Biden is Paying Osama bin Laden’s Old Airline to Fly Out Afghans

The Taliban are getting rich from the immigration business. And we’re paying for it.

Ariana Afghan Airlines used to fly Al Qaeda terrorists from Afghanistan to the Middle East. As a sideline, it also flew guns and drugs on behalf of the Islamic terrorist organization. While Ariana was controlled by Osama bin Laden, it was allegedly coordinated by Viktor Bout, the Russian arms dealer whom Biden has offered to trade for pothead WNBA player Brittney Griner.

But these days Ariana has a new mission and we’re the ones paying for it.

The Biden administration is buying bulk tickets on the Taliban airline, according to a congressional report, and paying “approximately $300,000 per flight to a Taliban controlled airline in order to allow U.S. citizens and Afghan allies to continue evacuating.”

Taliban Air flies Afghans to Qatar, a close ally and state sponsor of Islamic terrorists, and then they go on to America. With tens of thousands to over a hundred thousand Afghans in the pipeline, the Taliban could see over $100 million in payments from Biden for its airline.

Ariana Afghan Airlines, notorious for its terrorist connections and its poor safety record (the Europeans banned it some years back and it’s ranked as one of the most dangerous airlines in the world although face masks and probably burkas are compulsory), is once again under the control of the Taliban. And it’s a crucial part of the Taliban business model.

The Taliban sabotaged Biden’s retreat, keeping Americans and Afghans with visas trapped behind enemy lines to profit from their evacuation. And they’ve been doing just that. While the media has been shy about covering what’s going on, the Taliban have been quite open.

Taliban officials have boasted of handing out over 700,000 passports to collect $50 million.

“We are issuing up to 4,000 passports daily and we aim to increase the number to 10,000,” Shirshah Quraishi, deputy director of Afghanistan’s passport department, bragged.

It’s a myth that the Taliban are not allowing Afghans to leave. They’re happy to facilitate the trip for the right price. They’re also willing to let Americans and other foreigners visit since “the Taliban leadership also made more than $1 million in visa fees paid by more than 4,100 foreign nationals who have visited Afghanistan over the past year.” Many if not most of those visitors are involved in humanitarian aid organizations which the United States is also financing.

The Taliban profit from the Biden administration buying bulk tickets on its terrorist airline, they profit from issuing the visas to Afghans leaving the country and they profit from them once they come to America. A Los Angeles Times profile of a family of Afghan refugees describes them getting welfare payments and then sending money back home to Afghanistan.

Such remittances are a commonplace reality among immigrants and a major incentive for mass migration. A number of Latin American economies depend on remittances leading them to encourage mass migration to America. The Taliban have done the same thing in Afghanistan.

In 2020, total Afghan international remittances were estimated at $780 million making up 4% of the failed state’s GDP. Between the mass migration and the collapse of Afghanistan’s economy, the numbers fell, but will likely rebound to become much higher in the coming years.

Much of this money is sent through the Islamic ‘Hawala’ system often used by terrorists.

The Biden administration deliberately insulated remittances from sanctions on the Taliban and Al Qaeda’s Haqqani network going so far as “authorizing transactions involving the U.S.-blacklisted Taliban or Haqqani Network that are incident and necessary to the transfer of noncommercial, personal remittances to Afghanistan.”

Biden had created a massive loophole for funding Al Qaeda and the Taliban.

Afghans in America are collecting welfare and sending cash back home. Some of it may be going to their family members while other payments may end up in the hands of the terrorists. Either way, the Taliban and Al Qaeda will take their cut.

And the flow of remittances will make the Taliban Air flights and the visa payoffs seem minute.

Taliban financial institutions break up remittances into installments, thereby potentially profiting from interest rates (despite the formal Islamic stricture against it), charge fees and peg payments to their artificial exchange rate against the dollar which has little connection to reality.

The Taliban profit in three separate ways from just the payments alone, and will profit in many more ways as the money is injected into an economy that they control. That’s why they want to hand out 10,000 visas a day if they can. The more Afghans come to America, the more money the terrorists make when they send payments back home. It’s also why so many of the Afghan migrants are young military-age men. They were never refugees, but guest workers meant to move to America, get jobs, collect aid and send the money back to the Taliban terror state.

The flow of military-age men also helps disguise a terrorist infrastructure allowing Taliban, ISIS and Al Qaeda to inflitrate America, build criminal and terror cells to provide more cash and plot attacks among the huge number of undocumented migrants flown out by Biden in the last days.

The Afghanistan refugee crisis is actually a deliberate effort by the Taliban to create a sustainable funding model for their failed terrorist state through humanitarian aid, passports, flights and remittances. And Americans are footing the bill at every stage of the scam.

Under Osama bin Laden, Ariana Afghan Airlines was a system for transporting terrorists. Under the Taliban, it will play that role once again. Even the Clinton administration had sanctioned Ariana, while Biden is funding Ariana flights, allowing the terror airline to maintain its legitimacy and finance its operations. On September 11, Al Qaeda infiltrated our nation and flew airplanes into our buildings. Now, the terrorists are inflitrating their cash cows and terrorists into America.

And we’re paying their airline for the tickets.

Arizona AG’S Office Files Civil Rights Lawsuit Against Tucson

Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich’s office filed a civil rights lawsuit against the City of Tucson over its COVID-19 vaccination requirements.

The Attorney General’s office says the city violated Arizona law and discriminated against Tucson employees by not honoring religious and disability-related medical exemptions to the city’s coronavirus vaccine mandate.

The Attorney General’s office says that several city employees reached out to make the same complaint. As a result, the Arizona Civil Rights Division filed a divisional charge alleging Tucson “discriminated against its employees based on religion or disability and retaliated against its employees who engaged in protected activity under the Arizona Civil Rights Act (ACRA),” according to a press release from the Attorney General’s office.

“Tucson dictated a widespread vaccine mandate without regard to its impact on the liberties and civil rights of its employees,” Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich said in the press release. “Many of those affected are first responders, and it’s our turn to be there for them. The city’s misguided vaccine mandate is an ugly example of government overreach that we must vigorously oppose.”

In August last year, Tucson enacted a coronavirus vaccine mandate for its more than 4,000 employees. They could also apply for a religious or medical exemption if they chose.

“Tucson purposefully and punitively implemented a mandatory vaccine requirement for all of its employees, putting their employment in jeopardy, in a malicious effort to head off impending Arizona legislation that would have prohibited Tucson’s efforts to require the COVID-19 vaccine,” the Attorney General’s office wrote in its press release.

The lawsuit alleges that the city planned to give employees three business days to get vaccinated or to submit an exemption or accommodation request. The city ended up extending the deadline but placed the unvaccinated on unpaid suspension “regardless of whether their accommodation or exemption requests were pending or approved,” according to the press release. 

The lawsuit also says the city issued 40-hour or 60-hour unpaid suspensions to employees. It says most of them were employed by the police and fire departments. The Attorney General’s office adds that those departments “had been or were engaging in an interactive process, alleging that the unpaid suspension was warranted because it was insubordinate of them to miss the initial yet arbitrary deadline.”

Additionally, the lawsuit alleges that Tucson “imposed adverse, retaliatory actions against its employees who engaged in protected activities and limited, segregated, and classified them due to their religion or disability,” according to the press release.

“Tucson claimed the adverse terms and conditions were ‘incentives’ for vaccination, but Tucson knew and admitted that the employees who had approved accommodations based on religion, medical condition, or disability would not be incentivized to get a vaccine,” the press release says.

The Arizona Attorney General’s office urges those who feel as though their civil rights have been violated to contact the AGO’s Civil Rights Division in Phoenix at (602) 542-5263, Tucson at (520) 628-6500, or toll-free (877) 491-5742 or fill out an intake questionnaire at AGO’s civil rights online intake questionnaire.

A spokesperson for the city of Tucson could not be immediately reached for comment on Wednesday.

Musk: “Civilization Will Crumble” Without Oil and Gas

Editors’ Note: Elon Musk is hard to categorize. On the one hand, he is selling a lot of cars because of government subsidies, tax breaks, and coercion. But on the other hand, he notes such policies are anti-human and will lead to great misery and chaos. His space business gets a lot of both government and private sector business, largely because NASA could not do the job and left the world reliant on Russian rockets. He seems to believe in having children, yet he has them with multiple women. But with his comments below,  he recognizes that we are destroying cheap, healthy, and dependable energy sources, seeking to replace that technology with new methods that are unproven and way behind the curve. He recognizes that environmentalism today puts a mythical “earth” above the needs of people, and thus is a secular religion that will likely kill a lot of people in the process. More ironic is that solar panels and windmills could not even be made without material and the energy created by fossil fuels. The “new energy” is completely dependent on the “old” energy it seeks to eliminate. But so is just about everything that provides our high standard of living almost totally dependent on fossil fuels. He seems to understand all this while our political leaders do not. Given his following, this is a good thing, even if we may disagree with some aspects of his business and personal life.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk spoke out about the need for more drilling and exploration of fossil-fuel resources for decades to come while addressing attendees at the ONS 2022 energy conference in Stavanger, Norway, on Monday.

“Realistically I think we need to use oil and gas in the short term, because otherwise civilization will crumble,” Musk told reporters at the conference.

When asked if Norway should continue to drill for oil and gas, Musk said, “I think some additional exploration is warranted at this time.”

“One of the biggest challenges the world has ever faced is the transition to sustainable energy and to a sustainable economy,” he said.

“That will take some decades to complete.”

Warning the conference participants who are quite aware of the world’s energy woes, especially in Europe, Musk stated, “We actually need more oil and gas, not less.” This is in line with the current concern that Europe’s energy issues will get much worse over the upcoming winter. There is also the risk of continued high gas prices and the fact that the power grid is being rendered more unstable in the United States by reliance on so-called sustainable energy.

The Blaze reported,

Musk’s theme of civilizational collapse as a response to a premature transition off of fossil fuels is taken up in scientist and policy analyst Vaclav Smil’s recent book “How the World Really Works.” Although Smil discusses the impact more broadly, he zeroes in on our food supply’s link to fossil fuels: “Our food supply — be it staple grains, clucking birds, favorite vegetables, or seafood praised for its nutritious quality — has become increasingly dependent on fossil fuels.”

Smil, like Musk, anticipates a transition, but does not think it can be rushed. “Even if we try to change the global food system as fast as is realistically conceivable, we will be eating transformed fossil fuels, be it as loaves of bread or as fishes, for decades to come.”

He is certain that the coming transition “will not be (it cannot be) a sudden abandonment of fossil carbon, nor even its rapid demise — but rather its gradual decline.”

Last week Musk, the electric-vehicle pioneer and disciple of renewable energy sources, tweeted, “Countries should be increasing nuclear power generation! It is insane from a national security standpoint & bad for the environment to shut them down.”

A response to Elon’s tweet stated, “Nuclear is clean, efficient, and could replace fossil fuels entirely if it was embraced. It’s not, because so-called environmentalists aren’t pro-clean energy, they are anti-human.” Musk agreed, posting, “Some are indeed sadly anti-human.”

Germany is suffering from the “anti-human” environmentalists’ effect on their nation’s green-energy goals. They have gone from 17 nuclear power plants to just three in an aggressive transition to wind and solar power, which has not worked. Germany still heavily relies on fossil fuels for more than 75 percent of the nation’s energy needs.

Musk’s comments come after California Governor Gavin Newsom’s California Air Resources Board voted to require all new vehicles in the state to run on electricity by 2035. California, the nation’s most populous state, is likely to suffer grave consequences from this massive government-forced regulation.

California’s “ground-breaking” effort to lead the nation and world with Zero Emission Vehicle goals can only lead the state into an economic abyss brought forth by renewable energy grand illusions. The infrastructure and technology required to even get the ball rolling toward being free of fossil fuels is at the very least decades away.

Joining California last week, the far-left Marxist states of Massachusetts and Washington also issued mandates requiring the purchase of electric vehicles. In what can only be pure nonsensical “green madness” lemming behavior, those states passed legislation in 2019 to follow whatever guidelines are enacted by the California Air Resources Board. Sadly, all of these states are falling victim to the policies of their hubris-infected, green-energy politicians.

Elon Musk’s warning that civilization will crumble could very well come to pass if the Democrat-supported leftist green-energy evangelists continue to impose their oppressive agenda. The Great Reset is in play, and the world as we know it is rapidly changing.  So, it is up to all of us to continue to challenge our leaders and keep them on a path away from the evils and falsehood of “sustainable” energy.

Americans Expect Beefed up IRS to Target Political Opponents, Audit Lower and Middle Class Americans

More Americans believe the latest legislation to hire 87,000 Internal Revenue Service agents is part of a plan to audit middle and lower class Americans and small businesses than to target corporations and wealthy Americans, according to a new poll.

Convention of States Action, along with the Trafalgar group, released the poll that found that “52.1 percent of voters say that the new 87,000 IRS employees, approved by President [Joe] Biden’s legislation, will be used to audit middle-class Americans, low-income earners, and small businesses; or to target the political opponents of those in power.”

The poll comes after Democrats passed the Inflation Reduction Act, legislation that allocated $80 billion in additional taxpayer funds to the IRS.

Overall, 33% of those surveyed said the new IRS employees will be used “to audit middle class Americans and small businesses” while 31.6% said they will be used “to audit wealthy Americans and large corporations.”

Another 15.9% said the auditors will be used “to target the political opponents of those in power.”

We wanted to understand whether or not voters believe that the true purpose of hiring 87,000 new IRS agents is to focus on – the Biden Administration has been claiming – ’large corporate and high-net-worth taxpayers’ or whether something else is afoot,” said Mark Meckler, president of the Convention of States Action. “Democrats believe that this is the case, and that what they’ve been told by their leaders is accurate. Independents and Republicans strongly believe the country is being lied to, and that this new IRS is going to target either everyday Americans, or those who are political opponents of the federal bureaucracy.”

“We have volunteers in every state, and this matches what we are hearing from the grassroots,” Meckler added.

Another recent poll found that most Americans don’t expect the Inflation Reduction Act to actually reduce inflation.

As The Center Square previously reported, a Morning Consult/Politico poll released earlier this month found that only 24% of those surveyed think the bill will actually reduce inflation while 34% said it will make inflation worse.

Who Are You Calling A Fascist, Mr. President?

The other day Joe Biden accused voters of the opposition party of turning to “semi-fascism.” This is probably the first time in American history a president has openly attacked the opposing party’s constituents in this way. Grammatically speaking, the accusation could use a little work. What Biden probably meant to say was that 74 million Americans who voted for Donald Trump in 2020 are “quasi-fascist” or “increasingly fascistic.”

Then again, Biden, who once alleged that the chaste Mitt Romney was harboring a desire to bring back chattel slavery, is prone to stupid hyperbole. And it’s true that most people who throw around the word “fascist” fail to do so with much precision.* Anyway, our president will probably further explain his thinking on the matter of “semi-fascism” when he gives a prime-time speech about threats to our “democracy” this Thursday [yesterday]—a week after he broke millions of existing contracts and unilaterally “forgave” student loans by executive decree. Biden has engaged in historic and unprecedented abuses of White House power. Sometimes, the chutzpah is staggering.

These days, the word “democracy,” like “fascism,” has lost all meaning. According to Democrats, asking someone to show ID before voting is an attack on “democracy,” but so is the Supreme Court’s handing back power to voters on the abortion issue. When you have no limiting principles of governance, anything that inhibits your exertion of power is seen as anti-“democracy.” If students have loans to be paid, “forgive” them. If you can’t pass a bill, the executive branch should do it by fiat. If the court stops it, pack it. Power is only to be limited when the opposition holds it. When Donald Trump wants to divert money to secure the southern border, it evokes images of 1930s Germany. When Barack Obama unilaterally bestows amnesty on millions of newcomers, without any debate or due process, it is just and moral … and shut up racists.

A microcosm of this confused thinking can be found in the recent spate of hysterical media pieces about alleged Republican “book banning.” The use of “ban” by the media is more than a category error, it’s an effort to paint parents who use the very same exact democratic powers the left has relied on for decades as book burners. Public school curricula and book selection are political questions decided by school and library boards. Neither have a duty to carry every single volume on racial identitarianism or sexually explicit material simply demanded by some busybody at the American Library Association. We can debate whether these books are harmful or not, but it is neither fascism nor authoritarian to make those decisions.

Anyway, you’re not just anti-democratic for supporting a Republican presidential candidate, you’re now a semi-fascist. Henry Olson disagrees, noting that:

Classic 20th-century fascism was a political philosophy that comprehensively denounced modern liberal democracy. Fascists believed that multiparty democracy weakened the nation, and that competitive capitalism was wasteful and exploitative. Their alternative was a one-party state that guided the economy through regulation and sector-based accords between labor and business.

It’s somewhat more complicated, as most fascist regimes were also propelled by ethnonationalism and jingoism. The left tends to confuse, or conflate, the blood-and-soil European variety with American nationalism — the kind that a few Nazis in Charlottesville embraced, but which is not even close to the predominant position of Republican voters.

But it is the left that champions government intervention in the economy, with never-ending regulations, subsidies, and mandates that effectively allow for controlling the means of production. Leftists—some incrementally, some less so—are the proponents of nationalizing the healthcare system, the energy sector, and education. Again, if progressives have any limiting principles when it comes to intervention in our economic lives, I’d love to hear about them.

The most vociferous defenders of “democracy” are also the ones who sound suspiciously like they want a one-party state. Modern Democrats have stopped debating policy or accepting the legitimacy of anyone who stands in their way. They will pass massive, generational reforms using parliamentary tricks, without any input from the minority. And they don’t merely champion their work as beneficial, they claim these bills are needed for the survival of “democracy” and “civilization” – nay, the survival of the planet. Anyone who opposes saving Mother Earth is surely a fascist. There is nothing to debate. The villainization of political opponents isn’t new, but we are breaking new ground. We live in an era where a failed former CIA director, Michael Hayden—the man who was on watch during 9/11—says that he has “never come across a political force more nihilistic, dangerous & contemptible than today’s Republicans.”

Some may find it a bit fascist-y that the FBI feels free to instruct giant rent-seeking corporations to censor news to help elect their preferred candidate. Or that the White House is in the business of “flagging” “problematic posts” or in the habit of threatening corporations to “root out” “misleading” speech or be held accountable. A “Disinformation Governance Board” that sifts through speech the administration dislikes or a Justice Department that treats those protesting authoritarian school boards as “domestic terrorists” is semi-fascism. When Democrats challenge the veracity of election results, and rely on law enforcement and media to con the public, it is merely democracy at work. When Republicans do it, it’s the “Big Lie” worthy of not only condemnation but state-endorsed censorship.

The modern left, which increasingly sees the world in identitarian terms, is also the enemy of true diversity. As one of my favorites, Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn, noted long ago, the progressives won’t rest until the person who opposes their orthodoxy “lives outside the gates, or is utterly humiliated.” This sounds quite familiar to anyone living in an era where the media and government work to deplatform and chase anyone who diverges from orthodoxy out of the public square. There are entire genres of journalism dedicated to helping the left circumvent debate by falsely claiming to have a monopoly on “facts.”

It is curious, as well, that the same people who control basically all major institutions in American life—academia, media, unions, Silicon Valley, Wall Street, trade associations, public schools, publishing, the entire D.C. bureaucracy, Hollywood, Madison Avenue, not to mention the presidency and Congress—claim to be victims of budding authoritarianism. The only major institution free of progressives’ grip right now is the Supreme Court. And the left is engaged in a systematic effort to delegitimize the court for doing its job and limiting the state’s power.

None of this is to say that the right is innocent. I often find myself debating the populist right on issues ranging from the free markets and the role of the state. Abuses of the Constitution should be called out no matter who engages in them. However, progressivism’s crusade to destroy the separation of powers, its attacks on religious freedom and free speech, its undermining of civil society, its binding of the economy to the state, and its fostering of perpetual dependency and victimhood, are far bigger long-term threats to the republic than Trumpism—and far closer to the definition of “semi-fascism” than the Republican agenda.

*I am guilty of this, as well. The Democrat Party has come up with a unique political motto for their 2022 midterm elections, which we expect will carry them into the 2024 presidential primary and general election—”Don’t Vote For Us!”

Crist the former republican, then independent and now democrat believes Republicans have “hate in their heart!”

Well Charlie’s I don’t want your vote or “don’t vote for me” motto is catching on.

We believe that every Democrat has the right to be stupid, it’s just that some of them tend to abuse their white privilege to be very very stupid like Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.

After fully analyzing and reviewing their new “Don’t Vote For Us!” motto, we came to the conclusion that they truly don’t want us to vote for them.

Also, note that Crist is using the same tactics against Governor Ron DeSantis as Biden is using against President Donald J. Trump.

Coincidence? We think not. Why? Because Crist is Biden’s lag dog.

This appears to be the Democrat long term strategy for both 2022 and then 2024.

Here is White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre labeling supporters of former President Donald Trump “an extremist threat to our democracy” at Wednesday’s press briefing.

Karine Jean-Pierre goes on to say,

“The president thinks that there is an extremist threat to our democracy. The president has been clear as he can be on that particular piece when we talk about our democracy, when we talk about our freedoms. The way that he sees the MAGA Republicans are the most energized part of the Republican Party. This is an extreme threat to our democracy, to our freedom, to our rights. They just don’t respect the rule of law.”

It’s most interesting that Jean-Pierre used the terms “extreme”, “threat” and “respect for the rule of law” when Biden sent armed FBI agents to Mar-a-Lago the home of the Trump family and then two weeks later sent armed U.S. Marshals to Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania to harass and then shut down a peaceful, law abiding Amish organic farmer.

Jean-Pierre also used the word “democracy” when the United States is in fact a Constitutional Republic where the federal government has limited powers and the states and individual citizens have plenary or absolute or unqualified powers.

Jean-Pierre also labels the threat those who wants to make America great again, hence “MAGA Republicans.”

If Democrats don’t want to make America great then they obviously want to make America and Americans poor, weak and voiceless.

Remember when President John Adams stated,

Well it appears the the democrat party and its democracy is committing political suicide.

Hence it makes perfect sense when their motto is “Don’t Vote For Us!” or DVFU.

BTW. Does the “FU” in “DVFU” stand for what they think of the American voters? Just asking for a MAGA friend.

We just want to help Democrats by doing what they truly want—not voting for them.

Therefore, in the interest of listening to Democrats like Christ, Biden, Pelosi, Schumer and of course Karine Jean-Pierre we won’t vote for them, at all.

I just read an interesting article titled Why Are So Many Bad Things Happening To America In 2022? by Michael Snyder, posted on Prophecy News Watch and found his conclusion, that we are witnessing many destructive events tied to Bible prophecy unfolding around the world, to be spot on. The article begs a question: Are these events the result of God’s judgement on wicked nations and people, or are they the result of evil and stupid decisions made by those nations and the people in control of their various governments?

Stupidity versus Evil

Stupidity

Right upfront I want to make a distinction between stupidity and evil, even though the difference between the two sometimes seems negligible. By its definition, stupidity generally indicates ‘a lack of intelligence’, and admittedly, most of the people I have known who did stupid things truly exhibited a lower than average level of intelligence, at least for short periods of time. I thought at the time that their stupidity was an attempt to be cute, or funny, even though the result of their actions sometimes had the opposite effect, causing discomfort in those around them.

Having lived on this earth almost eighty years, I have witnessed many acts of human stupidity, most having seemed insignificant early on, but with increasing significance as time passed. Many of the acts I witnessed took place locally and seemed to have a negligible effect on people in the areas where they occurred, so they were likely given little attention.

Now, the visible level of stupidity has ramped up to a point where nearly every person on earth has been, and is constantly being, affected greatly by stupidity that can be witnessed in every nation.

I have joked at times about the world “being possessed by a spirit of stupid”, but when persons act stupidly, in my opinion, it makes them more easily susceptible to potentially deadly deception from evil sources, indicating that the situation is not one to be taken lightly.

Evil

Evil, on the other hand, is defined as being ‘morally reprehensible, sinful and wicked’, putting those who commit evil acts in the same category as those who directly oppose God and everything He is. Evil usually arises out of, or sometimes causes, bad behavior in those who commit evil acts. Dictionary.com calls evil, “the force in nature that governs and gives rise to wickedness and sin”. In the Bible, that force is clearly attributed to Satan.

In that same time period of nearly eighty years, I have also witnessed some truly evil acts, acts that were deliberately intended to cause harm or loss to people. Based on the raising I had from Godly parents, I learned the differences between evil and mere stupidity. The reaction to witnessing evil was one of a cringing conscience, realizing just how abhorrent real evil is, while witnessing stupidity only made one feel sorry for the stupid ones. Admittedly, I struggled much more with the evil acts than I did the stupid ones.

Even though some stupid acts can produce results that cause harm and loss, they usually lack the intent that make them evil in nature.

Stupidity and Evil in Government

Even though there are different definitions of ‘evil’ and ‘stupidity’ in the various dictionaries, there is one place where both appear regularly and cause extreme harm and loss, and that place is politics and governments. Though I have visited several other countries, I have only lived in the United States, so any knowledge I have of governments other than the US has come from other people or various news sources.

I have followed politics in general, and presidential politics in particular, for many years. As a child of 9 or 10 years of age, I was fascinated by ‘people in power’, their actions and ideologies, wondering why they acted as they did in many situations. Had I been more mature, I might have understood whether their acts and the motives for them were evil in nature, or only ‘stupid’. At that time, I had no in-depth knowledge of ‘evil’, what it was or how it worked, and I had not lived long enough to even define ‘stupid’.

Now, after so many years, the difference between evil and stupid are much easier to distinguish, and though that makes them easier to understand, it does not make either of them easier to accept.

I find it impossible to contemplate that our nation’s founders would readily accept either as desirable elements in our government.

Stupidity in Politicians

We are now seeing exactly what would have made the Founders cringe in disbelief, shock and  concern. The US government, every part of it, from the Executive to the Legislative to the Judicial branches, and especially the out-of-control bureaucracies, appears to be completely possessed by the aforementioned ‘spirit of stupid’ and have become deceived by the force of evil. I say ‘appears’ and offer several possible explanations for this: 1) Their deception has rendered them oblivious to the harm they are doing, not only to the credibility of their offices but to nearly every American citizen who previously looked to them all for leadership and accountability, or 2) They are not stupid but are evil, and possibly evilly stupid all at the same time. If they ARE aware of the harm they cause, then they are likely way beyond stupid and are truly evil.

With the world having ‘shrunken’ due to instant communications, both audibly and visually and the ability to witness events anywhere in the world while they are occurring, I would have to surmise that the other governments of the world are making the same evil and/or stupid mistakes we see here in the US.

Anyone who is aware of the unbelievably stupid decisions they make must wonder what has happened to our once-great nation.

What Happened to TRUE Government?

Anyone who has read any of my articles know what value I place on the true meaning of words.

The word ‘govern’ is a verb which, according to Dictionary.com, means: 1a: “to exercise continuous sovereign authority over (as exercised by a king); especially to control and direct the making and administration of policy” , and 2b: “to rule without sovereign power usually without having the authority to determine basic policy” and 2a: archaic manipulate. The best definition of ‘manipulate’ in this instance is from the Merriam-Webster Dictionary and read thus: “to control or ‘play upon’ by artful, unfair, or insidious means especially to one’s own advantage”. The definition of the word ‘artful’, also per Merriam-Webster, is “adroit in attaining an end usually by insinuating or indirect means”, : wily.  The Merriam-Webster definition of ‘insidious’ is , “awaiting a chance to entrap : treacherous.

The word ‘government’, derived from the word ‘govern’, is a noun meaning 1) “the political direction and control exercised over the actions of the members, citizens, or inhabitants of communities, societies, and states”; “direction of the affairs of a state, community, etc.; political administration”, and 2), “the form or system of rule by which a state, community, etc., is governed”.

‘True human government’ was instituted by Almighty God and provided to the human race when He placed Adam and Eve in their original positions as the ones to whom He gave ‘dominion’ of the world’ (Genesis 1:26 KJV). God’s decision to allow man to govern himself was meant to create a government that was righteous in nature, as was man before he sinned.

All well and good so far, but that dominion did not last long before it was given away to the liar and the father of all lies. That ‘giveaway’ launched the ‘system of politics’ which has been used to dominate and control the world ever since. Had mankind remained in the condition  in which they were created, human government would likely still be working quite well.

All human government, based on various political systems, e.g. a Constitutional Republic (United States), a parliamentary democracy (United Kingdom), a theocracy (Iran), or an empire (Babylon, Greece, Rome, etc.) is, to a certain extent, under the direct or indirect control of Satan who received that control as a ‘gift of disobedience’ from Adam. Using his own political system, he has maintained a great degree of control over these governments for several thousand years, and in ALL of them, politics play a major role.

Politics: The Most Evil and Stupid System

We are told that Lucifer was the highest of God’s angelic creation, who was described as the ‘morning star’ and the ‘light bringer’, the  archangel who had a high position in the heaven lies and was actually given a throne on the pre-Adamic earth. He rebelled against God, being jealous of God’s power and authority and convinced many of God’s angelic beings to follow him in a war to unseat God and institute the worship of Lucifer.

The war failed and Lucifer and his followers were banned from heaven. Even though we are not told in the Bible, many believe the fact that the earth was “without form and void” (Hebrew to’-hu va bo’-hu, meaning chaos) in the Genesis 1:2 KJV account of creation, was the condition of the planet caused by God’s wrath against Lucifer. In any case. Lucifer lost his majestic standing. He obviously decided he would retaliate against God through God’s greatest creation; Adam and Eve.

All believers who have read and understand the prophecies against evil in general, and Satan in particular, especially those in the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, know that Satan’s rebellion has a decided end, and that end is the casting of Satan and all other created beings who follow him and rebel against God into the eternal Lake of Fire.

Satan’s existence and his prophesied end should convince all who have ‘understanding’, of the utter foolishness of rebelling against, and going to war against, the Being Who created everything. To even consider such an undertaking indicates a serious act of stupidity, indicating that evil IS stupid and all who decide to accept evil as their modus operandi are BOTH evil AND stupid.

Conclusion

My conclusion is that in most cases, evil and stupid cannot be separated and that opinion seems to be borne out by the political decisions that have, for the most part, caused the events  we are now witnessing. Satan’s plan to unseat God from His throne has brought an untold level of pain, grief, loss and death to untold millions of humans throughout history.

We know that there are specific events prophesied to unfold in what we know as the ‘End Times’, the ‘Last Days’, the ‘70th week of Daniel’, and the ‘Time of Jacob’s Trouble’, more commonly called the Tribulation Period. But are there events that we can expect to see before the catching away of the Body of Christ which will precede the start of the tribulation? There are those who believe all the prophesied terrible events are reserved for the seven year Tribulation Period. But bear in mind that God has exercised His sovereign right to pronounce and execute judgment on nations and individuals many times throughout recorded history. The history of the Jewish people bears out this fact.

What we believe many times to be an act of stupidity might as easily be an act of abject evil, designed to accomplish Satan’s goal of ‘stealing, killing and destroying’ (John 10:10 KJV). We should all know by now that the ‘act of governing’, which should be the act of becoming, and being, responsible for the welfare of the citizens of any state, is now an act designed specifically to enrich those who are placed in the ‘governing bodies of all governments’, whether by election, or appointment; the enrichment of these individuals is attained through the corrupted political system that controls all governments, a system based on The Love of Money.

We are witnessing the time and events described by Paul in his letter to Timothy wherein he spoke of the result of such a corrupt system: “being pierced through with many sorrows” (1 Timothy 6:10 KJV). The best advice I can give to anyone who thinks being a politician in the current state of the world’s governments is a good thing is this: think long and hard and understand how that decision might affect you and the lives of your family.

I have come to the conclusion that no man will be able to make either America, or any other nation, great again in this evil age, and the very best we can hope for and expect is, through faith and steadfastness, to remain true to our Father and be with the Lord when He returns to this earth to eliminate politics and set up a true and righteous kingdom, the only one that will last eternally.

Joe Biden will wrap himself in the flag tonight and deliver a primetime address to the nation on how we must restore our rights, our freedoms, and our democracy.  As you listen to what undoubtedly will be a masterpiece of group-produced propaganda, just remember what his policies and the policies of the Democrat Party and its ideological masters on the hard Left really do to people.

The 15 percent minimum corporate tax in Joe Biden’s so-called ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ will wipe out the low income housing tax credit which has helped build and rehabilitate millions of homes for low income Americans.  Way to go.

Home prices are at record levels and apartment rents have spiked.  You can blame Democrat policies for driving up costs.  Government mortgage subsidies raise home prices just like government student grants and loans have made college tuition rates go sky-high.  The Fed buys mortgage-backed securities, artificially increasing the amount of capital available for the residential market, hurting affordability.  Government has cut the supply of new rental housing with density restrictions and environmental regulations that tack on 30 percent to the cost of new apartments, and with rent control laws which cut incentives for new construction and upkeep.  Leftist Utopia better come quick because people can’t afford to live here anymore.

The homeless problem created by Democrats is so bad in Portland homeowners are moving away because homeless people are camping out in their back yards with impunity.  When L.A. tried to rein in the homeless camps near schools and parks, a Leftist mob descended on City Hall.  We didn’t have such big problems with homelessness until Democrats and Leftists started romanticizing the subject and encouraging it.

Democrat-captured Oregon decriminalized heroin and cocaine, and overdose deaths rose 41 percent, two-and-a-half times faster than in the rest of the country.  I’ll go out on a limb, here, and predict that putting the government stamp of approval on drug use and giving addicts free needles, free crack pipes, and safe places to shoot up in the name of ‘harm reduction’ will produce more drug use, not less.  Society will be worse off for it.  That’s just common sense.

Elsewhere on the Left coast, California passed a law restricting independent contractors who must now, in many circumstances, be considered employees and given employee benefits.  Sounds great, right?  Well, it means gig workers lose their autonomy to set their own hours and it also means higher prices for the rest of us.  The trucking industry is especially hard hit, as many logistics companies primarily use truck drivers who own their own rigs.  These drivers will now become employees, meaning fewer people will own their own businesses and become wage slaves.  It’s all part of the Left’s master plan to attack freedom and drum out independent-minded people who want to be captains of their own fate in what has been, up to this point, the land of the free and the home of the brave.

The attacks on gig workers and low cost housing follow a familiar Democrat-Leftist pattern:  things are just no darn good unless they’re perfect, unless we have Utopia.  We saw it with Obamacare.  Cheap catastrophic insurance that satisfied millions of people’s needs for decade became the enemy of the people because it didn’t cover everything.  Now, gold-plated Obamacare policies force men to have pregnancy coverage and mandate essential health benefits, preexisting condition coverage, and restrictions on true risk calculation for aging, driving up costs enormously.  The drive for perfection and Utopia pushed the cost of insurance policies northwards of $20,000 a year.  Then they turn around and say, ‘Oh, but we’ll HELP you,’ first with subsidies, now with jumbo subsidies – subsidies that drive up costs further just like with tuition.

Obamacare is another insidious Democrat-Leftist dependency machine – the Democrats and the Left create the problem in the first place, then make it so you can’t function without the assistance of the federal government.  It’s not supposed to be this way, and it’s not healthy because it produces perpetual children incapable of running their own lives, weaklings content to have the government take over all responsibility.

So, when you listen to Joe Biden’s fine words at Independence Hall tonight, just remember, he wants to put y’all in chains.  They might be golden chains, but you will no longer be free if his side wins what Biden calls the ‘battle for the soul of the nation’.  Take the chains – lose your soul, it’s that simple.

President Joe Biden’s Internal Revenue Service (IRS) gave a huge number of prison inmates at least $1.3 billion in COVID-19 stimulus checks, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

There are more than 1.1 million incarcerated individuals who took in the stimulus money, according to IRS data provided to the Free Beacon, as part of Biden’s $1.4 trillion American Rescue Plan. Those incarcerated who received the stimulus money includes roughly 163,000 people serving life sentences without parole, the IRS told Republican Nebraska Rep. Don Bacon in a letter obtained by the outlet.

“Democrats had every opportunity to stop taxpayer dollars from going to convicted criminals,” Mike Palicz, federal affairs manager for Americans for Tax Reform, a group seeking to lower federal spending, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Instead, Democrats blocked a Republican amendment that would’ve prevented inmates from receiving stimulus payments and sent up to $1,400 checks to more than one million incarcerated criminals.”

The American Rescue Plan was signed by Biden in March 2021 in order to provide relief to Americans amid the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic. Americans earning $75,000 or less per year were eligible for a $1,400 stimulus check under the plan and married couples filing jointly earning $150,000 or less were eligible for a $2,800 check.

Republicans overwhelmingly opposed the stimulus package, claiming its price tag was far too high. Republican senators backed an amendment put forth by Louisiana Sen. Bill Cassidy in March 2021, which Democrats rejected, that would have blocked prisoners from getting stimulus checks.

“Individuals were not denied Economic Impact Payments solely because they were incarcerated,” the IRS says on its website under a frequently asked questions page about The American Rescue Plan, explaining that inmates may have received funds if they filed a tax return in 2019 and 2020.

It is unclear how many inmates facing the death penalty received stimulus checks.

A spokesman for the IRS told the DCNF the agency “does not track the information related to incarcerated individual’s sentences” and IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig told the Free Beacon he does not have data on the matter.

Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton had raised concerns in 2021 about the fact that under the plan prisoners would receive money, slamming the idea that someone like Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the 2013 Boston Marathon bomber, would get $1,400. Tsarnaev ended up raking in $1,400 in connection to the plan, the Boston Herald reported in January 2022.

“The Democratic Party is drunk with power, and their reckless billions in spending continue to funnel out of the United States Treasury with little to no guidance,” Republican Florida Rep. Byron Donalds told the DCNF upon learning of the IRS payments to prisoners.

The Treasury Department did not respond to a request for comment nor did The White House.

It’s official, maybe: Old Joe Biden has thrown his aviator sunglasses into the ring for the 2024 presidential election. The Independent reported Tuesday that “President Joe Biden has filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission to establish himself as a candidate for re-election in 2024. A ‘Statement of Organization’ submitted to the FEC on Tuesday registered ‘Biden for President’ as the principal campaign committee for candidates Joseph R Biden Jr and Kamala Harris.” As with so very many things coming out of the Biden White House, however, this filing is shrouded in confusion and not nearly as straightforward as the Independent suggests.

Business Insider deputy editor Dave Levinthal said: “This is a change in paperwork — designating a new treasurer — for a presidential campaign committee that already exists. It alone doesn’t indicate anything about whether Biden will or will not run in 2024.” But Patsy Widakuswara, the White House Bureau Chief for VOA News, was definite: “It’s official, President Biden is running again in 2024.” Twitter is roughly evenly divided between those who are saying that Biden has made it official that he is running again in 2024 and those who insist that all he did was change the personnel list in his paperwork. As is so often with the Biden camp, we get botched messaging and mixed signals.

The larger picture, however, is not at all unclear. If Old Joe is at least semi-coherent (i.e., in about the condition he is now) and ambulatory, he will be running again in 2024. Few people seem excited about the prospect of Dumpster Fire II: Old Joe Fails Again, and that’s understandable. The only way the Democrats are going to be able to sell Old Joe again is by saying: “If you keep hitting yourself on the head with a mallet because it feels so good when you stop, just imagine how good it will feel if you stop after eight years instead of just four.”

A whopping 64% of Democrats would prefer someone else, anyone else, please, anyone but Old Joe to be the party’s nominee in 2024, but the party of Jefferson Davis is in a bind: Josef Stalin and Mao Zedong aren’t available, Kamala Harris is a cackling mess, and who else is there? Gavin Newsom, who seems to think “Let Me Ruin America The Way I’ve Ruined California” is a winning slogan? Supermodel Stacey Abrams?

Given the thinness of the Democrat bench, it’s not surprising that Old Joe, who will turn 82 just weeks after election day 2024, thinks he has a shot at reelection. After all, the FBI is solidly in his corner, and they delivered for him once — why can’t they do it again?

Still, with a job approval rating that makes Jimmy Carter look like Franklin Delano Roosevelt, it’s easy to see why Democrat leaders aren’t greeting the prospect of Biden: Still More Malarkey in 2024 with enthusiasm. Even if the FBI does its level best, close elections are the easiest ones to manipulate, and Biden could end up on the short end of a historic blowout in 2024, one that is beyond the reach of even the most resourceful fed to salvage for The Big Guy.

That may be the reason for the ambiguity of today’s announcement, or whatever it is. Biden’s handlers may be treating his sort-of filing to run again in 2024 as a kind of trial balloon, hoping to gauge what kind of reaction it gets and maneuver accordingly. But if anyone was hoping for an outpouring of genuine enthusiasm from anyone beyond Rob Reiner over the prospect of another Biden basement summer campaign, they’re certain to be bitterly disappointed. No one was ever really excited about the prospect of a Biden presidency; he was just in the right place at the right time and took a nomination that the other Democrat heavyweights didn’t want against a president whose reelection prospects looked formidable until the COVID-19 hysteria kicked in.

Biden is, after all, the quintessential Washington insider, selling the same snake oil he has sold for fifty years now, with an ever-lengthening record of lies and failure to show for it. But he has one thing going for him: he appears to be willing to be led by whoever is pulling his strings, as he indicated yet again a few days ago when he said: “I took control. I shouldn’t do that. I’m not allowed to do that.” Other Democrat hopefuls may not be so sanguine about being puppets for the people who are really in charge. It is they who may decide to sign Joe on for another four years.

As if the crisis along the southern border were not bad enough, adult illegal immigrants are posing as minors to enter—and stay in—the U.S. since typically those under 18 are welcomed with open arms. The government refers to them as Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) and hundreds of thousands have entered the country in the last few years. The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is charged with caring for illegal aliens under the age of 18 and the agency spends millions of dollars annually to house, medically treat, entertain, and school UAC who come mainly from Central America. Undoubtedly, illegal immigrant minors are almost always allowed to remain in the U.S. and quickly disbursed to a government-funded shelter upon arrival at the border.

The special treatment has led to even more criminal behavior by those already breaking the law entering the U.S. illegally. In El Paso alone, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) confirms that more than 655 adult migrants posing as minors have been busted in fiscal year 2022. This week the agency announced that the El Paso Sector has recently seen an unusual amount of activity involving adults posing as minors to dodge deportation. In one of the incidents agents identified 10 adults posting as UAC while in custody. CBP has a limited time to transfer UAC to HHS custody once the illegal border crossers are vetted and there begins the journey to stay in the U.S. Bigger criminal enterprises are behind the imposter plots, according to federal authorities. “Transnational Criminal Organizations exploit migrants convincing them to pose as minors in order to be processed as such” said El Paso Sector Border Patrol Chief Gloria I. Chavez. “Identity fraud is a common tactic used by TCOs to take advantage of migrants who do not know the legal consequences of their actions as they attempt to deceive authorities.”

The frontline Homeland Security agency says three adults posing as minors were also discovered recently using counterfeit documentation at the El Paso Sector Central Processing Center in Texas. The illegal immigrants, a 21-year-old female, 22-year-old female and 22-year-old male, are from Guatemala and were part of a group of 13 apprehended by federal agents in the area. “The three were encountered, along with nine unaccompanied children from Guatemala and one adult,” CBP writes in a statement. “These individuals pose as minors in order to avoid expulsion.” In a separate incident this month three males from Guatemala, ages 18, 25 and 26, intentionally posed as minors to remain in the U.S. Federal agents detected discrepancies between their stories and documentation presented in their failed attempt to pass as minors.

In yet another incident made public this month, CBP officers at El Paso’s Ysleta Station, which is responsible for 16.7 miles of international boundary along the Rio Grande River, discovered a group of what appeared to be eight minors later determined to be from Guatemala crossing the border illegally. Two of the illegal immigrants pretending to be underage turned out to be imposters, according to the feds. One was a 22-year-old male and the other a 19-year-old female. As in the other cases, agents, though overwhelmed with an onslaught of illegal immigration, detected discrepancies during interviews. CBP warns that individuals who attempt to pose as unaccompanied children may face charges under American laws that prohibit false statements to federal agents and conspiracy to defraud the U.S.

The last thing the country’s disastrous immigration system needs is more UAC. American taxpayers already spend a fortune to accommodate them through HHS’s Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), which funds and oversees dozens of state-licensed care facilities to house the young migrants when they arrive in the U.S. In fiscal year 2021 ORR housed an unprecedented 122,731 UAC, according to government figures, and this year’s budget is a whopping $8.76 billion. HHS projects that in 2022 it will accommodate approximately 149,000 and between 500 and 600 daily for the remainder of the fiscal year, which ends in September. Last year the overwhelming majority of illegal immigrant minors in U.S. custody, approximately 72%, were over 14 years of age and 66% were male. Nearly half (47%) of the underage migrants came from Guatemala, 32% from Honduras, 13% from El Salvador and 8% from other countries.

We have been warning that subsidizing and mandating the use of green energy and eliminating all fossil fuels is going a wrong and dangerous direction for America.

We have been proven right because of the warm summer of August 2022.

We have argued that using all forms of energy effectively and efficiently provides cheap and reliable power to America’s economy and Americans. This includes the use of nuclear, coal, natural gas, oil, hydroelectric fuels. These sources of cheap and reliable power sources are critical in fueling the American economy, our homes, businesses, farms and our nation.

America is facing a warm summer, which is a naturally occurring cycle. You know: Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring.

A warm summer shouldn’t be a threat to our electrical grid system but it is.

Here’s why. On August 31st, 2022 NPR’s reported,

A long, intense wave of excessive heat is hitting much of the Western United States for the next week.

Across California, temperatures are expected to be more than 10 degrees above normal, warns the organization that manages the flow of much of the state’s electricity.

The California Independent System Operator expects that demand on Labor Day will reach the highest point so far this year, and that it will ask Californians to take energy conservations steps.

“During a Flex Alert, consumers are urged to reduce energy use from 4-9 p.m. when the system is most stressed because demand for electricity remains high and there is less solar energy available,” the organization said. “The top three conservation actions are to set thermostats to 78 degrees or higher, avoid using large appliances and charging electric vehicles, and turn off unnecessary lights.”

Lowering the strain on the grid will help hold off more drastic measures, the organization said, including the possibility of rotating blackouts. [Emphasis added]

Finally, in an Aug 12, 2022 article titled Why Solar Power Is Failing Amid Record-Breaking Heat Felicity Bradstock reported,

With heatwaves being reported worldwide, leading to wildfires and other environmental concerns, at least one energy sector is getting attention for its major producing potential – solar power. But with solar panels collecting energy from the sun’s radiation, the world’s overheating may (unexpectedly) be of little benefit to solar power production.

As the world heats up, people may think that more sun will bring more solar energy, even if it has been negative for many other reasons. But soaring temperatures may be hindering solar power production as solar panels work optimally at around 25oC and start becoming less efficient when the heat goes above this. And even if the heat does not hamper solar production, it is also doing little to help it.

Of course, when there’s sun there’s solar power. But because of the way solar panels work, they become slightly less efficient, by around 0.5 percent, for any degree over or under 25oC. This means that peak production periods in much of the world often happen in cooler spring months rather than during the summer.

Solar power becomes less efficient as the temperature rises. I a heat wave, as is being experienced today in California this inefficiency had lead to Flex Alerts in California. This is expected but something that most people who go green either weren’t told and don’t know are were told and don’t care.

The Congressional Veteran Commendation (CVC) is a nominations-based program designed to recognize the wartime sacrifices and peacetime community involvement of American veterans. Honorees have demonstrated a record of being exceptional Americans both on and off the battlefield.

In Florida’s 16th Congressional District five warriors will be awarded the CVC. Two WWII veterans, a Korean War veteran, two Vietnam War veterans and a Gulf War veteran will be honored.

Senator Marco Rubio’s letter is below. We are glad that he responded to this outrage but wish he had mentioned Hillary Clinton by name as to why FBI didn’t raid her residence when she had confidential work related info on her private server at home.

Our great Governor Ron DeSantis did not hesitate to mention this.

The DOUBLE STANDARD within the DEPARTMENT OF IN-JUSTICE and the FBI is staggering.

LETTER TO FBI DIRECTOR CHRISTOPHER A. WRAY

Dear Director Wray:

Like many Americans, I was outraged to learn of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI’s) unprecedented raid on former President Trump’s residence in Palm Beach, Florida from the media. The FBI’s actions, less than three months from the upcoming elections, are doing more to erode public trust in our government institutions, the electoral process, and the rule of law in the U.S. than the Russian Federation or any other foreign adversary. These values represent the very core of what the United States stands for, and what the FBI is mandated to protect. Yet the FBI raid sows the same division – and exacerbates the same loss of confidence in the U.S. political process – that adversaries like Vladimir Putin go to great lengths to foment.

According to press reports, the August 8, 2022 raid may relate to an ongoing national security investigation regarding compliance with the protection of classified information. No one is above the law, but every American also deserves equal justice under it. The FBI appears to have taken steps related to President Trump that it has never taken with any other former President, and that it has generally failed to take with respect to certain criminal referrals made from elements of the Intelligence Community (IC) to the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) relating to instances where individuals allegedly disclosed classified information without authorization.

As such, I request the answers to the following questions, no later August 17, 2022, as it relates to criminal referrals made by any element of the IC to the DoJ regarding unauthorized disclosure of classified information during the past five years:

  • Of referrals made by other elements of the IC, what percentage of those referrals resulted in the FBI opening preliminary investigations? What percentage of those referrals resulted in full investigations?
  • In what percentage of the referrals did the FBI raid the private residence of the individual in question?
  • Of the referrals made, what percentage of those referrals resulted in a formal filing of criminal charges?

All Americans deserve the right to know why the FBI raided President Trump’s residence, but the law requires that you inform, at a minimum, the leadership of the congressional intelligence committees regarding such activities if the purpose of the raid was related to an investigation regarding the unauthorized disclosure of classified information with intelligence equities.

Therefore, I expect an explanation as to why I, and to the best of my knowledge every other leader of the congressional intelligence committees, first learned of this raid on President Trump’s residence via the media, despite the law requiring the committees to be fully and currently informed of all intelligence activities undertaken by the U.S. Government, including any significant anticipated intelligence activity.

In addition, I request a meeting to understand the FBI’s concerns regarding the handling of classified material in this instance, and to understand why the FBI did not keep the congressional intelligence committee leadership fully and currently informed as the FBI has done in previous sensitive cases.

Thank you for your prompt response to these important issues.

EXCLUSIVE: Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom has been a vocal critic of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, in recent weeks, but Newsom’s in-laws seem to approve of the popular Republican.

According to contribution records on the Friends of Ron DeSantis PAC website, the Siebel Family Revocable Trust made a $5,000 contribution on April 6, 2022.

That trust is run by Kenneth F. Siebel Jr. and Judith A. Siebel, the parents of Newsom’s wife, Jennifer Siebel, records obtained by Fox News Digital show.

Neither the Siebels nor Gov. Newsom’s office immediately responded to Fox News’ requests for comment. The DeSantis campaign declined to comment…..

Gov. Ron DeSantis suggested every lawmaker who voted to pass the Inflation Reduction Act should face mandatory annual audits by the Internal Revenue Service.

Earlier this month, President Joe Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act that included $80 billion to overhaul the IRS, with more than 80,000 new positions largely intended for taxation enforcement.

“I think every member of Congress that voted for that bill should be required to be audited every year by the IRS,” DeSantis said while speaking in Fort Pierce, Florida, Tuesday as those in attendance responded with laughter.

The Republican governor objected to the legislation, saying that it would be used to target those who the “government doesn’t like.”

“Those IRS agents are going to be mobilized to go after people that the government doesn’t like,” DeSantis said. “They’re going to be going after people who are not going to be able to defend themselves against these audits.”

DeSantis also said the Democrats’ touting of taxation enforcement on billionaires is misleading, noting that the wealthy have accountants and lawyers to handle the audits.

The Republican governor previously equated the expansion of the IRS to the Biden administration giving people “the middle finger.”

A new poll from the University of New Hampshire (UNH) has Trump-endorsed candidate Don Bolduc 21 points ahead of Chuck Morse in New Hampshire’s Republican Senate primary.

Bolduc, a retired brigadier general, and an Afghanistan veteran claims former President Donald Trump won the election in 2020. Trump has yet to endorse Bolduc, but the former president has praised the Senate hopeful for his criticisms of Gen. Mark Milley, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

If the primary were held Tuesday, Bolduc would receive 43% of the primary vote, while his opponent Chuck Morse would receive only 22%, according to the UNH poll. The poll, conducted online between Aug. 25 and 29, surveyed 1,993 individuals with a 3.3% margin of error.

Trump-endorsed candidates have seen success in the primary season, with 92% of Trump-endorsed candidates winning their races, according to Ballotpedia.

“Donald Trump is still extremely popular. That’s important to note, but also, what those candidates are doing, whether they’re endorsed by President Trump or not, they’re embracing the America first policies that really improved the lives of all Americans, regardless of race, religion, color, or creed,” former Trump spokesman Hogan Gidley told the Daily Caller News Foundation in August.

It turns out that the FBI used its previously concocted Russia hoax as an excuse to pressure Facebook to censor the factually correct Hunter Biden laptop story, which the New York Post broke.

In an appearance Thursday on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast, Zuckerberg admitted that Facebook suppressed news of the laptop and its contents in the weeks preceding the 2020 presidential election, after FBI agents requested to meet with Zuckerberg’s staff to deliver dire warnings of a supposed dump of Russian election “misinformation.”

Although Zuckerberg said he couldn’t recall whether the FBI agents specifically mentioned the Hunter Biden laptop story in their warning, he said the story “fit the pattern” that concerned the FBI, so he sprang into action and suppressed the story.

Zuckerberg was oddly proud of distinguishing the mere throttling of the laptop story by Facebook (now Meta) from the outright ban of the story by Twitter.

When pressed by Rogan, Zuckerberg wouldn’t admit to the scale of his company’s censorship of the laptop story, other than to say: “Fewer people saw it than otherwise.” Given Facebook’s gargantuan influence, “fewer than otherwise” likely is many millions—and possibly enough to have flipped the election to Donald Trump rather than Joe Biden had the story been allowed to gain steam.

Americans should listen to this episode of ”The Joe Rogan Experience” without forgetting the context in which Facebook took such drastic censorship action. Back in October 2020, Facebook claimed its suppression of the Hunter Biden story was “part of our standard process to reduce misinformation.” Note no mention of the FBI’s involvement.

Either Facebook’s spokesman, Andy Stone, was lying at the time, or the FBI’s involvement was part of Facebook’s “standard process” all along.

This same FBI had access to the abandoned Biden laptop since 2019, well before Zuckerberg and his team received warnings of impending Russian “misinformation” from the FBI. Once Facebook and others moved to squelch the laptop story, why didn’t the FBI go back to them and say that the Constitution protects freedom of the press and free speech, and that agents never intended the suppression of true stories?

Given how hyperpartisan and anti-Trump the FBI has become in recent years, is it possible that the FBI actually had the damning contents of Hunter’s laptop in mind when the agents approached Facebook with their request that the social media giant suppress political speech?

Recall that 51 left-wing former intelligence officials, with no evidence whatsoever, signed a public letter labeling the Hunter Biden laptop story as “classic Russian disinformation” just days before the first presidential debate.

Perhaps it was the FBI that asked its spy friends on the outside to publish the letter, to give the FBI cover for its pressure campaign on companies such as Facebook. Much like the FBI’s selective leaking of the utterly fake “Steele dossier” to justify its deeper involvement in the Russia hoax, we’ve seen this movie before.

The American people, as has become standard, have been kept in the dark. Why in the world didn’t Facebook disclose its cooperation with the FBI in the suppression of speech? Why didn’t the FBI disclose it?

Lawmakers at the federal and state level should establish standards of transparency and conduct for internet platforms and law enforcement agencies that govern the political discourse that influences elections.

Network security expert and hacker Peiter “Mudge” Zatko’s recent whistleblower complaint against Twitter is relevant here too. Zatko revealed the true extent to which at least one massive internet platform fails to protect private data or responsibly moderate the content users see.

Maybe Facebook has more responsible internal controls than Twitter. But, on the other hand, perhaps it has the same questionable routines to which Twitter has fallen victim: not only being subject to foreign influence, but allowing employees unrestricted access to edit users’ content.

Again, Americans don’t know, because our laws have left the people blind to understanding how unaccountable tech oligarchs govern platforms so central to daily life.

There is a need for baseline standard operating procedures for how digital platforms adjudicate their content decisions. And with these minimum standards should come absolute transparency, available in real-time.

No private right of action exists to get the 2020 election back. Voters in Ohio and Pennsylvania can’t recast their ballots, nor seek damages for how Facebook manipulated the truth in October 2020. The rule of law cannot preserve Americans’ fast-eroding trust in the institutions that keep our civil society stable.

No recourse exists for such critical, timely issues of political speech in the digital age. The people’s representatives should establish and enforce rules of the road that prevent another instance in which Big Tech secretly takes the initiative to influence American elections at the behest of the FBI.

Both Big Tech and Big Surveillance (i.e. the FBI) need to be brought to heel.

The most damning sound bite from Zuckerberg’s interview came after Rogan asked whether he regretted blocking the truth.

Zuckerberg responded: “It sucks … I think in the same way that having to go through a criminal trial but being proven innocent in the end sucks … in the end, you’re free.”

This faux apology entirely misses the point. Yes, the truth came out eventually, but only after the FBI’s and Big Tech’s election meddling was done.

Combine Zuckerberg’s revelation with the Russia hoax, the Hillary Clinton emails, and the FBI’s shocking raid on Trump’s private residence, and one gets the feeling that our once-trusted private and public organizations are crumbling and in dire need of reform, by force of law.

This commentary was modified shortly after publication to specify that Zuckerberg told Rogan that he couldn’t recall whether the FBI specifically mentioned the Hunter Biden laptop story in warning Facebook about imminent Russian “misinformation.”
