and with a healthy dose of humor. With joy and interest, I welcomed the feedback from my opponents. As a patriot of Russia and a responsible citizen of humanity, as well as an international scholar, I experienced a sense of satisfaction from the awareness that I was successfully performing my moral and professional duty.
“However, the work is just beginning.
“The Active Nuclear Deterrence/Intimidation/Sobering That I Propose Is Aimed Precisely At Preventing A Global Thermonuclear Conflict, And Preferably Any Use Of Nuclear Weapons”
“One of the intermediate goals of this article – which is to revive the discussion of the role of nuclear deterrence in preventing a major thermonuclear war, and a major war in general – has been partially achieved. The professional strategic community and the thinking public in general have started to move away from the lethargic slumber of ‘strategic parasitism.’

“I stand by every word written in the June article. I will reinforce certain arguments and introduce new ones that I did not raise last time in favor of a policy of intensifying nuclear deterrence/intimidation, and sobering up the adversary. But first, I will address the criticism.
“Responding to everyone, especially certain Russian voices, would be out of place. They do not warrant attention, particularly the outcry that I and those who agree with me were calling for the use of nuclear weapons. The active nuclear deterrence/intimidation/sobering that I propose is aimed precisely at preventing a global thermonuclear conflict, and preferably any use of nuclear weapons.
“In my heart, I partly understand the criticism coming from the people who say it cannot be, for it is too terrible to contemplate. But my mind rejects it. Pacifists, including nuclear pacifists, are able to live comfortably, sit and chat in cafes only because warriors fight for them and die. Just like our soldiers and officers are doing now in the fields of Ukraine.
“I am well aware of the theory that nuclear weapons, if used, would inevitably lead to global escalation and the demise of human civilization. Such a possibility does exist, and it should by no means be underestimated. However, without strengthening nuclear deterrence and restoring the fear of nuclear war, including a credible threat of limited use of nuclear weapons, a global war, given the trajectory of global developments, is practically inevitable.
“Yet the automatic escalation from limited nuclear weapon use to a global thermonuclear conflict is a myth. It certainly contradicts the actual plans for using nuclear weapons, as well as official doctrines. In the past, this myth was quite useful.
“Like other experts, I consciously participated in its creation during the Cold War. Inflating these ideas was intended to prevent any major war between nuclear states, although it would seem to contradict the logic of actual doctrines for the use of nuclear weapons. But this crucial function of nuclear deterrence – preventing any major war especially against major nuclear power – did not work. The West has effectively unleashed one.
“By Downplaying The Nuclear Threat, The American Deep State Is Giving Itself Carte Blanche To Conduct An Aggressive And Plainly Reckless Foreign Policy”
“The reaction of officials and semi-officials and experts in the United States was almost appalling. They continued to grossly downplay the likelihood of Russia using nuclear weapons. They keep saying, ‘No, they won’t use them.’ ‘Their (our – S.K.) doctrine (sic) does not provide for the use of nuclear weapons except in response to an attack against the territory of the Russian Federation or its allies or when the very existence of the state is under threat.’ And such a situation doesn’t seem to exist. Our frivolous, if, alas, not irresponsible, nuclear doctrine which was written in a different era in line with prevailing strategic theories (usually coming from the West), and apparently driven by a lingering desire from the past to please others, is being used as a pretext to wage an endless war against Russia to the last Ukrainian.
“Statements by the President, indicating the possibility of using nuclear weapons, are either silenced or ridiculed, and presented as hollow. It is absolutely clear that efforts are underway to politically and psychologically denuclearize Russia and to virtually deprive it of its nuclear weapons, since they failed to do so physically. Westerners are trying to make their latent economic advantage pay political dividends, to wear Russia out, and to provoke an internal split. I don’t pretend to be on the same level as the President, but even my modest article has been labelled as propaganda. It is not. It is an invitation to reflection.
“The downplaying of the threat of nuclear war to justify reckless policies and impose defeat on Russia has reached absurd proportions. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken ranks fourth in the presidential line of succession in case of the president’s death or incapacity to perform his duties. He had the following to say on 30July: ‘The potential threat of nuclear war is no more dangerous than the existential problem of climate change and there is no hierarchy in this regard.’ I was stunned. But it doesn’t end there. Speaking in Vietnam on September 10, President Biden said, ‘The only existential threat humanity faces even more frightening than a – than a nuclear war is global warming going above 1.5 degrees in the next 20 – 10 years…There’s no way back from that.’
“As a fellow citizen of the Earth, I am also concerned about climate change. Humanity will have to painfully adapt to it. But when this change is considered worse than a nuclear catastrophe which will destroy hundreds of millions of lives and undermine our species’ habitat, you understand that we are dealing with a dangerous… I will refrain from using the most fitting term. After all, we are talking about the leaders of a major nuclear power. The fear of nuclear weapons, or of nuclear war in general, must be restored without any further delay.
“Such statements strongly reinforce my arguments about the rapidly deteriorating Western elites’ need for a rude awakening. ‘Nuclear parasitism’ and the declining sense of self-preservation can be clearly seen in what the Westerners are doing and saying with regard to the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant. The Kiev junta is bombing it, and we are repelling the attacks, but we see no protests, to say nothing of mass protests. They hope that if any of these attacks succeeds, small leaks and some casualties will ensue, but they will be able to blame Russia again; the world won’t collapse, and they will be able to go on with their insane policies. They no longer fear radiation, even though it was the most feared consequence of nuclear weapons in the public consciousness.
“A poll conducted by the supposedly reputable Pew Research Center in March showed that the Americans considered cyberattacks, fake news, China and Russia in general, global economic issues, infectious diseases, climate change, and only then nuclear war to be top threats.
“By downplaying the nuclear threat, the American deep state is giving itself carte blanche to conduct an aggressive and plainly reckless foreign policy.”

I was on the witness stand for 8± hours last Thursday (9/28) and 4± hours on Tuesday (10/3), attempting to testify on behalf of attorney John Eastman. I spent an additional 30+ hours in preparation (reviewing old documents, etc.).
For those who are not familiar with Mr. Eastman, I was going to provide a link. When I searched his name online, the first 100± listings of articles were all left-wing propaganda. (That’s one of the reasons I chose to testify on his behalf.) Here is an objective overview I finally found.
This California trial is an attempt to disbar Mr. Eastman. In my view (as a non-attorney) two issues are being debated:
Did John Eastman have a reasonable basis to believe that the certified 2020 Presidential election results of some states, were likely inaccurate?
2 If yes, what should have been his legal advice to VP Mike Pence regarding how such likely inaccurate certifications should be dealt with?
John Eastman says YES to the first question. As an election integrity expert (e.g., see here), I also say YES to the first question. The California prosecutor says NO. (Since I’m not a lawyer or a Constitutional expert, I can’t speak to the second question.)
FYI, here is a reasonable interview with Mr. Eastman about what this trial is about.
There are multiple Left-wing media sources “reporting” on this trial. Unfortunately, again I couldn’t find any conservative source in the first hundred or so Internet search results (using Duck). After quite a bit of additional research, I finally came across the Intellectual Conservative website.
This is run by a conservative attorney, and she has attended all of the six+ week (so far) proceedings of the Eastman trial. She has written several informative commentaries on what has transcribed. Here is a reasonably accurate article about what happened on my first day of testimony. If you are a glutton for punishment and would like to see what is transpiring here yourself, here is an online link to the trial itself. It’s likely to go on for a few more weeks.
Most citizens believe that trials and hearings are about:
uncovering all the relevant facts, and then
making an objective decision based on that information.
If only.
Much of the legal wrangling is about which facts are “admissible” — i.e., allowed to be considered by the court. Sometimes very relevant facts are discarded because a judge (sometimes seemingly arbitrarily) rules that something involved does not meet one or more of a plethora of legal “barriers”. These are things like standing, moot, laches, jurisdiction, etc.
In my case, the prosecution did not want anything substantive I had to say about Question #1 to be considered. Since it would have been a burden to try to disprove the accuracy of my testimony (e.g., about the conclusions of our ten Election Integrity Reports, written by my team of very qualified people), they instead focused on a legal technicality to minimize my testimony. They did not want the court to hear or consider any of my evidence of election anomalies that would support Mr. Eastman.
Their strategy was to assert that I was not an approved expert, so I was not qualified to speak about the conclusions of my own reports (!) or anyone else’s.
To do this, it appeared to me that the prosecution relied on two arguments:
John Eastman’s lawyers had not filed the proper paperwork, at the proper time, in the proper way, to have me officially listed as an “expert.” Eastman’s lawyers disagreed with this assertion, but the Judge upheld the prosecution’s argument.
I did not have a degree in election integrity, or the necessary “qualifications” to be an election integrity expert. The Judge again sided with the prosecution.
I can’t speak to the first objection, other than repeat that John and his lawyers insist that they did file adequate paperwork to have me legally considered to be an expert.
Regarding the second objection, my non-attorney answer is this…
All of our ten major election integrity Reports are about looking at numbers. I have a degree in Mathematics. Further, as a physicist I have had more mathematics classes than statisticians with a PhD would typically have. Additionally, statistics (matters like Bell curves — aka Gaussian distributions, Standard Deviations, etc. ) were frequently covered in many of my physics and mathematics classes, through graduate school. As such, I am very qualified to discuss numbers, plus I have had formal undergrad and graduate education in statistics.
On the first day of my testimony, the Judge asked Mr. Eastman’s lawyer a question something like: “ How can John Droz be an election integrity expert with only three years of involvement?” The attorney didn’t give a very strong answer, so on the second day, he asked me what would my response be? I felt that whether the definition of “expert” was normal or legal, I would qualify.
Regarding the first, Webster’s definition of “expert” is: “one with the special skill or knowledge representing mastery of a particular subject.” To demonstrate that I started listing examples of my extensive familiarity with the election integrity topic (e.g., having read some 1,500 articles and reports just in the preparation of my twice-a-month Newsletter).
However, I was cut off before I finished. The Judge said something to the effect that I was making an argument for being categorized as an expert. Well, yes!
I didn’t get to mention the legal definition of “expert” — so what is that?
TheLaw.com Law Dictionary and Black’s Law Dictionary, 2nd Edition* define an “Expert” as a “Person examined as a witness in a cause, who testifies in regard to some technical matter arising in the case, and who is permitted to give their opinion(s) as to such matter on account of their special training, skill, or familiarity with it.” State v. Phair, 48 Vt. 366 [Also see this definition of an expert witness.]
As a professional physicist, it is indisputable that I have mathematical and statistical training. When this is added to my exceptionally extensive familiarity with the election integrity issue over the last three years, it clearly indicates that I meet the common senseandlegal definitions of an election integrity expert.
However, John Eastman’s prosecutor repeatedly claimed otherwise — and the Judge went along with his objections. You decide whose case is better…

Judicial Watch received the document from the Secret Service in response to a July 28, 2023, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for records and communications of:
a) Director Kimberly A. Cheatle
b) Deputy Director Ronald L. Rowe, Jr.
c) Chief Operating Officer Cynthia Sjoberg Radway
d) Assistant Director, Office of Protective Operations, Michael Plati
On July 28, 2023, Kennedy posted to X (formerly Twitter), “Since the assassination of my father in 1968, candidates for president are provided Secret Service protection. But not me.”
Just last week, Kennedy again requested for Secret Service protection following an incident on the campaign trail involving an armed man impersonating a police officer.
The records obtained by Judicial Watch include a Secret Service “Protective Intelligence and Assessment” that reveals numerous threats to Kennedy (“Behaviors of Interest”):
On April 23, 2023, a known subject [Redacted] submitted an inappropriate comment on the White House website addressed to President Biden [Redacted] stated, “Born to a political family, his twelfth cousin—Robert Kennedy—announces their candidacy to succeed Joseph Biden for ‘President of the United States.’ There’s no way you’d… assassinate former president Donald Trump. `Go get ‘ern, kiddo!” No further USSS investigation was conducted.

A known subject [Redacted] mailed a nonsensical letter to the hotel where Kennedy held his presidential campaign announcement event [redacted] warned a “madman” may commit a “serious terrorist act” and wanted to discuss his sins with Kennedy. [Redacted] is of record with the USSS [Secret Service] since March 2023 after he sent a nonsensical letter to President Biden with similar rhetoric. The USSS investigation is complete.
A known subject [Redacted] sent numerous packages, including gifts and a wedding band, to Kennedy [Redacted] stated that she loves Kennedy and expressed anger about being kept away from him. [Redacted]
A known subject [Redacted] sent materials to Kennedy’s residence. One letter contained a 32-page manifesto in which [Redacted] made nonsensical religious references and described himself as a “commissioned messenger of God.”
A known subject [Redacted] regularly sends threatening emails, stating he will “bury” Kennedy, “everyone will die,” and that he will make Kennedy “suffer.”
A subject [Redacted] sent inappropriate communications to Kennedy. The subject believed Kennedy was spying on him, paying people to follow him, and was responsible for vandalism against him. The subject state “your behavior has complete [sic] freaked me out. Focus on your damn campaign and leave me the hell alone.”
The assessment also notes:
Many comments suggested that, for no other reason than that he is a Kennedy, he would be at risk of assassination. In May 2023, Kennedy received increased media attention after accusing the CIA of involvement in the assassination of his uncle. Kennedy has advocated for the release of the individual currently imprisoned for assassinating his father, Sirhan Sirhan, because he believes a CIA contractor was responsible for the death.
Kennedy has received both support and criticism for his stance on vaccines and has been described as an anti-vaccine activist.
In a July 28, 2023 email chain with the subject line “RFK Jr Says Biden Administration Denied Him Secret Service Protection – The Messenger” Secret Service officials discuss a news article in which Kennedy makes a case for protection.
The chief of communications, whose name is redacted, writes to Michael Plati, the assistant director of Protective Operations, and others: “We’re getting Press calls on this and sending to DHS.”
An official in the Office of Intergovernmental and Legislative Affairs, whose name is redacted, responds: “Request for protection to DHS dated 5/26; Response by Congressional Advisory Board 7 /11; Passed to DHS front office on 7 /14.”
The deputy special agent in charge, whose name is redacted, adds:
[T]he following language was key to the recommendation and subsequent decision.
“Protection under these guidelines should only be granted within one year prior to the general election. Protection more than one year prior to the general election should only be granted in extraordinary, case by case circumstances in consultation with the committee, based on threat assessment and other factors.”
The records were produced earlier this week, the day after Judicial Watch filed a FOIA lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) over similar but broader requests for DHS/Secret Service leadership records regarding the decision to not provide Secret Service protection for Kennedy (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Homeland Security(No. 1:23-cv-02846)).
“The Biden administration’s refusal to provide Secret Service protection to Mr. Kennedy is dangerous and vindictive,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “These FOIA requests and our new lawsuit aim to get the full truth on why Mr. Kennedy’s life is being put at unnecessary risk by the Biden administration.”

Republican Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz blasted House Speaker Kevin McCarthy while making remarks to the press on Monday.
Gaetz filed a motion to vacate McCarthy from his house leadership position on Monday. The move could lead to the house voting on whether McCarthy retains his speakership role. Gaetz has been critical of McCarthy’s deal with the Biden White House to raise the debt limit. He also claims that McCarthy has failed to reduce government spending levels.
A reporter suggested to Gaetz that McCarthy could simply run for the speakership again if his attempt to remove him is successful. That scenario could result in no one having the necessary votes. Gaetz brushed off this potentiality, pointing out that McCarthy needed 15 rounds of votes to become the speaker, and saying he should “take a hint” that he is no longer wanted in the role.
Another reporter asked Gaetz who his ideal replacement for McCarthy would be.
“Look, our number two is Steve Scalise. I think very highly of Steve Scalise. I would vote for Steve Scalise,” Gaetz said.
Gaetz outlined McCarthy’s supposed failures as speaker, including his inability to pass appropriations bills in an efficient manner. He said that it took a “political gun to the speaker’s head” to get appropriations bills passed.
“We’d only passed one of our appropriations bills, the veterans bill,” Gaetz said after slamming the apparent lack of work put in by lawmakers.
“The American people are tired of Washington, D.C., not having a budget, running $2 trillion annual deficits, sitting atop a $33 trillion debt,” Gaetz added.
Another reporter asked him if it is hypocritical to criticize McCarthy for working with Democrats when he will need Democratic votes to oust the speaker. Gaetz stated that the “yellow brick road of working with Democrats has been paved, constructed, engineered, and architected by Kevin McCarthy.”
“Look no further than the debt limit deal, a deal he passed with Democrats. Look no further than the last continuing resolution, which he passed with Democrats. And by the way, if he’s able to stay in power, it will be him working for the Democrats, continuing to do their bidding. So this is a revealing exercise, and I think it will show the country who’s really in charge,” Gaetz said.
McCarthy brushed off Gaetz’s announcement of his attempt to remove him from the speakership, saying that the Florida representative has tried similar stunts before.

By now, in spite of the media blackout, most people probably know that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is running for the presidency. However, many may not know that one of his apparently informal advisors is reported to be a man named Robert Malone, who has risen from relative obscurity in the bosom of the Medical Military Industrial Complex, to prominence in the health freedom movement in just a couple of years.
This is particularly noteworthy, as RFK Jr., founder and CEO of Children’s Health Defense and author of The Real Anthony Fauci—a blistering account of the malfeasance of Big Government in collaboration with Big Pharma in the billion dollar business of marketing often unsafe and ineffective vaccines while protecting the purveyors from liability—is a vehement critic of the US governmental agencies where Dr. Malone has spent much of his career. So the question emerges, whose team is Malone really on: the health freedom movement’s, or the Deep State’s from which he hails?
If the latter, that would place him in the role of “controlled opposition,” i.e. someone who appears to be fighting the good fight alongside his compatriots, but who’s actually there to disrupt things or at least to act as a gatekeeper, keeping the conversation away from truths that could lead others to recognize and effectively oppose their actual enemy.
Interestingly, Malone’s Substack title is: “Who Is Robert Malone?”
So let’s see if we can shed any light on that question.
ENTER ROBERT MALONE
In my 2022 article The Knights of Senator Johnson’s Round Table, I mentioned a number of courageous panel participants, including Drs. Peter McCullough, Pierre Kory, Paul Marik, Harvey Risch, Aaron Kheriaty, and Christina Parks. As to Robert Malone, he seemed to me to be the odd man out, and he himself may have sensed that as well, as reflected in his opening statement on the panel: “A case could be made that whether you agree with what I say or disagree, it’s certainly valid that I should have a role in discussing the current data.”
Now why was he defending his right to join in the discussion when he already had a seat at the table?
Maybe trying to short circuit anyone who might view him as an infiltrator? After all, he makes no secret of the fact that he’s worked in what one might call the Big Med/Big Pharma/Deep State syndicate for decades, rubbing shoulders with Tony Teflon Fauci, as well as members of the DoD (Department of Defense), HHS (Department of Health and Human Services), BARDA (Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority), and Intelligence agencies, and profiting handsomely in the process.
Though many of us have come to realize our three-letter agencies have been largely co-opted and weaponized against We the People, the five-letter agencies: BARDA, DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency), DETRA (Defense Threat Reduction Agency), NIAID (National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease), and the new kid on the block, ACTIV (Accelerating Covid-19 Therapeutic Interventions and Vaccines) are where the sausage is made, out of view of most people, in the bowels of the DoD and HHS. This is where Dr. Malone has spent much of his time working for the government.
“All these Department of Defense and ACTIV affiliations, from our perspective, make Malone deeply mired in the military-industrial complex and the health-industrial complex, involving global public-private partnerships characteristic of globalism and the Great Reset. How Dr. Malone has managed to present himself as a health freedom fighter remains something of a mystery to us.”
In addition to his presence on Senator Johnson’s panel, Malone admits he’s had a seat at another kind of table, the notorious “Tabletop” pandemic wargames à la Event 201—though he’s quick to point out he wasn’t present at that one. Diana West quotes him from an October 2021 interview on Stew Peters:
“Where I’m at now is what we’re observing is a scripted response that has been pioneered in multiple war games by a small cadre of individuals, largely at Johns Hopkins University, largely funded by Bill and Melinda Gates and the World Economic Forum – that’s all true — involving multiple government officials. And as the war games become more sophisticated — and I’ve participated in some of these, too, although not the Hopkins‘ one…” (Emphasis Diana’s)
West goes on to call attention to the one major entity in the “small cadre” behind the scripted “plandemic” sessions missing in Malone’s account: the CIA. She quotes RFK Jr.:
“When I researched my book what I learned was that this [2019 pandemic simulation] event, Event 201, was not a one-time occurrence. We found 20 separate pandemic simulations beginning in 2000. One thing they had in common — most of them Bill Gates was involved in, Tony Fauci was involved in — but every one of them the CIA was involved in. The CIA wrote the script, high-level CIA officials participated in every one of those pandemic simulations.”
Did Malone just forget to mention the CIA’s key role in these “events”?
It’s also interesting to note that in August of 2023 in his talk at the Liberty Forum of Silicon Valley in California, Malone not only referenced the CIA, but blamed both American Intelligence Agencies and “Five Eyes—the alliance of intelligence agencies between the US and UK—for pretty much everything nefarious transpiring in our world today. However, he avoided mentioning, much less blaming, the billionaire globalists behind UN Agenda 21 and Agenda 2030—the “elites” at the top, whom Desmet actually warns us not to blame: The solution to the impasse we are in is not to forcibly eliminate any elite. On the contrary: that is the recipe for self-destruction.
THE INVENTOR OF mRNA VACCINES
To the understandable surprise of many, when he made his sudden appearance in the freedom movement, Malone described himself as the inventor of the mRNA vaccine technology. This raised eyebrows for two reasons: first, because that experimental technology was thought to be harming and even killing people; and second, because such research is typically collaborative with many scientists working on it, as investigative journalist Kelleigh Nelson points out in her article on Malone.
Dr. Joseph Mercola puts it this way: “To be clear, he’s not the inventor of the COVID shots themselves but rather the foundational platform that underlies them, for which Malone holds several patents.” Though perhaps unsurprisingly, Malone’s wife Jill echoes her husband’s claim: “Dr. Malone is the inventor of mRNA vaccines (and DNA vaccines).” Not sure why he’d want that honor at this point, but let’s give credit where credit is due.
In fact, Malone has a point, as outlined in his wife Jill Malone’s in-depth article on The History of mRNA Vaccines and summarized in an article in the Atlantic.
Back in 1988 as a twenty-nine-year-old graduate student, Robert Malone reportedly injected a frog with DNA and RNA and discovered this resulted in a protein forming in its muscle tissue. He authored an important paper on this, and subsequently co-authored a second paper. But then, as often happens in academic settings, apparently bigger fish took over. And Malone has seemingly held a grudge ever since.
In fact, he refers to his experience at the Salk Institute and Vical as “an intellectual rape”—an odd expression, suggesting he felt personally violated and perhaps degraded by his treatment at the hands of these institutions. And he has a credible beef against them, even if, as some say, he did not invent the mRNA vaccine technology, but rather pioneered a new mechanism with potential for use in vaccination. Either way, he deserves credit for his discovery—or blame, as the case may be. Here’s a link to what Jill refers to as his seminal paper on both in-vitro and in-vivo RNA transfection.
Unfortunately, this experience in his youth may have been a formative one for his character. He was quick to perceive himself as a victim, and has seemingly harbored this complaint for over thirty years. “It’s all about Kati,” he gripes, meaning fellow scientist Katalin Karikó of BioNTech who’s received accolades for her contribution to the mRNA technology. In fact, in 2020, he wrote to her that he’d been “written out of history,” and essentially blamed her for taking credit for his invention, closing his email to her with the chilling words: “This will not end well.”
PIVOT NUMBER ONE: FROM THE INVENTOR OF MRNA-VACCINE TECHNOLOGY TO ITS CRITIC
Ironically, Malone has at last found his long awaited glory—among the anti-vax, anti-mRNA freedom-loving crowd—the last place one would have expected. He’s done a 180-degree pivot from touting his brilliance as the inventor of gene-therapy vaccines, to acknowledging that the Covid vaccines were not ready for primetime—but he hedges his bets. As Diana West points out, after Del Bigtree described him as an anti-vaxxer, he told Del he wouldn’t be back on his show, since he’d studiously avoided that description. Fair enough, as he’d spent his entire professional career working on vaccines in one way or another, even under the Fauci at NIAID.
In fact, during 2020 and 2021 while making a name for himself in the health freedom movement, Dr. Malone was apparently quietly working on the development of a new Covid vaccine called RelCovax, for Reliance Life Sciences, a pharmaceutical company in India. Here’s Malone’s video presentation on RelCovax “a second generation multi-valent SARS CoV-2 vaccine candidate designed to meet global vaccination demands.”
And though Malone claims RelCovax is not a genetic vaccine, it is based on “heterologous expression” which Wikipedia describes as: “The expression of a gene or part of a gene in a host organism that does not naturally have the gene or gene fragment in question. Insertion of the gene in the heterologous host is performed by recombinant DNA technology…. After being inserted in the host, the gene may be integrated into the host DNA, causing permanent expression, or not integrated, causing transient expression.” Now I’m no vaccinologist, but it sure sounds like a genetic vaccine to me.
In fact, investigative journalist George Webb writes in a Twitter/X post: Look for Dr. Robert “DARPA” Malone AI generated “novel” bioagents and vaccines to start hitting the market. Looking hard at COVAX and Relcovax. In his two-minute video, Webb says these are next generation novel vaccines that go “from gene to vax” directly without using any cell cultures. What could go wrong? Don’t we need to “protect” the elderly and infirm?
“JAB THE ELDERS”
As Kelleigh Nelson and Diana West both point out, Malone’s on record saying “the vulnerable” should still get the shots, seemingly playing both sides of the street.
In fact, in an interview on Stew Peters from October 2021 as reported by Diana West, Malone described his “balanced approach” this way: “…jab the elders and the ones at high risk.” As Kelleigh Nelson points out, those are exactly the groups the Nazis considered “useless eaters.” I hear the same historical resonance when I read those three words: “jab the elders.” And what vaccines does Malone have in mind for this purpose—the mRNA vaccines he’s apparently acknowledged are flawed? The new “gene to vax” second-generation novel vaccines like RelCovax?
Let’s recall that “the vulnerable” are mostly the elderly. What’s rarely mentioned is that vaccines are most effective when the immune system is robust, as in childhood and teen years, and less effective as people age—especially when they reach old age. It’s called immunosenescence – aging of the immune system. Not to mention the myriad issues with vaccines, wouldn’t therapeutics be a much better way to protect the elderly?
But here’s a more fundamental question: Do we really want to risk more “transient” gene expression, or worse, in a vaccine for what is essentially a mild cold or flu for most people? More needles in more arms sound good to you? Me neither. Thanks anyway, Dr. Malone.
TWO MORE QUESTIONS
Speaking of questions, here’s another: How was it that Malone and his wife were able to write an entire book about the “coming epidemic” of Covid-19 and publish it on February 10th, 2020, a mere ten days after the WHO declared the “novel” coronavirus a global health emergency and only one week after the US declared a public health emergency?
