The U.S. Department of Defense’s Biological Threat Reduction Program collaborates with partner countries to counter the threat of outbreaks (deliberate, accidental, or natural) of the world’s most dangerous infectious diseases.  The program accomplishes its bio-threat reduction mission through development of a bio-risk management culture; international research partnerships; and partner capacity for enhanced bio-security, bio-safety, and bio-surveillance measures. The Biological Threat Reduction Program’s priorities in Ukraine are to consolidate and secure pathogens and toxins of security concern and to continue to ensure Ukraine can detect and report outbreaks caused by dangerous pathogens before they pose security or stability threats.

Current executive agents of the Biological Threat Reduction Program in Ukraine are the Ministry of Health, the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, and the Ministry of Defense.

Ministry of Defense (MOD) COVID-19 Response Assistance

Sanitary-Epidemiological Department (SED) of the Medical Command of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense received four mobile laboratories from DTRA with the goal of reinforcing the system of epidemiological surveillance in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense received an official Order from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine concerning the deployment of the mobile labs to the regions of Kyiv, Lviv and Eastern Ukraine to help with the COVID-19 response.

On April 11, 2020, President Zelenskyy visited the SED unit in Pokrovskoye City, Donetsk Oblast, and familiarized himself with the capabilities of the mobile laboratories to help military and civilian people during the COVID-19 epidemic. (News article)

Laboratory Construction

BTRP has upgraded many laboratories for the Ministry of Health and the State Food Safety and Consumer Protection Service of Ukraine, reaching Biosafety Level 2. In 2019, BTRP constructed two laboratories for the latter, one in Kyiv and one in Odesa.

Science Writing Mentorship Program (www.SWMProgramUA.com)

The Science Writing Mentorship Program (SWMP) was initiated at the beginning of 2016. The overall focus of SWMP is to advance One Health initiatives and disease risk mitigation in Ukraine through effective dissemination of scientific findings at BTRP-supported laboratories. The program seeks to improve the science writing skills of participants to afford them the opportunity for publishing and obtaining grants for projects.

In addition, there is an annual Ukraine Regional One Health Research Symposium that features participants of SWMP and many others. In 2019, the Symposium had a total of 553 participants and 446 presentations.

BTRP invites Ukrainian scientists to participate in scientific conferences worldwide where they have the opportunity to present their work and integrate into the international science community.

In 2016 the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection signed a memorandum on joining a multi-national working group with the goal to strengthen global health security and create well-functioning disease surveillance networks in the Eastern European region that includes Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine.

District’s push for ‘gender-nonconforming’ accommodations has irked parents and educators

A school district in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, has become the center of a parent-teacher firestorm after leaked documents revealed instructors told parents they must “earn” the right to know their children’s sexual identity, and showed the school pushed a “heterosexual privilege” checklist.

The district’s aggressive push for “gender-nonconforming” accommodations has irked parents and educators who say the school’s training and policy changes surrounding the issue have gone too far.

“The actions of the Eau Claire Area School District are not only dangerous to the mental, emotional and physical health of its students, but they also violate the constitutional rights of parents to make choices about their family life and upbringing of their children,” said Ian Prior, senior adviser at America First Legal and creator of the Fight for Schools PAC.

Of particular scorn in the district’s guidance was a slide stating, “Some transgender, non-binary, and/or gender-nonconforming students are not ‘open’ at home for reasons that may include safety concerns or lack of acceptance. School personnel should speak with the student first before discussing a student’s gender nonconformity or transgender status with the student’s parent/guardian.”

Groups of parents expressed outrage at the notion they had to earn access to their children’s information.

“Remember, parents are not entitled to know their kids’ identities. That knowledge must be earned,” a training slideshow for the Eau Claire School District told school staff.

Or to just quote USA Today, “Marsha Blackburn asked Ketanji Brown Jackson to define ‘woman.’ Science says there’s no simple answer.”

A good rule of thumb for testing to see if you and your movement have gone completely insane is if you imagine emailing a link to a story 5 years into the past to the past and trying to imagine if your past self would believe that this was anything other than a hoax.

Show that one to a lefty 10 years ago and he would be pretty sure some right-wingers made it up. Of course now everyone has to fall in line with the current insanity.

“Science says that the sun revolves around the earth.”

“Science says ghosts are real and really racist.”

“Science says UFOs are homophobic.”

There’s a point here, beyond dismantling biology, the human family, and society. It’s also about dismantling reality. Back to 1984.

The Party has that women don’t exist. Only birthing people or bleeders. And you must conform to this reality because it shows you are submitting to the Party. If the Party can make you believe women don’t exist, they can make you believe anything.

Water Vapor, Not Mankind, is the Greatest Contributor to Green House Gases

It seems over the past decades there’s been the notion that mankind has been the largest contributor to green house gas emissions. While green house gases do come from things developed to help mankind grow and prosper like: factories, plants that produce energy, cars, trucks, railroads, airplanes, they combined are not the greatest contributor to green house gasses.

It is important to understand what are green house gases and how they help or harm mankind and what should be done.

According to the EPA Greenhouse gases are:

  • Carbon dioxide (CO2) Carbon dioxide enters the atmosphere through burning fossil fuels (coal, natural gas, and oil), solid waste, trees and other biological materials, and also as a result of certain chemical reactions (e.g., manufacture of cement).
  • Methane (CH4) Methane is emitted during the production and transport of coal, natural gas, and oil.
  • Nitrous oxide (N2O) Nitrous oxide is emitted during agricultural, land use, industrial activities, combustion of fossil fuels and solid waste, as well as during treatment of wastewater.
  • Fluorinated gases [A]re emitted from a variety of industrial processes.

Therefore, according to the EPA, in order to reduce greenhouse gas pollution by 50-52% we must: stop using all fossil fuels, stop making cement, stop transporting coal, natural gas and oil, stop growing crops and raising cattle, pigs, chickens, etc., stop industrial activities, stop treating waste water and finally end all industrial processes.

QUESTION: Is it necessary to inflict massive hardship on mankind in order to “save the plant”? Or, is there something else going on?

That something else going on which are the natural processes on the earth, in conjunction with the sun, that are the greatest creator of green house gasses and have been since the beginning of time.

What is the Great Contributor to Green House Gases?

Water vapor is the most important, abundant greenhouse gas. Water vapor accounts for 60-70% of the greenhouse effect while CO2 accounts for 25%.

In a September 23rd, 2010 article titled “Water Vapor, CO2, and Global Warming” Anita Dotson wrote:

As the atmospheric temperature rises, more water is evaporated from ground storage, such as that found in our rivers, oceans, soils, and reservoirs. The released water vapor becomes a greenhouse gas where it then absorbs more energy radiated from the Earth and thus warms the atmosphere. The warmer atmosphere results in further water evaporation and the cycle continues. This mechanism is known as a Positive Feedback Loop.

Also, a common mistake that people make is to think that the “smoke” rising from power station cooling towers is air pollution. However this is simply water vapor being emitted as steam. This is not air pollution.

On November 17th, 2008 NASA released a report titled “Water Vapor Confirmed as Major Player in Climate Change.” In the report NASA stated:

Water vapor is known to be Earth’s most abundant greenhouse gas, but the extent of its contribution to global warming has been debated. Using recent NASA satellite data, researchers have estimated more precisely than ever the heat-trapping effect of water in the air, validating the role of the gas as a critical component of climate change.

Andrew Dessler and colleagues from Texas A&M University in College Station confirmed that the heat-amplifying effect of water vapor is potent enough to double the climate warming caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

With new observations, the scientists confirmed experimentally what existing climate models had anticipated theoretically. The research team used novel data from the Atmospheric Infrared Sounder (AIRS) on NASA’s Aqua satellite to measure precisely the humidity throughout the lowest 10 miles of the atmosphere. That information was combined with global observations of shifts in temperature, allowing researchers to build a comprehensive picture of the interplay between water vapor, carbon dioxide, and other atmosphere-warming gases. The NASA-funded research was published recently in the American Geophysical Union’s Geophysical Research Letters.

“Everyone agrees that if you add carbon dioxide to the atmosphere, then warming will result,” Dessler said. “So the real question is, how much warming?”

The answer can be found by estimating the magnitude of water vapor feedback. Increasing water vapor leads to warmer temperatures, which causes more water vapor to be absorbed into the air. Warming and water absorption increase in a spiraling cycle.

The Bottom Line

We have known for decades that water vapor is both a major contributor to green house gases and that water vapor holds in other green house gases. The problem is we, mankind, cannot eliminate the natural production of water vapor on earth.

Simply put, there’s  nothing mankind can do noting to stop the earth from producing water vapor.

Which leads us to the second myth of mankind becoming “carbon neutral.” Governments cannot regulate, mandate or control how much CO2 is in the atmosphere because every living creature from mankind, to animals, to plants, to fish in our vast seas and oceans emit CO2. Each of us, by simply breathing, emits as a by product CO2.

Is the answer for us to stop breathing? Some believe that we must control not only the growth of population but actually reduce our population. This is scary stuff. Who decides who lives and who dies? Who decides what we need to do to reduce the CO2 in the atmosphere using draconian measures? Government or you?

In our column “The Unrealistic Myth of Carbon Neutrality” we wrote:

Amazon aims for total carbon neutrality. Apple aims for total carbon neutrality. FedEx plans to replace its entire gas and diesel powered delivery trucks and replace them with electric powered vehicles.  In 2030 Mercedes committed to selling EVs exclusively “where the market allows.” Porsche aims to be totally carbon neutral. In 2025 Jaguar will become an all electric brand. Honda is planning to sell only electric vehicles in America. In 2027 Alfa Romeo plans on selling only electric vehicles in China, Europe and the U.S. In 2035. General Motors pledged to sell only electric vehicles unless “the market demands otherwise” and aims for its global products and operations to be carbon neutral. Mercedes aims to be carbon neutral in 2039. And finally, Ford, Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi Motors, Subaru, Toyota and the Volkswagen Group aim for total carbon neutrality by 2050.

Do you see where this is all going? 

If you want to destroy an economy, eliminate jobs, stop heating homes, stop manufacturing cars, trucks, and SUVs that use gasoline or diesel fuels, stop flying planes that use jet fuel, stop manufacturing, end farming, stop getting clean water, and all of those related industries, then just go carbon neutral.

Stopping the use of power plants using coal, natural gas and oil will literally shut down America. Our nation will become worse than a third world country, we would return to the stone age before mankind discovered fire.

QUESTION: Is this idea of carbon neutrality good for you and me or bad for you and me?

ANSWER: NO! Carbon neutrality is about government making decisions that are best left up to individual consumers.

We have learned three things about the climate:

  1. The climate changes.
  2. These changes in the climate are due to natural cycles (e.g. summer, fall, winter, spring).
  3. There is nothing mankind can do to change these naturally occurring cycles.

This ends this lesson on what is the greatest contributor to green house gasses and how there’s not a damn thing we can do about it.

Twitter denied the Christian satire site The Babylon Bee’s appeal on Wednesday after it had its account locked down over a joke calling transgender HHS assistant secretary Dr. Rachel Levine a “man.”

“Twitter has denied The Babylon Bee’s appeal. They wrote, ‘Our support team has determined that a violation did take place, and therefore we will not overturn our decision,’” Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon announced on Wednesday.

The Babylon Bee’s unforgivable offense was to post an article on Sunday mocking USA Today for recently declaring the biological male Rachel Levine a “woman of the year.”

“The Babylon Bee’s Man of the Year is Rachel Levine,” read the headline.

Twitter then locked the site’s account for 12 hours on the condition they delete the tweet, alleging it violates the platform’s “hateful conduct” policy.

“We’re told our account will be restored in 12 hours, but the countdown won’t begin until we delete the tweet that violates the Twitter Rules,” Dillon said at the time. “We’re not deleting anything. Truth is not hate speech. If the cost of telling the truth is the loss of our Twitter account, then so be it.”

Twitter also censored Fox News host Tucker Carlson for posting screenshots of tweets from the Babylon Bee calling Levine a man.

If you want to know who holds the power in a society, ask whom it is you are not allowed to criticize.

2 Known Connections

On February 25, 2021, Republican Senator Rand Paul, who is a physician by training, questioned Levine vis-à-vis her support for dangerous medical procedures for minors identifying as transgender – procedures designed to prevent the youngsters from going through what Levine called “the wrong puberty.” Specifically, Levine has advocated for allowing minors to receive hormone blockers as well as genital-mutilation surgeries whose physical effects are irreversible. After Paul pointed out that genital mutilation is viewed as “a violation of human rights” almost everywhere in the world, and that “80 to 95 percent of prepubertal children with gender dysphoria” snap out of it “by late adolescence” if left alone, he asked Levine: “Do you believe that minors are capable of making such a life-changing decision as changing one’s sex?” Levine replied evasively: “Well, Senator thank you for your interest in this question. Transgender medicine is a very complex and nuanced field with robust research and standards of care that have been developed. And if I am fortunate enough to be confirmed as the Assistant Secretary of Health, I will look forward to working with you and your office and coming to your office and discussing the particulars of the standards of care for transgender medicine.”

Senator Paul then tried again: “Do you support the government intervening to override the parent’s consent to give a child puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and/or amputation surgery of breasts and genitalia?” In reply, Levine repeated the obviously rehearsed “thank you for your interest” remarks almost verbatim.

One MSNBC commentator was so appalled by Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, questioning Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson about her support for critical race theory, he claimed it was like watching the senator commit a “hate crime” against the Supreme Court nominee.

Jackson faced several questions Tuesday from Cruz about her knowledge and support of critical race theory. Jackson has previously praised New York Times’ reporter Nikole Hannah-Jones’ “1619 Project” and serves on the board of trustees of an elite, private school in Washington D.C., which promotes CRT books such as Ibram X. Kendi’s “How to be an Anti-Racist.”

During a break in the hearing Tuesday evening on “The Beat,” political strategist and MSNBC commentator Chai Komanduri asserted that Judge Jackson was only being asked about CRT because she is a Black woman. He told MSNBC host Ari Melber, the CRT questions were about “casting her as a radical. As a Black radical who is out to get White people.”

Komanduri went on to say watching Cruz question Jackson felt like witnessing a “hate crime.”

“[I]t’s really ugly. Quite frankly, it looked like I saw Ted Cruz commit a hate crime, in that hearing room. It was McCarthyism at its worst,” he said.

He also accused the GOP of stirring up racial grievances against the Black nominee.

“He wants to gin up White grievance, him and Marsha Blackburn, the GOP want to gin up White grievance, ahead of the midterm and link Judge Jackson to that cause. It’s really frankly was disgusting and ugly to watch,” Komanduri added….

Supporters of Republican Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan are launching a new ad campaign highlighting his suspension of the state’s gas tax as high gas prices squeeze Americans across the country.

The ad by An America United, a nonprofit organization which supports the governor, emphasized that Hogan was the first governor in America to suspend his state’s gas tax. Georgia halted their tax the same day last week, and lawmakers in West Virginia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, New York, Tennessee and Virginia are considering doing the same.

The average price of gas in Maryland has fallen by around 47 cents since the tax was paused, according to AAA. The tax accounted for 36 cents in cost. In the new ad, first obtained by the Daily Caller, Hogan calls on President Joe Biden to reverse his environmental decisions that have led to a reduction in American energy independence, so that the U.S. can stop relying on foreign oil. He was one of 25 GOP governors to sign a letter to the White House making such a request.

Some state leaders across the country have called on the federal government to suspend its gas tax as well, which amounts to 18 cents per gallon.

High gas prices have quickly become a foremost issue facing the Biden administration, alongside already-rising inflation and the crisis in Ukraine. Sanctions on Russia have contributed to the rise in gas prices, experts say, and inflation has made nearly all goods more expensive in recent months. The pro-Hogan ad hits Biden for recently saying he couldn’t do anything to fix high gas prices, and instead deflected blame to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Spring Break 2022 ended in Miami Beach with a bang — or rather with a bunch of them. Multiple shootings along the beachfront Ocean Drive prompted city officials to announce a curfew for the rest of the week from midnight to 6 pm. “We can’t endure this anymore. We just simply can’t,” pleaded Mayor Dan Gelber. “This isn’t your mother and father’s spring break. This is something wholly different.”

It’s not just spring breakers letting off steam. Violent crimes of all varieties are increasing nationwide. Five people were shot in Baltimore last weekend. In Seattle, Amazon temporarily relocated 1,800 employees due to increased shootings near its facility. Armed robberies in Los Angeles are up 44 percent over the same period last year. In Atlanta, murder has risen 43 percent and rape has risen 236 percent over the same period last year. Pick any city, and you’ll likely find crime is up. These violent crimes continue to increase annually, even after the record 30 percent increase from 2019 to 2020.

What’s driving the rise in lawlessness? According to former law enforcement officer Jason Johnson, now Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund President, one factor is the “demoralization and disempowerment of police in the wake of what I think most people consider unfair criticism.” Police “will take their cues from the elected officials.” If they aren’t confident that their department will back them up, “they’ll be very hesitant to put themselves in that position.” Putting their safety on the line is part of the job, but when police feel they could lose their job — or even their retirement — for doing the right thing, that undermines their effectiveness.

While not calling to defund the police, President Biden “has embraced the idea of demoralizing and disempowering law enforcement,” said Johnson. In one unprecedented example, the Biden Justice Department refused to provide legal representation for four U.S. marshals facing lawsuits. Such an anti-police attitude will “result in an actual reduction in the professional standing of law enforcement officers,” said Johnson, which means “at some point these agencies will have to reduce their professional standards.” Insisting all police are bad apples draws relatively more bad apples into the bunch.

A second factor Johnson identified is “the election of ‘social justice’-oriented prosecutors” who “are averse to prosecuting criminals.” What rational officer will risk his neck to arrest a criminal when he knows the government officials will refuse to prosecute him? Criminals understand this as well as cops. “Therefore, there’s an atmosphere of permissiveness and lawlessness, that there won’t be any consequences or accountability,” Johnson explained.

A still more fundamental factor is a loss of national morality built upon religion, as 89 percent of “Washington Watch” listeners affirmed. America has lost its way ever since it kicked God out of the classrooms, but now even the morality built upon God’s Word isn’t tolerated. As President George Washington said in his farewell address, “of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.”

Finally, lawlessness is the fruit of bad leadership. When the people of Israel worshiped the golden calf at Mount Sinai, Moses wrote that “the people had broken loose (for Aaron had let them break loose, to the derision of their enemies)” (Exodus 32:25). To end the national disgrace, Moses had to restore order and carry out justice. This meant that wrongdoers had to face consequences. His actions serve as a model for any nation plagued by lawlessness. As Proverbs says, “Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law” (Proverbs 29:18).

Iran’s Leaders Guided by Apocalypstic Beliefs

In Islam, there is an end-of-times scenario in which the Mahdi, a descendant of the prophet Mohammed, returns and leads the forces of the true believers in the final battle with the infidels. What is particularly alarming are the repeated pronouncements of Iran’s leaders indicating their belief that the time for this apocalyptic struggle is now.  Since the 1950s, the threat of nuclear apocalypse and mutually assured destruction has helped deter the use of nuclear weapons.  For Iran’s leaders, that threat is an incentive rather than a deterrent.

A History of U.S. Delusions About Iran’s Goals

The Biden administration’s delusions about Iran have a long history.  Multiple American administrations have made the mistake of believing that there was some package of benefits that could be offered to Iran to dissuade it from developing nuclear weapons. For more than 40 years, the Iranian leaders have shown a single-minded determination to acquire these weapons, and there is no carrot that the U.S. can offer them to give this up.

From its beginning in 1979, the Islamist regime in Iran has viewed terrorism as an essential component of its foreign policy and a tool for waging war against its enemies and spreading Islamic revolution. Iran works with and supports nearly every militant Islamist organization in the world and is the leading sponsor of terrorism worldwide.

Essential Details of the New Iran Deal

Iran is Getting Much More Than it Expected

  • In an interview with Iran’s official news agency IRNA, Mikhail Ulyanov said, “Iran got much more than it could expect. … Realistically speaking, Iran got more than frankly I expected, others expected.”
  • The Obama-era agreement sought to keep Iran a year away from a nuclear weapon for 13 years. The new deal appears to leave Iran with half the breakout time (six months) for half as long (seven years).
  • Iran continues enriching more uranium and installing more advanced centrifuges, further shrinking its breakout window.
  • The administration will lift sanctions on a host of Iranian banks and companies involved in terrorism. This will give Tehran immediate access to an estimated $86.1 billion to $130.5 billion in foreign assets to be used for funding its many terrorist proxies around the world.
  • The new deal will lift sanctions on nearly all of the 112 people and entities sanctioned under Supreme Leader’s Office Executive Order. These are some of the most evil and dangerous terrorist leaders and sponsors in the world today. It would also lift sanctions on Khamenei’s personal slush funds.
  • One of the primary beneficiaries of the new deal will be Hezbollah – Iran’s largest and most dangerous terrorist proxy.
  • The new deal also includes a record-breaking $7 billion ransom payment for the release of four Americans from an Iranian jail. Other sources indicate that the ransom payment will be $11 billion.
  • As part of the deal, the Biden administration is considering removing Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) from the foreign terrorist organization list, just after the IGRC launched missiles at U.S. targets in Iraq and continues to threaten the U.S., Israel, and other Western Nations with further missile attacks.

Iranian Plot to Assassinate John Bolton Exposed

  • A U.S. Justice Department official recently exposed the IRGC’s plot to assassinate former U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton.

New Deal is Brokered by Russia and Subject to its Demands

  • While President Joe Biden has promoted strong sanctions against Russia for its invasion of Ukraine, the U.S. has been relying on Russia to help broker the new agreement with Iran.
  • Russia is using the deal to garner sanction relief over their involvement in the invasion of Ukraine.
  • The Biden Administration has already waived sanctions on Russia’s state-run nuclear energy company Rosatom to allow a $10 billion contract to expand Iran’s nuclear power plant at Bushehr.

Aside from all the other perfectly good reasons to keep Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on the United States (U.S.) Department of State Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO) List, there is one more that it seems no one wants to mention.

The Biden administration seems absolutely desperate to be allowed back into the disastrous July 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) – or simply, the Iran nuke deal. Maybe it’s Biden’s longing for some legacy “accomplishment” to call his own; or maybe he just yearns to be remembered as the “Anything But Trump” President. Whatever the reason, the Biden administration has been busy giving away the store in Vienna for nine rounds of talks and counting, dating back to late 2021.

So far, and although the administration has done its best to conceal what’s actually going on with the negotiations, word coming out through various officials such as Gabriel Noronha, a former State Department official, is that the concessions being granted the Iranian regime under leadership of U.S. Special Envoy to Iran Robert Malley are “very dangerous” for U.S. national security as well as for the Middle East region. According to Noronha, a number of delegation members, including U.S. Deputy Special Envoy to Iran Richard Nephew, have quit the team because of just such concerns. Those concerns rightly center on the Iranian regime’s documented drive for deliverable nuclear weapons, which renewal of the deal would only legitimize. Adding insult to injury, the American delegates aren’t even allowed in the same room with the Iranians but must participate from another room through the Russians, led by Russian diplomat Mikhail Ulanov, who’s essentially been running the show.

Reportedly under consideration are the wholesale lifting of sanctions on the Iranian regime, release of billions of dollars currently frozen in South Korean banks and elsewhere, and removal of sanctions against top regime terrorists, including former IRGC commander Mohsen Rezai and advisor to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei Ali Akbar Velayati, who were responsible for the 1994 Iran-Hizballah bombing of the AMIA Jewish cultural center in Buenos Aires. Also under consideration for sliding out from under sanctions is Iranian IRGC Gen. Hossein Dehghan, who, together with Hizballah terror chieftain, Imad Mughniyeh, was responsible for the 1983 suicide bombing of the Marine Corps barracks in Beirut, Lebanon that killed 241 U.S. Marines.

Worst of all, listening to State Department spokesman Ned Price, it seems the Biden administration is even considering lifting the designation of the IRGC as a Foreign Terrorist Organization…in return, perhaps, for some vague promise from the jihadist regime to “de-escalate” in the ME region, whatever that means. Never mind that the FTO designation is not the only place the IRGC (or its subordinate unit, the Qods Force) is listed as a terrorist organization: removing it from this designation would be touted among jihadis everywhere as a feather in the Tehran regime’s cap and a selling point to attract business investment. As Matt Levitt writes at The Washington Institute, granting this coveted concession would allow Iran to continue sidestepping any accountability for its terror support, human rights abuses, illicit financing, and more.

The Iranian regime has long been named the foremost state sponsor of terrorism in the world. It has never stopped funding, training, and weapons support to terror proxies like HAMAS, Hizballah, the Houthis in Yemen, Gaza’s Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and a clutch of Iraqi Shi’ite terror militias. But for some reason, what’s hardly ever mentioned is the Iranian regime’s decades-long jihad terror relationship with al-Qa’eda and collaboration with it in the attacks of 9/11.

Not one president, from G. W. Bush, through Barack Hussein Obama, and even Donald J. Trump, not to mention Joe Biden, has ever publicly held the Iranian regime to account for its role in the most devastating attack ever on American soil. The IRGC, and especially its Qods Force (then under the command of MG Qassem Suleimani), worked closely with Hizballah, Saudi Arabia, and the Taliban in the conception, direction, and execution of those horrific attacks. The Havlish, et al vs. Osama Bin Laden, Iran, et al. legal case concluded in December 2011 with Judge George Daniels of the Southern District of New York ruling from the bench that Iran and Hizballah were co-responsible with al-Qa’eda for the 9/11 attacks. Of the 41 total affidavits supporting that decision, it is Exhibit 6 (co-written by this author) that details the history of the Iran, Hizballah, al-Qa’eda relationship, including extensive open source citations that document the role of the IRGC and Qods Force.

It’s hard to think of a more important reason why neither the IRGC nor the Qods Force must ever be removed from the FTO list.

I know the Left never quits, but this is ridiculous.

The Left has been pursuing its dream of controlling the people through healthcare for more than a century.  Those chasing the dream in Vermont had a rude awakening a few years ago when the Democrat Governor killed a single payer proposal after realizing it would bring payroll taxes to 25 percent to pay for it.  But now they’re back, pushing a bill that would phase in single payer in Vermont over ten years.  Apparently, it’s the boil-the-frog-slowly theory – hoping people won’t notice a huge tax increase if taxes are raised a little at a time as the state takes over more pieces of the healthcare system.

Meanwhile, a single payer healthcare bill in California died last month after its main sponsor pulled it from the floor for lack of votes.  Even Democrats don’t all agree single payer is a good idea.  The bill would have cost $400 billion a year, doubling California’s budget. It would have turned everything upside down even though only a tiny fraction of California residents are without insurance or public healthcare assistance.  But you can bet the radical nurses associations and other Leftists will try to bring single payer back next year.

Leftists are still chasing the dream of single payer at the federal level, as well.  The socialist sympathizer Pramila Jayapal is back with another single payer bill which has 120 co-sponsors in the House.  But if they can’t get the whole enchilada at once, salami-slicing their way to single payer will do.  Super-sizing Obamacare subsidies is just the first slice.  To paraphrase a Tibetan proverb, beware of salami offered on a sharp knife.

Public option insurance, now in its second year in Washington state, is another slice.  But it’s not going so great, there.  Enrollment is nothing to write home about. Advocates are already talking about forcing hospitals to participate because hospitals won’t voluntarily join public provider networks on their own.  Other states planning public option insurance are looking at this and building coercion into their plans right from the start.  America, land of the free – unless you’re a hospital, I guess.

A single payer bill being considered in New York would raise taxes to unprecedented levels.  The bill would spread the misery around through hikes in payroll taxes, income taxes, and capital gains taxes which would more than double the state’s already stratospheric tax take.  The bill would hit self-employed people especially hard.  Careful what you wish for. High state tax rates means wealth will pick up and move to another state.  Just ask Maryland which tried to institute a millionaire’s tax some years ago.

Meanwhile, more town are virtue-signaling their support for single payer.  The most recent town resolutions are pending in Ft. Collins  where the Democratic Socialists of America are involved, and Cleveland Heights.  Gotta hand it to the Left.  Pretty clever to get politicians to vote for something their town will never have to pay for. Great way to make it look like the idea is gaining momentum.

The Left has also taken the fight for single payer to the AMA, the membership of which narrowly defeated a support proposal in 2019, encouraging supporters to try again. It’s a certainty the fight’s not over there yet, given that the AMA has recently gone Woke, urging doctors to recognize their minority patients as “oppressed” and “historically marginalized”.

There are lots of reasons to oppose single payer.  In my most recent commentary on this subject [1/14/22], I talked about how healthcare will become totally politicized and doled out the way Washington wants, not the way you want and you won’t have any options left.  Today, I’ve mentioned tax hikes in single payer proposals in Vermont, California, and New York.  The CBO found a year ago financing federal single payer could double income tax rates, or worse.  It found more recently single payer could cut GDP by 10 percent if you take away the assumption it could be financed by cutting the federal budget in other places.  It’s not likely you could ever cut the budget enough in other places to pay for single payer.  That leaves destructive tax hikes as the most likely outcome if the Left succeeds.

The Left never quits, so we must keep fighting.  Remember, single payer is not about healthcare.  Relatively few people are without insurance, government healthcare assistance, or the means to pay for it themselves.  This means the fight is about controlling the people through their healthcare, not about healthcare itself, just like the congressman let slip during the Obamacare fight.  The Left makes single payer sound so sweet, but what it really means is the Left’s complete domination over the rest of us.  It comes down to this: Do you want to keep your freedom or not?

Under President Biden, geopolitical tensions with Russia and China have risen, while America lost face in the Afghan debacle.

51 percent of Americans believe the world is less stable since President Biden took office, according to a TIPP poll conducted for the Center for Security Policy.

The survey, conducted in early March, asked “Generally speaking, since President Biden took office is the world…” 24 percent of respondents said that the world was more stable, 18 percent said there had been no significant change, and 7 percent were not sure.

There was a sharp difference along party lines: 22 percent of Democrats, 88 percent of Republicans, and 53 percent of independents believe the world is less secure.

Russia’s Invasion Of Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine on February 24 – the largest military conflict in Europe since World War II –undoubtedly impacted Americans’ perception of world stability. While the President is not responsible for many of the factors that contribute to global instability, only about one-third of the country gave Biden good grades for his handling of Russia.

A recent TIPP poll showed that 56 percent blame Biden’s Afghan debacle for emboldening Putin to invade Ukraine. Another poll, conducted by the Harvard Center for American Political Studies (Caps)-Harris, found that 62 percent of those surveyed believed Putin would not have invaded Ukraine if former President Donald Trump was still in office.

Biden’s Handling Of Russia

In late 2021, the Biden administration began warning about a build-up of Russian troops on the Ukrainian border. The administration provided extensive detail about the intelligence, raising eyebrows among national security experts as intelligence agencies typically go to great lengths to avoid revealing sources and methods.

Despite that, Biden repeatedly said the U.S. would not send troops – not even to evacuate Americans in Ukraine because it would be “world war.” In fact, Biden removed U.S. troops training Ukrainian fighters days before the invasion to avoid the possibility of U.S.-Russian military interaction.

Biden went to great lengths to tell Putin that the United States did not want a war with Russia – which was precisely what Putin wanted to hear. Putin invaded Ukraine without the risk of a U.S. military response.

Despite strong rhetoric, Biden’s actions since the invasion have been similarly weak-kneed. The European Union announced sanctions against Putin personally and agreed to cut Russian banks out of the SWIFT financial system before the Biden administration announced they would do the same. Sanctions did not include energy exports – which account for 36 percent of Russia’s total budget – until March 8, and only after the U.K. announced they would phase out Russian energy.

Furthermore, the administration has subcontracted negotiation of the Iran nuclear deal to Russia. The details of the agreement with Iran have not been made public, raising bipartisan concerns in Congress. Russia has already used its positions in the negotiations to its advantage by halting discussions until the U.S. agreed it would not sanction Russian nuclear projects in Iran – which will amount to a multi-billion dollar payout for Moscow.

Unfortunately, President Biden’s refusal to act decisively against Putin will be noticed by other dictators around the world and until that changes, Americans can expect more global instability.

Alek Skarlatos is a former National Guardsman, an American Patriot, a proud conservative Republican and is running for Congress in Oregon’s 4th District.

In an email titled “270 rounds of ammunition” Alek Skarlatos lays out why we endorsed his run for the U.S. Congress in Oregon’s 4th Congressional District. Alek states:

I had just finished serving our great nation in Afghanistan when I decided to take a vacation with my two childhood friends in Europe during 2015. We were traveling on a Paris-bound train when a terrorist armed with a gun, a jar of gasoline, and 270 rounds of ammunition attempted to take over our train.

As a soldier, I was trained to take out a terrorist threat – As an American, I was taught to stand up for freedom no matter where I was in the world. Which is why I, my friends and other brave travelers took the action needed to stop this terrorist.

For this, the President awarded me the United States Army’s Soldier’s Medal, and the events of that fateful day were later retold in the film The 15:17 to Paris, directed by Clint Eastwood.

But I didn’t do what I did to receive recognition – I did it out of duty. And now, duty is calling me again.

I have seen the dangers of this world, and I have stood up for freedom in the face of terrorism. I know the strength it takes to stand up and fight for what is right – which is why I want to take on the anti-American, radical-Left in Washington.

Lithium is often dubbed as “white gold” for the development of electric vehicles.

The cost of lithium needed to make electric car batteries is up 472% just in the past 12 months and 850% since Biden took office.

Biden, Harris, Buttigieg and Democrats want America to go all green and want to force Americans to drive only “clean cars” powered by lithium batteries. All electric vehicles (EVs) are now in the crosshairs. Having charging stations is not the issue. The issue is what will be the future cost of owning “clean cars”?

The The Biden-⁠Harris Electric Vehicle Charging Action Plan states,

President Biden has united automakers and autoworkers to drive American leadership forward on clean cars, and he set an ambitious target of 50% of electric vehicle (EV) sale shares in the U.S. by 2030. Now, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law will supercharge America’s efforts to lead the electric future, Building a Better America where we can strengthen domestic supply chains, outcompete the world, and make electric cars cheaper for working families.

There’s only one problem with the Biden-Harris EV action plan, the market and the price for lithium has sky-rocketed.

In the March 22, 2022 edition of the Independent Journal Review Warner Todd Huston reported,

One of the key ingredients in the battery packs that power EVs is lithium. This mineral is important in the production of glass, aluminum products and batteries of all sorts, especially for electric cars.

According to Mining.com, battery-grade lithium carbonate is up 95 percent thus far in 2022, and a whopping 472 percent over the course of the past 12 months.

As the soaring prices of lithium and other minerals needed to manufacture EVs soar, the costs of battery packs for EVs are seeing pressure. Already the battery pack is one of the most expensive parts of an electric vehicle, with prices ranging from $10,000 to $25,000 to replace them — and that does not include labor.

Today, three countries—Australia, Chile, and China—mine roughly 86% of the world’s lithium.

It appears from this chart that the United States produces little of the key ingredient to make Biden’s all electric dream come true. But Communist China, the third-largest lithium producer, has been on the front foot in the race for lithium.

Visual Capitalist reported, “Since 2018, Chinese companies have snapped up over $5 billion worth of lithium mining projects in various countries. Furthermore, the country also dominates the refining and battery manufacturing stages of the lithium-ion supply chain.”

Biden’s Dream has Become a Nightmare

Lithium batteries do not make energy. Batteries do not make electricity – they store electricity produced elsewhere, primarily by coal, uranium, natural gas-powered plants, or diesel-fueled generators.

To say an EV is a zero-emission vehicle is not at all valid.

To manufacture each EV auto battery, you must process 25,000 pounds of brine for the lithium, 30,000 pounds of ore for the cobalt, 5,000 pounds of ore for the nickel, and 25,000 pounds of ore for copper.

Incredibly one must dig up 500,000 pounds of the earth’s crust for just – one – battery.

According to senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute Mark P. Mills,

Hydrocarbons supply over 80 percent of world energy: If all that were in the form of oil, the barrels would line up from Washington, D.C., to Los Angeles, and that entire line would grow by the height of the Washington Monument every week.

Mills also notes,

A 100x growth in the number of electric vehicles to 400 million on the roads by 2040 would displace five percent of global oil demand.

It costs less than $0.50 to store a barrel of oil, or its equivalent in natural gas, but it costs $200 to store the equivalent energy of a barrel of oil in batteries.

About 60 pounds of batteries are needed to store the energy equivalent of one pound of hydrocarbons.

The Bottom Line

Biden’s “clean car” plan is a myth. Clean cars and green energy from solar and windmills cannot and will not make America carbon neutral or energy independent.

As we wrote,

According to the EPA, in order to reduce greenhouse gas pollution by 50-52% we must: stop using all fossil fuels, stop making cement, stop transporting coal, natural gas and oil, stop growing crops and raising cattle, pigs, chickens, etc., stop industrial activities, stop treating waste water and finally end all industrial processes.

Sixty-eight percent of the world’s cobalt used to make EVs, a significant part of a battery, comes from the Congo. Their mines have no pollution controls, and they employ children who die from handling this toxic material. Should we factor in these diseased kids as part of the cost of driving an electric car?

The truth is that mankind cannot become carbon neutral without hurting mankind itself.

Biden’s dream is a myth that kills.

Don’t forget that China dominates global battery production with its grid 70 percent coal-fueled.

EVs using Chinese batteries will create more carbon-dioxide than saved by replacing oil-burning engines.

P.S.  Don’t forget that CO2 and carbon are not the same.  Carbon is the incredibly versatile element, that as Carl Sagan pointed out years ago, “likes to combine.”  You’re made of it.  Carbon dioxide is what you get when a carbon molecule combines with two molecules of oxygen.  CO2 is the odorless, invisible gas you just exhaled.

An thus ends this lesson on Biden’s clean cars folly.

That text message sent my heading spinning.

Lombardi warned me that information coming from Ukraine, the media and the Biden Administration needed to be viewed with extreme caution.

He explained how an American-led PYSOP campaign perfected during the 2014 Ukrainian coup is being used on Americans, particularly against Trump supporters.

His text message was curious, to say the least.

But then I started to look into things, a lot of things.

While I was researching the 2014 Ukrainian coup, another strange thing happened.

YouTube suddenly banned Oliver Stone’s 2016 “Ukraine on Fire,” a documentary about that Ukrainian coup (popularly known as EuroMaidan).

Well, when YouTube bans something, we should immediately see sparks of a cover-up. But when YouTube bans a documentary made by a liberal filmmaker, we should see lightning bolts.

Senators have established that Ketanji Brown Jackson is unfit to serve on the Supreme Court. Will a majority of them now spare us the damage she would do there?

Under cross-examination, Judge Jackson has signaled that she has not merely a problematic judicial philosophy, but a radical ideological agenda. Her mask has slipped revealing: an admirer of the subversive Maoist divide-and-conquer strategy known as Critical Race Theory; a slavish devotee of leftist identity politics; and a reflexive advocate for even the most odious of criminals, namely terrorists and child sex offenders.

Some Republican Senators previously voted to put her on an appellate court bench. They are now on notice that she would not only be a hard leftist justice. It is predictable that, if confirmed, she will radicalize what is today a minority of the Court, but possibly a future majority.

It’s amazing how fast I’m back to this subject.  But the stories about crazy leftists keep piling up.

This week, a Disney actor called Senator Tom Cotton an ‘f***ing white slaver piece of s***’ for Cotton’s questioning of Ketanji Brown Jackson. So much for civil discourse.

AOC recently blamed oil companies for the kidnapping, rape, and murder of Native American women across the U.S.   Wild accusations are easy to make; now let’s see you prove them.  Did you know that watching AOC on TV causes tooth decay?

A Democrat congressman from New Jersey said people who talk about parental rights are just the crazy fringe, want to ban books, seeking power, support gun violence, and a distraction from fighting climate change. He forgot ‘racists’ and ‘white supremacists’, but that’s OK, they were filled in by a leftist sex education guru who advocates ‘porn literacy’ for children.  Johnny and Jane can’t read, but they sure know how to gawk at pictures, thanks to people like him.

Racists and white supremacists, huh?  Only being able to see your opponents as cartoon characters and caricatures is what you get for believing your own propaganda.  That’s why Kamala Harris can’t tell the difference between Republicans wanting voter ID laws today and the state troopers who attacked black protesters in Selma in the 1960s. And Pramila Jayapal thinks voter ID requirements are the same as Putin invading Ukraine.  How crazy is that?

Nancy Pelosi claimed Joe Biden has reduced the national debt by a trillion dollars.  Actually, the debt has gone up two-and-a-half trillion dollars since Biden took office.  Not being able to accurately perceive reality is a sign of mental illness.  When they put her in the loony bin, Pete Buttigieg will be in the padded cell next to her. He claims increased government spending reduces the national debt.  How does that work?

Another leftist with no grasp of economic realities is Rashida Tlaib who thinks there is no real inflation, it’s just the evil corporations jacking up prices and extorting people.  Gee, why didn’t the evil corporations think of that BEFORE Joe Biden became President?

Did you know that freedom is just a white thing?  That’s according to an editorial in the Washington Post which claimed the Canadian truckers were just white supremacists and their belief in freedom is “a key component of White supremacy.”  So the slaves didn’t want to be free? I wonder what Frederick Douglass and Booker T. Washington would have thought about that?  So much for the huddled masses yearning to breathe free. I’m going to start a national campaign to paint the Statue of Liberty white because only white people want to be free.

Then there’s the abortion crowd who are going completely bonkers at the prospect of Roe v. Wade being overturned.  They’re now claiming that all babies who might be born in poverty should be killed in abortions even though their parents might win the lottery the next day.  They also claim killing babies in abortions is pro-child.  That’s how warped these people have become.  Don’t expect any rational thinking out of them any time soon.

Unhinged leftists would be amusing, if they weren’t so violent. A teacher in Texas said conservative Christians all need to get COVID and die. A CNN analyst was so mad at the Canadian truckers, she urged people to slash their tires and empty their gas tanks.  Another Disney miscreant, ESPN, celebrated a cop-killer character in an HBO show.

If you’re having violent thoughts like these, I suggest you seek professional help – you are going off the rails.  And, if you find yourself in sympathy with any of the crazy Leftists I’ve discussed here today, stop and ask yourself:  Why would you want to hang around with these people?  They’re nuts.

Open letter to Dean Baquet

Executive Editor of The New York Times

Good day Deano,

I hope today finds you well at your desk, as the Executive Editor of the iconic New York Times.  It seems your tabloid itself has been very much in the news as of late. Those radical right wingers are at it again, questioning your tabloid’s veracity and dedication to journalistic integrity—the nerve Deano!  Well let’s put together some facts and let the public judge for themselves, shall we old sport?

Hunter’s Laptop

Well is seems Joey Robinette’s prodigal son, Hunter (former energy expert, now famous artist), is back in the news again.  When will these right wing lunatics stop their relentless assault on the Biden crime family, um, I mean Biden family?  I thought that we had solved the issue of Hunter’s laptop during the Presidential installation of 2020.

Remember Deano—when about a month before the installation, the New York Post reported that Hunter’s laptop was discovered in a Delaware repair shop, with some very incriminating emails on it.  This was verified, in part by interviewing recipients of emails, from said laptop.  Some of the evidence even pointed to the angelic, morally uncompromised, Joey Robinette (aka, the Big Guy, Mr. 10%).

The New York Times to the Rescue

Thank goodness, a legitimate trustworthy news outlet such as The NY Times was able to squash this hyped-up propaganda immediately.  I believe the ‘go to’ battle cry at the time was, “Russian disinformation.”   Together with the aid of such other credible stalwart outlets like: CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, The Washington Post—as well as social media icons Twitter and Facebook, you were able to slam that door shut.  In addition, we had unbiased celebrities and talk show hosts; and of course with credible political powerhouses like Chardonnay Pelosi and Adam Schiff, we were able to silence this vile propaganda.   Of course, let’s not forget those 50 “intelligence officials,” who concurred wholeheartedly.  The FBI too, who has had said laptop in their possession for years now.  Calm down Conservatives, the Gestapo, I mean FBI have their hands full, you know, investigating Joey’s daughter’s diary.   These investigations take time unless of course……….. it involves the “insurrection”.  Then the FBI perform with lightning fast efficiency.  Conservatives see it a very different way Deano, let’s look at it from their viewpoint.

“The news that is fit to print”………..Sometimes!

Conservatives point out that you, Dean Baquet, recently ran an article in The Old Gray Lady in regards to this matter.  It seems now, 17 months after that original story ran, you are NOW corroborating this New York Post article.  Even in this article, you waited until the 24th paragraph to mention these facts (must have been an oversight by your editing department).  Have you taken leave of your senses, Deano old boy?  Have you drank the proverbial right wing Kool-Aid?  Why the admission of this evidence now?

Conservatives say that there is no reason to withhold the truth anymore.  No reason to omit, lie, or censor factual information— the mentally addled, corrupt puppet Joey Talibiden has been installed.  That it was a concerted effort by tabloids such as yours, that omitted or better yet, “fact-checked,” these incriminating emails.  They refer to you and your ilk as journalistic disgraces, who long ago sold your souls and integrity to become a political arm/hack of the Democratic/Progressive Party.  They add, this combined with your blatantly deceitful arrogance and hubris, has done irreparable harm to the core of honest, unbiased journalism. With your printing or omission of your vile, fictional tripe, I say bravo, Deano!

Mission Accomplished

So, I guess you ruffled a few Conservative feathers Deano.  I’m with you buddy, the end justifies the means, as far as I’m concerned.  The main objective of course, was to block elected President Trump from being legitimately re-elected; partly, by hiding any incriminating criminal evidence against the Houseplant-in-Chief, and his corrupt family. So what if some fraud had to be committed to secure the vote……no harm, no foul, right Deano?  So what if you had to run a little interference (many say, a lot), to get the job done.  It’s all good.  President Trump is a racist!

Is Joey Gonna have to Take a Dive?

I understand there is another train of thought here champ.  A few unnamed sources (WAPO trick I picked up), feel Joey Bidenflation has worn out his welcome with his puppet masters.  You know, those behind the scenes, who are hard at work destroying this great country while using the Vegetable-in-Chief as a mouthpiece – a very bad one at that, they add.  They are saying, he is in the process of being Cuomo’d.

From what I understand, these powers that be are not happy with little Joey’s, in-the-toilet poll numbers, and his never ending slew of screw-ups.  Sources say, Deano, your admission to the authenticity of Hunter’s (famous artist) laptop, is proof that Joey may be being set up to step down.  Of course, I know your honesty and professionalism are pure as the driven snow, but the timing does seem a bit peculiar champ, I mean 17 MONTHS?

Moral Compass Gone Astray Deano?

Unnamed source’s say Conservatives want to know how you push out this blatant partisan nonsense, day in and day out.  They are curious how people like you, or the Minister of Propaganda, Jen Goebbels Psaki do this everyday and then go home to your families?

They wonder if you guys teach the golden rule at home for you children: tell the truth, be responsible for your actions, own up to your mistakes, treat others the way you would like to be treated?  Do you then, turn that switch off in your heads once you get in the car and head out to work?  Or do you teach your kids to lie, deflect, and connive from the time they start to talk?   Do Peppermint Patti Psaki’s kids run to the door when Mom comes home and ask, “what lies did you tell today Mommy?”  It takes a certain type of person to pull that off……..you should be proud!  President Trump is a racist!

Andy’s Back!

I see Andy boy may be throwing his hat in the political ring again.  He shouldn’t let all those nursing home deaths and sexual harassment issues get in the way. As Andy said, “what can I say, I’m Italian.”  Word is he will be handing out cannoli’s at polling places. I see Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli, reported that ole Andy severely under reported the number of nursing home deaths.  Funny though Deano, people were screaming for these numbers for months while Andy was still governor, and Tommy D. remained silent. Then Andy starts hinting he may venture back into politics and …………voila, Tommy had those numbers likkity split.  Remarkable!  Who says Tommy DiNapoli isn’t on the up and up!

Will The Times, as usual be endorsing ole Romeo Cuomo?

NATO Summit

It is good to see our fearless leader Joey Talibiden, heading overseas to meet with NATO leaders. I’m sure he will be setting policy and showing who is in charge over there. In the meantime, it is nice to see the other world leaders leading Joey around by the arm—pointing in the direction of the bathroom—wiping the spittle off his chin after his juice box and mac and cheese lunch, and waiting with him until “Dr.” Jill picks him up.

Reportedly, Heels Up Harris was originally supposed to be representing us over there in Brussels.  I was shocked that she was shelved, seeing as she did so well last time she was abroad.  When asked to comment on this Kalamity said, “we have to go, in order to go, I will go, to go where they go, we have to make sure we go, ultimately we will go, in order to go. Thank you, no more questions.”

That’s it for today Deano.  Keep up the great work at The Old Gray Lady.  With all the madness going around, we can always count on The Times…….for entertainment, if nothing else.  Remember this, when you get home to tell the family all the lies, I mean reporting you oversaw today as the Executive Editor of the New York Times.  Well done Dean Baquet, we’ll done.
