Did the “cook” use salt, pepper, a bit of thyme, she wondered, and “what fat did they roast it in?” And what were the side dishes that accompanied the main dish — the traditional pommes frites, with ketchup and mayonnaise as condiments, or something else?

A recent Instagram video, posted by an individual using the pseudonym ‘Haneia Nakei’ but identified as Warda Anwar, has sparked outrage and condemnation. The footage contained offensive jokes about a Jewish baby allegedly burned in an oven by Muslim terrorists during the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin has taken legal action in response to this disturbing content, fueling a broader discussion about freedom of speech and the efforts of left-wing governments to restrict it.
The video featured “Haneia Nakei” [the social media alias used by Warda Anwar] jokingly discussing the recent murder of a baby, humorously speculating about the “accompaniments” for the baby’s leg, and even facetiously declaring, “Each time I come across the story of the baby that was put in the oven. I wonder if they put salt pepper, did they add thyme, and what (fat) did they roast it in? And what were the side dishes… You don’t ask yourself the question? I don’t know. The side dish to this baby leg was just a classic plate of fries with a ketchup and mayonnaise. And we marinated it in salt, thyme, and a barbecue sauce, and paprika. Not bad! I think it’s a rather nice menu!” These highly insensitive remarks have provoked widespread outrage by non-Muslims and pro-Israel supporters.
The offensive video prompted swift condemnation from many leaders, including the Israeli ambassador to France, who strongly denounced the “filthy denialist and antisemitic remarks of the young woman.” The Israeli embassy issued a statement calling for the removal of “Warda Anwar” (a.k.a. Haneia Nakei) from social media platforms, such as Instagram and TikTok. The video made light of a grave incident during the Israel-Hamas conflict when Hamas executed over 1,400 people, including babies, pregnant women, and elderly individuals, in a barbaric manner.

Is it conceivable that this kind of grotesque and evil hilarity would not be considered hate speech? It makes light of the murder of a Jewish baby. And think of all the jokes that will now be circulating in “can-you-top-this” competitions on social media, possibly about the kinds of mutilations — the eyes gouged out, the genitalia cut off, the breasts sliced off — that the Israeli victims suffered that day.
The incident highlights the persistent contentious issue of content moderation on social media platforms. It emphasizes the various ways governments exert influence on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat and the increasing pressure placed on them to take action against what governments consider “hate speech” and “offensive” content. Notably, the Israeli embassy has explicitly called for the removal of Warda Anwar’s accounts from these platforms.
Can there be any doubt that Warda Anwar should not just have her accounts removed from social media, but also should be prosecuted for hate speech, and receive not only a stiff fine, but also a prison term, where behind bars (let her sentence be as long as the law allows, and ideally one to be served in solitary confinement), she can indulge her sense of humor to her heart’s content, telling her thigh-slapping jokes to her only audience, the four walls of her cell?

“He is a scion of a family from the Al-Shati refugee camp, and his capital is estimated at $4 million,” Elad says, adding, “He registered most of his assets in the Gaza Strip in the name of his son-in-law, Nabil, and in the name of a dozen of his sons and daughters and a few less well known Hamas leaders. They all have homes in good neighborhoods in the Gaza Strip, where the value of every home is at least $1 million. “Another wealthy Hamas official – Iman Taha – is not on the organization’s highest levels, but he, too, (and other junior managers) is feeding from the trough. According to Elad, “He was a poor rebellious kid from the al-Borg refugee camp, but he recently built a home in central Gaza worth at least $1 million. National Public Radio (NPR) has long been criticized for its biased coverage of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

NPR is running interference for the Hamas terrorist regime, as we can see by its coverage of the deadly explosion near the Al-Ahli Hospital that took place on October 17 in northern Gaza.
Evidence for the cause of the blast pointed to a misfired Islamic Jihad rocket landing in the parking lot, but Hamas used the incident as a propaganda weapon against Israel, declaring through its health ministry that an Israeli airstrike had targeted a hospital filled with civilians who had come for treatment or were taking shelter there, killing many hundreds of Palestinians. Israeli spokesmen immediately denied involvement, arguing that the IDF does not target hospitals and did not fire in that area. They soon provided video footage, photos taken by drones, and intercepted Hamas communications to support their claims.
The Pentagon, National Security Council, Office of the Director of National Intelligence, Senate Intelligence Committee, as well as EU, Canadian and British Intelligence Services and individual munition experts independently uncovered and analyzed evidence that supported Israel’s assessment of the explosion.
Estimates of the number of lives lost in the incident also yielded a far lower number than Hamas claims. A U.S. intelligence report cited by Reuters estimated the death toll as “probably at the low end of the 100 to 300 spectrum” while AFP cited a senior European intelligence official who estimated the death toll as 10-50 people. Hamas never provided any evidence for any of its claims, and the entire event proved to be very damaging to its credibility, exposing its claims as cynical propaganda.
NPR reporters tried to minimize the damage to the terrorist group by refusing to accept Israel’s account of what had happened despite the mounting evidence supporting it. They presented the statistics provided by Hamas unquestioningly and the cause of the explosion as a dueling narrative, giving Israel’s evidenced account equal weight to the unverifiable proclamations of the Hamas terrorist regime.
Reporters frequently cast doubt on Israel’s version of events. For example, on the October 18 edition of All Things Considered,
NPR science reporter Geoff Brumfiel dismissed Israel’s evidence, saying: “The Israeli military has radar data and such. But, you know, they have a stake in saying what happened, controlling the narrative.” And others tried to discredit the support for Israel’s account voiced by the U.S. President, based on the Pentagon, insisting that “NPR cannot verify any of this.”
Instead of referring to additional assessments by international intelligence agencies that came in concurring with Israel’s claim, there was silence on the matter until October 23, when Brumfiel managed to come up with a guest presenting a new revelation that, while insufficient to completely refute Israel’s account, was meant to cast overall doubt on Israel’s version of events.
This new revelation, however, was not corroborated by any other legitimate source. It seems to have originated with a post on X (Twitter) announcing the results of a “joint investigation” by Forensic Architecture, Earshot NGO, and Al Haq, none of whom are impartial observers. It was then promoted by Iran’s Fars news agency, the propaganda arm of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Brumfiel did not disclose the origin of the claim, introducing it as legitimate evidence that cast Israel’s version of events into question. It was a way of keeping alive the notion that Israeli guilt had not yet been definitively ruled out. Nor did the reporter disclose the partisan affiliation of its sources, all of whom are notorious for their anti-Israel activism and/or affiliation with Palestinian terrorist groups, or that that his guest was a BDS activist.
Actor Jon Voight took a swipe at his daughter Angelina Jolie over her recent comments on the Israel-Hamas war.
Voight released a video Friday, saying that his daughter did not understand the conflict in Israel. He said that Jolie had “no understanding of God’s honor” and did not grasp how the attacks from terrorist group Hamas could destroy “the land of the Jews.”
“This is justice for God’s children of the holy land,” Voight said in reference to the ongoing Israel-Hamas War.
He said that the Israeli army must protect their land, despite the protests from the left, citing the “inhuman terror” from Hamas. He noted that those arguing that Israel is the “problem” should look inwards to reflect on God’s “truths.” He said that those who see the truth understand that Israel is the victim in this conflict, and that women, children and babies were unjustifiably massacred on October 7th.
He also added that Palestinians, “are not being neglected” and that they have been given large “infusions of money” that they’ve allocated to building weapons instead of providing for their people. He continued that even though everyone should want peace, there’s no way to achieve such goals with “animals” such as Hamas attacking Jews and Christians to eliminate them from the Earth.
He lamented on the “lie” that Israel is holding citizens of Gaza hostage, when they are “free to go.” Conversely, Voight claims that Hamas uses the Palestinian civilians as “shields” during their military conflicts against the Israeli Defense Force (IDF).
“These children of Palestinian soil are being used by these animals to make all think that Israel is taking lives, when indeed this was Hamas’ plan to create the war of evil versus good,” he said.
He added that Hamas initiated the attacks on Israel which lead to the current war, and that the Jewish people who have endured oppression and hardship for centuries are fighting to defend themselves. He stated that Israel, “the land of purity God’s promise” will win the war.
Celebrities have been outspoken about the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. A whole slew of entertainers, including Gal Gadot and Jerry Seinfeld, signed onto an open letter condemning the Hamas attacks in the wake of the October 7th attacks. Weeks later, Hollywood heavy-hitters urged Biden to secure the release of hostages in Gaza.

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani met with Iranian leadership in a show of support for Hamas one day after he met with Secretary of State Antony Blinken, according to multiple reports.
Blinken traveled to Baghdad on Sunday to express concerns to al-Sudani about increased attacks by Iranian-backed militia groups on U.S. troops stationed in Iraq, according to the State Department. al-Sudani met with Iranian leadership one day later in Tehran to praise Hamas’ Oct. 7 terrorist attacks and denounce Israel’s counteroffensive, according to a press release from Iran Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s office.

During their meeting, al-Sudani described Hamas’ Oct. 7 attacks as a “heroic operation.” “Despite this joy [referring to the Hamas Oct. 7 attacks], we are all deeply devastated by the brutal massacre in Gaza, which is a collective revenge on the people of this small region,” al-Sudani said.
al-Sudani also met with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and criticized the U.S. for supporting Israel’s “crimes against humanity and genocide,” according to a press release from Raisi’s office. The two agreed that a broader regional conflict could only be avoided if Israel halts its counteroffensive. “Those who want the scope [of] this crisis not to expand to all over the region, must put pressure on the Zionist regime to stop this aggression and organized killing,” al-Sudani said on Monday.
During his visit with Blinken a day prior, al-Sudani “made very clear” that he condemns attacks by Iranian-backed militias against U.S. troops stationed in Iraq, according to a press release from the U.S. Embassy in Georgia. There have been 47 attacks on U.S. targets in the Middle East, including Syria and Iraq, since Hamas carried out its attacks against Israel on Oct. 7.
“I had a good, productive, candid meeting with Prime Minister al-Sudani,” Blinken told reporters on Sunday. “It was very important to send a very clear message to anyone who might seek to take advantage of the conflict in Gaza to threaten our personnel here or anywhere else in the region: don’t do it.”
The State Department did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.

The idea that is “Israel is losing the media war” or “Israel has to step up its PR game” (!) is a false premise. You cannot win in a fixed game. You cannot win when the deck is stacked against you.
At this point, it’s life or death for Israel and it is my fervent hope that Israel stops subduing and supplicating itself to the annihilationist forces that are working furiously to see its end.
The blood libels and false news is coming from the media and inside the tech industry.
Software giant Adobe has been caught selling AI-generated images of the Israel-Hamas war, as first spotted by Australian news outlet Crikey, a shocking and morally reprehensible instance of a company directly profiting from the spread of misinformation online.
A quick search on the company’s Adobe Stock website — a service that offers subscription customers access to a library of generic stock images and now AI-shots as well — for “conflict between Israel and Palestine” comes up with photorealistic images of explosions in high-density urban environments that closely resemble the real-life carnage currently unfolding in Gaza.
Another image shows a “mother and child in destroyed city in Palestine Israel war conflict,” a devastating framing that was entirely AI-generated. In fact, it’s one of a series of 33 images that all show a similar composition.
These images all appear to have been submitted by Adobe Stock users and were seemingly not generated by Adobe itself.
However, while they’re technically tagged as being “generated with AI,” a requirement for all user-submitted works, some of these images are already making their rounds on other parts of the web, as Crikey found, which could easily mislead unsuspecting members of the public.
After all, without closely examining these images for telltale signs of having been generated by an AI, like misaligned windows or mismatched lighting and shadows, they could easily pass for the real thing.
AI image generators like OpenAI’s DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, and Midjourney have made massive technological leaps over the last 12 months. Long gone are the days of obvious glitches or horrifying animal monstrosities.
Consequently, AI-generated images are getting huge amounts of visibility online. Earlier this year, Futurismfound that the top image result on Google for the name of famed realist artist Edward Hopper was an AI fake.
Instead of treading into the world of generative AI carefully, Adobe has chosen to embrace the tech with enthusiasm.

he adage that “journalism is the first draft of history” understates the impact that journalists have on the present, given that their reporting can change perceptions and public discourse in a way that shapes the history being recorded in that first draft.
The media’s ethical duties and challenges are among the greatest when it comes to reporting on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, an issue plagued by misinformation and disinformation, and where passions are inflamed by reports that can quickly affect events on the ground. Compounding those concerns is the broader geopolitical context of reporting in the Middle East, a volatile region of proxy wars, terrorism by state and non-state actors, and nuclear weapons and proliferation.
Failures to adhere to journalistic standards can perpetuate the Israeli-Palestinian conflict by creating a moral equivalence between Hamas and Israel that leads global public opinion and world leaders to pressure Israel into allowing a baby-burning terror group at its doorstep to prepare for the next round of war, within months after the latest round of violence, rather than allowing Israel to defeat Hamas once and for all.
Through defamatory allegations of “genocide,” anti-Israel activists add to the global pressure on Israel that prevents it from militarily eliminating the Hamas threat, a necessary step towards any improvement in the lives of both Gazans and Israelis, given Hamas’ commitment to killing all of the Jews in the world (as the organization clearly states in its charter). So while activists and the media outlets that quote them (like Al Jazeera) ignore the very genocidal elements in Hamas’ foundational document, they will absurdly allege that Israel is engaged in a “genocide” against Gaza, but never explain why such a powerful army needs nearly two decades and multiple wars to accomplish this “genocide,” when the Israeli military could easily do so in a day.
It is Israel’s own extraordinarily high ethical standards that have prevented it from committing “genocide,” despite countless vicious Hamas attacks whose barbarism has gotten progressively worse over the last few decades, culminating in the October 7th slaughter of 1,400 Israelis, which is the equivalent of almost 52,000 deaths in the USA – about seventeen September 11s in one day, or about 1.3 times the 39,000 people killed by the nuclear bomb over Nagasaki. And the horrific savagery of those murders even in far smaller numbers would likely prompt most militaries in the world to act far more aggressively and decisively than Israel has thus far. Indeed, it is the many battlefield advantages that the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) concedes to its enemies, in order to comply with the IDF’s exceptionally high ethical code, that have led observers, including British military expert and war hero Richard Kemp, to note that the IDF is the most moral army in the world. In the October 9, 2009 debate on the infamous Goldstone Report issued in the wake of Operation Cast Lead, Colonel Kemp asserted that “the Israeli Defense Forces did more to safeguard the rights of civilians in a combat zone than any other army in the history of warfare.”
Yet journalists quickly forget these ethically crucial details and too often fail to provide critical context for those trying to gain a meaningful understanding of the conflict and the moral character of each side. And the international community – fueled by the unethical and/or sloppy reporting of so many journalists – forces Israel into accepting military half-measures that simply bring a temporary “quiet” to the region. Tragically, the international pressure for cease fires that allow the root problem of Hamas to fester have proven to be utterly counterproductive, even from the perspective of those claiming to care about the Palestinians, because leaving Hamas in power condemns Gazans to indefinite suffering with only brief respites that end as soon as Hamas decides once again to launch violent attacks against its northern neighbor.
But bad journalism does more than perpetuate the conflict – it actually aggravates it. By omitting crucial context or publishing inflammatory rumors rather than verified facts, the news media fuel a dangerous strategy preferred by Palestinians: inciting fury on the Arab street (often by claiming that Jews are endangering the Al-Aqsa mosque or grossly exaggerating Palestinian casualty figures, as with the 2002 libelously labeled “massacre” in Jenin). The more the Arab street is enraged by misleadingly incomplete or patently false news, the more likely an already combustible situation can quickly spin out of control, with more attacks on Israel by “lone-wolf” attackers, terrorist groups, and/or Arab states feeling public pressure to jump into the fray (as is the current concern with Lebanon, a failed state that is effectively ruled by the Iran-backed terror group Hezbollah).

I have to say I like this guy more and more. But he missed the juxtaposition which someone really should do, and we certainly would a few years ago when the time allowed for it. The clips of the police not doing anything about calls for genocide next to clips of the met police arresting or harassing people for thought crimes like, calling a horse gay, arresting a singer of a cover band for singing Kung Foo Fighting, masking a joke on Twitter about transsexuals, a lengthy trial and conviction of one man for retraining a pug to offer a paw when he hears ‘Hail Hitler’ instead of ‘shake a paw’ as a prank on his girlfriend for saying pugs are so cute that nothing they could ever do wouldn’t be adorable. Yes he got jail time for that. These things need to be juxtaposed with police failure to stop genuine hate crimes like calls for genocide and death to jews etc. Probably nothing would expose a central aspect of the dialectic better than that kind of selective enforcement.

The definition of religion is a controversial and complicated subject. I am not going there. Yes, there are different denominations of faith, but I am not talking about organized religions. For me it is my faith in God. For many individuals, religion is their personal belief and connection with God. The tyranny is depriving you of that freedom. Judaism, perhaps, the most victimized denomination of human beliefs persecuted by politics. You know how the Gestapo was managing the Jews: by gas chambers and mass graves. As some of you may know, I started a Substack to allow for some different materials and ideas to be published with also the hope that a few people might get a paid subscription as a few have mentioned they would like to support this work, but are allergic to PayPal. Anyway, so far the focus of the Substack has been to revive older videos I either shot myself, subtitled with the awesome team from Gates of Vienna, or just saved over the last 16 years or so that have been removed from the net and are now perhaps even more relevant and important than they were then. The problem with being too far ahead of the curve on a topic like leftism or Islam, is that the average sleeper cannot take it seriously since its effects aren’t within the 50mm focal length of the average human eye sight.
Since October 7th people seem to be a lot more willing to consider the issue of Islam than they were on October 6th though.
In 2016, ACT4Canada brought Robert Spencer to a secret location in Montreal, (yes it was already so bad in 2016 that you couldn’t have a gentle and scholarly critic of Islam speak publicly) to give a talk on the nature of Islam. Of course that has as far as I know, been removed from the internet.

But below is one question to Robert from that talk on the Islamic view of agency, which I personally think is one of the most critical aspects of the difference between Islamic thought and Western Judeo-Christian-Greco-Roman thought. In other words, who do Muslims blame for events and why? Especially when it comes to criticism of Islam, and women on sexual matters.
This question of Agency cuts to the heart of much of the conflict between Western and Islamic thought.

Ella Emhoff made a post promoting a fundraiser “supporting urgent relief for Gaza’s children,” according to the New York Post. The 24-year-old influencer made no mention of murdered Israelis since Hamas’ terror attacks Oct. 7 despite having a Jewish father, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff.
“It’s of tremendous concern and I find it abhorrent,” Republican New Jersey Rep. Jeff Van Drew said. “To be honest with you, I am kind of stunned by it. It’s disturbing to the maximum degree.”
The fundraiser operated by the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund, accumulated $7.8 million in donations so far, the outlet reported. The nonprofit based in Kent, Ohio has made more than $21 million in 2021, according to ProPublica.
“Ella is not Jewish,” a representative for the second stepdaughter told The Forward in 2021. “It’s not something she grew up with, Ella truly has no qualms with the faith, but she does not want to speak on behalf of Judaism, as she does not celebrate herself.”
Ella Emhoff appeared at New York Fashion Week as a model. The second stepdaughter exposed her left breast to photographers in 2022 while modeling a shear, lime-green “top” equivalent to a wrapped scarf around her neck and chest.

Muslims believe that any land that was once part of the Islamic domain must return to it, based on the Quranic principle of “drive them out from where they drove you out.” Hence, even if Israel were as small as a suburban front yard, it would not be acceptable to Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, or other Palestinian groups. The conflict is rooted in the religious duty of Muslims to regain any land they consider historically theirs.
Understanding Key Terms: Dar Al Harb and Dar Al Islam
Spencer explained the key terms “Dar Al Harb” (House of War) and “Dar Al Islam” (House of Islam). These terms illustrate the Islamic concept that the House of Islam must expand at the expense of the House of War, with warfare being the means of achieving this expansion. The green flags of Islamic countries represent the continuous growth of Islam, in contrast to other ideologies that diminish over time. This ideology fuels the belief that Israel must be reclaimed for Islam, irrespective of its size or any concessions made.
Why the U.S. Supports Israel
Spencer clarified the reasons for the United States’ strong support for Israel. He pointed out that Israel faces the same jihadist threat that led to the September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States. Therefore, forming an alliance of nations threatened by jihad should have been the logical response, as it would create a more coherent and effective web of alliances than the remnants of Cold War-era alliances.
The United States was one of the first countries to recognize Israel’s independence in 1948, and Israel remains the only free society in the region, guaranteeing equal rights to all its citizens. Given that the U.S. and Israel uphold the values of freedom and individual rights, it is only natural to support Israel, which is its most reliable and like-minded ally in the region. Spencer emphasized that Israel serves as the United States’ most reliable and like-minded ally in the region, a partnership that enhances the interests of both nations.
Widespread Support for Hamas and “From the River to the Sea” Chant
Spencer addressed the widespread support for Hamas among Palestinians, dispelling the misconception that most Palestinians reject the organization. He referenced a poll indicating that a significant majority of people in Gaza still support Hamas. Even more extremist groups, such as Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, enjoy even greater support among Palestinians.
Spencer delved into the provocative chant, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” explaining that it is a call for the complete destruction of Israel. The chant represents a fundamental rejection of Israel’s right to exist.
“Khaybar Khaybar ya yahud,” Chant
The interview also covered the chant, “Khaybar Khaybar ya yahud.” Spencer provided historical context, explaining that the chant is a threat that recalls a massacre carried out by Muhammad and his followers in the town of Khaybar against the Jews. This chant is intended to instill fear and symbolizes a call for violence against Jews.
The Fallacy of the “Occupation”
Spencer dismissed the notion of Israel’s “occupation” as a fallacy. He clarified that no occupation existed, historically or at present. To be occupied, someone must own the land first. Spencer highlighted the history, beginning with the Ottoman Empire and the British Mandate for Palestine, which was created to establish a Jewish national home in the region. He underlined that Israel is the only rightful claimant to the land, and its concessions for a Palestinian state prove its commitment to peace, even if reciprocated by violence.
The Myth of “Liberating Al Aqsa Mosque”
Spencer debunked the myth that Al Aqsa Mosque needs liberation. He explained that Al Aqsa Mosque is open to all Muslims for prayer, and there are no restrictions on access. It is a falsehood propagated to incite violence and advance the Palestinian propaganda machine’s narrative that Israel is attempting to destroy the mosque.
Understanding “Islamophobia”
Spencer elaborated on the term “Islamophobia,” highlighting its relatively recent coinage in the 1990s. He emphasized that the term is employed to stigmatize criticism of Islam, creating an unwarranted sense of bigotry, racism, and hatred around it. While the concept of “Islamophobia” is often used to denote vigilante attacks on innocent Muslims, Spencer underscored that there is no corresponding phenomenon of irrational hatred or persecution of Muslims throughout history. Six Christian charity workers were attacked on July 19 as their convoy traveled near the town of Damasak in the northeastern state of Borno in Nigeria.
One of the drivers was killed while one staff member, two drivers and three health care workers were kidnapped. All work for an NGO called Action Against Hunger (ACF), a charity that aims to end life-threatening hunger and malnutrition across nearly 50 countries.
Islamist insurgents released a video of the six Christian aid workers begging for their lives after being kidnapped by a jihadist group.
In the video, a woman wearing a blue hijab says, “My name is Grace, I work with Action Against Hunger an NGO in Borno state. My base is Damasak. We went to work on Thursday the 18th of July, 2019 outside Damasak.”
“On our way to going back to Damasak, by Kinnari Chamba ward in Damasak we were caught by this army called the Khalifa. They brought us here and actually we don’t know where we are,” she continues.
Holding back her tears, she said they all have families and feared being killed, calling on the ACF to do something about their freedom.
She begged the Nigerian government to act on their release to avoid being killed as in the cases of some “ladies caught” who “were told to ask to be released but because Nigeria did not act they were killed.”
“I also want to call on Nigeria that we are Nigerians; we are also working for Nigeria. I beg that the Nigerian government should help please, and please,” she said.
Some reports assert Grace referenced Leah Sharibu, a Christian schoolgirl kidnapped by Boko Haram, and Alice Ngaddah, a Christian mother of two kidnapped in a separate attack.
Sharibu was taken from the Government Girls’ Science and Technical College in Dapchi in 2018. Her classmates were released; however, because she refused to renounce her faith, Leah remained captive. Ngaddah, a mother of two and UNICEF worker, was taken captive in 2018 and “is now our slave,” the Boko Haram group said.
Hauwa Liman and Saifura Khorsa were murdered by the Islamic State’s West Africa Province (ISWAP) in 2018. Last October, the militants killed midwife Liman, 24, after her employer, the International Committee of the Red Cross, refused to pay a ransom. A month earlier, Boko Haram murdered Khorsa, another Red Cross midwife.

Since launching the war against Israel on October 7, 2023, Hamas has kept up an ongoing incitement campaign calling on the people of the West Bank to aid Gaza by opening up their own front against Israel. On October 12, 2023, for example, Hamas official Husam Badran urged all those with weapons in the West Bank to “take immediate action,” stressing that “the [West] Bank is the front most capable of aiding Gaza, before we request aid from outside.”[1]
Much of this incitement is spread via social media, especially Telegram, which serves as a convenient platform for Hamas’ calls for terror attacks in the West Bank, as it did before the outbreak of the war.[2] Many Telegram accounts that belong to or are affiliated with the terror organizations post messages that encourage the people of the West Bank to carry out shootings, stabbings, car-ramming attacks and other attacks against Israelis. Especially conspicuous in this context are accounts affiliated with Hamas’ student organization, the Islamic Bloc, which call to wage terror and “launch a jihad war” against Israel.[3] Similar incitement appears on platforms of other Palestinian terror organizations, including the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, the military wing of Fatah, which is the ruling party in the Palestinian Authority (PA).

Hamas Spokesperson For Jerusalem Affairs Calls For “High-Quality” Terror Attacks
An announcement by Muhammad Hamada, Hamas’ spokesperson for Jerusalem affairs, posted on the movement’s Telegram account in the West Bank, read: “The role of the West Bank and of its uprising against the occupier and its settler gangs is vitally important and has great impact on the Al-Aqsa Flood campaign… Every opportunity must be taken to attack the enemy’s strongholds, military posts and settlements. I call on the rebelling young people to summon each other and come together on every road and in every area, and carry out effective, high-quality attacks to teach the enemy a lesson he will never forget…”[4]
Islamic Bloc In West Bank: Go Forth And Wage Jihad
The Telegram channel of the Islamic Bloc in the West Bank is rife with posts inciting terror against Israel. On October 22 it shared a video documenting Hamas’ use of drones during the October 7 attack, with the text: “Gaza produces many [military] inventions despite the siege. Who will be the first in the West Bank to launch a suicide drone at an enemy checkpoint or settlement? It’s not difficult.”[5]
An October 27 post said: “Every city, town, village, refugee camp, neighborhood and lane, go forth and cry ‘Allah Akbar.’ Let each person go out and block roads by whatever means he prefers. [You can] prepare a firebomb, a knife, a gun or an M16 [rifle] and set an ambush. Come with whatever you have, do not be among those who stayed back [from the war]… ‘Go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah’ [Quran 9:41].”[6]
West Bank Youth Coalition: Schools, Universities Must Be Enlisted In The Struggle
On October 30, 2023, the Hamas-affiliated Shehab News Agency posted on its Telegram channel a statement by “the [West] Bank Youth Coalition” which included incitement similar to that of the Islamic Bloc, such as the following:
“’Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory [Quran 22:39].’
“Oh the multitudes of our great people in the occupied [West] Bank, [who are] the direct continuation of Marwan Zalloum [commander of Fatah’s Tanzim militia in Hebron, killed in April 2002] and of Abdullah Al-Qawasma [commander of the Hamas military wing in Hebron, killed in June 2003]. Oh legacy of [Ibrahim] Al-Nabulsi [head of the Nablus-based Lions’ Den militia, killed in August 2022]… who urged you not to put down the gun… Oh all the youth of the West Bank, oh lovers of [the Lions’] Den, the [Jenin] Brigade and the [Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam] Brigades. Oh revivers of the confrontation… Oh young men and women of the occupied West Bank… Now it is our turn, go forth for the sake of Allah. Continue the glorious campaign of our people in Gaza and the West Bank, in the spirit of struggle and of solidarity with our people everywhere, and out of loyalty to the pure blood of our martyrs and of the heroes of the glorious crossing [of the border] on October 7, [2023]…
“[The time has come] for the youth to start collecting tires and burning them at the friction points, for pure and skillful hands to begin filling Molotov cocktails, for each one of you to don a scarf [to hide his face], and for the courage and revolution of the [West] Bank to be restored.
“Your brothers, the [West] Bank Youth Coalition.”[7]
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades Call For “General Mobilization” Of Anyone With A Weapon In The West Bank
Calls to perpetrate terrorist attacks in the West Bank also appeared on a Telegram channel affiliated with Fatah’s military wing, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades. An October 31, 2023 post read, “General mobilization… ‘Go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah’ [Quran 9:41]… [This is] a call for everyone who has a weapon in the West Bank and Jerusalem: [take up] a knife or carry out a car ramming attack… The headquarters of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades calls for a general mobilization and for delivering blows at every friction point with the Israeli enemy [in the West Bank], in order to help our brothers in Gaza. Be as one body…”[8]
Some Telegram accounts are devoted exclusively to inciting terror in the West Bank, such as the “Wanted”[9] account and the “Rebelling Youth” account,[10] which appear to be affiliated with Hamas.[11] Numerous campaigns on these channels post instructions for the construction and/or use of various weapons, such as knives, firebombs and IEDs, or for carrying out different kinds of attacks, such as a suicide attack on a bus.

Iranian TV host Maryam Ghasemi presented the results of a viewer poll taken on a Channel 1 (Iran) daytime show that aired on October 28, 2023. The poll asked whether it is time for “the cancerous tumor that is the Zionist regime” to disappear from the face of the earth, and the two options given as answers were “yes” and “definitely.” Ghasemi said that the results of the poll show that the time for “the annihilation of the Zionist regime has arrived.” She added that all 6,070 people who voted in the poll are ready to go Gaza in support of the people of Gaza.
Ghasemi: “Let’s move on to today’s poll and to the votes that you, dear viewers, have cast. In the live count, you can see that more than 6,650 of you have voted for it. It is only the beginning and we are here until 1:30. The high vote count of the poll is really great. It shows that the [time for] the annihilation of the Zionist regime has arrived.

Since the 2017-2018 school year, the number of parents homeschooling has increased dramatically. With the rise has come pushback from state educators like Hillsborough County School Board member Lynn Gray who said parents don’t have “any understanding of education.” As far as Gray is concerned, this increase in homeschooling is going to hurt society. In my view, homeschooling is not an easy choice, but it is often far more rewarding. This isn’t coming from the perspective of a biased parent, but from a biased child who has experienced both homeschool and public school.
I was homeschooled until 8th grade. Even then, my middle school was very small on an American army base in Germany. Life up to this point was vibrant and full of enriching experiences, since my parents involved me and my siblings in activities in church, sports, choir, theater, and co-ops. I learned a lot from my mom’s teaching. My experiences contradict the stigma that homeschooling hurts a child’s social skills or hinders their learning. For me, it wasn’t until I started was enrolled in a much larger high school in the U.S. that it became harder to be as involved in the community.
The public school routine felt hectic compared to my homeschool routine, and not many of my teachers seemed to have my best interest in mind. From my freshman year of high school to my senior year of college, I experienced liberal teachers imposing their beliefs, experienced bomb and active shooter threats to the school, and saw a lot of students (and teachers) who didn’t seem to care at all.
I know not every public school experience is like mine, but a lot are, and all I can say is the spike in homeschooling is both good and necessary— especially as woke ideology continues to infiltrate the educational system.
According to The Washington Post, “Home schooling has become — by a wide margin — America’s fastest-growing form of education.” The Post collected data from 32 states (which represents 60% of the country’s school-aged population) and found “the number of home-schooled students increased 51% over the past six school years,” with a 4% drop in public school enrollment. Another poll also found that school choice has bipartisan support from 88% of Democrats and 83% of Republicans, making it a rare form of consensus in a very divided country.
Since the 2017-2018 school year, even liberal states have seen dramatic increases in homeschooling — California increased 78%, NYC 103%, and D.C. 108%. These statistics defied the predictions that homeschooling would decrease after the pandemic.
With this spike, the Post noted concerns from critics who claim there is no governmental supervision over homeschooled students. Elizabeth Bartholet, a professor at Harvard Law School, said, “We should worry about whether they’re learning anything.” This professor also claimed homeschooling “poses real dangers to children and to society.” However, while there were many parental concerns that led to this boom, including school shootings and bullying, about half of the parents taking their kids out of public school are due to concerns with radical leftist ideology. I can say firsthand that this is taking place, but it doesn’t take much searching to see it. It stands to reason the only “danger” increased homeschooling poses is to the Left’s agenda.
On Wednesday’s episode of “Washington Watch,” Family Research Council President Tony Perkins and FRC Senior Fellow for Education Studies Meg Kilgannon unpacked the trend further. Aside from the fact that increased homeschooling saves taxpayers’ money, Kilgannon emphasized how the Post presents “a picture to a particular audience about home schooling that is not a positive one.”
She continued, they’re doing this because “the Left doesn’t have children. They have our children. So, they can’t indoctrinate our kids if we’re keeping them home.” Perkins agreed, emphasizing the importance of parents practicing vigilance, “knowing that there’s a policy around the corner coming in to try to limit your ability to teach your children or influence [them].” In fact, we are seeing this in public school transgender policies, where lawmakers openly argue parents don’t know what’s best for their kids.
For Kilgannon, this rise in homeschooling will likely result in more state attempts to “regulate it more and more.” She added, “[I]n the end, it’s generally about the money, but it’s also about the access to children’s minds.” Perkins and Kilgannon both agreed that homeschooling is worth the effort. “You know,” she pointed out, “you can control the quality of the education, you can control the content of the education, and you get to spend time with your favorite people, your kids. … So, there’s not a lot of downside.”
Perkins shared how he and his family have “no regrets” for homeschooling their five children. He concluded it’s about “sharing your values with them and preparing them to not just compete in the workforce, but to be able to survive and thrive in a culture that’s growing increasingly hostile to faith and values.”
