CRISIS: Pennsylvania Democrat Officials Mailed Out 255,000 Ballots to Unverified Voters

By The Geller Report

If the bonkers neck lump wins it’s over. We have no chance – our elections are pure show for the totalitarian party. They cheat with absolute abandon knowing there are no repercussions or penalties. Just more power.

Pennsylvania Democrat Officials Mailed Out 240,000 Ballots to Unverified Voters! …UPDATE: Now at 255,000 Unverified Voters!

By Jim Hoft, October 26, 2022:

Pennsylvania Democrat officials sent out 240,000 255,000 ballots to people they could not verify either by their Social Security or Driver’s License numbers.

The ballots should NEVER have been sent out to these voters.

Fifteen Republican State Representatives sent a letter to Acting Secretary of the Commonwealth Leigh Chapman after they discovered that over 240,000 illicit ballots were sent out in the state prior to the 2022 midterm elections.

Deputy Secretary Jonathan Marks testified in September before the Pennsylvania House that counties are responsible to verify the voter ID when a completed ballot arrive to the county. The counties argued that this was nonsense. The ID must be verified before a ballot is even sent out.

The Crocodile Tears of Mark Kelly thumbnail

The Crocodile Tears of Mark Kelly

By Neland Nobel

As the election looms just ahead, it seems that inflation is the penultimate”kitchen table” issue that is rising in importance to voters.

It began with the Federal Reserve publicly stating they wanted inflation above 2%. This was given academic sanction by the Democrats adopting Modern Monetary Theory, which purports that deficits don’t matter and that the government can simply print the money it needs for expenditures.   We have reviewed this literature at some length.

As inflation began to surge, the Democrats said it was “transitory“, and would go away soon.

Then President Biden say there was “zero inflation.” He did this with a clever sleight of hand. Noting that there was no month-to-month change in the data in one particular month, he said inflation was zero. This is like saying it is 110 degrees in Phoenix today, the same as it was yesterday, so therefore there is zero heat in Phoenix during the summer. His silly Press Secretary repeated the claim.

But political rhetoric and statistical tomfoolery can’t erase the reality that most people are experiencing in their lives. Simply trying to fill up the tank of the car, buying some hamburgers, paying the rent, or looking at the electric bill quickly and loudly informs voters that there is inflation and it is very serious. Voters are justifiably furious.

In our Arizona Senate race, Senator Mark Kelly, no doubt informed by staff of the polling data concerning inflation concerns, has said he understands how bad inflation can impact families. In a recent interview with AZ Central, he expresses his deep concern and empathy.

This is sort of admitting that he now understands the effect inflation has on people, but he does not understand the cause of inflation and the direct role he played in creating it.

A better way to think of inflation is not that prices are rising, but that the value of money is falling.  It takes more pieces of paper or more electronic digits to buy the same standard of living.

Inflation further acts like a compound interest curve in reverse. Remember the rule of 72. Divide the number 72 by the interest rate you are receiving, and you can get a close estimate as to what level your investments will grow. For example: if you receive a rate of return of 6% compounding, your investment will double in 12 years. Likewise, if the inflation rate persists in the current 9% range, the purchasing value of your investments (if they are held constant) will fall in half in purchasing power in just 8 years.

The current level of inflation, while not “runaway”, is still high enough to do immense damage to the wealth of consumers and businesses. At current rates, a person retiring today will have his investments drop in half in just eight years. As the value of your investments erodes so does the income those investments can generate.

Inflation destroys the standard of living of people, especially if they are retired and on a fixed income. For those still working, they must fight to stay up with inflation, much like a gerbil on a running wheel. Even if they succeed in doing so, their standard of living is lower than it would otherwise be.

There is only one entity that can depreciate the value of money and that is the United States federal government. It and its agencies (primarily the Federal Reserve) have a monopoly on the issuance of money and control fiscal policy (government spending) and monetary policy. They control interest rates and they regulate the creation of credit through the banking system that they supervise.

So it would seem Senator Kelly understands the pain of inflation, but does not understand its cause.

The cause, of course, is him and his fellow politicians who have voted for the wild spending and huge deficits that are part of Biden’s economics. If he is looking for the cause, simply looking at himself while shaving his head would be a good start.

Expressing concern about something you inflict on others perhaps is a good political ploy, but it dodges responsibility.

Voters need to hold those responsible for creating too much money while passing legislation that throttles production.

Kelly voted for the ill-named Inflation Protection Act and all the other big spending legislation pushed by Biden and Chuck Schumer.  The Democrats admit the Act was named as a ploy, as the content of the legislation really is a huge environmental bill designed to fight the false claims about “climate change.”

The government poured almost $5 trillion dollars into the economy when supply chains were almost shut down.  They blew up the money supply by almost 40%, the largest bulge in American history.

With the Covid lockdowns and a regulatory jihad against business in general, and then passing legislation that exploded Federal spending, it created the classic inflationary setup: too much spending (money) chasing too few goods. Government can create money (which creates demand) but the government can’t print oil, crops, or semiconductors (supply).

Democrats have done everything they can to destroy the energy industry and replace it with untried and untested replacements. The result is rising fuel costs, utility bills, food costs, and transportation costs. The escalation of energy costs is a direct result of government policy supported by Mark Kelly.

And now Kelly and his Democrat allies go about the country empathizing with the pain voters feel, as if inflation were a plague visited upon us by space aliens.

No Senator, you supported the policies that created this mess by voting almost 100% with Joe Biden and Chuck Schumer.

Spare us the crocodile tears. You are responsible for this mess and don’t try to dodge the responsibility for it.

Will ‘Democracy Die in Darkness’ After November? thumbnail

Will ‘Democracy Die in Darkness’ After November?

By Victor Davis Hanson

The Republicans were always going to win big in November, regardless of what biased pundits professed.

There was likely never a sudden “blue resurgence” or “red collapse” of late summer.

Those fantasies were mostly Democratic Party talking points. They were readily regurgitated by the fusion media and biased pollsters. The ruse was transparently designed to dampen conservative turnout and fundraising, while fueling interparty squabbling over supposedly “unelectable MAGA candidates.”

As it turns out, all the late infusions of millions of dollars of Silicon Valley dark “cabal” money will be to no avail.

All the last-minute Joe Biden giveaways like student-loan forgiveness, marijuana pardons, and COVID relief checks will be too little, too late.

All the Trump-derangement syndrome psychodramatic distractions from the January 6 committee to the Mar-a-Lago raid will be too transparently desperate.

And all the shrill 11th-hour warnings of a new variant of racism from the multimillionaire Obamas on the stump will be just that—shrill.

Yes, the Democrats will soon chant democracy is dying because they are terrified it is thriving as never before. And that grass-roots resurgence is mostly because Republicans are no longer so easily stereotyped as the out-of-touch party of aristocratic Mitt Romneys and condescending Bill Kristols.

Instead, supposedly “racist” conservatives are now empowered by minority voters worried more about shared class concerns than skin color. They are concluding that if there are American racists, they are most likely the rich bicoastal elites, never subject to the consequences of their selfish agendas, and their own self-appointed, self-interested, and ossified diversity industry.

So as the election nears, to save reputations, pollsters will now become just a bit more honest…..

HOUSING BUBBLE: Price Drops Spread Across America thumbnail

HOUSING BUBBLE: Price Drops Spread Across America

By Wolf Richter

Big drops in San Diego, Los Angeles, Dallas, Portland, Phoenix, Boston. Prices going down faster than they’d spiked? No way. Oops.

This is the first month in this cycle that the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Home Price Index, which lags reality on the ground by 4-6 months, is showing house price declines in all the metros in the index.

In Seattle, the month-to-month plunge was the steepest on record (-3.8%). In San Francisco, the month-to-month plunge (-4.3%) was the third-steepest on record, outdone only by the two worst months during Housing Bust 1 in 2008. In San Diego (-2.8%), Los Angeles (-2.3%), Phoenix (-2.1%), and other metros, the plunges were the worst since Housing Bust 1. And the declines are spreading across the country to other metros, including Dallas, Boston, Washington D.C., and Las Vegas.

These are serious declines for the Case-Shiller Home Price Index, where each month is a rolling three-month average which irons out the month-to-month variability.

Today’s release of the index was for “August,” which consists of the three-month average of closed home sales that were entered into public records in June, July, and August. Due to the delay between when a deal is made and when the “closed sale” is entered into public records, the time span for “August” roughly covers deals made in May through June. During that time, the average 30-year fixed mortgage rate reached the 6% range. Today, we’re at 7%, and mortgage bankers are frazzled.

You probably did not see this on the evening news but on October 19th, 2022 “Marco Polo“, a group led by a former President Donald Trump staffer that has been investigating the Hunter Biden laptop, sent its findings to all 535 members of the House and the Senate.

Here’s a tweet about the report:

Today, all 535 members of congress received a documented report of all of Hunter Biden’s crimes, sent from Marco Polo’s investigative group.

It includes 459 violations of state and federal laws.

The Bottom Line

Democrats and the media do not want this information shared, discussed, reported on let alone used to be investigated by Congress or the Department of Justice.

However, this may all change after the 2022 midterm elections and the swearing in of the 118th Congress on January 3rd, 2023.

Stay tuned for we expect Republicans to investigate this and the entire Biden administration with the same fervor as the Democrats did with the J6 Select Committee.

The only difference is the Biden family and his administration, according to the Marco Polo report, actually committed crimes.

Soros-Backed Maricopa County District Attorney Candidate Praised Groups that Hope to ‘Abolish Prison’

By The Editors

Editors’ Note: Attention Maricopa County voters – Democrat Julie Gunnigle is exactly the type of candidate, if elevated to the position of Maricopa County Attorney, will devastate the rule of law and unleash the horrific crime wave seen in blue cities in America with a police defunding, pro-criminal, and anti-victim ideology. The George Soros backed and financed far-left Democrat county and district attorneys in cities such as New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, et al are a major reason for the rampant violent crime devastating the residents and businesses of these locales. A vote for Julie Gunnigle is a vote against Maricopa County law and order and the well-being of all its residents. Current Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell is an experienced conservative, law and order prosecutor who represents the best in those responsible for holding dangerous criminals accountable and maintaining law and order and the safety of our streets and communities. The choice for this critical office is not hard but critical – Rachel Mitchell will defend the rule of law and prosecute crime. Julie Gunnigle will work to defund police, protect criminals and degrade the safety and well-being of all in Maricopa County with her progressive far-left ideology.

“I can’t say enough good things about Mass Liberation AZ,” Soros-backed Maricopa County District Attorney candidate Julie Gunnigle said in reference to an extreme, pro-criminal organization.

Gunnigle also stated that Mass Liberation AZ brings a “valued voice” to the conversation on criminal justice reform, “I’ve built relationships with other community organizations and I’m in conversation with folks like Mass Liberation and LUCHA because I think they bring a valued voice,” the Soros backed candidate remarked.

Mass Liberation AZ advocates for the abolition of prisons. Their website states unambiguously, “We believe all prisons, detention centers and jails should be abolished.”

The pro-criminal organization is also co-hosting an event titled “Do Black Lives Matter to White Women” alongside Planned Parenthood. The description of the anti-white event reads, “White Women need to show up now and support the movement for Black liberation. Join us to unlearn toxic whiteness.”

The Scam Called ESG thumbnail

The Scam Called ESG

By Mark T. Cicero

What is this thing called ESG?  It stands for Environmental, Social, and Governance. Sounds great, doesn’t it? What could possibly be the harm of seeking to promote these virtues in our corporations? I mean, seriously, who doesn’t want companies that seek to emulate these values? I will be the first to admit that when I first heard of it, it sounded like a good idea. How can it be bad?

The main problem lies in their root: they are all completely subjective measures. There is no empirical methodology for applying these value scores to a company. It begins with a failed investment banking analyst who is tasked with scoring companies on these values. Why ‘failed’? Because if they were any good at evaluating industries and companies, they would still be doing it.

And since ESG is subjective by its nature, the movement has been hijacked by the left and its subjective values. A company that mines coal with US labor gets a poor score, while a solar panel manufacturer in China that uses slave labor and is owned by a dictatorship gets a high score. How does that make any sense?

Let’s begin by looking at the energy industry. By their own admission, almost every ESG analyst will state that an energy company is ‘bad’ because they employ fossil fuels for the bulk of their energy creation. Thus, all of the major banks in this country will no longer offer credit and financial services to these firms (they want to preserve their own ESG scores). Almost all oil drilling and exploration on public land have been terminated because using fossil fuels will destroy the environment. By starving the industry of capital and reducing production on public lands, ESG will create its own energy crisis.

The new definition of ESG is this:  Energy Shortages Guaranteed.

In the world of the ‘woke’ ideologues who promote this line of thought believe it is better to have places like Venezuela and the Middle East supply our oil than it is to get it here. This is in spite of the fact that the USA has greater oil reserves than almost any other nation on earth. We also are much cleaner producers.

Moreover, if fossil fuels are such a danger to the earth, why does Venezuelan or Saudi oil get a pass? Does the earth know the difference? Are these countries not part of the global ecosystem?

The solution to this self-inflicted energy crisis is to encourage the use of electric vehicles (EVs). It may come as a surprise to learn that EVs are not all that ‘green’. The most obvious example is fueling these EVs. Charging your Tesla overnight is the energy equivalent of having 15 refrigerators running in your kitchen overnight. There are other, less obvious, reasons for promoting the use of EVs: the most practical is that it reduces your ability to travel independently – you can only travel to places that will make charging stations available (currently limited to the most populous areas). And, by the way, where will the additional power to fuel these vehicles come from?  Our energy grid is currently at capacity and has trouble maintaining current demand and it is mostly derived from fossil fuels.

Bear in mind also that the very people who decry the use of fossil fuels almost all fly on private jets for their travel needs. When do you suppose President Obama or Leonardo De Caprio last took a Southwest flight? Remember that flying on a private plane pollutes 5 to 14 times more than commercial jet travel per passenger. Yet these ‘woke’ proponents of ‘green’ policies still preach to us about reducing our energy footprint while they ignore it completely. And by the way, if global warming, the ice caps melting and climate change are going to flood the world’s shorelines, why do they all live on oceanfront properties? But I digress…

Back to ESG. At its core, it is simply another way for our leaders to control things. If it were an honest measure of ‘goodness’ it would excoriate any firm doing business with the nation of China – one of the worst human rights violators on the planet.

While it is only in its nascent stages, ESG is still nothing more than a social credit score applied to businesses. Who makes up these scores? What are the criteria? And how long will it be before employees of companies are scored on their ESG evaluations? How long will it be before we all are tagged with a social credit score?

Analysis: 5.5 Million Illegal Aliens Have Crossed our Borders Since Biden Took Office—How is Secretary Mayorkas Still Employed?

By Federation for American Immigration Reform

Washington, D.C. — The Federation for American Immigration Reform issued the following statement, as well as a deeper dive into FY 2022 border numbers, based on data quietly released late Friday night by the Biden administration:

“In typical fashion, the Biden administration attempted to conceal the reality of a historic crisis they created by releasing final FY 2022 border numbers late on a Friday evening, hoping in vain that no one would notice on the eve of consequential midterm elections. After digging through them, we can see why,” said Dan Stein, president of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR).

“Some 2.7 million migrants—those who illegally entered or were otherwise inadmissible at a port of entry—were encountered at our borders in FY 2022, bringing the total under President Biden to a whopping 5.5 million. One thing is clear: These record-breaking numbers are a direct consequence of open-borders policies implemented by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and the person who appointed him, President Joe Biden,” charged Stein. “This deliberate sabotage of our nation’s immigration laws demands that the president remove Mayorkas from his position immediately. Otherwise, the impeachment of his disgraced cabinet member is sure to be one of the first orders of business in the next Congress.”

“Nothing will improve until there is a public servant leading the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) who believes in borders—and secure ones at that. We cannot even begin to reverse this disaster so long as our nation’s immigration policies are in the hands of someone who is bent on compounding it. No matter how late at night this administration releases data, the numbers still speak for themselves. President Biden needs to clean house at DHS, and, if he is not prepared to do it, Congress needs to clean it for him, beginning with the impeachment of Secretary Mayorkas,” Stein concluded.

FAIR Border Snapshot for FY 2022

  • Some 2.7 million migrants—those who illegally entered or were otherwise inadmissible at a port of entry—were encountered at our borders in FY 2022.
    • 2.2 million of them were apprehended along the southwest border, setting a new record and eclipsing all four years of the Trump administration combined.
  • Since President Biden took office, around 5.5 million illegal aliens have crossed our borders—a crisis of epic proportions.
    • FAIR’s figure contains the 4.4 million nationwide total reported by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) – which includes around 3.9 million at our southwest border – as well as approximately 1.1 million “gotaways” who have entered the country undetected per agency sources.
    • Based on publicly available CBP data, court filings, and “gotaways,” FAIR estimates that 2.4 million were either released by federal authorities or entered the country’s interior undetected.
  • Border Patrol agents encountered 98 known or suspected terrorists in FY 2022. In FY 2021, that number was 15. In FY 2020, it was three and in FY 2019, zero.
    • This number only includes known or suspected terrorists who were apprehended, not those embedded in the 1.1 million who evaded law enforcement while entering the country and eventually disappeared into American communities.
  • Migrant deaths at the southwest border totaled 856 in FY 2022—the deadliest year on record.
  • The amount of fentanyl seized in the last month of the fiscal year is equivalent of more than 414 million lethal doses—bringing the FY 2022 lethal dose total well into the billions.
    • More fentanyl has crossed the border in the last two months under President Biden than in all of FY 2019 under President Trump’s leadership.

The Family Man Makes it Close thumbnail

The Family Man Makes it Close

By Neland Nobel

The conventional wisdom was that Trump-endorsed candidates were poor choices and would not fare well in the election process.  So convinced were Democrats of this thesis that they actually financed some of these Trump choices. Many suggested that even with the discontent voters have with Democrat policies and the leadership of Joe Biden, such poorly prepared candidates would fail to win key elections.

The first sign that this might not hold was so many doing well in their respective primary races. We admit, though, The Prickly Pear was not too keen on Trump endorsements because we thought it short-circuited the primary process. That process shows how well a candidate can raise money, develop an agenda, deal with the media, and debate opponents.  It also tests their ground game, the ability to reach voters.

Instead, Trump-endorsed candidates got a substantial loyal following instantly, largely by default simply because many Republicans thought Trump has been treated horribly and they were not about to see him humiliated. So, they lined up without delving too deeply into the reasons for the endorsement. If they were loyal to Trump, they would be loyal to whomever he endorsed.

Now it appears that many Trump-endorsed candidates are surging in the last two weeks of the campaign. Maybe he picks talent better than people thought? Some, such as Kari Lake, have turned out to be outstanding campaigners, often running unique campaigns that communicate directly with voters without the intervening bias of the legacy press. As Mount Rainier creates its own weather, Kerri Lake seems able to create her own news cycle.

In short, many have turned out to be better candidates than critics supposed.

Blake Masters had to plow through several significant opponents to win his primary race.

He started his general election tasks somewhat depleted in funds and struggling to unite the Republican Party behind him. That is not a unique problem.  It is common in hard-fought primary election cycles. But it does appear that Senate leader Mitch McConnell was not fond of the Master’s candidacy and denied critical funds at a critical period. We should remember that.

Others like Heritage Action stepped in, but it still left an almost insurmountable task of catching one of the most heavily funded Democrat Senate candidates of all time.

Mark Kelly had no primary opposition and has outraised Masters in cash by an astounding 7:1 ratio. Kelly has spent two years basically raising money and seems to have a lavishly funded social media effort.

But Kelly is not a family man, has been ineffectual on the border issues that are critical to Arizona, and has had uncomfortable ties to Chinese business interests. He is a staunch opponent of gun rights, crime prevention, and school choice. Mark Kelly has supported the Biden Administrations’ radical economic agenda that has punished all Arizonan families with historic inflation. While terrific at raising money, his positions seem ill-suited to Arizona in particular.

Arizona is not as conservative as it once was, but it still leans right of center.

Mark Kelly is positioned well left of center on almost every political and social issue.

A major variable in this election is the position of white college-educated women on abortion on the one hand and the Democrat Party’s attack on the family and womanhood on the other. Most women will accept some restrictions on abortion, as long as it is not criminalized or outlawed altogether. On the other hand, the attack on the very definition of womanhood by radical sexual extremists within the Democratic Party has many alarmed, and for good reason.

Most Moms are parents by definition and don’t like being told they have no business or right to question how their child is educated. They don’t like being called domestic terrorists for doing so.

Many are increasingly uncomfortable with public school curricula that sexualize children, force girls to compete with boys in sports, and erase womanhood by calling them “birthing persons”.

What good has the century-long struggle for women’s rights been, if women are just a social construct that can be unconstructed? As a construct, men simply can assume that role as well by claiming they “feel” like a woman. Take some hormone shots well after puberty and don feminine clothes and you are a woman?

Although not a political event, as a social event the recent behavior of a transgendered man on live British television was disturbing. Singing before a live audience, this “woman” decided to strip naked and play the piano with his/her penis. The audience roared in approval.

I think women sense that something quite awful has been unleashed on society that is not good for them, and certainly not good for their children.

And what woman who has a family is not feeling the pressure of historic inflation, especially soaring energy, food, and housing costs? Even those currently without husbands, would at least like at some time the option to get married and have children and live the American dream. It is kind of hard to support a party that is erasing womanhood itself and pricing the suburban family dream completely out of reach.

In Arizona in particular, many women are of Hispanic origin. They often have more children than the national average – ask any maternity staff. For them, the racism displayed by the Democrats creates problems since many marry Anglo men. Moreover, they are family oriented and culturally conservative,  and this flagrant sponsorship of sexual excesses by Democrats has them deeply disturbed. Their husbands often work in trades that require vehicles and fuel at reasonable costs. Soaring inflation and interest rates are hurting the building trades where many are employed.

In short, if the election is decided by women, it will boil down to balancing the trade-offs. Women have the choice of who they are with and who they marry. They have the choice to use contraception, and likely they will have the choice to abort their baby if they do so before it is developed enough to feel pain or be viable. Not that much will really change. The Democrats wish to paint the picture of Republicans foreclosing on their “choice”, leaving them no choice but to be barefoot and trapped in a kitchen, an archaic and insulting picture of women.

But in reality, the Democrat agenda threatens the very fabric of the family, the definition of womanhood itself, and the economic circumstances that allow for affordable food, fuel, and housing. It is those very things that allow you to raise children under decent circumstances and take them to soccer practice in the first place.

What Blake Masters has going for him is not a huge campaign war chest. What he has going for him is not his Republican label. He is a family man who seems genuinely to understand what families need.

Kelly at one time led Masters among women by 20 percentage points according to Politico, but recent polling data shows it has narrowed to below 10%.

We suspect white and Hispanic ‘soccer moms’ will continue to break for Masters and put him across the line. It likely is not because of Blake Master’s party affiliation. It is more likely because women understand that they domesticate men into family life and commitment and what Democrats offer is sexual chaos, social instability, crime, and poverty. All these are the enemy of Moms and the families they love.

How Not to Vote in Arizona

The 2022 midterm election is fast approaching. The system for voting in Arizona is predominantly by mail-in ballots (around 80% of all ballots). The ballots will be mailed out to all voters registered for mail-in voting on October 12th. The actual ‘day’ of the election is Tuesday November 8, 27 days later.

Once upon a time when all voters went to the polls on the day of election, the tabulated results were announced the night of the election date. If the result of a specific race was razor thin and less than a legislated margin, a recount might prevent the naming of a winner. That was the exception for calling the results of the election.

It is still this way in most first world countries but not the United States and certainly not Arizona. Voting rules (some unconstitutional) were dramatically altered in many states in 2020 because of the Covid pandemic.

We at The Prickly Pear are very concerned about the flaws in Arizona’s predominant ‘mail-in’ voting system.

TRUMP DRIVES CROWD WILD WHEN HE SAYS HE’LL ‘PROBABLY’ HAVE TO RUN IN 2024

By RSBN, Oct 22, 2022

President Donald Trump teased an eager audience of MAGA supporters on Saturday night with a foreshadow of a potential 2024 presidential run, telling the crowd that he would “probably have to do it again!”

He stated, “The election was rigged and stolen and now our country is being destroyed. I ran twice, I won twice, I did much better the second time than I did the first, getting millions more votes in 2020 than we got in 2016, and likewise getting more votes than any sitting president in the history of our country by far!”

The Democrats’ full blown invasion.

And they are putting them up in hotels. They’re building cities for them.

These things don’t just happen. They are made to happen.

No one in their right mind would vote for these terrorists.

Record 2.4 million Migrants Illegally Crossed Border in FY2022, Almost 4 Million total Under Biden

By: Just The News, October 24, 2022:

Southwest border encounters reached a record of nearly 2.4 million for fiscal year 2022, according to new Customs and Border Protection data released late Friday.

In September, the number of migrant encounters at the border was 227,547, which represents a 12% increase over August.

“Of those, 19% involved individuals who had at least one prior encounter in the previous 12 months, compared to an average one-year re-encounter rate of 14% for FY2014-2019,” according to CBP’s monthly operational update for September.

“Almost three-fourths (71%) of all southwest land border encounters were single adults, with 161,381 encounters in September, a 15% increase compared to August,” the CBP reported.

The total encounters border patrol had with migrants at the border during the fiscal year 2022 was 2,378,944. For comparison, 2021 was 1,734,686 and 2020 was 458,088, which was the last full fiscal year of former President Trump’s term. In 2019, there was 977,509.

There have been a total of 4,113,630 encounters at the border since the start of fiscal year 2021. Under President Biden’s term beginning in January 2021, specifically, there have been 3,895,594.

Democrat Adrian Fontes and Republican Mark Finchem (R) Running for Arizona Secretary of State thumbnail

Democrat Adrian Fontes and Republican Mark Finchem (R) Running for Arizona Secretary of State

By Janie Valentine

Editors’ Note: The Center Square has presented equal coverage in the article below to Adrian Fontes and Mark Finchem, the two candidates running for Arizona Secretary of State. We respect The Center Square’s reporting on both candidates based on what each campaign is advertising about their candidate and putting out to the public about their opponent.

Two years ago, The Prickly Pear published several videos about the 2020 Maricopa County Recorder race between Democrat incumbent Adrian Fontes and Republican challenger Stephen Richer. Mr. Richer narrowly won that contest and is the current Recorder and in place through the 2024 election cycle. Our research and knowledge of Adrian Fontes’ role as Maricopa County Recorder was revealing and concerning. Fontes was elected in 2016 and had responsibility for the 2018 midterm and 2020 elections in Maricopa County. Both of these election cycles had serious and very questionable election concerns and Fontes’ conduct was called into question on multiple occasions. In fact, Mr. Richer is on record during The Prickly Pear interviews with him that there was criminality and incompetence by Fontes during these election cycles.

We know that Fontes used many of the 100+ employees in his office to conduct voter registration drives overwhelmingly in Democrat districts, a prohibited partisan effort. He also attempted to change election regulations (law), a constitutional function of the state legislature, only to be reversed by the Arizona Supreme Court. On election eve in 2018, the announced Republican ‘winners’ of the U.S. Senate, AZ Secretary of State and AZ Superintendent of Public Education races were all overturned in the days to weeks following election day with his office blocking observers of the counting in the 2018 races.

The bottom line here for the voters in Maricopa County is this – the Arizona Secretary of State has a primary and critical role in the management and integrity of state and federal elections to ensure voter confidence in this fundamental citizen responsibility and privilege. Importantly, since Arizona does not have a lieutenant governor, the Secretary stands first in the line of succession to the governorship. Given the many grave concerns about election integrity before, during and following the Covid pandemic, Adrian Fontes should not be elevated to this high office. We strongly recommend a Republican vote for this critical position that will avoid the questions that many voters have about election integrity and the well known partisan behavior in elected office of Adrian Fontes.

Adrian Fontes (D) and Mark Finchem (R) are running for Arizona secretary of state on Nov. 8. Incumbent Katie Hobbs (D) is running for governor of Arizona.

Duties of the Arizona secretary of state include serving as the state’s chief election officer and keeping the state’s official records. As Arizona is one of five states that does not have a lieutenant governor position, the secretary of state also serves as acting governor when the governor is out of state and is first in the gubernatorial line of succession.

Fontes served as Maricopa County Recorder from 2017 to 2021. In his response to Ballotpedia’s Candidate Connection survey, Fontes highlighted his experience as county recorder, saying that he had “revolutionized Arizona’s elections by registering half a million new voters, providing direct outreach to traditionally underserved communities, and making voting free, fair, and accessible to all.” Fontes’ campaign website also says he “enhanced ballot tracking technology and increased process transparency[.]” The website says Fontes is “committed to preserving integrity in our elections, increasing transparency in the Secretary of State’s office, making voting easier for registered voters, and ensuring that Arizona’s business community has a partner in the Secretary’s office.”

Finchem was first elected to represent Arizona House of Representatives District 11 in 2014 and was re-elected three times. Finchem’s campaign ads highlight former President Donald Trump’s (R) endorsement, as well as Finchem’s response to the 2020 presidential election in Arizona. One ad says that “[w]hen Arizonans had concerns about their election, Mark Finchem had the courage to hold the Maricopa hearing that led to the Arizona audit” and says that Finchem “filed legislation to set aside the irredeemably compromised elections in three counties with large margins of error.” Finchem says he will “support law enforcement, clean the voter rolls for accuracy, prosecute fraud, secure [Arizona] elections, increase transparency, communicate with voters, and count all legal votes.”

Fontes’ campaign website says, “… Finchem will take away our right to vote, he will end vote by mail, he will overturn election results if he sees fit, and his radical agenda will threaten our economy. Mark Finchem is a member of the Oath Keepers, an extremist hate group who wants to overthrow the government. … If elected, Finchem would, as the official who oversees the state office administering the 2024 presidential election, have the power to possibly affect the outcome of the race.”

Finchem called Fontes “a lawless bad actor who has a history of criminal behavior who recklessly bungled both the 2018 and 2020 elections as the Maricopa County Recorder” and said he was “[George] Soros’ handpicked Marxist who will turn Arizona into California with open borders & rigged elections.” Finchem said, “Fontes does not respect the law, is a criminal who has served time in jail and rewrote law illegally and was rebuked by many on all sides for it.”

Hobbs was elected in 2018 with 50.4% of the vote to Steve Gaynor’s (R) 49.6%. Republicans hold the two other top executive positions in Arizona—governor and attorney general—meaning that neither major party has a triplex in the state. There are currently 23 Republican triplexes, 18 Democratic triplexes, and 9 divided governments where neither party holds triplex control.

This is one of 27 elections for secretary of state taking place in 2022.

Voter Rolls Are Essential to Victory in the Election Integrity Fight. Here’s Why. thumbnail

Voter Rolls Are Essential to Victory in the Election Integrity Fight. Here’s Why.

By J. Christian Adams

Voter rolls are the most important election integrity documents. They tell election officials who is eligible to vote. The voter rolls also tell election officials where to send mail ballots, so it is even more important that they are accurate in states that automatically send registered voters mail ballots.

It is essential that states have accurate and up-to-date voter rolls. This includes removing individuals who moved, have died, and duplicate registrants. Many states across the country are failing to do this essential voter list maintenance that is required by federal law.

When people pass away and remain on the voter rolls, it is a problem. That means election officials believe these individuals are still eligible to vote. There are people who will take advantage of these vulnerabilities in the electoral process and cast ballots for these deceased individuals.

For example, in Pennsylvania, the Public Interest Legal Foundation, of which I am president, turned over information to Pennsylvania authorities about individuals who had passed away but had vote credits in the 2020 election. This led to the arrest of an individual who voted for his dead wife.

Pennsylvania entered into a settlement agreement with us to remove over 20,000 deceased registrants from its voter roll. It is now a lot harder to vote from beyond the grave in Pennsylvania.

Unfortunately, this problem is bigger than just Pennsylvania. We sued Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson for failing to remove over 25,000 deceased registrants from the state’s voter roll. The court denied her motion to dismiss the case, and the litigation is still ongoing.

Just as many states are failing to remove deceased individuals, many are also failing to remove duplicate voter registrations. A duplicate registration happens when one person is registered to vote more than once. Often duplicate registrations are caused by a person being registered under variations of their name. Duplicate registrations matter because it provides the opportunity for individuals to vote more than once.

In Minnesota, we filed six Help America Vote Act complaints in six different counties for failing to remove a total of 515 duplicate registrations. And yes, government records do show that some of these individuals do have two vote credits in the 2020 election.

Unfortunately, the problem of duplicate registrations goes well beyond Minnesota. In a report released in 2020, the Public Interest Legal Foundation found nearly 38,000 duplicate registrants on America’s voter rolls. We even found a man in Pennsylvania who registered seven times. You read that right—seven.

Election officials in states across the country are not doing their jobs. Federal law requires deceased and duplicate voter registrations be removed from the voter roll.

Every inaccuracy on the voter roll presents an opportunity for fraud and abuse. This presents an even bigger problem in states that do automatic vote by mail. In these states, deceased and duplicate registrants will receive ballots. No one wants anyone voting from beyond the grave or more than once.

Accurate voter rolls are essential to election integrity. Election officials need to do the most basic aspect of their job, keeping voter rolls clean and accurate. We should not have to sue election officials to get them to do their jobs.

All You Ever Think About is Race thumbnail

All You Ever Think About is Race

By Bruce Bialosky

The Democrats always invoke thoughts in me of the 1984 Sparks song:

All you ever think about is race

All you ever think about exclusively

All you ever think about is race, all right with me

Of course, the song used a different word than “race” and, gosh, do I ever wish it were the good old days when all they thought about was sex. Where is John Kennedy when one needs him?

Is anyone genuinely surprised about the leaked tape becoming a national sensation? You know, the one where four “Hispanic” power brokers use some “choice” language while doing backroom dealing and attempting to get their team a bigger slice of the Los Angeles City Council? Certainly, some of the rhetoric was over-the-top and downright racist, but it just shows you the party of race sensitivity is really the party of racists.

Did you expect campfire sing-alongs of Peter, Paul, and Mary songs and s’mores.

When your entire party is based on racial divide and group identity then one can only expect the groups to be focused on their own needs, wants, and desires.

What do the four major subgroups of the Democrat party have in common? They are LGBTQ and their litany of alphabetic extensions; blacks; Hispanics (comprising people from 20+ countries); and Asians (likewise comprising people from 20+ plus countries). The Hispanics do not even like each other. Ask a Salvadoran about a Mexican or a Cuban sometime. Do you think the Koreans or the Vietnamese like the Chinese and vice-versa? Get real. What is the great mystery is why these why Asians and Hispanics are joined in the same party with this band of misfits.

This is what happens when you focus on race instead of people.

This has been manifesting itself for years. The Hispanics are an immigrant population that comes to America (hopefully legally), works hard, and does everything that Americans want and expect of immigrants. The same with the Asian immigrants. They look at some of the entitled Americans who are native-born and do not understand their sense of entitlement.

This was all exacerbated in the last two years since a sizable portion of America lost its mind over the improper police handling of a drug-infused, career criminal. The incident set off a rampage of violence by a group of people while others who work hard were losing their jobs amidst the violence. And some lost their lives.

David Brooks of the New York Times wrote, “At one point (now resigned Council head) Martinez vulgarly derided someone because ‘he’s with the blacks.’ You are either with one racial army or you’re with another.” Is this a shock when his newspaper encouraged racial division of the paper’s favored party?

What they have perpetuated is the giant lie that only white folks can be prejudiced. This incident is proof positive that anyone can dislike others for whatever ill-conceived reason. Charles Blow, the amazingly racist black writer for the New York Times, had his own characterization of the incident. “Intra-minority racism is complex in some ways but simple in others. Racism is perpetuated by those who benefit from it. Anti-black racism benefits those whose appearances are the least black. White supremacy benefits those who are white, or those who are white-adjacent in both appearance, culture and affect.”

Otherwise, even though “whitey” was not in the room and the participants were complaining about whites supporting the blacks, the root cause was white supremacy. How does the NYT keep this idiotic racist on the payroll?

Let us focus on what this meeting was about. It was about Council’s district reapportionment which is controlled by the Council members. Remember meetings in smoke-filled rooms to attempt to screw the other party? There was no talk of those nasty Republicans because they are virtually non-existent. In a recent debate between Los Angeles Mayoral contenders, Rick Caruso and Karen Bass, Bass’s main argument for her being elected was “Los Angeles is a Democrat city, and I am the true Democrat.”

This was all about the supposed coalition within the Democrat party. Politico recently broke down the status of the Council: 50% of the population is Hispanic but has only four of the fifteen council seats. Blacks are only 9% yet have three seats. Whites are 28% of the city and have six seats and, as Politico stated, Asians are 12% and are the only group with a proportional amount of having two seats. This is seriously impaired thinking.

This is sick. No discussion of why people voted for candidates. It is as though one can only be accurately represented if one belongs to one of these subgroups. Because of the nature of the incident, there has been no discussion regarding other parties of interest – women and the litany of gay subgroups. We must have a proper apportionment of members for them also as their quotas need to be filled. As I said, this is sick.

The geniuses running this party have produced a solution – an “independent” commission to take control of Los Angeles apportionment. There is no such thing as an “independent commission,” but we will skip that and conclude. Since the commission will not be doing apportionment based on a political ideology, it will rely solely on this: making sure the Democrat subgroups all get their proportionate number of seats on the City Council. In other words, the Commission will bake into the process the racial divides that were embodied in the behind-the-scenes seedy meeting. What an advancement for humans.

This is what happens when you have a city ruled by one party, particularly one run by Left-wing Democrats. It was so much more fun when all they thought about was sex.

Americans Identify Media As Democracy’s Biggest Threat thumbnail

Americans Identify Media As Democracy’s Biggest Threat

By The Geller Report

And their response proves them right. As if we needed more proof. They have destroyed the country.

Media assume the last few vestiges of the American constitutional republic are the top dangers to our freedom. But the American people know differently

American corporate media are somewhere between a “major” and “a minor threat to democracy.” Far from a crotchety, back-bencher sentiment, this is now the opinion of a majority of the American people, according to no less than corporate media icon The New York Times.

In a poll conducted by the Siena College Research Institute and the Times from Oct. 9-12, 74 percent of the “likely voters” polled believe “democracy is currently under threat,” and 83 percent believe the corporate media themselves are the threat.

While President Joe Biden, former President Donald Trump, Democrats, Republicans, the Supreme Court, mail-in-ballots, electronic voting machines, and even the Electoral College all polled terribly, the media outperformed them all, with 59 percent of likely voters calling them a “major threat to democracy,” and another 24 percent calling them a mere “minor threat.”

This was a surprise to Times’ chief political analyst, who admitted in his write-up that he’d been focused on the same “threats to democracy” his colleagues had been focused on: Republicans, as well as “undemocratic elements of American elected government like the Electoral College, gerrymandering and the Senate.”

To put it more bluntly (a difficult task), he’d assumed we all thought the last few vestiges of the American constitutional republic (the Electoral College and the Senate), plus gerrymandering and free political opposition were the top dangers to our freedom.

The American people, it seems, knew differently. Hallelujah! It’s never good to learn you have a deadly illness, but if there’s any shot of treating it in time, well — it’s best to know you have it. This is the case in our current situation: Trust in American institutions is at all-time lows, and deservedly so — broadly speaking, our institutions deserve less trust than at any time before.

Washington Post senior political reporter Aaron Blake reported on the findings later Monday morning. The problem, he wrote, is Democrats had failed “to make 2022 about the threat to democracy” posed by Republicans.

While a lot of Democrats, he lamented, believe Trump is a threat, they had failed to make that translate to the half of the country who support him. He was surprised to learn Americans outside of D.C., New York, and San Francisco think Democrats are a greater danger to democracy than Republicans, and even more surprised to learn independents agreed.

The answer, he claimed unironically, is for Democrats to double down on their messaging of calling their political opponents dangerous terrorists and fascists. Unsurprisingly, his analysis failed to note the corporate media he is a part of scored lower than anything else — self-awareness is rarely the “political analysts’” strength.

Later that very day, MSNBC host and former Bush White House staffer Nicolle Wallace claimed the Jan. 6 riot was the “deadliest attack on the U.S. Capitol in our, you know, in history,” bypassing both the British burning of the building and the deadly planned Flight 93 attack on the Capitol during the administration she’d later work for.

Disgraced former FBI Agent Peter Strzok agreed, saying American security forces should be “on the same sort of war footing” toward Republicans as they were toward al-Qaida.

“I mean, 9/11 was a tragedy … we still mourn to this day,” he said, “but when you look at something that is an attack on democracy — something that could actually bring about a fundamental change to American governance as we understand it — 9/11 is nothing compared to Jan. 6.”

The morning after the poll was released, former New York Times reporter Anand Giridharadas went on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” — a cable show that lectures Americans on morality and values every weekday morning, co-hosted by two people who left their spouses and children for each other, along with Mike Barnicle, who was fired from the Boston Globe for making up tear-jerkers about overcoming racism through children dying of cancer. That day, Giridharadas used his platform to claim America is in “a dead heat between democracy and fascism,” and said he’d spoken to a “cult deprogrammer” to help him understand Republicans’ “authoritarian menace.” The hosts nodded dumbly. MSNBC producers posted the clip to their website.

The next morning, Georgia candidate for governor Stacey Abrams went on the show. When Barnicle pointed out that voters care less about abortion than “livability, daily, hourly issues that they’re confronted with,” asking her what she can do to fight rising costs as governor, she said the answer was aborting more children.

“But let’s be clear,” she began. “Having children is why you’re worried about your price for gas, it’s why you’re concerned about how much food costs. For women, this is not a reductive issue.”

“Republicans,” Newsweek’s Anna Skinner claimed in a “fact-check” following the interview, “are targeting Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams for connecting abortion to inflation during an MSNBC interview.” She dubbed the widespread disgust “Misleading,” and claimed Abrams never really said what she said.

Mark Kelly Political Money Machine thumbnail

Mark Kelly Political Money Machine

By Neland Nobel

Mark Kelly seems out of touch with Arizona issues. On inflation, the border, gas prices, radical race and sexual themes in schools, he has been a loyal member of the Biden team. When it comes to supporting Joe Biden, few can sport higher scores than the 94% for Kelly.

But besides mechanically supporting everything the radical Democrats can throw in the legislative hopper, he has been busy raising money. Real busy. His greatest success in fact, has been the ability to raise huge sums of money.

The Phoenix Business Journal estimates that Kelly has raised over $75 million dollars, the second-greatest haul of any Senate race in the country.

During the same period, his Republican opponent Blake Masters has raised about $9.9 million.

While Arizona has grown, of course, in the scheme of things we are still small in population in relation to New York, California, Illinois, or Pennsylvania.

Therefore, you have to suspect most of this gargantuan flow of money is coming from out-of-state and rich left-wing interests. You simply can’t raise that kind of money in Tucson, his political base, because Tucson is actually one of the poorer cities in the country.

According to the Phoenix Business Journal, “Kelly’s campaign manager Emma Brown brushed off the outside spending, saying in a statement that as that money pours into the state “attacking Senator Kelly’s record, this campaign continues to be fueled by grassroots donors who contribute what they can, when they can.”

Grassroots donors? Does anyone really believe that kind of money can be raised in the barrios of Tucson?

To be fair, both parties view the race in Arizona as pivotal to control of the Senate, and out-of-state interests are likely to play a large role. However, it appears Kelly has a huge advantage in fundraising.

However, for Kelly to outraise Masters by 7:1 is pretty lopsided.  It makes one wonder how an incumbent with this kind of financial war chest could even be in trouble, which Kelly clearly is.  Perhaps even vast sums of money cannot cover up the ugliness of Biden’s failed policies. It seems that monetary lipstick on a pig still leaves a pig to contend with.

For Arizona voters, you have to ask yourself if it is acceptable to have your current Senator funded so lavishly by outside private interests. They are unlikely to be just giving their money away. They want something, and what they want is a compliant Senator who will act in accordance with his paymaster.

If that is the case, can he really represent the needs and aspirations of the citizens of Arizona?

We don’t think so. That is not how the world really works, does it?  You know from your own life, people just don’t give away money without wanting something in return.

Arizona is not unique, however. Kelly has been running neck and neck in the fundraising races with another new Senatorial candidate, the black radical Raphael Warnock of Georgia.

Democrats have truly become the party of the rich. Across the United States, Democrat Senate candidates are out-raising Republicans. In fact, in 8 of the 10 most expensive Senate campaigns, the Democrat is raising the most money.

The Democrat that used to represent the working man is no more. It has become the party of the ultra-rich, the tax-free foundations, and the special interests.

If you, as a Democrat voter, are uncomfortable with that, you should not reward this kind of political behavior. The Senate race should be determined by who has the best governing philosophy that will best serve the needs and interests of the people of their state. In the case of Arizona, that candidate is not Mark Kelly.

Throw the Bums Out: You Have the Power

By Mark T. Cicero

Election Day is coming, a ceasing of the endless and despicable character assassination ads, the ‘misinformation’, and vile vitriol issued forth regarding the candidates.

If you are to take them at face value then you will be left believing that Kari Lake is a fraud, an enemy of all women’s reproductive rights, an ’election denier’, and an enemy of our democratic republic. You would believe David Schweikert is an unrelenting and unapologetic felon who should be locked up, and Blake Masters is a dangerous right-wing racist ideologue who is an enemy of democracy, women, and America.

The bottom line is simply this: if you like sky-high gas prices, energy and food shortages, an open border, an endless supply of fentanyl killing our kids, and the most partisan federal agencies on record (think DOJ, DHS, IRA, and Department of Education to name just a few blatant examples), then you must vote for the Democrat ticket and keep the Democrats in power.

Let’s examine a few of the stark choices before us. There was a time in our country when justice and the rule of law were evenly applied, regardless of party affiliation.  In the past 20 months, since this administration took over, there has not been a single serious attempt to investigate and punish the thousands of rioters in the Summer of Love riots where 2,037 police officers were injured and dozens of Americans killed. While there were over 16,000 people arrested for these riots, over 90% of these charges were either not filed or dismissed and no Federal charges were ever handed out. Over 800 people were arrested for the events of January 6, most of which have received jail sentences or are still locked up and awaiting trial for Federal charges. The only person who lost their life on January 6th was an unarmed Ashley Babbitt, shot by a capital police officer who has never been investigated for discharging his weapon and killing her.

Our vaunted FBI and its overseer, the DOJ, and Attorney General Merritt Garland have seen fit to classify parents, who object to programming our children in public schools and preaching gender fluidity to their children, are classified as domestic terrorists.  (A weighty tome could be written to dive into this comprehensively.) The DOJ recently prosecuted Steve Bannon (an advisor to President Trump) for not complying with a Congressional subpoena. He is now sentence to three months in prison. Do you remember Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder? He never even faced charges for the very same refusal to answer a Congressional subpoena.

DHS Secretary Alejandro Majorkas has stated repeatedly that there is no crisis at our southern border! Conservatively, over 2 million illegal immigrants (a number greater than the population in 15 individual states) have crossed since Biden took office. The most public move he has taken was to publicly vilify equestrian border guards for merely doing their job – because it looked like it was bad. Meanwhile, over 100,000 American children and adults have been killed by fentanyl poisoning, mostly manufactured in China and then shipped across our southern border. There is wide agreement that the sex trafficking and rape taking place on our southern border are at record numbers.

Now let’s look at our economic policies which are destroying our economy with unbridled inflation. It begins with the ‘woke’ agenda revolving around “climate change”. This began as fear of ozone layer depletion, global warming, etc., which are claimed by radical environmentalists to represent an existential threat to our species and the planet. It has morphed into an all-out war on our energy industry. 20 months ago we were an ‘energy independent nation’ and we didn’t rely on our enemies to supply us with oil.  Now, we are begging our adversaries in Saudi Arabia and Venezuela to produce more oil, just so we can keep our lights on. Hundreds of thousands are protesting in Europe over severely rising prices and dangerous energy shortages as winter commences. Germany currently has no firewood for sale as it is the new source of heating there. They now turn off their traffic signals at night to save electricity. Yet Mr. Biden and his team keep telling us they are doing everything they can to increase our energy production – which can only be seen as ignorant or an intentional lie.

There is a myriad of problems that have been created since this administration has taken over. Several are detailed here, but there are many more.  It is depressing to enumerate them all.

The bottom line is this: if you enjoy a persistent decline in your standard of living, an intentional reduction of your liberties, the unprecedented invasion of illegal aliens, an unequal application of justice and constant energy shortages – then keep voting blue. If, however, you want to see a return to liberty, energy independence, and the rule of law, be sure to check all the red choices on your ballot for this election.

Biden’s handlers claim Iranian soldiers are on the ground in Ukraine aiding the Russians

By Jihad Watch

Biden’s handlers cannot necessarily be believed, but as there has been close cooperation between Russia and Iran for years, there is nothing inherently implausible about this. If it is true, there must be some quid pro quo, with Russia in some way aiding the Islamic Republic in putting down the freedom uprising inside Iran.

Iranian soldiers on ground in Ukraine aiding Russians, White House confirms

by Michael Starr, Jerusalem Post, October 20, 2022:

Iranian military personnel are on the ground in occupied Ukrainian territories providing aid to the Russian military in their ongoing invasion, the White House confirmed on Thursday night.

“We can confirm that Russian military personnel based in Crimea have been piloting Iranian UAVs and using them to conduct kinetic strikes across Ukraine in strikes against Kyiv, and in recent days we assess that Iranian personnel — Iranian military personnel — were on the ground in Crimea and assisted Russia in these operations,” said US State Department Spokesperson Ned Price….

“In spite of all this we’ve seen Russia and Iran continue to lie…continue to claim that they are not providing this material,” said Price on Thursday night.

The denials continued last weekend when Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian told his Portuguese counterpart that Iran did not sell drones or any weapons to either party to the conflict.

“We believe that arming either side will prolong the war, and we do not think that war is the right way,” Abdullahian said according to Maariv.

Price said that “indisputable proof” had emerged of Irain’s [sic] involvement in the Russia-Ukraine War and had been presented to the  UN Security Council on Wednesday.

Images of Iranian-Russian drones have emerged in recent days on social and mainstream media platforms. CNN was shown a largely intact reconnaissance drone by the Ukrainian military, which claimed that there had been efforts to cover up its Iranian origin….

It’s Really About Just One Thing Isn’t It? The Truth or Censorship! thumbnail

It’s Really About Just One Thing Isn’t It? The Truth or Censorship!

By Vlad Tepes Blog

1. British doctor on the Made-in-Boston chimeric virus which killed 80% of the Chimeric mice. (I think Alex Berenson may be totally full of it on this one. This newest gain-of-function work may really be dangerous.)

Given that the news is basically nothing but leader material for what you are to think about what you are to experience, I wonder a couple of things about this story. Assuming it is true, and our stalwart British doctor explains it is, when did they really make it? And when did they release it, and who funded it? Because if they told us this much, what they didn’t tell us has to be that its already in the public and widely spread. And although the doctor explains that the vaxx cannot provide any protection from it, and even more bravely he explains that natural immunity will be better than the vaxx but still not very good, its still probably meant to frighten people into massive vaxx uptake this fall and winter. Halloween come early.

2. Dr. Theresa Tam does her part to scare the crap out of everyone to prepare us for the usual BS. Masks, vaccines, no socializing. The new WEF normal. Lots of lying about the effectiveness of the mRNA gene therapies and most comically, claiming what MANY doctors and scientists say are vaxx damage symptoms are actually from  Covid.

3. Let’s compare and contrast a communist Canada and its propaganda with what the elected leader of a democratic province of Canada (at the moment) of a free minded people say about Covid and covid measures imposed by authoritarian governments.

As an aside, not that it has anything to do with results, but for fun I looked up the method of counting the votes in Alberta, who got a fairly rational, Western thinking more or less libertarian leader, and it appears to still use human scrutineers to determine who voted for what, as opposed to a closed-source computer that consistently seems to select far left authoritarian candidates. No relation though, between the vote counting and the results I’m sure. Rather, I’m sure there is no way to verify the results of closed-source Dominion voting machines.)

4. Judge grants depositions of Fauci, Jen Psaki and other high ranking Biden officials in case over ‘collusive relationship’ between administration and social media companies to ‘censor free speech’

A federal judge has ordered Dr. Anthony Fauci and a slew of other high-ranking Biden officials to be deposed over the government’s alleged collusion with social media companies to ‘censor free speech.’

On Friday, the court granted the request brought by Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt and Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, both republicans.

Both accused the Biden administration of having ‘worked hand-in-hand’ with social media giants to ‘censor’ news stories that reflect negatively on the White House and called it an ‘egregious attack on our First Amendment,’ a report said.

(We all must watch this closely. The results of this may show exactly how corrupt the judicial and executive branches might be)

5. Let me be as clear as I can about this. “Diagolon” is a joke. A meme. It was one Canadian veteran who came up with the idea for a new country where freedom minded classical Canadians from the West would form a new polity with Florida and other US Constitutionally minded people from the US. The resulting new polity on a map would have diagonal borders on both sides and as a joke, they called this new fictional place, “Diagolon.” It is as much a threat as is Lilliput. And as far as I know, (barring some other activity or charge about which I have no knowledge), the man they jailed for coming up with the meme is no more a threat than is Johnathan Swift. The groups he interacted with, also invented another nation called “Circulon”. It was to contain all the lefties who wanted to force everyone to take experimental and dangerous gene-therapies and force masks on people and forbid the sick from getting effective and safe therapeutics. I myself am looking at a map and connecting smaller communities hoping to make a new country without having to move anyone anywhere. I plan to call it, “Checkertopia”.

It’s was the Council for Govt of Canada that brought it up🙄🤦🏻‍♀️of course it was🤡 pic.twitter.com/zb2gRwfBEt

Thank you all for reading these pages and considering these ideas against the onslaught of enemy propaganda intended to obliterate all your concepts of reality as you have held them for your life so far.

In the video we posted yesterday of Dr. Chris Shoemaker, he gave some astonishing statistics in his speech. One of which, was that sperm counts dropped in men who had the mRNA gene-therapy shots, (allegedly for Covid19 although they seem to do nothing whatsoever to prevent it or lower the outcomes from having it), by a whopping 50% and for 6 months. So is it any surprise that the government wants us to take these shots every six months even though any protection you get from the shots lasts maybe 3 weeks?

This goes a long way towards the thesis of this site, that all policies from Covid measures, the forced vaxx, deifying homosexuality, making having children and marriage itself to be not worth the effort, and many many more policies and cultural shifts are really about one thing. Stopping people from having children. Watch his video again if you have already for more stunning statistics.

Covid Fraud: A Staggering $600 Billion thumbnail

Covid Fraud: A Staggering $600 Billion

By James Bovard

Editors’ Note: Looking back at the Covid lockdowns, the overall response looks even worse than before. At the time they were being imposed, The Prickly Pear opposed them on a variety of grounds; medical, economic, and because they violated human rights and freedom. Now in hindsight, it is clear lockdown, mask requirements, and forced immunizations, did not stop the spread of the virus but did succeed in trampling all over our liberties and dividing the public into warring camps. It obliterated what was left of medical ethics. It has touched off fearsome inflation and given us a vicious bear market that is mauling the retirement hopes of millions. It will also likely give us a severe recession. It wrecked our educational system which was already underperforming. Remember, this was not caused by Covid per se, but by the political and institutional response to Covid climaxing in lockdown. Increasingly, evidence shows the spending to supposedly repair the self-inflicted damage, was perhaps the biggest boondoggle in the history of the world, spawning fraud on a gargantuan scale. To be sure, much was done in a panic with insufficient information and financial controls.  But both political parties were involved and it would be nice to see at least some Republican leaders come forward and say it was a mistake. That would include former President Trump as well, although the press bullied him badly screaming listen to Fauci! Nevertheless, legislation was passed with much bipartisan support that now looks foolish. Can someone say it was a mistake and they are sorry?  And while we are at it, could we have a thorough investigation into the origins of the virus and the extent to which the US government itself subsidized the Chinese research? If we can’t learn the lessons from mistakes, then the pain of those mistakes goes for naught.

COVID fraud is at this point a redundant phrase. Congress appropriated more than $5 trillion for COVID relief but almost $600 billion may have been lost to fraud — an astounding 12%. Washington’s pandemic pratfalls are the greatest federal boondoggle of this century.

Prosecutors are having a turkey shoot nailing COVID crooks: More than 1,500 have been indicted and almost 500 have been convicted. On September 14, the Justice Department announced the creation of three COVID-19 fraud strike force teams.

When President Biden recently signed a law to extend the time to prosecute COVID fraud, he declared, “My message to those cheats out there is this: You can’t hide. We’re going to find you.” But the sheer amount of fraud makes it unlikely that the vast majority of thieves will be charged.

Policymakers acted as if waiving standard federal fraud protections would somehow thwart the COVID virus. On September 22, the Labor Department inspector general estimated that COVID-19 unemployment fraud amounted to $45 billion and could exceed $163 billion.

“Overseas organized crime groups flooded state unemployment systems with bogus online claims, overwhelming antiquated computer software benefits in blunt-force attacks that siphoned out millions of dollars,” NBC News reported.

Prison inmates, drug gangs, and Nigerian racketeers easily plundered the program. One swindler collected unemployment benefits from 29 different states. In the first year of the pandemic, Maryland detected more than 1.3 million fraudulent unemployment claims — equal to 20% of the state’s population

Beginning in June 2020, the feds distributed $813 billion in Paycheck Protection Program loans to businesses. President Donald Trump’s Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin boasted that PPP is “supporting an estimated 50 million jobs.” But many of those jobs existed solely in the imagination of political appointees.

The Small Business Administration (SBA), which administered the program, effectively told people, “Apply and sign and tell us that you’re really entitled to the money,” according to Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz. The SBA camouflaged its “don’t ask, don’t tell” loan standard by claiming to perform economic miracles. The SBA ludicrously boasted that PPP loans saved more jobs than the total number of employees in at least 15 industries.

Yet CBS News found that PPP loans had gone to more than a thousand “ghost businesses” in Markham, Illinois — indicative of a nationwide problem of deluging nonexistent companies with federal cash. The feds gave “loans to 342 people who said their name was ‘N/A,’” the New York Times reported.

Fraud permeated relief programs of practically every federal agency that gushered money. On September 20, the feds charged 47 people in Minnesota with looting $250 million from the federal child nutrition programs’ COVID aid. Prosecutors denounced the “brazen scheme of staggering proportions,” but federal and state bureaucrats should have stopped the pilfering from the start. “Feeding Our Future,” a nonprofit organization, pocketed $300,000 in subsidies in 2018 and a windfall of almost $200 million in 2021. Fraud snowballed because the US Department of Agriculture issued waivers to “suspend all on-site monitoring of providers” of children’s meals.

Instead of feeding hungry kids, tax dollars were pilfered using a list of phony recipients generated by the website listofrandomnames.com. (No wonder Feeding Our Future wasn’t invited to attend Biden’s White House Summit on Hunger last week.) When the state of Minnesota sought to cut off funding, Feeding Our Future sued, claiming the action “discriminated against a nonprofit that worked with racial minorities,” the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported. Leftist firebrand Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) received thousands of dollars in donations from individuals indicted in the scandal.

Fighting fraud is tricky for federal investigators when some politicians openly used COVID stimulus money to bribe voters. In the January 2021 Georgia runoff race for US Senate, the campaign of Democratic candidate Raphael Warnock distributed fliers declaring, “Want a $2,000 Check? Vote Warnock.” That promise helped Warnock win, sealing Democratic control of the Senate and opening the floodgates for trillions of dollars of additional Biden administration spending.

The single biggest COVID fraud will never show up in triumphal press releases issued by federal prosecutors. On August 24, Biden invoked the COVID-19 emergency to justify canceling $400 billion in student loans. A few weeks ago, Biden told 60 Minutes that the pandemic was over — thus invalidating his justification for loan forgiveness.

But Team Biden signaled that it was entitled to spend hundreds of billions of tax dollars to purchase Democratic votes in the midterm congressional elections regardless of the president’s admission.

Plenty of scoundrels will be convicted in the coming months for stealing COVID money. But it was the politicians of both parties who unleashed the reckless spending that left us with the soaring national debt, roaring inflation, and a fading mirage of prosperity.

Americans should never permit politicians to absolve themselves by uncorking geysers of tax dollars.
