Border Patrol agents in the Tucson sector of Arizona have suspended all training activities due to an overwhelming surge of illegal immigration along that area of the border, according to an internal agency email obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller News Foundation.
Agents received the message Monday while dealing with the surge of migrants in the area that has already led the agency to call in reinforcements from other parts of the sector, according to an internal memo the DCNF obtained Sunday. The latest message acknowledges that trainings are “integral” and necessary for “mental and physical readiness.”
“This surge poses immense challenges requiring an ‘all hands-on deck’ posture to staff vital positions with security, transportation, casework, and triage. To that end, all training to include Use of Force, Firearms Qualifications, and K9, is cancelled for the remainder of this week,” the email read.
Additionally, the agency closed the highway checkpoint for vehicle inspections, according to the memo.
“Border Patrol field leaders determine how to prioritize and best deploy personnel and resources under their command,” Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said in a statement to the DCNF.
Roughly 4,600 illegal migrants were in custody as of Sunday evening in all of the Tucson sector compared to nearly 20,000 nationwide, two Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials, who requested anonymity because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly, told the DCNF.
Tucson Border Patrol announced Sunday it was temporarily shutting down its social media due to the migrant surge.
“At this time, all available personnel are needed to address the unprecedented flow,” John Modlin, Chief Patrol Agent of the Tucson Sector, tweeted late Sunday. “The social media team will return once the situation permits.”
Agents have been pulled from the frontlines to largely process and transport migrants crossing illegally into the sector, one agent told the DCNF on the condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly. As a result, agency morale continues to tank.
“The last thread of morale we have is gone. If I didn’t have so many years of service, I’d bolt. I love my job when I’m able to do it tracking groups, being on the ATV unit, but this administration has killed that,” the agent said.
“It’s extremely frustrating. Our national security is non-existent,” a second agent told the DCNF.

Border Patrol called in reinforcements to help as agents grow increasingly overwhelmed by migrants in an area of southern Arizona, according to an internal Sunday message to agency officials obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller News Foundation.
Border Patrol agents from the Douglas, Arizona, station are being called up to help agents at the Tucson migrant processing center, which temporarily holds migrants who illegally cross the border. Border Patrol has roughly 4,600 illegal migrants in custody as of Sunday evening in all of the Tucson sector compared to nearly 20,000 nationwide, two Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials, who requested anonymity because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly, told the DCNF.
The agents in Douglas are being called up for “processing and transportation support,” according to the memo. The assignments will also entail sending specialized units, such as horse patrols, and manning sensors for illegal aliens running from law enforcement.
“Until further notice, all specialty units (Sensors, HPU, BCL) will report to the Douglas Station and attend musters on their scheduled shifts,” the memo reads. “HPU will maintain one agent to care for the horses, but all others will be deployed as needed by the Watch Commander.”
The situation in the Tucson sector has become so dire that the Tucson Border Patrol announced Sunday it was temporarily shutting down its social media.

Border Patrol has recorded record illegal immigration at the southern border in recent years. In fiscal year 2022, Border Patrol encounters topped 2.2 million, followed by more than 2 million in fiscal year 2023.
“This is embarrassing,” one of the DHS officials said, adding that the blame is on the Biden administration.
“Everybody is getting pulled off the line for processing,” the official added.
CBP didn’t immediately respond to the DCNF’s request for comment.

The White House released plans to convert massive commercial properties into affordable housing. Along with promoting energy efficiency and “zero emissions conversions” — classic technocrat dictates — the “much-needed housing” will provide more room to house the influx of illegal immigrants1 being driven into the U.S. by drug cartels.
In the October 2023 fact sheet, which touts the developments as “transit-oriented” and a method to “increase housing supply,” it’s stated:2
“[T]he Biden-Harris Administration is announcing new actions to support the conversion of high-vacancy commercial buildings to residential use, including through new financing, technical assistance, and sale of federal properties.
These announcements will create much-needed housing that is affordable, energy efficient, near transit and good jobs, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, nearly 30 percent of which comes from the building sector.”
Paving the Way for a Surveilled, Green ‘Utopia’
The White House announcement is peppered with Great Reset buzzwords, like “clean energy economy” and “zero emissions housing,” and echoes the agendas being pushed by globalists.
The Green New Deal (Green Agenda), “Build Back Better,” the Fourth Industrial Revolution3 (the transhumanist movement) and The Great Reset, officially introduced by World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab and then-Prince Charles in June 20204 — all exist to further and facilitate the implementation of Agenda 21.
Agenda 21 (Agenda for the 21st Century) is the inventory and control plan for all land, water, minerals, plants, animals, construction, means of production, food, energy, information, education and all human beings in the world. The European Green Deal is more of the same — introduced by the European Commission in December 20195 to, in part, replace fossil fuels with “cleaner” energy sources.
The White House cites data showing that office vacancies are at a 30-year high,6 straining local economies, while affordable housing is lacking and communities are looking for ways to cut emissions from buildings and transportation. Vacant commercial properties will be repurposed into affordable housing that will be close to transportation, “green,” and ideal for building the smart cities that take away your privacy and autonomy and allow for further surveillance and control.
The proposal aligns with the Great Reset agenda,7 which suggests shared goals, such as equality and sustainability, should be at the heart of government and private investments, and rather than funneling government recovery funds and economic-stimulus funding to “fill cracks in the old system,” these should be used to “create a new one that is more resilient, equitable, and sustainable in the long run.”
Schwab added, “This means, for example, building ‘green’ urban infrastructure and creating incentives for industries to improve their track record on environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics.”8
It all sounds well and good, except, as Technocracy News reported in June 2020, “the promised Utopia comes with a price — it sets shackles on our personal freedom …”9 This could certainly be the case for those living in these affordable, green, smart cities.
As investigative journalist Corey Lynn tweeted, “Here we go … Converting/rezoning commercial buildings to net zero multiuse residential to fill up those abandoned buildings in cities and build their dream smart cities (and likely make room for illegal immigrants), complete with a 54-page guidebook.”10
The required sacrifices do not apply to the technocrats running the system, however, so ultimately The Great Reset will result in two tiers or people: the technocratic elite, who have all the power and rule over all assets, and the rest of humanity, who have no power, no assets and no say-so in anything.
Why Zero Emissions Has a Dark Side
Zero emissions housing sounds like a good thing on the surface. But the notion can be traced back to decades’ old plans to implement a totalitarian future. In order to establish a new world order, there need to be problems that are global in scope. One of the problems, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, was the environment.
In 1972, a United Nations meeting about climate change was held to come up with a plan to manage the planet in a sustainable manner. This led to the creation of Agenda 21.11 In 2019, WEF entered into a strategic alliance with the United Nations, which called for the UN to “use public-private partnerships as the model for nearly all policies that it implements, most specifically the implementation of the 17 sustainable development goals, sometimes referred to as Agenda 2030.”12
Agenda 2030 is aimed at reducing middle-class’ consumption of basic goods and energy, which includes limiting, with an eye toward eliminating, property rights and private ownership for future generations, along with targeting such “luxuries” as ownership of electric appliances and motor vehicles along with suburban housing and air conditioning.13
It’s easy to see how turning high-vacancy commercial spaces into high-density housing fits right into this plan.
How Smart, Net Zero Mandates May Steal Your Autonomy
A practical example of how privacy may gradually disappear in these converted commercial spaces is the likely installation of smart devices in the residences. With each smart device that you welcome into your home — such as connected alarm clocks, vehicles, refrigerators and doorbells — another layer of your personal life is revealed.
This is certainly true of smart meters, which are officially known in the U.S. as advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) installations. In 2020, 102.9 million such smart meters were installed by U.S. electric utilities, about 88% of them in personal residences.14 AMI meters measure and record electricity usage at least every hour, if not more, and provide the data to the utility company and consumer at least once a day.
They’re also capable of distinguishing what type of energy you’re using. So, they know if you’re doing a load of laundry, watching TV or have left your home for the day. While this might not sound nefarious on the surface, it’s an intensely personal form of surveillance — one that could easily be used against you, including to ration your energy. Journalist Abby Martin explained:15
“If the notion about what you are doing and when you are doing isn’t disturbing enough – it’s worse. These devices are capable of regulating, controlling and even rationing your energy use. Take this example, you are running your fans in the hot summer months and the power company decides you are using too much power, they will take it upon themselves to lower it regardless of the consumer willing to pay for the extra usage.”
Technocrats such as BlackRock CEO Larry Fink and Bill Gates are among those pushing for “net zero” carbon emissions.16 The deadline Gates has given to reach net zero emissions is 2050,17 and smart meters are already being positioned as an essential part of this plan.18
Are They Making Room for the Cartel’s Migrant Mobs?
According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), some 1.7 million illegals flowed across the southern border into the U.S. in 2021, another 2.4 million in 2022 and nearly 1.8 million as of August 2023.19
Many of them have been sent by drug cartels, law enforcement sources told The New York Post, under the false impression that anyone waiting for an immigration appointment through the CBP One app can get asylum if they turn themselves in.20 According to The New York Post:21
“Drug cartels are besieging the border by deliberately sending thousands of migrants a day to hand themselves over to Border Patrol officers in different US border towns, sources revealed to The Post. The tactic is meant to tie up already overworked border agents so Mexico’s cartels can carry on their drug and human smuggling operations undisturbed in less populated areas, law enforcement officials explained.
… ‘The way it’s being orchestrated through the cartels, I believe it’s meant to overwhelm the system. The [places] that are being impacted the most are border communities,’ former El Paso City Councilmember Claudia Rodriquez told The Post.”
Kidnapping is another issue. Mexico’s National Human Rights Commission has warned that drug cartels “found the kidnapping and extortion of migrants to be lucrative.” With the number of migrants reaching the border tripling over the last two decades, criminal groups have taken over migration routes, putting children and families at extreme risk.22
Speaking with NBC News, Nilda García, a researcher at Texas A&M International University in Laredo, explained, “It is very difficult for these groups to pass up this profit, this opportunity to earn money with migrants. Kidnappings are one more layer of its structure … They are very well organized. Sometimes they have military training and access to high-caliber weapons to terrorize migrants.”23
Is Immigration Intended to Beak Down Nationalism?
The video above features Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s mini-documentary “Midnight At the Border,” in which he travels to the U.S.-Mexico border in Yuma, Arizona, to investigate the illegal immigration issue firsthand.
The uncontrolled influx of illegals also puts an enormous strain on local communities, all of which have limited resources. In May 2023, NYC Mayor Eric Adams announced that nearly half of all NYC hotel rooms were occupied by illegal immigrants.24 The city is reportedly reimbursing hotels more than $300 a night per room,25 which means taxpayers are paying, while the city is slashing services in an effort to balance the budget.
Massive tent cities are also being set up to deal with the migrant influx.26 Is the conversion of office buildings to housing the White House’s “solution” to this crisis? Ultimately, it gives the global cabal one more win in its war against the sovereignty of humanity — and sovereign nations.
As Ivor Cummins, a biochemical engineer with a background in medical device engineering and leading teams in complex problem-solving, explains, “There’s … a massive change in immigration … it has been many times identified as a way of breaking down nationalism … the United Nations … made it clear we need to destroy national, we need to destroy sovereign nations …”27

TAMPA, Fla. – Jimmie Gardener, 57, was arrested on Friday morning after a 16-year-old reported that he attacked her for refusing to have sex, according to the Tampa Police Department.
Around 1:43 a.m., TPD says Gardener invited the victim to his room at Renaissance Hotel at International Plaza, and she accepted the invitation.
The victim told police she initially agreed to take money in exchange for sex acts but later told Gardner that she no longer wanted to engage, and he became angry.
According to officials, Gardner told the victim that she needed to leave his hotel room and the two got into a verbal argument that escalated to a physical dispute after Gardner put his hands around the victim’s neck, stopping her from being able to breathe.
TPD says after the dispute, Gardner left the hotel room and the victim called 911. According to officers, Gardner left the scene before they arrived, but found the victim.
Gardner was arrested on charges including human trafficking, lewd and lascivious touching of certain minors, and battery, according to police.

Final figures are in for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023, and the totals are astonishing. In total, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recorded 3,201,144 encounters along the borders during the fiscal year that ended on September 30. That figure represents an increase of 434,625 over FY 2022 and a fivefold increase over FY 2020, the last full year of the Trump administration.
September alone set a new monthly record for illegal entries with 341,392 encounters – eclipsing the previous record set only a month earlier. If that trend were to continue through the new fiscal year, total encounters for FY 2024 would top 4 million. These numbers are the results of open-borders policies that invite everyone in and orders for law enforcement to stand down to make sure they stay.
The stark statistics from FY 2023 speak for themselves:
3,201,144 total encounters – a new record.
2,475,669 encounters at the Southwest border – a new record.
189,402 encounters at the Northern border – a new record.
2,063,692 Border Patrol encounters of people crossing between ports of entry.

736 encounters of individuals on the terror watchlist – a new record.
1.7 million known ‘gotaways’ since President Biden came to office, and at least 769,174 during FY 2023.
The administration continues to insist that record levels of illegal immigration are due to causes beyond its control. “Separately, economic, political and climate instability exacerbated in the aftermath of the covid-19 pandemic is fueling the greatest level of global migration since World War II, particularly in our hemisphere,” Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Mayorkas wrote in a national paper.
The DHS head explained that they are working with partners overseas to stem the flow while “expanding lawful pathways for migration and accelerating work permits….” Could it be that the use of “lawful pathways” that have no basis in law or the provision of American jobs to illegal aliens creates an incentive to encourage more to make the attempt? Or could it be because that the overall policies are actually designed to fail?

On Monday evening, the House voted to effectively kill a bold attempt by Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia to impeach Biden’s Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. The bipartisan decision, with a vote of 209-201, involved referring the resolution to the House Homeland Security Committee.
The House voted on Monday night on Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Articles of Impeachment against Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas.
Following a vote on the Democrats’ Motion to Table, which is expected at approximately 6:30 pm ET, the House is expected to vote on Greene’s resolution.
Tonight on the House floor, the Democrats will motion to table (kill) my resolution to IMPEACH Mayorkas.
A vote with the Democrats is a vote AGAINST impeachment.
It’s time for Mayorkas and the Biden administration to be held accountable for the invasion at our southern border.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Greene introduced the resolution following a tragic incident in which two of her constituents were killed by human traffickers near the border. These deaths and many more are the results of Biden and Mayorkas’ failure to control the border and prevent the entry of terrorists, human traffickers, drugs, and other contraband into the United States.
The resolution to impeach Mayorkas cites a long, long list of evidence – enough to fit on six pages – of Mayorkas’ failures as DHS Secretary.
Under Mayorkas the US southern border has remained wide open for three years. Nearly 10 million illegal aliens have walked across the open border and allowed into the United States.

Republican Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene filed an impeachment resolution against Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Thursday.
Greene announced she filed the resolution on the House floor Thursday morning to impeach Mayorkas for “high crimes and misdemeanors” regarding his handling of illegal immigration and the southern border. The resolution alleges Mayorkas violated his oath of office to “defend and secure our country,” as well as the Secure Fence Act of 2006, the Guarantee Clause in Article 4, Section 4 of the Constitution and other provisions, according to its text.
“Alejandro Nicholas Mayorkas, in his failure to uphold the oath he took, has, by his actions, lost the trust of citizens of the United States to faithfully execute the laws of the United States,” the resolution reads. “Wherefore, Alejandro Nicholas Mayorkas, thus warrants impeachment and trial, removal from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust, 6 or profit under the United States.”
The resolution will go up for a vote within two legislative days, according to a spokesperson for Greene.
“While the House Majority has wasted months trying to score points with baseless attacks, Secretary Mayorkas has been doing his job and working to keep Americans safe,” a DHS spokesperson told the Daily Caller News Foundation in a statement. “Under his leadership, the Department of Homeland Security is stopping unprecedented amounts of fentanyl from entering the country, countering threats from the Chinese government, helping communities recover from natural disasters, and working to protect our nation from cyberattacks, terrorism, and targeted violence. Instead of continuing their reckless impeachment charades and attacks on law enforcement, Congress should work with us to keep our country safe, build on the progress DHS is making, and deliver desperately needed reforms for our broken immigration system that only legislation can fix.”
The resolution also cites record numbers of illegal immigration under Mayorkas’ leadership, including 10 million crossings “broken down between” eight million encounters and 1.8 million “gotaways.” Greene also cited implications of fentanyl, crime, terrorism and other concerns from the border crisis.

Last Tuesday, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee (HSGAC) held a hearing entitled, “Threats to the Homeland” where committee members pressed Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on the disastrous effects of his open-borders policies.
In September, Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 came to a close, marking the highest border encounter numbers on record, with more than 3.2 million aliens apprehended by Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Under Mayorkas’ three-year tenure, over 7.5 million illegal aliens have been encountered by CBP, and at least 1.7 million known gotaways have evaded our border agents. Secretary Mayorkas confirmed last week that over 600,000 aliens were known gotaways in FY23 alone.
Many committee members raised concerns over the skyrocketing number of suspected terrorists caught crossing the border, and national security threats who may have slipped through the cracks. There was a massive uptick in encounters of aliens on the terrorist watchlist apprehended at the border in 2023, with 564 encountered by the Office of Field Operations (OFO) at our ports of entry and 172 encountered by Border Patrol attempting to illegally enter the country. Border Patrol has seen the largest uptick in encounters with aliens on the terrorist watchlist under Mayorkas. When pressed by Senator Marshall (R-Kan.) on whether any of the aliens granted asylum had ties to hostile terrorist groups, Mayorkas refused to confirm how many of these dangerous individuals had been released.
Senator Johnson (R-Wis.) argued that the increased number of Special Interest Aliens (SIAs) from potentially hostile nations filtering into the country puts American lives at risk and makes the task of protecting the homeland more challenging. While CBP has not released official numbers since 2019, numbers internally reported by CBP have revealed that over 73,000 SIAs were encountered by Border Patrol agents between October 2021 and October 2023. Thousands of these SIAs are from countries like Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, and Lebanon.
Senators also pressed Mayorkas on the increased amount of unaccompanied alien children (UACs) crossing the borders. Under Mayorkas, in FY22 and FY23 the number of UACs encountered attempting to enter the country soared, reaching more than four times the total from FY20 in each year. During his questioning, Senator Hawley (R-Mo.), expressed concern over a New York Times report revealing that DHS and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) have lost track of 85,000 UACs. When asked if DHS’ had begun any operations to recover the missing children, Secretary Mayorkas attempted to shift blame to HHS, and accused the Senator of “conflating issues.”
As detailed by FAIR, Secretary Mayorkas has a long track record of putting an open-borders agenda before the safety of the American people. That record was on full display last week, and without any meaningful reform to bolster enforcement efforts, the border crisis will continue to exacerbate threats to the homeland.

A Chicago suburb declared an emergency Thursday over the arrival of a few dozen migrants, according to a press release.
The Village of Oak Park is caring for more than 100 migrants that needed shelter amid cold temperatures, according to the press release from the local board. The migrants were largely living outside of a Chicago Police Department station.
The Chicago suburb approved $150,000 on Oct. 30 for migrants in addition to $150,000 in grant funding from Metropolitan Mayors Caucus, according to the press release. Village Manager Kevin J. Jackson also opened an emergency operations center Nov. 1 to help migrants get shelter.
With the help of local faith-based organizations, the Village of Oak Park has been able to offer migrants help with translations and medical care. Local leaders, however, have asked that the community pause donations of supplies and meals as there is a plan to help migrants in the short-term.
“Following the activation of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Wednesday, the Village’s emergency response plan to this situation remains in development. Once solidified, officials expect to put out a call to the community for ongoing support to address the needs of the migrant population,” the village board said in a statement regarding a pause on donations.
Federal authorities at the southern border have seen a surge in illegal immigration in recent years. The number of migrants that got into the U.S. either after law enforcement apprehension or by running from authorities is larger than the populations of 11 states, a Daily Caller News Foundation review of fiscal year 2023 data found.

The source says the influx of Syrian and Iranian Special Interest Migrants is concerning, considering the turmoil unfolding in the Middle East.
The Syrian and Iranian migrants were apprehended in multiple sectors across the southwest border during October. The latest arrest of an Iranian national by the Border Patrol occurred near Eagle Pass, Texas, on Saturday. The Iranian national was discovered within a single group of more than 300 that crossed into the small border city.
