Election Forensics Expert Finds Vote Manipulation Concerns in Pennsylvania

By Dr. Richard M. Swier, LTC U.S. Army (Ret.)

LAS VEGAS, NV /PRNewswire/ — A leading expert in election forensics, Dr. Walter Mebane, Jr. of the University of Michigan, has found statistical evidence of vote manipulation in the 2024 U.S. election. His working report analyzing the 2024 Pennsylvania election results corroborates the findings of Election Truth Alliance’s (ETA), a non-partisan nonprofit that recently shared an analysis of election results in three counties in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Mebane states in his Pennsylvania analysis that it is possible that “the election was decided or nearly decided by malevolent distortions of electors’ intentions”. Mebane is recognized internationally as a leading authority on election fraud detection, and his analysis of Pennsylvania employed his independent “eforensics” model.  This model has been validated in professional scientific publications and has been used to evaluate the integrity of elections in countries such as VenezuelaTurkey, and Kenya.

Mebane’s analysis examines 7,040,360 votes across 67 Pennsylvania counties. The eforensics model estimates that between 25,000 and 225,440 votes in the Presidential race were possibly fraudulent. The range is due to Dr. Mebane applying several different forensic models in completing his evaluation.

The ETA recently conducted an independent analysis of election results from three Pennsylvania counties: Philadelphia CountyAllegheny County (which contains Pittsburgh), and Erie County. Their analysis identifiedpatterns consistent with vote manipulation in all three counties, particularly in election day voting result data.

Working with Pennsylvania residents, the ETA has submitted ballot inspection requests in several counties across the state. The organization has also requested a meeting with the Pennsylvania Secretary of the Commonwealth, Al Schmidt, in their continued pursuit of a hand audits of paper voting records from the 2024 U.S. General election.

“Statistics, no matter how accurate, cannot provide definitive proof of voting fraud or election manipulation,” said Nathan Taylor, Executive Director of the ETA.  “Actual proof can only be found by comparing paper ballot audits to electronic voting records. However, statistical information from eforensics and other data analysis approaches can, and should, be used to identify precincts and counties where election fraud is most likely to have occurred.”

The Election Truth Alliance is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that supports election analysis, informed discussion, and peaceful action to identify and highlight potential election manipulation, interference, and irregularities.

Political Violence Grips Nation as Progressives Push against Trump Agenda

By Family Research Council

Reactions to President Donald Trump’s deportation program have been violent, starting with riots in California and now expanding to reportedly include the assassination of an elected official in Minnesota. Here’s the latest on the protests, riots, violence, and unrest spreading across the country.

Anarchy in the U.S.

On June 6, Los Angeles erupted in riots, with activists violently targeting federal agents conducting immigration raids in the city. The surge of looting, arson, and assaults on federal and local law enforcement officers prompted Trump to federalize the California National Guard and deploy U.S. Marines to maintain peace. While the most violent of confrontations have largely subsided, L.A.-based civil rights attorney Jesus Arias led a group of hundreds of protestors against Marines on Sunday, urging the uniformed men to leave the city. Protestors chanted, “Marines go home!” and “Shame! Shame!” among other, more insulting phrases.

Golden State Governor Gavin Newsom (D) and L.A. Mayor Karen Bass (D) have both been critical of the president’s decision to deploy military troops to quell the mayhem that has engulfed the city for over a week, instead faulting Trump himself for the violence. In fact, the same day that protestors confronted Marines, Bass claimed that there are no Marines in the city. “I have to say that yesterday I spent time in the helicopter, so I went all over the city in search of these Marines. And I’m sorry, but I just didn’t see them,” the mayor said in a CNN interview. She added, “We don’t want them here. They don’t need to be here. Our local law enforcement [has] complete control of this situation.”

After days of rioters waving foreign flags, vandalizing property, dropping cinder blocks and concrete slabs on police vehicles, and launching fireworks and Molotov cocktails at law enforcement, Bass described Saturday’s “protests” as “overwhelmingly peaceful.” However, the “protests” in question included vandalism across much of downtown L.A. and a violent confrontation outside a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center.

Newsom and Bass have both been castigated for their failure to respond to the rioting. Actor and director Mel Gibson, a conservative Catholic and one of Trump’s ambassadors to Hollywood, blasted the Democratic duo in a podcast appearance Sunday. “Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass have already proven their incompetence and poor leadership during the Los Angeles wildfires,” said Gibson, whose home was burned down in the catastrophic conflagration earlier this year. He continued, “Now, as we experience rampant lawlessness and civil unrest, it’s never been more clear. They’re unable to respond effectively and responsibly during calamity. Whether it’s sheer incompetence or outright malevolence, the reality is stark: California’s in a state of turmoil.”

The director of “The Passion of the Christ” called on his fellow Los Angeles residents to vote the Democrats out of power. “Why are Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass still in office? How much more of their destructive decision-making masquerading as leadership are we going to tolerate?” he asked. Gibson asserted, “It’s time to take back our community and our state and put the power and the privilege in the hands of competent leaders whose goals are to protect us and the way of life this nation was founded upon and promises to offer.”

Congressional Republicans are also asking why Newsom and Bass have failed to respond to so many serious crises. On Friday, the House Oversight Committee launched an investigation into Newsom’s and Bass’s management of the violent riots. “The rioters in Los Angeles committed vicious acts of violence and fearmongering directed at law enforcement and others. They set fire to vehicles and property around the city and assaulted officers with deadly weapons such as rocks and Molotov cocktails,” wrote Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) and Federal Law Enforcement Subcommittee Chairman Clay Higgins (R-La.) in a letter to Newsom.

“In response to this violence … President Donald Trump deployed the National Guard. Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and yourself protested President Trump’s action to quell the violence caused by the rioters in Los Angeles, even resorting to falsely blaming him for the actions of violent rioters,” the congressmen wrote. They continued, “You champion California’s sanctuary policies, which prevent local law enforcement’s cooperation with federal immigration authorities. You have also made it clear that you intend to block the objectives of the federal government, and defend aliens, regardless of their immigration status, criminal activity, anti-American views, or incitement to riot.”

But Los Angeles is not the only city that has been wracked with riots. The Washington Stand previously reported that anti-deportation protests in other cities — including Chicago, New York, Omaha, Seattle, and Spokane — quickly devolved into riots. Over the weekend, police in Portland arrested multiple rioters. According to press releases, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) made at least three arrests Saturday night in connection with protests and riots outside an ICE detention facility and several more arrests Sunday night at the same location.

Rioters vandalized the ICE facility and assaulted federal agents, including throwing rocks at windows and the agents themselves. While the district attorney emphasized that charges may still be brought against others present at the riots who were not arrested over the weekend, the PPB emphasized Portland’s “sanctuary” status and reminded the public that PBP officers do not cooperate in immigration enforcement. Police were also busy in Austin, Texas, arresting eight people during a violent confrontation between rioters and ICE agents.

Was ‘No Kings’ a No-Show?

Shortly after riots broke out in Los Angeles, progressive activists announced a series of protests scheduled for Trump’s birthday, June 14. Entitled “No Kings,” the rallies were ostensibly hosted in opposition to the president’s agenda, including deportations. Mainstream media outlets have suggested that up to five million protestors attended the events across the nation, but others disputed these claims over social media, citing their own experiences attending or watching the protests.

One U.S. military veteran who visited two different “No Kings” rallies reported that the median age of protestors was around 70 years old, with women over the age of 50 making up the vast majority of attendees. In the video he attached showing one of the rallies, multiple protestors can be seen in wheelchairs or electric mobility scooters. Other social media users disputed claims that “thousands” of protestors attended the events, saying that the rallies were really attended by “several hundred not exceeding a thousand,” made up of “80% White retired age females.” The National Conservative account agreed that every “No Kings” rally “outside of California appears to be 95% White and completely dominated by women aged 55-75,” while another social media user reported that there was “not a soul under 45 at our local ‘no kings’ protest. Multiple people in walkers.” Blaze News reports have also asserted that the majority of “No Kings” rallygoers were “predominantly middle-aged” and “white.”

While Mel Gibson went to bat against Newsom and Bass, his Hollywood colleagues showed up to support the “No Kings” events. Susan Sarandon and Mark Ruffalo were both seen at the New York City rally. Self-styled comedian Jimmy Kimmel and actors Marisa Tomei, Kerry Washington, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Leah Thompson, Jon Cryer, and singers Moby and Gracie Abrams showed up at other events across the country, according to Deadline. Other Hollywood elites, like actress Glenn Close and television personality Kathy Griffin, wrote social media posts in support of the rallies.

While many of the “No Kings” rallies were largely uneventful, a few did escalate into violence. According to the New York Post, multiple arrests were made in New York City, and violence erupted at “No Kings” rallies in areas like Atlanta. One rallygoer was fatally shot in Salt Lake City, Utah. Security guards at the event accidentally shot and killed 39-year-old Arthur Folasa Ah Loo when another individual, carrying a rifle, ran towards the rally. The rifleman, later identified as 24-year-old Arturo Gamboa, was subdued and arrested. The Texas State Capitol building in Austin was evacuated Saturday after the red state’s Department of Public Safety (DPS) identified a “credible threat” against state legislators. Texas DPS later confirmed that it had arrested an unnamed individual in connection with the threat, but no further information was provided.

Murder in Minnesota

Up north, threats against lawmakers tragically turned deadly. Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman, a member of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) party, and her husband were shot dead at their home Saturday in what Governor Tim Walz (D) called a “politically motivated assassination.” Less than 24 hours after Hortman cast the deciding vote in the state legislature backing a provision denying state-funded health care to illegal immigrants, 57-year-old Vance Luther Boelter allegedly showed up at her front door wearing a face mask and impersonating a police officer. He shot and killed both Hortman and her husband. State Senator John Hoffman (DFL) and his wife were also shot but survived. Boelter was located and arrested late Sunday evening.

Controversy surrounds the motivation behind Boelter’s shootings. Mainstream media outlets have noted that Boelter is reportedly an evangelical Christian who has spoken out against both abortion and LGBT activism, while Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehensions Commissioner Drew Evans said Saturday, “It would be premature for me at this point to really say exactly what the motivation might be,” based on texts Boelter sent and an alleged “manifesto” he left in one of his cars. Minnesota Democrats have claimed that they themselves were on a hit list.

Other Democrats across the country have shifted the blame to Trump, arguing that the president’s rhetoric has inspired violence. Senator Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) claimed that Trump’s rhetoric “encourages” political violence and Senator Alex Padilla (D-Calif.), who was recently detained for rushing at Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem during a press conference, said, “I think it’s more than appropriate to step back and say, ‘Why are tensions so high?’” He continued, “I can’t help but point to the beginning of not just the first Trump term, but the beginning of the campaign, the tone with which the president had launched his first campaign for president, served throughout his first term, and continues in this term.” Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) blamed “MAGA’s legitimization of political violence” for the assassinations. Perhaps referring to the multiple assassination attempts against Trump in 2024, he added over social media, “Yes, Republicans have also been the target of inexcusable violence, but this isn’t a ‘both sides’ issue.” In statements following Boelter’s arrest, Walz explicitly compared the assassinations to “mean tweets” and “demeaning someone.”

However, others have contradicted the narrative that Boelter is a violent, right-wing extremist. One report observed that Boelter was appointed to a state Workforce Development Board by Democrat and then-Governor Mark Dayton in 2016 and reappointed to the board by Walz in 2019. According to Minnesota state police, there was a stack of “No Kings” rally fliers in the car Boelter parked outside Hortman’s house. The police urged the public to avoid the progressive-run rallies amid concerns of political violence.

As of the time of writing, police have not yet publicly released any of Boelter’s writings but have suggested that he may not have been acting alone.

An Untold Story of Battlefield Faith: The Birth of the American Army

By Family Research Council

Over the weekend, President Trump celebrated his birthday, which coincided with the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army, with a “Big Beautiful” Military Parade in Washington, D.C. The White House also released another video in their “The Story of America” series to commemorate the anniversary. Produced by Hillsdale College and hosted by Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, they recounted the vote by Congress on June 14, 1775, the appointment of General George Washington as commander in chief, and some of the early battles.

Other than the blessings invoked at the end, God was not a part of this version of our history. Yet a closer look reveals that God was very much a part of the birth of the American army.

Faith Undergirds a Growing Army

In the late spring of 1775, the Massachusetts countryside was alive with a martial spirit. Following British-initiated bloodshed at Lexington and Concord on April 19, the patriot militia harassed the defeated red-coated regulars all the way back to their base in occupied Boston. During their retreat, Dr. Joseph Warren, who had dispatched Paul Revere, William Dawes, and Dr. Samuel Prescott to warn fellow patriot leaders John Hancock and Samuel Adams that the “British are coming,” joined the action at West Cambridge and narrowly escaped death when a British musket ball grazed the side of his head, knocking out a hairpin.[i]

The next day, General Artemas Ward arrived from Shrewsbury and took charge of the Massachusetts militia.[ii] The 47-year-old veteran of the French and Indian War (aka Seven Years War) was described as a “God-fearing man, strongly believing in and living up to the religion he professed,” as well as “somewhat slow in speech and with a biblical turn to his conversation… fully convinced that the Massachusetts Bay Colony was the land most approved by Providence, and that those of Massachusetts were the Chosen People.”[iii] Yet soon General Ward would find himself leading militia companies from other New England colonies, who were streaming into Cambridge, Medford, and Roxbury, encircling occupied Boston.

Among them, Peter Brown wrote his mother back in Rhode Island about God changing his summer plans:

“I had plan’d out to go to Connecticut where I expected to work the Summer; but the Allwise in his providence hath very differently plann’d my summers work, which I hope may turn to his Glory and my good… I was at Westford… call’d about Day-light, or a little after, and rode as post that forenoon, before I could get to Concord, after which I pursu’d with the rest and fought that day, tarried at Cambridge that Night… I did not know what I could do better than to en-list.”[iv]

Again, the air was filled with more than military tension ?” it throbbed with spiritual intensity. Even as troops from Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island gathered in makeshift camps, resolved to fight against British tyranny, many turned to prayer and the Scriptures with the support of their pastors and chaplains who had marched with them.

Amos Farnsworth, a young soldier from Groton, Massachusetts, recorded in his diary the deeply religious rhythm of camp life. On Sunday, April 23, he recorded: “lay Stil in the fore noon in the Afternoon the Regiment to the meeting hous And herd a fine Sermon from Timothy 2[:]3 [?”] thou therefore Endure Hardness as a good Solder of jesus Christ.”[v] On April 25, he wrote: “in the afternoon we went up to the Genarals And Receved ordars and marched to Cambridge Agiin. oh the goodness of God in Preserving my life from Danger.”[vi] On the last day of the month, Sunday April 30, he recorded: “Retired alone in the morning for Secret Prayer. Preaded the Sun half a Nour hie for Prayers And then About Ten oclock went to a Barn And herd the Rev Mr Emerson from the first Book of Samuel 30[:]6 [?”] and Daved was gratly Distressed &c.”[vii] Rev. William Emerson was the bold Concord pastor, who raised the town militia, mustered with them when the alarm rang out on April 19, stood with them in the famed engagement at the Old North Bridge, and then marched with his parishioners to Cambridge.

Corporal Farnsworth continues: “And in the afternoon herd the Re* Mr Goodridge From those words in judges 20 C 22 & 23 Verses more Porticuly the last Claus in the 23 Varse And the Lord Said go Up Against him. An Exelent Sermon he incoridged us to go And fite for our Land And Con try : Saying we Did not do our Duty if we did not Stand up now.”[viii] These were not perfunctory pieties. These prayers and sermons were biblical bricks fortifying these men for battle, and for some, the ultimate sacrifice for liberty.

On May 2, Dr. Warren was elected president of the Massachusetts Provincial Congress, taking over for John Hancock, who would travel to Philadelphia along with Samuel and John Adams and others as delegates to the Second Continental Congress. Like Hancock the year prior, Warren was chosen to deliver the annual Oration commemorating the Boston Massacre to a standing room crowd at the Old South Church back on March 6, dramatically entering through a window, wearing a Roman senatorial toga, reprising his college portrayal of brave Cato, declaring:

“Our streets are again filled with armed men; our harbour is crowded with ships of war; but these cannot intimidate us; our liberty must be preserved; it is far dearer than life, we hold it even dear as our allegiance; we must defend it against the attacks of friends as well as enemies… The man who meanly will submit to wear a shackle, contemns the noblest gift of heaven, and impiously affronts the God that made him free.”

The next day, May 3, Warren requested that his current pastor, the Rev. Dr. Samuel Cooper of Brattle Street Church in Boston, serve as Chaplain to the Provincial Congress.[ix] Dr. Cooper agreed to serve. Cooper and Warren were kindred spirits, with the former having been accused by Loyalist Peter Oliver as a member of the “dissenting Clergy, who took so active part in the Rebellion.” Indeed, Oliver labeled Cooper one of the “Black Regiment,” a nod to his black clerical robes, but no less deadly as a patriot militiaman armed with a musket.[x] Indeed, the ministers were more dangerous by means of their sermons because they were mass recruiters of their congregants, force-multipliers for the sacred cause of liberty.

General Artemas Ward Assumes Command

The Second Continental Congress convened on May 10, 1775, in Philadelphia at the State House, which is now referred to as Independence Hall. On that same day, Colonel Benedict Arnold, sanctioned by the Massachusetts Provincial Congress, joined forces with Colonel Ethan Allen and his “Green Mountain Boys” with the objective of taking the British stronghold of Fort Ticonderoga in New York, confiscating the arsenal and artillery pieces. Allen famously seized the fort “in the name of the great Jehovah and the continental Congress.”[xi]

Under Dr. Warren’s predecessor, the Provincial Congress had set May 11 as a “Day of Humiliation, Fasting and Prayer.” In fact, Warren had written Samuel Adams previously: “I think religion and policy require that a day be set apart for publicly addressing the King of kings.”[xii] On the Fast Day, Corporal Farnsworth records that he heard Rev. Amos Adams of Roxbury, Joseph Warren’s former pastor, preach from Psalm 50:15 ?” “Call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me”[xiii] On May 14, he listened to Rev. Mr. Noble preach from Isaiah 59:1: “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save.” Farnsworth jotted in his journal, “O the Goodness of God in Promoting me the Liberty of Prayer and to hear Preaching.”[xiv] On May 21, a Sunday, he wrote: “Etended Prayers on the Common in the morning… herd the Revent Docter Langdon from Hebrews 2:10… he incorridge us to Enlist our Selves under the Great Jeneral of our Salvation.” Dr. Samuel Langdon, the president of Harvard College and a former New Hampshire pastor, preached frequently to the troops.[xv]

On May 25, British military Governor Gage welcomed reinforcements to Boston as well as three new generals: William Howe, John Burgoyne, and Henry Clinton. Also on May 25, the Massachusetts Provincial Congress accepted a committee recommendation on providing chaplains for the army:

Whereas, it is necessary that chaplains should be appointed in the Massachusetts army, under the command of the Hon. Artemas Ward, Esq…. and, whereas, it has been represented to this Congress, that several ministers of the religious assemblies, within this colony, have expressed their willingness to attend the army aforesaid, in the capacity of chaplains, as they may be directed by this Congress; therefore, Resolved, that it be, and it is hereby recommended, to the ministers of the several religious assemblies within this colony, that, with the leave of their several congregations, they attend said army in their several towns, to the number of thirteen at one time, during the time the army shall be encamped…”[xvi]

Thus, the Massachusetts Provincial Congress set an example, along with other colonies, for the Second Continental Congress to do the same on June 29, 1775. Then the Provincial Congress further: “Resolved, unanimously, that the president [Warren] be desired to deliver to Gen. Ward, the commission prepared for him by this Congress, as general and commander in chief of the Massachusetts forces.”[xvii]

As the newly minted commander in chief, General Artemas Ward had his hands full. While the militia forces that bottled up the British in Boston fluctuated between 12-20,000, they were a loose confederation lacking a regimented command structure. Assuming military action would be over quickly, most militia companies came unprepared and ill-equipped for a long campaign. Consequently, they came and went at the whim of their company officers. Though some of the older soldiers had seen action in the French and Indian War, most had never seen combat, having only drilled with their town companies and used their muskets to shoot wild game. In addition to their general lack of battlefield experience, they lacked sufficient quantities of the basic material of war: gunpowder, musket balls, and artillery pieces. Yet they believed that the Lord of Hosts was on their side, and that would make all the difference.

Joining the cautious General Ward in the war council was the aggressive Connecticut General Israel Putnam, another veteran of the French and Indian War. Indeed, he was a member of the famed Roger’s Rangers, a special warfare unit recruited and commanded by Captain Robert Rogers of New Hampshire, which specialized in long-range reconnaissance and covert operations. Roger’s Rangers were the predecessors of today’s Army Rangers. During his eventful service, Putnam had been badly burned while heroically putting out a fire in 1757, captured by Kahnawake Indians in 1758 but escaped their plan to burn him alive by ritual execution through a providential rainstorm, survived shipwreck in Cuba in 1762, as well as enduring other close calls in battle.

When Putnam returned from war to his homestead in 1765, his wife died, the mother of their 10 children, leaving behind a son in infancy. Yet in his grief, he turned to the Lord for comfort and hope, publicly professing faith in Christ and joining the Congregational Church in Brooklyn under the ministry of Rev. Dr. Josiah Whitney.[xviii]

Having come out of retirement and joining the militia companies around Boston, Putnam’s battle-scarred reputation as a fearless wolf hunter and grizzled war fighter was the topic of tall tales. His men apparently lionized him, as an acrostic in the newspapers of the day shows:

Pure mass of courage, every soldier’s wonder,
Unto the Field he steps, enrobed with martial Thunder,
Tares up the elements, and rends the Earth asunder,
Nature designed him for the Field of Battle,
Unused to Statesmen’s wiles or courtier’s prattle,
Mars-like, his chief Delights, where thundering cannon rattle.”[xix]

In fact, “Old Put” was celebrated throughout Connecticut and other colonies, who described the conflict in biblical terms: “the British were the Philistines and Putnam, the American Samson, a chosen instrument to defeat the foe.”[xx]

Success in the First Naval Engagement of the War

Stuck in the middle between Ward and Putnam who were polar opposites, Dr. Warren once remarked to Putnam, “I admire your spirit, and respect General Ward’s prudence. We shall need them both, and one must temper the other.”[xxi] Nevertheless, Putnam convinced Warren, Ward, and the council to go on the offensive and conduct a covert operation on the night of May 26 to deprive the British of access to the free ranging livestock and fodder on Noddles and Hog Islands. Spearheaded by former-fellow Ranger, Captain John Stark, and his 1st New Hampshire regiment of 300 men along with Massachusetts Colonel John Nixon and his nearly 300, the overnight maneuver was successful in driving the cattle, sheep and horses across patriot lines and setting fire to the haystacks and barns.[xxii]

However, by mid-morning the next day, the British had discovered the patriot mischief, and Vice-Admiral Samuel Graves dispatched the HMS Diana, other gunships, as well as the Royal Marines, who engaged patriot forces. In response to the call for reinforcements, General Ward dispatched General Putnam and 1,000 men from Cambridge, one of whom was Dr. Warren.[xxiii] The combined forces were able to frustrate the British advance as well as destroy the Diana in the first Naval engagement in the War for Independence.

Another member of the operation under Colonel Nixon’s command was none other than Corporal Farnsworth, who records:

“Before we got from Noddels island to hog island we was fird upon by a Privatear Schooner But we Crost the river and about fiften of us Squated Down in a Ditch on the mash and Stood our ground. And thare Came A Company of Regulars on the marsh on the other side of the river And the Schooner: And we had A hot fiar untill the Regulars retreeted. But notwithstanding the Bulets fiue very thitch yet thare was not A Man of us kild Suerly God has A faver towards us : And He can Save in one Place as well as Another… At night Marchd, to Winnisimit ferry whare thare was A Schooner and Sloop Afiring with grate fury on us thare But thanks be unto god that gave vs the Victry [1 Cor. 15:57] at this time for throu his Providence the Schooner that Plad upon us the day before run Aground and we Sot fiar to hur And Consumed hur thare And the Sloop receved much dammage. in this ingngment we had not A man kild : But fore wounded but we hope all will Recover, one of the fore was A tounsing [Townsend] man belonging to our Company the bulet went throu his mouth from one Cheek to the other, thanks be unto God that so little hurt was Done us when the Bauls Sung like Bees Round our heds.”[xxiv]

Again, Farnsworth saw what happened through a providential perspective, giving credit to God. While British forces suffered significant casualties, the Pennsylvania Journal report is filtered through a biblical lens:

“Our killed none! Wounded three! Heaven apparently, and most evidently, fights for us [Deut. 20:4], covers our heads in the day of battle [Ps. 140:7], and shields our people from the assaults of our common enemies [Ps. 3:3]. What thanks can speak our gratitude! These interpositions, and our determined resolutions, may perhaps make our haughty enemies… leave us peaceably to enjoy those rights and liberties which God in our nature has given us, as our inalienable right, and which they are most unjustly endeavoring to wrest from us by violence.”[xxv]

‘I Shall Rely on Providence’: Washington Appointed Commander in Chief

Meanwhile in Philadelphia, President John Hancock presided over Congress and on Wednesday, June 14, they voted to establish a Continental Army:

Resolved, That six companies of expert rifflemen, be immediately raised in Pensylvania, two in Maryland, and two in Virginia; that each company consist of a captain, three lieutenants, four serjeants, four corporals, a drum-mer or trumpeter, and sixty-eight privates. That each company, as soon as compleated, shall march and join the army near Boston, to be there employed as light infantry, under the command of the chief Officer in that army…

“That the form of the enlistment be in the following words: I ____________have, this day, voluntarily enlisted myself, as a soldier, in the American continental army, for one year, unless sooner discharged: And I do bind myself to conform, in all instances, to such rules and regulations, as are, or shall be, established for the government of the [aforesaid] Army.”[xxvi]

Furthermore, Congress appointed George Washington, Philip Schuyler, Silas Deane, Thomas Cushing, and Joseph Hewes as a committee to bring in a draft of “Rules and regulations for the government of the army.”[xxvii]

On Thursday, June 15, Congress took up the matter of choosing the commander in chief of the newly formed American Continental Army: “Resolved, That a General be appointed to command all the continental forces, raised, or to be raised, for the defence of American liberty… The Congress then proceeded to the choice of a general, by ballot, when George Washington, Esq. was unanimously elected.”[xxviii] On Friday, June 16, President Hancock informed Washington: “that the Congress had by a unanimous vote made choice of him to be general and com[mander] in chief to take the supreme command of the forces raised and to be raised, in defence of American Liberty, and desired his acceptance of it.” Dressed in his uniform, Washington stood and addressed the Congress with an attitude of humility, admitting “with the utmost sincerity, I do not think myself equal to the Command I am honored with.” Yet he pledged: “I will enter upon the momentous duty, and exert every power I possess in their service, and for support of the glorious cause.”[xxix]

Washington then declined the pay offered, only asking to be reimbursed for his expenses. In reflection on this momentous event, he wrote his wife Martha, beginning with words with which every servicemember can sympathize:

“My Dearest, I am now set down to write to you on a subject, which fills me with inexpressible concern, and this concern is greatly aggravated and increased, when I reflect upon the uneasiness I know it will give you. It has been determined in Congress, that the whole army raised for the defence of the American cause shall be put under my care, and that it is necessary for me to proceed immediately to Boston to take upon me the command of it… I assure you, in the most solemn manner that, so far from seeking this appointment, I have used every endeavor in my power to avoid it, not only from my unwillingness to part with you and the family, but from a consciousness of its being a trust too great for my capacity…”[xxx]

Having expressed his reluctance to be away from his wife and family in the service to his country, Washington then zooms out to consider the bigger picture, trusting in the providence of Almighty God:

“But as it has been a kind of destiny, that has thrown me upon this service, I shall hope that my undertaking it is designed to answer some good purpose… I shall rely, therefore, confidently on that Providence, which has heretofore preserved and been bountiful to me, not doubting but that I shall return safe to you…”[xxxi]

Indeed, his confidence in God was not misplaced. After eight years of war that included several close calls, God indeed returned him safely home. Yet first, Washington must undertake the monumental task.

General Washington arrived in Cambridge, Massachusetts on Friday, July 2. Corporal Farnsworth wrote with gratitude to God: “Felt Lively to Day in Sperital things : Blesed he god for such A Ceson.”[xxxii] On Saturday, July 3, Washington proceeded to take command of the army. He was discouraged by what he found, such as the general lack of command structure, lack of discipline, lack of proper barracks and equipment, as well as a lack of camp and personal cleanliness.[xxxiii] There was much work to do in order to forge these loosely confederated militia companies from towns all over New England into a disciplined army.

Yet the one thing that had to encourage Washington was their mutual faith in God, a faith that he not only shared, but also reinforced by his example and through his orders. In fact, on Sunday, July 4, his general orders stated:

“The General most earnestly requires, and expects, a due observance of those articles of war, established for the Government of the army, which forbid profane cursing, swearing and drunkeness; And in like manner requires and expects, of all Officers, and Soldiers, not engaged on actual duty, a punctual attendance on divine Service, to implore the blessings of heaven upon the means used for our safety and defence.”[xxxiv]

Washington continued to foster the deeply religious rhythm already observed by many of his men. Not surprisingly, Corporal Farnsworth journaled about his “attendance on divine Service” that Sunday: “Etended Publect worship And in ye forenoon herd ye Re? Mr Whitcome from Isaiah: furst Chapter: from ye twenty first verse to ye end of ye 24 verse. And in ye afternoon herd ye Rev Mr [David] Avery: from Stockbridge: who Spoke Exelenty from Job 35…”[xxxv]

The point of Washington’s general orders, as well as succeeding ones throughout the war, is that he intended that the Continental Army not simply put their trust in “chariots or horses” alone but place their trust firmly in “the name of the Lord our God” (Ps. 20:7). To prevail in their struggle against the greatest military power in the world, they unashamedly looked to God as their only hope. Now, 250 years later, America would do well to follow in their footsteps of faith.

EXCLUSIVE: How Chinese Intel Infiltrated LA Mayor Karen Bass’ Camp

By The Daily Caller

An official in Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass’ administration is the son of a Chinatown powerbroker and Democratic donor who has praised the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and works with foreign intelligence agencies, a Daily Caller News Foundation investigation discovered.

Adam Ma has held multiple positions in Bass’ office, his LinkedIn profile states, and now serves as both the city’s liaison for Asian-Americans and director of commission appointments, according to the Los Angeles government website. His father, who raised tens of thousands of dollars for Bass’ mayoral campaign, previously lauded the Communist Party for creating a “strong China” and is listed as an official by multiple arms of a Chinese government influence and intelligence service called the United Front Work Department (UFWD).

“If China didn’t have the CCP, there’d be no strong China today, overseas Chinese compatriots send the highest praise and admiration to the CCP,” Adam Ma’s fatherMa Shurong, said in July 2021 to commemorate the Party’s 100th anniversary, according to a DCNF translation of a Chinese government announcement.

“The Communist Party’s UFWD has, in fact, penetrated Karen Bass’s office,” Gordon Chang, China expert and author of “Plan Red: China’s Project To Destroy America,” told the DCNF. “There is a high probability that, wittingly or unwittingly, she is implementing Chinese Communist plans to take down our country. She may be a loyal American, but she has almost certainly become a danger to America.”

Bass, Adam Ma and Ma Shurong did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

Bass has risen to national prominence as a central figure in the Democratic Party’s resistance to President Donald Trump’s deportation policies as Los Angeles struggles to grapple with a series of riots opposing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids that began in the city on June 6.

Although the Trump administration’s “targeted enforcement operations” in Los Angeles have apprehended illegal aliens previously convicted of homicide, drug trafficking and lewd acts with a minor, Bass called for ICE to “stop the raids” during a June 9 press conference, saying she felt her city was “part of an experiment that we did not ask to be a part of.”

‘Overseas United Front’

Ma Shurong, whose English name is Derek Ma, has extensive ties to high-ranking CCP leaders and has served as an official within multiple UFWD agencies, according to Chinese government reports.

The UFWD’s operations are a “unique blend of engagement, influence activities, and intelligence operations that the [CCP] uses to shape its political environment, including to influence other countries’ policy toward the [People’s Republic of China] and to gain access to advanced foreign technology,” according to the House Select Committee on the CCP.

Among other positions, Ma Shurong is listed as an “overseas committee member” by the All-China Federation Of Returned Overseas Chinese (ACFROC), which is a UFWD agency, according to the Department of Justice. Ma Shurong was one of 20 ACFROC officials who delivered speeches alongside that agency’s chief, Wan Lijun, during the group’s August 2018 conference within Beijing’s Great Hall of the People, according to the UFWD agency.

Over the last 10 years, Ma Shurong has met with leaders from at least 10 regional ACFROC branches including officials from AnjiFoshanJiangmenKaipingShantouTaishanWuyiYunfuGuangzhou and Guangdong, during which he repeatedly promised to strengthen cooperation with ACFROC, a DCNF translation of Chinese government documents found.

In addition to his ACFROC positions, Ma Shurong is also listed as a “director” by the China Overseas Friendship Association (COFA), which is “an important platform through which the UFWD co-opts and interacts with overseas United Front figures,” according to the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission (USCC), a legislative branch commission created by Congress to monitor and investigate the national security implications of the relationships between the U.S. and China.

Ma Shurong has attended COFA conferences in China as well, including in 2019, with Chinese state media footage showing him smiling as General Secretary Xi Jinping greeted the UFWD agency’s top operatives. Four years prior, Ma Shurong was also among a group of select overseas Chinese leaders invited to meet with Xi Jinping when he visited Seattle in September 2015. Ma Shurong clapped for the dictator during his speech, Chinese state media footage shows.

Other UFWD arms have also identified Ma Shurong as a director, including the related China Overseas Exchange Association (COEA), which was an organization operating under the UFWD in its final years until it was subsumed by COFA in 2019, according to the Chinese government. As with ACFROC and COFA, Ma Shurong also attended COEA conferences in China, including one September 2017 meeting in Beijing, Chinese state media footage shows.

‘CCP Influence Campaigns’

Adam Ma and his parents, Ma Shurong and Daisy Ma, all supported Bass’ 2022 mayoral campaign through fundraising and other activities, according to Chinese language news reports.

Ma Shurong and Adam Ma held a press conference endorsing Bass’ mayoral campaign in Los Angeles at the Golden Dragon Restaurant on Sept. 10, 2022, Chinese language news outlet ChineseNewsUSA.com reported. Daisy Ma also attended.

Several Chinese American lawmakers, including California Democratic Rep. Judy Chu, endorsed Bass during the event, footage shows. One photo from the event that Bass posted to X shows her standing beside Ma Shurong, Daisy Ma and other supporters.

The next month, Ma Shurong held a fundraiser for Bass at the Golden Dragon Restaurant on Oct. 13, 2022, which netted over $40,000 for her campaign, Chinese language news outlet Huarenone.com reported. Adam Ma and his mother both donated $1,000 to Bass around this time, according to records on the California Secretary of State’s website.

After Bass won the mayoral election, Ma Shurong and his wife attended her inauguration on Dec. 12, 2022, according to a Huarenone.com report. Bass was photographed at the event with both Ma Shurong and his wife, images accompanying the article show.

“From the start we decided to support her and feel happy that she will become the new mayor of Los Angeles,” Ma Shurong told reporters, before adding that he was also happy his son would be joining her team, according to a DCNF translation of the report.

Daisy Ma did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

Adam Ma joined Bass’ team in December 2022 as a director of both her transition office and commission appointments, according to his LinkedIn profile. The next month, Bass served as the grand marshal during the Los Angeles Chinese Lunar New Year parade in January 2023, ABC News reported. During the parade, Adam Ma rode with the mayor in the city‘s vehicle, photos Bass included in an X post reveal.

Ma Shurong also participated in the parade, footage from the event shows, and was photographed by Sing Tao in a group photo with Bass, Chu and a former Los Angeles Police Department reserve commander named Chester Chong, who has also held multiple positions within UFWD arms like COFA and COEA, the DCNF previously reported.

As a representative for Bass, Adam Ma also attended another Chinese Lunar New Year banquet in Los Angeles in February 2023 held by the Chinese American Unity Alliance, according to ChineseNewsUSA.com. The Chinese American Unity Alliance is a nonprofit that is run by Ma Shurong and his wife, according to business records filed with the California Secretary of State.

Two officials from the Los Angeles Chinese Consulate also attended that banquet, including An Mingshuan, according to ChineseNewsUSA.com, whom the UFWD identifies as its consul. On behalf of Bass, Adam Ma presented his father and the nonprofit with a framed congratulatory award during the banquet, according to the ChineseNewsUSA.com report and accompanying photos.

Several months later, Adam Ma began working as Bass’ liaison for Asian Americans and the “LGBTQIA+” community in May 2023, his LinkedIn profile states. Adam Ma again rode with the mayor in the city’s vehicle during the June 2024 Los Angeles gay pride parade, footage Bass posted to X shows.

Adam Ma remains active in the Los Angeles mayor’s office and was recently photographed with Bass and others commemorating “Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month” on May 2, 2025.

The City of Los Angeles paid Adam Ma $129,534.10 in 2024, according to the California State Controller’s Office.

“CCP influence campaigns target local elected officials just like our national leaders,” New York Times bestselling author of “Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win,” Peter Schweizer, told the DCNF. “In many ways they can be even more effective there. Mayor Bass needs to come clean about her ties to these funders.”

Hussein Yazdanpana The Kurdish Leader Calls For The Toppling Of The Islamic Republic Of Iran: ‘We Firmly Support Israel’s Operation Rising Lion Against The Islamic Republic’

By Middle East Media Research Institute

Iran | Special Dispatch No. 12023

Gen. Hussein Yazdanpana is the leader of the Parti Azadi Kurdistan (“Kurdistan Freedom Party,” PAK), one of the major militant groups from Eastern Kurdistan (Rojhelat, the Kurdistan region under Iran’s rule).[1]

As soon as Israel’s pre-emptive strike against Iran started, known as Operation Rising Lion, Gen. Hussein Yazdanpana called on the youth of Kurdistan, both inside and outside Iran, to attack the Islamic Republic of Iran.

(See MEMRI Clip N. 12073, Hussein Yazdanpanah, Leader of Youth to Attack Iranian Regime Targets, Avenge “Kurdistan’s Martyrs,” June 15, 2025)

Following are some of Gen. Hussein Yazdanpana’s tweets from June 13, 2025:[2]

Yazdanpana: The Time For Uprising And Overthrow Of The Regime Has Come

Yazdanpana tweeted: “[Israel’s Operation Rising Lion] has ushered in a historic moment. Tehran, confronted by a vastly superior power, stands disgraced and politically exposed.”

He wrote: “We firmly support Israel’s Operation Rising Lion against the Islamic Republic. The destruction of Iran’s military infrastructure and war machine will pave the way for the liberation of the people and bring an end to the regime’s aggressive and terrorist activities in the region and across the world.”

“Iran’s military infrastructure will never be rebuilt. The regime’s repressive forces have collapsed. The time has come to seize military bases and government centers, ” he tweeted.

“[The Iranian Supreme Leader Ali] Khamenei is lying! Residential areas have not been attacked [by Israel]. What has been attacked are military sites and the hideouts of the commanders of the terrorist IRGC,” he said.

“It is time for the armed groups to turn their weapons against the criminal commanders [of the IRGC],” he wrote.

He tweeted: “The time for uprising and overthrow of the regime has come. The regime’s machine of repression has been completely broken.”

USAID Official and Three Corporate Executives Plead Guilty $550 Million in Fraud, Bribery Using DEI thumbnail

USAID Official and Three Corporate Executives Plead Guilty $550 Million in Fraud, Bribery Using DEI

By The Geller Report

USAID official and three company executives plead guilty in fraud and bribery scheme involving at least 14 contracts worth over $550 million

USAID Official Roderick Watson took bribes, was showered with lavish gifts— including cash, laptops, thousands of dollars in tickets to a suite at an NBA game, a country club wedding, down payments on two residential mortgages, cell phones, and jobs for relatives.

In exchange for the bribe payments, Watson influenced the award of contracts by manipulating the procurement process at USAID.

Watson faces a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.

Imagine how much more fraud there is…

USAID Official, Three Contractors Plead Guilty To Half-Billion Dollar Bribery Scheme

By  Luke Rosiak

Three government contractors and a USAID official have pleaded guilty to a scheme involving paying bribes in order to steer more than half a billion dollars in foreign aid contracts, the Department of Justice said Friday.

Roderick Watson, a USAID contracting officer, admitted to steering money to multiple companies in exchange for more than $1 million in bribes.

“Watson exploited his position at USAID to line his pockets with bribes in exchange for more than $550 million in contracts,” Guy Ficco of IRS Criminal Investigation said in a statement. “While he helped three company owners and presidents bypass the fair bidding process, he was showered with cash and lavish gifts.”

The scheme was possible because of the federal government’s racial “set-aside” laws known as 8(a) contracting, which allow contracting officers to give contracts to companies owned by minorities, women, or veterans without the usual competitive process.

Walter Barnes III, the founder of a Baltimore-area company predicated on taking advantage of those laws, admitted to paying bribes, including a country-club wedding, cash, and a trip to Martha’s Vineyard.

Barnes’s company is called Vistant, previously known as PM Consulting Group. It was awarded contracts on the pretense that it was “disadvantaged” because Barnes is black, even as it took in tens of millions of dollars. Barnes used a public defender in his court case, drawing a rebuke from the judge that he presumably had ample resources to pay for his own lawyer.

Also pleading guilty was Darryl Britt, the founder of 8(a) contracting firm Apprio Inc., which is received $271 million in federal contracts since 2004. Both companies also admitted criminal liability.

Beginning in 2013, Britt — a member of Carnegie Mellon University’s Business Board of Advisers — bribed Watson to award contracts to Apprio. When an 8(a) firm becomes too large, it “graduates” from its “disadvantaged” status. But minority contracting laws are notoriously exploited, with minority-owned firms existing simply to win contracts, then subcontracting out the work to other firms. That is often done openly, and above board, with “joint ventures.”

Israel took ‘Death to Israel’ seriously. We should take ‘Death to America’ seriously. thumbnail

Israel took ‘Death to Israel’ seriously. We should take ‘Death to America’ seriously.

By Jihad Watch

Death to Iran’s regime.

Last month, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei told an enraged crowd of Islamists that President Trump’s statements weren’t even “worthy of a response.”

As the crowd chanted “Death to America”, Iran’s leader called Trump a liar, and warned that, “America should leave the region, and leave it will.” Then he called for the destruction of the Jewish State while the crowd chanted, “Death to Israel.”

The only question was whether America and Israel would take the regime’s threats seriously.

That question was answered when Israel, after two decades of trying to get the mostly fictitious “international community” to do something about Iran’s nuclear program, finally took action.

The endless negotiations in pursuit of an impossible deal that would somehow allow Iran to have nuclear technology without nuclear weapons were based on refusing to listen to what the Islamist terror regime said, as recently as weeks ago, and refusing to believe that it meant it.

To believe in a nuclear deal, you also had to believe that a terror state that gets its electricity from its abundant natural gas resources for a fraction of the cost of our electricity wanted a civilian nuclear program. To believe in any kind of deal with Iran, you had to believe, as the New York Times insisted to sell Obama’s nuke deal, that Iran “has a complicated relationship with the phrase” and that when it says, “Death to America” and “Death to Israel”, it doesn’t really mean it.

“The situation between America and Iran is this: When you chant ‘Death to America!’ it is not just a slogan – it is a policy,” Ayatollah Khamenei explained in 2023.

What did that policy look like in practice?

“‘Death to America’ means death to Trump,” Khamenei previously warned.

Last year, an Iranian operative was charged in a plot by the IRGC, Iran’s terror arm, to assassinate Trump before Election Day.  The “complicated relationship” wasn’t so complicated and it’s not a metaphor. “Death to Trump” literally meant trying to kill the president. “Death to America” means the destruction of America. And “Death to Israel” means just what it says.

Apologists for the Jihadist regime in Tehran try to pretend that it’s about our foreign policy, but beyond chanting for the destruction of America, Israel and England, the chants at the Khamenei speech included “Death to the hypocrites and infidels” (meaning the deaths of all non-Muslims and insufficiently devout Muslims) and death to those who oppose the supreme power of Sharia Islamic jurisprudence in the form of its Ayatollahs, Mullahs and other theocratic tyrants.

According to Ayatollah Khomeini anyone who did not believe that Mohammed, Islam’s genocidal warlord prophet was a messenger of Allah, is defined as an infidel, and the only thing to do is to convert him, enslave him or kill him. “If one permits an infidel to continue in his role as a corrupter of the earth, the infidel’s moral suffering will be all the worse. If one kills the infidel, and this stops him from perpetrating his misdeeds, his death will be a blessing to him.”

Opposing the Ayatollahs just made America one of the first ‘infidels’ in line for destruction.

Iran kidnapped our diplomats, bombed our Marines, abducted and tortured our people, brutally killing them in the most grotesque ways, because its regime believes in “Death to America.”

Not as a metaphor or a complicated relationship, but as violently graphic as the Muslim terrorists jumping up and down on the body of Navy diver Robert Stethem and then putting up a microphone to his face to broadcast the screams or removing the skin from the face of Colonel William R. Higgins before castrating, killing him and dumping his body near a mosque.

That’s ‘Death to America’.

The Israelis, who live much closer to Iran than we do, did not decide to escape into the extended Carter administration diplomatic dreamworlds about a deal with Iran. They understood that Iran was serious and they acted. Whatever we do or don’t do about Iran, we would be fools to pretend that the Islamic terrorist regime isn’t serious about wanting us dead.

And bigger fools to act like we can bribe or negotiate our way out of the threat.

Right now, Israel is doing our work for us in fighting Islamic terrorists. It’s doing it even though our elected officials keep sending mixed messages, undermining Israel, calling for restraint and pretending that the Middle East would be more stable if it were dominated by the terrorists.

Obama already tried that with the Arab Spring. It turned out the same way Carter’s Iran tampering and every experiment in nation building and democracy by the Bushes, Clinton and other administrations did. Instead of standing up to Muslim terrorists, we let ourselves be intimidated by them, by their sheer numbers, by their destructiveness and willingness to die.

But Israel, far smaller than us, a country tiny enough that you can walk its width, stood up to an entire region. Iran is 80 times Israel’s size, has 9 times its population and yet Israel did what so many of our administrations feared to do. Why? Because Israel understood what we deny.

Israel knew that the calls for genocide are real and that the alternative to action is death.

Faced with the threat of death, Israel instead brought death to the IRGC leaders of Iran’s death machine, to its commanders and struck at the machinery of its ballistic missile and nuclear program meant to kill millions. Its secret wasn’t just its brilliant strategy, but its grip on reality.

Israel took Iran seriously and acted seriously. It faced down death threats and delivered death to the terrorist enemies of civilization. That is what serious nations do. Unserious ones play word games and take refuge in wishful thinking. As we confront not only Iran, but Islamic terrorists around the world and in our own country, it’s time we get serious too.

If our enemies want to kill us, we have a choice between killing them or letting them kill us.

Majority of Dem Voters Disapprove of Congressional Democrats thumbnail

Majority of Dem Voters Disapprove of Congressional Democrats

By Family Research Council

For the past several months at the very least, President Donald Trump has dominated headlines. His populist economic and immigration policies, conflicts with federal courts, and interactions with foreign governments have captured the public’s attention for weeks on end. But despite the Democrat-led outrage against the president’s most controversial agenda items, blue voters are significantly unhappy with their party’s leadership.

According to a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday, most Americans (70%) disapprove of congressional Democrats’ job performance, while only 21% approve. However, a majority (53%) of Democratic voters themselves disapprove of congressional Democrats’ job performance, compared to only 41% who approve.

In comments to The Washington Stand, FRC Action Director Matt Carpenter explained, “Lately the Democrats have been on the wrong side of many of the so-called 80%-20% issues, but one issue Democratic voters and the American general public agree on is a strong disapproval of how Democrats in Congress are handling themselves.” He continued, “Unfortunately for Democrats in Congress, their base of support and the public at large agree on this point for different reasons.”

“The American people gave Trump a second term, with the first national popular vote win for a Republican presidential candidate since 2004, and a Republican Congress, to fix the border, enforce immigration law, tackle the cost-of-living crisis, bring some sanity to college campuses, end the pernicious gender ideology, and halt pro-abortion extremism,” Carpenter recounted. He continued, “The Democratic base is positioned diametrically opposite the Republican president and Congress on this agenda and want their elected representatives to do more to resist this agenda — which is incredibly popular among the average voting American.”

Carpenter concluded, “The Democrats in Congress are in a true catch-22. It would not be surprising to see some of the older Congressional Democrats announce their intentions to retire rather than run for reelection given their predicament.”

An Associated Press/NORC poll last month found that Democrats don’t have high hopes for their party’s future. Only 35% of Democratic voters were “optimistic” about the party going forward, compared to 36% who were “pessimistic.”

Some Democrats are disappointed with their elected representatives for not doing enough to oppose Trump and his agenda, despite Democrats introducing an attempt to impeach the president again and lobbying vociferously against his mass deportation program. But others are disenchanted with their party’s emphasis on policies and issues that, according to voters, are too extreme or too niche. A New York Times/IPSOS survey in February found that the majority of voters, including Democrats, consider the party to be out of touch with the priorities of most of America. Only 13% of Democrats, for example, listed LGBT issues as a top concern, while most voters reported that the emphasis the Democratic Party lays on LGBT issues is disproportionately high.

The Democratic Party was also found to be out of touch on economic issues. The overwhelming majority of Americans listed inflation and the economy as their top concerns, alongside health care and immigration, which aligned more closely with priorities voters ascribed to Republicans, while voters believed the Democrats’ top priorities to be abortion, LGBT issues, and climate change, none of which were issues voters considered important. A prior Gallup poll found that even though Democratic voters were more likely to rank abortion as a top issue than were Republicans or Independent voters, more Democrats cited the economy as a major concern.

Israel Launches Airstrikes against Iranian Nuclear Sites, Military Targets

By Family Research Council

In the early hours of Friday morning local time, Israel launched a series of deadly “preemptive strikes” against Iran, targeting military leaders and the nuclear refinement sites at the center of unfinished negotiations between Iran and the U.S.

Reports began circulating Thursday night (U.S. time) of explosions in Iran’s capital city of Tehran, with video footage depicting smoke in the air and fires in the distance. Israel’s defense ministry confirmed shortly afterwards that it was conducting a series of preemptive strikes against Iran, following reports that the country’s nuclear refinement facilities could possibly produce enough enriched uranium to develop nearly a dozen nuclear warheads.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that Israel had attacked Iran in a move he dubbed “Operation Rising Lion.” He explained that the airstrikes were part of “a targeted military operation to roll back the Iranian threat to Israel’s very survival.” Netanyahu continued, “This operation will continue for as many days as it takes to remove this threat. For decades, the tyrants of Tehran have brazenly, openly called for Israel’s destruction. They’ve backed up their genocidal rhetoric with a program to develop nuclear weapons.” He posited that Iran has “taken steps that it has never taken before to weaponize” the enriched uranium Iran is suspected to have amassed. “If not stopped, Iran could produce a nuclear weapon in a very short time — it could be a year, it could be within a few months,” the prime minister added. He declared, “This is a clear and present danger to Israel’s very survival.”

Iran’s state-run media outlet, the Islamic Republic News Agency, reported that Israeli strikes had succeeded in killing the head of Iran’s armed forces, Major General Hossein Salami, along with several other military commanders and at least two civilians employed as nuclear scientists. Israel Defense Forces (IDF) later confirmed that Salami and two other high-ranking Iranian military leaders were “all eliminated in the Israeli strikes across Iran by more than 200 fighter jets.” Immediately after the “preemptive strikes,” Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz reportedly declared a state of emergency in Israel, in anticipation of retaliation from Iran. IDF spokesperson Brigadier General Effie Defrin confirmed in a video statement that Israel was targeting Iran’s nuclear development sites.

After withdrawing most U.S. forces and civilians from the area prior to the attack, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a statement asserting that the U.S. was not party to the strikes against Iran and warning the regime not to erroneously retaliate against American forces or installations. “Tonight, Israel took unilateral action against Iran. We are not involved in strikes against Iran and our top priority is protecting American forces in the region. Israel advised us that they believe this action is necessary for its self-defense,” Rubio wrote. He added, “President Trump and the Administration have taken all necessary steps to protect our forces and remain in close contact with our regional partners. Let me be clear: Iran should not target U.S. interests or personnel.”

Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-N.D.) largely echoed Rubio’s statements in his own press release. “Today, Israel has determined that it must take decisive action to defend the Israeli people. The United States Senate stands ready to work with President Trump and with our allies in Israel to restore peace in the region and, first and foremost, to defend the American people from Iranian aggression, especially our troops and civilians serving overseas,” Thune wrote. He added, “Iran should heavily consider the consequences before considering any action against Americans in the region.”

State Department spokesman Ned Price told CNN that Israel’s attack was “premature” since “diplomacy had not run its course. There was a window in which the administration had to potentially find a way to a diplomatic off-ramp here.” Price reported that talks with Iran were potentially scheduled to continue into September, at which point the matter would be passed to the United Nations Security Council if the U.S. had not reached a satisfactory agreement with Iran. “That window was not closing today. That window would not close tomorrow. But by undertaking this operation today, Prime Minister Netanyahu has very solidly shut that window,” Price said.

U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff cautioned Republican leaders prior to Israel’s strike that retaliation by Iran could result in a mass casualty event, according to an Axios report. He pointed out that even without nuclear weapons, Iran’s ballistic missile arsenal is “as big of an existential threat” to Israel as the nation’s nuclear potential and may be able to overwhelm Israel’s air defenses.

As The Washington Stand previously noted, the U.S. has been engaged for several months now in negotiations with Iran surrounding the Middle Eastern regime’s capacity to produce nuclear weapons, with the next set of talks scheduled for Sunday. President Donald Trump has repeatedly warned Israel not to attack Iran before the U.S. concludes its negotiations. As recently as Thursday, Trump asked Israel not to strike Iran, saying during a press conference, “I’d much prefer an agreement. As long as I think there is an agreement, I don’t want [Israel] going in… I’d much prefer the friendly route.”

Following the strikes, however, the president posted on Truth Social, “I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal. I told them, in the strongest of words, to ‘just do it,’ but no matter how hard they tried, no matter how close they got, they just couldn’t get it done.” He said that he had warned Iran that an attack by Israel “would be much worse than anything they know, anticipated, or were told, that the United States makes the best and most lethal military equipment anywhere in the World, BY FAR, and that Israel has a lot of it, with much more to come — And they know how to use it.”

“Certain Iranian hardliner’s [sic] spoke bravely, but they didn’t know what was about to happen. They are all DEAD now, and it will only get worse!” Trump continued. He warned Iran that an agreement with the U.S. would be in the country’s best interest. “There has already been great death and destruction, but there is still time to make this slaughter, with the next already planned attacks being even more brutal, come to an end. Iran must make a deal, before there is nothing left, and save what was once known as the Iranian Empire,” he wrote. Trump added, “No more death, no more destruction, JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.”

According to an Israeli official cited by The Spectator Index, Israel’s campaign against Iran will last at least two weeks.

Liberals Force Young Children To Participate In Violent, Vulgar Anti-Trump Protests

By The Daily Caller

Left-wing protesters on Saturday forced young children to take part in shouting obscenities directed at President Donald Trump during nationwide “No Kings” demonstrations, footage taken by the Daily Caller shows.

The “No Kings” protests took place in several cities across the United States, with some of them turning violent, including one in Portland, Oregon, where rioters stormed a facility used by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Reporters with the Daily Caller in Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles, California, observed children taking part in those demonstrations against Trump.

WATCH:

In one video taken by a Daily Caller reporter in Washington, D.C., a young child can be seen using a microphone and saying “Fuck Trump” before his mother could snatch the microphone away. Many in the crowd laughed at the child’s comment.

A second video taken by a Daily Caller reporter in Los Angeles, where officials imposed a curfew after days of anti-ICE riots, showed a young girl beating apart a pinata in the form of Trump with a stick to the cheers of a crowd.

Some Democrats previously issued demands that ICE cease its operations in the Los Angeles area, claiming it was affecting the economy.

WATCH:

Video posted to social media on June 7 showed an individual, who the FBI later identified as Elpido Reyna in a post on X, throwing rocks at the windshields of vehicles containing federal law enforcement personnel with the FBI offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to Reyna’s arrest.

Two attempts on Trump’s life took place during the 2024 presidential campaign, one during a July 2024 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, the other in September 2024 while Trump was playing a round of golf in Florida. Ryan Wesley Routh, who was charged with the September 2024 attempted assassination, declared his intent to end Trump’s death in a letter, according to legal filings.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Vance Boelter, the suspect accused of shooting two Minnesota state lawmakers, killing one and her husband, was captured on Sunday, multiple law enforcement sources confirmed to Fox News.

Boelter, 57, was captured in Sibley County after a two-day manhunt. He allegedly killed former Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, early Saturday morning at their Brooklyn Park home in Minneapolis. He also allegedly shot State Sen. John Hoffman, also a Democrat, and his wife, Yvette, in their nearby Champlin home in a related attack.

The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office told Fox News that Boelter “verbally” identified himself to authorities searching for him in the area on Sunday evening.

“The face of evil. After relentless and determined police work, the killer is now in custody,” the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post. “Thanks to the dedication of multiple agencies working together along with support from the community, justice is one step closer.”

Speaking at a press conference alongside other law enforcement officers after Boelter’s arrest, Brooklyn Park Police Department Chief Mark Bruley said there were more than 20 different SWAT teams involved in the search. He described it as “the largest manhunt in the state’s history.”

The manhunt included officers from multiple agencies on foot as well as the use of a helicopter.

6 Reasons Why Israel’s Strike against Iran Was Justified thumbnail

6 Reasons Why Israel’s Strike against Iran Was Justified

By Family Research Council

As the world processes reports of Israeli airstrikes against the Iranian regime’s military and nuclear weapons program, Christians should think carefully about how to respond. On one hand, we lament the loss of human life that wars bring as we follow our Lord in affirming, “blessed are the peacemakers” (Matthew 5:9). On the other hand, we also learn from Jesus that “wars and rumors of wars” (Matthew 24:6) will characterize this fallen world until he returns.

Recognizing that there sometimes is “a time for war” (Ecclesiastes 3:8), Christian theologians since the fourth century have developed universal principles for Just War — that is, defining the conditions under which war is justified. “Just War Theory actually goes back to [the fourth-century theologian] Augustine… who kind of articulated some of these principles,” said David Closson, director of FRC’s Center for Biblical Worldview, “and it’s been expanded upon since then.”

In a March interview on “Washington Watch,” Closson outlined six principles of Just War Theory:

  • First, “There needs to be a just cause. You can’t just go to war for any reason. … This rules out a war of aggression from the start.”
  • Second, “There has to be right intention. A nation goes to war to end grave injustice or to restore peace. You can’t just go to war because you don’t like your enemy, you don’t like the nation next door. You can’t go simply because of vengeance.”
  • Third, “A just war needs to be waged by a legitimate authority. This would rule out individual actors or groups.”
  • Fourth, “War should be a last resort. … Christians should never be the people itching to go to war. You exhaust all options before you think about war.”
  • Fifth, “There would need to be proportionate objectives — all things considered, in terms of loss of life that might be lost or money that might be lost. … The things that you might lose in a war can outweigh what you’re trying to remedy.”
  • Sixth, “There needs to be a reasonable chance of success. I would point people to Luke chapter 14.” In describing the cost of discipleship, Jesus uses this metaphor, “Or what king, going out to encounter another king in war, will not sit down first and deliberate whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? And if not, while the other is yet a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks for terms of peace” (Luke 14:31-32).

These principles provide a framework for analyzing Israel’s airstrikes against the Iranian regime through a biblical worldview. Because Israel’s strike meets each criterion, these principles also provide six reasons why Israel’s strike against Iran was justified, reordered below:

Just Cause: Self-Defense against Annihilation

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi complained in a letter to the U.N. that Israel’s airstrikes “amount to a declaration of war against the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

But Israel’s war with Iran did not begin on Friday morning. Israel’s war with Iran began on October 7, 2023, when Hamas — supported by and subservient to Iran — launched a surprise attack against Israel, killing more than 1,200 people, injuring thousands, and capturing more than 200.

Immediately after Hamas’s October 7 attack, Israel was thrown into a multi-front war against Iran’s extensive network of terrorist proxies in Gaza (Hamas), Lebanon (Hezbollah), and Yemen (the Houthis), as well as smaller outfits fighting from Judea, Samaria, Syria, and Iraq. On October 1, 2024, Iran itself launched missiles at Israel in response to Israeli forces invading Hezbollah-controlled territory in Lebanon.

While not every front in the war sees constant fighting, they are not random or disconnected. The Iranian regime seeks Israel’s annihilation as a necessary implication of its Islamist ideology, and both Israel and Iran understand this genocidal intent. In recent years, Iran has grown steadily closer to obtaining the weapons it needs to turn its ambition into reality.

“For decades, the tyrants of Tehran have brazenly, openly called for Israel’s destruction,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said after the airstrikes. “They’ve backed up their genocidal rhetoric with a program to develop nuclear weapons.”

Nearly two years ago, Iran and its proxies attacked Israel, with the avowed purpose of destroying the nation. Israel has deftly beaten back the lesser attacks. But, unless the Israeli government wanted Iranian nukes to destroy its cities, it had to strike Iran itself.

Right Intention: Crippling Iran’s Nuclear Weapons Program

This points to Israel’s intention to carry out the strikes. Israel’s purpose was not to seize territory, take revenge on enemies, or gain worldly glory. As Netanyahu explained it, Israel carried out “a targeted military operation to roll back the Iranian threat to Israel’s very survival” by destroying its nuclear weapons program.

Thus, Israel did not bomb cities, civilian infrastructure, or ports. They bombed nuclear enrichment facilities, nuclear scientists, and (to further ensure their safety) the generals who would likely mount a counterattack.

Proportionate Objectives: Strikes against Legitimate Military Targets

These actions also fulfill the Just War principle of proportionality. This principle does not envision a sort of eye-for-eye equality in strikes, as the Biden administration often conceived it. Rather, it envisions means that are proportional to the ends. Israel sought to protect itself from a nuclear Holocaust by crippling Iran’s nuclear weapon program (it would obviously like to escape a conventional missile barrage, too). Therefore, Israel struckelements of Iran’s nuclear weapons program, along with related defenses, and the generals who might oversee a retaliatory strike.

Reasonable Chance of Success: Israel Previously Devastated Iran’s Air Defenses

Israel had ample reason to believe its airstrikes would be successful because it carried out preliminary strikes only months earlier. On October 26, 2024 (weeks after Iran’s missile barrage against Israel), the Israeli air force put on a dominant performance in Iranian airspace, demolishing Iran’s anti-aircraft defenses, missile and drone production sites, and other targets. Israeli planes prowled the sky for hours, carrying out 140 sorties across Iran, then returning home with no casualties.

The effect of this previous strike is that it left Iran vulnerable to future air attacks, particularly against its nuclear weapons program (Israel did not attack Iran’s nuclear weapons program in October due to intense pressure from the Biden administration).

“Israel will be able to operate there freely because they don’t have an anti-aircraft shield,” explained Caroline Glick, now a senior advisor to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “If we attack again, will be able to just hover over any city, basically, in Iran that we need to, in order to attack the targets that we need to take out — whether it’s oil infrastructure, whether it’s nuclear infrastructure, or regime targets.”

Legitimate Authority: Netanyahu Is the Legal Head of Israel’s Government

Speaking of Netanyahu, his position automatically fulfills this next principle of just war. The prime minister is the legitimate head of the Israeli government. He leads a coalition government that controls a majority of seats in the Israeli Parliament, the Knesset, which is popularly elected according to the Israeli constitution. This government, in turn, exercises authority over the Israeli military through the War Cabinet. Thus, the strikes were ordered by Israel’s legitimate authority.

This may seem obvious or overly simplistic, but it serves to highlight the contrast between Israel and most of its enemies. Iran’s terrorist proxies — Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis — are not legitimate authorities of nation states. They are terrorist militias that illegally seized territory by force. This is significant because, by definition, lawful authorities have a monopoly on the legitimate use of force, making all the attacks of these groups inherently illegal. And all these groups have taken their marching orders from the Iranian regime (which may be the legitimate ruler of its own territory, but not the territory of other nations).

Last Resort: All Diplomatic Efforts Failed to Dissuade Iran from Pursuing a Nuclear Weapon

Israel’s military strike on Iran’s uranium enrichment sites and other elements of its covert nuclear weapons came after all possible diplomatic efforts failed to dissuade Iran from pursuing a nuclear weapon. Even if they could not know precisely how much time was on the clock, Israel knew that time was running out, so they threw this buzzer-beater.

Iran has “taken steps that it has never taken before to weaponize” its rapidly growing stockpile of enriched uranium, said Netanyahu. “If not stopped, Iran could produce a nuclear weapon in a very short time — it could be a year, it could be within a few months. This is a clear and present danger to Israel’s very survival.”

The issue came to a head on Thursday, when the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) officially ruled that Iran had not complied with its treaty requirements to submit to external oversight of its nuclear stockpiles. Such a ruling could reinstate severe U.N. sanctions against Iran. In response to this step — the diplomatic nuclear option, if you will — Iran furiously announced plans to accelerate its uranium enrichment by opening a new facility. It also threatened that, if sanctioned, it would withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). In 55 years, the only country to withdraw from the NPT is North Korea, which did so when it developed its first nuclear weapons.

“Over the past several decades, Western powers have tried to avoid this eventuality through sanctions against Iran, endless diplomacy, Barack Obama’s disastrous nuclear deal, and the ‘maximum pressure’ campaign of Trump’s first term,” wrote the National Review editors. “Multiple acts of sabotage and other covert activities by Israel set back Iran’s program at various points. But ultimately, Iran would not give up its pursuit of nuclear weapons, and Israelis had no choice but to act.”

This is, perhaps, the most debated point. State Department spokesman Ned Price called Israel’s attack “premature” because “diplomacy had not run its course.” But American diplomatic efforts have also not changed Iran’s position, which is that it has the right to enrich as much uranium as it wants, to levels far beyond what is necessary for civilian nuclear purposes.

On Thursday, Trump wrote that he had given “Iran chance after chance to make a deal,” and he warned the regime to strike a deal now or else there would be “much more to come” from Israel.

Conclusion

The fact that war is an unavoidable feature of our fallen world does not mean Christians should be fond of it. Even just wars, as outlined above, are permissible only under narrow conditions, as a last resort, by the proper authority.

By contrast, Christians are entrusted with “the ministry of reconciliation,” writes Paul, “that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God” (2 Corinthians 5:18-20).

Christians should act and pray for peace, “because God can do what man cannot,” said FRC President Tony Perkins. “He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire” (Psalm 46:9). Sometimes, God even destroys not-yet-made nuclear missiles by means of other weapons.

Authorities Identify Suspect In Assassination Of Minnesota Lawmaker

By The Daily Caller

Authorities reportedly have identified Vance Boelter as the top suspect in the killings of Democratic Minnesota State Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, as well as wounding Democratic Minnesota State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, on Saturday, according to The Associated Press.

Law enforcement believes that Vance Luther Boelter allegedly killed Hortman and her husband early Saturday morning before going on to shoot and seriously injure Democratic State Sen. John Hoffman of Minnesota and his wife, according to the AP.

Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz reportedly tapped Boelter in 2019 to serve on the Governor’s Workforce Development Board after having previously served on the Governor’s Workforce Development Council under former Democratic Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton, according to the New York Post.

Police said they encountered the shooter, who they reportedly believe to be Boelter, at Hortman’s home and exchanged fire before the individual managed to slip away. The individual who engaged law enforcement at the scene posed as a policeman in order to carry out the attacks on Hortman and Hoffman.

Police found “No Kings” signs in the suspect’s vehicle, and advised residents not to attend planned anti-Trump “No Kings” protests in a Facebook post. Walz stated that Hortman’s murder was a “politically-motivated assassination” during a Saturday news conference, and authorities said they have recovered a manifesto as well as a list of other targets.

Multiple law enforcement entities have been searching for the gunmen throughout the day Saturday.

Protesters in Iran Favor Reza Pahlavi thumbnail

Protesters in Iran Favor Reza Pahlavi

By Amil Imani

Close to forty-six years after the establishment of the Islamic Republic, the people cry for Reza Pahlavi. That is a fact. The rest is history. This is not fiction. This is reality, as we all have witnessed in recent protests in Iran, where people have been shouting for him to come back and save them from the brutal Islamic regime.

WATCH: Iranian protestors showing no signs of stopping mass uprising against regime

There are millions of reasons for this call. One of which Prince Pahlavi responds: “The failure of theocratic tyranny in Iran.” He continues, “The second highest rate of executions in the world. Millions were spent meddling in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen. The disappearance of our beloved Lake Urmia & the desertification of many provinces. Record-high unemployment, and much, much more.

Let’s be clear on one thing: many people are under the assumption that Pahlavi’s ambition is to revive the Monarchy in Iran. Nothing could be further from the truth. He has often asserted that his first and only goal is to free Iran from the hands of vicious mass killers, the Mullahs, and their cronies. He has no ulterior motive other than doing what he can to help his countrymen in Iran, and his willingness to become the catalyst to dislodge the current brutal regime.

He has advocated a referendum for people to decide what type of government they desire. “Iranians are the ones who decide their destiny and the future form of their government in a free and democratic referendum.”

During widespread demonstrations across Iran in December and January, many protesters chanted slogans supporting the Pahlavi dynasty. They particularly praised what the dynasty’s founder Reza Shah the Great, Prince Reza’s grandfather, did for his country.

Pahlavi was only 17 years old when the Islamic revolution occurred. A young and only heir to the crown of the Pahlavi Dynasty. “I left the day after my high school graduation with a couple of suitcases,” Pahlavi recalls, “not at all able to imagine this would be the last day I would be in my homeland.”

Many Iranians, including myself, can relate to him. I left Iran at the same age. This thuggish revolt in Iran, better known as the Islamic Revolution of Iran, did nothing for Iran except take Iran back 1400 years. There were never any questions about the Islamists denigrating Iran and exulting in Islamic culture. These mullahs owe their livelihood and parasitic lives to the lucrative business of lies and deception of the gullible Iranian people.

These leeches need to continue trumpeting the sainthood of their business founder and driving all other competition out of Iran. Give these worms credit for paying homage to the source of their shameful livelihood.

More than four decades of rule by the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) has not only failed to achieve the security and well-being of its people; it has ensnared the nation in a stifling theocracy where the rights of the governed are routinely violated for the benefit of the governing.

A religious autocracy quickly usurped the revolution of 1979 that brought down King Mohammad Reza Shah, mainly by Western Powers.

Today, with each passing day in Iranian streets, the popularity of Reza Pahlavi is growing. He has solidified his position as the only person capable of bringing change to Iran. People all across Iran call his name daily. They write his name on Iranian money, walls, bridges, and anything they can handle to show solidarity with this man. He has proven to be a highly knowledgeable and respected leader, not only to the Iranian population in Iran but to many opposition groups abroad.

“I am calling upon a process of civil disobedience, which is a method of change. How? By bringing domestic pressure on the system. Suppose enough people refused to cooperate, like Indians in India during the British time, when they could paralyze the system with massive, sustained labor strikes across the nation. In that case, that is not shooting bullets in the streets,” Says Pahlavi.

In an exclusive interview with NEWSMAX, he stated:

“America can help to empower a stable, just, and humane society for our Iranian people through moral support and by not ignoring us. It is particularly urgent to aid us in establishing free media and an open Internet that demand government transparency. Such access to communications has driven dramatic changes in global societies over recent decades.”

Pahlavi has shown by words and actions that the transition from the present failed Islamic regime to democracy is the central objective of his mission. Vital to the effort’s success is abandoning old suspicions, parochial thinking, and scheming for special privileges for individuals or groups. Goodwill and work for the common good are required of all. This new way of thinking is a new paradigm shift from the destructive practices of the past.

In short, the US government and Europeans must stand shoulder to shoulder with the Iranian people to end the Islamic nightmare that has cast a cloud of terror over the past forty years. This is a momentous era. You have two choices: Stand with the freedom-loving people of Iran and the leadership of Prince Reza Pahlavi, or step aside.

The people of Iran have already made up their minds. You should, too.

Military action between the Islamic Republic and Israel have thrust the Middle Eastern region into the spotlight.

However, it is crucial to delve deeper into the intricate dynamics at play beyond geopolitical maneuvering and saber-rattling. One key distinction often overlooked is the differentiation between the Islamic Republic and the Iranian people.

Iran means the land of Aryans.

The first step in supporting Iranians is to recognize and understand the distinction between the Iranian people and the Islamic Republic. It is essential to acknowledge that the Iranian people are distinct from the regime that governs them. This understanding can help prevent the conflation of the actions of the regime with the desires and aspirations of the Iranian populace.

Iran is NOT the Islamic Republic. Period.

The Ayatollah Khomeini went as far as stating:

“We do not worship Iran; we worship Allah,” he said, speaking in Qom in 1980. “For patriotism is another name for paganism. I say let this land [Iran] burn. I say let this land go up in smoke, provided Islam emerges triumphant in the rest of the world.”

The frustration felt by Iranians due to the world equating them with the regime cannot be overstated. It is imperative to recognize that Iran has a rich historical and cultural identity that predates the establishment of the Islamic Republic. Once referred to as Persia, it was the land of the Aryans. A civilization renowned for its contributions to art, science, and literature. The Iranian people, contrary to the regime’s actions, yearn for peace and stability in their homeland.

It is the mullahs vs. the people.

Discontent with the Islamic Republic runs deep within the Iranian populace. Activists and ordinary citizens alike have voiced their opposition to the regime, often at great personal risk. The simmering ethnic tensions between the regime and segments of the Iranian population further underscore the internal strife that plagues the country.

Let’s filter out the misinformation and know the Untold Story. Iranians face a daunting challenge in amplifying their voices amidst the cacophony of misinformation that surrounds them. “Crazy narratives” and “mass disinformation” about Iran often cloud the true aspirations and struggles of its people. The advent of social media, while a potential tool for activism, also presents its own set of challenges in a landscape dominated by state-controlled narratives.

This is a Call for Clarity.

It is essential to advocate for the use of precise language when discussing Iran. By distinguishing between “Iran” and the “Islamic Republic,” observers can better understand the situation. This differentiation is crucial in acknowledging the Iranian people’s desire to be recognized as a peace-loving society distinct from the actions and policies of the Islamic regime.

We can begin the process by discoursing Iranian voices. The world can better support Iranians by providing platforms for their voices to be heard. This can be done through international media coverage, support for independent journalism within Iran, and facilitating opportunities for Iranian activists and advocates to share their perspectives on the global stage. By doing this, the Iranian voices and the world can better understand the sentiments and aspirations of Iranian citizens.

Only then can we move on to the “diplomatic engagement” stage because diplomatic efforts that prioritize the well-being and aspirations of the Iranian people are the only significant form of support. This involves fostering constructive dialogue with Iranian civil society, human rights organizations, and representatives of diverse Iranian communities and diasporas.

Diplomatic engagement should aim to empower Iranians and address their concerns, thereby demonstrating solidarity with the Iranian people.

Advocacy for human rights in Iran is crucial for supporting Iranians. The world can advocate for the protection of fundamental rights, freedom of expression, and the release of political prisoners in Iran. By standing up for the human rights of Iranians, the global community sends a powerful message of solidarity and support for those striving for a more just and free society within Iran.

The final stage of recognition of the Iranian people is cultural exchange and collaboration. Promoting cultural exchange and collaboration with Iranian artists, intellectuals, and civil society members can foster mutual understanding and solidarity. Encouraging educational and artistic exchanges and collaborations in science, technology, and academia can build bridges between the Iranian people and the international community.

Therefore, it is imperative to recognize the complexities underlying the relationship between the Iranian people and the Islamic Republic. A more nuanced understanding that separates the people from the regime is crucial and respectful of the desires and struggles of the Iranian populace.

The time for a change has arrived.  The majority of the Iranian people refuse to be fooled and intimidated any longer. They refuse to obey orders from the beasts of Allah currently ruling Iran. Iranians have recognized the fundamental weaknesses of their oppressors. With a little help here and a little help there, they can be transformed overnight from seemingly subdued and helpless sheep into mighty lions.

It is time for the Iranians to strike, gather forces, organize, and especially demonstrate in the streets in increasing numbers, even in the face of massive, gruesome, bloody repression by the Islamic rulers, who still have a powerful armed apparatus at their disposal. It is time to unleash the wrath of the Iranian people on the Islamic zealots. It is time to become even more defiant and end the barbaric theocratic regime by massive participation in a freedom revolution to end this primitive Islamic nightmare.

The Iranian People’s Thunderous Rebellion thumbnail

The Iranian People’s Thunderous Rebellion

By Amil Imani

For decades, the Islamic Republic has crushed the soul of Iran under its iron fist, a tyrannical regime that has bled its people dry, sowing terror, poverty, and despair. This monstrous machine, built on fanaticism and oppression, has choked the life from a proud nation, silencing voices with brutality, imprisoning dreamers, and executing dissenters.

But now, the ground shakes with the fury of a people awakening. The Iranian masses are rising, their rage a wildfire, fueled by years of suffering and ignited by a blazing truth: Israel, led by the indomitable Benjamin Netanyahu, has become their liberator, striking the regime’s heart with unrelenting force. This is no time for whispers or hesitation—this is the hour of thunder, the moment for Iran to seize its freedom and for Israel to repay an ancient debt forged by Cyrus the Great 2,500 years ago.

The Islamic Republic is a cancer, devouring Iran’s spirit and spreading its poison across the Middle East. It has turned a once-vibrant civilization into a prison, where women are beaten for showing their hair, where youth are tortured for daring to dream, and where entire communities are starved to fund the regime’s proxy wars.

The ayatollahs, cloaked in false piety, have looted Iran’s wealth to build missiles and militias, leaving millions in poverty while their Revolutionary Guards crush skulls and break spirits. This is not governance—it is slavery. The regime’s nuclear ambitions, a dagger aimed at the world, have only tightened the noose around Iran’s neck, chaining its people to a future of isolation and fear.

But the chains are breaking. Israel’s Operation Rising Lion, a relentless storm of precision strikes, has smashed the regime’s nuclear facilities, obliterated its military command, and gutted its ballistic missile arsenal. Over 200 targets— command centers, enrichment sites, fuel depots—lie in ruins, their ashes a testament to Israel’s resolve.

Netanyahu, a warrior-king in the mold of ancient heroes, has not merely attacked; he has unleashed a reckoning. “We will hit every site, every target of the ayatollah regime,” he declared, his words a clarion call to a people yearning for liberation. The regime’s leaders, from Khamenei to his bloodthirsty generals, are not just shaken; they are packing their bags, their grip on power crumbling as Israel’s jets roar over Tehran.

This is no coincidence but destiny. Over 2,500 years ago, Cyrus the Great, Persia’s enlightened ruler, freed the Jews from Babylonian captivity, restoring their dignity and homeland. Now, Benjamin Netanyahu repays that ancient debt, not with words but fire and steel.

Israel’s strikes are not just military—they are a beacon, a call to arms for every Iranian who has suffered under the regime’s boot. “The time has come for the Iranian people to unite around your flag and its historic legacy,” Netanyahu thundered, echoing the cry of “Woman, Life, Freedom – Zan, Zendegi, Azadi.” This is not Israel against Iran; this is Israel and Iran’s true sons and daughters against a common enemy—the murderous Islamic Republic that has oppressed both nations.

Iranian people hear this call. The streets pulse with defiance across cities and villages, from Tehran to Tabriz. Social media burns with voices proclaiming what the regime fears most: “The vast majority of us Iranians, 90% or more, support Israel,” one post declares, capturing the sentiment of millions. The 2022 “Woman, Life, Freedom” uprising showed the world Iran’s courage, as women burned their hijabs and men faced bullets for liberty.

Now, with the regime’s defenses shattered and its commanders dead, the moment is ripe. This is not a protest—it is a revolution. The Iranian people are not begging for scraps; they are ready to tear down the ayatollahs’ empire and reclaim their nation.

The regime’s retaliation—missiles raining on Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa—only exposes its desperation. These are the death throes of a beast cornered, lashing out as its power collapses. Over 100 missiles and drones, launched in their so-called “True Promise 3,” have killed innocents, including children, in Israel.

But Israel stands unbroken, intercepting threats with iron resolve, its people united, its military unmatched. The regime’s boasts of “strategic targets” are hollow; their strikes are reckless, their defenses porous. Netanyahu’s warning—“More is on the way”—is no idle threat. Israel’s campaign will not stop until the ayatollahs’ regime is ash, its nuclear dreams buried, and its terror machine dismantled.

This war is Iran’s chance, its only chance, to rise. The regime’s weakness is laid bare: its commanders dead, its nuclear sites in ruins, its economy crippled. The Iranian people must seize this moment, flooding the streets in millions, tearing down the symbols of oppression, and driving the mullahs from power. The opposition, though fragmented, pulses with potential. Exiled Prince Reza Pahlavi, heir to Iran’s proud monarchy, is the only chance for a free Iran. Israel’s strikes have cleared the path; now the Iranian people must charge through it, armed with courage and the dream of a nation reborn.

Israel’s fight is Iran’s fight. Netanyahu’s vision is not just the destruction of a nuclear threat but the liberation of a people. The ayatollahs have brought Iran to its knees, but Israel has given it a sword. “Your light will defeat the darkness,” Netanyahu told Iranians, and they are answering. The regime’s days are numbered, its lies unraveling, its terror crumbling. This is the hour of reckoning, when Iran’s ancient glory will rise again, hand in hand with Israel, as brothers in freedom. The thunder of rebellion rolls; the Islamic Republic will fall.

‘So Help Me, God’: President Ends 250th Army Parade with Swearing in of New Recruits!

By Dr. Richard M. Swier, LTC U.S. Army (Ret.)

As a 23-year combat veteran and officer in the United States Army I have witnessed many parades. But this parade honoring the 250th anniversary of the founding of the U.S. Army, this was by far the best.

I watched the entire parade on C-SPAN. What impressed me was that the parade was narrated by Sergeant Major of the Army Christopher Stevens and Lieutenant General Brian Eifler, both from the Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel’s office.

As I watched this magnificent parade I was especially moved by seeing some of the units that I served with including the 101st Airborne Division, 1st Infantry Division and U.S. Army Special Forces in this tribute to our warriors.

Let me say that I was moved to tears seeing these young men and women warriors in thier tanks, armored personel carriers, howitzers and marching in unit formations. As a field artillery officer I watch as self-propelled 155 mm howizers and towed cannons that I commanded in the parade.

Moving doesn’t describe what I withnessed.

I was blessed to see the President of the United States, at the end of the parade, give the oath of office to young recruits.

NOTE: President Trump’s remarks are at the 2:19:21 mark.

WATCH: The U.S. Army 250th Anniversaray Parade and Celebration on C-SPAN

This event marks the beginning of the 250th Anniversary of these United States of America’s founding in 1776.

I’m guessing we will see another big, beautiful parade in Washington, D.C. on July 4th, 2026.

Humility—the Missing Ingredient thumbnail

Humility—the Missing Ingredient

By Jerry Newcombe, D. Min.

Recently, I had the privilege to be interviewed by Dr. Gina Loudon on “American Sunrise,” the morning program of “America’s Real Voice” network.

This was for their faith segment, and the one interviewing me this time was Dr. Gina Loudon.

(Other times it is David Brody of CBN.)

Dr. Gina asked me to comment about some remarks Hollywood A-lister Matthew McConaughey made about what appears to be his burgeoning faith.

McConaughey said recently, “I’m a believer. I believe in God.” He went to church as a child, and now is apparently returning to church.

One of the things that strikes him is how insignificant we appear to be in the universe: “I look at Earth. I look at the little dot that we are on the planet. The world’s turning. And we’re that little individual on the planet. That smallness can make you go, ‘Oh my gosh. I’m nothing. None of what I do matters.’”

And then he added, “But a place of humility is actually when you realize, ‘Oh, it all matters.’ There’s a great empowerment that comes with that.”

We wish him well on his spiritual journey, and here’s hoping he continues on this current trajectory. As the classic hymn puts it: “Jesus, the very thought of Thee, with sweetness fills the breast; but sweeter far thy face to see, and in thy presence rest.”

I’m glad McConaughey underscored the importance of humility. I think humility is often the missing ingredient in many lives.

I’m a student of American history, and in that interview, I mentioned how another American also humbly promoted faith. Patrick Henry, a key founding father, the orator of the American Revolution, gave the fiery speech in March 1775, “Give me liberty or give me death.” Twenty-seven days later came “the shot heard ‘round the world” in Concord, Massachusetts, more than 500 miles north of Richmond where Henry spoke.

When this great founding father was dying many years later, he wrote in his will: “I have now disposed of all my property for my family; there is one thing more I wish I could give them, and that is the Christian religion. If they had this, and I had not given them one shilling, they would be rich, and if they have not that, and I had given them all the world, they would be poor.”

Another great hero in American history was mightily used by God to help spark the First Great Awakening. I’m not talking about George Whitefield of England, who did a phenomenal job in spreading the Gospel of Christ a generation or two before the push for American independence.

I’m talking about Jonathan Edwards, the brilliant Congregationalist minister. He’s best known for preaching the sermon, “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God”—although Paul Johnson, author of A History of the American People (1997) asserts Edwards preached more often on the love of God.

Edwards was a model of humility. He had one of the greatest minds America ever produced, and, as noted, his preaching helped spawn the First Great Awakening in the 1730s, emanating from his church in Northampton, Massachusetts. Nevertheless, he was eventually fired by his own congregation around 1750 because of church politics.

But week after week, after being humiliated by his church, a deacon would come to his door on many Saturday afternoons and would ask the reverend if he would fill the pulpit the next day because they didn’t have anyone else to do it.

And so, many times, Jonathan Edwards would preach once again to the very congregation that had fired him. What humility.

Many of us pray for revival in America. I think humility is the missing ingredient there too. 2 Chronicles 7:14 famously says, “if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Note how God says the first key in the path to God’s healing of our land is humility.

The great Church father St. Augustine was once asked, “What are the three most important virtues?” He answered, “Humility, humility, and humility.”

I often like to quote the statement from George Washington in his well-known “Circular to the States,” June 8, 1783, where he calls for us to imitate Jesus, “the divine Author of our blessed Religion.”.

But humility, notes the father of our country, is a key ingredient in that equation: “without an humble imitation of whose example in these things, we can never hope to be a happy Nation.”

We need more humility in our time. Whether we get that message from the Bible, from ancient church fathers, the founding fathers of America or even Hollywood stars, a little humility goes a long way.

I’m MAD as Hell, and I’m not going to take it Anymore! thumbnail

I’m MAD as Hell, and I’m not going to take it Anymore!

By Karen Schoen

We are witnessing the Destruction of America. Surely, you have heard the old saying, “Those that do not learn History, are doomed to repeat it”? How did we let it happen?

My answer is…it’s always the same! Did you get involved within the last 20 years? Did you say NO, Hell No, this is CRAZY!

Can anyone remember Network, 1976? Here’s a reminder!

(This is for entertainment purposes only). Network

You’ve got to get MAD!

Did you ever say…You’re not going to do that…whatever that was. If you or your family have never seen Network, I strongly recommend you watch it. Powerful messages.

Did you throw out all your common sense and just buy into the WOKE mentality because it is easier?

Do you believe:

  • There are multiple genders.
  • CO2 is poison.
  • The government knows best, and should raise your children.
  • Sexual assault on children or adults is OK
  • Kids graduating without knowledge of reading, writing or math is OK
  • Filling the country with people who hate you, and want to hurt or kill you, is great!
  • Not paying attention to bills that are passed is great!

If you want to know what our problem is and how we got here, just look in the mirror. We created the problem, we own it.

We are the only ones that can FIX THIS!

I was a child of the 60’s. I feel like I am reliving those bad old days. I remember getting up in the mornings, asking my mom, “What buildings or cities do you think will be burned down today? Where is the next riot? When is it going to stop?”

I just could not understand why this was happening. Why people wanted to burn down their own community, colleges, cities resulting in hurting civilians, and law enforcement people. It made no sense. It made no sense.

E Pluribus Unem: Order Out of Chaos

The fact is these Globalists and Communists must create Chaos, because they HATE and despise Western Civilization. They believe that if they create enough Destruction, people will scream for them to clean it up, they become heroes, and get re-elected.

Ulterior Motives

I looked to see who was President during the bulk of the 60s riots. Kennedy, King, and Kennedy were assonated. .The Viet Nam War raged. The country was on edge. Racial inequality, economic disparities and police brutality were the hot topics of the day. Lynden B. Johnson (D) was President, and cities were in financial ruin. Did the Mayors of these cities think, “If I take advantage of the Destruction, we get plenty of money to repair the damage? Did rioting represent another way out of the financial mess? Is Newsom and Bass using that motive as well?

Another problem I see is that the Government always focuses on reacting to a disasters, rather than being proactive and focusing on the root cause of the disasters, and coming up with a plan. They never think of the consequences of their actions.

Sorry, Maxine, destruction of property is not peaceful!

If the people all the way up to the top are not arrested and held to account for their actions, we will have more riots. If funding is not stopped from radical groups, there will be more riots.

If riots continue…the severity, brutality, property damage, injuries, and deaths…escalate.

Pam, the ball is in your court. So far I see nothing and get crickets.

POWER, MONEY, CONTROL is the name of the game.

Once Communists have power, they will do anything possible to keep it. Remember to them, the Ends always justify the means. Lie, Cheat, Steal who cares if you are in power. Where does that power come from. It comes from controlling the government. The House has the power of the purse (MONEY). How do you keep that power? The CENSUS. The more people the more representatives. The more representatives, the more power you have to CONTROL the flow of MONEY. Thanks to SCOTUS, the “Are you a citizen?” question is NOT on the census, so illegals can be counted. The more illegals funneled into Blue states the greater the power. Trump is deporting their power and you support his actions. Therefore, they hate Trump and they Hate you.

President Trump told us what he would do if elected. He is doing it. He did, however, give Globalists plenty of time to prepare. They have been planning this agenda for years. Do not listen to their lies! I ask them constantly, to give me an example of what they say. They never can. All they can say is Trump is a NAZI.

Anyone older than 65 knew the minute Homan said ICE raids, that rioting and devastation would result. Once nothing was done in 2020 to arrest the criminal looters, we knew riots would result. Anyone, with any knowledge of Marxist history, knows that chaos is their game plan. By ignoring their actions, we ultimately suffer the results.

The sad part is, we have allowed these Marxists to infiltrate the minds of our children. Young minds filled with HATE, become the leaders of the future.

Falling into the Abyss

Their future now has become a future of hate, self-loathing, and loneliness. The joy of love for family, G-d, and country falls into the Abyss, to be forgotten forever. The ideals that make America what it is, are forgotten. The patriotic desire to put America First has been replaced with the symbol of burning the flag.

Our children and young people’s minds are replaced by devices loaded with AI algorithms, telling them every move they are to make while watching everything they do.

We cannot allow the election of President Donald Trump to be just a speed bump in the road only used to slow us down!

We must act. You see what is going on in Congress. The same RINOS, doing the bidding of the Establishment, not the people. To them, America First…is really, America LAST. Time to get rid of these RINOS.

This weekend is the 250th Anniversary of our great military, as well as Flag Day, and President Trumps’ birthday. This weekend may also be the beginning of WWIII.

Wish President Trump a Happy Birthday. See the parade showing our great military. Pray that Americ is not pushed into another forever war.

Then, ask your family if they know what the Flag represents. Can they recite the Pledge of Allegiance? Do they know what it means, since the Pledge is no longer taught in schools? Here is a refresher:

I pledge allegiance to the flag Of the United States of America

This addresses the Jurisdiction in the Constitution, you pledge to follow the laws of America and to the Republic for which it stands

America is a Republic representing self-rule, Not a Democracy, representing Government rule

One Nation

United we stand, divided we fall

Under G-d

We follow G-d laws, Globalists must eliminate any entity higher than the govt. To them the Government is G-d

Indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

undivided, where all citizens are equal in the eyes of the law, patriotism

CRASH & BURN

Don’t sit on the sidelines watching America crash and burn. Step up, and do your part. Vote in Primaries and Elections. Pay attention to local events, take action, vote out RINOs.

GET MAD!
