But now, financial filings obtained by the Daily Mail suggest the First Partner of California may have to answer some tough questions of her own.
IRS documents from recent years show Gavin Newsom‘s wife has been paying herself and her company, Girls Club LLC, up to a third of her nonprofit’s entire income each year – pocketing over $3.7 million from 2012 to 2023, the nonprofit’s most recent figures.
Siebel Newsom, 51, runs the Representation Project, a charity that fights against ‘intersectional gender stereotypes’ and ‘harmful gender norms’.
The organization brings in between $1 million and $1.7 million a year in grants and donations, with roughly $300,000 of it going straight to her and her company in recent years, according to financial records.
The most recent IRS filings up to March 2024 show Siebel Newsom, who’s also the beneficiary of a multi-million-dollar trust from her wealthy family, receives a $150,000 annual salary from the Representation Project, and her company took another $150,000 from the charity’s funds.
Her unusually high compensation to her and her company has recently sparked criticism from charity watchdogs – with a Daily Mail analysis showing Siebel Newsom and her nonprofit colleagues earn more than 95% of charities of a similar size.
‘As [Governor Newsom] continues his national rebrand tour, the fact that he and his wife put one third of their “charity” revenues into their own pockets will undoubtedly raise red flags in the eyes of middle class Americans,’ Caitlin Sutherland, executive director of the conservative transparency nonprofit Americans for Public Trust, told the Daily Mail, referencing the $300,000 paid to Siebel Newsom and her firm.
There are around 23,000 charities in the US with revenues between $1 million and $2 million, in the IRS database of nonprofits.
Fewer than 5% of them pay their executives more than the Representation Project, if Siebel Newsom’s salary and pay to her company is included, an analysis by the Daily Mail shows.
The salary for the median executive at a nonprofit that size is just $31,945, according to figures from the IRS database. Siebel Newsom and her company earned almost ten times that.

Both longtime Republican Texas Sen. John Cornyn and his GOP primary opponent Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton have been invited to the upcoming Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), although only one will attend.
While Paxton has been listed as a confirmed speaker on CPAC’s website since March 6, a spokesperson for Cornyn told the Daily Caller News Foundation that the senator will not attend the annual gathering of conservative activists set to be held in his home state. The spokesperson cited the fact that the upper chamber will be in session and voting during the week of the conference.
Cornyn and Paxton are competing for the Republican nomination to face Democratic Texas Senate nominee James Talarico, and are set to head to a May 26 runoff election after neither candidate received a majority of the vote in the March 3 primary, during which Cornyn narrowly finished in first place.
Set to take place from March 25-28 in Grapevine, Texas, the next CPAC may serve as a prime opportunity for Paxton, who is running to the right of the 24-year incumbent, to make his case to the party faithful as President Donald Trump has yet to endorse either candidate.

“All eyes will be on the result as the Senate struggles with the Save Act,” the X post added, referring to a Trump-backed election integrity bill that has generated fierce opposition from Democrats.
Paxton’s office and CPAC did not immediately respond to the DCNF’s requests for comment.
Trump announced in a Truth Social post sent March 4, the day after the Texas Senate primary, that he will endorse either Cornyn or Paxton “soon,” adding “I will be asking the candidate that I don’t Endorse to immediately DROP OUT OF THE RACE!” However, he has not backed either contender more than a week after the announcement. The president is delaying issuing an endorsement to focus on rallying Republican senators to pass the SAVE Act, Politico reported Monday, citing two anonymous sources.
Paxton wrote in a post to X March 5, one day after Trump’s Truth post teasing an endorsement, that he “would consider dropping out of this race if Senate Leadership agrees to lift the filibuster and passes the SAVE America Act.” Less than a week later, Cornyn wrote in a Wednesday op-ed published in the New York Post that he would support nixing the filibuster to pass the universal voter ID bill.
CPAC came under scrutiny Tuesday when it announced that former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon was a confirmed speaker in its March lineup. The Jeffrey Epstein files released by the Department of Justice in late January show that Bannon and the child sex trafficker exchanged thousands of texts and emails after Bannon had left the first Trump administration.
Other confirmed speakers that will address the conference include Reza Pahlavi — the son of the last shah of Iran, former U.K. Prime Minister Liz Truss, independent journalist Nick Shirley and Daily Caller Editor-in-Chief Amber Duke, according to CPAC’s website.

Amid concern that radical Islam is influencing violent attacks across America in the wake of President Donald Trump’s Operation Epic Fury in Iran, a Muslim reformer warns that Americans can expect more attacks in the short term, though he expects a positive result in Iran will bring the threat to an end.
“In the next few weeks, we need to be vigilant, there’s probably going to be more attacks,” Dr. M. Zuhdi Jasser, a Muslim reformer who founded the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, told The Daily Signal in a phone interview Friday. Jasser draws a clear distinction between political Islam or Islamism—the movement dedicated to imposing Islamic law, Sharia, on the broader society—and the practice of Muslims who stand for American values and religious freedom.
A White House official told The Daily Signal that the administration is closely monitoring intelligence regarding threats.
“The entire Trump administration is closely monitoring all intelligence and remains vigilant to deter potential threats if they arise,” the official said in a statement Friday. “This situation underscores how critical our efforts have been to deport criminal illegal aliens, institute travel restrictions from various countries, and restore integrity to America’s law enforcement organizations – even before any military action in Iran.”
Jasser, a primary care doctor and military veteran, noted that the people carrying out attacks in the U.S. “are not getting orders from Tehran, it’s just part of the Jihadi brand as they have a final opportunity to act out with the propaganda that’s coming out as a result of the war.”
Jasser, a Republican candidate for Congress in Arizona’s 4th Congressional District, predicted that Trump’s joint operation with Israel will give cover for the Iranian people to pursue their freedom and defeat “one of the primary global hive minds of radical Islam, which is Tehran.”
Violent attackers don’t represent the beginning of a new threat, but the last gasp of a long-term one, he argued.
“Many of these Islamists that have been waiting for that time in which they get to be soldiers and to the Jihadi ‘cool’ thing, which is to end their lives in what they feel is going to heaven but ultimately is a genocidal act… it’s their last opportunity to do so,” Jasser said. Their violence “proves that they are an internal threat to our democracy and our freedoms, and that we’re doing the right thing in Iran.”
The Muslim reformer spoke after America experienced at least four violent attacks seemingly motivated by Islamism after Operation Epic Fury began.
1. Texas Shooting
A gunman later identified as Ndiaga Diagne opened fire at a bar in Austin, Texas, early Sunday morning, about 24 hours after President Trump announced Operation Epic Fury. Diagne, a naturalized citizen who had been born in Senegal, killed two people and wounded 14 before police shot and killed him. He had been wearing a shirt with an Iranian flag and a hoodie reading “Property of Allah.” The FBI is investigating the shooting as an act of terrorism, possibly tied to the war.
2. Gracie Mansion Bombing
On Saturday, March 7, Emir Balat, 18, and Ibrahim Kayumi, 19, attempted to detonate two improvised explosive devices, targeting protesters outside Gracie Mansion, the residence of New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani. The protesters had been opposing radical Muslims. According to the Justice Department, both men expressed their support for the Islamic State, or ISIS.
3. Old Dominion University
On Thursday, Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, 36, shouted “Allahu Akbar” before opening fire inside a classroom for the Reserve Officer Training Corps at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, according to an FBI special agent. Jalloh killed an Army ROTC instructor and injured two others. Jalloh, who died of stabbing injuries after the ROTC students responded in self-defense, had previously been convicted of attempting to provide material support to ISIS.
4. Temple Israel Synagogue
Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, 41, a Lebanese-born naturalized citizen, rammed a vehicle into the building of Temple Israel Synagogue in West Bloomington Township, Michigan, on Thursday. He damaged the building and engaged in gunfire with armed security, who killed him. The FBI has described the attack as a targeted act of violence against the Jewish community. A source in Michigan’s Lebanese American community told CBS News that an Israeli airstrike in Lebanon killed the suspect’s two brothers and other family members.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations, which bills itself as the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights organization but has faced criticism for historic ties to terrorist funding networks and for condemnations of Israel’s war in Gaza, condemned the recent acts of violence in the U.S.
“Regardless of whether the recent attacks were motivated by opposition to the U.S.-Israel bombing of Iran or motivated by ideological extremism, they are unacceptable crimes that the American Muslim community condemns,” a CAIR spokesperson told The Daily Signal in a statement Friday.
“American Muslims will, God willing, continue speaking out against all forms of criminal violence, whether terrorism and hate crimes here at home or ethnic cleansing and genocide overseas,” the spokesperson added.
Jasser attributed some of the threat to lax border enforcement under the previous administrations of Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
He warned of the “unvetted invasion” of the Obama and Biden years, where many crossing the border have been “known to be adherents to the ideologies of radical Islamism, be it on the Sunni side of ISIS, Hamas, or the Shia side of Hezbollah, the IRGC, and others.”

Rep. Chip Roy is demanding an “immediate” investigation into the leftist network of activist groups organizing protests against President Donald Trump’s intervention in Iran after some of the network’s leaders met with the Cuban Communist Party’s Politburo earlier this week.
“That this group would openly meet with Cuba tells you how urgent it is for the administration and state law enforcement entities, including attorneys general, to immediately investigate these groups and the myriad other groups that are clearly acting against our national security interests,” the Texas Republican told The Daily Signal in a phone interview Thursday.
Roy suggested that the network is “very clearly operating unlawfully in terms of their engagement with foreign interests.”
“They’re on the side of Iran, they’re on the side of Cuba, they’re on the side of anything opposing America, and they’re operating within our framework in our country,” he added. “The fact that they’re openly going and engaging and sitting down with Cuba … it just tells you how coordinated the entire network is.”
Vijay Prashad, executive director of Tricontinental: Institute for Social Research, a hub of the activist network funded by Shanghai-based billionaire Neville Roy Singham, announced the Cuba meeting on X Tuesday.
“Last evening, the [International Peoples’ Assembly] delegation spent several hours with leaders from the Cuban Communist Party Politburo, including the President of Cuba, the Foreign Minister, the no. 2 in the Party, and the head of the International Department,” Prashad wrote.
He further noted that he represented Tricontinental in the meeting, along with Manolo De Los Santos.
“We gave the President a number of our texts,” he added. “We had a very encouraging dialogue about the resilience of the Cuban Revolution and its untiring sense of fight against US hyper-imperialism.”
Santos, the founder of The People’s Forum, and Prashad form part of a network of leftist groups that includes Code Pink and the ANSWER Coalition. These groups organized protests against Trump’s ouster of Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro, and more recently against the attacks on Iran’s regime. The same groups also organized “anti-racism” protests after the 2020 death of George Floyd, and anti-Israel encampments after the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel.
“What we saw, out in the open, was a coordination between the Cuban leadership, including the president and the Politburo of the Cuban Communist Party, and the leaders of the groups that organize mayhem on our streets, over Gaza, [Immigration and Customs Enforcement], Iran, whatever cause comes their way,” Mike Gonzalez, a senior fellow for national security at The Heritage Foundation, told The Daily Signal in a statement Thursday.
“Included in that meeting was Vijay Prashad, Neville Roy [Singham’s] top ideologue and a top leader of the International [Peoples’] Assembly, which was created in Caracas to defend Maduro and which includes CodePink, Manolo De Los Santos, also funded by Singham, a leader of the People’s Forum, and Brian Becker, who holds leadership positions in the Party for Socialism and Liberation and the ANSWER Coalition,” Gonzalez added. “All these groups organize chaos in our streets.”
The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform voted in January to subpoena Singham, over his funding for activist groups and his ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

Let’s Talk Numbers
Christianity and Islam are the two largest religions in the world, with approximately 2.4 billion and 2.6 billion adherents, respectively — literally half the people on our Earth of about 8 billion.
In stark contrast, Judaism comprises 15 million people, about seven-and-a-half million in Israel, about the same number in the United States, and about one million scattered throughout the world.
To see the most vilified state in the entire world, look here at the infinitesimal red strip, surrounded by 300 million Arabs, once enemies until President Donald J. Trump succeeded for the first time in history in establishing the Abraham Accords in 2020, which now include the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, Sudan, Kazakhstan, and Somaliland…with more promised in the near future, once the existential threat that Iran posed to both America and Israel has all but been obliterated by the U.S. and Israel in Operation Epic Fury and Operation Roaring Lion.
Israel is home to more than a million and a half Arabs, a significant number of whom have been elected to Israel’s legislature, the Knesset, and now an Arab Party has been elected to Israeli leadership. Nevertheless, those scary Jews are such a menace that here is how Israel’s surrounding states have practiced ethnic cleansing for decades.
But nothing compares to the long and besieged history of the Jews. And neither time nor education has dented the scourge of Jew-hatred. The human species seems to have a need to hate, and the Jews are always the perfect targets for bullies who prey upon small marks, as well as the green-eyed fanatics who cannot help caving to their pathological jealousy.
Emotion Is Stronger than Intellect
Most people thought anti-Semitism had been relegated to the trash bin of history after Hitler and millions of his willing executioners ––as Daniel Goldhagen has written––from Germany, Poland, Austria, France, Belgium, Switzerland, et al. — with savage premeditation — gassed to death six million Jews in the 1930s and ’40s.
But the sad truth is that the world’s hatred of God’s “Chosen People” simply went underground after the Holocaust, while racist parents continued to imbue their children with “the oldest hatred.” Sure enough, it has burst forth in all its hysterical ugliness in — of all places — the Democrat Congress!
As the late Chief Rabbi of the United Kingdom, Jonathan Sacks, explained: “Anti-Semitism is a virus that survives by mutating. In the Middle Ages, Jews were hated because of their religion. In the 19th and 20th centuries they were hated because of their race. Today they are hated because of their nation state, Israel. Anti-Zionism is the new anti-Semitism.”
That is not to minimize the virtual pandemic of anti-Semitism that erupted after Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, an attack that was apparently so inspiring that it made seemingly normal people––including heads of many governments and once-objective political commentators like Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens––side with the murderers of 1,200 innocent Israelis, and rationalize the savage rapes of Jewish women, the wrenching of babies out of their arms to be put in hot ovens to bake to death, the incarceration of hundreds of hostages in rancid tunnels, deprived of food and physically and psychologically abused beyond description.
In their twisted viewpoints, they called it “the resistance.”
Yet despite the actual pandemic of anti-Semitism, the Jews of the world have stayed laser-focused on their mission to improve the world, which goes back to the Bible up until this very day.

And that is exactly what President Donald Trump has done to this point in the war with Iran. When asked about public polling — where most surveys show a majority opposing the war — Trump responded, “I don’t care about polling.”
That statement gained my immediate attention, because in almost every conversation or meeting I have had with the president, he often references the polls — favorable polls.
I note this not as criticism, but to commend the president for stepping into the role of a statesman who leads in the direction the nation needs to go, regardless of the political consequences.
The stock market — very familiar territory for the president — has gone a bit wobbly. Gas prices have risen quickly, though they remain below the peak Americans experienced in the summer of 2022, when the average gallon approached $5. Some congressional Republicans are also expressing concern about the possible impact on the midterm elections.
These are big issues — in the short term. That is why most administrations confronting the Iranian nuclear threat sought to contain it, if they could not avoid it altogether.
To use a familiar phrase from American politics over the last 60 or 70 years, they simply kicked the can down the road so the next administration — or the next generation — would deal with it.
Donald Trump concluded there was no road left.
Open sources suggest Iran possessed roughly 1,000 pounds of uranium enriched to 60% before the launch of Operation Epic Fury. Iran was racing to reach the 90% weapons-grade level — enough material for roughly 10 nuclear warheads. Enough to hold the world hostage, if not destroy large parts of it.
If there has been a justifiable war since World War II, this may be it. This is not defending oil-rich countries made wealthy by American dependence. This is confronting a direct threat to our security and to that of our natural ally, Israel.
When the leadership of a rogue regime repeatedly calls America the “Great Satan,” vows to destroy us, and sponsors repeated terrorist attacks against Americans — at what point should we believe them?
As president, Donald Trump had the constitutional authority to act. Based on the available facts, the war is justified, and the stated purpose is right: peace in the Middle East and justice for the Iranian people.
President Trump should be commended for taking the regime at its word and responding — not because it was politically popular, but because it was justified, militarily and morally.
And in doing so, he illustrated the very principle Burke described 250 years ago: a leader who governs not by the polls, but by judgment.

Back to Red/Green Alliance and their CRAZY thinking anti-American actions vs. COMMON SENSE, Pro-American actions. Following is a list of what the CRAZY’S stand for and support — or hills they have chosen to die on. Note that these are not listed in any priority sequence but all are bad and some are overlapping in scope or content.
1. No national election integrity e.g. nothing in law to prevent illegal aliens from fraudulently voting in our elections e.g. no support for SAVE Act. No Voter ID; eliminate the Electoral College, steal elections with fake paper ballots, etc.
2. Open borders allowing 20 million illegal aliens to invade our country during Obama and Biden regimes (10-15 during Biden) — note, since these illegal aliens violated our immigration laws, they are criminals even if no prior records. In addition to the crime many of these illegals have brought — they are costing us
$151B a year in taxpayer funds to pay for free social security benefits, schools, medical care, phones etc.
3. Men allowed in Women’s sports; women’s restrooms; women’s prisons.
4. Mutilation of children based on false claims of need for gender transition long before their brains are mature and thinking is critical.
5. Support for Islamic, Sharia law which ignores our Constitutional law; brings violence and fraud and does not promote assimilation. Under Sharia non-Muslims who won’t convert to Islam are Infidels who only deserve to be killed, enslaved, groomed/raped or taxed into poverty.
6. Abortions provided on demand resulting in murder of over 60 M babies all in the false name of “woman’s health”.
7. Defunding of Police and replacement with feckless social services.
8. Lawfare against political opponents resulting in illegal FBI censorship, raids, charges and trials by corrupt leftist judges legislating from bench and issuing injunctions in attempts to stop all POTUS Trump’s great EOs.
9. Green New Deal; Climate Change; Great Reset; ESG all of which will reduce American prosperity while making 1%ers richer; inefficient, costly, low lifespan; raptor killing windmills are good alternative energy sources; coal, natural gas and nuclear power are bad .
10. Push for Public schools, colleges and universities to indoctrinate students with liberal ideology; LGBTQxyz perversion; pro-Hamas, antisemitism; and other Communist; Democrat Socialist and Islamic propaganda.
11. Denigration of both Christianity and Judaism replaced with secular humanism, atheism and/or Islamism.

Continued false emphasis on Marxist CRT including U.S. is a systemic racist nation; there are no real truths including God’s truth (only what individuals think are true); use of “revisionist” history to try to make America look bad and destroy American Exceptionalism with lies such as “Christian Nationalists are White Supremacists” , “white privilege”; white males are biggest threat to nation; and other ID politics like BLM.
14. Humiliating your opponents and constant chaos are keys to “social justice” and now even violence against political opponents is justified.
15. Criminals like narco terrorists; violent illegal alien demonstrators attacking police and others; etc. should be protected and provided Due Process.
16. Violence against political opponents including assassination fits the communist mantra of “the ends justify the means”.
17. Accuse your political opponents of that which you do.
18. Weakening of our military, DHS, FBI, DOJ, CIA other governmental entities with “social engineering” such as DEI and Transgender hires and promotions so that we aren’t perceived as a threat by other nations including our enemies.
19. Spread the myth of “toxic masculinity” and replace with “femininity”; that men should not be the leaders of families; that LGBTQ “families” are just as stable as nuclear families made up of one man, one women and their child(ren).
20. Marriage and having children is bad for women’s independence and happiness (it has been proven that unmarried, childless women especially those under the age of 45 are the most angry and unhappy people on the planet. Just look at who you see are in the majority at protests against ICE and other common sense government activities.
21. Draconian gun control is the answer to reducing crime in the U.S., never mind that criminals will obtain guns illegally and the murder rate is down 20% across the country since the border has been sealed.
22. Islam is a religion of peace. This is a complete lie as evidenced by violent attacks by Islamists against Americans as well as Christians and Jews world-wide. Islam is actually a geo-political theocratic form of ideology/government with the goal of world conquest by terrorism; migration; rape/grooming of infidel women/girls; high birth rate. Islam is not a race but and ideology which involves people of all races and ethnicities.
23. The main threat to the USA is white supremacy and white men. Another total fallacy. The main threat is the Red/Green alliance including Communism and Islamism and their common goal of world-wide domination. This includes the Communist Chinese who are the leading Communist power (together with surrogates like N. Korea, Cuba, many African countries) as well as Islamic governed countries like Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and others.

Friday the 13th marks the beginning of the third week of the Iran war. And despite the doom and gloom from Democrats in Congress and their spokespeople in the media, we are winning. Big time.
According to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, General Dan Caine, we have destroyed 90% of Iran’s ballistic missiles, 95% of their drones, and are well on the way to destroying their ability not just to assemble more, but to manufacture missile and drone components.
We have sunk all major combatants of the Iranian navy and are now turning to their mosquito boats, the speedboats hand-fitted with a couple of launch tubes that Iran hoped to use to “swarm” US warships in the Persian Gulf.
The Iranians have had some success, however.
On Wednesday, they managed to strike five commercial ships using drones: two tankers, a container ship, a bulk carrier, and a cargo vessel. Four were hit inside the Persian Gulf, the fifth in the Gulf of Oman.
The clear goal of the attacks was to shut down the Strait of Hormuz and drive oil prices through the roof. Within hours, oil prices again spiked over $100 per barrel.
President Trump responded by announcing that the US would provide political risk insurance and escort ships through the Strait.
He also announced we would release 170 million barrels from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve and temporarily waive sanctions on Russian oil. That calmed both the oil and the stock markets, even though the US Navy has yet to escort a single vessel.
So far, Iran’s strategy has been a bust. They thought that by attacking the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia, they would so terrify the Gulf Arabs they would beg the United States to end the war. Instead, the Gulf Arabs joined the fight.
This week, the Iranians doubled down, launching missiles on their own allies Oman, Turkey, and Iraq.
Inside Iran, the news gets better.
The regime leadership has apparently fled Tehran for Mashad, on the border with Afghanistan, and the new Supreme Leader has gone to ground. Secretary of War Hegseth says he believes he has been wounded and “probably disfigured.”
In one video clip I watched, Bassiji’s are frantically waving traffic and pedestrians away from what had been planned as a funeral cortege for fallen militiamen because of an Israeli drone strike.
This is a strategy aimed at emboldening the Iranian people to rise. And that is what I think ultimately will happen.
As I describe in this week’s Prophecy Today Weekend podcast, I believe the US should encourage and support liberated zones along Iran’s borders. This can start in the northwest provinces bordering Iraqi Kurdistan and spread down to the strategic oil fields near Ahwaz in the south, as well as to the eastern border with Pakistan.
Iran’s periphery is inhabited by ethnic minorities, predominantly Sunni Muslims, who have been treated like third class citizens by this regime for 47 years. Their time has come.
The United States can provide overwatch to prevent regime massacres, just as we did in Iraqi Kurdistan in the 1990s. If these ethnic militias join forces with the nationalist and republican forces in Iran’s heartland, the regime will be over.
Ultimately, that is the name of the game. Not until we break the regime’s will to fight can we declare victory.

The “New” Ayatollah has arrived, and it is a horrible joke played on the back of a nation. As of March 9, 2026, the Assembly of Experts — under the boot of the Revolutionary Guard – has officially crowned Mojtaba Khamenei as the Supreme Leader. This is not a leadership transition; it is a palace coup by a shadow prince who has spent fifty-six years hiding behind his father’s robes.
For decades, the Islamic Republic claimed to be a revolutionary departure from the hereditary monarchy of the Shah. Today, that mask has been incinerated. By placing Mojtaba on the throne, the regime has revealed itself as nothing more than a tyrant mullah.
Let us be clear: Mojtaba Khamenei has generally the same credentials for the job as a 100-pound black lab. Zip. Nada.
In a system that ostensibly requires the “Supreme Leader” to be a pinnacle of Islamic jurisprudence, Mojtaba is a lightweight. He has never held a responsible job, never managed a government department, and has zero formal management training. His “career” consists entirely of being his father’s gatekeeper. He is a man of the shadows who has never won an election, never faced a public debate, and never managed anything more complex than his own illicit financial networks.
The people of Iran are expected to bow to a man who entered the seminary relatively late in life and whose only “scholarly” achievement is being the son of the previous boss. It is an insult to the intelligence of every Iranian citizen.
Make no mistake, this is not a man of peace. Mojtaba is the darling of the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) precisely because he is a hollow vessel for their militant agenda. While he lacks the theological weight of his predecessors, he is deeply embedded in the security apparatus that has spent decades murdering its own people.
He was the architect of the 2009 crackdown on the Green Movement, a man who views dissent not as a dialogue but as a target. His rise signals a “defiant consolidation” – a regime retreating into its bunker, doubling down on missile projects and regional proxy wars while the Iranian people starve under the weight of his father’s failures.
This is not a government; it is a protection racket. The IRGC has hand-picked Mojtaba not for his wisdom, but for his weakness. They require a Supreme Leader who is beholden to the bayonets of the Basij and the ballistic missile commands. By placing a man with zero military experience and zero administrative history at the helm, the Guard has ensured that the “Supreme” office is nothing more than a rubber stamp for their own corporate and militant expansion. Mojtaba is the ultimate “Shadow Man,” a cardboard cutout designed to provide a face for a military junta that has completely cannibalized the Iranian state. He is their insurance policy against accountability.
Even the digital world is beginning to recoil from this illegitimate transition. On March 12, 2026, reports surfaced that Elon Musk’s X platform has become a battleground for the regime’s propaganda, with the Trump administration already denouncing the broadcasting of the new leader’s messages as state-sponsored terrorism.
The regime is desperately trying to use Western platforms to project an image of stability, but the world sees the truth: an injured and hiding “leader” who cannot even show his face to the public he claims to rule.
This appointment is a great injustice to the people of Iran. It is a desperate gasp from a dying theocracy trying to survive through nepotism. The appointment of Mojtaba Khamenei is the final proof that the system is unreformable.
The streets of Tehran have already begun to echo with the cries of “Death to Mojtaba!” during the night. The Iranian people do not want a “Wonder Dog” Ayatollah; they want their country back. They do not want a “Khamenei’s Prince”; they want a new and modern Iran.
The transition to Mojtaba is not a sign of strength; it is a sign of a regime that has run out of ideas and out of time. There is no “maybe” here. There is no “partly.” This is a total betrayal of the Iranian nation. We do not need dialogue with a hereditary cleric; we need full and complete regime change.
The thunder is rolling in the streets of Iran. The “Shadow Men” of the March 9 CC News report are finally being dragged into the light, and they will find no shelter there. The era of the Khamenei dynasty ends not with a peaceful handover, but with the total and necessary collapse of this fraudulent house of cards. We need full and complete regime change. Anything less is a death sentence for Iran.
The Florida Senate passed voter ID legislation Thursday, sending the bill to Gov. Ron DeSantis’ desk, as the SAVE America Act stalls in the U.S. Senate.
SB 1334, a bill to strengthen the verification process for voters’ citizenship status, passed the Sunshine State’s Senate 27-12, fulfilling the prediction of Florida Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia earlier Thursday.
The bill had passed the Florida House, 83-21, in February.
“These new laws will further help protect the ballot box,” Jeremy Redfern, deputy chief of staff to Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier, told The Daily Signal. “We thank the Florida Legislature for being champions of election integrity and look forward to this legislation hitting Governor DeSantis’ desk for his signature.”
The bill will require voters to verify their citizenship with a photo identification card and require the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to note the citizenship status of drivers who receive new identification.
Prior to the vote, Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis announced in a social media post that he will sign the bill into law.
“Although Florida has already enacted much of what the federal legislation contemplates, this will further fortify our state as the leader in election integrity,” DeSantis wrote on X.
Republican state Rep. David Borrero told The Daily Signal that he refers to SB 1334 as the “SAVE Act,” like the national legislation, “because it helps save our democratic elections.”
“Requiring proof of citizenship ensures that voters are actually eligible to vote. Our system cannot be hijacked by noncitizens,” Borrero added.
Borrero attacked the 31 Democrats who voted against the bill in the state House.
“Clearly, it’s because they want illegals to vote in our elections,” he charged. “They are very weak on illegal immigrants; they incentivize it.”
The legislation, if signed into law, will take effect in January 2027.
Both Borrero and Ingoglia said there is no excuse for Republicans in the federal government to fail to pass voter ID when Florida passed the bill so efficiently.
“I agree with this 110%,” Borrero said. “Our entire U.S. Constitution relies on a system where only citizens vote. We cannot allow foreign nationals to hijack that system. This bill is needed to combat illegal voting all across the country, especially in states like California and New York.”
Borrero added that the bill is “so commonsense, that it wasn’t necessary before. But since the Left is so radicalized, we need to implement this now.”
During his press conference, Ingoglia issued similar remarks, adding that there is “zero reason” for a Republican-controlled Congress to be unable to pass “a very much-needed piece of legislation.”
The SAVE America Act, which has been championed by President Donald Trump and passed by the U.S. House of Representatives three times since 2024, continues to stall in the Senate, allegedly over bipartisan opposition.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., has promised to bring the bill to a vote in the Senate next week, but a source familiar with the matter previously told The Daily Signal the vote will be considered a “show vote.”
“I can confirm, it looks like Thune is planning to bring it to a vote next week as a show vote,” the source said. “Despite outrage from GOP voters and the specific request of the president, he is not planning on pursuing a standing filibuster or any other method to actually pass the bill.”
A standing filibuster would bypass the 60-vote threshold needed to pass legislation and allow the legislation to pass with just 50 votes.
There are currently 53 Republicans in the Senate.

There’s a lot of talk about a Make America Great split among Trump supporters, and this originated here in context with the Iranian war. I’m speaking on a Monday, the 10th day of the war. And there’s talk in the air that the MAGA base may desert President Donald Trump because, after all, MAGA’s credo was no optional wars in the Middle East.
That came out of a disgust with the 20-year misadventure in Afghanistan and the skedaddle from Kabul that left billions of dollars of weapons, and, of course, the 8,000-plus dead and more casualties in the Iraq and Afghanistan war. But this is different.
This war is only conducted by air, and there’s certain characteristics of it that we haven’t seen before. It’s a top-down war.
We are targeting the leaders, not the military rank and file. We have been taking out, along with the Israelis, 50, 60, a hundred scientists, generals, mullahs, political leaders to decapitate, not try to organically destroy the entire Iranian military.
Second, they were all part of negotiations. We were negotiating with Iran and gave them a lot of options. Just don’t fund your terrorist proxies. Don’t create a bomb, knock it off. And they didn’t want to do it. It’s just like the prior Iran strike last year, where we gave them another option.
It’s very different. You can’t really change a regime, we’re told, if you don’t have ground troops. But maybe there’s something different about the modern age with the sophisticated satellite imagery and reconnaissance, that you know where individual people are by their GPS footprint, by their cellphone communications.
And then you couple that with these highly sophisticated missiles and drones where you can actually take something through a window and dispatch somebody at a meeting. We’ve never quite seen that before.
So, you don’t really need a sniper to take out a toxic Hitlerian-type of leader.
The other thing is that Donald Trump pretty much knows there’s three alternatives that we’ve talked about before. And none of them really require ground troops.
The most desirable obviously would be to get an interim government, maybe former dissidents, get expatriates back, depose the mullahs so that there are—or people in the army, depose them, and then you have elections. That would be wonderful, with the problem solved.
Or you could find somebody within the apparatus, the theocracy that was a dissident and felt that he had military backing, and he would, you know, pick the Venezuela solution. Sort of what we see in Venezuela. We’re not going to nation-build.
The worst scenario is not all that bad. We say stew in your own juice. You know, we mow the lawn and we can do it anytime we want.
We can come back in and destroy your new navy, your new missiles as long as we have a president, post-Trump, who’s willing to do that and ensure that they don’t become nuclear again, or they don’t build another missile fleet. And that’s reflected, getting back to my original point, in the MAGA so-called dissidents.
If you look at polls, and there were some released by CNN, Donald Trump has 87% support among Republicans. That is much higher than Joe Biden had among Democrats or even Barack Obama had among Democrats. And when you look at the MAGA base, the people who identify themselves as Trump Conservatives or Trump MAGA people, the support for the Iran war is over 90%.
And now why? How could that be, when they have told us that there’s a widespread civil war among the MAGA people? That’s what the Left is saying. But when you look at the people who are objecting, you know, it’s the Steve Bannon wing, the Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, maybe Megyn Kelly, I don’t know.
And they’re saying that this is contrary to the MAGA philosophy of no optional wars. It would be if we insert ground troops, and we’re there for months.
I mean, if we end up bombing, as Barack Obama did, in Libya for seven months without congressional authority, one of the last things he did while in office was to bomb Libya, then that would be another matter.
But nobody has ever seen a war in which one side destroyed the entire air force of the enemy, the entire navy of the enemy, and has got pretty much 90% of its ballistic missile arsenal nullified and probably 85% of the drones and decapitated the entire command and control of the military. And now is looking at secondary targets where maybe Revolutionary Guard headquarters and regional areas, but there hasn’t really been any American losses of equipment.
We’ve had, tragically, seven people killed. But tragically and terribly as that is, in a war of 10 days with being that kinetic, it’s very rare to see such few casualties.
I mean, we’re looking at the Ukraine war. There’s been 1,200,000 Russians killed and probably another two million wounded, probably three or 400,000 Ukrainians. So, this isn’t comparable to what we’ve seen.
And I think the president understands that there is a deadline. And the deadline is going to be met. And the deadline consists of we do not want this war to drag on with the midterms coming up. And he wants to pivot back to the economy.
And the people on the MAGA base who are saying that the party is split in two, they don’t really have a constituency, as the polls, I just told you, illustrate.
They’re loud, they have audiences, and they make points that, you know, you can consider. But they don’t represent a constituency, at least not yet.
On the other side, this sort of, on-to-Cuba, Lindsey Graham wing of the party, I think that after Venezuela, which we didn’t lose anybody. We lost some wounded people that were hurt, but we have a Venezuela solution of a strong person there that will be an improvement over Nicolas Maduro and might lead to elections.
But we’re not going to go on the ground and insist that we’re going to create Carmel, California, in Venezuela.
And we have, as I said earlier, three choices and they’re all preferable to what’s there now in Iran, how the war in Iran ends.
And so, after that, I think the president will say, I’m going to concentrate on making sure that the Western Hemisphere is free, and it’s not captive to the cartels, and it doesn’t kill Americans.
And obviously Cuba might be a concern, but there’s no need now to go into Cuba or to bomb Cuba to do any of that. It’s falling. It’s dying on the vine. And the more pressure we apply, insidiously so, not kinetic or dramatic, it’ll soon, I think, deteriorate to a point where there’ll be a change of government.
But that’s something in the future.
Right now, I think the MAGA base and the Republicans are sticking with Trump because they don’t see oil prices spiking. They don’t see the economy in danger, and they don’t see the war dragging on for months and months like the Libyan fiasco or the misadventures in Afghanistan and Iraq.
What we’re looking at instead, I think, is a spectacular achievement of getting rid of the two worst governments that we were dealing with in Venezuela.
And if we don’t get rid of the one in Iran, at least it’s neutered or nullified so it doesn’t have the clout to subsidize terrorists, and it doesn’t have the wherewithal to threaten us or our allies in Europe, in the Middle East.
More importantly, the Gulf states are now openly hostile or at war with Iran, and they will not be subsidizing Hamas or Hezbollah or the Houthis to the same degree they were in the past, and Iran won’t be doing it at all.
I think people have absorbed that, and now it’s time, I think, to think of the midterms and if they can, they being the Trump people, can overturn the historical trends that the in party usually loses the first midterm, dramatically loses seats in the House and Senate. And maybe they can avoid that by having good economic news.
And with the deregulation, the tax cuts, the energy development, the foreign investment, the interest rates coming down. I think there’s a good chance by June or July, as I’ve said earlier, the economy will be strong and he can point to the foreign policy successes, and that is reflected in the overwhelming support that the recent polls show for the Trump agenda.

We are at war. This war is aimed at you, your family, your country and at Western civilization as a whole. To survive and win the war awareness and knowledge about the enemy is imperative. “Operation Epic Fury” is a part of a war waged against Western civilization in the 20th century: Now, it is a fury response to that war. But America is divided over “Operation Epic Fury,” even some decent Democrats are against it. That happened, because. America was missing the Russian history of the 20th century and didn’t know that Venezuela and Iran are countries of Soviet fascism. The title WWIII: It is not Marxism; it is Soviet Fascism requires knowledge of all three terms. As a former Soviet attorney. I have been writing about WWIII and Marxism for decades, and about Soviet Fascism for the last 15-20 years. I have been writing about all terms of the title, because they are inextricably connected. Russia was the first and the only country to win the victory of Socialist Revolution in1917. The Soviet/Russian system of Socialism, a corrupt, abusive, and violent system has been spread globally.
The Soviet/Russian Dictator Stalin has established a highly-centralized regime of one-party system, a brutal force of the Police State with huge Security Apparatus—the system of Soviet Socialism. History gave Stalin a nickname: “the famous murderer of the 20th century.” But America, especially young people, are not familiar with that. Perhaps only Anne Applebaum examines the systematic repression and terror employed by Stalin’s regime. I was also writing about it, but my prime subject was the agency that carried out the murders, repressions and deportations of the dissidents—the KGB’s Mfia/Army—the Evil Doer (my term).
Unfortunately, neither Democrats nor some Republicans know a very intriguing fact in History of the 1930s. Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933 due to the democratic election in Germany. Stalin began designing his economic system of Soviet Socialism at the same time, after he killed, imprisoned, and deported all his political opponents, old Bolsheviks. Before WWII Stalin and Hitler were partners. To secure the Fascist Ideology of Germany for a thousand years, Hitler had established the powerful agency—Gestapo. To secure his model of Soviet Socialism, Stalin had recognized well-known the KGB, a Law Enforcement agency. The Soviet people called the KGB—the Soviet Gestapo. By doing that, both Hitler and Stalin had weaponized and secured their ideological and economic systems. The model of Stalin’s Soviet Socialism has been exported throughout the globe—a conspiracy against Western civilization. This is the main focus of WWIII. Just recall the activities of Biden’s team and you will recognize the model of Soviet Socialism in America.
In terms of Marxism, Karl Marx gave to the world the Marxist Theory, a utopian Theory (Theory—hypothesis assumed for the sake of argument or investigation).Dictionary. Please, remember the definition of Theory. There are four main points in Marxist Theory, the fourth one is that: “Marxist Theory can be applied only in industrially developed European countries.” Karl Marx. Marxist Theory was very successful in Europe, but no one country materialized the Theory in Europe. Contrary to the Marxist Theory, the first Socialist Revolution occurred in 1917 Russia, an agricultural country. The leader of the revolution, Lenin was assassinated and Joseph Stalin had become an ultimate ruler of a former Great Russian Empire spreading eleven time zones.
Stalin knew Marxist Theory, in his youth, he was traveling to Azerbaijan both Russian and part of Persian/Iran to organize Marxist groups. Knowing the area, he bequeathed to begin the invasion of his Soviet Socialism in the Middle East from Iran. Stalin had married his model of Soviet Socialism with Islam; it was the fusion of criminal Ideology with menacing force. Stalin’s devoted disciples materialized it by implementing the model of Soviet Socialism, which I called Soviet Fascism in Iran. By the way, the Revolutions of 1979 in the Middle East have been designed, orchestrated and supervised by the Chairman of the KGB Yuri Andropov 1967-1982. He had developed Stalin’s legacy and became the First Secretary of the Communist Party of the USSR in 1982.
Another Stalin’s devoted disciple, Putin has continued Andropov’s design. After the assassination of a prominent political figure and a reformist, St. Petersburg Governor Anatoly Sobchak, on September 20, 1989, Putin left for Moscow. He fooled Yeltsin and became his advisor. Vey soon he was catapulted from the KGB to the Prime Minister of Russia and then to President. Nobody knew the word drone 28-30 years ago, at the time Vladimir Putin gave an order to Iran to build the Drone factory. He even supervised the construction. By that time Iran had a strong connection with the KGB’s Mafia/Army through the Intel Apparatus and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard of Iran. Russia and Iran have been tied economically, ideologically and strategically, of course, they share the Intel. They were partners, as all countries of Soviet Socialism, which I called Soviet Fascism. Russia designed and used all her proxies in terrorist activities throughout the world. The Evil Empire is alive and well and all her proxies are Evils. Russia shared her power with China in the 21st century—it became a new “Axis of Evil” . The time has come to call a Spade a Spade—we are dealing with Soviet Fascism spread globally.
When I was teaching in the New York University; student always asked me: Why didn’t European countries follow Marxist Theory, though he was very popular? It was a difficult question, but I tried to answer. Do you know the European intellectual movement of the 18th century, called Enlightenment? It was heavily influenced by 17th-century philosophers such as Descartes, Locke, and Newton, and its prominent exponents include Kant, Goethe, Voltaire, Rousseau, and Adam Smith. Look at this constellation of geniuses, teaching the West reason and individuality for two centuries of successful development of capitalism. None of them was arguing about the war. Karl Marx started with war and abolition of private property. Think about people’s life and culture in Europe for two centuries, some of them have already enjoy private property. For them Marx Theory was a bombshell… My students have been satisfied.
While I am writing, the TV is talking about a terrorist plot with explosive devices inspired by ISIS, it is close to the Mamdani Gracie Mention in the center of New York City. Discussing the plot the investigators mention terrorists Tsarnaev brothers, but not naming Russia. I have been writing about Russia for four decades, but our counterintelligence doesn’t read it and this terror in New York is the result of that. Russia is a Terrorist State, all known terrorists’ Islamic groups are controlled and administered by Russia. Many years ago in the 20th century, Stalin married Islam with Communist Ideology, inculcating and instilling Muslim’s brain with ideology, considering a common enemy—Western civilization. It is not a coincidence that I have been reporting about the KGB’s Mafia/Army—the Evil Doer for decades. Do you remember a huge students’ protest in Columbia University? The FBI has warned police departments in California that Iran may retaliate against the United States by launching drones aimed at inflicting damage on the country’s west coast, according to a bombshell ABC News report.
“We recently acquired information that as of early February 2026, Iran allegedly aspired to conduct a surprise attack using unmanned aerial vehicles from an unidentified vessel off the coast of the United State Homeland, specifically against unspecified targets in California, in the event that the US conducted strikes against Iran. We have no additional information on the timing, method, target, or perpetrators of this alleged attack,” read an alert offered by the bureau at the end of last month and the outset of the Trump administration’s ongoing operation in Iran.
ABC News’ John Cohen, the former head of intelligence for the Department of Homeland Security, commented : “We know Iran has an extensive presence in Mexico and South America, they have relationships, they have the drones and now they have the incentive to conduct attacks,” said Cohen. “The FBI is smart for putting this warning out so that state and locals can be better able to prepare and respond to these types of threats. Information like this is critically important for law enforcement.”

A Texas member of the state House of Representatives from the liberal district of Austin catapulted to national fame last week. Why? He beat outspoken Jasmine Crockett in the Democratic primary as a candidate for the U.S. Senate.
After this victory, Congressman James Talarico, said, “We are not just trying to win an election, We are trying to fundamentally change our politics. And it’s working.”
What makes this politician of interest is that in the name of religion, he makes a lot of radical claims. He refers to the Bible as if it supports things that it clearly opposes. One might ask, “What translation is he reading?”
Not that he’s completely unique in this sense. There are liberal denominations, including the one he belongs to—the United Presbyterian Church (USA)—that have largely abandoned much of the plain reading of Scripture. Talarico is working toward a Master of Divinity degree at the denomination’s Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
Because of his expressed religiosity, he is perceived as possibly winning over professing Christians in the Lone Star State.
But is he really just “the left’s Trojan horse,” to use a phrase from Peter Cordi? Writing in the Washington Examiner, Cordi notes, “State Rep. James Talarico, the Democratic nominee for the Texas Senate race, was sold to voters as an ‘electable’ moderate. Now that his old posts are resurfacing, people are starting to see how extreme his views really are.”
▪Talarico promotes open borders. But does he lock his own doors? If so, what hypocrisy.
▪He promotes transgender rights and even wants to make sure transgenders can have access to abortion. But we all know biological men cannot get pregnant.
The Bible notes that the Creator has made us in His image, male and female. Throughout the Scriptures, God uses “He,” “Him,” and “His” in His self-revelation. But He’s supposedly some “nonbinary” entity.
Talarico’s views on life and abortion are also quite radical. He said, “The Virgin Mary consenting to the angel Gabriel’s message suggests that the Bible is pro-choice, and that a woman’s consent is an inextricable part of the creation process.”
In 2022, he wrote a letter to President Biden, pleading the cause of abortion. He complained that “an anti-choice minority has taken advantage of the undemocratic loopholes in our political system to impose their radical program on our country. This minority is threatening our most basic rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”
So, in other words, we need to defend the right to life—by destroying life? Abortion is the deliberate taking of a human life in utero.
And on it goes.
Alex McFarland, a prolific author, preacher, and youth specialist, comments, “Talarico’s faith-based bid to flip Texas to the Democratic Party is nothing more than a plot to persuade Texas Christians to give him a vote. The great state of Texas is tragically becoming less Christian by the day, and ultimate opportunist Talarico is capitalizing on this dip in faith by muddying the water and ultimately creating a brand new religion based on this ‘progressive’ Christ…. Talarico’s version is not the real Jesus.”
The founders of America believed in natural law, which the Creator has impressed upon His creation. Sir William Blackstone, one of the sources quoted by the founding fathers and by the Supreme Court throughout the ages, wrote about “the laws of nature and of nature’s God”—a phrase found in the Declaration of Independence, whose 250th birthday we celebrate this year.
Blackstone penned: “Upon these two foundations, the law of nature and the law of revelation [“the holy scriptures”], depend all human laws; that is to say, no human laws should be suffered to contradict these.”
The founders expected us to be self-governed through religious influence (on a voluntary basis). John Adams famously declared, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
But it would seem to me that politicians like Talarico are using religious words to mask a very secular agenda. An undermined Bible is just as meaningless as no Bible. Yet our nation was built on the Bible.
As President Jackson said, the Bible is “the rock upon which our republic rests.”
When President Lincoln received a copy of the Scriptures, he remarked, “All the good the Savior gave to the world was communicated through this book. But for it we could not know right from wrong.”
Who knew we would have to wait for 21 centuries to find out what the Bible really means after all?
If the likes of Texas State Rep. James Talarico had their way, we would have no clue what is right and what is wrong—even if reading the same book.

The Justice Department is finding thousands of noncitizens and dead people on voter rolls as it pursues more state election records, said Harmeet Dhillon, the assistant attorney general for civil rights, in an interview.
“We’re finding tens of thousands of noncitizens on the voter rolls, hundreds of thousands of dead people on the voter rolls, and duplicate registrations between states,” Dhillon said on “Just the News, No Noise.”
Dhillon based her claim on a review of only 16 Republican-leaning states, such as Florida and Texas, that voluntarily complied with the Justice Department’s request for the election records.
The administration is suing 29 states for the records, seeking to ensure that states are complying with the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 and the Help America Vote Act of 2002. Those laws require states to update their voter registration lists and ensure they are free of names of dead people, or people who no longer reside in jurisdictions where they are registered to vote.
This comes in light of several prosecutions of noncitizens for illegal voting.
This week, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the FBI announced the arrest of Mahady Sacko, an illegal alien from Mauritania, for voter fraud in Philadelphia. ICE asserted he had been illegally voting in the United States since 2008.
Sacko entered the U.S. near Miami, and an immigration judge ordered him removed. Sacko exhausted all appeals, and the Board of Immigration Appeals upheld his removal on Nov. 14, 2002—over two decades ago.
In December, Joe Ceballos resigned as mayor of Coldwater, Kansas, after being arrested for voting multiple times, though he was not a citizen. The Department of Homeland Security announced removal proceedings but Ceballos, a legal permanent resident from Mexico, voted in multiple elections, according to the agency, and faced state charges.
The lawsuits contend the Justice Department has the authority to request and review election records under the Civil Rights Act of 1960.
The DOJ has sued both red and blue states. Most recently, the Justice Department sued Utah, Oklahoma, Kentucky, West Virginia, and the Democrat-leaning New Jersey.
The Justice Department has also sued major Democrat-leaning states, such as California and New York, for voter rolls, as well as battleground states such as Arizona and Georgia.
“It’s really frustrating that we’re being prevented from doing our job,” Dhillon said.
The Justice Department could have a tough road ahead, noted J. Christian Adams, president of the Public Interest Legal Foundation, an election integrity group that has sued states for information on “dirty voter rolls.”
Adams is a former lawyer in the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division.
“It’s decades-old news,” Adams told The Daily Signal of dead voters and noncitizens on voter lists. “Good luck doing anything about it.”
He noted that in cases by the foundation, both the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled states can’t be compelled to clean up voter rolls if they are already making an effort. The Supreme Court declined to hear the cases.
“It’s one thing to get data, it’s another thing to enforce cleaning up the rolls,” Adams said.
A Justice Department spokesperson did not respond to The Daily Signal by publication time to provide more details about the number of ineligible voters found on the voter lists so far.

While the media drones on about the unpopularity of the president’s operation in Iran, Americans’ opinions, with all due respect, don’t really matter. In eight months, voters will have the chance to grade the Trump administration’s decision to level the Islamist regime that’s terrorized the West for decades. But until then, the only thing that anyone should care about, apart from the safety of U.S. troops, is the United States and its allies getting as close to eliminating one of the world’s greatest existential threats as humanely possible.
That doesn’t mean there isn’t confusion about next steps. In one soundbite, President Trump says the war is almost over, and in the next, he allows for the possibility of ground troops. One thing he could certainly stand to improve is his messaging. And yet, as contradictory as his statements may be, the why of the administration’s action should never be in question. As Thérèse Shaheen is quick to point out in National Review, “In the case of Iran, the threat is not speculative. Iran’s intent, capabilities, and behavior have had demonstrably dangerous results for America and Americans.” If the president had intelligence that a “catastrophic conflict” was likely, then acting now, she argues, “may prevent greater destruction later.”
We may never know what classified information went into Trump’s decision-making or timeline, but the reality is this: the majority of people in this country elected him to act in the best interest of America. Like it or not, voters chose him to use his own judgment when it came to confronting the bullies of this world. And they supported him, recognizing that this was a possibility. As Trump himself bragged this week, “No other president had the guts to do it.”
And the reality is, even after months of diplomatic attempts, Iran’s leaders were never interested in peace. “[They’ve] been notorious for using negotiations to drag out talks to continue enriching uranium — while never agreeing to anything,” House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) told Family Research Council President Tony Perkins on “This Week on Capitol Hill.” “They were never going to agree to stop working towards a nuclear weapons program. And so, President Trump finally said, ‘If they will kill tens of thousands of their own people, they will not hesitate to kill Americans if they get a nuclear bomb, and once they get that bomb, it’s too late to negotiate with them, because then you lose that leverage.’ This was the time to strike.”
As a planet, the hope now must be that the alliance of America, Israel, and other Arab nations finishes the job. And based on the reports from Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and other top officials, the U.S. will not accept anything but the complete dismantling of Iran’s military and nuclear power. Deep into its second week, Hegseth told the media that Tuesday “will be yet again our most intense day of strikes inside Iran,” which is a bold statement considering the 5,000 targets already hit.
Meanwhile, the decimated government, including new Supreme Leader Mojitaba Khamenei, is struggling to respond. According to the secretary, “The mullahs are desperate and scrambling. Like the terrorist cowards they are, they fire missiles from schools and hospitals, deliberately targeting innocents, because they know their military is being systematically degraded and annihilated.” Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Caine explained that Iran is “fighting, and I respect that. But I don’t think they’re more formidable than what we thought.” Even now, the conflict is dramatically one-sided. “We’ve made significant progress in reducing the number of missile and drone attacks out of Iran,” Caine acknowledged. “Ballistic missile attacks continue to trend downward, 90% from where they’ve started, and one-way attack drones have decreased 83%, since the beginning of the operation.”
Incredibly, Iran’s targets continue to be other neighbors, which most experts believe only helps the U.S. “The talking points you heard going into this [were], ‘If we ever did what needed to be done with Iran, the whole Middle East would be in an uproar against us,” Rep. Michael Cloud (R-Texas) pointed out on “Washington Watch” Monday. “[And] what we’ve seen is the opposite, where we see other nations, maybe not to the extent we’d like, but they’re certainly not joining in the fight with Iran. They’re saying, ‘These guys have been a menace to our region. We want peace for our kids. We want peace for our family. We want peace for our region. And what that means is taking out the capability of Iran to do evil things in their region and around the world.’”
From a strategic standpoint, broadening their response is foolish, most agree. “Iran has done Trump a favor by attacking all its Arab neighbors,” Elliott Abrams argues, “which makes those neighbors U.S. and Israeli allies. The U.S. does not now need to cajole them into assisting our forces this week and helping to stop Iranian missiles and drones aimed at Israel; we are all on the same side against Iran. We can assume that after the war, there will be new U.S. diplomatic efforts to bring Israel and the Arabs closer by expanding the Abraham Accords.”
While his crippled country tries to retaliate, the younger Khamenei remains in hiding — his dwindling lieutenants still talking tough. Almost comically, Iran’s National Security Council secretary insisted Iran isn’t losing the war before threatening Trump, “Even those greater than you have failed to eliminate the Iranian nation. Be careful not to be eliminated yourself!”
The choice of the late ayatollah’s son was a defiant shot across the bow, most believe. “He’s a chip off the old block,” Dr. David Adesnik shook his head on Monday’s “Washington Watch,” “and the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. … He’s not necessarily a distinguished religious thinker,” the vice president at the Foundation for Defense of the Democracies warned. “He’s someone who’s made his way by being put in positions of power by his father and managing them relatively well, at least from his father’s perspective. I think you would count him among the hardest of the hardliners in the regime. His choice is an indication that other hardliners in the Revolutionary Guard and outside the Revolutionary Guard are continuing to steer this war in a direction of further confrontation, not one of any compromise.”
He added, “If President Trump wanted there to be a [moderate] who might be interested in a resolution, this is not his man.”
It all raises the question: where is this headed, and what does victory even look like? Adesnik isn’t sure. “I regret to say I have a fair amount of uncertainty. … I think we’ve been hoping to some extent the Iranian people would come out, renew their protests, and overthrow the regime, but of course, that would mean doing it while there’s fighting going on. And it’s not entirely clear. How long will we persist? Would we cut a deal that perhaps ended the war and left Mojtaba Khamenei, the new leader, in power? Or are we really going all the way to the end?”
Trump defined success as an Iran that’s incapable and unwilling to develop nuclear weapons, but he also had strong advice for the country’s oppressed people. “When we are finished, take over your government. It will be yours to take. This will be, probably, your only chance for generations.”
Either way, this administration and its allies are changing the course of history. “Even if the regime hangs on,” Abrams suggests, “its pretense to be the dominant regional power — with a huge ballistic missile array and a nuclear weapons program — will have been shattered. While we cannot predict the date of its collapse,” he goes on, “whether that takes weeks, months, or years, that collapse has been brought closer. The credit belongs to Donald Trump, who has made a bold and risky decision that deserves firm support.”

President Donald Trump warned Iran on Monday against blocking oil shipments in the Strait of Hormuz, a Middle Eastern passage through which a fifth of the world’s petroleum travels.
He said in a social media post that “Death, Fire, and Fury” would “reign upon” assets essential to the country. “If Iran does anything that stops the flow of Oil within the Strait of Hormuz, they will be hit by the United States of America TWENTY TIMES HARDER than they have been hit thus far,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. The National News Desk requested comment from Iran’s foreign ministry but hasn’t received a response. The country’s top national security official, Ali Larijani, said in an X post on Tuesday, though, that the passage “will either be a Strait of peace and prosperity for all or will be a Strait of defeat and suffering for warmongers.”

50 Republican Senators have signed on as co-sponsors of the SAVE America Act. Certainly the vote is close enough to pass the legislation with JD Vance making the 51st vote if they adopt Standing Filibuster.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune has refused to call for a standing filibuster to insure the SAVE America Act comes to closure for vote on the senate floor. Senator Thune said that a standing filibuster will disrupt the business of the Senate. He said that it would eat up valuable time that the Senate needs to approve the DHS budget.
Ironically, Democrats are using the silent filibuster rule to prevent approval of the DHS budget. The US Senate failed by a 51-45 vote to approve the DHS budget for a third time on March 5, 2026. The Democrats want to defund ICE as part of the DHS funding bill. Given the outrageous demands of Democrats it looks like the senate needs to deploy the Standing Filibuster to approve the DHS Budget.
Since Democrat US Senators continue to unanimously oppose passage of the SAVE America Act and funding ICE under the DHS budget and there are no other legislative options then GOP US Senators must adopt the Standing Filibuster rule to pass the legislation.
Some Republican US Senators claim they do not want to adopt the Standing Filibuster because they do not want Democrats to have that power if they gain control of the US Senate. However, Democrats tried to eliminate the silent filibuster in January 2022 and would have succeeded but for opposition by Senators Manchin and Sinema. Many top Democrats have proclaimed numerous times that they plan to abolish the filibuster if they take control of the senate so they can add more states to the union which means more liberal US Senators and add more liberal justices to the supreme court. We cannot stop that from happening in the future but what we can do is take advantage of the GOP holding the house majority, senate majority and white house to pass the SAVE America Act, DHS Budget and other important legislation.
The GOP has passed only ONE conservative bill, the One Big, Beautiful Bill, since Trump took office because the rules required only 51 votes. That’s 13 months of NOTHING ELSE conservative. And there will be another minimum of 10 more months of NOTHING ELSE conservative this year with the silent filibuster governing the rules. That’s TWO YEARS of NOTHING ELSE for conservative laws.
What is more important to protect the sanctity of United States elections from foreign invaders and fraudsters and enact other important conservative legislation or prevent Democrats from advancing their agenda when they’re not even in power? Ironically, allowing Democrats to kill the SAVE America Act via the silent filibuster is empowering their leftist and corrupt ideology.
