DHS Fails to Deport 99.7% of the 2.1 Million Illegal Immigrants it Freed Inside U.S.

Besides shattering records for allowing enormous amounts of illegal immigrants into the U.S. through the Mexican border, the Biden administration has also failed to deport millions of migrants released by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) inside the country pending removal proceedings. Between January 20, 2021, and March 31, 2023, the agency created after 9/11 to safeguard the nation freed at least 2,148,738 illegal aliens into the United States, government figures obtained by members of Congress reveal. Only 5,993 were actually deported, according to a distressing report released this week by the House Judiciary Committee.

Titled “The Biden Border Crisis: New Data and Testimony Show How the Biden Administration Opened the Southwest Border and Abandoned Interior Immigration Enforcement” the lengthy document includes new data obtained by federal lawmakers from DHS that expose the alarming state of immigration enforcement. Besides failing to remove millions of illegal immigrants released inside the country, the records show that a mere 6% of migrants were screened for fear of persecution when seeking asylum. “The Biden Administration has removed from the United States only 5,993 illegal aliens who were encountered at the southwest border and who were placed in removal proceedings before an immigration judge during that time,” the report states. “In other words, of the at least 2.1 million aliens released into the United States since January 20, 2021, the Biden Administration has failed to remove, through immigration court removal proceedings, roughly 99.7 percent of those illegal aliens,”

The U.S. Border Patrol recorded a ghastly 5 million illegal immigrant encounters during the period examined by federal lawmakers and an eye-popping 6.2 million since Biden took office. “More than two and a half years into President Biden’s term, his Administration’s border crisis continues unabated,” the report states. “Publicly available information shows that encounters of illegal aliens on the southwest border surpassed 100,000 for the 31st straight month and total southwest border illegal alien encounters exceeded 2.2 million in the first 11 months of fiscal year 2023.” The bad news continues. “In August 2023, encounters of illegal aliens at the southwest border skyrocketed to 232,972 and the unreleased encounter numbers for September 2023 will reportedly shatter previous records, exceeding 260,000 encounters in a single month,” the congressional report says. As if those figures were not bad enough, more than 1.7 million known “gotaways” have evaded Border Patrol and escaped into the U.S. since January 2021, the stats show, with “untold numbers of unknown gotaways avoiding detection during that period.”

As the illegal alien numbers keep rising and records get crushed, the Biden administration insists the border is under control with DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas laughably proclaiming his agency has made it very clear the border is not open, that crossing irregularly is against the law and those who are not eligible for relief will be quickly returned. That clearly has not materialized, figures provided in the House Judiciary Committee report show. In fiscal year 2021, the Biden administration released 310,379 illegal aliens at the southwest border. The number more than doubled during the administration’s first full fiscal year (2022) to 777,283. In the first 10 months of fiscal year 2023, Biden’s DHS released 929,496 illegal aliens encountered at the Mexican border. It is important to note that as outrageous as the figures are, they do not even include Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC), which immediately get transferred to the custody of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The report reveals that between fiscal year 2021 through the end of July 2023 at least 341,802 UAC were transferred to HHS shelters where American taxpayers spend a fortune to house, medically treat, educate, counsel and entertain them.

Mahatma Gandhi is quoted in his book, Gandhi: The Power of Pacifism, by Catherine Clement, as follows:

While Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Parsees, Jews, along with several million adherents of an animistic religion, all coexisted in relative harmony, one religion that would not accept compromise stood out from the rest: Islam.

Gandhi died in January 1948 and was referring to his experience during his lifetime in the Indian sub-continent. But the growth of Wahhabism and the current resurgence in Islamic triumphalism since Gandhi’s death now poses an increasingly existential threat to the West, to Judeo-Christian civilization, as well as to Hindus, Buddhists, and members other faiths – or no faiths.

The question repeatedly posed by the talking heads on the TV networks and cable television is how and why so many Muslims, young and old, are living in the West and enjoying all the material and educational benefits bestowed upon them and committing hideous acts of terror and perpetrating atrocities upon innocent civilians, even against their very own neighbors.

The Times Square bombing attempt on May 1, 2010, by Pakistan-born Faisal Shahzad and the 2009 Fort Hood massacre of unarmed members of the military by Major Nidal Hasan (still described by the problematic U.S. administration as “workplace violence”) are well-known. So too is the attempt at terrorism by a Somali immigrant, Mohamed Osman Mohamud, who had come to America at the age of five with his family as a refugee from the hell that is Somalia, and who attempted to kill thousands during a Christmas tree-lighting ceremony in Portland, Oregon. But until the Chechen Muslim brothers succeeded in their massacre at the Boston Marathon, most terror attacks had been thwarted since the 9/11 destruction of the Twin Towers and part of the Pentagon by the 19 Saudi Arabian hijackers, in which 3,000 people were murdered. This time, however, the Muslim miscreants succeeded and I fear there will be many more to come.

It was the baleful President Carter who undercut the shah of Iran who jailed and restricted the jihadists and Islamic groups and who was a supporter and ally of America. Just like President Obama, who equally undercut Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, the subsequent void was quickly and gleefully filled by Islamic fundamentalists and the Muslim Brotherhood who imposed sharia law and raised the banner of Islamic supremacy.

With the shah’s fall came the Ayatollah Khomeini from his exile in France, and almost immediately Carter’s foolish act resulted in a seemingly endless and most definitely humiliating imprisonment of American Embassy staff in Tehran. Since then, Iran has fed the flames of Islamic terror around the globe, arming, and funding terror organizations such as Hamas and Hezb’allah.

Ayatollah Khomeini preached violence to ultimately conquer “the land of the infidel.” By that he meant Israel, Christian European states, Britain, the United States, and the entire non-Muslim world. His followers throughout the Muslim and Arab world have all endorsed the legitimacy of jihad against what they falsely call the “enemies of Islam.” Islamic martyrdom operations — specifically blowing up soft targets like the spectators at sporting events — are guarantees to paradise even if the victims are children.

So, the answer to those talking heads in the media who endlessly ask why so many Muslims commit such atrocities can be seen both in Koranic passages and in, for instance, the sickening hate indoctrination found in the terrorist-controlled Palestinian TV and radio broadcasts.

Here are some of the grisly passages from the Koran:

“Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them.” Koran 2:191

“Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood.” Koran 9:123

“When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them.” Koran 9:5

“Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable.” Koran 3:85

“The Jews and the Christians are perverts; fight them.”… Koran 9:30

“Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam” Koran 5:33

“Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies.” Koran 22:19

“The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them.” Koran 8:65

“Muslims must not take the infidels as friends.” Koran 3:28

“Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Qur’an.” Koran 8:12

“Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels.” Koran 8:60

And here are some examples of the Palestinian broadcasts that sow hate among children as young as three years of age, spawning yet another generation of terrorists and destroying hope of any true and lasting peace for the embattled State of Israel.

For example, the children’s show, The Best Home, included a scene in which a young girl recited a poem filled with messages of hate and other libels demonizing Jews. The poem made the vile and evil assertion that Jews, “Allah’s enemies, the sons of pigs,” defiled the Quran and Jerusalem, “murdered children,” “cut off their limbs,” and “raped the women in the city squares.”

This message of vitriol — aimed at the future generation of Palestinians — not only serves to foster hatred and violence but undermines the very essence of coexistence and peace. It poisons the minds of innocent young children instead of promoting respect for one another, which is a cornerstone for true peace.

In our politically correct world, members of the media and commentators often seek to distance Islam from so many acts of horrific violence, using terms of alleged distinction such as “radical Islam” or “moderate Islam” and so on. But let us reflect on the words of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the close friend of Iran’s current genocidal president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

In reply to the term “moderate Islam,” which was apparently quoted to him by a Western journalist, Erdoğan said: “These descriptions are very ugly; it is offensive and an insult to our religion. There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam, and that’s it.”

Certainly, attempting to constantly give, as liberals do, a free pass to Islamic abuses; to play down its violent ambitions of world conquest; to ignore the evident threat to Judeo-Christian civilization from sharia law and imposed dhimmitude merely encourages the violent tendencies of the followers of Islam – or what Winston Churchill in his book, the River War, called ‘‘an ideology wrapped in a religion.’’

The two Chechen brothers thus almost certainly succumbed to the hatred towards non-Muslims which proliferate in Islamic texts, on Islamic websites, and in Islamic social media. And they are not alone.

The Hamas Massacre is a Wake-Up Call for America to Fortify Itself Against Evil

“Such is the nature of Evil. Out there in the vast ignorance of the world it festers and spreads. A Shadow that grows in the dark. A sleepless malice as black as the oncoming wall of night. So it ever was, so it always will be.”

These words from the movie adaptation of The Hobbit were quoted by my colleague Dr. David Wurmser, who is presently in Israel reporting as he can between rocket attacks and shelter-in-place orders.

Only Tolkien’s stories of the changeless sweeping malevolence of evil across the ages seem appropriate to encapsulate the tremendous paradigm shift represented by the horrific massacre perpetrated by Hamas over the weekend.

The losses suffered, perhaps as many as 1,000 dead and many thousands more wounded, are of such a horrific scale in light of Israel’s small population that regardless of how the fight proceeds now, Israeli society is likely to be changed forever. The attack, in which as many as 1,000 Hamas jihadists crossed the Gaza border under the cover of a massive rocket barrage and drone attacks, seized control of towns in Southern Israel and went from door to door to rape, torture, and murder every Jew they could find, all on video, instantly evoked horrors known to most of us only from black and white newsreels in previous centuries.

As the perpetrators have openly admitted, the massacre was planned and prepared with the help of Iran, whose other terrorist proxies, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Shiite militias in Syria and Iraq, and Houthi terrorists in Yemen, remain at the ready to expand the fight on Tehran’s orders.

A New Age, A Timeless Evil

The likely purpose of the attack from Iran’s perspective was to undermine peace efforts between Israel and Arab states, most especially Saudi Arabia.

Not coincidentally, this has also been a major effort of the Biden Administration, which has sought to undermine the historic Abraham Accords achieved under President Trump by injecting the Palestinian issue into the center of the Arab-Israel conflict, even while pretending to seek an agreement.

The Biden Administration has released $6 billion dollars to Iran, currently stored at a bank in Hamas-friendly Qatar. It has provided funds to Gaza which they admitted would result in arming Hamas, and pillaged stockpiles of U.S. arms stored in Israel as part of a long-standing agreement, and sent them to Ukraine.

Like the conniving Wormtongue in Lord of the Rings, the Biden administration, as the Obama administration before it, has at every turn counseled Israel to maximize restraint and complacency in the face of a growing peril, all while professing friendship.

Here at home, the Democratic Socialists of America, a group that consists of numerous Democrat politicians at the local, state, and federal level, hosted the largest Pro-Hamas rally thus far, in New York City replete with open calls in support of terrorist violence. Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), a group with close ties to Hamas, has called for a National Day of Resistance and a “Unity Intifada” in solidarity with the Hamas attack for Thursday, Oct. 12.

In the face of this reality, GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley saying the attack represents “an attack on America,” or Qatar-friendly Sen. Lindsay Graham issuing threats against Iran is mere fecklessness and bravado. The truth is that as it is currently constituted, the U.S. government, especially the State Department and intelligence agencies, are unlikely to do anything but deliberately hamper Israel’s attempts to defend itself and seek ways to further bolster Iran and its proxies behind the scenes.

Americans should demand the American government keep out of meddling with Israel’s response and allow it to defend its citizens as it sees fit. Certainly, the U.S. should honor existing agreements and obligations (refilling drained stockpiles for instance) but over-the-top or performative action will likely only amount to interference.

The Invasion on Our Own Border

Meanwhile, we should tend urgently to our own border and security. Israel’s border with Gaza was one of the most heavily surveilled and monitored borders in the world. As events have shown, surveillance is not enough. U.S. border doves for years promised that a border can be protected by a mere “virtual fence” of cameras and sensors. The reality is that only real physical barriers, like walls, watched over by sufficient numbers of properly armed and trained men constitute a secure border. Anything else is theater.

On the other side of that border are barbaric criminal cartels and narco-insurgents every bit as murderous as Hamas and Hezbollah. In fact, Hezbollah has extensive ties with various drug cartels, which it has used to try and conduct attacks inside the United States. Hundreds of individuals already named on the terrorist watchlist have crossed into the country.

Israeli awareness of the situation in Gaza now being criticized as insufficient, is undoubtedly far superior to our own understanding of the threats on the other side of our own border.

The Biden administration continues to facilitate an invasion, consisting of as much as an entire infantry division a day, mostly of military aged males across the Southern border. They come from all over the world, including places rife with jihadist terrorists, and increasingly from hostile adversaries like China. Some, likely working with the cartels, cross the border wearing camouflage and carrying firearms.

We can no more count on the Biden Administration to defend our border than to assist Israel. That means states and local communities must take their fates into their own hands.

In the wake of the attack from Gaza, Israel immediately loosened its otherwise quite strict gun laws to increase the number of prepared citizens able to defend themselves from terrorists. The reality is that no government force can respond quickly enough against such overwhelming violence to prevent tragedy. Americans should strongly oppose any efforts to restrain our own Second Amendment and take advantage of the ability to possess and train with firearms for their own defense whenever and wherever possible.

Bolster Law Enforcement

Local communities in Israel were quickly overwhelmed by the coordinated terrorist attack, and local police were not equal to the onslaught. It has been reported that over 30 Israeli police were trapped in a police station that came under siege by Hamas gunmen. Many fought bravely and lost their lives.

In America, both urban and rural areas are struggling to recruit, train, and outfit sufficient law enforcement officers following the left’s assault upon policing in 2020. Many local agencies are hundreds of officers below their required needs. Cities continue to attempt to replace armed law enforcement with mere social workers.

Americans everywhere should endeavor to support and bolster the morale of their local law enforcement, most especially their elected Sheriff. Encourage your community to provide the necessary funding to train, recruit, and equip the best possible local law enforcement, without relying upon fickle and restrictive federal grants. Law enforcement leaders should consider ways to augment smaller or struggling police forces with citizen auxiliaries, properly vetted and trained. States should look at ways to bolster their National Guard and State Defense Forces and prepare them for the kinds of violence we know are possible.

Things will get worse before they get better. The attack on Israel is an unmistakable sign that we have entered a dangerous and trying time. The forces of evil fester and spread, not just in the Middle East, but here at home.

First and foremost we should, as Tolkien wrote, set ourselves to “uprooting evil in the fields that we know” and encourage our friends abroad to do the same.

Death Toll Of U.S. Citizens Killed In Israel Climbs To 9

Nine American citizens lost their lives since the terrorist organization Hamas began its attack on Israel Saturday, a State Department spokesperson confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation on Monday.

The conflict began after dozens of terrorists from Hamas, located in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, invaded Israel Saturday morning and began mass executing and kidnapping civilians and soldiers, prompting Israel to declare war. A department spokesperson told the DCNF that it could confirm the American death toll in the conflict had risen to a total of nine and that the department expressed its condolences to the families.

“We extend our deepest condolences to the victims and to the families of all those affected,” the spokesperson said. “We continue to monitor the situation closely and remain in touch with our Israeli partners and the local authorities. We are in touch with the families and providing all appropriate consular assistance.”

Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced Sunday that multiple Americans had possibly been taken hostage or killed after Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer stated that Americans are among the hostages taken by Hamas. The spokesperson told the DCNF that the department is still working to confirm the number of Americans that have been taken hostage over the last two days, and that they were working in coordination with the Israeli government as it took back control of areas in Gaza and the West Bank.

Hamas began its attack around 6:30 a.m. and infiltrated the country using paragliders to bring terrorists inside the Israeli border along with launching over thousands of rockets over the weekend, Reuters reported, constituting the most serious attack on the Jewish state since the 1970s. The Israel Defense Forces said late Sunday that over 700 Israelis had been killed with over 2,100 injured, according to a post on Twitter.

Mohammad Deif, military chief of Hamas, called the attack “Al-Aqsa Storm” and encouraged Palestinians to get their guns, saying, “This is the time to use it — get out with trucks, cars, axes, today the best and most honorable history starts.” Prime Israel’s Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the country was “at war” following the assault and said Monday during a meeting with other Israeli leaders that Hamas will be defeated “forcefully.”

“We are in the midst of a campaign. I know that you have undergone a difficult and terrible ordeal,” Netanyahu said. “What Hamas will experience will be difficult and terrible.”

Israel’s Existential Threat is America’s Existential Threat as Well

Make no mistake about it, this horrendous attack on Israel has been orchestrated, planned, paid for and supplied by Iran.

Israel is only the “Little Satan” America is the “Big Satan.”

This is Israel’s 911.

There is every reason to believe a more disastrous 911 is planned for America. The stage for this calamity was set by the Obama/Biden administration years ago and was added to by this White House.

America has been appeasing Iran for many years, has stopped enforcing sanctions and most recently paid 6 Billion dollars to Iran, released Iranian criminals and has continued to negotiate with Iran which spits in America’s eye whenever it wants. This is reminiscent of what occurred in 1939 when the allies decided to appease Hitler.

It appears we are waiting for Iran to perfect nuclear weapons before we try to deal with them. This is what happened in 1939 when Hitler overran Europe and started World War II.

Will we ever learn?

Israel’s failure is one of complacency, America is even more complacent.

There is little doubt that many potential terrorists have entered the U.S. through its open Southern border.

Yes, our Southern border is virtually open to American terrorists. Iran must be stopped now or America will suffer disastrous consequences.

War Returns to the Middle East

Hamas’s surprise attack is a reminder of Israel’s existential peril—and the growing risk to U.S. allies.

he scenes of Israeli civilians gunned down in the streets, children and grandmothers taken hostage, and Palestinians cheering it all are awful to behold. Israel is on the front lines, but all of the democratic world is a target.

One myth busted is that Palestinians will live in peace with Israel if they get a state of their own. Not as long as Hamas and Islamic Jihad can terrorize and dominate Palestinians. Israel ceded Gaza to the Palestinians in 2005, but Hamas took over in 2007 and assassinates anyone in the territory who challenges its goal of expelling the Jews from all of Israel.

And please no more condemnation of Israel’s “blockade” or “occupation.” Israel has been allowing 17,000 Gazans to work in Israel each day and would like to allow more. No Israeli government can afford to give up control of more territory that could become a launching point for Hamas attacks.

The temptation at the White House will be to give Israel a week or so to respond with a free hand, and then lean on the Netanyahu government to stand down. That is always the U.S. pattern, but it shouldn’t be this time.

The attacks on Israel, horrible as they are, at least provide some moral clarity about the stakes in the Middle East. One side seeks the destruction of Israel and the Jews. The other arms itself to protect its citizens and state from that destruction.

House of Horrors: 11 Illegal Aliens Among Men Accused of Gang Raping Girls in Small Minnesota Town

At least 11 illegal alien men are accused of having been involved in a house of horrors in the small town of Bemidji, Minnesota, where at least three young girls were drugged, tied up, and gang raped, according to local law enforcement.

Late last month, an 11-year-old girl presented herself at the Sanford Bemidji Medical Center’s Emergency Department to report that she had been sexually assaulted. The case was then turned over to the Bemidji Police Department where officers began looking for the residence where the alleged sexual assault occurred.

Police soon identified a residence at 1821 America Court NW in Bemidji as the location of the alleged sexual assault. The victim said she was staying with an adult male relative when he put her in a car with other men and she had a bag put over her head.

The men allegedly brought the victim to the residence at 1821 America Court NW, pushed her down a flight of stairs, forced her to consume alcohol, and tied her up. The victim alleges a man nicknamed “Panda,” later identified as 22-year-old Oscar Ernesto Luna of Mission, Texas, raped her while four men watched.

The victim said she was then gang raped by an unknown number of men.

Police said the victim described a house of horrors where another young girl was tied up and unconscious in a closet of the bedroom and that a 16-year-old girl was also tied up. Two other girls were also tied up, the victim said, as she was gang raped.

Children are tagged with wristbands to indicate that they are clear to enter the United States. If money is owed, the cartel will get the address where the child is going or of their family back home to extort them should the money not be paid.

The following statement was issued by Dan Stein, president of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), regarding the failure of the House of Representatives to include meaningful border enforcement language in the Continuing Resolution:

Washington, D.C., “During this spending battle, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives squandered a chance to address one of the nation’s most pressing crises—our dangerously out-of-control borders. The Continuing Resolution (CR), which was offered on the floor Friday, included many of the spending cuts conservative Republicans were demanding and it included strong policy changes that would have reversed the Biden administration’s open-borders policies. Yet, nearly two dozen House Republicans voted against it.

“After that failure, Speaker McCarthy today put a clean CR on the floor that offers no spending cuts and no immigration enforcement provisions, but succeeded in passing it with the support of Democrats. In doing so, the Republicans who blocked Friday’s CR proposal allowed the perfect to become the enemy of the good. The good, in this case, would have been passage of meaningful border enforcement measures and a step toward the overall budget cuts they championed.

“The Senate, eager to capitalize on this failure, quickly moved to pass the clean CR offered by the House. The result is that, even in the face of new record numbers of encounters at the border, for the next 45 days nothing will change and the crisis at the border will rage on.

“The CR passed today allows President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas to continue their open-borders agenda, and actually provides them the opportunity to abuse our immigration laws to help facilitate the entry of illegal aliens. The status quo is not acceptable, and only policy changes will avert the crisis that the American people and communities across the country see today.

“Congress’ failure to act in the face of this raging border crisis and humanitarian disaster is unconscionable. Between now and November 17, when the CR runs out, House leaders must make it clear that any spending agreements for FY 2024 must include H.R. 2, the Secure the Border Act.

“What took place over the last few days was a missed opportunity to address a full-fledged crisis. The nation cannot afford to wait. Congress has failed us once. It must use the next 45 days to act.”

Two days ago, GOP senators delivered a fiery rebuke to the Biden administration’s handling of border security amidst high stakes spending negotiations. In a charged press conference, Senators Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham, Marsha Blackburn, John Kennedy, Thom Tillis, Katie Britt, and John Cornyn didn’t just express their displeasure; they painted a vivid picture of their frustrations.

Cruz deemed the border situation an “unmitigated disaster”, accusing Democrats of attempting a cover-up. They spotlighted the plight of stranded migrant children, the escalating menace of drug smuggling and human trafficking, and the strain on cities like New York who’s facing down bankruptcy.

While the Senate’s current Continuing Resolution (CR) neglects additional border security funding, the House is fervently pushing for the “Secure the Border Act” which finally puts stronger restrictions on our loose asylum seeker laws. This showdown promises to be a political spectacle, with the fate of border security hanging in the balance.

Biden’s response to the border crisis focuses on streamlining the flow of traffic at the open border, with measures such as CBP One, increased tent facilities, and expanded work permits.

The Biden administrations and DHS has recently reclassified Venezuela for Temporary Protected Status (TPS), providing work permits and a shield from deportation to 472,000 that entered prior to July 31st. The cost of this one TPS grant cost Americans 56,640,000,000!

Uncoincidentally, the southern border is experiencing a surge of predominantly Venezuelan single adults with 4,000 entering this week alone, knowing that Biden has authorized the entry of 30,000 Venezuelans, Cubans, Haitians, and Nicaraguans every month under a ‘humanitarian parole program’ and would likely extend the TPS Status to parole’s entering after the current cut-off. America is choking on special programs that are allowing the Biden Administration to circumvent our laws and these special grants should be challenged in the courts!

Is the Biden administration’s aggressive push for ‘Temporary Protected Status’ indicative of a calculated strategy to promote socialist ideologies among illegal migrants from Mexico, Central America, and Venezuela, potentially altering the political and cultural landscape of the United States?

Venezuelans, having endured the disastrous consequences of their socialist economic policies in their homeland, are now flooding the United States, enticed by the promise of taxpayer-funded welfare programs. Rather than staying and fighting to rebuild their economy and demand political reform in Venezuela, some argue that this migration pattern raises concerns about an anti-capitalist, dependency mentality. This situation fuels a debate about the balance between humanitarian assistance and fostering self-reliance and change in their home country.

Beyond the immediate fiscal strain on American taxpayers, a deeper concern lies in the potential cultural and political impact of welcoming tens of millions of individuals with socialist and communist ideologies. These immigrants predictably and overwhelmingly will vote for the Democratic Party, further altering the nation’s political landscape, if granted citizenship. Many illegal aliens are living in battleground cities and states where elections are already determined by a razor’s edge. The sudden injection of such a substantial voting bloc will result in a seismic shift in political dynamics, affecting the local, state, and federal elections. This raises questions about the balance between compassion for refugees and the potential transformation of American culture and politics.

The outcomes of Biden’s immigration policies reveal a deeper intention within the Democratic Party. Their policies are intentionally encouraging a global surge in illegal immigration while coaching migrants on claiming amnesty and fear-based asylum to secure temporary entry into the United States.

The Left’s ‘Get Out the Vote’ strategy includes defending lax voter registration, lax voter roll maintenance, and eliminating Voter ID at the polls while identifying individuals with non-citizen driver’s licenses, registering them for vote-by-mail, and closely tracking these ballots for collection and delivery to voter drop boxes.

As Democrat policies create fractures among Democrat voters and contribute to the deterioration of cities, the economy, and law and order, the urgency to expedite the influx of migrants from socialist countries is viewed by some as critical for the Democratic Party’s survival and its prospects in future elections.

Clearly, the Democrat party has abandoned the American people and the American dream. They have decided to Move On (.org) and create a new America for the sole purpose of securing voters to secure their power, as their base begins to reject their destructive, self-enriching, and self-serving interests on the backs of taxpayers.

EAGLE PASS, Texas — Illegal migrants fist bumped and thanked Border Patrol agents for cutting through barbed wire that had been erected by Texas authorities to secure the border, the Daily Caller News Foundation observed Thursday in Eagle Pass, Texas.

Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott recently instructed Texas authorities to place more wire along the Rio Grande River to address the influx of illegal crossings. Border Patrol agents cut through the wire to take into custody a group of migrants that had crossed the Rio Grande and arrived at the U.S. side of the river.

The migrants who crossed illegally Thursday thanked Border Patrol and the U.S. after they were let in.

The area has been overwhelmed by the surge in migrants crossing illegally, leading the mayor of Eagle Pass to declare a state of emergency.

”I want to be crystal clear – what’s happening is not the fault of the men and women of the U.S. Border Patrol. They have been thrust into an untenable no-win chaotic situation. Place blame for the lawlessness at our borders where it belongs – the Biden Administration,” former acting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Commissioner Mark Morgan told the DCNF regarding the exchange.

“If you want to stop the invasion of people, drugs, criminals, and national security threats pouring across our borders, President Biden could do so tomorrow with a stroke of a pen! We must not fall into their trap to allow the scapegoating of the Border Patrol,” Morgan added.

“It is a federal responsibility to enforce U.S. immigration laws. U.S. Border Patrol continues to enforce U.S. immigration laws. Migrants who cross the Rio Grande from Mexico to Texas are on U.S. soil and subject to U.S. immigration laws,” CBP told the DCNF. “Those who cross unlawfully are subject to the lawful pathways rule, which places common-sense conditions on asylum eligibility, with certain exceptions. Migrants who do not establish a legal basis to remain in the United States will be removed.”

The number of illegal migrants in Border Patrol custody nationwide surpassed 22,000 on Tuesday evening, according to internal Customs and Border Protection (CBP) data obtained exclusively by the DCNF. As of Tuesday, the Del Río Border Patrol sector, which encompasses Eagle Pass, was 280% over capacity.

Border Patrol has recorded more than 1.8 million illegal crossings at the southern border between October 2022 and August, according to federal data. In fiscal year 2022, the number of illegal crossings hit a record 2.2 million. In August, Border Patrol saw more than 181,000 illegal crossings in the region.

Suella Braverman has never wavered in telling the truth, even under severe criticism. See HERE and HERE. However, her party and country are run by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who — like his predecessor Boris Johnson — has demonstrated no will to tackle the flood of illegal migrants that have invaded Britain, and continue to do so daily via the English Channel. Nonetheless, Braverman still advances a strong anti-globalist message, which seems to be out of sync with her party’s actions. For some reason, however, Braverman is still tolerated within her party, perhaps to calm the party’s conservative base. It remains a deep mystery why the Sunak government refuses to act in the best interests of Britain, and in accordance with conservative values.

Braverman’s speech was undoubtedly praiseworthy, particularly when she notes that “multiculturalism makes no demands of the incomer to integrate. It has failed because it allowed people to come to our society and live parallel lives in it. They could be in the society but not of the society.”

Most important, however, is the question of what her party intends to do about this, if anything. In Italy, right wing/conservative Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni bemoans suicidal immigration policies and hails the importance of protecting Italy’s culture, yet she has done nothing to stop the migrant influx.

Suella Braverman has declared that multiculturalism has “failed” in Europe and threatens social cohesion in the nation state.

The Home Secretary, giving a speech on migration in the United States, said a “misguided dogma of multiculturalism” has allowed people to come to the UK with the aim of “undermining the stability and threatening the security of society”.

Setting out the “civic argument” against illegal migration, Ms Braverman said: “Uncontrolled immigration, inadequate integration and a misguided dogma of multiculturalism have proven a toxic combination for Europe over the last few decades.

“Multiculturalism makes no demands of the incomer to integrate. It has failed because it allowed people to come to our society and live parallel lives in it. They could be in the society but not of the society.

“And, in extreme cases, they could pursue lives aimed at undermining the stability and threatening the security of society.”

She said “the consequence of that failure” are evident “on the streets of cities all over Europe,” pointing to clashes in Leicester as an example….

Biden Admin Set To Deport German Family Who Sought Asylum After Being Persecuted For Homeschooling

U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) told a German Christian family that was persecuted for homeschooling their children that they needed to prepare to be deported after living in the U.S. for 15 years, according to Kevin Boden, an attorney for the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA), who spoke with the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Uwe and Hannelore Romeike fled with their family from Germany in 2008 after getting thousands of dollars in fines for refusing to stop homeschooling, which was outlawed in 1918, and sought asylum in the U.S. before being granted “indefinite deferred action status” in 2014, allowing them to remain indefinitely in the country, according to an HSLDA press release. During a routine check-in with the agency in early September, the New Jersey parents were informed that they needed to have their passports ready in four weeks to be deported to Germany.

“They did not tell them why,” Boden told the DCNF. “They were just told there was a change in orders. We don’t know where the orders come down from, they may have come to the local office from the field office director or the deputy Field Office Director, which probably came from ICE headquarters. Whether it came from the Biden administration or somebody more at the executive level, we don’t know, just the change in orders, get travel documents and get ready to go is effectively what they’re told.”

The parents were also reportedly given no written document explaining the situation or the next steps, nor were they given instructions regarding what would happen to their two minor children, who are 12 and 10 years old and were born in the U.S., according to Boden. He said that the Romeike’s five adult children’s status is also of concern; some are married to U.S. citizens and others are not.

“We just don’t know at this point, which is part of the scary nature of it,” Boden told the DCNF. “You can imagine showing up in two weeks and not knowing ‘Will they take me or my wife into custody and then what happens to our two minor children who are literally US citizens?’ So the uncertainty of this is just remarkable.”

The Romeike’s faced similar issues a decade ago when the Obama administration threatened to deport them in 2012 after they were initially granted asylum by an immigration judge two years earlier, according to HSLDA. The judge’s decision was overturned and the family appealed but the Supreme Court declined to review the case.

A petition was sent to the White House with over 120,000 signatures demanding that the executive branch take action to protect the Romeike family, according to the Christian Post. In 2014, the Department of Homeland Security granted the family “indefinite deferred action status” in March.

Boden told the DCNF that HSLDA is looking into its legal options and that they are circulating another petition in hopes of raising public support and “spreading awareness.” He said that the Romeike’s have been “a delightful family” as he’s worked on their case and that anyone “who meets this family would appreciate and enjoy who they are and would have a desire that they be allowed to stay.”

The UN Elite want the dollar gone. Very little is seen on the MSM, but for those of us who still can think, we know the economy is tanking as the BRICS Bank will now compete against the dollar. Socialist Brazil, Communist Russia, Socialist India, Communist China, and Socialist South Africa have determined the best way to destroy America by working together and trading for oil in a new currency. In the last few months, these countries bought Billions of gold in preparation to destroy the dollar. We can never allow digital currency (CBDC). That is the last nail and will result in total control.

Economic collapse is coming to every town and city in America. Prices will skyrocket, ATMs will close, there will be no food or fuel, and the loss of the dollar will destroy every American. Sadly, that is their goal.

The Republicans are following the path laid out to them by the Democrats using Cloward and Piven. They must have missed that class. They intend to give our money to corrupt Ukraine to donate back to the Dems and then blame the middle class. They intend to attack Social Security, which IS NOT AN ENTITLEMENT. It is a benefit. We pay into SS, and if they would stop robbing it blind, there would be plenty of money. They intend to destroy the lifeless middle class.

This week, I have talked to seniors who are scared and upset as their programs (you know, the ones they pay into) are being cut so illegals can get welfare, food stamps, and Medicaid. I met a woman who can barely make it since she has cancer and can not work. She was told her only income SS is $6, which is too high for food stamps. But the illegals get $750 food stamps + housing + medical.

Look at the statistics. The last time amnesty was presented, 40% became citizens. The rest raped Americans as they sent their untaxed dollars back to their home country. Does anyone think that someone getting $ 3,000 a month doing nothing will now want to become a citizen so they can pay a fine and taxes? What drugs are they on?

Staten Island Protesters Arrested After Blocking Bus Carrying Illegal Immigrants

‘The residents are trying to send a message to the migrants that they are not welcome here.’

Police made 10 arrests after fed-up Staten Island residents took to the street Tuesday night and physically blocked the arrival of a bus carrying dozens of illegal immigrants to a residential school that had recently been converted into a shelter.

“The police are arresting law-abiding American citizens to protect law-breaking non-citizens,” Mark Fonte, a lawyer who has filed a lawsuit on behalf of residents of Staten Island trying to stop the city from relocating illegal immigrants to the borough, told The Epoch Times. “The mayor is using his emergency powers to place these unvetted immigrants in residential communities against the will of the people, and the people are angry.”

“The residents are trying to send a message to the migrants that they are not welcome here,” added Mr. Fonte.

“The residents are frustrated that they are being totally ignored. There is no community input in the decision-making, or consultation with community leaders,” said Mr. Fonte. “It’s my way or the highway with the Mayor.”

Former President Trump announced his plans to carry out “the largest domestic deportation operation in American history” if he is elected to a second term in the White House.

Trump, who leads the 2024 Republican primary field by a massive margin, delivered a speech in Dubuque, Iowa Wednesday evening, blasting President Biden for the “nation-wrecking catastrophe on our southern border.”

“Under my leadership, we had the most secure border in U.S. history. Now, we have the worst border in the history of the world,” Trump said Wednesday— the same day that more than 4,000 predominantly Venezuelan adult illegal migrants crossed the border into Texas.

Trump, in Iowa, said that if elected, his second term would begin by “immediately” terminating “every Open Borders policy of the Biden Administration.”

“Following the Eisenhower Model, we will carry out the largest domestic deportation operation in American history,” Trump said.

The former president said he plans to also “invoke the Alien Enemies Act to remove all known or suspected Gang Members, drug dealers, or Cartel Members from the United States”—an effort he says will end the “scourge of illegal alien gang violence once and for all.”

Trump also said he plans to “shift massive portions of federal law enforcement to immigration enforcement,” including parts of the FBI, Department of Homeland Security, Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

“I will make clear that we must use any and all resources needed to stop the invasion—including moving thousands of troops currently stationed overseas to our OWN southern border,” Trump said, stressing that “before we defend the borders of foreign countries, we must secure the border of our country.”

Poland to Run Ad Campaign to Counteract Migrant-Friendly Propaganda Film

Poland is running an ad campaign to counter the propaganda being churned out by the refugee drama “Green Border,” which “shows a family from Syria and a woman from Afghanistan thrown back and forward across the border by brutal guards indifferent to their suffering, as activists struggle to try to bring them to safety.” Poland’s view is that the propaganda film “dishonours those who are protecting their country.”

How about a film that shows Saudi Arabia firing guns and explosive weapons, killing hundreds of Ethiopian genuine refugees at the Yemen border last month? Turkey has done the same. In 2016, Turkish authorities were also shooting at asylum seekers to keep them out. In 2018, Turkey was again shooting at refugees to keep them out. And in 2021, Turkey fortified over 600 miles of its land border with walls to keep out Afghans.

Poland and Hungary have stood apart in legally protecting their countries’ sovereignty, borders, and national security, even through years of EU bullying.

Days ago, Poland warned the EU that it must close its borders in the face of a “migrant surge,” pointing out the crisis on the Italian island of Lampedusa that saw between 5-6 thousand African migrants arrive on 100 boats.

WARSAW Reuters, September 21, 2023:

Poland’s government plans to run adverts ahead of some screenings of the prize-winning refugee drama “Green Border” to defend its treatment of migrants crossing the frontier from Belarus, a minister said on Thursday.

Directed by veteran Polish filmmaker Agnieszka Holland, the film has drawn a furious response from conservatives in Poland ahead of its release in Polish cinemas on Friday.

The black-and-white film shows a family from Syria and a woman from Afghanistan thrown back and forward across the border by brutal guards indifferent to their suffering, as activists struggle to try to bring them to safety.

Migration has emerged as a main campaign theme ahead of the closely-contested Oct. 15 elections, with the nationalist Law and Justice (PiS) saying only its government can ensure border security.

It says the film’s depiction of what happens to migrants crossing into Poland from the east dishonours those who are protecting their country.

Deputy interior minister Blazej Pobozy called the film “disgusting slander”.

“In arthouse cinemas throughout Poland, screenings will be preceded by a special ad about elements missing in the film”, he told reporters.

“Our ads shows the context of the hybrid (border) operation and the course of this operation and what solutions we have introduced to secure the safety of Polish women and men.”….

SOS! The American Southern border is dangerously and completely open, with thousands of illegal migrants from 160 countries invading our country.

Our National Security is at stake and our existence as a democracy is threatened. It started January 2021 by Biden’s team of the Democrat Party. We have already 6-7 million migrants on our soil, let alone fentanyl and raising crime. If the invasion is not stopped, we will have 20-30 million illegals in our country by the 2024 election and thousands of bad actor’s terrorists and spies. Some Republicans still don’t understand that the crisis on the border is crafted by design of the Biden/Putin collusion and failed Mexican State. There are no Mexican Cartels, those are the Russian Cartels of different criminal groups like MS-13 created by Stalin in 1950-1960s.

If you are old enough to remember Soviet Apparatchiks praising Soviet Socialism and lying without blinking, you will find the same in America today. Just find the Pentagon’s briefing on September 13, 2023 and watch John Kirby. He was asked Why Biden is lying so much? It was a very simple but direct question on the point. Mr. Kirby was confused a bit, but got over it and began defending Biden by lying even more. All members of Biden’s team are constantly lying about everything, crime as a product of poverty, inflation as not a threat and many other different issues. The Dems have no ideas to argue and the lies and fraud helps them to run the regime. It is not a coincidence that I accused Biden’s White House of implementing Soviet Socialism. Yes, they lie and they do that…

For many years, I have been writing and warning you about Soviet Socialism and its Socialist modus operandi: lies, deceit, fabrication, and fraud. I was living under Stalinist Soviet Socialism for fifty years; I know all its features-characteristics and I see all of them in America today. I am especially upset by political dissidents imprisoned in America like under Stalin’s Police State in Russia. Welcome to Soviet Socialism in America! It is like in the Soviet Union—Inside a Gigantic Network of Falsehood. I want you to hear, believe me, and know the truth. Maybe the words of Thomas Sowell convince you by his logic:

If crime is a product of poverty and discrimination as they say endlessly, why was there so much less of it when poverty and discrimination were much worse than today? If massive programs are the only hope to reduce violence in the ghetto, why was there so much less violence long before anyone ever thought of these programs?

Thomas Sowell is right: “At least as far back as the 18th century, the left has struggled to avoid facing the plain fact of evil — that some people simply choose to do things that they know to be wrong when they do them. Every kind of excuse, from poverty to an unhappy childhood, is used by the left to explain and excuse evil. Why has evil been such a hard concept for many on the left to accept? The basic agenda of the left is to change external conditions. But what if the problem is internal? What if the real problem is the cussedness of human beings?” I will continue his thoughts about evil, because I have been writing about evil for forty-two years.

Marxist Theory was quite a popular political philosophy in the 19th century, however, none of the industrial European countries has launched the Socialist Revolution. The irony of the time had been the Socialist Revolution of 1917 in Russia, an agricultural Euro-Asian country. I am raising the issue for a reason. Marxist Theory is a dead evil and talking about Marxism, you at least, should know it. Yet, I have been writing about very alive and critically deadly evil—Stalinism, the Soviet people called the system of Soviet Socialism, I called it Soviet Fascism. I’ve educated the American public about Stalinism for decades. Here is only one column among hundreds.

I have been writing about Russian and Chinese espionage for the last forty years to educate the American people with my deep concern over American national security in the 20th century. Turmoil in Russia puts the World at an additional high risk. The revolt of Wagner was an effective force with active Military and Intel Apparatus–the revolt was a part of the coup with 25.000 000 mercenaries. Putin maneuvered very fast and successfully; Wagner’s boss was exiled to Belarus. I don’t know why Evgeniy Prigozhin has surrendered. It can be a game of Russian disinformation as well…

The crack in Russia is not occidental, on the contrary, it is normal and regular. The country under several different names has been living in Soviet Socialism, which are lies, deceit, fabrication, and fraud. Soviet Socialism has very little to go with Marxism—Marxism is Theory. I have been studying Marxism at Law School for four years. Soviet Socialism has been invented by Comrade Stalin in contrast to Marxist Theory and its ideas. Here is the prove:

Creating the Theory of Socialism and Communism as a means of rooting out the exploitation of man by man, Marx and Engels purposely divided it into two phases: the first phase was Socialism and the second –- Communism. They identified in detail the tasks, agendas, and ways to achieve them in the “Theory”, as follows:

First – the tasks and agenda—overthrowing the capitalist economic system and establishing Socialism as a basis for the creation of a classless Communist society in the future.
Second – how to fulfill the tasks and agenda—through World Revolution.
Third – the World Revolution would occur under the leadership of the proletariat. “Proletariats of the world unite!” was their slogan.
Fourth – Marxist Theory can be applied only in industrially developed European

Pay attention to the fourth point:” Marxist Theory can be applied only in industrially developed European countries.” Russia was an agricultural country and has never been an industrially developed European country. The creation by Stalin of his system of Soviet Socialism was in direct opposition to Marxism. It was a typical Stalinist fraud as Socialism couldn’t exist without the government force. To create Soviet Socialism, Stalin used Marxist rhetoric to establish his own system that was completely intertwined with punitive agencies. The creation of the Soviet Mafia, Socialist modus operandi, and the KGB’s Mafia/Army had been a necessity for Stalin to help deceive and defraud the Soviet people. A devoted disciple of Stalin/Andropov, Vladimir Putin is still keeping the Soviet system of punitive agencies in Russia after the Soviet Socialism had collapsed. I’ve presented this column for a reason. A very respectful Republican, Mark R, Levin has written the book American Marxism, Threshold Editions, a division of Simon & Schuster, 2021. I haven’t read the book; the title stopped me. I categorically disagree with it and expressed my disagreement in several columns during forty-two years. American Marxism has confused 300 million Americans and diverted attention from the actual culprit–Stalinism. Marxism or Stalinism is a monumental question of the time, which required knowledge of both. The dilemma of a few Republicans is the exact absences of that knowledge. I see in America what I lived through in Russia: Language control to cover up the truth. I wrote many columns on Stalin’s Political Correctness. Read them and learn that Stalin is the author of Political Correctness known to you PC today. There are more: racism and Anti-Semitism, legalization of violence, destruction of traditions and customs, creation of centralized state in America by the Democrat Party.

I have been writing about the Democrat Party for forty-two years. I saw how the KGB’s Mafia/Army killed Truman’s Party and created America’s Socialist Party, which was following the Socialist modus operandi and aggressively confronted a political system of American Constitutional republic, designed and left to us by our Founding Fathers. The author is very eloquently introduced the Democrat Party. “Democrats no longer have the inner moral virtue necessary to do anything else. It’s a ‘they can, so they will’ situation. Once you know how to cheat and get away with it, it becomes nearly impossible to do anything else.

All communist or fascist countries operate in the same fashion. They resemble James Bond movies. Think Specter. A crime organization takes over a country and runs it as such—organized crime. They control the military, the wheels of government, business, and the people through taxes, control of healthcare, and the gun. Confederates in strategic locations are paid handsomely for their cooperation and are placed in a situation from which they are unable to escape lest they be hung with the rest as accessories to a crime—in many cases, treason.”

That is a logic and sense I’ve written The Democrat Party is No.1 Enemy of the American Republic June 18, 2020. Mark Levin also wrote another book: The Democrat Party Hates America in 2023, where he presented a detailed history of the Democrat Party—not an attractive picture. Federal Government Program Allows More Than 200,000 Illegal Aliens to Fly Right Over the Border

Not all illegal aliens are entering the U.S. along the southern or northern border, according to the Center for Immigration Studies.

Over the past year, “more than 200,000 people from four countries” used a direct-flight parole program to enter the United States illegally, says Todd Bensman, senior national security fellow at the Washington-based think tank devoted to researching immigration issues.

Those 221,456 illegal aliens are from Haiti, Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua, Bensman writes in a report published Thursday.

Through a Freedom of Information Act request, or FOIA, Bensman says, he learned of the federal government’s “CBP One” mobile application parole program, which “permits inadmissible aliens to make an appointment to fly directly to airports in the interior of the United States, bypassing the border altogether.”

The Biden administration introduced the CBP One mobile app to illegal aliens as a way to schedule an appointment at a port of entry and be paroled into the interior of the United States. (The acronym CBP refers to U.S. Customs and Border Protection, an agency within the Department of Homeland Security.)

President Joe Biden said the program was part of an effort to form “lawful pathways” for illegal aliens to enter the country and seek asylum. Illegal border crossings between ports of entry at the southern border appeared to decline in June as more illegal aliens presented themselves at a port of entry.

But, according to Bensman’s findings, migrants also are presenting themselves at ports within the interior of the country.

One of the “least noticed, mysterious, and potentially the most controversial of the new rechanneling programs that use the CBP One app allows migrants to take commercial passenger flights from foreign countries straight to their American cities of choice, flying right over the border—and even over Mexico,” Bensman writes in the Center for Immigration Studies report titled “New Records: Biden DHS Has Approved Hundreds of Thousands of Migrants for Secretive Foreign Flights Directly Into U.S. Airports.”

Through the CBP One app, “Cubans, Venezuelans, Nicaraguans, Haitians, and Colombians … [can] request ‘advance travel authorizations,’” Bensman writes, and then fly “directly into U.S. airports, where U.S. Customs officers parole them into the nation, sight unseen, and in numbers publicly unknown.”

The documents obtained by the Center for Immigration Studies, he adds, show that “between late October 2022 and mid-September 2023, the administration approved a total of 221,456 Venezuelans, Haitians, Cubans, and Nicaraguans for ‘travel mode: air’ into still-unspecified interior U.S. ports.”

The illegal aliens are required to pay for their own flight into the U.S.

Details of the Biden administration’s flight program for illegal aliens come as U.S. Customs and Border Protection encounters with illegal immigrants along the U.S. border with Mexico are nearing record highs and the administration is granting migrants from Venezuela “temporary protected status.”

The change protects hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans from deportation if they were in America unlawfully before July 31, and makes it easier for those illegal immigrants to gain U.S. work permits.

“Temporary protected status provides individuals already present in the United States with protection from removal when the conditions in their home country prevent their safe return,” Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said Wednesday in a written statement.

The Biden administration is “granting them the protection that the law provides,” Mayorkas said. “However, it is critical that Venezuelans understand that those who have arrived here after July 31, 2023, are not eligible for such protection, and instead will be removed when they are found to not have a legal basis to stay.”

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has reported encountering more than 460,000 illegal aliens from Venezuela on America’s borders since Biden’s presidency began on Jan. 20, 2021.
