Homeschooling Is ‘America’s Fastest Growing Form of Education,’ Experts Say

By Family Research Council

Since the 2017-2018 school year, the number of parents homeschooling has increased dramatically. With the rise has come pushback from state educators like Hillsborough County School Board member Lynn Gray who said parents don’t have “any understanding of education.” As far as Gray is concerned, this increase in homeschooling is going to hurt society. In my view, homeschooling is not an easy choice, but it is often far more rewarding. This isn’t coming from the perspective of a biased parent, but from a biased child who has experienced both homeschool and public school.

I was homeschooled until 8th grade. Even then, my middle school was very small on an American army base in Germany. Life up to this point was vibrant and full of enriching experiences, since my parents involved me and my siblings in activities in church, sports, choir, theater, and co-ops. I learned a lot from my mom’s teaching. My experiences contradict the stigma that homeschooling hurts a child’s social skills or hinders their learning. For me, it wasn’t until I started was enrolled in a much larger high school in the U.S. that it became harder to be as involved in the community.

The public school routine felt hectic compared to my homeschool routine, and not many of my teachers seemed to have my best interest in mind. From my freshman year of high school to my senior year of college, I experienced liberal teachers imposing their beliefs, experienced bomb and active shooter threats to the school, and saw a lot of students (and teachers) who didn’t seem to care at all.

I know not every public school experience is like mine, but a lot are, and all I can say is the spike in homeschooling is both good and necessary— especially as woke ideology continues to infiltrate the educational system.

According to The Washington Post, “Home schooling has become — by a wide margin — America’s fastest-growing form of education.” The Post collected data from 32 states (which represents 60% of the country’s school-aged population) and found “the number of home-schooled students increased 51% over the past six school years,” with a 4% drop in public school enrollment. Another poll also found that school choice has bipartisan support from 88% of Democrats and 83% of Republicans, making it a rare form of consensus in a very divided country.

Since the 2017-2018 school year, even liberal states have seen dramatic increases in homeschooling — California increased 78%, NYC 103%, and D.C. 108%. These statistics defied the predictions that homeschooling would decrease after the pandemic.

With this spike, the Post noted concerns from critics who claim there is no governmental supervision over homeschooled students. Elizabeth Bartholet, a professor at Harvard Law School, said, “We should worry about whether they’re learning anything.” This professor also claimed homeschooling “poses real dangers to children and to society.” However, while there were many parental concerns that led to this boom, including school shootings and bullying, about half of the parents taking their kids out of public school are due to concerns with radical leftist ideology. I can say firsthand that this is taking place, but it doesn’t take much searching to see it. It stands to reason the only “danger” increased homeschooling poses is to the Left’s agenda.

On Wednesday’s episode of “Washington Watch,” Family Research Council President Tony Perkins and FRC Senior Fellow for Education Studies Meg Kilgannon unpacked the trend further. Aside from the fact that increased homeschooling saves taxpayers’ money, Kilgannon emphasized how the Post presents “a picture to a particular audience about home schooling that is not a positive one.”

She continued, they’re doing this because “the Left doesn’t have children. They have our children. So, they can’t indoctrinate our kids if we’re keeping them home.” Perkins agreed, emphasizing the importance of parents practicing vigilance, “knowing that there’s a policy around the corner coming in to try to limit your ability to teach your children or influence [them].” In fact, we are seeing this in public school transgender policies, where lawmakers openly argue parents don’t know what’s best for their kids.

For Kilgannon, this rise in homeschooling will likely result in more state attempts to “regulate it more and more.” She added, “[I]n the end, it’s generally about the money, but it’s also about the access to children’s minds.” Perkins and Kilgannon both agreed that homeschooling is worth the effort. “You know,” she pointed out, “you can control the quality of the education, you can control the content of the education, and you get to spend time with your favorite people, your kids. … So, there’s not a lot of downside.”

Perkins shared how he and his family have “no regrets” for homeschooling their five children. He concluded it’s about “sharing your values with them and preparing them to not just compete in the workforce, but to be able to survive and thrive in a culture that’s growing increasingly hostile to faith and values.”

PODCAST: Speaker Mike Johnson — Too Biblical For The Media?

By Family Research Council

Fourth time is a charm when it comes to electing a new speaker of the house. After three GOP members failed attempts, Rep. Mike Johnson of Louisiana cinched the speakership position, winning the House majority with 220 votes. Having kept a low profile for most of his political career, Rep. Johnson has received a lot of press since his climatic rise to speaker of the house.

While being known by his colleagues as a servant leader and man of deep biblical convictions, mainstream media has had quite a heyday deciding who this new speaker is.

Host Joseph Backholm is joined by The Washington Stand’s Jared Bridges and FRC’s Quena Gonzalez to discuss Johnson’s biblical beliefs and how the mainstream media are choosing to portray him. From being called a radical right extremist to a Christian nationalist – listen now and discover for yourself who Speaker Johnson is!

Elite University Hosting Biden Center Took Money From School That Settled With US Gov’t Over Alleged Hezbollah Ties thumbnail

Elite University Hosting Biden Center Took Money From School That Settled With US Gov’t Over Alleged Hezbollah Ties

By The Daily Caller

The University of Pennsylvania, which hosts the Penn Biden Center, took hundreds of thousands of dollars from the American University of Beirut (AUB) in 2022, roughly five years after AUB paid a settlement to the United States government in connection with its alleged ties to Hezbollah, a U.S.-designated terror organization.

UPenn received $474,947 from AUB in 2022, with the donations earmarked as “Education/Tuition/Scholarship,” according to a 2021-2022 foreign gift disclosure obtained via a Freedom of Information Act request. AUB settled a lawsuit with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Manhattan, paying $700,000 and promising to revise its policies, following a suit alleging the university assisted organizations linked to Hezbollah, Reuters reported.

Hezbollah is an Iranian-backed terror organization that has attacked U.S. and Israeli embassies, was implicated in the assignation of a Lebanese prime minister and has carried out suicide bombings, according to the Council on Foreign Relations. The United States designated Hamas as a foreign terrorist organization in 1997, according to the State Department.

Federal prosecutors said that AUB admitted to training members of al Nour Radio and al Manar TV, media outlets designated by the U.S. Treasury Department as branches of Hezbollah in 2006. “Al Manar and al Nour are the media arms of the Hizballah terrorist network and have facilitated Hizballah’s activities,” a press release from the Treasury Department reads.

“Hizballah” is an alternative way to transliterate “Hezbollah.”

The media organizations solicited donations for Hezbollah, aided in the terrorist group’s recruitment efforts and had their budgets managed and overseen by the secretary general of Hezbollah, according to the Treasury Department.

Prosecutors also said that AUB connected students to Jihad al-Binaa, a construction company the Treasury Department says was “formed and operated by Hizballah.”

AUB provided video production and blogging training to representatives of terrorist-linked groups alongside journalists, Reuters reported.

Some American universities have partnered with Israeli-designated terror organizations or had ties with Palestinian colleges that released pro-Hamas statements. Nonprofits financed by George Soros paid out millions to fund a partnership between Bard College and a Palestinian university that praised Hamas the day after the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks, law schools encouraged their students to work at organizations deemed to be terrorists by the Israeli government and Georgia State University cut ties with a college in the West Bank after the Daily Caller News Foundation reported on it praising deceased Hamas terrorists.

The University of Pennsylvania didn’t refer to Hamas as a terrorist group following the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks until after a prominent donor said his family would cut off financial support to the university.

UPenn received millions in donations from Chinese donors tied to Hunter Biden.

The Penn Biden Center, established on Feb. 8, 2018, in honor of now-President Joe Biden, exists to “convene world leaders, develop and advance smart policy, and strengthen the national debate for continued American global leadership in the 21st century,” according to its website.

While UPenn received money from Chinese donors linked to the president’s son and AUB, there is no way to know whether that money funded the Penn Biden Center.

The University of Pennsylvania and AUB did not respond to the DCNF’s requests for comment.

Jew-Hater Tlaib Blasted Online for Calling for the Extinction of Israel thumbnail

Jew-Hater Tlaib Blasted Online for Calling for the Extinction of Israel

By Discover The Networks

Fox News reports that Muslim Antisemite Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MN) released a video demanding President Biden support a cease-fire to stop “the genocide of the Palestinian people” or face electoral consequences in 2024.

Tlaib’s post on X (formerly Twitter) condemned Biden’s declaration that the U.S. stands with Israel and opposes a cease-fire, telling him, “the majority of the American people are not with you on this one. #CeasefireNow.”

The post also included a video of scenes from Gaza and protests in the U.S. The video ended with Tlaib saying to the camera, “We will remember in 2024,” before the words “Joe Biden supported the genocide of the Palestinian people,” appeared on the screen along with a demand for him to immediately support a cease-fire “or don’t count on us in 2024.”

Social media users blasted Tlaib for her Jew-hatred.

The Spectator contributing editor Stephen Miller shared a screenshot of the video’s “From the river to the sea!” shot and asked, “Hi congresswoman, hey kind of a newb to all of this. What does this mean exactly? Thanks for any clarity you can provide.”

That Palestinian chant represents a call for the extermination of the Jewish state.

Digital strategist Greg Price commented, “It appears that Rashida Tlaib is endorsing the genocide of Israel while accusing Biden of supporting genocide.”

Former comms person for Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, Steve Guest wrote, “In case you were wondering just how antisemitic Democrat Rep. Rashida Tlaib is, look no further than this. Not only did she make a video supporting the vile ‘from the river to the sea’ chant, she accused Joe Biden of supporting genocide.”

“She’s actually calling for the annihilation of Israel and genocide for me and my family, as well as all other Jews here. So yes, we will remember in 2024,” Jewish columnist Nadav Eyal explained.

Journalist Jim Treacher wrote, “Liar. I can’t wait till you go back to the private sector to hate Jews.”

Urges Muslims at CAIR Event to Help Democrats Win Senate

In an online “vote-a-thon” co-hosted in December 2020 by the Georgia chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Georgia Muslim Voter Project, Tlaib claimed that Muslim voters in Georgia had been given an opportunity from “Allah” to help elect Democrats Raphael Warnock and Jon Osoff to the U.S. Senate in their upcoming runoff elections, and to thereby give Democrats a majority in the upper chamber of Congress.

“I hope that you realize just the opportunity here that Allah has given us to show the power of Muslims in Georgia,” Tlaib stated. “I want people to be like, oh my God, I didn’t even know Muslims are in Georgia… Exactly! Because we’re going to show them in droves of numbers… I want to, mash’allah [what Allah has willed] be able to say, ‘Look at the voting in these precincts and guess what? It was the Muslim vote that delivered Georgia.’” Other noteworthy figures who spoke at the CAIR event included Ilhan Omar and Linda Sarsour.

No Cease Fire Israel. Keep Fighting! thumbnail

No Cease Fire Israel. Keep Fighting!

By Geoff Ross

To the Jewish communities that feel the intense pressure of persecution from the left wing globalist communists as you defend yourselves from the satanic forces of Hamas remember this.

Your enemies tried to defeat you in ancient times and failed. Then they tried in medieval and modern times and they failed.

The pharaohs tried to destroy you, the Assyrian’s tried to destroy you, Babylon tried to crush you, the Roman’s tried to eliminate you, the NAZIs tried to eradicate you, the Soviet Union tried to destroy you, Osama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, the Mueller’s of Iran, all tried to eliminate you from the face of the earth.

Jewish friends, the Pharaohs are no more, Assyria crumbled, Babylon has evaporated, the Romans are gone, the NAZIs were wiped out.

Israel, you will prevail. You are the lion of Judah.

Yesterday IDF forces encountered a terrorist squad that came out of a tunnel shaft. In response, the fighters fired shells at the terrorists and killed them.

Until our families are back home.
Until the last Hamas is non-existent. pic.twitter.com/lxkO4sL8WQ

Take back all your lands and do not worry about the globalist sheep who are screaming at you for a cease fire just keep fighting and crushing your enemies.

Tell the left wing globalists who demand a cease fire.

Once the barbaric subhuman satanic Hamas has been wiped off the planet only then will you consider such a thing.

After falsely claiming ‘white supremacists’ were top terror threat, FBI top dog Wray now warns of Hamas attacks in U.S. thumbnail

After falsely claiming ‘white supremacists’ were top terror threat, FBI top dog Wray now warns of Hamas attacks in U.S.

By Jihad Watch

This malignant clown is just covering his tracks. For years he has been lying, claiming that “white supremacists” constituted the nation’s chief terror threat. This was a thinly veiled attempt to criminalize and destroy all political opposition to the Biden regime in the U.S. But now he can’t ignore the jihad threat any longer, and with attacks likely in the U.S., he has to pretend he is on top of the situation. In reality, the FBI has been in denial about the nature and magnitude of the jihad threat for years, and almost certainly will not be able to stop future jihad attacks in the U.S., because it is still so ideologically blinkered and politicized that it doesn’t even know what to look for.

FBI Director Wray warns terror threat to Americans at ‘whole other level’ amid Hamas-Israel conflict

by Adam Shaw and Brooke Singman, Fox News, October 31, 2023:

…”The reality is that the terrorism threat has been elevated throughout 2023, but the ongoing war in the Middle East has raised the threat of an attack against Americans in the United States to a whole other level,” Wray told lawmakers on the Senate Homeland Security Committee….

“We assess that the actions of Hamas and its allies will serve as an inspiration, the likes of which we haven’t seen since ISIS launched its so-called caliphate several years ago,” Wray said. “In just the past few weeks, multiple foreign terrorist organizations have called for attacks against Americans and the West.”…

“We also cannot and do not discount the possibility that Hamas or another foreign terrorist organization may exploit the current conflict to conduct attacks here on our own soil,” he said.

He also pointed to concerns about threats posed by Hezbollah as well as Iran – which supports both Hamas and Hezbollah – and noted their histories of support of terror and criminal operations.

“Given that disturbing history, we are keeping a close eye on what impact recent events may have on those groups’ intentions here in the United States and how those intentions might evolve,” he said, citing cyber-targeting of American interests by Iran and other foes….

A DHS spokesperson said this week that the U.S. remains in a heightened threat environment and recent events reinforce that.

“As the Israel-Hamas conflict continues, we have seen an increase in reports of threats against Jewish, Muslim, and Arab communities and institutions. Lone offenders, motivated by a range of violent ideologies, pose the most likely threat. We urge the public to stay vigilant and to promptly report suspicious activity to local law enforcement,” the spokesperson said in a statement.

Sadistic Biden Regime Announces ‘Country’s First National Strategy to Counter Islamophobia’ as Muslim Rioters Chant ‘Death to the Jews Across America

By The Geller Report

Beyond the pale.

As Muslims across the country take to the streets in death marches calling for the extermination of the Jews and create a pogrom-like atmosphere on college campuses, the illegitimate regime comes up with this doozy. This after the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust and a breakout of anti-Jewish marches on American college campuses nationwide.

Islamic Jew hatred is fueling the unprecedented rise in antisemitic riots and violence across the Western world and Muslim world and the Biden regime’s top concern is islamophobia. Evil.

Statistics from the FBI from previous years, as well as more recent NYC hate crimes show over half of religious hates crimes are against Jews (less than 10% are against Muslims.) Worse still, much of the hate crimes against Jews are incited by Islamic Jew hatred.

“Islamophobia” as Christopher Hitchens once said “a word created by fascists, used by cowards, to manipulate morons.”

Any criticism of jihad terror that examines its ideological roots in Islam is called Islamophobia, The word is used to intimidate people into thinking there is something wrong with opposing jihad terror. This deforms our response to terrorism by placing off-limits any examination of its guiding ideology, and effectively enforces Sharia blasphemy laws in the US by placing Islam, Quran, Muhammad beyond criticism.

Watch as Muslims dancing around threatening people with a knife in Birmingham, Canada is now so common, people sort of laugh instead of screaming and running for cover.

According to the @FBI director, Jews make up 2.4% of the US population but are the targets of 60% of hate crimes. This is why it is apparently important to fight Islamophobia according to the White House.

— Gad Saad (@GadSaad) November 1, 2023

Islamophobia.” It is nothing less than the imposition of Islamic law, the most brutal and inhumane legal system on the face of the earth. For the enemies of freedom, telling the truth about the sharia and jihad terror in all its various guises is stigmatized as “Islamophobia.”

The very word “Islamophobia” is a fictional construct, as journalist Claire Berlinski explains:

“The neologism ‘Islamophobia’ did not simply emerge ex nihilo. It was invented, deliberately, by a Muslim Brotherhood front organization, the International Institute for Islamic Thought, which is based in Northern Virginia….Abdur-Rahman Muhammad, a former member of the IIIT who has renounced the group in disgust, was an eyewitness to the creation of the word. ‘This loathsome term,’ he writes, ‘is nothing more than a thought-terminating cliché conceived in the bowels of Muslim think tanks for the purpose of beating down critics.’”

The term “Islamophobia” itself is an enforcement of Islamic blasphemy laws. Islamic law commands that there be no candor about Islam or criticism of Islam. Any truthful statements about Islamic supremacism and violence are considered blasphemy. (From my book, Stop Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance).

Amid an unprecedented wave of anti-Semitism all over America, the Biden White House decided that now was the time to announce the “first ever national strategy to counter Islamophobia”

60% of hate crimes last year targeted Jews.

Just 9% targeted Muslims. pic.twitter.com/zlroioMdMp

— Greg Price (@greg_price11) November 1, 2023

The term “Islamophobia” was designed specifically for the Western mindset of liberal white guilt, stealing the “civil rights” narrative from black Americans and mining the “oppression” Native Americans – even throwing in the specter of the Japanese internment camps during World War II. These are the clubs Islamic supremacists in the West use to beat down their opponents. Islamophobia is the knee-jerk smear thrown at anyone who dares to speak out or push back against the encroaching Sharia, the appeasement of Islamic supremacists demands on the secular marketplace, and the restriction of free speech.

In reality, “Islamophobia” is nothing more than a term that Islamic supremacists use to enforce what they can of Islamic blasphemy laws in the West: in Islamic law, to defame or insult Muhammad or Islam is blasphemy, and in many Muslim countries it’s punishable by death. There are daily reports of death sentences handed down in Muslim countries for perceived insults to Muhammad or Islam. Recently a doctor was charged with blasphemy because he threw away the business card of a Muslim whose name was Muhammad.

Thus the term “Islamophobia” was invented as a variation on the Muslim playing of the “race card,” which they also do frequently, despite the fact that Islam is a religion not a race. The trick is to portray 1.5 billion Muslims as victims – so that now anyone who speaks candidly or honestly about jihad, about Islamic misogyny, gender apartheid, or other human rights abuses that are sanctioned by Islamic law, is smeared with the nonsensical charge of “Islamophobia.

JUST IN: As Jewish students are being targeted and attacked on college campuses across the nation by left-wing radicals, VP Kamala Harris has launched a strategy to counter Islamophobia.

Hezbollah Founder Demands Iran Leader Khameini Attack Israel thumbnail

Hezbollah Founder Demands Iran Leader Khameini Attack Israel

By Discover The Networks

Hezbollah founder Subhi al-Tufayli said in a video that recently surfaced from last month that Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was a traitor for not launching attacks against Israel as Israel targets Hamas terrorists inside Gaza.

The segment, which was flagged and translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), comes after Hamas murdered 1,400 Israelis, wounded 5,300+, and kidnapped approximately 240 people in an unprecedented terrorist attack last month.

“Khamenei, you are a servant!” Al-Tufayli yelled on his YouTube channel. “You are an enemy of Allah and His Messenger! You are the killer of Muslim children. You are [like] the killer of [Abdallah] the baby in Karbala. You are worse than Yazid. More hateful and despicable than him.”

“Where are you with regard to Gaza? What are you doing with regard to the children of Palestine?” he continued. “For whom have you prepared all those weapons in Lebanon? Don’t say: ‘Me, me, me, me…’ These are the excuses of traitors and we know them all. You are responsible before Allah for every child you kill in Gaza – even more than the Zionists and the Americans. That ruler in Tehran is the enemy of Muhammad and Ali. They are happy for the killing of Muslim children.”

Al-Tufayli wanted Iran to give the orders to its terrorist proxy groups throughout the region to launch attacks against Israel to stop them from rooting out the terrorists inside Gaza.

“The price paid in Syria and Iraq – hundreds of thousands were killed by you and your allies in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen. If only you paid some of this price in Palestine.”

“You are saying that the circumstances do not allow this,” he continued. “So how come the circumstances allowed you attack our innocent people in Syria, who are ruled by that ape who lives in [Damascus].”

Preachers of Hate — The Islamists Who Want to Kill Us thumbnail

Preachers of Hate — The Islamists Who Want to Kill Us

By Kenneth R. Timmerman

I’ve heard so many commentators call the Hamas terrorists animals. I’m sorry. Animals are not capable of hate. Only humans are.

The Hamas terrorists who ripped babies out of the wombs of their mothers and massacred children and old people are possessed by evil. They are doing the will of the Evil One. And they are doing it in the name of an ideology, political Islam.

I wrote about this in my 2002 book, Preachers of Hate: Islam and the War on America.

It was the first book published after 9/11 to examine the doctrinal roots that motivated the 9/11 attackers, al Qaeda, and Hamas.

It began years earlier with a trip to Gaza, where Rabbi Abraham Cooper of the Simon Wiesenthal Center suggested that I interview Muslim clerics and ask them about the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

I met with senior members of Hamas – all of them now dead, thanks to Israel. I met with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, and the top cleric at al Ahzar in Cairo, the oldest university in the Muslim world, established more than 1000 years ago.

All recited the Koranic verses that Jews were the sons of monkeys and pigs. All called for the extermination of the Jewish state. All called for Islam to become the sole religion of the world.

And yes, all of them showed me their copies of the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” claiming that it was the Jews plan to dominate the world.

Friends, this is what we are facing.

This is not a war for territory. It’s not a war about politics. This is a war of good versus evil.

The Evil One has been unleashed and he is rampaging in Gaza. He is rampaging is Ukraine. He will soon be unleashed to rampage elsewhere, I am sure.

I commend all of you to read Preachers of Hate. It is probably my most important, and most neglected book.

There you will hear in their own words the beliefs of these top Muslim clerics.

These men – and yes, they are all men – all believed that the 2001 attacks on America were justified because we Americans are the same as the Jews, who were reviled by Muhammad, the prophet of Islam.

We are to be  crushed and exterminated, because we uphold the Judeo-Christian tradition that has brought freedom, dignity, and prosperity to so many parts of the globe.

They want to destroy us, make no mistake. They want to start by destroying Israel, because it is close. But they also want to destroy America.

Do not mistake this. The Jews are the canaries in the coal mine. When you hear these new barbarians screaming in the streets of London – and of Stanford, Manhattan, and Ithaca, New York – for “Palestine to be free from the river to the sea,” understand that next, they will chant for the destruction of the America of our forefathers, of the America of our constitution.

They are already doing it. Just listen to the Professors of Hate that my good friend David Horowitz has profiled over the years. We have turned our universities over to this new breed of “Preacher of hate.”

It’s time to turn the tide. that starts in Israel. But it mustn’t stop there. We have a reckoning here in America awaiting us.

I will discuss this, and the state of play in Ukraine and the reasons behind the timing of the Hamas attack on October 7 on Prophecy Today Weekend. As always, you can listen live at 1 PM on Saturday on 104.9 FM and 550 AM in the Jacksonville area, or by using the Jacksonville Way Radio app.

Hamas terrorist: Shot crying children ‘until we didn’t hear noise anymore’

The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) released an interrogation video on Wednesday of a captured Hamas terrorist, who participated in the Oct. 7 massacre in Kfar Aza, a kibbutz in southern Israel.

“The mission was simply to kill. We weren’t supposed to kidnap, just kill,” Hamas operative Omar Sami Marzuk Abu Rusha told Shin Bet agents. “To kill every person we see and come back.”

Asked if he was told to murder women and children as well, Abu Rusha said: “Yes.”

“They told us that all the settlers were soldiers. There were soldiers among them. Kill every single one you see,” he said.

In the six-minute interrogation tape, the terrorist calmly describes murdering young children hiding in a safe room.

“We heard sounds of young children,” he said. “The cries of young children. A young child, something like that.”

“I shot and Abu Kamil shot. We shot at the door,” he added. “Until we didn’t hear noise anymore.”

The Shin Bet agent asked him what the difference was between him, given he had an order to kill from Hamas’s Nukhba commando forces and ISIS.

“In the things the interrogator showed me, there is no difference, in the things I was shown,” Abu Rusha admitted. “I saw videos worse than ISIS. The ones the interrogator showed me.”

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei: Death To America Is Not Just A Slogan, It Is A Policy thumbnail

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei: Death To America Is Not Just A Slogan, It Is A Policy

By Middle East Media Research Institute

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said in a November 1, 2023 address that aired on Channel 1 (Iran) that “death to America” is not just a slogan, it’s a policy. He continued to say that Western countries could not “make excuses” for anti-Israel and anti-American protests in England, France, Italy, and the U.S., and this is why there are claims that Iran was behind rallies in England. Khamenei mockingly asked whether these rallies were organized by the London Basij or the Paris Basij.

Ali Khamenei: “The situation between America and Iran is this: When you chant ‘Death to America!’ it is not just a slogan – it is a policy. I have stated the reasons previously. For many years, from the 1940s to the 1970s – that is 30 years – the Americans did everything they could do against the Iranian nation. They hit Iran in any way they could – financially, economically, politically, scientifically, and morally.

“If it were not for America’s support, if it were not for the support of U.S. weapons, the corrupt and artificial Zionist regime would have been destroyed in the first week. It would have collapsed. The Americans are behind this.

[…]

“In Western countries – in England, France, Italy, and various U.S. states – people took to the streets in large numbers, chanting slogans against Israel and in many cases, against America. This tarnished [Western] reputation. They really do not have any remedy for this. They cannot make excuses for this. That is why we saw some idiot saying that Iran was behind the rallies in England. Perhaps the Basij in London is behind this… Or maybe the Basij of Paris.”

Article In Qatari Daily ‘Al-Sharq’: Arabs Must Punish West For Supporting Israel By Imposing Oil Embargo On It thumbnail

Article In Qatari Daily ‘Al-Sharq’: Arabs Must Punish West For Supporting Israel By Imposing Oil Embargo On It

By Middle East Media Research Institute

Qatar | Special Dispatch No. 10926

In an October 31, 2023 article in the Qatari daily Al-Sharq, journalist Rabi’a bin Sabbah Al-Kuwari called to punish the U.S. and Europe for supporting Israel by imposing an oil embargo on them, stating that oil a weapon “more powerful than military weapons.” It should be mentioned that, in the same issue, Al-Sharq published an interview with Hamas official Moussa Abu Marzouq, who likewise called to withhold oil from the West. He enjoined the Arabs to “pressure the U.S. and its interests in the region the way [Saudi] King Faisal did in 1973 [i.e., by means of an oil embargo],” and added that “if the U.S. feels that its interests in the region are threatened, it will consider restraining the Israeli enemy.”[1]

The following are translated excerpts from Al-Kuwari’s article: [2]

“If the Arab countries stop supplying oil to Europe and the U.S., it may teach the governments and the people of these countries many lessons and cause them to rethink their unreserved support for the Zionist enemy. The martyred Saudi king Faisal [bin Abd Al-Aziz Aal Sa’ud, 1906-1975] used this weapon during the 1973 war, when the world sided with Israel, and it proved to be the best decision [and the best] way to subdue the countries that are hostile to the Palestinian cause at every juncture and in every place.

“When Russia’s war with Ukraine broke out, the prices of oil and gas rose, and the Western countries began to suffer an economic downturn. These countries learned their lesson and the true scope [of their influence] in times of crises and wars. The Arabs must [now again] take such a collective decision to punish the West and cause it to recognize the value of human [life], regardless of nationality. On October 16, 1973 OPEC decided to cut oil production and ban the export of crude to the Western countries, especially to the U.S. but also to Holland, which at the time was arming the Zionist entity and allowing the U.S. to use its airports to aid Israel.

“Sadly, the Arab governments are still divided today, and, moreover, normalization with the Zionist entity has become widespread…

“We need a brave decision to formulate a joint Arab policy in order to defend our causes, especially since we have the strongest weapon at our disposal, namely the weapon of oil, which is undoubtedly more powerful than military weapons.”

British University Plans to Offer Masters in Witchcraft, Magic, and Occult Science thumbnail

British University Plans to Offer Masters in Witchcraft, Magic, and Occult Science

By Family Research Council

“Witches are back, and they want academic credit,” said Dr. Albert Mohler, president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, in a recent episode of his podcast “The Briefing.” Mohler discussed the University of Exeter in England, which plans to offer a master’s degree in witchcraft, magic, and occult science by fall of 2024. And they aren’t alone. America’s Rice University also has a Gnosticism, Esotericism, and Mysticism certificate from its Department of Religion involving magic, ritual, and witchcraft.

Mohler discussed how these are “universities that once understood the universals, the good, the beautiful, and the true, to be held together within the Christian worldview, which Jesus Christ is the unity of all truth.” But we are now in a time, he added, where Christ is removed as the unity of all truth, and these universals have been divided, which leads to programs centered around “ancient paganism.”

Professor Emily Selove is the director of the new program and said “a recent surge in interest” from students has led to the development of the degree. “Magic and the occult inside and outside academia lies at the heart of the most urgent questions of our society,” she claimed. The university’s website states the program will take place in the Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies, which is meant to help students understand “the Arabo-Islamic cultural heritage back where it belongs” by focusing on “decolonization, the exploration of alternative epistemologies, feminism, and anti-racism.”

According to Selove, the classes are meant to “allow people to re-examine the assumption that the West is the place of rationalism and science, while the rest of the world is in a place of magic and superstition.” Mohler observed, “This is what happens when society is progressively evacuated of Christian content. … The resulting space is not a vacuum.”

For Mohler, the practice of witchcraft and the occult “feeds into” the culture’s current secular obsessions of gender and sexuality. Joseph Backholm, senior fellow for the Center for Biblical Worldview, told The Washington Stand, “The interest in magic isn’t surprising or new. Witchcraft was specifically condemned in Deuteronomy, and King Saul consulted the Witch of Endor in 1 Samuel.”

He explained how humans are “wired with an interest in the supernatural,” and are “born with a desire to be connected to the divine.” However, he added, our sinful nature is what makes us hesitant to submit to the Creator through a relationship with Him. For Backholm, “[M]agic is sometimes where we turn when we want access to supernatural power but we don’t want to submit to anyone. It creates the illusion of power with control.”

He continued, “Of course, all supernatural power that is not from God is from Satan. It’s real power, but it comes at a tremendous cost that isn’t disclosed up front.” Backholm affirmed that the West has been long “impressed with its … commitment to rationality,” and stated it’s “less inclined toward magic for the same reason it is becoming less religious.” As Backholm put it, what we see in our society is growing materialism, which denies that “anything exists beyond what we can see and touch.”

“But ultimately,” he concluded, “Satan’s goal is just to keep the crown of God’s creation — humanity — from knowing their creator. Both atheism and magic accomplish that goal, so Satan is happy with either choice. Atheism is for those who think something can come from nothing and magic is for those who can’t quit shake the idea that there is something more but still want to be in charge of themselves.”

Cornel West Rants Against ‘Genocidal’ Israel in Pro-Palestinian Rally thumbnail

Cornel West Rants Against ‘Genocidal’ Israel in Pro-Palestinian Rally

By Discover The Networks

Dr. Cornel West, radical professor-turned-independent presidential candidate, delivered a speech at a pro-Palestinian rally on Saturday in which he ranted against the “genocidal” existence of the state of Israel.

In a video West posted to his own Twitter/X account, he declared:

Let the word go forth here and now, that we stand with our brothers and sisters and siblings dealing with unbelievable assault and attack, genocidal on the one hand, but 75 years of it, and we still stand tall, they still stand tall, ’cause any time, yes, any time everyday people straighten their backs up they’re going somewhere, because folk can’t ride our back unless it’s bent, and we are standing in solidarity.

The reference to “75 years” is a reference to the creation of the State of Israel in 1948. The claim that its very existence constitutes “genocide” is an inversion of history, and implies that Israel is illegitimate and should be destroyed.

Later, West declared:

Don’t let any of these mainstream folks try to manipulate you and say you hate Jewish brothers and sisters — you hate an Israeli occupation! You hate an Israeli genocidal attack on our precious siblings, Palestinian siblings in Gaza! … And some of us will be faithful unto death! Just like those in Gaza and faithful unto death!

Israel is attacking Hamas and other terror organizations in Gaza, while encouraging civilians to take refuge in safe zones in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. The call to fight “unto death” echoes the slogans of many of those same terror organizations, which are attempting to stop Palestinians from fleeing and would prefer death to coexistence or surrender.

Not once in the video did West condemn Hamas, or terror against Israeli civilians, though he did call for learning “how to live with Israeli brothers and sisters.”

West also marched in the same rally holding a banner depicting “Zionism” as a snake, a common theme in antisemitic imagery.

The Litany of “I Still Can Believe. . .” thumbnail

The Litany of “I Still Can Believe. . .”

By The Catholic Thing

On bad days, I still can believe. . .

That convenience is an intrinsic good
That inconvenience is an intrinsic evil
That ease and comfort are the ends of life and the means to heaven
That eating, exercise and entertainment could be all-fulfilling
That earthly success reflects spiritual merit
That he who dies with the most toys wins

That, really, Martha had the better part
That her sister Mary Magdalene got the easier deal
That what I do is more important than what I am

That when Jesus said “My kingdom is not of this world,” He was kidding
That because He was kidding, we can make everything in this world perfect

That bourgeois suburban values are deeply Catholic
That self-giving is for others
That more money would make me happier
That more fame and recognition would make me happier
That more power and influence would make me happier

That intellectuals know more about reality than shopkeepers, landscapers, construction workers, and plumbers

That I can win the lottery without buying a lottery ticket
That a college education is the key to salvation

That my soul is in great shape
That I have suffered great trials, tribulations and crosses
That venial sins don’t matter
That Satan is a fiction
That spiritual combat was just for earlier centuries

That something on my iPhone is worth missing a moment of prayer

That air conditioning is a per se, unqualified good
That technological progress is salvific
(actually, I never believe that)

That all religions are equally true
That no religion is worth dying for
That there could possibly be something more interesting than what goes on at the altar at Mass

That God is always nice
That nice people must be good
That the saints were all nice

That more autonomy for a person is always good
That autonomy is real freedom
That advertisements might have something to say about freedom and happiness

That not getting my right of way in traffic is someone else’s sin
That not getting my way is someone else’s sin
That there are no other sins

That individual parts are always better than the whole
That the whole is always better than the parts
That God is more immanent than transcendent
That God is not immanent at all

That I can read my way to holiness
That I can worry my way to holiness

That the gates of hell might prevail

That winning the argument is the most important thing

That I know everything worth knowing, or can find it with Google
That my ways and thoughts are God’s ways and thoughts (especially if fact-checked by Google)

That the appearances of people are their full reality

That I’ve done great good in my life, on my own

That the wrong I’ve done is someone else’s fault

That my disappointments are not gifts
That the world did not exist before I did
That the world really needs to hear my opinions

That Christ didn’t really mean that the rich young man should sell everything

But on good days, which are more and more frequent as conversion proceeds and crowds out the bad days, I don’t believe any of those things. I begin to see how the Beatitudes shine through, as they did for all whom we celebrate today in the litany of saints and those unnamed who join them. And, if you haven’t seen it, the Sisters of Life have an excellent antidote to the litany of failure above.

Savages are given enormous platforms for their monstrous hate while voices of freedom are censored, suspended, deleted. Is it any wonder we are where we are?

Ahed Tamimi was featured in Vogue in 2018.

If she keeps talking like this, they’ll be calling her back for another feature soon.

‘Protests’ are the New Pogroms

By Jihad Watch

“We are here for the Jews, we came to kill them with knives and shoot at them.”

Pogroms are the new protests.

The AP which is pretty much 24/7 Hamas propaganda headlined its coverage of the Dagestan Muslim mob descending on an airport hunting for Jews to kill as a “protest”.

Crowd Storms Russian Airport to protest flight from Israel – AP

Here’s the AP propaganda.

Hundreds of people on Sunday stormed into the main airport in Russia’s Dagestan region and onto the landing field to protest the arrival of an airliner from Israel, Russian news agencies and social media reported.

Authorities closed the airport in Makhachkala, the capital of the predominantly Muslim region, and police converged on the facility. There were no immediate reports of injuries or arrests.

And here’s reality.

20 people were injured, 2 of them in critical condition, and the Muslim mob came to kill Jews.

Footage reportedly from the scene shared on local Telegram channels showed a hoard of people, Muslim pro-Palestinians, chanting “Allahu Akbar” and stopping cars to check the documents of passengers, ensuring they were not Israeli or Jewish, carrying Palestinian flags. In one of the videos that circulated social media, a rioter can be heard saying: “We are here for the Jews, we came to kill them with knives and shoot at them.”

Here’s videos of the “protesters”.

Berkeley Professor: Hamas and Hezbollah Are ‘Progressive’ and Part of ‘Global Left’

By Jihad Watch

The alliance between the international left and Islamic groups has been strong for years, only suffering some strains recently over the left’s insistence on pushing the trans madness and related insanities upon the rest of us. But leftists have generally tended to ally with victimhood propaganda organizations such as the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), not with out-and-out jihadis. However, as we see an ugly recrudescence of antisemitism around the world in the wake of the Hamas jihad massacres of Oct. 7, one far-left American professor has crossed the line and unhesitatingly named Hamas and Hizballah as allies of the left.

On the face of it, what Berkeley professor Judith Butler says in a video [below] that began making the rounds on Sunday but dates from before the present war began is howlingly absurd.

This video of influential gender theorist Judith Butler went viral when I posted it a little while back.

She expresses support for Hamas. This is not uncommon in academia. In fact, it is very common. https://t.co/AGXyK49Eb5 pic.twitter.com/Qg9tliwntY

— Jiminy Cricket (@jim1ny_cricket) October 29, 2023

Speaking haltingly, as if she has some residual hesitation about endorsing groups that are so open and even gleeful about their Jew-hatred and bloodlust, Butler said: “Um, uh, similarly, I think, uh, yes, uh, uh, understanding, uh, Hamas, Hezbollah as, uh, social movements that are progressive around, on the left, that are part of a global left, is extremely important.”

Butler went on to qualify her statement somewhat by adding: “That does not stop us from, uh, being critical of certain dimensions of, um, both movements. It doesn’t, um, it doesn’t stop those of us who are interested in nonviolent politics from raising the question of, um, uh, uh, of whether there are other options besides violence.” That’s swell, but are Hamas and Hizballah themselves interested in “nonviolent politics”? Obviously they aren’t, and Butler clearly doesn’t see that as a make-or-break issue for the left’s alliance with them.

Fittingly for someone who sees criminal gangs as “progressive” partners, a page on the Berkeley website that is devoted to touting Butler’s achievements is a veritable crime against language. It says of Butler: “They received their Ph.D. in Philosophy from Yale University in 1984. They are the author of several books…” The reader might justifiably wonder what group is being referred to, but all these plural pronouns are meant, of course, to refer to the singular yet “non-binary” Professor Butler, whose name is apparently Legion, for they are many.

Foremost on a list of her research interests are “critical theory, gender and sexuality studies.” If all the Professor Butlers went over to Lebanon and Gaza to visit with her friends and allies, how would they receive this ethnically Jewish lesbian from the Great Satan (that is, the U.S.) who insists on referring to herself in the plural? The answer to that question is as obvious as it is gruesome, and so another question inevitably arises: how can Judith Butler be so myopic as to think that such people are in any conceivable way her allies?

The answer to that question takes us right to the heart of the left’s habits of thinking. Butler is a leading gender studies theorist who complains that the “system” tries to impose upon us “constructions of binary asymmetric gender.” If she can ignore obvious reality and leap into fantasy to that extent, seeing Hamas and Hizballah as “progressive” forces is child’s play. But her affinity for these groups also reveals what the left is all about: it wants to see the destruction of what remains of Judeo-Christian civilization as much as Hamas and Hizballah do. The left shares the jihadis’ taste for authoritarianism and intolerance of dissent. Whenever the far-left has gained political power, it has never hesitated to use terror as a means to keep people in line.

And so it’s useful to remember, when leftists such as Judith Butler speak of themselves and their allies as “progressive,” exactly what they think that they are progressing toward. They want to establish a socialist state in which economic uniformity is enforced through state theft and terror. Terrorist groups might well come in handy to help usher in this workers’ paradise. The fact that those whom she favors might turn on her and her fellow non-binary fantasy-addicted academics never enters into her considerations, any more than the reality of sex and gender do. The left-fantasists among us, such as the eminent Professor Butler, would be comical, if they weren’t so very dangerous.

The Key to Peace In the Middle East Rests With The Iranian People thumbnail

The Key to Peace In the Middle East Rests With The Iranian People

By Amil Imani

A Reckoning with the Past and a Call for Action

As protests in Iran persist, demanding greater freedom and a transition to democracy, the United States needs to reflect on its past actions, particularly about Iran, and decide on a course of action. To clarify: The Iranian people have been yearning for change, and the United States must stand firmly with them.

So, let us evaluate the U.S.’s past and present policies toward Iran with some practical advice for the current administration. We will also try to critically examine former U.S. President Jimmy Carter’s role in the rise of Shiite Islam in Iran and praise President Trump’s withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal. Furthermore, let this serve as a warning against supporting groups like the Mujahidin Khalgh (MEK) while advocating for support for secular Iranians and condemning the Iran nuclear deal for its hidden perils.

The Iranian Uprising: A Cry for Freedom

Protests have been raging in Iran for over a year, ignited by the tragic death of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman, who was arrested for the perceived violation of Iran’s strict hijab laws. The following protests have become a massive movement, demanding greater freedoms and a complete change in the country’s leadership. Many protesters chanted, ‘Women, Life, Freedom’ —a famous rallying cry after nationwide protests erupted following Amini’s death last year. As the world watches these brave Iranians struggle for a better future, it becomes abundantly clear that they support their cause more actively. Doing so is not just a matter of principle; it’s a strategic imperative for regional peace and stability.

Encouraging International Support

The United States should lead the charge in rallying international support for the Iranian protesters. Diplomatic pressure, economic sanctions, and targeted measures against Iranian officials and entities involved in repression, censorship, and prison abuses should be employed. By taking the lead, the U.S. can encourage its European allies and other nations to join a unified front, sending a clear message to the Iranian regime.

A Democratic Movement in Iran

A popular democratic movement in Iran is desirable and necessary to bring about lasting change. The Islamic Republic’s oppressive regime is incompatible with the aspirations of the Iranian people. Our responsibility is to aid in the transition to a more democratic, representative government that respects the rule of law and individual rights.

Young Iranians, mainly the urban-educated Iranians, are among the most ardent believers in democracy worldwide. Many view America as the country with the best hope for spreading and protecting the high ideals of democracy. In a sense, many Iranians feel a closer affinity with a democratic Israel than all the neighboring Arab Muslim dictatorships. Although Islam was imposed on Iran some 1400 years ago, Iranians deeply value their ancient non-Arab identity and have never fully surrendered to the Arab culture. During the bloodletting war initiated by the late Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein against Iran, all Arab states sided with the Butcher of Baghdad against Iran. Yet, Israel was the only Middle Eastern country that remained neutral and helped Iran in the struggle. We Iranians don’t forget our friends, and we also remember our enemies.

Economic Measures

The United States should reconsider sanctions regulations that impede Iran’s interaction with international financial institutions, as such restictions may inadvertently harm the Iranian people. Instead, the U.S. should establish a fund dedicated to supporting the Iranian protest movement and promoting economic stability in the country during this period of upheaval. It is good that the US has imposed sanctions on Iranian officials and entities connected to the repression of protests, censorship, and prison abuses.

Amplifying Support through Media

  • The US should utilize traditional and social media to amplify and sustain support for the Iranian people.
  • By publicly championing their cause, we ensure their struggle does not fade into obscurity.
  • Publicizing their plight keeps the international community engaged and aware of the ongoing protests, which in turn exerts more pressure on the Iranian government to address the demands of its people.
  • President Joe Biden and other high-ranking officials should vigorously embrace traditional and social media to amplify and sustain their support for the Iranian people and remind demonstrators that the administration stands with them.

Facilitating Internet Access

Protesters in Iran rely heavily on the internet for communication and organization. The U.S. should take measures to facilitate greater access to the Internet for the Iranian people. This empowers them to organize more effectively and allows them to communicate with the outside world, shedding light on the situation inside Iran and garnering international support.

The Obama Fiasco

When Obama went on his apology world tour, bad-mouthing the United States and singing the praises of Islam and internationalism, he showed vacillation and weakness at every turn. For one, he did not even find it in himself to voice his support for the brave Iranians against the rule of fascist mullahs in the 2009 Green Revolution.

The results: Thousands of democracy’s best children of Iran were slaughtered, maimed, or imprisoned, and the Iranian mullahs are encouraged and have tripled their speed in the quest for their ultimate weapon, knowing full well that you neither can nor will do anything to stop them.

He failed to voice his support for the people. It implied that what was happening in Iran was a kind of family dispute best left to be settled by the Iranians themselves. A family feud indeed. One side of the “family” with legions of savages armed to the teeth, the Revolutionary Guard  (IRGC) and their hired thugs, and the other side of the “family” defenseless civilians using their voices to plead their case. The Islamic rulers spared no heinous means in mercilessly silencing the people’s representatives.

Today, the IRGC possesses an enormous power structure with influence over almost every aspect of Iranian life. Unlike the regular armed forces responsible for defending Iran’s territory, the IRGC was explicitly designed to protect the Islamic revolution itself and eavesdrop on the regular military. Khomeini never trusted the regular army.

No nation provided even moral support for the Iranian people, while the savage mullahs and their thugs consolidated their rule of terror with impunity. The same scenario is recurring, and the world’s silence is deafening while we are engaged in the Ukraine war.

Carter’s Legacy and the Rise of the Islamic Terrorism

It is impossible to discuss Iran’s tumultuous history without evaluating the role of former U.S. President Jimmy Carter. His tenure oversaw a turbulent period in Iran’s history, ultimately leading to the rise of Shiite Islam and the establishment of the Islamic Republic. Carter’s actions, or lack thereof, are attributable to the birth of a regime that has caused immeasurable death, suffering, and turmoil, particularly during the Iran-Iraq war. The heavy toll of hundreds of thousands of Iranian lives lost in that conflict is a painful reminder of the consequences of policies that failed to support the Iranian people.

As President Carter dithered, Khomeini’s influence grew, and his message of Islamic revolution resonated with the Muslim population seeking an alternative to the Shah’s regime. The Carter administration’s failure to understand the dynamics of the Iranian opposition and its inability to support pro-democracy forces ultimately contributed to the rise of the Islamic Republic.

The upheavals of 1979 shattered the existing order, and a turbaned charlatan that Jimmy Carter called a saint, Ayatollah Khomeini, skillfully steered the forces of change to promote his brand of totalitarian rule—a rule aimed at taking Iran backward to a primitive, violent, and misogynistic society.

Carter made a bone-headed decision some forty-five years ago. Both Iranians and Americans paid dearly and continue to pay.

The Trump Administration’s Bold Move: Withdrawal from the Iran Nuclear Deal

In stark contrast to Carter’s legacy, the Trump administration made a crucial decision in May 2018, withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal and reinstating sanctions. This move was not merely an act of political bravado; it was a statement that the Iranian regime, with its history of deception, violence, and religious fanaticism, could not be trusted. It marked a turning point in U.S. policy toward Iran, reflecting an understanding of the true nature of the Islamic Republic.

The Iran Nuclear Deal: A Flawed Bargain

The Iran nuclear deal, formally known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), was touted as a diplomatic achievement that would prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. However, it had significant flaws. Under the JCPOA, Iran was allowed to continue its nuclear program, albeit with certain limitations. While proponents argued that these restrictions would prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, critics rightly pointed out that it allowed Iran to maintain its nuclear infrastructure, setting the stage for a potential breakout once the restrictions expired.

Moreover, the deal did little to address Iran’s destabilizing activities in the region. Iran supported proxy groups, such as Hezbollah, and incited violence in neighboring countries. The influx of funds resulting from sanctions relief further emboldened Iran’s aggressive regional behavior.

The Trump administration’s decision to withdraw from the deal recognized these shortcomings and stated that the United States would not disregard Iran’s destabilizing actions.

Beware of Cultish Groups: Rejecting the MEK

While we acknowledge the need to support the Iranian people, we must heed the warnings of history and avoid supporting groups like the Mujahidin Khalgh (MEK). We must discern our choices and not inadvertently back an organization that could harm the people it claims to represent.

The MEK, considered a terrorist organization, has a dark militant history and a controversial reputation. While it claims to advocate for democracy and freedom in Iran, it has been criticized for its cult-like practices and authoritarian leadership. Supporting such a group could have unintended consequences, potentially undermining the democratic aspirations of the Iranian people.

As we acknowledge the need to support the Iranian people, it is vital to heed the warnings of history and avoid supporting groups like the Mujahidin Khalgh (MEK). “The MEK is not a valid player on the Iranian political scene. They have no credibility in Iran,” warns Ryan Crocker, former US Ambassador to Iraq.

I must strongly warn my fellow Americans not to repeat President Jimmy Carter’s monumental folly that brought the infamous Ayatollah Khomeini to power and birthed Islamist jihadism by standing behind Maryam Rajavi, the leader of the notorious Mujahidin-e Khalq or (MEK), the most dangerous terrorist group that even abused and murdered their members for trying to defect or escape from Camp Ashraf in Iraq. It would be equivalent to betraying the ideals of America—the flag holder of freedom in the world.

Secular Iranians are our True Allies

The path forward lies in championing the cause of secular Iranians, the United States’ best friends in the Islamic world. Their vision for a democratic Iran, where individual rights and freedoms are respected, aligns with our values and interests. We must throw our full support behind them in their quest for a brighter future.

The protests in Iran have revealed the Iranian people’s unwavering determination for a better future in which they enjoy the same rights and freedoms that citizens of free nations often take for granted. It is our responsibility as the United States, a beacon of democracy and liberty, to support their aspirations.

While history contains valuable lessons, the present moment calls for a bold, resolute stance. We must rally behind the Iranian people, drawing from our past experiences to navigate the complex landscape of Iranian politics. By standing with the Iranian people in their pursuit of democracy and freedom, we can help pave the way for a more peaceful Middle East.

The time for action is now, and the United States must seize the opportunity to be a force for good in Iran and beyond. In doing so, we can ensure that the tragic mistakes of the past are not repeated and that the Iranian people can finally achieve the freedoms they so desperately desire.

Final note

Once the Islamic regime is defeated, it would be the greatest thing since the fall of Soviet communism. It would subvert virulent Islamic ideology by creating a truly democratic, secular, strong nation in tandem with Israeli democracy in the heart of the Islamic Ummah. It would be an answered prayer just as much for the world as for Iranians.

The Al-Aqsa Flood is just the first time, and there will be a second, a third, a fourth, because we have the determination, the resolve, and the capabilities to fight. Will we have to pay a price? Yes, and we are ready to pay it. We are called a nation of martyrs, and we are proud to sacrifice martyrs.

“The existence of Israel is illogical. The existence of Israel is what causes all that pain, blood, and tears. It is Israel, not us. We are the victims of the occupation. Period. Therefore, nobody should blame us for the things we do. On October 7, October 10, October 1,000,000 – everything we do is justified.”
