Recovering the Right to Parent

By The Catholic Thing

John M. Grondelski: Pro-lifers should find ways of simplifying the message. Hold up an aspirin in a school board meeting, and ask why that, truly for healthcare, requires in schools parental knowledge and consent, but an abortion does not.

In the wake of Dobbs, pro-abortionists will leave no stone unturned to use – as they did before Roe – the most extreme cases, (like the 10-year-old Ohio girl who went to Indiana for an abortion) to tar the latest Supreme Court decision as “extremist,” while attempting to codify truly extremist abortion policy into law.

Today, as was true before Roe (1973), the vast majority of abortions – conservatively, at least 96 percent – are performed for social, economic, and other non-medical reasons.

Back then, that motivation was called “convenience,” a term clearly politically incorrect in contemporary discourse.  Calling abortion “reproductive health care” now is how abortion advocates seek to disguise the reality: by redefining “health” in ever more elastic and innovative ways.

We need to be clear about pro-abortion extremism.  While pro-abortionists will cite hard cases, their goal is not to debate them but to exclude any consideration of motivation from the abortion decision, a move necessary to shield the 96 percent-plus of abortions chosen that have nothing to do with rape, incest, or medical necessity.

Like the “no-fault divorce” movement, pro-abortionists aim to exclude any consideration of cause or reason for the “choice.”  These are moral positions disguised under seemingly neutral legal terminology. What they really mean is that no marriage should ever be immune from dissolution, no pregnancy from termination.

This is wholly in keeping with a morally relativistic viewpoint that refuses to examine causes, but wants only to deal with consequences.  Pre-teens should not be stopped from having sex; they should be issued condoms.  If they get pregnant, they obviously should have abortions.

And if parents get in the way, well, America’s public schools should assimilate these “children” to the mores of “liberal democracy,” not their parents’ “outdated” views.  After all, “children have rights!”

A full-on, frontal assault on this widespread propaganda is likely to be ineffective, largely because our culture has traded reasoned discourse for gripping soundbites, an exchange that benefits politicians even as it impoverishes political discourse.

So, I suggest an “incremental” approach, not because the rights of the unborn only deserve partial protection, but because the cultural corruption that has metastasized in the half-century-long culture of death following Roe will require baby steps to walk back.  But as with every major turn in the moral life, everything starts with small steps.

Parents currently filling in school forms must sign multiple waivers to allow medication to be given to a child by a school during school hours.

Yet among Roe’s bastard jurisprudential offspring was Planned Parenthood v. Danforth, which launched a long line of federal and state court decisions limiting a parent’s right to consent or even to know if an underage daughter seeks an abortion – via a “judicial bypass” provision, because a judge, unlike father, always knows best.

Those seeking to “codify Roe” admit their proposals continue this curtailing of parental rights. And their “codifications” of Roe don’t just allow children to get everyday drugs like aspirin at school. They effectively exclude parents from a minor daughter’s abortion (though the parents, not a federal judge or a Congressperson, will have to care for the girl if something goes wrong).

Even in the states that have “codified” abortion – places like New Jersey or New York – local right-to-life groups should consider reopening those debates using parental rights as a wedge.

The same might be tried in places like Alaska where state supreme courts have belatedly discovered “abortion rights” in state constitutions. Or a place like Virginia, where there seem to be possibilities for moving beyond the old status quo and into the new moment post-Dobbs.

Parental rights can help advance the debate. You might not want to ban abortion after week X, but you certainly would see the value of parental involvement.

If change can’t be achieved in a given state legislature, parents should press boards of education to adopt pro-life policies regarding teen pregnancy.  Find ways to emphasize the simplicity of the message.  Hold up an aspirin or an asthma inhaler, and ask why those items, truly for healthcare, require parental knowledge and consent, but abortion does not.

If you succeed but the state claims the right to preempt such local policies, it’s an opportunity to re-litigate parental rights in the courts, which again shines a public light on the usurpation of parental rights.

The growing parental-rights counterrevolution against efforts to use schools to advance liberal race and gender ideologies against the consent and without the knowledge of parents offers a winning political dynamic that pro-lifers should latch on to.

And remember: all this is no more than the advancing of two key principles of Catholic social thought: that the most vulnerable, including the unborn, deserve protection of their fundamental rights from conception; and that parents, not the state, are the primary teachers and guides of their children.

This is not politics; it’s basic theology.

Biden: ‘Greatest Lesson of September 11’ Is That We Should Not Offend Muslims

By The Geller Report

”The greatest lesson of September 11. Not that we will never again face a setback, but that in a moment of great unity we also had to face down the worst impulses, fear, violence, recrimination directed against Muslim Americans….” — Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., September 11, 2022

The Islamic terrorists and their motive were never mentioned or discussed. Fearfully, this is in accordance with the sharia (do not criticize Islam under penalty of death). And there you have, the ultimate victory of 9/11.

For those who are too young to remember. https://t.co/kCtohu9JVm

— Jason “Storm Chaser” Nelson™ (@Storm4Congress) September 11, 2022

Robert Spencer writes,

“Joe Biden read off his teleprompter at the 9/11 Memorial Ceremony at the Pentagon Sunday, and his speech was filled with the usual pious blather about how much he admires the heroic first responders who never cross his mind on the other 364 days of the year. In the course of his semi-coherent meanderings, which WhiteHouse.gov had to clean up with several strikethroughs and corrections in the official transcript, Old Joe informed us what the “greatest lesson of September 11” was. Was it that death can come at any moment, so we should value life and cherish our loved ones? Not even close. Was it that we should be willing to pay any price to ensure that free societies survive and prosper? This senescent authoritarian wasn’t about to say that. No, Biden’s “greatest lesson of September 11” was that we must not be unkind to Muslims. Yes, really. And indeed, we shouldn’t. But is that really the primary takeaway from the murder of nearly 3,000 people by Islamic jihad terrorists?”

There is more. Read the rest here.

Experts from Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Other Top Universities: ‘Unethical’ Vaccine 98 Times Worse Than Covid

By The Geller Report

Too little, too late. Where were they when it mattered?

By Jennifer Margulis and Joe Wang, The Epoch Time, September 10, 2022

A team of nine experts from Harvard, Johns Hopkins, and other top universities has published paradigm-shifting research about the efficacy and safety of the COVID-19 vaccines and why mandating vaccines for college students is unethical.

This 50-page study, which was published on The Social Science Research Network at the end of August, analyzed CDC and industry-sponsored data on vaccine adverse events, and concluded that mandates for COVID-19 boosters for young people may cause 18 to 98 actual serious adverse events for each COVID-19 infection-related hospitalization theoretically prevented.

The paper is co-authored by Dr. Stefan Baral, an epidemiology professor at Johns Hopkins University; surgeon Martin Adel Makary, M.D., a professor at Johns Hopkins known for his books exposing medical malfeasance, including “Unaccountable: What Hospitals Won’t Tell You and How Transparency Can Revolutionize Heath Care”; and Dr. Vinayak Prasad, a hematologist-oncologist, who is a professor in the UCSF Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, as well as the author of over 350 academic and peer-reviewed articles.

But among this team of high-profile international experts who authored this paper, perhaps the most notable is Salmaan Keshavjee, M.D., Ph.D., current Director of the Harvard Medical School Center for Global Health Delivery, and professor of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Keshavjee has also worked extensively with Partners In Health, a Boston-based non-profit co-founded by the late Dr. Paul Farmer, on treating drug-resistant tuberculosis, according to his online biography.

Risking Disenrollment

As the study pointed out, students at universities in America, Canada, and Mexico are being told they must have a third dose of the vaccines against COVID-19 or be disenrolled. Unvaccinated high school students who are just starting college are also being told the COVID-19 vaccines are “mandatory” for attendance.

These mandates are widespread. There are currently 15 states which continue to honor philosophical (personal belief) exemptions, and 44 states and Washington, D.C. allow religious exemptions to vaccines. But even in these states, private universities are telling parents they will not accept state-recognized vaccine exemptions.

Based on personal interviews with some half a dozen families, The Epoch Times has learned that administrators at some colleges and universities are informing students that they have their own university-employed medical teams to scrutinize the medical exemptions submitted by students and signed by private doctors. These doctors, families are being told, will decide whether the health reasons given are medically valid.

5 Ethical Arguments Against Mandated Boosters

Though rarely reported on in the mainstream media, COVID-19 vaccine boosters have been generating a lot of controversy.

While some countries are quietly compensating people for devastating vaccine injuries, and other countries are limiting COVID-19 vaccine recommendations, the United States is now recommending children 12 and older get Pfizer-BioNTech’s Omicron-specific booster, and young adults over the age of 18 get Moderna’s updated shot.

At the same time, public health authorities in Canada are suggesting Canadians will need COVID-19 vaccines every 90 days.

Against a backdrop of confusing and often changing public health recommendations and booster fatigue, the authors of this new paper argue that university booster mandates are unethical. They give five specific reasons for this bold claim:

1) Lack of policymaking transparency. The scientists pointed out that no formal and scientifically rigorous risk-benefit analysis of whether boosters are helpful in preventing severe infections and hospitalizations exists for young adults.

2) Expected harm. A look at the currently available data shows that mandates will result in what the authors call a “net expected harm” to young people. This expected harm will exceed the potential benefit from the boosters.

3) Lack of efficacy. The vaccines have not effectively prevented transmission of COVID-19. Given how poorly they work—the authors call this “modest and transient effectiveness”—the expected harms caused by the boosters likely outweigh any benefits to public health.

4) No recourse for vaccine-injured young adults. Forcing vaccination as a prerequisite to attend college is especially problematic because young people injured by these vaccines will likely not be able to receive compensation for these injuries.

5) Harm to society. Mandates, the authors insisted, ostracize unvaccinated young adults, excluding them from education and university employment opportunities. Coerced vaccination entails “major infringements to free choice of occupation and freedom of association,” the scientists wrote, especially when “mandates are not supported by compelling public health justification.”

The consequences of non-compliance include being unenrolled, losing internet privileges, losing access to the gym and other athletic facilities, and being kicked out of campus housing, among other things. These punitive approaches, according to the authors, have resulted in unnecessary psychosocial stress, reputation damage, loss of income, and fear of being deported, to name just a few.

22,000 to 30,000 Previously Unaffected Young Adults Must be Vaccinated to Prevent Just 1 Hospitalization

The lack of effectiveness of the vaccines is a major concern to these researchers. Based on their analysis of the public data provided to the CDC, they estimated that between 22,000 and 30,000 previously uninfected young adults would need to be boosted with an mRNA vaccine to prevent just a single hospitalization.

However, this estimate does not take into account the protection conferred by a previous infection. So, the authors insisted, “this should be considered a conservative and optimistic assessment of benefit.”

In other words, the mRNA vaccines against COVID-19 are essentially useless.

Mandated Booster Shots Cause More Harm Than Good

But the documented lack of efficacy is only part of the problem. The researchers further found that per every one COVID-19 hospitalization prevented in young adults who had not previously been infected with COVID-19, the data show that 18 to 98 “serious adverse events” will be caused by the vaccinations themselves.

These events include up to three times as many booster-associated myocarditis in young men than hospitalizations prevented, and as many as 3,234 cases of other side effects so serious that they interfere with normal daily activities.

At a regional hospital in South Carolina, the desk clerk sported a button that read: “I’m Vaccinated Against COVID-19” with a big black check mark on it.

“What about the boosters?” a hospital visitor asked. “It’s starting to seem like we need too many shots.”

“It does seem like a lot,” the clerk agreed. “It’s hard to know what to do.” But she did have some advice for the visitor: “Just keep reading and educating yourself, so you can make an informed decision.”

This new paper is essential reading for anyone trying to decide if they need more vaccines. The authors concluded their study with a call to action. Policymakers must stop mandates for young adults immediately, be sure that those who have already been injured by these vaccines are compensated for the suffering caused by mandates, and openly conduct and share the results of risk-benefit analyses of the vaccines for various age groups.

These measures are necessary, the authors argued, to “begin what will be a long process of rebuilding trust in public health.”

Except During the Trump Administration, the U.S. has Always Blamed Israel thumbnail

Except During the Trump Administration, the U.S. has Always Blamed Israel

By Jihad Watch

Axios reported: U.S. urges Israel to take steps to stabilize Palestinian Authority.

It’s an old story; the Muslim Arabs cause trouble, and Israel is blamed. Two examples of this pattern:

  1. After the intifada in 2001 in which 1038 Israelis were murdered, President George W. Bush sent Senator George Mitchell to Israel on a fact-finding mission. He produced the Mitchell Report on April 30, 2001, which recommended, inter alia, the freezing of Israel settlement activity … and other Israeli confidence-building measures, and
  2. Every time Hamas fires rockets by the hundreds at Israel civilians, Israel is blamed. The solution demanded is that Israel negotiate a ceasefire and make concessions.

The same applies to the situation in Israel and Judea and Samaria.

The Government of Israel has documented the Wave of Terror 2015-2022.

This year alone it records: 1328 attacks, 19 deaths and 51 injured.

The Oslo Accords provide that in Area A, the Palestinian Authority (PA) is entirely responsible for security; in Area B, the PA and Israel have joint responsibility; and in Area C, Israel is solely responsible.

As IDF Major General (res.) Gershon Hacohen explained on the Mideast News Hour this week, over the past year, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) has transformed the Jenin area into a Gaza-like terror enclave in northern Samaria. It exerts control over Jenin and all areas of the region. Recently, Iran has funded the formation of joint PIJ, Fatah, PFLP and Hamas terror cells throughout Judea and Samaria.

Khaled Abu Toameh wrote on this situation a few months back. Jenin: Despite economic prosperity, PA failed to disarm militiamen:

Since then, (2002) the armed groups in the camp and other places in the Jenin area have managed to rebuild a vast network of terrorist infrastructure. The PA was not eager to combat the phenomenon and often chose to look the other way.

The PA leaders did not want to be accused by Palestinians of cracking down on “the fine men of the revolution,” especially in a place like the Jenin refugee camp, which became a symbol of the Palestinian “struggle” against Israel.

Although most of the incitement is taking place on social-media platforms, it is also coming straight from the horse’s mouth: Palestinian leaders in Ramallah, the Gaza Strip, Qatar and Lebanon.

Axios noted:

The Biden administration urged the Israeli government to take urgent steps to stabilize the Palestinian Authority.

U.S. officials are deeply concerned that the deteriorating situation in the West Bank and an increase in violence could lead to a major crisis.

At the same time, an economic crisis has made it hard for the PA to pay salaries, further eroding its legitimacy and control in major cities like Hebron, Jenin and Nablus.

And true to form, Biden sent Barbara Leaf, the US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, to Israel to address the developing crises with Israel and the PA.

No one cares more about the developing crises than Israel, so why doesn’t the US stay out of it? Instead, it micromanages the situation to make sure that Israel does what the US wants.

As for the “economic crises,” they are all due to the PA’s making.

The Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs (JCPA) reports:

The Palestinian Authority’s legislation and allocations of monthly salaries and benefits rewarding imprisoned and released terrorists, and the families of “Martyrs,” amount to $300 million annually. This financial reward clearly demonstrates the PA’s institutional commitment to sponsoring terror against Israel.

To deal with this policy, The US Congress passed into law the Taylor Force Act in 2017, which withholds US aid to the PA until:

the Secretary of State certifies in writing to the appropriate congressional committees that the Palestinian Authority, the Palestine Liberation Organization, and any successor or affiliated organizations—

(A) are taking credible steps to end acts of violence against Israeli citizens and United States citizens [..]

(B) have terminated payments for acts of terrorism against Israeli citizens and United States citizens to any individual, after being fairly tried, who has been imprisoned for such acts of terrorism and to any individual who died committing such acts of terrorism, including to a family member of such individuals;

(C) have revoked any law, decree, regulation, or document authorizing or implementing a system of compensation for imprisoned individuals [..]

(D) are publicly condemning such acts of violence and are taking steps to investigate or are cooperating in investigations of such acts to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Why isn’t Barbara Leaf tasked with forcing the PA to comply with this US law? Instead, she is tasked with getting Israel to stabilize the PA, which is increasingly weakening and losing its control in Area A.

The Axios report described the situation in detail:

…the PA President Abu Mazen has accused Israel of being responsible for undermining his ability to control his territory due to both the economic hardships caused by Israeli incursions to thwart terrorist attacks, as well as the incursions, themselves.

The PA claims that they are unable to pay the salaries of their Security forces due to the economic crisis associated with the night time Israel raids which he claims are “eroding its legitimacy and control in major cities like Hebron, Jenin and Nablus”.

Shin Bet director Ronen Bar, who leads the Israeli domestic security service in charge of gathering intelligence in the West Bank and Gaza, told Leaf he is highly concerned about the PA’s situation and the ability of the Palestinian security forces to function, Israeli sources briefed on the meeting said. Palestinian leadership blames Israel for the weakened security forces.

“The situation on the ground is worse than it seems,” Bar told Leaf, according to the Israeli sources. He claimed that Israel doesn’t want to send the military for incursions into Palestinian cities, but has no choice due to increased violence….

To make matters worse, the Biden administration is demanding that Israel “closely review its policies and practices on rules of engagement.” It not only tells Israel what to do, but how to do it.

The US policy is not dictated by the desire to achieve peace. It weds itself to the unworkable and unattainable two-state solution (TSS). Underneath it all is the goal of weakening the State of Israel.

Caroline Glick interviewed Major General Gershon Hacohen on her Mideast News Hour, on the subject of the terrorism in Judea and Samaria. He blamed it all on the Oslo Accords, which were intended to achieve separation of Jews and Arabs. This is otherwise known as the TSS, though the accords never called for that “solution.” Hacohen said that this solution is based on six assumptions, all of which have been proven false.

  1. Separation is the solution. We separated from Gaza and Jenin and got terror in return.
  2. Separation is reversible, or so the late Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin advised, but the US won’t allow it.
  3. Withdrawal gains Israel international legitimacy. Not true. Every time we enter Area A or Gaza to apprehend terrorists, we lose international legitimacy. The world claims our intervention is the problem, not the terrorism.
  4. Can achieve demilitarization. Demonstrably false. Look at Gaza or Jenin.
  5. Prosperity brings peace. Not true, Jenin is the richest city in Judea and Samaria, but is the center of terrorism and the most deadly
  6. Israel and PA will be partners. On the contrary, the PA is promoting terrorism, not fighting it.

It is time to abandon the TSS.

Caroline Glick just wrote an article entitled Biden’s Pro-Iran Alignment, in which she makes a very strong case for Biden’s real agenda.

Abu Akleh [the Arab journalist who was recently killed] was seized on by the administration as a means to force Israel to effectively cede control over Judea and Samaria to Iran’s terror proxies.

Rather than walk away from the talks (between Lebanon and Israel in which US is mediating) in response to Hezbollah’s threats, the U.S. has used them as a means of forcing Israel to make more concessions to Hezbollah.

This realignment has moved into high gear as the administration works overtime to entice Iran to agree to a new nuclear deal.

Finally, the deal endangers Israel’s survival because it is a testament to the Biden administration’s betrayal of the U.S.-Israel alliance on behalf of Iran.

Israel must stiffen its resolve to act in its own best interest. It is not enough to say “no” on the big things such as the impending US-Iran deal, but also on the little things, such as how to manage the Palestinians. In short, it should crush the Palestinian resistance in Judea and Samaria and in Gaza. It should liberate itself from the Oslo Accords and the TSS. Once done, it should extend sovereignty to at least 30% of Area C, as envisioned by Trump. It should refuse to give Lebanon what it has no right to demand.

Not mentioned in this article is the fact that both Europe and the US are complicit in enabling illegal Arab construction in Area C, contrary to the Oslo Accords.

According to Regavim, there are “80,000 illegal Palestinian structures in Area C of Judea and Samaria, the area ostensibly under Israeli civil and security jurisdiction.”

They must be destroyed with or without the approval of the High Court.

Republicans Aren’t Going to Save America, It’s Up To US!

By Kelleigh Nelson

“Voters, whatever their political views, should rise up against politicians who want to dilute the Bill of Rights to perpetuate their tenure in office.” — Ted Olson, former Solicitor General

“When once a Republic is corrupted, there is no possibility of remedying any of the growing evils but by removing the corruption and restoring its lost principles; every other correction is either useless or a new evil.” —  Thomas Jefferson

“War is when the government tells you who the bad guy is. Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.” — Benjamin Franklin

“The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self-appointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.”— James Madison, Federalist 47, 1788

Mark Twain tells us, “The only difference between reality and fiction is that fiction needs to be credible.”  Had an author written what has happened to America just over the last six years, no one would believe it.  The yarn would be just too far out to have any credence whatsoever.  But we’re living it!

In his recent speech from Independence Hall in Philadelphia, our illegitimate dementia ridden president walked to the podium holding hands with his wife.  I don’t recall any other president’s wife doing such.  Maybe she didn’t want him to veer off from his intended destination.

Jonathan Turley commented that the backdrop of Uncle Joe’s speech looked like he was yammering at us from Dante’s Inferno.  And the two Marines…when the military is supposed to be apolitical.  However, with General Mark Milley, who many consider a traitor, Chief of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, we can disabuse ourselves of their impartiality.

Joshua Charles tweeted that Biden’s speech was the single most toxic, inflammatory and hypocritical speech by an American President he was aware of.  I fully agree.

Democracy vs. Republic

Biden extolled the wonders of our Constitution and Declaration of Independence and then told us that equality and democracy are under attack.

First and foremost, we are not a democracy, we are a Representative Republic. There is a massive difference, and I would be absolutely thrilled if “democracy” was actually under attack.  Why?  Because it is mob rule, because it is never mentioned in either of our founding documents, because it is a treacherous form of government.

Our founders knew that in its pure form democracy is ultimately dangerous.  The writings and sermons from our founding era are replete with warnings of this fact:

  • Alexander Hamilton wrote, “If we incline too much to democracy we shall soon shoot into a monarchy, or some other form of a dictatorship.”
  • Thomas Jefferson lamented that “a democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where 51 percent of the people may take away the rights of the other 49.”
  • James Madison argued that democracies “have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.”
  • John Adams concluded that democracy “never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.”

Yet, Joseph Biden and his democrat comrades all call us a democracy, and the same goes for nearly all but a handful of republicans.

More democracy they scream!  Even calling for the abolition of some of our founders’ safety mechanisms.  They propose eliminating the Electoral College and blocking the confirmation of “unpopular” Supreme Court Justices.  We would never have had Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas.  They also want to tie representation in the U.S. Senate to state populations, rather than equal representation. And we know where that would lead.

Most of our institutions were designed to thwart the malevolent and pernicious effects of too much democracy and are purposely designed to be anti-democratic.  They are essential safeguards for individual liberty, something today’s comrades in both parties would love to do away with as their goals are collectivism, i.e., Marxism.

Psychological Projection

Our illegitimate president continued by saying, “Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.”  The Marxist approach taught by Hillary Clinton’s hero, Saul Alinsky … blame your enemy for what you yourself are doing.

Biden continued by targeting constitutional conservatives who supported Donald Trump.

Biden continued, “Let me speak as plainly as I can to the nation about the threats we face, about the power we have in our own hands to meet these threats.  Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.”

Oh yeah Joe?  You targeted your opposition just like any good totalitarian dictator would do, and you incited violence by saying any true constitutionalist is a threat to America!

Biden’s puppeteers plan a crackdown on his political opponents by the security state, i.e, the FBI, which has become, let’s face it…America’s Sturmabteilung, (Storm Troopers), also known as “Brown Shirts.”

In her latest substack article, Sidney Powell commented, “The left is raiding, scaring, silencing, intimidating and bankrupting the opposition.”  And yes, according to Steve Bannon and Harmeet Dillon it’s true, 35 to 50 FBI raids occurred on senior MAGA/Trump allies.

The speech was violent, demonstrably evil, and attacked more than half of the American electorate.  Shades of 1861 come to mind where 700,000 Americans died at the hands of their fellow citizens.

Silent Republicans

Where are the Republicans as a party?  Only a handful stand firm against the onslaught of Stalinist tactics.

Where is the outcry over Biden’s encouragement of violence against fellow Americans?

Where is the outcry about the January 6th participants languishing in prison for over 20 months?

Where is the outcry over the hundreds of thousands who have died or been disabled by the mRNA clot shots? There are now over 900 dead athletes and 1323 athlete cardiac arrests.

Where is the outcry over the sieve at the southern border?  Biden took an oath to defend this country against invasion, yet he invites it.

Where is the outcry over the horrid targeting of Trump supporters in Biden’s vile speech?

Where is the outcry over the fraudulently named Inflation Reduction Act which does not reduce spending but creates more climate change laws and restrictions?

Where is the outcry over the high prices of food, gasoline, and everyday essentials?

Where is the outcry over military prosecutors negotiating a plea deal with 9/11 architect Khalid Sheikh Mohammed?

Where is the outcry over Iran getting billions of dollars (again) before Congress can even review the new nuclear deal?

And why have we not heard one Republican criticize Biden’s lawmaking Executive Orders when that function belongs only to Congress?

There is so much more.

Why do the Republicans sit on their hands and never raise their voices?  Why?  Because most of them hated Trump just as much as the Dems did.

While this fascist regime shreds our Constitution, there is silence from the Republican Party.

They are silent because they are in bed with the left.  Have you ever seen them fight like the Democrat Party fights when they’re not in power?  The Republican Party guarantees all Democrat nominees will be voted into power, whereas the Democrat Party fights tooth and nail to keep true patriotic Americans from any seats of power.  Remember Joe Biden’s smear campaign against Clarence Thomas in his 1991 hearings to become a Justice of the Supreme Court?

And there was a long list of Republicans who told Trump to concede the election and not fight the obvious vote fraud.  They wanted him gone.  These same republicans email us for money and you can’t get rid of them no matter how many times you unsubscribe.  They keep coming back.

Biden apparently has a plan to win the 2022 electionsTrue the Vote’s Catherine Englebrecht and Gregg Phillips discussed the Chinese infiltration of U.S. election software.

The Goldwater Campaign

Having been a Goldwater girl when Barry Goldwater was running for president in 1964, I watched as “neo-conservative” elements moved to encircle and control his campaign.  One of his speechwriters, unbeknownst to him, was a member of the Students for a Democratic Society, led by militant communists.  Efforts of men within the party who did not want Goldwater elected, including the Rockefellers and George Romney (Senator Willard Mitt Romney’s father) were comfortable working with and befriending people like Saul Alinsky (Hillary Clinton met Alinsky in 1961), the Association for Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) and similar community activist groups promoting a socialist agenda.

At the time, the establishment retained its control over the party leadership and purposely scuttled the campaign.  To the Victor go the Myths and Monuments by Arthur R. Thompson tells the story of a group of people from Europe who banded together to subvert America’s liberty, government and religious system.

Irving Kristol and other “former” Trotskyite communists had infiltrated the Republican Party; they were leftists brought in to dilute and divide what was left of Republican constitutionalists.  William F. Buckley and Kristol did their best to destroy true patriotic and constitutional conservatives with their subtle socialist dogma.  He supported liberal causes, from abortion, drugs, and pornography, to the Panama Canal giveaway.

John McManus’ book, William F. Buckley Jr.: Pied Piper for the Establishment, tells the entire sordid tale.  Buckley was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), a CIA agent and member of Yale Skull and Bones Society.

In fact, the Republican Party has done all it can to ensure that constitutionalists’ influence is negated or isolated within the party.  And of course, the average party activists or voters never see what goes on behind the scenes.

Tragedy and Hope

For nearly 60 years, we have seen a failure of the Republican Party to fight the assault on freedom.  We’ve called them weak, when in fact they are players in the same evil game.  When I look at Senator McConnell and Congressman Kevin McCarthy, I think, “Hell no, they won’t save anything except themselves.”

In 2014, I wrote a 23-part series entitled, Enemies on the Left, False Friends on the Right.  The following was mentioned in the first article of the series.

In 1966, Carroll Quigley wrote his massive book Tragedy and Hope, A History of the World in our Time. Tragedy being that so many people have to die, and Hope being the New World Order. He was the official historian for the CFR and was privileged to study the elites’ plans for the world for nearly two years. Quigley taught at the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University from 1941 to 1976, and was Bill Clinton’s mentor. On page 1247 of his book, he wrote this:

The chief problem of American political life for a long time has been how to make the two Congressional parties more national and international. The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can “throw the rascals out” at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. The policies that are vital and necessary for America are no longer subjects of significant disagreement, but are disputable only in details of procedure, priority, or method …..Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policies.

This is what exists today in America! We have one party with one agenda! This book had its first printing in 1966. The powers that be (Milner, Rhodes, the CFR, etc.) were so horrified that Quigley had exposed so many secrets, the book was not reprinted, and Macmillan Publishing destroyed the plates. It wasn’t until 1974 that Jack Meserole received permission from Quigley, reprinted the book, and sold it for his cost. Quigley laughed at the elitists because he knew the noose was so tight around the necks of Americans that even with the truth of his book, nothing would change.

Conclusion

We have seen the hatred of both left and right for anyone who would challenge the status quo.  Too many Republican politicians do not believe in the conspiracy that people on the left will infiltrate their organization to scuttle any chance of a viable candidate having an effective level of influence.  We’ve seen it time and again.  The enemies of freedom surround those who could make a difference and ultimately destroy.

Our once great nation has come under the control of deranged totalitarians, of power-seeking sociopaths who hate America, her people, our Constitution, and especially our Judeo-Christian culture.  Our very words and thoughts are subject to censorship and labeled as hate speech, misinformation or conspiracy theories.  We are now called extremists.

Arthur Thompson, former CEO of the John Birch Society tells us, “What is taught today is that a belief in conspiracies is shallow thinking, and perhaps even paranoia.  In 1776, it was taught as fact.  When two or more people plan in secret to affect an evil purpose, it is the definition of a conspiracy, whether you like the word or not.”

New Zealand Prime Minister and young global leader Jacinda Ardern said, “government is your single source of truth. Unless you hear it from us, it’s not the truth.” She also tells us we should dismiss anything else we hear unless issued by government.

No difference than what we’re hearing from our illegitimate president and his administration, what is being foisted upon us with censorship throughout mainstream and social media.

We are in a spiritual war, a war between good and evil.

Arthur Thompson ended his book with these words, “The Conspiracy does not care what you know, only what you do about what you know.”

What will you do?

Electric Cars Are Not “Zero-Emission Vehicles” thumbnail

Electric Cars Are Not “Zero-Emission Vehicles”

By James D. Agresti

While praising California’s decision to ban the sale of new gasoline-powered cars by 2035, Governor Gavin Newsom declared that this will require “100% of new car sales in California to be zero-emission vehicles” like “electric cars.” In reality, electric cars emit substantial amounts of pollutants and may be more harmful to the environment than conventional cars.

Toxic Pollution

The notion that electric vehicles are “zero-emission” is rooted in a deceptive narrative that ignores all pollutants which don’t come out of a tailpipe. Assessing the environmental impacts of energy technologies requires measuring all forms of pollution they emit over their entire lives, not a narrow slice of them. To do this, researchers perform “life cycle assessments” or LCAs. As explained by the Environmental Protection Agency, LCAs allow for:

“the estimation of the cumulative environmental impacts resulting from all stages in the product life cycle, often including impacts not considered in more traditional analyses (e.g., raw material extraction, material transportation, ultimate product disposal, etc.). By including the impacts throughout the product life cycle, LCA provides a comprehensive view of the environmental aspects of the product or process and a more accurate picture of the true environmental trade-offs in product and process selection.”

LCAs are subject to multiple levels of uncertainty, but an assessment published by the Journal of Cleaner Production in 2021 shatters the notion that electric cars are cleaner than conventional ones, much less “zero emission.” The LCA found that manufacturing, charging, operating, and disposing of electric vehicles produce more of every major category of pollutants than conventional cars. This includes:

“an increase in fine particulate matter formation (26%), human carcinogenic (20%) and non-carcinogenic toxicity (61%), terrestrial ecotoxicity (31%), freshwater ecotoxicity (39%), and marine ecotoxicity (41%) relative to petrol vehicles.”

Foreshadowing that result, a 2018 report by the European Environment Agency warned that studies on the “human toxicity impacts” of electric vehicles were “limited” and that electric cars “could be responsible for greater negative impacts” than conventional cars.

Similarly, a 2018 article in the journal Environmental Research Letters stated that a failure to account for the “environmental implications” of mining lithium to make batteries for electric cars “would directly counter the intent” of “incentivizing electric vehicle adoption” and “needs to be urgently addressed.”

The 2021 paper in the Journal of Cleaner Production has now addressed this issue, and it shows electric cars emit more toxic pollution than gasoline-powered cars. Yet, politicians who embraced the electric car agenda before comprehensive data was available continue to plow ahead in spite of the facts.

Local Pollution

Regardless of overall toxic emissions, the European Environment Agency points out that electric vehicles “potentially offer local air quality benefits” because pollution from their manufacturing, charging, and disposal is usually emitted away from densely populated areas.

Simply stated, switching to electric cars transfers pollution from urbanites in wealthy nations to poor countries that mine and manufacture their components and to communities with power plants and disposal sites. In the words of the 2021 paper in the Journal of Cleaner Production, this “transfer of environmental burdens” causes “workers and ecosystems in third countries” to be “exposed to higher rates of toxic substances.”

China dominates the global supply chains for green energy components not merely because of cheap labor but because they have lax environmental standards that tolerate the pollution these products create. Thus, China supplies 78% of the world’s solar cells, 80% of the world’s lithium-ion battery chemicals, and 73% of the world’s finished battery cells.

Highlighting the implications of “China’s role in supplying critical minerals for the global energy transition,” a 2022 study by the Brookings Institute found that “continued reliance on China” will “increase the risk that sourcing of critical minerals will cause or contribute to serious social or environmental harms.” It also documents that the U.S. and other wealthy nations have been unwilling to accept these harms on their own soils.

Even if Newsom disregards the health of poor and slave laborers in other nations, electric vehicles are still not “zero-emission” for the people of California. This is because electric vehicles emit pollutants from road, tire, and brake wear, and these forms of pollution are worse in electric vehicles than standard cars. Per a 2016 paper in the journal Atmospheric Environment, “Electric vehicles are 24% heavier than their conventional counterparts,” and this creates more “non-exhaust emissions” like “tire wear, brake wear, road surface wear and resuspension of road dust.”

Greenhouse Gases

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the primary greenhouse gas emitted by human activity, and the 2021 paper in the Journal of Cleaner Production found that electric cars emit 48% less CO2 than gasoline-powered ones. Although this is lower, it is still far from “zero-emission.”

Moreover, a study published by the Ifo Institute of Germany in 2019 found that an electric Tesla Model 3 emits 11% to 28% more CO2 over its lifespan than a diesel Mercedes C220D. Again, LCAs are subject to uncertainty, and no single study is an end-all, but this clearly proves that electric vehicles are far from emission-free.

With no regard for those facts, Gavin Newsom asserts that “California now has a groundbreaking, world-leading plan to achieve 100% zero-emission vehicle sales” that will help “solve this climate crisis.”

Contrary to Newsom’s claim of a “climate crisis,” a wide array of environmental and human welfare measures related to climate change have stayed level or improved for more than three decades. This includes foliage productivity, extinction rates, forest cover, agricultural production, coastal flooding, rainfall and droughts, hurricanes, tornadoes, and extreme weather fatalities. These empirical facts refute more than 30 years of failed predictions by global warming alarmists.

Newsom then adds another layer of deception by stating that the plan reduces “dangerous carbon emissions” that “pollute our communities.” This misportrays CO2 as a toxic, dirty substance. In reality, it is an organic, colorless, non-carcinogenic gas that has no toxic effects on humans until concentrations exceed at least 6 times the level in Earth’s atmosphere.

Referring to CO2 as “carbon” is also unscientific. That’s because CO2 is not carbon, just like H2O (water) is not hydrogen. There are more than 10 million different carbon compounds, and calling CO2 “carbon” conflates this relatively innocuous gas with highly noxious substances like carbon monoxide and black carbon.

In summary, there is no reliable evidence that greenhouse gas reductions from electric cars will benefit anyone.

Consequences

Like Newsom, the California Air Resources Board boasts that “100% of new cars and light trucks sold in California will be zero-emission vehicles” by 2035. Assuming Newsom and the board members have at least a rudimentary knowledge of electric cars, calling them “zero-emission vehicles” is a lie.

A Google search reveals that journalists and many others are also using this inherently false phrase.

The harms of this deceit extend well beyond pollution. This is because electric cars are more costly than other options, and that’s why people rarely buy electric cars unless governments subsidize or mandate them. As documented by a 2021 paper in the journal Transport and Environment:

Mass market adoption of electric vehicles will likely require either that governments restrict the sale of gasoline-powered vehicles (as planned in some countries and California) or that BEVs [battery electric vehicles] become cost-competitive with gasoline-powered vehicles of similar size and styling.

Regardless of whether these additional costs are paid by consumers or taxpayers, they make people poorer because these expensive cars ultimately travel fewer miles for every dollar spent.

The same applies to other “clean energy” policies that are prevalent in California. This is a major reason why it has the highest electricity prices in the continental U.S., or 77% more than the national average.

Such policies that increase the costs of living have contributed to making California the state with the highest real poverty rate in the nation.

Despite its “green” agenda, California dominates the American Lung Association’s list of cities with the poorest air quality in America. In fact, the nation’s worst four cities for ozone pollution, the worst five cities for year-round particle pollution, and the worst two cities for short-term particle pollution are all in California.

There are certainly many other factors besides energy policies that have led to those dreadful outcomes in California, but lying to people deprives them of the opportunity to make informed decisions about the pros and cons of these policies.

U.S. Economic Freedom Index Collapses to Carter Administration Levels thumbnail

U.S. Economic Freedom Index Collapses to Carter Administration Levels

By Phillip W. Magness

The Fraser Institute’s Economic Freedom of the World 2022 report was released this morning [September 8]. This report covers 2020, which while most of our recent history is a bit of a blur, was the year when COVID-19 and COVID lockdowns defined our shared experience. The first of those lockdowns began in mid-March, and we spent most of the rest of 2020 figuring out how to negotiate a newly defined world. So whatever we end up seeing in the report, we’ll have to remember that we spent about 80 percent of 2020, for lack of a better word, grounded.

When additional years of data from the COVID era are added, we fully expect that economic freedom around the world will continue to falter. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. The 2020 data is bad enough. The global average economic freedom rating fell .14 points in 2020, erasing a decade’s worth of improvements.

But first, some notes on what the Fraser Institute measures.

The Economic Freedom of the World report comprises measurements across five categories and 165 jurisdictions: size of government, legal system and property rights, sound money, freedom to trade internationally, and regulation. Perhaps the most important facet of the report is that we can look at the data in absolute terms, asking, for example, how well the United States has been doing over time. We can also look at the data in relative terms, asking how well the United States has been doing compared to the other nations of the world.

We have become accustomed to seeing a steady climb to better lives. Indeed, many of us could not comprehend living as our grandparents did. But thanks to the Fraser Institute, we now have detailed data from 1980-2020, detailing two generations. How do we stack up?

Many will be surprised that the United States is not at the top of the list of most-free countries. In 2020 the US was seventh, behind Hong Kong, Singapore, Switzerland, New Zealand, Denmark, and Australia. And while seventh in the world is nothing to sneeze at, the US trajectory has been downward for quite some time, if only moderately so. In 1980 and 1990, the US was the second economically freest nation in the world. In 2000, it was third. In 2010 and 2015 it was fifth and sixth, respectively. And by 2020, it was seventh.

But that only tells part of the story. It’s when we look at ratings rather than rankings that things get interesting. While the United States has been kicking around in the top ten, even if falling, for decades, it is not doing all that well when compared to itself over time. Indeed, the US’s cumulative rating of 7.97 is considerably lower than its 1980 rating of 8.34. Digging into the recent data, the United States dropped in rank across all five indexed categories from 2019 to 2020. The most significant changes have been in the size of government and regulation categories, where the United States fell 7.32 to 6.79, and 8.68 to 8.11, respectively. Both measures directly reflect the COVID era’s unprecedented expansions of government, as federal spending was unleashed from any semblance of fiscal constraint and draconian regulatory intrusions on daily economic life reached every single American.

In short, the United States finished 2020 less economically free than we were at the tail end of the Carter years.

In the time since COVID, these problems have only continued to compound. The United States appears to be entering the same economic malaise of bloated bureaucracy, excessive taxation, and spiraling inflation that typified the Carter years. Back then we had to wait in line, sometimes for hours, just to buy gas. Now we have rolling blackouts and energy crises in some states, impending electric vehicle mandates, perpetual budget-busting deficits that were unheard of even two decades ago, and – yes – a return of inflation that tops 8 percent for the year. Perhaps the most telling fact of all is that our elected officials and policymakers haven’t a clue how to reverse these trends. Indeed, they are still feeding them.

So where is all this going? Well, 2021 is a full year of COVID lockdowns, so you can bet that data will be worse. We will know then, though, if 2022 shows a reversal of the decline – assuming that the present trends do not continue to compound the problems that COVID lockdowns started.

The real question now is whether we have learned any lessons about economic freedom and lockdowns. These new data provide us an unwelcome warning of what happens when the power of government becomes unmoored from any restraint, but the trend may yet be reversible.

Maricopa County Recorder Forewarns That Democrats Will Lead On Election Night thumbnail

Maricopa County Recorder Forewarns That Democrats Will Lead On Election Night

By Corinne Murdock

In an attempt to set voter expectations ahead of the upcoming midterm elections, Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer shared that initial results would favor Democrats heavily.

Richer based his prediction on the voting patterns from November 2020 and last month’s primary election. Both elections first tabulated early ballots received the week beforehand, most of which voted for Democratic candidates. Then, the county tabulates early ballots dropped off the day before and on Election Day, as well as in-person ballots, most of which voted for Republican candidates.

“First moral of the story: in Arizona, initial results will likely be much bluer than eventual final results,” said Richer. “Second moral: if you want your ballot to be part of results released at 8:00 pm on Election Night, return it before the weekend before Election Day.”

Less than two weeks after last month’s primary election, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors released their canvas of the election results. Over 866,000 voters (35 percent of the 2.47 million registered voters) cast ballots in the primary election, over 87 percent of which were early voters.

According to the canvas, Republicans had a higher turnout than Democrats in Maricopa County: over 59 percent to just over 47 percent, respectively.

While Richer predicted the county’s potential initial outcomes for the midterms, the primary’s voter turnout and the county’s voter registration numbers hint at the potential final outcomes.

According to the county’s latest voter registration statistics in July, most voters identified as Republican. Over 854,000 voters were Republican (34.5 percent), while over 851,000 voters were “other” (34.4 percent) and over 748,000 were Democrats (30.2 percent).

For months, party switches have trended in the following order from least to greatest: other, Republican, Democrat, than Libertarian. In July, over 5,500 voters switched to “other,” over 4,500 switched to “Republican,” over 3,500 switched to Democrat, and over 400 switched to Libertarian.

Maricopa County’s pattern of voter registrations aligns with the state’s. According to the secretary of state’s latest voter registration statistics, there are over 1.4 million Republicans (34.5 percent), over 1.4 million “other” voters (33.7 percent), and nearly 1.3 million Democrats (30.9 percent). Less than one percent, or 32,600 voters, were Libertarian.

Great Food Reset: Watch: School kids munch on insects as cricket snacks introduced to 1000 schools to ‘help save the planet from global warming’

By: Marc Morano – Climate Depot – September 11, 2022 10:56 AM

1000 Australian schools have just introduced to their canteens snacks containing bugs. Kids are now munching on chips laced with “eco-friendly” cricket protein made by Circle Harvest. Only a few years ago we would think this was an April fools prank… pic.twitter.com/Afxfjwv38n

— Evelyn Rae (@_evelynrae) September 9, 2022

Kid’s manipulated with bug-eating PSYOP: ”Chips are great aren’t they, and these chips are even better, because I think they are better for you, did you know that? Yeah, that way you know, mum and dad might let you have more chips. Good stuff” the interviewer said.

”Many children have the power of pester, so in some cases can be great agents of dietary change within the family” said Verity Jones from the University of the West of England in Bristol.

Marc Morano commented: “The Great Reset is happening here and now. This is not circa 1991, when we we were talking about a shadowy secretive vision of a New World Order. This is 2022 now and we are seeing a ‘new normal’ being imposed upon the world.

1) Our current energy system is being intentionally collapsed ;

2) Our transportation system is being intentionally collapsed; (and our freedom of movement is being stripped away)

3) Our First Amendment free speech rights are being collapsed by government & corporate collusion;

4) Our high-yield agricultural system is being intentionally collapsed to create man-made food shortages and chaos; and

5) The ability to eat meat is being banned to compel us to eat ‘lab-grown’ fake meat and eat insects.

Artificially caused food shortages will create demand for insect eating.  And our betters are using our children as hand-picked little ministers of propaganda to promote insect eating and ‘pester’ adults to comply with the agenda.

Kids cricket chips taste test

September 08, 2022 – NewsDNARaw

Snacks containing bugs have been introduced to 1000 school canteens across the nation by a Western Sydney company that says its products can help save the planet from global warming.

https://petersweden.substack.com/p/insects-schools

Via Swedish Journalist Peter Imanuelsen:

The Daily Telegraph interviewed school children eating these cricket chips, and when they asked the children if they knew it was made from insects, they didn’t know. This is how they do it. They cannot get adults to eat this stuff, so instead they just offer it to kids as tasty snacks and they go ahead and eat it without even knowing what it is.

”Chips are great aren’t they, and these chips are even better, because I think they are better for you, did you know that? Yeah, that way you know, mum and dad might let you have more chips. Good stuff” the interviewer said.

But this isn’t only in Australia.

Children at four primary schools aged 5 to 11 in Wales were offered insects to eat as part of a project to see how children’s appetites are for ”alternative protein” like crickets and mealworms (in case you don’t know, mealworms is bird feed).

Those who tell you to worry about climate change fly private jets.

Those who told you to stay home during lockdown went partying.

Those who tell you to worry about rising sea levels build ocean front mansions.

Those telling you to eat bugs are themselves dining on finest meat.

— PeterSweden (@PeterSweden7) September 3, 2022

But not only that, by feeding children insects, they hope that they can persuade parents to follow as well…

”Many children have the power of pester, so in some cases can be great agents of dietary change within the family” said Verity Jones from the University of the West of England in Bristol and is involved in the study.

So there you have it. They want to use children, brainwash them into thinking eating bugs as a good thing, and then get them to convince their parents to eat the bugs as well.

[ … ]

The thing is, it is not only happening in one country. As we saw, they are doing this in Australia, and on the other side of the world in Britain. This is a coordinated effort to push for eating bugs.

Imagine telling someone 10 years ago that they would be feeding your children insects at school. You would be called a crazy conspiracy theorist. Now they are doing it.

And guess what. It would not surprise me if they start slipping insects in junk food and most people won’t even realize. Just cover the taste up with some artificial flavor and you are good to go!

It is so good for the environment they say, with mealworms (bird feed) only producing 1% of greenhouse gases compared with cows. What a deal, just eat bird food to stop climate change! …

One city in the Netherlands is even talking about a proposal to ban advertisement of meat.

The plan is simple, they want you to eat the bugs, while the rich will continue to dine on the finest meat. They want you to give up all your comforts to stop climate change, but they themselves will fly in private jets.

And it all starts with brainwashing the children into eating bugs.

Why are they trying so hard to get us to eat bird food?

The chaos is music to the ears of those who don’t like the idea or the messiness of human freedom. The World Economic Forum’s vision is to crowd us all in cities, they want to have us own nothing, they want to regulate literally every aspect of our lives. Food shortages are a great way to collapse the current system and install a Great Reset.” See: “When there is food on the table there are many problems. When there is no food on the table there is one problem.” — Chinese proverb.

Blake Masters: ‘We’re Remaking the Republican Party’ Because the ‘Establishment’ is ‘Out Of Touch’ thumbnail

Blake Masters: ‘We’re Remaking the Republican Party’ Because the ‘Establishment’ is ‘Out Of Touch’

By The Daily Caller

Republican Arizona Senate candidate Blake Masters said the GOP is out of touch with ordinary Americans and described how he’s breaking from some “establishment” norms in an exclusive interview with the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Masters said Republicans, including himself, were in agreement about many key issues such as low taxes and low regulations, but that he’s more skeptical of foreign intervention and more vocal about crime and immigration than some of his counterparts. He spoke with the DCNF at the National Conservatism conference in Miami Sunday.

“I think I’m speaking more boldly about the southern border and issues of crime than a lot of establishment Republicans,” he told the DCNF. “I’m running on this America First agenda, that’s what I believe in, and I think we’re remaking the Republican Party to really implement that America first agenda. I think that the Republican party that Paul Ryan wants, that’s not the Republican party the American people want.”

Democrats have given up on you. I never will. We’re going to put an end to smuggling and illegal immigration. pic.twitter.com/JrstTp0PNu

— Blake Masters (@bgmasters) May 5, 2022

Masters is running against Democratic Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly, who is leading him by 47 to 45 percentage points roughly two months ahead of election day, according to a Sept. 9 Emerson College poll. The race has been labeled a “toss-up,” according to the non-partisan Cook Political Report.

The “America First” agenda, according to Masters, prioritizes the needs of ordinary Americans, and that means focusing more on domestic issues and less on foreign intervention. He also said establishment Republicans tend to grow disconnected from normal Americans during their time in office, which he said was driving growing support for populist strains of conservatism.

“Establishment Republicans tend to be a little bit too disconnected from the people. I see this especially in the Senate,” he said. “You stack a few six-year terms and suddenly you’re too disconnected from American life and what working class and middle class people are feeling. They live in a bubble, and the America first groundswell happened because establishment Republicans are out of touch.”

One key area were he’s distancing himself from the Republican establishment is foreign policy; he said he is a non-interventionist by default and believe the U.S. government should avoid military intervention when it’s not strictly necessary.

“I’ve been much more skeptical, for instance, about sending $40 billion to Ukraine,” he told the DCNF. “I would’ve voted no, I don’t think we should be doing that, and I think the Republican establishment is still more hawkish on that.”

The comments come amid an apparent rift between Masters and the GOP: the Senatorial Republican Super PAC, which is affiliated with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, pulled millions of dollars in ad buys for Masters in Arizona in August.

Masters didn’t directly comment on whether the funds were being withheld due to the perceived conflict between him and the Republican establishment, but said he was confident that necessary funds would come in from Washington, Silicon Valley and Arizona in apparent references to McConnell and tech entrepreneur Peter Thiel.

“This race is too close, it’s too crucial and it’s too winnable. I don’t know when the dam breaks but I think we’re gonna have all the resources we need,” he said.

McConnell’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

What Are the Top Abused Prescription Drugs? thumbnail

What Are the Top Abused Prescription Drugs?

By Kevin Morris Delphi Behavioral Health Group

The illegal manufacturing of drugs and counterfeit street drugs is a significant problem in the U.S. today. In fact, drug abuse can happen to millions of people with a legal prescription written by a licensed doctor and filled by a licensed pharmacist. But with more than 20,000 prescription medications approved by the U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on the market today, it can be challenging to understand which of these drugs is especially prone to abuse. Here are some of the top abused drugs from that list.

Ranking Drug Abuse Is Tricky

Many factors come into play when determining how abusive a drug is. For one, we can rank drugs based on their dosage size or their overall potency compared to others. We can also compare drugs based on their drug class, deciding which drug class has a higher abuse potential than others. Some might suggest comparing substances by using the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)’s drug schedule list, which ranks drugs based on their addictive potential and medical use.

Another way of comparison is to take the statistics of drug overdoses and fatalities along with national drug use surveys to discover trends that occur with certain drugs on all lists. However, none of these approaches can provide us with a full picture. Many factors can contribute to drug abuse, including biology, family history, metabolism, and stress factors, which can vary from person to person.

Because of this, it is important to know that this list is not exhaustive or in any particular order. Instead, it will include the main prescription drugs that seem to check most, if not all, the category “boxes” mentioned above for abuse potential.

Benzodiazepines

Benzodiazepines were once the most widely used prescription drug in America. The drugs were developed and promoted in the aftermath of barbiturate drug use and were believed to be a safe alternative to treating a wide variety of symptoms, including anxiety, insomnia, muscle spasms, and seizures. These drugs suppress the central nervous system and produce a relaxing sensation of euphoria, similar to alcohol. Multiple kinds of benzodiazepines are on the market. Most people have heard of Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan, and Valium, to name a few.

Each of these benzos varies in its onset of action (how fast it begins working) and duration of action (how long it works). Depending on what the symptoms are, a doctor will prescribe the benzodiazepine that best treats a particular symptom. Unfortunately, these drugs quickly gained a reputation for causing abuse and addiction that their forerunner barbiturate drugs had already gained. In fact, some medical professionals consider the benzodiazepine abuse problem to be an epidemic.

Opioids

Opioids have unquestionably been an epidemic-inducing drug in the United States over the years. Opioid use has been around for quite some time, including when morphine was used for pain management after surgery and battlefield wounds. However, the epidemic of opioid use is focused on the 1990s when OxyContin hit the markets.

By 2001, sales exceeded $1 billion, and Purdue Pharma, the company responsible for manufacturing the drug, controlled a third of the U.S. pharmaceutical market. However, the company has faced a relentless number of lawsuits for the abuse potential of this “poor man’s heroin.” Because of this, the popularity and prescription frequency of OxyContin has decreased dramatically over the years.

However, the abuse surrounding opioid use isn’t limited to OxyContin. Other prescription opioids include Vicodin (hydrocodone), Percocet, and methadone. In the era of drug cutting and accidental overdose, we must mention fentanyl when discussing opioids. Legally made and prescribed fentanyl treats severe chronic pain, such as that in cancer patients. However, illegally made or illegally diverted fentanyl sold on the streets is often added to heroin, making the combination drug deadly to users.

Stimulants

Prescription stimulants are another commonly abused drug. Prescription stimulants include the drugs Adderall and Ritalin, and they work differently from central nervous system (CNS) depressants. Stimulants increase activity in the central nervous system, so they commonly increase energy and focus rather than relaxation. This makes prescription stimulants an effective treatment option for attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

When compared to benzos and opioids, prescription stimulants are not as closely related to overdose death statistics, although they can cause deadly results when mixed with other drugs. With that said, prescription stimulants can cause addiction and dependence, and many people who abuse these drugs can experience poor sleep habits and a decline in nutritional habits. Long-term Adderall use can bring about detrimental health consequences, including an increased risk for stroke or heart attack.

Sedatives

Sedative drugs or “Z-drugs” are a class of drugs used almost exclusively as sleep aids. The reason these are referred to as “Z-drugs” is not that they help people sleep but because they include names like zolpidem, eszopiclone, and zaleplon. By far, the most popular of these drugs is zolpidem, which we know by the generic name Ambien. While these drugs are not the same as benzos, they work similarly to benzos and have a moderate-to-high addiction liability. As mentioned earlier about the alcohol-like effects of benzo use, sedative drugs are known for their intoxication effects. “Sleep driving” has been used to refer to someone who drives while “drunk” on sedative drugs like Ambien.

A Mixed Bag

A host of factors come into play with each drug, which can increase or decrease the likelihood of abuse. Because these drugs are so common (and legal with a prescription), one of the most important things to remember is the increased risk of mixing these drugs. The FDA always releases updated warnings for new dangers that come to light with various drugs over the years, and many of these warnings concern the deadly risk of mixing these drugs together.

Just because something comes in a pill bottle with a label and clear directions doesn’t mean it is harmless. If you or someone you love is prescribed any of the drugs mentioned above, remember that abuse is not limited to illegal drug use or failing to follow dosage directions. It can happen to anyone who uses these highly addictive medications as directed.

Why Do We Tolerate Communism? thumbnail

Why Do We Tolerate Communism?

By Center For Security Policy

National Socialism, better known as Nazism, is a totalitarian ideology responsible for the murder of over 17 million people between 1933 and 1945, according to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. That’s a figure which does not include the Allied troops who fought and died to defeat Adolf Hitler’s Third Reich. Having been defeated, there is next to no tolerance of National Socialism ideology in the United States today. Those who espouse Nazism are (correctly) anathema, outcasts and oddballs at best. You do not see people wearing t-shirts adorned with swastikas, or stylized t-shirts with well-known Nazis on them. Political figures don’t have portraits of Adolf Hitler on the walls of their offices. There aren’t self-professed Nazi teachers and professors teaching our children in schools and universities.

But Nazism is not the only totalitarian ideology the United States fought in the 20th century.

There is another ideology responsible for even more pain, suffering, and deaths–Communism–with an estimated death count of over 100 million worldwide.

The United States and the rest of the free world waged a Cold War for half a century, fought major wars, brushfire wars and conflicts from Korea to Vietnam to Malaya to Grenada and El Salvador and dozens of places in Asia and Africa to stop the spread of this ideology. Hundreds of thousands gave their lives in this noble cause. The US, and its allies spilled precious blood and treasure to stop Communism. But why there is a tolerance (and outright advocacy in some instances) for Communism?

HEROES AND COLLEGE PROFESSORS

Che Guevara t-shirts are commonplace, despite the fact Guevara was a brutal terrorist and a racist. Guevara is probably one of the world’s most famous murderous psychotics, due to the large number of people who have romanticized him, many of them on college campuses.

Of course, there are more than a few Marxist college professors on our college campuses, pushing toxic communist-originated doctrines such as Critical Race Theory. Some research shows that there are more Marxists among faculties in some fields than there are conservatives.

Even outside of academia there are many in America who still espouse the so-called features and benefits of Communism—as well as other branches of the same poisonous Marxist vine. Prominent American politicians who are self-proclaimed socialists, enjoying the fruits of our free enterprise system while declaring the superiority of socialism. Such politicians are often celebrated in the media and it’s no wonder; we have self-proclaimed socialists there too.

And who can forget the portrait Mao hanging on the wall in the home of former Tennessee Democrat Congressman Harold Ford.  Or Anita Dunn, senior advisor to President Joe Biden, who described Mao as one of her favorite political philosophers. That’s Mao Tse-tung, the greatest mass murderer of the 20th century and father of Communist China, estimated to be responsible for the deaths of up to 70 million people.

While Mao’s death toll was unparalleled, it was the rule, not the exception. Everywhere Communism surfaces, it is accompanied by mass murderhuman miseryoppression and failure.

Soviet leader Josef Stalin killed as many as 11 million people through the forced implementation of communist agricultural policies alone. But that was just part of his reign of terror. Some estimate that he was responsible for the deaths of as many as 60 million people. Time magazine put Stalin on its cover 11 times.

Pol Pot of Cambodia, leader of the communist Khmer Rouge, killed somewhere between 1.5 million and 3 million people in establishing communist rule in Cambodia.

Cuba’s Fidel Castro is particularly romanticized. While Castro didn’t kill millions, he did kill tens of thousands, ruling Cuba with a brutal oppressive hand that is too often overlooked today.

The continued tolerance of Communism, despite its record–which is every bit as abhorrent as Nazism–is not an accident, and it is a travesty.  Souvenirs and memorabilia celebrating communism should be ridiculed and as rare as those that celebrate Nazism. You can’t find a Nazi flag on Amazon and that’s a good thing. But you can find the flag of another evil empire, the Soviet Union.

Why do we continue to tolerate it?

Why Do They Hate Us? thumbnail

Why Do They Hate Us?

By The Daily Skirmish – Liberato.US

Americans gathered at Ground Zero, the Pentagon, and Shanksville over the weekend to remember the Islamic jihad terrorist attacks on 9/11 21 years ago.  ‘Why do they hate us?,’ George W. Bush wondered shortly after the attacks.  The bad news is they hate us because their religion commands them to hate us.

When you start with a holy book, the Quran, that says 164 times in various ways ‘slay the infidel’, you’re bound to have a problem.  The 9/11 attacks would not have occurred but for the standard Islamic doctrines of sharia supremacy and jihad, as shown by Arabic-language sources of Al Qaeda messages at the time.  Moreover, in 2009, five masterminds of the 9/11 attacks including Khalid Sheikh Mohammed – calling themselves the “9/11 Shura Council” – wrote that the 9/11 attacks were an “act of Jihad”, jihad being “a great duty in our religion.”  They quoted numerous verses from the Quran including the infamous ‘Verse of the Sword’ – “fight and slay the pagans wherever you find them.”

This isn’t just old news from the dustbin of history.  Standard Islamic doctrine is unchanged today, and there are plenty fresh reminders it means business.    There are also too many doctrinally-inspired Islamic jihad attacks taking place on a daily basis to dismiss the threat out of hand.  Let’s see what sharia supremacists say in their own words, shall we?

An imam formerly based in Houston said non-Muslims are the worst of Allah’s creations, that they are worse than animals.  He referred to a verse in the Quran which commands wives not to talk to their husbands if their husbands do not wage jihad.

A New York Times journalist said he favored killing and burning Jews “like Hitler did.”  The Islamic Education Center in Houston is teaching children to pledge allegiance to Iran’s leaders and to become soldiers to kill Jews.

A prominent imam in France said, ‘I make no distinction between Islamism and Islam. Islamism is Islam in action.’  This echoes the words of Turkish President Erdogan who said in 2017, “There is no moderate or immoderate Islam.  Islam is Islam and that’s it.”  The implication of these statements is that jihad attacks are the result of standard Islamic doctrine, not an extremist interpretation of Islamic doctrine.

A Swedish imam spoke of the “great battle” when all non-Muslims will be forced to submit to Islam, and he prayed to Allah to defeat or destroy Christians and Jews.  “Sweden is ours,” he said.  “It’s ours, whether they want this or not. In ten to fifteen years, it will be ours.”

Police in India discovered the battle plan of an Islamic group that wants to take over India by 2047.  They will accomplish their goal by infiltrating the government, killing their opponents, and recruiting enough jihadis to eventually engage in a show-down with the government.

But we don’t have to wait until 2047 to see doctrinally-inspired Islamic attacks.  Massacres are taking place daily as the Islamization of Africa continues.  In our own country, a Muslim passenger screaming ‘Allah’ tried to storm the cockpit of a JetBlue flight out of Boston last year.  This year, the FBI reversed itself and finally acknowledged the Islamic attack on the synagogue in Colleyville, Texas was an act of terrorism.  The Colleyville attacker told officials that he wished he had died in the 9/11 terror attacks.  Also this year, a man brutally murdered a woman in Seattle with a hatchet and bolt cutters after reading the Quran, which gave him the idea that he should kill her.

No wonder CAIR – the Council on American-Islamic Relations – wants to turn 9/11 into a national day of service and redefine 9/11 around efforts to counteract anti-Muslim bullying in school.   No wonder CAIR wants to skip right over the Islamic terror attacks that killed 3,000 people in America 21 years ago.  CAIR can deflect all it wants, but Islam’s victims are still dead and the holy Quran still commands Muslims to wage violent jihad until sharia covers the earth.

It’s time to have a serious discussion.  If standard Islamic doctrine doesn’t really mean what it says, let’s hear that from CAIR and other Islamic leaders.  If the doctrine does mean what it says and they really do hate us and want to kill us for religious reasons, let’s hear that, too.

Joe Biden Uses 9/11 Speech To Attack Republicans thumbnail

Joe Biden Uses 9/11 Speech To Attack Republicans

By The Geller Report

Nowhere is his remarks does this demented mental patient mention the motive or the jihadis who attacked this country.

Evil madman leading criminal enterprise party.

By: Conservative Brief, September 11, 2022:

President Joe Biden marked the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States by taking a swipe at his political opponents.

He spoke in front of the Pentagon where he said Americans “owe it” to the victims of 9/11 to defend democracy weeks after he labeled “MAGA Republicans” a threat to democracy.

“It’s not enough to gather and remember each September 11th those we lost more than two decades ago,” Biden said in his remarks. “Because on this day, it is not about the past, it’s about the future,” the president said, The Daily Mail reported.

“We have an obligation, a duty, a responsibility to defend, preserve and protect our democracy,” he said. “The very democracy that defends the right to freedom that those terrorists on 9/11 sought to bury in the burning fire and smoke and ash. And that takes a commitment on the part of all of us.”

“American democracy depends on the habits of the heart of we the people,” he said in the rain. “It’s not enough to stand up for democracy once a year, or every now and then – something we have to do every single day.”

“This is a day not only to remember, but a day of renewal and resolve for each and every American. And our devotion to this country – to the principles and the bodies – to our democracy – that is who we owe those remembered today,” the president said.

7 seconds…

“That is what we owe one another. And that is what we owe future generations of Americans to come,” he said.

“’I have no doubt we will do this,” he said. “We will meet this significant responsibility. We’ll secure our democracy together – as one American, the United States of America.’

Using the anniversary of 9/11 to swipe at political opponents is loathsome enough, but to do it weeks after you labeled fellow Americans a threat to democracy makes it worse.

“We must be honest with each other and with ourselves,” Biden said during the speech at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, with a pair of U.S. Marines in the background. “Too much of what’s happening in our country today is not normal. Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.”

“MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution,” he claimed without context or explanation. “They do not believe in the rule of law. They do not recognize the will of the people. They refuse to accept the results of a free election.”

“And they’re working right now, as I speak in state after state, to give the power to decide elections in America to partisans and cronies, empowering election-deniers to undermine democracy itself,” Biden continued.

“MAGA forces are determined to take this country backwards. Backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love. They promote authoritarian leaders and they fan the flames of political violence that are a threat to our personal rights, to the pursuit of justice, to the rule of law, to the very soul of this country,” the president said.

Florida Sheriff Reveals Results Of Human Trafficking Investigation: ‘We Always Have Disney Employees’ thumbnail

Florida Sheriff Reveals Results Of Human Trafficking Investigation: ‘We Always Have Disney Employees’

By The Geller Report

By Leif Le Mahieu • Daily Wire • Sep 10, 2022 •

A Florida sheriff said that his department “always” caught Disney employees during undercover operations, while revealing the results of a week-long investigation into human trafficking.

The large investigation, known as “Fall Haul 2,” was spearheaded by the Polk County Police Department and involved a week-long sting operation in central Florida that netted over 150 arrests.

“Our goal is to identify victims, offer them help, and arrest those who are fueling the exploitation of human beings (Johns) and those profiting from the exploitation of human beings. Prostitution is not a victimless crime – it results in exploitation, disease, dysfunction, drug and alcohol addiction, violence, and broken families,” Sheriff Grady Judd said in a statement.

People from Florida, Georgia, Michigan, New York, California, North Carolina, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Arizona were all arrested during the undercover operation. Notable arrests included a Disney bellhop, a Georgia police deputy chief, and a high school physical education teacher.

The Disney employee, 57-year-old Guillermo Perez, was arrested for soliciting a prostitute. Perez is a bellhop for Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. While showing Perez’s photo while at the press conference, Judd suggested he was not surprised to have arrested a Disney employee.

“Now, where would we be with an undercover operation and no Disney employees?” he said. “Oh yes, we always have Disney employees.”

Also arrested was an independent photographer who the sheriff’s department said is occasionally “contracted by Disney.”

Jason DiPrima, the former deputy chief of administration for the Cartersville Police Department in Georgia, was arrested as well for soliciting a prostitute. DiPrima, who has since resigned from his position, allegedly gave an undercover detective $180 and a pack of White Claw, according to the sheriff.

“He did a mean, nasty thing to his family,” Judd said.

A correctional officer at Lake County Correctional Facility was also detained and will now be “in the jail as a jailbird like those jailbirds he watches,” the sheriff said.

Several school employees were also arrested during the sting. Twenty-six-year-old P.E. teacher John Layton was arrested for soliciting a prostitute and received a terse response from the sheriff when he said that he had track practice in the morning.

400 Doctors and Professionals Declare International MEDICAL CRISIS Due to Covid Vaccine Injuries and Deaths

By The Geller Report

Over 400 doctors, scientists and professionals from more than 34 countries this morning declared an international medical crisis due to “diseases and death associated with the ‘COVID-19 vaccines’”.

Launched at a press conference on Saturday, September 10th, the declaration states: “We are currently witnessing an excess in mortality in those countries where the majority of the population has received the so-called ‘COVID-19 vaccines’. To date, this excess mortality has neither been sufficiently investigated nor studied by national and international health institutions.”

Doctors around the world came together to sign a Declaration of an International Medical Crisis due to the diseases and death co-related to the COVID-19 “vaccines.”

By: James Roguski

At a press conference on Saturday, September 10th, the declaration states:

“We are currently witnessing an excess in mortality in those countries where the majority of the population has received the so-called ‘COVID-19 vaccines.’ To date, this excess mortality has neither been sufficiently investigated nor studied by national and international health institutions. The large number of sudden deaths in previously healthy young people who were inoculated with these ‘vaccines’ is particularly worrying, as is the high incidence of miscarriages and perinatal deaths which have not been investigated. A large number of adverse side effects, including hospitalisations, permanent disabilities and deaths related to the so-called ‘COVID-19 vaccines,’ have been reported officially. The registered number has no precedent in world vaccination history.”

The declaration, which originates among concerned medics and professionals in India, makes eight urgent demands, including an immediate stop to the vaccinations and investigation of all deaths in previously healthy people.

Read the full text below, and if you are a doctor, scientist or other professional, do consider signing.

DECLARATION OF INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL CRISIS DUE TO THE DISEASES AND DEATHS CO-RELATED TO THE ‘COVID-19 VACCINES’

We, the medical doctors and scientists from all over the world, declare that there is an international medical crisis due to the diseases and deaths co-related to the administration of products known as ‘COVID-19 vaccines’.

We are currently witnessing an excess in mortality in those countries where the majority of the population has received the so-called ‘COVID-19 vaccines’. To date, this excess mortality has neither been sufficiently investigated nor studied by national and international health institutions.

The large number of sudden deaths in previously healthy young people who were inoculated with these ‘vaccines’, is particularly worrying, as is the high incidence of miscarriages and perinatal deaths which have not been investigated.

A large number of adverse side effects, including hospitalisations, permanent disabilities and deaths related to the so-called ‘COVID-19 vaccines’, have been reported officially.

The registered number has no precedent in world vaccination history.

Examining the reports on CDC’s VAERS, Britain’s Yellow Card System, the Australian Adverse Event Monitoring System, Europe’s EudraVigilance System and the WHO’s VigiAccess Database, to date there have been more than 11 million reports of adverse effects and more than 70,000 deaths co-related to the inoculation of the products known as ‘Covid vaccines’.

We know that these numbers just about represent between 1% and 10% of all real events.

Therefore, we consider that we are facing a serious international medical crisis, which must be accepted and treated as critical by all states, health institutions and medical personnel worldwide.

Therefore, the following measures must be undertaken on an urgent basis:

  1. A worldwide ‘stop’ to the national inoculation campaigns with the products known as ‘COVID-19 vaccines’.
  2. Investigation of all sudden deaths of people who were healthy previous to the inoculation.
  3. Implementation of early detection programmes of cardiovascular events which could lead to sudden deaths with analysis such as D-dimer and Troponin, in all those that were inoculated with the products known as ‘COVID-19 vaccines’, as well as the early detection of serious tumours.
  4. Implementation of research and treatment programmes for victims of adverse effects after receiving the so-called ‘COVID-19 vaccine’.
  5. Undertaking analyses of the composition of vials of Pfizer, Moderna, Astra Zeneca, Janssen, Sinovac, Sputnik V and any other product known as ‘COVID-19 vaccines’,
  6. by independent research groups with no affiliation to pharmaceutical companies, nor any conflict of interest.
  7. Studies to be conducted on the interactions between the different components of the so-called ‘COVID-19 vaccines’ and their molecular, cellular and biological effects.
  8. Implementation of psychological help and compensation programmes for any person that has developed a disease or disability as a consequence of the so-called ‘COVID-19 vaccines’.
  9. Implementation and promotion of psychological help and compensation programmes for the family members of any person who died as a result of having been inoculated with the product known as ‘COVID-19 vaccines’.

Consequently we declare that we find ourselves in an unprecedented international medical crisis in the history of medicine, due to the large number of diseases and deaths associated with the ‘vaccines against COVID-19’. Therefore, we demand that the regulatory agencies that oversee drug safety as well as the health institutions in all countries, together with the international institutions such as the WHO, PHO, EMA, FDA, UK-MHRA and NIH respond to this declaration and act in accordance with the eight measures demanded in this manifesto.

This Declaration is a joint initiative of several professionals who have been fighting for this cause. We call on all doctors, scientists and professionals to endorse this statement in order to put pressure on the entities involved and promote a more transparent health policy.

Iatrogenocide: Murder by doctor, as in the administration of COVID-19 shots despite scientific evidence of serious harm and lack of effectiveness.

NYC Middle School Teacher Encourages Students to Engage in Political Violence

By Project Veritas

“Throw bricks at people with opposing views…we don’t stand up for the Pledge [of Allegiance]” — Ariane Franco, Middle School English Teacher, NYC Department of Education

Project Veritas released a fourth video in its newly launched Education Series today exposing a public school teacher.

Ariane Franco, who teaches English to NYC middle school students, was recorded admitting how she advises teenagers to engage in violence against those who stand in the way of her political agenda.

Here are some of the highlights from today’s video:

  • Ariane Franco, Middle School English Teacher, NYC Department of Education: “This is what I told my students. I was like, ‘Guys, there’s strategic ways to do this [protest].’ You want to…I brought up [a] crazy organization that have done this. Like, they chose which places to throw bricks in. They chose — and they didn’t do it in their own neighborhood…They didn’t do it to black and brown communities. Doing it to our own community does not make sense.”
  • Franco: “You got to go after the people who it’s not directly affecting…Throw it [brick] at the people that are actually doing the things that [need to] change.”
  • Franco: “I tell them — my kids — we don’t stand up for the Pledge [of Allegiance]. We do the Pledge of Allegiance every morning, you know, but we keep going on our business. It was a class decision at the beginning of the school year: ‘They’re not talking about me, so I’m not standing up,’ you know?”
  • Franco: “At one point, when I first started challenging it [the Pledge of Allegiance], I had my kids change the words…It was something like — I think we added at the end, ‘And we will fight for those who this does not address,’ or something like that. We added to [it] because it’s like, ‘And liberty and justice for all, and we will fight until that is true.’”

You can watch the full video HERE.

Project Veritas is still investigating wrongdoing within our education system. There’s still plenty to expose.

Trump, Trump-backed Candidates Surge in New Arizona Polling thumbnail

Trump, Trump-backed Candidates Surge in New Arizona Polling

By Joshua Young

A new poll out of Emerson College shows that Democrat Katie Hobbs and her GOP rival Kari Lake are polling dead even and Mark Kelly polling two points above Blake Masters.

Polling shows a tight race in Arizona in the lead up to the November election, as Donald Trump endorsed gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake faces off against Democrat rival Katie Hobbs and Trump backed Blake Masters goes up against incumbent Senator Mark Kelly.

A new poll out of Emerson College shows that Hobbs and her GOP rival, Kari Lake, are neck and neck and polling at 46 percent support each. Mark Kelly holds support at 47 percent with Blake Masters holding at 45 percent.

In the governor’s race only six percent are undecided and two percent claim they will vote for some other candidate. In the senate race, five percent say they are undecided and four percent claim they will vote for a third candidate.

Kari Lake, Blake Masters, and Mark Kelly all polled at 48 percent general favorability. 54 percent of voters expect Lake to win the governor’s seat and 53 percent expect Kelly to hold the Senate seat. 46 percent of those polled expect Hobbs to win, coincidentally Hobbs holds a 46 percent favorability rating.

31 percent have a very favorable view of Masters and 25 percent have a very favorable view of Kari Lake. Hobbs has a 27 percent very favorable margin and 35 percent are very favorable towards Kelly…..

TAKE ACTION

Are you fed up? Are you worried that America in rapidly sliding into a neo-Marxist state by the radical left in control of Washington with historically narrow majorities in the U.S. House and Senate and an Executive controlled by unnamed far leftists in place of a clinically incompetent President Biden? They are desperate to keep power and complete their radical progressive agenda that will change America and our liberty forever.

Americans just witnessed the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 without one Republican vote in the U.S. Senate and House (just as Obamacare was passed in 2010). The IRS  will be hiring 87,000 new agents, many armed, to terrorize American taxpayers.

Americans witnessed the FBI raid at the Trump Mar-A-Lago home and property of President Trump, truly a first in all of American history. We know what that is about.

It is undeniable that the Democrat Party and the administrative state (the executive branches of the DOJ, FBI, IRS, et al) are clear and present dangers to our Republic and our liberty as they increasingly veer further away from the rule of law and the Constitution. What is the solution? At this critical juncture, there is only one action we can all take.

The only viable and timely solution at this critical point is to vote – yes, vote correctly and smartly to retake the U.S. House and Senate on November 8th and to prepare the way to retake the White House in two years. Vote and help everyone you know to vote. Please click the TAKE ACTION link below – we must vote correctly and in great numbers to be sure our votes are counted to diminish the potential for the left to rig and steal the midterms and the 2024 elections as they are clearly intending to do after their success in 2020.

Election Integrity Should be Bi-Partisan thumbnail

Election Integrity Should be Bi-Partisan

By Neland Nobel

Election integrity is something everyone should be concerned about. Both parties have an interest in ensuring the public has confidence in the process. If not, it is destructive to the very core of the democratic process. The reason: if elections are not “honest”, what is the point of elections and without elections how can you have “democracy”, that is rule by the people? And, if not rule by the representatives of the people, elected by the consent of voters, by what standard can the “legitimacy” of governance be determined in a Constitutional Republic?

We know that Democrats too are concerned about election integrity because of their loud complaints in the first two decades of the 21st century. However, now they want to demonize anyone who questions the process.

Comparatively speaking, election integrity is even more important than the investigation of the unfortunate trespassing at the Capitol building, but it does not generate near the concern by the press, government officials, tech oligarchs, and Republicans like Liz Cheney. That event applied to just one Presidential election.  Election integrity applies to all elections, at all levels of government.

It is also somewhat disgusting that those that suggest that talking about election integrity is a “threat to democracy” try mightily to shut down the discussion. That is not going to work. We want to discuss it anyway.

What is an honest election? At one time, this seemed rather easy to answer. The results of the election should be determined by the votes cast. That seems simple, but the last election has shown how truly complicated it can be.

Let’s start with the voter. Can we all agree that voters should be citizens? No, some jurisdictions want non-citizens to vote and some resist the presentation of any kind of identification that proves both age and citizenship requirements, and additionally proof the voter is currently alive.

Can we agree that the voter casting the vote should be alive? No, the system often does not reliably verify signatures and ties those signatures to a physical address, which proves the person is who they say they are, and presumably alive and voting only once. A dead person apparently can vote by mail much easier than showing up to the polls and voting in person.  That much has been established. Why they always vote Democrat remains a mystery.

Can we agree that people should only vote once and that my vote should not count more than your vote? A recent study indicated that is difficult to determine that the number of votes cast equals the number of voters. The study found a 2.89% gap between the number of ballots cast and the number of voters. In a number of jurisdictions, the difference could determine the outcome of the election.

Can we agree on how the vote should be exercised? No, we can’t seem to agree on that.  It used to be you voted on one day, election day, and you did so at a polling place where at least there was some supervision and representatives of both parties present to see the supervision was fairly applied. This was standard procedure for a number of years, even when transportation was much more primitive. You voted at the polls on election day.

Today, a good deal of voting, sometimes the majority is done by mail-in and can be spaced over a number of days. And, the votes can be delivered into unsupervised drop boxes, where ballot stuffing can be done. Every voter should see the documentary film, 2000 Mules to get a sense of the extent of the problem.

Today, voting can even begin before campaigns are officially concluded, which allows voters to exercise their franchise often ignorant of late-breaking news, debate results, and opposition research, that might have influenced their thinking and choices. For example, polls indicate a substantial number of voters would have changed their vote, had they known about Hunter Biden and his criminal activities. But the news came after many had already voted.

A process that goes on over days with geographically spaced and unsupervised depositories is just an invitation to defraud the process.

Mail-in voting destroys the important “chain of custody”, which is a way of saying the voter casts a ballot, and that ballot gets to the counting center with no opportunity to change that vote, augment that vote with fake ballots, or remove that vote from the stream of ballots. The chain of custody is very important because it can stop a lot of voter fraud. Mail-in voting is thus rife with opportunities to manipulate, alter, or suppress the actual voting result.

Voting rolls should be regularly updated so people who have moved or died, cannot have their names entered into the process. This will reduce ballot stuffing by “mules.”

Once the votes get to a counting center, ideally, they should be counted by hand or by machines not connected to the internet. Machine counting can be quite accurate. For example, coins and bills are counted at great speed and with great accuracy by financial institutions, but there is no need to connect such analog machines to the internet where software can be hacked or manipulated. Representatives of both parties should be present when tabulations are collected from accurate high-speed analog counting devices.

Getting results to the press needs to take second place to accuracy in the vote count.

Can we all agree that the system should be one man, one vote and that all votes should be counted as accurately as possible? That would seem to be a no-brainer.

Here we will offer perhaps a controversial suggestion. The integrity of the system is a more important value to society than the convenience of the voter, but make voting as easy as possible. Therefore, make election day a holiday from work, so all can participate without great sacrifice to work or home responsibility. Require the voter to show up in person, with ID, and cast his/her vote on election day, not weeks before.

Convenience is a relative condition. For decades I voted at the polls on election day and got addicted to the convenience of mail-in voting. If people could walk, ride a horse or wagon, and get to a distant voting center in our frontier past, it is hardly inconvenient to give a person one task in a day they are getting off, to take a short drive in an air-conditioned bus or car, to vote in person at a polling station. With just one task to perform on a special day of civic responsibility, even those wheelchair-bound should find no difficulty getting to the polls. Usually, there are plenty of volunteers from political parties willing to help get out their mobility-challenged members to vote.

There is no need for independent parties to “harvest” or vote on behalf of another person.

We asked earlier, what is an honest election, and we have talked mostly about the process of voting itself, the security of those votes, and their accurate tabulation.

Beyond those mechanics, what is an honest election process?

In an ideal world, you should maximize freedom of assembly and the free press to see that the public is educated about the policy positions of the candidates and that they make informed decisions based on that information. That also presumes a fairly high degree of knowledge on the part of citizens so they understand their own political system (civics) and know a bit of history about their nation. But there is no realistic way to keep ignorant, bigoted, or uninformed people from voting. If government derives its just powers from the consent of the governed, the quality of government will be roughly equivalent to the quality of the governed.

In this realm, there is huge room for improvement. Public-school teachers who teach civics and history often do a poor job. I can recall a few exceptional teachers, but many made these important subjects just about as boring as possible. School choice seems the only alternative to getting better-educated citizens in all subject matters.

However, one thing seems clear from the last election cycle. We now know that government agencies interfered with the flow of information to voters. A high-ranking FBI agent just was forced to resign by deliberately suppressing information about criminal activity in the family of a Presidential candidate. Also, several intelligence and law enforcement agencies conspired with one political party that paid for bogus intelligence, acquired from foreign intelligence operatives, to try to change the outcome of an election.

In a free society, we can’t stop politicians from lying. We can’t stop the press from lying, although competition can help in that regard. And likely, we will never be able to stop leaks from government agencies to their pet press outlets. But clearly, government agencies should not be allowed to put their thumbs, elbows, and feet directly on the electoral scales. Nor should government agencies recruit, intimidate, or otherwise manipulate social media platforms into suppressing some news and releasing others.

Our Constitution forbids the government from suppressing the freedom of speech. That should apply as well to media companies that act as agents of the government.

This last cycle also showed that private companies also were allowed to spend millions of dollars in payments to election officials and private organizations, supposedly to improve the election process.

Government officials should run our elections, not private companies such as FaceBook. To date, 24 states have passed legislation to ban “Zuckbucks”, but not all states have done so.

From what we have described, it should be clear we at present do not have an “honest” election process. The current system is full of deficiencies that can be exploited. Voting rolls are often shoddy, the chain of custody is questionable, and the identification of voters is sketchy.

Do we have an honest electoral process, including a free flow of information and an informed electorate? Probably not on both counts.

At the very least, government intelligence agencies should not be interfering in the process by either planting bogus stories or suppressing real stories. Certainly, to actively conspire with one political party is unethical and cause for dismissal. It likely should be illegal. Government is there for all of us, not just some of us.

A Congressional review of our intelligence agencies, somewhat like the Church committee of the Viet Nam War period seems justified. It appears they took an active role not in cheating on vote counting, but in altering the political outcome through information manipulation and an outright conspiracy with the Democrat party and foreign intelligence operatives.

If the voting process is not secure, and if the election process, specifically the free flow of information is not operative, then you can legitimately say our election process was compromised.

That is not a statement “inciting insurrection”, it is simply saying election integrity is in fact the most important factor supporting our democratic system. Integrity applies to all elections, not just those with electors needed to certify Presidential elections.

It is the enemies of democracy who want to shut the discussion down and block attempts to improve the integrity of our elections.

Our elections likely will never be perfect, but they could be a lot more secure and fair than they currently are.

By all means, let’s have an open discussion and let all views be considered and stop this nonsense that concerned voters are “semi-fascists” any more than concerned parents are “domestic terrorists.”

Our democratic institutions are too sacred to be soiled by this kind of demagoguery.

Every Curve Flattened thumbnail

Every Curve Flattened

By Peter C. Earle

Yesterday, EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen addressed the mounting problems in European energy markets. On Twitter, blaming Russia for “manipulating” energy markets, she recommended a handful of steps to mitigate the rolling blackouts and other shortages plaguing Europe. The first tweet reads as follows:

Smart Savings of Electricity: We need a strategy to flatten the peaks, which drive the price of electricity…

For anyone who has been awake for as little as a few hours during the past thirty months, yes, we have heard this before. There’s something about hills and troughs in time series that creates discomfort, especially when it brings a notable change in circumstances. And in an age where the belief in the feasibility of the omnipotent state is prevalent, calls for government action inevitably follow.

If disease infections are rising, everyone should stay at home. If wages are falling, a minimum wage is clearly needed. Should wealth increase rapidly among small strata of society, it must be taxed away. When suicides skyrocket among combat veterans, they should receive counseling and other services. Stock indices or commodity prices are plummeting? Shut down the markets for a random period of time!

Yet nowhere in these cosmetic reactions are nuanced, let alone enduring remedies. Who is being struck by disease, and under what circumstances? Why are wages declining? In what professions, and where? What is the effect on employers and the broader job market? If wealth is rising, why? And what effect does it have on individuals who aren’t wealthy? Is it better to hurl hundreds of thousands of young people into war and sloppily patch them up afterward, or should military forces be deployed far more sparingly? If the prices of financial assets fall, are they not repricing? What new information is spurring that financial realignment? And however painful the decline may be for investors, doesn’t it create new economic information that entrepreneurs and managers can see and use?

Numerals, the symbols developed to represent the mathematical objects we call numbers, came early in human history, permitting the counting and tracking of phenomena. The price system, built on the evolution of money by employing numerals, arose to signal subjective exchange ratios and changes in them over time. The change is not only visible to the immediate consumer, but to other market participants near and far. A massive intellectual edifice surrounds each of us, providing information at varying intervals across uncountable simultaneities. Political incentives, more and more, are aligned toward imposing temporary, usually illusory, stability upon any corner of the human endeavor that strays from constancy.

Some situations require rapid action. But those should be short-lived holding actions explicitly selected to buy time for deeper analysis, determining root causes, connections, trade-offs, and unintended consequences. Clumsy, superficial policies are increasingly the end states of crises or periods of duress. The handful of nations currently on their seventh or eighth failure to impose Zero Covid come immediately to mind, as do the woefully diseconomic choices made by the London Metal Exchange to address the nickel short squeeze in March of this year.

The increasingly popular rule that every curve must be flattened and every dip filled is disconcerting, as every domain touched by human experience exhibits volatility at times. An increasing tendency toward knee-jerk responses from politicians and regulators ignores both the underlying generators of those swings and the harvesting of information embedded within them. The pursuit of nostrums whereby fragile stability is sought regardless of the consequences is a half step removed from uninhibited superstition and an abdication of empirical reality. Thoughtlessly mandating the crushing of trends, in retail electricity prices, unemployment, infections, and beyond, is killing the proverbial messenger. Short-sighted, mechanistic solutions not only solve nothing, but provide creatures that thrive on power a license to intervene again, and again, and again.
