Biden/Harris Regime Preps Post-Election Revenge on Israel

Whoever wins on Election Day it won’t be Joe Biden who will head off to join Jimmy Carter in senile infamy or his top administration members who won’t be likely to stay on no matter which way the election turns out.

And the administration is taking it in the noble spirit for which it’s known for, that is to say it’s going to follow in the footsteps of the Obama administration (and plenty of the perps are veterans of Hussy) and avenge the outcome on the Jews. (Hey it’s a popular response for thousands of years. So why not?)

Joe Biden claims that his real priority is a moonshot cure, but it seems like the admin’s real priority is to attack Israel.

The nearly three-month period from the November 5 presidential election to the January 20 inauguration will come with additional “political flexibility,” which will allow space for more confrontational policies vis-à-vis the Israeli government, said the current US official.

The list of steps US President Joe Biden could take would be longer if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the election since she is less likely to reverse them, a former senior US official explained. The official added that Harris would also be shielded from any political backlash of such moves due to them being seen as part of her predecessor’s legacy.

The former senior US official acknowledged that certain steps would be less likely taken if former president Donald Trump wins the election because he would be able to roll them back upon returning to office.

The wish list includes sanctioning members of the Israeli government, sanctioning even more Jewish groups and cracking down on Jewish products coming out of territory claiming by Islamic terrorists. Also there are plans for more limitations on weapons and this genius scheme to reopen a terror consulate in Jerusalem.

The former senior US official said the White House could dangle one last visit from Biden to Israel to participate in the corner-stone laying ceremony for the yet-to-be-built US embassy compound in exchange for Jerusalem lifting its opposition to reopening the consulate.

I understand the admin blaming Israel for everything because they’re radicals and terror simps, I’m baffled as to why they would think that the Israeli government (or any government on earth) is desperate for a Biden visit, let alone willing to sell out their national capital to have Biden come in to help the terrorists.

Unless I’m completely misreading this and sending Biden to Jerusalem is meant to be some kind of a threat.

But joking aside, this is a part of why Israel has stepped up its campaign. It knows that it has until Election Day to make a substantive impact before the full rage of the sore losers in the D.C. regime can be unleashed without worrying that a crackdown on Israel will make a few thousand Jewish voters in Pennsylvania realize that this administration hates Israel far more than it does any of the Islamic terrorists it’s fighting against.

In a September 10, 2024 The Washington Post published a column titled Kamala Harris’s climate policies, explained by Vanessa Montalbano, Abbie Cheeseman and Justine McDaniel who wrote:

As vice president, Kamala Harris helped pass the largest government investment into climate and clean energy initiatives, and grants to states to help recover from extreme weather events.

Causes of climate change

Q: Do you believe that climate change is largely driven by human activity, including the burning of fossil fuels? If not, is there a different cause you would cite?

A: Harris calls climate change an existential threat and says the United States needs to act urgently to address it. As a presidential candidate in 2019, she released a $10 trillion climate plan that calls for investing in renewable energy, holding polluters accountable, helping communities affected by climate change and protecting natural resources. As California attorney general, she prosecuted oil companies for environmental violations. As vice president, she was the tie-breaking vote in the Senate for the Inflation Reduction Act, which provided about $370 billion to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to 40 percent below their 2005 levels by the end of this decade.

Climate change and extreme weather

Q: Do you believe climate change is making disasters such as hurricanes, wildfires and heat waves more intense?

A: Harris has said the United States must take action to fight climate change in the face of increasing drought, floods, hurricanes, wildfires and sea level rise. As vice president, Harris announced more than $1 billion in grants in 2022 for states to address flooding and extreme heat exacerbated by climate change. “The frequency has accelerated in a relatively short period of time,” she said. “The science is clear. Extreme weather will only get worse, and the climate crisis will only accelerate.’’

How to address climate change

Q: Should climate change be addressed through government action or market forces?

A: The Biden-Harris administration’s signature Inflation Reduction Act represents the largest infusion of government cash into climate and clean-energy initiatives. Harris and Biden sought to put the U.S. on a path to cutting greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030. Under Harris’s climate plan as a 2019 presidential candidate, she advocated for a blend of government action and market forces to combat global warming. “A climate pollution fee can play an important role as one of several interrelated policies to reduce emissions and hold polluters accountable…” she said. “However, history shows us that reliance on market mechanisms alone can often leave communities behind.”

Clean energy tax credits

Q: Do you support clean-energy tax credits such as those for electric vehicles?

A: In 2022, Harris cast the tie-breaking vote to pass the Inflation Reduction Act, which provides hundreds of billions of dollars in government subsidies for electric cars and other clean-energy technology, including tax credits for clean-energy and energy-efficiency home projects. She has been a proponent of electric vehicles and as a senator supported a national zero-emissions vehicle standard. In May, she visited Detroit to announce federal grants for smaller companies making electric-vehicle parts.

WEF: You could be preparing to go to Mars. Scientists will have worked out how to keep you healthy in space. The start of the journey to find alien life?

NSA.gov states, “Mars remains our horizon goal for human exploration because it is one of the only other places we know where life may have existed in the solar system. What we learn about the Red Planet will tell us more about our Earth’s past and future, and may help answer whether life exists beyond our home planet. Like the Moon, Mars is a rich destination for scientific discovery and a driver of technologies that will enable humans to travel and explore far from Earth.”

On September 24, 2024 The Hill published an article titled Harris’s agenda mirrors the Democratic Socialists of America by public policy and political analyst Merrill Matthews who wrote,

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump says Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate, is a communist and Marxist and refers to her as “Comrade Kamala.” While it’s doubtful that Trump’s name calling helps him win over voters, if he has to call her something, he should have tagged her as a socialist. That’s because Harris’s major policy proposals are almost identical to those promoted by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

The DSA lists 10 policy positions under the heading “Our Platform.”

First up is “Deepening and Strengthening Democracy.” Of course, President Biden, Harris and nearly all Democrats repeatedly claim “democracy is under attack” and that Trump is a “threat to democracy.”

The DSA says it wants to “end minority rule” by getting rid of the Senate and the Electoral College. Harris would likely settle for ending the Senate’s filibuster so bills and all presidential appointments could be decided by a majority vote.

In addition, the socialists want to add seats to the U.S. Supreme Court (court packing) and impose term limits on the justices. Harris and most Democrats are pushing both SCOTUS reforms.

The DSA’s second item is “Abolition of the Carceral State” (“carceral” refers to prison and jail time). The DSA wants to “defund the police” — where have you heard that before? — and “free all incarcerated people.” Harris supported the “defund” movement and eliminating bail for some crimes until those positions became political liabilities. Now she tries to hide her soft-on-crime policies by stressing her background as a prosecutor.

Under “Abolish White Supremacy,” the DSA wants the government to pay reparations to Black people, “extend and expand sanctuary protections across the U.S.” and “end environmental racism.” Harris is on board with all of those, or at least she used to be.

There is a long DSA list of demands under “A Powerful Labor Movement,” including a right to unionize and an end to “right to work laws.” Isn’t the Biden-Harris administration supposed to be the most pro-union in history?

One of the DSA’s biggies is “Economic Justice,” where we find a whole host of demands, including free public college, canceling all student loan debt and medical debt and massive new regulations. Harris’s “opportunity economy” includes all three.

Of course, you had to assume “Gender and Sexuality Justice” would be on the DSA’s list, which includes “reproductive justice for all” (i.e., abortion) and a “guarantee of queer-friendly and gender-affirming healthcare.” Harris embraces both.

Next is the “Green New Deal,” which isn’t green or new. The GND has always been a social justice program masquerading as environmental policy. Harris was one of the original GND co-sponsors.

Under the topic of “Health Justice” the DSA supports Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-Vt.) Medicare for All bill — which is a government-run health care system and has no resemblance to Medicare. Harris was a co-sponsor until she decided it would be a political liability.

The ninth DSA item is “Housing for All.” Wait, has Harris been talking about expanding government-built housing and providing a $25,000 tax credit for first-time home buyers? Yes, come to think of it, she has.

The DSA’s last heading proposes “International Solidarity” and “Anti-imperialism.” It’s not clear what Harris’s foreign policy is, but it likely reflects Biden’s appeasement policy with respect to China and Iran.

To be sure, the DSA’s agenda goes into much more depth on each major point than Harris does. But then who doesn’t go into more depth that Kamala Harris? So, while it’s possible that Harris would disagree with some DSA sub-points, it’s undeniable that she agrees, or has agreed, with the socialists on their major themes.

Harris has tried to separate herself from some of her past publicly stated positions — thus hoping to be “unburdened by what has been.” But she hasn’t made a meaningful shift on any issue. She made that clear in her softball interview with CNN’s Dana Bash when she asserted her “values haven’t changed.” That was a wink to anyone who was concerned Harris might have moved toward the center.

Her values — and those of today’s Democratic Party — are essentially identical to those of the Democratic Socialists of America. The only major difference is DSA members aren’t trying to hide their socialist beliefs; Harris is.

The Bottom Line

Mary Rooke in a Daily Caller column titled Walz Solidifies Harris Policy Position That Would Transform Country As We Know It wrote, “The issue is that Democrats like Walz and Vice President Kamala Harris use the expression “fire in a crowded theater” to excuse the suppression of a wide variety of speech protected under the First Amendment. Anything Democrats consider ‘hate speech,’ ‘misinformation’ or ‘disinformation’ is grounds for censorship in their view.”

The destruction of the First Amendment will fundamentally transform America into a Marxist dictatorship.

The Harris platform mirrors that of the World Economic Forum.

That is the reality of what is as stake on November 5th, 2024.

Dem California Governor Newsom signs law banning local governments from requiring voters to present Voter ID

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom has signed legislation banning local governments from requiring voters to present an ID at the ballot box in order to cast a vote – a move which sparked backlash from Elon Musk, who branded Newsom as “The Joker.”

“Wow, it is now illegal to require voter ID in California! They just made PREVENTING voter fraud against the law,” Musk wrote on X late Monday. “The Joker is in charge.”

The bill was passed by the California Assembly in August after being introduced earlier in the year by state Sen. David Min, a Democrat. Newsom signed the bill into law on Thursday.

The new law was in response to the beachside city of Huntington Beach passing a voter ID amendment, Measure A, in March with the support of a majority of residents which would allow the city to require voter identification, increase in-person voting sites, and monitor ballot drop boxes in local elections. The measure won at the polls in March with 53.4% approval, county election data shows.

But Attorney General Rob Bonta and California Secretary of State Shirley N. Weber challenged Huntington Beach’s voter ID law, which would have amended the city’s charter to allow voter ID requirements by 2026.

In their lawsuit, Bonta and Weber argued that the city’s voter ID law “unlawfully conflicts and is preempted by state law.”

California is one of 14 states that does not require voter ID at the polls, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures…

A Short and Partial List of Common [Marxist] Terms and a Translation to Reality

This is a post I have wanted to make for a long time. A Marxist to English dictionary, even if its only half a page. The point of it is to understand how to do it much more than just exposing the specific terms we chose as exemplars. Understanding the principles and methods of Marxist dialectical terminology is critical if you want to have any chance of seeing outside the Matrix.

Communism is not much more if anything at all, than a system for attacking and destroying Western civilization at every level at which Western Civilization operates and exists. More than we are even aware of. Every aspect of our nature from our forms of reasoning and cultures as well as all institutions and professions which support our systems. From medicine to engineers, pilots to teachers etc.

Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals is an excellent manual on how to use orthodox Marxist methods adapted to the early 20th century. And a lot of those methods can be said to be a subset of Critical Theory.

At one level, critical theory is really simple. It is just criticizing everything about the West. Dishonestly, partially honestly, meaning spinning a real thing into something totally other than it really was to make the West, and especially the US look bad, or even honest criticism in an emergency, so to speak. Meaning when a narrative attack isn’t available. But in nearly all cases, Critical Theory is about a fictionalized version of the target and then a critical theory attack on that fiction.

It is because of this that we noticed that the media would sustain a rabid feeding frenzy over any non-white person killed by police either due to no fault of the police, like with George Floyd, or where the person who was shot richly deserved it as they were in the process of committing a violent crime. Even more importantly, that when a person who could be labelled as a black person was killed by police for reasons that were likely genuinely racist, there was little to no media and certainly no major protests or riots.

And this is 100% sensible when one understands that the idea is not to make the system better, but to destroy it altogether.

When people protest a real problem there is a solution that makes things even better than they were before. But when the problem is synthetic, the solution the rioters want, defund the police etc. is the only option on the table.

Therefore, when we look at the way we are forced to look at race relations now in the West, and particularity the USA, we can see and understand it as a product of :

Critical Race Theory. A critical theory attack on the West by attacking people of European ethnicity, or “white people” as guilty of any number of things for which they have no connection and in many ways no-one ever was guilty as the history is usually partly or fully fictionalized. Certainly the context will be adjusted for the best effect of the Critical Theory attack.

The communists now in control of the schools are becoming more bold now and use the term, Critical Race Theory more openly. But that is what it is. A branch of Hegelian dialectics as interpreted by Marx and refined by the Frankfurt School tactician, Alinsky. This process of abstracting and expanding Marxist methods of attack on the West continue to this day. And the people fighting for the West for the most part do not understand the nature of the attack, and spend all their resources arguing the reality behind the critical theory attack, if they even get that far. In other words, arguing the surface specifics of a given narrative’s claims, while the critical theory attack does its damage.

As we often say, with the left, the point is never the point. The Revolution is always the point.

Let’s have a look at a few more terms:

Multiculturalism — Critical culture theory.

Like BLM is a Marxist expression of critical theory by creating a dialectic confrontation between black and white people with the intention of destroying both ultimately, but ‘white’ people first, Multiculturalism is exactly the same. Bring in people from different cultures. Pretend to the host country that bringing in different cultures really just means interesting new recipes and sophisticated new arts and entertainment. But the reality of Multiculturalism means giving special protection to people from outside the host country to ‘protect their cultures’ while removing basic, even fundamental rights to the citizens of the host country, such that no opposition to what is taking place can happen without the objector being either directly guilty of a crime such as ‘hate speech’, or adjacent to a crime such as ‘racism’ where ‘racism’ while not always and not in all districts is specifically a crime, it can be dealt with by removing additional rights such as social media use, access to banking or even the right to use of a credit card or even accepting credit cards. So while not a crime, it is indeed punishable.

This happened to Robert Spencer for factual and unimpeachable explanations and descriptions of Islam that make Western peoples aware of it as a threat doctrine. Which it is. In case you haven’t noticed. But in all cases, the term, “multiculturalism’ is one deceptive click away from Critical race theory. The use of fictionalized race history and relations, or truthful ones but spun or cherry picked for a political outcome, rather than information. And the outcome is destruction.

Critical Culture Theory is tearing the west apart and down everywhere. And it has moved to pure oppression in the UK.

Climate Change — Critical Climate Theory

This one required an extra twist. It required moving from science as a method of understanding the universe, to scientism, where Marxist politicians tell you how the universe works. It is a gnostic cult of the White Coat. Science is never done by consensus. Politics and religion are, and in the case of communism, even that consensus is imposed from above. With Global Warming/Climate Change, we saw experts we never heard of, explain a consensus in the ‘science’ which has ‘already been done’ to explain why the measures being taken to ‘combat climate change’ cannot be questioned. You know, cause so many scientists agree. Real scientists, ones who explain their methods and publish their research get cancelled. Anyone who wants to see an excellent example of this should watch The Cloud Mystery. This is a short documentary by two Danish scientists who actually have a hypothesis on climate and temperature, and then prove it with data going back to Galileo’s first use of the telescope to study the Sun. Then watch the linked video of an explanation on how a Frankfurt School 2nd generation member, Jurgen Habermas, created the framework around which a small minority can impose their will on the majority using ‘consensus’ for political purposes.

Below, a truly amazing example of how Canada’s CBC COMINTERN broadcaster does exactly this. They make any refutation of Critical Climate Theory into hate speech as per Habermas. Have a listen after watching the linked video on Habermas.

But what makes it critical climate theory is its use to destroy Western industry. Communists picked the one marker that all industry in the world produces, CO2, and claimed it is a pollutant and claimed it as an existential threat to the World. Unless it is produced in China, North Korea, or anywhere else already socialist/communist. Then it is not to be mentioned. Like all Critical theory, it is meant to be destructive to Western Civ. And this one is majorly destructive. After all, if it was a real threat the people agitating over it would meet on Zoom and not fly private jets all over the world, and purchasing multi million dollar beach front homes for themselves where they themselves had saiid would be deep under water already from “global Warming”. And we would be building nuclear power plants as fast as we could. Even people who have real or exaggerated concerns about the safety of modern nuclear energy plants, will admit that the risk is not an existential risk to all life on Earth as they claim climate change to be. So in other words, it is a fake problem with real solutions that are avoided, in order to get the solutions they want, which is our destruction.

SOGI (Sexual orientation and Gender Identification) also Gender affirming Care — Critical Sex theory.

Destroying how people think of each other in terms of sexuality is a major victory for communists. After all, without reproduction, we go extinct. And yes, that is a victory for communism by some interpretations of communist theory. There are leftist groups across the West now that actively and openly seek human extinction. But as a rule, just for white people. Or more accurately, anyone who supports Western Civilization of any race or colour, as they will be labelled as white people and treated as such or worse by the left. Larry Elder as one clear example.

To the point though, destroying people’s ability to reproduce using drugs and surgical mutilation is a bonus. The main purpose is to destroy how Western people view each other sexually. This one deserves more than its own essay. It deserves a book.

Some point form proofs though, are that China made an official announcement, and passed a law, that no effeminate men can be seen on TV. In other words, Critical Race Theory is a destructive dialectical weapon against the West and China needs to protect itself from it in case it comes back home. Like Covid.

DEI — Critical institutional theory, or Critical Merit Theory

The whole purpose of DEI is to destroy all the institutions we have. Stephen Coughlin feels it is primarily to destroy our military capability. And it can and it will. But it has already destroyed many other professions. The Merit principle is one of the absolute supporting pillars of Western Civ. The idea that the person best suited for a job and best at it, gets the job, not only enables things to be done well, but advances all of our sciences and arts throughout the history of Western Civ. One can spot quickly the number of positions in leftist governments that use DEO hires, or what we used to call, “Affirmative Action”. An older term used as a disguise for Critical Merit theory. This is not to say that people other than white males are incapable. In fact it has nothing to do with white males. DEI is about making sure the people picked for important and responsible positions are incapable. They would definitely pick a white male for a job requiring training and coordination if the person they picked had advanced Parkinson’s and Alzheimers. In fact they picked one for President of the United States.

The Merit principle also is the best example of actual fairness in human history. Everyone understands when someone who has worked harder, is more dedicated, more talented or simply better at a job gets the job. It was the replacement of nepotism. In fact some historians argue that Lincoln was actually shot by a man who felt that he deserved a well paid and prestigious civil service job by nepotism and was passed over for someone of greater merit. Out of resentment, he shot Lincoln. DEI manufactured the idea that all who are good or accomplished are oppressors, and therefore not deserving. That achievement is cheating. Taking responsibility is privilege and so on. Over the course of the revolution in the West during the past 10 years or so, we see countless examples of Critical merit theory. From Math is Racist to reading to your children is racist.

This is only a partial list. Comments are welcome with other phrases used as disguised attacks on us all.

Funding terror, halting military aid to Israel, and abandoning the American people. There is no nuance here. The Democrats unwavering on the side of evil.

US to announce over $300 million in aid for Palestinians in Gaza, West Bank today

The United States will today announce nearly $336 million in additional humanitarian assistance for Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, according to a US Agency for International Development (USAID) statement seen by Reuters.

The funding will enable USAID’s partners to continue to provide humanitarian aid, including food assistance, healthcare, nutrition and other services, according to the statement.

The funding will also support emergency shelter assistance for displaced Gazans ahead of winter, the statement says.

“Over the last year, this conflict has cost the lives of innocent Palestinians and Israelis and has left Gaza and the West Bank in a state of humanitarian crisis and dire humanitarian need,” the statement says.

“The United States continues to call on all parties to agree to a ceasefire deal and an immediate release of hostages, and to allow for the immediate scale-up of humanitarian aid moving into and throughout Gaza.”

Former President Donald Trump has amassed more support among blue collar voters as Vice President Kamala Harris’ support with the once reliably Democratic group slips.

Trump has made strides among working class voters more than any other Republican candidate in decades, boasting a 31 point lead among trade school graduates and 17 point increase among nonwhite non-college educated voters compared to 2020, according to CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten. Among union voters, a historically blue voting demographic, Harris has managed to hold a nine point lead while her Democratic predecessors boasted a double digit advantage.

“There has always been a great deal of synergy between Trump and this demographic constituency,” Len Foxwell, a Democratic strategist based in Maryland, told the DCNF. “He has certainly made a conscious effort to target that voter base, and now, this traditionally Democratic constituency is at least keeping an open door to Donald Trump.”

Prior to the CNN poll, the International Brotherhood of Teamsters declined to endorse a presidential candidate on Sept. 18. Internal polling from the Teamsters, the largest union in America, revealed that nearly 60% of the workers they represent strongly favor Trump over Harris.

“All of the nation’s working men and women know that President Trump is the candidate looking out for them, which is why nearly 6 out of every 10 Teamsters support his candidacy,” Trump Campaign Senior Advisor Brian Hughes told the DCNF. “He has an economic plan that will allow workers to keep more of the money they earn, increase American manufacturing, and drive down energy costs. Under dealmaker President Trump, American farmers, manufacturers, and auto workers got the best trade deals in history, and he will once again put America First when we send him back to the White House.”

Teamsters General President Sean O’Brien was invited by to speak at the Republican National Convention (RNC) back in July. In contrast, O’Brien was not extended the same offer by the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in August.

“The Teamsters thank all candidates for meeting with members face-to-face during our unprecedented roundtables,” O’Brien said in a press release. “Unfortunately, neither major candidate was able to make serious commitments to our union to ensure the interests of working people are always put before Big Business. We sought commitments from both Trump and Harris not to interfere in critical union campaigns or core Teamsters industries — and to honor our members’ right to strike — but were unable to secure those pledges.”

The Teamsters have endorsed every Democratic nominee for president since Bill Clinton, including President Joe Biden in 2020.

“By not endorsing Kamala Harris, they’ve given the green light to go vote for Donald Trump,” John McLaughlin, a Trump campaign pollster and CEO of McLaughlin & Associates, told the DCNF.

“We’re seeing a realignment between the institutional wing of the union and the rank and file membership,” Foxwell told the DCNF.

Pollsters like McLaughlin told the DCNF that this shift among working class voters is likely a result of economic hardships under the Biden-Harris administration.

“They’ve been exploited by the Democrat Party,” McLaughlin told the DCNF. “For the people that are surviving paycheck to paycheck, they have no choice but to vote for Donald Trump.”

Inflation has repeatedly polled as a top issue for voters, with rates surging to decade highs under the Biden-Harris administration.

While inflationary costs burden working class Americans, the Biden-Harris administration approved several spending provisions such as the American Rescue Plan and the Inflation Reduction Act, which have collectively contributed more than $2 trillion to the federal deficit. The American Rescue Plan, which was passed in March 2021, approved $1.9 trillion in spending, and the Inflation Reduction Act, which was passed in August 2022, authorized an additional $750 billion.

In addition to economic factors, political strategists like Foxwell told the DCNF that Trump’s trade policy would “naturally appeal” to working class voters in a way that the Democratic Party hasn’t.

“We’re seeing a realignment of the two parties when it comes to trade policy,” Foxwell told the DCNF. “Trump, who leads the party that was once considered to be the party of free trade and unfettered market capitalism, has adopted positions on issues like trade tariffs that would naturally appeal to a union constituency.” (RELATED: Trump Hammered Voters’ Key Concerns In RNC Speech, Harris Hardly Mentioned Them)

“Meanwhile, ever since the days of the Clinton administration and certainly continuing through the Biden presidency, the Democrats have been leaning more toward free trade,” Foxwell told the DCNF. “So, to the extent that we have a union workforce that is concerned with unfair and unbalanced competition from export markets, Trump’s policies would have a natural appeal.”

Although the Rust Belt states of Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania typically lean blue, their working class strongholds will prove increasingly consequential heading into November.

These “blue wall” states carry a lot of electoral weight, making them crucial for either candidate if they want to see an electoral victory in November.

In 2016, Trump swept all three Rust Belt states and secured his election against former Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. In 2020, however, Trump lost in all three states and subsequently lost his reelection against President Joe Biden.

As Foxwell said, Trump has made a “conscious effort” to appeal to key industry workers like the United Auto Workers (UAW) members who were on strike in Detroit, Michigan, in 2023. During his campaign, he attacked Biden’s Green New Deal policies and their potentially negative impact on the auto industry in order to gain their favor.

Trump has also gained ground among trade school graduates, which is a continuously growing demographic. Gen Z has become increasingly involved in trade schools, with enrollments in vocational programs increasing by 16% from 2022 to 2023 according to the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center.

“I think there’s a lot of fluidity in this campaign, despite the fact that the numbers look relatively static at the top,” Foxwell told the DCNF.

“It’s really essential,” McLaughlin told the DCNF. “For Donald Trump’s Republican Party to become a majority, we’re relying on working voters across the country in Michigan and Wisconsin to add to our coalition. And he will win them over not because they make up a majority of the Republican Party, but because Donald Trump has stood up for them.”

The Harris campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the DCNF.

The traditional TV networks continue to offer obvious home-field advantages to Democrats in this year’s election debates, as they have for as long as I’ve observed politics.

But Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio, delivered a master class in how to deal with biased moderators in his vice-presidential showdown Tuesday night with Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, a Democrat.

Not only did Vance, Donald Trump’s running mate, handle obviously skewed questions. He also refused to allow the moderators—“CBS Evening News” anchor Norah O’Donnell and “Face the Nation” chief foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan—to live “fact-check” him without calling them out on it.

After hardly speaking to the media since becoming Democrats’ Vice Presidential nominee, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz stumbled and gaffed through his highly anticipated debate against Senator JD Vance.

Vance and Walz faced off Monday on CBS News in what appears to be the last debate of the 2024 election cycle. Vance, who has done about seven times more media appearances than the Harris-Walz ticket combined, was noticeably confident next to Walz, who tripped through his defense of past lies.

“I think the lack of interviews he has done with local media, with national media, it shows. He needed more practice,” CNN’s Dana Bash said on the network’s post-debate show.

Walz’s nerves were on display from the moment he took the debate stage and stumbled through an answer on how his administration would support Israel in retaliation against Iran.

After Walz blamed Trump for the crisis in the Middle East, Vance pivoted to point out that the former president wasn’t the one in charge when the war broke out.

“I think that something Gov. Walz just said is quite extraordinary. You, yourself just said Iran is as close to a nuclear weapon today as they have ever been. And Gov. Walz blamed President Trump. Who has been the vice president for the last three-and-a-half years? And the answer is your running mate, not mine,” Vance said.

Walz’s first major stumble came about forty minutes into the debate when he was asked about a CNN report stating that he had falsely claimed to have been in Hong Kong during the Tiananmen Square massacre.

“Now look, my community knows who I am. They saw where I was at. I will be the first to tell you, I poured my heart into my community. I’ve tried to do the best I can, but I’ve not been perfect, and I’m a knucklehead at times, but it’s always been about them. Those same people elected me to Congress for 12 years and in Congress, I was one of the most bipartisan people working on things like farm bills that we got done and working on veterans’ benefit,” Walz said, adding that sometimes he gets caught up in the rhetoric.

After he failed to explain the discrepancy, the CBS moderators asked Walz again. The governor then said he misspoke, before repeating the lie that he was in Hong Kong during the massacre.

“All I said on this was I got there that summer and misspoke on this. So I, I will, just, that is what I said. So I was in Hong Kong and China during the Democracy protests [inaudible] and from that I learned a lot about what needed to be in governance,” Walz said.

His most consequential gaffe of the night came when Walz claimed he was friends with school shooters while trying to answer a question on gun control.

“Governor, you previously opposed an assault weapons ban, but only later in your political career did you change your position. Why?” moderator Norah O’Donnell asked.

“Yeah, I sat in that office with those Sandy Hook parents. I’ve become friends with school shooters. I’ve seen it,” Walz began. “Look the NRA, I was an NRA guy for a long time. They used to teach gun safety. I’m of the age where my shotgun was in my car so I could pheasant hunt after football practice. That is not where we live today.”

Vance’s confidence and assertiveness towards moderators O’Donnell and Margaret Brennan was also a theme.

Twenty minutes into the debate, Brennan attempted to fact-check Vance on the migration in Springfield, Ohio, after the network agreed to not do any fact-checking beforehand. Vance expressed concern about how 20,000 Haitian migrants have flooded into Springfield, Ohio, over the past three years and overwhelmed the town.

Brennan attempted to move onto another question after, adding that the Haitian migrants had “legal status.” Vance, while trying to challenge the assertion, had his mic cut.

“Just to clarify for our viewers, Springfield, Ohio, does have a large number of Haitian migrants who have legal status, temporary protected status,” Brennan said.

“But Margaret … The rules were that you guys weren‘t going to fact-check, and since you‘re fact-checking me, I think it‘s important to say what‘s actually going on,” Vance responded. “So there‘s an application called the CBP One app — where you can go on as an illegal migrant, apply for asylum or apply for parole and be granted legal status at the wave of a Kamala Harris open border wand. That is not a person coming in applying for a green card and waiting for 10 years — ” Vance started to reply before Brennan told the senator they needed to move on and his mic was cut.

Polling has shown Americans have found Walz to be a more attractive running mate than Vance. Early on after being tapped, Vance faced a barrage of Democratic attacks that branded him as “weird” for past statements. Yet Vance, to Republicans’ satisfaction, began to find his footing as Walz was forced to defend his close ties to China and false claims about his military record.

Despite Walz’s favorability advantage, Democrats began to pivot mid-debate and argue that the vice presidential debate has little to no impact on the state of the presidential race.
“Bottom line on this is that I don’t think this changes the race at all,” former Obama advisor David Axelrod said on the CNN post show.

ROOKE: Four Horsemen Of Harris’s Campaign Apocalypse Have Arrived

Vice President Kamala Harris is experiencing what could be the end of her campaign as four major issues converge simultaneously.

It’s not hyperbole that Harris needs an easy October politically if she wants to win the White House. The race between her and former President Donald Trump is so close that any disruption could result in a last-minute vote surge. Unfortunately for Harris, she is staring down four issues that will be a disaster for her campaign as Nov. 5 approaches.

The least discussed but most important problem facing Harris (and the rest of the country) is the longshoreman port strike that started Oct. 1. It’s likely Americans are just realizing that negotiations that have been going on for months between United States Maritime Alliance (USMX) and the International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) are at an impasse. The promised strike started Tuesday, and workers have vowed to hold out until their wage and automation protection demands are met.

Already, parking lots at major retailers are filled with cars as Americans prepare for massive disruptions to supply chains and a rapid increase in inflationary prices. While Harris can count on the media to demonize these workers as selfish, greedy people looking for a payout, what they aren’t willing to tell the American people is that none of this would be an issue if the Biden-Harris administration had protected American manufacturing so that we didn’t have to rely on foreign countries (who control our docks) to make the products we use every day and longshoremen to unload these products from the docks.

Harris is now stuck between a rock and a hard place. If the Biden-Harris administration does not weigh in on the strike, she might win political points with union workers, but she will have lost the vote of the American family. Should the Biden-Harris administration force port workers back to work as they did with the rail strike, it may negate some economic damage. The harm will still be done, however: Americans should still brace for a pretty hefty economic impact, and Harris should expect blue-collar workers not to show up to vote for her in November.

Either way, the American taxpayer will bear the cost of this fight after four years of Democrat policies causing almost unrelenting inflation that erased the purchasing power of our dollar.

Harris also faces a humanitarian tragedy in the Carolinas, Florida, Tennessee and parts of Georgia as the effects of Hurricane Helene continue to unfold. The optics here are terrible. President Joe Biden told Americans that the federal government and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) had no more support to give the affected areas because they pre-planned a package. Biden and Harris, however, were slow to acknowledge the damage being done by Helene, and neither of them have visited the areas to appear at least a little bit concerned.

Staged photo ops of Harris sitting at command centers in DC aren’t going to be enough. The people on the ground are complaining about the lack of state and federal support. Thousands of people are stuck in their homes with no running water, food, medicine or way out of the disaster — that’s if the flooding and mudslides didn’t annihilate their homes. The death toll will continue to rise, and it seems like this disaster didn’t become an issue for Harris until Trump mentioned it in his campaign speech. Whether this is true or not doesn’t really matter. What matters is that people on the ground feel this way, and Trump is the only candidate to fly to Georgia with supplies and meet with emergency crews for an update on the devastation.

For these voters, the question will be: Where was Harris when we needed her? The answer is that Harris was at a California fundraiser securing cash for her campaign. Harris can only hope the media will help Americans memory-hole her lack of action. Without this safety net, the appearance of callous indifference will turn voters off.

Additionally, immigration continues to be a thorn in Harris’s side. It’s a product of her own making, so she shouldn’t be shocked that it’s looming over her campaign. Still, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) letter sent to Republican Texas Rep. Tony Gonzales in late September states that as of July 21, 662,566 illegal immigrants with criminal histories were on ICE’s national docket, with 425,431 convicted criminals not detained. This list includes 13,099 criminally convicted murderers, 2,521 kidnappers, 9,461 sex offenders (not involving assault or commercialized sex), 15,811 sexual assault offenders and 2,200 sex traffickers.

The ICE letter is merely a glimpse of the people who come across the southern border and makes Trump’s campaign statements about foreign countries opening their prisons and mental institutions and sending these people to America ring true. Harris can’t escape from the fact that Biden put her in charge of the “root causes of migration” or that she was dubbed the “Border Czar.” She is now synonymous with open border policies that are wreaking havoc in our country.

And all of this is coming at the worst time for her. Not only does she have just over a month until the Nov. 5 election, but her vice presidential pick, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, is set to debate Trump’s pick, Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance, Tuesday night. Walz will have to answer for all of these issues. I expect Vance to bring up the longshoremen strike, the Biden-Harris disastrous response to Hurricane Helene and Harris’s open border policies.

While the VP debate has done little to move the needle for presidential campaigns in the past, this year could be different. The two assassination attempts on Trump’s life give new meaning to the duties of the vice president should something happen to the president. Vance and Walz are not just interviewing with the American people for the supporting role. They are trying to prove that should anything happen to Trump or Harris, they are more than capable of taking charge of the country.

Harris can’t afford for this debate to go badly for Walz; in the same way, it would be a disaster should the longshoremen strike implode, the victims of Hurricane Helene speak out against her and the effects of illegal immigration continue to be a problem. Her campaign needs an easy October, but it’s looking like she’s riding into Revelation.

ANN ARBOR, MI — It turned out to be a monumental victory for free speech and a monumental disaster for the Biden-Harris camp. After a two-week trial on September 23rd, a federal jury in Austin, Texas announced its unanimous verdict, dismissing all claims against Dolores Park. Mrs. Park was represented by the Thomas More Law Center (TMLC), a national nonprofit public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Of the six defendants facing trial, Mrs. Park was one of the five defendants who were totally exonerated by the jury.

Although the defendants may have had different defenses, they were all motivated by one goal — never to submit to the overwhelming resources and the phalanx of 28 attorneys thrown against them. Plaintiffs’ attorneys from Washington D.C., New York, and Texas swarmed the defendants. They included attorneys from the mega law firm Wilkie, Farr & Gallagher that advertised on its website to employ 1,200 attorneys and two liberal organizations, Project Democracy and the Texas Civil Rights Project.

The lawsuit against the defendants was filed by former Texas Senator Wendy Davis, former Kamala Harris staffer David Gins, and bus driver Timothy Holloway. These plaintiffs brought three claims seeking compensatory, nominal, and punitive damages against Dolores Park and the co-defendants, the primary claim being conspiracy to violate the federal Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871, and two lesser claims under state law, a violation of the Texas Civil Conspiracy statute and violation of the Texas Civil Assault statute.

Plaintiffs’ attorneys hired six expert witnesses costing them well over $300,000. With the enormous resources expended by the plaintiffs’ attorneys against the defendants and the timing of the lawsuit and jury trial, common sense points to the conclusion that the true goal of the lawsuit was to obtain a jury verdict against all the defendants to deter anyone from voicing public opposition to the Biden-Harris presidential campaign in 2024.

On October 30th, 2020, several dozen cars and pickup trucks displaying American and Trump flags and honking their horns (the so-called Trump Train) followed a 50,000-pound Biden-Harris campaign bus wrapped with the slogan, “Battle for the Soul of the Nation” on the I-35 expressway between San Antonio and Austin, Texas. Dolores Park and the co-defendants followed the bus to show their support for President Trump.

Indeed, plaintiffs’ highly paid traffic expert indicated, after examining 53 videos provided to him by the plaintiffs’ attorneys, he did not see Dolores Park’s vehicle directly in front of the Biden-Harris bus, abruptly slowing down to slow down the movement of the bus, directly behind the rear of the bus, or driving alongside the bus except when passing to leave the expressway at exit 215, a long distance from the Biden-Harris bus and its final destination, Austin.

Park, now 62 years old, the mother of four adult children, and suffering the constant and excruciating pain of Fibromyalgia, has had an interesting career. At the age of 18, she was discovered by Bob Hope, at the time the world’s most famous entertainer. She has sung for Presidents Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter, opened for many stars, and ultimately became a headliner on the Caribbean Cruise line until she retired eleven years ago.

Most significant to her eternal glory, however, was the fact that during her trial, understanding the controversy, she willingly took the stand and testified that she became passionately pro-life in her mid-twenties when she saw a video of an ultrasound of an actual abortion, “The Silent Scream.” The video was narrated by one of the world’s most notorious abortionists, Dr. Bernard Nathanson. She told the jury, “It’s — the day I knew there’s a baby and they just killed it, period. They killed it. Leg by leg, arm by arm.” The video shows “they reach in and they crush the head.” She continued, “It’s one of those moments where you see something and you just never forget it.”

Since the plaintiffs initiated the lawsuit in June of 2021, the Thomas More Law Center has devoted countless human and financial resources to defend Mrs. Park’s right to free speech. And Mrs. Park has had to endure the exacerbation of her Fibromyalgia and the ignominy of facing the false charges that she conspired to block or stop the Biden-Harris bus, when her only goal was to support Donald Trump, “My pro-life President.”

After the jury’s verdict was announced, one courtroom spectator remarked, “This was truly a David versus Goliath battle.”

“My prayers have been answered. I am truly grateful for the jury’s verdict,” exclaimed Mrs. Park after hearing the jury’s decision.

Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center commented, “This was an incredible team effort. We were bombarded with pre-trial motions and had to review hundreds of thousands of files before our move to Austin for the actual trial. And not only did the three of us have to move with all our relevant files, we also had to call on our staff in Ann Arbor for logistical support.”

Continued Thompson, “One of the highlights of the trial was the amazing closing argument conducted by Erin Elizabeth Mersino, TMLC’s Chief of Supreme Court and Appellate Practice. Erin was assisted by TMLC’s Orlagh O’Donohue, who electronically coordinated the exhibits for the jury as Erin made her presentation.”

Erin Mersino remarked, “I have been trying cases since 2007 and this was one of the most difficult trials of my career. After pouring all the blood, sweat, and tears into this case that I could for the last several years, it is so wonderful for our client to hear the jury come back in her favor.”

Although the plaintiffs lost their case as to all but one defendant on one claim against one of the three plaintiffs — thereby losing on 17 of their 18 claims — they hurriedly rushed out of the courtroom to the TV cameras to claim victory, albeit hollow and misleading. The jury only returned a verdict in favor of Plaintiff Timothy Holloway, the bus driver, against Defendant Eliazar Cisneros on one claim. Cisneros is represented by attorney Francisco Canseco, who has already motioned for a judgment notwithstanding the verdict. The Judge is currently considering the motion. If the motion is not granted, Cisneros could appeal the verdict.

In yet another epic failure of the Harris-Biden regime, tens of thousands of dock workers at ports along the East and Gulf coasts walked off the job at midnight on Tuesday, a massive strike that brings billions of dollars in trade to a dead stop.

The International Longshoremen’s Association launched the strike after port ownership failed to meet its demands for higher wages and address the union’s objections to port automation. Negotiations broke down over the summer and the two sides are still at an impasse.

Dockworkers’ demands include a ban on automation and a 77% increase in wages. The whole process should be automated. This will have devastating effects on our nation’s economy because of supply chain issues.

Dockworkers from Maine to Texas go on strike in move that could spark economic doom

Dockworkers at ports from Maine to Texas began walking picket lines early Tuesday in a strike over wages and automation that could reignite inflation and cause shortages of goods if it goes on more than a few weeks.

The contract between the ports and about 45,000 members of the International Longshoremen’s Association expired at midnight, and even though progress was reported in talks on Monday, the workers went on strike.

The strike affecting 36 ports is the first by the union since 1977.

Workers began picketing at the Port of Philadelphia shortly after midnight, walking in a circle at a rail crossing outside the port and chanting, “No work without a fair contract.”

The union had message boards on the side of a truck reading: “Automation Hurts Families: ILA Stands For Job Protection.”

The US Maritime Alliance, which represents the ports, said Monday evening that both sides had moved off their previous wage offers, but when picket lines went up just after midnight, it was apparent that no deal had been reached.

The union’s opening offer in the talks was for a 77% pay raise over the six-year life of the contract, with president Harold Daggett saying it’s necessary to make up for inflation and years of small raises.

ILA members make a base salary of about $81,000 per year, but some can pull in over $200,000 annually with large amounts of overtime.

But Monday evening, the alliance said it had increased its offer to 50% raises over six years, and it pledged to keep limits on automation in place from the old contract.

“We are hopeful that this could allow us to fully resume collective bargaining around the other outstanding issues in an effort to reach an agreement,” the alliance statement said.

The union didn’t answer requests for comment on the talks Monday night, but said earlier in the day that the ports had refused demands for a fair contract and the alliance seemed intent on a strike. The two sides had not held formal negotiations since June.

The alliance said its offer tripled employer contributions to retirement plans and strengthened health care options.

During the day Monday, some ports already were preparing for a strike. The Port of Virginia, for instance, was in the process of ceasing operations.

‘A Self-Feeding Circle’: How A Web Of NGOs Enabled By Biden-Harris Is Fueling The Migrant Crisis

A web of NGOs is collaborating with government agencies to facilitate the resettlement of refugees – and Biden-Harris policies have only exacerbated the migrant crisis, sources told the Caller.

Immigration was thrust into the public spotlight as towns in America were overwhelmed with migrants, from Springfield, Ohio to Aurora, Colorado. Bureaucracies and non-profits often work in tandem to resettle refugees, and NGOs have only grown in influence under the Biden-Harris administration, experts said.

“It’s undeniable that the Biden Administration’s border policy has benefited the network of immigration NGOs that receive massive government contracts and grants to deal with the logistical and humanitarian problems that mass illegal immigration has caused,” the Capital Research Center’s Parker Thayer told the Caller in a statement.

While it’s difficult to quantify precisely how much NGOs have benefited, Thayer pointed to a USA Spending database. It shows that since 2020, federal spending on loans, grants, and contracts with the keyword “immigrant” has skyrocketed by almost tenfold.

Kevin Lynn, Executive Director of the Institute for Sound Public Policy, told the Caller there is a process in place for resettling refugees, and NGOs work with government agencies to further that goal.

He pointed to the Biden-Harris administration’s Welcome Corps.

The Welcome Corps is a refugee sponsorship program where “groups of at least five people” can sponsor a refugee, according to the initiative’s site. The State Department’s Office of the Spokesperson claimed last year the program “is the boldest innovation in refugee resettlement in four decades.”

“Welcome Corps was launched the Biden administration under the refugee resettlement program, and it basically allows private individuals to select their own refugees and future American citizens,” Lynn told the Caller.

He pointed to the Biden-Harris administration’s Welcome Corps.

The program’s partners include the Department of State and its Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM). It also partnered with the Church World Service (CWS) in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, which transformed the city into the “refugee capital of the world,” according to Lynn.

The city’s website denotes itself as “America’s refugee capital” and explains that it assists in resettling refugees.

A fact sheet from the U.S. Department of Housing and Development for landlords and property managers states the federal government collaborates with 10 resettlement agencies that have over 340 affiliates nationwide. The documents list various financial assistance and support that refugees receive, including employment services.

The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services has an agency called the Administration for Children & Families, and under its purview is the Office of Refugee Resettlement which partners with nonprofits in states that participate in the U.S. Refugee Resettlement Program. The only state not listed is Wyoming.

In fact, the site even has a tool for people to locate various refugee resettlement NGOs in their area.

Rather than trying to figure out how to stop the administration from resettling more aliens in OH, perhaps OH should consider reducing the incentives for them to come. Here’s a starting point:

Thayer noted many of these NGOs would not exist without government support. “It’s hard to call them grassroots,” he told the Caller.

He pointed to The Vera Institute for Justice as an example of governments funneling taxpayer dollars into nonprofits.

The Institute gets millions in federal dollars to represent illegal immigrants in immigration court while it pushes for soft-on-crime and open borders polices that lead to larger government contracts, Thayer said.

“It’s a self-feeding circle,” he concluded.

Over the last 40 years, the corporatocracy has created massive networks supported by business, NGOs and governments at the federal, state and local levels to prioritize the hiring of both legal and illegal immigrants over Americans.

One group listed on HHS’s site is Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio, a non-profit that partners with the State Department for Refugee Resettlement. According to a 2023 audit of the group’s finances, one of its main sources of revenue is grants and fees from the government, to the tune of several million dollars.

A facility in Springfield opened up earlier this year to assist with immigration services, and it’s directed by Catholic Charities Southwest Ohio, the Springfield News-Sun reported. CEO Tony Stieritz said the organization has been giving aid in the city for over a year, according to the outlet.

However, the organization states on its website that it “had no role in bringing migrants to the Springfield area,” and it does not provide “resettlement services in Springfield.”

The national organization Catholic Charities recently came under fire on social media after reports showed the Galveston, Texas, chapter substantially increased its revenue under the Biden Administration.

Illegal immigration to the U.S. has accelerated rapidly under Biden.

The Biden-Harris administration is attempting to make open borders “a part of the infrastructure,” according to Chris Chmielenski, President of the Immigration Accountability Project.

“And just to be clear, all of these people are technically in the country illegally, because they’ve been paroled by the administration,” he emphasized.

Kevin Lynn pointed to Biden’s CBP One app, arguing that it expedites illegal immigration. “They’re granting these blanket paroles, where the whole intention of parole was to be determined on a case-by-case basis.”

He explained the initial intent of parole was to grant travelers temporary status if they needed to come to the U.S. for a specific reason, such as for an emergency medical procedure.

The app was originally created during COVID-19 in Oct. 2020 to reduce the amount of time that travelers spent in person with CBP officers to schedule appointments, according to the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS).

Now, the Biden-Harris administration uses it to allow people without the necessary documentation to enter into the U.S. interior, according to CIS. The app allows migrants to make appointments in Central America and Mexico, which CIS argues incentivizes illegal immigrants to use smugglers.

There is another parole process specifically for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans, Lynn told the Caller. A person in the U.S. can sponsor someone from these nations – but the sponsor doesn’t have to be an American citizen, according to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

The agency’s definition of a supporter includes “asylees, refugees, and parolees” along with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) individuals. In June, the Biden administration granted TPS for 300,000 Haitians.

“Now these refugees parolees can sponsor people, people who are here on temporary protected status,” Lynn said.

Chmielenski told the Caller that NGOs are facilitating the resettlement process for migrants. “They’re helping [migrants] go through the process of applying for their work permit,” he stated, adding they could be eligible for public benefits.

“Essentially, the administration is having the NGOs do their dirty work for them,” Chmielenski said.

Fighting intensifies between Israeli troops and Hezbollah along the Israel-Lebanon border, raising concerns over escalating conflict and civilian safety.

Fighting is underway between Israeli troops and Hezbollah fighters along the Israel-Lebanon border.

What is yet unclear: How many will fight, how long they will stay there, how many people will be killed and whether the blazing conflict between Hezbollah and Israel, after a year of bloodshed, will cross the tipping point into an all-out war. Also unclear is what it will take to secure Israel’s north enough that civilians who have been evacuated from the region for nearly a year can safely return.

What is clear is that Israel seems intent on striking a decisive blow against a terror group that has, for decades, posed a formidable threat — even in the face of potentially steep costs. Over the past year, Hezbollah has rained missiles on Israel on a near-daily basis, with Israel returning fire.

For all of that time, the conflict seemed like a sideshow compared to the focus of Israel’s military campaign: the grueling war against Hamas in Gaza. But over the past two weeks things have changed: Israel has killed Hezbollah’s leader and several of his deputies; depleted the terror group’s missile stock; and girded its own population for yet another war on its border.

Israelis appear to support a war in Lebanon. But previous invasions into the country have had inconclusive results and cost Israel in terms of the lives of its soldiers and its international standing.

Here’s what to know about Israel’s incipient Third Lebanon War.

Israel and Hezbollah have been fighting for a long time.

Tensions rise with Hezbollah

The first few decades of Israel’s existence saw it fight repeated wars against Egypt and Syria. The past few decades have seen it fight repeated wars against Hamas and Hezbollah.

Hezbollah was founded in the wake of Israel’s 1982 invasion of Lebanon. That invasion was aimed primarily at another erstwhile foe — the Palestine Liberation Organization. But soon Israeli soldiers found themselves fighting Hezbollah, an Islamist terror group dedicated to Israel’s destruction.

Israeli soldiers occupied a strip of southern Lebanon until 2000, primarily facing attacks from Hezbollah, which also killed hundreds of American soldiers in two attacks in 1983 on the U.S. Embassy and a military barracks.

Six years later, the two sides clashed again when Hezbollah kidnapped two Israeli soldiers. Israel invaded Lebanon again, but the war is considered a fiasco in Israel: More than 100 Israeli soldiers and hundreds of Hezbollah fighters were killed, as were dozens of Israeli civilians and more than 1,000 Lebanese civilians.

Most importantly, Hezbollah remained intact. The terror group has ignored a United Nations resolution calling on it to withdraw to north of the Litani River, which would have created a buffer in southern Lebanon.

Since then, Hezbollah has been Iran’s most well funded proxy, a force estimated at as many as 100,000 fighters (but with perhaps half that number) and hundreds of thousands of missiles. Its rockets could reach virtually all of Israel.

Since 2006, the group has proven a loyal and useful ally to Iran. Its fighters shored up Bashar Assad’s dictatorial regime in the Syrian civil war, and it has created what has been called a “state within a state” in southern Lebanon. It also has a significant presence in Lebanon’s parliament. On Monday, the New York Times called it the “senior member” of Iran’s so-called “Axis of Resistance” in the Middle East.

Over that time, Israel has regularly bombed weapons shipments to Hezbollah. But until last fall the two sides had refrained from another major conflict.

Hezbollah started bombing Israel on October 8. That was only the beginning.

A day after Hamas invaded Israel, Hezbollah started shelling Israel’s north. The missiles have continued unabated for nearly a year, aside from when Hezbollah abided by the weeklong truce between Israel and Hamas in November.

Israel has bombed Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, and altogether, hundreds of the group’s fighters have been killed, as were dozens of civilians on both sides. The border area in both countries is a no-man’s-land. And with tens of thousands of Israelis from the north living as evacuees in hotels for nearly a year, support for striking a harsher blow against Hezbollah has risen.

A survey last month found nearly two-thirds of Israelis overall support fighting Hezbollah, while only about a quarter support a ceasefire deal with the group.

And Israel seems like it’s heeding that call. The last few weeks have seen a series of eye-popping operations from Israel’s military and intelligence systems: exploding pagers that wounded thousands and killed dozens; strikes on Hezbollah leaders; explosions of Hezbollah weapons depots.

Then, over the weekend, Israel killed the group’s leader, Hassan Nasrallah. He was the face and embodiment of Hezbollah — its leader for more than 30 years and an archnemesis of Israel. An analysis from the Council on Foreign Relations concludes, “The group has likely been rendered operationally inert — at least for the foreseeable future. Indeed, there are no clear successors to Nasrallah given his unique and unrivaled stature at the top of the movement.”

Yet the group is signaling that it has a lot of fight left. In a videotaped address released Monday, a top Hezbollah official said all of the slain members could be replaced and said the attacks on Israel so far represented a “minimum” effort for the group.

Now Israel is preparing for a ground war. It won’t be easy.

Israel isn’t stopping with Nasrallah’s assassination. Reports on Monday indicated that Israeli forces and artillery are fighting on the border and that troops are massing for an invasion. It has reportedly notified the United States of its plans for a ground operation.

Israeli soldiers have been conducting training exercises on Lebanon’s border for months, in anticipation of a war to clear Hezbollah out of a range where it can shoot anti-tank fire at Israeli towns, removing a major threat. The pager operation also revealed that it has been tracking and plotting against the terror group for a long time. So in a sense, as opposed to when it was caught flat-footed on October 7, Israel’s military may be prepared for fighting in Lebanon.

But as many Israeli combat veterans know from previous conflicts, Lebanon is an unforgiving terrain. It’s mountainous, and, even leaderless, Hezbollah has long been entrenched there. Southern Lebanon is much larger than Gaza, where Israel has been fighting a difficult war for a year — though it has many fewer residents.

“Hezbollah today is far more formidable [than in 2000], and even if it suffered more losses than it felt it could handle, the bulk of its forces could retreat away from the border region and simply return when Israel left, or conduct regular guerrilla attacks at a time of its choosing should Israeli forces stay,” an analysis in Foreign Policy concluded.

There is also the question of what another war will do to Israeli society. Israel sent hundreds of thousands of soldiers to the front after October 7, with many men spending months away from family and work. Hundreds have been killed in Gaza. While there is broad Israeli support for increased fighting in Lebanon to end the missile fire from the north, it also means another massive call-up of already exhausted Israeli reservists — just as Israelis had hoped to carve out a measure of solace during the High Holidays.

The United States supports Israel. For now.

President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, both defended the assassination of Nasrallah and have continued funding Israel’s military effort. But Biden has also been publicly calling for a ceasefire in the north alongside his so far fruitless efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza.

What will that mean if a Lebanon war drags out? Donald Trump has appeared supportive of Israel’s military efforts but also has an isolationist bent and called on Israel to finish its fight quickly. Harris is already facing pressure from her left flank to reduce or end her support for Israel’s war in Gaza. Many of those same voices, in Congress and beyond, have condemned Israel’s strikes in Lebanon and would no doubt push Harris to cut off support for a Lebanon war.

The United States has also worked for the past year to prevent a broader regional war. If Iran attacks Israel to avenge Nasrallah’s death, that scenario could unfold, turning the Middle East into one large war zone.

Following the strike on Nasrallah, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Iran that Israel could attack its territory as well. And in remarks on Monday, he suggested that his citizens prepare for another war.

“I would like to stand by our heroic soldiers, conscripts and reservists,” he said. “While we celebrate the new year, may it be a good one, they will continue to defend our country with that same dedication, sacrifice and heroism that they have shown throughout the past year.”

He added, “Finally, I would like to thank all citizens of Israel: The reservists’ wives, the mothers and fathers of our fighters, and the children, for being steadfast throughout such a long period. We are in a war for our very existence. We will unite, go hand-in-hand and defeat our enemies.”

I just returned home from my second trip to Israel. As an Iranian-born Christian, I visited my spiritual homeland to assure Israelis that the majority of the Iranian people stand with Israel, and that we have a common enemy in the Islamic Republic regime.

This was my message through media interviews and private meetings, from the Golan to the Gaza border.

Unlike my first trip 18 months ago, I wanted to witness the devastation and to express my solidarity with the Israeli people after the brutal and inhuman Hamas massacre of Oct. 7.

Because of my unique background – coming to faith as a Christian in Iran, being arrested, sentenced to death for “apostasy,” and imprisoned for nine months – I found that Israelis living through the trauma of the massacre, the war that’s still ongoing, and threats from Hezbollah and the Iranian Islamic regime felt that I could relate to them uniquely.

Unfortunately, I relate to Israelis’ suffering quite well. I witnessed many of my cell mates tortured and executed, including my best friend. The Islamic regime tortured and murdered my husband.

I wept as I experienced the trauma of the Israelis whom I met, experiencing PTSD of my own.

The Soros family’s Open Society Foundations in 2023 gave $250,000 to the European wing of Al-Haq Human Rights Organization, an Israeli-designated terrorist group, according to a grant database.

Israel’s government determined that Al-Haq was an “arm” of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a U.S.-designated terrorist organization, in 2021. In addition to the Israeli government’s designation, Al-Haq’s general director, Shawan Jabarin, was convicted in 1985 of recruiting and arranging trainings for the PFLP and several of the organization’s members have made comments supporting militant extremist groups like Hamas.

Last year wasn’t the first time the Soros family’s philanthropic network has given money to Al-Haq. Open Society Foundations donated over $2 million to the organization between 2016 and 2020. The most recent donation, however, represents the first time the Soros network has disclosed a new donation to Al-Haq since the Israeli government designated it as a terror organization.

Open Society Foundations’ grant to Al-Haq will “support work on human rights, legal research and advocacy in Europe,” according to a grant database.

“For years, Al-Haq, a Palestinian NGO linked to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) — an internationally designated terrorist organization — has pursued a strategy seeking to eliminate Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people and to legitimize violent attacks against its citizens,” an unreleased report authored by Israeli watchdog NGO Monitor and obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation reads. “A central aspect of Al-Haq’s activity is arguing to Western elites — parliamentarians, government officials, diplomats, academics, journalists and students — that Israel is inherently illegitimate.”

Al-Haq has “operated on [the PFLP’s] behalf and upon its instructions as part of the terror organization’s struggle against Israel,” according to the Israeli Ministry of Defense. The PFLP has launched rockets at civilians, hijacked planes and ordered suicide bombings, according to the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

Jabarin, the head of Al-Haq, attended a memorial event for a PFLP leader in 2019, according to a Palestinian media report.

Aseel Al Bajeh, a legal researcher and advocacy officer at ‎Al-Haq, reposted a quote from Ismail Haniyeh, a senior Hamas political leader, the day Hamas carried out mass terror attacks across Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, killing 1,200 people while also engaging in mass rapes and kidnappings. Ahmed Abofoul, another legal researcher and advocacy officer at Al-Haq, said on X that the United Nations secretary-general’s call for Hamas to stop killing civilians and release hostages was “morally abhorrent” because “Palestinian resistance” is “permitted by international law.”

Abofoul has defended the PFLP on X, according to the Washington Examiner. Al-Haq head of training Ziad Hmaidan encouraged Palestinians to attack Israel and praised “jihad” just days after the Oct. 7 attacks.

Al-Haq denies any links to the PFLP. Open Society Foundations condemned Israel’s designation of Al-Haq a terror group in 2022, saying that it “remains fully committed to its support for Al-Haq.”

Open Society Foundations was previously led by billionaire philanthropist George Soros, but his son took over the organization in 2023. Alex Soros described himself as “more political” than his father in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.

“There is strict U.S. anti-terrorist legislation that determines which organizations a foundation like OSF can fund,” an Open Society Foundations spokesperson told the DCNF. “We devote a lot of effort to ensuring full compliance. None of our partners have ever been designated under U.S. law as supporting terrorism.”

Al-Haq did not respond to the DCNF’s request for comment.

Tech giant Google’s days of election interference may be drawing to a close, pending the outcome of November’s presidential election. Former President Donald Trump pledged on Friday to prosecute Google for manipulating search results to benefit Democratic political candidates, should he retake the White House.

“It has been determined that Google has illegally used a system of only revealing and displaying bad stories about Donald J. Trump, some made up for this purpose while, at the same time, only revealing good stories about Comrade Kamala Harris,” Trump shared in a post on Truth Social. He continued, “This is an ILLEGAL ACTIVITY, and hopefully the Justice Department will criminally prosecute them for this blatant Interference of Elections.” The 45th president vowed, “If not, and subject to the Laws of our Country, I will request their prosecution, at the maximum levels, when I win the Election, and become President of the United States!”

A report published last week by Media Research Center (MRC) Free Speech America revealed that Google has been manipulating and “padding” search results to promote Vice President Kamala Harris and disparage Trump. Researchers used Google to search for both “Donald Trump Presidential Race 2024” and “Kamala Harris Presidential Race 2024” and found that Google listed Harris’s campaign website higher in search results than Trump’s campaign website. Google also promoted news websites — such as CNN, NBC, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Politico, and The Economist — which have a left-wing bias and provided negative coverage of Trump’s campaign and policies and favorable coverage of Harris’s campaign and policies.

“This is not neutral, there are snotty headlines and opinion pieces,” MRC NewsBusters Executive Editor Tim Graham commented. He continued, “Writers highlight negatives for both campaigns but suggest Harris is not an ideologue, and that Trump is very divisive. Apparently, Democrats can say the worst things about Trump and his supporters and it’s never viewed as divisive. It’s merely implied that it’s accurate.”

A previous MRC report found that Google has “interfered in elections” over 40 times since 2008. Over the past almost-two-decades, Google has consistently worked to promote news, opinion, and analysis from sources with a left-wing bias; buried stories damaging to Democratic politicians; buried Republican candidates’ campaign websites; and used search result suggestions to liken Republicans to Nazis. Google worked hard to promote then-Senator Barack Obama’s presidential campaign and, in 2012, his reelection efforts. In 2016, Google hid search suggestions related to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s criminal indictment and her involvement in the deaths of American citizens and soldiers in Benghazi, Libya.

Google also overrepresented media sources with a left-wing bias. When searching for results related to “abortion,” “campaign finance reform,” “global warming,” “Iraq war,” and others, Google users were 40% more likely to be fed sources with a left-wing bias. In the 2018 midterms, the overrepresentation of left-wing news sources increased, with Google burying Republican candidates’ campaign websites, listing “Nazism” as a “related search” to Republican organizations, and listing the Republican Party under search results for “Nazism.”

In 2020, Google continued its election interference efforts in an attempt to “prevent … the next Trump situation,” as a senior Google official put it. In addition to overrepresenting news sources with a left-wing bias, Google also blocked and blacklisted news sources it deemed too conservative, including MRC’s NewsBusters, the Daily Caller, The Christian Post, and Catholic News Agency. These websites would not appear in search results conducted using Google mobile apps.

Other websites — including Breitbart News and The Federalist — were blocked from appearing in Google search results regardless of the app or platform used to access Google. The tech giant blocked emails from Republican campaigns and organizations — including the Republican National Committee — from being delivered to Gmail accounts. Google also rewrote its campaign ads policies in order to suppress campaigns that executives considered threatening to former Vice President Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.

In the past several months, Google has worked with the Harris campaign to attach campaign ads to news results, altering headlines to make it appear that major news outlets like the Associated Press, USA Today, The Guardian, The Independent, Time Magazine, NPR, PBS, CNN, CBS News, and others are endorsing or promoting Harris’s presidential campaign. One of the news outlets targeted by the Harris campaign — the family-owned, North Dakota-based WDAY Radio — is considering taking legal action against both Google and the Harris campaign.

In the weeks following the first assassination attempt against Trump, in Butler, Pennsylvania, Google censored search suggestion results related to the event. The Washington Stand reported that a Google search for “assassination attempt” yielded autocomplete results such as “on hitler” and “on ronald reagan,” but no mention was made of Trump. Likewise, a search for “assassination attempt on” returned autocomplete results for such figures as Adolf Hitler, Ronald Reagan, Vladimir Lenin, Bob Marley, Harry Truman, Prince Charles, Gerald Ford, and Pope John Paul II, but not Trump. Searches that did not include the word “assassination” were also censored. A search for “Trump butler,” referring to the site of the attempted assassination, returned no autocomplete results and a search for “Trump shot” was corrected to “Trump Soho,” “Trump shoe,” “Trump shuttle,” or “Trump show.”

In early August, a federal court determined that Google was operating as an illegal monopoly and was controlling the search engine and search engine advertising markets. “Google is a monopolist, and it has acted as one to maintain its monopoly,” U.S. District Judge Amit Mehta wrote. Ken Blackwell, a senior fellow at Family Research Council and election integrity adviser at FRC Action, said at the time, “This is a victory for Americans who want free and fair elections.” He continued, “When Google allegedly manipulates search results to suppress results on issues like the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump, including the iconic photo of him after the shooting raising his fist in the air with the American flag in the background, that is election interference, and should not be tolerated.”

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is reportedly considering breaking up Google’s illegal monopoly and forcing the tech giant to divest several of its assets, including the Android operating system.

FEMA Lists ‘Equity’ Among Top Goals Even As Americans Face The Aftermath Of Hurricane Helene

The Biden administration’s Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) 2022-2026 strategic plan outlines three “ambitious goals,” with the first focusing on equity as the death toll from Hurricane Helene surpasses 100.

Hurricane Helene, a Category 4 storm, hit Florida Thursday and has since swept through Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee, with at least 120 people killed due to the storm, according to the New York Post. FEMA, the agency responsible for the federal response to hurricanes, has previously centered its focus on equity and community in hopes of helping the agency “address the increasing range and complexity of disasters” within diverse communities, the strategic plan states.

“Wide-ranging and long-term, the goals defined in the plan respond to the changing landscape in which we find ourselves. While some activities in this plan can be quickly realized, some will require efforts through 2026,” the agency’s site states.

“The plan outlines three bold, ambitious goals to meet this challenge,” the site continued. “These goals position FEMA to address the increasing range and complexity of disasters, support the diversity of communities we serve, and complement the nation’s growing expectations of the emergency management community.”

FEMA’s first goal is to “instill equity as a foundation of emergency management,” the second is to “lead the whole community in climate resilience” and the third aims to “promote and sustain a ready FEMA and a prepared nation.”

As cities like Asheville, North Carolina, face devastation from flooding, the agency has been criticized online, with users questioning the lack of assistance. Journalist Nick Sorto criticized the Biden administration and FEMA while assisting in the storm’s aftermath.

In August 2023, FEMA faced backlash for holding employee training on “white supremacy” while over 1,000 Hawaiians were missing after the destructive Maui wildfires, according to The Washington Free Beacon. The federal agency reportedly mandated a three-hour long diversity training for its employees, arguing how white supremacy is “ingrained in nearly every system and institution in the U.S.”

The August 8, 2023, wildfires on the island resulted in the deaths of 102 people, damaging over 3,000 structures in Lahaina.

FEMA did not immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
