TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Jan. 30, 2023) — Today, House Speaker Paul Renner (R-Palm Coast) unveiled House Bill 543 to ensure that Floridians can exercise their Second Amendment rights without government interference. HB 543 will eliminate the need for a concealed weapons license (CWL) in the state of Florida. Constitutional carry allows Floridians who are currently qualified to obtain and maintain a CWL to carry a concealed handgun or weapon without a license.

“Floridians shouldn’t need a government permission slip to exercise their constitutional rights,” said Speaker Renner. “House Bill 543 will ensure Florida will remain a beacon of freedom. Florida was the pioneer in the modern carry movement in America and this historic legislation continues our proud tradition.”

“Through their service at home and abroad, Speaker Renner and Senator Collins have sacrificed to protect our constitutional rights,” said Senate President Kathleen Passidomo (R-Naples). “I stand with these brave warriors, with our law enforcement leaders, and with law-abiding Floridians across this state who should not have to ask the government for permission to protect themselves.”

Bill sponsor and Chair of the Justice Appropriations Subcommittee, Representative Chuck Brannan (R-Macclenny) added, “As a retired chief investigator with the Baker County Sheriff’s office, former Deputy U.S. Marshal, and gun owner, I filed this bill because I believe all Floridians have the right to bear arms to protect themselves, their families, and their property without any government interference.”

“Our Constitution protects gun ownership rights and the ability to carry a firearm,” said Hernando County Sheriff and Florida Sheriffs Association President Al Nienhuis. “Violent career criminals are not applying for a state permit to carry a gun. Removing the permitting process will assist our law-abiding citizens with the protections they need to defend themselves and their families from those criminals who intend to do them harm. The Florida Sheriffs Association supports constitutional permitless carry, and we look forward to working with Governor DeSantis and the Legislature on this issue.”

A person carrying concealed without a license will still be required to obey existing laws prohibiting carrying in such places as schools, athletic events, and correctional facilities. The bill does not affect laws relating to the purchase of a firearm and will not allow anyone prohibited from possessing a firearm to carry concealed.

Democratic New York Rep. Jerry Nadler shut down Republican Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz’s request to recite the Pledge of Allegiance before the House Judiciary Committee during a Wednesday hearing.

During the first Judiciary hearing with the new GOP-led Congress, Gaetz put forward an amendment to recite the Pledge of Allegiance at the start of each hearing, to which Nadler responded, saying, “I would oppose it simply on the grounds that, as members know, we pledge allegiance every day on the floor and I don’t know why we should pledge allegiance twice in the same day, to show how patriotic we are.” Gaetz mentioned he thought it would be a unifying and patriotic act.

Gaetz responded to Nadler’s opposition exclusively to the Daily Caller, saying, “Standing for the American flag isn’t controversial. Reciting the Pledge of Allegiance isn’t a waste of time. Democrats are so outraged at the idea of a daily dose of patriotism that they spent 30 minutes ranting and raving in opposition. Congress cannot expect the American people to believe they are fighting for their values when they don’t even care to recite the Pledge of Allegiance.”

“It’s absurd that Democrats on the committee don’t even want to say the pledge of allegiance. You would think it would be a simple request – not so for the Judiciary Democrats, who almost seemed allergic to reciting the pledge,” Republican North Carolina Rep. Dan Bishop told the Daily Caller.

In 2021, House Judiciary Democrats appeared to make fun of Gaetz’s request to have the committee recite the Pledge of Allegiance at the beginning of hearings on a hot mic.

At the time, the Daily Caller obtained a video file from the hearing which included audio of a group of Democrats joking about Republicans’ request to have the Pledge of Allegiance recited before committee hearings. In the video, Tennessee Democratic Rep. Steve Cohen and an unidentified House Democrat can be heard appearing to joke about the request. They were reminded by a staffer that their microphones were hot, according to the audio.

The Caller contacted Nadler’s office about his opposition to Gaetz’s move to say the Pledge of Allegiance before Judiciary Committee meetings, to which they did not immediately respond.

Utah Enacts Law with ‘Massive Loopholes’ for Minors Seeking Gender Transition Procedures

If the point was grabbing headlines, Utah’s SB 16 has done the trick. More than a dozen outlets, from Fox News to Newsweek to CNN, described the bill Utah Governor Spencer Cox (R) signed Saturday as a “ban” on “gender-affirming” procedures for minors. Unfortunately, the bill no more banned ideological experiments on children than cross-sex hormones are “gender-affirming.”

The bill imposed a “moratorium” on “hormonal transgender treatment to a patient who: (a) is a minor … and (b) is not diagnosed with gender dysphoria before the effective date of this bill.” But the moratorium will only last until the state Department of Health and Human Services conducts a “systematic medical evidence review,” the purpose of which “is to provide the Legislature with recommendations to consider when deciding whether to lift the moratorium.” The Health Department must submit its completed report to the legislature’s Health and Human Services Committee, which is chaired by the bill’s sponsor.

It’s unclear how long the moratorium will remain in effect. A sunset provision in an earlier bill draft would have repealed both the evidence review and the moratorium in four years (on June 1, 2027), but it was stripped out by a voice vote on the House floor. The final version of the bill contains no timeline or end date for the evidence review; it could last for four years, or it could be done in less than four months. Once the evidence review concludes, the legislature will be free to replace the moratorium with the Health Department’s recommendation — which will likely permit gender transition procedures on minors.

The study will likely reach a pro-transition procedure conclusion because the Utah Health Department will conduct it “in consultation with” three state licensing agencies, the University of Utah, and a Utah hospital system. Even in deeply conservative regions, universities and hospital systems are often deeply invested in lucrative gender-transition procedures. The University of Utah also prescribes gender transition hormones to adolescents. “You don’t want people who stand to make money off of transitioning kids in charge of determining that this is a safe procedure,” Joseph Backholm, FRC’s senior fellow for Biblical Worldview and Strategic Engagement, who has testified on SAFE Act-style bills before multiple state legislatures, told The Washington Stand.

Utah’s state agencies also support gender transition. During the period of the review, one involved agency, the Utah Division of Professional Licensing, will also be issuing “transgender treatment certifications” — essentially approving gender transition treatments for minors.

The Utah Health Department will find no difficulty in tipping the review towards the politically desirable outcome because “so much of the research is politicized,” said Backholm. A peer reviewed study published this month found that two studies which represent “the best available evidence for the practice of youth medical gender transition” are “methodologically flawed and should have never been used in medical settings as justification.” With the research playing to their bias, the Utah Health Department will find steering a scientific review towards their desired outcome to be easier than stealing futures from a child — which is exactly what they’re doing.

Even while the moratorium remains in effect, it won’t protect Utah minors from gender transition procedures. “Written into the law is a loophole so big that anyone who wants to get through it can,” Backholm told TWS. The law prohibits gender transition “surgeries and hormone treatments only until a minor is diagnosed with gender dysphoria,” Backholm explained. “These days, that is a very low bar.” All it takes is an “activist psychiatrist” willing to say that a minor has gender dysphoria, he said, and “everyone knows, ‘Hey, that’s the doctor you’re looking for.’”

Backholm compared the diagnosis exception to an abortion law with an exceptions for the “health of the mother.” Such a term is usually defined broadly to include mental health, which could include any form of stress, which telescopes the exception out to cover just about anything, he explained.

Nearly a quarter of the bill’s length is devoted to building an infrastructure to regulate the ongoing administration of gender transition procedures for minors. The bill directs the Utah Division of Professional Licensing to “create a transgender treatment certification” by July 1. It requires mental health professionals wishing to obtain this certification to complete “40 hours of education related to transgender health care for minors from an approved organization.” That requires the state to approve an organization with staff and curriculum providing training on transgender treatment of minors. It provides a system for individuals to renew their transgender treatment certification at the same time they renew their license to practice. Creating these new procedures hardly sounds like Utah intends to pause all gender transition procedures.

Utah established further transgender infrastructure via detailed treatment guidelines. To provide “hormonal transgender treatment” to a minor, a provider must first treat the minor “for gender dysphoria for at least six months,” including at least three sessions. The provider must “determine if the minor has other physical or mental health conditions” and consider whether “an alternative medical treatment … would provide the minor the best long-term outcome” (with the right activist, that answer is an automatic “no”). The provider must discuss risks, expectations, medical information, and “possible adverse outcomes” with the minor and his or her parents, and then obtain their consent. The provider must “document” this information “in the medical record.” Finally, the provider must obtain a mental health evaluation from a second credentialed provider — that is, from a second individual, who could work out of the same hospital or clinic. Far from obstructing gender transition procedures for minors, Utah Republicans seem to have merely regulated them.

The Utah legislature’s inaction appears more scandalous in light of the medical disclosures they require. Puberty blockers “are not approved by the FDA for the treatment of gender dysphoria,” people must say, who are prescribing them to minors for that very purpose. Not only that, but “possible adverse outcomes of puberty blockers are known to include diminished bone density, pseudotumor cerebri, and long term adult sexual dysfunction.” Oh, and there’s no “research on the long-term risks to children,” nor do we know “the full effects of puberty blockers on brain development and cognition.” That’s written into the law.

The medical disclosure for cross-sex hormones unveiled even graver consequences. For males, the risks can “include blood clots, gallstones, coronary artery disease, heart attacks, tumors of the pituitary gland, strokes, elevated levels of triglycerides in the blood, breast cancer, and irreversible infertility.” For females, the risks can include “erythrocytosis [a blood disorder], severe liver dysfunction, coronary artery disease, hypertension, and increased risk of breast and uterine cancers.” What is this, a commercial during a PGA tournament?

Somehow, Utah legislators acknowledged all these risks and concluded that it was fine for children to be exposed to them — so long as a couple of doctors filled out some forms and checked some boxes.

“This bill is politics,” said Backholm. “These legislators certainly heard from parents who are concerned about how this will affect children. [The legislators] want to tell the parents that they protected kids, but left a massive loophole written in the law. Politicians do this all the time.”

Utah’s feint against gender transition procedures stands in sharp contrast to bills introduced in other states, said Backholm, which say, physicians “may not do [gender transition procedures] under any circumstances.”

Backholm was concerned that other states would use Utah as an example simply because they got a good press cycle. “I am concerned that other states will see this as a way to quickly dismiss the issue, so they can tell the uninformed that they protected kids, without actually protecting kids.” Such a compromise is unacceptable.

Backholm said he is “inherently suspicious of Utah because they have mastered the art of compromise.” He said Utah moderates sold out conservatives by inventing the policy surrender known Fairness for All.

Governor Cox’s record is far from conservative on gender identity issues. In 2022, he vetoed a bill to protect women’s sports before the legislature overrode his veto. Yet Cox was willing to sign this bill on gender transition procedures. He described the weak measure as a “nuanced and thoughtful” strategic pause “as we work to better understand the science and consequences behind these procedures.”

“More and more experts, states, and countries around the world are pausing these permanent and life-altering treatments for new patients until more and better research can help determine the long-term consequences,” Cox said.

The question is, when will Utah?

Meet the Pro-Life Family Merrick Garland Tried to Rip Apart

“I’m George Bailey today,” were among the first words spoken by Mark Houck in the moments following his acquittal on Monday. The pro-life husband and father of seven had been subjected to months of torturous waiting under a looming prosecution by the Biden administration that could have resulted in a sentence of 11 years in federal prison. While the Department of Justice claimed that Houck had violated the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act outside of a Philadelphia Planned Parenthood, the Houck family and its faithful allies knew the Biden administration’s politically-motivated narrative was a far cry from the truth.

Houck was accused of pushing 72-year-old Bruce Love, an abortion facility escort, to the ground. Houck’s attorneys notified the DOJ that, though there was no legal foundation for a FACE Act charge, Houck would appear voluntarily if summoned. Rather than accept this responsible offer, Merrick Garland’s DOJ saw fit to arrest Houck in the most humiliating and traumatizing manner possible — by 25 federal agents, at gunpoint, in the early hours of the morning, in front of his terrified wife and crying small children, who will no doubt bear the psychological repercussions of this incident for years to come.

No objective observer could doubt the intentions behind the theatrical arrest of Mark Houck: Attorney General Merrick Garland and the Biden administration’s DOJ intended to make an example of the pro-life activist, no matter the cost to his life or family.

Unfortunately for the rabid abortion extremist in the Oval Office and his shameless henchman at the DOJ, the case against Houck rested on sinking sand. Houck’s attorneys with the Thomas More Society handily proved that the FACE Act did not apply in Houck’s case. Bruce Love had a proven history of such acts of aggression; the pro-life father was merely defending his son after Love aggressively harassed the 12-year-old boy with profanities while the father and son prayed together, far away from the entrance of the abortion facility.

After days of waiting, the jury pushed past deadlock to deliver a verdict: Mark Houck was not guilty of violating the FACE Act. Despite every effort from the federal government to paint Houck as a violent pro-life radical, the jury had seen the truth — Houck was not aggressing against an “enemy” for his beliefs about abortion. He was protecting his terrified child from an immanent threat, as any good father would do.

The Houck family’s prayerful defense against the oppression of an abortion-obsessed federal government is truly commendable. Houck’s 12-year-old son, whom Mark emotionally called the “star witness,” courageously took the stand during the trial to defend his father, truthfully setting straight the facts that adults had attempted to manipulate. May we all praise the Lord for empowering the Houck family to set an example for all pro-lifers who find themselves as the David facing down the Goliath of the abortion industry.

We must not forget, however, that, while God used for good that which men intended for evil, the suffering of the Houck family since Mark’s arrest in September 2022 was a needless perversion of the law to serve the Biden administration’s radical love of abortion. The DOJ has unquestionably been weaponized against the pro-life movement, even in the face of absurdly disproportionate violence against pro-life organizations, property, and people. Family Research Council has tracked at least 124 instances of such pro-abortion violence, harassment, destruction of property, and vandalism. So far, the DOJ has brought charges against only two pro-abortion activists under the FACE Act, compared to 26 pro-lifers.

Congressman Chip Roy (R-Texas) has previously stated in reference to the Houck case, “Attorney General Merrick Garland oversees an increasingly politicized FBI that seems hell-bent on making examples of average American citizens who don’t align politically with the administration. … Congress owes the American people transparent accountability for any and all wrongdoing by the FBI and Garland’s DOJ.” Garland has faced calls for impeachment on multipleoccasions.

The outcome of Mark Houck’s trial is a monumental victory for pro-lifers across the country, countless of whom regularly pray and sidewalk counsel outside of abortion facilities in hopes of sparing mothers and their children from the violence of abortion. However, Houck’s case should never have made it to trial in the first place. American citizens, regardless of their personal convictions and religious beliefs, should not be harassed or made examples of based on the radical whims of the federal government. The Biden administration’s abortion radicalism has gone too far — it is high time for accountability that brings justice for pro-life Americans.

As for Mark Houck, the pro-life movement’s George Bailey, no schemes of abortion radicals will keep him from sharing with moms and their unborn babies that it truly is a wonderful life.

The House could vote as early as today on whether to remove Congresswoman Ilhan Omar from the Foreign Affairs Committee.  The stated reason is that she cannot be an objective decisionmaker in foreign affairs given her anti-Semitism and her bias against Israel.   Omar doesn’t defend on the merits, as far as I can see from news accounts, but instead claims she is the victim of Islamophobia.  I checked her official website.  There’s nothing on there addressing her bias against Israel, so playing the Islamophobia card is her whole case.

Sorry, Representative Omar, not good enough, not even close.  The main voice for Islam in America – the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) recently came out with a statement that accusations of ‘Islamophobia’ require proof of bigoted intent.  CAIR said people should not be lightly accused of ‘Islamophobia’ without evidence they are bigots.  CAIR confirmed this position in a press release.

Where’s your proof, Representative Omar, that everyone who is set to vote against you today harbors bigoted intent?  Where’s your proof this is about bigoted intent and not your inability to be impartial toward an important U.S. ally, Israel?  She has no proof, so her claims of ‘Islamophobia’ can be thrown in the trash where they belong.

It’s not surprising she’s playing the ‘Islamophobia’ card on this.  She has a one-track mind about Islamophobia.  She sponsored a bill to monitor and combat Islamophobia that passed the House in 2021.  The bill did not attempt to define ‘Islamophobia’, but that’s where the rub is.

CAIR is currently promoting a bill in New Jersey that would define ‘Islamophobia’ for purposes of establishing intent for hate crimes or violations of any anti-discrimination law, policy, or regulation.  It’s a bad idea, starting with the free speech problems it would create.  An anti-sharia activist I know wrote a letter to a New Jersey state senator stating, among other things:

This legislation would criminalize University cultural studies, political science, and criminal justice studies textbooks, discussions, research papers, theses, and dissertations. For example, see page 11, 38, and 93 of the attached text for World View discussions that would run afoul of Para 11 and 13….This legislation criminalizes scholarship and public debate.

Shutting down free speech is not the only problem with going after ‘Islamophobia’.   Defining ‘Islamophobia’ was under consideration in Britain, but the government recently abandoned the attempt.  B’nai Brith points out the problems with trying to define the term:  “The group says the broad definition could lead to students or staff being punished for expressing dislike for the Republic of Iran’s persecution of LGBTQ people or restrictions placed on women in Saudi Arabia.”   British government officials said defining the term would also hamper counterterrorism operations and stoke community tensions.  New Jersey lawmakers should reject the attempt in their state that would only serve to shield human rights abuses.

And members of Congress should reject Ilhan Omar’s Islamophobia bill, should she offer it again, for the same reasons.

I have another problem with Ilhan Omar.  She is the one who famously dismissed 9/11 as merely “some people did something.”  Until she owns up to the fact this was an Islamic jihad attack, carried out under standard Islamic doctrine found in the Quran, and squarely condemns the attack for killing 3,000 people, she should not be serving on ANY congressional committee.  In fact, she shouldn’t be in Congress at all.

Can the new House GOP majority do anything? Even something as simple as booting Rep. Ilhan Omar off the House Foreign Affairs Committee, where she belongs as much as I belong on Al Qaeda’s councils, can’t proceed because some House Republicans are protecting her.

Why would protect Miss “Some People Did Something?”

Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.) on Friday joined a group of House Republicans opposed to kicking Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) off the Foreign Affairs Committee, putting the high-profile effort dangerously close to failing.

Buck, a member of the right-wing Freedom Caucus, told NBC News’ Chuck Todd he is against Republicans removing Democrats like Omar from their committees.

Buck is the third House Republican to say they oppose removing Omar, along with Reps. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) and Victoria Spartz (R-Ind.).

“I think that we should not engage in this tit-for-tat,” Buck said.

Not engaging in tit-for-tat, better known as not fighting back, has worked brilliantly for Republicans thus far.

So what’s the plan to dissuade Democrats from doing this when they’re next in the majority? Scold them by emphasizing that Republicans will not lower themselves to engaging in any tit-for-tat. Do anything you like to us, but we will not respond with tit-for-tat.

After saying he’s opposed to Omar’s removal, Buck added: “I have a little bit less certainty about Congressman Schiff and Swalwell on Intelligence just because it’s a little bit different than a regular committee. But I’m going to think through that and make a decision.”

Deep thoughts are needed.

Rep. David Joyce (R-Ohio), the chair of the moderate Republican Governance Group, told Axios on Tuesday that Omar “should at least be given the opportunity to defend her prior statements” on the House floor.

“I haven’t taken a position on it because I haven’t seen a case against her, but I think she’s entitled to due process and she should be able to make her case on why she shouldn’t be [removed].”

“I don’t think tit for tat is necessary here,” said Rep. Andy Barr (R-Ky.). “We should be better than what the Democrats were.”

Dis someone send out a tit-for-tat memo?

The emerging consensus is that Republicans were elected to be “better” than Democrats by surrendering to them. It’s worked brilliantly for generations. Bound to work again now.

Several members of the Texas legislature sent a letter to every school district in the state asking them to immediately leave the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB).

Texas state Representatives, led by GOP Rep. Brian Harrison, are asking school districts to leave the TASB, claiming recent decisions the association made regarding school board protests and transgender students prove to Texas parents that the TASB “work[s] against their values and potentially place[s] their children in harm’s way,” according to the letter shared exclusively with the Daily Caller.

The nine signatories — GOP Reps. Brian Harrison, Briscoe Cain, Richard Hayes, Terri Leo-Wilson, Matt Schaefer, Nate Schatzline, Bryan Slaton, Mark Dorazio and Tony Tinderholt — said that although they “appreciate” that TASB left the National School Boards Association in May 2022, the amount of time the decision took to make was troubling.

“We were shocked last year that it took the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) almost an entire year to leave the National School Boards Association (NSBA) after it sent an indefensible letter equating parental involvement at school board meetings to ‘heinous actions’ which ‘could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism’ and called on federal law enforcement to potentially target parents,” the letter stated.

The Texas lawmakers also took issue with TASB’s “radically pro-transgender” guidance released in January, which they claim undermines parental rights and violates Texas law.

“This dangerous legal advisory appears to encourage school districts to refrain from reporting child abuse and to obscure information regarding children exhibiting gender dysphoria from their parents,” the letter stated. “In the guidance, TASB also may be encouraging schools to violate Texas’s recent law, the ‘Save Girls’ Sports Act,’ and allow biological males to participate in girls’ sports. We feel duty bound to make sure all elected officials charged with overseeing the education of Texas student[s] are aware of this.”

Harrison told the Daily Caller that Texas parents shouldn’t be responsible for funding “woke ideology” with their tax dollars.

“It’s bad enough that harmful woke ideology is being pushed on Texas students over the objection of their parents, but worse that local elected officials are forcing those same parents to fund it with their tax dollars,” Harrison told the Caller. “That must end. I appreciate my colleagues joining me in fighting to stop the continued weaponization of our constituents’ tax dollars against them.”

Texas school districts are not required to be part of TASB or any school board organization. The representatives have directed their offices to help provide school districts with alternatives for the services TASB currently handles.

The Bolshevists were a far-left, revolutionary Marxist faction founded by Vladimir Lenin that split with the Mensheviks from the Marxist Russian Social Democratic Labor Party, a revolutionary socialist political party formed in 1898.  In 1917, two Revolutions occurred in the Russian Empire.  The first overthrew the imperial monarchy and the second placed the Bolsheviks in power following a bloody civil war.

Fascism dominated many parts of Europe between 1919 and 1945.  NAZI means National Socialist German Worker’s Party.  Nazis are not right wingers, they are far leftists, but calling them far-right persists because of fools and amateurs who wish to label anyone right of center as a fascist.  They did this to Donald Trump, and fraudulent as it was, the repetitious lie took hold.  (Shades of Joseph Goebbels) Trump is many things, but fascist is not one of them.

Lenin, Stalin, Hitler and Mao were unrivaled in murdering their own people and the people of Europe, albeit there were others who were just as cruel and deliberate in their extinction of millions.  Would 100 million people be a close figure of the murdered?  Perhaps, but I’d bet it’s far more.

Now there are worldwide totalitarians eager to enslave the survivors of their latest depopulation slaughter.  The annihilation of God’s creation has always been the goal of those possessed by evil. Their excuse has always been that the population would overrun the food production.  However, advances throughout time have proven this false.  The goals today are both depopulation and food scarcity, and they’re seeing to both in order to make their aspirations and predictions come true.

World Economic Forum

There is no normalcy within those who are drawn to world conquest and world revolution.  Sympathizers are drawn to the ordinary members, building their ranks.  Think of those in the Republican Party who are members of the World Economic Forum.  Want me to name a few?  Elise Stefanik, Dan Crenshaw, Darrell Issa, Debra Fischer, Eric Holcomb, Michael McCaul, Pat Toomey, Roger Wicker and more.  Kevin McCarthy, who never should have been made Speaker, attends every WEF meeting and has had dinner with Klaus Schwab.  Numerous Stalinist Democrat Party politicians are also WEF members.  They are traitors to their country and traitors to their oaths of office.

Schwab and his top advisor, Yuval Noah Harari, are the two men who are now leading the nation states into their world of complete dystopian domination over the masses.  They’ve infiltrated every government and succeeded in bringing government leaders into the WEF fold.  The Malthusian economics of Schwab and Harari are straight out of Maurice Strong’s depopulation playbook. Strong, father of global warming and United Nations Agenda 21, arguably the most significant and most secretive plan for global transformation, was Klaus Schwab’s friend and mentor.

Sustainability and smart growth cities are everywhere in the U.S. now.  But there are bigger plans.  American Billionaire Marc Lore has set out to build a city of the future that embodies equity, diversity, and inclusion. Telosa City is planned to be built in a dessert region of USA, likely Utah, and it is estimated to cost $400 billion.  Yep, same old plan, pack us all into an urban area to live together in what they believe is utopia. In this article, Mastering the Future: The Megalomaniacal Ambitions of the WEF, Michael Rectenwald writes, “Lest we imagine that the WEF and its meetings merely represent the grandiose delusions of some ineffectual clowns, it should be noted that the WEF’s ‘stakeholder capitalism’—introduced in 1971 by Klaus Schwab, the WEF founder and chair, in Modern Enterprise Management in Mechanical Engineering—has been embraced by the UN, by most central banks, as well as by the world’s leading corporations, commercial banks, and asset managers. Stakeholder capitalism is now considered to be the modus operandi of the world economic system.”

Agriculture, climate change, sustainability, the food crisis, water supplies, economic crises, natural disasters, viruses and everything else Strong laid out in his UN Agenda 21 tome are part of the WEF plan for dominance over the world and her people.

Rectenwald ends his article with this statement, “In short, with the Davos agenda, we are confronted with a concerted, coordinat­ed campaign to dismantle the productive capabil­ities in energy, manufacturing, and farming. This project, driven by elites and accruing to their benefit, is amounting to the largest Great Leap Backward in recorded history. If it is not stopped and reversed, it will lead to economic disaster, including dramatical­ly reduced consumption and living standards. And it will almost certainly result in more hunger in the developed world and famines in the developing world. WEF chairman Schwab may out­do Chairman Mao. If we let him.”

Those who sit on the board of this towering tyrannical abomination and what they have planned for us are the same players who have been at it for decades.

The Nazi Party Plan

The history of the Nazi Party can be told in terms of new formations within the movement, each becoming more vicious and cruel. Think about the New World Order, which became United Nations Agenda 21/30 and now has become the Great Reset. All the goals are the same, but changing the names for different generations keeps the people from understanding that whatever the moniker, we are facing the same diabolical evil and with each change, the genocidal maniacs grow more maniacal.  Mix in the tenets of Marxism and fascism and you’ll have a clear picture of what humanity is facing.

Hannah Arendt explains in her book, The Origins of Totalitarianism, page 368:

“Another advantage of the totalitarian pattern is that it can be repeated indefinitely and keeps the organization in a state of fluidity which permits it constantly to include new layers and define new degrees of militancy.

Each more militant than the last; first came the Shock Troops, then the Death Head units (guard units for the concentration camps) which later merged to form the Waffen-SS, finally the executive arm of the “negative population policy” and their office of questions of Race and Resettlement.  Soldiers of Destruction – SS Death Head Division, written by Charles Sydnor, Jr., gives the reader a clear picture of the atrocities and evil perpetrated by the Death Head Division.

Worldwide evil confronts us with another new title and menace, and this time, the majority of governments are in on it, including the United States.

So is Ukraine’s Zelensky.

Prior to becoming President of Ukraine, Zelensky was a comedian.  He is shown in a video wearing high heels and doing an erotic gay dance with three other men.  And in case you’ve forgotten this, here is Volodymyr Zelensky with a friend, pretending he is playing the piano with his penis.

Presidential material?  I think not.

Jim Hoft of The Gateway Pundit recently reported, Ukrainian Officials Blew $100 Billion in US Uniparty Dollars on Sports Cars, Mansions, Luxury Vacations, etc. Our tax dollars at work.  Actually, it’s worthless paper with no backing whatsoever.  So our illegitimate president feels he can just keep printing worthless dollars and Americans will pay with exorbitant inflation.

America has sent over $100 billion to Ukraine, as well as tons of military equipment through Biden’s revival of WWII’s Lend Lease Act.  During WWII, Marxist Harry Hopkins, referred to as the co-president of FDR, lived in the Lincoln bedroom of the White House.  He was in charge of the Lend Lease program to Russia.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock bluntly stated in fresh remarks that Western allies are fighting a war against Russia.  America and Germany said they would send tanks to Ukraine; Germany is also sending three B2 bombers.

In December, Volodymyr Zelensky became the first foreign wartime leader since Winston Churchill in December 1942 to address a joint session of the US Congress.  At least Sir Winston showed up in a suit, Zelensky wore his sweats.  Perhaps he doesn’t own a suit, since he showed up for his speech at Davos in a tee shirt.  Pelosi bestowed a kiss on the fascist’s cheek.

Ukraine has replaced COVID.  It is a country of fascist corruption and the Bidens and his buddies, including Republicans, are taking home the spoils.

Retirees from Ukraine who arrived in the U.S. after the outbreak of full-scale war will be able to receive the government’s Supplemental Security Income (SSI) pension. This was reported by the Office of Refugee Resettlement of the US Department of Health and Human Services. SSI is a government pension paid to low-income people over age 65 and people with disabilities.  Link

The fascist Azov Battalion was immediately put into Ukraine’s Army by Zelensky. In fact, he stated same in his interview some time back on Fox, but his statement was removed.  Apparently the media doesn’t want us to know that we’re funding direct descendants of Hitler’s Nazis to fight with Russia.

Zelensky is a member of WEF, and Ukraine already has a form of the social credit system. It was reported last year that he had followed China and combined government and business surveillance of citizens that gives citizens a “score” that can restrict the ability of individuals to take actions — such as purchasing plane tickets, acquiring property or taking loans — because of behaviors.  This is in the works to operate in America.

Our privacy is a thing of the past, the fourth amendment is shot to hell along with the first, and the second is a prime target.  The Bill of Rights is in tatters, but then of course, the newest judicial nominee by Biden, couldn’t name even one of our ten God-given Bill of rights.  Duh!

Putin’s Russia

Back in late August of 2022, Russia had detected more than 50 US-run biolabs near its borders, and it planned to present the evidence to the UN Office in Geneva in early September.

Remember Victoria Nuland?  She was the Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs and testified before a Senate Foreign Relation Committee hearing on Ukraine on March 08, 2022 in Washington, DC.  She stated, “Ukraine has ‘biological research facilities,’ worried Russia may seize them.”

The Pentagon admitted on Thursday, June 9th, 2022 that it has operated 46 biolabs in Ukraine handling dangerous pathogens, after previously dismissing the charges as Russian propaganda.

Maybe…

On September 22, 2022, Konstantin Kosachev, deputy speaker of the Federation Council said the Pentagon-run biolabs in Ukraine are pursuing military goals, proven by irrefutable evidence.

Putin is neither happy with those DoD bioweapons near his border, nor the fact that Zelensky wanted to join NATO who commits members to come to each other’s defense.

Vladimir Putin is no Zelensky.

On June 23, 2007, Der Spiegel published an interview with Alexandre Solzhenitsyn.  Alexandre had been offered a prize by Gorbachev in the past and then a prize by Yeltsin.  Both were turned down.  But when he was offered a prize by Vladimir Putin, he accepted.  Here is what he stated in that interview:

In accepting the award, I expressed the hope that the bitter Russian experience, which I have been studying and describing all my life, will be for us a lesson that keeps us from new disastrous breakdowns.

Vladimir Putin – yes, he was an officer of the intelligence services, but he was not a KGB investigator, nor was he the head of a camp in the gulag. As for service in foreign intelligence, that is not a negative in any country – sometimes it even draws praise. George Bush Sr. was not much criticized for being the ex-head of the CIA, for example.

Before Alexandre Solzhenitsyn died, Putin met with him and Solzhenitsyn told Putin what needed to be changed, more local control, less central control.

The Russian leader listened. Solzhenitsyn died on August 3, 2008; a few months short of his 90th birthday. Only two weeks later, it was announced that Moscow’s Great Communist Street (ulitsa Bolshaya Kommunisticheskaya) was to be re-named “Alexander Solzhenitsyn Street,” an honor bestowed by personal decree from President Putin.

Joseph Pearce writes the following in his article Solzhenitsyn and Putin:

In October 2010, it was announced that The Gulag Archipelago would become required reading for all Russian high school students. In a meeting with Solzhenitsyn’s widow, Putin described The Gulag Archipelago as “essential reading.” “Without the knowledge of that book, we would lack a full understanding of our country and it would be difficult for us to think about the future.”

What more need be said? In Vladimir Putin’s Russia, the greatest classic of anti-communist literature is now compulsory reading in all the high schools of the nation. If the same could be said of the high schools of the United States, we would not have the endemic historical and political ignorance that has led to the widespread sympathy for communism among young Americans. In the light of this, and in the light of Putin’s evident admiration for Solzhenitsyn, let’s not try to pretend that Russia is a communist nation. We don’t need to like Vladimir Putin. We don’t need to admire him. But we do need to acknowledge that Russia has moved on from the evils of socialism, even as we are in danger of embracing those very same evils.

And yet, our communist/fascist American politicians want to make him the enemy when we’re massively funding the real adversary.

In the newly-released trailer for his Disney-produced Hulu docuseries Killing County, former NFL player and notorious anthem-kneeler Colin Kaepernick once again trashes law enforcement.

Killing County, set to debut February 3, focuses on crime as well as officer-involved killings in the city of Bakersfield, California. Kaepernick describes the docuseries “one of the most powerful projects I’ve ever been involved with,” later adding in a tweet that it is a “true crime thriller set in Kevin McCarthy’s district.”

Unidentified voices in the trailer intone ominously about “the deadliest law enforcement in the country per capita” and “highest rate of officer-involved deaths anywhere in the country.”

Killing County was produced by the unemployable ex-athlete’s production company, Kaepernick Media, as well as woke Disney’s ABC News Studio.

The multi-millionaire Kaepernick signed with left-wing mega-talent agency CAA this week, a move that Breitbart News notes “will add jet fuel to his burgeoning Hollywood career that already includes the Netflix series Colin in Black and White.”

Comparing the NFL Scouting Combine to a Slave Auction

In an October 2021 episode of the Netflix documentary series about Kaepernick’s life, Colin In Black & White, Kaepernick condemned the NFL Scouting Combine — an annual, week-long showcase where college football players, in advance of the NFL draft, perform physical and mental tests in front of National Football League coaches, general managers, and scouts. In his discussion of this tradition, Kaepernick complained that the young prospects at the Combine were routinely “poked, prodded, and examined” for defects, likening the process to a mid-1800s slave auction where white landowners examined slaves before purchasing them. Kaepernick stated that this was how the NFL scouts sought to establish a “power dynamic.” That particular scene of the documentary closed by portraying an NFL coach shaking hands with a slave auctioneer against the backdrop of bonded slaves — implying that modern-day professional athletes are exploited in much the same way as were the black slaves of yesteryear.

Following the tragic death of Tyre Nichols during a January 7 traffic stop by officers of the Memphis Police Department, in which Nichols was beaten so severely by the officers that he died from his injuries three days later, reports have surfaced that two of the officers involved in Nichols’s death were hired after the department lowered its recruiting standards.

As reported by The Daily Wire, Officers Tadarrius Bean and Demetrius Haley, who have since been fired and charged in Nichols’s death, were hired in August 2020 two years after the department dropped its requirement for new recruits to have at least an associate’s degree or 54 college credit hours.

According to law enforcement official Karan Parmar, “[T]he 5 charged officers weren’t hired through the usual structured PD hiring process. City leaders felt the existing process was too strict and kept certain people from getting jobs at the department. City leaders began their own hiring process and then pushed new hires into the agency, bypassing the testing procedures in place at the department. … All 5 of the charged officers were hired by the City, and didn’t go through the rigorous PD testing process.”

The Memphis Police Department’s hiring practices fit a nationwide trend in law enforcement of lowering hiring standards. In March 2022, the Chicago Police department announced it was waiving a college credit requirement for new recruits. Philadelphia also dropped its college requirement for new hires in recent years as has New Orleans. The trend is being linked to a nationwide shortage in officers.

Experts worry that the lowering of police recruiting standards could lead to unqualified individuals being hired, which could consequently lead to more tragedies like the deaths of Tyre Nichols, George Floyd, and others who have died under controversial circumstances while in police custody.

“They’re desperate. They want police officers,” Mike Alcazar, an adjunct professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a retired NYPD detective, told The New York Post. “They’re going through it, they check off some boxes, saying, ‘Ok, they’re good enough, get them on.’”

“Police departments have to take the screening process of candidates to be police officers seriously and not rush to hire officers that might not be qualified,” Alcazar argued.

Meanwhile, officers like Jacob Kersey of the Port Wentworth Police Department in Georgia who otherwise have spotless work records are being pulled off duty and threatened with termination for expressing a biblical view of marriage on social media.

On January 2, Kersey tweeted from his personal account while off-duty: “God designed marriage. Marriage refers to Christ and the church. That’s why there is no such thing as homosexual marriage.”

“I was led to believe I was being fired originally,” Kersey said on “Washington Watch” last week. “They told me to turn in everything that belonged to the city. So I had a long, restless night trying to figure out if I really wanted to lose my dream job over this. … And then a week later, when they brought me back, they told me that I could come back to work. But they’re creating a new department policy that says that if someone, somewhere is offended by anything else that I say from here on out, then I could be fired for it.”

Kersey ultimately resigned. “I did not believe that my department had my back,” he said. “I didn’t really want to go back and play that game and just wait to be fired because I know it would happen at some point and I just didn’t think it wise as dangerous of a job as law enforcement is.”

Speaking to The New York Post, Kersey explained that his track record as an officer was impeccable. “I joined the police department, and for over eight months, I only heard great things about my work,” he said. “People had nothing but good things to say about my work as a police officer.”

Kersey was inspired to join the force after being witness to the kindness officers showed him during his childhood when they were called to his family’s house on multiple occasions due to domestic problems. The police “made such a massive difference in my life at a very young age,” he said.

Despite being disappointed about losing his “dream job,” Kersey does not hold bitterness toward the Port Wentworth Police Department.

“In America, most of us will not be called to face physical death for our beliefs,” he said. “But we might be called to face the death of our dreams, we might be called to face the death of our reputation, or we might be called to have other people think bad things about us. But what’s important is what God thinks about us.”

Biden ‘Abandons Pregnant Mothers to Suffer Alone’ from Abortion Pills: 75 Members of Congress

A flurry of legislation, executive orders, and lawsuits have volleyed back and forth between the Biden administration, which seeks to protect the abortion industry, and pro-life advocates attempting to protect unborn children and their mothers. As the Biden administration expanded the distribution of abortion-inducing drugs, 75 pro-life lawmakers have demanded the FDA take pills off the market altogether. As Biden’s executive actions tout expanding the distribution of abortion-inducing drugs as “essential to our [n]ation’s health,” litigators have threatened to take abortionists to state court and issued fresh warnings to corporations thinking of trafficking in life-ending drugs.

“We call on the FDA to remove mifepristone from the market, or, at minimum, promptly restore and further strengthen the initial basic health and safety requirements for abortion drugs, and cease permitting the mailing and shipping of abortion drugs in violation of [f]ederal criminal law,” wrote 75 members of Congress to the Biden administration’s Food and Drug Administration Commissioner, Robert Califf. The Biden administration’s new standard “abandons pregnant mothers to suffer alone, without proper medical evaluation or oversight, potentially life-threatening complications, which can include severe bleeding, infection, potential surgical intervention, and even death.”

It also “makes it easier for these drugs to fall into the hands of human traffickers or abusers, who may administer the drugs to pregnant mothers without their knowledge or consent,” wrote the coalition — 23 Senators and 52 U.S. representatives, led by Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.) and Rep. Bob Latta (R-Ohio) — last Thursday. Ironically, by insisting abortion companies can mail abortion pills, “the FDA is, astonishingly, conditioning certification for pharmacies on their willingness to violate [f]ederal criminal law.”

This letter comes after 41 members of Congress chided Attorney General Merrick Garland that the Justice Department has “abdicated its Constitutional responsibility to enforce the law,” specifically the Comstock Act, which forbids mailing abortion-inducing drugs.

Shorn of their majority in the House of Representatives, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have increasingly advanced abortion-on-demand through a combination of executive action and bureaucratic inaction. “Members of our cabinet and our administration are now directed, as of the president’s order, to identify barriers to access” to pills that induce the death of unborn children “and to recommend actions” to facilitate their distribution nationwide, Harris told a crowd of abortionists and lobbyists in Tallahassee last Sunday, on what would have been the 50th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

Biden’s memo directed AG Garland, Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) Xavier Becerra, and Secretary of Homeland Security (DHS) Alejandro Mayorkas to pursue “further efforts to protect access to” abortion. Biden also directed the Attorney General and the DHS secretary of Homeland Security “to consider actions … that would protect the safety and security of patients, providers, and third parties, and that would protect the security of pharmacies and other entities providing, dispensing, or delivering” abortion pills. “Defending and protecting [abortion] is essential to our [n]ation’s health, safety, and progress,” Biden wrote, before describing pro-life laws as “threats to the liberty” of Americans.

Congressional Republicans more closely reflect the public sentiment on abortion pills. Nearly all young voters — 91% of Gen Z and Gen Y registered voters — support requiring an abortionist to administer an ultrasound to protect mothers from ectopic pregnancies; 93% say abortionists should test women’s blood (RH) to protect women from future infertility; and 60% say the pills should be given in person to avoid them from falling into the hands of an abuser, according to a poll released this month by Students for Life of America. A previous KofC/Marist poll found that 63% of Americans oppose sending abortion-inducing pills through the mail.

“The Biden administration is trying to establish the FDA as the new Supreme Court with their regulations as the new Roe v. Wade. This abuse of power is not only an attack on states’ rights but is also an attack on common decency,” said Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins. “Rest assured that 50 years after Roe v. Wade, pro-life Americans will not have the flawed and inhuman judgment of seven men replaced by the highly discredited Joe Biden.”

Biden notwithstanding, the FDA is an inauspicious vehicle to impose sweeping federal regulations. Nearly all (98%) of the rules issued by the FDA between 2001 and 2017 were unconstitutional, according to a report from the Pacific Legal Foundation.

Rather than rely on the White House to curb its own abuses, pro-life legislators and litigators at the state and federal levels have proposed laws and lawsuits to protect life from executive overreach.

On January 20, Rep. Bob Good (R-Va.) introduced the Teleabortion Prevention Act of 2023, which would require abortionists to perform an in-person examination of the mother before prescribing abortion-inducing drugs, be present when she ingests them, and schedule a follow-up visit to treat any complications.

“The abortion industry continues to exploit vulnerable women through the use of chemical abortions for profit, and they are dishonest about the impact of chemical abortion on women’s health. For years they have worked to remove key health and safety protocols that require an abortionist to physically examine the mother before administering these dangerous drugs,” said Connor Semelsberger, director of Federal Affairs at Family Research Council. “Thank you to Representative Good for standing up to protect both vulnerable women and their unborn children.”

Similarly, Reps. Kevin Hern (R-Okla.) and Diana Harshbarger (R-Tenn.) introduced a bill to rescind the FDA’s loosening of women’s health protections on the distribution of abortion-inducing pills and prevent the agency from reverting to the lower standards in the future. This legislation “to nullify the final FDA rule that expands distribution of these drugs through telehealth and mail is urgently needed to save the lives of babies and their mothers,” said Kris Ullman, president of Eagle Forum.

Semelsberger agreed, “Despite what the Biden administration may claim, there is mounting evidence of just how dangerous do-it-yourself chemical abortions are to both unborn children and their mothers. The latest action by the FDA to put pharmacies on the front lines of distributing abortion pills — without any real concern for how this move will impact maternal health — shows just how politicized the FDA has become.”

“Thanks to pro-life leaders like Representatives Hern and Harshbarger, there is hope that this Congress will take back its role in providing oversight to the FDA and restore true health and safety measures for all Americans, including the unborn,” he concluded.

The Protect the UNBORN (Undo the Negligent Biden Orders Right Now) Act, introduced by Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-Ga.), would prevent the federal government from enforcing Biden’s abortion-expanding Executive Orders 14079 and 14076.

Aside from the federal government, 29 states place commonsense regulations on chemical abortion, which has a higher rate of dangerous interactions than surgical abortion; 18 require the abortionist to be present when the woman takes the pills. And the top lawyers in nearly half the country have promised additional action to protect the unborn from the Biden administration’s abortion pill regimen.

“The authority to regulate abortion lies with the people and their elected representatives. In our states, we prioritize the health and safety of women and children and our laws reflect this,” wrote the attorneys general of 22 states to FDA Commissioner Califf on January 13. “Our [s]tates will not yield to the [a]dministration’s radical pro-abortion policies.”

Wyoming State Senator Tim Salazar (R-Riverton) introduced SF 109, which would protect unborn children in the state from abortion pills. While the bill would not punish the mother, anyone who manufactures or dispenses abortion pills would face a $9,000 fine and up to six months in prison. If passed, the law would take effect July 1.

Finally, some have appealed to the private sector to follow its conscience — or its financial self-interest — by refusing to stock abortion-inducing drugs. FRC joined more than a dozen other national groups in signing letters asking Rite Aid and Walmart not to distribute abortion-inducing pills in their pharmacies. “We are grateful that, so far, Walmart Inc. has not followed the path of CVS and Walgreens in becoming, in effect, an abortion facility,” said Mary Szoch, director of the Center for Human Dignity at Family Research Council. “Pharmacies across the country should recognize that distributing these drugs is antithetical to their mission of providing medications that allow life to flourish.”

As of this writing, 53,218 people have signed FRC’s petition asking Walgreens and CVS, “Do Not Turn Your Pharmacies into Abortion Businesses!”

Former RNC chair candidate Harmeet Dhillon endorsed current state GOP Vice Chairman Christian Ziegler to be the next chairman of the Florida Republican Party.

For me, it’s very appealing because obviously I have been vice chairman and have been on the ground helping throughout, but now to be able to take the lead is a passion of mine.

I’m very aggressive. I think until we have every Democrat out of office, our work does not stop. I want to continue to move the state of Florida to the right and continue to make it darker and darker in ruby red and be able to support Governor DeSantis in his legislative agenda. He was elected to serve as Sarasota County’s State Committeeman in 2012 and was re-elected without opposition in 2016.

During the 2016 presidential election, Ziegler served as a media surrogate for the Donald Trump campaign and as a delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention.

Ziegler said on his list going forward, “the GOP needs to focus on local races, unite as a party and provide a supporting role for DeSantis.”

“We have these liberals that get elected in conservative areas and there’s no rhyme or reason to why this should occur,” Ziegler said.

“I know the presidential is going to get the headlines but a lot of times, these local races impact your life even more than what Washington does.”

President Trump, in his bid for a second term in 2024, is joining the crusade for school choice that is sweeping state legislatures.

Mr. Trump, announcing in a video tenets of his education agenda, called for “universal school choice.” He mostly focused on culture wars — the kinds of issues that have made Governor DeSantis a formidable challenger to the former president.

In the statement last week, Mr. Trump announced his intention to incentivize states to pass a “Parental Bill of Rights,” which would include universal school choice and curriculum transparency measures.

Mr. Trump says he will “implement massive funding preferences and favorable treatment” for locales that guarantee such measures — in addition to ending teacher tenure, cutting administrative personnel, and allowing parents to elect principals.

“If any principal is not getting the job done, the parents should be able to vote to fire them and select someone who will,” Mr. Trump said. “This will be the ultimate form of local control.”

Mr. Trump has not yet endorsed a specific policy program for states to enact universal school choice, but already several states have taken it upon themselves to pass universal school choice legislation in the form of education savings accounts.

ESAs, as they are known in education policy circles, allow states to disburse funds to families to spend on education-related costs: school tuition, textbooks, online courses, and more.

School choice advocates see them as more advantageous than traditional vouchers because they are more flexible and incentivize families to economize, as unspent funds roll over year to year. Students are usually eligible to receive the per-capita funding that public schools would spend.

In the past week, both Utah and Iowa passed legislation that will guarantee all students in these states ESA funding and effectively universal school choice. Arizona enacted the first universal ESA last year.

West Virginia has a similar program for students seeking to transfer out of traditional public schools. Texas, Idaho, Florida, and Oklahoma are looking at proposals for universal ESA programs this legislative term as well.

Mr. Trump’s announcement is a sign that the GOP is staking out education reform as a signature issue, but is moving cautiously with respect for state autonomy. Two of Mr. Trump’s most formidable potential opponents, Governors DeSantis and Youngkin, have made education their signature issue.

More than signaling support for school choice, the two governors have brought education to center-stage of the party platform by tackling the power of teachers unions — particularly during the Covid school shutdowns — and combating “woke” ideology in classrooms.

Conservatives have traditionally looked with disdain on the Department of Education and national K-12 standards. Yet increasingly they are relying on the department’s Office of Civil Rights for complaints about discrimination — for example, on the basis of race when critical race theory enters classrooms.

Mr. Trump in his address promised to cut federal funding for schools teaching “Critical Race Theory, gender ideology, or other inappropriate racial, sexual, or political content.”

He also referred to leftist ideology as “an established new religion” and promised to investigate “potential violations” of the First Amendment’s establishment and free exercise clauses. Mr. Trump also discussed creating teacher certification for those “who embrace patriotic values.”

“As the saying goes, personnel is policy, and at the end of the day, if we have pink-haired Communists teaching our kids, we have a major problem,” the 45th president said.

Meanwhile, at Washington last week, Senator Cruz introduced two bills that would encourage school choice nationwide. One would allow 529 accounts to be spent on K-12 education, and the second would incentivize tax credit scholarships at the state level. Neither bill is considered likely to pass the current Congress.

The Ukrainian government on Tuesday confirmed the resignation of multiple high ranking officials amid large-scale corruption allegations, in what’s being called the biggest mass resignation and graft scandal since the Russian invasion began.

Some dozen officials have quit their posts after a huge political shake-up over allegations and probes into cases ranging from bribery, to mismanagement of aid funds for purchasing food, to embezzlement, to driving expensive cars while common people suffer under wartime conditions.

A top presidential adviser and four deputy ministers – among these two defense officials, along with five regional governors were forced out of their posts. And among the regional governors to step down included officials overseeing regions which have seen intense fighting, including the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, where Russian forces have lately reported gains.

  • Deputy Minister for Development of Communities and Territories Ivan Lukeryu
  • Deputy Minister for Development of Communities and Territories Vyacheslav Negoda
  • Deputy Minister for Social Policy Vitaliy Muzychenk
  • And the regional governors of Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Sumy and Kherson

And separately, “the defense ministry had earlier announced the resignation of deputy minister Vyacheslav Shapovalov, who was in charge of the army’s logistical support, on the heels of accusations it was signing food contracts at inflated prices.”

In this case regarding the food contracts, Shapovalov is accused of signing a deal with an unknown, shady firm. In his role as deputy defense minister, his is the most notable and visible resignation. Crucially he would have had no small part in overseeing the billions of dollars flowing from the pockets of US and European taxpayers as authorized defense aid.

He purchased military rations at inflated prices in what appears a scheme to line the pockets of contractors, and potentially involving kickbacks to himself.

Well, it’s exactly what a lot of us were expecting. All of those billions of dollars that we have been sending over to Ukraine are just getting p*ssed away just like it does here. Government is almost entirely corrupt and it doesn’t even matter where it is. They waste money like it’s endless and as though we don’t actually have to work for it.

Ukraine is amidst yet another corruption scandal as several of its highest-ranking officials were discovered to be indulging in lavish lifestyles, purchasing expensive sports cars, mansions and taking luxurious vacations, while the rest of the population faces ever-increasing difficulties amid the war with Russia.

This news came on the same day that it was announced that the United States and Germany had agreed to provide Ukraine with even more tanks for military use.

On Tuesday, multiple high-ranking members of Ukrainian government confirmed their resignations due to widespread allegations of graft and corruption. This has been labeled as the biggest mass resignation since Russia’s invasion began, with a total of twelve officials quitting their posts in light of accusations ranging from bribery and embezzlement, to mismanagement of aid funds dedicated to food provisions, as well as using expensive cars while other citizens continue to suffer in wartime conditions.

Notably among these resignations are a top presidential adviser, four deputy ministers, including two defense officials, as well as five regional governors; all overseeing various regions where intense fighting has recently occurred such as Zaporizhzhia and Kherson.

Particularly, attention is being drawn toward Deputy Defense Minister Vyacheslav Shapovalov who resigned following accusations that he had signed contracts for inflated prices for food provisions for soldiers. As this was his role within the ministry responsible for managing billions of dollars worth of authorized defense aid from both the US and European taxpayers’ pockets, his resignation is seen as especially significant. Additionally, Oleskiy Symonenko (Deputy Prosecutor General), Ivan Lukeryu (Deputy Minister for Development of Communities and Territories), Vyacheslav Negoda (Deputy Minister for Development of Communities and Territories) and Vitaliy Muzychenk (Deputy Minister for Social Policy) have also resigned their posts alongside regional governors from Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, Sumy and Kherson regions.

In an article on the website of the Canadian Public Health Agency entitled “Inequalities in Health of Racialized Adults in Canada,” one reads that “populations who are racialized in relation to a ‘white’ or non-racialized social group experience stressors including inter-personal and systemic discrimination throughout the life course,” that “racialized adults are less likely to feel that their health is either good or excellent,” and that “racialized Canadians are disproportionately impacted by inequalities in safe and stable housing.”)

As a linguist, I was struck by the repeated use in this article of a new past participle that I was not familiar with — “racialized”. I began to wonder about the implications underlying the use of this verb form, which implies the existence of a verb “to racialize”.

So I looked on the internet to see if I could find other forms of this verb. My search turned up examples such as the following: “Coleman Hughes on how America racializes its citizens”; “Not all racializers do the same thing when they racialize”; “Discourses that are racializing and othering muslim*women [sic] can sustain hegemony, by disguising their particularities”.

The past participle of this verb therefore represents the person or group to which it is applied as having undergone the action of being racialized by some agent who is represented as a racializer. This leads to the question as to who is doing the racializing. A further search on the internet showed that the answer to that question is invariably the same — whites.

Behind that little past participle “racialized”, consequently, there lies a whole worldview which sees the relations between different races in terms of racializer/racialized or, in other terms, oppressor/oppressed. As Robin Diangelo states in White Fragility, “white people raised in Western societies are conditioned into a white supremacist worldview because it is the bedrock of our society and its institutions,” and this worldview “brings into existence whites and nonwhites, full persons and subpersons.”

The name of this worldview is Critical Race Theory, and its underpinnings are essentially Marxist. It divides the world into two opposing power groups: the oppressor (capitalists/whites) and the oppressed (workers/nonwhites). Since everything is governed by power-relations in this system, the only recourse of the oppressed is to use whatever power they have to rise up against the oppressor and throw off his yoke: as one of the foundational thinkers of Critical Race Theory, Ibram X. Kendi, has written in How to be an Antiracist: “The only remedy to racist discrimination is antiracist discrimination. The only remedy to past discrimination is present discrimination. The only remedy to present discrimination is future discrimination.”

One doesn’t have to be a linguist in order to see that the division of the world into racializer/racialized is a recipe for conflict and violence, and not for the resolution of unjust discrimination.

As Edward Feser points out in his book All One in Christ. A Catholic Critique of Racism and Critical Race Theory, “if one were to replace expressions like ‘whiteness’ and ‘white supremacy’ with terms such as ‘Jewishness’ and ‘Jewry’, it would be difficult to distinguish Critical Race Theory literature from the ugly propaganda of Nazism. Its claims are comparably extreme, even if it has not (yet?) led to comparable levels of violence.” Feser advocates that the way forward entails “not Critical Race Theory’s cancel culture and hermeneutics of suspicion, but rational discourse and mutual understanding. Not the demonization of any race as inherently oppressive, but solidarity and mutual respect.”

Amen to that.

DOJ indicts two Antifa-linked individuals from Florida for Jane’s Revenge vandalism

A federal grand jury indicted two Florida residents with alleged links to Antifa this week on charges of violating the FACE Act. According to a Justice Department press release, Caleb Freestone and Amber Smith-Stewart, both in their 20s, along with other unidentified co-conspirators, conspired to prevent access to “reproductive services health facilities.” Freestone and Smith-Stewart are accused of vandalizing a Winterhaven pregnancy resource center with slogans including “If abortions aren’t safe neither are you,” and threats such as, “We are coming for you.”

The press release made no mention of the rash of attacks conducted in the name of Pro-abortion anarchist group Jane’s Revenge although graffiti from Winterhaven incident clearly referenced the group.

According to social media posts identified by Antifa Watch, which maintains a database of individuals charged with rioting and other violence linked to Antifa, both Freestone and Smith-Stewart have self-identified as being affiliated with Miami-Dade Antifa. This would seem to confirm previous analytical judgements that Jane’s Revenge represents a front for a network of anarcho-communist affinity groups likely linked to Antifa and not a brand new organization.

The Department of Justice’s decision not to openly address the identity and nature of the conspiracy to attack pro-life pregnancy resource centers is unfortunate but not surprising as it has largely declined to recognize the organized nature of left-wing extremism for some time.

The decision to charge the Florida suspects with violations of the FACE Act, a federal civil rights violation which the DOJ has aggressively used against non-violent pro-life groups in recent months also suggests an element of politicized decision-making, creating a false equivalency between Jane’s Revenge, which has conducted multiple arsons and issued terroristic threats, and non-violent demonstrations.

The FACE act does carry potentially severe criminal penalties, including up to 12 years in prison. Florida state law enforcement officials might consider whether there is also justification for indicting suspects on state charges which reflect the violent and terroristic nature of the threats made in this case, particularly if DOJ should either fail to successfully prosecute the case or if it seeks a reduced sentence, as it has been accused of doings in other cases involving left-wing extremism.

This is the first case related to Jane’s Revenge where the DOJ has successfully identified and indicted a suspect or suspects.

Mitt Romney says US support of Ukraine is good for Americans

Utah Republican says aid for Ukraine consistent with US spending on its own national security

Sen. Mitt Romney says if Americans say the United States should not spend money to help Ukraine defend itself against Russia, they should probably say the U.S. shouldn’t spend money on its own national defense either.

“And that makes no sense at all,” the Utah Republican said in a social media post Thursday.

Romney said in the 3 ½-minute video that he is often asked why the war in Ukraine is an American interest and why supporting it is good for Americans.

“So when people say ‘What does this do for America?’ Well, why do we spend money on national defense? We could just take all that money and spend it here on ourselves,” he said. “But we spend on national defense because we know that if we do so, it makes it more likely we’ll be safe and prosperous and our lives will be spared.”

In the video, Romney outlines the reasons he believes backing Ukraine is vital to the United States.

“I begin, of course, with just the humanitarian reality, we care of course about human life and the suffering that’s going on in Ukraine,” he said. “We’re just appalled by the fact that Russia has invaded a peaceful, sovereign nation next door.”

Continued American prosperity depends on peace, Romney said.

“We have better jobs and better incomes and better prospects for our future if the world is at peace. If the world is in conflict, things aren’t good for us as well as for other people around the world,” he said.

“But conflict makes us less well off, so a peaceful world makes us better off. It’s good for Americans.”

Romney said that if a country believes it can invade a neighbor without any response or reaction, it will happen again and again. Ultimately, he said, violence keeps spreading and “involves us and we end up being attacked ourselves.”
