As of June 2023, some immigration experts estimated that roughly 17 million illegal immigrants resided in the U.S., with at least 16% of the population arriving under the Biden administration. While migrants from all over the world cite many reasons for coming, one of the biggest is that illegal immigrants are getting several benefits when they arrive. Many have argued that the well-being of those who are here illegally seems to be prioritized over those who are here legally.
Several sanctuary cities offer migrants free housing, food, schooling, and medical care. States such as California have gone as far as to provide free gender transition procedures for illegal immigrants. Other states that are running out of space have asked residents to open up their own homes to undocumented individuals and families. Several airports, schools, and hotels that American citizens use as part of their daily lives have even been transformed into shelters.
Some have argued it’s hard to ignore the rise in crimes such as robbery, murder, and threats of terrorism that the wide open border welcomes. Among Christians, this crisis has sparked a conversation as to how to go about this chaos in a loving manner. But while all of these concerns are worth addressing, there is another group facing the consequences of Biden’s lack of border control ?” namely, U.S. taxpayers.
Ira Mehlman, media director at the Federation for American Immigration Reform, shared on “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins” on Tuesday that there’s an estimated $150.7 billion burden on taxpayers, which is directly tied to the illegal immigration. As a result of Democratic policies, Mehlman said the illegals showing up in the sanctuary cities are “entitled” to the services, which “costs a lot of money.” He added that the money needed to take care of the migrants is “money that the [states don’t] have to begin with.”
Mehlman highlighted that cities like New York chose to cut down on education and police budgets in order to spend money on the migrants. NYC budgeted $12 billion “between now and the end of 2025,” he explained. “New York is now spending more on care of the migrants than they are spending on police, fire, and sanitation combined.”
Additionally, Mehlman noted that one of the ways taxpayers are getting the short end of the stick is through the health care system. “Under the Affordable Care Act, illegal aliens were not eligible for taxpayer-subsidized health insurance programs. And that was deliberate,” he said. “Now, you have states like California … deciding that they are going to use state taxpayer money in order to subsidize health care for illegal aliens.”
Mehlman described a lot of what’s happening as “self-induced crises.” But the states facing the consequences of their own policies then “turn around and ask everybody else to bail them out.” And the issue with that, he said, is that “whether the money is coming out of state … local coffers, or … from the federal government, it’s still the people’s money. It’s our hard earned dollars.”
Ultimately, taxes are “supposed to be providing services for us,” he urged. “Instead, they’re taking this money and creating new magnets for people to come here and abuse the system.”
Tony Perkins, president of Family Research Council, pointed out that amid this financial fiasco, the Biden administration still wants to send “$60 billion over to Ukraine.” He concluded, “Let’s shut off the border [and] we might have a little extra money to work with.”

The Biden administration has once again confirmed that it has the authority to transfer $4.2 billion of military aid for Ukraine, but is not delivering this vital aid to Ukraine.
Despite this admission, the administration has accelerated its months-long attacks on House Republicans, who have nothing to do with the fate of the $4.2 billion, for not passing supplemental security bill.
On February 20, three high-level administration’s officials almost simultaneously sent around seemingly logical but essentially fundamentally flawed message. Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh, National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby and President’s National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan have mounted their attack on the Congress consisting of two key elements.
First, they not only admitted, but purposefully underscored recent Ukraine’s heavy losses on the battlefield, especially the painful retreat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from the fortified city Avdiivka, due to lack of military supplies.
MS. SINGH: Well, Avdiivka unfortunately — it was a strategic withdrawal that Ukraine made in order to conserve their own artillery and ammunition.
MR. KIRBY: Ukrainian troops were forced to withdraw from the city of Avdiivka in the eastern part of Ukraine — and that happened on Saturday; I think you all know that — because they practically ran out of supplies, including artillery ammunition.
MR. SULLIVAN: Over the weekend, as you all have seen, Ukrainian troops were forced to withdraw from Avdiivka, a town in eastern Ukraine where they’d been battling Russia for many months, handing Putin his first notable battlefield victory in a year. This happened in large part because Ukraine is running out of weapons due to congressional inaction. And Ukrainian troops didn’t have the supplies and ammunition they needed to stop the Russian advance.
Second, they blame the House for holding up support for Ukraine.
MS. SINGH: So, we are going to continue to urge Congress to pass this urgent supplemental request so that we can deliver Ukraine the air defenses, artillery and ammunition they need to defend themselves. And as the vice president said in Munich last weekend, the failure to not pass a supplemental would be a gift to Vladimir Putin… we need the House to urgently pass and act — and work to pass this bipartisan supplemental agreement that passed last week in the Senate.
MR. KIRBY: Let’s be clear about this: Ukraine’s decision to withdraw from Avdiivka wasn’t because … we can’t get the supplemental funding and get the kinds of arms and ammunition into the hands of Ukrainian soldiers as soon as possible…
MR. SULLIVAN: …I think that individual House members have a responsibility to speak out and call for a vote, call for their Speaker, their elected leader, to put this bill on the floor for an up or down vote. Because if it gets an up or down vote, it will pass overwhelmingly, on a bipartisan basis.
But resources for this purpose are available to the Biden administration not tomorrow, but today and even yesterday. Since December 27, 2023, the funds at the White House’ disposal has remained $4.2 billion. High-level officials confirmed that the administration has this legal authority given to the administration by Congress.
Q: The Pentagon, I think still has $4 billion of authority…
MS. SINGH: That’s right.
Officials insist that Congress must replenish stocks before they can provide military assistance to Ukraine, because otherwise the administration does not feel “comfortable”.
MR. KIRBY: The replenishment authority is important. Because we have provided so much, we’ve got to be mindful of our own stocks for our own national security purposes… …to your other question about the existing PDA and the importance of it — yes, there’s existing authority left, but without the replenishment authority, as I said, it’s not cost-free in terms of our own national security needs.
Q: … to draw down but you don’t have any replacement money. So why can’t an $800 billion institution just risk drawing down $4 billion of inventory on the assumption at some point you’re going to get it from Congress? Is that being discussed at all in the building?
MS. SINGH: …It’s an absolute risk for us to incur. We don’t have the replenishment funds needed to resupply our own stocks. So if we can’t do that, then we’re not able or we don’t feel comfortable enough to draw down or to give another PDA until we have those replenishment funds.
This explanation is problematic. Congress set a ceiling for military aid to Ukraine via the PDA channel at $25.5 billion, while also appropriating $25.9 billion for replenishment of those stocks. As of today, the Pentagon used all $25.9 billion for replenishment of stocks, but delivered only $19.7 billion to Ukraine via PDA. Therefore, military aid has been underused by $6.2 billion.
Additionally, the administration admits that they will get replenishment funding eventually, but it still does not change the administration’s attitude towards comfort.
Q: You manage risk here, but we’re talking like one-five-five shells, and a lot of weapons that wouldn’t be used in a fight against China. Has there been discussion that why don’t we just put out $4 billion of PDAs on the assumption we’re — we’re going to get funding eventually if not soon?
MS. SINGH: Well again, we can say that we’re going to get funding eventually, but we’ve been ringing the alarm bell since October. And so we’re already into February, the two-year anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is coming up at the end of the week. We don’t know when we’re going to get the funding.
It appears the only real reason the administration refuses to provide the available military aid to Ukraine is that they want supplemental bill to be passed by the House.
MS. SINGH: And we’re going to continue — the discussions that we are having right now at the Secretary’s level, across the interagency, as we need Congress to give us a supplemental.
MR. KIRBY: …We need the supplemental funding. We absolutely have to have the supplemental funding to be able to continue to support Ukraine.
MR. SULLIVAN: …we need Congress to… take urgent action on this National Security Supplemental bill…
The White House’s determination to get the supplemental bill passed is apparent in the exchange between a journalist and Jake Sullivan.
Q: …could you also address consideration for a loan to Ukraine absent congressional action? Is that something that the White House is talking about?
MR. SULLIVAN: With respect to a loan to Ukraine, as I’ve said before, what we have requested and what the Senate passed on an overwhelmingly bipartisan basis last week is both military assistance and economic assistance. That economic assistance is in the form of grants, because asking Ukraine to take on and shoulder a substantial amount of debt right now, as it’s fighting for its life, we don’t regard that as the best way forward. We think that the package we put together and that Democratic and Republican senators voted for last week is the right package. So, as far as I’m concerned, what we need to see from the House is that they move forward and pass this legislation, rather than have the United States negotiate against itself.
Finally, despite Ukraine’s heavy losses on the battlefield, the Biden administration is ready to continue to blackmail against both Ukraine and House.
Q: … Can you tell us what other cities may be at risk of falling in Ukraine after Avdiivka? Cause last week, the Pentagon was saying that the situation remains critical across (inaudible).
MS. SINGH: …Look, if we don’t get more — if we don’t get the supplemental — I outlined that at the very top — but if we don’t get the funding needed from the Senate — or sorry, from the House to pass the Senate supplemental, we will not be able to provide these critical PDA packages and Ukraine will have to make choices and decisions on what cities, what towns they can hold with what they have and what partners can — can continue to supply them.
Thus, Biden administration high level officials confirmed:
The Biden administration stopped delivery of military aid to Ukraine after December 27, 2023. As of now, it has not transferred it to Ukraine for two months.
The aid deliveries stopped despite the fact that the White House has the authority to transfer military aid to Ukraine through the PDA channel in the amount of $4.2 billion.
The Biden administration had underused, not overused, military aid to Ukraine via PDA. It spent $25.9 billion for replenishment of stocks, or $6.2 billion more than it sent military aid to Ukraine ($19.7 billion).
The Biden administration also has funds at its disposal in the amount of $7.9 billion via the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) channel, which are intended to be placed as orders for the production of military items for Ukraine, but for the last year and half have not been placed yet.
Therefore, over two years of war, the White House has not used at least $12.1 billion in military aid to Ukraine, which is a quarter of the $47.8 billion appropriated by Congress for these purposes.
Biden administration refused to use a loan mechanism and did not initiate Ukraine Democracy Lend-Lease Act overwhelmingly supported by Congress to send supplies to munitions-hungry Ukraine fighting for its survival.
The Biden administration cites “not feeling comfortable enough” as the reason for blocking the transfer of military assistance to Ukraine. This term is absent in U.S. legislation, and such justification for non-compliance with U.S. laws by the executive branch is, to put it mildly, an innovation.
The White House agrees that the supplemental bill passed by the Senate will ultimately be passed by the House, allowing funds to replenish military supplies. Despite this, the administration’s is still blocking military aid to Ukraine.
The Biden administration admitted that the price of blocking military assistance to Ukraine was Avdiivka, a strategic fortified position for Ukrainian armed forces, falling to Russian forces, accompanied by significant losses of Ukrainian troops.
The Biden administration predicts that its continued lack of military assistance to Ukraine might force Ukrainian forces to abandon other Ukrainian cities and towns.
As it is known, the supplemental funding bill approved in the Senate and currently sent to the House, does not contain measures to stop millions of illegal immigrants at the southern border, but does contain multi-billion dollars funding for the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian Authority in dire violation of the Taylor Force Act.
In addition, this bill does not specify the exact amounts of U.S. military assistance to Ukraine must be delivered to the victim of the Russian aggression in either fiscal year 2024 or 2025.
Even if the House passes this bill, the Biden administration may take exactly the same position it takes now regarding the existing unused funds. In other words, the delivery of military assistance to Ukraine through the PDA channel may be stopped by the administration at any time because it might “not feel comfortable enough,” while funds to order weapons and military equipment through the USAI channel may not be placed among manufacturers without any justification. Then the administration would again try to blame its own failure on its political opponents, using it as a way to support some other items in its political agenda.
The Biden administration’s treatment of Congress and Ukraine, which is fighting for its very survival, cannot be called anything other than cynical bloody blackmail. The price is the lives of tens and hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians today and the destruction of the United States tomorrow.

While most mainstream media coverage flagrantly omits that the man charged in the murder of a Georgia nursing student is an illegal immigrant who entered the United States through the famously porous southern border, other important nuggets are also being left out of most reports. The 26-year-old suspect, Jose Antonio Ibarra, comes from a country—Venezuela—run by a dictator with close ties to terrorists who refuses to accept deportees. This is especially disturbing because the U.S. has seen a shocking 7,300% spike in migrants from Venezuela under the Biden administration’s disastrous open border policies and now we are stuck with all of them. There is no telling how many other violent criminals or terrorists are among the hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans who have been released inside the country by our government in the last few years.
Ibarra and his brother, another delinquent recently charged with possessing a fake green card, crossed into El Paso, Texas in September 2022 and was released in the country like millions of other migrants under the Biden administration’s policies. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed in an Atlanta news report that Ibarra “was paroled and released for further processing.” Federal authorities say the brother, 29-year-old Diego Ibarra “claimed a credible fear” of being returned to his native Venezuela when he got arrested, which is a scandal-plagued tactic used by millions of illegal immigrants to avoid getting deported. Before the most recent arrest for murder the younger Ibarra had been arrested several times, for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a license, shoplifting and failure to appear for an offense. One of the arrests occurred in New York City, which offers illegal immigrants sanctuary and does not report criminals to the feds for removal.
A few days ago, Ibarra got charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, kidnapping, hindering a 911 call, and concealing the death of another. Police say he killed 22-year-old nursing student Laken Hope Riley, whose body was found in the woods behind a lake on the University of Georgia campus. “On February 22, 2024 at approximately 12:07 p.m., the UGA Police Department received a call from a friend of Laken’s who was concerned that she had gone to run at the Intramural Fields earlier in the morning and had not returned as expected,” according to a statement issued by the University of Georgia Police. “Officers responded to the area and immediately began a search at approximately 12:20 p.m. and located her shortly afterward. She was unconscious and not breathing, and had received visible injuries. Officers immediately began rendering medical aid. Emergency medical responders determined that she was deceased upon their arrival.”
Evidence shows that Ibarra acted alone. Only conservative media has bothered to report the highly relevant details surrounding the Venezuelan’s immigration status and that he moved to Athens, Georgia because it offers illegal aliens sanctuary. The mainstream media mostly sugarcoated or avoided the subject altogether. One national news outlet shamefully wrote that Riley’s violent murder has once again put the spotlight on the dangers female runners face. While failing completely to mention pertinent information about the illegal immigrant suspect, the article delves into a survey by athletic wear company Adidas that reveals 92% of women reported feeling concerned for their safety while running with half afraid of being physically attacked. More than a third of women experienced physical or verbal harassment, including sexist comments, and being followed, according to the athletic wear survey.
It is distressing enough that a young woman lost her life to a suspect who should not have been in the country and could have been deported after previous arrests. We must also grapple with the fact that there has been an inconceivable surge in illegal immigrants from Venezuela since Biden became president. This is especially alarming because the South American nation operates under a Marxist regime that encourages international terrorist groups to run free. Venezuela’s government issues travel documents to individuals linked to terrorism and allows terrorists to operate with relative impunity. The country also has close ties with Iran and other notorious state sponsors of terrorism. A State Department report reveals that Venezuelan Dictator Nicolas Maduro and his associates “use criminal activities to help maintain their illegitimate hold on power, fostering a permissive environment for known terrorist groups.” That includes the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC-D), the Colombian-origin National Liberation Army (ELN), and Hizballah sympathizers. In a separate assessment the State Department writes that Maduro has defined himself through his opposition to the United States, regularly criticizing the U.S. government, its policies, and its relations with Latin America.

How Within Our Lifetime Partnered With Decolonize This Place, An Anarchist Organization, to Disrupt NYC
The violent and disruptive protests in support of Hamas in New York City are not spontaneous outbursts of anti-Israel activists reacting to the war in Gaza.
Suspended antisemitic NYU Professor Amin Husain is a longtime collaborator with Nerdeen Kiswani and her violent pro-terror activist group, Within Our Lifetime.
Within Our Lifetime and Decolonize This Place have enacted a strategy of mobilizing their intersectional allies against ‘Zionists’ and New York authorities to paralyze the city.
Husain and Kiswani have positioned the Palestinian cause as the key to the liberation of other indigenous and intersectional “struggles.”
Violence and opposition to authority are essential parts of their strategy. They seek out and encourage it.
Together with Kiswani, Husain has built a violent and disruptive strategy designed to make the city “ungovernable.”
As events began to unfold on October 7, Kiswani made a strategic calculation that, despite the horrific atrocities coming to light, she would be able to convince her activists and allies to continue to support Palestinian resistance.
To the astonishment of Jews, liberals and others concerned with basic human rights, Kiswani’s assessment proved correct.
As the world reeled in horror from the ever-increasing revelations of Hamas’ massacre of Israeli men, women and children, Kiswani was constructing a narrative that painted Hamas (and by extension, all Palestinians) as the victims and the Jews – those both dead and alive – as the oppressors.
One might consider it risky to assume that people would embrace this narrative, but it evidently succeeded. A significant reason is that Kiswani and Husain have dedicated at least a decade to priming their supporters for this pivotal moment in history.
Within Our Lifetime and Decolonize This Place have devised and executed a two-pronged plan:
To strategically frame the Palestinian conflict as a centerpiece of intersectional politics.
To implement tactics to disrupt New York City.
Amin Husain, a professor who was recently suspended from New York University and a founder of the anarchist group Decolonize This Place (DTP), has been at the forefront of organizing activities that aim to dismantle systems of authority, advocating for the abolition of prisons, police and other established structures.
He is known for his strong anti-American and anti-Israel sentiments and has played a pivotal role in numerous violent disruptions throughout New York City. One DTP rampage through the NYC subway system in January 2020 organized by Husain cost taxpayers $100,000 in damages.
Together with Kiswani, Husain has built a violent and disruptive strategy designed to make the city “ungovernable.”
Husain’s association with WOL dates back to at least 2016 when WOL was still operating as NYC Students for Justice in Palestine. (In 2018, Kiswani, the head of NYC SJP at the time, rebranded the group as WOL.)
But since October 7 and the swell of WOL’s intersectional allies, the group has also incorporated disruptions and shutdowns as two of their prime tactics.
One reason is that WOL no longer needs to work on creating allies. The group now has enough to make life in the city miserable – and that’s their plan.

Kiswani and Husain realized many years ago that their movement would need allies to succeed. One simple reason was that the anti-Israel crowd in New York (and beyond) would never be big enough to effect any change.
It was easy for Kiswani and Husain to find those allies, as a “pre-made” group already existed.
The “coalition of the oppressed,” which coalesced in America in 2016, consisted of minorities, indigenous peoples, feminists, queers and other groups that the Far Left deemed “victims” in America – whether due to colonialism, the “patriarchy,” gender bias, white supremacy or the catch-all culprit – capitalism.
Post September 11, Muslim Brotherhood front groups, like CAIR, worked hard to include Muslims in this coalition and they succeeded.
The only task left for Kiswani and Husain was convincing this group that “Palestine” topped all other causes and was key to “liberation” for each group.
In the wake of the widespread social unrest following George Floyd’s death, the epithet that garnered the most sting in America was “racism.” Conveniently for Kiswani and Husain, the Soviets had already successfully branded Zionism as racism.
The pair worked hard to capitalize on the Black Lives Matter movement to further their fight against Israel.
“Triangulation of indigenous struggle, black liberation, and a free Palestine produce a rearrangement of relationships that make empire look [upside down].
The anti-Israel cause also dovetailed with the popular Critical Race Theory, a neo-Marxist academic movement that took over mainstream American culture in the last decade. Critical Race Theory posits that racism is the fundamental organizing principle of American society.
Institutions from schools to corporations, government agencies and the media bought into the theory and made radical changes in their operations accordingly. This included their attitude toward Israel, which, due to the slur of racism, now became a force in the Far Left world that needed to be opposed.
Racism was deemed a function of the “Patriarchal White Supremacist Nation-State,” which they defined for political purposes in the broadest terms as “settler-colonialism.”
The label “settler-colonialism” turned out to be a perfect way to delegitimize Israel, especially effective with a movement that eschewed historical facts.
While the rest of the intersectional crowd was stuck in academia explaining their grievances, Kiswani and Husain took the fight to the next level. The launch of the “Globalize the Intifada” movement offered the method of the Palestinians – “intifada,” or violent uprising – as a solution based on action.
They were thus able to brand the Palestinians as both heroes and models.
Slogans such as “Resistance by any means necessary” and “Resistance is Justified When People are Occupied” resonated with their intersectional allies and gained popularity.
These phrases effectively destigmatized and romanticized the brutal reality of the terrorism they allude to.

In 2020, Amin Husain formulated a strategy titled:
“Becoming Ungovernable.”
It was aimed at instigating significant disruptions in New York City and uniting a diverse spectrum of movements under the banner: “OUR UPRISINGS ARE QUEER, TRANS, BLACK, BROWN, PALESTINIAN, IMMIGRANT, INDIGENOUS AND GLOBAL.”
Despite this wide range of causes, the materials disseminated by Husain predominantly focused on anti-Israel protests.
One poster stated, “First they came for the Muslims, and we said ‘Not this time, motherf**ker”,” paired with imagery of a man in a keffiyeh, fist raised, symbolizing violent resistance.
Decolonize This Place detailed tactics for citywide disruption, listing items such as fire, bolt cutters, masks, glass bottles, nails, and emphasized the need for “warriors,” reflecting a militant approach to their activism.

Conclusion
It is no surprise that the “theoretical” ideas of Husain and Kiswani quickly morphed into reality for New Yorkers in general and Jews in particular. Disruptions in the city began in earnest during the weeks of the 2021 “Strike MoMA” demonstration, which targeted NYC’s iconic Museum of Modern Art during Israel’s “Operation Guardian of the Walls.”
It was at that time that Husain began his first “Mapping Project,” putting a bullseye on Jewish & pro-Israel charities, individuals and corporations, an initiative that Kiswani has both embraced and intensified significantly.
At the same time, it was unsurprising that there was an enormous uptick in antisemitic attacks on Jews in all boroughs of the city in 2021. A number of these assaults stand out, such as the brutal beat-down of Joseph Borgen (for the “crime” of wearing a yamulka) by a group of WOL activists and a similar attack on Matthew Greenman, an Israel supporter on crutches, by another WOL activist.
In hindsight, these incidents look like a dress rehearsal for what is happening today. What is clear is that Husain’s and Kiswani’s allies and activists were primed and ready to go on October 7 with a well-planned strategy to support the terror group they idolize, Hamas.

pressure from the United Nations for a ceasefire, which would enable Hamas to survive and regroup;
the unity of the ummah globally in standing for Hamas.
Ramadan is certainly a period that Iran, Hamas and Hizballah will take advantage of one way or another. Some may regard Gallant’s warning as an exaggeration, but it is a better to be prepared. Preparedness, however, isn’t always straightforward. Gallant is “strongly against National Security Minister Itamar Ben- Gvir’s push to reduce access to the Temple Mount for certain Israeli-Arabs or Palestinians during Ramadan.” Palestinians call it the Al-Aqsa compound. One can only imagine the reaction to such an order as Palestinians ready themselves for “martyrdom” in an explosive atmosphere.
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Tuesday warned that Iran, Hezbollah, and Hamas are trying to use Ramadan to inflame the region so as to achieve another October 7 disaster against Israel.
According to Gallant, their hope is to provoke Palestinians in the West Bank, Hezbollah, and Arabs and Muslims across the region to attack and turn their rage on Israel, using the Temple Mount and tensions in the West Bank as an excuse.
The defense minister has been a leading voice for smashing Hamas and earlier in the war, tried to persuade the war cabinet to launch a preemptive strike on Hezbollah.
Gallant calls for reducing tensions
However, at this point, he believes that fighting the war without hesitation must go hand in hand with reducing tensions in areas where there is no reason for there to be tensions.

Two fallen Navy SEALS and only 32 dead terrorists after two months of fighting.
After Biden came home from his Caribbean vacation, the Deputy Defense Secretary came back from hers and the Secretary of Defense was on the verge of being released from the hospital, airstrikes were finally authorized against the Houthi Jihadis attacking ships in the Red Sea.
Biden said that the air strikes sent “a clear message that the United States and our partners will not tolerate attacks on our personnel or allow hostile actors to imperil freedom of navigation in one of the world’s most critical commercial routes.”
The message was not very clear since the Houthis then struck a bulk carrier owned by an American company and spent the next two months terrorizing the Red Sea. The Iranian-backed terror group which seized control of much of Yemen due to Obama’s Arab Spring has launched even more devastating attacks on ships and has now reportedly attacked an undersea cable, after previously deploying an undersea drone and warning of further “submarine” attacks..
The Red Sea siege has affected shipping and commodities prices all over the world. The U.S. Navy ended a lot of its cargo runs in the Red Sea and so have a lot of civilian shipping firms.
Why have the Houthis been able to not only survive, but to escalate their attacks? Because the Biden administration was never serious about taking them out. The original attacks targeted less than 30 sites from a terror group that had shot off over 1,000 rockets and missiles in the previous 7 years and was clearly prepared for an extended campaign of rocket attacks.
Israel had reportedly dropped over 1,000 bombs a day in the first week of the Oct 7 war. While numbers like these were widely criticized as overkill, they worked. There had been over 6,000 Hamas rocket alerts in the first two weeks of the war. Two weeks later, the number had dropped to over 1,000 and currently stands at less than 100. Israel’s massive assault had worked.
Biden’s occasional pinprick attacks barely even slowed down the Houthi attacks.
After the first round of U.S. strikes, right before Biden flew off to Raleigh, North Carolina to promote his plan for subsidized internet, there was a remarkable exchange with a reporter.
“Are the airstrikes in Yemen working?” he was asked.
“Well, when you say ‘working,’ are they stopping the Houthis? No. Are they going to continue? Yes,” Biden replied.
No one in the press seemed interested in following up the very strange statement. If the airstrikes aren’t working, why carry them out? Was there a plan to step up the strikes? No.
After the initial wave of attacks, the US Navy shifted over to what it euphemistically called “defensive air strikes” against Houthi missiles or rockets that had already been launched or were being prepped for launch. The constant reports about “defensive air strikes” made it sound as if the United States were constantly bombing Yemen, when the US Navy had been allowed to do the bare minimum to prevent and survive more incoming attacks. It wasn’t enough.
Two weeks after the original raids, as the Houthis continued their attacks, Biden authorized follow-up air strikes on a mere 8 locations. A week later, a tanker had been hit and was burning. In early February, Biden signed off on a third round of attacks hitting 36 targets across 13 locations. In the coming weeks, the Houthis shot down the second of two U.S. drones
After multiple Houthi attacks and damage to an underwater cable, Biden now signed off on a fourth round of attacks that hit 18 targets across 8 locations. Will these stop the Houthis?
As Biden already admitted after the first round of attacks, they won’t. But that’s not their purpose. The goal is to maintain some sort of balance of power against the Houthis. The Department of Defense regularly issues official warnings to the Houthis that there will be consequences. But the only consequences are the occasional light air strikes on old Yemeni air defense capabilities and rocket:, some of which date back to the days of the USSR.
So far two American Navy SEALS are dead and Iran has control of the world’s shipping.
And how many of the Houthi Jihadis have been killed? After an initial naval battle in which ten of the terrorists were killed, the Houthis claimed that only five of their men were killed in Biden’s first round of airstrikes. The funerals of another 17 were held after the third round of strikes.
That would make for a total of 32 dead terrorists after two months of fighting the United States.
Are the Houthis understating their casualties? Maybe. But a New York Times article on the Biden administration’s intentions stated that the strategy represents “the administration’s attempt to chip away at the Houthis’ ability to menace merchant ships and military vessels but not hit so hard as to kill large numbers of Houthi fighters and commanders, and potentially unleash even more mayhem into a region”. As if ceding the Red Sea hasn’t done that already.
Chipping away at their arsenals while trying to minimize Houthi deaths has failed miserably.
What is the Biden administration doing wrong? Apart from scale, it’s trying to target Houthi drones and missiles, and some air bases, preferably right before they’re about to be used. This is the same approach that failed in Iraq and it’s also the same approach Israel used to use against Hamas also in an effort to deter attacks, minimize casualties and avoid escalation.
And then Oct 7 happened. Since then, the Israeli military strategy has been to destroy Hamas forces as functioning units rather than target its rocket stockpiles. And it worked. Hamas, like the Houthis, had learned to fire off rockets or drones from disposable locations before running away. Even when rocket stockpiles are taken out, the terrorists can go ahead and build more.
Rockets can be replaced, but organized forces that have trained together are harder to replace. That’s what Israel demonstrated. And it worked. Even though Israel didn’t specifically focus on taking out Hamas rockets, the rocket attacks dropped sharply because there’s no one to shoot them. When rockets are targeted, the terrorists run away and regroup, but when the terrorists are targeted, they have to keep running, so they don’t have the time and space to regroup.
(That is what the proposed hostage deal and the various calls for a ‘ceasefire’ are really about.)
Biden is unwilling to target the Houthis and so they keep attacking.
After two months and over four rounds of larger attacks, the Houthi command and control operations, and their forces, remain intact even if they lost some infrastructure along the way.
This might be excusable if, like Bush in Iraq, Biden really believed that what he was doing would work, but he admitted in a direct quote to the press that he knows what he’s doing won’t work.
Beyond the damage to shipping and the prestige of the United States, two Navy SEALS are dead because the commander-in-chief pursued a military strategy that he knew would fail.
Biden had two options in Yemen. He could either hit the Houthis hard or let them do what they wanted. Both were politically untenable. It would be too politically damaging to go into the primaries inflicting sizable casualties on an Arab Muslim terror group that his pro-terror supporters love and now chant at pro-Hamas ‘ceasefire’ rallies, “turn another ship around.”
But doing nothing while shipping slowed down and prices rose would also be damaging.
Given a choice between alienating the country and his party’s terror supporters, he chose a middle ground of ‘show’ strikes like the kind that Bill Clinton had deployed against Osama bin Laden that will avoid offending terror supporters but also will not end the Houthi attacks.
This strategy serves no one except Biden who has sacrificed the nation’s prestige, a major international waterway and the lives of two U.S. Navy SEALS to win an election.

While conceiving this column I came upon an observation about the difference between the Biden and Trump presidencies. Trump’s administration was chaos, but our lives were normal. Biden’s administration is normal, but everything else is in chaos.
When speaking about President Biden, former Defense Secretary Robert Gates stated, “I think he has been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.” That statement made in January 2014 was long before Biden ran as an experienced individual who then became President overseeing our country’s foreign policy. Matters have gotten even worse since he ascended to his current position.
There are many decisions Biden has made along with both his feeble Secretary of State and National Security Advisor. There are so many well-known decisions that have gone sideways and then there are others.
For example, there are the teams’ disastrous decisions regarding Brazil — the most significant country in South America. Biden did not like the positions of Jair Bolsonaro who was a staunch supporter of the United States and our allies. Because Bolsonaro was branded a “Trump-like individual,” Biden pushed the candidacy of Lula da Silva, a man convicted on corruption charges. Da Silva won by a smidgeon and has turned on the United States. He has cut a major deal with China to the detriment of the U.S. and has been undercutting our currency by arguing for others to stop using our currency as the international reserve currency. He has also come out against our ally Israel, accusing the country of genocide in Gaza and compared Israel’s actions to Hitler’s campaign to exterminate Jews. That was all in less than a year in office.
The Houthis are a special case. Trump put the group on the list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations and Specially Designated Global Terrorists. The Biden gang took them off the list saying they wanted to “negotiate” with the Houthis. We all know the real reason is Biden’s childish behavior saying anything Trump did was bad and must be reversed. We see the results of Biden’s negotiations with the Houthis ending at the virtual closing of the Red Sea transportation lanes to anyone except the Chinese and now the Russians.
At least Biden finally reversed his terrible decision and decided at some time to put the Houthis back on the lists after coming to the realization they are simply handmaidens of the real culprits, Iran. At the same time, they exempted the Houthis from sanctions for receiving revenue from the sale of Yemen’s oil. The Bidens can’t even get sanctions correct on a group like the Houthis.
Then there is his fascination with trying to make peace with Iran. Biden was part of the Obama team that shipped truckloads of money to Iran and had some fantasy the mullahs were going to normalize their operations. The mullahs spent the money to arm their many surrogates including those well-known ones: Hezbollah, Houthis, and Hamas. Research indicates apparently Iran did not fund Boko Harum due to religious differences. This list doesn’t include the groups in Iraq and elsewhere. Trump left Iran broke. What did Biden do? He entered fantasyland and gave them access to hundreds of billions of dollars so Iran can wreak havoc all over the world. A sterling example of a horrific foreign policy.
Here is another disaster Biden has not managed – South Africa. Though he and his team did not create this mess, they have done nothing to stop it. In 2024, we are obligated to provide $393 million to South Africa. What are they doing with our money? Making nice/nice with Hamas and Russia and charging our ally, Israel, with genocide for fighting back against Hamas. If Mr. Blinken made any effort to stop them from doing these things, I am not aware. Where are the threats to cut them off? Why do we keep funding countries who do things against our country’s interests?
Biden has negotiated a disastrous deal with the dictator of Venezuela. Biden was caught in a vice because of soaring gasoline prices after cutting off many avenues of American energy development to appease his Green Wing. He went hat in hand to Maduro and allowed him to sell us oil. In exchange, we agreed to take in what is estimated between 500,000 and 800,000 refugees (who knows, no one is counting) fleeing his country that he has destroyed. Now Maduro has reneged on his part of the deal to have open, free elections. What a lousy negotiator.
Then there is the special case of Afghanistan. No need for a major rehash here. Just a reminder that we had only 2,500 troops there as part of an allied force totaling 10,000. Biden did not notify our allies of his departure and mayhem ensued. We now have a country run by people living in the 12th century.
Not to mention the threats from Russia and China which have accelerated because of their geopolitical strategy.
Mr. Blinken is now trying to circumvent the Israelis and create a state for the Palestinians in Gaza without the Israelis having a say. He says they will have security assurances. As my friend Cliff May, founder of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, stated in a recent column, “Like the security assurances Israelis received from the U.N. Security Council after they withdrew from Lebanon? Like the security assurances Ukrainians received from the U.S. when they gave up their nuclear weapons? Like the security assurances Hong Kong received when the British turned the territory over the China’s Communists?”
You get the point. The leadership of this Administration has manufactured chaos all over the world. And these people want another four years.

Last week, an Israeli civilian was killed and several were left wounded after a Palestinian terrorist shot at cars around the Maale Adumim settlement. In response to the attack, Israel’s finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich, announced that over 3,000 housing units would be built in the West Bank, also known by their biblical names of Judea and Samaria. This decision, however, seems to have sparked further controversy.
As The Jerusalem Post reported, other than a short period of time during the Trump administration, “Israeli settlements in the West Bank have almost always been a thorn in the relations between Israel and the U.S.” Secretary of State Antony Blinken has already condemned the construction initiatives. He stated that he’s “disappointed” because “settlements are counter-productive to reaching an enduring peace” and “inconsistent with international law.” He added that the Biden “administration maintains a firm opposition to settlement expansion,” holding the belief that the settlements “only weakens … Israel’s security.”
Some have pointed out that Blinken’s comments, as well as Biden’s developing stance on the issue, are the opposite of “the Trump administration’s view in 2019, which did not consider Israeli settlements in the West Bank as inconsistent with international law.” But as Family Research Council President Tony Perkins pointed out on “Washington Watch” Monday, the Biden administration has only widened the “divide between the U.S. and our strategic ally Israel.”
In addition to that statement, former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman said that the claim Blinken made during Friday’s press conference, that Israel’s decision was inconsistent with international law, was simply “not true.” He stated that Blinken’s belief implies “the Jewish people have no right to live in their biblical homeland.” And ultimately, “It really is just a gut punch to those who take a theological view to biblical Israel.” And “people need to know,” Perkins added, “when you hear this term ‘West Bank,’ we’re talking about everything we read about in the Bible.”
But aside from the biblical significance, Friedman highlighted that “Biden’s been nothing but difficult on some of Israel’s most important issues.” For instance, Biden has pushed for a two-state solution, Friedman pointed out, “which nobody in Israel wants. … [N]obody with half a brain should want.” In the past, when a two-state solution was in place and the Palestinians in Gaza were self-governing, Perkins noted that “all they did was focus on how they could attack Israel.”
Not to mention that the people in Gaza “have yet to denounce the October 7th attacks on Israel,” Perkins said. As a matter of fact, the Palestinian National Authority (PA) “has a pension system … where they award funds to terrorists … based upon the severity of the terrorist attack,” Friedman explained. In short, “The more Jews you kill or wound or maim, the more money you get as a pension,” he said. “And this goes on to this day.” In other words, Perkins explained, “the PA is just hostility by another name.”
Biden’s agenda for Israel, Friedman argued, would only lead to “another terrorist state and another October 7.” Perkins agreed, adding, “It would not even be kicking the can down the road, because we know exactly what’s going to happen with this setup. They regroup and they attack again.” To which Friedman concluded, whether it’s a two-state solution or ceasefire the administration is pushing, “It’s just a terrible idea on many fronts.”

A new book has revealed that the Chinese government is inundating the U.S. with illegal gun parts that transform handguns into fully automatic machine guns as part of a strategy to create chaos within America. The news comes as a report has surfaced indicating that the communist regime is pursuing a plan to use weapons in space to threaten U.S. satellites.
On Monday, Breitbart revealed that a new book by Senior Contributor Peter Schweizer details how Chinese manufacturers, under the watchful eye of the regime, are shipping “thousands” of boxes of illicit “auto sear switches” to America, which are small metal devices that can convert semi-automatic handguns into fully automatic machine gun-style weapons. The devices are illegal for virtually all gun owners in the U.S.
As Schweizer argues in “Blood Money: Why the Powerful Turn a Blind Eye While China Kills Americans,” the auto switch shipments are part of the regime’s “Disintegration Warfare” strategy, which seeks to undermine the U.S.’s “national will, values, and cohesion” by flooding the black market with the devices, which then fall into the hands of criminals, gangs, and drug dealers.
After U.S. authorities began discovering and blocking direct shipments of the switches from China, Schweizer observes that the porous southern border resulting from the Biden administration’s lax policies is aiding China’s efforts to get the switches into the U.S. via Mexico, just as the crisis is also aiding the distribution of Chinese-manufactured fentanyl. In recent years, the number of switches seized by law enforcement rose “570% during a period of 2017 to 2021, compared to the previous five years.”
Illegal auto switches aren’t the only illicit gun parts making their way into the U.S. via China, Schweizer writes. He reported that a “huge influx” of firearm suppressors, or “silencers,” began to hit America beginning in 2019. “[C]landestinely imported Chinese suppressors enabled criminal gangs and drug cartels in America to get around those requirements and buy them in large quantities,” he wrote. “And over the next three years, federal officials traced an astonishing 42,888 suppressors arriving from China. Those were only the devices they traced. How many more got through?”
Despite the high volume of illegal gun parts originating from China ending up on the streets of the U.S., Schweizer noted that the Biden administration and congressional lawmakers have been curiously silent on the topic. “President Biden has pressed for gun restrictions on ordinary Americans but has never publicly discussed this problem,” he writes, nor has Biden brought up the issue with Chinese dictator Xi Jinping during his recent visits. Similarly, a bill introduced by 11 senators to restrict the switches did not propose any action against China, nor did Senators Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) and Cory Booker (D-N.J.) in their 2021 letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland expressing alarm over the switches.
Similarly, lawmakers have so far not expressed alarm over a Washington Times report published Monday that China is pursuing deploying weapons in space that threaten American satellites, including a nuclear warhead that currently orbits the Earth. The lack of reaction stands in stark contrast to what occurred two weeks ago with the uproar surrounding reports of Russia’s intention of deploying nuclear weapons in space.
The Washington Times story, based off of a U.S. Air Force think tank report, details how the Chinese military has adopted a “space coercion” strategy that includes the use of both ground-based missiles “capable of hitting satellites orbiting at all altitudes,” as well as orbital missiles — including nuclear warheads — which would target “reconnaissance and early warning systems, communication hubs, and command centers; logistics systems, military-industrial bases, electric power and energy systems, and other infrastructure; and counter-force targets, including missile positions, airfields, naval bases, nuclear bases, and information warfare installations.”
While reducing conventional U.S. military power, the report notes that the biggest threat of China’s “space coercion” strategy would be its ability to undermine U.S. nuclear deterrence through a precision-strike nuclear warhead “backed by spaced-based intelligence and tracking,” which would give China’s military “a greater ability to track, target and attack American nuclear forces.”
In addition, the strategy calls for non-nuclear “electronic warfare strikes against satellites, radars, and communications nodes and computer network attacks.” These “[k]inetic attacks would be conducted suddenly, used in short duration, and limited,” according to the report.
During testimony before the House in January, FBI Director Christopher Wray gave a succinct summary of the threat he believes the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) poses to the U.S. “The CCP’s dangerous actions — China’s multi-pronged assault on our national and economic security — make it the defining threat of our generation.”

That process has been developed by Putin with double force, speed, and a new strategy for oil: Venezuela and Iran had been added to the new “Axis of Evil ” in 21st century.

The most popular potential leader of a future Palestinian state is Marwan Barghouti.
He isn’t hiding in a tunnel in Gaza, like Yahya Sinwar, nor living the life of Riley in a luxury hotel in Doha like Hamas leaders Ismail Haniyeh, Moussa abu Marzouk, and Khaled Meshaal. Nor is he living in a $13 million presidential palace in Ramallah like Mahmoud Abbas.
No, he’s in an Israeli prison, and has been for decades. That makes him a hero in the eyes of most Palestinians. Barghouti, you see, was convicted of masterminding the murders of Israelis and sentenced to five life terms.
And that is one of the reasons for his popularity: he’s a real killer of Israelis, and has spent 33 years in an Israeli prison to prove it.
Why does the Western press anoint Barghouti as the best candidate to become head of the Palestinian Authority after Mahmoud Abbas retires or, more likely, dies? Because, as noted above, he isn’t corrupt. The Western journalists fail to recognize that he’s not corrupt only because he hasn’t had a chance; there is no reason to think he would not follow in the footsteps of Mahmoud Abbas (who together with his sons Yasser and Tareq has accumulated a family fortune worth $400 million), or the three Hamas leaders Khaled Meshaal ($4 billion), Ismail Haniyeh ($4 billion) and Mousa abu Marzouk ($3 billion). And he has Palestinian street cred — the kind that 33 years in an Israeli prison can provide.
Incredibly, many of these Barghouti enthusiasts make no mention at all of the innocent people he was convicted of murdering. That’s like murdering them twice.
This is what most endears him to the Palestinian street. The blood of innocent Israeli victims on his hands is precisely what makes him such a popular figure. He not only called for the murder of Israelis, but actually masterminded the murders of four Israelis and a Greek priest mistakenly taken for a Jew.
A second reason is that unlike the three Hamas leaders — Haniyeh, Marzouk and Meshaal —and the rais in Ramallah, 88-year-old Mahmoud Abbas, Barghouti hasn’t stolen billions of dollars from aid meant for the Palestinians because, of course, behind bars he hasn’t had that opportunity.

A Greek Orthodox priest named Georgios Tsibouktzakis was murdered for the crime of driving while mistakenly being perceived as Jewish. And now his killer is being widely touted as the likely first president of “Palestine.”
In recent weeks, pundits in The New York Times, The Guardian and other news outlets have promoted Marwan Barghouti as the best candidate to replace Mahmoud Abbas as head of the Palestinian Authority and then become the first president of the “Palestine” that they hope to establish.
Incredibly, many of these Barghouti enthusiasts make no mention at all of the innocent people he was convicted of murdering. That’s like murdering them twice. Here’s some information on one of Barghouti’s victims.
Georgios Tsibouktzakis was born and raised in the picturesque northern Greek town of Evosmos, a name that means “pleasant scent.” Among its notable sites is the Agios Athanasios Church, which is more than 200 years old.
The Tsibouktzakis family must have been impoverished because upon completing primary school, at age 12, Georgios set aside his studies and found a job in a local fabric factory.
At some point, young Georgios experienced a religious awakening. He adopted an extremely humble lifestyle, giving away his belongings, including his most precious possession—his bicycle—and entering a Greek Orthodox religious order.
After studying at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Georgios decided to go to Israel. And why not? Christianity was born in the Land of Israel. The Christian Bible is filled with references to Judea (although there is no mention of “Palestine,” for some reason). As a devout man of faith, he wanted to spend the rest of his life in the Holy Land.
In 1990, Georgios arrived in Israel and resumed his religious studies at a local Greek Orthodox seminary. After three years, he became a monk and was given the name Father Germanos. Eventually, he was ordained a priest and deacon. He was assigned to live at St. George’s Monastery.

A “Palestinian” state will be a state of the terrorists, by the terrorists and for the terrorists.
Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the PLO’s Palestinian Authority and the other Islamic terrorist groups who make up the official “Palestinian” leadership have been invited for unity talks in Moscow.
The terrorist unity talks scheduled by the Putin regime for the end of February are a homecoming for a “Palestinian” movement invented by Soviet propagandists. Mahmoud Abbas, the long-serving dictator of the PA, wrote his Holocaust denial thesis while studying at Moscow’s Patrice Lumumba University which had trained a generation of third world terrorists.
The invitation to Moscow comes from Putin’s Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov. Materials from a KGB defector revealed that Abbas had worked for the KGB under Bogdanov. Back then Abbas had the KGB codename “mole”, these days, his code name is “president”.
Some of the same ex-Soviet operatives who helped set up and fund the PLO, the PFLP and the rest of the “Palestinian” movement are now trying to unite them all under one single banner.
While the State Department in D.C. and British Foreign Secretary Lord Cameron are talking about immediately recognizing a “Palestinian” state as soon as they can force Israel to stop its campaign to destroy Hamas, the Palestinian Authority is trying to bring Hamas into the state.
The media claimed that Abbas had visited Qatar to hold talks with the Islamic tyranny’s leaders on a “ceasefire”. In reality, the Palestinian Authority leader had been meeting with the Qatari regime, another state sponsor of Hamas, to pursue unity talks with the fellow terror group.
Putin’s relationship with Iran makes Moscow, like Doha, home turf for Hamas. Some weeks after Oct 7, top Hamas leaders had flown out to Moscow to meet with Bogdanov after the Russian official had previously chatted with leaders of the terror group in their home base in Qatar.
In 2006, Putin had reacted to the Hamas takeover of Gaza by declaring that “we are maintaining our contacts with Hamas and intend, in the near future, to invite the leadership of this organisation to Moscow” and emphasized that, “we have never called Hamas a terrorist organisation.” Putin invited Hamas leader Khaled Mashal, who recently claimed that “the Russians told us they would study our Oct. 7 attack in their military academies.”
A week after the Oct 7 attacks, Hamas stated, “we in the Islamic Resistance Movement (HAMAS) appreciate Russian President Vladimir Putin’s position on the ongoing Zionist aggression against our people and his opposition to the siege of Gaza”.
After Oct 7, Putin and China’s Xi had blocked a UN condemnation of the Hamas atrocities. Now Russia is working on uniting its old PLO friends and its new Hamas friends. But Russia and Qatar are not alone. The Biden administration and the European Union are all pushing for a “Palestinian” state after they force a ceasefire. And that state will inevitably include Hamas.
“Russia has invited all Palestinian factions who will be meeting on the 26 of this month in Moscow. We will see if Hamas is ready to come to the ground with us,” Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh informed the Munich Security Conference. “We are prepared to engage. If Hamas is willing to join us, that’s positive. We need Palestinian unity,”
“One should not continue focusing on October 7,” he warned attendees at the forum.
“Hamas is an essential part of the Palestinian political map. Israel’s talk of eliminating Hamas will not happen and are not acceptable to us,” Shtayyeh had told Qatar’s Doha Forum in December around the same time that the PA was holding unity talks with Hamas in Doha.
After the Oct 7 attacks, Biden claimed that, “the vast majority of Palestinians are not Hamas. Hamas does not represent the Palestinian people.” In reality, polls show that Hamas would easily win any current election, as it won the last set of “Palestinian” elections in 2006, leading Abbas and his Fatah faction to seize total control of the West Bank and reject any future elections. Hamas was able to take over Gaza leading to the two “Palestinian” statelets.
In January, Abbas’ spokesman had promised to “hold general elections, and if Hamas wins, the president will hand over the [Palestinian] Authority.”
With polls showing that Hamas would handily win an election, If Abbas is serious this time, that means recognizing a “Palestinian” state will mean creating a Hamas state inside Israel.
Hamas and the Palestinian Authority had been holding unity talks on and off, including four months before the Oct 7 attacks, and quickly began holding them again afterward.
The current proposal, like previous ones coming out of the unity talks, places Palestinian Authority officials up front, so that terrorists can receive foreign aid from America and the EU, while Hamas officials maintain an official subsidiary role but continue to control Gaza.
In the past, Hamas had been able to siphon foreign aid through UNRWA, but as it now faces the possibility of utter destruction in Gaza, it may be more willing to accept the proposal being advanced by Qatar, Russia, the EU and the Biden administration. While Russia and Qatar may be more publicly supportive of their Hamas allies, all the proposals come down to a government of “technocrats” serving as the public face of the Palestinian Authority and Hamas.
Shtayyeh is an example of one of those “technocrats”, academics with experience in extracting foreign aid and telling foreign diplomats what they want to hear, but with no actual political power, who were put into place to act as a cover for the Arafat and Abbas regimes. A similar puppet regime of technocrats subsidiary to Afghanistan’s warlords had operated in Kabul before it fled the Taliban. The Taliban and the Biden administration have resurrected a version of its “technocrats” to administer the funds going from the United States to Afghanistan.
The current plan is to blame Oct 7 entirely on Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas in Gaza, and a few of his cronies, to demand their expulsion, and then to make a deal with the “moderate” Hamas leaders in Doha before putting the plan for a “Palestinian” state in overdrive. But the Moscow summit is a warning that any such state will never be anything other than a terror state.
The primary difference between the Qatari and Russian positions, and the Biden and EU position, is plausible deniability. Qatar and Russia want Hamas out front, while Biden and the EU prefer it out back. And we already know from Afghanistan how that will end up working out.
The Qataris negotiated our deal with the Taliban that would have made the Islamic terrorist group a part of a multilateral government. Americans died to maintain that State Department fiction as the Taliban were advancing to take over the entire country. Hamas had its chance to be part of a multilateral government with other Islamic terrorists and each time it chose to try and take everything. Biden and the EU may want to keep Hamas in the background, but history tells us that, like the Taliban, it will eventually seize power and dominate any “Palestinian” state.
It’s difficult to know whether Secretary of State Blinken and the State Department personnel who pretended until the last moment that the Taliban were not trying to take over Afghanistan, but only to take a stronger position in the negotiations for a united government really believed that. It’s also difficult to know whether they truly believe that their proposed “Palestinian” state will be anything other than a terrorist state that will eventually fall into the hands of Hamas.
But we know that not only Qatar and Russia, but the Biden administration and the EU, have urgently fought against any Israeli move into Rafah that would finish off Hamas in Gaza.
It’s obvious why Qatar or Russia’s Bogdanov are condemning an attack on Rafah, but the Biden administration has introduced a draft UN resolution calling for a ceasefire, and from Biden on down have warned Israel against going into Rafah. The internal reasoning is probably similar to the one that guided Nixon and Kissinger during another October war 50 years ago.
During the Yom Kippur War, Secretary of State Henry Kissinger had told Soviet Ambassador Anatoly Dobrynin that “my nightmare is a victory for either side.” He warned that without negotiations and a deal, “the Israelis [will] have pushed the Arabs out of every territory and “If we do nothing by Tuesday, Wednesday at the latest, Arabs will have been defeated.”
“I do not mean to imply that he wanted Israel to lose the war, he simply did not want Israel to win decisively. He wanted Israel to bleed just enough to soften it up for the post-war diplomacy he was planning,” Admiral Elmo Zuwalt, the former head of the Navy, wrote in his memoir.
The Biden administration also wanted Israel to defeat Hamas, but not to defeat it too much.
The administration is worried that if Israel wins in Rafah, it will win too much and be much less interested in its diplomatic solution of creating a “Palestinian” state which it believes is the real solution to the conflict. And it needs Hamas to provide pressure on Israel to create such a state.
The same failed idea that has haunted the region for decades is that Islamic terrorism can only be defeated by giving the terrorists some, but not all, of what they want. Much as it did not occur to the State Department that the Taliban would want everything, it refuses to believe that Hamas would want everything. And every time the negotiations fall apart, history is rewritten again.
In an article published in early October, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan described the negotiations that had brought peace between Hamas and Israel. “We have de-escalated crises in Gaza,” he boasted. The online version of the article has been edited to remove those words.
Since December, Sullivan has taken to warning Israel to “transition” to a new “phase” of the war in which it stops its military campaign and goes back to occasional drone attacks on Hamas leaders. And then he and the rest can get started building their “Palestinian” state. And when Hamas takes over again, more articles will have to be edited and more bodies will be buried.
The Biden administration, the European Union (for now only being held off by Hungary), Russia and the rest of the international community are preparing to reward Oct 7 with a terrorist state. A ‘Palestinian’ state will be a state of the terrorists, by the terrorists and for the terrorists.
The 10/7 attacks reminded Israelis of what Americans had known and forgotten after 9/11.

A lot is riding on that battle for Israel, for America, Europe and the free world. That is why the leaders of the international community and the diplomats of the world are fighting to save Hamas. They just can’t take a joke. The former president Donald Trump made a sarcastic crack about encouraging Russia to attack NATO members who didn’t invest in their defense, and hysteria enveloped both Washington and Brussels. For some officials, the imbroglio appeared to signal the end of Western civilization.
Even worse, Europeans realized that they might have to do more for themselves militarily. The continent’s policymakers have begun thinking the unthinkable. Reported theNew York Times, “European leaders were quietly discussing how they might prepare for a world in which America removes itself as the centerpiece of the 75-year-old alliance.” What is the world coming to if European governments can no longer cheap-ride the U.S.? The horror!
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has spurred European governments to spend more. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said18 of 31 members will meet the alliance’s two percent of GDP standard this year, three times the number in 2016.
Trump’s comment should accelerate this process, probably more than all the complaining, whining, and demanding of prior presidents combined. He claimed that the leader of an unidentified large European country asked if Trump would send in the American cavalry if that nation failed to meet its NATO obligations. Trump responded: “I said: ‘You didn’t pay? You’re delinquent?’… ‘No I would not protect you. In fact I would encourage them to do whatever they want. You gotta pay.’”
No serious person should take Trump’s comments as a formal policy statement. Rather, it sounds like a witty riposte to a whiny Eurocrat seeking to justify his or her government’s irresponsible refusal to fulfill a state’s most fundamental duty, protecting its citizens. What American angered by decades of European cheap-riding did not secretly cheer Trump’s statement, especially when a febrile gaggle of European officials responded by wailing that Uncle Sam might stop playing Uncle Sucker?
One of the more stunning admissions came from the usual unidentified source, in this case an anonymous European diplomat speaking to Fox News: “When Trump came along, it woke us up to the fact that the U.S. might not always act in European interest, especially if it goes against American interest.” That was quite the admission, as the source granted: “It sounds naive saying it out loud, but that was the assumption a lot of people made.”
Imagine! The problem is not that Europeans gloried in getting American officials to put Europe first—that is to be expected. Rather, the outrage is that American officials did so. And apparently did so routinely, without the slightest sense of shame. It took the undiplomatic, untutored, potty-mouthed Donald Trump to restore a sense of sanity to the U.S.–Europe relationship.
Treating the Pentagon as an international welfare agency for well-heeled clients is not the only problem with NATO today. Creating an alliance so heavily dependent on one nation encourages other states to fantasize at America’s expense. Their representatives often concoct grand military schemes for “NATO”—in practice meaning the U.S.
For instance, shortly after Russia invaded Ukraine, a medley of Baltic government officials proposed imposing a “no-fly zone” over the latter. To be effective, such a ban would require shooting down planes operating over Russia as well, leading to full-scale war. Yet neither individually nor collectively do Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania possess anything approaching an “air force.” Obviously, they wouldn’t be enforcing a no-fly zone.
More recently, Estonia’s President Alar Karis pushed for naval confrontation with Moscow: “Western countries should establish a military presence in part of the Black Sea to ensure the safe movement of commercial and humanitarian aid vessels.” Estonia, however, has precisely six boats, two for coastal combat and four for mining. They are backed by two planes and two helicopters—for transport. Evidently, someone other than Tallinn would have to do the confronting.
Foreign commentators promote equally ambitious plans. Simon Tisdall, columnist for the United Kingdom’s Guardian newspaper, decided that the sword was, in fact, more powerful than the pen and wrote a column urging the use of “NATO’s overwhelming power to decisively turn the military tide” in Ukraine. Yet the U.K. military is shrinking and isn’t likely to be turning “the military tide” in Europe or elsewhere.
Two weeks ago, Peter Bator, Slovakia’s Permanent Representative to NATO, came to the U.S. to complain to Americans that the alliance—meaning them, the Americans—had not intervened on behalf of Ukraine. Rather melodramatically, he imagined his grandchildren saying, “You were the most powerful military organization in the world and you decided not to militarily support Ukraine. Please explain this to me.” Tragically, he couldn’t. “I would have difficulties,” he admitted. He said he could “find many fine arguments” of a “theoretical rhetorical” nature but would “still have problems just explaining it to myself.” So off to war, the transatlantic alliance should go!
Slovakia has only 17,950 people in the military and deploys just 30 main battle tanks, 60 artillery pieces, 19 combat aircraft, and 37 helicopters. Obviously, that doesn’t constitute “the most powerful military organization in the world.” Bator must be thinking of borrowing someone else’s armed forces “to militarily support Ukraine.” Probably not those of the Baltic states or London. I wonder whose?
It is one thing to be self-sacrificing and generous with one’s own life. Indeed, that’s just Biblical. Alas, that’s not what Bator expects. He is offering to sacrifice the lives of others—in this case, Americans. If NATO ends up at war with Russia, we all know who would be doing the bulk of the fighting and dying—Americans. If the conflict were to go nuclear, we know whom the Russian ICBMs would be targeting—Americans again. As for Slovakians, Bator undoubtedly would lead them in praising the U.S. for remaining steadfast for all that is good and wonderful as its cities burn and people perish. After all, that is Washington’s role in NATO, and he would probably express his satisfaction when talking to his grandchildren. What could be better than that?
It has long been evident to all that the transatlantic alliance is unbalanced. When it was created in 1949, even its proponents insisted that the U.S. would not provide a permanent garrison. Dwight D. Eisenhower declared, “We cannot be a modern Rome guarding the far frontiers with our legions if for no other reason than that these are not, politically, our frontiers. What we must do is to assist these people [to] regain their confidence and get on their own military feet.”
Unfortunately, the Americans stayed even as the Europeans recovered. And spent the last 75 years cheap-riding on the U.S. NATO officials are now celebrating that a majority of members, supposedly gravely threatened by Moscow, are finally devoting two cents on the Euro to their defense. Meanwhile, the expansion of NATO helped radicalize not just Vladimir Putin but the Russian public and was an important trigger for Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine. Sixteen years ago, Fiona Hill, who gained notoriety after serving with the Trump National Security Council, warned President George W. Bush that inducting Ukraine and Georgia into NATO was “a provocative move that would likely provoke pre-emptive Russian military action.”
Perhaps most perversely, Washington has turned an alliance intended to augment U.S. security into an international dole. In recent years, NATO’s expansion policy has been bizarre, including nations whose militaries amount to rounding errors. Even the latest additions, Finland, added last year, and potentially Sweden, which awaits approval from Hungary’s parliament, are only minor powers despite their PR buildup. (What sets Helsinki apart is its outsize reserve.) Nor do they make America more secure. Rather, the U.S. has again expanded its responsibilities in confronting a major conventional military power that possesses nuclear weapons.
While NATO officials proudly boast about the alliance’s capabilities, many of its members matter not at all. Consider the weakest links which, like Slovakia, sometimes harbor grandiose ambitions that only America can fulfill. Slovakia’s armed forces, as mentioned, number 17,950. Allies with smaller militaries are Croatia, 16,700; Denmark, 15,400; Sweden, 14,600; North Macedonia, 8,000; Albania, 7,500; Estonia, 7,200; Latvia 6,600; Slovenia, 6,400; Montenegro, 2,350; Luxembourg, 410; Iceland, 0. In contrast, America has 1,359,600 men and women under arms.
This didn’t matter so much at the start. No one imagined a Soviet invasion of the original military midgets, Denmark and Luxembourg. They were geographically incidental to defending countries with significant populations and industrial potential, then France and Italy, and later Germany. Iceland offered bases for the West best denied to Moscow under any circumstances.
In contrast, the recent defense dwarfs are concentrated in the Baltic and Balkans, neither of which is of security significance to America. The former is of minimal geographic concern and difficult to defend. The latter still suffers from its toxic history of confrontation and conflict. Europe might believe either or both to be worth defending, despite the famed Iron Chancellor Otto von Bismarck’s observation that the latter “wasn’t worth the life of a single Pomeranian grenadier.” It is certainly not in America’s interest to do so. And it is America’s interest that should determine American military policy.
Europe deserves Trump’s harsh words, but diplomacy is necessary to disentangle the U.S. from the continent. Washington shouldn’t withdraw abruptly since its defense dependents have configured their militaries—that is, skimped on outlays and short-changed readiness for decades—in reliance on America’s permanent presence. They need time to adjust. But not too much.
It is essential that the U.S. set a definite deadline for terminating its security guarantee. Subsidizing the indolent and privileged is bad for Europe as well as America. The Western allies should remain close and continue to cooperate on issues of common concern. However, the relationship should be among equals about issues important to all.
Donald Trump’s limitations are obvious, but he understands Europe, its addiction to U.S. military welfare, and the resulting cost to this nation. President Joe Biden expects Americans to die for Europe. Trump believes Europeans should do the dying for their own countries. A serious foreign policy debate on this issue is long overdue.

I received an email from the Veterans Administration saying that I was eligible to apply for added disability benefits if I had been exposed to “toxic materials” during my 20 years of military service.

I provided the VA with doctor’s reports on my being diagnosed with acute asthma, emphysema, and Myasthenia gravis which is a chronic neuromuscular disease that causes weakness in the voluntary smooth muscles, including muscles that connect to bones, face, throat, lungs and diaphragm.
I was interviewed by the local VA clinic and my application was sent forward.
I received a letter this week denying my request.
I found this astounding as I read an article that reported that the VA was helping pay migrant treatment as over 400K veterans, and their families, are waiting for their benefits.

We decided to look into this issue, as we support all of our veterans, especially those who seek treatment related to service connected injuries.
The VA’s Austin, Texas-based Financial Services Center (FSC) has been contracted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) since 2002 to process reimbursement claims by providers who offer services to detained migrants.
In fiscal year 2022, which ended Sept. 30 of that year, FSC processed 161,538 such claims, with the ICE Health Services Corps (IHSC) paying out an average of $584 — a total of $94.3 million in taxpayer money, according to a July 2023 Department of Homeland Security report on “Healthcare Costs for Noncitizens in Detention.”
In the previous fiscal year, 2021, ICE’s health care arm budgeted more than $74 million for the VA’s FSC to assist with “outside referral care” and “medical claims processing,” according to a report from July 2022.
Meanwhile, the pile of benefit claims by veterans and their families awaiting adjudication has grown to 417,855, according to the VA’s own website — up from around 150,000 as of late 2022.
WASHINGTON D.C. – U.S. Rep. Mike Bost, chairman of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, today introduced legislation to block the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) from using its resources to provide healthcare or engage in claims processing for illegal migrants. The “No VA Resources for Illegal Aliens Act” comes after reports indicated the Department of Homeland Security is leveraging the VA’s established claims processing system, through its Financial Services Center, to pay for illegal migrants in ICE detention.
“Joe Biden’s failed border policies have created a humanitarian and national security crisis. Now it appears he’s taking resources away from our veterans to facilitate healthcare for illegal migrants,” said Chairman Bost. “As a Marine, I believe any dollar taken away from a veteran is a promise broken to those who served. I’ve demanded answers from the Biden administration and been stonewalled every step of the way. Until I get the response our veterans deserve, I’ll use every available tool of my chairmanship to end this practice and put our veterans first.”
The VA’s Financial Services Center supports the VA’s Community Care mission to ensure veterans have access to healthcare without being forced to travel long distances or suffer lengthy wait times for care by allowing veterans to choose whether to seek care at a VA facility or within their own community. Bost’s legislation would ensure the VA is fully focused on meeting the needs of our veterans.
U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) introduced companion legislation in the U.S. Senate.
The Bottom Line
The Biden regime only cares about illegal aliens, not veterans of our armed forces. He is robbing these veterans, many combat veterans, to pay off illegals to vote for him and the Democrat Party.
This is a travesty and borders on treason.
Not to fully fund our veterans is both immoral and has led to our current recruitment crisis.
It is time to change the Commander-in-Chief with someone who will fully fund and support our veterans.

The Biden administration on Friday restored a U.S. legal finding dating back nearly 50 years that Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories are “illegitimate” under international law.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the U.S. believes settlements are inconsistent with Israel’s obligations, reversing a determination made by his predecessor, Mike Pompeo, in the Biden administration’s latest shift away from the pro-Israel policies pursued by former President Donald Trump.
Blinken’s comments came in response to a reporter’s question about an announcement that Israel would build more than 3,300 new homes in West Bank settlements as a riposte to a fatal Palestinian shooting attack.
It wasn’t clear why Blinken chose this moment, more than three years into his tenure, to reverse Pompeo’s decision. But it came at a time of growing U.S.-Israeli tensions over the war in Gaza, with the latest settlement announcement only adding to the strain. It also came as the United Nations’ highest court, the International Court of Justice, is holding hearings into the legality of the Israeli occupation.
Biden administration officials did not cast Blinken’s comments as a reversal — but only because they claim Pompeo’s determination was never issued formally. Biden administration lawyers concluded Pompeo’s determination was merely his opinion and not legally binding, according to two administration officials who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss private discussions.
But formally issued or not, Pompeo’s announcement in November 2019 was widely accepted as U.S. policy and had not been publicly repudiated until Blinken spoke on Friday….

A bill targeting illegal immigration in Arizona has passed the Arizona State Senate along party lines.
Republican Sen. Janae Shamp’s legislation dubbed the “Arizona Border Invasion Act” would criminalize crossing into Arizona under state law unless it is through a legal port of entry at the United States-Mexico border.
In addition, Senate Bill 1231 would give civil immunity to government employees who would enforce the proposed law.
“Well, I think what it’s gonna do is put the focus back where it needs to be with the states,” Shamp told The Center Square.
“They’re not enforcing anything,” she said regarding the Biden administration’s handling of the border crisis.
The Republican is hoping that it will ultimately get the signature of Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs.
“My message is: Please sign this. Please give our law enforcement a tool. Take the handcuffs off of them,” the senator said.
However, the governor’s office told The Center Square that she plans on vetoing the legislation.
“From day one Governor Hobbs has taken strong action to secure our border and is fighting for increased funding to combat the fentanyl epidemic and expand Operation SECURE,” a Hobbs spokesman said in a statement. “SB1231 is unconstitutional, will not secure the border, and will drive away businesses and jobs from Arizona. She will not sign it.”
The vote on Wednesday was 16-13-1, sparking a debate on the floor about the legislation implications for migrants.
Democratic critics of the bill have argued it is too similar to Senate Bill 1070, which was signed by former Republican Gov. Jan Brewer in 2010 and had some parts shot down by the U.S. Supreme Court.
“I think that this bill is just a direct criminalization answer. And what we have seen, and we have data that shows that criminalizing any area of policy does not yield the results that I think that we’re looking for here,” Sen. Anna Hernandez, D-Phoenix, told The Center Square.
While the governor has deployed National Guard troops to the southern border and been critical of the Biden administration, she previously vetoed Republican-backed border bills last session. In total, Hobbs vetoed 143 Republican-sponsored bills in 2023, according to theArizona Capitol Times.
A similar debate is unfolding about a similar piece of legislation in House Bill 2748, which is sponsored by Rep. Joseph Chaplik, R-Scottsdale.
Migrant encounters at the Arizona border have remained high in recent months. In fiscal year 2024, the Tucson sector has seen 250,611 encounters so far, as well as 22,908 encounters in the Yuma sector, according to Customs and Border Protection data.
Hundreds of migrants were dropped off on the side of the road in San Diego, California, on Friday after funding for a reception center ran dry, according to The Associated Press.
Border Patrol buses dropped off hundreds of migrants from places like China, Kazakhstan, Ecuador and Rwanda, among other countries, at a San Diego bus stop instead of a county-funded reception center that closed down Thursday after running out of funds, the AP reported. The reception center was run by SBCS, a local nonprofit formerly known as South Bay Community Services, which San Diego County gave $6 million to provide migrants with food, phone charging stations and travel advice, alongside other services.
San Diego, like other major cities, is facing strain amid the country’s ongoing migrant crisis.
The city saw a daily average of 800 illegal-crossing-related arrests in January, including an average of over 100 Chinese migrants a day, according to AP.
SBCS served 81,000 migrants in the county since Oct. 11, the group said, according to the AP. With SBCS’ reception center now closed, Border Patrol said to expect roughly 350 migrants to be released on the streets Friday.
Nora Vargas, chair of the San Diego County board of supervisors, defended the performance of the migrant reception center, which was supposed to stay open until March.
“Nobody is perfect, especially when you’re trying to fill a gap from the federal government,” Vargas said. She recently petitioned the Biden administration for increased support, according to AP.
Vargas isn’t the only official seeking increased federal support as large cities struggle to cope with the influx of migrants. The mayors of New York City and Chicago have asked the Biden administration for financial resources to aid them in handling the migrant crisis.
The San Diego mayor’s office and SBCS did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s requests for comment.

February 25, 2024 / JNS — Once the IDF launches its military operation in Gaza’s southernmost city of Rafah, it will be “weeks away from total victory,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told CBS News on Sunday.
Plans for the IDF offensive in Rafah, Hamas’s last stronghold in the Gaza Strip, will be reviewed by the political echelon on Sunday, the premier said in an interview with CBS‘s “Face the Nation.”
The potential hostages-for-ceasefire deal under discussion in Doha won’t stop the IDF from operating in the city, Netanyahu added.
“If we have a deal, it will be delayed somewhat, but it [the Battle of Rafah] will happen. If we don’t have a deal, we’ll do it anyway,” he stated.
“We very much want to achieve another [hostage] release and we are prepared to go far, but we are not prepared to pay any price, certainly not the delusional prices that Hamas is demanding of us, the meaning of which is the defeat of the State of Israel,” said Netanyahu last week.
“I speak with world leaders every day. I tell them decisively: Israel will fight until we achieve total victory. And indeed, this includes action in Rafah, of course after we allow the civilians found in the combat zones to evacuate to safe areas,” said Netanyahu.
“Whoever wants to prevent us from operating in Rafah is telling us in effect to lose the war. I will not allow this. … We will not surrender to any pressure. We will not surrender, because we are a people of heroes. We will not surrender because we are a people that desires life. We will not surrender because we must—must—defeat the evil,” he added.
The comments came after U.S. President Joe Biden demanded a temporary ceasefire to secure the release of hostages in Gaza, claiming that a deal “has to” go through before Israel launches a military operation in Rafah.
In a call on Thursday with Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Lloyd Austin, the U.S. secretary of defense, raised “the need for a credible plan to ensure the safety of and support for the more than one million people sheltering in Rafah before any military operations proceed there.”
“We have worked out a detailed plan to do so. And that’s what we have done up to now,” explained Netanyahu. “We are not cavalier about this. This is part of our war effort, to get civilians out of harm’s way. It’s part of Hamas’s effort to keep them in harm’s way. But we’ve so far succeeded and we are going to succeed again.”

A 26-year-old man believed to have entered the US illegally has been charged with murdering nursing student Laken Riley, whose body was found on the University of Georgia campus after going for a run, according to police.
Jose Antonio Ibarra was arrested on Friday for allegedly kidnapping and killing the 22-year-old Augusta University junior, UGA Police Chief Jeffrey Clark told reporters at a press conference Friday night.
Ibarra was not a UGA student and is not a US Citizen, Clark said.
He and Riley had no prior relationship.
“He did not know her at all. I think this is a crime of opportunity where he saw an individual and bad things happened,” Clark said.
Ibarra is a Venezuelan national who illegally crossed the southern border into El Paso, Texas in September 2022, News Nation reported, citing multiple DHS sources. He was released from DHS custody over a lack of detention space, according to the outlet.
Riley, a dean’s list student and sorority member, was found dead with “visible injuries” in a wooded area near Lake Herrick around 12:38 p.m. Thursday.
Clark confirmed Friday that she died of “blunt force trauma.” Her alleged killer, Jose Antonio Ibarra, was arrested and charged in the killing on Friday.
Ibarra’s apartment in Athens was being searched by authorities while Clark spoke, but he said police had enough evidence to charge him before the search warrant was executed.
“The evidence is robust. It is supported by key input by the community, physical evidence and expert police work. Importantly, we were assisted by video footage from our campus security cameras network,” Clark said.
Three or four persons of interest had been questioned but only Ibaira was charged.
